In life who or what is your ‘Comforter’? is it a bowl of Macaroni & Cheese?  well known as the comfort dish.

 

Not to spoil your comfort enjoyment, but this dish is a high caloric loaded with carbohydrate. Too much of this comfort will make you like the Michelin® Man, and even Michelin man went through a slimming-down process.

 

Seriously in life we all went through the period when we felt invincible, somewhat like the super-heroes of the action comics.  Those days may be gone, and the only comfort you could have gained by the action comics, if you had kept the No.1 Issue of Superman in a pristine condition.  And, guess what? most of us may have had a copy, and this probably ended up in the local land fill. So, take heart that there is a comforter that will never leave you nor forsake you.

Your belief in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit being the Holy Trinity is your eternal Comforter and is always present, as the Lord said…

Psalm 34:7

The key context of the passage above is ‘who fear Him’ most times we will read that ‘Fear’ is a key factor of gaining God’s care, we are in accord, but it is ‘who loves Him’  The Fear is of the Lord because His Wrath, this is to be feared, but He is to be Loved… God loves you and He proved this by sending (Coming) Jesus to redeem us.

Many of us and especially those with that ‘invincible’ feeling will say…why do I have to be redeemed, I am comfortable, I am doing well in college, I have a steady job and an advancing career and a growing family, and I am comfortable?

And for the wealthy ones that can say ‘I am rich, I am loaded and lacks nothing’… this is the worst case of false security.

All of our righteousness is as a filthy rag… and God said there’s none sinless… What? those above will be offended if they are called ‘Sinners’. But their names are all in the Bible, and they may ask, show me my name… It’s right there ‘Sinner’ this is our common name, not your family name of Smith, Gold, silver or any other ethnic surnames. You are known as ‘Sinner’.

So, having that smug feeling that you do not need to be redeemed, and denying that you do not need God’s help, just wait a few months or a few years, or even hours.

The rich will say…

Luke 12:18

“Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain.  19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.

God is not saying you cannot be materially rich, He is saying not to ‘store up things for ourselves, but the riches are from Him and to be directed towards Him for His Glory helping others.

Hopefully your answer is Yes…

Today, let us look at the gifts from the Lord, because what we will look at, none are made by human’s hand…

  • The Beautiful Sunrise…
  • The Birds Chirping and singing…
  • The shrubbery and blooming flowers…
  • The sound of water flowing…

Step out unto the street, what will you see? (these are made by human hands)

  • Traffic jams
  • The odor of automobile fumes
  • The noise and pollution.

What is life? It is a vapor, use it well…

God breathed life into each of use, and He also gave us His Holy Spirit, as He did send us His Comforter.

God gave us ‘Free-Will’ and we are to use it well.

Use our Free-Will for Good, because he is the ‘Good’ just as He declared us ‘Good’ when He created us all as His prized possessions.

God is Merciful and through His Son Jesus who is God Incarnate will save you when you come to Him, just as how He saved Jonah, but Jonah was running from the assignment that The Lord gave him which he abandoned, but The Lord’s will must be carried out, so Jonah was found, re-directed and he fulfilled the mission of The Lord.

Let us analyze why Jonah disobeyed God… For one; Jonah was a Hebrew and he was quite comfortable around his peers, so being directed to a foreign land Jonah first instinct was to hide. Secondly; God was sending him to a nation that was non-Jewish, and thirdly Nineveh had a reputation of ungodliness.

God never fails, He chose Jonah, and Jonah made an attempt to disappoint the Lord, but God never gives up. So when we are faced with adversities, remember it is the will of God to give us an abundant life.  So when we have adversities are we acting like Jonah, running from God?  You can run but you can’t hide.  God is Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent.

A Footnote to Nineveh in Jonah’s time and the recent destruction of the Temple in Nineveh… We see that God went to great length to save Nineveh by the event of Jonah… so when the Text said ‘For God so loved the ‘World’, the World is like Nineveh in our present time where the land is overrun by radicals and Historical relics are being destroyed.

The Fact is God so loved US (Not the World, or the land of Nineveh) Because Jesus came to save sinners, not the physical world, and we must remember that Jesus said…”I am not of this world”, and we know that on the ‘Day of The Lord’ all in Christ will be taken away and earth will be left bare.

The Judgment by God will be ‘Swift’ and so is His Divine Redemption, as said in the twinkling of an eye, we will be transformed.

1 Corinthians 15:52

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

My answer today is Yes… Because if you follow Jesus you must know who He is.  He has revealed Himself to us all.  As we look around and thank the Lord for His graciousness. For one you are here, and this is your affirmation that you are following Him.

It this is you first time visitor, then you may be seeking Him, and you have found a place that you can find Jesus. Because as you read more and gather in prayer, Jesus said, where two or more are gathered He is in our Midst.

Many members of various group, profess to be followers or knowing ‘of’ Jesus, even the infamous group that hates Jews, these members are unlearned not knowing that the first Christians were Jews, and Christ chose the Jews as His people.

Not to be judgmental, groups of hatred are more self-destructive, as their hatred that only harm themselves.  The hatefulness carried in their heart creates tension and self-aggravation causing mental stress.

Stress is known to be one of the chief cause of health issues.

The National Institute of Health stated…  the factors that influenced the susceptibility to stress are genetic vulnerability, coping style, type of personality and social support. Not all stress has negative effect. Studies have shown that short-term stress boosted the immune system, but chronic stress has a significant effect on the immune system that ultimately manifest an illness. It raises catecholamine and suppressor T cells levels, which suppress the immune system. This suppression, in turn raises the risk of viral infection. Stress also leads to the release of histamine, which can trigger severe Broncho-constriction in asthmatics. Stress increases the risk for diabetes mellitus, especially in overweight individuals, since psychological stress alters insulin needs. Stress also alters the acid concentration in the stomach, which can lead to peptic ulcers, stress ulcers or ulcerative colitis. Chronic stress can also lead to plaque buildup in the arteries (atherosclerosis), especially if combined with a high-fat diet and sedentary living. The correlation between stressful life events and psychiatric illness is stronger than the correlation with medical or physical illness. The relationship of stress with psychiatric illness is strongest in neuroses, which is followed by depression and schizophrenia. There is no scientific evidence of a direct cause-and-effect relationship between the immune system changes and the development of cancer. However, recent studies found a link between stress, tumor development and suppression of natural killer (NK) cells, which is actively involved in preventing metastasis and destroying small metastases.

Devotionals for Sunday: January 28, 2018

 

Today…    Let us thank Him, give the Father our Praise and abide in His love knowing Jesus is our Mediator and  thank Him for His eternal gift.

As we end January, the gifts received are more or less being faded into memory, some were consumed, the cakes, and goodies, and some durable gifts are put to daily uses. However, these gifts are mundane and eclipsed as newer technologies make the gift just another gadget.

The Gift of what Jesus provides is forever New… as His ‘Priceless-Gift’ is an eternal fountain of life.

As we sojourn through this world, each of us, young and older, we see nothing new, but knowing that all things are temporary. 

2 Corinthians 4:18 

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Text:                    Philippians 4. 4-9

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Look at what we must give Thanks to our Lord for:

  • Being Created in His Likeness
  • That God Loves us so much to have sent His Son Jesus
  • Jesus Came to Redeem us and He is coming again
  • To be Saved by His Grace
  • To be free from condemnation
  • To have His Word that we will be with Him in Glory
  • That we can never be lost as no one can pluck us away from Him
  • To be given an Abundant Life here and forever

Giving our Lord Preeminent in our lives. 

The Grace granted by our Lord is also a Priceless Gift because we cannot earn, buy of work our way to obtain this ‘Priceless Gift’ this is the Gift of Jesus’ Blood that He shed for our Sins. Blood is a Sacrament, and His Blood was Sacrificed for our Sins. But His Grace offering will expire and upon expiration the ‘Day of our Lord’ also known as Judgment day, it will be too late to receive His Pardon, therefore we need to have His Assurance to be covered by His Blood. You will say, how can I be sure if I accept Jesus by asking Him to redeem me? This ‘Act of Faith’ will reveal to you His Grace and as He said you will be a new creation… His Holy Spirit will come and dwell in you and guide you. Does this mean that I am no longer a sinner? No, but you are now redeemed and is ‘enlightened’ knowing that without His Redemption you are condemned, but now in Christ you are in Victory. 

Just as He told the Samaritan woman at the well “go and sin no more”. You may ask what if I commit another sin. Because we are sinners, and are vulnerable to sin, we must confess and Repent of any Sin to our Lord and ask to be forgiven, but repetitive intentional Sinning is a Mockery to our Lord, and He will not be mocked.

Coming to our Lord:

Prayer is the ‘Pillar of Faith’ and coming to our Lord many times each day will strengthen us against the temptation, and He will make a way for us to overcome the wiles of the devil. Praise our Lord Jesus for He said…”Greater is He in you that who is in this world’ meaning by His Spirit in You can do all things through Him, Christ Jesus.

Conclusion:

Lord because of Your great Salvation of Your Redemption and Your Triumphant Resurrection we can by Your Grace be in Victory in You Lord Jesus.  Lord, let us share this Good News with our Visitors as we give You the preeminence in our lives and acknowledge Your Sovereign power sitting on the Throne of Righteousness at the Right-Hand of our Father and Creator. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus as our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday:  January 27, 2018

 

A lifetime membership in God’s Kingdom is forever. Never a renewal or an increase in rates or needed upgrade.

There are numerous tips of how to get an upgrade when checking into for a flight or getting your hotel room. Why, because there are many grades of seats, rooms and accommodation.

The criterion of getting an upgrade are:

  1. ’Dress the part’ 
  2. Be polite, and;
  3. Offer to be a member of their rewards program.

While airlines and hotel chain do have their rules, the Lord Jesus did have a simpler rule and He is always ready to ‘Upgrade us’, these are Jesus’ criterion:

  1. No need to dress the part, He said come as you are.
  2. You may not be polite, and you do not have to patronize Him

You may not be polite, but you must come to Him with a contrite (Repentant) heart and you must ‘Ask’ and ‘acknowledge’ that He is able to save you, and to grant His favors upon you.

Jesus wants to empower, bless and make you prosperous, why? Because as a child of God you will be made worthy, just like the Airline, they want you to look good enough to be in first class. So, Jesus wants to let His ‘Light’ shine upon you and let you ‘glow’ to bring other to Him.

But when you have received His power, blessings and made sufficient through His Providence, once you turn away and use these for your self-serving lifestyle, then He will turn out the light.  You will still be there but in an area that His Light is not reflecting from you. So, when we are empowered, blessed and made self-sufficient, we are to walk in His Light, and to let your light shine the pathway for others to come to Him.

What a privileged position to be in?  Just think that Jesus came so that we may have a bountiful live, while he came for the one purpose of Redeeming us.

So why do we always use the theme of Redemption, because it is like going to the Cleaners and handing your claim check and redeeming your dirty laundry.

Jesus did the same as He handed His life to redeem us from the junk-pile. A Junk pile is where garbage lays to be crushed, buried or burned. So why do you and us need to be ‘Redeemed’? because we are all descendants of Adam. And as God told Adam… Genesis 2:17

“but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” In Context | Full Chapter |

You may say one thing is certain is death, so what’s the difference?  Let us get the facts, you are created in the likeness of God, will God die? Certainly not. So, knowing that God made us like Himself, He made us with a Soul, and this is the real you, not your outer body. As the Word of God said…

Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, In Context | Full Chapter 

The text above ‘after death to face judgment, then we really never ‘Die’ as we are sticking around to face God’s judgment. Therefore, be aware that there is a 2nd death, and this is where our final destination will be determined. But Jesus came, and through His Redeeming Grace he Redeemed us.

       Ending your vacation is always something we don’t like. In God’s Paradise you never have to leave.

Have you ever spent time on a vacation, with families or visiting good friends, and when leaving there is a feeling of loss with an empty feeling? Many parents suffer the ‘empty-nest’ syndrome when the kids are grown and not longer living at home.  These events will never re-occur in God’s Kingdom as it will be a place of splendor and will be our permanent Home.

Jesus said to the repentant thief on the cross… Luke 23:43

Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Some religion believe that Paradise is an intermediate place before the judgment and being sent to heaven.

was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.

Paradise is heaven as the ultimate abode of the just.

2 Corinthians 4:14

because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself. In Context | Full Chapter | 

Fact-1: If you are raised up by Jesus and present with Him, why would you be sent to an interim place awaiting judgment?

The teaching in Roman Catholic doctrine, they say purgatory is a place or state of suffering inhabited by the souls of sinners who are expiating their sins before going to heaven.

The Bible said you must be Born-Again as Jesus said.  So, we are baffled by the provision of a place called Purgatory.  According to the Scriptures, there is no Rehabilitation center for the souls of those who were non-repentant.

Somehow it may be an uncomfortable feeling to run into a recent graduate of purgatory when we get to heaven, this person could have been the most violent serial-killer who is now a graduate from purgatory, that is still without the Holy Spirit indwelling in him, he just went through the rehab sequence but never knew Christ. So how could this person get to God’s Kingdom? Are they saying that Jesus lied when He said we must be Born-Again?

Therefore, we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.

2 Kings 5:

The event of Naaman who came to Elisha while he had leprosy, Elisha told him to wash in the Jordan 7 times, and Naaman was healed, Naaman offered Elisha payment and Elisha refused by saying…  “As surely as the Lord lives, whom I serve, I will not accept a thing.”  But Elisha servant ran after Naaman and requested payments, they received payment and clothing, but when the returned to Elisha, they were asked “where were you’ they lied and said they never went anywhere, but Elisha knew and revealed his knowledge of what they did, they eventual were overcame with leprosy. This was a result of accepting payment for God’s healing. 

So, don’t be led by false doctrine, and do not offer any material things in exchange for Salvation, because only from the Lord Jesus we can receive His Salvation.

Commentary:

One of the first creation… God said…” Let there be light and there was Light” but He did not yet create the Sun, there was a diffusion of Light in a Gaseous form, but God declared let there be Light and then He said it was Good…

If the Sun was not yet created what was the source of this Light?  We must first look at John 1. In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Now we see the Light that God Declared...” Let there be Light” This will be revealed as we go to chapter 9…There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

His Creation is above man’s comprehension, as many are trying to bring the evolutionist theory into the school curriculum, our take on Evolution is; if evolution was a fact, then why is the ape that is in the Zoo for almost 35-40 years still sitting in his cage? If evolution was a fact, this old guy would be out driving around in his new Mercedes-Benz.

Are we to assume that evolution is like the ‘Singing’ Frog, the story of the man excavating the foundation for a building that came across a box, he opened it and there was a Frog that started to sing like Al Jolson… so he figured he could make a lot of money by putting this Frog on stage, but each time he had a sold out theater, the frog would not sing, but right after refunding the patrons’ money, the Frog started to sing, he repeated this until he was broke, the moral of the story here, never believe in a Frog doing more than just croaking….  The same for the storyline of the evolutionists.

Today we give Jesus our Messiah the Preeminence and to Him be the Glory.

Prayer:

Father in Jesus our Savior we come, Lord Jesus our Redeemer we acknowledge today that You are not of this world and that you have prepared a place for us. Lord we thank you for Your assurance that You will return and where You are we will be with You Lord. In Faith we come and in Faith we go following Your instructions to bring the Good News to the ends of the Earth. We will be a bearer of Your Message till that day Lord, we ask Your blessing upon our Visitors today and by Your Divine Powers, bestow on us all Your Blessings and Your favors, as we follow You to Green Pastures. Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. Commentary:

Sometimes we face disappointment in life, only to learn that what we were seeking would have been a bad situation.  Sometimes we enter a business or personal relationship and then the outcome is not what we expected. Of these two scenarios, it is best to seek the guidance of our Lord in taking any steps in our lives.  Why? Because He said, He knew us even before we were born and that He knows his plan for each of us.

Just as He had plans for Adam & Eve, but they fell for the lies of the evil one. In our daily lives the same evil one is masquerading as the angel of light and we must be careful and seek our Lord’s divine guidance.

Just think if Eve had consulted the Lord before listening to the lies, what a difference this world would have been, The Garden of Eden would still be there.

Take heart, He is preparing a new Restored Eden and He said we who know Him will be where He is/.

THE GOOD NEWS... 

HE Rose triumphantly, and because HE conquered death... Romans 8:  37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

     The Grace of God is beyond our comprehension… Eyes have not seen nor can we imagine what’s ahead.

The Grace and Love of our Lord

His Sovereignty, His Majesty, His Love, His Redemption….

His Omniscient… Jesus is with us always, even to the ends of the age:  

Matthew 28:20  teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”) 

HE is Omnipotent:  From Jesus our Eternal God, we receive His Power through His Holy Spirit:

2 Peter 1:3 [Confirming One’s Calling and Election] His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

His Love:   Our Sovereign God loves us so much He sent His Son to Redeem us

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

Check on this…. What do you have that you will have when you leave earth? Only the Grace of the Lord will go with you if you know Him.

We wrote about the rich man that ordered that when he died, all his money was to be buried with him His attorney attended the funeral and asked the accountant, how much money was going to be buried, he said about a million, the attorney said, take this check and give him the cash.

Lay up Treasures in heaven… what is considered heavenly treasures?

Jesus talked about this… Matthew 10:42

And whoever in the name of a disciple gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.” In Context | Full Chapter |

God said, layup treasures in Heaven where thief cannot steal it… so what is life, 80, 90 or even a hundred years? Will your retirement funds take you to the end zone? Will your life be just as good then, or better?

Life is full of twist and turns, as we meander this earthly journey, where are we headed? In my lifetime, I met some of the most interesting people, Generals a well-known 4-Star, who was also US-Secretary of a Key government post; some on the Forbes ® list, and those that became Icon of industry, and yes, one that was on the top of the world who became a household name and died a poor fallen business star.  So why is this relevant? Fame and fortune will only be relevant on earth. In Christ we are VICTORS because of our Lord Jesus who is our God, Benefactor, and Protector and above all a Redeemer who redeemed us from death to Life-everlasting.

 

Father we thank You in Jesus our Lord and savior, be with us today as we in faith look to You seeking Your guidance, We give You our Praises, to You Lord be the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen

 

EVENING:

 

Come to our Lord Jesus and be Victorious in Him… He said…. Ask, and it will be given to you, seek, and you will find, knock, and it will be opened to you (as told by Jesus) Matthew 7: 7 NKJV.

We reflect on the topic that success is not final, and failure is not fatal. This profound statement applies to life’s challenges, but when we know the Lord and have accepted Him, in Him our Success is FINAL.

Here we see a leader that looked at logics and applied knowledge; one would guess he also listened to God and not just men.

Is our freedom challenged?  Yes; in many places, Christians are being persecuted and even killed, Thanka to our Lord that we have Freedom of Worship in many countries and many are still coming to Jesus.

Conclusion: The Holy Bible is the best-selling book of all times.  The authors are not Yale, Harvard, Princeton or Edinburgh scholars; therefore, the Holy Bible is as we addressed it…’Holy’ and inspired by God.  Moses did not write the first books of the Bible, Moses was compiling the data and chronologically putting it together.

Life-time warranty… many manufacturers’ issue lifetime warranties…

January is almost gone, and the new appliance, TV or smart phone that came with a warranty which most of us never register may not be covered in the event of a claim.  Many manufacturers’ issue lifetime warranties. Have we ever stopped to think whose lifetime are they referring to? Is it themselves the company, that most of them will be out of business in a decade. Or, is it the product, or if the manufacturers stay in business.

So many gimmicks are used in product sales, rebates, that require you to do a mail-in, but sometimes, the fine prints may require you to add the product serial number and if you did not, then they will reject it, they may be hoping that you many not repeat the mail-in, so the $20 or even more will be lost. Or sometimes, the rebate will never be received.

There is no Mail-In rebate when you receive the message of God’s Good News. And with us there are no ‘donate’ button, nor do we ever ask for any contributions. The only request we have is to be inspired and use what you have gained to help others to come to Christ… our mission here is to Know Christ and to make Him known.

As we say if anyone ever found the cure for cancer and kept it to themselves, then this is almost an evil act. So, we as believers knowing that our Lord provided the greatest cure far a greater decease, we are to share it as Jesus said so.

Our Lord made each believer a shining-light by His Holy Spirit, He sets us apart, He commissioned us to take His message to the ends of the earth.

Commentary:

As we read the reason for His coming and the Priceless Gift that He offers…

Here is what to expect, when we come and accept The Priceless Gift by acknowledging Him as our Redeemer, we are made in a new person, you say, I do not want to be any other person but myself, this is a choice, but   by coming to HIM, there will be a spiritual change that will remove the scales from our eyes and to allow us to see and receive the Blessings.

This is great news, that such a Priceless Gift is made available to everyone, but there’s also a time limit, as we are under HIS Grace, and Grace is something un-earned and can be pulled at any time. Therefore, the Lord said; ‘Today is the day of salvation’ now the bad news… if we do not accept His offer the future will be without that Life-everlasting that Jesus paid for at Calvary…

No one knows the time of our Lord’s return, only the Father, because our Lord Jesus is the ‘GREAT I AM’… as said in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17: For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 

God’s word above refers to the World, but in Verse 18, we will observe that the theme here was “Whoever”

 John 3:18: Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Because He said that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God, therefore His Redemption is a Priceless Gift, and cannot be purchased or earned.  It is also noted that the key word in the foregoing statement, was “ALL” therefore it means that no one can meet HIS Criterion of being Sinless…

Do this… Pray for wisdom, Faith and Guidance to use it when you receive it.

James 1:5

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. In Context | Full Chapter |

The text above said… God will give wisdom generously without reproach, meaning without disappointment. He is willing to grant us Wisdom inspite of our faults.  Because in granting us His Wisdom, we will eventually realize our faults and be reconciled with Him by His Grace.

What is your purpose of gaining wisdom? Is it to be a better person, a better knowledge of business, or to gain insight in His Word, to grow in your spiritual walk.  Then add, ask for His Holy Spirit to descend upon you and fill you with His Grace to let it overflow to others.

Choose the right wisdom, as there are two types of wisdom…

1 Timothy 4:1

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

Two Kinds of Wisdom

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

: What ‘Good’ intention do you intend to do today? Many good intentions are interrupted by the forces of temptations, so before ‘Falling-away’ un-sheath your two-edged sword... the Word of God.

Text:  Genesis 50: 20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

Commentary: Intent is 9/10th of the Law… this is a myth; it does not apply in a court of law, but is an idiom used in ole’ England. But ‘Intent’ is considered a ‘Motive’ when linked to possession, such as being caught with illicit drugs with’ intent’ to distribute; this creates a double offense.  As today as we consider our ‘Intent’ what’s on our mind?

Good intention for self-gain may not be so good at all… in our practice we have applied the precept that “if it’s too good for us, then it can’t be good for the other party’.  in life we have many Pros & Cons of structuring a transaction. No good deed go un-punished is another myth; Equity is an equation that makes the balance in striking a fair deal. In our ‘Real-Life’ Jesus made himself an ‘In-Equitable’ outcome as He took all the in-justice from us.

              Earthly body verse Celestial body… In the twinkle of an eye we shall all be transformed.

 

God gave us the freedom of choice, but are we mature enough and strong enough to resist the temptations and make the right choices?

Commentary: Consider that our Creator created man and woman and gave us dominion over all living things. Consider the enormity of Plant Life, Animals, and all species of Aquatic life, Birds and even to the smallest ant. And as we speak about Ants, this specie that builds their little kingdom with the hierarchy of a Queen and an army of workers. The same applies to the Bees that form colonies and is governed by a form of hierarchy, The Bees also has ‘Drone’ these are the male Bees that mate with new Queen. They serve one single purpose of carrying on the specie.  Bees die after they string, and the Male Drone dies immediately after they mate with the new Queen, they mate in the air and right after consummation, they fall to the ground.  Not only do they die after consummating, after they have performed their duties, they are kicked out of the hive and not allowed back in.

Look at how God loves us, He gave us dominion over all living things, He gave us freedom, but we squandered the Paradise that he made for us, so as Adam & Eve were ‘evicted from Eden’ we are here today having to be employed or to employ and generate an income to meet our needs.

We do not choose our historical epoch, the country of our birth, or the immediate circumstances of our upbringing. We do not, most of us, choose to die; nor do we choose the time and conditions of our death. But within this realm of choicelessness, we do choose how we live. – unknown

Conclusion: We have been saying the Bible is all about Jesus, from day one to the end, Why? No one has ever seen God, Abraham and Jacob said they saw God, God is represented by His Son Yeshua-Jesus, so wherever there is a reference to God being present, this is a reference to Jesus.  The Father (God) sent His Son Jesus, who became God Incarnate and the scriptures state that Jesus is Supreme, and all things were made by Him (Jesus) and with Jesus there was nothing made, and He Jesus holds all things together.

This same Jesus who came and died for us, and Redeemed us by his Blood, we spoke about the Blood of the Passover, and Jesus came as our Passover Lamb to save us from eternal damnation, why, because we were created in His likeness and He will never die, and so will we. But it is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgment. Therefore, if we will be around for the judgment then we really never died.

To come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we bring Your Good News of Salvation to many, we seek Your blessings on our Visitors and Lord remove the scales from our eyes, and lead us to Green Pastures and Your Still Water of Life. Know this… We shall see Jesus as He is… Don’t be surprised, because the disciples saw Him, as He is

(transfiguration moment) His face shone like the sun.

Today, we brought forward a little bit of yesterday’s commentary…

Mary did not recognize the Lord because He was as He ‘IS” and we all shall see Him on that day as He is, as said…

Matthew 17:2

And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light.

Earth is estimated to be 4.5 Billion years old. The theories of how earth was formed, delineated the ‘Creator’ and the stories by the scientists go along similar formation theories as depicted in the bible. 

Scientists do claim that earth was formless, a gaseous state, a major collision and the planet and the moon were formed.

Scientists are still in their primate state of mind, as the estimated date of earth is subject to an error of 50 hundred million years. While humans were living in caves, God made spiders with a habitat with a trap-door. So, spiders had a home with some technology while we were huddling in caves hiding from tigers and lions.

The reason to reflect on earth’s chronology is to punctuate that Jesus/Yeshua was at the beginning of it all.

So, Jesus who came 2,018 years ago was already here 4.5 billion years ago. So, this brings us to ‘Time’… what is time?

Physicists In the sciences generally say… Time is usually defined by its measurement, and it is just a flow of event, because, as you read this article, the time spent will pass into the past and as we forge ahead we are entering the future by the moments ahead.

I would prefer to compare ourselves to the worker ants travelling in a line just moving along, they have no watches, they probably do not have a schedule, they do not stop for lunch breaks, they just move along.

In some way we are all doing the same, as we sojourn this earth living day by day.

Just imagine that God created it all as He said…” Let there be Light” and Yeshua appeared… But, beyond our comprehension, Eden was created a place of comfort, tranquility and endowed with all what humanity needed for an abundant life.  So as our fore-parent squandered it all, and God evicted them, then the journey began to this day.

  • Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

  We can faithfully accept the above statement as the Word of God is true and the Sovereignty of our Lord far exceeds what we see or ever imagined. He said, "Eyes have not seen, nor can we image the beauty of His Kingdom”

Coming to our Lord:  Are you ready to be named as a ‘Joint-Heir’ a co-owner of His Kingdom?

Let’s us receive His ‘Priceless-Gift’ right now you can be named in the Lamb’s book of life… This is the book that will be opened as described in Revelation 21:27

The Vision of Divine Glory… The LORD!

We said this before on Christ’s return He will not be riding on a donkey, He will be coming in majesty, power and Glory. He gave us a glimpse of His power as He ascended to the heavens.

11 They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”

No one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven: The Son of Man… Jesus

In certain regions of the country, church service will start on time, but in some cities, a 9 AM Church service will start with less than 20% of the congregation presence, by 9:30 AM the assembly will start to fill out.  What if the Pastor announced that ‘Next-Sunday we will be having the president of the United States here at 9:AM, guess what? there would be a line starting at probable 7 AM to be introduced to the President.

Next Sunday, there is someone more prominent and more important that the President of the USA at church.  He is always there, Jesus said… where two or more are gathered he is in our Midst.  So, don’t keep the Lord waiting, He is not there to just grant favors, he is there to hear our Praises, our thanksgiving, and to share His Salvation, and He is there to assure us of His Faithfulness and His Divine Grace will be bestowed upon us.

Oh yes… remember the offering that you give, it is not that He needs it, It is from our heart that we give, because He gave us His providence, and giving is bringing the ‘first-fruit’ to His Mission.

Upon His return the Restored Eden will be…

Would you do this? Wash the feet of someone wearing sandals that walked 5 miles on dusty roads?

Certainly not would be the response from many.  And this is a not too pleasant task, but the King of all kings did this. Jesus not only washed once but 12 times.

John 13:12

Your attitude must be like my own, for I, the Messiah,* did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give my life as a ransom for many.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary:

Just think that the Messiah washed the feet of His disciples…. This is an action taken by the Lord to show us that we are no more better than any other, and we do not rise above anyone.  Jesus the ‘Christ’ who was anointed above all, as God incarnate showed us how to be humble and have brotherhood among humanity.

We shall all gather on that day and all mankind will be ‘One’ there will be no ethnicity represented in His presence. Because as Jesus said in the twinkling of an eye we shall all be transformed to a heavenly body, as celestial beings.

1 Corinthians 15:52 It will all happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For there will be a trumpet blast from the sky, and all the Christians who have died will suddenly become alive, with new bodies that will never, never die; and then we who are still alive shall suddenly have new bodies too. In Context | Full Chapter 

During the course of this week we will be focused on… When we see Jesus.

Come to the Lord Jesus today, just as you are, He said Ask, Seek & Knock, and He will open. Be assured today (Right-Now) that you can be saved by His Grace, just pray… Lord Jesus have mercy on me a sinner, I come and repent of my sins and I accept You in Faith that You died for me and by Your Resurrection to Life-everlasting, I can be among Your redeemed, as You said Lord.  I accept Your Salvation this day and seek to follow You. Lord You said come and You will give me rest, and that You will never leave me nor forsake me, Lord I thank You and give You my Praise. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, I pray… Amen.

Know this… Trust must be ‘earned’ but with God, He made a reason why we can Trust Him, in

exchange He gave us access to His Kingdom.

Trust is among the most over-used word in banking and Government securities…

‘In God we Trust’ is the Faceplate Slogan of the dollar bills, sometimes you wonder; is this statement a mockery when you look at the line-up of the government officials? 

Dating back to 1776 Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson to name a few prominent back then, through to 2017 the list is too long to publish here.  While these are individuals, the country at large under the banner of ‘In God we trust’ comprised of the members of the Statehouses and the Executive branch, over the years have made headlines in various misconduct scandals.

Just like when Jesus said to the accusers of the woman caught in the act of adultery…

John 8:3

Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst,

Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.

So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”

11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

The scribes and Pharisees did this to trap Jesus…

Jesus knew their plot, so, He turned the table on them, as they themselves were equally as guilty as the woman. But the woman repented in her heart and Jesus knew this and forgave her.

So, there’s nothing new when it comes to sexual misconduct, it is as old as time, but we are told to refrain from this...

Ephesians 5:33

Nevertheless, let each one of you so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. In Context | Full Chapter

When you have had great deliverances out of troubles and turmoil, remember to say…, "I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." Father in Jesus we come. Lord today we acknowledge You our Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Father in His Holy Trinity. Lord we thank You for Your Grace, and as You told Paul that Your Grace is sufficient, and it is all we need Lord. We thank You Lord Jesus, as we ask Your Blessing on our Visitors and us all.  Grant to all seeking refuge in You as You said come unto to You. Lord grant us all Your Favors as we ask, Seek and Give Thanks in Faith, knowing that all things are possible through You for those that loves You Lord. Get this… The key to be successful, Jesus gave us the ‘key’ and you can find it here…

Text: Philippians 4: 12-13   12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Commentary: The human mind fueled by our instinct to conquer and pursue excellence is an in-born trait controlled by our natural instinct. 

If we had one wish, what would you wish for? Each of us has a different wish list…For the average teen the wish would be to own the most awesome car and grow up to be an Internet tycoon. I read about a little girl that came to Santa, and Santa said ‘Little girl what would you like for Christmas? The shy little girl said I would like my mom to get well. Each of our priority is different; a little boy when asked by Santa what he wanted for Christmas, this 7-year-old said, I wish that my Dad will find a job, as we are in need. 

Life is a challenge for many including the conscientious children in our society.  Today many in our nation are being pushed to the brink… To these hard-pressed the ‘Grass is greener’ everywhere other than where they are.  Our Lord made us with His design of us being in a Garden of plenty, but the sin of Adam and Eve changed all this, can be blame Adam for the hardship of these kids? Yes and no; we who are favored should reach out to the needy, and if not, then we are the one to be blamed.

17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?

Let us start the day knowing the following:

  • Jesus is Lord and before Abraham was Jesus was there from the beginning of it all
  • The Bible said…We are a chosen people, a royal priesthood
  • And we are God’s special possession.
  • We are to rejoice in Him
  • We are to Thank Him and present our request to Him
  • His Peace will transcend all understanding and He will guard our hearts and minds in Him Jesus our Lord.
  • Praise Him for we have Victory in Jesus our Redeemer Lives.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, and we boldly acknowledge that in you Lord Jesus we have Victory and are made Joint-Heirs with you Lord.  Lord we thank You for the privilege of coming into Your Holy Presence. Lord we are in Awe that You the Incarnate God of the Father and You Lord Jesus created it all and without You there was nothing made. Lord to think that You in Majesty came to die for us and through your Divine Sacrifice we are washed in Your Blood of Atonement. Lord we thank You and accept Your Great Salvation and we bring this Good News to many. Lord thank You for our Visitors and bless each one and grant Your Peace Lord. Devotionals for Friday:  January 12, 20-18

 

Try… Finding a Needle in a Hay stack, yes you can, and so is finding your way in this life and beyond.

You may find a needle in a haystack by using a large magnet, but coming with the needle will be a lot of other metal particles.

I have a small tray of sand with a powerful magnet that will separate the Iron from the sand.  Prior to the discovery of Iron Ore, the only metal on earth were from the remnants of meteorites from space. Primitive man turned these into early tools. 

Our Lord provided a way for us to find our way in this life and beyond…  Let us revisit the ‘Secret’ that our Lord spoke regarding this.  It is not hidden but it is so easy and direct to the point, yet many do not comprehend Jesus’ statement.

What He was saying…

Matthew 6:33-34 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom(A) and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.(B) 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Let’s break this down…

  1. ‘First’ Seek His Kingdom
  2. His Righteousness
  3. All things will be given to you.
  4. The ‘Key’ is ‘AS WELL”

'As well' means,,.  unless you ‘First’ do 1&2 then 3 & 4 will not occur.

So today we all have Jesus’ teaching revealing His ‘Secret’ to fining our way here today and beyond.

The next key of His teaching is to…’Do not worry’ because if we do this is the first phase of all illness, as stress play the most vital role in breaking down our health. State-of-mind is a major factor.

Science has proven that Stress is a danger to our health…

Stress exacerbate just about any health condition you can think of." Studies have found many health problems related to stress. Stress seems to worsen or increase the risk of conditions like obesity, heart disease, Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, depression, gastrointestinal problems, and asthma, pre-mature aging, and death.

Jesus gave us the ‘Key’ to an abundant life, as He said…

John 10:10

Thought for today…

What is Christianity? Is it a religion? Is it a form of a doctrine? Or is it a customary form of worship?

              Answer: none of the above. Surprised? Yes and no… Jesus said, “You must be born again”.

              To be a ‘Christian’ one must Know Christ…

To know Him is to love Him, and to come and confess our sin, as He said…

The Entire Bible is all about Jesus, from the Garden of Eden, (He walked with Adam) with Abraham, Jesus visited him before Sodom was destroyed, with Jacob, Jesus wrested with Jacob, and Jacob prayed and was transformed and re-named Israel, all through the Old Testament the presence of Jesus and the Prophecy is all about The Lamb of God… 

Principle: 1 Timothy 2:5-6 (NIV) 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Hebrews 4:15-16 (NIV)

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Prayer:

Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus in awe we come knowing that all things were created by You as The Father Spoke and You acted in His Holy Spirit. Lord today we come seeking Your Divine Blessings and Your guidance, we place all things in Your Hands and look to You knowing that all things are possible for those who love and trust in You Lord. Devotionals for Thursday: January 11, 2018       

Are we doing a ’Trade-up’ or a ‘Trade-down’, many do ‘Trade-out’ as they are missing the key.

What is the ‘Key’? Many come to the Lord with a ‘long-list’ of prayer items, their request is made as if the Lord is the secretary taking notes, and these requests are like making out a work order.

The Bible said… The Lord knows what we have need of even before we think of it…

Yesterday we spoke of the dog trading his bone for an imaginary bone reflected in the water.  Many of us do this regularly.  So, if you already have a bone give thanks and enjoy it, this is what this dog should have done.

The Prayer of Jabez a well-known prayer… It’s so short that you must read carefully to comprehend it.

1 Chronicles 4:10

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request. In Context | Full Chapter |

So knowing that God’s hand be upon us,  we need to just Praise Him and Thank Him, and stop asking beyond the point of being repetitious, as He said… Matthew 6:7

And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. In Context | Full Chapter 

Recognizing that our Lord is Omniscient…   having infinite awareness, understanding, and insight.

Yes, Jesus is Sovereign and let’s address Him knowing that He is God in One of the Father. 

No one has ever seen God, except Jesus, who is God Incarnate, and His sovereignty is paramount above all.

The Lord loves us so much that He came to redeem us… why did we have to be redeemed? Because we are all sinners…

John 9:31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.

Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

So, bring everything to the Lord, but knowing that He doesn’t need our instruction, He just want you to know that your request must be made because it is an acknowledgement by you that He is able, and He is Faithful and Just to grant us our request in His Name.

So, asking must be done in His Name and in Faith we must trust that He will grant it according to His Grace.

Coming to our Lord:

To know Christ… Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer… Heavenly Father through Jesus our Lord and Mediator we come.  Lord Jesus thank You for allowing us to be in your presence. Lord we thank You for Your Grace and we affirm that Your Omniscient transcends our finite minds. Lord because of your Infinite Powers we have victory. Lord as we ask for Your Providence, and Your Blessing upon our Visitors and us all, we thank you in your Holy Name Lord Jesus. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday: January 10,2018

‘No Free-Lunch’ Yet it’s there, provided by the Lord. Just ask and you will receive and it’s free.

Not just lunch, but much more… All your needs are provided. But some of us may say why am I having difficulties?

We wrote about the dog that looked at his reflection in the pond, and saw a bigger bone, so he grabbed for the ‘large-bone’ only to lose the bone he had.  He was a dog running home to enjoy what the butcher gave him, but he was too greedy, so he wanted more.  More turned out to be much less, it turned into a total loss.

In life we sometimes do the same. We all have the experience of making the wrong decisions. Today, let’ choose the right one and see the power and glory of the Lord.

Today we have the assurance of the faithfulness of our Lord… “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”.  Philippians 15: 5

Because God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life… John 3: 16

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

You are complete in Christ, knowing that Jesus is the precious Pearl that Bible revealed…

Matthew 13:46 New King James Version (NKJV)

46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

Considering that around the time when Jesus made this statement which could be in the year 0030, making this 1,988 years ago, the Oysters producing Pearls would be gigantic.  This probably placed Pearls in a valuable category; thus, Jesus used this in His parable.

Today Gold is considered more precious than Pearls, back then when Jesus used Pearl as an analogy we should remember that Gold was used extensively in embellishing Building such as Temples, this being one of the reason why the Roman empire destroyed the temple to get the Gold around 70 AD. 

To today above all these earthly materialistic possessions, the Life that you have under the Grace of our Lord Jesus is your most valuable possession.

Jesus makes us complete:  We are saved by Grace... Ephesians 2:8-9

Good News Translation (GNT)

8-9 For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it

Doctrine is a set of rules, and practicing doctrine is almost bordering on Superstition.  Superstition is often dismissed as ‘Old Wives’ tale’ yet in the human trait.

Doctrine could be construed as living under the Law and not governed by the Grace of our Lord.  There is a fine line here… Some living by doctrine thinks that their quest to be righteous is paramount that will assure them of salvation.  

Galatians 2:21 Good News Translation (GNT)

21 I refuse to reject the grace of God. But if a person is put right with God through the Law, it means that Christ died for nothing!

  1. All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God…
  2. We cannot say we are without sin
  3. If we do, we make a liar of our Lord Jesus
  4. We cannot earn our way to His Kingdom
  5. No one comes to the Father unless through Jesus
  6. We are saved by Grace and not of anything we do

If we could live by the law and be holy, then Christ died In-Vain.

Accept His Invitation today; come to our Lord as He is willing to accept you just as you are…

Pray:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and through You Lord Jesus we can be Redeemed as we come with a contrite heart seeking Your Forgiveness, Lord we thank You for Your Saving Grace and the many Visitors that we are privileged to serve for Your Glory. Beware of… Trust Me: an overused line used in most deceptive practices.  You can only Trust Jesus.

Jesus did not use ‘Trust; rather He did say ‘Believe’

Trust appears in the following passages:

Proverbs 3:5  

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

Proverbs 16:20

He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.

Proverbs 22:19

So that your trust may be in the Lord; I have instructed you today, even you. 

Proverbs 28:25

He who is of a proud heart stirs up strife, But he who trusts in the Lord will be prospered.

Jesus used ‘Believe’ in His statements…

Matthew 18:6

Jesus Warns of Offenses] “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Mark 5:36

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”  

Mark 9:23

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Jesus’ profound statement of ‘Believe’ to many this is a mystery as Jesus said…

Mark 11:24

Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

The equation of ‘Ask” + In His Name + Faith & Believe = God’s positive response of His Providence (in reality)

Have you ever ‘Ask’ and did you do it in His Name?  Did you believe Him? If you did, your request(s) was heard, but sometimes your request may not be granted, because you asked for a selfish reason…

James 4:3

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. In Context |

Commentary:

Our Lord Jesus is full of compassion, in fact as we read of Jesus’ association with His Disciples, He expressed more than brotherly love for them… He was their leader, their protector, their mentor and above all their Savior.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Our God is a God of Second Chance… He is there with open arms to welcome us home, provided we come in Faith and trust in Him.   Faith is a total belief in something that is unseen, and His Grace will be given to us when we come to Him. Grace is something that is totally un-deserved, and it is a divine gift from our Lord. We can get a ‘Grace period’ of 10 days when our phone bill is due, but you must ask for it. Our Lord Paid for our Sins and by His Blood of Atonement we have His Redemption.  Come to Him and declare Victory in Christ today…

Prayer: Father in Jesus we come knowing that You our Lord Jesus rose triumphantly, and You sits on the Throne of Righteousness and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved. Your Divine Grace and Your Eminence and Sovereignty were revealed over 700 Years before You came to Redeem us. Lord we acknowledge that You were there at the beginning as You were the Light declared by the Father…” Let there be Light”, Lord Jesus today in Faith we seek You and open our hearts to you so that your Holy Spirit will come and by Your Grace we will be Sealed with Your Blood of Atonement, looking to that day Lord when we shall see You as You are. Devotionals for Monday: January 8, 2018

 

Beware…  All that glitter is not Gold, Test the Spirit, as there are false wannabe shepherds…

As Moses and the Israelites journeyed to the Promised-Land, they conquered many along the way, coming into the land of the Moabites, the Moabites feared Moses and they engaged a sorcerer Balaam to ‘Curse’ the Israelites, instead his mission was blocked by God, as God made his donkey to speak with his telling him of the roadblock by the angels of God.

To Balaam the money that he would receive from the Moabites glittered in his eyes but this time he could not collect it, as the Spirit of the Lord was with the Israelites.

Our Lord moves in a Divine way, so much so that He made the Donkey talk… He ‘Jammed’ the wheels of Pharaoh’s chariots pursuing the Israelites as they cross the Red-Sea.  He walked on Water and allowed Peter to do so, but Peter’s faith was overcome by fear. 

So, Jesus saying… Luke 4:18

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed,

Serving HIM by LOVE and OBEY His Commandments, to SERVE HIM and bring others to HIM, by REJOICING in HIS Words, to PROCLAIM the Salvation of His Redemption, to Serve Him WHOLEHEARTEDLY, and come to HIM with HUMILITY.

We are writing about serving our Lord while serving others. For many of us in our present circumstances, we face many challenges, some may have lost a loved one, some may be facing financial needs, family matters, and relationships, children growing up in a society filled with many distractions. The negativism of the news and even issues in churches and facing personal challenges affecting our walk with the Lord, are the mountains that we face daily.

So, you may ask how does this topic of ‘Live by the Spirit, Love our Lord, Serve others’ be relevant while one is facing a mountain of issues, as recited above? Life is to live the moment by knowing that our Lord loves us, and that we were known to Him before we were born, He knows us by name, He has a plan for each of us, He offers His care and above all He offers His Priceless Gift of Salvation.

Some may say it is easy for us to just adopt the “Place it all at the Cross” “Cast your burdens on God”, and ‘Leave it up to Him’ but these approaches have not yielded any answer for me… if this is your attitude, you have not truly applied any of these principles, why? It is live writing a request to a charitable foundation by simply saying, I need a million dollars because I can use it to do something, you need to write a request to these funding organizations with a detailed plan and explain how you intend to achieve your mission.  With God it is not like this, but in some ways, there is a need to make your request known to the Lord, but with thanksgiving, give Him thanks that when your favor is granted you will achieve your goals and you are thanking Him for the Goals, not the money. So, if the goal is not worthy of His favor, the request will not be granted.  Why? He said why you do not receive His favor; it is because you ask amiss, meaning your intentions are not good, you plan to use what He will provide for things that are abominable to Him. Therefore, you are ignored.

Come to our Lord with Faith and with the resolve that what you seek will be for good things, the good things are not necessarily to run a charity and care for 1,000 homeless individuals, ‘Goodness’ in the eyes of the Lord is to live by His precepts of knowing He is God, and that Jesus died for you, and that He loves you and just the first two Commandments will allow you to adhere to the other 8 commandments. First, he said Love Him, Secondly, Love your Neighbors like yourself.  So, when we can live by these two key factors, all other things will fall into line.

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Redeemer we come in Your Holy presence. We lift you up before all. Thank You Lord for opening the doors to bring visitors each day; Lord we are privileged to be Your messenger and we thank you for your blessings. Lord Jesus open our minds and grant us wisdom and let our readers grasp the Good News of Your Salvation. Lord bless our Visitors, bless each and every one.  We pray in Your Holy Name and give You the Glory and the Power now and forevermore… Amen.

Text:  Genesis  50: 20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

Commentary:

How would you like to build a house, give someone ‘Free’ occupancy and when you go to do an inspection they slam the door in your face? In this case you entered the relationship with extreme-good intention, but the occupant had real-bad intention from the get go. This is what we did to our Lord, yet He continued to love us.  Is His Kindness weakness? To mankind this is how we look at kindness, (you may say “I am not like others”) How long would you tolerate the insult from you non-paying occupant?

Joseph who was sold by his brothers became the head of Pharaoh’s kingdom, so in the great famine his brothers came to Egypt, and there was Joseph as the governor of this great kingdom. His brothers lied to their dad that Joseph was killed by a lion, and here they were facing this now powerful man. Joseph’s view of the event is summarized in the Text above…

Our Lord already knows the end and He already wrote the Victory plan for our lives. But we must come to Him, just like the Kicker must be ready to take the hand-off and punt the ball to win.  Without coming to the Lord, we cannot receive His Salvation, it is free but we must accept it.  He made us ‘Free-thinkers’ so nothing is ‘forced’ on us by our Lord. Therefore, Adam and Eve were evicted from the Garden of Eden, they turned away just as they had ‘Victory’ coming into their hands.

Principle: Bear one another burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ… Galatians 6: 2

“God’s law is a natural order, which is Love; so brotherly love fulfills His desires for us”.

EVENING:

His Promise / His Faithfulness: for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1: 7

Action/Coming to our Lord:  Knowing our Sovereign Eternal God endowed us with His Love, His Grace and His Redemption. So we acknowledge the Supremacy of our Lord Jesus… For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Conclusion: When mankind turned away from God and sought ‘independence’ this is where we find that our independence is like saying; Lord I don’t need you but I need the Air that I breathe, the water that You provided, and the elements of earth that sustain my life I cannot do without, but I don’t want You around…. This is when our loving God said… “Father forgive them for they do not know what they do”

What a privilege our Lord Jesus came to bestow on us… by giving us our citizenships in heaven.

We are reflecting on the Supremacy of our Lord Jesus with the following verses:

Jesus said we can boldly come to Him…

Prayer: Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer. Which is better, Gold, Food, Water, or God’s Providence?

 

Text:  John 15:5 (NIV)

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (These are words spoken by Jesus)

 

Commentary: What is our take on the growing awareness of the doomsday preppers’ show on the National Geographic channel? What is the motive behind such a show sponsored by a Food company that sells food with shelf life of up to 20 years and the United States Gold Bureau?  These are people planning for the end of the world as we know it.  Meaning that they expect a radical change in our everyday lives.

 

The Storm clouds are gathering but to those of us with the knowledge of what our Lord Jesus said about the days of tribulation before His returns, this is no breaking news.  The Good News is that Jesus already conquered the world, and His ‘Preparation’ is almost completed, we did not make this up, Jesus said…” I go to prepare a place for you” so that where He is you will be also.  We wrote about the ‘Caveat’ which is a special condition of Jesus’ promise, which is; as said by Jesus “and IF I go to prepare a place for ‘You’, This was His special condition that means… ‘IF” you qualify He would prepare a place for ‘You’ also.  Jesus’ statement is quite specific, many readers will assume that Jesus was just going to prepare a place for all.

 

Now the issue of life’s uncertainty imposed by the group of doomsday preppers, we must look back at the interpretation by Joseph of Pharaoh’s dream, predicting the 7 years of bountiful harvest and the 7 years of famine. So therefore, the world has seen, and mankind experienced the feast to famine eras in times past.  Is there a Joseph in the future of America? 

 

Let’s take a brief look at the life of Joseph, here was a young man sold into slavery, but his new master was the chief administrator of the Pharaoh’s kingdom, He was falsely accused by his bosses’ wife, put in prison, released from prison and became the number one administrator of Pharaoh’s kingdom, saved the nation from a major famine, his brothers who sold him came to buy grains and he gave them the grains and then had the permission of his boss to bring his father and brothers to live in a land of plenty.

 

Does this sound familiar? Is Joseph’s life similar to our Lord?  Joseph’s Coat of many colors was taken from him, he suffered under the hands of men when he was innocent, but he was triumphant in the end.  Think of the similarities in Jesus’ life. So, we may say Joseph was like Jesus. The difference is that instead of a family with brothers that he saved, Jesus came to save the world, and His Salvation is not to the land of Goshen, but to an everlasting place of Splendor. Jesus did not have a dream, Jesus had a plan, and His plan as revealed in the Gospel which is the Good News of His Redemption through His Divine Resurrection which is what we proclaim here today.

 

We cannot purchase one of the place that our Lord is preparing, it is only received by a Grant, a Grant from God through His Son Jesus our Redeemer. It is by Grace, and not by entitlement.

 

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Ephesians 1:7 (NIV)

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

 

Conclusion: God’s Providence is paramount to all of what this world can offer. Because what this world offers are all temporary, only the love of our Sovereign God. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.


What Jesus said… “I will never leave you nor forsake you” this is a statement that will be forever…

Therefore, we can focus at: Titus 2:13-14 (NIV)

13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

Action/Coming to our Lord:   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God… Romans 8:14 NKJV

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus Lord Jesus we thank You for the privilege to bring Your Good News to many in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus. Lord let what is being done be with Your approval as it is You that we serve and no other my Lord.  Lord let your servants be equipped and Lord let us go that extra mile to reach as many for You my Lord as You said to go to the ends of the Earth and to Proclaim You as our Lord and Redeemer, Lord Jesus bless our Visitors and we ask Your favors upon us all.  We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Today…  Finding the Stream, be refreshed and renewed by the still-water provided by the Lord.

The favorite Psalm 23 recited…

Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need! He lets me rest in the meadow grass and leads me beside the quiet streams. He gives me new strength. He helps me do what honors him the most. 

The ‘key’ word above is… He is my ‘Shepherd’, and my Shepherd He provides all my ‘needs’

The claims of Sheep being dumb, may not be entirely true, they can recognize humans’ facial feature, they can recognize the voice of their Shepherd, and they develop a hierarchy among themselves by following the leader.

1,500 sheep stepped of the cliff and 500 died, this may prove that they are dumb. In the Airforce the squadron leader can also lead his flyesr following him in a mountain. And this also occurred, so could we say Airforce Pilots are dumb?.  Certainly not. Just plain human error that caused such a disaster. And maybe the same for the flock leader that led his fellow sheep over the cliff.

One thing for sure Sheep do not have any defenses, and are extremely vulnerable. And as the saying goes…’Gentle as a Lamb, therefore Jesus refer to His followers as Flocks of sheep.  But He was the Unblemished Lamb, and He was not defenseless, as He said…

Jesus our Messiah during His 33 years made more impact than anyone, today as we address 2018 years after His birth, March 30th will be Good Friday and April 1st will be Resurrection Day. These dates are the most important date to human.

But there is a fourth event to come, and that is the ‘Day of The Lord’.  So, why do we bring this up, because Jesus said this will occur, and His Word will always be fulfilled. So, believe this as a faithful statement as declared in…

Challenge…      Keeping your powder dry, do not expend your bullet, be prepared to conquer in Christ’s Name

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

 

Commentary: The like of Saul before he was known as Paul was the direct opposite of what he became after Jesus chose him to be a Vessel to bring the Gospel to the Gentiles. Saul persecuted Christians, arresting them and brought them to be stoned even unto death. Saul was a ‘diligent’ persecutor of Jews that converted to Christianity. In fact, Saul was on his way to Damascus with warrants to arrest more Christians to be persecuted; but his plans were dramatically changed when the Lord struck him down and blinded him.

 

Here was a ‘warrior of a man’, full of confidence and what we would call a ‘bull-worker’ now lying on the ground helplessly saying….

Acts 9

Saul’s Conversion

Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

“Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked.

“I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless; they heard the sound but did not see anyone. Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So, they led him by the hand into Damascus. For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything.

Principle:  God chooses even the enemies to carry out His mission.

 

Romans 8:

Today as we face the wiles of the evil one, we need to be armed…

Scientific prodigy – Blaise Pascal – He hid the Word of God in his vest…

Pascal's mother died when he was 3, and his father moved the family from Clermont-Ferrand, France, to Paris, where he homeschooled Blaise and his sister. By age 10, Pascal was doing original experiments in mathematics and physical science. To help his father, who was a tax collector, he invented the first calculating device (some call it the first "computer").

 

With this last invention, he had made a name for himself (at age 19!) and began his richly diverse scientific career. He tested the theories of Galileo and Torricelli (who discovered the principles of the barometer), culminating in his famous law of hydraulics, which states that pressure on the surface of a fluid is transmitted equally to every point in a fluid. He added important papers on the vacuum, on the weight and density of air, and the arithmetic triangle. He developed the theory of probability, which is still used today. He invented the syringe, the hydraulic lift, and is credited with inventing the wristwatch and mapping out the first bus route in Paris. It is said Pascal was embarrassed by his multiple talents.

"Night of fire"

All the while, Pascal was exploring the spiritual world, which was undergoing a revolution across Europe. While pietism flourished in Germany, and Wesleyan holiness spread through England, Catholic France was feeling the effects of Jansenism—a form of Augustinianism that taught predestination and divine grace, rather than good works, as vital for salvation.

In 1646 Pascal came in contact with Jansenism and introduced it to his sister, Jacqueline, who eventually entered the convent of Port-Royal, a center of Jansenism. Pascal, however, continued to struggle spiritually: he wrestled with the dichotomy between the world and God.

Then on November 23, 1654, Pascal experienced a "definitive conversion" during a vision of the crucifixion:

"From about half-past ten in the evening until about half-past twelve … FIRE … God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, and not of the philosophers and savants. Certitude. Certitude. Feeling. Joy. Peace."

He recorded the experience (called the "Mé;morial") on a piece of parchment, which he carried with him the rest of his life, sewed inside his coat. He began a life-long association with Port-Royal—though he, unlike his sister, never became a "solitaire."

Passion for Christ

His greatest works are not only masterpieces of French prose but sterling defenses of the Christian faith.

Prayer… Lord Jesus today as we gather with all friends and families, we Thank You and Praise You for Your Graciousness knowing that it is only by Your Grace that we are saved and journeying to Your Kingdom, where You have prepared a place for us.

Jesus, You said…” I am not of this world” You ascended to Heaven, but You did not abandon us; You sent The Holy Spirit to be with us while You went to His Father. Lord we acknowledge the same Holy Spirit that descended on the day of Pentecost where 5,000 came to You Lord Jesus through Peter’s telling them the Good News, this Holy Spirit is with us right now.

Jesus, You have said… “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them”. 

Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we thank You for the privilege of serving You. Lord be with us today as we give You first place in our lives, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Commentary: One could say that the most precious thing in our life is life itself.  This could be the most precious thing we possess, but what is life? It is just a vapor… James 4:14

The famous comedian Rodney Dangerfield once said, “I am so old, so I do not buy green bananas” But Jesus said… “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” John 15: 5 NKJV

Today we have the assurance of the faithfulness of our Lord… “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”.  Philippians 15: 5

Because God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life… John 3: 16

Do This… Try being gentle with humbleness, Jesus applied this throughout His time on earth…

Yes, we have what it takes to be ‘Proud full of Pride’… When you know Christ, you are a Chosen Generation a Royal-Priesthood. Should this set us apart? Certainly not. Jesus who came 2018 years ago, and during his 33 years with the latter 3 years being His ministry spent among the citizens of the towns and cities where He traveled, He never was full of Pride or exudes a superiority complex.

On the contrary, Jesus said to the centurion… why call me good? Matthew 19:17

So, He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” In Context | Full Chapter |

On another occasion Jesus did turn over the tables of the money-changer, this was not an act of arrogance, It was an act of correction.

Even when He was about to raise Lazarus from the dead, He did this with a somber and humble approach, by giving His Father the Glory.

Reviewing these actions of our Almighty Messiah, or Redeemer, we should remember to be like Him, use His privileged gifts to bestow the Glory to Jesus who provides all our needs.  One of the ‘Need’ may not even be visible to those observing you walk with Christ, what could this be?  The Gift of God’s Eternal-Life that He had given you.  So, make this known to as many that in Christ, because if you do, this will be your reward…

Matthew 10:32  (The Word of the Lord, spoken by Jesus Himself)

Confess Christ Before Men] “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. In Context | Full Chapter | Verse 33: stated the opposite…  33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Jesus visited many cities, and some did not repent, He mentioned many and He said this of their future…” 24 But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.”

Jesus; mission here was of Peace, Redemption and to assure us of His Grace that provides an Abundant life and a more Abundant life to come… through the following statement made by Jesus we should see His intent:

Matthew 11:

Jesus Gives True Rest

25 At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. 26 Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. 

28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

His special invitation is extended to all even now… Why now? You see even today Jesus’ message is still as fresh as it was 1,985 years ago when he spoke these Words. Why, because God through Him sent His Holy Spirit to dwell among us.  And it is the Holy Spirit that guides each of His followers.

So, knowing that you are blest, set apart and made a Joint Heirs in Christ, this should make you Bold and to let other know of the Redeeming-Grace of Jesus.

As we enter this New Year, let this aim to… ‘Know Christ and to make Him Known’ We are given God’s mission to be fruitful and multiply. Because our Almighty God is a God of Restoration, and we are given His mission to reproduce in His Name.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Reminder to our visitors, keep looking to our Lord to be the Author and Finisher of our Faith… God Loves You, and come to Jesus as He is our Mediator and our Sovereign God in One of His Divine Holy Trinity in His Father our Creator and His Holy Spirit. †††

Prayer… Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord let the city lights be dimmed in my view that I can see the glorious heavens that You have created by Your Divine Powers. Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore, Your Favor and your Divine Grace, be our Visitors and with each of us and grant us safety and as Your Said Lord.” You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

 Praise & Adoration = Love. Try this formula, it replaces ‘Fear’. Adoration is to respect and admire…

It’s New Year’s Eve… Lets start the new year with Praise and Adoration.  Love is the key ingredient of this great equation. It replaces ‘Fear’ and when it come to our Lord it is by His Grace that gave us the time to Adore Him ant by Knowing Him we Love Him because he first loved us.

To many the phrase of ‘because He first loved us” is an unclear message, why? If it is because He Loved us why we should love Him, then it is really not a ‘mutual’ love, meaning because we received His love so we are obliged to love Him… On the contrary, His Love is beyond the ‘feeling’ of love, it is the Divine Redemption through His Blood that He shed at Calvary for us all.

Remember we are all born with a DNA that links us to Adam, and this is the root cause of why Jesus came to Redeem us. If you feel that you are good enough and do not need Christ’s Redemption that, you are ‘Lost’….

Matthew 18:11 For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. In Context 

No, you did not lose you way on your own, you were born lost, because of Adam.  Because of Adam’s sin, God placed a mark on us all.  But, through His Son Jesus who is God among Us, came and Paid-It-All.

As Paul who was chosen by Jesus to be His Vessel, who preached Christ Crucified and Resurrected… Scriptures said… Romans 8:1

Free from Indwelling SinThere is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. In Context

Remember the Passover, and the Blood of the Lamb… The Blood of Jesus Christ our Savior is His seal that will shield us for the ultimate ‘Passover’ as on the Day of the Lord, the final Passover will occur.

2 Peter 3:10

The Day of the Lord ] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

Jesus Christ is the Owner of it all, we are just ‘Occupants’ there was a sign on the wall in our real estate office… It had a picture of the Almighty telling us … “ This is GOD, Please vacate, I need the space”… Signed GOD.   Our Lord told us to be good stewards, He also told us to be fruitful and multiply, He entrusted to us His Creations then He said they were all Good. And When He created Man He said that it was very Good, but, “It was not good for Man to be alone” so He created Woman.   To think that our Lord in His infinite power knew what it took to have Man and Woman become one and to grow a family unit, so He ‘Fashioned’ Woman to be naturally attractive to Man and He did an overwhelming job of this.  As man has reacted to His creation of the Co-Worker with far reaching adoration and beyond…  It is for this reason why the sanctity of Marriage is Sacred as it is endowed to a Man and a Woman to become one and be fruitful and multiply. 

Today we have a society that has gone off the deep-end into making a mockery of His Intelligent Design.  Not only are we doing this, if Jesus was to return without the Trumpet sound, most likely, He would not be recognized and would be greeted by scoffers and probably we arrested or be looked at as an insane impersonator.   Even in our Churches, if He was to come as He is and sat in the front Pew quietly, many of us would just stare at this strange looking fellow and probably not say…”Welcome to our Congregation’ (Except for the greeters)   in fact it would have to take a hot looking couple driving up in a Bentley Coupe and walking into the sanctuary that many would probably take notice and say hello how are you and probably extend a welcome to them ….

His Promise:

“He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’... Revelation 21:5, NIV)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today in Faith we come knowing that You ascended into Heaven and sits at the right-Hand of our Father on the Throne of Righteousness.  Jesus Messiah, Eternal Sovereign God in One of Your Father and His Holy Trinity, We thank You for Your Saving Grace.  Lord today we seek Your guidance as we pray for this nation of the United States and ask Your divine blessings upon this country that our people will turn to You and seek You and You will heal our land. Lord, we ask Your Divine Blessings on our Visitors and grant us all Your Favors. Lord we are Privileged to Serve You for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore. Amen.
