What is the best thing you have to look forward to? Retirement? Wealth or fame? The best will be your heavenly treasure, get some today…

Living in a country that is known as the United States of America, yet there are many divisions. So, we want to remind our readers… that:

The United States of America back in 1776 was considered a great experiment, but today we have a Republic founded on this principle…. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. –

As the USA continues as a young Republic of just 243 years-old, still we are trying to rewrite what made this country favored by our Creator into what man is imposing on our society.

The Pledge of Allegiance…  "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

As we forge ahead in a new globalization theatre, the challenges are many, but there’s only one answer, and that answer is found only in the Lord; because only what’s done for Him will last.

Let us ask that God will heal our land, and we can trust Him because he said… Mark 11:24

Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Mark 11:23

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Commentary: 

Darkness is the absence of Light, Sin is the absence of God, Wrong is the absence of righteousness. Therefore God did not create
evil, men looked away from God and evil conquered them. Get right with God by Accepting His Graciousness through Jesus.

Our Lord is Eternal; He is Jehovah… yes Yeshua/Jesus is Forever. Today rather than thinking of finishing strong, we want to focus on a strong beginning by Praising of our Sovereign Savior.

Did we improve the standard of living for many? Needless to say, there are more homeless population, more people going hungry, schools are failing, more violence and what’s next.  What is the root cause of these disarray?  Whenever someone says…” It is because God is out of the equation” the press would jump all over this person, what is the agenda of our press? TV, Newspapers, Internet and other medias are all focused on what? One could say decadence is the top priority. Lifestyle and greed factors are headliners.

Who do we blame? Our leaders? Parents, Hollywood? Our pastors? Or just society at large?  One thing for sure we cannot blame God… His warning is perpetually stated in His words.  So how do we end this cycle of a down-spiraling in our society?  Let us look at the ‘Solution”

God’s solution…

if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

It would take some global catastrophic event for our ’Stiff-necked’ population to follow the above instruction. So, let’s us start with ourselves…  we may recall the little boy tossing beached Star-Fishes back into the ocean, and this old guy came up and said there are so many, what you are doing won’t make a difference, the boy continued tossing, and as he tossed another, he said, to this one it will make a difference.

Is the world getting better? or; is it just the same? Make it better by starting now, how?...

Maybe we cannot make the world better, but we can make many lives better.

We can start by making a difference…

Be strong, be courageous, lean on the Lord, not on man, trust in the Lord and not on our own abilities, because without Christ we have none.

Who is the Lord? Is He the same Jesus that we read about, dressed in a white robe wearing sandals? While the Bible said… He is the same yesterday and forever, yet He will not be returning in His white robe, why? As we recall Mary could not recognize Him at the tomb, why? HE was in His Celestial Form. Let us read about who He is?...

Ezekiel 1: 27-28 NKJV

I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

The text above stated… ‘This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord’. Remember in His kingdom there is no night, and He is the Light.

Commentary:

All of our earthly achievements are like Henry Ford’s model T, even our latest inter-planetary spaceships, our healthcare our satellites and our mode  of communications are out mode obsolete. Yes, the Internet is still amazing as my email sent will arrive from Miami to China in seconds, my Wall Street Journal in my mailbox this morning I can read from my iPad. And what I post today will be online in a flash. Yet with all the advancements, God great mystery will be revealed as we shall see Him as He is…

On the first day when God said…”Let there be light”,  Yeshua/Jesus appeared. And there was light, remember the sun was not yet made until the fourth day.

The Eternal Word

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, we come to seek Your Divine Guidance today.  Lord Jesus because You are on the Throne of Righteousness and intercedes for us Lord, we ask Your Blessing and we Thank You Lord for Your Graciousness.  Lord we thank You for our many Visitors, bless our Visitors and grant Your favors on each one. Devotional for Monday July 29, 2019

Do not look back at the good Ole days, because the best is yet to come…

Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is not yet here. Today, is what counts.

We cannot turn back time, so forge ahead and seek the Righteousness of the Lord and His Kingdom, and all things will be added unto to you... as well.

Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

‘These things’ will be given to you, and they will be just right, why? Because as you seek Him and His Righteousness, what we seek will be by the desire of our heart.

Meaning that, when you seek Him, no longer will your wishes be beyond what the Lord

Would consider beyond what you deserve.

An ordinary wish coming from someone that is not seeking the Lord, the wish would be

probably off the list, such as winning the lotto, wishing bad things against someone.

In the realm of a close walk with the Lord, these would not be among your desire.

Because… The Lord said:

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 37:4 [Full Chapter]

Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart.

But the humble will inherit the land And will delight themselves in abundant prosperity.

So, we see that our Lord endowed only good things for each  of us.

Jesus outlined the ‘secret’ and when you have the key, it will open up His abundance. What is the Key? Again, it is in the above text of Matthew 6:33

Above all, we must remain humble as stated in Psalm 37:11m because, many before you and us, attained their desires, but forgot to be humble, so they finished bad.

Today let’s have a good start and a good ending in Christ Jesus.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus as You are our Mediator to the Father, and in You Lord Jesus as One with the Father, we thank You Lord for Your Graciousness.

Lord be with our Visitors and bless us all as we go in Faith knowing that all things are possible in Your Holy Name. We pray in Your Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Sunday: July 28, 2019

The Love of Christ guides us, and above all His Love went beyond out faults. Because of His Love, we have His Grace, and by His Redemption we are saved. 

No other god, no other name, no one can save you and give you everlasting life. Why?

Only Jesus, Because He our Redeemer lives...

Only Jesus rose from the dead, all others, are still buried. So if they were god, then why are they still buried?

Thoughts for the day: Trusting in God…Who else is trustworthy?

 Jesus said… “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” Hebrews 13: 5

Commentary: One could say…I do not want to be a Christian, because if I do I cannot continue to enjoy the things of this world, Let’s look at the verb ‘Enjoy’, this is a word derived from ‘rejoice’  it is an experience. Experience do not last forever, it is like the four little apples that I picked a few days ago, they are now no longer fresh and are not good for eating. So is the pleasures of the world, and many of these can leave you with guilt and remorse which is the price of sin. But the worldly life of a non-Christian leads to emptiness, therefore, without Christ the ‘enjoy’ is not real ‘Joy’… Joy is perpetual when you know Christ.

Trusting God and knowing Him leads to:

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear (loves) Him, and delivers them (you)... Oh, fear the Lord, you saints! There is no want to those who fear Him… Psalm 34: 7, 9 NKJV

The bible refers to believers as ‘Saints’ through Jesus Christ our Lord we have this privilege of receiving His Salvation by His Grace. Fortunately, no one can buy or earn His Salvation, otherwise heaven would be a place full of ‘boastful’ people. We are saved by His Grace and not of anything we do or can do.

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

The Christian life is full of Joy… Following Christ is what ‘Christianity’ means; and in Jesus we have that Victory and being filled with His Holy Spirit (His Comforter) we have the JOY.  Knowing that Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and forever… we have His assurance of Heaven to be a real place where Jesus is King of His Kingdom.

Right now you can speak with the King of kings, you do not have to wait to get to heaven… you have access to Jesus because he said “Come unto me”.

 “No one comes to the Father unless through Him (Jesus)” no not Buddha, not Mohammed, not St. Peter or the church. 

So we have this open invitation to come to Jesus...

Luke 5:32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Matthew 22: 37 Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Remember: It was Jesus who said... Apart from me you can do Nothing… NADA… NIL.

Good News… Eternity? But, will it be an eternity of your choice? You have a choice of one, not multiple choices. This is not our opinion it is God’s declaration… Heaven or Hell, this is rather abrupt…  why God is no respecter of person, he causes the rain to fall on all, good, bad and ugly, and even the beautiful ones too, but in the sight of God we are all beautiful… so Jesus came to gather His creation and with open arms He is welcoming us all.

You can receive His Redemption right now, right where you are, no appointment necessary, no Catholic Priest, nor Church Pastor nor anyone else.

Just come to Jesus and open your heart to Him by saying, Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, and I want to be saved by Your Grace and to receive Your Holy Spirit in my life to change me and make me a child of Yours, Lord come into my heart and I will be a living temple for Your Spirit to dwell, Lord Jesus I thank You for Your Salvation and the privilege of coming in Your Holy presence. Amen.

To our Visitors that are in good standing church members and follower of Christ, the foregoing message may be redundant, but it is His Great Command…

Vision of Divine Glory

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord we thank you for the many Visitors in all three languages. Lord bless our Visitors as You said, “Whoever calls upon Your Name Lord Jesus shall be saved. Lord Thank You for leading us by Your Holy Spirit, as we obey Your commandment as spoken by You Lord…” That we shall love You Lord God with all our hearts, with all our Soul, and with our entire Mind. As we acknowledge this as Your First and Greatest Commandment. Lord be with each of us tonight as we end the day and look to you Lord for a New Dawn full of Grace and be Divinely guided by Your Holy Spirit. Devotional for Friday: July 26, 2019

Making friends are easy, keeping them is another factor. Good friends are anchored by more than material gains, it’s best when founded in Christ.

Job wrote this about ‘Friends’ His friends abandoned him

Job 19:14

My relatives have gone away; my closest friends have forgotten me.

Job 19:19

All my intimate friends detest me; those I love have turned against me.

Even then, Job had ‘Fair-weather’ friends. But a true friend sticks closer than a brother.

Jesus said…

John 15:15

No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 2: But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Action / Coming to our Lord:

A Church is not a building; it is made up of Believers in Christ, and In Christ alone. The Building is where Christians gather to Worship. As we read in Ephesians 2:22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Conclusion:

Our bodies are living Temples of our Lord…. 2 Corinthians 6:16
What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

The Good News is that Jesus is Sovereign,

He is Eternal and He loves us! and above all Jesus died and Rose Triumphantly and conquered death by taking all of our Sins on the Cross.  Yes, He died for our Sins, and he Rose from the tomb, and He Ascended to Heaven and He is on the Throne of Righteousness, and one day he will return.

Are you ready for His return? Today His Grace abounds, and His Salvation is readily available to be received.

So come to Him, and pray… Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, and I repent of my sin by accepting Your ‘Priceless-Gift, Lord Jesus Your Grace I receive and in You I place my trust. Lord direct my path as I seek a closer walk with you my Lord. I Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, Amen.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus thank You for coming and Thank You for Your Divine Redemption. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and the privilege of serving You Lord for Your Glory.  Lord we Praise You and we seek Your divine guidance as we go in Faith knowing that You will return Lord Jesus. The fear of flying is twenty-five percent of travelers, the main cause is anxiety…

Fear is caused by Anxiety, and anxiety can be unfounded as it is a product of being presumptuous.

Why do we say that fear is unfounded, because we presume the negative things, by overlooking the positive things.

With God; ‘Fear’ as in…

‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom’…  Fear causes Anxiety,

The context is to be in ‘AWE’. Not like the fear of flying in turbulence, but to stop and know that He is God.  But we also have His assurance and His Peace.

God has a plan for each of us as He loves you, and His plans are fully outlined in this Best-Selling book of all times... The Holy Bible!

The Bible provides the answers to many of our everyday challenges…

The Cure for Anxiety is written in Matthew 6: 33

33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

For centuries men have been going on treasure hunts. Prospecting for Gold, mining precious metal and gemstones is a test of one’s patience.  You will read about the one person that found a large nugget or a sizable gemstone, but there are many prospectors that went broke without ever finding anything of worth.

Maybe everyone should spend more time reading the Bible… The Word of God said:

Ezekiel 47:12

Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”


EVENING:

Hardship can be a treasure:  just like undergoing training. So, look at what we consider adverse situation to be a ‘rehearsal’ for Victory.  The best runners do a lot of training and their discipline will only yield benefit through a regimental training which is voluntary.  The discipline of the Lord is ‘mandatory’ as we all need to know when we get there to thank Him and not have to go back through the re-training.

Instant gratification can come from playing a scratch-off game and winning a prize, and other forms of receiving what we refer to as ‘just a moment in time’. As statistics point out that…

As compiled by the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) stating that 70 percent of lottery winners end up bankrupt in just a few years after receiving a large financial windfall.

Here’s a way that the ‘financial-windfall’ can give you total satisfaction, if you won the jackpot, just donate it to a worthy cause, and you have gained everything and there nothing to worry about. Why? Because prior to winning you did not have the windfall money, so giving it away you are just your self with nothing to lose.

To donate away the financial windfall it would be a major decision, but if you will be falling into the 70% bracket of going into bankruptcy in a few years, why win it? Or why keep it and let it influence you to go broke?

The above exercise of futility just proved that worldly instant gratification will not last.

Only what’s done for Christ will last, a well-known statement by CT Studd was a missionary to Africa, India and China who gave away his large inheritance and fortune to orphanages and the needy.

An excerpt on C.T. Studd’s life:

Charles Thomas Studd ("C.T. Studd") was born in England in 1860, the son of wealthy Edward Studd, who had made a fortune in India. Charles Studd liked sports just like most young men. He had a passion for cricket because it was the most popular sport in England at the time. His older brother Kynaston Studd, was a member of the Cambridge cricket team and well known. C.T., however, wasn't a great athlete but determined to master the sport. He would practice for hours, using a mirror to help him adjust his swing. He kept away from any harmful habits that may diminish his cricket ability. Soon he began to master the sport and became the captain of his high school cricket team. In 1879, when Studd entered Trinity College of Cambridge University, his popularity as a cricket star took off. He became what others have referred to as "the Michael Jordan of cricket," a household name throughout Great Britain. He soon became the captain of the Cambridge cricket team, an idol to students and legend in his time. and he had a particular passion for cricket, the most popular sport in England at the time. Studd was claimed then, and today as the greatest player to have ever played the game. But that is just a footnote compared to what has really marked C.T. Studd's life in history.

C.T. was saved in 1878 at the age of 18 by the confrontation of a pastor, who really questioned him as to his personal relationship with Christ. Both his brothers gave their lives to Christ the same day that he did. His passion for Christ diminished as his cricket career grew in college and soon, he was hardened to spiritual things. However, in November 1883, his younger brother George got very sick and was dying. As C.T. watched in horror and grief at the suffering of his brother, he reflected, "Now what is all the popularity of the world to George? What is all the fame and flattering? What is it worth to possess the riches of the world, when a man comes to face Eternity?" With a surprising turn, God miraculously healed George and C.T. was so dramatically changed through the event that he consecrated himself to the Lord's work. The things of this world were not worthy of his life, Studd would begin to invest himself in the eternal.

We say only what’s done by the will of the Lord in His Name will last.

What’s important to you? Think beyond the immediate moment. Why? 

What’s on the immediate agenda? Today’s routine, or today’s challenges.

If you are in business, no doubt you will be depending on sales. The loyalty of your customer base is important to the on-going revenue incoming. But promises from sales representative may not be ‘bankable’ but it is the modus operandi of generating sales.

So, thinking beyond the moment is a highly necessary part of sales and marketing.

It is essential that the use of forecasting the business trends, the supply and demand and the competition.

In evaluating what is important to you, you may be dealing with a totally different agenda, an agenda without dependency on sales, but depending on maintaining a budget, keeping the status-quo, and staying well. While we stay focus on maintaining the expenses, we are told by Jesus… take nothing with us, seek His Righteousness first.

Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

In Context 

And what comes next?

Jesus said… “and all these things will be given to you as well”.

‘As-well’ mean that the primary factor is His Righteousness, and His Kingdom, then our desires are granted as well.

You may say… I have been asking for a clear pathway to success and am still waiting?

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Why is ‘in the Lord’ the criterion above? The things? We are to trust and be in obedience to the Lord, when we do, our desires will be in sync with His Graciousness, and the desires of your heart will be granted.

The Lord wants us all to have the finest. You may see a pastor drive up in a luxury car, and most people will say… look how high he is living off his congregation. We say… Stop and look beyond the moment, look at how many NY Times best sellers did he author, and how much is made?

 Example Preacher, best-selling author and religious broadcaster Joel Osteen has signed deal with Simon & Schuster® that could bring him as much as $13 million.

So, stop and think, speak victory in Christ, no more talk of poverty, because the Lord will provide… Remember to speak blessings and prayers over our brothers and sisters for what blessing we give you also will be blessed.

If God is for you who can be against you?

    Gangs against God (‘GAG’) is there such a group? Yes, and let us defeat them.

The gangs against us is against God, as we are God’s prized possession.  The description of what we refer to as gangs… principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. These are greater than the local branch of any neighborhood gangs, or mafia organizations.

These gangs come in many forms. But the head of these gangs are the devil. So, knowing that the ruler of darkness takes many forms.

Just like when Hezekiah prayed, and the Lord answered his prayer, we too will be heard.

So, today… let us overpower the gangs, as our Lord can expel them from our presence. Pray for peace, harmony and Joy to spread throughout the surroundings of all who call upon you.

Today as we start the week, for those driving our highways, let us share the road and the goodwill of the Lord, do not worry about being cut-off in traffic, just let that driver go by, because getting angry is only hurting yourself, the offender is already gone, and nothing you can do.

The same for those that gains the advantage in dealing. Just remember that all the gains in this world is for nothing as the real treasures are with Jesus.

Reality of life… What do you wish to accomplish this week? Could it be life-changing, or just another week?

  • financial windfall

We choose the positive events and hope that one of more of these may come your way…  except for change of religion, as we consider religion to be a ritual, we prefer to say ‘Faith’, belief and Grace, as it is by Grace that you are saved.

Make this a week of life-changing event, coming to the Lord…

Things to know that in the realms of reality, right now is what counts; not yesterday, nor tomorrow, for we know… “Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Live by the principle of… Spiritual maturity is developed by holding unto a FAITH that is FIRMLY ANCHORED IN CHRIST; and knowing that we are never on our own because Jesus is our High Priest.

Devotional for Sunday: July 21, 2019

God’s love is not ‘reckless’ His love is Faithful and eternal and well planned, never at random or aimlessly extended.

The use of Reckless in describing God’s love is totally off.  We must Worship our Lord in Reverence, knowing that God never compromised, His Holy Spirit is Divinely present when we Praise Him.  We should never use this phrase in describing God’s love, as this is sending the wrong message to our youth condoning recklessness to be acceptable.

As much as the song does give credence to our Lord, Reckless should be substituted by Faithful Love of God.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: 

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 NASB

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Conclusion:

We all know of the 23rd Psalm, The Lord is my Shepherd… We think it should read; I am a sheep in my Lord’s flock, and I shall not want.  While our Lord referred to himself as a Shepherd, we preferred to put this in the context that we are sheep in His flock, why? He is the Owner of the flock, and He cares for us. No, we are not re-writing the Bible Text, but our Lord is the Sovereign Eternal God, and not a ‘Shepherd’ like David who was a shepherd-boy. 

So, when Jesus knocks, open the door and let Him in , His saying is faithful, and all what is stated in Psalm 23 He will do.

Devotional for Saturday: July 20, 2019

Do something new today…. Reach out to a friend, share some Joy, see if they need help.

I once had a call that I did not know it was a ‘distress’ call. I failed to ask …

“Is there something I can do for you”, that night the person took his own life. It is experience like this that we wish we could turn back time.

Just like not making that ‘Alter-Call’ and someone in the audience wanted to come to Christ, but the service ended, and everyone dispersed.  It is always good to ask… Is there something I can do for you?

We can never turn back time, imagine if we could hit the replay button and do a make-over, how wonderful this would be, we could cancel the mistakes we made, the things we did and to avoid the things that offended others. But it would also be an opportunity to have led someone to the Lord, and even saved a life.

What is the best thing you can give someone today, maybe, it is ‘Hope and Peace’

Jesus said…

Beware…  Is the light at the end of the tunnel the exit” or an oncoming locomotive?

Again, it is a Stop-Look-Listen mode, as we go about our daily lives, let’s be sure that the light is the exit from the tunnel and not an oncoming train. Driving we cross intersections several times per day, and today while waiting for the traffic light to change some driver just pulled alongside us and ran the red-light.   Jokingly, I said that person just went on a ‘Miami-Green’ usually referred to as a red-light. 

As we once said, being cutoff in traffic causing me to miss the green-light, I consider this as a possible favor, why? Because if I had not been cut-off, crossing on a legal green-light, I would have been hit by a person that ran a red-light. So, don’t be anxious and be patient with rational thinking and remain safe.

Yes, it is the end of the tunnel, and the light shining is the Radiance of the Lord.  But our Lord will not be emerging from a tunnel, He will be coming in the Sky, and be seen from the east to the west.

Commentary:

You may wonder how can God know me an individual in a world with 7+ Billion people, how can Jesus know who I am and hear me as billions are praying simultaneously? This is probably the most troublesome question for non-believers and Atheists.  The answer is that God (Regardless of an non-believers’ unbelief) God our Creator who said “Let us” create, spoke the world into existence, and just as He and His Son Jesus with His Holy Spirit being there from the beginning of it all, their divine power of Creation is able to hear each of us, as the Divinity of God through His Holy Spirit is in each believer; and His Holy Spirit is like the Broadband ‘Wireless’ Internet that we as believer are able to speak with our God.

Who is this Jesus?  The entire Bible is all about Jesus as no one has ever seen God, except Jesus.  Jesus was there from the beginning of it all, and He is the great “I AM” The Gospel comprised of Matthew, Mark Luke and John, collectively they are ‘Proof’ of Jesus’ Birth, His Ministry and His Crucifixion and then as Testimonies of His Divine Resurrection.  The Book of Acts then testified to Jesus post Resurrection spending time with His Disciples and then His Ascension to Heaven.  .

The Word Became Flesh

 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

“At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

What a glorious day it will be… Many may become complacent, as these Words in the Scriptures were written 50-70 AD which is around 1,963 years ago.  So, if you are around the age of 60 this means that you have been hearing about the return of Christ for all your life. But don’t lose heart, as the Word of the Lord will be fulfilled, and what Jesus said will occur.

Prayer: Lord Jesus… We thank You for Your Covenant of Grace, and Your Unconditional love. Lord today as we give You preeminence in our lives, we are privileged to serve, and we thank You for our Visitors. Text:              Clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature]...” Romans 13:14, (AMP)

Commentary:

John 18:36 New International Version (NIV)

 36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

How Can Jesus Be Called "King"?

Today's reading: Ezekiel 37:15-28

God promised in Ezekiel 37:24 that the chosen descendant of David, the Messiah, would be king over the newly reunited northern and southern kingdoms. Why do Christians relate this prophecy to Jesus, despite the fact that he never held this earthly title of authority?

Jesus never aspired to be an earthly king. In fact, when a throng of Jews wanted to make Jesus such a king by force, he withdrew to a mountain by himself to avoid them (see John 6:15). Jesus clearly said, "My kingdom is not of this world ... my kingdom is from another place" (John 18:36). It is in this heavenly kingdom-a place where every believer will one day reside, a place where God's laws will finally be perfectly enforced-that Jesus reigns. Jesus knew that after his life on Earth, he would return to heaven to sit at God's right hand, where he would reign eternally as the unchallenged King (seeMatthew 26:64Acts 2:32-35). One day all will acknowledge his supremacy, all will submit to his authority, all will acknowledge him as Lord (see Philippians 2:9-11). Indeed, he already rules and reigns as a royal king over countless millions of people from every nation under the sun who have given him their total allegiance and loyalty.

Conclusion:

Today by His Grace and by the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus and by His Divine Resurrection, we can Trust in His Assurance that he came to Redeem us, and again we need to be reminded that we Need His Redemption as ‘We are all Sinners” and the most important thing of all we are created in His Likeness, and as such; we will live forever.  This is the reason when we all need His Redemption, if Death was the end and we knew no more upon dying, this could be an easy way out, but The Bible said, after our earthly death there is a Judgment and then we will be given what we due.

For those that have not received Jesus and His Blood of Atonement, they will be destined to a place of eternal damnation where it is like dying but never really dead, for those that have come to Him and accepted His Salvation by Accepting His Redemption and in Faith trust Him and confessed that “I am a Sinner” there will be NO condemnation, and in fact we will not even face the Judgment, as we are already in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

‘No Charge’ it’s all paid, surprise someone… Paying for the person behind you.

Have you ever done this… long ago my friend had a habit of depositing the token in the toll machine for the person behind him, he did this just to see the surprising face of the driver behind him.

As we read about the pioneering ministry of great missionaries, we must thank the Lord for them and, ask; Lord use me too…

Commentary:  When King David died, Solomon ascended to the throne and carried on the work of building the Temple. In today there are no kingdom compared to that of David & Solomon. However, there are ‘Kingdom-work’ that are truly engaged in the work of the Lord… Dawson Trotman the founder of The Navigators was taken home to be with the Lord in 1956 while the Navigators was yet a young growing organization, today it is a worldwide organization. Dwight Moody the founder of Moody Bible Institute was taken home; but Moody Institute and a worldwide broadcasting can be heard around the world.

Just like the Eunuch who accepted Jesus…

An Ethiopian Receives Christ – Acts 8: 25-40

25 So, when they had solemnly testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they started back to Jerusalem, and were preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.

26 But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip saying, “Get up and go south to the road that descends from Jerusalem to Gaza.” (This is a desert road.) 27 So he got up and went; and there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure; and he had come to Jerusalem to worship, 28 and he was returning and sitting in his chariot, and was reading the prophet Isaiah. 29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go up and join this chariot.”30 Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” 31 And he said, “Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. 32 Now the passage of Scripture which he was reading was this:

From that event The Gospel of the Good News was brought to Ethiopia, today there are many followers of Christ still in the land of Ethiopia.

China a land with 1.351 Billion people today with an estimated Christian population of approximately 159 million* Christians in China as of 2013.  J. Hudson Taylor: A Pioneer Missionary an English missionary to China. Founder, China Inland Mission. Taylor spent five years translating the New Testament into the Ningpo dialect. At his death in 1905, there were 205 stations with 849 missionaries, and 125,000 Chinese Christians in the China Inland Mission.  The  China Inland Mission was the largest mission agency in China, and it is estimated that Taylor was responsible for more people being converted to Christianity than at any other time since Paul the Apostle brought Christian teaching to Europe. Out of the 8,500 Protestant missionaries that were at one time at work in China, 1000 of them were from the CIM.[17] It was Dixon Edward Hoste, the successor to Hudson Taylor, who originally expressed the self-governing principles of the Three Self-Patriotic Movement , at the time he was articulating the goal of the China Inland Mission to establish an indigenous Chinese church that was free from foreign control.

Noteworthy…  There are now more Christians in China than in the United States, but this number still represent only about 11% of China's 1.4 billion people. As large as the Lord's harvest is in China, it has only just begun.

EVENING:

Let us pray for a spiritual awakening in the USA… are we becoming a nation of ‘stiff-necked’ people with ‘Idols’… just like the Israelite when they came into Canaan they assimilated and adopted paganism.  We all know the story of the Babylonian’s capture of the northern portion of the land of Judah, let us avoid this by turning to our Lord.

Our idols are not the idol to the ‘Un-known God’ like what was found in Corinth, is it our cars, our house, our jobs, our prized possessions? It’s not too late for America or Britain or anywhere where Christianity is on the wane.

Statistic says that there are more Christians today, let us Praise our Lord Jesus because of our Love not because of what He provides by His Providence He gives what we need because He loves us, so we must Love Him first and then thank Him for His Providence.

Do not void the Warranty… Remain true, stay the course…

Fact:   Did you know you came with a Lifetime Warranty?  Register it today…

The ‘Lifetime’ warranty issued on a product that you purchased covers the period of your lifetime or the product’s lifetime.  We believe it is the owner’s lifetime. Or more the lifetime of the manufacturer.  Try redeeming the ‘Lifetime’ warranty on any product after 10 years, it will be one of two results, the manufacturer no longer is in business, or there is a ‘Pre-rated’ scale that charges a per-year fee and to get the new replacement is like purchasing a new item. These are the hidden clauses in man’s warranty program.

With God, you are ‘Unconditionally’ covered under a ‘Full-Replacement Guaranty Assurance” plan. Because you have been ‘Redeemed’ and fully covered by His Eternal Grace.

Man’s Lifetime Warranty that will still runs out. But God’s Assurance will never end, it is forever!

Commentary:

Jesus our Lord and Savior came to reconcile us to the Father our Creator, but before we can come to the Father we had to be cleansed by His Blood. Soldiers returning from the frontline of battle were usually covered with blood sustained in battle, before going in front of the King they had to be cleaned up and made presentable. Mankind is in this state with stains from our sins. Therefore, God will not see us in our sin filled state. Thus, Jesus came to Redeem us, ‘Redeem’ means we were lost in Sin, and by the Redemption through Jesus we who have accepted His Redemption can now come into the presence of God through Jesus.

The ‘SEAL’ of Assurance from our Lord is Unconditional, and it is perpetual for infinity…What is our Savior providing?  He made a way for His ‘Seal’ paid for by His Blood that was shed at Calvary for us, and this is His Deposit for a ‘More’ Abundant Life.  Just as Jesus said… He came that we may have life and have it ‘more’ abundantly.

Commentary: The Egyptians placed grains in the hands of their mummies; as told by Jesus…  Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

So, we see that the grains in the hands of the mummy remained alone and never reproduces.

When Jesus said…  “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain”; Jesus was using this as a metaphor of His Crucifixion declaring His Triumphant Resurrection… His reference to…” If it dies, it produces much grain was a declaration of His Saving Grace through His Blood of Atonement.  We who are washed in His Blood through His Holy Spirit, His blood is a SEAL applied on each of us as a ‘Deposit’ paid by our Lord. We are bought at a price, a price so astounding it’s Priceless but He gives it ‘Free’ and He is ready to place this ‘Deposit’ on you making you eligible to be with Him in His Kingdom. A place Jesus called ‘Paradise’

The Lord will separate the wheat from the chaff… what are we Grains or Chaff?  Today let us be Seeds worthy of our Savior’s Showers of Blessing.  His mercies endure forever upon His people.

Key Factor:  There is nothing better than to know that you can say…” I AM A CHILD OF THE MOST-HIGH”

Wealth versus Grace, which do you choose? Grace is sustainable, choose it…

Matthew 6:19-21 

Treasures in Heaven] “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

The Grace of the Lord is eternal…

Focus:        Remember the closer you get to the Lord the harder the devil works to cause you to stumble.

Sometimes I would wonder how men like Dwight L. Moody, Charles Spurgeon and pioneers like Hudson Taylor and like my God father the Revered Gallimore, and how they ever got their mission accomplished.

Dwight Moody without a formal education ending school in the 5th grade became a shoe-salesman and was saved by his uncle that sought him out and led him to the Lord. Young Moody knew exactly what he wanted to do, and this was to lead souls to Christ.  Spurgeon was an anointed messenger for the Lord, and he filled great churches when he preached.  Hudson Taylor created the China-Inland Mission and started the training of missionaries to capture the hearts of generation of Chinese for Christ, and my God-Father Rev. Gallimore who led my family to Christ and my beloved father together with Gallimore started a Mission and this mission today is considered a mega church still leading people to Christ.

Reflecting back on the above servants of the Lord somehow the fiery-darts of the evil one did not hit the targets… as today we continue to serve our Lord through this modest outreach, we seek the armor of the Lord and the Holy Spirit to deflect the fiery-dart of the evil one.

Count our blessings of how the love of God rescued us from an eternal damnation, many may say… what are you saying? I am a good person, I have never stolen anything, harmed anyone nor could I be considered a ‘Sinner’ If this was so, then that person is saying Jesus lied… we could only sympathize with that person, as the bible said… Proverbs 1:7

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Because of the Lord of God, and knowing Him we can say we know the end because we read the book and the book is the Word of God, and God said…

And being ‘good’ is not good enough, so God made a way for us to come to Him…

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

Principle:  We can never be good enough to enter the Kingdom of God, but He loved us so much that He extended His Grace, and His Grace is Sufficient for us.

  Therefore, rest assured that only as Jesus said… ‘You must be Born-Again’. In fact, Jesus said ‘Unless” you are born-again you shall not enter. Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

Jesus said...John 3:7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 

Today we need the Armor of God… so here Is where we will find it…

Ephesians 6:10-18 

[The Armor of God] Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. .

Conclusion:

Unity is the Faith from being Holy, Gentleness, and Patience & Love which flow to the Fellowship and Fullness of God…

By the Law or by, Truth and Grace? Make your choice…

John 1:17

For the law was given through Moses;  grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Choose Jesus, as He is Himself God.

In a world that is driven to excel and compete in business, schools, sports, and not to mention the political landscape, we are constantly bombarded by the excess of commercials, selling the look better, and the feel better remedies and the buy this and buy that to improve our lives. How much is enough?

We know that the advertisers are focused to get you to buy. Every campaign alludes to a promise, but the statement by our Lord Jesus is not a promise it is a Covenant. A covenant is an agreement with specific terms; as Jesus Himself said:

Jesus’ Covenant with Mankind:

John 16 (NIV)

John 16. 16 Jesus went on to say, “In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”

2 Peter 3:8
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

Jesus foretold the future, which is relative to our current time, as we see the events of the world… Christians persecuted and killed, Jesus said; ‘the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God’, yet Jesus did say… in Verse 7. “But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you”.  

Prayer:

Father in Heaven in Jesus our Redeemer we come knowing that Jesus is God in One of  Your divine Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus our sovereign eternal God in One of our Father, we give You our Praises and as You have said that You will return and we will see your as You are, and for those of us that have already been received by You Lord Jesus we thank You for that day when we shall be reunited in Your Holy presence with our Loved Ones; and be in a Sanctified Place full of Splendor with Your Holy Presence. Why is your doctor referred to a medical practitioner?

The difference of being a MD versus a PhD,  both are doctors, but you would not go to a PhD to get medical treatment.

Your Bible is your textbook, it contains the teaching from the almighty, God’s commandments and it outlines the rewards and the penalty that He will hand out.

Knowing your Bible and where to find answers is essential as a child once said in Bible study, ‘Only God could write a book like this’

Bringing you own Bible is like taking your own gun to the range.

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Principle: Romans 8: 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

To willfully sin, we will read below, that there will be no more Sacrifice for us, and the consequences are also written below.

Christ or Judgment

The Bible also tells us… That our God is a God of Consuming Fire:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Even though we are Sinners, our Lord came and through His Redemption we can have Victory, and in Him our Victory is forevermore…

Deliverance from Bondage

8 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we Praise You for Your Graciousness and to You Lord we look forward to that day when we shall see You Lord. Lord thank You for Your assurance that those in You Lord will not see condemnation as You have condemned sin in the flesh, Lord in humility we recognize that you who knew no sin bore our sins and substituted Yourself for us so that we could be saved by your Blood. We thank you for our Visitors and the privilege of serving You and we give you first place and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Stand firm, stand your ground, rebuke the evil one in the Name of the Lord.

Know this that the devil cannot use you unless you grant permission, so be on your guard and rebuke the evil one in the Name of Jesus, the Christ.

Know this…  He (Jesus) is the solution to the conflicts among us. Be in harmony in Christ.

Solutions… we all seek solutions, in all stages of life we have sought solutions of doing our school work, and in our adult lives we are seeking solutions to life’s challenges that can be a constant quest. 

Now,  more than ever in a changing world of economic make-over,  global uncertainties and the interference of the forces of evil in all levels of our lives…. 

We need the Armor of God!

Jesus said in His declaration of the Beatitude He said:

 15 Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.

While we seek Solutions… remember Jesus said:

“Where I am, my followers will be”

What a privilege that our Lord has endowed to each of His followers.

It’s your brother, he isn’t heavy, it’s a Joy to go the extra mile…

Proverbs 18:24 New International Version (NIV)

24 One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin,
    but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. – 2 Corinthians 2:15

What is the message from the above text? We are to God someone special… someone with the sweet aroma, not e aroma of a great bowl of your favorite dish, but the aroma of our Living-Savior Jesus in the spiritual realms.

What a privilege the Father has given us… just think on the following:

To be called a child of the Most High

To be set apart as a member of a Royal Priesthood

To be immune from the Wrath of God, as said…

Romans 8:1

Life Through the Spirit ] Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Fact:

What good is a beautiful car that is not reliable? The same for a person, but a person can change.

In Cars, all brands are featured in the ‘Un-Reliable’ line up, including all luxury German and British made, so, this means… Cars are all man-made, so they are prone to problems.  But a person is ‘God-Made’ and even then, there is a certain level of un-reliability there.

In life, there is always a ‘Catalyst’ which is defined as…

a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change.

Or a person or thing that precipitates an event.

So, what drives us to buy a luxury car? Is it prideful? Or is it because we need a more reliable car? We already found the answer to reliable luxury vehicles; they all have problems.  Therefore, it may be a class status bordering on pride. 

In humans, they catalyst that may cause unreliableness could be several factors, and one of the core factor is ‘Sin’.

You may say I was born a perfect human being, healthy, agile, active and I excel in sports and all physical and scholastics events.  The Good News is this core blemish can be removed, not ‘covered-up’. God said He will remove the stigma of sin as far as the east is from the west, and above all. He will not remember it anymore.

So, what?  I have been washed in the Blood of Christ and according to His covenant of Redemption, I have confessed my sins, and am forgiven according to the Grace of the Lord. But I am still in some ways unreliable… Know this ….

God’s Providence is on display… find it and receive your share…

The Providence of the Lord is on display, it is not in showrooms like a new car, or on shelves like in the food stores. But it can be seen all around.

Sometimes you may wonder about the person driving the shiny new sport car and living in a mansion, and yet, he has a reputation of being an unscrupulous businessman.

Do not envy that person, because his comfort in his ill-begotten wealth is only temporary.

Proverbs 22:1

A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better

than silver or gold.

We all know the plight of Job who lost his family, his wealth and even his health, yet, in his plight, he said…

Job 19:25

I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.

Job 10:12

You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit.

Commentary

Remember, when we suffer losses because of being plundered, the Lord replaces your losses with an abundant helping of His glorious providence.

This is the Grace of God…

Can you imagine that when you arrive in Heaven you meet this fellow who said…’Let me tell you how I got here’ I made it on my own, because I am the greatest.   Mohammed Ali once said:” I am the Greatest” but remembering that we are mere humans, created in the Likeness of God… but we are born with a blemish.  This blemish is ‘sin’ as by one made sin entered into the world, and by One Redeemer we are saved.

The ‘Chaff’ versus the ‘Grain’ – Let us be the ‘Seed’ of a bountiful harvest.

Be the seed that will grow and bear much fruit.

Remember you are an ambassador for Christ, a Living Temple and a chosen generation.

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

Question… How can I help? When was the last time you asked this question? Do it more often and see…

Rendering help is a privilege, it is almost an obligation, but voluntary.

The coming Famine… It is a Famine of the Word of God.

A Brief Bio of Amos:  Amos was a contemporary of Hosea and Jonah. He lived in the town of Judah, close to Bethlehem and about 11 miles from Jerusalem. His writing is dated around 760-750 BC. This makes his statement below approximately 2,760 years in history. We read of the coming ‘Famine” of not a famine of food, but a famine of the words of the Lord.

The news item below is like a trickle that turns into a tidal wave and eventually a Tsunami, just like a ‘Spark’ that kindles into a forest fire, so will the suppression of the Gospel and the word of God be targeted.

Text:  Amos 8: 11

“The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord,
  “when I will send a famine through the land—
not a famine of food or a thirst for water,
    but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord. 
12 People will stagger from sea to sea
    and wander from north to east,
searching for the word of the Lord,
    but they will not find it.

This is how they reacted to Amos…

Amos 7: 12-15

12 Then Amaziah said to Amos, “Get out, you seer! Go back to the land of Judah. Earn your bread there and do your prophesying there. 13 Don’t prophesy anymore at Bethel, because this is the king’s sanctuary and the temple of the kingdom.”

14 Amos answered Amaziah, “I was neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore-fig trees. 15 But the Lord took me from tending the flock and said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to my people Israel.’ 

Commentary:

Human philosophy tries to answer questions as: “How did man develop into what he is at present? Or: “How did social conditions develop into their present state?” God’s word gives us the true answers. The present condition of the world system finds its real explanation in the corruption of human nature.

If man could be transformed back into a “Good” being, evil would cease to exist. But this is what the Bible said…Matthew 15:18
But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man.

His Promise:  Our Lord said there will be wars, and rumors of wars, nation will rise up against each other. Knowledge will increase, and people will be moving to and from… Historically we had wars in Syria, and today we have a civil war in this same place, why because of the one factor… Mankind, really nothing has changed as the behavior of the human race continues with the principle of an inherent factor… Sin

His Faithfulness: God loves us all, regardless of our background, and this is the Good News to all, Jesus came to save Sinners, and regardless of us being: a Moslem, an Atheist, Jewish of a non-believer, Christ died for the sins of all, you may notice that Christian was not among the mix, why we are called Christians only after one has come to the Lord, being born in a so-called Christian society do not make one a Christian. 

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come to Praise You Father. Lord Jesus we acknowledge that you are interceding for us, and as our Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Father we seek You Lord and seek a close walk with You. Lord bless our Visitors and lead us to Green Pastures and Still Waters in this life as the challenges are plenty. Lord we look to that day when we shall see You as You are, Lord we Pray in Your Name, and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Spending your most precious asset, do not waste it, it is your ‘Time’

Time is a precious commodity; it is sold by the hour. An example, the law firm for one of our business charges $1,250 per hour.

Time when spent cannot be redeemed, it is lost.

For humor, we will mention the story of someone that died and was waiting to be admitted through the gate, he was kept waiting. So, he asked St. Peter why he was waiting? St. Peter said we are looking for a special place for you, the person said why? St. Peter said, you are the oldest person ever to enter, the middle-aged attorney replied, I am only 55 years old, St. Peter said, not the way that you billed your client, it seems like you are several hundred years old.

On a more serious note…

When Jesus asked the Father…

Matthew 26:39

He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.

Reading the above text, Jesus was not asking the Father to allow Him to remain by avoiding the Crucifixion? No, Jesus was referring to the ‘Wrath of God’…

Know this… Our Lord endured it all… even unto death, but He Rose from death, and so will all in Christ

Christ died for us, He endured it all, and even today our Lord is enduring our sins… Our best is not enough, because our righteousness is just a filthy rag.

But the Good News… Christ died for our sins and it is by His Grace that we are saved.  This may sound like it is a given… but it really isn’t. But the Grace of God is freely given through Jesus our Redeemer.

All we must do is come to Him, ask the Lord to receive you and let His Holy Spirit surrounds you and guide you as you ask for forgiveness and repent of our sins. Ask to be equipped with His armor….

One lesson in life, as a CEO we need to be surrounded by good capable people, no dead wood should be tolerated, to grow we need cultivation, nurturing and unity.   The same is asked of our Lord.   Jesus is supreme, while He can ‘Command’ He prefers for us to be willing rather than being submissive. He wants us to come on our own accord. 

If your dog keeps barking at you and is hostile towards you, and to tame him you must punish him, then this is not love.  Fortunately, the nature of a dog is to respect its master.  We may say dogs have low self-esteem, probably not; inherently dogs are very intuitive, and they can sense your love for them.


Dog can sense when there is family chaos, they can even sense certain illness, they can sniff out drugs and they are great companion.  One could say that a dog has a sixth sense and they see thing in ultraviolet light, and they could be the first heat-seeking device.

The wonder of this universe the creation by an awesome God, who else could have made such function with the ability that we mere humans could be enlightened… Only the Almighty Jehovah-Jira, Elohim, Yeshua… Jesus in the Triune God.

Remember, Jesus said before Abraham was, he was, and He is the Great “IAM”. He is Supreme who came, and He represents the invisible God that no one has ever seen, only He has seen the Father.

Commentary

Being falsely accused is a bad thing, and what’s worse when the lie continues…

Don’t lose faith, or as the world would say… don’t lose face but continue to do what’s right.

Who is your God? Let it be Jesus;

I and the Father are one.”

So, when asked… Who is your God?

My God is not my car, my house my career, my business, and anything I possess.

My God is the Great “I AM”

My God is the Creator as said in Genesis 1.1.  In the Beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth.

Things to consider… share this with your Pastor.

For Pastors and leaders…. two things to ponder… In our prayers, Jesus is always present, so we always end our prayers by telling Him… “In you Name we pray”. Not the third-party inference of: “in Jesus name we pray.

Secondly…? If we do not do the alter call, we must end with the Lord’s Supper. If we don’t. How would a pastor feel if someone in the audience wanted to come to Christ, but the service ended and while that person who wanted to accept the Lord was walking to his car he was hit and died? Preparing for the ‘Rainy days’…  a good Shower of rain is a welcome sight, so why worry?

Experts claim you should have anywhere between three to six months’ worth of expenses saved up in an emergency fund. The more you have saved up, the more secure you’ll feel in case of an emergency.

‘Rainy-days’ is really a blessing…  but, saving for the turbulent time of our lives, or any challenging days ahead is a good idea.

The statistics are not good (But there’s good news ahead)

Jan 29, 2019 - According to a new report, 40% of American households don't have enough money put away if their income is suddenly interrupted. (from Fortune®) and a high percentage is just one paycheck away from poverty.  

The Good News:

Thoughts for the Day:  Wealth can only unlock doors here on earth, it is useless in heaven. But, those in Christ are richly endowed with His Providence.

Are we running the race, finishing the course, looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith?

Let’s remind ourselves… no one can go back and make a brand-new start, but anyone can start from now, and make a brand-new ending. It is not the start that counts it is the finishing… finish well by choosing Christ.

The closer you get to God, the harder the devil works, why?  The tempter sees a prize of value; so, put on the Armor of God.

Sharing the gospel is among the best gift you can give. How can you help a friend?

You may have a friend that is constantly worried about many things. That friend may be self reliant, self dependence and believes that all must be accomplished through his or her own efforts. Such self-dependency oftentimes leads to a cynical approach with apprehension or mistrust. You will observe the lack of peace and joy.

So, today share the Joy that comes with the Peace of God.

Because the Peace from the Lord surpasses all understanding, which means, it is unexplainable and is only achieved when it is from God.

Let us all be aware that seeking the Lord must be in full faith and trusting Him, knowing that He loves each of us, and He wants us to have an abundant life, how do we know this? Jesus said this…

“I came that you may have an abundant life and that it will be more abundantly.

As we celebrate Americas’ 243rd Birthday, we must thank the Lord for His Providence. A Young nation that has endured it, from the landing of the Mayflower through, the declaration of independence, the civil war, the ‘New-Deal’ the depression the ‘Great-Society’ Wars, Technological advancement, and what else?

Yes, America is the last bastion of a true REPUBLIC, and will never be susceptible to a totalitarian society.

Yes, we have divisions, and competitions among every sector, we also have bad policies, bad programs yet, we have multiple good policies and good leaders.

The Power of this nation lies in the principle of… ‘In God We Trust’

We have the greatest Freedom, and every time we hear the sonic boom of our Airforce, we know this is the ‘Sound of Freedom’

So, waving the Flag today, we do it mightily by the Grace of our Lord.

Devotional for Sunday: July 28, 2019

The Love of Christ guides us, and above all His Love went beyond out faults. Because of His Love, we have His Grace, and by His Redemption we are saved. 

No other god, no other name, no one can save you and give you everlasting life.  Why?

Only Jesus, Because He our Redeemer lives...

Only Jesus rose from the dead, all others, are still buried. So if they were god, then why are they still buried?

Thoughts for the day: Trusting in God…Who else is trustworthy?

 Jesus said… “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” Hebrews 13: 5

Commentary: One could say…I do not want to be a Christian, because if I do I cannot continue to enjoy the things of this world, Let’s look at the verb ‘Enjoy’, this is a word derived from ‘rejoice’  it is an experience. Experience do not last forever, it is like the four little apples that I picked a few days ago, they are now no longer fresh and are not good for eating. So is the pleasures of the world, and many of these can leave you with guilt and remorse which is the price of sin. But the worldly life of a non-Christian leads to emptiness, therefore, without Christ the ‘enjoy’ is not real ‘Joy’… Joy is perpetual when you know Christ.

Trusting God and knowing Him leads to:

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear (loves) Him, and delivers them (you)... Oh, fear the Lord, you saints! There is no want to those who fear Him… Psalm 34: 7, 9 NKJV

The bible refers to believers as ‘Saints’ through Jesus Christ our Lord we have this privilege of receiving His Salvation by His Grace. Fortunately, no one can buy or earn His Salvation, otherwise heaven would be a place full of ‘boastful’ people. We are saved by His Grace and not of anything we do or can do.

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

The Christian life is full of Joy… Following Christ is what ‘Christianity’ means; and in Jesus we have that Victory and being filled with His Holy Spirit (His Comforter) we have the JOY.  Knowing that Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and forever… we have His assurance of Heaven to be a real place where Jesus is King of His Kingdom.

Right now you can speak with the King of kings, you do not have to wait to get to heaven… you have access to Jesus because he said “Come unto me”.

 “No one comes to the Father unless through Him (Jesus)” no not Buddha, not Mohammed, not St. Peter or the church. 

So we have this open invitation to come to Jesus...

Luke 5:32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Matthew 22: 37 Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Remember: It was Jesus who said... Apart from me you can do Nothing… NADA… NIL.

Good News… Eternity? But, will it be an eternity of your choice? You have a choice of one, not multiple choices. This is not our opinion it is God’s declaration… Heaven or Hell, this is rather abrupt…  why God is no respecter of person, he causes the rain to fall on all, good, bad and ugly, and even the beautiful ones too, but in the sight of God we are all beautiful… so Jesus came to gather His creation and with open arms He is welcoming us all.

You can receive His Redemption right now, right where you are, no appointment necessary, no Catholic Priest, nor Church Pastor nor anyone else.

Just come to Jesus and open your heart to Him by saying, Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, and I want to be saved by Your Grace and to receive Your Holy Spirit in my life to change me and make me a child of Yours, Lord come into my heart and I will be a living temple for Your Spirit to dwell, Lord Jesus I thank You for Your Salvation and the privilege of coming in Your Holy presence. Amen.

To our Visitors that are in good standing church members and follower of Christ, the foregoing message may be redundant, but it is His Great Command…

Making friends are easy, keeping them is another factor. Good friends are anchored by more than material gains, it’s best when founded in Christ.

His Promise:

His Faithfulness:

Action / Coming to our Lord:

A Church is not a building; it is made up of Believers in Christ, and In Christ alone. The Building is where Christians gather to Worship. As we read in Ephesians 2: 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Conclusion:

Our bodies are living Temples of our Lord…. 2 Corinthians 6:16
What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
2 Corinthians 6:15-17

The Good News is that Jesus is Sovereign,

He is Eternal and He loves us! and above all Jesus died and Rose Triumphantly and conquered death by taking all of our Sins on the Cross.  Yes, He died for our Sins, and he Rose from the tomb, and He Ascended to Heaven and He is on the Throne of Righteousness, and one day he will return.

Are you ready for His return? Today His Grace abounds, and His Salvation is readily available to be received.

So come to Him, and pray… Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, and I repent of my sin by accepting Your ‘Priceless-Gift, Lord Jesus Your Grace I receive and in You I place my trust. Lord direct my path as I seek a closer walk with you my Lord. I Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, Amen.

The fear of flying is twenty-five percent of travelers, the main cause is anxiety…

Fear is caused by Anxiety, and anxiety can be unfounded as it is a product of being presumptuous.

Why do we say that fear is unfounded, because we presume the negative things, by overlooking the positive things.

With God; ‘Fear’ as in…

‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom’…  Fear causes Anxiety,

The context is to be in ‘AWE’. Not like the fear of flying in turbulence, but to stop and know that He is God.  But we also have His assurance and His Peace.

God has a plan for each of us as He loves you, and His plans are fully outlined in this Best-Selling book of all times... The Holy Bible!

The Bible provides the answers to many of our everyday challenges…

The Cure for Anxiety is written in Matthew 6: 33

33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

For centuries men have been going on treasure hunts. Prospecting for Gold, mining precious metal and gemstones is a test of one’s patience.  You will read about the one person that found a large nugget or a sizable gemstone, but there are many prospectors that went broke without ever finding anything of worth.

Maybe everyone should spend more time reading the Bible… The Word of God said:

Ezekiel 47:12

Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”


EVENING:

Hardship can be a treasure:  just like undergoing training. So, look at what we consider adverse situation to be a ‘rehearsal’ for Victory.  The best runners do a lot of training and their discipline will only yield benefit through a regimental training which is voluntary.  The discipline of the Lord is ‘mandatory’ as we all need to know when we get there to thank Him and not have to go back through the re-training.

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

Instant gratification can come from playing a scratch-off game and winning a prize, and other forms of receiving what we refer to as ‘just a moment in time’. As statistics point out that…

As compiled by the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) stating that 70 percent of lottery winners end up bankrupt in just a few years after receiving a large financial windfall.

Here’s a way that the ‘financial-windfall’ can give you total satisfaction, if you won the jackpot, just donate it to a worthy cause, and you have gained everything and there nothing to worry about. Why? Because prior to winning you did not have the windfall money, so giving it away you are just yourself with nothing to lose.

To donate away the financial windfall it would be a major decision, but if you will be falling into the 70% bracket of going into bankruptcy in a few years, why win it? Or why keep it and let it influence you to go broke?

The above exercise of futility just proved that worldly instant gratification will not last.

Only what’s done for Christ will last, a well-known statement by CT Studd was a missionary to Africa, India and China who gave away his large inheritance and fortune to orphanages and the needy.

An excerpt on C.T. Studd’s life:

Charles Thomas Studd ("C.T. Studd") was born in England in 1860, the son of wealthy Edward Studd, who had made a fortune in India. Charles Studd liked sports just like most young men. He had a passion for cricket because it was the most popular sport in England at the time. His older brother Kynaston Studd, was a member of the Cambridge cricket team and well known. C.T., however, wasn't a great athlete but determined to master the sport. He would practice for hours, using a mirror to help him adjust his swing. He kept away from any harmful habits that may diminish his cricket ability. Soon he began to master the sport and became the captain of his high school cricket team. In 1879, when Studd entered Trinity College of Cambridge University, his popularity as a cricket star took off. He became what others have referred to as "the Michael Jordan of cricket," a household name throughout Great Britain. He soon became the captain of the Cambridge cricket team, an idol to students and legend in his time. and he had a particular passion for cricket, the most popular sport in England at the time. Studd was claimed then, and today as the greatest player to have ever played the game. But that is just a footnote compared to what has really marked C.T. Studd's life in history.

C.T. was saved in 1878 at the age of 18 by the confrontation of a pastor, who really questioned him as to his personal relationship with Christ. Both his brothers gave their lives to Christ the same day that he did. His passion for Christ diminished as his cricket career grew in college and soon, he was hardened to spiritual things. However, in November 1883, his younger brother George got very sick and was dying. As C.T. watched in horror and grief at the suffering of his brother, he reflected, "Now what is all the popularity of the world to George? What is all the fame and flattering? What is it worth to possess the riches of the world, when a man comes to face Eternity?" With a surprising turn, God miraculously healed George and C.T. was so dramatically changed through the event that he consecrated himself to the Lord's work. The things of this world were not worthy of his life, Studd would begin to invest himself in the eternal.

We say only what’s done by the will of the Lord in His Name will last.

What’s important to you? Think beyond the immediate moment. Why? 

What’s on the immediate agenda? Today’s routine, or today’s challenges.

If you are in business, no doubt you will be depending on sales. The loyalty of your customer base is important to the on-going revenue incoming. But promises from sales representative may not be ‘bankable’ but it is the modus operandi of generating sales.

So, thinking beyond the moment is a highly necessary part of sales and marketing.

It is essential that the use of forecasting the business trends, the supply and demand and the competition.

In evaluating what is important to you, you may be dealing with a totally different agenda, an agenda without dependency on sales, but depending on maintaining a budget, keeping the status-quo, and staying well. While we stay focus on maintaining the expenses, we are told by Jesus… take nothing with us, seek His Righteousness first.

Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

In Context 

And what comes next?

Jesus said… “and all these things will be given to you as well”.

‘As-well’ mean that the primary factor is His Righteousness, and His Kingdom, then our desires are granted as well.

You may say… I have been asking for a clear pathway to success and am still waiting?

Remember the Word said…

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Why is ‘in the Lord’ the criterion above? The things? We are to trust and be in obedience to the Lord, when we do, our desires will be in sync with His Graciousness, and the desires of your heart will be granted.

The Lord wants us all to have the finest. You may see a pastor drive up in a luxury car, and most people will say… look how high he is living off his congregation. We say… Stop and look beyond the moment, look at how many NY Times best sellers did he author, and how much is made?

 Example Preacher, best-selling author and religious broadcaster Joel Osteen has signed deal with Simon & Schuster® that could bring him as much as $13 million.

So, stop and think, speak victory in Christ, no more talk of poverty, because the Lord will provide… Remember to speak blessings and prayers over our brothers and sisters for what blessing we give you also will be blessed.

When you have had great deliverances out of troubles and turmoil, remember to say…, "I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." If God is for you who can be against you?

More Than Conquerors] What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

    Gangs against God (‘GAG’) is there such a group? Yes, and let us defeat them.

Ephesians 6:12

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.   In Context | Full Chapter

The gangs against us is against God, as we are God’s prized possession.  The description of what we refer to as gangs… principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. These are greater than the local branch of any neighborhood gangs, or mafia organizations.

These gangs come in many forms. But the head of these gangs are the devil. So, knowing that the ruler of darkness takes many forms.

So, let us invite Jesus into our hearts, and He will let the Holy Spirit be indwelling in us…

Gangs were also in the form of an army, like the army of king Sennacherib that threatened King Hezekiah. Hezekiah prayed to God, and that night the angels of the Lord slewed the Syrian army of One hundred and eighty-five thousand, and Sennacherib retreated. (Excerpted from 2 Kings 19.)

Just like when Hezekiah prayed, and the Lord answered his prayer, we too will be heard.

So, today… let us overpower the gangs, as our Lord can expel them from our presence. Pray for peace, harmony and Joy to spread throughout the surroundings of all who call upon you.

Today as we start the week, for those driving our highways, let us share the road and the goodwill of the Lord, do not worry about being cut-off in traffic, just let that driver go by, because getting angry is only hurting yourself, the offender is already gone, and nothing you can do.

The same for those that gains the advantage in dealing. Just remember that all the gains in this world is for nothing as the real treasures are with Jesus.

Reality of life… What do you wish to accomplish this week? Could it be life-changing, or just another week?

There are many things that can occur for a life-changing experience…

  • career change
  • change in religion
  • changes in education
  • fall in love
  • fame
  • financial windfall
  • major change in income
  • major dietary changes
  • marriage
  • negative to positive thinking
  • positive to higher spiritual thinking

  • retirement

We choose the positive events and hope that one of more of these may come your way…  except for change of religion, as we consider religion to be a ritual, we prefer to say ‘Faith’, belief and Grace, as it is by Grace that you are saved.

Make this a week of life-changing event, coming to the Lord…

Things to know that in the realms of reality, right now is what counts; not yesterday, nor tomorrow, for we know… “Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Our Lord’s Grace and His Kindness and Graciousness are His gifts to those that serve and place Him first.

Live by the principle of… Spiritual maturity is developed by holding unto a FAITH that is FIRMLY ANCHORED IN CHRIST; and knowing that we are never on our own because Jesus is our High Priest.

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that by Your Grace we are being welcomed by You.  Lord today we bring our Visitors and we seek your Divine blessings on us all, we pray in Your Holy name and to You Lord Jesus our Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator, is the Power and the Glory, Now and Forevermore… Amen.

Making friends are easy, keeping them is another factor. Good friends are anchored by more than material gains, it’s best when founded in Christ.

Job wrote this about ‘Friends’ His friends abandoned him

Job 19:14

My relatives have gone away; my closest friends have forgotten me.

Job 19:19

All my intimate friends detest me; those I love have turned against me.

Even then, Job had ‘Fair-weather’ friends. But a true friend sticks closer than a brother.

Jesus said…

John 15:15

No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

His Faithfulness:

Action / Coming to our Lord:

A Church is not a building; it is made up of Believers in Christ, and In Christ alone. The Building is where Christians gather to Worship. As we read in Ephesians 2: 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Conclusion:

Our bodies are living Temples of our Lord…. 2 Corinthians 6:16
What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

The Good News is that Jesus is Sovereign,

He is Eternal and He loves us! and above all Jesus died and Rose Triumphantly and conquered death by taking all of our Sins on the Cross.  Yes, He died for our Sins, and he Rose from the tomb, and He Ascended to Heaven and He is on the Throne of Righteousness, and one day he will return.

Are you ready for His return? Today His Grace abounds, and His Salvation is readily available to be received.

So come to Him, and pray… Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, and I repent of my sin by accepting Your ‘Priceless-Gift, Lord Jesus Your Grace I receive and in You I place my trust. Lord direct my path as I seek a closer walk with you my Lord. I Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, Amen.

The fear of flying is twenty-five percent of travelers, the main cause is anxiety…

Fear is caused by Anxiety, and anxiety can be unfounded as it is a product of being presumptuous.

Why do we say that fear is unfounded, because we presume the negative things, by overlooking the positive things.

With God; ‘Fear’ as in…

‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom’…  Fear causes Anxiety,

The context is to be in ‘AWE’. Not like the fear of flying in turbulence, but to stop and know that He is God.  But we also have His assurance and His Peace.

God has a plan for each of us as He loves you, and His plans are fully outlined in this Best-Selling book of all times... The Holy Bible!

The Bible provides the answers to many of our everyday challenges…

The Cure for Anxiety is written in Matthew 6: 33

33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

For centuries men have been going on treasure hunts. Prospecting for Gold, mining precious metal and gemstones is a test of one’s patience.  You will read about the one person that found a large nugget or a sizable gemstone, but there are many prospectors that went broke without ever finding anything of worth.

Maybe everyone should spend more time reading the Bible… The Word of God said:

Ezekiel 47:12

Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”


EVENING:

Hardship can be a treasure:  just like undergoing training. So, look at what we consider adverse situation to be a ‘rehearsal’ for Victory.  The best runners do a lot of training and their discipline will only yield benefit through a regimental training which is voluntary.  The discipline of the Lord is ‘mandatory’ as we all need to know when we get there to thank Him and not have to go back through the re-training.

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

And what comes next?

Jesus said… “and all these things will be given to you as well”.

‘As-well’ mean that the primary factor is His Righteousness, and His Kingdom, then our desires are granted as well.

You may say… I have been asking for a clear pathway to success and am still waiting?

Remember the Word said…

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Why is ‘in the Lord’ the criterion above? The things? We are to trust and be in obedience to the Lord, when we do, our desires will be in sync with His Graciousness, and the desires of your heart will be granted.

The Lord wants us all to have the finest. You may see a pastor drive up in a luxury car, and most people will say… look how high he is living off his congregation. We say… Stop and look beyond the moment, look at how many NY Times best sellers did he author, and how much is made?

 Example Preacher, best-selling author and religious broadcaster Joel Osteen has signed deal with Simon & Schuster® that could bring him as much as $13 million.

So, stop and think, speak victory in Christ, no more talk of poverty, because the Lord will provide… Remember to speak blessings and prayers over our brothers and sisters for what blessing we give you also will be blessed.

When we have received the Favor of our Lord as He is Faithful and will grant us our request when we ask in faith, we are to pray with Thanksgiving and to use His provisions for the purpose and not turn away when we have been delivered, you are to continue to seek Him and give Him the Glory.

When you have had great deliverances out of troubles and turmoil, remember to say…, "I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." If God is for you who can be against you?

 Romans 8:31 In Context 

More Than Conquerors] What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

    Gangs against God (‘GAG’) is there such a group? Yes, and let us defeat them.

Ephesians 6:12

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.   In Context | Full Chapter

The gangs against us is against God, as we are God’s prized possession.  The description of what we refer to as gangs… principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. These are greater than the local branch of any neighborhood gangs, or mafia organizations.

These gangs come in many forms. But the head of these gangs are the devil. So, knowing that the ruler of darkness takes many forms.

So, let us invite Jesus into our hearts, and He will let the Holy Spirit be indwelling in us…

Gangs were also in the form of an army, like the army of king Sennacherib that threatened King Hezekiah. Hezekiah prayed to God, and that night the angels of the Lord slewed the Syrian army of One hundred and eighty-five thousand, and Sennacherib retreated. (Excerpted from 2 Kings 19.)

Just like when Hezekiah prayed, and the Lord answered his prayer, we too will be heard.

So, today… let us overpower the gangs, as our Lord can expel them from our presence. Pray for peace, harmony and Joy to spread throughout the surroundings of all who call upon you.

The Lord shall send His angels to surround you and protect you…’

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him And delivers them.

Today as we start the week, for those driving our highways, let us share the road and the goodwill of the Lord, do not worry about being cut-off in traffic, just let that driver go by, because getting angry is only hurting yourself, the offender is already gone, and nothing you can do.

The same for those that gains the advantage in dealing. Just remember that all the gains in this world is for nothing as the real treasures are with Jesus.

Reality of life… What do you wish to accomplish this week? Could it be life-changing, or just another week?

There are many things that can occur for a life-changing experience…

  • career change
  • change in religion
  • changes in education
  • fall in love
  • fame
  • financial windfall
  • major change in income
  • major dietary changes
  • marriage
  • negative to positive thinking
  • positive to higher spiritual thinking
  • relocation
  • retirement

We choose the positive events and hope that one of more of these may come your way…  except for change of religion, as we consider religion to be a ritual, we prefer to say ‘Faith’, belief and Grace, as it is by Grace that you are saved.

Make this a week of life-changing event, coming to the Lord…

Things to know that in the realms of reality, right now is what counts; not yesterday, nor tomorrow, for we know… “Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Our Lord’s Grace and His Kindness and Graciousness are His gifts to those that serve and place Him first.

Live by the principle of… Spiritual maturity is developed by holding unto a FAITH that is FIRMLY ANCHORED IN CHRIST; and knowing that we are never on our own because Jesus is our High Priest.

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that by Your Grace we are being welcomed by You.  Lord today we bring our Visitors and we seek your Divine blessings on us all, we pray in Your Holy name and to You Lord Jesus our Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator, is the Power and the Glory, Now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Sunday: July 21, 2019

God’s love is not ‘reckless’ His love is Faithful and eternal and well planned, never at random or aimlessly extended.

The use of Reckless in describing God’s love is totally off.  We must Worship our Lord in Reverence, knowing that God never compromised, His Holy Spirit is Divinely present when we Praise Him.  We should never use this phrase in describing God’s love, as this is sending the wrong message to our youth condoning recklessness to be acceptable.

As much as the song does give credence to our Lord, Reckless should be substituted by Faithful Love of God.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: 

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 NASB

Action/Coming to our Lord:

14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

Conclusion:

We all know of the 23rd Psalm, The Lord is my Shepherd… We think it should read; I am a sheep in my Lord’s flock, and I shall not want.  While our Lord referred to himself as a Shepherd, we preferred to put this in the context that we are sheep in His flock, why? He is the Owner of the flock, and He cares for us. No, we are not re-writing the Bible Text, but our Lord is the Sovereign Eternal God, and not a ‘Shepherd’ like David who was a shepherd-boy. 

So, when Jesus knocks, open the door and let Him in , His saying is faithful, and all what is stated in Psalm 23 He will do.

Devotional for Saturday: July 20, 2019

Do something new today…. Reach out to a friend, share some Joy, see if they need help.

I once had a call that I did not know it was a ‘distress’ call. I failed to ask …

“Is there something I can do for you”, that night the person took his own life. It is experience like this that we wish we could turn back time.

Just like not making that ‘Alter-Call’ and someone in the audience wanted to come to Christ, but the service ended, and everyone dispersed.  It is always good to ask… Is there something I can do for you?

We can never turn back time, imagine if we could hit the replay button and do a make-over, how wonderful this would be, we could cancel the mistakes we made, the things we did and to avoid the things that offended others. But it would also be an opportunity to have led someone to the Lord, and even saved a life.

What is the best thing you can give someone today, maybe, it is ‘Hope and Peace’

Jesus said…

Beware…  Is the light at the end of the tunnel the exit” or an oncoming locomotive?

Again, it is a Stop-Look-Listen mode, as we go about our daily lives, let’s be sure that the light is the exit from the tunnel and not an oncoming train.  Driving we cross intersections several times per day, and today while waiting for the traffic light to change some driver just pulled alongside us and ran the red-light.   Jokingly, I said that person just went on a ‘Miami-Green’ usually referred to as a red-light. 

As we once said, being cutoff in traffic causing me to miss the green-light, I consider this as a possible favor, why? Because if I had not been cut-off, crossing on a legal green-light, I would have been hit by a person that ran a red-light. So, don’t be anxious and be patient with rational thinking and remain safe.

Yes, it is the end of the tunnel, and the light shining is the Radiance of the Lord.  But our Lord will not be emerging from a tunnel, He will be coming in the Sky, and be seen from the east to the west.

Commentary:

You may wonder how can God know me an individual in a world with 7+ Billion people, how can Jesus know who I am and hear me as billions are praying simultaneously? This is probably the most troublesome question for non-believers and Atheists.  The answer is that God (Regardless of an non-believers’ unbelief) God our Creator who said “Let us” create, spoke the world into existence, and just as He and His Son Jesus with His Holy Spirit being there from the beginning of it all, their divine power of Creation is able to hear each of us, as the Divinity of God through His Holy Spirit is in each believer; and His Holy Spirit is like the Broadband ‘Wireless’ Internet that we as believer are able to speak with our God.

Who is this Jesus?  The entire Bible is all about Jesus as no one has ever seen God, except Jesus.  Jesus was there from the beginning of it all, and He is the great “I AM” The Gospel comprised of Matthew, Mark Luke and John, collectively they are ‘Proof’ of Jesus’ Birth, His Ministry and His Crucifixion and then as Testimonies of His Divine Resurrection.  The Book of Acts then testified to Jesus post Resurrection spending time with His Disciples and then His Ascension to Heaven.  .

The Word Became Flesh

“At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

What a glorious day it will be… Many may become complacent, as these Words in the Scriptures were written 50-70 AD which is around 1,963 years ago.  So, if you are around the age of 60 this means that you have been hearing about the return of Christ for all your life. But don’t lose heart, as the Word of the Lord will be fulfilled, and what Jesus said will occur.

Prayer: Lord Jesus… We thank You for Your Covenant of Grace, and Your Unconditional love. Lord today as we give You preeminence in our lives, we are privileged to serve, and we thank You for our Visitors. Let’s hope your week was a great one…  yet, it could be better by spreading  the Joy of Christ.

Topic:            J-O-Y: Jesus First, Others second, Yourself last

Text:              Clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature]...” Romans 13:14, (AMP)

Commentary:

John 18:36 New International Version (NIV)

 36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

How Can Jesus Be Called "King"?

Today's reading: Ezekiel 37:15-28

God promised in Ezekiel 37:24 that the chosen descendant of David, the Messiah, would be king over the newly reunited northern and southern kingdoms. Why do Christians relate this prophecy to Jesus, despite the fact that he never held this earthly title of authority?

Jesus never aspired to be an earthly king. In fact, when a throng of Jews wanted to make Jesus such a king by force, he withdrew to a mountain by himself to avoid them (see John 6:15). Jesus clearly said, "My kingdom is not of this world ... my kingdom is from another place" (John 18:36). It is in this heavenly kingdom-a place where every believer will one day reside, a place where God's laws will finally be perfectly enforced-that Jesus reigns. Jesus knew that after his life on Earth, he would return to heaven to sit at God's right hand, where he would reign eternally as the unchallenged King (see Matthew 26:64Acts 2:32-35). One day all will acknowledge his supremacy, all will submit to his authority, all will acknowledge him as Lord (see Philippians 2:9-11). Indeed, he already rules and reigns as a royal king over countless millions of people from every nation under the sun who have given him their total allegiance and loyalty.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

ISAIAH 55:

6 Seek the LORD while he may be found;

   call on him while he is near.

7 Let the wicked forsake their ways

   and the unrighteous their thoughts.

Let them turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on them,

   and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Conclusion:

Today by His Grace and by the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus and by His Divine Resurrection, we can Trust in His Assurance that he came to Redeem us, and again we need to be reminded that we Need His Redemption as ‘We are all Sinners” and the most important thing of all we are created in His Likeness, and as such; we will live forever.  This is the reason when we all need His Redemption, if Death was the end and we knew no more upon dying, this could be an easy way out, but The Bible said, after our earthly death there is a Judgment and then we will be given what we due.

For those that have not received Jesus and His Blood of Atonement, they will be destined to a place of eternal damnation where it is like dying but never really dead, for those that have come to Him and accepted His Salvation by Accepting His Redemption and in Faith trust Him and confessed that “I am a Sinner” there will be NO condemnation, and in fact we will not even face the Judgment, as we are already in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Father in Jesus we come knowing that our Lord Jesus rose triumphantly, and You Lord Jesus sits on the Throne of Righteousness and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved. Your Divine Grace and Your Eminence and Sovereignty was revealed to man over 700 Years before You came to Redeem us. Devotional for Thursday July 18, 2019

‘No Charge’ it’s all paid, surprise someone… Paying for the person behind you.

Have you ever done this… long ago my friend had a habit of depositing the token in the toll machine for the person behind him, he did this just to see the surprising face of the driver behind him.

As we read about the pioneering ministry of great missionaries, we must thank the Lord for them and, ask; Lord use me too…

12 But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction, 13 and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Live in peace with one another.

Commentary:  When King David died, Solomon ascended to the throne and carried on the work of building the Temple. In today there are no kingdom compared to that of David & Solomon. However, there are ‘Kingdom-work’ that are truly engaged in the work of the Lord… Dawson Trotman the founder of The Navigators was taken home to be with the Lord in 1956 while the Navigators was yet a young growing organization, today it is a worldwide organization. Dwight Moody the founder of Moody Bible Institute was taken home; but Moody Institute and a worldwide broadcasting can be heard around the world.

An Ethiopian Receives Christ – Acts 8: 25-40

25 So, when they had solemnly testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they started back to Jerusalem, and were preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.

26 But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip saying, “Get up and go south to the road that descends from Jerusalem to Gaza.” (This is a desert road.) 27 So he got up and went; and there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure; and he had come to Jerusalem to worship, 28 and he was returning and sitting in his chariot, and was reading the prophet Isaiah. 29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go up and join this chariot.”30 Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” 31 And he said, “Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. 32 Now the passage of Scripture which he was reading was this:

“He was led as a sheep to slaughter;
And as a lamb before its shearer is silent,
So He does not open His mouth.

Who will relate His generation?

From that event The Gospel of the Good News was brought to Ethiopia, today there are many followers of Christ still in the land of Ethiopia.

China a land with 1.351 Billion people today with an estimated Christian population of approximately 159 million* Christians in China as of 2013.  J. Hudson Taylor: A Pioneer Missionary an English missionary to China. Founder, China Inland Mission. Taylor spent five years translating the New Testament into the Ningpo dialect. At his death in 1905, there were 205 stations with 849 missionaries, and 125,000 Chinese Christians in the China Inland Mission.  The  China Inland Mission was the largest mission agency in China, and it is estimated that Taylor was responsible for more people being converted to Christianity than at any other time since Paul the Apostle brought Christian teaching to Europe. Out of the 8,500 Protestant missionaries that were at one time at work in China, 1000 of them were from the CIM.[17] It was Dixon Edward Hoste, the successor to Hudson Taylor, who originally expressed the self-governing principles of the Three Self-Patriotic Movement , at the time he was articulating the goal of the China Inland Mission to establish an indigenous Chinese church that was free from foreign control.

Noteworthy…  There are now more Christians in China than in the United States, but this number still represent only about 11% of China's 1.4 billion people. As large as the Lord's harvest is in China, it has only just begun.

EVENING:

Let us pray for a spiritual awakening in the USA… are we becoming a nation of ‘stiff-necked’ people with ‘Idols’… just like the Israelite when they came into Canaan they assimilated and adopted paganism.  We all know the story of the Babylonian’s capture of the northern portion of the land of Judah, let us avoid this by turning to our Lord.

Our idols are not the idol to the ‘Un-known God’ like what was found in Corinth, is it our cars, our house, our jobs, our prized possessions? It’s not too late for America or Britain or anywhere where Christianity is on the wane.

Statistic says that there are more Christians today, let us Praise our Lord Jesus because of our Love not because of what He provides by His Providence He gives what we need because He loves us, so we must Love Him first and then thank Him for His Providence.

Do not void the Warranty… Remain true, stay the course…

Fact:   Did you know you came with a Lifetime Warranty?  Register it today…

The ‘Lifetime’ warranty issued on a product that you purchased covers the period of your lifetime or the product’s lifetime.  We believe it is the owner’s lifetime. Or more the lifetime of the manufacturer.  Try redeeming the ‘Lifetime’ warranty on any product after 10 years, it will be one of two results, the manufacturer no longer is in business, or there is a ‘Pre-rated’ scale that charges a per-year fee and to get the new replacement is like purchasing a new item. These are the hidden clauses in man’s warranty program.

With God, you are ‘Unconditionally’ covered under a ‘Full-Replacement Guaranty Assurance” plan. Because you have been ‘Redeemed’ and fully covered by His Eternal Grace.

Man’s Lifetime Warranty that will still runs out. But God’s Assurance will never end, it is forever!

Text:  2 Corinthians 8:9 New King James Version (NKJV) 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

Commentary:

Jesus our Lord and Savior came to reconcile us to the Father our Creator, but before we can come to the Father we had to be cleansed by His Blood.  Soldiers returning from the frontline of battle were usually covered with blood sustained in battle, before going in front of the King they had to be cleaned up and made presentable. Mankind is in this state with stains from our sins. Therefore, God will not see us in our sin filled state. Thus, Jesus came to Redeem us, ‘Redeem’ means we were lost in Sin, and by the Redemption through Jesus we who have accepted His Redemption can now come into the presence of God through Jesus.

The ‘SEAL’ of Assurance from our Lord is Unconditional, and it is perpetual for infinity…What is our Savior providing?  He made a way for His ‘Seal’ paid for by His Blood that was shed at Calvary for us, and this is His Deposit for a ‘More’ Abundant Life.  Just as Jesus said… He came that we may have life and have it ‘more’ abundantly.

Commentary: The Egyptians placed grains in the hands of their mummies; as told by Jesus…  Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

So, we see that the grains in the hands of the mummy remained alone and never reproduces.

When Jesus said…  “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain”; Jesus was using this as a metaphor of His Crucifixion declaring His Triumphant Resurrection… His reference to…” If it dies, it produces much grain was a declaration of His Saving Grace through His Blood of Atonement.  We who are washed in His Blood through His Holy Spirit, His blood is a SEAL applied on each of us as a ‘Deposit’ paid by our Lord. We are bought at a price, a price so astounding it’s Priceless but He gives it ‘Free’ and He is ready to place this ‘Deposit’ on you making you eligible to be with Him in His Kingdom. A place Jesus called ‘Paradise’

The Lord will separate the wheat from the chaff… what are we Grains or Chaff?  Today let us be Seeds worthy of our Savior’s Showers of Blessing.   His mercies endure forever upon His people.

Wealth versus Grace, which do you choose? Grace is sustainable, choose it…

Matthew 6:19-21 

Treasures in Heaven] “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

The Grace of the Lord is eternal…

Focus:        Remember the closer you get to the Lord the harder the devil works to cause you to stumble.

Sometimes I would wonder how men like Dwight L. Moody, Charles Spurgeon and pioneers like Hudson Taylor and like my God father the Revered Gallimore, and how they ever got their mission accomplished.

Dwight Moody without a formal education ending school in the 5th grade became a shoe-salesman and was saved by his uncle that sought him out and led him to the Lord. Young Moody knew exactly what he wanted to do, and this was to lead souls to Christ.  Spurgeon was an anointed messenger for the Lord, and he filled great churches when he preached.  Hudson Taylor created the China-Inland Mission and started the training of missionaries to capture the hearts of generation of Chinese for Christ, and my God-Father Rev. Gallimore who led my family to Christ and my beloved father together with Gallimore started a Mission and this mission today is considered a mega church still leading people to Christ.

Reflecting back on the above servants of the Lord somehow the fiery-darts of the evil one did not hit the targets… as today we continue to serve our Lord through this modest outreach, we seek the armor of the Lord and the Holy Spirit to deflect the fiery-dart of the evil one.

Count our blessings of how the love of God rescued us from an eternal damnation, many may say… what are you saying? I am a good person, I have never stolen anything, harmed anyone nor could I be considered a ‘Sinner’ If this was so, then that person is saying Jesus lied… we could only sympathize with that person, as the bible said… Proverbs 1:7

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Because of the Lord of God, and knowing Him we can say we know the end because we read the book and the book is the Word of God, and God said…

And being ‘good’ is not good enough, so God made a way for us to come to Him…

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

Principle:  We can never be good enough to enter the Kingdom of God, but He loved us so much that He extended His Grace, and His Grace is Sufficient for us.

  Therefore, rest assured that only as Jesus said… ‘You must be Born-Again’.  In fact, Jesus said ‘Unless” you are born-again you shall not enter. Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

Jesus said...John 3:7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 

Today we need the Armor of God… so here Is where we will find it…

Ephesians 6:10-18 

[The Armor of God] Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. .

Unity is the Faith from being Holy, Gentleness, and Patience & Love which flow to the Fellowship and Fullness of God…

By the Law or by, Truth and Grace? Make your choice…

John 1:17

For the law was given through Moses;  grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Choose Jesus, as He is Himself God.

In a world that is driven to excel and compete in business, schools, sports, and not to mention the political landscape, we are constantly bombarded by the excess of commercials, selling the look better, and the feel better remedies and the buy this and buy that to improve our lives. How much is enough?

We know that the advertisers are focused to get you to buy. Every campaign alludes to a promise, but the statement by our Lord Jesus is not a promise it is a Covenant.  A covenant is an agreement with specific terms; as Jesus Himself said:

Jesus’ Covenant with Mankind:

John 16 (NIV)

John 16. 16 Jesus went on to say, “In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”

2 Peter 3:8
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
Jesus foretold the future, which is relative to our current time, as we see the events of the world… Christians persecuted and killed, Jesus said; ‘the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God’, yet Jesus did say… in Verse 7. “But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you”.

Bring your Bible to church, it is your familiar weapon of choice.

Practice becomes perfect… orchestras spend hours practicing.

Why is your doctor referred to a medical practitioner?

Are doctors practicing or are they trained?

The difference of being a MD versus a PhD,  both are doctors, but you would not go to a PhD to get medical treatment.

Your Bible is your textbook, it contains the teaching from the almighty, God’s commandments and it outlines the rewards and the penalty that He will hand out.

Knowing your Bible and where to find answers is essential as a child once said in Bible study, ‘Only God could write a book like this’

Bringing you own Bible is like taking your own gun to the range.

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Principle: Romans 8: 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

To willfully sin, we will read below, that there will be no more Sacrifice for us, and the consequences are also written below.

Hebrews 10:25-27  (NASB)

25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Christ or Judgment

26 For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins

The Bible also tells us… That our God is a God of Consuming Fire:

28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; 29 for our God is a consuming fire.

 

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Even though we are Sinners, our Lord came and through His Redemption we can have Victory, and in Him our Victory is forevermore…

Deliverance from Bondage

Stand firm, stand your ground, rebuke the evil one in the Name of the Lord.

Know this that the devil cannot use you unless you grant permission, so be on your guard and rebuke the evil one in the Name of Jesus, the Christ.

Know this…  He (Jesus) is the solution to the conflicts among us. Be in harmony in Christ.

While we seek Solutions… remember Jesus said:

Devotional for Friday: July 12, 2019

It’s your brother, he isn’t heavy, it’s a Joy to go the extra mile…

Proverbs 18:24 New International Version (NIV)

24 One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin,
    but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. – 2 Corinthians 2:15

What is the message from the above text? We are to God someone special… someone with the sweet aroma, not e aroma of a great bowl of your favorite dish, but the aroma of our Living-Savior Jesus in the spiritual realms.

What a privilege the Father has given us… just think on the following:

To be called a child of the Most High

To be set apart as a member of a Royal Priesthood

To be immune from the Wrath of God, as said…

Romans 8:1

Life Through the Spirit ] Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Fact:

What good is a beautiful car that is not reliable? The same for a person, but a person can change.

In Cars, all brands are featured in the ‘Un-Reliable’ line up, including all luxury German and British made, so, this means… Cars are all man-made, so they are prone to problems.  But a person is ‘God-Made’ and even then, there is a certain level of un-reliability there.

In life, there is always a ‘Catalyst’ which is defined as…

a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change.

Or a person or thing that precipitates an event.

So, what drives us to buy a luxury car? Is it prideful? Or is it because we need a more reliable car? We already found the answer to reliable luxury vehicles; they all have problems.  Therefore, it may be a class status bordering on pride. 

In humans, they catalyst that may cause unreliableness could be several factors, and one of the core factor is ‘Sin’.

You may say I was born a perfect human being, healthy, agile, active and I excel in sports and all physical and scholastics events.  The Good News is this core blemish can be removed, not ‘covered-up’. God said He will remove the stigma of sin as far as the east is from the west, and above all. He will not remember it anymore.

So, what?  I have been washed in the Blood of Christ and according to His covenant of Redemption, I have confessed my sins, and am forgiven according to the Grace of the Lord. But I am still in some ways unreliable… Know this ….

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

God’s Providence is on display… find it and receive your share…

The Providence of the Lord is on display, it is not in showrooms like a new car, or on shelves like in the food stores. But it can be seen all around.

Sometimes you may wonder about the person driving the shiny new sport car and living in a mansion, and yet, he has a reputation of being an unscrupulous businessman.

Do not envy that person, because his comfort in his ill-begotten wealth is only temporary.

A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better

Commentary

Remember, when we suffer losses because of being plundered, the Lord replaces your losses with an abundant helping of His glorious providence.

Can you imagine that when you arrive in Heaven you meet this fellow who said…’Let me tell you how I got here’ I made it on my own, because I am the greatest.   Mohammed Ali once said:” I am the Greatest” but remembering that we are mere humans, created in the Likeness of God… but we are born with a blemish.  This blemish is ‘sin’ as by one made sin entered into the world, and by One Redeemer we are saved.

The ‘Chaff’ versus the ‘Grain’ – Let us be the ‘Seed’ of a bountiful harvest.

Be the seed that will grow and bear much fruit.

Remember you are an ambassador for Christ, a Living Temple and a chosen generation.

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

Question… How can I help? When was the last time you asked this question? Do it more often and see…

Rendering help is a privilege, it is almost an obligation, but voluntary.

The coming Famine… It is a Famine of the Word of God.

A Brief Bio of Amos:  Amos was a contemporary of Hosea and Jonah. He lived in the town of Judah, close to Bethlehem and about 11 miles from Jerusalem. His writing is dated around 760-750 BC. This makes his statement below approximately 2,760 years in history. We read of the coming ‘Famine” of not a famine of food, but a famine of the words of the Lord.

The news item below is like a trickle that turns into a tidal wave and eventually a Tsunami, just like a ‘Spark’ that kindles into a forest fire, so will the suppression of the Gospel and the word of God be targeted.

“The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord,
  “when I will send a famine through the land—
not a famine of food or a thirst for water,
    but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord. 
12 People will stagger from sea to sea
    and wander from north to east,

This is how they reacted to Amos…

Amos 7: 12-15

12 Then Amaziah said to Amos, “Get out, you seer! Go back to the land of Judah. Earn your bread there and do your prophesying there. 13 Don’t prophesy anymore at Bethel, because this is the king’s sanctuary and the temple of the kingdom.”

14 Amos answered Amaziah, “I was neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore-fig trees. 15 But the Lord took me from tending the flock and said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to my people Israel.’ 

Commentary:

Human philosophy tries to answer questions as: “How did man develop into what he is at present? Or: “How did social conditions develop into their present state?” God’s word gives us the true answers. The present condition of the world system finds its real explanation in the corruption of human nature.

If man could be transformed back into a “Good” being, evil would cease to exist. But this is what the Bible said…Matthew 15:18
But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man.

His Promise:  Our Lord said there will be wars, and rumors of wars, nation will rise up against each other. Knowledge will increase, and people will be moving to and from… Historically we had wars in Syria, and today we have a civil war in this same place, why because of the one factor… Mankind, really nothing has changed as the behavior of the human race continues with the principle of an inherent factor… Sin

His Faithfulness: God loves us all, regardless of our background, and this is the Good News to all, Jesus came to save Sinners, and regardless of us being: a Moslem, an Atheist, Jewish of a non-believer, Christ died for the sins of all, you may notice that Christian was not among the mix, why we are called Christians only after one has come to the Lord, being born in a so-called Christian society do not make one a Christian. 

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come to Praise You Father. Lord Jesus we acknowledge that you are interceding for us, and as our Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Father we seek You Lord and seek a close walk with You. Lord bless our Visitors and lead us to Green Pastures and Still Waters in this life as the challenges are plenty. Lord we look to that day when we shall see You as You are, Lord we Pray in Your Name, and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Spending your most precious asset, do not waste it, it is your ‘Time’

Time is a precious commodity; it is sold by the hour. An example, the law firm for one of our business charges $1,250 per hour.

Time when spent cannot be redeemed, it is lost.

For humor, we will mention the story of someone that died and was waiting to be admitted through the gate, he was kept waiting. So, he asked St. Peter why he was waiting? St. Peter said we are looking for a special place for you, the person said why? St. Peter said, you are the oldest person ever to enter, the middle-aged attorney replied, I am only 55 years old, St. Peter said, not the way that you billed your client, it seems like you are several hundred years old.

On a more serious note…

When Jesus asked the Father…

Matthew 26:39

He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.

Reading the above text, Jesus was not asking the Father to allow Him to remain by avoiding the Crucifixion? No, Jesus was referring to the ‘Wrath of God’…

Know this… Our Lord endured it all… even unto death, but He Rose from death, and so will all in Christ

Christ died for us, He endured it all, and even today our Lord is enduring our sins… Our best is not enough, because our righteousness is just a filthy rag.

But the Good News… Christ died for our sins and it is by His Grace that we are saved.  This may sound like it is a given… but it really isn’t. But the Grace of God is freely given through Jesus our Redeemer.

All we must do is come to Him, ask the Lord to receive you and let His Holy Spirit surrounds you and guide you as you ask for forgiveness and repent of our sins. Ask to be equipped with His armor….

One lesson in life, as a CEO we need to be surrounded by good capable people, no dead wood should be tolerated, to grow we need cultivation, nurturing and unity.   The same is asked of our Lord.   Jesus is supreme, while He can ‘Command’ He prefers for us to be willing rather than being submissive. He wants us to come on our own accord. 

If your dog keeps barking at you and is hostile towards you, and to tame him you must punish him, then this is not love.  Fortunately, the nature of a dog is to respect its master.  We may say dogs have low self-esteem, probably not; inherently dogs are very intuitive, and they can sense your love for them.


Dog can sense when there is family chaos, they can even sense certain illness, they can sniff out drugs and they are great companion.  One could say that a dog has a sixth sense and they see thing in ultraviolet light, and they could be the first heat-seeking device.

The wonder of this universe the creation by an awesome God, who else could have made such function with the ability that we mere humans could be enlightened… Only the Almighty Jehovah-Jira, Elohim, Yeshua… Jesus in the Triune God.

Remember, Jesus said before Abraham was, he was, and He is the Great “IAM”. He is Supreme who came, and He represents the invisible God that no one has ever seen, only He has seen the Father.

Commentary

Being falsely accused is a bad thing, and what’s worse when the lie continues…

Don’t lose faith, or as the world would say… don’t lose face but continue to do what’s right.

Things to consider… share this with your Pastor.

For Pastors and leaders…. two things to ponder… In our prayers, Jesus is always present, so we always end our prayers by telling Him… “In you Name we pray”. Not the third-party inference of: “in Jesus name we pray.

Secondly…? If we do not do the alter call, we must end with the Lord’s Supper. If we don’t. How would a pastor feel if someone in the audience wanted to come to Christ, but the service ended and while that person who wanted to accept the Lord was walking to his car he was hit and died? This happened when Dwight Moody one night did not do the alter call and it was the night of the great Chicago fire and many perished. He never ended another sermon without the alter call.

The Providence of the Lord is unlimited, and it is readily available, and always on time.

What is Providence?

Think on this today:
Why do we have challenges in our daily lives? is there a force that likes to impede our progress? Remember the closer you get to the Lord the harder the devil works to cause you to stumble, because he knows that you are loved by The Lord and he wants to take you away. This is the work of evil, and we must recognize this, and walk in the Light, and the Light is Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Jesus said My Peace I give... and the Peace is not like what man give...

God’s Plan = TRUTH – Man’s Plan = Hidden Agenda


Focus:   The science of marketing used by media giants today is significantly dependent on ‘Tracking’ your search and shopping habits. The new Chip in your Credit Card; EMV -- which stands for Europay, MasterCard and Visa are a dynamic digital security method that is not constant, therefore to it is more difficult to replicate the card by a fraudster.

While the EMV Chip may be better than the data-strip cards, they may be more vulnerable to fraud as the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) can be accessed while your Card is in your pocket.

The question is… Is EMV Chip a prelude to receive a mark on the hand or on the foreheads?

Not to be fearmongering, but the ‘hidden-agenda’ of man may be in fact the agenda of the evil one. The event of Eve being tempted by the ‘Serpent’ is being applied on a grander scale.

Truly the Word of God will prevail and what was given to John by the Lord to write in His Revelation, it appears that all of what Revelation 13: 17 said… and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or[a] the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Someone wrote that she declined her credit card with a chip, she later discovered that she could not access her bank account.  The hidden agenda is starting to be revealed.

We may say let’s hope this isn’t so… but we may ask’ are we there yet?  At this point the only sure thing is…’The King is Coming’

To our Lord there is nothing Spooky and unsettling… His divine Grace was displayed here on earth at Calvary… There is nothing spooky but all Divine… The Curtain separating the Inner Sanctum of the Temple was torn when Christ said…” It is Finished” the Sun went dark for three hours, a darkness that was without shadows.  He Rose from the Dead on the Third Day, He Ascended into heaven by Levitation. 

So, our Prayers and Brain waves are heard by our Lord even a billion all at once but individually for each of us.

Use this Divine Power that our Almighty God gave us, and not only did He give us this power He gave us an even higher power to ‘elevate’ us to Him through His Son Jesus whom He made the Sole Mediator between us and God.

Devotional: Heavenly Father because no one has even seen You except Your Son, and Jesus my Lord we are privileged to be in Your Holy presence by Your Holy Spirit. It takes money to get things done, who will provide it for the Lord’s work?

Getting even the smallest of endeavor requires capital. So, when we see the church campus, the buildings and the lighting, air conditioning and neat landscaped grounds, let us appreciate it.

Seek His Green Pastures and Still Water, get to where ‘Less is ‘More’.  The simple life is the desire of many city folks

Focus:            The Good News for today are:

  “The battle is not yours, but God’s. … Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.” 

Text: “Do not be terrified. … The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you” (Deuteronomy 1:29-31). 

“All this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47). 

Commentary:

Keep Asking, Seeking, knocking:  “ASK” Luke 11: 9-12

“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

Verse 6: Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition (a defined request) with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God.

Give thanks to our Faithful Lord and Savior as He provides all our needs… as stated in:

19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Principle:

Our Lord’s Grace and His Kindness and Graciousness are His gifts to those that serve and place Him first.

Live by the principle of… Spiritual maturity is developed by holding unto a FAITH that is FIRMLY ANCHORED IN CHRIST; andknowing that we are never on our own because Jesus is our High Priest.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Things to know that in the realms of reality, right now is what counts; not yesterday, nor tomorrow, for we know…“Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Is anyone facing the need for His Supplication? Money, Loneliness, Family’s faith, Concerns for our future & seeking a closer walk with the Lord? All the answers lie in Jesus our Redeemer, as He knows what we have need of; all we have to do is ‘ASK’ in HIS Name…

Remember Jesus loves you, and knowing this to be the Truth, You should not be in need… Just like Psalm 23 said… A Psalm of David.

 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 
  he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; 
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, 
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord we thank You for Your Divine Grace and we thank You for Your love and the privilege of serving You Lord for Your Glory.  To You Lord Jesus we go in faith and as we bring Your message of the Good News we thank You for our Visitors and we Praise You Lord. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Monday: July 1st, 2019

How can one be Holy in a world like this?

1 Peter 1:16

because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

Coping with the anxieties of this world, today we have a HERO… and our Hero is our Sovereign God.

The Supremacy of God… a forgotten fact among many today; since the beginning of history humans all over the world have sought to achieve greatness on their own. In recent times, we have seen the tyrants of the world, the exploiters of their own, and the persecutors of others and especially against Christians in certain parts of the world.

As the age of information came, so did the rise of the anxiety meter of most individuals, we are bombarded with news and reports of violence and constant conflicts among nations and an array of world events that are making the “Days of Noah” appear to be more like a simpler time… really? No, the human traits have not changed only more amplified and expanded to a greater extent.

All of what we read, see and hear of the conflicts and events are all ‘Self-inflicted’ why? if we were to turn from all our wicked ways and come to God and adopt His teaching and apply it to our neighbors, then there would be brotherly love and peace would prevail among all, then why not just do this and let us experience peace?

Can we ever achieve real harmony? If the answer is no, then there is virtually no hope for a peaceful life, but we can attain real harmony, but can it be sustained? Yes and no, please do not be confused by this paradox of yes and no.  No; because all events are subject to the interference of the devil that intervenes, and Yes, we can have harmony, if we have the Armor of God to protect us from such interference of the evil one.  

In live we can choose to be the victor or the victim, and the choice to this is simple, we all would choose to be ‘Victors’  It is amazing why more of us are not choosing to be victors and continuing to allow ourselves to face the lack of Harmony in our life. 

The apostle Paul wrote, "Being confident of this, that He (God) who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6). 

Yes, you can be Holy, because…

Bless our Visitors and grant us all You Providence, as we Praise You. Lord Jesus You are pre-eminent in our lives, now and forevermore… Amen.
