New discoveries of planets are made frequently. Do we really know what is out there? Galactic volcano, Blackholes, FRB (Radio Burst) ORC (Radio Circle). With all the research, space probes, etc. We have not yet found life, and we have yet to find Eden.

Genesis 3:24

After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

We have GPS, and Google earth can show you almost everything, but it will not find the Garden of Eden. So, the Garden of Eden is hidden in plain sight, but still unseen.

So, when we pray and we reach out to the Lord, we must have faith, our Faith must establish that we are speaking with our Lord, and knowing that He said, that ‘when two or more are gathered in His Name, He is in our Midst’.

“In Jesus’ name we pray”

Many prayers end with an abrupt ending… ‘In Jesus name we pray’; this is mention as if Jesus was not in the midst of the prayer to the Father.

Jesus is not the 3rd Party in our Prayers.

Jesus is not just a ‘By-stander’ He is our Mediator

Jesus said…

No one comes to the Father without Him…. So, when we pray, He is in our Midst. There are no One to One Prayers, all prayers are made to God the Father in the Trinity.  Jesus is ‘One’ with the Father as God in the Trinity.  Jesus is our Triune God of Father Son and Holy Spirit.

Je 17: 7-8 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord... He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream... Its leaves are always green, and it never fails to bear fruit" (17:7-8).

Coming into the presence of the Father without Jesus is like breaking protocol… why? Jesus said no one come to the Father unless through Him.

There are no One on One Prayers to the Father… why? Because Jesus said, “No one comes to the Father unless through me”

Just like when Stephen was being stoned by the crowd, he looks up and prayed… Jesus receive my Spirit, then he saw Jesus standing at the right-hand of the Father.

So, when we end our prayers to the Father and abruptly say…”In Jesus name we pray” are we making an inference to Jesus being absent? This is out of protocol as Jesus was present and you had to be speaking to Him as well as the Father, therefore we must say… To You Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy Name, and to end with a salutation (just , like you would say to a friend have a great day… But Jesus is Sovereign and Eternal so ‘A Great day’ is too superficial; addressing our Lord it is more like…  to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…  Because His Prayer (The Lord’s Prayer) ends with, ‘For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory’… Amen,

Lord we pray in Your Holy Name as we ask Your Blessing on our Visitors and us all. Lord bless the coming days as we enter a New Year, To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the glory forevermore. Amen.

Entering the age of AI (Artificial Intelligence) the fanfare for this is so large, you would think this is the solutions to all problems in the universe…

Scientists may have stated that Artificial Intelligence could overtake humans. But the answer is No… the Super intelligent AI could get close to being smart enough to be on the fringe of exceeding our capacity. But it is still limited in its learning capabilities, even with the advance algorithms there will be limited advancement to make us humans obsolete.

AI will displace many jobs, but presently it cannot negotiate a contract, especially in the trading of commodity, all of the parameters needed to frame up a deal still must be inputted to the system to allow the AI to use them to form the basis of a contract.

Dealing with AI, it is easy to confuse it, so when you are trying to make a reservations, checking the status of a bank charge on your credit card, just ask it some stupid question and it will not comprehend it. My favorite statement is to tell the computer,” you are dumb and knows nothing”… the usual answer, let me connect you with someone who can help you.

Recently at the Airport Kiosk I had problem finding my flight. With assistance it was located after a few tries. Some self-serv Kiosk are smarter, but when you book through a third part travel service, the method of pulling up your information are not standardized.

As we revisit the announcement of the Birth of Jesus, it was ‘angels’ that declared the good-tidings. No Artificial Intelligence Only Divine messengers.

Luke 2:9

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.

Luke 2:10

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

Luke 2:13

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God, and saying…
14
“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

So as said… Christ came to bring ‘Peace’ to those on whom ‘His’ favor rests. Are you having His Peace?

Receive His Peace today; John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

What is all the wealth in the world but having no peace?  It is like the rich man who told his accountant that when he dies, all his money must be buried with him. So, his attorney came to the graveside, and asked the accountant…’how much money will be placed in the grave’? the accountant said about a million dollars. So, the attorney wrote a check and said, ’place this in the hole and give me the cash, he won’t know the difference’.

So, God’s Peace through Jesus our Lord and Savior is priceless.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Divine Grace and through You Lord we have a Peace that defies all understanding. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all You Peace as we go in faith knowing that all things work together for Good to those who loves you. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forever. Amen.

Tuesday December 29th, 2020

Approaching the end of 2020, it is amazing as we just got used to writing 2020 on the checks. So, this Friday start writing 2021.

Time is fleeting by at a fast clip.  Earth moves at a speed of 460 meters per second--or roughly 1,000 miles per hour, the speed is constant, but things do appear to be unfolding faster.

Daniel 12:3-5 New International Version

Those who are wise[a] will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”

Acts 2:17

“‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

Matthew 24:22

“If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

Mark 13:20

“If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them.

As we address 2021, imagine it was just over 105 thousand weeks that Jesus came, or about 737,000 days ago

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 2 Peter 3:8

Many New Year’s resolution is being planned, the heavy campaign on the media will be weight loss programs.  Here is a good Resolution… Know Christ and make Him known.

The adage of one thing for sure… death and taxes, no this is not true,

as in Christ we will never die.

Give God the Glory as we Praise our Lord Jesus for His Saving Grace…

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we com in Jesus our Lord and Savior. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Saving Grace and we seek Your Divine blessings on our Visitors and us all. Grant us Your Divine Providence as You know our needs. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus… Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Monday December 28th, 2020

There should not be an ‘Aftermath’ of Christmas, the adage that every day is Christmas, is an over-used slang, but truly every day is a day for Christ.

Ending the celebration of Christmas 2020. And moving on to the New Year’s celebrations of 2021…this should be somewhat unified. A celebration without Christ is like trying to take off without the captain. So therefore, there is no ‘Aftermath’ Christmas is an ongoing event.

As the Word said… “GOD WITH US”

Matthew 1:23

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). In Context |

So, as we navigate the pathways of life, let us look to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

For many the use of ‘everyday is Christmas’ hopefully that their Christmas is a declaration of Christ being celebrated and not a celebration of a windfall or some successful event.

Substituting something in lieu of Christ is making that achievement your idol. So, celebrate Christ. Make Him Preeminent and remember that He gets the First- fruit.

Romans 11:33-36 New International Version

Doxology

33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[a] knowledge of God!
    How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?”[
b]
35 “Who has ever given to God,
    that God should repay them?”[
c]
36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus as You intercedes for us, we seek Your Divine blessing on our Visitors and us all. Lord we give You preeminence in all and knowing how unsearchable Your Judgment are… Lord we thank You for Your Divine Redemption as we seek You as the Author and Finisher of our Faith. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forever. Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday December 27, 2020

Going it alone, you do not have to… His Holy Spirit is always with you…

During the Seasons of Christmas many are lonely, missing loved ones, family members.  Thinking back of the good times should not be remorseful, it should be part-1 of your life as part-2 is where the Best is Yet to Come…

Going it alone is not necessary… so, just say “Lord Jesus I thank You for Your Grace” as His Grace is sufficient for you.  We should not be absorbed by the past as the most important moment of your life is ‘Right-Now’. In the “blink of an eye’ things can change and with Christ the change will be His Will when you ‘Go with Him’ as He said ‘Abide in Me’

[ The True Vine] “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

Light is defined as… something or someone that makes vision possible… Jesus said:

John 12:46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus said this…
John 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

Today you are not alone,

John 15:9 [ Love and Joy Perfected] “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

This Christmas, be still and know that He is God… Psalm 46:10

Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth!

Remain in Christ…

Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; They will still be praising You. Selah

The faithfulness of the Lord…

They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,

The Fruit that God provides through His Divine {Providence shall BE…

If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.

So, as we look forward to a New Year, let us face the world knowing that Jesus said…
John 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you/

So, come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Pray... Lord Jesus I come in Faith accepting Your gift of Salvation I choose to be alive in You by your Grace my Lord. Lord Jesus receive me as I repent of my sin and accept your great Salvation by your Blood of Atonement, and I seek Your divine guidance in my life, come into my heart, let Your Holy Spirit lives in me now and forevermore…to you Lord be the Glory... Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come… Lord Jesus we thank You for Your priceless gift of Salvation and in you we have victory.  Lord today as accept Your Word of assurance that you will come again and receive us to Yourself, that where You are, we shall be also. Lord thank You for the privilege of serving You; and we thank You for our Visitors as we ask Your Divine blessings on each of us. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday December 26, 2020

The Greatest event of all time… The Birth of Jesus ‘Emanuel’ God with us…

Focus: While Jesus came 2,020 years ago, He never used force, nor did He ever impose His Power on us.  This is the same Jesus who was with the Father on the day of Creation…

Genesis 1:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was[a] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.

Jesus is the Light of the world…

John 8:12[Full Chapter] Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk-in darkness but have the light of life.”

The Greatest Event of all times…  It is not the Greatest Story ever told… Jesus’ birth is an event.

Luke 2: 6 So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Glory in the Highest

8 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid.

10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

This is the next great event to come…

Matthew 24: The Coming of the Son of Man

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Jesus said… John 8:23 And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Do not be confused by Jesus’ saying ‘IF’ I go… He did go and the question of ‘If’ pertains to going for you.  Therefore, while Jesus went, if you knew Him, then He would be preparing a place for you.

Commentary: We said it once, that our Lord knows each of us by our names, but our real name is ‘Sinner’ this is why Jesus came as a man, died for our sins and through His Triumphant Resurrection we are Redeemed…

Our Lord is never late, and He is never impatient, He is slow to anger… just as he did in the garden of Eden when Adam and Eve went against His command, He was not rushing to kill them, He was patiently coming to Adam, and He said… Adam where are you? (He knew exactly where they were) Adam and Eve were hiding, but when they came to Him, He still loved them, He made them clothing from animal skin, (This was the first demonstration of the shedding of blood to cleanse us from sin)

Principle: Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10: 13 NKJV

Prayer: Heavenly Father we come in Your Holy Presence through Jesus our Redeemer.  Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Divine Grace and through You Lord we are saved by Your Grace. Lord as we celebrate the Joy of Your Birth, Lord we can boldly say you Lord Jesus our Redeemer Lives… Be with our Visitors and grant us all Your Providence, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Christmas Day December 25th, 2020…

Merry Christmas…

2,020 years ago, the world’s calendar began, the year was 00 when our Lord was born on that Silent Night in a stable and laid in a Manger.  It is overwhelming to think that our Lord had a feeding throuf for his Cradle.

Today we share the plight and the humble setting of where the King of kings, Lord of lords was born, and reflecting on Mary’s burden giving birth in a stable.

Today we have maternity hospitals and five-star hotels, but in the year 00 there was no room at the inn for Mary and Joseph. The humble entrance of our Lord Jesus and His thirty-three years spent in this world made more impact than any other event to humankind.

Jesus came from the Father, and He is the image of the invisible God.

Colossians 1: 15-20 The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,

20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

It was Isaiah who wrote over 700 years before Jesus was born (2,756 years ago,) about the coming of Immanuel…

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

So today we have Christmas day… the Birth of Jesus who is no new kid on the block.  It was Jesus who was there at the beginning of the creation.

Jesus himself testified of His presence with God the Father at the beginning of it all...

Jesus said… John 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.

Isaiah 53:5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

So, today we celebrate Christmas as Jesus is the Savior for all…  And through Him we are reconciled through His blood shed on the cross.

[ Do Not Neglect Salvation] Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, In Context | Full Chapter |

The Bible said…’This same Jesus will return’ and one will ask… when? And we can only say that ‘Time’ is a dimension and God is the creator of it all;  the Bible said… 1 Corinthians 15:52

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Lord Jesus thank you for coming 2,020 Years ago, to be our Redeemer, Father we thank you in Jesus our Lord and Savior.  Lord as we pause today to recognize today as the day of You coming onto this world to save us, Lord we are in Awe of Your Unconditional love for us. Lord we stand before the empty cross knowing that You have ascended to the Father and sits on the Throne of Righteous and You are our Mediator. Lord, we thank You and we affirm our Faith in You our Living Eternal God. Lord Jesus bless our visitors as we are privileged to serve You Lord and let this mission be for Your Glory Lord as we are just a vessel bearing Your Good News. Lord take this day and make is a day of remembrance of Your coming to Divinely save us. Lord we Pray in Your Matchless Name Lord Jesus, and to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday December 24, 2020

Did you get the Message?  It is Christ for ALL… Great Joy for all people… Christ-Mas

Luke 2:10New International Version (NIV)

10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

We keep repeating this message of Christ for the Masses… Just as   the angel declared the “Good News of Great Joy for all people” made possible by the Birth of the Savior…Jesus

John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

We are given the power of God and wisdom of God… Let us use it today to make Him known.

but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,

I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,

[ Christ Crucified Is God’s Power and Wisdom] For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

For God, did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

The above scripture text affirmed the love of Christ and His Covenant of Grace.

Let us Praise Him and be still and know that he is God…

Conclusion:

“In Jesus’ name, we pray”

Many prayers end with an abrupt ending… ‘In Jesus name, we pray’; this is mention as if Jesus was not amid the prayer to the Father.

Coming into the presence of the Father without Jesus is like breaking protocol… why? Jesus said no one come to the Father unless through Him.

So, when we end our prayers to the Father and abruptly say…” In Jesus name, we pray” are we making an inference to Jesus who is absent? This is out of protocol as Jesus was present and you had to be speaking to Him as well as the Father, therefore we must say… To You Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy Name, and to end with a salutation, just like you would say to a friend have a great day… But Jesus is Sovereign and Eternal so ‘A Great day’ is too superficial; addressing our Lord it is more like to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come…. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Love as we adore You knowing that in You, we redeemed by Your Blood, and that the Best is Yet to Come as we can say You our Redeemer Lives. Lord we thank our Visitors and ask Your Divine blessings on us all and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Wednesday December 23, 2020:

Where to find lasting Treasures? It is not in the stores, get it now…

God gave the Best Gift of all times… He gave us His Son Jesus our Messiah…

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

The Wise men came with their treasures of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to honor the birth of our Messiah.   While they gave earthly treasure, they were honoring the Heavenly Treasure who was born to us all.  Jesus is the Heavenly Treasure…

[ Treasures in Heaven] “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.

Matthew 6: 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Let us make Jesus our Treasure so that our hearts will be with Him…

So, today as we are in heavy traffic, the rush of the shopping season and the bombardment of commercials selling less than earthy treasures, let us focus of what Jesus said:

Matthew 6: Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

The Supremacy of Jesus…

John 1 New International Version (NIV)

The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Colossians 1:15-16 New International Version (NIV)

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. New International Version (NIV)

Buddha and Mohammed were spiritual leaders, but they did not have a Triumphant Resurrection, they are in man-made boxes. Just like the idols they had to be nailed down so they do not topple over. Worshippers of idol had to ‘carry’ their stone gods, Jesus carries us, He is our Hero.

Come to the Lord and…

Father let my earthly baggage be replaced by the Grace of our Lord Jesus who redeemed us by His Blood, as we are sinners and can only be Redeemed by the Blood of Jesus. Lord Jesus today I thank you for replacing the baggage that I am saddled with, replaced by Your Redemption through Your Divine Sacrifice.  I thank You Lord for Your Saving Grace, in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Lord we thank You and we go in faith as we are privileged to serve You as Your Grace is sufficient… Lord bless our Visitors and grant Your Peace as we celebrate the season of Advent looking to You as the Author and Finisher of our faith as we delight in You Lord Jesus and give You the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Tuesday December 22, 2020

Focus:   We do not like to be kept waiting… So, do not keep Jesus waiting.

700 years before Christ came as the Messiah, this was written by the Prophet Isaiah…

Isaiah 53:5-6 (NKJV)

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities.

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray.

We have turned, everyone, to his own way.

And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

John 3:16-18 (NKJV)

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jesus the Lamb of God…

Romans 5:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

Jesus bore our sins…

1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV)

24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Acts 4:36 (NKJV)

36 And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus,

Romans 6:4 (NKJV)

4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Ephesians 2:1-10 (NKJV)

By Grace Through Faith

2 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Now, being enlightened by the above scriptures knowing that Jesus “Paid-It-All’ do not keep Him waiting…

And the above Scriptures provided the Truth and is God-Given, and you can be Sure…

Received Him…

Come to Christ and receive His Assurance of we can all say… looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Visit our How to be Saved page…Click here http://goodnewsforever.org/How_to_be_Saved.html

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and savior we come. Lord Jesus we thank You for the privilege of serving You Lord and we thank you for Your Divine Redemption.   Lord we Praise You and knowing that in You Lord Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and You are complete, and You are the head of all principality and power. Lord we ask Your blessings upon our Visitors as we spread Your Good News knowing that in You, we have Victory in You and are confident that You who begun a good work that we are privileged to be a vessel will complete it until that day Lord when we shall see You as You are. We Pray this in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Monday December 21, 2020:

His Grace is sufficient to save us… God does not believe in ‘Double-Jeopardy’…

Focus:   Grace is not measured by our performances.

Nothing we do will impress God until we come to Him and know that He is God and in Faith accept His Grace and Salvation.

Text: 1 Peter 4:12

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Share the Sufferings of Christ

12 Beloved do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you.

Commentary:

There are several key factors that we need to know

God does not need our money

God does not need our help

God does not need anything from us, but He wants us to…

Love Him, as Jesus said to the crowd… Mark 12: 28-31

28 One of the scribes came and heard them arguing, and recognizing that He had answered them well, asked Him, “What commandment is the foremost of all?” 29 Jesus answered,” The foremost is, ‘Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord; 30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Text:  Revelation 22: 20-21 I Am Coming Quickly

20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Matthew 6: 5-13

5 “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. 7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

John 15:13-15

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

13 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do what I command you. 15 No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.

Action/Coming to our Lord:   James 1:5

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Conclusion: The Love of God is mentioned in the Bible many times and we know that He first loved us…

1 John 4:191 John 4:18-20 (in Context) 1 John 4 (Whole Chapter)

We love because He first loved us.

Romans 8: 28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

Prayer: Father in heaven in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus today as You intercedes for us, we acknowledge Your Supremacy and Your Divine Grace. Lord we thank You for Your Word of Assurance and Your Covenant of Grace. Lord as we begin this week and look to give you first place in all things. Lord grant us Your Peace and bless our Visitors as we bring Your Good News of Your Salvation to many for Your Glory. Lord be with us all as we seek You and a closer walk with You Lord. To You be the Power and the Glory in Your name we pray and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Why was Herod concerned about the Birth of the New King?

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Sunday December 20,2020

Why was Herod concerned about the Birth of the New King?

Herod known as ‘The Great’ was not so great after all.

He feared the Birth of Jesus the Messiah…

When a group of wise men (or scholars) came to Jerusalem shortly after Jesus was born, they asked one question: Where could they find the newly-born king of the Jews? They added, “We have seen His star in the east and have come to worship him” (Matthew 2:2, NKJV). When word of this reached King Herod, he sent for them and urged them to find the child, so he could worship him, too.

But Herod was lying. His real goal was to destroy the child, fearing (illogically) that in time Jesus would take over his throne. God warned the wise men of Herod’s plot in a dream, and after Herod realized they had evaded him, he ordered the death of every child in Bethlehem below the age of two.

What did Jesus say about Herod? Jesus called him ‘the Fox’

Luke 13:32

He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’

Commentary: Herod known to have killed several family members, and even today… we have politicians doing the same thing. Lying, cheating, and denying the truth even after the truth  exposed their wrongdoing. We are not to worry about them getting away with their wrongdoing, but as we see how Herod died…

More than 2,000 years after Herod the Great succumbed at age 69, doctors have now settled on exactly what killed the king of ancient Judea: chronic kidney disease complicated by an extremely uncomfortable case of maggot-infested gangrene of the genitals. How painful this could have been.

Here we read of a King that was of a different attitude, a direct opposite to what Herod represented… Hebrews 7 Melchizedek the Priest

This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. First, the name Melchizedek means “king of righteousness”; then also, “king of Salem” means “king of peace.” Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever.

What is amazing the Bible said Melchizedek had no end of life.

Our God is Super-Natural and there is no one higher than Him. No one is above the Law of the land, but more than this, no once can mock the Lord.

Galatians 6:7

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

As we approach the Day of Advent, let us make this Christmas a day of spreading the JOY and declare Jesus as our Redeemer, and tell the world that Our Redeemer Lives!

Heavenly Father is has been 2,020 years when Jesus our Redeemer came, and Lord Jesus we see the fulfillment of the prophecy of Your return, as Job said…  “I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth”. Lord we too know this and in You we have victory. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Peace. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Saturday December 19,2020

How prepared are you? The Tree is up, the presents are wrapped, and what else? Remember it is all about Jesus. The story of the little girl and why is Jesus a part of the Christmas parade?

Merry Christmas… Today as we celebrate the birth of the Messiah… The angels brought the Good News:

Unto you is born this day in the city of David…

Keep remembering the Privileges God gave us.  Stand-up and tell it to others….

Text: Philippians 4: 4-9 (NKJV)

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The story of the little girl watching a Christmas parade, it was such an array of lights and music, she said…”What a beautiful parade, and they have to bring Jesus into it’? It is sad that she had no idea of the real meaning of Christmas.  If only she knew the meaning of Christmas, then the appreciation of Who Jesus is would have made a lasting impact.

The impact of Jesus’ Birth, His Life and His Divine ascension gave this world Hope through His Redemption.  The Divine Super-Natural event of a Virgin Birth, a Resurrection from death, these events never to be repeated still amaze us. So, in Awe, we pause and know that Jesus is God in One of the Holy Trinity.

Today as many congregations gather to worship the Lord… let us come let every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Remember that the love of God that radiates to us this Christmas Day should be shared with many and to Imitate Christ’s Humility… and do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Good News -His Faithfulness:  Come to Christ today, acknowledge Him as His Word stated…

Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’ In Context | Full Chapter |

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Lord and savior we come.  Lord as we gather, we are assured that You Lord Jesus is in our midst and You are our Mediator to the Father.  Lord we thank You for Your Divine Grace and we thank you Lord for the privilege of serving You and for our many Visitors. Lord bless each of our Visitors as we Praise You and give You the Glory, we thank You Lord that whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Friday December 18,2020

The most celebrated season of the year… called Yuletide, Happy Holidays, etc., but the event is The Birth of our Savior, Jesus the Messiah.

This is supposed to be the most Joyful time of the year… It is the Season that we Christians must stand and spread the Joy, while many may be pre-occupied with the daily challenges, the Covid-19, their financial needs, we must let the Good News overwhelm these challenges, as In Christ all things are possible.

This a personal experience that is noteworthy… Checking out a few last-minute items for Thanksgiving, there was a lady with a large cart of groceries, so I asked why people wait till the last minute to shop for their thanksgiving ?, the clerk said… Some people do not have the money until they receive their paycheck, and this is why they are here a few hours before the store closes.

The way the senior clerk explained it with compassion, this was a heartfelt moment for me and a reality check for my arrogance.  Sometimes the Lord humbles each of us, and as said… How do you walk in someone else's shoes?

The admonition to walk a mile in someone else's shoes means before judging someone, you must understand his experiences, challenges, thought processes, etc. The full idiom is: Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. In effect, it is a reminder to practice empathy.

Today, as we look to ChristMAS let us remember those in needs, as we wrote about the little boy when asked by Santa, what would he like for Christmas, he said, I want a job for my day as we are in need.  Here we have a little boy that placed his parents first ahead of the usual requests for toys.

So, today, let us spread the Word…

Philippians 4:19

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 6  New International Version

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Action / Coming to our Lord:

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Principle:       Our Lord is always on Time and never behind, He Leads, and we follow.

Prayer:           Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer, Lord Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God, as we end this week Lord, let each new day be a day of Grace, and let Your Blessings flow to us and to each other that we interact with. Lord we place You on High, and we stand at the empty Cross knowing that You ascended to the Throne of Righteousness, and we are privileged to come as You intercedes for us. Lord, we pray for our Nation and we ask that Your will be done and bring us to You so that You may heal our land, we pray for our Visitors and Your providence upon us all. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Approaching the day of advent… Christ for the Masses = CHRISTMAS…

As we draw near to Christmas the season of Advent… This is all about the Miracle of Christ, and Christ for the Masses as he came to redeem the masses. Therefore, CHRIST- ‘MAS’ represents the Visit of Christ the Messiah and the coming return of Christ the Redeemer and the Judge…

Preparing for Christ- ‘mas’

The season of Advent is represented by the four Sundays preceding Christmas Eve.

The Season of Advent declares the Birth of Christ… Emanuel, GOD with US.

During His 33 years, He did many things that are still mind-baffling, He also made an astounding claim… He said, “I Am not of this world”.  He even claimed that before Abraham was, He was…

John 8:58  “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” In Context | Full Chapter |

He declared that He was at the day of Creation with God the Father…

John 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. In Context

Jesus in no new kid on the block… He was declared on the first day, when God said…

Genesis 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. In Context | Full Chapter |

John 8: 58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” In Context | Full Chapter |

John 1:1-3 New International Version (NIV)

The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

And Jesus is Sovereign… Colossians 1:16

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. In Context | Full Chapter

What a privilege our Lord Jesus has given us all…  Keep looking up, as the Bible said:  This same Jesus will return. Acts 1:11

“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

News Break… On December 23, look in the southern sky and see the ‘Christmas Star” this has not been seen for the last 800 years, it will be seen from all parts of the world. Just like when Christ returns, He will be seen from all parts of the world.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come, we Praise You and we thank You Lord Jesus for coming 2020 years ago, so that we can have Your Divine Redemption. Lord we seek Your Divine resolution to the current election impasse and thwart all foreign interferences. Lord bless Your faithful servants and grant our Visitors and us Your Peace. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus.  Amen.

Forward looking… As we draw near to Christmas let us share the Joy of Our Lord. Let us have the presence of our Lord near us … He said His angels encamp around us as we stand in His presence.

Wednesday December 16,2020

The sound of silence… He came upon a midnight clear, and it was a Silent night, and a Holy Night…

Tinnitus is quite common around the world, almost everybody's had a bout here and there. Tinnitus is a non-permanent condition, in most cases, and will ultimately subside on its own.

The phrase…

“It was like Christmas” is an idiom with a meaning similar to “kid in a candy store”. It means that some fantastic, lucky event has occurred leading to a bonanza of unbelievably awesomeness. ... Wow - It was like Christmas!” Sometimes, the phrase is rendered as “Christmas come early!”

The foregoing phrase is a non-starter as it totally ignored the real meaning of Christmas.  While Christmas is a tine of giving and receiving, it should never be associated with a celebration of an event and a windfall of a gift or some surprise as described to be awesome. Christmas being the day of our Savior’s birth.  As the shepherds declared…

Luke 2:

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God, and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

Notation regarding ‘Shepherd’

The conclusion that shepherds were societal outcasts has been reached by many scholars, and they have repeated this concept over and over again.

On the contrary, Shepherds were chosen in many instances serving God, example…

Abraham was a shepherd. Genesis 13 describes him as having much livestock, herds, and flocks of sheep. Exodus 3:1 says Moses was a shepherd: “Meanwhile, Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro.” David was a shepherd (according to 1 Samuel 17) who took care of his father’s flocks.

These three men are pillars of the Old Testament. Abraham, Moses, and David were all connected to shepherding, and all three were greatly esteemed in Jewish society.

God is also pictured as a shepherd in the Old Testament. One of the most famous verses in all of Scripture proclaims this: “The Lord is my shepherd” (Ps 23:1).

Genesis 49:24 says, “Yet his bow remained steady, and his strong arms were made agile by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, by the name of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel.” Psalm 80:1 says, “Listen, Shepherd of Israel.”

So, scholars were wrong in casting Shepherds as social outcasts.

Today we Praise God as our Shepherd, as we pray… The Lord is my shepherd, and I shall not want.

Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus thank you for coming and thank You for Your Redeeming Grace. Bless our Visitors and us all. We give You the Glory and Praise You Jesus Messiah… Amen.

Tuesday December 15,2020

Do you believe the sun will rise tomorrow? Or even a year or a thousand years from now? Thanks to Jesus for holding, it all together…remember the asteroid belt contains objects that could smash earth or even the sun.

While this is not a doomsday article, we are reflecting on what the Bible said about the above...

Revelation 8:11-12  New International Version

10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood.[a] A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

Not to worry, according to NASA and other Space Agencies, for the next 100 years, there is no known threat of a large object hitting earth that can completely wipeout civilization. But there are many ‘Near-Earth’ objects that often go undetected until just a day of two before they strike earth. Many of these can wipeout a city.  It is scary to know that of a hundred or so Near-Earth Asteroids, only five were discovered before hitting earth.

It is like visiting a Control Tower of one of the largest Airports in the world. When I saw, yellow Post-Its stickers posted all over the screen, I asked what did they represent? The answer was alarming, the controller said, they are there to mark the places of where the aircrafts are just in case the power goes out. So, in a power outage, the planes are all over the airspaces on their own.  I often fly into this mega airport, but they have never had an incident in over five or more decades.

So, let us know that we are not in charge, and God is in charge.

We wrote about the Accuracy of God’s Creation…

The Lives of each of us may be ordered by the Lord in a Beautiful Way for His Glory, if we will only Entrust Him with our Lives.

If we try to Regulate our own Lives, we will have only Mess and Failure.

Only God, who made our Brains and Hearts, can Successfully Guide them to a Profitable End.

When you carry the Bible, Satan has a Headache; when you Open it, he Collapses.

When he sees you Reading it, he loses his Strength, and when you Stand on the Word of God, Satan cannot Hurt you!

And did you also know…

that when you are about to Forward this Email to others, the Devil will probably try to Discourage you, but do it anyway.

Life without God is like an Unsharpened pencil - it has no Point.

I pray God bless you in ways you never even Dreamed.

We pray that there will be a resolution to the national election in the USA, we pray that no foreign intervention will prevail. We wish to instill in the mind of our citizens, that we are at the crossroads, of making a choice for Freedom or bondage.  We pray that the churches will open for Freedom of Worship.  We shall never conform to the ‘New-Normal’ as it is a constraint imposed on the freewill of our nation.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus bless our endeavors that this mission will continue and expanded, just as how Jabez prayed for his horizon to be expanded, Lord do this and bless our Visitors and us all. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus… Amen.

Justification and sanctification? What does one have with the other?  It is like Love and marriage…

Marriage is a Holy Justification and sanctification? What does one have with the other?  It is like

Love and marriage…

A Sacrament sanctified by God. Sanctification means being set-apart, and in the eyes of God it is purposely Sinless. So, being Sanctified is to be made sinless. How can we be ‘Sinless’? Because as written over 700 years before Christ came 2020 years ago, the prince of prophets, Isaiah said…

Isaiah 53: 5.  But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Isaiah%2053:5&version=NIV

While the Bible said… There is none righteous, this relates to priori to being born again in Christ.

Because I. Christ we are a new creation.

2 Corinthians 6:1-2 As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

His Faithfulness:

God placed us here to enjoy the worship of him and the intimacy of his love for us
This is the big joy that he gave us so forget the short-term pitfall disguised as joy
2: God named his creation i.e., Light, the expanse Sky, and he separated the darkness from light and the water from dry land.

  • God named it all,
  • The defining focus of God is Love not power
  • God brings order
  • God commanded; us to be fruitful and multiply
  • God blesses His living beings
  • God gave us lordship over all living things and dominion over earth

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Our name was written down in the book of life
But before we were redeemed our common name was known as "sinner" but after we are saved our name is changed and entered into the lamb's book of life
God knows who we are, and he made us to be a child of His

We are part of his master plan John 1: 12

John 1:12

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,

Conclusion:

Principle God knows us by a name…. ‘Sinner’ even before we were born, but this common name was changed to “Redeemed’ and because of His Redemption by His Blood of Atonement, we are now Joint Heirs to His Kingdom. What a Privilege! as the Scriptures said…

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus grant us Your Peace and bless our Visitors and us all as we go in Faith towards this new week. Thank You Lord Jesus. In Your Holy Name we pray. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Sunday 13th December 2020

A slogan of making our church a home. First, it should be a ‘Home’ of the Holy Spirit, then a gathering place for all to experience the Spirit filled fellowship in Christ.

Sometimes Churches experience dwindling attendance, the cause would be aging members, demographic shifts. Being affluent or poor also impacts the growth and loss of attendants.  But the one main deficiency will be the lack of having a ‘Shepherd’ for the congregation.

Why is the attendance impacted by the income level?  We feel that income level should not be a factor but, it is  a prime factor for the decline as seen in Europe at large. England as the most decline.

  • We feel that the ‘Truth’ of the Gospel must be the prime factor for growth as seen in… Christianity is reportedly the fastest growing religion in Iran with an average annual rate of 5.2%.[123] A 2015 study estimates between 100,000 and 500,000 believers Christians from a Muslim background living in Iran, most of them evangelical Christians.

Many of the large cathedrals are sparsely used with no events that promote expansion. In fact, some are operating like private clubs. A church in my neighborhood is administered by a lady pastor that openly states that she is a member of  the “Rainbow” family and her congregation is in conformity to the lifestyle of what the Rainbow family represents.

So, as extreme Islam is the national religion of Iran, let us pray for the brave Believers… Iran considered the fastest growing Christian community,  Christianity in China is  also among the fastest growing sector.  So, there’s’ hope as in Israel this is also a trend.  Our Messiah is being made known as this is the great commission. To know Christ and to make Him Known…

So, right at home here, let us make Him Known, and also let us make His gift of Grace and Power to each of us be known. As He has given us a sound mind with Power in Him.

Let us not be afraid of presenting our Lord as He Jesus holds all things together.

Colossians 1:17

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Colossians 1: 15-20

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Praise Him… Jesus the King of kings and Lord of lords. And in the Holy Trinity One with the Father.

Prayer: Heavenly father, in Jesus our Lord and savior we come. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Divine Grace and by Your Redemption as in You all things were created. Lord bless our Visitors and us all as we go in Faith knowing that all things work together for Good. Lord we give you first place and in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus we pray. Amen.

Saturday 12th December 2020

The presence of the Holy Spirit came to Cornelius’ house, is your house open to receive it too? Unless the church is Spirit filled it is an empty building.

Do this…  Seize the Day and make it a good-day… know that you are set-apart, and come what may you are safe…

Focus:     He is coming again, He told us of the events leading to His return, are we there yet? The day of The Lord is promised, and He will fulfill it.

: The ‘Right-Place’ and the ‘Right-Time’. Now is the best time ever, seize the Moment, seize the Day

Focus: Time is a dimension; the universe is timeless? How about the 4th dimension, God knows, we are just mere humans.

TEXT: Colossians 1: 15-18 15   (NKJV) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Devotional: Because our Lord Jesus is the image of the invisible God, and He is the firstborn over all creation, and this occurred when God said let there be ‘Light’ our Lord, Yeshua, Yahweh,  Elohim, El Shaddai, Jehovah… Jesus is the Great “I AM”.  Because Jesus Himself said…” Before Abraham was, I am”

John 8:58

Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

Jesus is not the by-stander in our prayers. He is “The Mediator” our only channel to The Father, so many who pray to The Father and never mention Jesus, are they really reaching The Father?  Remember Jesus said… “No one comes to the Father unless through me”. John 14:6 [Full Chapter] Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Jesus is not our ‘Buddy’ He is the Supreme-Sovereign God in One of The Father, yet He said…. I am your friend… John 15:15

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord:

So, when we gather in His Holy Name, remember Jesus is always in our Midst. Jesus said…  “Where two or more are gathered in my name, I am in the Midst” Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Good News -His Faithfulness:

When you know and trust our Lord, the Bible said…”He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” Psalm 91:11.  Only our Lord prays for us, as His angels are constantly at work to safeguard us, His angels are here to minister to us and to guide us into our Lord’s presence at our life’s journey in heaven forever.  His angels are sent to serve those who loves the Lord and those our Lord made Joint-Heirs to His Kingdom.

Because our Sovereign Eternal Savior, Jesus Christ the Son of God, who is God Incarnate in His Holy Trinity is our Mediator and is Interceding for us to His Father.  What a privilege our Lord Jesus gave us… He took us out of the trash-heap and made us into fine-linen worthy of coming into the Presence of His Father.

His Faithfulness:

Jesus the giver of Life – everlasting, remember that a ‘Free’ Gift had to be bought by the giver, and Jesus bought His Priceless Gift with His Life by dying for us, and His Payment was Redeemed by the Father as He Rose from death. His Resurrection is a Witness of what He has endowed for those in Jesus who shall also share in His Glory through His Divine Redemption.

Matthew 10:32

[Confess Christ before Men] “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess (you) before My Father who is in heaven.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come; Lord Jesus thank You for being our Mediator to the Father.  Lord it is because of Your Righteousness we are privileged to come in Your Holy Presence.  Lord thank You for Your Divine Grace as You have prepared a place for us all knowing that You have said You are not of this world… Lord as we go in faith, Lord remove the challenges and lead us all to green pastures as it is by Your Divine Providence that You gave us an abundant life and a more-abundant life to come. Lord we thank You for our Visitors to this site, bless us all Jesus Messiah, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

What have we accomplished following His great commission? Gaining the world and losing one’s soul is a total loss. Choose whom we should serve.

Jesus denied Himself so that through His Crucifixion we may have life everlasting.

What love Christ has for us; this is Amazing Grace…

We do not deserve the Best, but He has provided it.

What is the best thing that you ever received? Or rather what is the most ideal thing you would like to receive this Christmas?

Think no further… On Christmas Day 2,020 years ago, God gave us the most precious Gift, a Gift that can never be matched. And this is Jesus our Savior.

Think on this…. If you were aboard the Titanic and you went up to the lifeboat and it was full, but someone said… ‘come aboard’, and he got up and gave you his seat and left the boat, would you consider this person to be your savior? Certainly, as just after you boarded the ship sank, and you were saved.

The parallel of that person giving up his life for you to be saved, this is what Jesus did for us all.

Here is the greatest Gift…

Romans 5:6 [ Christ in Our Place] For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. In Context

One of the good gifts that we have… the freedom of worship.

So, let us set aside the political divide of the country, and for those that continue to deny Christ and to oppose the agenda of the Lord, let them be aware…

Over a century ago there was a play on Broadway…

George H. Broadhurst’s 1906 political drama, “The Man of the Hour,” a long-running Broadway hit in its day, has good bones, and the Metropolitan Playhouse does its justice in its current revival. Inspired by the historic cronyism of Tammany Hall, the story, about the temptations facing an honest politician, runs the risk of resembling a civics lecture, which the production nimbly sidesteps. The play’s lessons bear repeating, and the actors infuse them with life.

The setting is “any large city in America”; Alwyn Bennett (an upright, understated Eric Loscheider), a playboy, is installed as mayor by Alderman Richard Horigan (Kelly King) and the magnate Charles Wainwright (Bill Tatum), back-room players who take him for a malleable puppet. But Bennett has a strong motivation for taking the job: impressing Wainwright’s niece, Dallas (Kathleen Littlefield, displaying graceful backbone), who holds Bennett’s heart but dismisses him as a dilettante. The play centers on a bill about ownership rights to a streetcar franchise that could make Wainwright richer — or, he says, will bankrupt him (and cost Dallas dearly) if Bennett does not sign.

In the USA, this is the result of the ongoing political battle over Election results that the President claims there were rampant fraud. So,  the President will become ‘The Man of the Hour’ by standing firm on his demand for the auditing the election ballots and determination by the Supreme Court.

Matthew 10:26

While we enjoy the moments of this wonderful day, let us reaffirm the assurance of the Lord.

Let us pray for the country and leaders to be aware of…

Galatians 2:21

To not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” In Context | Full Chapter

Remember…  The Word of Jesus:

John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Prayer:

Thank You Lord… Lord Jesus in reverence we come knowing that in You all things are possible, and all things work for the Good, and You Lord Jesus is the Good of our lives.

Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we go in faith knowing that You have said, never will You leave us nor forsake us.  We pray in Your Holy Name and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Making the Lord the Author and Finisher of our Faith…When we do, His Power is gained to be used as He said… >>>>

God gave us a sound mind…

2 Timothy 1:7

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.

2 Timothy 1:8-10 -

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,  2 Timothy 1:8-10 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=2%20Timothy%201:8-10&version=NKJV

Avoiding the political maneuvers, foreign intrusions and the Fake-News will be the best route to take… while we should be aware of current events, we need not be absorbed into the event to the point that it causes us to worry. Worry never solve a problem, we are to seek God’s divine intervention to the issues we cannot solve. So just bring it to be Lord and stand back and see His resolution.

Today it is far better to reach out to friends and share the Joy knowing that the best is yet to come.

Revelation 1:6

and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

1 John 4

On Denying the Incarnation

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. ...

Revelation 17:14

They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

The immense Power of God…   The Return of the Lord.

Acts 1:11

“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” In Context

Give thanks to our Faithful Lord and Savior as He provides all our needs… as stated in Philippians 4:19  19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus as we reflect on You bearing the Cross, Lord as King of kings Lord we thank You for Your Divine Redemption through Your Triumphant Resurrection and we claim Victory in You lord Jesus. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all You Providence as we go in faith know that You our Redeemer Lives. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The action of the atheist movement against God’s people… why do they exist? They are there to be conquered by our faith in God, when we acknowledge His Power working though us…

Rest in the Lord – Do not Fret because of evil men

Text:   Psalm 37 (NKJV)

A Psalm of David.

37: 1 Do not fret because of evildoers,
Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
And wither as the green herb.

Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.

Commentary:

The Heritage of the Righteous and the Calamity of the Wicked. Have you ever experienced losing an asset to some individual or a company. By deception of by an outright act of larceny? If anyone reading this suffered at the hands of what the Psalmist described as ‘the worker of iniquity’. The word ‘iniquity’ is derived from a Latin origin meaning… Definition of INIQUITY; 1: gross injustice : wickedness 2 : a wicked act or thing : sin

The Bible said we are not to seek revenge and we are to ‘turn the other cheek’ and to also give them our cloak… Having been a victim of what we consider ‘Corporate-Raid’ and contract fraud, the Word of our Lord that said, ‘Vengeance is mine’ and to also let them have your cloak.

Action/Coming to our Lord:  looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith

Hebrews 12 (NIV)

12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

The New King James version says… looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The NASB version says… fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Of all three version of the Bibles, the King James is more specific as it refers to “OUR” Faith and not just Faith in General.  The Word of God from the Bible addresses the reader and not the third party in this case, therefore the NKJ in most instances relate to us personally and appears to be a closer relationship with our Lord Jesus by its reference of ‘Our’ Faith, and not Faith of others.

Conclusion:

Jesus never said we had to be a Doctor of Divinity or to be a graduate of a Seminary to understand His Word, yet there are many scholars that are making their own versions of the Bible, changing the Text, and compromising the message… an example; the Creation day we always knew to be a 6-day cycle, yet some are saying that the day was 1,000 years or not just a 24-hour timeline. The Bible said:

Genesis 1 New King James Version (NKJV)

The History of Creation

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So, the evening and the morning were the first day.

NOTE: If we were to adopt the teaching that a day is 1,000 years, then it would have taken God 6,000 Years to create Earth and the living creatures.  We say our God in His Infinite powers did it all in 6 x 24 Hours as He spoke it all into realization and he did not need the US Army Corp of Engineers, it would have taken them forever and still incomplete. So, man in our finite mind is trying to ‘be’ God or are we second-guessing the power of our Lord?

Jesus said come to Him in faith just like a little child…

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord in Faith we come knowing that You are supreme, and we give You Pre-Eminence in our lives. Lord today let Your Holy Spirit be with us and bless our visitors to this Good News Website and grant us all your Peace, In Your precious name we Pray, and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Tuesday 8th December 2020

God provided natural resources, the grains, the eggs, the minerals, water. Air & Oxygen. The equilibrium of the universe, and us humans…  Give thanks to God and Jesus our Redeemer.

When we think of the vastness of Space and the incremental achievement of what we accomplished, the Sun is 93 Million miles away and we have yet to travel a Light-Year in space.

So, what can we say about what is described in Revelation describing Heaven?

Revelation 4:1 The Throne in Heaven

After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

Our finite mind…

We may say it is Divine or it is fantasy. Since we humans have not travelled beyond the Moon, and seeing images from space through the Hubble telescope,  which is just a glimpse of what is out there. We should stop and realize we are still in the learning stage. So, as we continue to have political differences, and the attempt to control a nation and even the world.  Instead of trying to dominate, we  need to stop and think of the coming of the Lord, and the aftermath of the Rapture.

2 Peter 3:10

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

2 Peter 3:13  But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

Commentary:

When boarding an Airplane, first-class passengers are boarded first.  In Heavenly realms, the same applies.  Because there will be a rapture where those in Christ will be taken up to be with Him first. This is an event that precedes the final ‘Day of the Lord’ which will follow the ‘Rapture’ . This second period will be the time of tribulation.

Beware that there will be no ‘Coach’ passengers, all in Christ are all ‘First-Class ‘ there are no class system, there will be no Catholics, Presbyterians, Baptist, Methodist, Lutherans, or others, only one class… Born-Again just as how Jesus told Nicodemus “You must be born-again”.

So, to face the reality of what is to come, we will ask a question that pertains to right now… Who is the most important person you will meet today, who would you like to meet? Could it be a high-profile celebrity and if you do what would this do for you.  But  the day of the ‘Rapture’ could be today, or in an hour or less… so which boarding pass do we have? remember to Journey with our Lord there is only one-way, no alternate route, no compromise, only one Criterion! To be Born-Again or the answer is “I do not know you”  So,  to ‘know of’ Jesus is not enough to ‘Know Him’ and follow Him is what He said.

His instruction is very Simple… Seek Him First and His Righteousness,  Call on Him and You will be Saved.

Action/Coming to our Lord: 2 Corinthians 2:14

But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we thank You and Jesus our Redeemer, we give You Preeminence and knowing that all things work together for the good of our Visitors and us as we take delight in You Lord Jesus. We pray in  Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory forever… Amen.
