Morning:

Focus: God will listen to suggestions… Moses told God his thoughts, God listened and He will also hear you

Text: Number 14: 15 Now if You kill these people as one man, then the nations which have heard of Your fame will speak, saying, 16 ‘Because the Lord was not able to bring this people to the land which He swore to give them, therefore He killed them in the wilderness.’ 17 And now, I pray, let the power of my Lord be great, just as You have spoken, saying, 18 ‘The Lord is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.’[b] 19 Pardon the iniquity of this people, I pray, according to the greatness of Your mercy, just as You have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.”

20 Then the Lord said: “I have pardoned, according to your word; 21 but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord— 22 because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice, 23 they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it. 24 But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it. 25 Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwell in the valley; tomorrow turn and move out into the wilderness by the Way of the Red Sea.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

(Today you are all here for one Reason, to be given this Opportunity to become JOINT HEIR with Jesus) because in…

Verse 29 For those (You and me) God foreknew he also predestined (YOU) to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he (JESUS) might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

Verse 30 And those he predestined, (you and me) he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. Verse 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Devotionals for Wednesday April 29, 2015

MORNING:

Focus: What’s done in secret will be revealed. Your prayers in secret will be the most important of all…

The Power of Prayer… Prayer is the source of Power given to us by our Lord to seek HIM.
Thoughts for today… Do not throwaway today by fretting about tomorrow, The Bible said Fret not.

Text:  Matthew 6: 7-8 NIV

Jesus taught us how to pray

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Commentary:

Prayer is a Divine interaction with our Lord, He gave us this privilege of coming to Him, and He also revealed many secrets to us:

  1. Faith:                     This is the Power of coming into His Presence; Faith is the key step in coming to Him,
  2. Belief:                    He said when we pray we must have Faith and Believe we already received His Favor
  3. Supremacy:         He is Supreme and Sovereign, and we must place Him First over all
  4. Redemption:        Acknowledge His Redemption and His Grace that saved us
  5. Holy Spirit:           Seek His Holy Spirit and He is Omnipresence and Omni potent.
  6. Thanks Giving      Give Thanks and acknowledge in Faith that whatever we Ask or Think He said He will do

Are you facing a Giant today, Our Lord can make a way for you to overcome it and be victorious... Praise our Lord Jesus for He is Faithful.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Matthew 6: 7-14 NIV

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:

   “Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Philippians 4: 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. We need to focus on the positive more and still remember the negative results of sins. Our Lord is saying in HIS Prayer “   “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”… He was telling us while we are here the following will apply:

  • He (Jesus) is as powerful here on earth as He is in Heaven
  • He will supply our needs here while we are here on earth
  • He will protect from evil, by us trusting and knowing Him
  • As Christians we need to emphasize the following:
  • The Positive aspects of following our Lord Jesus, as He is Holy
  • The Joy that He provides by His words of Assurance
  • The Victory we have in Him

The satisfaction of spreading His Good news to others, as we spread His fragrance we also receive His blessings too.

We are to tear down the barriers to achieve the secret of satisfaction in coming to Jesus and fellowship in Christ in Oneness; knowing that we can find the fulfillment of all our needs in fellowship with God.

We thank our Lord Jesus for His Faithfulness and for His unspeakable gift.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 NIV

Principle:  Humbleness and Meekness shall triumph over pride and the boastful ones will be debased.  Pride Debases those that boast and put their trust in money and earthly things…. Correct Living is rooted in Christ    Pride displaces God from the heart in favor of Self

Hebrews 10:23 New International Version (NIV)

23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
                                                                                             †
Let us not judge others, and remembering that forgiveness is the first step towards building a relationship among each other.  To be less self-centered and Christ Centered

Conclusion:

We read...The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: "God, I thank you that I am not like other men--robbers, evildoers, and adulterers--or even like this tax collector." - Luke 18:11

Looking at such a prayer, we need to be less 'self-centered' and more 'Christ-Centered' as our Lord while on the cross, simply said... "Father forgive them for they know not what they do". Remember also as Jesus said while on the cross, "It is Finished" several events took place... Earthquakes, the Sun went dark for 3 Hours, the Curtain in the Temple was Torn, It should be noted that the Curtain was replaced by HIS NEW COVENANT, by HIS ULTIMATE SACRIFICE; and Jesus became our HIGH PRIEST! Knowing that Jesus our Redeemer ascended to Heaven and sits on the Throne of Righteousness, and HE intercedes on our behalf as our Advocate, as our High Priest.

What a privilege He gave us to be able to come to Him. Hebrews 7:25..."Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him (Jesus), because He always lives to intercede for them. (Hebrews 7:25 NIV)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus today as Your Houses of Worship where many are gathered Lord as You said You are in their midst… Lord let Your presence be felt and let Your churches be filled with Hearers that will receive Your Good News of your Redemption. Lord let the presenters of Your Messages be anointed with Your Holy Spirit to bring the Gospel to many and Lord; be with them as You are proclaimed to be God in One of our Father and as King of kings.  Lord Jesus we give You the Glory as we seek Your blessings on us all. Lord bless our visitors as we bring Your messages for Your Glory that many will come to know You Lord, as only what’s done for You Lord will last.  Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You, and in You Lord Jesus we commit all to You and Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for: Tuesday April 28, 2015

Morning:

Focus: What is you focus today? Your job, your family, your well-being, your health, wealth or is it happiness?

Giving our Lord Jesus Christ the Glory, because we can do nothing without Christ, but with Jesus all things are possible.  All of what we plan to do or are currently doing, without the blessings of our Lord it is in vain. God does not have a hand in your mission in life, you are either moving ahead by His plan or you are just shuffling around, making two steps ahead and one backward.

Just like the journey to the Promised-Land, the Israelites failed to apply one key factor… “FAITH” they depended on their own understanding by lacking faith.  Why do we say God does not have a hand in your plan? Because He is not bringing up the rear, He is leading.  We must identify His leadership and follow Him. Our finite plans are limited for a specific time, His plan is infinite, as He said…”I am not of this world”, therefore God’s plan is out of this world.

The excitement of moving into a new house, driving that new car out of the dealership, and having money in the bank, all these are still ‘temporary’. This is where ‘Estate-Planning’ comes into effect… all of the planning lacks one thing, what is this one thing? Eternity… The world’s landscape is dotted with magnificent estates, build by men, and guess what? These are just museums, places such as; The Hearst Castle in California, Versailles in France, and the most poignant of all is the Taj Mahal in Agra, India which is a tomb.  Ironically, a well-known developer in the USA built what he thought would be a ‘World-Class’ Resort that he aptly named ‘The Tajo Mahal’ probably he should have done some research on this before naming his billion dollar empire after a tomb. This project was a doomed venture and has since fallen into hard times.

Our plan for this week should be to include our Lord in the planning process making Jesus the Author and Finisher of the Plan. We must step back and follow His lead; we are like ‘ants’ in the scope of His ‘Heavenly-Realms’.  Because the new house, the new car, and those mansions are all similar to the ruins found in the jungle.  ‘Machu-Picchu’ being one of the most famous of all ruins, the inhabitants all passed, yet the buildings are reverting back to dust.

So recognizing that God gave us the answer to all of the above… The Good News of Christ’s Redemption, because He ‘Redeemed’ us and made us a ‘Joint-Heir’ in a Kingdom not made by human hands, and it will remain Un-Shaken.  A place where the streets are paved with Gold.

Principle: Claim His Redemption today, it is like a coupon that must be accepted and presented… This is the Seal of the Atoning Blood of Christ.  Unless we stand and receive this, we cannot claim it. It is freely given, but we must accept Him knowing that He is our Redeemer.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: John 15: 5 (NKJV) Jesus said…” I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without <e you can do nothing.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Jesus also said… Luke 9:23 NKJV Then He said to them all, “If anyone desire to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.”

What Jesus said…If your desire to follow Him, deny yourself, meaning He is preeminent, and we look to Him as the Leader, so we deny ourselves by allowing Him to Lead.  When Jesus said to take up our Cross daily, He is saying do just as He did, He nailed our sins to the Cross, so our personal cross is where we must bring our worldly desires and the things that are abominable to our Lord nail them to the cross and follow Him.  Where is He leading us?  To Glory, to His Kingdom, a place our Lord Jesus called Paradise.

Conclusion:

Yet for a while we are here, until that day when He calls us home, we must do this… Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good work. Titus 2: 13-14 (NKJV)

Come to Jesus just as you are, without one plea of defense as we are all sinners…

Pray: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come… Lord as You have patiently dealt with me and granted Your Grace, today I accept Your invitation to come and be renewed by You and to receive Your Holy Spirit as I come and accept Your Love and Redemption and go placing You first in my life. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen.

Prayer: Thanks You Father through our Lord Jesus we can boldly come to You knowing that whoever calls upon Your name Lord shall be saved. We thank You for the privilege of spreading Your Good News and we thank You for the Visitors in English, Chinese and Spanish, Lord be with each one and Lord bless our endeavors as it is done for Your Glory Lord. We thank You Lord and pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

All to Jesus I Surrender

His Faithfulness:

Yes you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

Devotionals for: Monday April 27, 2015

Morning:

Focus: Imagine a King that said…”you are no longer a servant but my friend”

The fiction by Mark Twain… The Prince and the Pauper tells of two boys that switched identities with the Prince growing up as a Pauper and the beggar growing us as the Prince. The time came when the Prince was to be crowned, the real prince showed up, but he was unable to prove that he was the real prince. The Sham-Prince did help him to prove that the ‘Pauper’ was the real Prince as they had switched roles.  The real Prince was restored to the monarchy with the assistance of the sham-Prince, who was later granted a position in the royal household.

The real King that said ‘You are no longer a servant but a Friend’ He is Jesus the King of kings. Jesus came from His place of Splendor, a place He called Paradise. He came to His own and His own did not receive Him.

TEXT: John 1:11

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. In Context | Full Chapter

The condescension of Christ

“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9

In the garden Jesus could have used his power to call twelve legions of angels to his rescue (Matthew 26:53), but instead he employed it to heal the ear of one of his enemies (Luke 22:51). On the cross he could have used his power to save himself, but instead he continued to employ it to save others—his enemies, including us (Romans 5:10).

Who can we trust? Ourselves? Our Government? “In God We Trust”

Text: John 14:27 New International Version (NIV)

27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Commentary:

The inscription “In God We Trust” is emblazed on our Coins and our Currencies… yet prayers are made at the state level without reference to our Lord.   The Bible states that we cannot come to God our Father without His Son; this is factual as God is Holy and cannot tolerate sin, as we are sinners.  So without the intercession by Jesus to His Father God, we who pray without coming to Jesus and trying to go directly,  we are only reaching the outer chamber and not in the presence of God.

In the Old Testament, God installed men like Moses, Noah, Joshua, Joseph, Abraham, David and many others. Before the Birth of Christ, God’s interaction were direct through His Divine Spirit and when the Bible makes reference that God walked with Adam, Adam was walking with Yeshua-Jesus who was there from the beginning. As we read in Colossians 1:15-20 NIV

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Notice in Verse 16 In Him (Jesus) all things were CREATED… in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Jesus is the “LINK” that keeps the circle from being broken… Without Jesus we are being drawn by a chain with a weak link. So where is the weakest link?  All that seeks the Power of God without His Son are approaching The Almighty without His ‘Password” it is like being locked out from your Email files because we do not remember the Password.  But Jesus is more than a Password, He is our Redeemer, and God loved us so much that He gave His only Son Jesus, so that whoever believes in Him (Jesus) should not die but have everlasting life… John 3:16

We must also know that… There is one God and one Mediator between God and men, The Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for us all… 1 Timothy 2: 5-6

Principle:

When we call on Him (Jesus) we have God’s Power through Jesus… For God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of Power and Love and a Sound Mind... 2 Timothy 1: 7

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Conclusion:

The Bible said... 1 John 4:8-9

New International Version (NIV)

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

Commentary: God in His infinite power of Light & Love, He revealed His love for us in the Divine Gift of His Son.  In Jesus Christ God came to us in the fullness of His Grace.  He came that we might receive His pardon by His Atonement for our sins, and save us from everlasting destruction.  One might say, how do we have the authority of making this statement of Everlasting Destruction?  Because we are simply repeating the Word of God, as He said we are Created in His Likeness, and He also said that it is appointed unto man to die and after that there is a Judgment… God is never wrong, and these two statements affirmed that we will live forever.

The Love of God found its fullest expression in the Cross, where the Lord Jesus bore the judgment for our sins, meaning that he stood in our place, and by His Crucifixion, He paid It All, and by His Blood of Atonement, we are able to receive His SEAL of Salvation.

Philippians 4: 6 (The Amplified New Testament)

Verse 6: Do not fret o have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition (a defined request) with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God.

Notice the key words are:

  • Do not fret
  • Every circumstance By Prayer & Petition With Thanksgiving
  • Continue your request to God

Give thanks to our Faithful Lord and Savior as He provides all our needs… as stated in: Philippians 4:19 New International Version (NIV) 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus it is with humility we acknowledge Your Sacrifice knowing that You art the Great Jehovah-Jireh…  Our Messiah and God in One of our Father in Your Holy Trinity.

Lord today we can come to You boldly as You gave us this privilege. Lord we acknowledge that You Ascended to the Throne of Righteousness sitting at the Right Hand of our Father Creator. Lord Jesus thank You for this privilege of coming into Your Holy presence.  Lord we thank You for Your Grace Your Love and Your Divine Redemption.  Lord bless this day as many will be assembled in Your houses of Worship, Lord let the message be clear and let many receive Your Salvation for Your Glory. Lord we thank You for the many Visitors and we ask Your blessings upon each one and we thank You for Your Favors to all. Thank You Lord as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for: Sunday April 26, 2015

Morning:

Focus: Praise God for His Mercies, Know Him, go to Him through Jesus our Redeemer and Sole Mediator, receive Him.

Principle:  Jesus is the Light of the World and His Kingdom - Forever

Text: John 1 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Deity of Jesus Christ

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Commentary:

One of the first creation… God said…”Let there be light and there was Light” but He did not yet created the Sun, there was a diffusion of Light in a Gaseous form, but God declared let there be Light and then He said it was Good…

If the Sun was not yet created what was the source of this Light?  We must first look at John 1. In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Now we see the Light that God Declared... ”Let there be Light” This will be revealed as we go to chapter 9… 9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Colossians 1: The Incomparable Christ

13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

His Creation is above man’s comprehension, as many are trying to bring the evolutionist theory into the school curriculum, our take on Evolution is; if evolution was a fact, then why is the ape that is in the Zoo for almost 35-40 years still sitting in his cage? If evolution was a fact, this old guy would be out driving around in his new Mercedes-Benz. Are we to assume that evolution is like the ‘Singing’ Frog, the story of the man excavating the foundation for a building that came across a box, he opened it and there was a Frog that started to sing like Al Jolson… so he figured he could make a lot of money by putting this Frog on stage, but each time he had a sold out theater, the frog would not sing, but right after refunding the patrons’ money, the Frog started to sing, he repeated this until he was broke, the moral of the store here, never believe in a Frog doing more than just croaking….  The same for the storyline of the evolutionists.

His Promise:

The good News are:

º We are created in His Likeness, and we will live forever.

º Christ died for our Sins

º He Rose Triumphantly

º He Ascended into Heaven

º He Sits on the Throne of Righteousness

º He is willing to forgive us of our sins

º If you come to Him and ask for forgiveness, He will give it

º Jesus Christ is our Mediator and our Sovereign God

º When we are saved, we receive an Eternal life of Joy in Him

º He is coming again

º All those that are still here will be caught up in the air to Him

º His Kingdom will be fully Sanctified and Sinless

º We will be reunited with our loved ones

His Faithfulness:

Creation is His painting with the beauty and wonder of it all

What kind of God would God be if he did not communicate with us?

So God speaks through His Word; the Word is Christ

God's enjoyment of what He was doing in creating the heavens & the earth. And us he said it was Good

God really made it all for man because He loved us

His great design was by intelligent design

The Christian doctrine of creation is that God made this all for us, as He gave us dominion over everything

We fail to appreciate his creation as He made it all for us, so thank Him for the majesty of His marvelous creation

We are privileged of being made in His likeness,

Principle: God delights in his creation

God placed us here to enjoy the worship of him and the intimacy of his love for us

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Prayer is the ‘Pillar of Faith’ and coming to our Lord many times each day will strengthen us against the temptation, and He will make a way for us to overcome the wiles of the devil. Praise our Lord Jesus for He said…”Greater is He in you that who is in this world’ meaning by His Spirit in You can do all things through Him, Christ Jesus.

Conclusion:

What is Man that our God is so concerned with our well-being? He created us, He numbered our days, and He also made a way for us to be in Eternity with Him.  Because the Eden Restored will be sinless and pure not because we are capable of being good on our own, He died for our sin, and He has prepared a ‘Sanctified’ Place which is Sinless and we humans will be Transformed, and be in a place of Splendor where our Eternal Sovereign God will radiate His Love and His Holy Spirit that will abide in us will in keep us in Harmony with our Lord.

Prayer:

Father we come today in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that You are the Light of the World, and that on the first day, as our Creator said…”Let there be light” and there was light, Lord we also read that our Creator did not create the Sun until the fourth day, so therefore Lord, it was Your Divine Radiance that illuminated the darkness. Lord we thank you for Your Love and we are privileged to serve You knowing that You are the same yesterday and forever. Lord bless our Visitors to this Website, grant Your Favors to all Lord, as we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen

Morning:

Focus: A Lifetime Warranty that will still runs out. But God’s Assurance will never end, it is forever!

He came so we may have Life and have it more abundantly

Text:  2 Corinthians 8:9 New King James Version (NKJV) 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

Commentary:

Jesus our Lord and Savior came to reconcile us to the Father our Creator, but before we can come to the Father we had to be cleansed by His Blood.  Soldiers returning from the frontline of battle were usually covered with blood sustained in battle, before going in front of the King they had to be cleaned up and made presentable. Mankind is in this state with stains from our sins. Therefore God will not see us in our sin filled state. Thus, Jesus came to Redeem us, ‘Redeem’ means we were lost in Sin, and by the Redemption through Jesus we who have accepted His Redemption can now come into the presence of God through Jesus.

The meaning of Christmas: meaning ‘CHRIST’ The Anointed One; Jesus son of the Most-High came as God with us! Emanuel, and CHRISTMAS… Meaning; CHRIST saving the Masses and Christ-in-Person… We thank You Lord for coming, Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Holy Trinity; we look for Your second coming soon.

We at Good News Forever extends the invitation from our Lord to each and everyone to come to Him and receive His divine Grace of Redemption… go to our Green Pastures page and accept our Lord’s invitation to come and ‘Know Him, not just ‘know of Him’  The divine experience of ‘Knowing our Lord’ will provide a Peace that is un-explainable as when you place your Faith in Jesus, He takes over your burdens, and he said He will never leave you nor forget you. When you accepts Jesus you are born into His family and then you are a joint-heir in His Kingdom, what a privilege He has given us freely… Take His Priceless gift now for ‘Free’.

Principle: Only in Jesus Christ we can be Redeemed… Jesus Paid-It-All

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Colossians 2:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV)

9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Titus 2:13-14 New King James Version (NKJV)

13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

We want to reflect on a few that left us with something to think about...

Some inventors of things that changed the way we do things are long forgotten, but the list of men mentioned here are widely recognized as standard bearers of the cross…

John Newton:       This slave-trader-turned-pastor significantly impacted the eighteenth century British campaign to abolish the African slave trade.

John Bunyan:        (28 November 1628 – 31 August 1688) was an English Christian writer and preacher, who is well known for his book The Pilgrim's Progress.

Saul of Tarsus:      Paul of Tarsus was a Jew who had Roman citizenship and tried to stamp out Christianity until he had a vision on the Road to Damascus.

C.S. Lewis:             A former Atheist who came to Christ, even today he is the most quoted person in Twitter®

The Inventor of the Internet® No it is not Al Gore (the former Vice President of the USA that once said he invented the Internet)…

KODAK® an American Icon that went bankrupt and emerged as a small service company, that also invented the Digital Camera but failed to exploit it as they continued to make Films using Chemical.   The list goes on of giants of industry that lack the vision of the focus that went on the list of forgotten ‘icons’.

Our Lord Jesus who said ‘Before Abraham was I Am” The Bible in multiple passages revealed that Jesus is the Creator of all things, and without Him there was nothing and He Jesus holds it altogether.  What do we mean that He holds it together?  The Universe and the elements are so designed that the Magnetic field and the precise location of the planet, the moon must be in sync.  The ‘Milky-Way’ and the billions of galaxies are all known to our Lord by name,

C.S. Lewis said... “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”

“To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you.”

Conclusion:

The Bible said... Philippians 1:6

New King James Version (NKJV)

6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

This assurance given by our Lord is better than the full faith and warranty of the United States Treasury, which is the dollar bill we may have in our pocket. The common saying for man, “There are two things we will face; ‘Death and Taxes’ this is according to man, but according to God He said…”It is appointed unto man to die once and then face the Judgment’, Notice in this sentence, The Lord said, to die one and then face the judgment?  God said to ‘Die’ but we will be around to face His Judgment, then what? Therefore, we never really die, meaning that the result of His Judgment could place us in to a lifetime of separation from God and suffering forever. But if we Know Jesus and accepted His Priceless Gift, then we are made Joint-Heirs in Christ to His Kingdom. We can have this absolute Assurance right Now!  So why not receive our Lord Jesus now and from henceforth be assured of being Saved by His Grace. Coming to our Lord must be for more than the one reason of saving yourself from eternal damnation, the second is God loves you and therefore you should love our Lord as He said…

Romans 5:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus today we stand at the empty cross knowing that You ascended unto the Throne of Righteousness and by Your Grace we are saved. Lord we thank You for coming and we thank You for Your Divine Redemption. Lord we are privileged to serve You Lord and we thank You for the many Visitors coming to read the Good News of Your Salvation. Lord thank you for Your Unconditional Love, as we are in awe that You would love us so much to have paid-It-All so that we can be redeemed from the eternal damnation that we deserve, Lord Your Love and Your Grace we accept. Lord we pray in Your Sovereign Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

His Faithfulness:

Yes you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

Morning:

Focus: Jesus…He is the Creator, Jesus the Redeemer, the Provider, and He is in the Restoration business, He restores us like new.

The recent sale of a Ferrari Car for $38 Million, was saved from the scrap heap and restored…

This particular car was the 19th 250 GTO to be built, and it's been in the one family's care for no fewer than 49 years from 1965 until now. It left Ferrari’s factory in September of 1962 and was delivered to its first owner, French racing driver Jo Schlesser, to be co-driven by himself and French ski Champion Henri Oreiller in the 1962 Tour de France. The pair challenged for victory and finished an honorable second overall.

The car was then crashed during a race at Montlhery Autodrome, just south of Paris, but was repaired and sold to gentleman driver Paolo Colombo the next year. It was then sold two more times, ending up in 1965 with Fabrizio Violati who said he saved the car from the scrapheap. Violati drove it right into the 2000s after which he chose to leave it in the hands of the Maranello Rosso Museum.

If you missed out on this 250 GTO and are itching to unload some serious money on a car, another 250 GTO is currently up for sale in Germany. It has an asking price of 47.6 million euros (approximately $62.7 million), including Germany’s 19 percent Value Added Tax, which, if someone buys it, will make it the most expensive car in the world.

The above restoration of a heap of metal realized $38 Million, what will any of us be worth before we are ‘Restored’?

The answer is $160… but you will be worth much more than that Ferrari car as there will be no Ferrari in heaven, and those ‘Restored’ by our Lord Jesus will be there while the ‘old-car’ is forever in the trash-heap.    The word Restored is mentioned 43 times in the New King James Bible.

Matthew 9:18

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord:

Heaven is Real… God is Real – Eden Restored, a Place of splendor filled with the presence of our Lord, a place of Joy… Joy is mentioned in the Bible 244 times.

You should not worry; the Bible clearly teaches that if we know Christ, we are safely in God's hands forever when we die, and that nothing "in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:39).

Text:      Romans 8: 28-39

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.

34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Ministry of Jesus was to reach sinners, and He met with them, dined and saved many… His message yesterday is the same today.

Luke 15:2

New International Version (NIV)

But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”

2 Corinthians 8:9

New International Version (NIV)

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

His Faithfulness:

As we look back to the day of His Crucifixion, Jesus died willingly, as He said…

53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? Matthew 26:53 New International Version (NIV)

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Romans 5:10 New International Version (NIV)

10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

Hebrews 12: 23-29 New International Version (NIV)

23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

Prayers:

Heavenly Father It is with Awe that we come knowing Jesus our Redeemer rose triumphantly and sits on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity of our Father and the Holy Spirit, we come today knowing that we serve You our Living God who is Lord of lords and King of kings and You Jesus our Messiah is our Salvation.  Lord today as we go forward in Faith, grant us Your Favors and equip us as we seek to serve You and are privileged to be a Vessel bearing your Word of Life. Lord bless the visitors coming to this website and let Your Peace be upon all, as all we do is for Your Glory. Morning:

Focus:  Jesus said “My Peace I give, and the Peace is not like what man give”, receive His Peace today it is ‘Priceless’

What do we have to look forward to? Jesus said he came that we may have life and have it ‘more’ abundantly.

So it is 70-80-90 or even a hundred years of a bountiful life?  If this was all we had to look forward to,

In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

John 14:3

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. In Context | Full Chapter

Hebrews 1 New King James Version (NKJV)

God’s Supreme Revelation

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

In the Bible there are many Parables and description of His Messages, example, the Vine and the Branches, The Lamb of God, and many others, but one of His most profound statement made publicly was when Jesus said in His Kingdom there are many Mansion, and: “IF” He go and prepare a place for “YOU” He will come and get you so that where He is You can also be… This is oftentimes taken as a ‘Security-Blanket’ and this is to be translated by the Context of “IF & “YOU”, why, because His statement was a conditional statement with a Caveat that IF You received Him and trusted in Faith, He would go and you would be a Beneficiary, on the flip side if you did not believe then He was not going on your behalf.

His Faithfulness:

Yes you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord:

We need to know that we cannot go to God unless through Jesus, why?  Because He is the Gatekeeper, and He is our Advocate (for those that know him). So if we do not know Him or turned away like the tribe of Judah when they were taken captive, the worshiping of Idols, anything, person or whatsoever other that Jesus is considered above Jesus Christ, will be considered as idols.

Buddha and Mohammed were spiritual leaders but they did not have a Triumphant Resurrection, they are in man-made boxes. Just like the idols they had to be nailed down so they do not topple over. Worshippers of idol had to ‘carry’ their stone gods, Jesus carries us, and He is our Hero.

The Bible teaches that when we receive Him (Jesus Christ) we are saved and He will never … let us be lost;

2 Timothy 1:7 New International Version (NIV)

7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

To know Christ… Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord today we Praise You and thank You Lord for Your Graciousness. Lord thank You for the privilege of serving You and having Visitors to our sites bearing Your Good Need for Your Glory. Lord we seek Your Divine guidance and we seek Your blessings on our Visitors and Lord let there be just one that will come to know You today as the angels will celebrate in heaven. Lord we pray for the needs of all as we know that in You we have Victory and all things work together for good as we love You Lord. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for: Wednesday April 22, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  God has a plan for you… Yes He knows you and He is calling. His plan is to prosper you.

Topic:  The Unending Love of Christ

Text: Romans 12:9-10 (NIV)

Love in Action

9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.

“Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:24

Commentary:   We are to have intimacy with Jesus, and to live by His precepts and teaching….If we desire to be in a faithful walk with our Lord, we are to come to Him not when we are in need but to have a constant relationship just like your ‘best friend’ that you Text and Email or call daily.

We are to know that His Holy Spirit give us ‘Power’ to overcome the evil forces and to rebuke the schemes of the devil by the Word of God… Just like when Jesus quoted Scriptures to ward off the devil that tempted our Lord. When we come to Jesus our High Priest, He intercedes to His Father our Creator, we are told to come to HIM boldly and make all petitions known with Thanksgiving in Prayer to our Lord Jesus.

No one is immune to temptation to sin, even Jesus was tempted but He remained Sinless, he used the scripture to thwart the temptation of the devil.

We too need the Two-edged Sword to thwart the temptation which is more than ever a blitz in lights, on the TV, the Internet, Print and music etc.  We have to look beyond the temporary pleasure that is abominable to our Lord.  We need to ask for His help in overcoming the urge.

Principle: Knowing that God loves us all, meaning we must be rooted in Love.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: 1 Timothy 1:14

The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

To be still and Know that He is GOD and Continue to work as He said the Harvest is great but the Workers are few...

EVENING:

The Difference of intellectually knowing my Lord or experientially knowing Him… Experience Christ by Living and Learning, Christ must be the Center of my/our Life;

James 2: 14-19

Faith and Deeds

14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”

Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that —and shudder.

By ignoring the Word, and not being Patient, He said “wait on the latter rain and endure the suffering” as He will never let us be Ashamed in Trusting in Him, and only when we try and shortcut His Plan in our lives we express these traits.

To Be still and Know that He is GOD and Continue to work as He said the Harvest is great but the Workers are few...

Conclusion:

To apply the principle of Matthew 23: 12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. And to remind my Brothers in their dedication of doing God’s work, He said… 1 Peter 5:  6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Coming to our Lord:

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." - John 13:34-35

1)  To remain un-shaken remain strong by His Established Love.

2) To be rooted and established in Christ’s Love,

3) To be filled with God’s Holy Spirit,

4) That one must be satisfied and complete in Him,

5) To move towards the full purpose that God intended for us,

6) Let the Power of His Holy Spirit work in us

1 John 4:19

We love Him because He first loved us.

Prayer: Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come to thank You for Your Graciousness,  Lord the message is loud and clear as You outlined in Your parable of the Vineyard and the Vine-growers.  Lord Your Grace is all we need as You have granted this to us. Lord today as we look back and reflected on Your love for even those that went against your will Lord, and yet You came and Paid-It-All so that whomsoever call upon You will be saved. Lord Jesus, let your message of Salvation be heard and let the hearers respond by calling so that many will be saved by Your Grace. Lord, we are privileged to serve You and to be a vessel bearing the Water of Life for Your Glory. Lord, bless our Visitors here today as we ask Your Favors to us all be released and we thank You for meeting our needs. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus for Yours are the Kingdom the Power and the Glory now and forevermore... Amen. .

Devotionals for: Tuesday April 21, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  Why do we have challenges in our daily lives? Is there a force that likes to impede our progress?

If you are experiencing challenging times and other difficulties in live, you may ask…If He loves me why am I in this state? I need a Job, I need money and I need to get a life.   This is the description of one that is not ‘Fully experiencing His Grace’ There are multiple reasons why we have challenges…

First we are disciplined by God, why” because He loves us, if He did not care then he would write you off and just say

TEXT:  Romans 1:28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Romans 1:27-29 (in Context) Romans 1 (Whole Chapter)

Because of His Unconditional Love, God provided a way for us to have Eternity with Him. The key factor here is; “With Him” why, because all things were created for HIM. Even us, but He gave us a Free-thinking mind’ and not as slaves.  The Scriptures said, God gave us a Sound Mind, with Power… 2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:6-8 (in Context) 2 Timothy 1 (Whole Chapter)

Now one may ask, why did God provide the ‘Tree of knowledge’?  Why, unless we knew the difference between good and evil, then we would be just like zombies… but we were created in His likeness, and this is why God gave us the Ten-Commandments, which is impossible for man to keep. If God knew that we could not keep these then why were they given? Because it is live knowing that at the end of the road, there is a steep drop-off over a cliff… unless there was a sign placed prominently warning us, we would just drive over the cliff.  But is we ignore this warning then what? We pay the consequences of being killed, but God loved us so much he provided a way for us to either take the warning and stop, but if we act stupid and go over, He also knew that our will power is weak, and when we fall, He provided a way for us to survive the fall, if we come to Him before we make impact.

There is no way we can buy insurance after the impact, but we can secure coverage before the impact.  His Grace also provided a way for us to accept Him while everyone will make that final impact and on that day those with His SEAL are ‘Wrapped in Grace’.

Principle:  Eden Restored will be a place like no other, as described in Revelations, its wall was like Jasper and like glass made of Gold…

Revelation 21:18

The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass.

Revelation 21:17-19 (in Context) Revelation 21 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

2 Corinthians 4:16-17 New International Version (NIV)

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

His Faithfulness:

Yes you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord:

John 6:53

New International Version (NIV)

53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

Commentary: These are the key words that we need to understand:

  • God                        : No one has ever seen God, except Jesus,
  • Incarnate              : Jesus is the Incarnate Son, who is God in One of His Holy Trinity
  • Trinity                    : This is the Triune of Father, Son and Holy Spirit
  • Remission             : To Re-Admit, because mankind was evicted from the Eden, we need to be readmitted
  • Redemption         : To Pay a price to be Redeemed, to ‘Buy-back’
  • Sacrifice                : Jesus made His Sacrifice to Redeem us by His Atoning Blood
  • Divine                    : ‘From God’
  • Forgiveness         :  No one can forgive ‘Sin’; Sin is an inherent ‘pre-condition’ that we inherited from Adam
  • Grace                     : The Grace of our Lord is what He offered us to be Redeemed
  • Holy Spirit            : The Power of His Holy Spirit will be an In-Dwelling Comforter when we accept Jesus
  • Eternity                 : A place where we will be, in one of two places
  • Damnation           : A Place where one is separated from God forever, and in a state of dying but never dead
  • Splendor               : A state in a place where Jesus described as ‘Paradise’

Cleansed by the Blood is an action of purification done by the High Priest before coming to God.  This is an old tradition done inside what is called the Inner-Sanctum of the Temple.  Jesus said “It-is Finished” and the dividing curtain (Wall) of the Temple was torn revealing Him as our ‘High-Priest’ why? Because His Blood was shed for all, and all that come to Him and accept Him; His Blood becomes His SEAL of Redemption, this is the ‘PAID-IN-FULL” Stamp that He purchased us and we are now aboard with Him and is Heaven bound.

Does this mean that because Jesus died and His blood was shed for us all, and by His action we are ‘automatically’ saved? NO! The parallel is: If someone comes to the door of your house and offer you a pot of Gold but you did not take it, so this person moves on, what happened? You just lost your opportunity.  While the Priceless Gift of Salvation through Jesus is free, unless you accept it you cannot possesses it.

You cannot earn it, purchase it or work your way to get it. It is only by His Grace that we can receive His gift, and it is only in Faith that you can come to Him.

This Easter as we commemorated the Crucifixion of Jesus ‘The Christ’ at Calvary, we need to know that Jesus was not a new kid on the block… This same Jesus is the Yeshua/Yahweh who walked with Adam in Eden. But He had to come to Redeem us as Adam sinned and this sin was transferred down to all that came after Adam.

Therefore, you me and everyone are descendants of this man Adam, but nothing surprised our God, and He made a provision for us to be redeemed. Why did God go to this extent to redeem us? Because we are His creation, and of all His creations, when He created Man, He said ‘This is good’ and he loved us, and he still loves us.

Prayers: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord because of Your Divine Grace we are saved and not of anything that we do. We than You Lord and we go with Your Peace knowing that You are the same yesterday, today and forevermore.  Lord we are privileged to bring Your Good News and we thank You for our Visitors as we ask Your Divine blessings upon all. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for: Wednesday April 15, 2015

Morning:

Focus: Who should you look up to today? Is it your boss, a person, your spouse, your children, your banker, or the Lord?

In ancient times the night was divided into 4 watches of three hours per watch… today’s world are we in the third or fourth watch? The 4thwatch would be the dawning hours, between 3 AM to 6 AM.

With turmoil in the world, there are people in regions that would like to just ‘wake-up’ to a new scene… a scene without threats, without terrorism, a scene without fear and be safe.

These are some of the ‘safest-cities’…

  • Singapore
  • Osaka
  • Tokyo
  • Stockholm
  • Hong Kong
  • Sydney
  • Zurich,
  • Toronto
  • Melbourne
  • New York is the only U.S. city to make the top 10.

What are they really ‘Safe’ from? And how safe are you right now where you are? We can be Safe when we know what the Lord said…  Are we on the 4th Watch?  The coming New Dawn… in a Place of Splendor; the Lord has endowed you with His Blessings, and He said if you ‘Diligently obey’ and ‘Observe-Carefully’ all His Commandments, His blessing shall ‘Overtake’ you.  The meaning of ‘Overtake’ is to ‘Overflow’ and Hiss Word never passes.

Deuteronomy 28 New King James Version (NKJV)

Blessings on Obedience

28 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:

3 “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.

4 “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

5 “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

6 “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

7 “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

8 “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

9 “The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. 10 Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. 11 And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. 12 The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. 14 So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord:

Recap of the Lord’s Promises:

If you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways...

  1. You will be called by the name of the Lord,
  2. Your enemy shall be afraid of you
  3. The Lord will grant you plenty of goods and fruit of your body
  4. You will have increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground
  5. You will own the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you
  6. The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens
  7. The Lord will give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand
  8. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow
  9. And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail
  10. And you shall be above only, and not be beneath,
  11. If you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. 14 So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Let us choose to keep His commandments and follow His teaching… Give The Lord the Preeminence, He is above all, God ‘IS”

TEXT: Matthew 6:33-34New King James Version (NKJV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

His Faithfulness:

Yes you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

Prayers:

Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Lord and Savior I come.  Lord Jesus today as we Honor You, we thank You for Your Unconditional Love and we go in Faith knowing that You Lord Jesus is our Redeemer and all are from You Lord and we know that all are Yours as we are entrusted by You Lord let us be good-stewards for Your Glory.  Lord be with our Visitors and grant Your Divine Providence to all, because in You Lord Jesus all things are possible, we thank You Lord for Your Graciousness and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Think on this today:

Because Jesus said, He came that we may have an abundant life and have it 'more' abundantly... why did Jesus said 'more' in describing 'Abundant'? Because He has prepared a way for each of us to have a 'Double-Portion' and His double-portion is an eternal life in Him.

Morning:

Focus: Who will you please today? Is it Yourself, Man or God? Choose God and you yourself will be pleased.

Prayer is the cornerstone of our Faith…“You can’t afford to miss the most IMPORTANT Appointment of the Day”

Theme:  Pray for all our Christian Brothers and Sisters all in Oneness in Christ, especially those that are leading others, just like how Paul asked to be prayed for, we must pray for those that are ambassadors for Christ as the devil is on the prowl, and has done a lot of damage, but our Lord is in charge and the evil one will be banished.

Text:      Ephesians 6:18

New International Version (NIV)

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Commentary:

Praying to the Lord is the Most-Important Meeting we can have in our daily lives…

All other things we do are secondary, as only our Lord can Divinely prepare us for the day, He can smooth our tasks, inspire us, give us His Blessings, and by His Grace we can cope with all aspects of life’s responsibilities.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him (Jesus) that if we ask anything according to His will. He will hear us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.  From: 1 John 5: 14-15 NKJV

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundant above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.  from Ephesians 3:20 NKJV  When we serve others by spreading the Good News, we are sprinkling the Fragrance of our Lord Jesus, and we also get the sweet smelling fragrance on ourselves… meaning that we are privileged to be a Vessel bearing the sweet smell of our Lord and Redeemer, and while we spread His Fragrance our Lord also blesses us with His Grace…2 Corinthians 2:15  New King James Version (NKJV) 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 4-10  But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ JesusFor it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Jew and Gentile Reconciled Through Christ

His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 3:

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Action:

Ephesians 3:

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.   20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen

EVENING:

 Coming to our Lord:

Ephesians 6: 1. We face the power of darkness, 2 the spiritual forces of evil, so we must have the Armor of our Lord and 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:17 NKJV

Comments: We have to be vigilant as the bible said, that the evil one is lurking like a lion seeking those he can devour, so, we must....

Ephesians 4: 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness

Devotionals for: Monday April 12, 2015

Morning:

Focus: What are your plans for this week? Are you going on Big-Money Blvd or; on Happy Lane? How about PEACE Place?

PEACE Place is somewhere where the Spirit of the Lord dwells. This is right where He is when you invite Him to come in.  God will never intrude on you, He said He is standing at the door and knocking, and if you open it, He will come in and sup with you.

Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. In Context | Full Chapter |

The ‘Big-Money’ Boulevard of life overshadows Happy Lane, because the Lane is a ‘Narrow’ pathway to real Peace.

Matthew 7:13-14 [Full Chapter]

[The Narrow Way] “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 16:33

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 20:19

[The Apostles Commissioned] Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 20:21

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” In Context | Full Chapter

EVENING:

TEXT: Luke 13: The Narrow Way (Jesus teaching)

22 And He went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.23 Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?”

And He said to them, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ 26 then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ 27 But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’ 28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out. 29 They will come from the east and the west, from the north and the south, and sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And indeed there are last who will be first, and there are first who will be last.”

His Faithfulness:

Yes you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

Coming to the Lord:

Because we are saved by Grace we are all equal and no one has any superiority over any other… as in His Kingdom, there will be no ‘Super-Christians’. Without His Grace nothing we do can take us there. So with the knowledge that we are ‘Redeemed’ by Grace we can be assured that in God’s Kingdom, there will be no ‘keeping up with the Jones’ or one driving around in a better high-end vehicle, shopping in designer store as Gold will be considered construction material.  What a place that our Lord has prepared for us, a place that we cannot imagine the beauty as it is all centered on The Throne of our Lord Jesus.

1 Corinthians 2: But as it is written:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”[

Good News -His Faithfulness:

The Gospel is the Good News and the Gospel is not an invitation it is a command to come to Him.

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Prayer: Heavenly Father as we reflect on the teaching our Jesus our Lord and Savior we are privileged to bring the Good News. Lord Jesus as You have said the Kingdom is at hand and we affirm that you Lord Jesus is the King of the Kingdom as You are on the Throne of Righteousness sitting at the Right-Hand of God the Father.  Lord Jesus we thank You for coming and by Your Divine Redemption we can look to that day when we shall see You Lord, because You said where You are all those known by You shall be with You in a place of splendor.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask that Your blessings will be upon us all as we go in Faith knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to you is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Morning:

Focus: His Grace is undeserved, yet He freely gives us His Grace because of His Unconditional Love. Receive Him and know Him so that you will be set-aside for that day when He will say ‘Welcome-Home’

Jesus said… He did not come to destroy the Law, He came to fulfil the Prophecy.

Many think that the Old Testament is just what it is called…”OLD” but as said, you cannot skip the beginning of a good book by just reading the ending.

So we reflect on… John 3:14

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, In Context | Full Chapter |

Moses when told by God to make a ‘Bronze-Snake’ Moses just followed God’s instruction, he did not question the commandment of not to have any idols…

Moses never disputed the instruction of God, even though just a short time ago God gave His explicit order of…  ‘You shall not make idols for yourselves; neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves; nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the Lord your God. Leviticus 26:1  In Context | Full Chapter

Number 21: The Bronze Serpent

Then they journeyed from Mount Hor by the Way of the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; and the soul of the people became very discouraged on the way. And the people spoke against God and against Moses: “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread.” So the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.” So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

The Key overriding factor why Moses just followed the instruction, because Moses knew God and God already told him… for I am the Lord your God

So when we have question, queries, conflicting messages and what many like to refer to as contradictory passages in the Bible… God is God and He can do whatever He wants, and His mercies extends to us through the most beloved verse…

John 3:16New King James Version (NKJV)

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Acknowledging that no part of the Bible contradicts any of the actions of God, we must realize that the scripture above… For God so loved the world (His Creation) that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

This was God’s edict that cancelled His statement… Genesis 2:17

but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Praise Him for His Mercies…

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord:

Hebrews 11 New King James Version (NKJV)

By Faith We Understand

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

Faith at the Dawn of History

By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.

By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; [a] for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

Trust and Obey… this is all our Lord wants us to do…

Hebrews 11:6 [Full Chapter]

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Prayers:  Heavenly Father we come in Faith knowing our Lord Jesus is our Mediator to You Father… Lord Jesus as You said Faith can move mountain… and the mountain in our lives are the temptation of this world that is a Broadway to utter darkness. Lord You have illuminated the way to You Lord; be with our Visitors as we present You as the Light of the World, and by the eternal flame described by You Lord. Lord because of Your great Salvation of Your Redemption and Your Triumphant Resurrection we can by Your Grace be in Victory in You Lord Jesus.   Lord Jesus as we acknowledge Your Sovereign power sitting on the Throne of Righteousness at the Right-Hand of our Father and Creator. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus as our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forevermore… Amen.

Morning:

Focus: So much to give thanks for…Always smiling even in pain, always going to the Lord and recognizing His Faithfulness…

After discovering that she had stage four Lymphoma my beloved wife of almost 50 years who never experienced any illness in her lifetime, she received the news with courage.  For two years we spent each day going to The Lord in prayers, I often time wondered why she never said Amen when I did, but I later learned that she was still in prayers to The Lord.

I was given the best gift I could ever receive as she once said “One day you will know everything about me” that day came on the day of her going home to The Lord, I found her journal by her side, a personal diary of 15 years of her daily prayers written to Jesus her Lord and Savior…  I saw the Peace of The Lord that she received, even to the moment of her leaving, we were in prayers and as I said Amen, she was not responding, I called the nurse and she took her pulse and said ‘She’s gone’.  The day before going home to The Lord, she said….”you know The Lord answers prayers”, this statement gave me the courage to face the moment of her leaving me, knowing that she knew where she was headed.

“The Lord answers Prayers”… as told to me a few days before going home to Jesus…

TEXT: 1 Thessalonians 5: 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.

Blessing and Admonition

23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

His Faithfulness:

Yes you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

[Christ in Our Place] For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8 NKJV

EVENING: Coming to the Lord:

: 2 Corinthians 2:14-3:5 New King James Version (NKJV)

14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? 17 For we are not, as so many, [a] peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

Commentary: The love of God a hymn written in 1917...

The love of God is greater far

Than tongue or pen can ever tell;

It goes beyond the highest star,

And reaches to the lowest hell;

The guilty pair, bowed down with care,

God gave His Son to win;

His erring child He reconciled,

And pardoned from his sin.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

The Bible teaches that when we receive Him (Jesus Christ) we are saved and He will never … let us be lost;

2 Timothy 1:7 New International Version (NIV)

7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Morning:

Focus:  The size of a mustard-seed is like this (.) dot.  Jesus used this as an example of how little our faith can be…

Just imagine the size of a pin head, Jesus said if we had faith like the size of a mustard-seed we could move mountains…

The myth that we only use 10% of our brain continues…if this was true, then why a ‘minor’ stroke does causes such deliberating disabilities?  The Brain = about 3 lbs. contrary to the myth it is believe that we use 100% of our Brain.

The difference in Brain size between male and female are shown by a recent study…  men's weighed an average of 1,378g (3lb), compared with 1,248g (2.75lb) for women. These size differences have been found repeatedly, but they emerge only when comparing large numbers of people, so some women's brains are larger than the average whereas some men's are smaller. These differences partly reflect the fact that men are generally bigger and taller than women. The differences in intelligence are not measured by brain weight.

When we speak of Faith… we speak of an intangible substance, but without Faith you cannot please God… Being optimistic require that you have some degree of faith.  To ‘Believe’ if also requires that one must have ‘Faith’.

The old adage of ‘Trust is good but control is better’ a quote from the man who lost total control… Vladimir Lenin. Lenin never really had control, his concept of control was by a revolutionary process.  If you have to whip the dog to keep him under control, you really do not have control, you a ‘forcing’ the animal to obey; therefore there isn’t any trust, it is just by force, in the end that same animal will turn and bite you, just as the people toppled Lenin’s statues as they disliked him.

Jesus never applied any ‘force’ He applied love, He applied Providence, and above all He applied His Divine Sacrifice for our sins.

Today we will highlight… Time is one thing we can never re-use, so let us not waste it, and come to the Lord now!

As someone said life is like a ‘Coin’ you can spend it anyway you like, but you can only spend it ‘Once;

TEXT:
2 Corinthians 6:2

For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. In Context | Full Chapter |

His Faithfulness:

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord:

If someone asks, what do I do?  I am in the ‘preparation’ department.  All sectors of our undertakings are done with a cause, and the cause it to bring the Good News to others.

Hebrews 4 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Promise of Rest

Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them,[a] not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:

“So I swore in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest,’”[b]

although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; [c] and again in this place: “They shall not enter My rest.”[d]

Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, again He designates a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” after such a long time, as it has been said:

“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts.”[
e]

For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

The Word Discovers Our Condition

11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Our Compassionate High Priest

14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in allpoints tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Prayers: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we thank You for Your Grace Your Divine Redemption and Your Unconditional love. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Favors as we go in Faith knowing that on that day we shall all see You Lord as You are. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for: Thursday April 9, 2015

Morning:

Focus:    So Where is Jesus? He is right where you will find Him if you know Him.

Many scoffers have said, I have been hearing of Jesus’ return and where is He? To many that do not have a personal relationship with Him and are waiting for His return, it is like going out to the airport looking to meet a celebrity that do not know you nor do you have any idea if you will be allowed to meet him, because you have never had any prior contact with him.

We say you will find Him if you know Him.  We often times spoke of; to know of someone versus to know the person.  Jesus said ‘Come unto to me” He also said “you are no longer servant, you are my friends”

TEXT: John 15:15

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

His Faithfulness:

Yes! You can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

John 1:48

Nathanael said to Him, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” In Context | Full Chapter

Here we read about someone (Nathanael) saying…

John 1:

Philip and Nathanael

43 The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, “Follow Me.” 44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

46 And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”

Philip said to him, “Come and see.”

47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”

48 Nathanael said to Him, “How do you know me?”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

49 Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

50 Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter[j] you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

In the text above what Nathanael said “can anything good come out of Nazareth?” in reality we are all like Nathanael, even the scoffers that said I have been hearing of Jesus’ return, where is He?

The Word of Jesus never fails, so when Jesus told Nathanael “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter[j] you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord:

None of us have seen heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man… but our God is Real, and the Scripture said He is supreme and Preeminent.

So if anyone have ever experience the divine intervention of the Lord, it is almost as real as the angels ascending and descending to guide you in what is what could be called a ‘hopeless-situation’.

One of my ‘hopeless-situation’ is while flying as a passenger I looked to the right and saw a commercial airplane coming straight at us that would tee-bone us, this was so close I could see the pilot face, in a split-second our plane took a nose dive and the oncoming place whizzed by missing us by inches…  Here I am to write about this.

The Faithfulness of the Lord:

What’s the Bible all about:

  1. It is a Book about God;  In Genesis it documents the Creation of all things by God
  2. It’s a book about Jesus, He is the center of it all, In Isaiah the prophecy of Jesus was foretold 700 years before Christ was born.
  3. It’s a Book about Salvation: It is the Word of God, which is sharper than a two-edged sword.
  4. It’s a book about us:  God so loved us that he sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins. The Bible focus on us, and chronologically document the life and times of mankind.
  5. It’s a Book about today: The Bible is full of Prophecies that are being realized during our time, and today we can read the Bible and it is as contemporary within the hour and foretells the future that are unfolding before our eyes.

Reflecting on the following:

  1. We were created in the likeness of God
  2. We will live forever
  3. The Bible Said… It is appointed unto to man once to die, then the Judgment, therefore we do not die, but future is determined by God on the day of His Judgment
  4. He said come unto to Him all who are wary and He will give us rest
  5. Whosoever call upon His name shall be saved.
  6. Those that He called, He Predestined to become Sons of God…

Hebrews 9:15
For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
Hebrews 9:14-16 (in Context) Hebrews 9 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus knowing that You are God in One of our Father and Creator, we come and thank You for Your Saving Grace, and in Faith we accept Your Good News of Your Salvation. Lord Jesus thank You for coming and by Your Blood shed for us at Calvary, we are saved with Your Seal of Salvation. Thank You Lord for Your Grace as we look to You for Your Holy Spirit to guide us in this challenging world that You have conquered, Lord we Praise You knowing that ”The Best is Yet to Come” for those in Christ as You have said, where You are so shall those in Faith knowing You shall be. We Praise You for Your Supremacy and Majesty Jesus, Messiah our Eternal Sovereign God, to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…Amen.

Devotionals for: Wednesday April 8, 2015

Morning:

Focus:    Are we preparing for take-off or for a landing?  When the trumpet is sounded it will be a ‘Lift-off’…

If your mode is landing where is your destination? Recently there was a discussion among a group of businessmen, and one person said he did not believe in the ‘hereafter’ and this place where we are is his final destination.

Unfortunately if this place is all that we have to look forward to, then why worry about tomorrow?  Why complete the business plan to launch the next big project?  Why not just rob the bank, as you will not have any consequence as sin is not a consideration in doing ‘whatever’.

Fortunately Jesus said to the repentant thief… Today you will be with me in Paradise.

Life experience now accounts for a portion of your credits in gaining a degree… University of Wisconsin offers a program that let you be self-paced, competency-based UW Flexible Option lets busy adult learners make the most of their existing skills and knowledge. If you know it and can show it, you can use it to earn credit toward a UW degree or certificate. —University of Wisconsin System President Ray Cross.

Is your life-experience something you can ‘show’ and can you use it to earn credit toward a degree?  If so this is a worthwhile program for self-improvement life management focus.

In the heavenly realms, we do not have to ‘qualify’ or possess skills that will enable us to gain access to God’s Kingdom…  The thief on the cross did not have to show his skills, all he had to do was to have a repentant heart.

So reflecting on our destination, let’s make it to a place of splendor, a place that He described as Paradise.

The Deity of Jesus Christ

John 1 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

His Faithfulness:

EVENING:

The same for the storyline of the evolutionists

Coming to the Lord:

When boarding an Airplane first-class passengers are boarded first.  In Heavenly realms, the same applies.  Because there will be a rapture where those in Christ will be taken up to be with Him first. This is an event that precedes the final ‘Day of the Lord’ which will follow the ‘Rapture’. This second period will be the time of tribulation.

In the Eyes of God, all believers are equal; no one is greater than any other. Our Lord shows no preference.  You are equally bought with His Blood of Atonement.  You have His Grace and you are an Heir with Jesus to His Kingdom.  Yes all those that know Him can claim this in His Holy Name. What a Privilege He gave us.

Beware that there will be no ‘Coach’ passengers, all in Christ are all ‘First-Class ‘ there are no class system, there will be no Catholics, Presbyterians, Baptist, Methodist, Lutherans or others, only one class… Born-Again just as how Jesus told Nicodemus “You must be born-again”.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity we come. Lord Jesus as we stand before the empty cross Lord, we acknowledge that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and Interceding for us Lord. Thank You Lord Jesus for Your Grace and Your Priceless Gift of Redemption.  Thank You Lord for the opportunity of serving You Lord; and thank You for our Visitors, grants us all Your blessings this day and let it be a day filled with your Peace as we ask Your favors to our Visitors. Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for: Tuesday April 7, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  He rode a donkey but He left earth by Levitation to Heaven…

Faster than the speed of light… Yes, we all have this ability when we know Him…  Jesus spoke of Faith…

The Quantum Physic in our brain is the portion connected to our optic nerves when linked to the Power of Faith this is what Jesus said… All things are possible;

TEXT: Matthew 17:20

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Matthew 17:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 17 (Whole Chapter)

Imagine that our Lord said, if we have Faith as a Mustard seed, nothing will be impossible.  Just think if man knew how to apply the full power of Faith as described by Jesus, man would not be able to contain this power against his fellow men… but our Lord did make the power of Faith available to each of us, this is the Faith “in-HIM’ and as we trust in Him, and His Word said we will have Life-Everlasting, then at the right time, when life ceases on earth for us, the power of Faith is super-naturally released allowing all believers to transition to Him in the twinkling of an eye.

Prayer is the pillar of our faith and we are strengthen by coming to our Lord.  Knowing that Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God is One in His Holy Trinity of His father, our Creator and His Holy Spirit, will do miracles in our lives….

Prayer is a divine way of communicating with our Father, knowing that we pray to our Father our Creator through Jesus our Mediator who intercedes on our behalf as Jesus is our High Priest and as our Sovereign God in one of Father, Son and Holy Spirit; because HE said no one comes to the father unless through Him…. While we pray without any man-made device, this is a super-natural event that we can acknowledge by our Lord’s promise that He would send His Holy Spirit to be with us.  When we walk and seek our Lord, we are always guided through the shadow of the Valley of death, fear and turmoil of this world, knowing that His Shadow of Mercies is always close to those that seek our Lord.

We are to boldly come to our Lord knowing that He said we are to do this as He said…

John 14:6 (New King James Version (NKJV)

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”.

As we read in John 14:16, Our Lord Jesus the Son of God; said He will intercede to His Father on our behalf… Jesus Son of God prays to His Father to send us another advocate (His Holy Spirit) The Holy Spirit He sends will be with us forever.

We are also reminded in 1 Timothy 2 ‘Instructions on Worship’

1. I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people –

2. for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

3. This is good, and pleases God our Savior,

4: who wants all people to be saved and to come to knowledge of the Truth.

5: For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,

6: who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

Therefore; ‘Let us hold unswervingly to the Hope we profess, for He who promised (Jesus) is Faithful. "I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee."  Isaiah 44:22 KJV

Philippians 4:4-6 (21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

 4. Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, "Rejoice!"

5. Let your moderation be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

6 Fret not about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God.

EVENING:

When we have received the Favor of our Lord as He is Faithful and will grant us our request when we ask in faith, we are to pray with Thanksgiving and to use His provisions for the purpose and not turn away when we have been delivered, you are to continue to seek Him and give Him the Glory.

His Faithfulness:

When you have had great deliverances out of troubles and turmoil, remember to say…, "I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." And supplied all I have needed because our Lord is Faithful… Praise Our Lord Jesus who sits on the Throne of Righteousness.  www.goodnewsforever.org

Coming to the Lord:

1 Peter 1:8-9 New International Version (NIV)

8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9. For you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

1 Peter 2

2 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.

Psalm 51:12 New International Version (NIV)

12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Conclusion:

Is anyone facing the need for His Supplication? Money, Loneliness, Family’s faith, Concerns for our future & seeking a closer walk with the Lord? All the answers lie in Jesus our Redeemer, as He knows what we have need of; all we have to do is ‘ASK’ in HIS Name…

John 16: 24 New International Version (NIV)

24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Jesus said in Faith ASK, and Ask in His Name with Thanksgiving, believing you will be receiving your petition…

1 Peter 5:7 New International Version (NIV)

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Prayers: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign eternal God in One of the Father in Your Holy Trinity, Lord we Praise You and give You our all as we are privileged to serve You Lord. Lord bless this day as we look to You in Faith and thank You for the visitors coming to this Good News site for Your Glory. Lord bless all who call upon Your name, and in Your Name we Ask, in Your Name we Seek and in You we have Victory Lord Jesus. Father through the Redemption by our Lord Jesus, we are blessed and privileged to be in Your Holy Presence through Jesus, as we acknowledge that no one comes to You unless in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  Lord direct our pathway and lead us to Green Pastures and the Water of Life.  Lord You are the Living Water that we shall never thirst as we come to You and Pray these in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus as we pray for restoration by Your Renewal of our Faith…to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Focus:  Modern weapons still cannot compare to what God gave the Israelites for the wall of Jericho

All the talk of Nuclear weapons, Iran, Saudi Arabia, North Korea and others, nothing compares to what God gave the Israelites in conquering Jericho.  The ‘Trojan-Horse’ was not a weapon but it was an ingenious decoy that made the invasion possible.

As Albert Einstein said…  Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, by Albert Einstein.

The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting. Sun Tzu (Author of the Art of War)

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

The Battle is the Lord’s …

TEXT: 1 Samuel 17:47

Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.” In Context | Full Chapter

His Faithfulness:

Jeremiah 29:10-12 New King James Version (NKJV)

10 For thus says the Lord: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place. 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

EVENING:

Coming to The Lord:

The Good News aside from the doom and gloom news… no one knows God’s plan and even during the 70 years of the Israelites being in bondage in Babylon, there was a Persian (Iranian) king named Cyrus that brought them out of captivity. So even if Iran continues with its nuclear program, there could be a new King Cyrus that will befriend Israel. So let us also know that God said… Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue whichrises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

The Good News: What is the Good News? The Good News of all time, regardless of History, factually it is the Greatest News ever in History.  This is the Good News 2,015 Years Ago, the Angel of the Lord came and said…

"Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."

Text:  Colossians 1:  15- 18 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Commentary:

Can you recall the last Good News you heard?  If you are a Pre-Baby Boomer then the end of the war would be good news to you, and for Baby Boomers the end of Vietnam conflict. But these ‘Good-News’ were just temporary as one ended then another started, and right now there are ‘Wars’ and ‘Conflicts’ ranging all over the globe.  What is the chief reason for conflicts? The word is ‘Human’, and all wars should be re-named Human Conflicts.

So let us spread the Real Good News Today… our Redeemer Lives!

Remember Jesus said…” I am not of this world’”

John 8:23
And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 8:22-24 (in Context) John 8 (Whole Chapter)

Our Lord also described His Kingdom as ‘Paradise’  This is the Key Element of His Good News, but now the Chief Factor of His Good News… The Chief Factor of His Good News is… He came to give Life and for us to have it more Abundantly…

John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:9-11 (in Context) John 10 (Whole Chapter)

Principle:

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 1:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Come to our Lord today as He knew you even before you were born, and in Jesus you will be complete.

Philippians 1:6 New King James Version (NKJV)

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ

Conclusion:

Faith is one of the most intangible elements… but Jesus said; ‘If we have Faith like a Mustard Seed, we can move mountains… Matthew 17:20

Prayer: Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus in awe we come knowing that all things were created by You as The Father Spoke and You acted in His Holy Spirit. Lord today we come to You seeking Your Divine Blessings and Your guidance, as we say that Your Hands are ‘Over’ us, and not just in what we do, as You Lord do not need help, so we place all things in Your Hands and look to You knowing that all things are possible for those who trust in You Lord. Lord Your Unconditional love abounds in what You have created for mankind, Lord today let us be good-stewards of Your mission and bless our Visitors coming to this Website. We pray in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus, to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Praise: short sermon:       https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6twEXynopo

Special request:  Please refer a friend to visit this site. You will be helping to spread the Good News of our Lord and the angels will celebrate with joy for every sinner that comes to our Lord Jesus…. Praise God that you have this privilege today. God Bless you.

Devotion for Sunday April 5, 2015

Topic: HE IS RISEN!  ….

Text:  Matthew 28:6, Mark 16:6.  Luke 24: 5, John 20: 1 All these Scriptures testify to the Risen Savior

Commentary: READ ABOUT HIS RESURRECTION: This is an event that has never been repeated, and as we read that Jesus who is “The Great I AM” that rose Triumphantly, and because He is Risen, we shall also Live as we are made in His Likeness.

OK, now that He is Risen… What or why do I have to be aware of this?

1. Because He Died in our place by His Blood as a Sacrifice for us. 2. If we come to Him and repent of our Sin, He is Faithful and Just to forgive us our Sin, then you may say, so what? I know I am a Sinner and I need to have Forgiveness, but how will this stop me from committing any more sin as so many things are around to attract me and lure me into future Sin. Yes this is true, but we need to know if we genuinely repented of our sin and come to Christ and in Faith Accepts Him as our Lord and Savior, He will Redeem us, and His Redemption is forever. We need to be aware that even when we are saved by Jesus we are still a sinner as it is only by His Divine Grace that is now SEALED by HIS BLOOD, this seal can never be removed, but we must live in Faith and not be ignorant to continue in our sinful way… but we are human and are not able to save ourselves, so He provided a way for us to overcome the temptation;

Many of us will say I did not need this, why? Many may not feel that they are sinners, because one may say, “I live a good life, I do not steal, I am faithful and I even attend church or Temple of even a Mosque. And I saw no reason why Jesus had to die for me.  You may recall that God created Adam and Eve, and when they went against God’s command, this was the first sin against God, and all of us are descendants from Adam, no; we did not evolve from a primate, God created Man and Woman, and this is where it all began.

Read about the event that took place when Jesus said “It Is Finished” This is important to us in modern times…

1.       The Curtain (The Veil) of the Temple was Torn…

2.       The Sun went dark for Three (3) Hours, this was Noon until 3 PM; this event never repeated it self as this would be sheer panic in places like Manhattan , NY or Paris or any major cities.

The Temple Veil was torn as Jesus became the High-Priest and the Veil of the Temple that separated the Inner Tabernacle where the Priest performed his Blood Sacrifice was replaced by Jesus who Ascended to the Throne of Righteousness where He (Jesus) intercedes on our behalf to God our Father, remember, No one comes to the Father unless through Jesus His Son, who is God in One of His Holy Trinity.

Luke 24: 13-35 On the Road to Emmaus

13 Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. 14 They were talking with each other about everything that had happened. 15 As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them; 16 but they were kept from recognizing him.

17 He asked them, “What are you discussing together as you walk along?” They stood still, their faces downcast. 18 One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, “Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?”

19 “What things?” he asked. “About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. 20 The chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; 21 but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place.22 In addition, some of our women amazed us. They went to the tomb early this morning23 but didn’t find his body. They came and told us that they had seen a vision of angels, who said he was alive. 24 Then some of our companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but they did not see Jesus.”

25 He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?”27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.

28 As they approached the village to which they were going, Jesus continued on as if he were going farther. 29 But they urged him strongly, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening; the day is almost over.” So he went in to stay with them.

30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. 32 They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”

33 They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, assembled together 34 and saying, “It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.” 35 Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when he broke the bread.

Conclusion: Our Lord Jesus was placed among the sinners, condemned to death with sinners.  This was no accident, this was God’s provision that Jesus His Son would come to earth and be the Sacrificial Lamb for our sins.  Why did Jesus had to die, we spoke about the Lamb and the blood on the door posts during the Passover of the angel of death in Egypt.  These events in the Bible are not stories to be told as historical events, they are all part of God’s plan for our lives, in fact our Living ‘Being’ our SOUL that lives on.

Therefore, Jesus’ dying on the cross is the parallel of the Sacrificial Lamb at the Passover that saved the first born of His people.  The Blood of Jesus that was shed at Calvary is His ‘SEAL’ that we receive when we receive Him as our Redeemer.  Jesus our Redeemer was no mere man, He is God incarnate, and He is Lord of all… you may say I do not need a Lord, I am independent, I have all of what I need, let’s see on that day when you face mortality (which is any day, today, tomorrow or whenever) let’s see how independent you will be as life’s challenges set in, no one is immune to and all are destined to face Him….  What is man? The bible asked, why would God consider us?  Because He created us and when He did, He blessed us… all other creation He said this is good, but for Man He blessed… So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them;   male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Genesis 1: 27:-28

The Bible said… Hebrews 2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? Or the son of man that thou visitest him? Hebrews 2:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 2 (Whole Chapter)

Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of His Holy Trinity loves us so much that He did this for us.  As we said regardless of whom you are, every knee shall bow to Him, He did not come to enslave us, He came that we may have life and have it more abundantly. In Him we have Victory, as we celebrate Resurrection Day…  Praise Him, come to Him and know our Jesus for He is Mighty to save and he loves you and is waiting to place His Grace on you. Accept His Priceless Gift, this will never be repeated as he died Once, and it is appointed unto man… Once to Die but thereafter we must face His judgment, so if we will be around after we die to face the judgment, then we really never die.  So accept His and having His Assurance of Life-Everlasting as He Lives and so will us in Christ.

Prayer: Father Words cannot express what Jesus our Redeemer, our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity did for us. Lord today as we Praise You and know that You are on the Throne of Righteousness, Your unconditional love for us overwhelms us as You Paid-It-All… Lord we receive Your Divine Grace and place all in Your Holy hands, Lord we dedicate ourselves to You Lord that You will increase and we shall decrease as You are Pre-Eminent and all things are held together by You and without You Lord Jesus nothing was made. We commit this day to you Lord. Be with us and especially our Visitors that Your Priceless Gift will be received by many. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to you are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for: Saturday April 4, 2015

Morning:

Focus: What a formidable task Moses had leading millions and yet Moses compiled and wrote the first five books of the Bible… What we learn from the journey to the promised-land was an ‘Internship’ for the Israelites, and even today the Nation of Israel is undergoing attacks from those against Jews.

Over the 40 years of leaving Egypt for Canaan which is just under 300 miles, the journey was prolonged by their lack of faith. God intervened with care and instructions, God did not dictate, He led them by a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night…

Today we are still in the wilderness, we may not be in the valley of the Sinai but we are scattered globally, you may be in America, China/Asia, Europe, Latin America or Africa, the forces of evil is always present. But greater is He who is in us then them…

TEXT: Nehemiah 9:19

Yet in Your manifold mercies You did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of the cloud did not depart from them by day, To lead them on the road; Nor the pillar of fire by night, To show them light, And the way they should go. In Context | Full Chapter |

History continues to repeat itself, the talks with Iran about their quest to build nuclear power or a nuclear bomb continues. Man’s power is self-proclaimed, and today we have Christians being killed and threats against the nation of Israel.  In history king Cyrus a Persian ruler helped the nation of Israel freeing them from captivity in Babylon… but Iran today may be going the way of king Nebuchadnezzar, that will undo the good they have done for the nation of Israel.

2 Chronicles 36:22–23

The Proclamation of Cyrus

22 nNow in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, othat the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, pthe Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and also put it in writing: 23 “Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever is among you of all his people, may the Lord his God be with him. Let him go up.’ ”

But there is a time when the Lord shall remove His blessings like he did to king Nebuchadnezzar… Daniel 4: Nebuchadnezzar’s Humiliation

28 All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar. 29 At the end of the twelve months he was walking about the royal palace of Babylon. 30 The king spoke, saying, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?”

31 While the word was still in the king’s mouth, a voice fell from heaven: “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you! 32 And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. They shall make you eat grass like oxen; and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.”

33 That very hour the word was fulfilled concerning Nebuchadnezzar; he was driven from men and ate grass like oxen; his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair had grown like eagles’ feathers and his nails like birds’ claws.

Notice the ‘Self-proclamation’ of 30 The king spoke, saying, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?”… while he was still speak the Lord said”the kingdom has departed from you”.

The world today is full of many ‘king-Nebuchadnezzar’ and all will be humiliated, they may not eat grass like Nebuchadnezzar, some may not eat at all.

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue whichrises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. In Context | Full Chapter |

These are the Word of the Lord, and His Word never fails… so Iran be warned that your intent shall not prosper.

As we look to the second greatest event in history tomorrow… Resurrection Morning, we know our Redeemer Lives!

His Faithfulness:

He came, He saw and He was crucified for our sins… He Paid-It-All...

Revelation 21:4

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” In Context | Full Chapter |

EVENING: Coming to The Lord:

The Trumpet Sound… This sound is synonymous with major events, what will be the next major event?

Text: Hebrews 11:   30 Because of faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encompassed for seven days [by the Israelites].

Commentary: Sonic Booms occur when we break the sound barrier. Which is at the threshold of  768 miles per hour at sea level., but Ultrasonic sound is  above the range of human hearing, Sonic(20 to 20,000Hz) Human Hearing Range Sub-Sonic(<20Hz) Ultrasonic(>20,000Hz)and glass (un-reinforced type) will shatter by very high pitched  frequency..

The Wall of Jericho fell at the sound of the Trumpet, Hebrews 11:30

Because of faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encompassed for seven days [by the Israelites]. Hebrews 11:29-31 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

And the Bible said the Trumpet sound will herald the second coming of our Lord Jesus.  Sound is invisible to the naked eyes, and so is turbulence caused by ‘Clear Air’ turbulence in the sky. Dogs can hear frequency of sound that we humans cannot hear.

It is also said that not everyone will hear the sound of the Trumpet of the final major event… The coming of the Lord! The mysteries of ‘Trumpet-Sound’ as described in the Bible will herald the coming of the Lord, why? Probably the saying by Jesus…”I am not of this world” will finally be revealed that He is ‘Near’ us but cannot be seen, as the He is in a ‘Dimension’ that we humans cannot see… So much is unknown by us, but Hebrews 11: 29-31 said the wall of Jericho fell at the sound of Trumpet, and it also said it was because of faith the walls fell.

In today’s weaponry we have Particle-Beam rays that can destroy solid mass, the vulnerability of our civilization can be summed up by the stockpile of weapons of mass-destruction.  But the less publicized threat of a High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse H-EMP can disable Aircrafts, automobiles, computers, medical devices, our satellites and in general the essential links of what we use every moment of our daily lives.   .  Such EMP would cause life-support system failures, all elevators will stop, planes falling, all navigation systems out, Cruise ships adrift. etc., the world would be calamity central. Such an event is not impossible and is within reach of ‘rouge nations’

Recently going to church I discovered that I forgot my iPhone® so, I thought of turning around and going to get it, but then I said… I do not need this as I can talk to our Lord without this gizmo.  So with the human threat of taking out the creature comfort through an EMP attack, let us not get too dependent and stay in touch with our Lord.

Amazingly, our Lord can hear us all at once, He can respond to each of us all at once, with earth’s population at almost 7 billion of which 2, 2 billion are Christians of 32% of the total world. Our Amazing God is Supreme and is Omniscient and Omnipotent and Omnipresence.

Prayers: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus we affirm that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and at the Right-Hand of The Father… Lord thank Your for the Victory in You Lord Jesus.  Lord today we affirm Your Grace through Your Redemption as You came and by Your Sacrifice we are saved by Grace and not of anything we do. Lord today we consider this to be ‘Good-Friday’ because of what You did for us Lord.  Lord our atrocity was rendered to You Lord, but according to the Prophecy You Lord Jesus is the Unblemished Lamb of God… Lord You are now our Sovereign eternal God in One of the Father and knowing that You Lord Jesus was there from the beginning of it all as The Father said …”Let there be Light” and You appeared and through You all things are held together.  We Praise You Lord and we seek Your Divine Blessing to our Visitors and to us all in Your Holy Name we pray and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotion for Friday April 3, 2015

Topic: Today is ‘Good’ Friday why is it called good when this is the day they crucified Christ?

Because through His Sacrifice He redeemed us and by His Goodness and His Righteousness we are able to come to the Father;  give thanks our Lord Jesus and Praise Him for He Live..

Focus: Jesus’ Sacrifice on the Cross for our Sins… Thanks to our Redeemer

Text:  John 19: 28 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. 30When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Commentary: Today is Good Friday…  How could we call this day Good?  A day that our Lord Jesus was arrested, flogged, Mocked and crown with a ‘crown’ of thorn, and they slapped our Lord…

Jesus restrained His power and endured the torture for our sake.   Remember that over 7 centuries before Jesus was born the prophet Isaiah foretold about the Crucifixion of Jesus in Isaiah 53…. Even before Isaiah God told Moses and his people to slaughter a Lamb but not to break any of the bones, and use the Blood to mark their doorposts to be protected from the angel of death, this being the Passover, and Jesus is the Lamb of God, and the scripture said none of His bone would be broken….Our Lord made that ultimate Sacrifice for our sins…. Not only did His Blood wash our sins away, He made us Joint-Heir to His Kingdom.

The Crucifixion was a day that has never been seen again when the Sun went dark at noon for three hours

There is an event that is known as the Blood Moon…

A religious cross is seen as the moon is illuminated by sunlight reflected off the Earth during a total lunar eclipse, one of four so-called 'blood moons', on October 8, 2014 in Los Angeles, California. The first in the current tetrad of blood moons fell on Passover and the current eclipse occurs on the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, the fifth day after Yom Kippur, leading some religious people to believe that it is a prophetic sign of the end times of civilization. This blood moon appears 5.3% larger than the last one on April 15 because it occurs right after the perigee, the closest point in its orbit to the Earth. (Photo by David McNew/Getty Images)

John 18:28-36   Jesus before Pilate

28 Then the Jewish leaders took Jesus from Caiaphas to the palace of the Roman governor. By now it was early morning, and to avoid ceremonial uncleanness they did not enter the palace, because they wanted to be able to eat the Passover. 29 So Pilate came out to them and asked, “What charges are you bringing against this man?”

30 “If he were not a criminal,” they replied, “we would not have handed him over to you.”

31 Pilate said, “Take him yourselves and judge him by your own law.”

“But we have no right to execute anyone,” they objected. 32 This took place to fulfill what Jesus had said about the kind of death he was going to die.

33 Pilate then went back inside the palace, summoned Jesus and asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”

34 “Is that your own idea,” Jesus asked, “or did others talk to you about me?”

35 “Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied. “Your own people and chief priests handed you over to me. What is it you have done?”

36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

John 19: 16- 42 The Crucifixion of Jesus

So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. 17 Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). 18 There they crucified him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle.

19 Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20 Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. 21 The chief priests of the Jews protested to Pilate, “Do not write ‘The King of the Jews,’ but that this man claimed to be king of the Jews.”

22 Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”  23 When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.

24 “Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another. “Let’s decide by lot who will get it.”    This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said,

“They divided my clothes among them   and cast lots for my garment.”     So this is what the soldiers did.

25 Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman, here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

The Death of Jesus

28 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. 30When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

31 Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down. 32 The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other. 33 But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. 34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water. 35 The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe. 36 These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken,” 37 and, as another scripture says, “They will look on the one they have pierced.”

The Burial of Jesus

38 Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish leaders. With Pilate’s permission, he came and took the body away. 39 He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds. 40 Taking Jesus’ body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs. 41 At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid. 42 Because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.

Conclusion:  Resurrection Morning is a day like no other day in the History of mankind.  We need to stop and think on this as no one has ever returned from the dead., except Jesus.  Jesus said “I am not of this world” His Kingdom is from another place John 19: Verse 38.  When we consider the Miracle of Jesus’ Resurrection we need to measure what he also said, “In Him we shall also have Life and Life abundantly… and By His Blood we are cleansed and by his Grace we are Saved.  Praise God that Jesus our Redeemer lives, and Jesus our Incarnate God will be there to greet us, just as He did in welcoming Stephen into His Kingdom. For those that know our Lord and accepted Jesus as our Redeemer; just as when Stephen was stoned to death and transitioned into the presence of Jesus so are those in Christ. Woodlawn # 1, 2, 3 5 Etc are also with many empty graves for those in Christ, as the Scriptures said, to be absent from the body and be Present with our Lord…. Praise our Lord Jesus for He is Worthy, He is Supreme and He is Eternal, and He Loves you…

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Risen Lord we come.  Lord we affirm today that our Redeemer lives and You Lord Jesus is on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord as you intercedes for us we come and Praise you as we look forward to Resurrection Day a day that You our Lord Rose Triumphantly. Lord we thank You for Your Redemption and by your Grace we can look to that day when we shall see You as You are.  Lord bless our Visitors as we seek your Divine Blessings and Your Favors to us all. We pray in your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Morning:

Focus: Nothing, no one, no obstacle can stop God’s plan for His people…

It is ironic that those crucifying Jesus thought they were stopping Him from spreading His teaching.  But they were in fact carrying out the will of God.

The event of Christ’s Crucifixion has never been repeated… in History we have never seen anyone rising from the dead, walking among men for 40 days, nor did it ever go totally dark for three hours on the entire earth.

The Ascension of Jesus is another event that has never been repeated.

The Miracle of miracles can never be scientifically explained.  And all of man’s attempts to thwart God’s Plan for us failed.  Because God can never be manipulated or stopped by us, so let us just come to Him and say “Here I am Lord” I am ready to serve You.

During the Israelites journey to the Promised Land, they had to cross the land of the Medianites, and their king Balak hired the sorcerer Balaam to ‘curse’ Israel… However, God intervene and ordered Balaam not to curse the Israelites which he followed God’s instruction, but Balaam later advised Balak how to interfere with the Israelites, by leading them astray with Moabite women in an attempt to collect his sorcerer’s fee.  Balaam thought that he was smart, but he was as phony as a $3 dollar bill… He did follow the instructions from God and did not curse God’s people, but he did undo the good that God had him do in the end… So we see that God cannot be fooled, and in the end Balaam got what God does to all who willfully transgress against The Lord. Balaam was killed.

Principle:  Our Spiritual blindness can only be enlighten when God intervenes.

TEXT: John 18 New King James Version (NKJV)

Betrayal and Arrest in Gethsemane

18 When Jesus had spoken these words, He went out with His disciples over the Brook Kidron, where there was a garden, which He and His disciples entered. 2 And Judas, who betrayed Him, also knew the place; for Jesus often met there with His disciples. 3 Then Judas, having received a detachment of troops, and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons. 4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, “Whom are you seeking?”

5 They answered Him, “Jesus of Nazareth.”

Jesus said to them, “I am He.” And Judas, who betrayed Him, also stood with them. 6 Now when He said to them, “I am He,” they drew back and fell to the ground.

His Faithfulness:

EVENING:

Coming to The Lord:

  1. God’s Mercies goes beyond any of our comprehension,
  2. His Unconditional love never Fails,
  3. He is Loving but He is a Jealous God, so do not have any idols or anything that takes precedent because…
  4. He must be Preeminent.

Would you deny Christ like Peter (Peter did this three times before the cock crowed)

Text:  Galatians 2:20   (NIV) 20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Commentary:  Peter a disciple that was close to Jesus at Jesus’ trial when someone said… “This is one of them” He denied that he knew Jesus. Not once but three times, Jesus predicted this, and we all know the remorse of Peter when he heard the rooster crowed.  His action of denial in spite of his declared allegiance was a cowardly act, Peter even cursed.  We can all say this is so, why? Because we were not there.  In the face of hostility, Peter opted out and denied his Lord. And even today we would probably do the same.

Jesus who knew no sin became a sinner as He bore our sin at Calvary, He took it all and placed in on the Cross. While we all would say that we would not participate in the Crucifixion of Jesus, as He was God incarnate, The Messiah, and the cruelty and torture inflicted on Jesus we would not render such barbaric acts against the Son of God. But guess what?  We all participated, we all brought Him to the Cross, and we all nailed Him to the Cross.  Why?  Because we are all ‘Sinners’. Even today we are still crucifying our Lord. Why? Every act of sin committed we are placing Him on the cross again and again.

Principle: There is no other name given in which we can be saved….  In Christ alone!

Conclusion: Today as we go about our business, to work, school or even if we are staying home, just consider the scene of the Crucifixion where our Lord was beaten, even forced to carry the cross that he would be nailed to.  On the other hand, just consider that Jesus could have called ten thousand angels to His rescue. Why didn’t He? Because His sole reason for coming to earth was to shed His Blood of Atonement for you and I.  This week we will be visiting the Passover and the events leading up to the Empty Tomb, as we celebrate Easter.  Easter is the most Joyous time of the year just like Christmas, but Easter is the high point of Jesus’ mission to earth for the sole reason to Redeem those whom He loves. He loved us so much that he died for us, but death had no hold on our Messiah, Jesus who is the great “I AM” was there at the beginning of it all, in John 1:  The Word became Flesh….

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we reflect on Your Crucifixion and Your Triumphant Resurrection, Lord we thank you for Your Graciousness and Your Love. Lord we thank You for your Sacrifice at Calvary, and Your Blood of Atonement we receive Lord as we stand in Awe knowing that your choice was not to thwart Your persecutors as they brought You to the Cross Lord. We thank you for choosing to save us by your Grace. Lord We give You our Praises and thank you Lord for this privilege and we ask your blessings on our Visitors as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for: Wednesday April 1, 2015

Morning:

Focus: What is your life’s achievement or what would you like to accomplish during your lifetime?

As we approach the eve of the arrest and persecution of our Savior Jesus Christ.  Jesus came, He saw and He conquered, unlike the conquests of men like William the Conquer know for fighting battles, killing and conquering territories, like most tyrants they usually die during battles.

TEXT: But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 53:5-6 NKJV

Jesus’ conquest was over death… Jesus never expounded Himself was a ‘ruler’ Jesus was never in battles, Jesus expounded His Love, His care and fulfilled the mission of His Father by dying in our place so that we may have Life through His Sacrifice.

Yes… our Lord was the Unblemished Lamb of God offered for the Redemption of us all.  His Blood is the ‘ultimate’ mark for the coming and great ‘Passover’.

The original Passover was followed by the day of Pentecost, the same parallel is already in motion, and the Crucifixion of Jesus as He offered His Blood of Atonement, and His Return will be the parallel to the Day of Pentecost.

The coming event of Christ Return will be Jesus Himself and not the Holy Spirit that occurred before… Jesus Himself will appear on the second to last Feast, which is the Feast of the Trumpet.

As stated in the bible over 700 years before Christ came to earth written by the Prophet Isaiah… But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6 NKJV

The Feast of the Trumpet:  Offerings at the Feast of Trumpets

29 ‘And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work. For you it is a day of blowing the trumpets.

The Trumpet sound will be the event of all events sounding on the return of our Lord Jesus…

Text: 1 Corinthians 15: Our Final Victory

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”[g]

55 “O Death, where is your sting? [h]

O Hades, where is your victory?”[i]

56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

EVENING:

Coming to The Lord

Then the final Trumpet will be the Feat of the Tabernacle… when Christ and His people will be in that great Tabernacle in His Kingdom…

His Faithfulness:

Revelation 21 New King James Version (NKJV)

All Things Made New

21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, [a] saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, [b] “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

6 And He said to me, “It is done! [c] I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, [d] and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, [e] abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Conclusion:

Today as we reflect on the life of Christ and the privilege He has made possible for us all… We have the Gospel of His Salvation, the affirmation of His Divine Redemption, His Omniscient, His Power and Glory know our Redeemer, Jesus ‘The Christ’ who is supreme and preeminent, our King of kings and Lord of lords… Praise our Lord Jesus our Redeemer… He is alive!

The Lord’s blessing to let it rain on the just and the unjust is because He is not partial, and He made no preference, but one preference to all in Unity, as we are all sinners, and by his Grace we are Redeemed. So even the un-redeemed are beneficiary of His showers of Blessings, because they too shall come to know him and be also Redeemed. But His great commission to us to bring the Gospels to all and spread the Good News to the ends of Earth is to be our mission for His Glory.

Principle: Not only do we have his assurance, it is eternal as we lay up treasures in heaven as his faithfulness abounds

Prayer: Lord Jesus we come knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and no one comes to the Father unless through You. Lord today as we seek your Divine guidance and thank You for Your Providence and above all Your Redemption, Lord bless our Visitors and this day as we go with the Peace from you knowing that You our Redeemer Lives and we can boldly come to You. Lord in Faith we go with your Assurance. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.
