Topic:  Having a fulfilled life with hope is a gift, share it with others that your fulfillment will be expanded.

Focus:  What God gives you will last but there is a caveat… Seek Him and His Kingdom first and what you receive will last forever…

Thoughts for the Day:    Who can you help today, or from whom do you need help?

TEXT:  Romans 3:24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,Romans 3:23-25 (in Context) Romans 3 (Whole Chapter)

Good News:  2 Corinthians 2:14

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

2 Corinthians 2:13-15 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 2 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:  A young man whose mother loved the Lord and taught him about the love of Christ, but this young man went off to college, became a physician buy never followed his mom’s leading. While in internship at a hospital where we saw a lot of accident victims; there was a man who suffered a mighty fall who was not going to make it.  This man was conscious so the young physician asked is there anyone that he would like to notify to come and visit him, the injured man said he had no relative, but he would like his landlady to come and see him so that he could pay what he owed before dying.

The young physician called the landlady who came a few times, the man died peacefully, the physician was asked; what should they do with a bible that they found that the man was reading, the physician said he would take it as the man had no relative.

Taking the Bible the physician opened the bible and found that this was a bible his mom gave him, when he went off to medical school that he sold. The physician’s name was written inside the front cover written by his mom. He was shocked because of the coincident of this bible coming back to him. He took it home and read all the passages that the man had underlined.  The young physician was led to the Lord after realizing the Word of the Lord and the unconditional love of God.

Sometime in our life when we offer to help someone, we ourselves get more benefit returning to us.  The incident of this young physician’s life’ experience of this accident victim owning a Bible that was owned by the young physician was a divine interaction of the Lord in the life of this young physician; whose mom was fervently praying for her son to come to Jesus.

Once thing for sure, the Lord answers prayers, and He never forgets, He is Omniscient, He is Omnipotent and our Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.

Do not neglect to entertain strangers, because somewhere or sometime an angel of our Lord will be sent to you…

The NKJV Bible mention the presence of Angels 190 times. One of the most profound visit of an angel was…Matthew 1:20

But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 1 (Whole Chapter)

The Divine Super-Natural powers of our God far exceeds our thinking abilities… so today we stand in awe of the great things our Lord has done for us; His Divine Redemption through his Crucifixion and His Triumphant Resurrection.  Knowing this we are more awe-struck that Jesus who is God Incarnate would do this for us, yes he did!  Because we are His greatest treasures, when He created us in His Likeness He said it was Good… so why did He had to die? Because mankind fell from His Grace He came to redeemed us.  Just as Jesus is of the linage of David through Joseph His earthly father that fulfilled the prophecy written over 700 years before Christ was born, we are descendant of Adam whom He created, and by the sin of Adam we are all sinners.

EVENING:

What a privilege our Lord has given us… Through His Death and Resurrection we have His Divine Redemption. You may say…why do I need to be redeemed? I am going to die someday and what do I know or care?  Guess what? You will never die, because you are carefully and wonderfully made in the Likeness of God, and as such we will never die. The Word of God said… It is appointed unto to man to die once and after that the judgment; here we see a very contradictory statement, how can you be around for the judgment if you died?  Because we really never die, and even after the judgment we will live forever.

In Christ we will have a life of Splendor, without Christ we are separated from God forever in a place of desolation.

Modern man will say… how can a loving God put him in a place of perpetual desolation (Hell) Yes, He will as His ‘Fair-Warning’ will end on the Day of the Lord. And the Bible also tells us that …  Peter 3:10

[The Day of the Lord] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.2 Peter 3:9-11 (in Context) 2 Peter 3 (Whole Chapter)

Our Lord is a Loving God but He is also a God of a consuming fire.  Hebrews 12:29

For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:28-29 (in Context) Hebrews 12 (Whole Chapter)

Friends today our message is a little mix of ‘Fire and Brimstone' tone, but there is GOOD NEWS Because He is ready to receive you and make you a Victor and not a Victim…

2 Corinthians 8:9

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:8-10 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 8 (Whole Chapter)

2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:7-9 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 9 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your assurance that in You Lord we have peace and in You we have Victory. Lord we thank You for interceding for us to the Father as no one comes to the Father unless through Your Lord. Lord today we thank You for the privilege of serving You and bringing Your Good News to may for Your Glory. Lord bless our many Visitors and grant Your Favors upon us all as we go in faith. Lord we thank you for Your Grace as we call upon Your Name and to You Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday June 29th, 2016

Morning:

Topic:  Turning back time, something we all wish we could do.  Do what is needed before it’s too late

FOCUS:  Time is precious, once lost it can never be regained. Live at the moment while looking to Jesus

Planning ahead is a good thing to do… making rash decision and uttering harsh words are things you cannot withdraw. So knowing we cannot turn back time, let us do what is needed before it’s too late.

Here are a few things we should do…

  • Tell your spouse and your children that you love them and God loves them too
  • Listen to the call of the Lord as you are called to be set aside and have a splendid future with Him
  • Reach out to others and spread the Good News

TEXT: Romans 8:28 [Full Chapter]

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

If you could turn back time and had one wish, what would that wish be?

There are moments in our lives that we wish we could relive and many of us may have something in common…We live in a world that is always on the ‘brink’. We are sold computers that are almost ‘outdated’ by the time you have unpacked it. Our vehicles are equipped with ‘intuitive’ software that will self-park and stop for an oncoming obstacle.  But choosing the era that we would like to live in is still a fantasy. But when you know Christ He chose a place of Splendor for you.

So turning back time you may want to use that time for good and to use the time to retract or avoid a mistake made in the past. While we cannot turn back time, we can look forward to using the time at hand for good and to plan ahead to use the future for the things that we should have done. Unfortunately, there are things that we cannot undo or relive but we can interpose them at this moment knowing that all things work together for good to those that love the Lord…

Commentary:  Time is something that we can never regain, yesterday is gone, today in now and tomorrow is something we don’t have until it arrives. To Sojourn is to be travelling on a temporary basis. Our life through this world is a temporary sojourn.  Because we are in transit with the ultimate switch to a destination that is unknown.

Today as we sojourn let us enjoy the journey, yes this journey can be very enjoyable, regardless of what life throws at you; we believers have nothing to fear.   When we live by the precepts of our Lord… as Jesus said: Do Not Worry

Matthew 6: 25-34 (Jesus was speaking)

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

EVENING: Let us spend this moment Praising our Lord and thanking Him for His mercies and His Divine Redemption.

1 John 4: 1-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. In Context | Full Chapter |

And the Apostle Paul wrote; in whatever state we are in we must be thankful.

Philippians 4: Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Jesus Messiah we are privileged to be called to love one another as You have loved us. Lord bless our Visitors and grant each and every one Your providence as we know You know our needs even before we ask or even think it.  Lord we thank You knowing that You will lead us in triumph in You our Sovereign Eternal God. Lord we thank You for the privilege of bringing Your Good News to these sites and we seek Your continued blessings that many will come to know You Lord.  Lord we give You the Glory and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and thine is the Kingdom, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday June 28, 2016

Topic:  What is the ‘Great Commission’?

No it is not a real estate brokerage commission, to be ‘commissioned’ it is an act of being trusted, to be given a privilege to serve, to produce, and to carry out a request.

The Cambridge dictionary defined Commission as… a group of people who have been formally chosen and given the authority to get information about a problem or to perform other special duties.

The Bible outlined God’s great commission as…Matthew 28:16-20 [Full Chapter]

The Great Commission] Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. ...

Jesus’ commission to His disciples… Matthew 28:  19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

To be Sent you must first be ‘Called’ and God is calling each of us.

To read a story of someone that was called to bring his family to Christ, go to:

https://books.google.com/books?isbn=1400206081

Today we will do the Railroad crossings protocol… Stop-Look-Listen, actually this is not done anymore as most railroad level crossings are automated with a traffic barrier that will signal the oncoming motorists with a flashing red-light and then the barrier is lowered.  Occasionally there is an accident, why? Because that person refuses to follow the instruction and ‘Stop’

So today… let’s stop-look-listen as Jesus is calling. We cannot mock the Lord, as the Bible said God will not be mocked… so let His Truth and Light shine in you, and all deceptions of this world will pass but His Word will never. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, He is the Son of the Living God.

Coming to Christ… The Faithfulness of the Lord…

2 Corinthians 10:4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. In Context | Full Chapter |

Application:

On a personal level we face deceptions on a daily basis. As the devil is on a constant prowl…

1 Peter 5:8 [Full Chapter] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Be armed with the ultimate weapon…

Ephesians 6: 14-17 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Ephesians 6:10-18
[Full Chapter] [TheWhole Armor of God] Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ...

Principle: Be sober, be vigilant and always inquire of the Lord and place your Trust in Christ, make Him the Author and Finisher of your Faith.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…  Lord as we seek to bring everything to You and to make You the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Lord today we thank You for this opportunity to tell of Your Divine Power and Your Everlasting Covenant to Your people that no weapon formed against us will prevail. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your blessings on us all. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday June 27, 2016

Topic:  God created us all, and all are His sheep…globally there are a diversity of religions.

FOCUS: ‘Religion’ is not Salvation, and when Jesus said… Mark 16:15

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. In Context | Full Chapter |

TEXT: John 10:15-17 New International Version (NIV)

15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again.  (As said by Jesus)

While each religious group will worship a God, Jesus said… John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and thelife. No one comes to the Father except through me. In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary:

Now all mankind is created by God as God said… “Let ‘US’ make man in our likeness… There is One God and One Mediator between Man and God, and He is Christ Jesus.  God said let ‘US” because He was talking with Yeshua/Jesus.

So knowing that God created mankind, and Jesus said…16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. John 10: 16-17

Yesterday we spoke that Jesus is the ‘Light’ of the World… as God declared “Let there be Light” and there was Light on the first day.  Remember that God created the Sun on the fourth day… Therefore, Yeshua, Jesus whom God brought with Him to create all things, as it is said in…

Colossians 1: The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the first born from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Jesus was declaring that though there be ‘other’ sheep He said;” They too will listen to His voice, and there shall be one flock as He is the Only Shepherd, and through His Crucifixion and His Resurrection when we come to Him we are now “One’ in Him.

Why do the ‘Other’ sheep need to be brought to Him, because Jesus said…

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. In Context | Full Chapter |

The Supremacy of Jesus is an undeniable fact, no one ever rose from death, only Christ Jesus.  All others are still buried in boxes made with human hands.  Jesus our Lord rose from death, seen by multitudes, walked with His disciples for forty days, then Ascended into heaven.

Knowing that Jesus said…

The Parable of the Mustard Seed

30 Again he said, “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? 31 It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth.

The mystery of Jesus’ Parable…

Matthew 17:20

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. In Context | Full Chapter |

God also called us to be set apart and He declared those that know Him through His Son Jesus, to be a Royal Priest as He said in… 1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. In Context | Full Chapter |

If we mere mortals could determine how Jesus did this, then there would be no need for the Divine Holy Messiah… Because He is God and we are not, we need to accept His calling.

Come to Christ today… Pray this Prayer… Heavenly Father in Jesus I come. Lord Jesus because You die for my sins and You have said that all who call on Your Name will be saved… Here I am Lord, without one plea… But that Thy blood was shed for me And that Thou bid'st me come to Thee O Lamb of God, I come! I come.  Lord Jesus I accept You and ask that Your forgiveness be granted me. In Your Precious Name I pray… Amen

Thank You Lord Jesus for Your Grace and Your blessings upon our Visitors. We go in Peace knowing that all things work for Good to those who love You Lord. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday June 26, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  Walk in the Light… a Non-failing Light, never needs to be recharged, always On, never fading everlasting…

TEXT: Genesis 1:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.

FOCUS:  The Sun was not placed in the heavens until the fourth (4) day….

Today as we say walk in the Light, a Non-Failing Light, this is Jesus who was declared by God on the first day of His Creation. Because Jesus is the Light of the world on the first Day, He, Jesus was and is the Supreme Eternal Son of God and He is One in the Father.

Colossians 1:17

And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. In Context | Full Chapter |

Colossians 1:16-18 New King James Version (NKJV)

16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

The Love of God…

Romans 8:35

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shalltribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Inseparable love.  The following scripture said ‘nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God’ to most of us this meaning is God loves us in spite of our waywardness.  But there is a caveat here… while the Word said ‘nothing shall separate us from the love of God’ this doesn’t mean that if you went out and committed the most violent crime of blaspheme against God and the Holy Spirt you are still immune to His wrath.  God will still love you, even when you are condemned by His wrath.

Love is boundless but not blind.  Yet through His Grace God made a way for you to receive His Grace, and only if you confess your sin and accept Him you can receive His Grace.  But to willfully sin knowing that God loves you, this is an act of mocking the Lord, and he will not tolerate such ‘willful’ abomination in His sight.

Romans 1:28 [Full Chapter] Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.

So walk in the Light and Praise the Lord Jesus for His Grace, His Love and His Redemption… and nothing can ever separate you from His love.

Romans 8:39

nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. In Context | Full Chapter

This is His command to us…

 EVENING:

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that through You our Savior we are made Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom. Today we pray that our Visitors will be guided by Your Good News and that they will be brought to You Lord; as the angels will celebrate for every sinner that repents, Lord bless this day as we go forward in Faith and knowing that all our needs are provided and we give You thanks knowing that Your faithfulness and Your Covenant will never change. The Cure for Anxiety is written in: Matthew 6: 33

33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

For centuries men have been going on treasure hunts. Prospecting for Gold, mining precious metal and gemstones is a test of one’s patience.  You will read about the one person that found a large nugget or a sizable gemstone, but there are many prospectors that went broke without ever finding anything of worth.

Maybe everyone should spend more time reading the Bible… The Word of God said:

Ezekiel 47:12

Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”

EVENING:

Hardship can be a treasure:  just like undergoing training. So look at what we consider adverse situation to be a ‘rehearsal’ for Victory.  The best runners do a lot of training and their discipline will only yield benefit through a regimental training which is voluntary.  The discipline of the Lord is ‘mandatory’ as we all need to know when we get there to thank Him and not have to go back through the re-training.

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Heavenly Father because of Jesus our Redeemer and through You Lord we have Victory and we can boldly declare that this day is the best day of all because Your Lord Jesus paid it all.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your Divine blessing on us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday June 24, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: Thinking of the ‘good Ole days’ nothing to worry about as we had the care of loving parents… you still do…

The innocence of a child, the care of loving parents and nothing to worry about.

Commentary:

Many of us are contented with the status quo in our lives, and this applies to all, a child growing up with the care of loving parents ought to be, a Teenager in senior years going unto to college starts getting a little anxious about the future, then growing into a career and getting settled a new plateau is achieved, having kids and then getting to the big 50 we then start looking at another mountain, so conquering the 60’s upwards we start to either slowdown and then our senior years set in with a view of the horizons of our future.  For many this plateau in the autumn of our lives can be a real challenge, because of the great unknown. Fortunately, for believers we can all recite the statement featured in the topic line of this narrative. Praise our Lord!

The above scenario is somewhat applicable to a better time in a world, why? could it be any of the following factors that have impacted our contentment?

•              A more informed world, because of the mass media and this information age?

•              A world of class standards and rising poverty for western civilization?

•              Separation of State and Church has been taken to the point of oblivion and absurdity.

•              A society that endorses alternative Lifestyle mocking our Lord?

•              A society that has lost the spirit of ‘Sportsmanship’ with too much emphasis on the almighty dollar?

•              Removal of Prayers in the name of our Creator and our Lord Jesus?

•              Governments with an agenda to create a secular society without recognizing our Creator?

The new ‘Godless’ Dollar coin is an explicit example, this is where America will see the Wrath of God, as we see more mass-shooting around the world. The grace of the Lord is still with His people, while many never stop to think that He is the only maker of Water the most vital of all elements to mankind. We can live without Oil, Cotton and some grains but we will never survive more than a few days without potable water.

Again we want to reconfirm that this is a ‘Good-News’ Site, so why the gloom and doom? Because there’s still hope, ‘Where there’s life there’s hope’ for many this jargon is an idiom… but for us believers it is more than Hope, it is an opportunity to call on our Lord and He will hear us… and He can do miracles in our lives as He made the Iron Axe float for Elijah, and He can do this for each of us today. He will lead us to the Still Water of Life and to His Green Pastures as we seek Him.

He created us, He gave us the abilities of:

Because we are created in His Likeness… We will also live forever, as our God is Eternal, Forever. So Choose where we will spend the glory years of our lives forever… Seek Him while He may be found…

His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 1:4

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:  Ephesians 1:3-5 (in Context) Ephesians 1 (Whole Chapter)

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

The guilty sinner flies to the cross—flies straight away to Jesus, and though Justice pursues him, Christ lifts up his wounded hands and cries to Justice, “Stand back! Stand back! I shelter this sinner; in the secret place of my tabernacle do I hide him; I will not suffer him to perish, for he puts his trust in me.”  (by C.H. Spurgeon)

For meditation: We should never be ashamed to be seen hiding behind Jesus (Mark 8:38).

Conclusion:

There’s Hope in Christ… In Him alone Romans 3:25

God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—

Romans 3:24-26 (in Context) Romans 3 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God we come into Your Holy presence. Lord Jesus today we stand at the Cross knowing that You came and Paid-It-All, and that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord all things point to the day that will be known as ‘The Day of The Lord’… By Your Grace Lord we can say come and come quickly as the prophecy of Your teaching are being fulfilled.

Father thank You in Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus, thank You for coming and thank you for Your Grace and by Your Divine Resurrection we have Victory in You. Lord as we sow the seeds of Your Righteousness, Lord let in fall on good ground and bear much fruit for Your Glory. Lord we thank You for the thousands that visited this Website as it is for Your Glory to bring many to you Lord. We ask Your blessing upon our Visitors and that all will come to You realizing Your Love and great Salvation through Your Sacrifice. Lord we are humbled by Your UN-Conditional love for us all. Lord bless us as we seek Your Divine leadership in our lives, and Your Holy Spirit to be in us, and we lift You up before all, knowing we serve you Lord Jesus our Eternal God in One of our Father and Creator and by Your Holy Spirit Lord let Your favors be granted to all.  To You Lord Jesus we give You the Praises and the Power and Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

TOPIC:  Who can we help today? Can you help someone in need of physical, spiritual or financial support? Do it…

Looking at the life of Christ during His three+ years of His Ministry… We see the Lord healing many and on occasion He would be passing a crowd and someone would call out to Him for help. It appears that the Lord was always ready to help others.

In reading the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Jesus was never in need of help even on the Cross He never called for help, only to the Father. And when Jesus said to the Father…

Matthew 27:46

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus asked… My God, why have you forsaken Me?” This was because of that ‘Divine Moment’ when Jesus took our Sins to the Cross… and The scripture said… God will not tolerate Sin. As said in John 9: 31 31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. 32 Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind.New King James Version

Only through Christ…Our Redeemer we have the privilege of coming to the Father…

1 John 5:6

Devotionals for Wednesday June 22nd, 2016

TOPIC: Now that you have wealth, self-satisfaction what more do you need? Guess what you are still lacking…

TEXT:  Luke 12:17-19 New King James Version (NKJV)

17 And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’ 18 So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.”

The statement of…” Still Lacking” follows:

20 But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’

21 “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

Place your value of the treasures in Heaven… That new car will be just a piece of metal that will be obsolete in a few years.

Your money in the bank is eroding away as inflation is eating away at it.

Only what’s done for Christ will last…

The story of the wealthy person that died and told his accountant that all his money must be buried with him, his attorney came to the burial and asked the accountant, how much money will you be placing in the grave? The account said about a million dollars, they attorney quickly pulled out his check book and wrote a check for a million dollars and said, let me have the cash and place my check in the hole.

We all need what we refer to as ‘walk-around money’… but the disciples when sent by Jesus, they were told not to take anything with them.

Luke 9:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece.

Today we reflect on the instruction from Jesus…

Matthew 6:33-34 New King James Version (NKJV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

The Faithfulness of the Father…

Philippians 4:19 [Full Chapter]

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Jesus is the Same Yesterday, tomorrow and forever…

The assurance of Jesus to His disciples not to take bread, money or even a space change of clothes, His Word still stands and we are assured of this…

Romans 8: 32-39

God’s Everlasting Love

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Praise the Eternal Father, Son and Holy Spirit.Ephesians 4:5

Devotionals for Tuesday June 21, 2016

TOPIC: To whom do you turn to when you need help? Is there a 100% ‘Self-Sufficient’ person on this planet?

Focus: No man is an island…  from a sermon by the seventeenth-century English author John Donne. John Donne’s statement still stands even today with instant Emails, the Internet and what we call the age of information.

No establishment can be an island, the growth of an industry is by market penetration, and when the product is accepted and consumed by the masses then the business achieves success. Even the spreading of the Gospels cannot be isolated, it must be taken to the ends of the earth as commanded so by the Lord.

If someone claims to be 100% self-sufficient, he must be a very lonely person. God made us in His likeness and He said it is not good for man to be alone, so He made a woman.

Jesus is our ‘Go-To’, He is our Protector our provider and our Redeemer.  In the sequence outlined Jesus protects us, and by His Providence He provides and by His Grace He saves us.

Many may say…” Why do I have to be saved?” these are the reasons…

An Animal does not have to be saved, why? Animals were created for man, and God gave us dominion of all animals.

Mankind was created by God in His Image, Mankind is the only creation that God made with His own hands.

All other creations were spoken into being.

Being made in the likeness of God, we are an exact facsimile of the Divine Almighty…

Being made in the Image of God, we too shall never die…

In life if you commit a crime and you are caught you will be punished, in the realms of the Almighty God, He sees everything and you do not have to be caught, not do you have to even commit the act, just thinking can be an act of offending the Lord.  But thinking because we are tempted, God made a way for us to overcome the temptation and relieve us of the guilt.  We have not sinned until we participate in the temptation.

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

In Context | Full Chapter |

So we all are God’s creation and as such, we will never die… therefore, the Words of God that said…

“It is appointed unto to man once to die, but after that there is a judgment”, The point is, if we will be around after the physical death, then we must come to Christ and receive His Grace…

Romans 10:13New King James Version (NKJV)

13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Hebrews 12: 23-29 New International Version (NIV)

23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

Prayers:

Heavenly Father It is with Awe that we come knowing Jesus our Redeemer rose triumphantly and sits on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity of our Father and the Holy Spirit, we come today knowing that we serve You our Living God who is Lord of lords and King of kings and You Jesus our Messiah is our Salvation.  Lord today as we go forward in Faith, grant us Your Favors and equip us as we seek to serve You and are privileged to be a Vessel bearing your Word of Life. Lord bless the visitors coming to this website and let Your Peace be upon all, as all we do is for Your Glory. Devotionals for Monday June 20th, 2016

TOPIC:  Are you living life without a care, or a life with lots of ‘care’? The difference of ‘Need’ versus ‘want’

In live there are individuals that can live their lives without a care… and some of the traits that this practice could mean that we have no concerns for others, not really.  Living without a care can still means that you care, but you have faith in the Lord who said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”.

The definition of ‘Care’ is… the provision of what is necessary for the health, welfare, maintenance, and protection of someone or something.  Application of Care does not have to be with anxiety, worry or be troubled.

Anxiety and worry is caused by self-dependency, and we all know our capacity. Our ability to be ‘on the spot’ to take care of someone is limited to our tasks that conflicts with being there for that person 24/7.

When we think that all things revolve around us and we are the prime provider and controller of events that occur in our lives, we will forever be with anxiety, worry or be troubled.

Living without a ‘Care’ is not being careless or not having concerns for others… This care-free practice can be a healthy and a practical way for us to have ‘quality’ time to do constructive things that benefits us and others.  So this oxymoron statement of being ‘Carefree’ and yet doing good for others, how can this be?  Being worrisome is like this…We can sit in a passenger seat while the Pilot is landing the aircraft, you can worry about the landing process and mentally do the check list… Airspeed, line up, flaps, leading edge, landing gears etc. while you expect these sequences to occur, nothing you do will help the pilot land that plane. So this is an example of being carefree.  Hopefully the pilot is an experienced flyer as they say… Takeoff is optional, but ‘Landing’ is mandatory.

Our Lord is Supreme, Preeminent and He has our back as he said… Cast all our cares upon Him.

TEXT:

1 Peter 5:6-8New King James Version (NKJV)

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

John 1:17-19New King James Version (NKJV)

17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom welive. In Context | Full Chapter

Jesus is our ‘Go-To’ Lord and Savior, we can come to Jesus knowing that He is ready to receive us.  “No Appointment necessary” imagine that you would like to meet the governor of your state, or the president, it will take week or even longer to get an appointment.  But Jesus said, ‘Come unto to me all those that are heavily burdened”.

We all have a standing invitation to come to Christ, and even bring Him our burdens.

Think on This:  Jesus our Lord who came to redeem us, He can to ‘Serve’ not to be ‘Served’.  Everyone of us want to be ‘Served’... be like Christ, look around as serve others by telling them of the Good News… He is Risen!

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

EVENING:

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Philippians 4: 4-7 4Rejoice in the Lord always.

Lord bless this day as thank You for the Visitors, we go forward in Faith and knowing that all our needs are provided and we give You thanks knowing that Your faithfulness and Your Covenant will never change. Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy name and to You Jesus our Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory, Now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday June 19th, 2016

TOPIC:  Celebrate life today, attend church and find ‘Oneness in Christ’ Jesus is always present and you can find Him there…

Finding the Lord today will be a blessing as there is a day coming when He will be coming to gather us all.

MORNING

Focus: Are we there yet?

Text Matthew 24 The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age

3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

Commentary: When boarding an Airplane first-class passengers are boarded first.  In Heavenly realms, the same applies.  Because there will be a rapture where those in Christ will be taken up to be with Him first. This is an event that precedes the final ‘Day of the Lord’ which will follow the ‘Rapture’. This second period will be the time of tribulation.

Beware that there will be no ‘Coach’ passengers, all in Christ are all ‘First-Class ‘there are no class system, there will be no Catholics, Presbyterians, Baptist, Methodist, Lutherans or others, only one class… Born-Again just as how Jesus told Nicodemus “You must be born-again”.

So to face the reality of what is to come, we will ask a question that pertains to right now… Who is the most important person you will meet today, who would you like to meet? Could it be a high profile celebrity and if you do what would this do for you?  But the day of the ‘Rapture’ could be today, or in an hour or less… so which boarding pass do we have? remember to Journey with our Lord there is only one-way, no alternate route, no compromise, only one Criterion! To be Born-Again or the answer is “I do not know you” So, to ‘know of’ Jesus is not enough to ‘Know Him’ and follow Him is what He said.

His instruction is very Simple…Seek Him First and His Righteousness, call on Him and You will be Saved.

You may say what are we talking about, what proof do we have, and how do we know this will occur.  First we must know the facts:

  1. We are created in the Likeness of God
  2. We are loved by our Lord
  3. Jesus came and Died and His Triumphant Resurrection was to Redeem us
  4. We are able to gain Live-Everlasting in Christ
  5. He is returning Again

Action/Coming to our Lord:

2 Corinthians 2:14

But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.

While the world undergoes the turmoil of economic woes, Europe, China, the USA and everywhere else, we have Hope (mentioned 121 times in the KJV and 159 times in the NIV Bibles.)

•.     JOY:               Joy is mentioned 244 times in the Bible, considering the announcement of our Savior’s Birth… Luke 2:10

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

•.    FAITH:            Romans 1:17

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

•.   HOPE              1 Corinthians 13:13

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

•.  TRIUMPH:     Revelation 17:14

They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

Our hope in Christ founded on…

2 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV)

14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

EVENING:

Conclusion: Matthew 24:  3-30 The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age

3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

The Great Tribulation

15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.

26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

The Coming of the Son of Man

Q29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we reflect on Your Crucifixion and Your Triumphant Resurrection, Lord we thank you for Your Graciousness and Your Love. Lord we thank You for your Sacrifice at Calvary, and Your Blood of Atonement we receive Lord as we stand in Awe knowing that Your choice was not to thwart Your persecutors as they brought You to the Cross Lord. We thank You for choosing to save us by Your Grace. Lord We give You our Praises and thank You Lord for this privilege and we ask Your blessings on our Visitors as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday June 18, 2016

Topic: A famous line…” I love it when a plan comes together” what is your plan? Tell God to make Him laughs

Focus: If our Plans were all to be materialized we would all be either ‘rich and famous’

MORNING:

Commentary: Noah did not have a Plan, he was given a Plan, the plan for the ARK was divinely designed by God.  As we like to say that…Professionals built the TITANIC but Amateurs built the ARK. But the ARK was designed by God.

Did the Flood really happen? The man who found the Titanic said it did happen…

Text:  Matthew 24:37 NKJV

But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Commentary: A flood of biblical proportions more than likely really did occur around the time Noah built his ark, says one historian, and he has proof.

Robert Ballard, who famously found the wreckage of the Titanic in 1985 and was more recently involved in the search for Amelia Earhart’s plane, says there is a very real possibility that during Noah’s time period–about 12,000 years ago–massively iced-over lands collided with the sudden rising of the Mediterranean Sea, creating a wall of water which would have wiped out everything in its path with a force 200 times greater than that of Niagara Falls.

“Where I live in Connecticut there was ice a mile above my house, all the way back to the North Pole, about 15 million kilometers; that’s a big ice cube,” he said. “But then it started to melt. We’re talking about the floods of our living history.”

Ballard has been working on an underwater expedition to prove such a cataclysmic event occurred, and says he found an ancient shoreline 400 feet below the surface of the Black Sea. Carbon dating on shells discovered there prove there was an event powerful enough to bury the shoreline around 5,000 B.C., which is the time some say Noah lived.

“It probably was a bad day,” Ballard said. “At some magic moment, it broke through and flooded this place violently, and a lot of real estate, 150,000 square kilometers of land, went under.”

Ballard doesn’t hold out hope of actually finding an ark, but he does believe there are many treasures beneath the sea around Turkey and is making plans for more expeditions there. So far he’s found pottery and an ancient shipwreck which still held the bones of its occupants. Related Items biblical flood Noah’s ark Robert Ballard titanic

Principle: The Bible said… For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 3: 20 NKJV

Father today as we go forward in faith, be with us as we ask Your Divine guidance, in Jesus name we Pray, and to You Lord Jesus be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

EVENING:

Conclusion:  We can only imagine while Noah was building the Ark, a monster ship in the middle of the country far from water, many may have said…’Is this guy nuts?”  today there are no more vessels being prepared for the coming event…

The coming event is the Day of The Lord…

The ark’s dimension was:  780 Ft x 130 Ft x 4 Floors = 405,600 SF or 9.53 Acres in Floor areas.

A Cubit =20.8      Inch

450 Ft    Long=    9360 Inches =      780 Lin. Ft

75 ft        Wide=    1560 Inches =      130 Lin Ft.

Ark Dimension                    Floor Area            101,400 SF

                                Floors    4              =405,600 SF

                                Acres     Tot          9.53       Acres (Equivalent)

Average WALMART Supercenter = 197,000 SF

Ark was approx two S/Centers                     2.06       Supercenters

The SS Ron Reagan Aircraft Carrier = 139,360 SF / Floor

Observation The ARK was almost 75% the size of the SS Ronald Reagan Aircraft Carrier.

Note: The Ark had no engine room and therefore the capacity was probably 95% animal & supplies.

(Dimensions are approx)

The Bible said;

Hebrews 11:7

By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Romans 10: 13

Action/Coming to our Lord:  He is coming again, this time our Lord Jesus will not be riding on a donkey, His coming will be seen from the east to the west.  Come to our Lord tonight and place it all in His Hands and ask  Jesus for His Holy Spirit to be with you.

Prayer: Lord Jesus tonight as we end this day, we thank You for Your Grace and we commit all into Your Holy Hands as we seek Your Peace and Your Guidance to our Visitors and us all, and in Faith we look to You for a new dawn and a new outlook full of Your Grace Lord. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday June 17, 2016

Topic:  Rejoice you are in a class by selection, selected by whom? By the Lord, and belongs to a Royal Priesthood.

Focus:

Commentary: from the News of the Royal families around the world, if we were chosen to be a family member maybe we would decline. Some may be shocked by this statement.  Reviewing the not too illustrious lives of these ‘Royals’, we see a princess of one sovereign nation facing fraud Charges, we saw the infidelities of another, the death of a high profile princess and the scandals plaguing these monarchies.

The Royalty in which you are called is a higher sovereignty, Led, not ‘Ruled’ by the King of kings and Lord of lords…

We say the Kingdom to which you are called will be “LED” not ruled, because where there is Love and Adoration and the Presence of our Holy God through Jesus Christ our Redeemer. In the restored ‘EDEN’ there will be no need for the ‘Rule of Laws’ as we all will be Sanctified, and being set aside in Paradise with no interference from the evil one, only the presence of our Lord that will lead us not dominate us, not governed.

In this world today, we are governed by rules and regulations, the law of the land must be followed or there will be consequences.  In the New Kingdom described by Jesus, it will not be made by human hands, it can never be shaken and it is beyond comprehension.

If one was to tour the Castles of the various sovereign monarchies, former and present ‘Palaces’ are nothing more than relics of a by-gone era.  There is no grandeur, and even the pageantry of the most famous sovereignty is a drill expressing the limited abilities of mere mortals.

Yes, you are a ‘Chosen-Generation’ called to a Royal-Priesthood.

TEXT: 1 Peter 2:9 [Full Chapter]

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light…

So today as we are enlightened knowing we are chosen to a Royal Priesthood, we need to be ‘Knighted’ or rather be ‘Blessed’ by the Redeemer, who will make you a ‘Special-person’ to be sanctified, and set-apart that you may proclaim the Praises to Jesus our Redeemer who is calling us out of darkness into His ‘Marvelous’ Light.

What a privilege our Savior Jesus, the Christ who is the Great ‘I AM’ to even remember each of us.  Yes, He knows you by name, and our names are all common, known as ‘Sinner’ so He came and Divinely Paid-It-All so that we may have Life and have it more Abundantly. Jesus said this…

John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context | Full Chapter |

So we invite you all to Rejoice, and rejoicing is not a momentarily state of happiness, it is eternal. As we can affirm that when you know Christ, there will be eternal JOY… How can we look beyond the gloom of this earth, a place filled with ‘Bad-News’ and the best (or the worst) way to start your day of anxiety is to watch the News…  But instead read the Good News, and the Good News is that Christ came to save us, as He said He knows us by name…

We will recall the old English story that related the experience of a Dutchman who had settled down at the Cape of Good Hope, he saw a poor native reading the Bible and said scornfully: This book is not for you or the likes of you.” The native person answered quietly: “Yes, it is for me, sir.” The Dutchman said… How do you know?” - “Well my name is mentioned in it”, “your name?  Where?”. “Sir, said the man, pointing to the verse…This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptances that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” … Sinner that is my name, that’s why the book is for me. The Dutchman did not know what to say to this.  Yes, God’s Holy Word is a book for us all.

We can say with full conviction that the Bible is the only book for us all, and we can draw riches for time eternity.  Happy are all who read it in simplicity and sincerity of heart like that native man who recognized himself to be a Sinner before a Holy and Righteous God that show not preference, as He is not prejudice and do not take sides because of race, color or creed.

Let us not ‘pre-judge’ anyone and let us revisit His Commandment which is founded on Love.

1 Timothy 1:15

New International Version (NIV)

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners —of whom I am the worst.

Praise Jesus for His mercies…

Matthew 25:35

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in… In Context | Full Chapter

The Lord was not saying ‘HE” was hungry and thirsty, but those we invited in and gave them something, we are doing this for Him.

Today as we meet others, let us share the privileges granted by our Lord…

  • Jesus said we are no longer servants; we are His ‘Friends’
  • We are more than Conquerors
  • We are “Heirs’ to His Kingdom
  • We are forever safe…
  • All things will work together for Good…Romans 8: 28

Romans 8: 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who [I] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

His Love:   Our Sovereign God loves us so much He sent His Son to Redeem us

1 John 4:10  NIV
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
1 John 4:9-11 (in Context) 1 John 4 (Whole Chapter)

2 John 1:6
And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
2 John 1:5-7 (in Context) 2 John 1 (Whole Chapter)

His Divine Providence

Job 10:12 NIV
You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit.
Job 10:11-13 (in Context) Job 10 (Whole Chapter):

His Saving Grace:

2 Timothy 1:9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
2 Timothy 1:8-10 (in Context) 2 Timothy 1 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion: We can come to the Throne of Righteousness in Prayer knowing that our High Priest our Redeemer Jesus Christ intercedes for us and by His Grace we are Saved… Amen

Prayer… Lord let me be humble and by brotherly love not pre-judge anyone. Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You.  leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore; Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broadened and grant our audience who seek You Lord and Your Peace, as Your Said Lord...” You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday June 16, 2016

Topic: Hate is a trait of ignorance.  Ignorance is the lack of love, compassion and wisdom…

Focus: why do we war? It is because of hate, greed and lack of love and compassion.

“Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.

Text:       2 Kings 6:11-16

New King James Version (NKJV)

11 Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was greatly troubled by this thing; and he called his servants and said to them, “Will you not show me which of us is for the king of Israel?”

12 And one of his servants said, “None, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.”

13 So he said, “Go and see where he is, that I may send and get him.”

And it was told him, saying, “Surely he is in Dothan.”

14 Therefore he sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city. 15 And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?”

16 So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 18 So when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, and said, “Strike this people, I pray, with blindness.” And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

Commentary:

The Power of Prayer of a Righteous man…. James 5:16
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
James 5:15-17 (in Context) James 5 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise:

Luke 1:53
He has filled the hungry with good things, And the rich He has sent away empty.
Luke 1:52-54 (in Context) Luke 1 (Whole Chapter)

His Faithfulness:

Psalm 103

New King James Version (NKJV)

Praise for the Lord’s Mercies

A Psalm of David.

103 Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Ephesians 4

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Unity of the Spirit

Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

Conclusion:

The event of what is documented above was in a time of around 550 BC… 2 Kings 16 So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.

In a more recent time a visitor came to one of the mission stations in Haiti and said “I came to raid the Mission camp last night, but I had to turn away as the entire camp was surrounded by security patrol… after he told the story to the Relief crew, they told him that they had no security guards, and what he saw was the Angels of the Lord protecting the Camp.  This person was so moved that the God of the Christian Relief was so powerful that he came to the Lord, and changed his ways.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity… Lord Jesus Messiah, we lift You up on High and give You our Praises and thank You for Your Divine Grace. Lord today we go in Faith knowing that You are interceding for us and that we can look to that day when we shall see You as You are. Lord bless all Visitors coming to this Good News Website and let your Word be received and grant to us all Your peace; we ask this in Your precious name, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday June 15, 2016

MORNING:

TOPIC:  Forgiveness is the precedent of God’s forgiveness… God’s forgiveness is only given after you forgive others

FOCUS: Text:      James 1:19-27 NIV

Listening and Doing

19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. (The preceding written by James the Brother of Jesus) †

Commentary:

Life’s uncertainties are all around us. Again one will ask isn’t this website supposed to be a bearer of Good News?  Yes, we are bringing you Good News today.  The Good News is that we are endowed with:

  • We are created in His Likeness
  • Christ died for our Sins
  • He Rose Triumphantly
  • He Ascended into Heaven
  • He Sits on the Throne of Righteousness
  • He is willing to forgive us of our sins
  • If you come to Him and ask for forgiveness, He will give it
  • Jesus Christ is our Mediator and our Sovereign God
  • When we are saved, we receive an Eternal life of Joy in Him
  • He is coming again
  • All those that are still here will be caught up in the air to Him
  • His Kingdom will be fully Sanctified and Sinless
  • We will be reunited with our loved ones

Ephesians 1:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 2: But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

EVENING:

Action / Coming to our Lord:

A Church is not a building; it is made up of Believers in Christ, and in Christ alone. The Building is where Christians gather to Worship. As we read in Ephesians 2:22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Conclusion:

Our bodies are living Temples of our Lord…. 2 Corinthians 6:16
What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
2 Corinthians 6:15-17 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 6 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity; today as we proceed in Faith knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us, we are privileged to be blest by You Lord.  Lord we thank you for our Visitors and meeting our needs and let us receive an abundance that we can share Your favors with others Lord as we give You the Glory, knowing that all good things are from you Lord Jesus. Lord direct our nation by Your Divine Powers and grant in our leaders the wisdom to lead and for them to Stop and Know that you are God and turn to you Lord. Our land is parched, our streams are dry and many are in hunger, Lord supply the needs of those that are suffering and especially the children in this nation and around the world because of man’s inequities and Lord let Your presence be known; so that we all will know that You Are God of all. Devotionals for Tuesday June 14, 2016

Topic: Working hard versus working smart… getting more done by planning the day and sharing the work load…

FOCUS: Moses was told to ‘Delegate’ some of his daily activities…  While Moses was leading over a million people through the desert unto the ‘Promised-Land’, Moses was considered the Leader, the judge, the provider and while Moses was present he dealt with all aspects of ruling a multitude of ‘unruly’ people.  Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law came to visit Moses and told him to recruit several helpers…

TEXT: Exodus 18: 17 So Moses’ father-in-law said to him, “The thing that you do is not good. 18 Both you and these people who are with you will surely wear yourselves out. For this thing is too much for you; you are not able to perform it by yourself. 19 Listen now to my voice; I will give you counsel, and God will be with you: Stand before God for the people, so that you may bring the difficulties to God. 20 And you shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do.

21 Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. 22 And let them judge the people at all times. Then it will be that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they themselves shall judge. So it will be easier for you, for they will bear the burden with you.

23 If you do this thing, and God so commands you, then you will be able to endure, and all this people will also go to their place in peace.”

24 So Moses heeded the voice of his father-in-law and did all that he had said. 25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people: rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. 26 So they judged the people at all times; the hard cases they brought to Moses, but they judged every small case themselves.

Commentary:

Today as we ourselves are faced with multi-tasking to handle the demands of our daily lives, we too should be a ‘good-listener’ and take a lesson from Moses’ Father-in-law.

Cast our burdens upon Him, as the Lord cares for you…

1 Peter 5:6-8 New King James Version (NKJV)

6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,

7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because[a] your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

His Faithfulness:

Today we adopt this favorite reflecting on the words of this Praise Song…

Before the throne of God above

I have a strong and perfect plea:

A great High Priest, whose name is Love,

Whoever lives and pleads for me.

My name is graven on His hands,

My name is written on His heart;

I know that while in heaven He stands

No tongue can bid me thence depart

No tongue can bid me thence depart.

When Satan tempts me to despair,

And tells me of the guilt within,

Upward I look, and see Him there

Who made an end to all my sin.

Because the sinless Savior died,

My sinful soul is counted free;

For God the just is satisfied

To look on Him and pardon me

To look on Him and pardon me

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Praise the One,

Risen Son of God!

Behold Him there, the Risen Lamb

My perfect, spotless righteousness,

The great unchangeable I am,

The King of glory and of grace!

One with Himself I cannot die

My soul is purchased by His blood

My life is hid with Christ on high,

With Christ, my Savior and my God

With Christ, my Savior and my God

Conclusion:

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Lord, today let Your Holy Spirit be with our Visitors and us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The Life of CHRIST

 2 Corinthians 5:21

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God"

Colossians 1: 15-20 New International Version (NIV)

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

For He said:  All things work together for good to those that love the Lord…

Romans 8:28

1 Timothy 1:15

New International Version (NIV)

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners —of whom I am the worst.

The Grace and Love of our Lord…

His Sovereignty, His Majesty, His Love, His Redemption….

His Omniscient… Jesus is with us always, even to the ends of the age:

Matthew 28:20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Devotionals for Saturday June 11, 2016

Topic: If this life, this world was all that we could have, what a disappointment it would be…

FOCUS: Jesus said He came that we would have life and have it more abundantly…

Text: Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.  Revelation 3:19-21 (in Context) Revelation 3 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary: Behold my Jesus stands at the door and knock. While He can enter without opening the door, but He is calling me to receive Him, and His mission is to bring me Joy, as he said as I stand at the door and know and if I answers, He will come in and dine with me.  What a privilege this would be to sit at a table set by my Lord and to be just like when He sat at dinner with the disciples.

Just think how Jesus would bring me great news of what he has prepared for me and to give me insight of what to come? I can imagine that the table setting would be with delicacies of fruits, nectars, fishes, meat and bread.  I can imagine how He would pray over the setting and thank His Father and then feast with me as He prepared only the best.

Yes, my Jesus has been at my door and He came because He wants to give me Peace, Joy, Hope, His Love, His care and His plan for my life.

Today as I gather with all my friends and families, I will Thank Him and Praise Him for His Graciousness knowing that it is only by His Grace that I am saved and journeying to His Kingdom, where He has prepared a place for me.

Jesus said…” I am not of this world” what did He mean by this statement? No need to wonder about this.  He ascended to Heaven, But He did not abandon us; He said The Holy Spirit would be with us while He went to His Father. The same Holy Spirit that descended on the day of Pentecost where 5,000 came to Jesus through Peter’s telling them the Good News, this Holy Spirit is with us right now.

Jesus said… “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them”.

Matthew 18: 20.

Jesus said we must have Faith and Faith is a belief in something unseen, He said if we have faith like a grain of mustard see, (which is the size of this. dot) we can move mountains.  Jesus spoke about mountains, and these are ‘mountains’ in our lives... such as: Health, Finances, Families, Relationships and our love for others like ourselves.

We have heard it many times, have faith in God… this is a good saying, but it cannot save us, it is like knowing that the pharmaceutical product that is well known to cure what you may have, you know of it, but you do not have a prescription because you haven’t been to the doctor. The same principle applies you can ‘Know of’ Jesus and you also know that he can save you and give you His Peace, but you haven’t come to Him and introduce yourself to Him and ask Him to give You His Grace. His ‘GRACE’ is what saves.

His Grace is the ‘Gap’ between your acceptance of Him as Your Savior and the time when you enter His Kingdom at which time you will be fully sanctified and free from sin forever.

Now His Grace covers a period which is the ‘Gap’ when you are saved and have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we are still sinners but under Grace, and now that you are saved, Jesus will be your Intercessor, as we now have an advocate with Jesus.  So as an enlightened sinner now redeemed, we are like a ‘recovering alcoholic’ that lives by each day to remain sober, so we as an enlightened sinner will do the same, but we have the Holy Spirit that is now with us.  Remembering that it is not what we do that saves us, it is by the ‘Grace’ of God through His Blood.

Principle: When you know the Lord Jesus He will give you a clean heart, and He will renew your Spirit with a clear mind.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 NASB

Action/Coming to our Lord:

1 John 5:14-15

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

Conclusion:

We all know of the 23rd Psalm, The Lord is my Shepherd… We think it should read; I am a sheep in my Lord’s flock, and I shall not want.  While our Lord referred to himself as a Shepherd, we preferred to put this in the context that we are sheep in His flock, why? He is the Owner of the flock, and He cares for us. No, we are not re-writing the Bible Text, but our Lord is the Sovereign Eternal God, and not a ‘Shepherd’ like David who was a shepherd-boy.

So when Jesus knocks, open the door and let Him in, His saying is faithful, and all what is stated in Psalm 23 He will do.

Hebrews 3:15

while it is said, “Today if you hear His voice…  Do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked Me.”

Hebrews 3:14-16 (in Context) Hebrews 3 (Whole Chapter)

John 10:10  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:9-11 (in Context) John 10 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, Ephesians 3:19-21 (in Context) Ephesians 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

2 Peter 1:11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.2 Peter 1:10-12 (in Context) 2 Peter 1 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that 2,013 years ago when You came to earth, You came so that we will have life and have it more abundantly. Lord we thank You for Your Covenant of Grace, and it is by Your Grace that we are saved.  Lord thank You for bringing Visitors to this site, as we are privileged to serve You and all for Your Glory Lord. Bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Peace as we thank you for Your Favors. Lord today be with us as we look to You knowing that all things work for Good to those that loves You Lord. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to you is the Power and the Glory, now and Forevermore. Amen.

Devotionals for Friday June 10th, 2016

Topic: The Angels of the Lord will surround you…

Thoughts for the day:  We are not alone –

Topic: We lack nothing when we love our Lord Jesus, because in Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead

TEXT:  Psalm 34:7-9

New King James Version (NKJV)

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them.

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints!
There is no want to those who fear Him.

Commentary: The apostle Paul wrote, "Being confident of this, that He (God) who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6).

By HIS New Covenant, as Jesus was dying on the Cross of Calvary where His Blood was shed for our Atonement, He said…” It is Finished” The Bible said; the Veil of the Temple was torn, this was the Revelation of the New Covenant, at that very moment we passed from the “LAW” to ‘GRACE” as He granted HIS Grace.

Grace is a like a reprieve or an extension or to grant a release of a Debt or being Pardoned…

  • The Veil is Removed
  • Our Lord is no longer ‘Hidden’
  • He is Sovereign, HE is Supreme
  • He Redeemed us and He Paid-it-all
  • And ONLY Through Jesus we can have a future life in a place of Splendor.

Neither Buddha nor Mohammed can give you that Assurance as our Divine Eternal God Came, Died, Rose and Ascended and sits on the Throne of Righteousness and HE is our Advocate.

We cannot worship nature, things that we see and the goodness of men, why? Because He (God) Created it all, and He is calling us to receive His Precious Priceless gift that all the gold cannot purchase.

We also need to know that Jesus is not just ‘His Son’… He is God in one as you read in:

John 1, Hebrews 1, and Colossians 1

Jesus is the Anointed Son, we were taught in Sunday’s school that Jesus is the Son of God, then even right now, for us that do not know our Lord, will say, how can God have a Son and He wasn’t married?  We must remember that we are finite in our thinking ability and our life span, and only God is Infinite, God knew our limited capability, so He spoke to us using Metaphor or narrated His message using simple analogy to convey the scope of His thinking to us whom He created.

John 1: 1-18

 The Eternal Word

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

John’s Witness: The True Light

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

The Word Becomes Flesh

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’”

16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

Colossians 1: 9- 20

Preeminence of Christ

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

Reconciled in Christ. 19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

Hebrews 1 New King James Version (NKJV)

God’s Supreme Revelation

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

In the Bible there are many Parables and description of His Messages, example, the Vine and the Branches, The Lamb of God, and many others, but one of His most profound statement made publicly was when Jesus said in His Kingdom there are many Mansion, and: “IF” He go and prepare a place for “YOU” He will come and get you so that where He is You can also be… This is oftentimes taken as a ‘Security-Blanket’ and this is to be translated by the Context of “IF & “YOU”, why, because His statement was a conditional statement with a Caveat that IF You received Him and trusted in Faith, He would go and you would be a Beneficiary, on the flip side if you did not believe then He was not going on your behalf.

We need to know that we cannot go to God unless through Jesus, why?  Because He is the Gatekeeper, and He is our Advocate (for those that know him). So if we do not know Him or turned away like the tribe of Judah when they were taken captive, the worshipped Idols, anything, person or whatsoever other that Jesus is considered above Jesus Christ, will be considered as idols.

Buddha and Mohammed were spiritual leaders but they did not have a Triumphant Resurrection, they are in man-made boxes. Just like the idols they had to be nailed down so they do not topple over. Worshippers of idol had to ‘carry’ their stone gods, Jesus carries us, and He is our Hero.

The Bible teaches that when we receive Him (Jesus Christ) we are saved and He will never … let us be lost;

2 Timothy 1:7 New International Version (NIV)

7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

To know Christ… Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord today we Praise You and thank You Lord for Your Graciousness. Lord thank You for the privilege of serving You and having Visitors to our sites bearing Your Good Need for Your Glory. Lord we seek Your Divine guidance and we seek Your blessings on our Visitors and Lord let there be just one that will come to know You today as the angels will celebrate in heaven. Lord we pray for the needs of all as we know that in You we have Victory and all things work together for good as we love You Lord. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Focus: Growing up we all had a little box with our favorite things.  As we go older what’s in the box of life? We need God not a box.

As a parent each of my kid had their own little ‘treasure-box’. Today we will focus of Samaritan’s Christmas-Child Shoe Box ministry.

The world is a place of need regardless of where you are at this moment… each of us has a ‘Shoe-Box’ and this is a small space in our hearts.  Heart? Yes, because the heart is where we generate emotions, love and feeling with compassion.

We salute Franklin Graham for his magnanimous global outreach for Christ.  To deploy the Shoe-boxes it is like the allied forces coming together to liberate France, but the target is much wide-spread. The ground swells of participant around the world and the individual recipients of the shoe-box filled with toys, hygiene items and a bible are blessed.

Pray that this ministry endowed by Christ and executed in His name will have a safe delivery of the boxes this season to the remotest destinations.

We thank God for people like Franklin and his crews and each participant that assembled a box with the love of Christ, may the Lord continue to bless the Grahams for their worldwide ministries.

We may not need a Box, but we need Christ as only what’s done for him will last.  Let us focus on Thanksgiving by thing of the less fortunate families around the world and right here in this land of prosperity as the ‘American-Dream’ has been reshaped with over 50 million receiving Food-Stamp.  We pray for those that are receiving this welfare assistance and even for those that are abusing the system by converting the intended use of Food-Stamp for illicit items. As said… what’s done in secret will be revealed and we hope that those enablers will be revealed.

Good News-Coming to the Lord: Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

EVENING:

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Philippians 4: 4-7 4Rejoice in the Lord always.

Devotionals for Wednesday June 8th, 2016

MORNING:

TOPIC:  Gaining the world but losing all…

What is Providence? It is the protective power of God, The Father and through Jesus we are made Joint Heirs.

Think on this: In our daily lives there is always something, someone or a source that we will have some dependencies.

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:7-9 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 9 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

‘It’s Providential’ meaning it is from a Divine source, and the only Divine source is God Almighty…

There is no such thing as ‘Luck’… luck is when you are ‘Prepared’ and this is more like an opportunity comes you way that you can participate in the opportunity.

In man’s world, the adjectives use to describe the benefit of ‘gain’ is to exploittaking advantagecontroland use.  In God’s world… His Providence is an ‘umbrella’ His providence provides more than what we need each day, His Providence is His Protection and His Redemption.

While the world undergoes the turmoil of economic woes, Europe, China, the USA and everywhere else, we have Hope (mentioned 121 times in the KJV and 159 times in the NIV Bibles.)

  • JOY:       Joy is mentioned 244 times in the Bible, considering the announcement of our Savior’s Birth… Luke 2:10
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
Luke 2:9-11 (in Context) Luke 2 (Whole Chapter)
  • FAITH:   Romans 1:17
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
Romans 1:16-18 (in Context) Romans 1 (Whole Chapter)
  • TRIUMPH:     Revelation 17:14
They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”
Revelation 17:13-15 (in Context) Revelation 17 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise & His Faithfulness:

1 Timothy 1:14
The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
1 Timothy 1:13-15 (in Context) 1 Timothy 1 (Whole Chapter)

Action:  The Difference of intellectually knowing my Lord or experientially knowing Him… Experience Christ by Living and Learning, Christ must be the Center of my/our Life;

James 2: 14-19

Faith and Deeds

14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”

Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that —and shudder.

Do not ignore the Word, and be Patient, He said “wait on the latter rain and endure the suffering” as He will never let us be Ashamed in Trusting in Him, and only when we try and shortcut His Plan in our lives we express the traits of questioning His Faithfulness.

To Be still and Know that He is GOD and Continue to work as He said the Harvest is great but the Workers are few...

 EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

1) Knowing that God loves us all, meaning we must be rooted in Love.

2) To remain un-shaken remain strong by the Established Love.

3) To be rooted and established in Christ’s Love,

4) To be filled with God’s Holy Spirit,

5) That one must be satisfied and complete in Him,

6) To move towards the full purpose that God intended for us,

7) Let the Power of His Holy Spirit work in us

Conclusion:

Good News -His Faithfulness:

To apply the principle of Matthew 23: 12 for those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. And to remind my Brothers in their dedication of doing God’s work, He said… 1 Peter 5:  6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Prayer:  Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Redeemer we come in Your Holy presence. We lift you up before all. Thank You Lord for opening the doors to bring hundreds of people to visit this site each day; Lord we are privileged to be Your messenger and we thank you for your blessings. Lord Jesus open the minds and grant us wisdom and let our readers grasp the Good News of Your Salvation. Lord as we bring Your message to many let the substance of what we present be from you our Lord. We pray in Your Holy name and give You the Glory and the Power now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday June 7th, 2016

TOPIC:   Self-righteousness is of no value, especially in the eyes of the Lord…

Philippians 2: 3-8            COME TO HIM WITH HUMILITY

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

His Promise:

I go to prepare a place for you, John 14:3
If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.
John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

John 8:24
Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

His Faithfulness:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

That where I am there will you be also, so come to our Lord today and be assured that He will prepare a place for you.

Conclusion:

Today we saw the ‘Great Commission’ of what our Lord gave to each of us that loves Him… The collection of Scriptures are not addressed to the any of the great theologians, Billy Graham, or any other noted Evangelists. These are the WORD of God, speaking to each of us.

In Philippians 2: 3-8 above that clearly stated the Example of Christ, how He was God (Verse 6) He was taking the form of a Bond-Servant, and how He humbled Himself even to the point of Death on the cross.

Just think The King of kings, Lord of lords and God Supreme chose to die in our place.  Only by His Grace could His Divine Crucifixion and Triumphant Resurrection Paid-It-All for us. “He is the Great I AM”

Regardless of the week’s assignment, the challenges and the tasks, let us address the work of the Lord as a ‘Labor of Love’

Remember if this earth could be utopia, then there would be no need to look to a new ‘Restored Eden’, and if we say we are without sin, then we make the Lord a liar.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, In Context | Full Chapter

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 4-10 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

His Faithfulness:

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus Who Paid It All

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for our Visitors and we come knowing that You have said, that You will never leave us nor forsake us’. We thank You for Your Grace that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Lord, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday June 6th, 2016

TOPIC:  Seek the Lord, Praise His Majesty. Pleasing God by serving others in His Name…

We are all seekers… What do we seek to find? Peace, Prosperity, Good Health and time to enjoy them all. Regardless of whom we are, we cannot deny that among these pursuits we all need them as they are essential to life sustainability.

Jesus gave us the answers to the above.  So if these answers were made known by Jesus why aren’t everyone having these essentials?  The parameters of what Jesus laid out in His disclosure of achieving the fulfillment that Jesus said are; His providence will not be granted if it is solely for self-serving uses, and secondly the criteria of being fulfilled; He Jesus as Lord must be preeminent and what He promised will be secondary and always be subordinated to Him.

Matthew 6:33-34New King James Version (NKJV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Life’s journey in this world is a trip… and how would you describe the best trip you have ever made? In the passage above Jesus is saying all of what we need for life’s journey will be provided, if we seek His Righteousness ‘First’ and being FIRST means that all that comes after Him will always be in second place, but what He provided are to take care of the coming days.

The second ‘greatest’ commandment outlined by Jesus is…

Matthew 22:36-40 [Full Chapter]

37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’[d] 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[e] 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

So the lesson from Jesus’ teaching we affirm…

  1. In Christ all things are possible,
  2. In His Name we are granted our requests
  3. That our request should be made in His Name
  4. That His providence is for us to use, not to be idolized but used for His Glory
  5. That as we become less self-centered and more Christ centered, His Grace abounds in us.
  6. We are called by the Lord and we are Sanctified by His Blood
  7. Being Sanctified we are set-apart
  8. Being Set-Apart we shall See Him as He is.

Romans 5 New King James Version (NKJV)

Faith Triumphs in Trouble

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have[a] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Christ in Our Place

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Sovereign God in Your Holy Trinity we come. Father today we Praise You for Your Graciousness. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Redemption at Calvary and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved by Your Grace.  Lord we pray for our nation and for Your guidance to our citizens taking part in this upcoming election.  Lord let Your agenda prevail and pray for Peace in the Middle East and Lord place Your shield around Your many servants serving in these troubled regions.  Lord bless us all and our Visitors coming to read Your Word Lord, this is for Your Glory to reach many as You commissioned.  We pray in Your precious name Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday June 5th, 2016

Morning:

TOPIC:  Hidden in ‘Plain-Sight’, predators are on the prowl, but you are safe.

It is said the closer we draw near to God, the hard the devil will work to destabilize us.

Hidden in plain-sight is our topic and many impediments are just a step away…

The impediment of the evil one comes in many forms,

Because of the endless interference by the evil one we have a ‘constant-battle’ but we need to be assured that this battle has been won. And the battle is not ours it is the Lord.

How do we say that the battle is the Lord?  Because He said call upon Him.  It is like deploying a squadron of Elite special-forces to combat the interference.

Hebrews 4:15

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in allpoints tempted as we are, yet without sin. In Context | Full Chapter

Devotional:

Coming to the Lord:  Today Lord Jesus we can claim Victory in You because You said so… Lord being created in Your Likeness we are privileged to know that by Your Grace we have the best to come, and this is when we see You Lord Jesus, as You said, when we see You we also see the Father.   We come today and pray for those that know of You Lord, but because of the ‘Scales’ over their eyes they cannot see, Lord just as you removed the scales of Paul’s eyes, let there be many today that will gain their sight to see Your WORD. Lord we affirm that the WORD of The Father… “Let there be Light” and You Lord Jesus became the Light of the World.

His Faithfulness

Lord we declare that You have said in Your Kingdom nothing is made by human hands, and Lord considering this we see why Gold will be a common building material, as it is one substance that mankind cannot replicate.  Therefore, Lord just as man has discovered the God-Particle, there are more than substantial evidence that we mere mortals are still in the era of building the Tower of Babel.

EVENING:

Knowing Him – Fellowship in Oneness:

Let it be Your Will Lord… Today let us renew our dedication of following the great commission of spreading His Good News… Just as we said if you knew the cure for Cancer and did not share it, this would be evil, so today we know of a more important cure, and this is the cure that triumphs over death.  Because in Christ we have Life-everlasting, but not just a ‘life’, He has provided His Grace and His Salvation which is a life of Splendor because He said so.

Many may say why do I need to be told the Good News of Jesus’ Crucifixion and His Resurrection? And how can this help me, and why do I need help…  God did not intend us to be on the treadmill of this life with the challenges.  There are executive positions at many companies that will pay a salary, and there are those that will only pay under the principle of ‘You eat what your kill’ meaning you are only paid against your production.   Remember in the beginning our fore parents Adam and Eve had it all, but going against the command of God, they were expelled and hence we have to face the daily challenges of life.

But after the fall of Adam and Eve, God in His infinite love for us, He provided a way for us to be ‘Redeemed’ and to be restored into the New Eden.  The complexity of life and the future may not be that complex after all, and we will not be ‘Angels floating around playing a harp, we can see the original state of Eden, God gave Adam and Eve ‘Free-will’ and he declared the difference of Good versus Evil, so we face a constant battle from the tempter and we must put on the Armor of God.

Ephesians 6:10-18 [Full Chapter]

[The Whole Armor of God] Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ...

Prayer:
Heavenly Father in Jesus we come Lord because You are one of the Father we know that You our Redeemer is not a faceless God, and Lord we are created in Your Likeness. Lord Jesus we thank You for the privilege of presenting You and we thank You for being in Your likeness.  Lord today as we challenged let us be victorious in You Lord Jesus.

Lord Jesus we do not seek to be hidden and we do not seek to keep You hidden because you are the Light of the World.

Lord Jesus thank you for giving us knowledge and Lord let us bring You and Your Divine Grace to this world for Your Glory.

Lord Jesus today we go in Faith and we go knowing that all things will work together for good and Lord the Good is You and Lord let it be done for Your Kingdom. We pray in Your Holy Name and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore... Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday June 4th, 2016

Morning:

TOPIC: Is It a ‘Rat Race’ of tyrants, politicians that deceive or one with good intentions?

As we look at the race for ratings, the News medias are in a constant battle to create sensationalism and to spread rumors, half-truth and mostly false representation with political and legal skills.

We are in a society that you can say anything, provided that there is a disclaimer. Therefore, it is a matter of who and what to believe, as the truth is twisted to convey the opposite of the truth.

The Truth of the Gospels is never a headline in a Newscast but the ‘bad-news’ will always be the mastheads for the newspapers and the top stories of the evening news.

The population of every country is made up with some degree of ethnic diversity, and politician in their campaign speeches will ‘pander’ to every sectors for votes.

Back in the time of Jesus’ ministry, they said…

Mark 2: 15 Now it happened, as He was dining in Levi’s house, that many tax collectors and sinners also sat together with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many, and they followed Him.

16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, “How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?”

17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

The Lord was not running for election nor was Jesus in a popularity contest.  When we read the Gospels we see that only a few sought out Jesus and came to know Him. Yes, there were multitudes that sought Him but it was men like Nicodemus who came to Him and another then infamous tax-collector Zacchaeus.

One statement of fact that we can make is that Jesus never lied, He never misrepresented the truth, nor did He ‘sugar-coat’ the consequence of sin.  The message is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.

And this message is clear…’t is appointed unto man once to die, and after that the judgment’.

TEXT:     Hebrews 9:26-28 New King James Version (NKJV)

26 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

The next statement of fact is that Jesus came to save sinners…

1 Timothy 1:15

This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. In Context | Full Chapter |

Yes, men of influence did come to Christ during His ministry, but Saul did not come to Christ, The Lord sought him out and transformed this vile individual from a persecutor of Christians to a messenger of the Gospel.

The next statement of fact is… If Saul whose mission was to arrested believers in Christ could be changed, then anyone of us can be changed from a wayward life to be an ambassador for Christ.

Here we read what Paul wrote… Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. In Context | Full Chapter |

Are we ready to be ‘Transformed’ for Christ?

Only God sees us all from the inside-out and sooner or later what’s hidden will be brought to light.  As said the truth will endure.

Many dedicated faithful servants of the Lord spend their life spreading the Good News and are providing fellowship in the Lord’s name, serving by relationship, counselling and leading many to Christ. Many organizations function well with total transparency accounting for every ‘penny’ of what they receive and are good-stewards.  For a list of these we would be pleased to provide you one upon request.

EVENING:

So as not to judge we leave it all to time and allowing the truth to prevail.  We support the notion… It is far better to give than to receive! Jesus told His disciples to go and take nothing… for the disciples Jesus laid out a ‘network’ of benefactors that are always ready to support His ministry, because all work in His name are ‘His’ Ministry, they are not ours.  If they are of man, then it is a ‘business’.

The early church was founded by a few and the benefactor was a ‘Merchant of Purple cloth’

Acts 17: 13-15

Lydia’s Conversion in Philippi

13 On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there. 14 One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message. 15 When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.

The follower of Christ experienced many travesties, and even the death of Stephen who was stoned to death, and welcomed home by Jesus as Stephen prayed and said… Lord receive my Spirit.  This is in the city of Antioch where the first Christian Church was founded and followers of Christ were first called ‘Christians’.  Stephen’s death could be attributed to what the Bible said… without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.

The ultimate Shedding of Blood was the Crucifixion of Jesus… for our Redemption.

1 Timothy 2:5-6

New International Version (NIV)

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

Remember the Holy Spirit were upon His disciples, we read about the Divine Power of God on the day of Pentecost; and all things are possible with God through Jesus Christ.

Prayer:

TOPIC: We have nothing new in medical breakthrough… What? How can we say this?

Herbal Medicine is a fast growing segment of Healthcare becoming a $110 Billion Dollar a year industry.

In fact, the use of Chemotherapy is gradually being replace by natural herbal and other plant sources.

The sky-rocketing cost of healthcare fueled by greed may have been the ‘straw that broke the camel’s back’.

Drug dependency driven by proliferation of prescription drugs and early year medication have spawned the growth of substance abuse to almost epidemic levels.

Text: Genesis 1:29

And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.

Natural healing from great tasting fruits from our Lord.  The side effects of some pharmaceutical medicine can cause you more harm than good. Have you ever stopped to think why God placed man in a Garden with Fruit trees?  While Scriptures said all things provided by our Lord are edible, the emphasis was on Fruit. Even the cakes baked with Figs etc. were prized more than meat, but meat was part of the diet as planned by our Creator.

The ‘Practicing’ medical profession is driven by giant pharmaceutical companies that are driven by Wall Street.  The driving force of today’s medicine is to generate revenue and create stock value based on earnings. There are still a few meaningful institutions seeking to provide true therapy for a cure rather than financial gain.

A Wellness Newsletter that I subscribe to said… Eating Blue Berries, Fish, Leafy Green-Vegetables, walking and no sugar and less red meat can reverse plaque buildup in your arteries. (Do not use this as a Medical advice); it is just a quote from a Wellness letter) and doing this may add years to your life.

Principle: Galatians 5:22

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

His Promise / His Faithfulness:  Proverbs 8:19

My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, And my revenue than choice silver. (The Word of God)

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Joel 2:22 Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength.

Ezekiel 47:12 Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”

Conclusion: 'A little knowledge is a dangerous thing' and 'a little learning is a dangerous thing' have been used synonymously since the 18th century. The Holy Bible is the bestselling book of all times.  The authors are not Yale, Harvard, Princeton or Edinburgh scholars, therefore the Holy Bible is as we addressed it…’Holy’ and inspired by God.  Moses did not write the first books of the Bible, Moses was compiling the data and chronologically putting it together.

More and more of what affects our lives daily are being revealed from the Bible, as it said the leaves of the plant would be our medicine… Natural Herbs and science is now coming around to a Cancer treatment using Turmeric…Some proponents believe turmeric may prevent and slow the growth of a number of types of cancer, particularly tumors of the esophagus, mouth, intestines, stomach, breast, and skin.

John 15:5

“I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

John 15:16

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My Name He may give you.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord today we acknowledge Your wonderful creation by Your Divine Design. Lord just like men in the early years tried to build a tower to heaven, man has used their knowledge to exploit our fellow humans. Lord as You said lay-up treasures in Heaven where it will never deteriorate as we honor You Lord with our possessions, and with the first fruits of all Your increase in our lives, Lord we are persuaded that neither death nor life, not angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, not things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from Your Love oh God, in You Lord Jesus You are our Savior Jesus Messiah.  In Your Name Lord Jesus, we pray and to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

4/26/2007 - LAJES FIELD, Azores, Portugal -- Parents today have a lot on their plates.

Juggling the demands of work, home, and other responsibilities leaves many parents feeling like they do not have nearly enough time with their children.

But even small acts of kindness, protection, and caring -- a hug, a kiss, or a smile -- make a big difference to children.

Research shows time and again that babies who receive affection and nurturing from their parents have the best chance of developing into children, teens, and adults who are happy, healthy, and competent.

Research also shows that a relationship with a consistent, caring adult in the early years is associated in later life with better academic grades, healthier behaviors, more positive peer interactions, and an increased ability to cope with stress.

Brain development in infants is positively affected when parents work to understand and meet their basic needs for love and affection or provide comfort when they are hungry, bored, tired, wet, or cold.

Conversely, neglectful and abusive parenting can have a negative effect on brain development.

Research shows that a lack of contact or interaction with a caregiver can change the infant's body chemistry, resulting in a reduction in the growth hormones essential for brain and heart development.

Furthermore, the ability to feel remorse and empathy are built on experience.

Children who lack early emotional attachments or who grow up fearful and expecting to be hurt will have a difficult time relating to peers.

As children grow, nurturing by parents and other caregivers remains important for healthy physical and emotional development.

While physical contact becomes less important, listening and talking become more vital to the relationship.

Parents nurture their older children by being involved and interested in the child's school and other activities, aware of the child or teen's interests and friends, and willing to advocate for the child when necessary.

When parents spend time and energy discovering and paying attention to their children's needs, they are rewarded with positive, open, and trusting relationships with their children.

Parents who develop the ability to respond sensitively to the needs of their child, no matter what age, will find parenting easier and more enjoyable.

A number of other resources exist for parents, including parenting support groups, parenting classes, and home visits from specific types of providers.

Activities that provide a chance to get to know other parents, such as play groups, support groups, or classes, have the added bonus of giving parents the opportunity to form social relationships and supports. (End of article by Lajes)

Commentary:

The love of our Lord is unfathomable (impossible to understand or comprehend; unintelligible) we are God’s creation and among all of His Creations He treasured us the most.

Jesus told of the Prodigal son…

The Parable of the Lost Son

Luke 15: 11-24 (NKJV)

11 Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. 13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. 14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. 15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.

17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, 19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’

20 “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. 23 And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; 24 for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.

In our daily lives we are all ‘Prodigal-sons’ as Jesus told this, He was expressing the Love of the Father for us.

EVENING:

Guidance for Today...1 John 4:4
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

This means that we can face our tempter by the Power of the Holy Spirit that dwells in us. We rebuke the evil one knowing that HE (Jesus) who is in us is greater than he that is in the world.

1 John 3:  New International Version

16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

19 This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: 20 If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. 21 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24 The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

When you know the Lord and have made a commitment to Him, it is forever, as we can never be lost…

Romans 8:38-39 New King James Version (NKJV)

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose water do not fail. Isaiah 58: 11 NKJV

Obedience: For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 1 John 5:3 NKV

“You may not qualify” this statement maybe the ultimate ‘Closing’ clincher in making the sale

After a long presentation to sell as Life Insurance policy, and the repeated ‘No I am not interested’ the sale representation finally said “You may not qualify” …   This is the ultimate challenge as a last pitch.

In the ordinary course of the human instinct is to accept the challenge, but on the other hand by initiating the medical examination you have virtually succumbed to the selling pitch, and the salesman would have won the battle.

Commentary:

In the real world of everyday living the things we face, the people we meet and the day-to-day demand of just ‘jogging-in-place’ sometimes it becomes such a chore for many… In the ordinary course of our lives we face so many issues, some are mundane, some are critical for our well-being, and all are centered on the future.  Yes, the future is what life’s all about. To our kids it is tomorrow’s school lessons, to us adults it is the responsibilities of finances, health, relationships and having a safety-net for the future.

But the future is a moving target… simply because our destiny is not under our total control. While the hard cold facts that the ‘business as usual’ of a comfortable retirement for many have somewhat subsided lowering the optimism and in actuality lowered the standards of what the golden years should have been.  For some the ‘safety-net’ is still intact and the future is secure… but there’s no real security in the future for either category.  We have heard about leaving the farm for the city to work for decades then retiring back on the farm… In the USA the rate of Boomers retiring is for every day for the next 19 years, 10,000 baby boomers will reach age 65.

Survey shows that 51 percent of U.S. households are at risk of being unable to maintain their pre-retirement standard of living at age 65, why are we discussing these issues, because there is a silver lining as our Lord promised to those who seek Him a life of abundance.

His Promise:

While our Lord said He came so we could have life and have it more abundantly, and He was speaking in the presence tense and also in the future tense. He did not say we are to bury our heads in the sand…

He said Seek First his Kingdom

Matthew 6: 31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these   things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all              these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

His Faithfulness:

1 Thessalonians 5: 16-24… 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.

Blessing and Admonition

23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

Our Lord did not use any Sales-Pitch, He only demonstrated the reality of life. In the 33 years of Jesus’ life on earth and His Earthly Ministry being around three years, no sales-tactics were used, but, Jesus did say these amazing things:

Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… let my earthly baggage be replaced by Your Divine Grace from You Lord Jesus, and we thank You Lord who redeemed us by Your Blood, as we are sinners and can only be Redeemed by Your Blood, Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus today we thank you for replacing the baggage that we are saddled with, replaced by Your Redemption through Your Divine Sacrifice.  We thank You Lord for Your Saving Grace, we thank You Lord for the privilege of bringing Your Good News to our Visitors.  Lord Jesus bless us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.
