God did not make a mistake giving us ‘Free will’? No… Because He also gave the Power to make the right choices

Making the right choices in life is easier said than done. David made a few choices that displeased the Lord, but he made a lot more that pleased the Lord, to the extent that The Lord said David was a man of His own heart.

Acts 13:22

After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.’

Today as we face the challenges, are they really ours? Listening to the news, all of the violence done to innocent victims, the public disturbances and the civil unrests, they are really not our problem, but on the contrary, they are burdensome to our society, so, let us bring them to the Lord, even though He sees it all.

So, today we would like to take the time to pray for the nation that the God’s peace will be declared among all the victims, and pray that the perpetuators will turn from their ways and bring unity to build the nation rather than tearing it down.

As we go forward in this new week Lord… We need the deceits and the ill-intents to stop among the politicians. Lord let our church leaders unite and reopen Your House, as the churches are empty and Lord the absence will be adverse as many are in need of being in the Oneness of You Lord Jesus. 

You are the One that holds all things together.

The Supremacy of the Son of God

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come and bring the foregoing to You Lord. We seek Your Divine intervention at this time at the crossroads of this nation here in the USA and around the world. Lord let the cloud of the pandemic be lifted. Lord we thank You for our Visitors as we go in Faith knowing that all things work together for the good to those who love You Lord. We love and Praise You as we delight ourselves in You Lord. To You is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Romans 3:25

God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—

       The Cross is the symbol of Life for believers, but it is offensive to sinners, find yours today.

Jesus said… Luke 9:23 [Full Chapter]

Take Up the Cross and Follow Him] Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

Our interpretation of what Jesus was saying, we are to commit our life to Him and even be prepared to be crucified with Him.

What Jesus did for us, to die in our place. Many of us will ask why did He have to do this for them? Because of one man’s sin, we are also condemned. Our faith in Christ will save us from eternal damnation. If you have to know how this will work, how someone who died almost 1,987 years ago, how could His blood save me?

Warning against… Lack of Faith, being ignorant of the Holy Spirit and the Power of Christ, and if you have to know how the Crucifixion of Christ can save you before you accept His Divine Grace of Salvation, then you may never receive His Grace.

Grace is by Faith, trusting the Lord, accepting His Divine Grace and when you do, His Holy Spirit will transform you. You may say… ‘I do not want to be transformed’ then why are you curious about Christ? Your curiosity is spawn by your desire to have an ‘Inner-Peace’ and only through the Grace of the Lord you will ever find real Peace.

Jesus said… His Peace is like none other, it is a Peace that removes all ‘Fear’ and it is a ‘Victory’ won forever.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do, I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. In Context

So, as believers, walk in the Light, walk with His Peace, and let the Holy Spirit be in dwelling in you, and. The things of this world will grow dim, knowing that Jesus has endowed you to be His vessel of His salvation.

Faith in Action

11: 1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.This is what the ancients were commended for.

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.

By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed, and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

Prayer… Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are, we will be.  Lord, today let Your Holy Spirit be upon our Visitors and us all… as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

    The road to destruction is paved with idolatry, you may say I do not have any, but there some…

The Broadway to destruction is probable extremely attractive but as one travels further the pavement will be littered with the remains of failures, regrets and the forgotten.   

Jesus spoke of the rich man and Lazarus the beggar. While the rich man lived, he enjoyed the sumptuous life and Lazarus suffered.  One may wonder why is it that while the beggar lived how did he not have a beautiful life, as Jesus said he came that we may have live and have it more abundantly.  The Scripture said… This was written in relationship to the beggar and  Lazarus (the rich man). Why was the beggar poor?

 

2 Peter 1:1-4

To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ: 2. Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature.

You may know of Christ. You may even have become born again… in relationship with him but if you lack understanding of how you are in partnership with him you wonder aimlessly with no vision of the call God has for you.

It is the most exciting life when you are in partnership with God. For the dreams and hopes you have in your heart he knows. He formed you in your mother’s womb. As you press in to ask the Holy Spirit your question,  He said “ I will bring you into all truth.”

Can you remain a baby Christian and never enter all God has for you? You can.  A baby only sees himself and his immediate area around him and judges everything by his emotions and experience. He does not realize God has given him the keys to the Kingdom of GOD. He has the authority in Jesus to do all things through his name!

So, while the rich man died and went to a place of torment, Lazarus the Beggar was with Abraham. As we read…

19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 “The time came when the beggar died, and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.

 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here, and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

30 “‘No, Father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

Look back at the above, ;et us be clear, God has nothing against you being rich. But while being rich, let us remember the great commission, love your neighbor as yourself. And as we see the rich man never extended his love to Lazarus while he lived a sumptuous life.  The most fearful word one could ever hear will be…Matthew 7:23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

The most wonderful words we could ever hear will be… Matthew 25:21

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

Choose the narrow and straight path and avoid the broad way to destruction Lot chose to be next to the lights of the city, and the city was Sodom & Gomorrah. Come to Christ, as he is the Way the Truth and the Light.

Prayer: Lord guide us as we focus in You Lord Jesus, and through You Lord Jesus we have Victory and by Your Righteousness we are able to be in the Presence of the Father. Lord grant us Your Pease and we ask Your Divine blessings on our Visitors. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

The statement. “Better than Gold” what could this be?

Figure this…    God’s ‘New-Math’ the miracles of 2+5=5,000.  Read more on this….

The above mathematical formula will not equate to Five thousand. But Jesus made this so… IT is better than Gold.

Matthew 14:17 “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.

Matthew 14:21

The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

The realty of retiring with a Certificate of Deposit, this will earn you 2% but the Annual Inflation Rate is about 2.2% this means your money is not earning you an income.  It is like having a tree in your backyard that bears no fruit. With the neutral income from your money in the bank, this is the real math, to earn a million and have a million at the end of 20 years, you will have to start with ‘Two’ Million. One to keep you in a house, car, food, etc., that is used up over 20 years @ $4,200 per month, and one to stay almost stagnant in the bank.

So those without the ‘Million’ you do not have to worry, be satisfied with what you have

As the Million tied up in the CD is growing and if compounded over a 20-year period, (untouched principal) at the end of the 20th year it will be: $1,457,393 But the interest earned is off set by the inflation, your million is still a million. Which is like the non-bearing fruit tree, the only thing it is worth, is to chop it down and sell the lumber, and the same for your million, is to withdraw the interest and spend it to derive any benefit.

The above exercise is futile as we have said… Today are what counts, right now, this instance, not tomorrow, nor yesterday as it is gone.  This is the moment.

Can we ever achieve real harmony? If the answer is no, then there is virtually no hope for a peaceful life, but we can attain real harmony, but can it be sustained? Yes and no, please do not be confused by this paradox of yes and no.  No, because all events are subject to the interference of the devil that intervenes, and Yes, we can have harmony, if we have the armor of God to protect us from such interferences of the evil one.  

The apostle Paul wrote, "Being confident of this, that He (God) who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6). 

So, we have the ‘Providence’ of the Lord and His promise is more than the non-performing Million in the Bank.

An American businessman was on holiday in Mexico.

As he relaxed on the beach, he noticed a fisherman coming in on his boat.  The American complimented the fisherman on his catch and asked him how long it took him to catch that many fish. 

“Not long.” was the reply.

“Then why didn’t you stay out longer?” asked the tourist.

“Because this is enough for me and my family.” explained the fisherman.

“So, what do you do with the rest of your time?”

“I sleep late, fish for a while, play with my children, take a siesta and spend time with my wife.  Then in the evening, I go into the village to visit my friends, I have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing a few songs.  I have a full life.”

The American was surprised.  “I have an MBA from Harvard and I can help you.  You should spend more time  fishing, then you can sell the extra fish, make more money and buy a bigger boat.”

“And after that?”

“With the extra money from the bigger boat, you can buy two or three boats and eventually hire more people to operate a fleet of fishing trawlers.  Instead of selling your fish to a middleman, you can start to negotiate directly with the processing plants.  After a while you would be able to open your own plant.  Then you could leave this little village for the City and eventually, New York!  From there you could operate the whole enterprise.”

“How long would that take?” asked the fisherman.

“20-25 years.”

“And after that?”

“Well my friend, that’s when the fun starts.” explained the tourist, “When the business gets really big, you can sell stock in the company and make millions!”

“Wow, millions.  What happens after that?” asked the fisherman.

“After that you will be able to retire on the coast, sleep in every day, do some fishing, play with your grandkids, take a siesta and spend time with your wife.  In the evenings you will go drinking and singing with your friends.”

The fisherman said… I am already doing that, why wait 20 years…

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, in Jesus we come…. Lord Jesus thank You for this moment and thank You for the promise of Your assurance that Your Providence will prevail till the end of time, which will be the new beginning.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors and seek You Divine Blessing on us all. To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

    Gold is mentioned in the NIV Bible 441 times.  Why? Way back in genesis, Gold was used to make images (False gods), Plates and Dishes, it was a symbol of wealth, it was stolen it was treasured and made in jewelry and as a currency.

Today Gold is used in all of the above, except for use as a currency.  Is the world thinking of going back to the Gold Standard? (Quoted by an article written by Frost & Guildford)

“Today, with inflation unusually low and stable, the gold standard is a tougher sell than it once was. But as trust in American institutions wanes, there is renewed support for money backed by something tangible, not the say-so of the government. If inflation picks up once again, a solid base of gold standard evangelists is ready to take it mainstream. That a supporter of the gold standard may yet wind up on the Fed’s board of governors is yet more evidence that the idea’s prospects are shining brighter than they have in many years” .

As we said yesterday… What’s better than Gold? Something that you cannot buy, earn, or steal it. It cannot be handed down by your parents, nor can your best friend give this to you.  For many Christians reading this they will say… I already know this so why are we talking about this?  Because Jesus gave us all His great commission. And this includes you, me, and everyone. 

The Love of Christ, His promise of His Abundance, His Divine Redemption through the Shedding of Blood at Calvary, where he died in our place, so that we might have Life-Everlasting.

The book of Daniel was written… around 605 years BC. The Theme was God is Sovereigns over all humans and kingdoms.

Daniel 12:2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.

Gold was the exit ticket for the refugees leaving Vietnam during the exodus, for those that had a piece of gold they were given passage aboard the ship leaving Hanoi.  This is not going to be needed as Jesus already paid it all.

What a privilege that we have that a full ‘First-Class’ passage is pre-paid by our Redeemer. And, He has names you as a beneficiary of a passage to His Kingdom.

Knowing this… We cannot fake it, we cannot buy a ticket, nor can we earn it on our own. So, here is the way…

John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

            Choose your helper… Your banker?  the Government? Or your friends? First go to the Source, The Lord.

A popular saying…” I am from the government and I am here to help”

The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help. Quoted by' Ronald Reagan 40th president of US (1911 - 2004) .

Your banker will certainly make a loan provided that you can demonstrate that your ‘Cash-Flow’ will generate the payback, and for sure if you are generating a lot of cash per week, most certainly they will accommodate you.  Maybe what you need is money management and not a loan.

Romans 3:24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Commentary:

While we are a ‘Good News’ site we have to remind ourselves that things are not getting better around the world.  Each government around the world operates by a ‘fragile’ economy, and families are even more vulnerable to the actions of their government. As today as we look at ‘finding our way to safe-harbors’, where is life’s safe-harbor?  Are we in a world of challenges that is parallel to the Israelites in their 40-year journey to Canaan?

The GOOD NEWS… Our journey is already mapped out and all we have to do is Ask for it to be revealed to us.

 Come to Christ and receive His Redemption and in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Heavenly Father in Heaven we come in the name of our Lord Jesus.  Lord Jesus Messiah as You stand at the Right-Hand of the Father, we thank You for this privilege of bringing the Good News of your Salvation to our Visitors. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask You Divine blessing on us all as we go in Faith knowing that the Best is Yet to Come as You have said… Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

  There is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow… and all that glitters is not gold.

Focus: What is better than Gold?  Maybe a Glass of Water to a man dying in the middle of the Sahara Desert. 

Commentary:  The Streets of Heaven is paved with Gold like a reflecting mirror, Why? Because in God’s Kingdom nothing will be man-made, and man has not found a way to make Gold.  

There many idiom relating to Gold… All that glitters are not gold, the person with the gold makes the golden rules. Then there are stories about Gold, here’s one… A Banker stole some Gold-Bullions from the bank, he was sentenced to prison but he never relinquished the gold. The day he was released from the prison, he called a taxi, and told the cab driver to take him to a phone booth, he dialed the operator and the operator said…” please deposit a million dollars to continue this call”. Unfortunately, what he stole was just about a million dollars. So, in the end he had just enough to make that one call. Obviously, inflation had struck…

What’s better than Gold? Something that you cannot buy, earn or steal it. It cannot be handed down by your parents, nor can your best friend give this to you.  For many Christians reading this they will say… I already know this so why are we talking about this?  Because Jesus gave us all His great commission. And this includes you, me and everyone.

Preeminence of Christ

Reconciled in Christ 

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. 

21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight. 

Let us Praise the Lord... as He is Mighty to Save and He reigns supreme and He is our Redeemer who Lives, and on that day we shall all See Him as he is.  

Prayer: 

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of our Father and His Holy Spirit, Lord we come this day to Praise You and lift You up before all knowing that you Lord sits on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us to the Father. Lord We seek Your Divine Blessings today and Your Favors upon us all including our Visitors to this Good News Site. Today Lord as we proclaim You as our Supreme God, we place all things in Your Holy Hands Lord... Lord in You we have Victory we come and in Faith we go forward. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

      Jesus sent Peter to the lake to fish for the gold Coin to pay the tax… He wants to send us too…

Amazing that Jesus knew that the fish would deliver the coin to pay the Tax. This proves that even creatures of the sea are used by God.

In the Bible there are incidents that are totally unexplainable such as… as there was the talking donkey. The Whale that swallowed Jonah.  What are you thinking of in accomplishing your endeavors? Yes, we have divisions, and competitions among every sector, we also have bad policies, bad programs yet, we have multiple good policies and good leaders. The Power of this nation lies in the principle of… ‘In God We Trust’

We have the greatest Freedom, and every time we hear the sonic boom of our Airforce, we know this is the ‘Sound of Freedom’ So, waving the Flag today, we do it mightily by the Grace of our Lord.

Why are the streets in Heaven paved with Gold? Would you like to be in God’s Kingdom in a city that was built by famous architect and engineering firm well known on earth? My quick answer is no… why? Because it will not be flawless, nor will it be anything that we already have here on earth.

Heaven is described as a place that eyes have not seen nor can we imagine. So, here is why the streets are paved with gold… here on earth we are not able to make Gold. We can melt it change the shape, dilute it, and reduce the purity, but we cannot improve on it, nor can we make it. Therefore, Heaven will not be man-made, nor will it ever be shaken.

  1. Revelation 21:18 The wall was made of jasper,  and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass.
  2. Revelation 21:21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.

What we know that gold is considered ‘a safe haven’ this is so aptly stated as those placing their trust in Gold should know that it will be like brick pavers in God’s kingdom.

Here is a story of why the lure of gold may not be as good as a cool glass of water…

The story goes… a banker stole several gold billions, but he was caught and sent to prison. After serving a long sentence, he was released, he went and found the gold, but this was a dry arid area, he was so dehydrated and was crawling on the ground with the gold bullion in hand. Along came a couple that saw him, he reached out , unable to speak, trying to give the gold to them gesturing his need for some water. The woman said, “look he is trying to trade that piece of metal for a drink of water, he may think it is of value”. You see, gold was no longer of any value as it was now replaced by some other precious. Metal.

The moral of the story…  we cannot survive without water, and gold is useless if you are dying of thirst in the middle of the Sahara on an extremely hot day.

Commentary:

Prayer is a Divine interaction with our Lord, He gave us this privilege of coming to Him, and He also revealed many secrets to us:

1. Faith: This is the Power of coming into His Presence; Faith is the key step in coming to Him,

2. Belief: He said when we pray, we must have Faith and Believe we already received His Favor

3. Supremacy:  He is Supreme and Sovereign, and we must place Him First over all

4. Redemption: Acknowledge His Redemption and His Grace that saved us

5. Holy Spirit:  Seek His Holy Spirit and He is Omnipresence and Omni potent.

6. Thanksgiving Give Thanks and acknowledge in Faith that whatever we Ask, or Think He said He will do

Are you facing a Giant today, Our Lord can make a way for you to overcome it and be victorious... Praise our Lord Jesus for He is Faithful?

Principle:  Humbleness and Meekness shall triumph over pride and the boastful ones will be debased.  Pride debases those that boast and put their trust in money and earthly things…. Correct Living is rooted in Christ    Pride displaces God from the heart in favor of Self

Let us not judge others and remembering that forgiveness is the first step towards building a relationship among each other.  To be less self-centered and Christ Centered

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we are gathering in Your Holy Presence, You said You are in their midst… Lord let Your presence be felt and let our hearts receive Your Good News of your Redemption. Jesus, Messiah You are proclaimed to be God in One of our Father and as King of kings.  Lord Jesus we give You the Glory as we seek Your blessings on us all. Remember, anything that we place ahead of the Lord is an idol, this could be anything or anyone in our lives.

The only thing we cannot over-indulge in is His Word. Because this is His ‘Fruit’ and as we immerse ourselves in His Word, we too shall bear much fruit for Him.  Because all are from Him, by Him and to Him.

So, be nurtured by His Word, learn His precepts, gather the fruits, and enjoy His abundance. As we write, it is the season for black berries, blue-berries and so much of God’s delightful abundance that he described above.

Recently I found that eating blueberries (a handful per day) could reverse the accumulation of plaque in our arteries especially to the Heart.  How could such as flavorful enjoyable fruit be a remedy?  Maybe we are too used to the dosage of Castor-Oil used in early childhood.  It is also reported that eating Mustard greens such as Broccoli, Bok-Choy and other veggies from the Mustard green family is also a preventative source for certain cancer. 

While ‘Doughnut’ is mentioned, a product loaded with too-much sugar, we remind ourselves that everything in moderation is our best guideline.

So, with new science and discoveries the big pharmaceutical companies are jumping on the bandwagon of natural remedies.

Prayer: Lord bless this day as we go in Faith to spread the Good News of Your Divine Powers and Your Grace. Lord we give You first place in our lives and offer ourselves as a living Sacrifice to have Your Holy Spirit indwells in us.  Lord we ask Your blessing upon our Visitors and that Your Favors be released to us all as we come and give Thanks for Your Love and the Covenant of Truth in You Lord. Lord guide us and let Your plans for our lives be revealed as we are privileged to serve You Lord. Are you a ‘Vessel of Mercy”? if so, then His ‘Riches’ were prepared beforehand for you.

The Faithfulness of the Lord:

Philippians 4:19

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to him again?

You see, riches here on earth is just temporary, ‘Real Riches’ is what Jesus gave us, He made us a ‘Joint-Heir’ in His Kingdom, a Kingdom not made by human hands and will never be shaken.

What is the meaning of the saying of ‘Who has first given that it might be paid back to Him again’?

While we are so journeying to Him His riches entrusted in our hands are as provided by Him according to His riches in Glory, and as we all know… The cattle on a thousand hills are His.

You see… must be a good steward.  Example of who was a bad steward, this was Judas, ironically, the Lord allowed him to be the treasurer as he carried the bag of money when the disciples needed to buy food, etc.

We all know the ending of Judas...

Verse 36 above clearly stated that ‘from Him and through Him and to Him are all things, and to him MUST be the Glory Forever…

Commentary:

We will be entrusted with the Moneybag, but we must be a good steward, and once we are the Riches will be entrusted to you.

Romans 11:33 [Full Chapter]

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!

So, His ‘Riches’ go far beyond the ‘things’, it comes with ‘Wisdom & Knowledge, and let no one be disillusioned, God’s unsearchable judgements and unfathomable Grace are from Him.

Remember the Father trusted us, so much that He gave us ‘Free-Will’ but there is a boundary set, and this boundary is governed by…

Romans 9:23

Nothing lasts forever, even bad leaders, and the good ones too… Retirement is a resignation, so do not resign continue to serve… as a faithful steward fulfilling the role as trustee to be able to share the Gift that Christ endowed to us all. 

No one likes to be a ‘charitable-case’ but we are mere humans, and Jesus said…”Without Me you can do NOTHING” therefore in the sight of the Lord it is by His mercy that we can receive clemency, because he is lenient not in just Words, but by His Sacrifice at Calvary that his Blood was shed for us fulfilling His Redemption.

Conclusion:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Father in Heaven by the Grace of our Lord Jesus we come in Your Holy Presence. Lord Jesus we thank You for presenting us to the father as You Jesus is our Mediator and by your Righteousness we are redeemed by Your Grace. Lord we thank You for Your Divine Redemption  as we thank You for our Visitors, and we ask Your blessing on each as we go in faith spreading the fragrance of Your love and in You we have victory. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Jesus said… John 14:6 [Full Chapter]

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me”.

Several years ago I drove from Munich to Stuttgart, had dinner and started out at 10 PM on a drive to Geneva, I had no maps, and no GPS, it became foggy but I kept going, after about 6 hours, I reached Geneva, at about 4 AM, I was lost looking for my hotel, I spotted a police station and went inside, asking for directions to the Hotel Intercontinental, the police gestured for me to follow him, he got in his VW Rabbit, turned on his flashing signals and led me to my hotel.

The following morning for my flight home, I checked my car in at the front desk to be returned to Hertz, 2 weeks after I had a call from Hertz asking where the Mercedes Benz was, I told them I had checked the car in at the Hotel front desk, what they found out, the vehicle was in the basement garage sitting. Fortunately, Intercontinental Hotels, American Express and Hertz resolved the enormous bill.

What I learned from the overnight drive… never attempt this again especially in early winter, visibility is bad, and it is cold, not to mention the hazardous driving. The Lord was my navigator, and the abandoned rental was all taken care of by Him.

In all of our life’s experience we can think of instances that were life threatening, such as being in a near miss mid-air collision, in another 5 seconds we would have been hit by another jet.  Our pilot took a steep dive and the on-coming aircraft was so close I could see the face of the pilot; I am sure his plane missed us by inches.

Looking back over the years, there are multiple times I have escaped what could have been the ‘final curtains’ but, the Lord preserved me and here I am… so, today I start the day by thanking Him and acknowledge that; there must be a reason why I am here. So, using my time that He has given me to write and publish this site.

Let us make today another day in Paradise… Because our Lord has made it, and He wants us to be filled with His Grace, His Love and His abundance. Give Him the Glory and always thank Him for His Unconditional Love…

Nehemiah 8:10 

Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

So, today stop being the ‘Old-Sage’ pause and listen to the   of the children filled with ‘Mirth’ and their joyful moments.

Commentary: There’s an event when a pastor dressed as a homeless person, came to the church and everyone slighted him, as he was walking up to the podium the elders stopped him, so he revealed it was him the pastor, they were all shocked and was extremely remorseful of their actions, as the pastor said…”if he had come dressed in a suit he would have been most welcomed”.

Prayer:  Lord, as we come today, we remind ourselves of the Tax-Collector, as we are just like Him, and we say… ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ Lord bless our Visitors and grant us Your Peace. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore….Amen.

   No shopping required, the full armor of God is already laid-out, do you have it?

Shopping and hoarding are somewhat similar…Want and needs are also similar, but hoarding is a compulsion that drives one to saving items that are sometime useless.

   Why do we need the ‘Armor of God? Because we face a formidable enemy, even the best man-made weapons cannot defeat this foe.

 No, he is not invincible as greater is He (the Lord Jesus) with us than this enemy.

Ephesians 6:13 (KJV)

Wherefore take unto you the whole amour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

So, what weapon can we use against this so called “Terminator”? Get the Power of the Holy Spirit of Our Almighty God. Just call on the Name of the Lord Jesus and all enemies are vanquished.

Jesus said He has conquered the world… Now, Jesus who holds it all together and by Him and through Him all things were created. Colossian 1:16, 17, 18

Colossians 1:16 NKJV

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: In Context |

Colossians 1:17

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Commentary: Beware that after you are ‘Enlightened’  do not re-indulge in your former sins, as the Word of God said… (Worse off at the end than they were at the beginning before knowing Christ)

If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.

Here is why… Christ died ‘Once’ and because of His Resurrection, knowing Him, we have His assurance…

EVENING:

Hardship can be a treasure:  just like undergoing training. So, look at what we consider adverse situation to be a ‘rehearsal’ for Victory.  The best runners do a lot of training and their discipline will only yield benefit through a regimental training which is voluntary.  The discipline of the Lord is ‘mandatory’ as we all need to know when we get there to thank Him and not have to go back through the re-training.

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

       A prize by cheating is a fraud, but the ultimate ‘Prize’ cannot be stolen or bought.

Cannot be purchased? Many of us feel that money can buy everything, but there are two essential things that money cannot purchase.  Happiness and Everlasting Life. Yet, Jesus, did say they are available, and He is giving these away.

If you could choose between “A” living out your remaining years in first-class luxury in the most affluent  circles, versus: “B” staying the way you are living out your life walking with the Lord, living a modest life within your budget, but knowing that at the end of the rainbow there will be a life in a place of eternal splendor, which would you choose?

Some may choose “A” and flaunt the affluence not thinking about tomorrow… and a few may choose “B” knowing that the endurance will end in Joy.

Nevertheless, one could have the ways of “A” without knowing that he has it? How could this be? Because it was not a ‘Sought-after’ mission of that person’s life.

You see, worldly riches are made available to be used for Christ’s glory, the ‘Peace’ of the Lord is the ‘Real riches’, it cannot be bought, it is given by the Lord, and as we receive it, use it well, take it to the next step of buying a bigger method of fishing for new followers to the Lord.

When Christ said, follow Him and He would made us fishers of men, He did not give them a better boat, He ‘empowered’ them by His Holy Spirit,  He gave them the power to heal and to reach many.

Likewise, we are to know that the local pastor doesn’t have to be driving that old car, wearing tattered clothes and not able to buy you lunch, he will be ‘empowered’ to host us, to be the head of the table not the lowly poor pastor that always need your help. Why? Because he represents the King of kings and the ambassador of the richest kingdom will be a capable person , not of low esteem, being able to speak boldly proclaiming the wonderful Grace of his King knowing he represents the Sovereign almighty God.

The best example of God’s ambassador would be Dr. Billy Graham, all of the Decision Hours were presented with a high-profile line up, no improvising, no drama, no showmanship, just the plain-truth of God’s love and mercies, and of course a gentle reminder of the ‘Wrath’ of God’ as the wages of sin.

So,  today we will read how God made the Gentiles the envy of the Israelites…

So, if our local pastor happens to be driving a premium vehicle and may even have a Jet, let us not judge as he may have written several NY Times best sellers. Or, he may have inherited a block of Coca-Cola founders’ shares.

While Billy Graham maintained a respectable organization even to the end, BGEA will continue with integrity, and the Lord is the great-benefactor of BGEA, and as we lose focus on the things of this world, yet, all our needs will be met and far beyond our expectations. Just do not flaunt the Providence of the Lord, use it for His Glory.

Forgiveness without reconciliation is empty… because Jesus said this…

: Our conviction cannot save us; it is like being found guilty for a crime, but you haven’t confessed to it. What is the difference here? Being guilty under the law and not admitting this by oneself, the ‘crime’ is still contained in your mind with the capacity of repeating this is always there, because you felt that you haven’t done any wrong.

To be ‘Pardoned’ one must admit guilt with remorse or being pardoned because you did not commit the crime in the first place. Now if one is ‘falsely’ accused and convicted then they deserve to be granted a pardon. But the guilty person that really committed the offence is really not pardoned in a court of law, his sentence is commuted or set-aside, but in the eyes of the law he is still an offender.

In Christ we have a ‘Full-Pardon’ not a set-aside’ of our offences, because Jesus said, our Sins are forgiven and are removed like the East from the West meaning, it is ‘Forgotten’ Why should we forget our sin? Because Jesus forgets them after we come to Him.

The devil wants us to remember them and imprints in our mind the temptation that lurks in the background, in the ‘Background’ we should only retain the knowledge that “I am now a Child of God’ and I am now ‘Elevated’ above the things that give temporary fulfillment, as I now have the everlasting JOY in Jesus my Redeemer, because He prepared the ultimate place that I am on my journey at this very moment….knowing that He is the Author and Finisher of my Faith, and that I shall see Him as he is as Jesus who was before Abraham is still the same yesterday, today as He has prepared a place for me… Apply this in your life and have Victory in Jesus our Risen Lord who Reigns Supreme and He is Eternal and He is Faithful.

2.         Goals: Paul was a practicing Pharisee, but he came to Christ as Christ chose him to be His vessel.  Ignore the call to be known let the principle of  'I shall decrease,  and He must increase in life' prevail

Some may say that the Bible does not have all the answers, and some say that all we ever need to know will be found in the Holy Bible.

So, is there an easy way to find answers, yes and no… Yes, when what we read are revealed through the Spirit Man, and no when we read and do not comprehend.

As the Bible said…

  1. Corinthians 1:20

Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise.

The application of Faith must be well placed, meaning we can seek and ask in faith, but our intention(s) must be focused on not just ourselves, but to care for others.   The famous quote made by Cain, ‘Who made me my brother’s keeper?” we already know the answer why Cain said this, because he did kill his brother Abel. 

Our Lord revealed one of His Secrets, ‘FAITH’ and this is the most powerful gifts from our Lord. But we as Humans have a mental capacity to think, and even to think BIG just like when Paul and Silas was in Jail Praising the Lord, there was a sudden earthquake and the prison doors were flung opened and their chains were loosen. This is Faith in Action. Faith in God and not in mere man, as our Supreme God the Creator of the Vast Universe is able to do great things for those with Faith.

Do we need a miracle to end Covid-19? It is there for the asking, the vaccine is being readied, but pray for God to end it.

Without the Vaccine, the Virus will continue, and could be impacted by the Fall Flu season. Traditionally Vaccine takes years to be developed. For those of us who are staying well through this pandemic, is it because of our strong immune systems? Or is this ‘Pandemic’ an imaginary enemy. To many in multiple countries, this is a real-life problem.  

This man-made virus for whatever reason it was developed and released, will go down in history as a major game-changer. The ‘Lockdown’ and the need for protective masks etc., the absence of Church services, yet the liquor stores are allowed to be opened. What is the logic behind this?

The governor of California banned in-home Bible Study, opposed signing and chanting.  But on the other hand, the mass-protestors continue to rage their demonstrations, looting and burning, flags and Bibles.

Our Prayers of Thanksgiving and asking for protections of ourselves and others should be specific. While the world is seeking a vaccine, let us seek the Divine intervention of the Lord.

We spent the week learning that God never stopped loving you, what would be bring to the Lord as our accomplishments,  a little talk about Heaven and who is our living-Hope?

You should know for sure that God never stopped loving you, and secondly; we should bring Our Love as we should delight ourselves in Him. Thirdly, we must go in Faith that. As He told the thief on the Cross, ‘today you will be with me in Paradise’.  Finally, Jesus is the Only Living-Hope, as His Divine Resurrection

If this was all we had to look forward to? No, Jesus gave us a glimpse of Heaven.

Fifth Ave New York was once known as the Chic fashion center of the USA… today New York is better known for a city of challenges.

The lawlessness and the blatant crime and disrespect for law and order have driven this major financial capital into a downward spiral.

The current leaders in New York, could write a book.  “How to turn a world class city into a world of chaos in two years”

The city of City of Corinth in the Bible would best describe New York City.  So, if you are from the Big Apple do not bring any rotten ones.

Thoughts for the day: Trusting in God…Who else is trustworthy?

Do not trust the glitter and lure or this world, it leads to emptiness

Jesus said… “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” Hebrews 13: 5

Trusting God and knowing Him leads to:

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear (loves) Him, and delivers them (you)... Oh, fear the Lord, you saints! There is no want to those who fear Him… Psalm 34: 7, 9 NKJV

The bible refers to believers as ‘Saints’ through Jesus Christ our Lord we have this privilege of receiving His Salvation by His Grace. Fortunately, no one can buy or earn His Salvation, otherwise heaven would be a place full of ‘boastful’ people. We are saved by His Grace and not of anything we do or can do.

When we have the knowledge of His Good News that He died and Rose Triumphantly and ascended to heaven where He said He went to prepare a place for you (if you know Him) what a privilege of being in touch with the Most-High at this moment. He said come to Him and He will give you rest.

The Christian life is full of Joy… Following Christ is what ‘Christianity’ means; and in Jesus we have that Victory and being filled with His Holy Spirit (His Comforter) we have the JOY.  Knowing that Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and forever… we have His assurance of Heaven to be a real place where Jesus is King of His Kingdom.

So, we have this open invitation to come to Jesus...

Luke 5:32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Luke 5:31-33 

Romans 10:13  (NKJV)

13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Matthew 22: 37 Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Remember: It was Jesus who said... Apart from me you can do Nothing… NADA… NIL.

Good News… Eternity? But, will it be an eternity of your choice? You have a choice of one, not multiple choices. This is not our opinion it is God’s declaration… Heaven or Hell, this is rather abrupt…  why God is no respecter of person, he causes the rain to fall on all, good, bad and ugly, and even the beautiful ones too, but in the sight of God we are all beautiful… so Jesus came to gather His creation and with open arms He is welcoming us all.

You can receive His Redemption right now, right where you are, no appointment necessary, no Catholic Priest, nor Church Pastor nor anyone else.

Just come to Jesus and open your heart to Him by saying, Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, and I want to be saved by Your Grace and to receive Your Holy Spirit in my life to change me and make me a child of Yours, Lord come into my heart and I will be a living temple for Your Spirit to dwell, Lord Jesus I thank You for Your Salvation and the privilege of coming in Your Holy presence. Amen.

To our Visitors that are in good standing church members and follower of Christ, the foregoing message may be redundant, but it is His Great Command…

When Paul said…I know of a man that was caught up to the third heaven, what did he mean?

There are multiple books, movies and documentaries about seeing heaven and returning to tell about what they saw. All the descriptions depicted a place that is truly ‘Heavenly’.

Paul said he saw he could not talk of what he saw…

was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell. 

2 Corinthians 12:2

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows.

was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell. I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses. Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. Recent development of the boy who claimed he died and went to heaven, now he has recanted and claims it was all a fantasy that he made up. Many Christian groups, publicist and Movie maker believed the boy’s story. Now his admittance that this was all made up, it doesn’t change the fact of what we read in Revelation as depicted by John’s writing of what was told to him by the Lord.

As John was told… ‘Write these things down’

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

What has man accomplished that we can say to God here is my accomplishment?

Remember Isaiah said…

There is the only accomplishment we can bring to the Lord is when we abide in Him … as His endowment is through His Grace that we can go to Him with.

The Birth of Jesus is one event that has influenced how we live daily, governed by the daily calendar of the year AD 2012 (A.D. An abbreviation used with a date, indicating how many years have passed since the birth of Jesus. The abbreviation may appear before the date (A.D. 2012), The birth of Jesus dictates our calendar and yet many have never heard of Jesus.  We are privileged to bring to the Worldwide Web the Good News of Jesus Christ coming to this planet born of a Virgin, who super-naturally rose from the dead, which leads us to the 2nd most important event of mankind.

What is the 2nd most important? The Crucifixion of Jesus, why? He was not just a man, He was God, Jesus as we see shook the elements at his crucifixion by a major earthquake, the sun went dark for three (3) hours, Midday to 3 PM, and the Curtain of the Temple was torn. The Power of His Holy Spirit from His father descended on earth.

The Third most important event known to man is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we declare “HE IS RISEN” His Resurrection from death as seen by thousands witnessed by the Disciples. Jesus’ Resurrection is a Divine gift to us that completed His Redemption of our Soul, His Blood of Atonement was shed for our sin, His Priceless Gift of Life-Everlasting is offered to each of us, but to receive HIS SEAL we must Accept His Gift that we cannot purchase with all the gold in the world.

Footnote: as we teach from the Holy Bible, let us never refer to the ‘Events’ as ‘Stories’. Life of Moses is not a story, the live of Abraham is not a Story and the event of Sodom and Gomorrah is not a story.

Stories are referring to fictions, the Merriam-Webster defined story as…

A: fictional narrative shorter than a novel; specifically :short story

b: the intrigue or plot of a narrative or dramatic work

c: a widely circulated rumor

Events are defined…

a: something that happens occurrence

b: a noteworthy happening

c: a social occasion or activity

Authors and story writers have given us nursery rhymes, Peter Rabbit, Alice in Wonderland, Mickey Mouse, and all us have grown up watching Sesame street, with Elmo and Big Bird… These are all acceptable across the board in all levels of society.  But when it comes to God, the Bible and Christianity, this is where the Word of God becomes vetted and now being voted by our law makers that the Bible cannot be brought on Campus in many branches of our Military.

Look to Christ… as He is returning and His promise will be fulfilled, take this as a factual statement from Him.

Who is your Living Hope? The resurrection of Jesus made Him the only Living Hope.

Thoughts for the day: Trusting in God…Who else is trustworthy?

Topic:  Do not trust the glitter and lure or this world, it leads to emptiness

TEXT: Jesus said… “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” Hebrews 13: 5

Commentary: One could say…I do not want to be a Christian, because if I do I cannot continue to enjoy the things of this world, Let’s look at the verb ‘Enjoy’, this is a word derived from ‘rejoice’  it is an experience. Experience do not last forever, But the worldly life of a non-Christian leads to emptiness, therefore, without Christ the ‘enjoy’ is not real ‘Joy’… Joy is perpetual when you know Christ.

Trusting God and knowing Him leads to:

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear (loves) Him, and delivers them (you)... Oh, fear the Lord, you saints! There is no want to those who fear Him… Psalm 34: 7, 9 NKJV

The bible refers to believers as ‘Saints’ through Jesus Christ our Lord we have this privilege of receiving His Salvation by His Grace. Fortunately, no one can buy or earn His Salvation, otherwise heaven would be a place full of ‘boastful’ people. We are saved by His Grace and not of anything we do or can do.

When we have the knowledge of His Good News that He died and Rose Triumphantly and ascended to heaven where He said He went to prepare a place for you (if you know Him) what a privilege of being in touch with the Most-High at this moment. He said come to Him and He will give you rest.

The Christian life is full of Joy… Following Christ is what ‘Christianity’ means; and in Jesus we have that Victory and being filled with His Holy Spirit (His Comforter) we have the JOY.  Knowing that Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and forever… we have His assurance of Heaven to be a real place where Jesus is King of His Kingdom.

EVENING:

Today we asked… other than our Lord, who else is trustworthy? The old hymn ‘Trust & Obey’ to some may be just an old hymn from another century, but the factual statement that this old hymn said…’There’s no other way’ and this is anchored by Jesus own statement; “No one comes to the Father unless through Him” no, not Buddha, not Mohammed, not St. Peter or the church. 

So, we have this open invitation to come to Jesus...

Luke 5:32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Romans 10:13 New King James Version (NKJV)

13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Matthew 22: 37 Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

To produce Fruit of the Spirit we must be from His Stock, like being a Branch from His Vine.

Remember: It was Jesus who said... Apart from me you can do Nothing… NADA… NIL.

Good News… Eternity? But, will it be an eternity of your choice? You have a choice of one, not multiple choices. This is not our opinion it is God’s declaration… Heaven or Hell, this is rather abrupt…  why God is no respecter of person, he causes the rain to fall on all, good, bad and ugly, and even the beautiful ones too, but in the sight of God we are all beautiful… so Jesus came to gather His creation and with open arms He is welcoming us all.

You can receive His Redemption right now, right where you are, no appointment necessary, no Catholic Priest, nor Church Pastor nor anyone else.

Just come to Jesus and open your heart to Him by saying, Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, and I want to be saved by Your Grace and to receive Your Holy Spirit in my life to change me and make me a child of Yours, Lord come into my heart and I will be a living temple for Your Spirit to dwell, Lord Jesus I thank You for Your Salvation and the privilege of coming in Your Holy presence. Amen.

To our Visitors that are in good standing church members and follower of Christ, the foregoing message may be redundant, but it is His Great Command…

God never stopped loving us…even those who crucified Him.

Luke 23:34

But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves.

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.

Imagine… When Jesus said: “WE” will come and make “our” abode with you?

Imagine this is said by the King of kings, and Lord of all lords.

How much more can you and I expect? When our ‘Creator’ and our Great Redeemer offered His love and His eternal promise.  This is the highest rewards we can ever receive. But it is not earned, it is only by our personal unconditional love of the Lord.

Psalm 37:4

Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart.

So, as we begin a new week, let us look beyond the conflict, the distortions and find the Truth which is found in Jesus.

John 14:6

Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Know this… That anyone that thing contrary to this factual statement of Christ. Then it is an attempt to make Jesus a liar. Remember this…

Today more than ever people are being displaced because of wars, civil unrest, terrorism, and uncertainty of the future.  But we want to express to our readers that nothing is New…  Mass-Migration existed in Europe, India, Middle East, , and today we have the atrocities of war in Syria, Africa, Middle East displacing millions.

While Jesus mentioned ‘According to his work’ we are highlighting that His Reward is brought to those who know Him, and He knows them… Because ’Work’ will not make us eligible for His Kingdom.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

The Reward is the Lord Himself, as He shall dwell among His people.

Jesus spent His Three years of Ministry with His disciples and He walked among crowns and He inspired all. Even when the woman with the issue of blood, said…” If I could only touch the hem of his garment-I would be healed” and she did.

Commentary: 

Behold my Jesus stands at the door and knock. While He can enter without opening the door, but He is calling me to receive Him, and His mission is to bring me Joy, as he said as I stand at the door and know and if I answers, He will come in and dine with me.  What a privilege this would be to sit at a table set by my Lord and to be just like when He sat at dinner with the disciples. 

Yes, my Jesus has been at my door and He came because He wants to give me Peace, Joy, Hope, His Love, His care, and His plan for my life.

Today as I gather with all my friends and families, I will Thank Him and Praise Him for His Graciousness knowing that it is only by His Grace that I am saved and journeying to His Kingdom, where He has prepared a place for me.

Jesus said…” I am not of this world” what did He mean by this statement? No need to wonder about this.  He ascended to Heaven, but He did not abandon us; He said The Holy Spirit would be with us while He went to His Father. The same Holy Spirit that descended on the day of Pentecost where 5,000 came to Jesus through Peter’s telling them the Good News, this Holy Spirit is with us right now.

Jesus said… “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them”.  Matthew 18: 20.

Making today different, why? Do you want more of yesterday? Let today us make a great day…

When we say let us make today a great day, without God’s Grace what we would make would be just about ‘a-day’ and not more than that. A day with many hits of misses and a self-imposed mission that would be marginally good, but not a ‘great’ day.  Only in Christ we can have a great day. 

One of America’s most famous wartime general… General George Patton.  In the Movie/Documentary Patton, during a season of inclement weather, Patton summoned the Army-Chaplain and requested that he writes a prayer for good weather.  The response from the Chaplain was, “Am I to ask God for good-weather so we can kill our enemy?”.

He wrote the prayer and General Patton prayed it and the weather cleared.

Patton was one of America’s greatest commanding Generals, known for commanding the Third Army following the invasion of Normandy in June 1944, where he led an extraordinarily successful rapid armored drive across France.

He led the relief of beleaguered American troops at Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge and advanced his Third Army into Nazi Germany by the end of the war.

Paris was liberated on Aug 25, 1944. ... General Jacques-Philippe Leclerc and was attached to General George S. Patton's 3rd U.S. Army conquered the Germans as they surrendered in Paris, after four years of occupation.

On 29 August, the U.S. Army's 28th Infantry Division, which had assembled in the Bois de Boulogne the previous night, paraded 24-abreast up the Avenue Hoche to the Arc de Triomphe, then down the Champs Élysées.

Good News:  Peace is mentioned in the NKJV Bible 376 times, so our Lord is offering His Peace to you today.

TEXT: John 16:33

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Commentary: The history of the world is full of war; the world is constantly undergoing conflicts. Some are more pronounced and impacts us in more way then one.  Many conflicts are staged under the difference of philosophy and Religious war.  Individually we have a constant battle waging within ourselves, the battle of good versus evil, making the right choices and not falling into temptation.

Yes, there will be a time when 'Real-Peace' will reign...  We can have personal Peace in Christ today because He said, “Do not worry…” Seven times Jesus spoke this:

1] Matthew 6:25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

The Gospels (Matthew-Mark-Luke & John) introduced Jesus, declared Jesus as the Messiah, and affirmed Jesus as our Triune God. Salvation comes only through The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.  No other name or religion can ‘Forgive’ Sins, there are no ‘Redemption’ offered by any other religion, Only Christ died for our sins and Rose on the third-day to conquer death which is the penalty of sin. 

The Bible said… It is appointed unto man to die and after that the judgment… what does this mean? Is this a contradiction? If you are dead how will you be around for the judgment? Factually we will never die, as you are created in His likeness… therefore; our soul lives on to be judged or be rewarded.

Real Peace comes only from God through Jesus Christ who came on His Mission to save use.  He offers His Grace, (Grace is like the extra 10 days that your insurance company offered before they cancel your insurance) His Grace will be withdrawn on the Day of the Lord; It is by His Divine Crucifixion, dying in our place that we would not die, and His Blood of atonement is His Seal that you will receive when you accept Him as your Lord and Savior.  

We also must remember that our God is Love… Jesus loves you, but the Bible also said; God is a God of a consuming fire… Holiness is the only state that you will be accepted into His Kingdom, on that day entering His Kingdom you will be fully Sanctified made sinless by His grace forever. 

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord we thank you for Your Righteousness and Your Love. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for being our Mediator. Lord that You for Your Grace and Your Divine Redemption through Your Blood of Atonement. Lord we come knowing that Your mission here was to solely redeem us as we acknowledge that Salvation is only in You as there are no other name given by which we can be saved.  Lord thank You for Your Assurance as we thank You for our Visitors and Your blessing on all as we pray; in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Hello Happiness begins by coming to the Lord at the beginning of our day… The Joy of the Lord is found through our association with Jesus.

We will sing for joy over your victory…  And in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lordfulfill all your petitions.

Psalm 35:27

Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication; And let them say continually, “The Lord be magnified, who delights in the prosperity of His servant.”

The Power of Prayer… Prayer is the source of Power given to us by our Lord to seek HIM.

Jesus taught us how to pray

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Commentary:

Prayer is a Divine interaction with our Lord, He gave us this privilege of coming to Him, and He also revealed many secrets to us:

  1. Faith:  This is the Power of coming into His Presence; Faith is the key step in coming to Him,
  2. Belief: He said when we pray, we must have Faith and Believe we already received His Favor
  3. Supremacy:    He is Supreme and Sovereign, and we must place Him First over all
  4. Redemption: Acknowledge His Redemption and His Grace that saved us
  5. Holy Spirit:      Seek His Holy Spirit and He is Omnipresence and Omni potent.
  6. Thanksgiving: Give Thanks and acknowledge in Faith that whatever we Ask, or Think He said He will do

Plant seeds by speaking positively, never ‘dumb-down’ or putting down anyone, including yourself, step out in Faith…remembering that negativity only breeds failure, and success breeds success.

Are you facing a Giant today, Our Lord can make a way for you to overcome it and be victorious... Praise our Lord Jesus for He is Faithful.

You can say it is a dog’s life… Americans spent an estimated $72.56 billion on Pet care in 2018. 

What is a billion here and there? It is just numbers… these are some assumptions that may not be 100% accurate, but it is just to do a little mind-game… If the US population is 328.2 Million consisting of 89.7 Million Dogs and 95.6 Million Cats, making the total pet population to be 185,200,000. This translate to about 55% of American households own a pet.

 Breaking down the total spent divided by the pet population it is just about a $96 per pet.

American gave $390 Billion dollars *YTD-annualized.  (2017) This translates to an average of $1,214 / household, to various charities. In 2014 American gave to Churches almost $115 Billion this averages out to be $352 / giving.

So, the final analysis is we are spending on cats and dogs almost 30% of which was given to the house of the Lord.

Using our time… giving 30% to our pets and 60% to family leaves only 10% for the Lord. This is what we call the ‘Leftovers’…   So, today why not invert the ratios, 60% to the Lord, 30% to family and 10% to the pets.???

Let us try the inverted ratio and see how things will change, bring to the Lord the First Fruit is mandated by God.

Maybe we should try this and see the outcome.  Remember that: ‘Self-Denial is the most important of all of life’s function’.

The baggage consists of the things that we spend more time in rather than of the Lord.  So. Switch the baggage, and not do as the Word of God …

Remember Rachael stole the family god and hid it. Genesis 31: 34 Now Rachel had taken the household idols and put them in the camel’s saddle, and she sat on them.  While Laban did not find his idol-god, he came to peace with Jacob.

Jacob Meets Esau

FOCUS: Give Thanks instead of worrying… Look up… make sure that you are asking for a real cause, if you do, His abundance will flow.

Recently visiting with an old friend of mine that is approaching his 94th Birthday, so I asked… How are you and his reply was, ‘I am down’ as I worry about the future… after speaking for a few minutes, I found out that he had that feeling of insecurity because his income was limited.  I had to remind him that he lives in a house that was worth almost a million dollars, he had a ‘Reverse-Mortgage’ that he did not have to make any payments, his mortgage, taxes and insurance were paid from the reverse-mortgage, and his social security check gave him enough to live, pay for his car and still had a few dollars for charitable contributions (which he took delight in giving) and above all at 94 years old he was healthy as his physician said after his annual check-up, the doctor told him…”I will see you a year from now” .  After this I said John…you have so much to thank the Lord for, and to worry you are acting contrary to having faith in the Lord.  So, remember, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet here, today is a great day, so give thanks to The Lord.  So, he said, when my friend comes over, he will start sharing his new outlook of thanking the Lord for His graciousness.

Devotionals for Monday: August 3rd, 2020

Where would you prefer to be, here at home, or on vacation in Europe, Asia, or the Grand Canyon?

Psalm 63:1

Joy in the Fellowship of God] [ A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah.] O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.

Psalm 86:8

Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; Nor are there any works like Your works.

As David said he was in a dry and thirsty land, and he sought the Lord.  Are we in a dry and thirsty land? Yes, and it is also in Europe, Asia and even in our beautiful national parks.

David sought the Lord and he was given what he sought…

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

So, choosing where you would prefer to be, let us choose what David sought and give thanks to the Lord for providing the ultimate… to dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

Commentary:

You do not need the devil to confirm that there is a God, because God loves you, and the devil hates you…

God through His Son Jesus who is God in One of the Father cares for you, the devil wants to destroy you.

Remember the devil cannot use you unless you grant him your permission. This is done when we yield to temptation, being tempted is not a sin, but to indulge knowing that the temptation is from the evil one, you are now crossing over and will be used by the devil.

The devil has no power that cannot be overcome when you are armed with the Word of God.  Unless the devil is permitted, he cannot harm those in Grace with the Lord.  What do we mean, He could not harm Job, he was permitted to render pain and grief but God stopped him from killing Job, and God restored Job and all that he lost caused by the evil one.

So today do not grant your permission to the evil one.  We need to be armed with the armor of God. The text above clearly stated… For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age.

Knowing that God is Real and Jesus who is Supreme and Eternal and conquered death, on the other hand we need to know there exists the wicked spiritual forces who is the ruler of this dark age. 

Yielding to temptation is like knowing that beyond the next step is the end of the ledge and you will fall 20 floors to the ground, but the lure of this world tempts you to indulge.  So, indulging you fall, not many people ever survived such a free-fall to tell us of the brief ‘soaring feeling’ that may be a good feeling which ends in seconds.  Such is the pleasures of what the devil offers.

The text also said… build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil's evil tricks.

Remember the ‘Mighty-Power’ belongs to the Lord, and through Jesus we have His Power to withstand the devil’s evil tricks. 

Ephesians 6:13-18 (GNT) 13 So put on God's armor now! Then when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist the enemy's attacks; and after fighting to the end, you will still hold your ground.

14 So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight around your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, 15 and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. 16 At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the Evil One. 17 And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. 18 Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason, keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God's people. 

The above represent the most advanced weapon ever made, as it is made and provided by God.

Come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Heavenly Father we thank You for this privilege of serving You for Your Glory. Lord bless our Visitors and Lord Open the floodgates that this endeavor will spread Your Living Water.  Lord we Praise You and to You Lord Jesus we give You the Glory and to You Jesus Messiah is the Power for evermore… Amen.

The Armor of God.

Ephesians 6:10-18

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. ...

Celebrate life today, many cannot attend church today because of the Covid-19 Virus, but we can find ‘Oneness in Christ’ because Jesus is always present, and you can find Him right by your side

Finding the Lord today will be a blessing as there is a day coming when He will be coming to gather us all.

Focus: Are we there yet?

Text Matthew 24 The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age

3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

Commentary: When boarding an Airplane first-class passenger are boarded first.  In Heavenly realms, the same applies.  Because there will be a rapture where those in Christ will be taken up to be with Him first. This is an event that precedes the final ‘Day of the Lord’ which will follow the ‘Rapture’. This second period will be the time of tribulation.

Beware that there will be no ‘Coach’ passengers, all in Christ are all ‘First-Class ‘there are no class system, there will be no Catholics, Presbyterians, Baptist, Methodist, Lutherans or others, only one class… Born-Again just as how Jesus told Nicodemus “You must be born-again”.

So, to face the reality of what is to come, we will ask a question that pertains to right now… Who is the most important person you will meet today, who would you like to meet? Could it be a high-profile celebrity and if you do what would this do for you?  But the day of the ‘Rapture’ could be today, or in an hour or less… so which boarding pass do we have? remember to Journey with our Lord there is only one-way, no alternate route, no compromise, only one Criterion! To be Born-Again or the answer is “I do not know you” So, to ‘know of’ Jesus is not enough to ‘Know Him’ and follow Him is what He said.

His instruction is amazingly Simple…Seek Him First and His Righteousness, call on Him and You will be Saved.


You may say what are we talking about, what proof do we have, and how do we know this will occur.  First, we must know the facts:

  1. We are created in the Likeness of God
  2. We are loved by our Lord
  3. Jesus came and Died, and His Triumphant Resurrection was to Redeem us
  4. We can gain Live-Everlasting in Christ
  5. He is returning Again

Action/Coming to our Lord:

2 Corinthians 2:14

But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.

While the world undergoes the turmoil of economic woes, Europe, China, the USA and everywhere else, we have Hope (mentioned 121 times in the KJV and 159 times in the NIV Bibles.)

•.     JOY:       Joy is mentioned 244 times in the Bible, considering the announcement of our Savior’s Birth… Luke 2:10

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we reflect on Your Crucifixion and Your Triumphant Resurrection, Lord we thank you for Your Graciousness and Your Love. Lord we thank You for your Sacrifice at Calvary, and Your Blood of Atonement we receive Lord as we stand in Awe knowing that Your choice was not to thwart Your persecutors as they brought You to the Cross Lord. We thank You for choosing to save us by Your Grace. Lord We give You our Praises and thank You Lord for this privilege and we ask Your blessings on our Visitors as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Forming an opinion before hearing the outline? It is like the Bees and the Wasps…

The story of the Bees and the Wasp… They both attend the same school, but the Wasp learned how to make that Comb, and though they knew enough. So, they left the school and moved on.  Today we know that only the Bees produce Honey. And the wasp make mud in their comb.

Are you listening? stop and ‘Hear’ the calling of the Lord, Know Him today…

Sometimes the ‘inner-voice’ which is always there as our mind is alert, this an inner-conversation with one-self, and is our conscience, a warning to be cautious.

As we ‘confer’ in our mind, pondering the next steps and what to do next, let us pause and tune-in to the frequency of the Lord.  Access to the Lord’s frequency comes when we come to Him in prayer. Our prayers of salutation, Praise and our request(s) followed by thanksgiving, will be over in a couple of minutes. It is a good thing to just pause and ‘meditate’ for a moment before commencing our prayer. This will clear any clutter and be ready to communicate with the Almighty, knowing that we are in His Holy-Presence.

Know this…  He (Jesus) is the solution to the conflicts among us. Be in harmony in Christ.

OUR LIVES ARE A REFLECTION OF OUR FAITH…To live a Life worthy of our (his) Calling, but while we are showing that we belong to Jesus Christ, I must walk with Humility and Gentleness, patience, bearing one another in love, striving to keep unity in peace, and be a Believer as a member of the Body of Christ. Ephesians 4: 1-16 

Solutions… we all seek solutions, in all stages of life we have sought solutions of doing our schoolwork, and in our adult lives we are seeking solutions to life’s challenges that can be a constant quest. 

Now, more than ever in a changing world of economic make-over, global uncertainties and the interference of the forces of evil in all levels of our lives…. 

We need the Armor of God!

Jesus said in His declaration of the Beatitude He said:

12 Be glad and supremely joyful, for your reward in heaven is great (strong and intense), for in this same way people persecuted the prophets who were before you.

13 You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.
14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

 15 Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.

While we seek Solutions… remember Jesus said:

Prayer

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Seek Him first…

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus in awe we are still and know that You are God in One of the Father. Lord we thank You for Your Divine Redemption and the Grace that You have extended to us. Lord thank you for remembering us as without Your Grace we are hopelessly lost, but through Your Blood of Atonement we are cleansed and by Your Resurrection we are Redeemed in Victory over this world. Lord we thank you for the privilege of serving You to bring Your Good News to our Visitors. Lord, thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your Blessing to all. We Praise You and look to You for Your guidance. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore... Amen.
