What would you consider a ‘Nice’ weekend?

Choose:

  • A long drive to the countryside
  • A day at the beach
  • Being on the Golf course
    • Or:
    • In Fellowship in the Body of Christ.

A long drive to the countryside may be appealing, but remember on the drive back the weekend traffic will be unbearable, alternately… the day at the beach will be fun, but it was overshadowed by the sun-burn, the sudden downpour and then… the Golf course, let’s hope it is better; but there is a weather front incoming and the lightening and thunder and of course, holding your golf club is like holding unto a lightning rod.

The peace and Joy of the Fellowship in Christ will be the best of all.  Nothing in life is guaranteed, so the scenarios above are just conjectures.  Hopefully, the weekends are all good.

But we must mention the priest that said he was not able to do the church service and asked to be excused. He drove out to a country club a long distance from his church, he stated a round of golf. He suddenly did 450 yards Hole in One. An amazing feat, but he could not tell anyone as he was supposed to be home sick.  I guess this made his really sick.

The old Church sign is always good to revisit… “Honk if you love Jesus  Text and drive if you want to meet him soon”

The Lord’s Unfailing Faithfulness, Unfailing Love, Unfailing Grace and Eternal Redemption.

Do not clutter your life with small-stuffs, the demonstration of the Jar filled with rocks that may be considered full, yet there is room for pebbles, and then it may be considered really full, but yet there is room for sand that now makes the jar totally full.

Sand is the small stuff, if you were to pour the sand in first there would be no room for the Rock, nor the Pebbles.

So, in life, stand on the Solid Rock, which is Christ, gather your families and friends (Pebbles) and leave room to think, to share and to move around by leaving out the small-stuffs.

Jesus overlooked our faults and by His Amazing-Grace He knew our needs and provided it all…

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. In Context | Full Chapter |

Delight yourself in the Lord…

Psalm 35:9

Then my soul will rejoice in the Lord and delight in his salvation. In Context | Full Chapter |

Psalm 18:19 He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because He delighted in me.

Conclusion:

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Lord be with our Visitors, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Is the family unit threatened?

Yes… from multiple angles, and mostly when they attend schools and more so in universities. The Family Units are being bombarded by all the political correctness, the gender issue, the LBGT in your face teaching starting at a young age. The dispensing of Ritalin drugs in the name of attention deficit disorder or authism.

The above, plus the big-pharma rampant dispensation of ‘paid-killer; no that was not a typo instead of ‘Pain’. The rampant use of prescription drugs to the point of an epedimic by Opiod that leads to hard drugs. With all this, how can anyone say there’s no conspiracy against our families?

When a trusted householf name that almost everyone knows for their Baby’s product is fined for unlawfully promoting Opiod, and paying almost a ¾ Billion dollars in fines. What is driving these old line companies to contribute to the narcotic problem? We can point to several factors…the absence of ethics. The absence of God, and the greed factor.

As the Information Age expanded, many media platforms were hijacked by unscrupulous operators. The adage of a one-eyed man leading in a blind man country because within grasp. As we saw. The gender issue becoming a national agenda affecting our armed forces, retailer, schools and compromising by even some religious groups.

The ‘Information’ Age is said to be becoming the ‘Experience’ Age, or what we prefer… the ‘I am NOT a profile’ Age. Why? As we are referred to by a number, this is proliferating to the point that your user’s name and PIN number will be how you gain access to everything.

It is already in use, as you carry your smart phone and credit cards around, all with a chip. This is man’s way of knowing where you are and who you are.

Jesus never compromised… He never needed any of us to have a chip, He never needed the GPS or the worldwide web. Yet, God sees us, hears our prayers as you pray, being one out of 8 Billions.

Yes, humans are back at building the old Tower of Babel. And God is coming again to tear it down again.

What is the best thing you have today? Is it wealth or health? For me it is health and knowing that my treasures are in heaven. With this I know my Lord has met all my needs...

New International Version

Genesis 11: 9:
That is why it was called Babel --because there the LORD confused the language of the whole world. From there the LORD scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

As today as we are in ‘Training’ just like the 40 year’s journey of the Israelite to Canaan, we are sojourning through this earth which we can have His Grace and His Divine Providence till that day when Jesus will be there to say… Welcome home.  So, let us Love Him and by His Grace He will transform us that we are ‘Spiritually’ connected to Him and not ritually coming to Him.  Come as you are, He seeks nothing from you, He wants to Bless you with an abundant life and give you His Peace.

Conclusion:

Praise our Lord that we have the Gospels, Moses nor the 11 Disciples did not yet have the Good News of Jesus Crucifixion and Resurrection while they were with Him.  But they all saw the Omniscient of our Lord as Jesus spent Forty days with them before He ascended to Heaven.

We also have the Holy Spirit that Jesus said would be our ‘Comforter’ and as we go today we can Praise our Living Eternal Sovereign Savior who has endowed us with his Grace and made us ‘Joint-Heirs’ in Him to His Kingdom.

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus as we start this new week, we seek Your Divine grace upon us all, Lord bless our Visitors as we go in Faith knowing that You Lord is Omniscient and all our needs are provided for by Your providence. Lord we thank You and we give You first-place in all knowing that You Lord Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith as we acknowledge You before all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Why did the sun go dark for three hours? And why this event never reoccurred ?

There are three major events that made more impact on humanity than any other known events of world history.

The Birth of Jesus is one event that has influenced how we live daily, governed by the daily calendar of the year AD 2019 (A.D. An abbreviation used with a date, indicating how many years have passed since the birth of Jesus. The birth of Jesus dictates our calendar and yet many have never heard of Jesus.

What is the 2nd most important? ‘The Crucifixion of Jesus’, why? He was not just a man, He was God, Jesus as we see shook the elements at his crucifixion by a major earthquake, the sun went dark for three (3) hours, Midday to 3 PM, and the Curtain of the Temple was torn. The Power of His Holy Spirit from His father descended on earth.

The Third most important event known to man is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we declare “HE IS RISEN” His Resurrection from death as seen by thousands witnessed by the Disciples. Jesus’ Resurrection is a Divine gift to us that completed His Redemption of our Soul, His Blood of Atonement was shed for our sin, His Priceless Gift of Life-Everlasting is offered to each of us…

How do we receive this priceless gift? We must in Faith come to Jesus in Prayer and confess with our mouth that He is God, and ask that our sins be forgiven, and in Faith ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, and He will send His Holy Spirit that will guide you and you will be a Child of God. What a privilege granted to us by our Lord Jesus.

There’s a fourth event that will be the ‘Crowning-Event’ this is as stated… The Return of The Lord:

Revelation 22: 7… New Living Translation
“Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written in this book.”

  1. Corinthians 15:52

New Living Translation
It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed.

Remember what Jesus said to the thief that was crucified, this person asked Jesus “Lord remember me when you get to your kingdom” and Jesus replied… “Today you shall be with me in Paradise”.

Jesus knew that this thief repented and sought Him, and Jesus gave him His pardon, just like this action in Faith and the immediate response of Jesus is available to each of us right now, as Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow…  ‘Today is the day of Salvation” Let us have Victory in Jesus Christ as we look to be in His Kingdom by His own words, Jesus described it as ‘Paradise’. A Place described as:

Revelation 22: 5…
New Living Translation
And there will be no night there—no need for lamps or sun—for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever.

Revelation 21: 18-27  (A synopsis of God’s Kingdom)

18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city itself of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were adorned with every kind of precious stone: The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.

21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, with each gate consisting of a single pearl. The main street of the city was pure gold, as pure as transparent glass.

22 But I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.23 And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 By its light the nations will walk, and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory.f 25 Its gates will never be shut at the end of the day, because there will be no night there.

26 And into the city will be brought the glory and honor of the nations. 27 But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who practices an abomination or a lie, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

As someone said…"Life is too short to be busy." (Tim Kreider) and we are saying… Life without Christ by being busy in this world will cause you to miss the stairway to His Kingdom… Jesus is there pointing the way.  Find Him and follow Him.

Prayer:

Gracious God our Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus because You are Holy and by Your Redemption we were redeemed by Your Grace, Lord by Your Sacrifice at Calvary we can come boldly to You Lord; as You said come and You will give us Rest. We seek You Lord and Praise You for Your Unconditional Love and Thank You for our Visitors and Your Graciousness. In Your Holy Name, we pray Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The Holy Bible is the Best-Selling book of all times, why? The Bible evokes a sense of security, creates curiosity and challenges all.  As said…

Revelation 22:18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the ...

I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds
anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this ...

Deuteronomy 4:2 Do not add to what I command you and do not ...

Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep
the commands of the LORD your God that I give you. ...

As President Ronald Reagan once said …”In this book lies the answers to all of what we need” and as stated by a member of NASA®… The secret of lifting off into Orbit was found in the Holy Bible.

Yes, Jesus revealed many ‘Secrets’ and what He said may have been overlooked. Why? Jesus was speaking from the heart with the Holy Spirit in His teachings.  A statement of whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, appear to be so simple. But, Jesus was saying that we are not ‘Alone’ in such an action, as what we do in faith, is also granted in His Name.

Jesus said… I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." Matthews 16: 19

When Jesus said… “ I will give you the keys of the Kingdom”; we want to ask our readers… do you believe this? Let me affirm that Yes, I do, and I know that whatever Jesus said this is so.  So, know this that…

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever ...

What is God’s Kingdom? Daniel 4:3 How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His ...

... His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; his dominion endures from generation to generation. ...
His kingdom will last forever, his rule through all generations. ...

God gave us many indications of events leading up to that fateful day… Matthew 24:6-8

You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

He also said… "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." -Matthew 24:14

From the book of Haggai, we read of:

  1. The Greatness of God
  2. God expects purity among men, and He expects to assume priority in the lives of His people
  3. God is in charge and He controls our economic conditions, He uses economic conditions to teach spiritual lessons.
  4. He is ever faithful, and He keeps His promises
  5. He is a Living God

God gave us many indications of events leading up to that fateful day… Matthew 24:6-8

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

He also said… "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." -Matthew 24:14

Because our Lord knows our thoughts, He said … Matthew 6:8

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Let us give thanks for the Favors of our Lord…

  1. 2 Corinthians 8:14

At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality,

 2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

The Angel of the Lord shall encamp around us…

TEXT: Hebrews 1:14

New International Version (NIV)

14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Commentary: Have you ever had a turn of event that saved you from a disastrous outcome?

Everyone sometime back in time, we all had near misses. Praise God for being here today…

Psalm 34:7  (NIV)

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father we ask Your divine blessing on our Visitors and say in Your Name: May our God of Grace who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus bless and keep you, and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, and give you peace now and forever, in Jesus Name…. Amen.

Image result for image of spaceThe picture of earth shown on the left, it shows that it is surrounded by ‘Space-Junks’.

What we have defaced the beauty of the ‘Blue- Planet’ with over 500,000 pieces of debris. Space debris encompasses both natural (meteoroid) and artificial (man-made) particles. Meteoroids are in orbit about the sun, while most artificial debris is in orbit about the Earth. Hence, the latter is more commonly referred to as orbital debris.

When the Lord returns all of this will be burnt-up…

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The ...

... the heavens shall pass away with great violence, and the elements shall be melted
with heat, and the earth and the works which are in it, shall be burnt up. ...

2 Peter 3 (NKJV)

God’s Promise Is Not Slack

3 Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder),

that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,

and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,

by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.

But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Commentary:

When the trumpet sound on that day, many will be taking refuge, and there will be nowhere to go…

“They called to the mountains and the rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?’ – Revelation 6:16-17 (NIV)

The Wrath of God will be unbearable, BUT THE Grace of God will spare His elect from the day of Tribulation, and that Jesus still holds all things together and He is in Charge

Think on this   :

  • 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
  • Galatians 6:11 [Not Circumcision but the New Creation] See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!
  • Galatians 6:15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.

Praying to the Lord is the Most-Important Meeting we can have in our daily lives…

All other things we do are secondary, as only our Lord can Divinely prepare us for the day, He can smooth our tasks, inspire us, give us His Blessings, and by His Grace we can cope with all aspects of life’s responsibilities.

His Faithful calling…

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundant above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.  from Ephesians 3:20 NKJV

2 Corinthians 2:15   (NKJV) 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 4-10  But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for our Visitors and the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Lord, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Monday August 26,2019

The beauty of a Koi Pond… just think that these beautiful fishes swimming around happily without a care in the world; yet they depend on receiving their feed, and care from humans. Pets develop a relationship with their owners, and yet in todays world, people that provide your phone services, and other services, including your credit cards and many business, to them you are not a human, as most times you will be speaking with an artificial customer service that will ask you for your customer number. And, this is exactly what we have become a number.

The Credit Card that you carry has a Chip that they claim that this is more secure.  If it was so secure, why is it that it can be captured even when in your pocket? We are surrounded by Radio Frequency Identification, Global Positioning Satellite and now G5 Broadband. So, as the stray cat that we have been feeding is now a friendly cat, probably it knows that we are his provider. Maybe the banks and government employees should learn that the customers are the ones that keep them employed.

Conversely, the adage of…’Familiarity breeds contempt’ of as we say; its easy to mistake kindness for weakness. While the stark fact that we take so much for granted as the favor of the Lord is granted us daily.

Things to know that in the realms of reality, right now is what counts; not yesterday, nor tomorrow, for we know…“Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Our Lord’s Grace and His Kindness and Graciousness are His gifts to those that serve and place Him first.

Live by the principle of… Spiritual maturity is developed by holding unto a FAITH that is FIRMLY ANCHORED IN CHRIST; and knowing that we are never on our own because Jesus is our High Priest.

Hebrews 4: 12 (NIV)

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Jesus is our Intercessor and our Mediator as our High Priest, that Intercedes to the Father, as HE Said...”No one comes to the Father unless Through HIM”

Psalms 95 Verse 7 (NIV).  For he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.

Today, if only you would hear his voice, 8. Do not harden your hearts

His encouragement to persevere and Stay focused in FAITH

Principle 2:

We become Mature in The Faith as we live out the Truth, and Learn about God…

MATURE FAITH = ACTION FOR CHRIST

Keynote:

Jesus is the Foundation Who Secures the ANCHOR of OUR FAITH…

The GOSPEL IS THE WHOLE THING, And The Goodness of HIS Resurrection.

Keynote: Keep Focused on HIM!

Jesus is on the Throne, and He is our Anchor, and we can come to Him as HE said…

Pay Careful attention to the Gospel, so we will be fully Anchored in Jesus Christ…as HE Never Lies, HE is Supreme, HE is Sovereign, and HE is our Eternal God…

Our Father holds the purse-strings, and what we lose for his sake he can repay a thousand-fold.

It is ours to obey his will, and we may rest assured that he will provide for us. The Lord will be no man's debtor.

Looking at His Words in Matthew 6: 28-34 (NIV) preface…These are the words of Jesus as told by Him from His sermon at a gathering which was in effect our Lord’s Inauguration speech as King Jesus, widely known as the Beatitudes and as ‘The Sermon on the Mount’ The theme of this message is: ‘To have Faith and not to Worry’

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Prayer: Prayer: Heavenly Father because of Jesus our Redeemer and through You Lord we have Victory and we can boldly declare that this day is the best day of all because Your Lord Jesus paid it all.  Lord we thank you for our Visitors and we ask your Divine blessing on us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Sunday: August 25, 2019

God is calling us all…

Be aware…      God’s House, the Church is not a Private-Club, it is a refuge for Sinners…

Someone may say I do not attend church because it is full of hypocrites, guess what? and that would include us all. So, choosing to be absent by using this reason is really an excuse.  If the audience in church were perfect, then why would Christ have to die for our sins?

So, anyone that claims to be more perfect, then he or she is making Jesus to be a liar.  Because Jesus said…

John 3 [Full Chapter]

The New Birth] There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

No, the Church ‘Age’ did not end… The Church is loved by God and is very much alive!

Let us re-affirm that the Church Age did not end, as Jesus gave His command by saying… A new commandment I give you, that you love one another; as I have loved you that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples if you have love for one another. John 13: 34-35 NKJV

Regarding the Church Age… We read about Paul’s writing in Hebrews 10: 25 ‘Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another; and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

We need ‘Oneness’ in Christ, as we look to that day… The Day of The Lord! The Body of Christ is the Church, His Holiness and Fellowship in Him as we Praise our Lord through Community Worship and in our personal Worship of our Savior.

Text: “As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even forever.” Psalm 125:2

Romans 3:9

All Have Sinned ] What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. In Context | Full Chapter |

Romans 3:22-24 New King James Version (NKJV)

22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

So, the church is a refuge for sinners like us all…

His Promise:

Trust in God… He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him. He also will hear their cry and save them… Psalm 145: 19 NKJV

The Power of the Holy Spirit… In Acts 4: 31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with Boldness.

Conclusion:

Now that we have His assurance that we are complete in Him, and that when we follow Him, we shall have Eternal Life, and that No One can Snatch us out of His Hands or His Father’s  Hand, and these Assurances are truthful and we can in Faith accept this as His Promise.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus Your faithfulness abounds in our Lives as we accept Your Covenant of Live through Your Redemption. Lord Jesus as we look to You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteous we can boldly come to You as You said “come unto You and You will give us rest”  Lord the challenges of this world will not deter us as in Faith we acknowledge Your Favor. Lord bless our Visitors to this Good News site and grant to all Your Favors and we know that You know what we have need of before we ask Lord.  Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy name and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Saturday: August 24, 2019

How did Phillip get the message to follow the chariot with the Ethiopian eunuch? And who was he? Why did God want Phillip to bring him to the Lord?

Acts 8:

Philip and the Ethiopian

26. Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Get up and go south to the desert road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” 27. So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official in charge of the entire treasury of Candace, a queen of the Ethiopians. He had gone to Jerusalem to worship, 28. and on his return was sitting in his chariot, reading Isaiah the prophet.

29. The Spirit said to Philip, “Go over to that chariot and stay by it.”

30. So, Philip ran up and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked.

31 “How can I,” he said, “unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

32 The eunuch was reading this passage of Scripture:

“He was led like a sheep to the slaughter,

and as a lamb before the shearer is silent,

so, He did not open His mouth.

33 In His humiliation He was deprived of justice.

Who can recount His descendants?

For His life was removed from the earth.”

34 “Tell me,” said the eunuch, “who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?”

35. Then Philip began with this very Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.

36. As they traveled along the road and came to some water, the eunuch said, “Look, here is water! What is there to prevent me from being baptized?”  38. And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.

Why did God want Philip to lead him to the Lord?

Today 62% of Ethiopia is of Christian Faith.

The eunuch was a minister of government he too was on a mission, a mission to bring the Gospel home to his people. Just like Philip who was commissioned to bring the Ethiopian to Jesus.

Today, we too are commissioned to find people like the Ethiopian emissary of the queen, and even ordinary individuals and use our God given gifts to lead them to Christ.

What good is the gift from the Lord to each of us if it remained unused?

Think of the missed opportunity of not offering to help others.

That someone that called you and you hurriedly dismissed the call, stop for a moment and discern if there’s any sense of distress, anxiety or is it a call with a joyful time.

Always ask… is there anything I can do for you?

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Lord and savior we come. Lord as we gather, we are assured that You Lord Jesus is in our midst and You are our Mediator to the Father.  Lord we thank You for Your Divine Grace and we thank you Lord for the privilege of serving You and for our many Visitors. Lord bless each of our Visitors as we Praise You and give You the Glory, we thank You Lord that whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Friday: August 23rd, 2019

How far back can you remember in your lifetime? Do you have photographic memory?

It is said that most can recall events when they were 3-1/2 years old. A new study indicates that even six years after the fact, a small percentage of tots as young as 2 can recall a unique event.

I recalled being christened when I was around 10 months old, (or maybe earlier) I recall vividly when the Pastor sprinkled me, and then handed me back to my mother. I recall exactly where the event took place, as I grew up in the same church, and always remembered the corner of the building with the fountain where I was Christened.

Today as I look back, it was indeed a unique event. Sometimes when we are asked…”tell us about the event that led you  to the Lord”. My answer is, I never had the ‘Damascus Road experience’, some may have experienced.  But as Billy Graham once said… being born in a garage, doesn’t make you a car, and born into a Christian family will not make you a Christian.

For those of us who never experienced the life-changing event, the event may not be an earth-shattering event.  As a child the little chorus…

“Into my heart, into my heart
Come into my heart, Lord Jesus
Come in today, come in to stay
Come into my heart, Lord Jesus”

This was sung with the innocence of a child.

Jesus said… unless we come as a child…

Matthew 18:3

and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:4

Therefore, whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

A recent experience of someone coming to the Lord…

In our Bible-Study a dedicated attendee with deep knowledge of the Bible was asked…”have you received Christ?” and the answer was ‘not ready yet’ this went on for months, One morning I prayed and asked the Lord to make this Monday the day that John would come and accept Him.

At class that day, while we were in discussion, I interrupted and asked everyone to stand, and our discussion leaders said why? And I said this is the moment for John to come to Christ… they all reluctantly stood up, and much discussion were going on, I said let us be quiet, and no one stopped, I raised my voice and said… If we do not quiet down, lets take a break. Everyone stood at attention, I turned to John and said, this is the Moment which the Holy Spirit is with us and I wish to ask you… Do you accept Jesus as your personal Savior and make him Lord of your life, and he answered Yes! Then we held hands and prayed over him. The event changed the members’ attitude to John; and he has stated that he is at peace with the Lord knowing he in faith knows that he is saved.

"I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."
John 10:9

Jesus, the great I AM, is the entrance into the true church, and the way of access to God himself. He gives to the man who comes to God by him four choice privileges.

1. He shall be saved. The fugitive manslayer passed the gate of the city of refuge, and was safe. Noah entered the door of the ark, and was secure. None can be lost who take Jesus as the door of faith to their souls. Entrance through Jesus into peace is the guarantee of entrance by the same door into heaven. Jesus is the only door, an open door, a wide door, a safe door; and blessed is he who rests all his hope of admission to glory upon the crucified Redeemer.

Prayer:

Father God, in Christ our Savior our God in One we come…

Lord Jesus thank You for Your covenant of Grace.

Lord we thank You and seek Your Divine Blessings on our Visitors and us all.

To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Thursday: August 22, 2019

The immensity of the universe- it is endless, it demonstrates the infinity of a matchless God.

The majesty of the almighty God, He who is our Creator, who sits on the Throne… yet He loved us so much He sent His Son to save us.

Just think, if you had all the comfort and luxuries that life can offer, would you worry about your less fortunate neighbors?

Probably not, but in some instances we may. Is our care for a less fortunate neighbor caused by love or sympathy?

Jesus said… “Love your neighbor as yourselves”.

When we give to a panhandler (Beggar) do you give because of love or of pity?

God gave us His Son because of His love.

Sometimes we are very smug (haughty) with our comfort of life, our home, cars and all that we enjoy, but… we should place ourselves in the show of those less fortunate.  Sometimes, the homeless person may be from a background that would astonish us.

I know of an individual that was head of a large production with a firm of national recognition. The product is so well-known that it is seen in every food stores in the USA.  This person fell victim to crack-cocaine and became homeless on the streets of Miami. He fell to the bottom hitting the lowest point in his life, he then went to the Miami Rescue Mission for shelter and food, and to seek help.

At the Mission, he found the Lord, became clean and free of drugs; but he did not go back to his high paying job, he stayed on at the mission to serve as head of the Men’s rehabilitation center serving the Lord.

When I met this gentleman, he was at peace, he was leading a fulfilled life serving the Lord.  He was an eloquent speaker, as he addressed our Lion’s Club gathering, we all saw a true leader whom Christ chose to build His Kingdom.

Romans 8:28 [Full Chapter]

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Commentary:

We are writing about serving our Lord while serving others. For many of us in our present circumstances, we face many challenges, some may have lost a loved one, some may be facing financial needs, family matters, and relationships, children growing up in a society filled with many distractions. The negativism of the news and even issues in churches and facing personal challenges affecting our walk with the Lord, are the mountains that we face daily.

So, you may ask how does this topic of ‘Live by the Spirit, Love our Lord, Serve others’ be relevant while one is facing a mountain of issues, as recited above? Life is to live the moment by knowing that our Lord loves us, and that we were known to Him before we were born, He knows us by name, He has a plan for each of us, He offers His care and above all He offers His Priceless Gift of Salvation.

Serving my Lord as defined:

Galatians 5: 13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Psalm 2:11   BY REJOICING IN HIS WORD,

11 Worship the Lord with reverence And rejoice with trembling.

Romans 15:17         TO PROCLAIMTHE SALVATION OF HIS REDEMPTION,

17 Therefore in Christ Jesus I have found reason for boasting in things pertaining to God.

2 Chronicles 19:9    TO SERVE HIMWHOLE HEARTEDLY  (NASB)

Then he charged them saying, “Thus you shall do in the fear of the Lord, faithfully and wholeheartedly.

Philippians 2: 3-8   COME TO HIM WITH HUMILITY   (NASB)

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Prayer:

Father in Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, we come and seek Your divine Blessings today and we thank You for Your Saving Grace.  Lord Your Unconditional Love for us we acknowledge knowing that You created it all for us and gave us humans dominion over all things, but man tarnished your Creation, and Lord this Creation we address is man himself. Lord we thank you for removing that ‘Tarnish’ by Your Blood of Atonement. And by Your Redemption we are no longer a ‘Pawn” to the evil one, as You have Redeemed us and given us Your  Grace and made us Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom,

Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all You Divine Providence, In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus we pray. Amen.

Devotional for Wednesday: August 21, 2019

“In the Beginning” God created the heavens and the earth… Before this there was nothing.

Genesis 1:1 In Context

The Beginning ] In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

To start a book with this opening line… it a remarkable statement as it boldly said, this is where it all began, meaning there was nothing… a vast emptiness, void of form and indescribable as there exist no place like this. We can describe a vast jungle, and the vastness of space, and the emptiness of space, but there is nothing like the formless emptiness void of life and vegetation.

Ephesians 1:4

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

1 Peter 1:20

He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake

TOPIC: Let’s take the steps to Victory……  From a Cave to a Palace

TEXT: Genesis 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Genesis 1:2-4 (in Context) Genesis 1 (Whole Chapter)

COMMENTARY: Good News… We are no longer captive! We are Free because through our Lord Jesus we are no longer ‘slaves’ to the darkness of this world.  Because He is Light; When God said… “Let there be Light” God was calling on His Son –Yeshua-Jesus

Genesis 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

As we read, the word of God…”Let us’ make mankind in ‘our-image’ and in ‘our likeness’ this is a ‘Key’ factor of who you are, as we are made in His Likeness, we will never die. What? Yes… we are mortals on earth but immortal in Him.

EVENING:

The Good News is…  Jesus’ Triumphant Resurrection to Life-Everlasting. And as the Angels declared…

 Luke 2:10

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. Luke 2:9-11 (in Context) Luke 2 (Whole Chapter)

We thank you for coming to our Lord and Savior, who is our Redeemer. We wish to thank you for accepting Jesus. Jesus our Sovereign God will guide you. And we would like to invite you to consider enrolling in a Bible Study Group, go to the LINK Page and select www.bsfinternational.org and find a BSF group and enroll to be a member.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we thank You for this Privilege of bringing Your Good News and Lord bless our Visitors and be with us as we go in Faith. Lord let Your providence be upon us all as we give You thanks and in You we have Victory, we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… amen.

Devotional for Tuesday: August 20, 2019

How do you know that God sees you? Faith is the belief in something unseen, Yes, He sees us… Because He said so, and He said even the hair on our heads are numbered.

The TABLE OF GRACE:

“Lord let the Fruits from the work that you have given me Adorn Your Table of Grace…For You my Lord has set a table in front of our enemies and our enemy is also against You Lord, as we give You the Glory; and You said love our enemies”…

Grace is as tangible as what? Can we see Grace? Yet Grace is defined in the Webster as… The Definition of GRACE

a : unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification

b : a virtue coming from God

c : a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace…

Paul said in 2nd Corinthians 12: 9

And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses,

Paul was who was chosen by Jesus to be a ‘Vessel’ bearing the Word of Salvation, was also speaking of his personal experience, but speaking in third party instances so that he would not be exalting himself, here is a man that was a persecutor of Christian, a man that witness the stoning of Steven to death, now redeemed as a servant of the Most High, speaking as a privileged individual when he made this statement… Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord.

As we see was Paul taken into Heaven?  Yes, Who God chooses to serve Him, such person will experience His calling…

Prior to Paul’s conversion, we would place Paul in the category of; Those than do not love, they do not know our Lord…

As we read that three days after Paul was struck down by our Lord, he started to preach Christ Crucified, here was a man just days before stood holding the clothes of Steven and watching a man being put to death, but within days was transformed by the Grace of God.

 2 Corinthians 12

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Paul’s Vision

12 Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a man was caught up to the third heaven. And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows— was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.  On behalf of such a man I will boast; but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in regard to my weaknesses. For if I do wish to boast I will not be foolish, for I will be speaking the truth; but I refrain from this, so that no one will credit me with more than he sees in me or hears from me.

And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

The Wise and Foolish Builders

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

EVENING:

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Conclusion:

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come, Lord Jesus thank You for Your invitation to join You and be a part of Your Kingdom…. Lord we thank You for this privilege as we share this Good News with our Visitors. Lord be with us all as we go in faith knowing that all things will work for good through Your Divine providence. We pray in Your Holy name and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Monday: August 19,2019

Who said belief is good, but control is better? It wasn’t God as He gave us ‘Free-will’

The evidence of ‘Free-Will’ is seen in the Garden of Eden, as the Lord said…

Not to eat of…

Genesis 2:17

but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

Not only did God gave us Free-will. He also gave us ‘Power’ and revealed His secrets to us. Do you know this?

Not by might but by power in the Holy Spirit…

Zechariah 4:6 In Context

So, he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.

He Saved us…

Titus 3:5

he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,

The Faithfulness of the Father…

Philippians 4:19 [Full Chapter]

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Jesus is the Same Yesterday, tomorrow and forever…

The assurance of Jesus to His disciples not to take bread, money or even a space change of clothes, His Word still stands, and we are assured of this…

Romans 8: 32-39

God’s Everlasting Love

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can beagainst us? 32 He who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Praise the Eternal Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:5

one Lord, one faith, one baptism; In Context | Full Chapter

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we come to thank You for Your Grace, Your Love and Your Redemption. Lord, we know that unless You build it, it shall not last. Lord we thank you for being the Solid Rock on which we stand. Lord bless this mission and let it be a blessing for many, as we dedicate this to You for Your Glory.  Lord let this endeavor be fruitful and we thank You Lord for our Visitors and we ask your Divine Blessing on each one. Devotional for Sunday: August 18, 019

Sunday is a day of Praise, family gathering, and the traditional Sunday dinner. Is this describing a bygone day? Would you trade today for the past? the future is better, because of Jesus, the future will be unparalleled.

Today as we say… because of Jesus, the future will be better.

We once said to know of Jesus is one thing, but to know Him and accept Him is Living with Him.

Here we read the historical interview of Albert Einstein in the Saturday Evening Post…

“I am a Jew, but I am enthralled by the luminous figure of the Nazarene…. No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus.”― Albert Einstein

Undoubtedly, Einstein knew of Jesus and believed that he existed and even was impressed by Jesus, but was this enough to say that Einstein was a believer?

The Jesus said…

John 3:3

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

John 3  (NIV)

3 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

“How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

“How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.

10 “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man. 14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

The apostle Paul wrote, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you are bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20).

When we accept Christ the third Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, will be living in him. When an individual accepts Christ as personal Savior, the Holy Spirit gives the believer the life of God, eternal life, which is really His very nature (Titus 3:52 Peter 1:4),

What a privilege the Father has given us through His Son. Jesus the Messiah.  Our Redeemer and our Mediator.

Thank Him today and give Jesus the Glory as we go in faith today knowing that in Christ we have passed from death to everlasting Life.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we thank You for sending Your Son Jesus.  Lord Jesus we gather to Praise You knowing that You are One with the Father, and Lord as we acknowledge You before all and affirm You as our Messiah, Redeemer and Mediator, we seek Your Divine blessing on our Visitors and us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore... Amen

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Devotional for Saturday: August 17, 2019

Let this be a day of meditating on the teaching of Jesus as he spent His three years with his disciples. As said the world cannot contain what Jesus did, so read on…

As the Bible said if all what God did, the whole world could not contain it.  Is this a reckless statement… No! The universe is endless, and is probably more than a quadrillion structure, with each a unique formation. The world’s fastest super-computer can handle 200 Petaflop which is now the SUMMIT® in the USA, by 2021 this will be eclipsed advancing beyond petaflop capability. But still God’s creation is still above our capabilities.

Imagine the minute details of the life of:

The Ants, the Bees, the Birds they all have a structure of a hierarchy that governs.

The fish and mammals, the wild animals and us humans. All this and everything

God Created, if they were to be in written form in details, just thing of the data-base and the capacity of storage.

Jesus said… John 8:12

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.” In Context | Full Chapter |

How strong is your faith?

TEXT: Matthew 14: 28 Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” 29 And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”31 Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 When they got into the boat, the wind stopped. 33 And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!”

Commentary: The saying… ‘Keep your eyes on the Doughnut and not the hole’ this American saying is telling us focus on what counts.  The ‘hole’ is nothing, it is the Doughnut that counts.  Peter was looking at the waves and not looking at Jesus.  Keep our eyes focused on Jesus; He is the Light of the World.

In life we do the same, we worry about the 'What-Ifs' and not where we are. ‘Today is what counts, none of us knows what tomorrow will bring. But we have the ‘Assurance’ of our Lord Jesus that He said... “I came that you may have life and have it more abundantly” 2 Peter 1:3-4 New International Version (NIV)

Confirming One’s Calling and Election

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

God’s endowment to us all… Do not worry.

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

The ‘Choppy-Water’

2 Timothy 3

New International Version (NIV)

3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Rest assured… We do have the Victory in Christ as you will read below, separating us from the travails of the times described by Paul.

What a Privilege that our Lord has given us… For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. - 1 John 5:4

Prayer:

Father we thank You today in Jesus name. Jesus Messiah, we come and Praise You our Sovereign God in One of our Father our Creator and thank you Lord for Your Divine Redemption. Lord just as Jonah relented and was directed to render to the Ninevites Your Salvation. We go forth today bringing Your Good News to the worldwide web Lord we thank You for this privilege, and we ask Your Divine Blessing to our visitors of this Website and Lord grant You favors to us all. In Your Holy Name we pray… Amen

Praise: To God be the Glory…

Devotional for Friday: August 16, 2019

While many celebrate TGIF, we want to thank the Lord for another week of serving Him,

Thank God it’s Friday (TGIF) We thank Him for the privilege of serving for another week.

Commentary:

Ready to have a wonderful weekend?  The TGIF slogan of Thank God it’s a Friday, the end of the week … Phil 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.  Happy Monday!

Jesus said… Matthew 10: 30, 32, 33  And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.

Stop to think… Looking up and Thanking our Father, that He chose us and you because He has a mission for us all… and before the Creation of the World He Chose Jesus to Redeem us and to be made Holy and Blameless in His Sight… How Gracious is our God, Jesus our Messiah, Thank You Father in Jesus name… Amen.

His Promise:

We are safe in Christ; Life circumstances cannot separate you from His Love. Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

His Faithfulness:

Matthews 10: 40 “Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. 41 Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. 42 And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”

Devotion:

As we step out in Faith today, let us take the baton and run to the finish line knowing that our Lord and Savior who is the Author and Finisher of our Faith is there waiting to award His Priceless Gift.

What a privilege our Lord has given us, this is far more valuable that all Olympic Gold Medals as the Olympic Gold is worth only $620.70 each. Imagine being CO-HEIR with  Jesus? Yes, and this is already confirmed, not just something we wish for and have to earn, it is already given to us, all we have to do is to receive it. There are no Judges, no dispute or can anyone contest it, as it is GIVEN by The Almighty!

“HIS GRACE IS GRANTED TO US THROUGH HIS CRUCIFIXION AND RESURRECTION AT CALVARY” HE IS OFFERING HIS PRICELESS GIFT OF SALVATION TO US; IT IS GIVEN BY HIS UNCONDITONAL LOVE.

Coming to our Lord:

Come and receive His Gift to us all, it is Un-Merited as we did not earn it, nor can we buy it is by His Graciousness that we can be a beneficiary.  As He did set us apart from this world  1 Corinthians 12: 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

Our Lord cleared the way for us to come to HIM:

1 Thessalonians 3:11
Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you.
1 Thessalonians 3:10-12 (in Context) 1 Thessalonians 3 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:

Hebrews 4:14
Jesus the Great High Priest ] Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
Hebrews 4:13-15 (in Context) Hebrews 4 (Whole Chapter)

Jesus is Supreme… Hebrews 5:5

New International Version (NIV)

In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him,

“You are my Son;
today I have become your Father.”

Prayer:

Gracious God our Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus because You are Holy and by Your Redemption we were redeemed by Your Grace, Lord by Your Sacrifice at Calvary we can come boldly to You Lord; as You said come and You will give us Rest. Lord today as we go forward in Faith, equip us and enable us by your Holy Spirit and lead us to Green Pastures and Still Water of Life. We seek you Lord and Praise You for Your Unconditional Love and Thank You for Your Graciousness. In Your Holy name we pray Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Thursday: August 15, 2019

Who can we help today? Maybe you could use some help too… help is here, all you must do is ask.

When the blindman came up to Jesus, He asked what the blind person wanted him to do.

There are many panhandlers walking with signs, and many go unnoticed without receiving anything.  But, if they walk up to you and ‘ask’ then it is necessary to give, why? Because you were asked.

What have you asked of God today? Remember all things are possible in His Name… Believe it and receive it.

We ask so much of the Lord… However, He did say…” Come unto to me” and He also said we are to bring our burdens to Him.

TEXT:

Mark 11:24

Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

We are to thank God continually and thank Him because His Word as stated by Jesus as the two important of all commandments…

Mark 12: 29-31  29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

 Romans 8:28 [Full Chapter]

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

FOCUS:  Followers of Jesus Christ were first known Christian in the period of the church formation in Antioch; - and they were also referred to as ‘Oily’ and today many would not want to be known as ‘Oily’ but being ‘Oily’ is to be anointed and be Set-Apart…

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Romans 8:28-32Good News Translation (GNT)

28 We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him,[a] those whom he has called according to his purpose. 29 Those whom God had already chosen he also set apart to become like his Son, so that the Son would be the first among many believers. 30 And so those whom God set apart, he called; and those he called, he put right with himself, and he shared his glory with them.

God's Love in Christ Jesus

31 In view of all this, what can we say? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 Certainly not God, who did not even keep back his own Son, but offered him for us all! He gave us his Son—will he not also freely give us all things?

Enjoy the Journey as the destination will be a real Paradise,

Relationships: Our Lord said…Matthew 6:14 For; if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Matthew 6:15
But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

1 Timothy 1:15

New International Version (NIV)

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners — of whom I am the worst.

1 John 4:10  NIV
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

EVENING: We can come to the Throne of Righteousness in Prayer knowing that our High Priest our Redeemer Jesus Christ intercedes for us and by His Grace we are Saved… Amen

Prayer… Lord let me be humble and by brotherly love nor pre-judge anyone. Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You.  leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore; Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broaden and grant our audience that seek You Lord; safety and as You said Lord. ” You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

A reminder to our visitors, keep looking to our Lord to be the Author and Finisher of your Faith… God Loves you, and come to Jesus as He is your Mediator and your Sovereign God in One of His Divine Holy Trinity in His Father our Creator and His Holy Spirit. †††

Devotionals for Wednesday: August 14, 2019

Imagine the peace, beauty and splendor of heaven at this moment, no news, no conflict, no politics, and only the presence of the Lord. Yes, it’s there filled with Joy and it’s more than we can imagine.

Today we get the news on the radio, the internet, the TV and even from our phones. The news is no longer news, it is more opinions of the presenter expounding a commentary spreading their agenda.

Merit no longer applies, the action of even a good deed rendered, it becomes politically slanted. It is no wonder why it took forty years for the Israelites to get to the promised land. Because, without the unity having the delight in the Lord, nothing will happen.

The Providence of the Lord will fall upon you as you delight yourself in the Lord.
We may wonder how is it that some individuals that are bordering on being anti-Christ may be enjoying the stability of wealth? When its time, their wealth will be consumed and be used by the righteous ones.

Proverbs 13:22 - In Context |

A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, And the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.

Proverbs 24:19

Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked:

1 Corinthians 2:9

but just as it is written, “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the heart of man, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Eden’  The Bible said eyes have not seen, nor can we imagine the beauty of Heaven.   Heaven is described as a city where the streets are like glass, made from pure gold. But the real Radiance in Heaven will be our Lord Jesus.

In our cities today vandals steal the aluminum and copper wiring; just imagine streets paved with gold here on earth, an unthinkable thought.  It takes more than just the thief to destroy homes and public places when they steal , it takes a dealer that will purchase the stolen goods. If there were no one that would buy stolen copper or aluminum, or stolen art etc. If this was so, we could leave the museum open all night and the Mona Lisa would remain intact.

But there will always be a ‘Fence’ buyer of stolen goods, so this illicit cycle continues.  Are there anyone with  ill-begotten items, money or even wealth among us?  Is winning the lottery considered ill-begotten, in many ways, yes, why? this form of gambling ‘steals’ from the poor the elderly one dollar at a time. Gambling is a ‘false pursuit’ why?  no one can beat the system that is stacked against the gamblers. Why?  it ‘steals’ from others and occasionally pays out a winning so that this vicious cycle will continue to drain those that gamble.  If you are the sole survivor from a sinking ship because you took the only lifeboat and left all on board to perish, how would you live through this unconscionable experience of ‘stealing’ the lifeboat? Could you live knowing that you took the only lifeboat leaving your friends and families to go down with the sinking ship?

Today we want to share the Gospel, which is the Good News, why, if we found a cure for cancer and did not tell anyone, would this be a form of stealing from many? Yes, we would be stealing the lives of those that could use this CURE.  So as not to be hoarding the CURE, we want to offer more than the cure for what ails mankind.

We are not re-organizing the deck chairs on the Titanic; we are sounding the alarm that there is a lifeboat ready to take all to safety.

Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV) 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Father in Heaven in Jesus we come… Lord Jesus today we thank you for coming and we thank You for Your Divine Grace and Your Redemption from Sin.  Lord because of Your Righteousness we are able to come to The Father through You and because of Your Blood of Atonement we are saved. Lord Jesus be with our Visitors and grant us all Your Favors as we go in faith knowing that Your Angels encamps around us , Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Tuesday: August 13, 2019

Do you wish it was Christmas morning? The sharing of presents and sweet smell of coffee and scones? Yes, it will be here again, very soon…

December 25th known as Christmas, a day we prefer to say “Christ-Mas” which we defined as Christ for the Masses. Yes, Jesus the ‘Christ’ the Holy anointed One of God, who came as God Emanuel, meaning God among us, this same Jesus will return.

As said in the Bible, a day is like a thousand years. Yet, we acknowledge that God created the world in six (6) days and not six thousand years.

Remembering that we do not know everything, because if we did, we would be god, for this reason why He is God, and we are not.

Our society is full of opinions, we form our own ideas, me make up many rules and even make up religion substituting God’s principles and laws.

In fact, many are molding their own opinion of the Lord.

Atheist will say if God is good, why did he allow evil, and how can a gracious loving god allow his creation to go to hell. The answer is God did not allow evil… evil is caused by the absence of God.

A few days ago we had a severe lightning storm that blew out our internet router, while observing the intensity of the storm, standing in the post office and waiting to get to the car, I said to the people gathered… let’s see am atheist take his umbrellas and stand in a puddle holding it up high during the lightning strike. Right at that moment a bolt of lightning flashed. I guess if there were any atheist present, this may have given then some knowledge that there exists a Higher-Power.

This reminds us of the church sign…

Honk if you love God, text and drive if you want to meet him early.

The return of Jesus will be the permanent ChristMAS, as He Jesus will dwell among us forever.

John 1:14 - In Context

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Revelation 21:3 - In Context

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

Let us enjoy the once in a lifetime interplanetary message below… (when playing the YouTube video after viewing, click the back button in the browser to return to our site.)

Here's the scene: It's Christmas Eve, 1968. The spaceship with three men on board had hurtled toward the moon for three days, and they have now finally entered the moon's orbit, a move requiring a maneuver so dicey that just a tiny mistake could have sent the men off into an unwieldy elliptical orbit or crashing to the moon's surface. But all went smoothly, and they are orbiting the moon. On their fourth pass (of 10), astronaut William Anders snaps the famous Earthrise shot that will appear in Life magazine. On their ninth orbit, they begin a broadcast down to Earth. Astronaut Frank Borman introduces the men of the mission, and, then, this:

"And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God said, 'Let there be light," Borman read. And it was so.

Prayer:

Devotional for Monday: August 12th, 2019

The hot days of summer… the sweltering heat plus the burden was unbearable for Jonah, how about you?

As Jonah was fleeing the Lord, he was sitting in a field with the sweltering sun, but the Lord caused a plant to grow giving him shade…

Jonah 4:6

And the Lord God prepared a plant and made it come up over Jonah, that it might be shade for his head to deliver him from his misery. So, Jonah was very grateful for the plant.

But at dawn the next day God provided a worm, which chewed the plant so that it withered. When the sun rose, God provided a scorching east wind, and the sun blazed on Jonah’s head so that he grew faint. He wanted to die, and said, “It would be better for me to die than to live.”

But God said to Jonah, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?”

“It is,” he said. “And I’m so angry I wish I were dead.”

10 But the Lord said, “You have been concerned about this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight. 11 And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?”

Jonah did go, but he was angry as Nineveh was not his people…

Jonah 3  (NIV)

3 Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time:“Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you.”

Jonah obeyed the word of the Lord and went to Nineveh. Now Nineveh was a very large city; it took three days to go through it. Jonah began by going a day’s journey into the city, proclaiming, “Forty more days and Nineveh will be overthrown.” The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.

When Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust. This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh:

“By the decree of the king and his nobles:

Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink. But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.”

10 When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.

Commentary

So, how about you and us? Thinking of Jonah and the heat, he was given relief, and he forgot to give thanks to God.

So, remember to thank the Lord for His mercies.

An observation made, back when Jonah was sweltering in the heat, he became faint, to faith by a heat stroke the temperature would be over 100 F or 37C, which is what we are calling global warming today. We need to remind everyone that Jonah’s experience was in the year 793 BC.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come in Jesus our Lord and Savior… Lord Jesus we thank You in the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit today for Your Divine mercies. Father-God, Holy Messiah we pause to know that You Lord Jesus holds all things together. Lord bless our Visitors and us all as we go in faith to victory. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Devotional for Sunday: August 11, 2019

Spend your time wisely… Attend church today, your presence may be a blessing to others, and you will be surely blessed too…

Consider it an opportunity to bring joy and share the love of Christ.

As we gather let us look for the good things and forego all negativity.

The sermon may not be the topic that inspired you, but the theme should

Be linked to the Gospel.

If there’s no reference to the Good News of the Divine Redemption by

what Jesus did for us at Calvary, nor to acknowledge that it is by Grace that we are saved,

Then, what was the purpose of the worship?

We can present and talk about the events of the Bible and study about

The Kings and other events, but fellowship in Christ should be the main event.

Today, it is a day of Praise, so we go to give and to receive by being in the Body of Christ.

The Church and God’s Mission:

The Church is the Body of Christ, and Jesus is the First Born, He is Alpha & Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, and the ending is to be with our Lord and Savior in a sanctified place of Splendor a place not made by human hands. Ephesians 1: 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

Insight for today

We are to live for the Glory of God not the glory of Self, serving others in His name is laying up treasures in Heaven. as he commanded: “Love one Another”

Text: Ephesians 1: 20-23

20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

We are reflecting on the early church of Corinth, and what the Apostles faced in  proclaiming the Gospels.  In cities like Ephesus; Acts 19:26
And you see and hear how this fellow Paul has convinced and led astray large numbers of people here in Ephesus and in practically the whole province of Asia. He says that gods made by human hands are no gods at all. Acts 19:25-27 (in Context) Acts 19 (Whole Chapter)

The silversmiths caused a riot as Paul turned many away from worshipping their idols, the silversmiths were losing business, as Paul told the worshippers, what good is an idol that not able to stand unless it was nailed down, and what can a dumb idol do for them.

The Mission of Jesus Christ:

Ephesians 1: 11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

We are to gather in the Body of Christ, and in To SEEK the Kingdom of GOD! To Walk in Faith, knowing that the Kingdom of God goes forth in TRUTH & POWER with JESUS at the Throne, knowing that Jesus is in Charge. The Solution is not More Religion, but to be More like Christ.

Keep Watching and remain Faithful brothers and sisters, remember, this is what we have coming as ‘The Best is Yet to Come’

In the twinkling of an Eye… we will be transformed into His Likeness…

1 Corinthians 15:52
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  Thank Your Lord Jesus… Amen

Prayer:

Father we thank You in Jesus our Lord and Savior.  Lord because of Your saving Grace, we can boldly come and praise Your wonderful name Jesus Messiah. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and Your Divine providence on us all.  To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Saturday: August 10, 2019

Darkness is the absence of Light, Evil is the absence of God, Jesus is the answer…

Count the blessings, look beyond the obstacle, the Best is yet to Come…
The apostle Paul spoke about giving thanks in whatever state we are in….

Philippians 4:11

Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:

In Context | Full Chapter

Philippians 4:4-7

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=PhilipVpians%204:4&version=NI

What obstacle do you face today? Compare it to what the Lord has brought you through…

Jesus was here on earth simultaneously when John the Baptist was imprisoned by Herod, and eventually killed by Herod. Why Jesus didn’t stop Herod?  John’s mission was completed and what Herod did was in fact ‘Sending John back home to Glory’

John 12:24  Jesus said this…

Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. In Context | Full Chapter

Each of us is a ‘Seed’ and many good are derived through the endowments, done in memory of a loved one, and dedicated in memory of someone or an event.

Example:  The Vietnam Memorial in Washington, DC, A healing place.

A newly published study suggests that PTSD is relieved by visiting,  it does, although multiple visits are apparently required for the positive effect to take hold. The paper, in the journal of Environment and Behavior, looks at the impact of the memorial on veterans' post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms.

Even this lay ministry was spawned out of the founder’s beloved wife who wrote a daily letter to the Lord as she passed her journal on at her passing.  Nevertheless… all commitments are made solely for the Glory of the Father, through Jesus our Redeemer…

Philippians 2:11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. In Context | Full Chapter

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

  1. Factually our Lord is not asking for your love because of fear of Him. He said “If we love Him keep His commandments”  Just like when He came, He came as a Man and not as a King or as God Incarnate, The angel did make known… Matthew 1: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”
  2.  1 John 3:22 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. 1 John 3:21-23 (in Context)
  3. 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. 1 John 5:2-4 (in Context)

Conclusion:

We have mentioned “The Best is yet to Come” in the normal course of our daily lives, the demands of this world appears to be moving at a faster pace more than ever.  In a world of reality, the health, financial and relationships often overshadow the real purpose of why we were created.

Genesis 1:27

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. In Context

Genesis 1: 28- 31 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

2 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

Today as we start a new work week, let us affirm the preeminence of Christ as He is our Mediator, our Redeemer, our eternal Lord and Savior.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we come through Jesus our Lord and Savior… Lord Jesus thank You for this opportunity to come and give You our Praises and to affirm that all good things are from You knowing that You have said…”Never will I leave you nor forsake you” and in return Lord we give You preeminently our time seek Your Divine blessings upon our Visitors and us all.  To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Do you believe there are cures for many life-threatening illnesses? Why are we not being told?

Among the life-threatening illness, we may not consider worry to be one.  But it is really not life-threatening, unless you have a panic attack, that at some point during the panic attack, that they may think they are going to die. The physiological outcome can mimic a heart attack (shortness of breath, chest pains, dizziness, and tingling). In fact, up to 25% of people who visit emergency rooms because of chess-pain are actually experiencing panic, according to MedicineNet.com and other sources. What is actually happening is your body is reacting to an increase in adrenaline.

While there are many break-through medical treatments, stem-cell procedures are effective. Using the proper source of the stem-cell the claims are bordering on being miraculous.

Unless the procedure or the drugs can be patented and be exploited, big pharma will not publicize the availability of a remedy.

Anxiety is something Jesus spoke about, as He said ‘Do not worry’

And the Lord provided sources of how to cure many diseases, as follows…

Revelation 22:2 New International Version (NIV)

2.

down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

As said…All we ever need to know, the answers are in the Bible.

Jesus said a lot on the issue of ‘Fear’ and fear fuels anxiety.

Matthew 6:25-34 [Full Chapter]

Do Not Worry ] “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? ...

His Promise:

The key factor is to live by his precepts of Matthew 6:33
live reverently and not ritually to please our lord

Because we are created in His likeness so we will never Die
Place value on the treasures in heaven

To place Him first
My job is to present Christ and lift Him up before all
What matters to God

We serve others in our vocation that our Lord gave us
Our life's experience are lessons to be used to lead Others to Christ.
Living. By the precepts of Matthew 6:33

His Faithfulness:

God gave us his assignments but we were given specific work so that we would come to him for His grace and Blessings
He could have given us fruit without having to plant it so why did He needs us to plough, plant and cultivate, He gave us these functions so that we would seek his guidance

Our work regardless of what we do, does it help others?
Personally I am privileged to be a vessel for my Lord, and we all must seek to be an ambassador for HIM. I need my Lord's blessings to be focused to be His vessel for His Glory.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Jeremiah 29:11-13: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.’

Prayer:

Lord Jesus thank You for Your Graciousness and by Faith we can come and by Your Redeeming Blood, Your Holy Spirit is upon us. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your Divine blessing on us all. To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotional for Thursday: August 8th, 2019

Touching lives… finding ways to bring the Gospel forward, why? Because it is Good News.

When we serve others by spreading the Good News, we are sprinkling the Fragrance of our Lord Jesus, and we also get the sweet-smelling fragrance on ourselves… meaning that we are privileged to be a Vessel bearing the sweet smell of our Lord and Redeemer, and while we spread His Fragrance our Lord also blesses us with His Grace…

2 Corinthians 2:15

New King James Version (NKJV)

15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

As we look to the Day of Pentecost (50 days following the Passover) we read how Jesus fulfilled His promise of sending the Holy Spirit to His disciples after He ascended into Heaven.

Scripture Reference:

Acts 2:1-41

Day of Pentecost - Event Summary:

The Day of Pentecost marked a turning point in the early Christian church. Pentecost a Jewish feast was celebrated 50 days after Passover, and pilgrims had come to Jerusalem from all over the world to participate in the event.

The 12 Apostles were gathered together in a house when a terrific wind came from heaven and filled the place. They saw tongues that looked like fire, which separated and came down on each of them.

Immediately the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit who caused them to speak in Tongues The crowds of visitors were astonished because every pilgrim heard the apostles speaking to him or her in their own foreign language! Some accused the apostles of being drunk.

The Apostle Peter stood and addressed them, saying they were not drunk. It was only nine o'clock in the morning. Then, empowered by the Holy Spirit, Peter preached boldly to them, explaining about Jesus Christ and God’s Plan for Salvation.

The crowd was so moved when Peter told them of their part in Jesus' Crucifixion that they asked the apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" (Acts 2:37, NIV)

The right response, Peter told them, was to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins. He promised that they would receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

They took the gospel message to heart. About 3,000 people were baptized and added to the fledgling Christian church on that Day of Pentecost.

Hebrews 5

New International Version (NIV)

Hebrews 5

1 Every high priest is selected from among the people and is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. 2 He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness. 3 This is why he has to offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the sins of the people. 4 And no one takes this honor on himself, but he receives it when called by God, just as Aaron was.

5 In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him,

   “You are my Son;
today I have become your Father.”

6 And he says in another place,

   “You are a priest forever,
   in the order of Melchizedek.”

7 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 8 Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered 9and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Warning Against Falling Away

11 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. 12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

2 Corinthians 6:2 New International Version (NIV)

For he says,

“In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you.”

I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

Romans 4:25 New International Version (NIV)

25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we thank You for this Privilege of bringing Your Good News and Lord bless our Visitors and be with us as we go in Faith. Lord let Your providence be upon us all as we give You thanks and in You, we have Victory, we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… amen.

Devotional for Wednesday: August 7, 2019

He (God) alone will be the Judge… Let us not judge one another…

Matthew 7 [Full Chapter]

Judging Others ] “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? ...

John 5:24

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

The World today is a blend of what the Bible described in the day of Noah, and certain cities of the world is very much like the city of Corinth known as a city of unbridled sin.

As we journey through this life, what do we have that will be considered Worthy to be presented to our Creator? Nothing is probably the answer.   In the eyes of man, all of what will be considered worthy for our Lord will be worthless, as our goodness is like a dirty rag.  The only worthy gift we can bring to our Lord was Paid for by Him, in the eyes of man, this is considered ‘Intangibles’; because to many even the Miracles performed by our Lord would be classified as intangible.  Nothing we have here on Earth will be taken with us… Therefore, do not Blend-In, Shine by Being a child of God.

Through Jesus our Redeemer we were given the privilege of coming to the Cross, receiving His Grace and by His Grace we are saved. So, as Children of God, we are victorious in Christ, our Theme today is… ‘ be Joyful and know that our Redeemer Lives’  and He is coming back as He said.  What a Glorious day that will be.

Principle:       The ‘Tangible’ things of this world are worthless in the sight of God, the Gift of Salvation by Faith, which is unseen, to man this is intangible, but to our Savior it is “Priceless’

Text:

  1. Romans 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
  2. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  3. Commentary:

To modern man, the terms ‘Sin’ and ‘enslavement’ are highly offensive. Yet society is made up of people that fit right under the ‘enslavement’ category. Enslavement is defined as…to be subjugated or be conquered by someone.

The teaching of Christianity focuses on … Colossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.

Just like a debtor is subject to the terms of the debt, someone said, corporate enslavement is a high interest Credit Card debt. Why? Because with interest rates as high as 20+ percent, the minimum payment will never pay off this debt, this is in fact enslavement, to be a slave to sin is an enslavement by the devil. To be under the influence of anyone that controls your action is an enslavement. Right now, our Lord can break this Bondage of Enslavement…Remember He said… We should not fear what man can do to us… Hebrews 13: 1-6

Thoughts for the Day: 1 Corinthians 1:9

God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

TOPIC: 2 Timothy 1:9

He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 2 Timothy 1:8-10 (in Context) 2 Timothy 1

TEXT:  Matthew 9: 9 As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come. Jesus our Messiah, our King our Lord we are humbled by Your Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, in You Lord Jesus we have Victory, as You were Victorious in Your Divine Resurrection. Lord we thank You for Your Grace, we thank You for the privilege of serving You and reaching many for Your Glory, Lord we ask Your Favors upon us all and for our Visitors to come and know You and have Your Redemption, as we look to that day when we shall see You as You are. Lord Jesus we pray and thank You; and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Tuesday: August 6th, 2019

To be disillusioned or to spread disillusion, both are dangerous to us all.

TEXT:  Luke 12:17-19 New King James Version (NKJV)

17 And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’ 18 So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.”

The statement of…” Still Lacking” follows:

20 But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’

21 “So is he who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.”

Place your value of the treasures in Heaven… That new car will be just a piece of metal that will be obsolete in a few years.

Your money in the bank is eroding away as inflation is eating away at it.

Only what’s done for Christ will last…

The story of the wealthy person that died and, in his will,,  he told his accountant that all his money must be buried with him, his attorney came to the burial and asked the accountant, how much money will you be placing in the grave? The account said about a million dollars, they attorney quickly pulled out his check book and wrote a check for a million dollars and said, let me have the cash and place my check in the hole.

We all need what we refer to as ‘walk-around money’… but the disciples when sent by Jesus, they were told not to take anything with them.

Luke 9:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece.

Today we reflect on the instruction from Jesus…

Matthew 6:33-34  (NKJV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

Ephesians 4:5

one Lord, one faith, one baptism; In Context

Let us govern our lives by knowing this…

Romans 11:33-36  (NKJV)

33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has become His counselor?”
35 “Or who has first given to Him
And it shall be repaid to him?”

36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things,

to whom be glory forever. Amen.

In Your precious name we pray Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Devotional for Sunday: August 4, 2019

A day of Praise, let this be the Lord’s Day… Let it be a day of Renewal…

Funny Church sign… “Honk if you love Jesus, text and drive if you want to meet Him”.

Texting and driving are now banned, and it is now a legal offense. Many suffered their fate by texting while driving, and some texting and walking as well.

Introducing a Friend…

Today I will introduce a Friend, and my introduction will be based on His life, His care for me and His unmatched graciousness.

This friend visited earth 2,019 years ago, He came under a very unorthodox auspice of being born without an earthly father, His mother was a Virgin, and many wanted to make Him a king.

During His 33 years, He did many things that are still mind-baffling, He also made an astounding claim… He said, “I Am not of this world”.  He even claimed that before Abraham was, He was…

John 8:58  “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

He declared that He was at the day of Creation with God the Father…

John 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.

Jesus in no new kid on the block… He was declared on the first day, when God said…

Genesis 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

John 8: 58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

John 1:1-3 NIV)

The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

And Jesus is Sovereign…Colossians 1:16

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

Keep looking up, as the Bible said: This same Jesus will return. Acts 1:11

“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Deuteronomy 4:24-29

For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Hear the Heavenly Voice

25 See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven,26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” 27 Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Our Lord Jesus born in a Stable is also the Supreme God in One of the Father…

Colossians 1: 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Reconciled in Christ

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—

Prayer: Lord Jesus we are overwhelmed and are in Awe that You would leave You place of Paradise to come to this world of conflict for the sake of saving sinners like us. Lord because of Your Unconditional love for us Lord, we love You and we praise you for Your Graciousness. Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You and to be able to bring Your Good News to the ends of the earth for Your Glory. Lord we thank you for our Visitors and we ask Your Divine Grace and Providence upon each one. Lord be with us all and let Your Holy Spirit be In-Dwelling in us as we go in Faith looking to that day when we shall see You as You are Lord Jesus, to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The plan of mankind…’Food as a Weapon’.  This is the ultimate delusion of politicians.

The Plan of God… An Abundant Life and He provided a place where there will be a ‘more’ Abundant Life.

The ‘New-World Order’ is another form of ‘Let us build a Tower’ like the Tower of Babel…

Genesis 11 NKJV)

The Tower of Babel

11 Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.

The worldwide movement toward economic, financial, trade, and communications integration.

Globalization implies the opening of local and nationalistic perspectives to a broader outlook of an interconnected and interdependent world with free transfer of capital, goods, and services across national frontiers. However, it does not include unhindered movement of labor and, as suggested by some economists, may hurt smaller or fragile economies if applied indiscriminately. (Credit Businessdictionary.com)

As we read the news and the shooting and tragic outcome, many will immediately jump on the subject of Gun control and blame it on weapons. Remember, a truck is equally as deadly… what’s happening, is really the absence of God.

It’s not more gun control, as evil will always prevail when there is an absence of God.

Today more than ever people are being displaced because of wars, civil unrest, terrorism and uncertainty of the future.  But we want to express to our readers that nothing is New…  Mass-Migration existed in Europe, India, Middle East, Africa by the Transatlantic Slave Trade, and today we have the atrocities of war in Syria, Africa, Middle East displacing millions.

The Bible made referenced to this… Daniel 12:3-5 Version (NKJV)

Those who are wise shall shine
Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever.

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that riverbank.

Our message today is to highlight the unwavering Word of Jesus,

The most Re-Assuring words are…

Revelation 22:12

Jesus Testifies to the Churches] “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work. In Context |

While Jesus mentioned ‘According to his work’ we are highlighting that His Reward is brought to those who know Him, and He knows them… Because ’Work’ will not make us eligible for His Kingdom.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

The Reward is the Lord Himself, as He shall dwell among His people.

Revelation 21:3

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

Just think… when the ‘Rapture’ occurs, how would that person be flying on a plane at the moment of when the Rapture is in progress?

Matthew 24:31 In Context

And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

So, today as we keep looking up knowing the Words of Jesus will be fulfilled when the trumpet call is made.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus thank You for Your eternal Word, as Your angels will gather Your elect. Lord we look to that day as we ask Your blessing on our Visitors. To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Saturday: August 3, 2019.

What have you accomplished this week? Ending the week on a positive note.  Remember, finishing strong is better than a false start.

Many noted scientists and famous intellectuals were known ‘late-bloomers’ … Albert Einstein did not speak until he was four-year old. Einstein’s theory of relativity is still the rule of gravity…

Gravity is most accurately described by the general theory of relativity (proposed by Albert Einstein in 1915) which describes gravity not as a force, but as a consequence of the curvature of spacetime caused by the uneven distribution of mass.

Unstoppable… Our Lord is Unstoppable, because He is Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent.

Can you imagine that your needs are already known to the Lord?  One may ask… I have prayed and made my request known to the Lord and I still have not received my request. Sometimes our request is not what the Lord wants you to have.

We think we know it all, and there’s so much we do not know.  Because all we know is what we see, and as they say…seeing is believing, therefore all of our desires are based on what we can imagine based on what we do or is capable of doing.

Can we imagine beyond our capability? Is there a higher realm in which we may be serving the Lord?

Think on this… For sure Moses was thinking of going to the Promised Land, all through the 40 years of leading a few million people through the wilderness, for sure Moses had his desires of entering Canaan.  But we all know that Moses did not enter Canaan. The Lord allowed him to see the land, but he did not get there.

Was Moses’ plan a failure? Or was it a choice made by God? Obviously, it was a decision made by God.  The burial site of Moses nor his remains are nowhere to be found. But we read of Moses and Elijah returning to earth to confer with Jesus.

Just like Moses, we too may be looking at a more fulfilled life, a life of tranquility, a life with financial security, a healthy and long life; but like Moses God may have a more important assignment for each of us.

Join the winning team… Be a Victor and not the victim. Pray the Jabez prayer…

The four key points in the Prayer of Jabez are:

(To the Lord)

Oh. That You would bless me indeed,

And enlarge my territory,

That Your hand would be with me,

And that You would keep me from evil.

1: Seeking the Blessing from the Lord

2: Asking for the Lord’s providence to enlarge his Territory

3: Asking the Lord to keep His hands on him

4: Seeking to abide in the Lord and having God’s shield from the evil one.

While Jabez’s prayer may appear to be ‘self-serving’... Jabez was earnestly praying to have his territory enlarged and by this he meant having a mission field to give God the glory.  Jabez probably applied the principle of logics knowing if he received the blessing of God and had his territory enlarged, like every human-being when we get to this level the most important thing we need is to have the hands of God over us to keep us from being arrogant. And Jabez addressed this knowing that having the ‘enlarged’ territory usually leads to vulnerability from the fiery arrows of the evil one.

The four-lines of Jabez’s prayer made a complete prayer, a well thought out concise request to the Lord.

Commentary:

Just like the prayer of the sinner that said, Lord forgive me for I am a sinner…

His Faithfulness:

PEACE….

PEACE; A state of tranquility that we all desire.  How can we have peace?  The Peace of man is as good as an Ice Cube on Interstate 95 on a Hot-Summer day.

Only from our Lord can we have an Everlasting Peace. Real Peace by anyone on earth is still limited to a finite time.  So we call this a ‘Superficial’ Peace as it can only last till we face that fateful day; but, should we have FAITH in our Lord and accept His Covenant of His Salvation, then we will have Peace here and Peace in a place of Splendor, which will be an Infinite Everlasting Peace & Joy, fully sanctified in the presence of our Lord Jesus. What a privilege we have in Him, as Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and in Faith we can trust HIM.

Conclusion:

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are, we will be. Lord be with our Visitors, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Friday: August 2, 2019

The greatest gift you can ever have is waiting to be received, or you may have already accepted it and is in the realm of Joy and peace.

What if someone offered you a choice of…

A new house, a new luxury car, and five million dollars? But you are asked to make a choice of: A  Life spent in eternity with Jesus, which would you choose?

The new house, car and cash sound tempting, but the Life to be spent with Jesus is

What will outlast the house.

We prefer to choose a life with Jesus, because with Him we are in the presence of

God, and we also will have a house and there will be no need for car or money.

Come and buy without money, as said…

Isaiah 55:1

[ The Free Offer of Mercy ] “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, and buy wine
milk Without money and without cost.

Praise our Lord as we take delight in Him.   Knowing that He made you more than a conqueror, we can boldly go being fearless knowing that… 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Psalm 37:4 [Full Chapter]

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Focus: Come and buy without money… “If all it took was money anyone could do it”

For He Chose us in Him before the Creation of the World to be Holy and blameless in His Sight… So, you are special.

Text:   1 Peter 2:9

New International Version (NIV)

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Conclusion:

Hebrews 4:14
Jesus the Great High Priest] Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
Hebrews 4:13-15 (in Context) Hebrews 4 (Whole Chapter)

Jesus is Supreme… Hebrews 5:5 New International Version (NIV)

In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him,

“You are my Son;
today I have become your Father.”

Prayer:

Gracious God our Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus because You Are Holy and by Your Redemption we were redeemed by Your Grace, Lord by Your Sacrifice at Calvary we can come boldly to You Lord; as You said come and You will give us Rest. Lord today as we go forward in Faith, equip us and enable us by your Holy Spirit, grant to our Visitors Your Providence and lead us to Green Pastures and Still Water of Life. We seek You Lord and Praise You for Your Unconditional Love and Thank You for Your Graciousness. In Your Holy name we pray Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Thursday: August 1, 2019

Jesus gave us each equal opportunity; did you use yours?  it is never lost, gain it today, use it and be empowered.

The Power in you can conquer the forces of evil, use it and declare victory.

Text:

The Power of positive thinking and How to win friends and influence people, these were among the early self-help books that many of us have read.

Over the years I found that the writing of people like Napoleon Hill, Carnegie and other motivational speakers were useful.  However, I also learned that there is a limit to what the books said. I believe that each of the authors needed to insert the appropriate disclaimer…

A warning…Not to lean on our own understanding;

Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

Remember…. Don’t get too busy today that will cause you to miss God’s blessings…

How much time do you allocate to confer with the Lord?  Is a few minutes at the start of the day and a few minutes at the end of the day? Or; do you constantly confer with Him?

God is never too busy to hear us. You can come to Him at any time. How would you like to be awakened by the ringing phone only to know that the caller is a telemarketer trying to sell you health insurance, or worse yet and extended warranty on the car that you no longer own.

While we are annoyed by the interruptions, our Lord is ready to welcome us even at 3 AM.

So, don’t get too busy and miss the opportunity of having a meeting with the Lord. It is a ‘Privilege’ to be able to come into the Holy Presence of the Father, and this is made possible only by the Righteousness of Jesus.

Why you cannot blend into the crowd when you are a Child of God?

The ‘Halo’ effect, this is when a person stands out, usually by… characteristics that included such things as leadership, physical appearance, intelligence, loyalty, and dependability.

Jesus spoke of the Lost Pearl… and in more than one way He was expressing His own experience…

Jesus gave many examples of those that went astray and returned, such as the Prodigal son, and the story of the lost sheep.

We can adopt these examples to ourselves and in many way,  Jesus was expressing His own joy of finding us, as today we acknowledge Him and know that His Grace abounds in our life...  as God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5: 8 NKJV

Not only did Jesus redeemed us by His Divine Resurrection, He made us Joint-Heirs…

TEXT

Romans 8:16-18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

1 Peter 2:9  (NASB)

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Matthew 10:32

[Confess Christ before Men] “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess (you) before My Father who is in heaven. In Context

Hebrews 4:15-16 English Standard Version (ESV)

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

1 John 5:3-4 English Standard Version (ESV)

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. 4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

English Standard Version (ESV)

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus we come… Lord Jesus we thank You for being our Advocate and as our Divine Redeemer, we like Job say… For I know my redeemer Lives! Lord Jesus bless our endeavors and bless our Visitors as we go in faith knowing that You have said be anxious for nothing as we give You our praises and we thank You for Your Providence. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.
