Topic: Time for a Tune-up, running on ‘E’” fill-up and enjoy…

To some of us ‘E’ means enough, but it reality it means empty…

It takes fuel to power the car, but it takes Grace + Faith + Redemption to get to that ‘Real Promise-Land’.

 God gave us His commandments to; ‘not do’; and the commandment ‘to do’…

TEXT:     Colossians 1: 12-18 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Focus:                    The epic event of God calling Moses to the mountain and giving the tablets with the commandments, an even that has never been repeated. As we look at the life of Moses, we can draw many parallels of the life of Jesus, these are presented below:

  • Moses never went to Canaan, but He was present at the Transfiguration of Jesus seen by the Disciples with Elijah.
  • Jesus was seen by many after the Resurrection, He spent 40 days with the Disciples before Ascending to heaven.

Consider this… no one, none ever has made such an impact on mankind, no religious leaders, and dead or alive ever came back from death. Only Christ Jesus was at the time when he came 2,014 years ago, He was no ‘new-kid on the block’ He was there from the beginning of it all. At the creation when God said…” Let there be Light” and there was Light, this commandment by God was made before the Sun was made. So the True-Light is Jesus the ‘Son” not the Sun.   Colossians 1: correctly described Jesus as our Preeminent God in One of the Father...

The Super-Natural Powers of God can be seen in each of our lives, where?  We are a unique, He ‘Made’ us and breathed life into us.  This is His Spirit, and because He (God) is Holy, so should we.  But Sin came into the world and Sin is a blemished that we are all inherited; was God surprised of mankind’s waywardness? No, this is why Jesus came and His coming was not a last minute decision by God. 700 years before Jesus was born Isaiah prophesied of Christ coming to be the Lamb of God…  Why is Jesus the Lamb of God? Just like the Lamb that was sacrificed on the night of the ‘Passover’ of the angel of death, the blood of the lamb protected the Israelite saving them. This is the forerunner of the coming “Passover’ by which the Blood of Christ will keep us safe on that day when the next ‘Passover’ comes… This is; ‘The Day of The Lord”

Therefore, we are redeemed by the Atoning Blood of Jesus our Lord and Savior.

           

Today as we face the challenges of this world, we need to be reminded that even the Apostle Paul experienced these challenges.  Paul who was chosen to be a ‘Vessel’ for Jesus, he was made a learned messenger of the Gospel, Paul was taken up to heaven and received specific instructions and he became a true vessel for Christ. Paul the author of over 50% of the New Testament, he also faced what we all face today.

All of what we face today, the deceits, the bribery, the theft, the abuse of predatory lending (High Usurious rates) and not to mention, Murder, rapes, human exploitation, these are all written about in Exodus, and the teaching from God covered all these traits of the human race. Read Exodus, 19, 20, 21, 22 & 23… it is amazing that nothing really changed from back then when Moses was on the mountain receiving the Word of God.

The only Major change was and is the Gospel of Jesus’ salvation… Praise Him for His Wonderful Gift, a Priceless Gift that we cannot buy or earn… Ephesians 2:8-9New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Coming to the Lord:

We urge you to come to Christ today and experience His Divine Grace, and the Peace that he offers, as Jesus said…

Good News -His Faithfulness: The Word Becomes Flesh

John 1: 14-18

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’”

16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

The ‘WORD’ which is as spoken by God, when He said…Let there be Light; Jesus is the Light of the World (The world being us His Creation) Earth is just a planet, just like our bodies are just a ‘Tent’ housing the Spirit from God, as it is said we are a living—temple. We are made in His likeness and being in the Likeness of God, we never die, we are eternal, as we read when Jesus said… Father receive my Spirit, and as Stephen said Jesus receive my Spirit.  We will in Spirit transition to a place that is eternal.

EVENING:

And this is a choice that we must make… so the question is choosing whom you will serve.

True and False Disciples- 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Brothers and Sisters, Friends let us come to Christ and in simple Faith like a Child that trust the parents, let us be still and know that Jesus our Redeemer is God, let us Praise Him for His Love, His Grace and His Redemption that gave us Life-everlasting.  Let us also know that Jesus is the same Yesterday and Today and He is eternal and we can come to Him boldly as He said… “Come unto me” as Children of the Most-High, we can be wise and lay up treasures in Heaven, and build on the ROCK. Because He is the Solid Rock.

Prayer: Father in Heaven we thank you in Jesus our Lord and savior who Redeemed us and placed us on the Solid Rock. Lord today be with us and our Visitors and grant us Your Divine Grace as we go with Your Peace. Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness as we ask Your Blessings and Your Providence on our Visitors and us all. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, we Pray and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Topic:  A Gold bar for a glass of water…

A couple driving through the desert saw a man dying of thirst, and he held out a gold-bar offering it for a drink of water, and the woman said to her friend, look he is offering this piece of metal in exchange for water…. Maybe he thinks it is of some value.

Jesus told of the rich man and the beggar…

Luke 16:

The Rich Man and Lazarus

19 “There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. 20 But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate,21 desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, the dogs came and licked his sores. 

22 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.

 23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Today Jesus is calling… even in the last book of the Bible... Revelation, Jesus is calling you.  Why? He created you and He loves you and He wants you to be with Him forever.

Revelation 2: 16- 17

16 Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.

Revelation 3: 19-21

 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore, be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Devotional: Heavenly Father because no one has even seen You except Your Son, and Jesus my Lord we are privileged to be in Your Holy presence by Your Holy Spirit. It is with Awe that we can experience the Power of Your Glory and Your Holiness.  Lord we give You Preeminence in all things we go in You Holy Name Lord Jesus we Praise You and go with Your Peace that surpasses all our understanding… Amen.

His Faithfulness

Coming to the Lord… The national day of Prayers is a day that the nation sets aside for Prayers to God… To wait to come to our Lord on a ‘national’ day it is allowing our people to go with differed fellowship.  We need our Lord and we need Him every Hour, because in Jesus we have Victory.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we Praise You for Your Majestic power knowing that You are the Incarnate God of Your Holy Spirit. Lord we are in awe of the vastness of the universe that You have made and given mankind domination over Your Creation. Lord we had such privilege that was squandered in the garden of Eden, but Lord Your Un-Conditional love for us You Mercies we have and Your Redemption made available to us all, we thank You for your Grace and we accept Your Gift of Salvation in You Lord. Boasting About Tomorrow

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Devotionals for Thursday July 28th, 2016

Topic:  Better than Gold and it is never on Sale, it is Free, it’s even got your name on it. Claim it now.

Focus: What is better than Gold?  Maybe a Glass of Water to a man dying in the middle of the Sahara Desert.

Commentary:  The Streets of Heaven is paved with Gold like a reflecting mirror, Why? Because in God’s Kingdom nothing will be man-made, and man has not found a way to make Gold.

There many idiom relating to Gold… All that glitters are not gold, the person with the gold makes the golden rules. Then there are stories about Gold, here’s one… A Banker stole some Gold-Bullions from the bank, he was sentenced to prison but he never relinquished the gold. The day he was released from the prison, he called a taxi, and told the cab driver to take him to a phone booth, he dialed the operator and the operator said…” please deposit a million dollars to continue this call”. Unfortunately, what he stole was just about a million dollars. So in the end he had just enough to make that one call.


What’s better than Gold? Something that you cannot buy, earn or steal it. It cannot be handed down by your parents, nor can your best friend give this to you.  For many Christians reading this they will say… I already know this so why are we talking about this?  Because Jesus gave us all His great commission. And this includes you, me and everyone.

What is His Great-Commission?

Preeminence of Christ

Reconciled in Christ

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight

Let us Praise the Lord... as He is Mighty to Save and He reigns supreme and He is our Redeemer who Lives, and on that day we shall all See Him as he is.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of our Father and His Holy Spirit, Lord we come this day to Praise You and lift You up before all knowing that you Lord sits on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us to the Father. Lord We seek Your Divine Blessings today and Your Favors upon us all including our Visitors to this Good News Site. Today Lord as we proclaim You as our Supreme God, we place all things in Your Holy Hands Lord... Lord in You we have Victory we come and in Faith we go forward. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Topic:  Making it on your own…

You have the ability to choose which way you want to go. You have to believe great things are going to happen in your life. Do everything you can - prepare, pray and achieve - to make it happen. Ben Carson

For sure ‘Great things are going to happen’ because Jesus said so…

As we read the news events of the day one could wish for the simpler times of life, when there was less stress, less strife.  Our world is a world of a constant battle and there are really no simpler times.

The battle started in the Garden of Eden when Eve was tempted by the serpent.  And this ‘serpent’ was the devil.  Now we may wonder why did God allow the devil to enter the Garden of Eden?  Because Adam and Eve were made in the likeness of God, created with ‘Free-will’ and the devil is always roaming seeking those he can destroy.  The devil was cast out of heaven and even now this evil one is lurking seeking to tempt you and me.

Adam and Eve were not robots and so are we… God gave Moses the Commandments and the purpose of this is to define Right from wrong.  We are given the freedom of choice.

God could have stopped the devil from entering the garden, God trusted Adam, and even after they went against God’s command of ‘Not to eat of the tree’ God was not surprised, God knew beforehand that His creation of Man was good… but not yet ‘Perfect’

We are made ‘Perfect’ in Christ… not by our own ability, but by His Grace and through His Redemption we are cleansed as we are covered by His Divine Blood, and through His Resurrection we are made Perfect.

Jesus is our Redeemer, and it is only through Him that we can come to God the Father. Just as when Adam and Eve sinned, Jesus who was there in the Garden and He did this…Genesis 3: 21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

The killing of the animal from which God made the coats of skin for Adam and Eve, was the first step of what was to come.  Jesus who was there from the beginning, also came 2016 years ago to repeat this process for all mankind. When He went to the Cross and gave Himself for us so that we too would be ‘Covered’ by His Blood, and He Resurrected three days after the crucifixion to an everlasting life, so that we too who accepted Him will have life more abundantly.

John 10:10 New King James Version (NKJV) The Word of Jesus…

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

So the focus today of “Making it on your Own’ we can to a certain extent, but our ability is limited and on our own it leads only to a loop without ending. In Christ we are shown the way through Him as He provided the only way to His Kingdom.

Remember Jesus said…” I am NOT of this world” and He also said…

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

14 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[b] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Our Lord said that when we repent of our sins, He will not just mitigate them, He will cancel them and He will forget them. let us accept our Lord’s Word of ‘Removal’ and we too must also forget and move forward in Joy knowing that we are ‘Forgiven’ and not to re-live the sin as the evil one would like to repeat the Temptation in our memory as ‘his bondage of sin’.  We need to thank our Lord for the infinite statement of HIS Love, His forgiveness and above all His Redemption by His Grace.

Hebrews 4: 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need

 

Conclusion:

Earthly: Man’s wisdom is limited, we can’t make water, we can only treat it, we can catch it from condensation and say we are making water but we are not, we are still feeble and without the Heavenly Wisdom coming from our Lord Jesus, knowing that He paid it all… we would have no hope, so Heavenly Wisdom is by Faith in Jesus The Christ our Redeemer

Focus: Being aware that I am a sinner is not enough; I cannot be a good person by works

Thoughts for the day: Who is your witness to your faith?  Do you walk the walk? How much piety do we express in our lives?

Text: Hebrews 12:1

[The Race of Faith] Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

Commentary: Cloud is the new computer jargon as cloud seems endless and can be seen everywhere.  Privacy is a great concern to many. The Bible said we are surrounded by a great crowd (cloud) of witnesses so we are to lay aside the sin which will weigh us down, we are to run the race set before us with endurance. We are to keep looking at the Cross as the Cross is the crossroad that leads to Jesus.

Philippians 2:15 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world.

The Bible says, "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us" (1 John 1:8).

Principle: Good to know - before all things Our Father, His Son and His Holy Spirit were there. The Holy Trinity was there

The Bible says the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God the Father created all things by Jesus Christ. "For by him"--that is, by Jesus Christ--"all things were created" (Colossians 1:16).

Principle:  Humbleness and Meekness shall triumph over pride and the boastful ones will be debased.  Pride debases those that boast and put their trust in money and earthly things….

Topic: It is a wonderful day… a day to be thankful. Inspite of any challenges, give thanks to the Lord for the Best is yet to come.

Focus: Lord,  what a difference a day makes... Today let us Praise our Lord for He is Worthy.

We are set apart… The Good News for today are:

  “The battle is not yours, but God’s. … stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.”

“Do not be terrified. … The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you” (Deuteronomy 1:29-31).

“All this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47).

“If God is for us, who can be against us? … In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Romans 8:31, 37).

Just as Paul prayed for the Ephesians...  this prayer is applicable to us all today...

Ephesians 3: 14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,

When you have had great deliverances out of troubles and turmoil, remember to say…, "I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." The Model Prayer

Background…. The Text is from Luke… Luke was a Gentile and a physician, and also a missionary that worked alongside Paul.  The time of Luke’s writing was between 60 to 80 years after the birth of Christ. Luke was a witness and lived during the Resurrection of Jesus who was crucified at age 33, therefore the events recorded by Luke are authentic and reliable and factual.

Luke 11

11 Now it came to pass, as He (Jesus) was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.”

2 So He (Jesus) said to them, “When you pray, say:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come.

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

4 And forgive us our sins,

For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.

Commentary:  Back in Sunday’s school  the version of our Lord’s Prayer, ended with:  For Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and Glory…Forever, AMEN

Only from our Lord can we have an Everlasting Peace. Real Peace by anyone on earth is still limited to a finite time.  So we call this a ‘Superficial’ Peace as it can only last till be face that fateful day; but, should we have FAITH in our Lord and accept His Covenant of His Salvation, then we will have Peace here and Peace in a place of Splendor, which will be an Infinite Everlasting Peace & Joy, fully sanctified in the presence of our Lord Jesus. What a privilege we have in Him, as Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and in Faith we can trust HIM.

Conclusion:  Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Topic: Rendering harm for a cause is wrong, try Peace & Goodwill towards your enemies…

The eye for an eye is an endless battle, and no one wins.

People, Nations and everyone fight for a cause.  What is the real ‘Purpose’ behind the confrontation? In many instances the root cause is founded on lack of communication. 

The news of the day around the world are about war, terrorism, racial divide and issues that are mostly founded on greed, lack of respect and the absence of God.   Then there is ‘Religious’ war, and in most instances these confrontations are done by high-jacking the religion.  For this reason, it should be made known that ‘Religion’ is defined as; the belief in a god or in a group of gods.: an organized system of beliefs, ceremonies, and rules used to worship a god or a group of gods.: an interest, a belief, or an activity that is very important to a person or group. (from Merriam-Webster)

The only ‘True’ belief we possess… 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 New King James Version (NKJV)

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 

17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

So all the wars, confrontation, eye for an eye and atrocities for whatever reason is all for nothing…

We are all losing valuable time fighting over what we will never own, as all things will past, and the passing is either by the passing of the people fighting or ultimately when the Day of the Lord comes.

The Day of the Lord] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary: The Apostle Paul we would say is a man called to be a Saint. He served our Lord faithfully, yet Paul said…  Romans 7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 

Here we see Paul writing to the Romans about his personal experience, we all face the challenges of what Paul mentioned…

Covetousness, the deception of sins, sin over-powering the commandment that causes death, but Paul went on and said…24

What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Just like Paul we have the deliverance through Jesus Christ our Lord… Therefore, we can take these personal Steps to Victory:

1.             Communicate with Jesus

2.            Seek His Divine Guidance

3.             Absorb His messages

4.            Follow His Instructions

5.             Serve Him

6.            Resist the Evil forces

7.              Yield to the Holy Spirit

8.            Trust the Lord

9.            He will provide a way and a solution

10.          His Way is always the Right-Way

11.           What our Lord is giving you is not a temporary answer

12.          His Answers is Eternal, and it will be with you forever

13.           He will never let me be ashamed in Trusting Him

14.          He will provide all of my Needs according to His Riches

15.           His Riches is not this world; His riches are our Faith in Him

16.          He loves us so much He Even Died for me

17.           He provided a Way that I can come to Him

18.          Without His Forgiveness and His Grace I cannot come into His Kingdom

19.          His Redemption is not a ritual; His Redemption is a Sacrifice for my Sins

20.          The Good News is that He died to save Sinners like me and you

Topic:  In pursuit of Happiness… Find Joy that is better and lasting.  Joy is from Rejoicing, Rejoicing in the Lord.

What do you have that you can have lasting Joy? To look at life, we need to know that there is a ‘Life’ beyond this world. Why? Because Jesus said…” I am not of this world” and where He went He will return and get you so that where He is you will be also. So choosing something to be delighted in that gives happiness why not choose Joy that is lasting; and in Him we can Rejoice.  Rejoice is like repeating the Joy.

Repeat the sounding Joy… found in the favorite Christmas Carol;

Joy to the World, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,

Topic:  Don’t sweat it…  it is already done, but you do not know it yet.

The idiom of ‘Don’t sweat it’ a slang that is widely used… Jesus said…” Not to worry”

Most things we worry about we cannot change, and most things that we face were already set in motion.

One of the most profound statement ever was…

Jesus said… Mark 11:24 New King James Version (NKJV)

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Asking when we pray (in His Name) Jesus assured us that whatever we asked we must believe that we have received it, and we will have it.

It is not a make-believe situation He said...”and you will have it’; This means that we will physically ‘Have’ it.

We must remember our Lord is the master of Time, and He is the ‘Just-in-Time’ provider.

So to sweat-it we are worrying unnecessarily, because we must remember… He thankful in all circumstances,

Philippians 4: Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and ifthere is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Do Not Worry

Conclusion:

God compels no one to be converted and to accept Salvation in Jesus, but Jesus reveals Himself to everyone at least two or three times in an attempt to hold back his soul from the slippery slope that refused to follow God’s instruction, just like Jonah’s refusal of going to Nineveh.

Right now He is calling, calling us to come home to Him. In Faith we can have many of His mysteries revealed to us by trusting in Him.  Remember if we knew everything we would be God… but He made us a little lower than Him as He is the Messiah… The King of all kings and Lord of lords.

Prayer:

Father we are privileged to come into Your Holy presence through Jesus our Lord and Savior. Lord Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God, we look to You as You have paid it all and by Your Grace we can live in Victory. Lord today we ask Your divine guidance and Your Blessings to us all and for our Visitors to this Website, Lord we go in Faith knowing that all things are possible through You and for those standing in Your presence we join in acknowledging Your Grace, Your love and Your Salvation fulfilling all that we need Lord. Topic: Un-Claimed Gifts… The deed in the Bible.  Your Gift is provided open the Book and find it…

Focus: Do you like surprises? A gift is not a gift if you expect it to be a ‘given’ to receive the family homestead left by your parents, it is sort of a gift, but it is really an ‘inheritance’.  A gift is something that you are not entitled to, but may be granted because you did ‘ask’ for it.

We are repeating the story of the son that was given the gift that he wanted, but his arrogance did not allow him to find it.

We wrote about the story of the son that was asked by his dad, “Son what would you like for your graduation?” he replied, I liked the car I have seen in the dealer’s showroom, came graduation day and he came home to find a Bible with a ribbon, but no car in the driveway he reacted by walking out and leaving home. Several years later he was called home as his Dad was gravely ill, he arrived home too late. Later in the afternoon he wondered into his old bedroom and (everything was still intact just as the day he left home) he saw the Bible, picked it up and opened it, inside was a card and a gift certificate to the car that he had chosen.  This is a tragic story for a young man that missed the love of his father.

Many like this young man are doing the same to our Heavenly Father, as His “Gift” is in Jesus His Son that we often take for granted…  The analogy of the above, is; Jesus came so that we may have life and more abundantly.  We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping and the rest of the time awake, we probably spend the remaining 2/3 learning if we are students, or working if we are adults.  The similarity to the unfortunate story of the young man that missed his dad’s love; and a lifetime of friendship lost due to ‘arrogance’ but in our case, it may be the pursuit of making a living, or simply just existing. 

Jesus said…

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Just like the Youngman that passed on the Bible, many are passing on receiving Jesus who said in Him there is Life Everlasting, and even now while we journey home to His Kingdom, He can give us an Abundant life while we face the challenges of this world...

Not having the trust of your child would be a low point in anyone’s life, so are we placing our trust in our Father Creator?  If not consider the feeling that you would have not having the trust of your kids, and our Heavenly Father’s feeling of you not trusting HIM. So today our focus is on the ‘Giver’ and not what is given, but the Gift from our Lord is Priceless and Eternal, because He want us to have an Eternal-Life with Him. The text above said it all… and He will give you His providence, Delight yourself in the Lord, commit your ways to Him and Trust Him and He will do it.

4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

His Faithfulness:

Jesus is our Protector, our Redeemer, our Intercessor and above all He Redeemed us by His Blood.  Why is ‘Blood’ important in a Sacrifice? Because … Hebrews 9:7

But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.

Blood is mentioned in the bible 447 time in the KJV. Blood is life giving…

Action:

No one can come to the Father unless they come to Jesus… You could be the wealthiest person on planet Earth, or just an ordinary person (of which most us are) we will concur on what King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes.  Solomon talked about the illustration of Vanity, the theme was; the Vanity of striving after pleasure.

After great wealth, wisdom and even humility; Solomon’s confirmation that wealth does not satisfy, He also taught that Wealth brings difficulties, and his focused on the strength of Wisdom. Solomon preached about God who predetermines the condition of life, and that God Judges all.

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

Our focus today was... to focus on the Giver and not on what is Given. 

Our Lord who gives us Life-Eternal life through His Grace (Grace is something that is ‘UN-Merited’) and by Faith … (Faith is believing in Something that is UN-Seen) by these two factors that are to the non-believers ‘Intangibles’, but our Divine God only provides His Blessings through these Heavenly Factors.  Therefore, without Faith there is no power, but when we combine His Grace and our Faith we are empowered by His Holy Spirit.

To experience this Power of Abundant Life, one must come to Him and accept His Priceless Gift of His Redemption, to be Redeemed. We must acknowledge that we cannot go to His Kingdom without His Sanctification by His Blood.

Conclusion:

Happiness is within our Heart, it is not in our Wallet, The Grace of God is more resourceful that the fattest wallet or the largest bank account. 

1) Knowing that God loves us all, meaning we must be rooted in Love.

2) To remain un-shaken remain strong by the Established Love.

3) To be rooted and established in Christ’s Love,

4) To be filled with God’s Holy Spirit,

5) That one must be satisfied and complete in Him,

6) To move towards the full purpose that God intended for us,

7) Let the Power of His Holy Spirit work in us

To know Christ… Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Topic: The sins of ‘Pride’: Pride is not a sin, but the extreme of Pride leads to destruction…

Many slogans by municipalities and service organizations uses…” Serving with Pride” or ‘Made in the USA with Pride’

And in some instances one would say I am ‘Proud’ to be an American.  A newly licensed driver could say “I am proud to be a licensed driver’ but the real terminology is not Proud, but, “I am privileged to be a licensed driver.

In the Drivers’ handbook, it clearly states that driving is a ‘Privilege’, and when one receives over a certain Points for traffic violations, this privilege is taken away. So driving is a privilege and not a ‘given-right’ that is yours to keep.

We have another ‘Privilege’ that is the ultimate of all that we can ever receive, and this is the Grace of God.  

Sometimes the use of ‘Grace’ is confused with Redemption…

Grace is an ‘Un-Earned’ gift, and Grace is for a specific period of time.  Redemption means it is ‘Recovered’ and it is paid-in-Full’.

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, In Context | Full Chapter 

So Grace Saved you to this date when you are enlightened of God’s Salvation, and from here on ‘In-Faith’ by God’s mercies you come and in faith asked to be forgiven and by God’s Gift He gives you His Eternal Salvation.

We must acknowledge that it is not by anything we do, we cannot purchase His Gift, we cannot earn it, we cannot receive it from anyone else, it is only from God, because it is the Gift from God…

We do not have to do anything, nothing, but in Faith receive His Gift of Salvation.

So being ‘Redeemed’ we are now Recovered meaning we are covered by His Redeeming-Blood, and you are now a Child of God.   Being a child of the Most-High makes you a special person, set-aside and called to be a member of His Royal Priesthood.

Walking in the light…

Devotionals for Sunday July 17, 2106

Topic: Praise The Lord for He is Worthy…

Focus:  He is Worthy not because of us, not because he knows our needs, not because what you needed and provided His Blessings… He is Worthy because he is God!

Today…  God’s Unconditional loves continues… But there is an end, and this is “Grace”; Grace is an undeserved gift.  It is a ‘Limited-Time’ offer.  It is a grant with one Condition that we accept His Gift.  What is His Gift? This is His Redemption, it is freely given, but you must ask for it.  It is not received by default; you are not born with a voucher that you can redeemed in exchange for God’s Redemption.

So why do we need to be redeemed? Because we can never be good-enough to enter His Kingdom.  If this was so, then Christ would have died in vain. 

Commentary: When someone says… “God I have a Plan and I want you to get behind it”, what is he saying? He is telling God to be his worker? Or to be his helper?  For one, God is not your worker or your helper, He is Your GOD… and he is the Architect/designer, you are the worker and He is the ‘provider’ and He is the Supreme Preeminent One. 

Jesus came, He taught, He fellowshipped and through His Ministry endowed us with His teachings, and He revealed His Kingdom and above all He Redeemed us.   Our Lord Jesus Paid-It-All, He absorbed the abuses, the insults and the Pain and Died for us, yet He was God among us. 

Romans 3:10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; In Context | Full Chapter |

But the over-riding fact is while we are all classified and ‘Non-Righteous’ it is only by the Grace of our Lord and by His Righteousness we are able to come to the Father. And our Almighty God through our Sole-Mediator Jesus our Redeemer we are presented to The Father.

Knowing that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus…

Romans 8: Free from Indwelling Sin

8: 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Devotional: 

As we rejoice in the Eternal-Promise of our Lord as affirmed in Ephesians 2: 8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

We once wrote that it is a good thing that no one could work their way to Heaven… and if this could be done, then Christ died in vain, and also things would be no different if anyone could get there on their own, in fact it would be a place that we would prefer not to be. Can you imagine how someone could sit around and brag about how good he was so that he was let into heaven? We have enough of this here, so thankfully, in God’s Kingdom, there will be no ‘Super-Christians’ no elite team, But God is His Divine Omniscient know our heart and He will reward us all, and His reward is His Holy Presence among us.

Coming to the Lord:

Again we must look at our Lord Jesus who is Omniscient, Omnipresence and Omnipotent; and He hears our prayers all the billions praying all at once, yet He will hear you, he will know your thought even before you think it.

Good News -His Faithfulness:

God in His infinite wisdom prepared us all for that day that is known as “the day of the Lord” … Just as how God prepared Moses to preserve the records of the events… The most epic-events ever would have been the mountain being smoldering when God spoke to Moses, and the most frightening event would have been the Three-Hours of darkness that came over earth at the time of His Crucifixion. 

The ‘Darkness’ deployed upon the Egyptian is a forerunner of the depth of darkness that man will experience when they are separated from God forever. Darkness so thick that nothing is visible…

EVENING:

As today as we are in ‘Training’ just like the 40 year’s journey of the Israelite to Canaan, we are sojourning through this earth which we can have His Grace and His Divine Providence till that day when Jesus will be there to say… Welcome home.  So let us Love Him and by His Grace He will transform us that we are ‘Spiritually’ connected to Him and not ritually coming to Him.  Come as you are, He seeks nothing from you, He wants to Bless you with an abundant life and give you His Peace.

Praise our Lord that we have the Gospels, Moses nor the 11 Disciples did not yet have the Good News of Jesus Crucifixion and Resurrection while they were with Him.  But they all saw the Omniscient of our Lord as Jesus spent Forty days with them before He ascended to Heaven.

We also have the Holy Spirit that Jesus said would be our ‘Comforter’ and as we go today we can Praise our Living Eternal Sovereign Savior who has endowed us with his Grace and made us ‘Joint-Heirs’ in Him to His Kingdom.

Topic: Finding our way, the Botanical Maze and the hole made by a confused person…

In many major cities there are botanical gardens, and most gardens feature a Maze which is a matrix of trails like a puzzle.  While on a visit it appears that someone had some difficulties finding his way out, so he trimmed a hole in the shrubbery to escape.

PEACE….

  PEACE; A state of tranquility that we all desire.  How can we have peace?  The Peace of man is as good as an Ice Cube on Interstate 95 on a Hot-Summer day.

 Only from our Lord can we have an Everlasting Peace. Real Peace by anyone on earth is still limited to a finite time.  So we call this a ‘Superficial’ Peace as it can only last till be face that fateful day; but, should we have FAITH in our Lord and accept His Covenant of His Salvation, then we will have Peace here and Peace in a place of Splendor, which will be an Infinite Everlasting Peace & Joy, fully sanctified in the presence of our Lord Jesus. What a privilege we have in Him, as Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and in Faith we can trust HIM.

Conclusion:

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All

Focus: Do you or us have what it takes to be saved from God’s wrath? NO… so how can one be saved? Read more…

Because of Jesus…

He is not the Third Party By-Stander; He is in the midst of your conversation with the Father…

So ending your prayers by abruptly saying… In Jesus name we pray, is like ignoring the presence of Jesus as he is the one that presents us to the father, why, Father God will not tolerate Sinners, and we are all known by this common name; ‘Sinner’

Remember our Lord Jesus is not a by-stander He is in our midst, so when we pray we are thanking Him and giving Him the Glory, not the traditional… Third-party inference of suddenly saying “In Jesus Name we pray” why? Because we are in contact with Jesus in our prayers and He is not absent, because He said so… He said; He is in our Midst where one or more are gathered, even in a one-to-one Prayer to the Father, He is present, why, He said “NO ONE” comes to the Father unless through Him… So to have a prayer without recognizing Jesus’ presence you are not really ‘represented’ by the Righteousness of our Savior Jesus, as only by His Grace we are saved. 

Every Time… Jesus is there, so ending the prayers by saying… to You my Jesus is the power and the glory and in your Holy Name I dedicate this prayer to the Father by Your Graciousness and in the Holy Trinity… Amen.

He is the Great ‘I AM’

Who is Jesus?

He is my Redeemer and He is the Great “I AM”

His return will be His 3rd Visit.  He was here before when it all began… God said “Let there be Light” and there was Light and this Light was Jesus.

Jesus/Yeshua came before the Sun was installed on the 4th day.

His 2nd Visit was when He came as God-Emanuel, He fulfilled His Mission of Redeeming us by His Sacrifice.

He gave us His irreversible and irrevocable Gift.

This ‘Priceless’ Gift I accept and this is the Grace of Salvation from our Lord Jesus. By this I can say my Redeemer Lives!

His third and final visit will be on that day known as the ‘Day of The Lord’

Let us all look to that glorious day when the trumpet will sound, and His coming will be seen from the East to the West.

No, our Lord is not ‘too busy’ to return as some say where is He and I have been hearing of Christ’s coming and when will this be?  Our Lord is Gracious and He wants all to be saved, and His time is not ours, so just Trust Him and remain in Faith knowing that he said He will never leave you nor forsake you.  Praise Him come to Him and know that our Lord Jesus is always there for you.

While we are a ‘Good News’ site we have to remind ourselves that things aren’t getting better around the world.  Each government around the world operates by a ‘fragile’ economy, and families are even more vulnerable to the actions of their government. As today as we look at ‘finding our way to safe-harbors’, where is life’s safe-harbor?  Are we in a world of challenges that is parallel to the Israelites in their 40-year journey to Canaan?

The GOOD NEWS… Our journey is already mapped out and all we have to do is Ask for it to be revealed to us.

Remember we still live in the same world that early men were building a tower to heaven… Man’s early example of their attempt to reach the heavens then with their brick tower known as the Tower of Babel; demonstrate that our current endeavors are still through radio telescopes, and the newest telescope to be deployed by NASA the James Webb Space Telescope will still be gathering information by Infrared rays, and men are still ‘groping in the dark’.

The function of a virtual GPS sometime takes you on a longer route and God’s Kingdom is not on Man’s GPS.

 

The real “GPS” stands for “God’s Positive Salvation” it could be just as well be. ‘God’s Positive Solution’ but sometimes ‘Solution’ can be temporary… so we will explore the meaning of HIS ‘Salvation’… It means that God forgives our Sins when we accept the Priceless Gift and it is Permanent; it cannot be taken away, nor can we lose it. 

Because God knows that we are Sinners and we can’t help ourselves. You say that it can never be taken away nor can we lose it, how about when a recipient continues in his sinful way.  Here is what to expect, when we come and accept The Priceless Gift by acknowledging Him as our Redeemer, we are made in a new person, you say, I do not want to be any other person but myself, this is a choice, but   by coming to HIM, there will be a spiritual change that will remove the scales from our eyes and to allow us to see and receive the Blessings.

This is great news, that such a Priceless Gift is made available to everyone, but there’s also a time limit, as we are under HIS Grace, and Grace is something un-earned and can be pulled at any time. This is why the Lord said; ‘Today is the day of salvation’ now the bad news… if we do not accept this the future will be without that Life-everlasting that Jesus paid for at Calvary…

The time limit is clearly stated in the Bible… No one knows the time of our Lord’s return, only the Father, because our Lord Jesus is the ‘GREAT I AM’ and HE loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for us, as said in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17: For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 

God’s word above refers to the World, but in Verse 18, we will observe that the theme here was “Whoever”

 John 3:18: Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Because He said that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God, this is why His Redemption is a Priceless Gift, and cannot be purchased or earned.  It is also noted that the key word in the foregoing statement, was “ALL” therefore it means that no one can meet HIS Criterion of being Sinless…. To make us eligible to be redeemed, He died in our place and rose triumphantly, and by this we became eligible though HIS resurrection and He offers this today as His Priceless Gift of Salvation.

Focus:   Rejoice… you are a chosen one into a Royal Priesthood, set-aside and declared more than conquerors…

Thoughts for the day: He went to prepare a place for us, and; Jesus said He will return and those in Christ will be with Him forever

TEXT: 1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Commentary:

As we go through this day let’s give thanks for another week of opportunities. Just think that we can use our time to be a blessing to others.  When we look at life as a grand Easter-Egg hunt we can enjoy every step of the way, why? Because we know that somewhere out there is that basket of eggs, and we may be closing in on the catch; because our Lord has already planned all steps in our lives… His plan for us is already laid, all we have to do is in Faith Trust Him.   No Due Diligence needed here, because His Grace is given to us. Remember Grace is ‘Undeserved’ and it is by His Grace that we can have what Jesus offered…A Life and more Abundantly endowed by our Lord. We are His, as He purchased us at a price, and He lives in us.

So let us do our due-diligence in charting our future. In Christ He is our Sovereign God in One of the Holy Trinity, we can trust Him, He is the incomparable Lord, and Jesus is our Redeemer.

  • There is one Mediator between man and God, and He is Christ Jesus
  • Jesus is Sovereign & Eternal
  • Our Lord Jesus was there from the beginning of it all
  • Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
  • We are made Joint-Heirs in Jesus to His Kingdom
  • We are saved by Grace and not of anything we do
  • His Blood of Atonement is the Seal of His Redemption
  • He went to prepare a place for us, and;
  • Jesus said He will return and those in Christ will be with Him forever

This is the reason why Jesus never owned a house here on earth.  Jesus said this earth was not His home.

Rejoice with Joy today knowing that the future is bright, because He Jesus is the Bright Morning Star, He is the Beginning and the End, and His ending is the beginning of what we refer to as; ‘The Best is yet to come’

Principle: Our Redeemer lives…  Rejoice for He chose us.  Have Victory in Christ Jesus He is Faithful forever.

Come to the Lord… We read below Jesus’ prayer to His Father and Jesus is affirming His presence before the world began…  In Jesus we have the same privilege of coming to our Father through Jesus.

Reading the above text, we give thanks to our Lord for His Blood of Atonement that was shed for us.  Thanks be to God that the Resurrection of Jesus conquered death. (Death being the eternal separation from God in a place of eternal suffering), but through His Blood, we are saved and those in Christ will be in a place of splendor. Because His Word said, there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

Focus: We can never be ‘good-enough’ and we can never purchase a ‘Pardon’ if you do, then it is a ‘bribe’

Real pardons are granted not bought.  Confession + Repentance = Reprieve by Forgiveness. This formula of ‘C+R=R x F’ can only come from the heart.   When Jesus said “your sins are forgiven”

Mark 2:5

When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” In Context | Full Chapter 

Observe… Jesus said saw their ‘Faith’, and without faith you cannot please God.

Hebrews 11:6 [Full Chapter]

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

The healing of the paralyzed person was only possible through Jesus’ Divine Grace, but it took Faith coming from the one that sought Jesus’ help.

So today as we face any bleak-moment in our lives, while asking, let us in faith believe that we have received the help of the Lord.

Mark 11: 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Sometimes our requests are not provided, why?...

So Faith + Motives x God’s Grace = Fulfilments.

Our Lord is Omniscient and Ever-Present, and nothing that we think, do or wish for will be granted when the intent is not for good.

The topic today is…We can never be good-enough, and this ‘High-Standard; was set by God…

So our inability to achieve goodness was made possible through the Redemption that Jesus did for you and me.

If you believe that you are good and is able to please God without accepting His Son Jesus, then your belief is founded on a false hope.  Secondly, your belief in your own righteousness is denying yourself from claiming what God endowed for you.

So stop denying yourself of God’s wonderful gift to you… Shake-off the fetters, break the chains and step forward knowing that Jesus the King is coming and you are a member of His Royal Family.

Topic: Jesus told all to His Disciples and declared them to be His Friends, and He also revealed it all to you and us…

Focus:  Are we listening? Did we hear? Can you recall what Jesus revealed? Did you receive what Jesus offered?

The constant blare of ‘White-Noise’ defined as… a constant background noise; especially:  one that drowns out other sounds,

and the white-noise of today are politics, news and the constant threat of terrorism against Christians.  But by the Grace of God the message from our Savior is now being drowned out by the interfering ‘noise’

Jesus revealed

Jesus said if you hear him open up and He will come in a dine with you…

Without Christ we can do nothing, including you, we are not diminishing anyone’s ability.  What is your life’s achievement? Think on this…

Can you imagine that our Lord Jesus who is God Incarnate washed the feet of His disciples, why? Jesus detested ‘Pride’ and He showed His Humbleness by this act…


COMMENTARY: Why do you wash your car? Clean your house? Because they are your possessions.  The cost of owning in God’s economy is ‘Love” not money.  God’s equation is founded on ‘Endless-love’ Money is like an ice cube on hot pavement, but Love can be forever.

Hierarchy is a ranking system that forms a disparaging class approach in society. Example, to be a King versus a slave, or a queen versus her subject.  There is a protocol of bowing, or doing a ‘curtsy’ a posture of a woman bowing and bending her knee showing respect to the queen.  Can you imagine the queen or a king washing the feet of their subject? In olden days such a thought would have one beheaded.

The Supremacy of the Son of God

What is important to us all? After reading and learning that Salvation came to both the Jews and the Gentiles by the Grace of Jesus Christ.  The focal point of all is the Divine Resurrection of Jesus that died for our Sins’ and this same Jesus is returning as described in the Bible as “the Day of the Lord’.

Think on this:      What we have just read is better than money in the bank, why? It will never depreciate, the Word of God is forever, and the Riches of God's Grace that He lavished on us will never end.

 

Coming to our Lord:  On that day ‘The day of the Lord’ His Grace will cease, not all of us will live to see the Day of the Lord, as we may die before He returns, but the Day of the Lord will still be an event that we all will be present at. What the Scripture teaches is that the Day of HIS Salvation in NOW! And me must come to HIM and accept Him in Faith and receive HIS Gift of Salvation by His Divine Crucifixion, that was predestined by His Father our Creator to Redeem us by His Blood. Why is Blood an important element? Blood is Life, we cannot survive without it, just like when a person suffers a wound and extensive blood loss, he dies, The Blood of Jesus is far more than life sustaining on Earth, Jesus’ Blood gives us “Life-Everlasting’ why, we were created in the Likeness of God as evidenced by His Son Jesus, and therefore, in His likeness we will never die… the question is, never die? Yes, but because of the original sin that we inherited from Adam, we must be Born-Again. John 3:3

Think on this       : Of all the warning given to us, the best is; the fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Proverbs 9:10

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Commentary:

Wisdom could be considered more valuable than gold, it is said that the person with the gold makes the ‘golden’ rules. So the rules are from God as all the gold belongs to him, but as we read in Revelation, this precious metal will be used as ‘brick-pavers’ for the street of Heaven.

It is amazing that God trusted us so much that He made us with ‘Free-Will’. God also endowed some of the ‘Poorest’ nation with the most Precious Metal and Gemstones, and the people of these nations continue in poverty because of the exploitation of their resources by fellowmen.   This why we have ‘Blood-Diamond’, ‘Jungle Gold’ and still the greed goes on...

God provided these to be used for Joy and to share among mankind, but as we see Diamonds are used to fuel war and conflicts.

Without God all is lost, the Bible said, when the Gospel is preached in all the land then shall the end comes.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

One of the question that we all have… will those that are dying in the jungle that never heard the gospel be sent to hell?  This is our take on this subject and we invite our readers to submit their comments by email. 

We believe of their un-enlightened state never ever hearing about Christ and never rejecting Him, God is merciful and like a new born baby that died, this child will be in God’s Kingdom, why? not being enlightened. It is when you have heard the Gospel and rejected Christ then there will be eternal damnation.

For as long as you have been around, it is the belief that the text above about when the ‘End’ will come, this is subject to every living soul to be reached with the Gospel before The Lord returns… We want to point out that the ‘Gospel’ is the Key Element of this text, and what is the Gospel?  Read on…

The gospel is the good news about what Jesus Christ has done to reconcile sinners to God. Here’s the whole story:

  1. The one and only God, who is holy, made us in his image to know him (Gen. 1:26-28).
  2. But we sinned and cut ourselves off from him (Gen. 3Rom. 3:23).
  3. In his great love, God sent his Son Jesus to come as King and rescue His people from their enemies—most significantly their own sin (Ps. 2Luke 1:67-79).
  4. Jesus established His kingdom by acting as both a Mediating Priest and a priestly sacrifice—He live a perfect life and died on the cross, thus fulfilling the law Himself and taking on Himself the punishment for the sins of many (Mark 10:45John 1:14Heb. 7:26Rom. 3:21-265:12-21); then He rose again from the dead, showing that God accepted His sacrifice and that God’s wrath against us had been exhausted (Acts 2:24Rom. 4:25).
  5. He now calls us to repent of our sins and trust in Christ alone for our forgiveness (Acts 17:30John 1:12). If we repent of our sins and trust in Christ, we are born again into a new life, an eternal life with God (John 3:16).

Why should I believe this when I cannot see what is being said?

There was a man leaving the Church and he was being interviewed, the interviewer asked, Sir, do you believe what you have just heard?  The man said, No, I do not believe a word as I have never seen God, nor anything that the preacher talked about, there was a man standing by, and he said, sir, do you accept that we are surrounded by trees, beautiful flowers and a fountain with the sound of water? The man said, yes, I am looking at them as we speak, the other man said, then you believe they exist? Absolutely, the man then said, I also believe this to be true, but you see… I was born blind, and I cannot see these thing, but I believe they exist.  

This is a case of the doubter being ‘Spiritually blind’ for many without Faith are blinded in their mind. 

The answer how can we receive His Salvation so that I can be in another place other than the perpetual state of dying?

Jesus came and He Redeemed us from the Condemnation, and though His GRACE, by His Blood of Atonement we have His Invitation to Receive His Grace so that we will be saved by accepting Him as our Redeemer.  He doesn’t want to ‘enslave’ us, He wants to love us and have a relationship with Him, just as when He first created Man, and He wanted us to be His Disciples, to be in Fellowship with Him.

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord:

In God’s Kingdom, there will be no Hierarchy, no ‘super’ Christians.  Because we will all be ‘Sanctified’.

In summation, all of our achievement are just a little more advanced over the men that were trying to build a tower to heaven (The tower of Babel) the Space station we have in space will come crashing down to earth one day, our moon rover is like looking at Mars through a pin-hole. Remember our Lord Jesus Ascended to heaven by a Divine Levitation, so we acknowledge our limited wisdom, and affirm that…”All things are Possible with God”

His Promise:

From the day of Creation God provided us with the goodness of His creation and gave us dominion over all living things. Just imagine, the creation of Heaven and Earth were made for Mankind… just think that God in His Infinite Wisdom by His Intelligent design did all this for us. Why” because He loves us... But we betrayed His trust and sin entered the lives of humans, now as descendants of Adam we inherited this blemish called Sin.  But nothing surprises our Majestic God; He provided a way for us to be redeemed by the Blood of Jesus. Jesus, who was with God and the Holy Spirit from the beginning of it all, Jesus was predestined to be our Redeemer.

Conclusion:

His Faithfulness:

God placed us here to enjoy the worship of him and the intimacy of his love for us. This is the big joy that he gave us so forget the short term pitfall disguised as entertainment

  • The defining focus of God is Love not power
  • God brings order
  • God commanded; us to be fruitful and multiply
  • God blesses His living beings

Prayer: Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus in awe we come knowing that all things were created by You as The Father Spoke and You acted in His Holy Spirit. Lord today we come to You seeking Your Divine Blessings and Your guidance, as we say that Your Hands are ‘Over’ us as You Lord do not need help, so we place all things in Your Hands and look to You knowing that all things are possible for those who trust in You Lord. Lord Your Unconditional love abounds in what You have created for mankind, Lord today let us be good-stewards of Your mission and bless our Visitors coming to this Website. We pray in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus, to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Topics: Jesus did this for you, have you shared this to others?

What did Jesus do for you? You may know it or you may not, one of the most important thing in your life that you have or you may have not yet found was done for you by Jesus.

Read carefully… we said ‘The most important thing in your life’. So what is your most important possession you have or the most important event in your life?  Many times things that we do or choose to do did not seems important until the need arises.

In a car-rental agreement it may not seems important at the time, but including the Damage-Waiver (insurance) as a necessity this could turn out to be the most important part of the rental agreement, as someone driving and ‘texting’ rear end our vehicle and wrote off the car. So for the $15 per day the $30,000 automobile was fully insured when the coverage was really needed.

In life we feel that what Christ did at Calvary is an ‘optional’ item, just like choosing to select the option of the Damage-Waiver for the car rental.   But we may choose to insure the car, but your Soul remained un-covered.

We use the term ‘Un-Covered’ instead of ‘Un-Insured’ because Jesus is not in the business of selling Insurance, Our Lord is not selling anything, He is giving us His Love, His Grace and His Redemption.  Yes, these are like insurance, but they are not.  They are ‘Assurance’ because we cannot purchase His Assurance, nor can we have an insurance policy on your soul by making a deal or checking the option box. 

Many times Jesus spoke of ‘If’ and this is addressed to each of us.

John 14:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

Commentary:  A young man whose mother loved the Lord and taught him about the love of Christ, but this young man went off to college, became a physician buy never followed his mom’s leading. While in internship at a hospital where we saw a lot of accident victims; there was a man who suffered a mighty fall who was not going to make it.  This man was conscious so the young physician asked is there anyone that he would like to notify to come and visit him, the injured man said he had no relative, but he would like his landlady to come and see him so that he could pay what he owed before dying.

The young physician called the landlady who came a few times, the man died peacefully, the physician was asked; what should they do with a bible that they found that the man was reading, the physician said he would take it as the man had no relative.

Taking the Bible the physician opened the bible and found that this was a bible his mom gave him, when he went off to medical school that he sold. The physician’s name was written inside the front cover written by his mom. He was shocked because of the coincident of this bible coming back to him. He took it home and read all the passages that the man had underlined.  The young physician was led to the Lord after realizing the Word of the Lord and the unconditional love of God.

Sometime in our life when we offer to help someone, we ourselves get more benefit returning to us.  The incident of this young physician’s life’ experience of this accident victim owning a Bible that was owned by the young physician was a divine interaction of the Lord in the life of this young physician; whose mom was fervently praying for her son to come to Jesus.

Once thing for sure, the Lord answers prayers, and He never forgets, He is Omniscient, He is Omnipotent and our Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.  

Do not neglect to entertain strangers, because somewhere or sometime an angel of our Lord will be sent to you…

The NKJV Bible mention the presence of Angels 190 times. One of the most profound visit of an angel was…Matthew 1:20

But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 1 (Whole Chapter) 

The Divine Super-Natural powers of our God far exceeds our thinking abilities… so today we stand in awe of the great things our Lord has done for us; His Divine Redemption through his Crucifixion and His Triumphant Resurrection.  Knowing this we are more awe-struck that Jesus who is God Incarnate would do this for us, yes he did!  Because we are His greatest treasures, when He created us in His Likeness He said it was Good… so why did He had to die? Because mankind fell from His Grace He came to redeemed us.  Just as Jesus is of the linage of David through Joseph His earthly father that fulfilled the prophecy written over 700 years before Christ was born, we are descendant of Adam whom He created, and by the sin of Adam we are all sinners.

EVENING:

What a privilege our Lord has given us… Through His Death and Resurrection we have His Divine Redemption. You may say…why do I need to be redeemed? I am going to die someday and what do I know or care?  Guess what? You will never die, because you are carefully and wonderfully made in the Likeness of God, and as such we will never die. The Word of God said… It is appointed unto to man to die once and after that the judgment; here we see a very contradictory statement, how can you be around for the judgment if you died?  Because we really never die, and even after the judgment we will live forever. 

In Christ we will have a life of Splendor, without Christ we are separated from God forever in a place of desolation. 

Modern man will say… how can a loving God put him in a place of perpetual desolation (Hell) Yes, He will as His ‘Fair-Warning’ will end on the Day of the Lord. And the Bible also tells us that …  Peter 3:10

[The Day of the Lord] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.2 Peter 3:9-11 (in Context) 2 Peter 3 (Whole Chapter)

Our Lord is a Loving God but He is also a God of a consuming fire.  Hebrews 12:29

Friends today our message is a little mix of ‘Fire and Brimstone' tone, but there is GOOD NEWS Because He is ready to receive you and make you a Victor and not a Victim…

Topic: Going the ‘extra-mile’ … caring for others, helping without seeking rewards, this is real kindness…

According to those placing their trust in Karma, they expect a reward for doing a good deed.  The definition of a ‘Good-Deed’ is… something that you do from the heart and rendered without a request or expecting a reward.

A statement from a Chinese cookie…” He that gives should not remember, he that receives should never forget”

The world is full of philanthropists that declares their ‘Good Deeds’ by broadcasting their wealth and their philanthropic ‘Gifts’

First, no one owns anything… we are mere custodians for a short time.  

TEXT: Matthew 6:3

But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, In Context | Full Chapter |

The Lord said… Matthew 5:3

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus was saying “being poor in Spirit’ is when we know that we are poor and destitute as a sinner, and when we come to this realization and come to Him, then we are rewarded with His Kingdom.  The converse of this is, if you are rich in material things and not poor in Spirit believing that you have everything, then you are just bankrupt in the sight of God; because we are mere stewards of what He provides.

Remember the talent taken from the one that did nothing and given to the one that did the most?

Jesus spoke about the ten Virgins, five were wise and five foolish… so today as we prepare for the coming of the Bridgoom, let us choose to be among the wise.

Matthew 25 [Full Chapter]

The Parable of the Ten Virgins] “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. ...

So today let us forgot what we gave but remembering ‘why’ we gave… it is the Love of others and to fulfill the ‘Great-Commission’ ordered by Christ.

The Great Commission

16 But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 

Commentary: Jesus confirmed God’s great commission to HIM… Then Jesus gave His Great Commission to each of us.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Conclusion: Jesus confirmed that ‘HE would be with us always, even to the end of the age’.

The Final Message

10 And he *said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11 Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.”

12 “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

Commentary:

The statement of… 11 Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; this sounds like a paradox; but it really isn’t.  Because God does not want us to compromise and to those who are doing wrong by ignoring His call, God will not ‘twist’ their arm as all are born with ‘Free-Will’.   So if one is doing wrong and continue to do so even after being enlighten of the Good news of Christ’s Salvation, God is saying “so be it”.

The old adage of ‘You can lead a horse to water but you cannot force him to drink’ 


If we let the Holy Spirit of the Lord be upon us, the ‘scales’ will fall from our eyes and we can then see-clearly to walk in the light.

Thanking the Lord for His Mercies and His Divine Redemption…

Topic: We can leave before a Hurricane strikes, but you cannot take-off in the middle of the storm, why?

Focus: Thunderstorms are an airplanes worst enemy.  Aircraft must avoid thunderstorms as well as the surface conditions they produce. In terms of wind shear, pilots avoid both taking off and landing during such conditions. Often the passage of a storm near or over an airport causes operations to grind to a halt. 

Storm clouds are brewing across the globe… Economic concerns, political uncertainties, mass-exodus from war-torn regions, and even those in their comfort of sub-urban America are looking at the future with some degree of apprehensions.

When it all comes down to reality, what is the ideal place for one to avoid the ‘storm-clouds of life’…  we read about the ratio of accidents occurring on vacations, the in-home accidents and the minute event that became life-changing.

20% of those on vacation will experience accidents, so having leisure time can be hazardous.

So when you look at yourself remember to give thanks for His protection that keeps you safe.

Remembering that the Lord said… Psalm 91:11

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; In Context | Full Chapter |

Preparing for the storm is a good thing but mandatory evacuation cannot be avoided, and to stand-around and leaving too late it becomes dangerous.  In life the ‘Storms’ that we face can be addressed, and the preparation to deal with this is all provided by our Lord.


While Jesus said we are not to worry, that doesn’t mean we are to just sit back and do nothing.  What Jesus said…

Jesus the Way to the Father

Focus: Is Hollywood driven by money or driven by a need to spread the news of the end times? The latest movie depicting the rapture… ‘Left behind’ presents the biblical departure of people from earth, a process that we know as the ‘Rapture’; because of the Graciousness of our Lord He will take us away from the great tribulation to come following the day that Christians are caught-up into the clouds.

The word ‘Rapture’ is not in the Bible, but Jesus spoke of… one will be taken and the other left.

There are events that we will experience such as:

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. Devotional:  Not all will hear that ‘Trumpet’ Sound… this will be unique sound that will be audible to those in Christ. But the coming of the Lord will be seen from the east to the west.

Coming to the Lord:

Coming to the Lord Jesus is a life-changing experience, the changes are not all ground-shaking such as when Saul was called by Jesus, but our lives will be changed as we begin to see the Grace of God in our lives.  The Bible will become more understandable, no more will we be confused by the Gospel and be aware of the Unconditional Love of our Lord, as Christ said, I do not condemn you because I was condemned for your sake.

Jesus said… you must be Born-Again, and through His Redemption we have this ‘New-Birth’ as we are now ‘Born’ into His family.  He said we are no longer slaves but His ‘Friends’

Coming to Jesus is an experience filled with His Peace and His Joy that we are assured that we are here as a ‘foreigner’ in this strange land… The World, most certainly is becoming a strange land as the days go by.

So the question above, if you could turn back time where would you like to be? For me I would like to be as said in; Psalm 84:10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness. In | Full Chapter |

Conclusion:

When Jesus said… “I am not of this world” did you ever wonder what kind of world He is from?  Revelation described the Kingdom of God glistening like Glass, made of pure gold.  Have we ever wondered how did Jesus ascended from earth?  Does the statement of Paul … ‘being absent from the body but present with the Lord’ ever puzzled you?

There are so many things that we do not have definitive answers to, so how do we address them. We must base our answers on Facts: Fact No: 1 Jesus came, Fact No. 2: Jesus died for our sins, Fact No: 3 Jesus rose from the dead, Fact No: 4 Jesus ascended into the heavens.  These facts are real, and His Words are real, and His Covenants are real. Jesus’ promise of returning is real.

Prayer: Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus we come.  Lord today as we reflect on Your humble servant Jabez, that sought Your blessings and enlargement of his territory with Your hands upon him, we do the same Lord and ask that we also be kept from evil and that what we do shall be for Your Glory Lord Jesus. Lord we seek to be equipped and that You will open the flood-gates that Your Word will flow as a deluge to wash away the sins of those coming to our sites bearing Your Good News. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your blessing to each one. Lord we pray that our nation and the world will humble ourselves and seek You Lord, and turn from our wicked ways, Lord You said You will hear us and by Your Faithfulness You will forgive us and heal our land. We pray this in Your Holy Name our Messiah Jesus; be with us as we give You first place in all things, to You Lord Jesus be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Morning:

Topic: Planning for a trip and gathering what we need for the travels, a prudent thing to do before leaving home…

NASA says it has received a signal from 540 million miles across the solar system, confirming its Juno spacecraft has successfully started orbiting Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system.

"Welcome to Jupiter!" flashed on screens at mission control at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, California.

An amazing trip of 540 million miles, yet we can send a signal to fire the engines to slow it down and bring the Juno spacecraft into Jupiter’s orbit.

Today as we reflect on our purpose our mission and is ‘Earth’ our final home?  Jesus said “I am not of this world”, therefore we too are not destined to remain here.    There’s so much we do not know but there are many things spoken by Jesus, things that we cannot comprehend…  Faith like a Mustard-Seed is one that we cannot give a mathematical answer to.  But, Einstein’s theory of relativity is widely adopted, and maybe Einstein is referring to the Quantum-Physic that our Lord said we can have.

Focus:  Jesus rode a donkey but He left earth by Levitation to Heaven…

Faster than the speed of light… Yes, we all have this ability when we know Him…  Jesus spoke of Faith…

The Quantum Physic in our brain is the portion connected to our optic nerves when linked to the Power of Faith this is what Jesus said… All things are possible;

Imagine that our Lord said, if we have Faith as a Mustard seed, nothing will be impossible.  Just think if man knew how to apply the full power of Faith as described by Jesus, man would not be able to contain this power against his fellow men… but our Lord did make the power of Faith available to each of us, this is the Faith “in-HIM’ and as we trust in Him, and His Word said we will have Life-Everlasting, then at the right time, when life ceases on earth for us, the power of Faith is super-naturally released allowing all believers to transition to Him in the twinkling of an eye.

Prayer is the pillar of our faith and we are strengthen by coming to our Lord.  Knowing that Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God is One in His Holy Trinity of His father, our Creator and His Holy Spirit, will do miracles in our lives….

Prayer is a divine way of communicating with our Father, knowing that we pray to our Father our Creator through Jesus our Mediator who intercedes on our behalf as Jesus is our High Priest and as our Sovereign God in one of Father, Son and Holy Spirit; because HE said no one comes to the father unless through Him…. While we pray without any man-made device, this is a super-natural event that we can acknowledge by our Lord’s promise that He would send His Holy Spirit to be with us.  When we walk and seek our Lord, we are always guided through the shadow of the Valley of death, fear and turmoil of this world, knowing that His Shadow of Mercies is always close to those that seek our Lord.

We are to boldly come to our Lord knowing that He said we are to do this as He said…

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”.

  As we read in John 14:16, Our Lord Jesus the Son of God; said He will intercede to His Father on our behalf… Jesus Son of God prays to His Father to send us another advocate (His Holy Spirit) The Holy Spirit He sends will be with us forever.

We are also reminded in 1 Timothy 2 ‘Instructions on Worship’ 

1. I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people –

2. for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

3. This is good, and pleases God our Savior,

4: who wants all people to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth.

5: For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,

6: who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. 

Therefore; ‘Let us hold unswervingly to the Hope we profess, for He who promised (Jesus) is Faithful. "I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee."  Isaiah 44:22 KJV

 4. Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, "Rejoice!"

EVENING:

When we have received the Favor of our Lord as He is Faithful and will grant us our request when we ask in faith, we are to pray with Thanksgiving and to use His provisions for the purpose and not turn away when we have been delivered, you are to continue to seek Him and give Him the Glory.  His Faithfulness: When you have had great deliverances out of troubles and turmoil, remember to say…, "I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." And supplied all I have needed because our Lord is Faithful… Praise Our Lord Jesus who sits on the Throne of Righteousness. 

Coming to The Lord:

1 Peter 1:8-9 New International Version (NIV) 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9. for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we Praise You for Your Majestic power knowing that you are the Incarnate God of Your Holy Spirit. Lord we are in awe of the vastness of the universe that you have made and given mankind domination over Your Creation. we thank You for your Grace and we accept Your Gift of Salvation in You Lord. Topic:  The Perfect Storm, or the perfect condition of Peace, make a choice…

A ‘Perfect-Storm’ is a particularly violent storm arising from a rare combination of adverse meteorological factors.

A ‘Perfect condition of Peace’ is where the favor of the Lord is upon you…

We won’t explore the travails of the perfect-storm as it is best not to dwell on the negatives, but rather on the positives…

So let us look at how we may be in that ‘Perfect condition of Peace’.

Peace is when you are at rest knowing that all’s well.  But do we really know that all’s well?

Peace is not the absence of trouble and not having anxiety or the bills are paid…  Real Peace is knowing that under all circumstances you are ‘wrapped-in-cotton’ never to suffer any hurt; or come what may you can deal with it because you have the ‘Grace’ of God.

David was at peace when he was hiding in the caves from Saul who was hunting him down to kill him, but God delivered Saul into David’s hands but, David did not kill Saul.

Paul and Silas were at Peace while bound with chains and in prison between guards (this is a real maximum prison) rather than lamenting they were singing Parises to the Lord; this of course became the most famous jail-breaks of all times. They were released by a violent earthquake, their chains were broken, and rather than escaped, they reached out to their jailor and the Holy Spirit came over them all, from this the Church of Antioch was born.

Our God does not move in a mysterious way, He moves in a Divine Way, and He is a Purposeful God that is constantly watching over us.

We can be at Peace knowing this…

Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. In Context | Full Chapter |

The Bible said… ‘those who fear Him’ But the meaning that we prefer to use; ‘for those who Loves Him’ because Jesus said…

John 15:15

Jesus is a Friend indeed and He is God in One of the Father…

Can you imagine this Holy Son of God who is the Creator of all things, came to Redeem us, He displayed Love, Humility through His Humbleness, He even washed the feet of His disciples…? Our Sovereign Eternal Lord as we read;

Colossians 1: The Supremacy of the Son of God

We read in John 15:  The Vine and the Branches (The Word of Jesus)

15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 

Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

Birthdays… When you were a kid Birthdays were the event along with Christmas. As you grew older the celebration of birthdays were more a reminder of aging or maturity?  America’s Birthday is today, July 4th and America is 240 years old.

Let’s Thank the Lord for His mercies, his protection and His providence for the people of the USA, and let us spread His Good News…

During the 240 years, America fought 12 major wars and is engaged in war 93% of its history.  

America's Founding Fathers include George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, James Monroe and, of course, Benjamin Franklin. These men, together with several other key players of their time, structured the American democracy and left a legacy that has shaped the world.

The noted one of interest was the War of 1812 was a war to defend the ideals of a new nation… On the Mid-Atlantic Coast, British troops landed in the Chesapeake Bay area in 1814, and marched towards Washington. US General William Winder made an attempt to stop the British forces, commanded by General Robert Ross, at Bladensburg. The US troops were badly routed. The city of Washington was evacuated, and the British burned the Capitol and the White House, along with most of nonresidential Washington.

The British pressed onward, and Admiral Cochrane sought to invade Baltimore. General Ross was killed as his forces advanced towards the city, and their movement stalled. Cochrane's forces bombarded Fort McHenry, which guarded Baltimore's harbor, but were unable to take it. This event inspired Francis Scott Key, an American lawyer detained on one of Cochrane's ships, to write the Star-Spangled Banner. Unsuccessful at Baltimore, Cochrane's damaged fleet limped to Jamaica for repairs, and made preparations for an invasion of New Orleans, hoping to cut off American use of the Mississippi River.

By mid-1814, the War of 1812 was turning out to be tougher fighting than either side expected. Britain, caught up in the costly Napoleonic Wars, began to look for a way to extricate itself from its American commitment. In the Belgian city of Ghent, American negotiators (including John Quincy Adams and Henry Clay) met with British diplomats. After considerable bickering, the negotiators signed the Treaty of Ghent on December 24, 1814, officially ending the war. The treaty returned US-Britain relations to the same status as they had been before the war. The US neither gained nor lost any territory. Impressment went unaddressed.

The war was officially over, but news traveled slowly across the Atlantic Ocean. In New Orleans, Cochrane landed the British troops, who were still waiting for their replacement commander for Ross, General Packenham, to arrive from Britain. On January 8, 1815, Andrew Jackson's ragtag army soundly defeated the British at the Battle of New Orleans. Even though this battle had been fought unnecessarily (the treaty was already signed) the US celebrated wildly, manifesting an upsurge in American nationalism.

Yet America came to the defense of Britain… 131 years later America a nation that forgave their enemies… went out of its way to save Britain. The US clandestinely entered the war on the side of the British by providing convoy escorts to help get goods to England, selling Britain 50 destroyers on credit under "lend-lease," and actively conducting anti-submarine operations in the western Atlantic to squash the German U-Boats.

Today as America celebrates its 240th Birthday we cannot say America is at Peace, but the people of America is at Peace knowing that the Grace of God will prevail over this Land. As we look to the General-Election we pray that God will shed His Light upon the right leader to bring this nation back to Him.

Isaiah 1:

Therefore the Lord, the Lord Almighty,
    the Mighty One of Israel, declares:
“Ah! I will vent my wrath on my foes
    and avenge myself on my enemies.
25 I will turn my hand against you;
    I will thoroughly purge away your dross
    and remove all your impurities.

    your rulers as at the beginning.

    the Faithful City.”

This is what Jesus said... Do not worry, but seek Him and He also said... "I will never leave you nor forsake you"

Worrying will not solve the problem, to worry it will only compound the problem.  The Bible is full of God's instructions of how to overcome the challenges of this world. Here's a specific message from our Lord...

Guidance for Today... 1 John 4:4
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 
This means that we can face our tempter by the Power of the Holy Spirit that dwells in us. We rebuke the evil one knowing that HE (Jesus) who is in us is greater than he that is in the world.

EVENING: 
His divine Grace & Providence...
The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose water do not fail

His Faithfulness: 
Conclusion… Layup treasures in heaven, treasure are defined by extending the Love of Christ to others and to use that ‘Bag of Gold’ which is His Gospel of Good News of His Resurrection from death to life-everlasting, this Good News that He died for our sins so that we can be saved, and only by His Blood of Atonement, a divine action to Redeem us as His Grace extended to us while we are here right now, this grace expires when we dies or when Jesus returns, at any of these events, should one or the other occur before you have accepted Jesus as your Redeemer you will face the wrath of God… While our Lord is a loving God full of compassion, yet the scriptures said; ‘Our God is a God of consuming fire’ To accept Jesus pray in faith and acknowledge that He died and paid the penalty of our Sin. 

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord today as we look at the challenges of life we also have Your assurance that we too accept Your Word… “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your Divine blessings upon each one, we thank You for the privilege of presenting the Good News of Your Salvation. Lord we thank You for Your Redemption and lift You up before men knowing that we will never be ashamed in rusting You. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Messiah, to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

MORNING

His Promise… God replied… “My Grace is Sufficient” 

Without God’s Grace we have nothing… each milestone in our lives brings us closer to what we desire and to some of what we do not desire.

When you were young looking ahead and waiting to turn 18 to legally drive it looked like light-years away; as we mature time is fleeting by like looking out the window in a fast moving automobile.

The richest person on earth with all their wealth without the Grace of God is a poor man.  The poorest (Materially) with God’s Grace he is a rich-man and he is the owner of wealth that exceeds the worth of the richest person on earth.

So Christians, look-up… you are wealthy, you are rich and you are chosen to be a ‘Joint-Heir’ with Christ!

Think on This:  Jesus our Lord who came to redeem us, He can to ‘Serve’ not to be ‘Served’.  Every one of us want to be ‘Served’... be like Christ, look around as serve others by telling them of the Good News… He is Risen!

Focus: Growing up we all had a little box with our favorite things.  As we go older what’s in the box of life? We need God not a box.

As a parent each of my kid had their own little ‘treasure-box’. Today we will focus of Samaritan’s Christmas-Child Shoe Box ministry. 

The world is a place of need regardless of where you are at this moment… each of us has a ‘Shoe-Box’ and this is a small space in our hearts.  Heart? Yes, because the heart is where we generate emotions, love and feeling with compassion.

We salute Franklin Graham for his magnanimous global outreach for Christ.  To deploy the Shoe-boxes it is like the allied forces coming together to liberate France, but the target is much wide-spread. The ground swells of participant around the world and the individual recipients of the shoe-box filled with toys, hygiene items and a bible are blessed.

Pray that this ministry endowed by Christ and executed in His name will have a safe delivery of the boxes this season to the remotest destinations.

We thank God for people like Franklin and his crews and each participant that assembled a box with the love of Christ, may the Lord continue to bless the Grahams for their worldwide ministries.

We may not need a Box, but we need Christ as only what’s done for him will last.  Let us focus on Thanksgiving by thing of the less fortunate families around the world and right here in this land of prosperity as the ‘American-Dream’ has been reshaped with over 50 million receiving Food-Stamp.  We pray for those that are receiving this welfare assistance and even for those that are abusing the system by converting the intended use of Food-Stamp for illicit items. As said… what’s done in secret will be revealed and we hope that those enablers will be revealed.

 

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

Topic: Saving for the rainy day, a fund to take care of the event that interrupts our lives, what’s yours?

Saving for a ‘RAINY-DAY’ is like having an Umbrella when it rains…

It is said that Americans save the least, and Asians save the most…

Apparently saving for a ‘Rainy-Day’ is not a cultural pre-requisite, but it is essential and ‘savings’ can be in many forms.  It could be by some method of insurance, such as Health insurance, and even credit protection. But there is no insurance that assures you of how to access money on demand, other than incurring additional debt.

So much for a ‘Rainy-Day’ contingency, there is a much more important ‘Safety-Net’ that you have access to that will not cost you a penny… In fact, you will not incur any ‘debt’ in procuring this ‘Irrevocable Assurance’ of having all of your needs met.

What is this ‘Irrevocable-Assurance’? and if this is available why is this not being participated in by everyone? Probably it is too simple and it is ‘Free’…

How can a person access this Free Irrevocable-Assurance?  When we tell you how, you may say this is too easy and how do I know that this will work for you.  Well, you will need a few things that only you can provide, and these will form part of how you will gain access.

What you will need to provide will cost you nothing and you do not have to buy it, you already have them. So let’s start by putting the pieces together…

  1. Your Mind
  2. Your ability to believe
  3. Your ability to have Faith and not to scoff at what is ‘Promised to you’
  4. Your ability to accept a Gift
  5. Your ability to listen, learn and act accordingly
  6. And finally…
  7. Your ability to just place your trust on the ‘Provider’ of His Gift.

Now that you have clarified the Pre-requisite of receiving a ‘Priceless-Gift’; let us unwrap this Priceless and everlasting Gift…

First we have to acknowledge that There is One God and One Mediator between you and God…

Topic:  Intrinsic value, present day value, future value, fundamental value, what is your life worth?

Focus: His Promise:

“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Luke 12:6-7 NIV

Prayer is the ‘Pillar of Faith’ and coming to our Lord many times each day will strengthen us against the temptation, and He will make a way for us to overcome the wiles of the devil. Praise our Lord Jesus for He said…” Greater is He in you that who is in this world’ meaning by His Spirit in You can do all things through Him, Christ Jesus.

A devoted Christian that made it his duty to visit the neighborhood and visit house to house and present the gospel, one day he came to the house of this big burly man, as soon as he started to tell him about the Good News of Salvation, the man grabbed him and brandished a long knife, shouting angrily “Say another word and I will stick this into you I have spent half my life in prison and I am not afraid of nothing more now.” The visitor however did not allow this to intimidate him, but replied calmly, “If God allows you to do that, then go ahead and kill me. But before you do, I have something to tell you.  There is still time to save your soul, Our Lord Jesus died for you, and if you come to Him, He will not cast you out, despite your many sins’ Then the huge man pushed him down the stairs.

After a few weeks the Christian man came down the street again, and nervously looked up at the apartment, at the window stood the man who had previously nearly killed him, but the man indicated to him to come up. He followed his invitation and as he approached the big man grabbed him and hugged him and started to weep, and said what a happy man he was, as he prayed to God and God accepted him and he wanted to thank the visitor and he asked to be forgiven for his brutality and to thank him for leading him to Christ.

Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. Romans 5:20

In our lifetime we all have experienced some degree of mockery, but the worst case of mockery is to have some form of ‘Respect’ for the individual but behind his back we commit things that are offensive to the person.  It is like saying Dear God, I love You and Praise You and I serve You, then in the afternoon we are violating his trust.  This is among the highest form of mockery that we can commit.  But our God who is Omniscience, Omni Potent and all Powerful will not be mocked.  In society we often misjudge Kindness for ‘Weakness’ Our Lord express such kindness and so many of us take His love for granted.  There is an “Entitlement’ offered by our Lord, and He offered His Love to have made the ultimate Sacrifice for us by granting us His Grace and it is an Entitlement that we must accept.

Mocking our Lord comes from all levels, Sin is not exclusive to any one group, and you can be in the clergy, a Priest, a Pastor, and an Evangelist… The Scripture warn about ‘Falling-Away’ after being enlightened, so being a member of the Clergy, a Pastor willfully ‘Falling-away’ by partaking in a sinful act is a mockery of our Lord at a higher level; as such an individual breached the trust of the Lord and his parishioners.

The scoffer that scoffs at our Lord and jest against Him, the non- believer is committing an act of Mockery against our Lord; but there is no consequence of mistrust affecting a wide audience.  So those in the service of our Lord must be guarded and be aware that the consequence is far-reaching.

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God we come… Lord Jesus Today’s words of Assurance provided all of what we need to face this day. Lord Your Graciousness and Your Love we accept and we Praise You as You have given us the ultimate Gift of Eternity with You Lord.
