Be still and Know that He is God… Be in Awe knowing that He sees you.

It is amazing that even our thoughts are known to God. Everyone is known to God. So, when we think we can understand God, we can’t even imagine how you as one of 7.7 billion people could ever be known to Him.

Jesus said…”No longer do I call you servants, but friends”

John 15:15

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. In Context

Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

1 Chronicles 29:11-14 [Full Chapter]

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all. “Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name. ...

God will not be Mocked….

Text: Proverbs 9:10
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Proverbs 9:9-11 (in Context) Proverbs 9 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

What is considered ‘Mocking our Lord’? The word Mock is defined as… to treat with contempt or ridicule: deride,  defy, or challenge.

In our lifetime we all have experienced some degree of mockery, but the worst case of mockery is to have some form of ‘Respect’ for the individual but behind his back we commit things that are offensive to the person.  It is like saying Dear God, I love You and Praise You and I serve You, then in the afternoon we are violating his trust.  This is among the highest form of mockery that we can commit.  But our God who is Omniscience, Omni Potent and all Powerful will not be mocked.

In society we often misjudge Kindness for ‘Weakness’ Our Lord express such kindness and so many of us take His love for granted.  There is an “Entitlement’ offered by our Lord, and He offered His Love to have made the ultimate Sacrifice for us by granting us His Grace and it is an Entitlement that we must accept. God’s Grace is not earned, and it is freely given, but not received by default, it must be accepted through Him. Jesus Paid-it-all, and His Redemption is made for you, so come to Him and receive it.

Mocking our Lord comes from all levels, Sin is not exclusive to any one group, and you can be in the clergy, a Priest, a Pastor, and an Evangelist… The Scripture warn about ‘Falling-Away’ after being enlightened, so being a member of the Clergy, a Pastor willfully ‘Falling-away’ by partaking in a sinful act is a mockery of our Lord at a higher level; as such an individual breached the trust of the Lord and his parishioners.

The scoffer that scoffs at our Lord and jest against Him, the non- believer is committing an act of Mockery against our Lord; So those in the service of our Lord must be guarded and be aware that the consequence is far-reaching.

His Promise:

1 Corinthians 3:16-23

New King James Version (NKJV)

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Prayer: Heavenly Father because of Jesus our Redeemer and through You Lord we have Victory and we can boldly declare that this day is the best day of all because You Lord Jesus paid it all.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your Divine blessing on us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday: January 30, 2019

Be thankful for a beautiful sunrise, the ocean breeze, the fresh air and the babbling brook, and remember the one who made it all…

Let this day be a day of thanking our Lord for His Graciousness and His Divine Redemption.

So, delight yourself in Christ, and be in Awe of His Majesty.

Fear of the Lord is to be in Awe and recognize the Majesty of God.

I am to revere Him as He is God and He is Sovereign and Holy.  Yet,  I can come to Him, Father God through Jesus The Christ.

Today we are all privileged to boldly approach the throne of God, all made possible through the Righteousness of our Redeemer Jesus who is one in the Father.

Jesus said… “If you have seen me you have seen the Father”

John 1:18

No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

John 5:37

And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form.

What if you were to receive a call today, and the caller said… forego going to church today and meet me in my office, I have a check for you from a settlement, what would you do? I would question the caller, and tell him, keep it till tomorrow and I will come by and get it, what if he said… I am leaving town and I must hand you this in person? I would ask could we do this after church? And he said, he is leaving in an hour, what would you do? I would ask when will you be back? He said maybe in a month, then what would you Do? I would say, I am on my way, then I would turn to the Lord and say… Lord this check is yours and I am on my way to collect it as you have divinely provided so that I can give your share as my tiding to the church this evening when I attend the late worship service.

In life we have made many detours but let us use these detours to gain others for Christ, or to gather the resources to be used for the Lord’s mission.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father as I delight myself in You through my Redeemer, Jesus, and Lord Jesus because of Your Holiness I am blessed and by Your Righteousness I am made a child of the Father. Lord today as we affirm that before Abraham You were, and Lord Jesus we thank You for this privilege of serving, and bless our Visitors as we go in Faith and in Awe of Your Majesty and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday: January 29, 2019

‘Global Warming’ is God’s way for us to grow more food for 8+ billion people?

The global discussion of Climate change and global-warming, carbon taxes on fossil fuel etc., the discussion goes on to place the blame on humans. While the finger pointing goes on, there is a need to produce more food for a growing world population.

There is a silver-lining to the global warming as more of earth’s surface will become fertile ground to be farmed.

Environmentalists  can blame the greenhouse gases and the methane gas on livestock and climate change, just as they can do nothing and blame the burning of the house on others,  while they leave a bucket of gasoline next to the fireplace. It appears that all the environmentalist wants is for everything to be on automatic pilot, meaning, we don’t have to treat the garbage, we don’t have to cultivate the soil, all we have to do is sit back and blame others and say that the animal herds are causing the methane gas, so let’s kill all the cows and every living animal.  It should be pointed out, that these are money grabbers talking about carbon-neutral and green energy etc., these so-called experts that appear to know more than God.

So, let us thank the Lord as the cattle on a thousand hills belong to Him, and He gave us dominion over it all.

Be ready to harvest an abundant crop, and remember to share it…

In Biblical teaching, Jesus talked about the owner of the Vineyard and the take-over by the vineyard keepers.  Jesus was foretelling His own experience (A Metaphor to His Crucifixion) as seen in…

John 1: The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.

11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Luke 20:9 [The Parable of the Tenants] He went on to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard, rented it to some farmers and went away for a long time. Luke 20:8-10 (in Context) Luke 20 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Luke 20:10 At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants, so they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed.

Luke 20:13 “Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my son, whom I love; perhaps they will respect him.’ Luke 20:12-14 (in Context)

Luke 20:15 So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. “What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them?

Luke 20:14-16 (in Context) Luke 20

Luke 20:16 He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others.” When the people heard this, they said, “God forbid!” Luke 20:15-17 (in Context)

But God is not mocked

(Galatians 6:7); (NIV) Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

(Matthew 7:21–23). (NIV) True and False Disciples:

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and, in your name, perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

His Eternal-Assurance:

(Claim this tonight by coming to our Lord) Romans 8:38-39 New International Version (NIV)

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord we thank You for Your Covenant of Grace and Your Eternal Word of Assurance as in You Lord Jesus nothing can ever separate us from You as we look to that day when we shall see You Lord Jesus. We approach Your throne of Grace with confidence to receive Your mercies and by Your Grace Your providence shall be upon us and our Visitors. Lord we thank You and give You first place in our lives, Lord we pray in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Preparing for a bumper crop, soon it will be springtime, be ready to enjoy the fruit.

Enjoying the fruit of our labor is a well-known statement. We prefer to say…” Enjoy the abundance of the Lord’s providence’

Job 10:12

You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit.

Galatians 5:22-23 [Full Chapter]

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Topic: It is a wonderful day… a day to be thankful. Inspite of any challenges, give thanks to the Lord for the Best is yet to come.

Focus: Lord, what a difference a day makes... Today let us Praise our Lord for He is Worthy.

We are set apart… The Good News for today are:

“The battle is not yours, but God’s. … stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.”

“Do not be terrified. … The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you” (Deuteronomy 1:29-31).

“All this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47).

“If God is for us, who can be against us? … In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Romans 8:31, 37).

Philippians 4:4-6

(21st Century King James Version (KJ21) 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; and again, I say, "Rejoice!"

5 Let your moderation be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.   6 Fret not about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God.

When we have received the Favor of our Lord as He is Faithful and will grant us our request when we ask in faith, we are to pray with Thanksgiving and to use His provisions for the purpose and not turn away when we have been delivered, you are to continue to seek Him and give Him the Glory.

When you have had great deliverances out of troubles and turmoil, remember to say…, "I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." And supplied all I have needed because our Lord is Faithful… Praise Our Lord Jesus who sits on the Throne of Righteousness.  www.goodnewsforever.org

The Model Prayer

Background…. The Text is from Luke… Luke was a Gentile and a physician, and also a missionary that worked alongside Paul.  The time of Luke’s writing was between 60 to 80 years after the birth of Christ. Luke was a witness and lived during the Resurrection of Jesus who was crucified at age 33, therefore the events recorded by Luke are authentic and reliable and factual.

Luke 11 (New King James Version (NKJV)

11 Now it came to pass, as He (Jesus) was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.”

2 So He (Jesus) said to them, “When you pray, say:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come.

Yours will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

4 And forgive us our sins,

For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.

And do not lead us into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.”

Commentary:  Back in Sunday’s school the version of our Lord’s Prayer, ended with: For Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and Glory…Forever, AMEN

Only from our Lord can we have an Everlasting Peace. Real Peace by anyone on earth is still limited to a finite time.  So, we call this a ‘Superficial’ Peace as it can only last till we face that fateful day; but, should we have FAITH in our Lord and accept His Covenant of His Salvation, then we will have Peace here and Peace in a place of Splendor, which will be an Infinite Everlasting Peace & Joy, fully sanctified in the presence of our Lord Jesus. What a privilege we have in Him, as Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and in Faith we can trust HIM.

Conclusion:  Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are, we will be. Lord, bless our Visitors and grant to us Your favors, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

What a privilege to come to the House of our Lord… a place of renewal.

Living in a country where freedom of worship is constitutionally granted and protected, this is a privilege. Around the world Christians are persecuted, churches are raided, worshipers are jailed, and buildings are demolished.  Even today developing countries on a national level are closing churches. When you examine the intent of such a government’s action of closing churches, what is their intent? is it because they fear the God whom the church members are worshipping? Most certainly the church members cannot overthrow a powerful government such as the Peoples Republic of China. So, what do they fear?

They do not fear the Lord, they fear losing control of their totalitarian rule. While many of these people are law abiding the rulers are afraid that followers of Christ could eventually revolt, as church movement is on the growth trending, as it is projected that china will eventually become the most populous Christian nation in the world.

Let us keep praying for China to be awaken, that the leaders may come to the enlightening that Christianity is good for the nation.

Hebrews 4:14-16 New International Version (NIV) Jesus the Great High Priest

14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

John 1 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Eternal Word

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, we come to seek Your Divine Guidance today.  Lord Jesus because You are on the Throne of Righteousness and intercedes for us Lord, we ask Your Blessing and we Thank You Lord for Your Graciousness.  Today as Your Good News are presented by Your Servants, we pray that the hearers will hear and that the messages will inspire all to come forward in Your Holy Name. Lord we thank You for our many Visitors, bless our Visitors and grant Your favors on each one. Lord Jesus bless this mission of Good News Forever that it will bear fruit for Your Glory.  We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory Now and Forevermore… Amen.

The pleasure of giving, versus being a recipient. Giving is being empowered.

Receiving from the Lord by His Providence is a Blessing, sharing the Gospel is a privilege. Giving to others is being empowered by the grace of the Lord.

Acts 20:35

The Apostle Paul speaking to the Ephesians

“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Regarding Angels... They can do supernatural things--like scare off entire armies or appear miraculously in bright light. But did you know there is one thing angels aren't allowed to do that only you and I can do? Angels may not communicate the message of the gospel of Christ. That has been reserved for us alone. Paul said that we--you and I--have been entrusted with the gospel. You may recall the story of Cornelius, a centurion described as a devout man--one who feared God, gave alms, and prayed. One day an angel of God came to him and assured him his prayers had been heard. Now, here was a man who was ready to repent and believe the gospel. Yet the angel didn't tell him how to trust Christ! The only thing the angel was allowed to do was tell the man how to get in touch with the apostle Peter, who could then tell him what he must do to be saved.

Think of it! The heavenly messengers of God--those beings whose only desire is to do God's will--are not able to call men and women to follow Christ and turn to Him in repentance and faith. That task has been given to you and me.

Friend, I urge you to share Christ where you live, work, and play, by setting a Christlike example and being willing to talk to others about Jesus Christ. Prayer Lord, what a privilege to share in Your plan… Amen

So, avoid a leaky roof in a rainstorm, and oppression from men, knowing that in Christ we have His Peace and no fear.

Proverbs 4:7

Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do. Whatever else you get, get insight.

Proverbs 2:6

It is the Lord who gives wisdom; from him come knowledge and understanding.

Prerequisite of receiving God’s Providence…

Psalm 37:4 [Full Chapter]

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Matthew 6:33 ESV

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

James 5:16 ESV

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

Psalm 103:11-13 New King James Version (NKJV)

11 For as the heavens are high above the earth,

So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;

12 As far as the east is from the west,

So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

13 As a father pities his children,

So, the Lord pities those who fear Him.

Principle: ‘WE ARE SONS & DAUGHTERS AND NOT SERVANTS”

Galatians 3:26 New International Version (NIV)

26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith,

Philippians 4: 4-9 (NKJV)

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Do not envy the wealth of others, because in your heart you should know that your ’Real-Wealth’ is the truest wealth of all, as in your heart there rings a melody, and this is the love of Christ. Knowing that in Christ all things are possible.

Philippians 4:13New International Version (NIV)

13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

We have so much to tell…

  • The Love of God, through Jesus our Redeemer
  • The exaltation by God the Father of Jesus our Sovereign Eternal Redeemer in the Holy Trinity
  • Let us acknowledge Jesus as Lord…
  • Let us give Thanks to the Lord for His mercies, His Gracious Gift and His coming Return…

Coming to the Lord: These are the saying of Jesus…

  1. Mark 10:15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

Good News -His Faithfulness:  Come to Christ today, acknowledge Him as His Word stated…

Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’ In Context

Prayer:

Father in Heaven in Jesus our Redeemer we come knowing our Lord Jesus sits on the Throne of Righteousness and by His Grace we can come into Your Holy presence. Father we thank You for our Visitors and the privilege of being made Joint-Heir with Christ our Lord, and by Your Grace Lord Jesus we are all children of God through You Lord Jesus.   What causes more stress… U.S. Politics, World News, Economic News?

Stress is the root causes for many illnesses.

If stress itself is a risk factor for heart disease, it could be because chronic stress exposes your body to unhealthy, persistently elevated levels of stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol. Studies also link stress to changes in the way blood clots, which increases the risk of heart attack.

Do You Live Longer if You Go to Church? - Beliefnet

https://www.beliefnet.com/faiths/articles/do-you-live-longer-if-you-go-to-church.asp

Research has suggested the probability looks good for churchgoers. This includes ... WebMD supported that spirituality may help people live longer.

Thinking of the ‘good Ole days’ nothing to worry about as we had the care of loving parents… you still do…

The innocence of a child, the care of loving parents and nothing to worry about.

Commentary:

Many of us are contented with the status quo in our lives, and this applies to all, a child growing up with the care of loving parents ought to be, a Teenager in senior years going unto to college starts getting a little anxious about the future, then growing into a career and getting settled a new plateau is achieved, having kids and then getting to the big 50 we then start looking at another mountain, so conquering the 60’s upwards we start to either slowdown and then our senior years set in with a view of the horizons of our future.  For many this plateau in the autumn of our lives can be a real challenge, because of the great unknown. Fortunately, for believers we can all recite the statement featured in the topic line of this narrative. Praise our Lord!

The above scenario is somewhat applicable to a better time in a world, why? could it be any of the following factors that have impacted our contentment?

•            A more informed world, because of the mass media and this information age?

•            A world of class standards and rising poverty for western civilization?

•            Separation of State and Church has been taken to the point of oblivion and absurdity.

•            A society that endorses alternative Lifestyle mocking our Lord?

•            A society that has lost the spirit of ‘Sportsmanship’ with too much emphasis on the almighty dollar?

•            Removal of Prayers in the name of our Creator and our Lord Jesus?

•            Governments with an agenda to create a secular society without recognizing our Creator?

For meditation: We should never be ashamed to be seen hiding behind Jesus (Mark 8:38).

Conclusion:

There’s Hope in Christ… In Him alone Romans 3:25

God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— Romans 3:24-26

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God we come into Your Holy presence. Lord Jesus today we stand at the Cross knowing that You came and Paid-It-All, and that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord all things point to the day that will be known as ‘The Day of The Lord’… By Your Grace Lord we can say come and come quickly as the prophecy of Your teaching are being fulfilled.

We ask Your blessing upon our Visitors and that all will come to You realizing Your Love and great Salvation through Your Sacrifice. Lord let Your favors be granted to all.  To You Lord Jesus we give You the Praises and the Power and Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday: January 22nd, 2019

It would be good to ‘get-away’ from the News, so tune into the Good News.

What is the Good News today?

We do not have to fear anything, and Jesus Paid It All.

Does this mean that we can just sit back and expect to be taken care of? Jesus did say that all our needs will be provided, included the desires of our heart.  While this is what the Lord will do, there is a pre-condition… we are to ‘delight’ ourselves in Him.

Psalm 37:4 [Full Chapter]

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

God’s Plan = TRUTH – Man’s Plan = Hidden Agenda

Focus:   The science of marketing used by media giants today is significantly dependent on ‘Tracking’ your search and shopping habits. The new Chip in your Credit Card; EMV -- which stands for Europay, MasterCard and Visa is a dynamic digital security method that is not constant, therefore to it is more difficult to replicate the card by a fraudster.

While the EMV Chip may be better than the data-strip cards, they may be more vulnerable to fraud as the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) can be accessed while your Card is in your pocket.

The question is… Is EMV Chip a prelude to receive a mark on the hand or on the foreheads?

Revelation 13:15-17 New King James Version (NKJV)

15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Not to be fear-mongering, but the ‘hidden-agenda’ of man may be in fact the agenda of the evil one.  The event of Eve being tempted by the ‘Serpent’ is being applied on a grander scale.

Someone wrote that she declined her credit card with a chip, she later discovered that she could not access her bank account.  The hidden agenda is starting to be revealed.

Revelation 11:15

Seventh Trumpet: The Kingdom Proclaimed] Then the seventh angelsounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

Fear not… These are the Words of the Lord:

Matthew 10:26

Therefore, do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.

Isaiah 41:10 [Full Chapter]

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

To our Lord there is nothing Spooky and unsettling… His divine Grace was displayed here on earth at Calvary…  The Curtain separating the Inner Sanctum of the Temple was torn when Christ said…” It is Finished” the Sun went dark for three hours, a darkness that was without shadows.  He Rose from the Dead on the Third Day, He Ascended into heaven by Levitation.

So, our Prayers and Brain waves are heard by our Lord even a billion all at once but individually for each of us.

Knowing Him – Fellowship in Oneness:

Let it be Your Will Lord… John 1:14

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:16

Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given

John 1:17

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we Praise You for Your Majestic power knowing that You are the Incarnate God of Your Holy Spirit. Lord we are in awe of the vastness of the universe that you have made and given mankind domination over Your Creation. Lord we had such privilege that was squandered in the garden of Eden, but Lord Your Un-Conditional love for us You Mercies we have, and Your Redemption made available to us all, we thank You for your Grace and we accept Your Gift of Salvation in You Lord. Lord thank You for remembering us just as You remembered Noah and replenished the earth and we today are here because of Your Grace. Lord bless our Visitors and grant as Your Peace and Favors Lord. We pray in your Holy Name Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday: January 21st, 2019

When is enough is enough, and over the top? The political dispute is overdone.

Living in a country that is known as the United States of America, the way the politicians are acting, it appears that these elected representatives of the people once elected they now feel that they own the county and that they can do whatever without accountability.

Upholding public office, they must take an oath, but to many politicians, ‘swearing allegiance’ is just a formality and its reality that not what they are in office to do.

Government officials remind me of a kid let loose in a candy store.

Running your own household may not be like running a government, but it takes fiscal discipline, ethics and relationship compatibility among family and peers. One of the chief roles is setting good examples. Do we see this in our government leaders? Maybe, but there is little bipartisan, as the order of the day of politicians is to upstage each other and to gain an edge.

Without the presence of the Lord, there will never be peace.

As scientists continue their research the recent discovery of quantum vibrations in microtubules inside brain neuron may be what Jesus referred to as a ‘Grain of Mustard’ Seed…  Quantum-Physics is still a mystery, and this is the utopia that scientists are trying to achieve, the ability to travel at the speed of light is what man would like to achieve. Yet God has already made this provision, as Jesus ‘Ascended’ and as we said in a previous posting thousands of believers are performing this feat daily as they too ‘Ascended’ to the presence of the Lord.

TEXT: Ephesians 1: 3-12 Redemption in Christ

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both[a] which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

Coming to the Lord:

Come to the Lord while there is time, as He said now in the time of Salvation… Remember you cannot drive your car without insurance. Protecting your vehicle and yourself by insurance is mandatory, but there is a greater need to have the ultimate assurance… The Priceless Gift of the Grace and Salvation from Jesus our Redeemer is your ‘Umbrella-Assurance’ and Jesus said come unto me…

Good News -His Faithfulness:

For it is by Grace we are saved…. Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

His Divine Providence

Job 10:12 NIV
You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit):

His Saving Grace:

2 Timothy 1:9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

We can come to the Throne of Righteousness in Prayer knowing that our High Priest our Redeemer Jesus Christ intercedes for us and by His Grace we are Saved.

Prayer… Lord let me be humble and by brotherly love not pre-judge anyone. Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You.  leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore; Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broaden and grant our audience that seek You Lord; safety and as You said Lord... ”You will never leave us nor forsake us”. Bless our Visitors as we go in faith. To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Devotionals for Sunday:  January 20, 2019

Give of yourself, your resources, it’s all from the Lord, and it is by Him, and to Him be the Glory.

As we say… Time is fleeting by; it’s almost already February.  The ‘New Year’ just began and it is already the midterm of the first quarter.

The Lord said He would shorten the time for His people.

Matthew 24:22

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. In Context |

It is Sunday and we have Good News for you…

1 Timothy 1:15

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. In Context

The Apostle Paul wrote in his pastoral letters to Timothy, and Paul affirmed that he considered himself to be the worst among sinners. Yet, Paul wrote this…

Romans 8:35

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? In Context |

Romans 8:39

neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. In Context

Paul demonstrated the Love of Christ and professed his faith and the Eternal Grace of the Lord. Paul wrote this

The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey —whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.

But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Now if we are children, then we are heirs —heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Romans 5:20,6:16,8:9-17

Prayer:

Father God, in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus thank You for being present in our midst by Your Holy Spirit. Lord we give of ourselves and our resources knowing that all is created by You and through You, and to You be the Glory. Devotionals for Saturday: January 19, 2019

Stop making wrong turns and jogging in place, step up to the Cross, & be guided by Jesus and the Holy Spirit

The old humor of… Good News we are making good time. But the bad news is; we are lost.

In life we all have made a few mistakes and it is making two steps forward and then stepping back one or even more.

Recalling a personal experience of spending several years in planning and getting approvals for what is known as one of Florida’s largest business parks, during the three year process the incidental projects on the side turned out to be more exciting and profitable.

The ‘by the way’ projects opened the door to access multiple fortune 100 companies.

While a single-focus dedication is a necessity to achieving one’s mission, we must keep our eyes on the peripheral view and see outside opportunities.

The lesson learnt… keep my eyes on the donuts but be aware of my surroundings. As they say, “Luck is when preparedness meets opportunity’. So, in someways there is no such thing as ‘Luck’ we prefer to say it is ‘Providence’.

The changing business model at times may be discouraging, as we see many big-box retailers going extinct or on the brink of going out of business, to some losing your major tenants can be a major loss, but the flip side of repurposing the vacant space could improve the revenue stream. “.

That Lesson can be applied in reaching many for Christ as we identify our audiences, we expect to change the website format and hopefully expand our outreach. Our new format will be a more proactive approach of offering a signup option of receiving the daily devotionals by email to you mail box.

Our new format will be launched in 4-6 weeks. We expect to expand our outreach and by God’s will there will be exponential growth in readership. So, we thank our Lord for His faithfulness of making this possible.

Today we give our Lord Jesus preeminence in all things, and the ‘things’ are not what he needs, He wants us all to come to know Him as this was the sole purpose of His coming.  So let us say…” Lord today. Let our desires be Your desires for our lives, as we affirm You to be the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

Hebrews 12:2 KJV

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. In Context

While this home-grown lay ministry is growing and we take no credit as it is only by the Grace of the Lord, and it is all for His Glory as we seek to follow His commission of spreading the Good News. Our Spanish and Mandarin site have grown in numbers and we thank our audiences, and may the Lord bless each and everyone and we hope our posting are inspirational.  This is our seventh year and we are listening and learning.

Prayer:

Praise to our Heavenly Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus. Lord we thank You for Your abundance of Grace, Love and Providence. Lord we abide by Your Word affirming that all is by You, From You and; To You… as we dedicate all to Your Glory. Lord bless our Visitors as we ask that the Good News sites in English, Spanish and Chinese will flourish like a wild fire leading the way to You.  We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus. To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Get the utmost ‘Peace’ a Peace that nothing can disturb.  He will reveal His Plan.

John 14:27

The Hymn “It is well with my Soul” is a well-known hymn written by Horatio Spafford.  In the Chicago Fire of 1871, which ruined him financially (he had been a successful lawyer and had invested significantly in property in the area of Chicago that was extensively damaged by the great fire). His business interests were further hit by the economic downturn of 1873, at which time he had planned to travel to Europe with his family on the SS Ville du Havre. In a late change of plan, he sent the family ahead while he was delayed on business concerning zoning problems following the Great Chicago Fire. While crossing the Atlantic Ocean, the ship sank rapidly after a collision with a sea vessel, the Loch Earn, and all four of Spafford's daughters died. His wife Anna survived and sent him the now famous telegram, "Saved alone …". Shortly afterwards, as Spafford traveled to meet his grieving wife, he was inspired to write these words as his ship passed near where his daughters had died. [2] Bliss called his tune Ville du Havre, from the name of the stricken vessel.

Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet here, and may never come… Today is what we have, Yes, you are successful, and when we have Christ all things are possible, because you are a child of God. And yes… you are financially independent because our Lord knows what you have need of even before you ask.

The Word said… My Lord shall supply all my needs according to His riches…

Philippians 4:19

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Today. We have the Lord’s assurance…

Philippians 1:6

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. In Context |

Philippians 2:13

for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

Whom do we fear? No one… because we have the assurance of our Lord… as said:

Hebrews 13:6

So, we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

In Context |

Bear this in mind…. Because of Jesus’ unchanging Grace… through the storms of life, He is Lord, Lord of all… Dressed in His Righteousness alone, faultless I will stand before His throne by His Grace.

Be aware… Fame and fortune cannot take anyone to the Lord’s Kingdom. It is only by His Grace…

Romans 11:6

And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. In Context |

Hebrews 13:9

Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them. In Context

In the presence of the Almighty… be prepared, ready or not, He is present.

Time is fleeting-by, but messing with your ‘Body-clock’ is dangerous…

MESSING WITH YOUR body’s clock is dangerous business, in fact it could make you sick – or worse.

The inner timekeeper dubbed the “circadian clock”, governs the day-night cycle that guides sleep and eating patterns, hormones and even body temperature.

Imagine… identified genes that regulate the clock, and the mechanism by which light can synchronize it.

Yet humans have a long history of overriding the circadian-driven need for sleep, Russell Foster, a professor of circadian neuroscience at Oxford University told AFP – the most obvious example being night work.

Such tinkering with Mother Nature can have serious consequences ranging from impulsive behavior to life-threatening conditions such as obesity and cancer, the experts say.

Just look at the poor health records of shift workers such as nurses or factory laborer.

The World Health Organization has already raised the red flag, with a 2007 report noting that “circadian disruption” is “probably carcinogenic” – which means cancer-causing.

The trouble is that the human body never really adapts to operating outside the normal cycle of working by day and sleeping at night.

Like everyone else, shift workers’ biological clocks are set by the rising and setting of the Sun – not their work schedule.

“There is no medicine in the world that allows you to… speed up or slow down your body clock,” said Claude Gronfier, a neurobiologist at France’s Inserm research institute.

An ‘exciting stage’

When workers force themselves to stay awake, it triggers the release of stress hormones such as cortisol – the same one that rushes into your blood in a life-or-death situation.

The chemicals may keep you on your feet, but they are a bargain with the devil.

For example, cortisol works to suppress the immune system and in the long run can make you more susceptible to a range of illnesses, including cancer.

Such a lifestyle also opens one up to eating outside of normal times, when the body’s metabolism might be lower, and the calories are more likely to be converted into fat instead of being burnt up.

“You’re raising your heart rate, raising your blood pressure and insulin levels at a time that you would not ordinarily do that,” (Excerpt from AFP)

So, while time is fleeting-by, use it well, get more sleep. Do not eat outside of normal times, eat more leafy green vegetable, fish, Blue berries, and exercise. Reduce the calories and do not let them turn into fat.

This is our ‘Blog’ for today. Yet we will Praise the Lord for His Graciousness, His love, and His Divine Redemption as we look to Him as the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

Romans 11:33-36  (NKJV)

33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has become His counselor?”
35 “Or who has first given to Him
And it shall be repaid to him?”

36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Jesus said…

No one comes to the Father without Him…. So, when we pray, He is in our Midst. There are no One to One Prayers, All prayers are made to God the Father in the Trinity.  Jesus is ‘One’ with the Father as God in the Trinity.  Jesus is our Triune God of Father Son and Holy Spirit.

Jeremiah 17:7-8: Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord... He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream... Its leaves are always green, and it never fails to bear fruit" (17:7-8).

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity… Lord Jesus Messiah, we lift You up on High and give You our Praises and thank You for Your Divine Grace. Lord today we go in Faith knowing that You are interceding for us and that we can look to that day when we shall see You as You are. Lord bless all Visitors coming to this Good news Website and let your Word be received and grant to us all Your peace; we ask this in Your precious name, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Yes… You can claim His Providence, It is there to be claimed, it’s in your name.

Romans 8:17 [Full Chapter]

Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Ephesians 3:6

[it is this:] that the Gentiles are now joint heirs [with the Jews] and members of the same body, and jointpartakers [sharing] in the [same divine] promise in Christ Jesus through [their faith in] the good news [of salvation]. In Context |

Know this…  You are an ambassador of a kingdom mightier than any country, start now…

Not only are you a representative of the Almighty, He has empowered you, and equipped you with the most advanced weapons.

And, we are to know this… that while we are engaged by HIM, in His Service, we are on His great Dance Floor, enjoying JOY and Peace that no one can give you.

Greater is HE in us than anyone.  We are, and we do this in Meekness, and Humbleness knowing that we know the answers as we end in Victory in Christ.

Remember… it’s like watching the Game, and your team is down three point with two minutes to go, don’t get too concerned because you already know that your team did score the winning goals. So be content, be at peace and know that comes what may, noting can deter us.  His Holy Spirit is with you and us all…  Praise God in the Name of Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Our God is Greater, Stronger and He is Omniscient, Omnipotent and no one like HIM.

A famous man once said, “Although I do not want to live as Christians do, I would like to die as they do”  Obviously this is impossible as a man living without Christ cannot please God, and without Faith this person will never be in the  presence of God.

Paul writing to the Galatians encapsulated the key points of Jesus’ teaching. We will take a brief look back on Paul who was a persecutor of Christians, he even witnessed the stoning death of Steven, and how Saul later known as Paul became a Vessel of Christ. The  Lord chose him and made him a vessel, in fact we read that Paul was not boasting when he said he know of a man that was taken to the third heaven… this is where he received the knowledge of the Good News that he was commissioned to bring to the Gentiles.

Paul was a privileged individual, yet he was imprisoned, suffered at the hands of ‘scoffers’ but he prevailed and was ‘refined by fire’ and became 24 Karat Gold to boldly proclaim Christ Jesus as His Lord.

The most important appointment of the day is: Coming to our Lord,  today we are focused at ‘Freedom’  as we read below… Christ our Redeemer has set us free!

Galatians 5 (NIV)

Freedom in Christ

5: 1.  It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

His Promise:

Hebrews 7:25
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

His Faithfulness:

Romans 8: 28-35

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in the Holy Trinity, Lord as You are on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us Lord, we come and seek you and we bring all things to you Your as You said come and You will give us rest.  Lord today we thank You for the privilege of serving You for Your Glory.  We thank You for our many Visitors and we ask Your divine Blessing on each and Your Favors to be released to those that call on Your Name Lord. We pray this is Your Hold Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Tuesday: January 15, 2019

God makes no preference, all Races are God’s Creation, we are all His children…

Leviticus 19:15

‘You shall not do injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor show a preference for the great but judge your neighbor fairly. In Context

Commentary: Adoption by God is the highest privilege that you can receive, and if you know Him, He knows you and if you are now a child of His, why turn to anyone else that is not able to save you?  The apostle Paul asked this of the Galatians. Paul was talking about Grace versus the Law. The Rabbinic Law under the orthodox Jewish teaching is governed by strict Laws.  The Text for today taught that there is neither Jews or Gentiles, there is neither sale nor free and there is neither male nor female for we are all ‘One’ in Christ Jesus.

We may recall the event of the Ethiopian Eunuch:

We read about this Ethiopian who came to worship at the temple, but he was not permitted to enter, because he was a ‘foreigner’ (not a Jew) and also a eunuch, but was given a book of Isaiah and sent on his way… The Lord saw this and sent Philip to him.

Acts 8: Christ Is Preached to an Ethiopian

26 Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert. 27 So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, 28 was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.”

30 So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”

31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him. 32 The place in the Scripture which he read was this:

“He was led as a sheep to the slaughter;
And as a lamb before its shearer is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
33 In His humiliation His justice was taken away,
And who will declare His generation?
For His life is taken from the earth.”

34 So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?” 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”

37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”

And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. 39 Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea.

We will note that God makes no preference, just as Galatians 3: 28 said… there is neither Jews nor Gentiles for we are all ‘One’ in Christ. Considering that God saw this event and sent Philip to this Ethiopian that was a monumental event that brought Salvation to the country of Ethiopia, which is still a great follower of Christ.

Guidance for Today...1 John 4:4

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
This means that we can face our tempter by the Power of the Holy Spirit that dwells in us. We rebuke the evil one knowing that HE (Jesus) who is in us is greater than he that is in the world.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Thank You Lord for Your Redemption, that we could be adopted by the Father by Your Grace Lord Jesus. Lord Your Divine Resurrection remains true, as we accept You and seek You Lord.  Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You and we thank you for our Visitors, bless us all and grant us Your favors, in Your precious Name we pray, to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday: January 14, 2019

Is God hearing your prayers? Yes… You have just as good a channel like Moses.

Exodus 3:1

Moses at the Burning Bush ] Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Exodus 3:3

Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”

Exodus 3:4

So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”

Exodus 3:6

Moreover He said, “I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.

Exodus 3:11

But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”

Exodus 3:13

Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”

Exodus 3:14

And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

Exodus 3:15

Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’

Jesus said we can come to Him and He will give all His ‘Rest’.

Matthew 11:28

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Be strong, be courageous, lean on the Lord, not on man, trust in the Lord and not on our own abilities, because without Christ we have none.

Who is the Lord? Is He the same Jesus that we read about, dressed in a white robe wearing sandals? While the Bible said… He is the same yesterday and forever, yet He will not be returning in His white robe, why? As we recall Mary could not recognize Him at the tomb, why? HE was in His Celestial Form. Let us read about who He is?...

Ezekiel 1: 27-28 NKJV

I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

The text above stated… ‘This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord’.

1 Corinthians 15:40

There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.

John 8:12

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light oflife.”

Revelation 22:5

There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

Commentary:

All of our earthly achievements are like Henry Ford’s model T, even our latest inter-planetary space ships, our healthcare our satellites and our mode of communications are out moded-obsolete. Yes, the Internet is still amazing as my email sent will arrive from Miami to China in seconds, And what I post today will be on line in a flash. Yet with all the advancements, God great mystery will be revealed as we shall see Him as He is…

On the first day when God said… ”Let there be light”,  Yeshua/Jesus appeared. And there was light, remember the sun was not yet made until the fourth day.

The Supremacy of Christ…

Colossians 1:15

The Supremacy of the Son of God ] The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation

Colossians 1:18

And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

Hebrews 4:14,16 Jesus the Great High Priest

14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Prayer:

Thank You Lord… Lord Jesus in reverence we come knowing that in You all things are possible, and all things work for the Good, and You Lord Jesus is the Good of our lives.

Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we go in faith knowing that You have said, never will You leave us nor forsake us.  We pray in Your Holy Name and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Greater is He in us than in them. He surrounds us with His angels in the presence of our enemy.

Psalm 34:7

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.

In Context |

Proverbs 9:10 [Full Chapter]

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

 Let us analyze the following:

Those that fear Him

Wisdom and knowledge + Understanding

Fear is replaced by having our Adoration of the Lord. So, Love the Lord and fear His Wrath.

2 Kings 6: 16 “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

18 As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, “Strike this army with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked.

Just as how Elisha prayed to the Lord, we too can do this, and He is the Same God, and through Jesus our Lord and Savior our prayers are heard.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we reflect on Your Crucifixion and Your Triumphant Resurrection, Lord we thank you for Your Graciousness and Your Love. Lord we thank You for your Sacrifice at Calvary, and Your Blood of Atonement we receive Lord as we stand in Awe knowing that Your choice was not to thwart Your persecutors as they brought You to the Cross Lord. We thank You for choosing to save us by Your Grace. Lord We give You our Praises and thank You Lord for this privilege and we ask Your blessings on our Visitors as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Get Victory by His Amazing Grace.  No money needed, only Trust & Believe in Faith…

Victory in the outcome of an election is almost unachievable due to many factors.

The Election and voting process can be manipulated in many ways, including Write-in loophole creates election trickery, Re-Districting of the voting districts by carving up the demographics making it favorable to a select party. And of course, illegal voting.

Our take of the old hymn ‘Trust & Obey’ is to say… Trust & Adore, and by adoration we will abide in His Trust.

The English definition of Obey is…  to act according to what you have been asked or ordered to do by someone in authority, or to behave according to a rule, law, or instruction.

God created us as ‘Free-thinkers’ and He created us to love Him, not to be ‘controlled’ and He does not demand our abeyance.

We are to Love the Lord unconditionally, regardless of our life’s circumstances. Why? Because He has provided the best that eyes have not seen, nor can we imagine the Glory and Splendor.

So, being aware that victory in an election is elusive, but, In Christ… Victory is assured because of the Faithfulness of our Savior.  Therefore, we are assured of Victory that is eternal, because it is by Grace, and not by any means of our capability or achievements.

The worldwide movement toward economic, financial, trade, and communications integration.

Globalization implies the opening of local and nationalistic perspectives to a broader outlook of an interconnected and interdependent world with free transfer of capital, goods, and services across national frontiers. However, it does not include unhindered movement of labor and, as suggested by some economists, may hurt smaller or fragile economies if applied indiscriminately.(Credit Businessdictionary.com)

Today more than ever people are being displaced because of wars, civil unrest, terrorism and uncertainty of the future.  But we want to express to our readers that nothing is New…  Mass-Migration existed in Europe, India, Middle-East, Africa by the Transatlantic Slave Trade, and today we have the atrocities of war in Syria, Africa, Middle-East displacing millions.

The Bible made referenced to this… Daniel 12:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

Those who are wise shall shine
Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever.

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

The most Re-Assuring words are…

Revelation 22:12

Jesus Testifies to the Churches] “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work. In Context | Full Chapter |

While Jesus mentioned ‘According to his work’ we are highlighting that His Reward is brought to those who know Him and He knows them… Because ’Work’ will not make us eligible for His Kingdom.

Saved by grace…

Ephesians 2:5

even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, In Context |

So, let us forgive those that trespassed against us as we seek the Lord’s forgiveness.

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Jesus clarified ‘Bread’ as He said… not to live by ‘Bread’ alone.

Matthew 4:4

But he answered, “It is written, ‘One must not live on bread alone, but on every word coming out of the mouth of God.’

The Words of Jesus…

Matthew 16:19

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earthwill be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Matthew 18:18

“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Matthew 18:19

“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

Prayer: Heavenly Father because of Jesus our Redeemer and through You Lord we have Victory and we can boldly declare that this day is the best day of all because Your Lord Jesus paid it all.  Lord we thank you for our Visitors and we ask your Divine blessing on us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday: January 11, 2019

Grace is by God’s Declaration… Believe it, Grace is what bought  & Redeemed you…

What is Grace?

"THE GRACE OF GOD" ... So grace is favor, "unmerited favor." Salvation by Grace. Grace is, therefore, God's unmerited favor - His goodness toward those who have no claim on, nor reason to expect, divine favor. The principal manifestation of God's grace has been in the form of a gift.

Do we deserve Grace? No, we cannot earn it nor purchase it. Yes, you may be able to purchase an extension to an obligation, such as a note. But the note is still an obligation. But God’s Grace is a cancellation of the debt.

Praise Jesus for His mercies…

Matthew 25:35

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in… In Context | Full Chapter

The Lord was not saying ‘HE” was hungry and thirsty, but those we invited in and gave them something, we are doing this for Him.

Today as we meet others, let us share the privileges granted by our Lord…

  • Jesus said we are no longer servants; we are His ‘Friends’
  • We are more than Conquerors
  • We are “Heirs’ to His Kingdom
  • We are forever safe…
  • All things will work together for Good…Romans 8: 28

Romans 8: 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who [I] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

His Love:   Our Sovereign God loves us so much He sent His Son to Redeem us.

1 John 4:10  NIV
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
1 John 4:9-11 (in Context) 1 John 4 (Whole Chapter)

2 John 1:6
And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
2 John 1:5-7 (in Context) 2 John 1 (Whole Chapter)

His Divine Providence

Job 10:12 NIV
You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit. Job 10:11-13 (in Context) Job 10 (Whole Chapter):

His Saving Grace:

2 Timothy 1:9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
2 Timothy 1:8-10 (in Context) 2 Timothy 1 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion: We can come to the Throne of Righteousness in Prayer knowing that our High Priest our Redeemer Jesus Christ intercedes for us and by His Grace we are Saved… Amen

Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You.  leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore; Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broadened and grant our audience who seek You Lord and Your Peace, as Your Said Lord...” You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

Jesus my Living-Hope = Eternal Home in His presence. Eternal Joy and Splendor…

We wrote that Joy is permanent in Christ, and happiness is a temporary mood.

How long can your ‘Happiness’ last? Many people won the lotto only to find that the money comes and ‘Go’.

Why do 70 percent of lottery winners end up bankrupt? It seems difficult to believe: The lucky winners, possibly three, of Wednesday's $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot will probably go bankrupt within five years.  "Studies found that instead of getting people out of financial trouble, winning the lottery got people into more trouble, since bankruptcy rates soared for lottery winners three to five years after winning."

So, money will not buy Joy…

Jesus is our Living-Hope.  The Providence of the Lord is the most reliable source of our lives.  Jesus is never late, He is the Just in Time provider.

Jesus our Redeemer, He knows our faults and Overlook them, and He knows our Needs. So, we must ‘Delight’ ourselves in the Lord.

Psalm 37:4

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Spending our time wisely, time is irredeemable, money can be recovered, experience is an imprint forever...

FOCUS: Could this day be the most perfect day in your life? Think of the best day you ever had, and today could be better…

No, it is not the day you get the keys to the new house or the new car, or the day you met your spouse, or any other happier times.  It is the day that you are able to receive the utmost gift from the Lord…

Material-Wealth is only useful on earth, but useless in heaven, only His Priceless Gift will last forever

Thoughts for the day:      The Bible is not a history book; it is all about our Messiah

TEXT: Ephesians 2:10

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.  Ephesians 2:9-11 (in Context) Ephesians 2 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:  What is the project that you are currently working on?  Each of us have a project in one form or another. It could be to excel in schools, getting good grades, excel in sports, achieving success in the venture that you have started, or just to manage your time, your resources and be comfortable.

God has a plan for each of us as He loves you, and His plans are fully outlined in this Best-Selling book of all times... The Holy Bible!

The Bible provides the answers to many of our everyday challenges…

The Cure for Anxiety is written in: Matthew 6: 33

33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

For centuries men have been going on treasure hunts. Prospecting for Gold, mining precious metal and gemstones is a test of one’s patience.  You will read about the one person that found a large nugget or a sizable gemstone, but there are many prospectors that went broke without ever finding anything of worth.

Maybe everyone should spend more time reading the Bible… The Word of God said:

Ezekiel 47:12

Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”

EVENING:

Hardship can be a treasure:  just like undergoing training. So look at what we consider adverse situation to be a ‘rehearsal’ for Victory.  The best runners do a lot of training and their discipline will only yield benefit through a regimental training which is voluntary.  The discipline of the Lord is ‘mandatory’ as we all need to know when we get there to thank Him and not have to go back through the re-training.

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3 And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Forgiven and set-free. Your sins are removed as far as the east is to the west…

Psalm 103:12

As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

Commentary::

The wonder of our Lord’s creation never ceases to amaze us, even the Locust fly in formation and will not wander from their ranks. This is why when they invade a field, they can eat the crop down in one swoop eating away a swath of vegetation. To think that these wild insects being so small but with a sense of order; they do not break ranks nor crowd each others, they work as a team.  Christian should adopt the order of God’s smallest insects, just like the Ants they are governed by hierarchy, and are very industrious, the leaf-cutting ants are an example of performing large-scale feats as they carry a leaf at least a hundred times their size.

We are probably the least self-taught of all of God’s creation, we are told what to do, through childcare, KinderCare, grade schools, through to college. Our learning process accounts for a great portion of our lifespan.  One of the greatest source of what we really need to know, this source is within the covers of the Holy Bible… One may say it is more like a history book of events, Factually, the events recorded are historical and as such; Genesis through Revelation provides us with how the Lord created, cared, provided, protected and made mankind a body of nations. The Bible revealed the Good News of Jesus’ Redemption through His Crucifixion and Divine Resurrection.

Reflecting back to yesterday’s commentary on the bible…

What’s the Bible all about:

  1. It is a Book about God;  In Genesis it documents the Creation of all things by God
  2. It’s a book about Jesus,  He is the center of the it all, In Isaiah the prophecy of Jesus was foretold 700 years before Christ was born.
  3. It’s a Book about Salvation: It is the Word of God, which is sharper than a two-edged sword.
  4. It’s a book about us:  God so loved us that he sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins. The Bible focus on us , and chronologically document the life and times of mankind.
  5. It’s a Book about today: The Bible is full of Prophecies that are being realized during our time, and today we can read the Bible and it is as contemporary within the hour and foretells the future that are unfolding before our eyes.

Man is a unique being, why? Because God gave us dominion over all living beings; but He also gave us a unique ability to ‘Think’ and to have the Power of ‘FAITH’ by His GRACE. Romans 10: 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. And Faith comes by GRACE, as it is by His Grace that we can Hope in Faith knowing that He is God Eternal

Ephesians 2: 4  But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses (Sin), made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. They are no longer strangers and are reconciled to God, and fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

His Faithfulness:

1) That I was bought with a Price,

2) His Blood is the seal of Redemption,

3) I am His Holy Temple and I cannot come to the Father unless by Jesus my Lord and savior

Action:

Thank you for taking the time to read the Good News today... Welcome, we dedicate this site to bring the Good News of our Risen Lord, Jesus our Redeemer... Praise Him today as He is Faithful and come to Him boldly as He is waiting to receive you and give you His Peace. Jesus loves you...

The Lord will make level the mountain, and the winding roads will be straightened…

Isaiah 40:4

Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth; In Context |

Are you facing a mountain today?

Whatever it maybe, the faithfulness of the Lord is more than an assurance. His word is true, and when we delight ourselves in Him, He will grant us the desires of our hearts.

You may say, “I have prayed and made my requests, and still I have not received my request”

Sometimes our requests are not provided, why?...

James 4:3 New International Version (NIV)

When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

So, Faith + Motives x God’s Grace = Fulfilments.

Our Lord is Omniscient and Ever-Present, and nothing that we think, do or wish for will be granted when the intent is not for good.

The key word is… ‘Delight’

2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. In Context | Full Chapter |

So, delight yourself in the Lord… Psalm 37:4  This defined the difference of Need and Wants…

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

 Devotionals for Monday: January 7,2018

Is there Joy in your heart? Find it in the Lord, He is sharing His Joy with you, get it…

Joy is mentioned in the NIV Bible 244 times, and Joy is more than happiness that is temporary.

When we Rejoice in the Lord we have ‘JOY’ because it come with Peace. Without Peace there can’t be happiness. In Christ we have His Peace that surpasses all understanding.

What did the scripture mean by ‘a Peace that surpasses all understanding?’ It like being told that someone just stole your car, yet you are not in panic, because in faith you know that the Lord will provide a solution. Now if the car is stolen and your laptop is also gone, then this is something to think about, but, then there is nothing to worry about as your data is safe; because the laptop cannot be accessed without your facial recognition or your Password. The data is not lost as it is all backed up to the Cloud, and you can access all your files from your smartphone.

So, remain in peace and remain calm as the vehicle  is fully insured. Now, if it is not fully insured, rest assured that the partial coverage will pay enough to get a replacement vehicle. If it wasn’t insured, then you do have a problem, and this is where the rubber meets the road, and you really need the Lord’s help in resolving this. And, worse yet, your laptop is not locked, and your data is easily accessed, so take this as a message and make your Laptop password secure, and back up your data.

Remain calm, because the Lord ‘Restores’, and His Providence abounds in those who loves Him.

So, where’s the Good News here? It is founded on the Faithfulness of the Lord.  He always provides, and when you can count of the Faithfulness of the Lord because of His Grace, nothing can faze you. And in your heart will ring the melody of Joy.

In Christ the Best is Yet to Come… Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:13 NASB

Keep praying… 2 Thessalonians 1:11

To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power,

Casting your Pearls to Swine… Are we still doing this?

When Jesus said… Do not cast your pearls unto to swine, what did He mean?

Matthew 7:6

“Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus also said this…

Luke 9:5

And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shakeoff the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”

This one answer…

Do not waste good things on people who will not appreciate them. This proverb is adapted

from a saying of Jesus from the Gospels, “Cast not pearls before swine.” Jesus appears to be warning his disciples to preach only before receptive audiences.

Jesus did meet and dined with sinners, and He did not make any preference, He called a Tax Collector (Matthew) to follow Him, and He had a diverse group, a Physician (Luke) Peter and fishermen.

Saul who later became Paul was also chosen by Jesus

As The Lord said it is hard to kick against the pricks, what did He mean by this? The ‘Pricks’ was a prod, sort of an early version of what is used to control animal. Today the prod is a rod that produce an electric shock, used to control cattle.

In today’s society what is considered ‘Cool’? Living a Christian life, not participating in the latest fad, abstaining from the high-living lifestyle and just being a good citizen, you would consider this to be Cool, but, on the contrary, what is cool is to be featured in the society column and your photo in the limelight of ‘what’s happening around town’.

Many churches have dwindling attendances, especially the morning service, and the Cool-crowd are few, it is almost what Jesus had to do, use the Pricks to direct people to the call of the Lord.  looking back at how Paul was called to serve… one would say. Lord how could you choose a person like Paul? Actually, Paul was on his way to arrest more Christians to be persecuted. In Paul’s time persecution meant stoning a person to death.

Before Paul’s conversion, while Stephen was to be stoned to death, it was Paul holding the clothes of those stoning Stephen. What was amazing, while Stephen was dying, he looked up and saw Jesus, and asked the Lord to receive him, and to forgive those that were putting him to death.

Today, we have the Gospel and the pastoral letters and other teaching of one chosen by Jesus… Paul who wrote of his experience and unabashedly preached of Salvation through Jesus, Paul provided us with the assurance of our salvation in Christ. Thanks to the Damascus-Road experience that Paul had.

Paul was not a fanatic, he was a very methodical man, a strong believer in what he knew, and even as a persecutor of Christian, he was sincere to the cause. But, when he was converted as we say blinded by the light, he was not influenced on a superficial level, he was taken up into the heavens and many things were revealed to him.

2 Corinthians 12:2 New International Version (NIV)

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows.

Romans 8: 28-30, 31, 35-39

 28. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us.

35 Who will separate us from the love of ]Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Just as it is written, “For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we are in awe of Your unconditional love through Jesus our Redeemer. Lord Jesus we acknowledge Your Holy Presence as we gather knowing You are our Mediator. Jesus as the Word affirmed that nothing will be able to separate us from the love of the Father, which is in You Lord Jesus. Lord bless our Visitors and grant each and all Your Divine Blessings. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus. Amen.

There are many new versions of building the Tower of Babel, do not indulge.

Today there are 251 religious’ groups, each trying to gain followers. Just like the attempt of men to build a tower to heaven and to make a name for itself.

1,986 years ago, when Jesus’ ministry on earth we see Him preaching in the Temple, Jesus did not set up a church, as those who believed comprised the Body of Christ.  This is still the order, as all believers are Temples of the Living-God through the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:27

Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it.

Genesis 11 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Universal Language, Babel, Confusion

11 Now the whole earth used the same language and [b]the same words. 2 It came about as they journeyed east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar and [c]settled there. 3 They said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly.” And they used brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar. 4 They said, “Come, let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name, otherwise we will be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

5 The Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6 The Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of the whole earth; and they stopped building the city

In God’s Kingdom, there are no class system, there will be no Catholics, Presbyterians, Baptist, Methodist, Lutherans or others, only one class… Born-Again just as how Jesus told Nicodemus “You must be born-again”.

Remember to Journey to our Lord there is only one-way, no alternate route, no compromise, only one Criterion! To be Born-Again or the answer is “I do not know you” So, to ‘know of’ Jesus is not enough;  to ‘Know Him’ and follow Him is what He said.

2 Corinthians 2:14

But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.

Hope: (mentioned 121 times in the KJV and 159 times in the NIV Bibles.) 1 Corinthians 13:13

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

•     JOY:        Joy is mentioned 244 times in the Bible, considering the announcement of our Savior’s Birth… Luke 2:10

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

•    FAITH:     Romans 1:17

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

•  TRIUMPH:     Revelation 17:14

They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

EVENING:

Conclusion: Matthew 24:  3-30 The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age

3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we reflect on Your Crucifixion and Your Triumphant Resurrection, Lord we thank You for Your Graciousness and Your Love. We thank You for choosing to save us by Your Grace. Lord We give You our Praises and thank You Lord for this privilege and we ask Your blessings on our Visitors as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Are we drifting away from God as a nation? What are the consequences?

A nation without God is an imperiled country drifting like a ship without a rudder.

The question, is our nation drifting away from God? In many ways we may say yes, and in one way we can say; No… Christianity is thriving in many countries, it may seem like evil is winning, but sin is losing its grip on America, because God has broken every chain and Salvation in the Name of Jesus…  Christ is becoming the living Hope of many.

As we face the New Year, let us make Jesus Christ our Living Hope. Look to the Lord, let Jesus be the author and finisher of your Faith, combine your Faith + His Grace and let Jesus be the Catalyst in our lives that will solidify each of our lives sharing in His Kingdom.

Remember Jesus said… John 15:15

No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

What a privilege to be called a friend of the Most High? Not only did Jesus did this, He as God in One of the Father has set us apart, as David wrote… Psalm 4:3 But know that the Lord has set apart the godly man for Himself; The Lord hears when I call to Him. In Context | Full Chapter Just as how David said, each of us can say the same. Because of Jesus, we all became a child of God.

So, therefore, we are no longer a slave to sin as Jesus redeemed us, having been born again into God’s Family, we are now engrafted into His family, liberated from bondage. So, let us sing our Freedom, all because of Jesus our Savior, our Living Hope.

Let us go in Faith knowing that the noise and distractions of this world will never deter us from  focusing on our Lord as He is the Light of our lives. Therefore, be a shining messenger of His Good News, and enjoy the Blessings of the Lord, as we give our Lord Jesus preeminence in our lives, looking to that glorious day when we shall see Him as He is.

2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. In Context | Full Chapter |

So, delight yourself in the Lord… Psalm 37:4

Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. In Context

Prayer:

Father in Heaven we come in Jesus our Lord and Savior. Lord Jesus thank You for being our Mediator and by Your Righteousness that we are able to be in the Holy Presence of the Father. Father, today we affirm Your sovereignty, and in Jesus and in the Holy Spirit. Lord grant our Visitors Your Divine Providence as we go in Faith in You, we pray in Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory forever… Amen

99+1… The one missing is as important as the 99, are you that one?

Jesus spoke of the Shepherd and the lost sheep…  Matthew 18:12

Ninety-nine Plus One] “What do you think? If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go and search for the one that is straying? In Context |

There are many ‘Lost-Sheep’ that need to find their way home.

The Parallel to the ‘lost-sheep; is… Luke 15:11-32 [Full Chapter]

The Prodigal Son ] And He said, “A man had two sons. The younger of them said to his

between them. And not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together and went on a journey into a distant country, and there he squandered his estate with loose living.

14 Now when he had spent everything, a severe famine occurred in that country, and he began to be impoverished. 15 So he went and [e]hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would have gladly filled his stomach with the [f]pods that the swine were eating, and no one was giving anything to him.

17 But when he came to [g]his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have more than enough bread, but I am dying here with hunger! 18 I will get up and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven, and [h]in your sight; 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me as one of your hired men.”’ 20 So he got up and came to[i]his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and [j]embraced him and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

22 But the father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet; 23 and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; 24 for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’ And they began to celebrate.

Yes… we too are prodigal sons. Therefore, Jesus came to redeem us. Instead of receiving a robe and a ring we have received eternal life.

So as outlined by Jesus, the wayward son, came to his senses… 17 But when he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have more than enough bread, but I am dying here with hunger! 18 I will get up and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight; 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me as one of your hired men.”’ 20 So he got up and came to his father.

But the mercies of the father were declared… for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’ And they began to celebrate.

So, today as we are enlightened by the teaching of the Lord, let us stop and know that He is God. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+46:10&version=NIV

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord as we enter a new year, we come thanking You and acknowledge Your mercies as we are all like the prodigal son. Lord we thank You for Your Providence and Your divine redemption. We go in faith and to You Lord Jesus is the power and the glory… Amen

Devotionals for Tuesday: January 1st, 2019

God’s plan for your relief is to relieve you of the challenges of this world…

It’s NEW YEAR’S DAY – Have a Wonderful 2019

Affirming that God’s plan for our life…

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

As we look to this New Year with high optimism knowing that…

Romans 8:28

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Reflecting back on… Today in History December 31

1775   George Washington orders recruiting officers to accept free blacks into the army.

1852   The richest year of the gold rush ends with $81.3 million in gold produced.

Translating this to today’s dollar this is several billion dollars today.($267 Billion Dollars)

The inflation erosion of the monetary buying power is dramatic when you calculate a dollar over 166 years. But… On the other hand, the dramatic result of spreading the Gospel to 20 people each day and this 20- turn around and spread it to another 20 daily; and then as this multiple over a year the total number of people reached will be 144,000 (or 12.000 per month)

Just like a roaring river starts as a trickle into a stream and then merging into roaring river.

So, we ask the Lord to let this little engine of ours gather steam and roll like a freight train spreading the Good News. Each of our readers can join in and together layup treasures in Heaven, as all we do is for the Glory of the Lord.

Let us start 2019 by knowing that God endowed each of us as His Ambassadors and we are empowered to share the Good News of Christ’s Salvation…

Rejoice… you are a chosen one into a Royal Priesthood, set-aside and declared more than conquerors…

Thoughts for the day: He went to prepare a place for us, and; Jesus said He will return and those in Christ will be with Him forever

TEXT: 1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Commentary:

As we go through this day let’s give thanks for another week of opportunities. Just think that we can use our time to be a blessing to others.  When we look at life as a grand Easter-Egg hunt we can enjoy every step of the way, why? Because we know that somewhere out there is that basket of eggs, and we may be closing in on the catch; because our Lord has already planned all steps in our lives… His plan for us is already laid, all we have to do is in Faith Trust Him.   No Due Diligence needed here, because His Grace is given to us. Remember Grace is ‘Undeserved’, and it is by His Grace that we can have what Jesus offered…A Life and more Abundantly endowed by our Lord. We are His, as He purchased us at a price, and He lives in us.

So, let us do our due-diligence in charting our future. In Christ He is our Sovereign God in One of the Holy Trinity, we can trust Him, He is the incomparable Lord, and Jesus is our Redeemer.

  • There is one Mediator between man and God, and He is Christ Jesus
  • Jesus is Sovereign & Eternal
  • Our Lord Jesus was there from the beginning of it all
  • Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
  • We are made Joint-Heirs in Jesus to His Kingdom
  • We are saved by Grace and not of anything we do
  • His Blood of Atonement is the Seal of His Redemption
  • He went to prepare a place for us, and;
  • Jesus said He will return and those in Christ will be with Him forever

This is the reason why Jesus never owned a house here on earth.  Jesus said this earth was not His home.

Rejoice with Joy today knowing that the future is bright, because He Jesus is the Bright Morning Star, He is the Beginning and the End, and His ending is the beginning of what we refer to as; ‘The Best is yet to come’

Principle: Our Redeemer lives…  Rejoice for He chose us.  Have Victory in Christ Jesus He is Faithful forever.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord we Praise You and affirm that You our Redeemer lives, and we shall stand with You on that day Lord.  Lord we are privileged to be sought by You Lord as You called us and chose us to be Joint-Heirs in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus.  Lord bless this day as we go in faith for this new year of opportunities to present You Lord as our Eternal Sovereign God in One of the Father in Your Holy Trinity, Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Peace and as we thank You Lord for Your Providence in meeting our needs as You know what we have need of even before we ask. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Mark 11:24
