Devotional for Thursday December 31st, 2015

MORNING:

TOPIC: What will the mode of transportation be like in Heaven?

Heaven is a place that our Lord said…  1 Corinthians 2:8-10 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; but just as it is written,

“Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,
And which have not entered the heart of man,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

10 For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

Jesus demonstrated the mode of transportation here on earth…

John 6:24-26 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

24 So when the crowd saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they themselves got into the small boats, and came to Capernaum seeking Jesus. 25 When they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, “Rabbi, when did You get here?”

Our Lord conducted Himself with such humbleness among His disciples, He never told them how He got there ahead of them. Jesus walked with the disciples, even after His Resurrection He walked with them on the road to Emmaus. Jesus never displayed His powers, of superiority over His Disciples, he did feed the 5,000, raised the dead (Lazarus) healed the sick and gave sight to the blind, Yet He never once said He was mightier than them, except He said... O you of little Faith.

Matthew 8:26  (Jesus calmed the wind)

He *said to them, “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Matthew 14:31 (Rescuing Peter from sinking)

Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” In Context | Full Chapter

Jesus used many mode of transportation, He walked on water, transitioned from point ‘A’ to ‘B’ (John 6: 25) and He Ascended into Heaven to The Father.

We too do have the power of transition as he said… To be Absent from the Body and be Present with the Lord)

Just like what is said in the bible, ‘In the twinkling of an eye’…

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 15:52

in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. In Context | Full Chapter |

Devotional:

Human beings can live for forty days without food, four days without water, and four minutes without air. But we cannot live for four seconds without hope

We are safe in Christ; Life circumstances cannot separate you from His Love. Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Action / Coming to our Lord:

Conclusion:

Conclusion: 24 Hours and 2,015 will be history… Let us look to 2,016 with optimism as we are all on a journey, and those knowing where their destination will be should be happy.  Close the book by forgiving each other’s debt.

As we enter a new year, we wish to send a Happy New Year wish to each of our beloved visitors…

Have a Wonderful 2016 willed with the Grace of our Lord…

Give the preeminence to our Lord Jesus as he is the King and he is coming again.

Focus:  The Divine Super-Natural Power of God has not expired what he did for the Israelite in bringing down the wall of Jericho He can do for us.  He can level that mountain in our lives.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NIV

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come; Lord thank You that it is not by eloquence and structure of our prayers that we are heard by You my Lord.   Lord we come as we are and say Lord forgive us for our sins as we forgive other of their trespasses. Lord we Honor You and give You first place in our lives, and we thank You Lord for Your Saving Grace, as Your Grace is sufficient for us because You Paid-It-All.

Lord, today we seek Your Divine Blessings and Guidance to each of our visitors that the Good News will bear fruit in abundance for Your Glory. We pray in Your Majestic Name Lord Jesus, to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Wednesday December 30th, 2015

MORNING:

TOPIC:  Is the world getting smarter, safer, or less friendly or more peaceful?

Maybe we should ask… are we getting smarter so we can have a safer, more friendly world? Or is it getting less friendly, less secure and more turbulent?

Knowledge is advancing at a pace that by the year 2020, global knowledge is predicted to double every 72 days!

Our knowledge is our capital… Knowledge is now in an ‘economy’ sector as an asset.  But knowledge without ‘Wisdom’ is like having a 747 Jetliner without a runaway.  So what will the highest learning that anyone can gain from the best university of ‘Higher-education’ and what can it be used for?

Our quest for higher-knowledge will forever be stymied and man will never be independent of what the Creator provided. We can make a better light-bulb, we can blend and package beverages, process food and produce synthetic yarn and fabric. But we cannot do any of the above without using God’s creation. We can print by 3D-Printing a prosthetic limb, but it is still an ‘artificial’ limb.

So the intelligence level of mankind is still a little more than back when they were making bricks from straw and pitch building the Tower of Babel.

God responds to Solomon’s request, he asked for Wisdom.

TEXT:

1 King 3: 6-14

Solomon’s Prayer

Then Solomon said, “You have shown great lovingkindness to Your servant David my father, according as he walked before You in truth and righteousness and uprightness of heart toward You; and You have reserved for him this great lovingkindness, that You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. Now, O Lord my God, You have made Your servant king in place of my father David, yet I am but a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in. Your servant is in the midst of Your people which You have chosen, a great people who are too many to be numbered or counted. So give Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people to discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”

God’s Answer

10 It was pleasing in the sight of the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing.11 God said to him, “Because you have asked this thing and have not asked for yourself long life, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have you asked for the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself discernment to understand justice, 12 behold, I have done according to your words. Behold, I have given you a wise and discerning heart, so that there has been no one like you before you, nor shall one like you arise after you. 13 I have also given you what you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that there will not be any among the kings like you all your days. 14 If you walk in My ways, keeping My statutes and commandments, as your father David walked, then I will prolong your days.”

Devotional:  Christ’s message to the Church of Laodicea…

Revelation 3: 15 ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will[l]spit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, 18 I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore, be zealous and repent.20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. 21 He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

EVENING:

Christ’s message to Laodicea.

The city of Laodicea was in a prosperous region of which is now part of Turkey. The citizens were wealthy (Matthew 13:22; Mark 4:19). Many thought that their prosperity was a sign that God loved them and favored them.

Today our society is no different as we have technology, prosperity and modern conveniences. This has produced a similar sense of false security just like the Laodiceans, they were getting ‘smarter’ but the wealth had created scales over their eyes as they focused on the wealth and their materialistic possessions.

Jesus is calling us to be His ambassadors and to bring His Good News to the ends of the earth. He has provided His Holy Spirit that is here to guide us.

What a glorious day that will be and what a glorious life we have here at present knowing that the Best is Yet to come. The Good News is… We can come to Jesus right now, and receive His Assurance, even on your own, all you have to do is…

Pray: Lord Jesus I come knowing that You are God in One of our Creator, and that You have said no one can come to the Father unless through You, and Jesus, here I am to receive You as my Redeemer and I accept You today as the Author and Finisher of my Faith in You Lord Jesus, and I confess my sins and ask that You forgive me and let Your Holy Spirit guide me from here on, Lord I look to You from this day forward knowing that I am now a child of God, and Lord Jesus I am now a Joint Heir with You knowing I am saved by Your Grace Lord Jesus, I pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, take my life and let it be for Your will and to you be the Glory and the Power Jesus Messiah, Amen.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord we Praise You and affirm that You our Redeemer lives, and we shall stand with You on that day Lord. Lord bless this day as we go in faith for this new week of opportunities to present You Lord as our Eternal Sovereign God in One of the Father in Your Holy Trinity, Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Peace and as we thank You Lord for Your Providence in meeting our needs as You know what we have need of even before we ask. Lord be with us as we serve You and enlarge our mission field for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Tuesday December 29th, 2015

MORNING:

TOPIC:  God’s Grace is still available; He wants you to receive it…

TEXT: John 1:17

For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. In Context | Full Chapter |

Focus:  The Divine Super-Natural Power of God has not expired what he did for the Israelite in bringing down the wall of Jericho He can do for us.  He can level that mountain in our lives.

The end of Grace shall be declared on that day…

                2 Peter 3:10

A New Heaven and Earth] But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. In Context | Full Chapter

2 Peter 3: 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Devotional:

Lord Your Word said… we are to grow in Grace and knowledge of You our Savior Lord Jesus, and as we affirm that to You Lord Jesus is the Glory now and for eternity.

Commentary:

Grace will never end for those in Christ, but for those who did not receive His Grace on that fateful day as described above, the time of Grace will expire… The day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.

How can the above be ‘Good-News’? Because the Mystery of God’s Resurrection through Jesus is the Good News…

Good News -His Faithfulness:

1 Corinthians 15: The Mystery of Resurrection

50 Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For this[s]perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord: The Love of God and His Grace is predominantly preached, but the fact that God will not tolerate Sin… and it for this reason why Jesus is our Mediator and by His Grace we are made Righteous.  But there is a day when this shall all end as stated above on the Day of The Lord.

Because the Scriptures also tells us that…

While Grace is ‘Undeserved’ and un-earned, but if we continue to refuse Him and His Grace as the ‘scoffers’ do the following are as stated in the bible…

Hebrews 12: 25- 29 The Unshaken Kingdom

25 See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven.

26 And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.”

27 This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;

29 for our God is a consuming fire. Deuteronomy 4:  24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Conclusion: Being jealous is not an act of insecurity, it is an act of Love… God’s jealously is not an act of God being insecure of your relationship with Him, it is an act of ‘protecting’ us when He is jealous, because each of us faces that ‘constant-battle’ of being tempted by the evil one.  The Scriptures refer to the forces of evil and it is to be recognized and not just ignored.

Ephesians 6:12 [Full Chapter]

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

The Good news is… Romans 8:38

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, In Context | Full Chapter |

Brothers and Sisters, Friends let us come to Christ and in simple Faith like a Child that trust the parents, let us be still and know that Jesus our Redeemer is God, let us Praise Him for His Love, His Grace and His Redemption that gave us Life-everlasting.  Let us also know that Jesus is the same Yesterday and Today and He is eternal and we can come to Him boldly as He said… “Come unto me” as Children of the Most High, we can be wise and lay up treasures in Heaven, and build on the ROCK. Because He is the Solid Rock.

Prayer: Father in Heaven we thank you in Jesus our Lord and savior who Redeemed us and placed us on the Solid Rock. Lord today be with us and our Visitors and grant us Your Divine Grace as we go with Your Peace. Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness as we ask Your Blessings and Your Providence on us all. Devotional for Monday December 28th, 2015

MORNING:

TOPIC:  Walking by Faith and not by intuition. Trusting in Faith and not by chance.

It’s a new week, where are you headed today?  Some of us will join the traffic, sitting in a vehicle for an hour to the workplace. Some will be up at 4 AM to milk the cows, starting the day’s chores of running a farm, and some may not be going anywhere as they are bed-ridden.

A physical walk is routine but our Spiritual-walk should not be a routine but an opportunity of going to The Lord. So even the bed-ridden can have the Spiritual-Walk which is beneficial to the soul.

Many of us routinely check the weather before starting the trip, some check the traffic report and some just go and join the traffic line.

With God there is never a traffic-jam, never a busy signal nor an interruption because of bad-weather, we do not need intuitive software or any predictive programs to guide you to The Lord.

To ‘Throw Caution to the Wind’ is to do something without worrying about the risk or a negative outcome… this idiom is somewhat true as it could mean cast all your care upon The Lord.

Jesus’ messages to us is plain and simple…

TEXT:  Matthew 22:36-40 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” 38 This is the great and foremost commandment. 39 The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”

Imagine a world where all are abiding by His Commandment-1: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” And Commandment-2: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

The net result would be a world of people caring for others and Divinely serving the Lord. The ‘Key’ factor above is ‘LOVE’.

What Jesus said… “You Shall” this means let it begin with me.  We all can make a difference by starting with oneself.

Prayer… Father we come and thank You through Jesus Christ out Redeemer; Lord Jesus we thank You for what You did at Calvary, as we could not be pardoned for our sins without Your Sacrifice, as it is by Your Blood of Atonement that we are able to receive Your Grace as You Paid-It all...  We thank You Lord for the privilege of bringing Your Good News to our Visitors. Father, today we thank You and in Faith knowing that in You we are a new Creation and by Your Grace we are saved and not of anything that we do; because it is solely by Your Grace we are Saved; and through You Lord Jesus who made us Joint Heirs with You our Lord Jesus. TEXT:

Revelation 5: 11-13 NASB

Angels Exalt the Lamb

11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice,

“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.”

13 And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.”

Why is Jesus called the Lamb of God? (John the Baptist said…)

John 1:28-30 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

28 These things took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

29 The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him and *said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is He on behalf of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who [a]has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.’

Exodus 12: 7 Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel [l]of the houses in which they eat it.

Exodus 12: 12-13 For I will go through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments—I am the Lord. 13 The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you live; and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

The Blood of Jesus has been shed for the next and final ‘Passover’

James 5:7 [ Exhortation] Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains.

Devotional:

Listening to a ‘preacher’ on radio this morning, the speaker was using ‘freaking’ instead of the vulgar intended four-letter word intently used in profanity that is one of the obscenest four letter words.

To sensationalize the discussion needn’t be filled in by any ungodliness when we are presenting the word of God.  If using a substitute adjective for a cuss-word, this is still an offensive action…

To reach the audience of his contemporaries maybe he needed to communicate with such narrative using adjectives in lieu of the badajectives. But is he trying to elevate them to a higher power? Or is he reaching ‘down’ to the gutters.

We are not here to judge this well-intentioned speaker. But the Word of God said… Isaiah 57:4 Against whom do you jest? Against whom do you open wide your mouth And stick out your tongue? Are you not children of rebellion, Offspring of deceit, In Context | Full Chapter

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus as we go through the trials and challenges of this world Lord, we look back 2015 years ago when Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem and had to settle for a stable where You were born my Lord. Lord Jesus we are humbled and humiliated to think that You our Lord had to be born in a stable. Lord if only the innkeeper knew that he was hosting a King and a Lord of lords, Lord we look up to You our Sovereign Eternal God, Your strength was covered by Your Humbleness and mankind has demonstrated our weakness by exalting ourselves while You the Most High allowed us to ultimately realized that we can do nothing and in all things we need You Lord. Lord we thank You for the many blessings and we come giving You our Praises. Lord bless our Visitors and grant each one Your Peace and for this season of celebrating Your Coming Lord, we give You the Glory and Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Saturday December 26th, 2015

MORNING:

TOPIC:  God’s WILL is fulfilled through His Son, who is our Triune God, of Father-Son & Holy Spirit

TEXT: John 6:38 Jesus said…

For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. In Context | Full Chapter |

John 5:30 (NASB) (The words of Jesus)

“I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. In Context | Full Chapter |

FOCUS:  Jesus is our Mediator between us and God…

Commentary:

God’s Will is not a ‘will’ be done, it is a ‘Divine execution by Grace’… Jesus ‘Paid’ it in Full for each of us by coming as a man, dying in our place as He ‘Substituted’ Himself by going to the Cross so that we may receive His Redemption by His Blood. And by coming to Christ and accepting His Grace we receive His Redemption taking us out of the ‘trash-heap’ setting us apart that on that day when the Final ‘Passover’ is made; those who have received Him will be spared the Wrath of sin.

Romans 8: 1-8 Romans 8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Deliverance from Bondage

1Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,

because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so

and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Focus:  The Divine Super-Natural Power of God has not expired what he did for the Israelite in bringing down the wall of Jericho He can do for us.  He can level that mountain in our lives.

Devotional:

We do not have a ‘Selfish’ God…When the Scripture said; those who are in the flesh cannot please God. It is not a matt5er of ‘Pleasing God’ for His sole satisfaction, He is saying… I want you to be walking in the Spirit, and this is by His Holy Spirit though the ‘mind-set’ of the Spirit and peace which He provided so that we through Him be set-aside and by His Grace we shall have no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Coming to the Lord:

Because God will not tolerate sin… God will not tolerate sinners and we are all sinners, does this mean that we can never come to God directly?  Yes, we can only come to God through His Son Jesus and by His propitiation we approach the Father Creator God in Jesus.  Therefore, we must always make our petition to our Lord Jesus as he intercedes for us to the Father.

EVENING:

:  John 14: Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

Commentary: In government or the military there is a rule of Protocol, and depending on the hierarchy standing, one must first go through a specific channel to reach the general or the president.   The order of protocol is set by ranking.

We are so privileged that Jesus does not operate by ranking nor hierarchy.  So when Jesus said…” No one comes to the Father unless through Him” is this because of; Ranking or is it by Hierarchy? No.  It is because of Holiness.  Because of ‘Holiness’ we are not allowed to go to the Father directly, and there is only ‘One’ ‘Mediator’ between man and God, and this is Christ Jesus.

 1 Timothy 2:5-6

New Living Translation (NLT)

For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.

We said this before… Many pray to God without ever referring to Jesus, and so many prayers are conducted with a long dialogue to the Father, and then ‘suddenly’ at the end, Jesus is mention as if He was just a bystander and therefore the prayer ends in a ritual saying “We pray in Jesus name”. Was Jesus absent when you were speaking with the Father? Weren’t you speaking to Jesus in the prayer? No one has ever seen God, only the Son….  1 John 4:12

Conclusion:

We consider that our prayers should end by saying… “We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore” … Amen.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come…. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Divine Sacrifice and through Your Grace we are saved and not of anything we do.  Lord we thank You for Your faithfulness as you have said that You will never leave us nor forsake us… Lord we bring You our Visitors and we ask Your blessings upon each and everyone as it is as You said…Ask and we shall receive, so today Lord we ask in Your Holy Name that Your Will be done as we go in faith giving You the Glory. We love You Lord and we adore You as we celebrate Your coming 2015 years ago. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional:

Romans 13:11-12 New King James Version (NKJV)

Put on Christ

11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now, our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent; the day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

Commentary:

Our Lord is Eternal; He is Jehovah… yes Yeshua/Jesus is Forever. Today rather than thinking of finishing strong, we want to focus on welcoming the New Year with a strong Praise of our Sovereign Savior.

2015 was a challenging year for many, and mankind did not make any new outstanding discoveries during 2015, neither did we improve the standard of living for many. Needless to say there are more homeless population, more people going hungry, schools are failing, more violence and what’s next.  What is the root cause of these disarray?  Whenever someone says…” It is because God is out of the equation” the press would jump all over this person, what is the agenda of our press? TV, Newspapers, Internet and other medias are all focused on what? One could say decadence is the top priority. Life-style and greed factors are headliners.

Who do we blame? Our leaders? Parents, Hollywood? Our pastors? Or just society at large?  One thing for sure we cannot blame God… His warning is perpetually stated in His words.  So how do we end this cycle of a down-spiraling in our society?  Let us look at the ‘Solution”

God’s solution…

2 Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:13-15 (in Context) 2 Chronicles 7 (Whole Chapter)

It would take some global catastrophic event for our ’Stiff-necked’ population to follow the above instruction. So let’s us start with ourselves…  we may recall the little boy tossing beached Star-Fishes back into the ocean, and this old guy came up and said there are so many, what you are doing won’t make a difference, the boy continued tossing, and as he tossed another, he said, to this one it will make a difference.

EVENING:

Conclusion:

Jesus’ Mission of ‘Mercy’

Jesus’ Love for us all…

Jesus’ Sacrifice for our salvation to a Life-Everlasting…

Jesus’ said… We are no longer servants but His ‘Friends’

The Miracles of our Lord Jesus, this is a partial list…

  • Jesus said He was before Abraham…
  • On the first day God said…” Let there be Light” and there was LIGHT, this was before the SUN was placed in the heavens on the fourth-day, So Yeshua / Jesus was declared on the scene from Day-One.
  • The Virgin’s Birth of our Savior… Jesus-Messiah
  • Jesus said… “I am not of this world”
  • Jesus said… “Forgive them Father for they do not know what they do” at His crucifixion…
  • Jesus said… Matthew 26:32 But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”
  •  The Angel said… Matthew 28:7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
  • Christ came for all mankind, regardless if you are a Jew, a Moslem, Greek, Chinese, African, East Indian, Indo China, Japanese, and everyone just as the Auca Indians in the jungles of Ecuador that killed five missionaries in 1956

  • He is coming again… Just like there was a period of silence for 400 years at the end of the Old Testament until we read in Matthew of the Birth of Christ… His return will be seen from the east to the west.  His return will be the Grand Finale of this planet we know as earth, because there will be a New Kingdom…
  • Revelation 22: Epilogue: Invitation and Warning
  • 12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
  • 14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
  • 16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
  • 17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
  • Coming to The Lord… Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Father in heaven we come and by our Redeemer Jesus Messiah we bring Your Good News of Immanuel… God among us. Thank You Lord Jesus for coming as we celebrate the 2015th year of Your Divine Birth…  we thank You for our Visitors in English, Spanish and Chinese as we are privileged to serve you Lord.  To You is the Power and the Glory now and forever… Amen.

Devotional for Wednesday December 23rd, 2015

MORNING:

TOPIC: God’s Promise is a YES, His Faithfulness is His Guarantee, our waiting is a test, be patience in faith…

Wait upon the Lord and your request will be fulfilled.  His promise was made with a caveat, and this is clearly stated…

Whatever you ask in ‘My Name’

John 16:23

In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. In Context | Full Chapter |

TEXT: Mark 11:24

Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Focus:  The Divine Super-Natural Power of God has not expired what he did for the Israelite in bringing down the wall of Jericho He can do for us.  He can level that mountain in our lives.

Devotional:

Lord Jesus as we read Your Word of assurance we thank You for Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us… Therefore, Lord for those that are having challenges or their loved ones being challenged Your assurance that all must come to You as a little-child, and we say Lord that that even those with dementia are reverting to being a child and as said, they will stretch out their hands and another will carry them where they do not wish, as their actions are like a child.  Lord bless those who are care-givers and let the burden be lightened as they come to this message knowing that the best is yet to come, as you have provided a place of splendor for us all.

Coming to the Lord:

  1. The gospel Provides the hope in Christ
Be patient and determined to receive his holy spirit
    Be compassionate to all
    Be truthful and loving
The main goal is the future in Christ
  2. Goals: Paul was a practicing Pharisee but he came to Christ as Christ chose him to be His vessel
Ignore the call to be known let the principle of  'I shall decrease  and He must increase in life' prevail
that I might know Jesus and proclaim Him to all
To be intimately connected to Christ; Jesus to be pre-eminent in my life; To put Him first
  1. Philippian 3: 12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

EVENING

This is Jesus' own example to have a prize a 'core' we cannot build without the core
Nothing compares with Christ as all other is garbage
By sharing my life with Christ I will become more like Christ
We must share in Christ's sufferings and in his victory

Because Christ has made me his own...

Philippians 3:12 New King James Version (NKJV) Pressing Toward the Goal

12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

Philippians 3:16 Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.

We are to attain a closer walk with Christ by giving him first place in my life:
By focusing on what I can do for His Glory and let Him work in me for His glory being the righteousness of God. To focus on him and. Grow in him;
‘Focus on Jesus not on myself’
Change from work to Grace by faith, there’s no substitute for our savior

Approach every day by making Christ preeminent in our lives

Philippians 3: 9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.

Have a zeal to serve Him, when we can say… I have found a friend in Christ, knowing that Ephesians 2: 8-9 is by His Grace…For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord thank You for Your Grace, Your Divine Redemption, and Your Unconditional love.  Lord we praise You and give You first place in all as we yield to You and seek a closer walk with You. Jesus Messiah, we thank You for being our Intercessor as we are presented to the Father by Your Righteousness and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved.  Father we acknowledge that there is one God and one Mediator between You Father and man, and it is by Your Son Jesus Christ who gave Himself a ransom for us all.  Lord let Your Holy Spirit be indwelling in us as we go in Faith.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your favors. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Tuesday December 22nd, 2015

MORNING:

TOPIC: We have been given everything for an eternal life, do you have it? If you need to gain it, read on…

Focus: Oneness in the Body of Christ

Text: Galatians 3:28-29 New International Version (NIV)

28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Commentary:

Reading the Bible or attending Church or praying on your own cannot save you… these bold statements are rather contrary to many preacher’s definitions of being saved.  I was reading about the instruction from a pastor to one of his congregation... “Go home and Pray” If you are an ambassador of a country, it is your responsibility being an ambassador or if you are an officer at the Embassy, if someone comes and asks ”how can I seek political asylum as I am being pursued by my government for speaking about being a Christian”, would we say go home and wait? Wait for what? To be arrested? Or a miracle?  The same applies if someone comes and said, I am facing a doubt in my mind of how to be sure I have been saved? The answer is not one of Reading the Bible or attending Church or praying, Praying will save you if you were praying to the Lord Jesus and in fact called upon His name.

So the instructions go home and Pray may not help you in finding the Truth. The Truth defined as the Good News of His Salvation.  It is the duty of the Pastor to counsel and provide guidance.  Therefore, we are doing what Paul was saying to the Philippians, described below…

Philippians 1:15-18 New International Version (NIV)

Paul’s Chains Advance the Gospel

15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill.16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,

Another instance of ‘Oneness in Christ’ The Ethiopian Eunuch’s finding Christ by Philip’s counselling… Acts 8:26

[Christ Is Preached to an Ethiopian]

26 Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert. 27 So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, 28 was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.”

30 So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”

31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him. 32 The place in the Scripture which he read was this:

“He was led as a sheep to the slaughter;

And as a lamb before its shearer is silent,

So He opened not His mouth.

33 In His humiliation His justice was taken away,

And who will declare His generation?

For His life is taken from the earth.”

34 So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?” 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”

37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”

And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. 39 Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea.

Should Philip have said… ”go home and read the Bible” The Divine message came to Phillip and he saved the Ethiopian government minister that brought Christianity to the country of Ethiopia. Christianity still thrives there.

His Promise & His Faithfulness:

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:8-10 (in Context) 1 John 1 (Whole Chapter)

Action / Coming to our Lord:

We were born in Sin and are still sinner till that day when we are sanctified in HIS KINGDOM, where Sin cannot enter as our Lord will not tolerate Sin, therefore sin cannot be in HIS presence.

The Solution is…. Hebrews 7:25

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:24-26 (in Context) Hebrews 7 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:  Key note:  We are to add nothing to the Gospel, (No Pre-condition)

For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. - 2 Corinthians 2:15

Faith & the Holy Spirit are the Keys and our anchor;Romans 12:9 [Behave Like a Christian]

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Romans 12 (Whole Chapter)

Principles:  Any method of Salvation that departs from Faith is the basis for a perversion or it is no Gospel at all.

Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus we come knowing that our Lord & Savior Jesus sits on the Throne of Righteousness and as we come He intercedes for us. Lord we thank You for this day that we are privileged to serve You Lord and to bring Your Good News to all. Lord let our visitors find Grace in You as Your Faithfulness is forever and those that call on You Lord will be Saved. We give You our Praises and we thank You for allowing us to be a Vessel for You Lord. We pray in Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God in One of the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Monday December 21st, 2015

MORNING:

TOPIC: Gaining the whole world and losing their soul… The ‘Gain’ is temporary but eternity is forever…

Let’s look at some that tried to gain the whole world…

Some tried for world domination, some just wanted ‘power’ and some were just delusionary and we could name a few… Genghis Khan, Alexander the Great, Napoleon, Hitler, and more. Even in our own backyard, we had and still have tyrants that are ruling by greed and abusing human rights.  Down to the level of the gutters we have those still exploiting the human race with slavery, sex trafficking and up to the corporate board rooms we have those legal drug pushers.

In our age of Cyber-tech, we want to be somewhat politically correct without offending anyone. The facts are; both Mohammed and Buddha are buried on earth.

Only our Lord Jesus resurrected and ascended into Heaven.  All others are still in their burial places.

  • Muhammad is buried in the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi ("Mosque of the Prophet") in the city of Medina in Saudi Arabia.
  • The Buddha's body was cremated and the relics were placed in monuments or stupas.
  • Moses: Deuteronomy 34: 6 New Living Translation The LORD buried him in a valley near Beth-peor in Moab, but to this day no one knows the exact place.
  • Jesus ‘The” CHRIST:  His tomb where they laid Jesus and later found empty is a place now known as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This is the location where Jesus was entombed between his Crucifixion and Resurrection. It is located in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. And it’s ‘Empty’

So where is the Good NEWS?  It is…The King is Coming!...

The Resurrection:  Matthew 27:52-54New International Version (NIV)

52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

TEXT: Matthew 24:30 (As said by Jesus Himself)

“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. In Context | Full Chapter

EVENING:

Focus:  The Divine Super-Natural Power of God has not expired what he did for the Israelite in bringing down the wall of Jericho He can do for us.  He can level that mountain in our lives.

Seen by many…

Acts 13: 26 “Fellow children of Abraham and you God-fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent. 27 The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus, yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets that are read every Sabbath. 28 Though they found no proper ground for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have him executed. 29 When they had carried out all that was written about him, they took him down from the cross and laid him in a tomb. 30 But God raised him from the dead, 31 and for many days he was seen by those who had traveled with him from Galilee to Jerusalem. They are now his witnesses to our people.

32 “We tell you the good news: What God promised our ancestors 33 he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm:

“You are my son;
today I have become your father.’

34 God raised him from the dead so that he will never be subject to decay. As God has said,

“‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings promised to David.’

35 So it is also stated elsewhere:

“‘You will not let your holy one see decay.’

36 “Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed. 37 But the one whom God raised from the dead did not see decay.

38 “Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. 39 Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.

God’s warning to scoffers…

40 Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you:

41 “‘Look, you scoffers,
    wonder and perish,
for I am going to do something in your days
    that you would never believe,
    even if someone told you.’

Coming to the Lord:

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we thank You by the Righteousness of Jesus Your Son, Lord Jesus we thank You that You have said all who call on Your Name will be saved… Lord thank You for Your Divine Grace and we thank You for Your Redemption by Your sacrifice at Calvary. Thank You for looking beyond our faults and allowing us to come and accept You. We bring our Visitors to you Lord and pray for Your Blessings upon each and everyone as You Lord is eternal and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

MORNING:

TOPIC:  Jesus ‘The’ Christ…  Anointed by God who is the only One Worthy… He loved us so much He died to redeem us. He Rose to Live Eternally as our Mediator…Praise Him and adore Him as He said we are his ‘Friends’

Because in our midst is the Holy Spirit as Jesus said…

Matthew 18:20

Because in our midst is our Lord Jesus, therefore let us conduct our conversation with decorum.  Conducting ourselves in the presence of God in a manner pleasing to the Lord.

Focus:  The Divine Super-Natural Power of God has not expired what he did for the Israelite in bringing down the wall of Jericho He can do for us.  He can level that mountain in our lives.

Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.In Context | Full Chapter |

By focusing on what I can do for His Glory and let Him work in me for His glory being the righteousness of God. To focus on him and. Grow in him;
‘Focus on Jesus not on myself’

“He was led as a sheep to the slaughter;

Faith & the Holy Spirit are the Keys and our anchor; Romans 12:9 [Behave Like a Christian]

“You are my son;
today I have become your father.’

Devotional for Sunday December 20th, 2015

MORNING:

TOPIC: The Wall fell without lifting a finger, done by just following instructions, are we listening?

TEXT: Joshua 6 New International Version (NIV)

Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.

Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.”

Focus:  The Divine Super-Natural Power of God has not expired what he did for the Israelite in bringing down the wall of Jericho He can do for us.  He can level that mountain in our lives.

Devotional:

Faith is the Key and what we read of Joshua leading the march around the city of Jericho, while they were doing this do we ever wonder if they were thinking…’is this going to work?’

In our daily lives, while we face the challenges and for those us who bring our needs to the Lord, do we question why we did not get the answer we sought?  The reason why we do not get the answer that we seek is because we ‘question’ the Lord and ask why?

Matthew 8: The Faith of the Centurion

When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”

Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”

The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. 11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.

Coming to the Lord:

Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. In Context | Full Chapter |

EVENING:

Good News -His Faithfulness:

When was the last time you made a request to the Lord and are you still waiting?  Try ‘Thanking’ Him and let Him know that His favor is for His Glory.  If you have asked that His favor be granted for a selfish reason, there will be a long wait as He said…

John 15:16

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. In Context | Full Chapter |

 John 16:23

In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 16:24

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

Facts:

God’s Promise is always a YES

His delay is not a NO

His Faithfulness is a Guarantee

Our waiting to receive is a TEST

Our Experience is PROOF of how Earnest we are

So Wait on The Lord and Trust Him because he said He will take care of you.

Come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Prayer:  Father in Heaven in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus as we attend Your houses of Worship let there be a Oneness in You as only in You we have Life and You have said that all who come You will in no way turn-away.  Lord we thank you for Your Unconditional love and Your Redemption of what You have done for our Salvation. Lord we thank you and Praise You and make You first in all that we do for Your Glory Lord. Lord be with our Visitors as we thank You for the privilege of bring many Visitors in all three languages. We seek You Divine Blessing on all who come seeking to know You and to spread Your Good News. Lord be with us all and let Your favors be granted to us all. Devotional for Saturday December 19, 2015

MORNING:

TOPIC:   Amateurs versus Professionals… Amateurs enabled by God always prevail.

Also remember that professional built the Titanic and an ‘Amateur’ a novice built the Ark… but the Ark was designed by God

Consider this… Being on the sinking Titanic, and you just boarded one of the life-boats remember there weren’t enough life-boats, because the builder of the Titanic thought this was an ‘un-sinkable ship.

TEXT:     Genesis 6: Noah and the Flood

This is the account of Noah and his family.

http://www.independent.co.uk/incoming/article9234813.ece/alternates/w460/ark-noah.jpgNoah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. 10 Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth.

11 Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. 12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. 13 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. 14 So make yourself an ark of cypress[c] wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out. 15 This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.[d] 16 Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit[e] high all around Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks. 17 I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. 18 But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you. 19 You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. 20 Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. 21 You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.”

22 Noah did everything just as God commanded him.

TEXT: Matthew 24:37

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.  (in Context) Matthew 24 (Whole Chapter)

Embracing what is ‘politically correct, or what may be influenced by a narrow sector of society is a dangerous attempt to appease such a group. The recent ‘highlight’ focused on America’s first openly gay football player who made headlines, not because of this person being the first, but because of a NFL (National Football League) colleague made an OMG (‘Oh My Gosh) remarks’, this person was fined by the NFL and asked to undergo ‘retraining’. The issue of anyone commenting on Gay lifestyle is now the one that will be look down upon.  Conversely, when another NFL player knelt and Prayed and professed Christ, he was ridiculed.

The Press and most forms of medias are acting like agents of the devil, or are they themselves a member of this sector?  Another recent news item was, a man was arrested for making his objection to text books used in a school where his child attended, this man was protesting the graphic and explicit sexual contents in school text books, and this man was arrested.  Are these the events what Jesus warned us about?

It is sad to look at our moral decay and the financial challenges for a nation that was a lighthouse on a hill to the world; a nation that was a lender-provider to nations around the world now being ridiculed by many...

The recent ‘backlash’ of many Hollywood celebrities launching a boycott of a popular high profile hotel in Beverly Hills because of the owner’s adoption of Sharia law that governs his properties.  This is a wake-up call of some sort.

Approximately 30 years ago the writer of this article was a guest at a dinner at the home of a successful businessman, not knowing about his religious background, I asked... why the ladies aren’t having dinner with us.  The response was ‘they will eat after we eat’, I still did not get it. I had to go to the kitchen to get a glass of water, there were the women sitting around waiting for the men to finish eating, and guess what? They would be eating the left overs.  (This was the Sharia law being observed)

Jesus spoke about the yeast, not because yeast is bad, but His metaphor was to allow a little sin in our lives, like a little yeast will permeate the entire mix.

EVENING:

Writer’s notation… while today’s message is more like a Blog and not a message of devotion, we want to say that the focus is on what our Lord Jesus said about the days to come… the day described by our lord is already here, and He said when these days came, then shall we see Him coming in the clouds.

Yes; His Word will never change, He will never compromise, He forgives and he saves.  He came and He provided His Divine Redemption of all including those described in the events above.  He freely gave us His ‘SEAL’ which is His Blood to prepare us for the final ‘Passover’, but we have to come and receive it.

It will not be a ‘Flood’ this time, so we do not need a boat, as we said… Professionals built the Titanic and amateurs built the Ark, but the Ark was designed by God.  And God is designing the next ‘ARK” and He is freely giving each of us His Grace that will be His ‘SEAL’

So today knowing that our Lord Jesus only spoke the truth… His word could be fulfilled any day…

This is the reason why he said to bring His Good News to the ends of the earth.

The Good News…The Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John all gave us full account of Jesus, His life, His ministry and above all His Crucifixion and He Divine Resurrection.

To come to The Lord… Pray this:  Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Father we thank you for the privilege through Jesus our Lord and Savior to bring Your Good News to many. Lord bless our Visitors and let Your blessings flow to each and everyone who seek You Lord, we pray in Your Holy Name and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Friday December 18, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:   The Grace of God or the wrath of God, choose the right one and be set apart

Choosing the Grace of God…

Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

2 Corinthians 12:9 New International Version (NIV)

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Victory in Christ:

1 Corinthians 15:57

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. In Context | Full Chapter

The Best is yet to come…

TEXT:     Revelation 21 New King James Version (NKJV)

All Things Made New

21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

The New Jerusalem

9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy[h] Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. 12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.

14 Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. 16 The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal. 17 Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. 18 The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Conclusion:

The Kingdom of God is the reign of God. It is not the church, or heaven, or moral reform, or the heart, or any organizations.

The Kingdom of God is by God’s sovereignty, His Supremacy of His Holiness through Jesus Christ who came into the world to redeem us as the Suffering Servant who defeated sin, death, and Satan. It has set us free! It is the fulfillment of the Old Testament promises of redemption and the covenants of God.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him…

Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus we come…. Lord Jesus today we ask that Your hand will be upon us, as we ask that this mission be blessed for Your Glory, and we ask You Lord to lead us from Victory to Victory in Your Holy Name. We thank You Lord for our Visitors and we give You the Glory as all things are held together by You Lord as we look to that day when we shall see You, To You Lord Jesus be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday December 17, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:   Jesus said…’Let it be done on earth as it is in Heaven”, what did he mean?

Commentary: Let it be done on earth as it is in Heaven

TEXT:     Matthew 6: 9-15 Jesus taught the Disciples to pray…

“This, then, is how you should pray:

“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,[a]
but deliver us from the evil one.[b]

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Let us look at theologians throughout history who gave their definitions of what Jesus meant when He said…” Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven”

Our view on this is that Jesus was telling His Disciples on the occasion of when He addressed the crowd stating the Beatitude.

In the ‘Model-Prayer’ The Lord was Praising the Father as we read the opening salutation” Our Father in Heaven” ‘Hallowed’ be Your Name, Your ‘Kingdom’ come so that Your ‘Will” be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

  1. Jesus was Praising the Father in Heaven in His Holy and Matchless Name, He was affirming that the Father’s ‘Kingdom’ He (Jesus) is present so that the Father’s Will be done on earth (Praise Him, adore Him and Worship) as done in Heaven, as it is stated… Psalm 150:6
  2. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. In Context | Full Chapter |

  1. The next petition of asking for the Father’s supplication and forgiveness was stated in the order that we should ask forgiveness from the Father and as we must do the same to others.

  1. The prayer said... ‘and lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil, Jesus was saying to the Father ‘Point us in the direction away from the ‘temptation’ and let us ‘avoid’ evil.

  1. ‘The Kingdom of God is at hand’ We also would like to clarify what Jesus said when He said this…

Mark 9:1

And he said to them, “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.” In Context | Full Chapter |

This was Jesus statement to those including James His brother who did not believe that Jesus was the Messiah until he James saw the Resurrection. (The Kingdom of God)

The KINGDOM of GOD is in Christ’s Crucifixion and His Divine Resurrection.  So to conclude…

  1. Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.   The ‘key-factor’ is God’s WILL, and His Will is to have His Son Jesus as our Redeemer.

  1. The KINGDOM of God is at Hand:  This is demonstrated by the realization of Jesus’ Crucifixion and His Resurrection.  As He conquered death as the Bible stated…

  1. Jesus way saying unless you receive the Kingdom of God, you will never enter it. Jesus was saying we must receive Him who is the Kingdom of God to enter the Kingdom He prepared for those who received Him

  1. Mark 10:15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Acts 17:24

“God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. In Context | Full Chapter

EVENING:

In summation… Revelation 11:15

Seventh Trumpet: The Kingdom Proclaimed] Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” In Context | Full Chapter |

Coming to the Lord: These are the saying of Jesus…

Good News -His Faithfulness:  Come to Christ today, acknowledge Him as His Word stated…

Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’ In Context | Full Chapter |

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Lord and savior we come.  Lord as we gather we are assured that you Lord Jesus is in our midst and You are our Mediator to the Father.  Lord we thank You for Your Divine Grace and we thank you Lord for the privilege of serving You and for our many Visitors. Lord bless each of our Visitors as we Praise You and give You the Glory, we thank you Lord that whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. Devotional for Wednesday December 16, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:   Be patient God’s Kingdom is at hand…be prepared it will be spectacular.

Peace on Earth… Goodwill towards all… It is the CHRISTMAS season celebrating the birth of the Messiah!

We extend to all the Peace and Goodwill from our Savior.  In spite of the strife, the hatred and the differences of our faith and belief, we want to share the Good News of Jesus Immanuel… God with us.

His name is…

TEXT:     Matthew 1:22-24New King James Version (NKJV)

22 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

God’s Kingdom is in our Midst… This is Christ Jesus who came and conquered sin by His Resurrection to Life-Everlasting.   Jesus is God’s Kingdom because of His Omniscient, Omnipotent and Eternal.  In the realms of God, Time is endless as He said let it be done on earth as it is in Heaven, meaning we are to know Him, accept Him and give Him the Glory because he is Holy and He is supreme.

John the Baptist spoke of the ‘Kingdom is at hand’ He was referring to Jesus…

Today as we affirm Jesus our Messiah we wish that all those who are denying Him as The Christ Jesus Messiah, we hope that they will see the light as the ‘scales will be removed from their eyes.

Coming to the Lord:

Matthew 9:27-29New King James Version (NKJV)

Two Blind Men Healed

27 When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!”

28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”

29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”

Commentary:

We are not to judge… but many are ‘spiritually blind’ blinded by the city lights of the new Babylon.  Yes, we live in cities, like Miami, New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bangkok, etc., and these are the modern day ‘Corinth’.

The season of Advent brings sadness to many as they are without their loved ones and many are victims of society’s blindness and are taken hostage by a hostile world.

The city of Corinth was a place of unbridled sin, and today we have modern day Corinth of human trafficking running at a scale of…

  • An estimated 21 million children, women and men are caught in the cycle of trafficking worldwide, with 80% of trafficking victims women, and up to 50% are children
  • There are between 100,000 – 300,000 sex trafficking victims under 18 in the U.S. per year.
  • 12 years old – the average age of entry into the sexual exploitation industry, with some as young as 9 years old
  • Total yearly profits generated by human trafficking are $32 billion – Specifically, trafficking for sexual exploitation generates $28 billion per year
  • Human trafficking is the fastest growing and 3rd largest organized criminal activity, behind only drug and arms trade. Source: Florida Dream Center©

EVENING:

We pray for those that are missing the “Joy” of Christmas and knowing that Christ was born to the Masses of mankind, hence we have CHRISTMAS!

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Finding our way Home to Him: Just follow Jesus’ instruction and He will lead us all home to Him…

John 10:9-11 New King James Version (NKJV)

I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. New King James Version (NKJV)

Conclusion:  Secure our Territory…

Ephesians 6: The Whole Armor of God

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[c]against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

Prayer: Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we praise You and Lord Jesus thank You for coming and we give You first-place in all, and we thank You for our Visitors and ask Your Divine Blessings on us all as we go in Faith knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us.  Thank You Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

MORNING

Focus: Is God too busy to gather His people? No, He said He is coming and we can believe Him.

TEXT: 2 Peter 3 New King James Version (NKJV)

God’s Promise Is Not Slack

Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder),

that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,

and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,

by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.

But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, notwilling that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Commentary:

When the trumpet sound on that day, many will be taking refuge, and there will be nowhere to go…

“They called to the mountains and the rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?’ – Revelation 6:16-17 (NIV)

The Wrath of God will be unbearable, BUT THE Grace of God will spare His elect from the day of Tribulation, and that Jesus still holds all things together and He is in Charge

Think on this       :

  • 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
  • Galatians 6:11 [Not Circumcision but the New Creation] See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!
  • Galatians 6:15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.

Praying to the Lord is the Most-Important Meeting we can have in our daily lives…

All other things we do are secondary, as only our Lord Can Divinely prepare us for the day, He can smooth our tasks, inspire us, give us His Blessings, and by His Grace we can cope with all aspects of life’s responsibilities.

His Faithful calling…

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundant above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.  from Ephesians 3:20 NKJV

When we serve others by spreading the Good News, we are sprinkling the Fragrance of our Lord Jesus, and we also get the sweet smelling fragrance on ourselves… meaning that we are privileged to be a Vessel bearing the sweet smell of our Lord and Redeemer, and while we spread His Fragrance our Lord also blesses us with His Grace…

2 Corinthians 2:15 New King James Version (NKJV) 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 4-10 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

His Faithfulness:

PEACE….

PEACE; A state of tranquility that we all desire.  How can we have peace?

Only from our Lord can we have an Everlasting Peace. Real Peace by anyone on earth is still limited to a finite time.  So we call this a ‘Superficial’ Peace as it can only last till be face that fateful day; but, we must have FAITH in our Lord and accept His Covenant of His Salvation, then we will have Peace here and Peace in a place of Splendor, which will be an Infinite Everlasting Peace & Joy, fully sanctified in the presence of our Lord Jesus. What a privilege we have in Him, as Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and in Faith we can trust HIM.

Conclusion:

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus Who Paid It All

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for our Visitors and the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Lord, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday December 14th, 2015

MORNING

Focus:     Thou shall not kill… is this only for the Christians? No, it is a commandment from God to all.

TEXT: Matthew 5:21  (The Word of Jesus)

Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: In Context | Full Chapter

The headlines… 7,000 to 8,000 Christians killed each year.  Jesus said…’Whosoever’ and this mean even those claiming a ‘religion’; Radical Muslims and some call themselves Christians, who are even killing Christians. So we say that God’s commandment is directed to all in Kenya, Syria, Libya, and now killing of Ethiopian Christians.

As we start this new work week, let us be aware that only what’s done for Christ will last.  As we read of the atrocity of evil men, let us pray for those facing death as they journey home to the Lord.  The story is told of a woman told to renounce her faith is Christ just before she was beheaded, she had a smile on her face as she said ”Jesus”; She was doing what Jesus said, whosoever calls upon my name shall be saved.

Acts 7:58-60 King James Version (KJV) (Stephen looking up and saw Jesus…)

58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.

59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

Let us call upon His name… Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. In Context | Full Chapter

Regardless of the week’s assignment, the challenges and the tasks, let us address the work of the Lord as a ‘Labor of Love’

Remember if this earth could be utopia, then there would be no need to look to a new ‘Restored Eden’, and if we say we are without sin, then we make the Lord a liar.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, In Context | Full Chapter

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus Who Paid It All

Prayer:

We thank You for Your Grace that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. MORNING

Focus:     Be set apart from the coming days of tribulation, the Good News…in Christ we are all set apart and will be away from that fateful day…

TEXT: Revelation 6 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Sixth Seal—Terror

12 I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake;

 and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood;

13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind.

14 The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 Then the kings of the earth and the great men and thecommanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man

hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; 16 and they *said to the mountains and to the rocks,

“Fall on us and hide us from the[n]presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;

17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Set Apart by Grace:

Matthew 24:22

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortenedIn Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Mark 13:20

And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. In Context | Full Chapter |

We who are believers need to do our part as the commission of our Lord was to proclaim His message of; Good News that He Rose Triumphantly and HE is alive on the Throne of Righteousness and He is waiting to receive those that come to Him for His Redemption.

There’s so much to tell, as we recite the key things we all need to know:

  1. God Created the Heaven and the Earth
  2. God Created us in His Likeness
  3. Because we are Created in the Likeness of God, we too shall live forever.
  4. Jesus is the Son of God and He is Supreme and was there from the beginning of it all
  5. Because we are descendants of Adam, we are all born into Sin.
  6. The Good News is: God Sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us
  7. Jesus Paid It All by His Blood of Atonement.
  8. The Grace of our Lord is extended to us all, and right now is the time of Acceptance
  9. If we Accept our Lord Jesus and repent of our Sin, He will Redeem us by His Blood as a Seal and as a Down/Payment for our Redemption that we will be with our Lord in a Place of Splendor forever.
  10. We also need to let it be known; that while our Lord is a Lord of Love, A Gracious Redeemer and a Patient God, He is also a God of Consuming Fire…
  11. Our Lord said that when we are saved by His Grace we will never be lost, but we must know Him and have a close walk with our Lord; as He will meet all our needs and He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Invitation:

Romans 8:11 New International Version (NIV) 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

His Assurance:

Romans 5:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Matthew 26: 41 NIV

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come to You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and You intercedes for us, Lord. Lord be with our Visitors today and fill us all with Your Holy Spirit and direct our pathways as we seek to be led by Your divine guidance as the Author and Finisher of our Faith.  And by Faith we come and accept You Lord knowing that all things work for good to those that love You, and in acknowledgement of Your Word, that You will never leave us nor forsake us, Lord we give You the Praise and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen.

We can come to our Lord Jesus right where we are and he will receive us, and we can have His assurance that we will be saved by His Blood

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace…, Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus Who Paid It All…

Devotionals for Saturday December 12th, 2015

MORNING

Focus:     Can we ever have world-peace? Yes, and it is coming, but before this there will be calamity, but not for all.

Jesus said… Do not worry:

Matthew 6:25-34 [Full Chapter]

Do Not Worry] “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? ...

In live we do the same, we worry about the 'What-Ifs' and not where we are. ‘Today’ is what counts, none of us knows what tomorrow will bring. But we have the ‘Assurance’ of our Lord Jesus that He said... “I came that you may have life and have it more abundantly”

PEACE….

PEACE; A state of tranquility that we all desire.  How can we ever have lasting peace?  Only from our Lord can we have an Everlasting Peace. Peace by anyone on earth is still limited to a finite time.  So we call this a ‘Superficial’ Peace as it can only last till be face that fateful day; when we have FAITH in our Lord and accept His Covenant of His Salvation, then we will have Peace here and Peace in a place of Splendor, which will be an Infinite Everlasting Peace & Joy, fully sanctified in the presence of our Lord Jesus. What a privilege we have in Him, as Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and in Faith we can trust HIM.

The Best is yet to Come… This is a Promise and it is guaranteed by the best Insurer in the Universe and beyond

TEXT:     John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”

Commentary:

As we read the reason for His coming and the Priceless Gift that He offers, receiving this Gift is the first step to living an abundant life, as He promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us… He promised us an abundant life full of His blessings…

Here is what to expect, when we come and accept His Priceless Gift by acknowledging Him as our Redeemer, we are made in a new person, you may say, I do not want to be any other person but myself, this is a choice, but   by coming to HIM, there will be a spiritual change that will remove the scales from our eyes and to allow us to see and receive the Blessings.

This is great news, that such a Priceless Gift is made available to everyone, but there’s also a time limit, as we are under HIS Grace, and Grace is something un-earned and can be pulled at any time. This is why the Lord said; ‘Today is the day of salvation’ now the bad news… if we do not accept His offer the future will be without that Life-everlasting that Jesus paid for at Calvary…

Conclusion:

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All

2 Peter 1:3-4

New International Version (NIV)

Confirming One’s Calling and Election

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

God did give us a ‘Rose-Garden’ but our fore-parents (Adam & Eve) squandered it away.  But God through His Love for us sent His son Jesus Christ to redeem us… John 3:16 New King James Version (NKJV)

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Devotionals for Friday December 11th, 2015

MORNING

Focus:   Join the winning team… Be a Victor and not the victim. Pray the Jabez prayer…

The four key points in the Prayer of Jabez are:

(To the Lord)

Oh. That You would bless me indeed,

And enlarge my territory,

That Your hand would be with me,

And that You would keep me from evil.

1: Seeking the Blessing from the Lord

2: Asking for the Lord’s providence to enlarge his Territory

3: Asking the Lord to keep His hands on him

4: Seeking to abide in the Lord and having God’s shield from the evil one.

On board an airplane the instructions…In the event of a decompression you are to first place the oxygen mask on yourself first before helping others.

While Jabez’s prayer may appear to be ‘self-serving’... Jabez was earnestly praying to have his territory enlarged and by this he meant having a mission field to give God the glory.  Jabez probably applied the principle of logics knowing if he received the blessing of God and had his territory enlarged, like every human-being when we get to this level the most important thing we need is to have the hands of God over us to keep us from being arrogant. And Jabez addressed this knowing that having the ‘enlarged’ territory usually leads to vulnerability from the fiery arrows of the evil one.

The four-lines of Jabez’s prayer made a complete prayer, a well thought out concise request to the Lord.

Commentary:

Just like the prayer of the sinner that said, Lord forgive me for I am a sinner…

Join the winning team and keep praying this prayer knowing that the primary intention that the gift and grace from the Lord are to be used for His Glory.

The first gifts brought to Mary and Joseph with Jesus in the manger is an example of bringing the ‘First-Fruit’ to The Lord.

2015 years ago the wise men came to Bethlehem and ministered to the new-born King…

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 2:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

Think on this       :

Praying to the Lord is the Most-Important Meeting we can have in our daily lives…

All other things we do are secondary, as only our Lord can Divinely prepare us for the day, He can smooth our tasks, inspire us, give us His Blessings, and by His Grace we can cope with all aspects of life’s responsibilities.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundant above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

from Ephesians 3:20 NKJV  When we serve others by spreading the Good News, we are sprinkling the Fragrance of our Lord Jesus, and we also get the sweet smelling fragrance on ourselves… meaning that we are privileged to be a Vessel bearing the sweet smell of our Lord and Redeemer, and while we spread His Fragrance our Lord also blesses us with His Grace…2 Corinthians 2:15  New King James Version (NKJV) 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

Jew and Gentile Reconciled Through Christ… Yes, this is a Politically-Correct Statement and it is Spiritually endowed by the Lord.

His Faithfulness:

Devotionals for Thursday December 10th, 2015

MORNING

Focus:  Spending your time wisely is like managing your money, don’t waste it.  Be a good steward of time & resources

What if we could gain ‘Over-time’ adding years to our lives?  In business the terminology of ‘Burn-rate is really your average monthly costs - it gives people a feeling for how much you spend in a given month.

In sports overtime is declared when there is a draw.  This extra period is only played if the game is required to have a clear winner

So looking at the reality of life, we are given… some 60, 70, 80 -90 or even a 100 years.  The reality of life should be on the quality of life rather than the longevity of life.  Moses was 80 years when he spoke with Pharaoh and 120 years old when he saw Canaan and died at 120 years old...

 TEXT: Proverbs 9:11

For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary:

Continuing of the subject of Stewardship; Stewardship is defined in the dictionary as…

The action of conducting, supervising, or managing of something; especially: the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care <stewardship of natural resources>

Matthew 25:22-23

New International Version (NIV)

22 “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’

23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

Continuing the discussion on Stewardship; the text from Matthew 25: 22-23 are direct statements made by Jesus himself. Oftentimes, our Lord spoke using graphic illustrations, and Jesus was laying out a metaphor that He used bags of gold, but in the real world today we could say that the bag of gold is in fact the talent that He entrusted us with.

To be able to gain ‘The Bags of Gold” that our Lord referred to, He said in Matthews 6: 33 Matthew 6:33

New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

As a custodian of what we receive as the Favor of our Lord, we need to continue to ‘Seek’ Him, and by Seeking Him we will ‘Love’ Him and His Love will overflow to others through us.

As Stewards we are just caretakers (Custodians) until we journey on to Glory in His presence, and at this point all earthly possessions that we held are left behind.

In the above Scripture, our Lord is not telling us to go and trade Gold, He is saying that we must proclaim the Gospel and bring others to Him, just as He said, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

EVENING:

Conclusion… Lay up treasures in heaven, treasure are defined by extending the Love of Christ to others and to use that ‘Bag of Gold’ which is His Gospel of Good News of His Resurrection from death to life-everlasting, this Good News that He died for our sins so that we can be saved, and only by His Blood of Atonement, a divine action to Redeem us as His Grace extended to us while we are here right now, this grace expires when we dies or when Jesus returns, at any of these events, should one or the other occur before you have accepted Jesus as your Redeemer you will face the wrath of God… While our Lord is a loving God full of compassion, yet the scriptures said; ‘Our God is a God of consuming fire’.

Think on this       :  Praying to the Lord is the Most-Important Meeting we can have in our daily lives…

All other things we do are secondary, as only our Lord Can Divinely prepare us for the day, He can smooth our tasks, inspire us, give us His Blessings, and by His Grace we can cope with all aspects of life’s responsibilities.

1 Timothy 6:7

New King James Version (NKJV)

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord we bring You our Visitors and Lord Jesus we come to You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and You intercedes for us, Lord, fill us with Your Holy Spirit and direct our pathways as we seek to be led by Your divine guidance as the Author and Finisher of our Faith.  And by Faith we come and accept You Lord knowi9ng that all things work for good to those that love You, and in acknowledgement of Your Word, that You will never leave us nor forsake us, Lord we give You the Praise and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday December 9th, 2015

MORNING

Focus:  Let us share the Good News that can change lives…

Grace is not measured by our performances.

Nothing we do will impress God until we come to Him and know that He is God and in Faith     accept His Grace and Salvation.

Text: 1 Peter 4:12

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Share the Sufferings of Christ

12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you;

Commentary:

There are several key factors that we need to know

God does not need our money

God does not need our help

God does not need anything from us, but He wants us to…

Love Him, as Jesus said to the crowd…

Mark 12: 28-31

28 One of the scribes came and heard them arguing, and recognizing that He had answered them well, asked Him, “What commandment is the foremost of all?” 29 Jesus answered,” The foremost is, ‘Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord; 30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Matthew 5

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Sermon on the Mount; The Beatitudes

5 When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him. 2 He opened His mouth and began to teach them, saying,

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

5 “Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.

6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

10 “Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Principle: "I tell you...there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." - Luke 15

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

In the world, ye shall have tribulation; in me ye shall have peace.”

Conclusion:  2 Corinthians 1:5 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

5 For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.

The text above outlines His promise that His sufferings were ours; but He bore this burden so that we may have comfort through Him, Christ Jesus as He became a substitute for us on the cross.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Psalm 37:4-5 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

4 Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 2:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Lord bless our Visitors and let this mission of spreading Your Good News flourish like a wild fire to proclaim You as our majestic King of kings and Lord of lords, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

MORNING

Focus:  God doesn’t need our money, but He made a request to each of us… read more

God made us with free will and each of us are created to be an individual of our own.  Today we are in a society that allows you freedom of choice, but there are many still in bondage. Bondage from dependency on drugs, legal and illicit, financially bound by high interest credit cards and a victim of greed and manipulation in a society that exploits rather than enable the lesser privileged.

You may say how about the 50 million receiving welfare (food-stamps) aren’t these people being helped? Yes, and no.  The human trait of dependency on social welfare is not to be blamed on the recipients, it is society to be blamed as many are being indoctrinated to be on the freeness band-wagon so that they can be manipulated for political reasons.

Freedom is a precious thing…Slavery was an abominable period in America and for the world at large… Yet today there are ‘slavery’ in and around us as we speak.  It is a privilege to be considered a ‘Purchased-possession’ of our Lord for His Glory.

Fr0m the bondage of slavery came many who achieved their life’s dream like we read in the biography of Elizabeth Keckley who became a famous seamstress to Mary Lincoln the First Lady to President Abraham Lincoln.

Just like a debtor is subject to the terms of the debt, someone said, corporate enslavement is a high interest Credit Card debt. Why? Because with interest rates as high as 20+ percent, the minimum payment will never pay off this debt, this is in fact enslavement, to be a slave to sin is an enslavement by the devil. To be under the influence of anyone that controls your action is an enslavement. Right now, our Lord can break this Bondage of Enslavement…Remember He said… We should not fear what man can do to us…

A rare option was "self-purchase" (the term itself revealing the base illogic of slavery). In 1839 almost half (42%) of the free blacks in Cincinnati, Ohio, had bought their freedom1 and were striving to create new lives while searching for and purchasing their own relatives.

  • Venture Smith. Born in west Africa, Venture Smith was enslaved as a child and brought to Barbados in the Caribbean and later to Rhode Island and Connecticut in New England. Resolutely determined to become free, he purchased his own freedom by 1765, and, by 1775, he earned and saved enough money to purchase his entire family—his wife, son, and two daughters.
  • Elizabeth Keckley. Enslaved in St. Louis, Missouri, Elizabeth Keckley sought to purchase freedom for herself and her son. Her slaveholder finally agreed to a sum of $1200, but her plans to go to New York and raise money as a seamstress were thwarted when she was unable to acquire enough signed guarantees that she would return. Help arrived from her clients among the wealthy women of St. Louis, as Keckley relates in her autobiography. Later in Washington, DC, she became a valued dressmaker and seamstress to Mary Lincoln and other women of the governing elite.

The devil wants to enslave many, and many fall victims to the scheming of the evil one. But when you know the Lord the Power of the Holy Spirit will outshine the forces of evil and we can claim Victory in Christ…

Colossians 1: 15-29 The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— 23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

As we journey through this life, what do we have that will be considered worthy to be presented to our Creator? Nothing is probably the answer.   In the eyes of man, all of what will be considered worthy for our Lord will be worthless, as our goodness is like a dirty rag.  The only worthy gift we can bring to our Lord was Paid for by Him, in the eyes of man, this is considered ‘Intangibles’; because to many even the Miracles performed by our Lord would be classified as intangible.  Nothing we have here on Earth will be taken with us… Therefore, do not Blend-In, Shine by Being a child of God.

EVENING:

Through Jesus our Redeemer we were given the privilege of coming to the Cross, receiving His Grace and by His Grace we are saved. So as Children of God, we are victorious in Christ, our Theme today is… ‘be Joyful and know that our Redeemer Lives’ and He is coming back as He said.  What a Glorious day that will be.

Principle: The ‘Tangible’ things of this world are worthless in the sight of God, the Gift of Salvation by Faith which is unseen, to man this is intangible, but to our Savior it is “Priceless’

  1. Romans 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! Romans 5:16-18 (in Context) Romans 5 (Whole Chapter)
  1. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:22-23 (in Context) Romans 6 (Whole Chapter)

To modern man, the terms ‘Sin’ and ‘enslavement’ are highly offensive. Yet society is made up of people that fit right under the ‘enslavement’ category. Enslavement is defined as…to be subjugated, or be conquered by someone.  The teaching of Christianity focuses on …Colossians 2:8See to it that at no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. Colossians 2:7-9 (in Context) Colossians 2 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God we come… Lord Jesus Today’s words of Assurance provided all of what we need to face this day. Lord Your Graciousness and Your Love we accept and we Praise You as You have given us the ultimate Gift of Eternity with you Lord. As we go forward in Faith we seek Your Divine Blessings and Your guidance knowing that by Your Holy Spirit we can face the wiles of the evil one and we can conquer in Your name and be Victorious in You our Lord Jesus.  We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of The Father and Your Holy Spirt; to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday December 7th, 2015

MORNING

Focus:  The world is under attack by people in the name of a god, and it is futile.

Exodus 18:10-12 New International Version (NIV)

10 He said, “Praise be to the Lord, who rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians and of Pharaoh, and who rescued the people from the hand of the Egyptians. 11 Now I know that the Lord is greater than all other gods, for he did this to those who had treated Israel arrogantly.”

Do you believe there is a God, even the devil does. And he (the devil) shudders

Thoughts for the day:  Does the belief of the devil that there is a God confirms your belief?

TEXT: Ephesians 6:10-18 [Full Chapter]

[The Whole Armor of God] Finally, build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil's evil tricks. For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age.

Commentary:

You do not need the devil to confirm that there is a God, because God loves you, and the devil hates you…

God through His Son Jesus who is God in One of the Father cares for you, the devil wants to destroy you.

Remember the devil cannot use you unless you grant him your permission. This is done when we yield to temptation, being tempted is not a sin, but to indulge knowing that the temptation is from the evil one, you are now crossing over and will be used by the devil.

The devil has no power that cannot be overcome when you are armed with the Word of God.  Unless the devil is permitted he cannot harm those in Grace with the Lord.  What do we mean, He could not harm Job, he was permitted to render pain and grief but God stopped him from killing Job, and God restored Job and all that he lost caused by the evil one.

So today do not grant your permission to the evil one.  We need to be armed with the armor of God.  The text above clearly stated… For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age.

Knowing that God is Real and Jesus who is Supreme and Eternal and conquered death, on the other hand we need to know there exists the wicked spiritual forces who is the ruler of this dark-age.

Yielding to temptation is like knowing that beyond the next step is the end of the ledge and you will fall 20 floors to the ground, but the lure of this world tempts you to indulge.  So indulging you fall, not many people ever survived such a free-fall to tell us of the brief ‘soaring feeling’ that may be a good-feeling which ends in seconds.  Such is the pleasures of what the devil offers.

The text also said… build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil's evil tricks.

Remember the ‘Mighty-Power’ belongs to the Lord, and through Jesus we have His Power to withstand the devil’s evil tricks.

Ephesians 6:13-18 (GNT) 13 So put on God's armor now! Then when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist the enemy's attacks; and after fighting to the end, you will still hold your ground.

14 So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight around your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, 15 and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. 16 At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the Evil One. 17 And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. 18 Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God's people.

  1. Truth as a belt tight around your waist
  2. Righteousness as your breastplate
  3. The readiness to announce the Good News of peace is your shoes
  4. Faith as a shield
  5. Salvation as a helmet
  6. The word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you

The above represent the most advanced weapon ever made, as it is made and provided by God.

The wall of Jericho fell without one sword, battering-ram of efforts of God’s army. The mountain in our lives can be mowed-down to a rubble when we deploy the 6 shield and weapons above.

Today when you go that ‘extra-mile’ and a co-worker say to you; “you don’t have to do that, it is not your duty”, just remember God rewards those that are faithful and He will see your good works.

A reminder to us all... God will not be mocked; Ecclesiastes Chapter 12: 13-14  After all this, there is only one thing to say: Have reverence for God, and obey his commands, because this is all that we were created for. 14 God is going to judge everything we do, whether good or bad, even things done in secret.

EVENING:

We have God’s assurance… Romans 8:1-3 Good News Translation (GNT)

Life in the Spirit

There is no condemnation now for those who live in union with Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit, which brings us life in union with Christ Jesus, has set me free from the law of sin and death. What the Law could not do, because human nature was weak, God did. He condemned sin in human nature by sending his own Son, who came with a nature like our sinful nature, to do away with sin.

The Lord is not slow to do what he has promised, as some think. Instead, he is patient with you, because he does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants all to turn away from their sins. 2 Peter 3:9 GNT

2 Corinthians 11:14
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 11 (Whole Chapter)

Come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Heavenly Father we thank You for this privilege of serving You for Your Glory. Lord bless our Visitors and Lord Open the flood-gates that this endeavors will spread Your Living Water.  Lord we Praise You and to You Lord Jesus we give You the Glory and to You Jesus Messiah is the Power for evermore… Amen.

Memo: As we face this new week let us share the day with Our Lord, carry over a little of ‘Sunday’ to have the presence of our Lord near us… He said he encamps around us as we stand in His presence.

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 2:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

Commentary:

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 4-10  But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

Jew and Gentile Reconciled Through Christ

His Faithfulness:

PEACE….

PEACE; A state of tranquility that we all desire.  How can we have peace?  The Peace of man is as good as an Ice Cube on Interstate 95 on a Hot-Summer day.

Only from our Lord can we have an Everlasting Peace. Real Peace by anyone on earth is still limited to a finite time.  So we call this a ‘Superficial’ Peace as it can only last till be face that fateful day; but, should we have FAITH in our Lord and accept His Covenant of His Salvation, then we will have Peace here and Peace in a place of Splendor, which will be an Infinite everlasting Peace & Joy, fully sanctified in the presence of our Lord Jesus. What a privilege we have in Him, as Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and in Faith we can trust HIM.

Conclusion:

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Lord, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday December 6th, 2015

MORNING

Focus:         But He looked beyond my faults… and saw my needs, by Dotty Rambo

AMAZING GRACE SHALL ALWAYS BE MY SONG OF PRAISE

FOR IT WAS GRACE THAT BROUGHT MY LIBERTY

I DO NOT KNOW JUST WHY HE CAME TO LOVE ME SO

HE LOOKED BEYOND MY FAULT AND SAW MY NEED.

I SHALL FOREVER LIFT MINE EYES TO CALVARY

TO VIEW THE CROSS WHERE JESUS DIED FOR ME

HOW MARVELOUS THE GRACE THAT CAUGHT MY FALLING SOUL

HE LOOKED BEYOND MY FAULT AND SAW MY NEED.

Think on this…

Our faults were not made by our Creator… We are created by God, so why do we have faults?  Because God trusted us and made us with free will.  We may ask the question then why did He allow the serpent (the devil) to have tempted Eve?  God wanted us to choose on our own as He did not created us to be slaves, so He gave us a mind of ‘Free-will’.

Genesis 2:16-17New International Version (NIV)

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

Just like the Garden of Eden, the new restored Eden which is His Kingdom (Heaven) The Kingdom will not be ‘Ruled’ because God wants us to know Him, love and adore him as He loves us.  If you have to whip your dog to be subordinate to you this is a case where the animal doesn’t love you. But if the dog greets you wagging his tail and expressing his love for you, then this is the free-will of the Dog. But God created us far above the animals, He created us in His likeness.

So the choice made by our fore-parents resulted in us being blemished, but we have a loving God who sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us and by His Blood we are Sanctified. Sanctification is to make ‘Holy’.

John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

John 16:33 [Full Chapter] (The saying from Jesus)

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

TEXT: 1 John 1:10New International Version (NIV)

10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

MORNING

Focus:             Abundance, Power and totally dependable, He never fails, come to Him for it is His will for you to rejoice in Christ

His promise of an Abundant Life… God’s move is not a mysterious way, He moves in a Divine way

Text: Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:
He knows our thought even before we think it…
How can our Lord know this? Because He is Omnipresent, and Omnipotent

Humans are a privileged group as Our Lord endowed us to be in His likeness; but our sinful nature prevented us from gaining the powers that He intended us to have.

We are like a car that is equipped with power options that will not work because the switch is broken, why? The sinful nature of man prevented us from achieving the real power of what our Lord endowed.

  • When God calls us he has better place for us
  • Never question God
  • Be prepared to move when God tells you to go
  • Be prepared to trust God as his plans for us is to Prosper us
  • Safety is not everything,
  • Ships are safest in harbor but this is not what ships are built for
  • We are called to be agent of God's kinship
  • God never calls you without also sending you out
  • We are called by God to be given His assignment in our lives
  • Grace affects all areas of our lives
    Grace and Mission
The principle of mission: His rewards is an abundant life
Because God blesses those who takes risks for Him but the risk is insured by faith
Because we have his assurance it is eternal as we lay up treasures in heaven as his faithfulness abounds

1 Timothy 4:1

New International Version (NIV)

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

His Promise:

James 3: NIV

Two Kinds of Wisdom

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

His Faithfulness:

James 3:  17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

God did the heavy lifting we are told that his yoke is light
Jesus was is the example of Joy

Come to Him as He said today is the day of Salvation.

Conclusion:

  • God will place us where He wants to do his mission
  • We are called to mission every day to be an ambassador on His behalf
  • Each of us have a life with a different story
  • We must use our life as a metaphor from the Gospel to spread the light of the world our Lord Jesus.
  • Find the mission for ourselves as when we spread the Fragrance if God we receive his fragrance too
  • Still he Chooses to work through me and his blessing will flow to other for His glory
    The prize and rewards
  • By placing Jesus first I have been blessed beyond my expectation
His rewards is an abundant life

Our Lord is the Architect of the ‘Just-In-Time’ principle; (JIT) Taiichi Ohno was named the Father of JIT at Toyota.  But the real father of it all is our Creator that started it all.

Principle:              Our Lord is always on Time and never behind, He Leads and we follow.

Prayer:  Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer, Lord Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God, as we start this new week Lord, let each day be a day of Grace, and let Your Blessings flow to us and to others that we interact with. Lord we place You on High, and we stand at the empty Cross knowing that You ascended to the Throne of Righteousness, and we are privileged to come as You intercede for us. Lord, we pray for our Nation and we ask that Your will be done and bring us to You so that You may heal our land, we pray for those in the pathway of the storm hitting New Jersey and New York. Lord we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

MORNING

Focus:             Abundance, Power and totally dependable, He never fails, come to Him for it is His will for you to rejoice in Christ

Researchers have been exploring storing-energy-in-chemical-bonds, and it a combination of Solar=Hydrogen etc., very similar to the process of Photosynthesis. Our body uses food and we gain energy from this process.

C6H12O6 + 6 O2  6 CO2 + 6 H2O + energy (heat or ATP) Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is considered by biologists to be the energy currency of life. It is the high-energy molecule that stores the energy we need to do just about everything we do.

Our Creator created all of what man is just discovering…  Our use of fossil fuel is just one step ahead of the fire used by the cave dwellers.  The next phase of ‘Free-Energy’ derived from Chemical bonds is also already in existence but just being harnessed and will be ‘exploited’ by man and then it will no longer be free. This is why billions are being put to work on this new leading edge methodology of producing and storing energy.

While man seeks the next step in powering the grids, the abundance and dependable Power-Source from the Savior is totally ‘Free’

Jesus is the Light of the World… not just this world, as in us we are to radiates His Light to lead others to Him

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 2:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

Think on this        :  The book of Revelation is a Recap of the entire world to come, it cover the Power of the Almighty, His Mercies, His calling for us to repent, the Coronation of the King of kings and Lord of lords and an imaginable Kingdom, built without human hands.

Ephesians 3:20 NKJV

When we serve others by spreading the Good News, we are sprinkling the Fragrance of our Lord Jesus, and we also get the sweet smelling fragrance on ourselves… meaning that we are privileged to be a Vessel bearing the sweet smell of our Lord and Redeemer, and while we spread His Fragrance our Lord also blesses us with His Grace…2 Corinthians 2:15  New King James Version (NKJV)15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 4-10  But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

Lord bless our Visitors, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday December 3nd, 2015

MORNING

Focus:   A Triple AAA Rated Bond, totally bankable and redeemable…to get this, Read about this in Romans 8: 28-39

A Bond is defines as… an Instrument that; promise, pledge, vow, oath, word (of honor), guarantee, assurance.

A Corporate Bond is used to borrow money from lenders with the guarantee of repayment.

Similar to an Insurance Policy that will cover the replacement cost resulting from a catastrophic event, such as a fire, an earthquake, and other perils. Many policies will exclude ‘Act of God’ are defined as; —tornadoes, earthquakes, death, extraordinarily high tides, violent winds, and floods. Many insurance policies for property damage exclude from their protection damage caused by acts of God.

In the Bible the ‘Day of The Lord’ is mentioned 16 times with vivid descriptions, The prophecy dates back centuries before Christ came on that first Christmas and we will just highlight the one spoken by Jesus Himself…

Matthew 24: 29- 30.

29 “Immediately after the distress of those days “The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’

30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.

31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

This is the day also known as Judgment day… Hollywood made several movies (somewhat) based on the Bible including the fiction ‘Independence-day’.  The Book of Daniel was quoted by Jesus when He spoke of the distress of those days.   For many the Book of Revelation is almost a Science-fiction manuscript waiting to be produced for the big-screens.  The awesome symbolism depicted in Revelation 4: 6-8 In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:

“‘Holy, holy, holy

Is the Lord God Almighty?’

Who was, and is, and is to come.”

The depiction of the ‘Living-Creatures’ with six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. John’s writing in Revelation was to convey the awesome power of the Almighty and the Holy Lamb of God… Jesus

This is Jesus making reference to the ‘Rapture’ while the Rapture is frequently used, it is not mention in the Bible. But Jesus foretold this by saying… Matthew 24: 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Jesus went on by saying…

The Day and Hour Unknown Matthew 24: 36-41

36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

The Text above is the affirmation of God’s Irrevocable Bond and it is endowed to the believers, and there are some that Jesus referred to as... (For them their policy has lapsed, and revoked, because His ‘Grace’ will no longer be extended.

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

So today Jesus is calling all to be a beneficiary of His Irrevocable Bond that will never expire and it provides full coverage…

So we answer today’s topic with the Assurance of The Lord with:

Revelation 21 New International Version (NIV) A New Heaven and a New Earth

21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.

MORNING

Focus:    What a privilege we all have, because God always leads us in Triumph in Christ…

Not only did He lead us to Triumph in Him, He did this while we were undeserving of His care.  But being at ‘Peace’ with God is not automatic, because we inherently separated from God. Why because there is a constant battle against the flesh…

Galatians 5:17 New International Version (NIV)

17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.

What would you like to have as your triumphant prize? Could it be that new job, new car, and a big fat bank account? How about Health, Wealth, and what He came to give…An Abundant Life.

Jesus said He came so that we could have an abundant life and to have it ‘more’ abundantly.  This superlative

Description used by Jesus means the highest attainable level or degree of something, as an adjective superlative means highest in quality.

The superlative-privilege that we have from Christ to be triumphant in Him will be fulfilled when we can all say what a beautiful morning… because of Victory in Jesus.

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 2:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

Commentary:  As we read more of His Word, we see His message that will be in Light… “The Best is Yet to Come”.

Because He has prepared a place that is unimaginable as described here…

Revelation 22:  New International Version (NIV)

Eden Restored

22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

His Promise:

Devotionals for Tuesday December 1st, 2015

MORNING

Focus:    What anxiety do you face today? Is it separation? Health, finance, stop worrying because He said so…

In 24 days it will be the Birthday of the Savior… but prior to this great day of celebration the stores, the Internet and even the car dealers are promoting their ‘Holiday’ shopping.  There used to be a slogan of the countdown to Christmas, which would remind shoppers of the remaining days to Christmas.  I have not seen any such slogan that would be saying… there’s only 24 days left before the Holiday… I guess such a slogan would lack the ‘impact’.

The real meaning of the ‘Season’ is ‘Christ brought to the masses’, therefore ChristMAS was declared…

There was this little girl watching the Parade and the floats featured the usual commercialization of Christmas, then came a float that featured the Nativity scene of Christ in the Manger, the girl said, how beautiful is the parade but they had to bring ‘Christ’ into it.  This little girl had no idea of the real meaning of Christmas, and we would not blame her as no one ever told her that Christmas is the Advent of the Messiah born as Emanuel… God with us.

Today as we address the anxieties of separation, health, finance, relationship, loss of a loved-one or any other reason, we can be assured of this; because He came and He said… “I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly’

John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantlyIn Context | Full Chapter |

There was a time when Jesus drove out the money changers, those selling doves etc., from the Temple court.

Matthew 21:12-14 New King James Version (NKJV)

Jesus Cleanses the Temple

12 Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. 13 And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’

14 Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.

The tradition of giving Gifts came from the event of…

Matthew 2 New International Version (NIV)

The Magi Visit the Messiah

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him.4  When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written:

“But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,     are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler
who will shepherd my people Israel.’

Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.”

After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. 12 And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.

There’s nothing wrong with Gift-giving… but when we make the gift(s) and those you give to more important than Christ, this is where we are acting no different from the money changers and the vendors in the Temple-Court.

We can take Jesus at His Word and stop worrying, because to worry after you have asked Him, it a form of mistrust.

So be content and stop worrying, as we are told to seek Him first…Matthew 6:33-34 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

It is Christ’s great commission that we bring His Good News to the Money changers, vendors and those not knowing the meaning of Christmas.   Let us look to the day when we shall behold Him…

Let us thank the Lord for the privilege of knowing the real meaning of Christmas and to take Him at His Word that…

Be content and stop worrying, as we are told to seek Him first…Matthew 6:33-34 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior… Lord we accept Your Word of assurances and we look to that day when we shall see you as You are… Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we go in faith knowing that You have said seek You and Your righteousness and not to worry as all of our needs are met according to Your untold riches.  We pray in Your Holy name and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.
