The Certainty of God’s Promise (Heb.6:13)

Hebrews 6:13 New International Version (NIV)

The Certainty of God’s Promise

13 When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself,

Do not Crucify Christ a second time…

6 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And God permitting, we will do so.

It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son

Today is Sunday and a good day to be in the House of the Lord...

It’s a beautiful morning… He made it a wonderful day for us to Thank our Lord and Praise Him…

As we begin the week… Mondays are sometimes described as ‘Blue-Monday’ rather than singing the ‘blues’, let us start the day knowing that this is a new day a new week and a day our Lord has made…

The Rogers & Hammerstein rendition of…. O what a beautiful morning says it all…

There's a bright golden haze on the meadow,
There's a bright golden haze on the meadow,
The corn is as high as an elephant's eye,
An' it looks like its climbin' clear up to the sky.

Oh what a beautiful morning,
Oh what a beautiful day,
I've got a wonderful feeling,
Everything's going my way.

Let us Seize the Day and claim it for our Lord, that will give us His Peace and His Blessings as we take on this coming Monday, knowing: We must guard our prayer times so that the pressures of daily living don't crowd them out.

We need to be on the watch that we avoid the subtleness of temptation it creeps into our lives, just like the yeast that permeates the whole mix of flour… as He (Jesus) said:

1 John 1:9 (NIV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

The Best is Yet to Come! (But it will not be for everyone) On the day of the Lord, all believers Born in His Holy Spirit as Jesus said to Nicodemus…  John 3:7  “You must be born again” on that day believers will be caught up “to meet the Lord in the air” and the Holy Spirit will leave this earth at the same time with His believers.  What a journey to Glory that day will be for God’s chosen ones to a place free of sin forever.

For those that rejected God’s Grace there will be no reprieve and they will forever be with the father of lies… the devil and a world of tribulation.  We urge everyone to rise and come to the Cross… The Cross is the ‘Transit-point’ to our Savior Jesus Christ who came, died and rose triumphantly to conquer the evil one by redeeming you and me to have an everlasting life in the Presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus our Messiah.

You may have a PhD in theology, you may even be a pastor of a large mega church or even the Pope, and unless we are ‘Born-Again’ there is no place for you. We did not make this up, Jesus said… “You must be Born-Again”.

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we thank You for Your Covenant of Grace. Lord Jesus by Your Redemption we have Victory in You as we are privileged to serve You Lord. Bless our Visitors as we go in Faith knowing that the Best is Yet to Come. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

A Sabbath’s rest for His people (Heb. 4)

God gave a Sabbath’s rest; He also gave us a Sabbatical year and a Jubilee Year.

Hebrews 4:1

A Sabbath-Rest for the People of God ] Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.

Hebrews 4:9

There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God;

Do this…  Enjoy your chores and hope that you will be doing it for another 50 years, if you can you will be healthy.

What is your task today? Is it going shopping, mowing the grass, washing the car, cleaning the pool or just relaxing in the shade?  To be able to perform any of the above 10, 20 or even 30 years from today, consider yourself blessed to be able to do any of the above.

So, don’t complain… as you will be also able to pick the fruits, enjoy a clean car, swim in a clean pool, and to be surrounded by a well mowed and trimmed shrubbery. So, enjoy the ride and praise the Lord for keeping you active and healthy.

Aging is an avoidable process, some of us do better and some do not enjoy their sunset years. For sure everyone can have the Joy of the Lord, regardless of age.  Because when you know the Lord, you know that…’The Best is yet to come’.

So today as you look around and see the clutter in the garage, the best way to fix this is to give away what’s not needed and reduce the clutter. The same for our brains to have a clear mind, hit the delete key and look at the message from the Lord by reading His Word…

Proverbs 3:5-6 [Full Chapter]

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. My feet have closely followed his steps; I have kept to his way without turning aside. Job 23:10-11 NIV

Mark 2:27 In Context

27 And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. 28 Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”

Just think that many theologians and bible scholars are debating the Creation Days, is it 6,000 days or just 6 days? In Faith we accept that our Sovereign God could have done it in 6 Hours, but He made the Heavens, Earth, the living things and us in 6 Days, because he wanted the 7th Day to be His Sabbath. Just think how shallow these highly learned scholars are, if it they are basing their calculation on what Peter mentioned, that a day is like a 1000 Years, then the creation period would be 6,000 Years, if this is so, then the Sabbath would last 1000 Years.

So, are they driving around, going to work or are they in church for 1,000 Year observing the Sabbath? This theory alone points us to the Morning and Evening as a Day as the Bible said.  Are they disputing the inspired words of God?  Are they saying that the writer Moses knew nothing? Are they trying to rewrite the Bible?

This is why the simplest of Chorus... ‘Jesus loves me this I know’ rings the truest in teaching about our Lord Jesus, as it is based on FAITH. Faith is one of the highest mysteries declared by God as a ‘Power’ from Him.

So today we look to our Lord who is all Supreme and the Creator of all things…

His Promise:

I was reading today a statement from Leroy Elms (Navigators) in which he reminds us that a Church without a Children’s program is a church that will be extinct within one generation,  and so would be the human race if we stopped having kids, in less than a century the human race would be extinct.

This is why I am a supporter of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) with a strong focus on a worldwide Children’s program that is a worldwide success.

Reflecting on our Lord’s invitation Jesus said… Matthew 19:14

Jesus said, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven”. Matthew 19:13-15 (in Context) Matthew 19

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come and give you our Praises, for Great is Your Faithfulness… Lord Jesus today as we bring You the petition of releasing Your favors upon our Visitors that are seeking Your peace Lord, Lord let what is being done be for Your Glory and for Your Kingdom, as we Lift You Up on High and Give You the Glory. Lord Jesus in Your precious Name we pray, and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Are you ready? Ready for what? Or should be say…ready or not, as God said…

2 Peter: 3:3-9

Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.

By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.[a]

11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.[b] That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

When boarding an Airplane first-class passenger are boarded first.  In Heavenly realms, the same applies.  Because there will be a rapture where those in Christ will be taken up to be with Him first. This is an event that precedes the final ‘Day of the Lord’ which will follow the ‘Rapture’ . This second period will be the time of tribulation.

Beware that there will be no ‘Coach’ passengers, all in Christ are all ‘First-Class ‘ there are no class system, there will be no Catholics, Presbyterians, Baptist, Methodist, Lutherans or others, only one class… Born-Again just as how Jesus told Nicodemus “You must be born-again”.

So, to face the reality of what is to come, we will ask a question that pertains to right now… Who is the most important person you will meet today, who would you like to meet? Could it be a high-profile celebrity and if you do what would this do for you?  But  the day of the ‘Rapture’ could be today, or in an hour or less… so which boarding pass do we have? remember to Journey with our Lord there is only one-way, no alternate route, no compromise, only one Criterion! To be Born-Again or the answer is “I do not know you”  So,  to ‘know of’ Jesus is not enough to ‘Know Him’ and follow Him is what He said.

His instruction is very Simple…Seek Him First and His Righteousness,  Call on Him and You will be Saved.

You may say what are we talking about, what proof do we have, and how do we know this will occur.  First, we must know the facts:

1.We are created in the Likeness of God

2.We are loved by our Lord

3.Jesus came and Died, and His Triumphant Resurrection was to Redeem us

4. We are able to gain Live-Everlasting in Christ

5. He is returning Again

Action/Coming to our Lord:

2 Corinthians 2:14

But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.

In the Bible the ‘Day of The Lord’ is mentioned 16 times with vivid descriptions, the prophecy dates back centuries before Christ came on that first Christmas and we will just highlight the one spoken by Jesus Himself…

Matthew 24: 29- 30.

29 “Immediately after the distress of those days “The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’

30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.

31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus Who Paid It All

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are, we will be. Lord today we bring You our Visitors and we humble seek Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Warning against ‘Falling-away’ (Heb.4:11)

What ‘Good’ intention do you intend to do today? Many good intentions are interrupted by the forces of temptations, so before ‘Falling-away’ un-sheath your two-edged sword...

The Word of God.

John 1 (NKJV)

The Eternal Word

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Commentary: Intent is 9/10th of the Law… this is a myth; it does not apply in a court of law, but is an idiom used in ole’ England. . But ‘Intent’ is considered a ‘Motive’ when linked to possession, such as being caught with illicit drugs with’ intent’ to distribute; this creates a double offense.  As today as we consider our ‘Intent’ what’s on our mind?

Good intention for self-gain may not be so good at all… in our practice we have applied the precept that “if it’s too good for us, then it can’t be good for the other party’.  in life we have many Pros & Cons of structuring a transaction. No good deed go un-punished is another myth; Equity is an equation that makes the balance in striking a fair deal. In our ‘Real-Life’ Jesus made himself an ‘In-Equitable’ outcome as He took all the in-justice from us.

How would you like to build a house, give someone ‘Free’ occupancy and when you go to do an inspection, they slam the door in your face? In this case you entered the relationship with extreme-good intention, but the occupant had real-bad intention from the get-go. This is what we did to our Lord, yet He continued to love us.  Is His Kindness weakness? To mankind this is how we look at kindness, (you may say “I am not like others”) How long would you tolerate the insult from you non-paying occupant?

By the Grace of our Lord, He has tolerated us and allowed us to live…

Our Lord already knows the end and He already wrote the Victory plan for our lives. But we must come to Him, just like the Kicker must be ready to take the hand-off and punt the ball to win.  Without coming to the Lord, we cannot receive His Salvation, it is free, but we must accept it.  He made us ‘Free-thinkers’ so nothing is ‘forced’ on us by our Lord. This is why Adam and Eve were evicted from the Garden of Eden, they turned away just as they had ‘Victory’ coming into their hands.

Principle: Bear one another burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ… Galatians 6: 2

“God’s law is a natural order, which is Love; so brotherly love fulfills His desires for us”.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1: 7

Action/Coming to our Lord:  Knowing our Sovereign Eternal God endowed us with His Love, His Grace and His Redemption. So, we acknowledge the Supremacy of our Lord Jesus… For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Conclusion: When mankind turned away from God and sought ‘independence’ this is where we find that our independence is like saying; Lord I don’t need you but I need the Air that I breathe, the water that You provided, and the elements of earth that sustain my life I cannot do without, but I don’t want You around…. This is when our loving God said… “Father forgive them for they do not know what they do”

What a privilege our Lord Jesus came to bestow on us… by giving us our citizenships in heaven.

We are reflecting on the Supremacy of our Lord Jesus with the following verses:

Jesus said we can boldly come to Him…

Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer. Lord as we close this day, we thank You for Your Divine Grace and we are confident that You began a good work in Your servants, and You will complete it until the day that we shall see You Lord. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us Your Peace and we thank You for meeting our needs. We look to You Lord Jesus knowing in You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

God’s Gift must be planted, cultivated to yield a bountiful harvest...

For the Farmer he must take the seeds out of the bag and plant then, for the professionals and others with gifts of special talents, they must cultivate and use it. Both are seeking a bountiful harvest, one from their crops, and others from their professions.

What gift did you receive from the Lord? Many may say “I really haven’t received any special gifts”,  Even a blind person has special gift, as in the case of hymn writer; Fanny Crosby,

Fanny Crosby Quotes

“It seemed intended by the blessed providence of God that I should be blind all my life, and I thank him for the dispensation”. ...

“If I had a choice, I would still choose to remain blind...for when I die, the first face I will ever see will be the face of my blessed Savior”.

Just think if you were to lose your sight, what devastation this would be, but to Ms. Crosby, she accomplished  between 5,500 and 9,000 hymns, many are old favorites.

Some of the best servants of God are wheelchair bound, yet many athletes fall victims to this world as ‘Riches to Rags’

Fanny Crosby a blind person wrote some of the most beloved hymns with over 100 million copies of her hymns printed.

Albert Einstein is the great scientist of the twentieth century and notable physicist of all time. It is told that he had learning disability in his childhood. He could not talk till he was three and could not read till he was eight. Despite such problems he later became the noble prize winner for his contribution to the Physics.

Thomas Edison is the great inventor who has over 1000 patents and his inventions are in various fields used in our daily life. In his early life, he was thought to have a learning disability and he could not read till he was twelve

Matthew 25:21
His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

  • We need to adopt the principles of not trying to save our life for our own goal, but give it with no condition even to death
  • We need to let go, and no strings attached so that the Grace of God will take charge of our life
  • This is what we call a living sacrifice

Each of us received specific talents, some with the gift of communication, some with music some inventors and some with financial skills, some are leaders, and some are followers. Whatever skills we possess we can use it to help others. Our pastor told the story of two friends from school growing up one had an accident that rendered her a paraplegic and the other suffered the same fate, they both came together and instead of saying…”Who will marry us in our present state”? They formed a community project to help other paraplegics. So even when we think we are down and out there are always others with more challenge than what you face right now.

So, stop and take stock of God’s special gifts to you.

Yes, you are a chosen one…

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Today, be out of the darkness in His marvelous Light, do this by proclaiming the praises of Him, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Lord Jesus today as we come knowing You are at the Right-Hand of the Father; we give You Praises as it is only by Your Divine Redemption that we are chosen. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Divine providence. We pray in Your Holy Name, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Blessed Assurance Jesus is Mine… by Fanny Crosby

Was Solomon wrong is saying Wisdom is meaningless? (Ecl.1:12)

Ecclesiastes 8  (NIV)

8 Who is like the wise?
Who knows the explanation of things?
A person’s wisdom brightens their face
    and changes its hard appearance.

Obey the King

Obey the king’s command, I say, because you took an oath before God.Do not be in a hurry to leave the king’s presence. Do not stand up for a bad cause, for he will do whatever he pleases. Since a king’s word is supreme, who can say to him, “What are you doing?”

Whoever obeys his command will come to no harm,
and the wise heart will know the proper time and procedure.
For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter,
though a person may be weighed down by misery.

Since no one knows the future,
who can tell someone else what is to come?
As no one has power over the wind to contain it,
a] no one has power over the time of their death.
As no one is discharged in time of war,
so wickedness will not release those who practice it.

So, as Solomon said, stop chasing the Wind and Follow the Lord…

Reflecting back on a story told by Billy Graham of a Youngman that was asked by his dad, “son what would you like to have for your upcoming graduation”? The son answered, I love that car I have been looking at in the showroom down at the dealership, his dad said, we will see…

On the day of his graduation the son came home to find a Bible on his bed with a card, they boy immediately acted by storming out of the house, he left home as this is not what he expected. Time passed and his dad took ill and the son got word that his dad was gravely ill and he should come home to see his dad before he passed, he reluctantly went home but his dad has died, he wondered into his old room that was left intact, the Bible was on the bed the same way it was (Un-opened), he picked it up and opened it, inside was the Deed to the automobile that he wanted, he fell to his knees and asked the Lord to forgive him for his arrogance and for missing out on the times he spent away from his dad and families.

This is a very poignant story that relates to most of us in life.  The metaphor… We are treating our Lord Jesus the same… The ‘Car’ is the Priceless Gift that Jesus brought to us, His Redemption to Life-Everlasting.

Are we leaving Jesus’ Gift-Certificate in the Bible today? Open it and accept His Gift, it will be a life-changing event that last forever.

The Love of the Father / His Forgiveness…

Just like the arrogance of the wayward son that took his share of his inheritance and squandered it, then in humility he came back asking to be like a hired hand, but his dad greeted him with love and affection for his ‘lost son’.

Reading the comments posted in response to Hymns and Gospel music, someone wrote that the book of Revelation was all fantasy, and he also wanted someone to just point him to one single proof that confirmed any stories or events in the bible, He went on deny the sovereignty of Jesus.  The Bible warns us of ‘Scoffers’ in the last days, but this person has been blinded by the devil and led astray.  Unless he comes to Christ the ‘Scales’ will not fall from his eyes.

We would like to point out to this disbelieving person that even today the remnants of Pharaoh’s chariots can be found at the bottom of the Dead Sea… Just like when the Egyptians were chasing the Israelites while crossing the sea, the Lord did not wipe out the Egyptians, he ‘Jammed the wheels’ of the chariots.

Read about this and see the pictures of the Wheels and axles at the bottom of the sea, go to

The Lord allowed Pharaoh’s soldiers time to repent, as they said, ‘let’s get away from the Israelites as their God is helping them’ hopefully they came to the Lord themselves as they were on their way to their death.  Just like the person posting on YouTube his disbeliefs we hope that he will find our Lord, as demonstrated in today’s scripture how our Lord is a forgiving God.

The Love of Christ is all we need in this life and the life to come as by his Redemption we are able Praise our Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God for His wonderful Divine Salvation.

Father we come in Jesus our Lord and Savior, You Lord Jesus is our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God. Jesus, Messiah, we come to You knowing that You first loved us and even while we are sinners You came and died for our Sins; and by Your Divine Resurrection to Life Ever Lasting we are Redeemed by your Blood. Lord be with our Visitors, Lord Jesus we give You our Praises and Thank You for Your Saving Grace, and in You alone is Victory through Your Sacrifice at Calvary. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

The Shepherd… Why is the Lord our Shepherd?  Sheep easily strays, do you?

When one sheep decides to go somewhere, the rest of the flock usually follows, even if it is not a good "decision." For example, sheep will follow each other to slaughter. If one sheep jumps over a cliff, the others are likely to follow.

1 Corinthians 15:33 [Full Chapter]

Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”

Bible search results

As we start this week let us, we reminded that the devil masquerades like an angel of light.

2 Corinthians 11:14  (NIV)

14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

So, put on the full armor of God…

Ephesians 6:10-18 [Full Chapter]

The Armor of God] Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Shepherds have played many important roles in the Bible.

Shepherds are mentioned 118 times in the Bible, and the Lord’s Prayer is

Centered on Shepherd…

Psalm 23

A psalm of David.

1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

2     He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he leads me beside quiet waters,

3     he refreshes my soul.

He guides me along the right paths

    for his name’s sake.

4 Even though I walk

    through the darkest valley,[a]

I will fear no evil,

    for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

    they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;

    my cup overflows.

6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus we thank You for the privilege of bringing Your Good News to all and for our Visitors.  We give You first Place in all and we dedicate to You our endeavors as we go in Faith. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Principle:      Our Lord is always on Time and never behind, He Leads, and we follow.

Prayer:          Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer, Lord Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God, as we start this new week Lord, let each day be a day of Grace.  Lord we place You on High, and we stand at the empty Cross knowing that You ascended to the Throne of Righteousness, and we are privileged to come as You intercedes for us. Lord, we pray for our Visitors and we ask that Your will be done so that You may heal our land. we pray for the rain to cease for the farmers that our nation will still have a salvageable crop. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

What is the whole world worth? A whole lot of problem, or a whole lot of good?

One thing for sure it not worth gaining and losing your soul.

Matthew 16:26

For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

There’s the bragging slogan used…

“He who dies with the most toys wins”.

And on a newer, post-modern version:

He who dies with the most toys wins, but he is still dead!

As said, Yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come, Today is the best time you have, because when you awaken tomorrow it will be another new today.

“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.” ― Mother Theresa

Can you change the course of your future, yes…? It is only possible by the grace of God.

As mere humans we may not be able to change the future, but the what we do in the name of the Lord, our future can be secure.

What more do anyone need? Security that is all encompassing, today and tomorrow, with all our needs met, and above all a secure place in the Lord’s Kingdom. Yes, Jesus said this…

John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

There’s so much we do not know, this is why… God is God and we are mere mortals, but, believing that through the Grace of the Lord by the Blood of Jesus who came to redeem us, we can believe His word of a ‘more’ abundant live. Abundant means to be already sufficient and above our needs, not just getting by, and when Jesus said a ‘more’ abundant, this is well over the top.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

An everlasting Gift of HIS GRACE:” Ephesians 2:8

Verse 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— Verse 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

So we are asking each of our readers to be prepared, and listen to the word of Jesus who said…

2 Corinthians 6:2 For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. In Context | Full Chapter

        Breaking News…

Supreme Court rules that Maryland ‘Peace Cross’ honoring military dead may remain on public land

The "Peace Cross," the focus of an intense court case regarding its upkeep and placement on public land, stands at a busy intersection in Bladensburg, Md. (Michael Robinson Chavez/The Washington Post)

June 20 at 10:53 AM

The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that a large cross erected as a tribute to war dead may continue to stand on public land outside Washington in the Maryland suburbs.

The justices reversed a lower court that said the cross was an unconstitutional endorsement of religion.

“The cross is undoubtedly a Christian symbol, but that fact should not blind us to everything else that the Bladensburg Cross has come to represent,” Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. wrote. “For some, that monument is a symbolic resting place for ancestors who never returned home.. For others, it is a place for the community to gather and honor all veterans and their sacrifices for our Nation. For others still, it is a historical landmark. For many of these people, destroying or defacing the Cross that has stood undisturbed for nearly a century would not be neutral and would not further the ideals of respect and tolerance embodied in the First Amendment.”

The vote was 7 to 2  with several justices writing separate opinions. Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor dissented, Ginsburg emphasizing her disagreement by reading part of her dissent from the bench.

Are we all Seekers?  Columbus sought a new world; NASA is exploring Space, and you?

While Columbus thought he was sailing to Asia, he was headed to the Caribbean. Today NASA announced… Two Potentially Earth-Like Alien Planets Found Around Nearby Star.

Nearby is a relative term in astronomy. The earth-like planets are 12.5 Light Years away.

Revelation 5:11 In Context

Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,

These tens of thousand found their way to the throne by God’s divine guidance.

2 Corinthians 5:6

So, we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord.

Today as ‘Seekers’ we are confident of:
2 Corinthians 5:8

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

Reproduction… Jesus said unless…

TEXT: John 12:24

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

1 Corinthians 15:36

Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies.

Commentary: The Egyptians placed grains in the hands of their mummies; as told by Jesus…  Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

So, we see that the grains in the hands of the mummy remained alone and never reproduces.

When Jesus said…  “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain”; Jesus was using this as a metaphor of His Crucifixion declaring His Triumphant Resurrection… His reference to…”If it dies, it produces much grain was a declaration of His Saving Grace through His Blood of Atonement.  We who are washed in His Blood through His Holy Spirit, His blood is a SEAL applied on each of us as a ‘Deposit’ paid by our Lord. We are bought at a price, a price so astounding it’s Priceless, but He gives it  ‘Free’ and He is ready to place this ‘Deposit’ on you making you eligible to be with Him in His Kingdom. A place Jesus called ‘Paradise’

Key Factor:  There is nothing better than to know that you can say…”I AM A CHILD OF THE MOST-HIGH”

Confession is not salvation… To confess one’s sin doesn’t save you from the sin. Confession with acknowledgement of our sin against God must include asking His Forgiveness plus turning from our sin towards God through Jesus Christ our Savior who redeemed us.

Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Lord and savior we come.

Lord as we gather, we are assured that You Lord Jesus is in our midst and You are our Mediator to the Father.  Lord we thank You for Your Divine Grace and we thank you Lord for the privilege of serving You and for our many Visitors. Lord bless each of our Visitors as we Praise You and give You the Glory, we thank You Lord that whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Giving to the Lord the First Fruit… Dedicate it and give it in His Name

Giving the First Fruit means God gets the first portion, and this is for purposes of what portion is the Lord’s share… To this we consider it is the ‘Top’ portion, meaning the Lord’s portion is off-the top prior to Taxes, in other words…if it is ten percent, it will be 10% of the Gross Profit. Remember God doesn’t want your ‘left-overs’

As a good steward, your gift to the Lord should be a selected ministry in which they are well managed with a real mission for the Lord.

What a privilege to give.

As we decide to give, remember none of us can ever out give the Lord.

Never holdback… You can never out give the Lord, His portion to you is a double portion.

As we discuss giving, we are saying never to holdback, as what we give really is from the Lord….

When Mary anointed Christ, she gave her entire fortune, as the cost of the perfume was worth a year’s wages.

John 12: 6-13

Jesus Anointed at Bethany

While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.

When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked. “This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.”

10 Aware of this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 11 The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me. 12 When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.13 Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

As we read that the perfume was worth a year’s wages…

John 12

“Why wasn’t this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year’s wages.

We are not saying you are to give a year’s wages in the offering today, but what Mary did for Jesus was not intended to a gift in trade, in other words, many preachers tell their congregation to give as the giving is ‘sowing a seed’ and that the seed will return an abundance to the giver.   This is what we said yesterday, this type of giving is really an intent to ‘negotiate’ with the Lord.

Mary had no ulterior motive of receiving an abundance on her gift, she did this knowing that Jesus was her Lord.  So, today we say give to the Lord the First Fruit and let your gift be like the widow’s mite.  This is the poor widow that gave the last of her two coins, to which Jesus said her small mite was worth more than the rich givers.

Jesus is the Giver of everything, Life, health, wealth, and above all His Divine Salvation, and while we receive these, He also is giving each of us a ‘Double-Portion’ which is His Eternal Pardon that placed our names in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

So today come to Christ and give Him your ultimate Gift… the Gift of Yourself as He will transform you and make you a new Creation in Him.

We praise our Lord this day as we come to You lord Jesus knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us.  Lord we bring you ourselves as we seek to be a Vessel for You Lord. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your Divine Grace and Your Providence as we go in Faith.  Thank You Lord Jesus, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday: June 19, 2019

No… God will not laugh at your plan, just let your plan be blessed by Him…

Better yet, let God layout the plan for you.

Just as how Jesus said… “Father let it be Your Will”

Matthew 26:39

He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.

Matthew 26:42 In Context

Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be Victorious.

Jesus asked, “ if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me”. Jesus knew that He would be crucified, and that He would Rise from death, yet He asked the Father to let Him be spared.

Jesus knew His Mission of coming to Redeem sinners.

But here we see Jesus as a Man, but ultimately the Father’s Will was carried out.

On Resurrection morning Jesus rose to Victory, He was seen by hundreds, stayed with His disciples for 40 days, and then He ascended to Heaven, sitting at the Right-Hand of the Father.

So, what is your plan? Most of our earthly life is spent in our careers, our business,

And the need to earn and spend, and this is our daily routine. What a boring life?

Do as what Jabez did… Seek God’s Plan and ask that your horizon be broaden, seek

New challenges, seek to serve the Lord, and you will be amazed as

He expands your territory and bring you Joy.

1 Chronicles 4:10 [Full Chapter]

And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So, God granted him what he requested.

Do this…     Giving Thanks and in Faith believe that our requests have been heard and granted, Jesus said this.

Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. In Context

Remember…    Never brag about tomorrow, the future belongs to the Lord, and it is by His will we have tomorrow.

James 4:13

Do Not Boast About Tomorrow ] Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit

Luke 12:19 And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.”

James 4:16

But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

Here’s what we can ‘Boast’ about…

Galatians 6:14

But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

2 Corinthians 12:9

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Commentary: One could say that the most precious thing in our life is life itself.  This could be the most precious thing we possess, but what is life? It is just a vapor… James 4:14

The famous comedian Rodney Dangerfield once said, “I am so old, so I do not buy green bananas” But Jesus said… “I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” John 15: 5 NKJV

Today we have the assurance of the faithfulness of our Lord… “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”.  Philippians 15: 5

Because God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life… John 3: 16

His Promise:

John 14: 1-3 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

14 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

Accept His Invitation today; come to our Lord as He is willing to accept you just as you are…

Pray:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and through You Lord Jesus we can be Redeemed as we come with a contrite heart seeking Your Forgiveness, Lord we thank you for Your Saving Grace and bless our Visitors, as we are privileged to serve for Your Glory, we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Who’s waiting for whom? Are you waiting on God, or is God waiting on you?

Many of us may be waiting on God, and for some God is waiting on them.

Two things to be guarded against…

Do not get the Pharaoh’s syndrome ( Ignoring the True God)

Never put God to the Test.

While Moses was telling Pharaoh to let his people go, Pharaoh was ignoring the God of Israel, and he did put God to the test. We all know how this ended.

Today, there’s a storm brewing with Iran flexing its muscle and tempting the Lord.

For eons, and centuries have passed since the exodus of the Israelites to Canaan. This was accomplished by the Power of the God of Host *The Creator.

Now Iran is doing what Pharaoh did, and a lesson will be learned by the manifestation of…

 Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

Gulf Infographic

Where’s the Good News today? Here’ some Good News… God has placed our nation in a pivotal position led by men of faith.

And we can trust our Lord as He said…

Romans 8:31-39 [Full Chapter]

God’s Everlasting Love ] What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

Who are you waiting on? Know this… God is waiting on you. So, stop waiting on God and come to Him and know that He is ready to do the best for you. Imagine, God said to Samuel?

1 Samuel 3:10

Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other  times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.”

Here we see, God called, and Samuel responded.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus... just as You spoke, and Samuel said; ‘Your servant hears’ Lord we are listening. Lord we thank You for Your covenant of ‘No weapon formed against Your people will prosper’. Lord we are comforted knowing; ‘Greater is You in us than those in this world’.

Lord thank You for our Visitors and bless us all in Your Holy Name we pray. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

As we begin this new week, have you asked the Lord, what’s his plan for you this week?

God will never give you more than you can handle. So, do not be timid to say… “ Lord send me, I am here”.

Remember Moses received God’s instructions and Blueprints to build All of God’s plans.   We may not see this as we experience our life-experiences… but He said… ‘My Plan is to prosper you…  Jeremiah 29:10-12 New International Version (NIV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. His Assurance…

Question…is there a drug problem in our society, and who is responsible for it?

What is the new plague of our generation? Guess what? It’s man-made, designer drugs, and other chemical substance.

Think of this… Is there a conspiracy against our society? Why do we need the school system to dispense an addictive drug…? Ritalin®?

A major factor is the growing popularity of Ritalin, a drug prescribed for hyperactive children and those with short attention spans, which calms them and helps them concentrate. This has become a form of ‘recreational drug’ and is severely abused.

Was this intended to be the ‘prelude’ to growing a nation of addicts? It’s a good thing that this drug Ritalin was not around when Albert Einstein went to school, because he would have been declared Attention deficit

News headline…  Drug-dispensing Role Swells into a Bitter Pill for Schools…

It's that trend to medicate that has sent the number of student prescriptions soaring.

Ritalin™ is the common name for methylphenidate, classified by the Drug Enforcement Administration as a Schedule II narcotic—the same classification as cocaine, morphine and amphetamines.1 It is abused by teens for its stimulant effects.

So, what does this have to do with our Daily-Devotional?  The above real-life fact is an alarming trend. And we cannot blame the parents as society imposed this on the parent by the school system, the alternative to having the kids being exposed to this, which spawned the national growth of the Home-Schooling network.

So, our Daily devotional which is more like a blog is pointing to the ills of society and to what Jesus said…” I am not of this world”

God’s plan will not be over-ruled by men, but we want to reflect on what Jesus said…”I am not of this world” so when we read of the disciples and learning that of the twelve, 10 were martyred, (Judas committed suicide) all except John, who lived to write about the coming days… Therefore, it was God’s plan to take the 10 martyrs home to paradise, just as how he did not save Stephen from the stoning to death but welcomed him home, and even John the Baptist, he allowed Herod to behead him because Jesus knew it was time for them to leave this earth, He did save Paul when he was stoned by the crowd and cast out of town to die, but Paul was revived to continue as the Vessel of our Lord Jesus as he chose Paul to be the bearer of His Good News to the Gentiles.

Here's a good plan for us this week, stand firm and know this…

Romans 8:

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus open the eyes of the parents and let them repel the influence of the system that create substance abuse, Lord, just as you did in the Temple Court driving out the money changers, You will say enough is enough, as that day is coming. Thank You Lord for our Visitors as we place all in Your hands. To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Who is this Jesus? He is the incarnate of God and He is not the ‘new kid’ on the block, that came 2019 years ago.  Jesus was there from the beginning and as the prophet Isaiah said…Isaiah 53, written over 700 years before Christ came born of a Virgin and written in Colossians 1: 16, Jesus, ‘The Christ’ is the great “I AM”

Standing on God’s promises… It is forever and an unbreakable bond.

A Bond is...

A promise, pledge, vow, avowal, oath, word, word of honor, solemn word, guarantee, assurance, being ‘bonded’ by glue.

God’s Promise is a Spiritual Bond.

So, When He said... ”I will never leave you nor forsake you” This is an eternal promise.

Hebrews 13:5

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Today as we write… we want to be optimistic about the future of God’s Kingdom. As you play the Praise Music below, stop and thank the Lord for the Youth of China, Spain and all those who are Praising the Lord.  We urge you to play the Chinese YouTube® even if you do not understand Mandarin, just immerse yourself in the Joy of the Praise, as these are the future leaders of a country representing 1.4 Billion people, the same applies to our Hispanics audiences as well. Noteworthy; 40% of the world’s population are under 25 years old.

John 1:1

The Eternal Word ] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 3:15

that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

John 10:28

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

John 17:3

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

Commentary: Behold my Jesus stands at the door and knock. While He can enter without opening the door, but He is calling me to receive Him, and His mission is to bring me Joy, as he said as I stand at the door and know and if I answers, He will come in and dine with me.  What a privilege this would be to sit at a table set by my Lord and to be just like when He sat at dinner with the disciples.

Yes, my Jesus has been at my door and He came because He wants to give me Peace, Joy, Hope, His Love, His care and His plan for my life.

Today as I gather with all my friends and families, I will Thank Him and Praise Him for His Graciousness knowing that it is only by His Grace that I am saved and journeying to His Kingdom, where He has prepared a place for me.

Jesus said…”I am not of this world” what did He mean by this statement? No need to wonder about this.  He ascended to Heaven, but He did not abandon us; He said The Holy Spirit would be with us while He went to His Father. The same Holy Spirit that descended on the day of Pentecost where 5,000 came to Jesus through Peter’s telling them the Good News, this Holy Spirit is with us right now.

Jesus said… “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them”.  Matthew 18: 20.

Jesus said we must have Faith, and Faith is a belief in something unseen, He said if we have faith like a grain of mustard seed, (which is the size of this . dot) we can move mountains.  Jesus spoke about mountains, and these are ‘mountains’ in our lives... such as: Health, Finances, Families, Relationships and our love for others like ourselves.

Remembering that it is not what we do that saves us, it is by the ‘Grace’ of God through His Blood.

Principle: When you know the Lord Jesus, He will give you a clean heart, and He will renew your Spirit with a clear mind.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 NASB

Action/Coming to our Lord:

1 John 5:14-15  (NASB)

14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that 2,019 years ago when You came to earth, You came so that we will have life and have it more abundantly. Words… once spoken cannot be recalled, you can recall a car, but not words.

Some Words spoken is like a spent bullet, it’s fired and does damage.

Word of Praise is like a poem, delivered in harmony and instead of damages, it heals the wound and calms the soul.

Word are expressions of our intention, and our intent should be good, and our expression should be of giving thanks to the Lord.

Today, as we express our gratitude to our Lord, we can come to Jesus without an appointment. This, we cannot do in the case of going to the dentist, the doctor, or even to service your car, you need an appointment.  But, when it comes to church, there is no need for an appointment, and right now we can impromptu go to the Lord at anytime.

Psalm 37:4 [Full Chapter]

Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

What’s the secret here? The ‘desires of the heart could be a lot of things, a big house, a luxury car, etc., could these be part of God’s supply? Maybe, all good things are from Him

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

2 Corinthians 9:8 In Context

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

What did we just read?

God will make His Grace flow freely upon you,  will you ‘Always’ have full sufficiency of all things in abundance? Yes, God did say this. But the caveat is… all in abundance for the good work that He has commissioned us to do.

As we seek the Lord, let us remember…

Romans 11: 33-36

33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has become His counselor?”
35 “Or who has first given to Him
And it shall be repaid to him?”

36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Matthew 6:33
 [Full Chapter]

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (As well)

Father in Heaven, we pray in Jesus Name. Lord Jesus as You are in our midst, we acknowledge Your Holy Presence and give You Praises and thank You for interceding for us. Lord bless us and our Visitors as we go in Faith knowing that You said; You will supply all our needs according to Your Heavenly Riches. We thank You Lord and in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

Being rational with patience, pause and analyze is always a good approach

Sometimes someone may say, or do something that offended you, and you may have reacted by terminating your relationship with that person.

Sometimes a major blunder could be made by an impetus response that cost the company millions of dollars.

Waiting around is not what Jesus did. He was constantly on the move, by age Twelve He was already full of knowledge from His Father. We saw Him in the Synagogue questioning and answering the elders with authority, we saw Him over-turning the tables of the money changers in the Temple, and we saw Him healing many.

Jesus made things happen… He was not waiting for things to ‘happen’ He was proactive when He healed the Blind on the Sabbath. He willingly went to the Cross and He came back alive and spent 40 days with His disciples.

In business schools they will tell you to focus on the objectives… what if the objective is not within reach? And what if the objective is really not addressing the intrinsic ‘core’ of what the mission is all about?  Let’s take the case of Penn-Central Railroads. Here we see a giant in their industry that grew and became entrenched in the direction of the company of ‘Railroading’ and not on their core industry. What was their ‘Core’ Industry?Transportation.  Yes, they completely ignored the real core of what they were in.  We all know the history of this mammoth failure that was merged into a consolidated operations… ConRAIL® and since then, a giants of Transportation were spawned with Tri-Modal logistics of; RAIL-OTR-Trucking – Air Links & Ocean, yes this is the example of a ‘Core business’ so today we look at the CORE of our Creator.

The Core is the “TRINITY” and the Trinity is the Greatest of all provided by our Creator to all Christians,  as we cannot come to God without His Son who is His Incarnate GOD in One of His Holy Trinity.

In Life we can make the same mistake, the world’s success stories are filled with many that had no focus, but some were simply ready to seize the opportunity, do some due diligence and then become focused at their ‘niche’ that filled a need.  The shipping magnate Onassis started out as a little messenger boy for US Service officers, he used his ingenuity to identify ‘opportunities’ and then seize on an opportunity. Many times what we focus on may be the wrong projects, such as Direct Current (DC) versus Alternating Current (AC), and after spending millions on DC, J.P. Morgan the backer ditched DC and grab a hold of AC., the rest is history.

Bill Gates was not waiting around to launch DOS, but the inventor of the system that Gates had to Purchase at the last moment to keep an appointment with IBM was what gave birth to Microsoft®. What happened to the inventor of the system that Gates bought and took to mainstream? The inventors were probably ‘Waiting-around’ for something to happen.  Yes, it did happen for them as Gates bought it for a pittance and made one of the World’s richest firm, and empowered America with productivity.  Probably, providence had this for Gates to be the beneficiary as he has demonstrated good stewardship to humanity, and we hope that Bill and Melinda are doing this for the Glory of God, as they continue their good works.

One thing we must always remember, that nothing we do, nothing we have or how much we do or ever possess can save us… Ephesians 2: 8 -10 said…

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Hebrews 12:28 (NIV)

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,

Let us come to our Lord boldly as said in 2 Timothy 1: 7 NKV

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind…

For we know that… We are now Children of the most High as said in 1 John 3: 2-3

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus because You were there from the beginning of it all, Lord you are the Great ‘I AM” , we thank you for Your Graciousness and Your divine Redemption. Lord we come in the shadow of the empty cross, but we know that were two or more are gathered, You are in our Midst… Lord thank You for sending the Holy Spirit, and let it be a ‘Day of Pentecost’  everyday until You return. Lord we ask your blessings on us all and for our many Visitors. In Your Holy Name we pray and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday June 12, 2019

What’s better…  Discernment, Trust, Faith, or; Grace? make a choice…

Choose all the above and focus on God’s Grace.

Grace is ‘Un-deserved’ we cannot demand it, nor can we purchase it.

James 3: NIV

Two Kinds of Wisdom

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

Be Still and Know that He is God…

“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.  This is what the ancients were commended for...And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.”  Hebrews 11:1-2, 6

Father bring to my mind the ways I have doubted you and forgive me for the times I have questioned your character and goodness. Forgive me for twisting your Word to mean something other than what you intended, and for not believing your promises.  Help me reject the crafty whispers of doubt the enemy brings to my mind and listen only to the voice of my Good Shepherd.

His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 2: But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Use the power you have today, are you aware of it? Find it and use it for His Glory

The Scripture has much to say about this…

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus today as we go in faith, we thank You for Your Providence and Your guidance.  Lord as we place all in Your hands, we seek Your Divine blessings on our Visitors and Praise You for Your Graciousness.  To You Lord Jesus be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Turning lemons into lemonade… making a wrong turn that led to success

No one likes a Cliché… but lemons do make good lemonade. So, when life hands you a lemon make some refreshing lemonade.

In Jacob’s life his father-in-law Laban tricked him, and he ended up marrying the wrong daughter.

It turned out that Laban’s deception of having Jacob marrying his eldest daughter was God’s will, as Leah bore six sons:  Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar and Zebulun.  They were among the founders of the 12 tribes of Israel.  From the tribe of Judah came Jesus ChristSavior of the world.

Genesis 29:

Jacob Marries Leah and Rachel

15 Then Laban said to Jacob, “Because you are my relative, should you therefore serve me for nothing? Tell me, what should your wages be?” 16 Now Laban had two daughters: the name of the elder was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel. 17 Leah’s eyes were [b]delicate, but Rachel was beautiful of form and appearance.

18 Now Jacob loved Rachel; so, he said, “I will serve you seven years for Rachel your younger daughter.”

19 And Laban said, “It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to another man. Stay with me.” 20 So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed only a few days to him because of the love he had for her.

21 Then Jacob said to Laban, “Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go into her.” 22 And Laban gathered together all the men of the place and made a feast. 23 Now it came to pass in the evening, that he took Leah his daughter and brought her to Jacob; and he went into her. 24 And Laban gave his maid Zilpah to his daughter Leah as a maid. 25 So it came to pass in the morning, that behold, it was Leah. And he said to Laban, “What is this you have done to me? Was it not for Rachel that I served you? Why then have you deceived me?”

26 And Laban said, “It must not be done so in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn. 27 Fulfill her week, and we will give you this one also for the service which you will serve with me still another seven years.”

28 Then Jacob did so and fulfilled her week. So, he gave him his daughter Rachel as wife also. 29 And Laban gave his maid Bilhah to his daughter Rachel as a maid. 30 Then Jacob also went into Rachel, and he also loved Rachel more than Leah. And he served with Laban still another seven years.

A different kind of success also loyalty based…

While Jacob was loyal to Laban, we see another Loyalty below…

The fact is… Repeat customers build a strong revenue base, as seen in…

  • Chick-Fil-A, which has maintained an operator turnover ratio that is substantially below its competitors’ rates. The loyalty effect has allowed operators to earn far more than other competing organizations while keeping the company private.

Not only is Chick-Fil-A serving real food, the founder’s dedication to the core value of their Christian Faith, and their non wavering principle of God First. This chain is considered the top Food chain in the USA.

Chick-Fil-A Corporate Philosophy…

Corporate purpose. “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come into contact with Chick-fil-A.”

The U.S. Marine’s Motto… The Marine motto "Semper Fidelis" means "always faithful" in Latin

Let us apply Semper Fidelis to our Lord who made all things possible.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord today as we go in faith, we seek Your Divine Grace and Your Providence with the knowledge that we must be good stewards of Your Grace. Lord thank You for our Visitors and be with each of us as we look to You knowing that Your Faithfulness abounds in our lives. Lord let our endeavors be realized for Your Glory. In Your Name Lord Jesus, we pray and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday: June 10, 2019

A Dream come through, is it a good dream? Something good?

Do you remember your dreams? Is there one that you wish could be a reality?

Be careful what you wish for… or prayed for.

Israel prayed for a king and the king they received was Saul.

In our personal lives… the old adage of; be careful what you wish for, wishing for something good may be proper,  but wishing bad things for others may even be bad for oneself.

We all have a dream that we wish were true, a dream of being in a new magnificent place with extraordinary serenity would be one of the most desirable dreams. Yes, this is more than probable, it is highly possible, and there is such a place. In fact, it is reserved for each of us. So, make reservations today.

The future is Now! With God His time is immortal, in Him our future is alive and well…

If you could get the date of the events that will occur in your life ahead of when it will happen, would you like to know:

  1. The date when I will marry
  2. The date when I will buy a new house
  3. The date when I will inherit a large fortune from a relative
  4. The date when I will be promoted to the top position in my company

  1. The date when I will lose my secure job
  2. The date when I will die
  3. Or the date when I will accept the Lord Jesus as my Savior.
  4. And the date when I will meet the Lord.

The obvious dates that we would like to have are 1 thru 4 and 7 thru 8, these are good.

5 & 6 represents failure and losses.

Good to remember and spread it around…

The Date for His Return is not yet known, but there are many clues and the following states clearly of His return.

Matthew 24:30-32 New King James Version (NKJV)

30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His [a]elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The Parable of the Fig Tree

32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.

2 Peter 3:10

The Day of the Lord ] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. In Context

But above this God provided a way for you to be saved. Saved from what? the Wrath of God, why? Because as the Bible said…

Romans 3:10

As it is written: “There is none  righteous, no, not one; In Context

Only by the Righteousness of Christ, by His Redeeming Blood, we are made righteous.

And because of His Grace,  we will not be judged, and His Word said…

Romans 8:1

Free from Indwelling Sin ] There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. In Context

Many of our readers may say we are not writing anything new, as we already know this. But, for many these facts are new and sharing the Love of Christ and His Divine Grace is a privilege to be made known.  And, even if you already know that in Christ there’s salvation by His redemption and the assurance of being free from condemnation, it is a good re-assurance to reaffirm our faith in Him.

Father in Heaven, Lord Jesus we come and by Your Divine and Holy Presence in our midst, we come and give You or Praises. Lord bless our Visitors and we all go in Faith knowing that all thing works together for the Good of those who loves You. Lord we reaffirm our love by adoration and thank you for Your Divine Redemption as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday: June 9, 2019

Do you have the love and care of the Lord, are you experiencing it?

Yes, God loves everyone, and He cares for all.

One can only experience God’s care when you become aware of His Providence.

What is Providence? It is the protective power of God. Providence cannot come from your bank, your house, your belongings. Let’s take your bank as an example.  Banks will only make money on your money, or charging you interest on a loan, there’s no providence there.

Today we can stand and give thanks to the Lord for His unconditional love and his faithfulness.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Romans 8:38-39

New King James Version (NKJV)

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What is a ‘Break-through’ Prayer? Our Lord spoke of many that Prayed, and He warned about using repetitious phrases and praying like many ceremoniously… One of the Prayers mentioned in the Bible is a short and direct sincere Prayer…’Lord Save me a Sinner’.

Genelle Guzman-McMillan the last survivor from the World Trade Towers, her prayer was answered while trapped on the 13th floor in the rubble that fell on her. Genelle’s story has been featured in many publications of her prayers being answered and her miraculous rescue and recovery and becoming a born-again Christian. She tells the story of being found after pushing her hand through an opening and someone held unto her, he told her that his name was Paul and he won’t let go of her until they get her out, she had an instant calmness even being semi buried.

After her rescue and meeting the crew of rescuers, she asked for Paul and they said they had no one with the name of Paul, Genelle tried to find Paul but he never stepped forward, she had given her life to Christ while buried in the rubble, and now realized her rescue was for a purpose and her faith in Christ led her to know that her miraculous rescue by ‘Paul’, finding her was a mission from God hearing her ‘Break-Through’ Prayer in her time of need.

Listen… somewhere out there your name was spoken, answer the call and get answers…

Just think we are NOT redeemed by Silver or Gold, but by the Blood of Christ, He gave us a pedigree that is so high it cannot be bred, bought or created by any genetic engineering. Only by His Blood of Atonement we are ‘Sealed’ with Life-Everlasting to be in His Kingdom.

Text:  1 Peter 1: 13-21  Living Before God Our Father

13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we thank You for Your Word of assurance that You will never leave us not forsake us, and that nothing can separate us from Your Love for us as we trust in You Lord Jesus.  Lord let this day be filled with Your Peace that transcends all understanding. Lord bless our Visitors as in You we have Victory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday: June 8, 2019

Grin and bear it, yes or no? when is enough is enough? Nonsense is nada, nil.

100% of zero is zero, talk is cheap, but facts are facts. So, do we grin and bear it? Listening to nonsense?

In the Three years of Jesus‘ ministry, the Sanhedrin and others spent most of their time trying to trap Him, seeking ways to discredit Him and to persecute Him.

His Crucifixion was carried out by people that thought they were condemning a man that claimed to be the Son of God. But little did they know they were in fact carrying out the Will of God.

The ever-presence Messiah

Day 1

God said: “Let there be Light” and Yeshua appeared

Scripture said… Jesus is the Light of the World.

Factoid: The Sun was not placed in the sky until the fourth day. Therefore, it was Jesus as the Light of the world.

Colossians 1:15

Number 2:

The coming of Jesus as declared…

The announcement of the Birth of Jesus:

Luke 2: But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.

Luke 2:10-11

For unto you is born in the city of David, a Savior is born…

This was the first coming of Jesus, the Anointed Christ.

Number 3:

The ‘second-Coming’ will be as described in the Thessalonians…

1 Thessalonians 4:17

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever.

So, clarifying the “Visits” of Jesus = first on the day of Creation + Jesus born of a Virgin + His return = 1+1+ His return = third time.

Factoid: Jesus is always present in the Holy Spirit, as He said…

Where one or more are gathered He is always in the Midst when we come to the Father.

Summary: the “Second” coming is of Jesus as the Return of our Messiah, therefore it is His “Second” Return as The Messiah.

Compiled by Maurice Hoo

Today we have a society that has gone off the deep end into making a mockery of His intelligent Design.  Not only are we doing this, if Jesus was to return without the Trumpet sound, most likely, He would not be recognized and would be greeted by scoffers and probably be arrested or be looked at as an insane impersonator.   Even in our Churches, if He was to come as He is and sat in the front Pew quietly, many of us would just stare at this strange looking fellow and probably not say…”Welcome to our Congregation’ (Except for the greeters)   in fact it would have to take a hot looking couple driving up in a Bentley Coupe and walking into the sanctuary that many would probably take notice and say hello how are you and probably extend a welcome to our church….

His Promise:

“He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’... Revelation 21:5, NIV)

His Faithfulness:

Our Creator knew our finite strength. He gave us  physical strength, but our spiritual strength is only gained through our walk with our Lord. We need the Grace of our Lord, and to be equipped with the Armor that He has provided to overcome the evil forces in this world.  Ephesians 6:17  Put on the Armor of God… Heb 4:12 12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

James 4:7  Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. - Colossians 1:17

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today in Faith we come knowing that You ascended into Heaven and sits at the right-Hand of our Father on the Throne of Righteousness.  Lord today we seek Your guidance as we pray for this nation of the United States and ask Your divine blessings upon this country that our people will turn to You and seek You and You will heal our land. Lord, we ask Your Divine Blessings on our Visitors and grant us all Your Favors. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore. Amen.

Devotionals for Friday: June 7, 2019

Focus on solutions and not the problem, seek what will be sustainable…

Focused at the problem is like looking at the hole in the Doughnut and not the Doughnut. The hole in the center is nothing. So, focus on the solution and get straightened out.

Ask the Lord for Clarity and that you will have discernment to know the chaff from the wheat.

In life we meet a lot of people that are really life ‘Chaff’ they blow in the wind and are always burdened with some form of a problem.

Focus on the positive and avoid the negative. Speak of positive things.

Never speak using words of poverty, speak of the abundance

and the providence of the Lord.

Jesus spoke of an abundant life; He gave us the secret to His providence.

In Matthew 3: 33 He revealed His road to victory.

Come and buy without money… all you will ever need are here for ‘Free’

Isaiah 55:1

[ An Invitation to Abundant Life] “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.

Commentary:  As someone said…"Life is too short to be busy." (Tim Kreider) and we are saying… Life without Christ by being busy in this world will cause you to miss the stairway to His Kingdom… Jesus is there pointing the way. Find Him and follow Him.

In God’s equation, you do not have to ‘prove’ anything, because God already knows you and your obligations, you are an ‘open-book’ in the sight of God. Just like when Jesus said to Nathanial… “I saw you under the fig tree”

John 1:50

Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.”

We cannot ‘prove’ anything to God… because Jesus came to die for sinners, and this include us all, we cannot prove our righteousness, as all out righteousness are like a ‘filthy-rag’ If we could get to heaven without the Redemption of the Atoning Blood of Christ, then Jesus died in vain.

Galatians 2:21

I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

We cannot make our Lord a Liar, because the Bible said:

Romans 3:23

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

this means that we are all sinners and are all condemned to a second death… But Jesus came that we may have His Redemption by dying in our place.

Ephesians 1:7 [Full Chapter]

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Romans 3:24

being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Ephesians 1:14

(Jesus) who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. |

  1. Do not give permission to the evil one. Did you know the devil cannot use you unless you grant your permission to allow him?
  2. Why the devil does want your soul? Because you are worth a lot to Jesus
  3. The Power of Prayer... Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said…

John 14:3
And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

His Warning: Be aware of Jesus’ statement, He said ‘If”; why? Because while He was going, He would only build a place for those that are in Faith and the unbelievers would not be an heir to His Kingdom. (Therefore, His Kingdom cannot be claimed by an Atheist) Many of us read this and presumed that Jesus’ statement of Him going meant that ‘everyone’ would receive a ‘place’, there is no entitlement by default, and Jesus statement of “IF” was very specific to believers in Faith.

Only He (our Lord) knows the future…James 4: 14

14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

Gracious God our Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus because You are Holy and by Your Redemption we were redeemed by Your Grace, Lord by Your Sacrifice at Calvary we can come boldly to You Lord; as You said come and You will give us Rest. Lord today as we go forward in Faith, equip our Visitors and us all and enable us by Your Holy Spirit. Lord lead us to Green Pastures and Still Water of Life. We seek You Lord and Praise You for Your Unconditional Love and Thank You for Your Graciousness. In Your Holy Name, we pray Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Are we there yet? Be patient and occupy your time with good things…

Are we there yet? The Israelites lacked faith, but inspite of this the Lord led them out of Egypt, through the Red Sea.

Text:  Exodus 14: 15-16

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

Jesus is our Just-in-time Provider… We should listen to Jesus, He said be anxious for nothing…

He provides total Abundance, Power and is eternally dependable, He never fails, come to Him for it is His will for you to rejoice in Christ

His promise of an Abundant Life… God’s move is not a mysterious way, He moves in a Divine way

Text: Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7

He knows our thought even before we think it…
How can our Lord know this? Because He is Omnipresent, and Omnipotent

Humans are a privileged group as Our Lord endowed us to be in His likeness; but our sinful nature prevented us from gaining the powers that He intended us to have.

We are like a car that is equipped with power options that will not work because the switch is broken, why? The sinful nature of man prevented us from achieving the real power of what our Lord endowed.

Are we there yet? No, we are not forgotten by God…

The massive migration of people displaced by the war and other conflicts is a current news item.  The journey to the Promised-Land was a more epic event, Moses led millions through the desert to Canaan, and the Lord did not forget them, in fact he cared for them while ‘training’ them in preparation to enter the Promised-Land.

We are all a ‘Diaspora’ of some sort. Why? Wide-Spread changes are making many feels like we are a foreigner.

We can come to our Lord Jesus right where we are and he will receive us, and we can have His assurance that we will be saved by His Blood.  As we journey through this life, with a lifespan of 70-80-90 or even a hundred years old…we need to stop and know that He is God; as the bible said; what is Man? That You are mindful of him?  Alexander the Great (356-323 BC) who conquered the Persian Empire, into Egypt and India, died at age 33, at his death he requested that his hands were not to be wrapped and they were to be visible showing that his hands were “Empty” a bold statement while he gained much in life, but in death he could not take anything with him. Let us be mindful of this…

Hebrews 2:6 But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him? Hebrews 2:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 2 (Whole Chapter)

His warning…

John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.Isaiah 1:24

24 Therefore the Lord, the Lord Almighty,
the Mighty One of Israel, declares:
“Ah! I will vent my wrath on my foes and avenge myself on my enemies.

Romans 8:11 New International Version (NIV) 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

His Assurance:

Romans 5:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Matthew 26: 41 NIV

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come to You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and You intercedes for us, Lord. Lord be with our Visitors today and fill us all with Your Holy Spirit and direct our pathways as we seek to be led by Your divine guidance as the Author and Finisher of our Faith.  And by Faith we come and accept You Lord knowing that all things work for good to those that love You, and in acknowledgement of Your Word, that You will never leave us nor forsake us, Lord we give You the Praise and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen.

Presumption is a dangerous position to be in… (The story of the Jack)

FOCUS:          He is ready to lend you the ‘Jack’ and even will help change the flat tire…

The story of Presumption… ‘The Flat tire with no Jack’

The story goes… a motorist on a lone country road had a flat; he stopped and opened the trunk to get his spare, but found no Jack.  In dismay, he looked around on this lonely countryside, and saw a light in a farmhouse on the hill, he waited to see if there would be a passing car to get help, but no traffic came by. So, he started to trek up the hillside.

While hiking to the farmhouse he started to wonder, how someone will react at 3 AM in the morning.  He started telling himself that the person would be pretty mad being disturbed at 3 Am, by the time he got to the door, and knocked, a farmer opened the door, and he blurted out ‘Are you going to lend me the *.*.*.X jack or not? The farmer said I beg your pardon?  The motorist said I am sorry, all along walking up here, I told myself that I would be meeting an irate person that I was going to disturb. The farmer said, follow me, he went into his barn, backed out his pickup truck, and said jump in, he drove to his car, changed his tires and them wished him safe journey.

What have we learned from this story? Sometimes we do the same when meeting someone, we ‘Presume’ by pre-judging others, and in most cases our judgment lead to premature

Only Jesus did not pre-judge anyone, as His statement that “ALL” have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. He was not pre-judging us, He knew us as He created us and we went against His Commandments.  Not only the 10 Commandments, as He said if we break one, we have broken them all. But before we were even able to commit a sin, we were born in sin because of Adam.

Action/Coming to our Lord: come to our Lord as His Grace is sufficient

James 4: 6, 10 NKJV: But He gives more grace, Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble: …Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Analyze this… All your Heart, all your Soul, and all your Mind (Heart, Soul and Mind)  “H-S-M” let us treasure these as our H-S-M is the reservoir of what we are and who we are.

Note: your HSM must be in one ‘package’ it is entirety, your heart cannot go without your soul or your mind, and they must be in ‘Sync’.

So listening to Jesus’ words, we can receive His blessings through the 1st and most important of His Commandments.

Luke 6:37 New King James Version (NKJV)

Do Not Judge

37 “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

James 1:19-27 NIV

Listening and Doing

19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20. because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

Let’s say you received news that your rich uncle left you an estate and you are to claim it, and the condition of claiming ownership is to relate one instance in your life when you made contact with him or even told someone else of your rich uncle and his life of helping others.   Too bad… you cannot recall a time when you did any of these that would allow you in meeting the condition of gaining ownership.

The Love of God is in some ways similar, but God’s love offered an unconditional love while we are still onboard the Titanic He gave us a Life-line…  So today we want to alert everyone to stop re-arranging the deck chairs, and follow the instructions pointing to the lifeboats.

Coming to the Lord:

Today as we refresh ourselves in our Lord by his Grace… let us reflect on His Faithfulness and His ‘Great Commandment”… Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the first and great commandment. Matthew 22: 37-38 NKJV

Father in Jesus we acknowledge Your Sovereignty, we praise You and go forward today in Faith knowing that Your Un-Conditional love for us abounds in our lives, and it is through Your Grace that we are redeemed. Lord be with us all today and bless our Visitors us all.  Thank You Lord for Your guidance and we thank You Lord for Your Providence of meeting our needs. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Think on this: Professional built the Titanic, amateurs built the Ark, but it was designed by God.

A Threat is not an actual event, so do not react prematurely…

Being tempted is not a sin, it is a sin when we indulge.

While Christians are saved by Grace, we are factually Saints and Sinners.

Until than day when we are fully Sanctified, there will be no more sin. When you come to Christ you are made a new creation, it will be by Grace and the sole adoration of the Lord that will transform us. Transformation is manifested in our Love for the Lord, as our choice will be to be close to our Redeemer.

Your real ‘Reward’… To Gain Christ is the Utmost… Nothing we have will be worth having, He is our ‘Rewards’.

None of these took with them anything,  as they departed. Empty handed they came, and so did they go.

Industrial icons of yesterday…

A look into our future…

We may be crossing the threshold of the Third-Industrial revolution entering into the fourth revolution.

While is as said that humans would gain a more leisurely lifestyle by shorter workweeks.   The fact is the demand from our hand-held devices and tablets, and even the wired communication in automobiles demand us to be ‘at work’ returning calls, emails, etc.

So, recognizing that we are being virtually enslaved by the demands of this ‘Instant-Gratification’ society, we need to place our priorities in the right place.  The ‘Right-Place’ being in the presence of the Lord. Just like the instant-messaging of the phone, we can be talking with the Lord knowing that He knows our thoughts even before we think of it.

So, crossing into the fourth industrial revolution it could be a revolution of humans against machines that are driven by artificial intelligence (AI).  AI could displace many job functions of humanity.  The headline from WIRED Magazine... Rise of the Machines: The Future has Lots of Robots, Few Jobs for Humans…

THE ROBOTS HAVEN’T just landed in the workplace—they’re expanding skills, moving up the corporate ladder, showing awesome productivity and retention rates, and increasingly shoving aside their human counterparts. One multi-tasker bot, from Momentum Machines, can make (and flip) a gourmet hamburger in 10 seconds and could soon replace an entire McDonalds crew.

A manufacturing device from Universal Robots doesn’t just solder, paint, screw, glue, and grasp—it builds new parts for itself on the fly when they wear out or bust. And just this week, Google won a Patent to start building worker robots with personalities.

As intelligent machines begin their march on labor and become more sophisticated and specialized than first-generation cousins like Roomba or Siri, they have an outspoken champion in their corner: author and entrepreneur Martin Ford. In his new book, Rise of the Robots, he argues that AI (Artificial Intelligence) and robotics will soon overhaul our economy. Credit…WIRED Magazine®

So, reviewing the future the ‘True’ Reward is…  Jesus Himself, as He said…

Stop to think… Looking up and Thanking our Father, that He chose us and you because He has a mission for us all… and before the Creation of the World He Chose Jesus to Redeem us and to be made Holy and Blameless in His Sight… How Gracious is our God, Jesus our Messiah, Thank You Father in Jesus Name… Amen.

His Promise:

We are safe in Christ; Life circumstances cannot separate you from His Love. Romans 8:38-39. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

Caution do not be as deceptive as the serpent. In fact, he was considered ‘wise’, but he was a liar. So, do not be a liar. But be wise. Wise is derived from Wisdom, and as we learned that Solomon was one of the wisest, yet he chose the wrong pathway, and displeased God.

Therefore, being wise but choosing the wrong pathway is not good, and being wise with falsehood as the trait, this is also not good.

Genesis 3:1

The Temptation and Fall of Man ] Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

Genesis 3:2

And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden;

Genesis 3:4

Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.

Genesis 3:13

And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Genesis 3:14

So the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, You arecursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life.

While we may blame it all on the serpent, and as Adam blamed it all on Eve…

Genesis 3:12-14 New King James Version (NKJV)

We see Adam saying to God…

12 Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”

Let us all be real here… We are all given Free-Will, and we are all responsible for our own actions, so Adam as the earliest being was already ‘Passing the buck’ and deferring the blame on his wife.

Today, as we go about the day’s undertaking in each of our lives; let us weigh the use of the wisdom received, and apply it to the first and foremost command of the Lord…

Matthew 22:

The Scribes: Which Is the First Commandment of All?

34 But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”

37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Matthew 6:33 In Context

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We wrote about seeing a Dove standing by another dove that was ran-over by a car, and the dove would not leave.

Dove is a bird that is often used as a symbol of love in marriage. No wonder many wedding invitations, greeting cards that use this pigeon as the main symbol. Apparently behind the use of this pigeon symbol is not without reason.

In addition, pigeons are birds that are faithful to their partners. Unlike some animals or birds that alternate couples to breed, pigeons are birds that are faithful to their partner. Pigeon pairs are usually one for the rest of his life. That is the reason why pigeons are often used as a symbol of loyalty in relationships.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Come to our Lord Jesus as He is the same Yesterday, today and tomorrow, Jesus is the Truth the way and He is Forever.  He holds the Future; all others will end in plight.

Love conquers all… Spread the Love and Joy of our Lord Jesus

The Love of God… It’s Greater than all, He not only Created us, but Redeemed us and has prepared a place for those that know Him

Text: Mark 11:24

24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

It is not by eloquence, form or what we say in Prayers that our Lord will hear our prayers, He said just come as you are… therefore, just have a talk with Jesus, bring everything to our Lord, Thanks Him and give Him first place in our lives.

When writing a letter, we start by addressing the person, then the opening sentence is usually a form of salutation, and then followed by the narrative of what we want to present.  Usually in prayers I want to restate whom I am in touch with by addressing our Lord Jesus, and making my prayers a purposeful dialogue with my Lord, I acknowledge that He is Sovereign and He is Eternal, why? in all our efforts of coming to our Lord, the evil one is always present, as this is the time the forces of darkness want to derail our thought.

When we communicate by phone and sometimes there is a long silence by the listening party, we sometimes will ask, are you there?  But our Lord is Omniscient, and He is God Supreme, and millions are praying simultaneously, but His Holy Spirit receives us and interacts with us. This is far above multi-tasking.

Even before we say our thoughts, our Lord is already aware of what we are ‘thinking’

His Promise:

John 14:2-3  (NKJV)
2. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
John 14:1-3 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

John 14:1-3 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

But, notice, in Jesus’ statement there was a caveat (Warning) the word ‘IF “this is a major preface that applies to each of us, Jesus was saying If we qualify, and He meant, IF we were saved by His Redemption, which he later provided on the Cross, then He would go and prepare a place for each of us that accepted His Redemption. He was telling us that only those that knew Him would be with Him.

This is not an automatic gift, it must be received by each of us by coming to Him personally and acknowledging that you are a sinner and needed His Redemption, and by His Blood of Atonement, you will receive His SEAL that is a Down Payment on our Soul by His Blood and we are now written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. What is the Lamb’s Book? Because Jesus is the Lamb of God that paid it all by His Sacrifice for our Sin; this was prophesied in Isaiah 53 written 700 years before Jesus was born of a Virgin.

His Faithfulness:

We are safe in Christ; Life circumstances cannot separate you from His Love. Romans 8:38-39  38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NIV

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come; Lord thank You that it is not by eloquence and structure of our prayers that we are heard by You my Lord.   Lord we come as we are and say Lord forgive us for our sins as we forgive other of their trespasses. Lord we Honor You and give You first place in our lives, and we thank You Lord for  Your Saving Grace, as Your Grace is sufficient  for us because You Paid-it-All.

Lord, today we seek Your divine Blessings and Guidance to each of our visitors that the Good News will bear fruit in abundance for Your Glory. We pray in Your Majestic Name Lord Jesus, to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

God’s Grace abounds, get your share, it’s free and it cannot be bought...

Hebrews 4:16 In Context

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

We all know about the Chicken and the egg…

Which came first?

An American startup has developed a yeast-based protein to target the growing demand for plant-based egg substitutes

US-based Clara Foods wants you to have your cake and eat it too – without cracking a single egg. The startup uses yeast and sugar to create a plant-based protein that mimics the DNA in eggs. (The man-formulated egg will not have a shell, It’s still not the real thing)

While we continue to produce food through Cellular process, it is like the story of what we wrote about… Man said to God, “ I can improve the specie, I can make it resistant to pest, produce larger volumes”… So, God said, “start with your own seeds, your own dirt, your own water and air”.

Today there are Cell-grown meat, plant-based proteins and now eggs without chicken. While this is a potential growth industry, the cost of a pound of Lab-grown meat is $363 per Lb. On the religious front, it should be noted that Hindu do not consume eggs, as they say it is killing a chicken.  God made the eggs for consumption as a regular egg is un-fertilized and is not yet a living thing.

God is right, Jesus said… without Him we can do nothing…

John 15:5 In Context

“I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Commentary:  The devil wants us to think that the ‘best-things in life are free’. The real meaning should be… the ‘best-things in life are ‘just-things’.  Our Lord offers His exclusive ‘Best’ as we in Christ can say ‘The Best is yet to come’ and it is not a thing, it is ‘Seeing our Lord as He is” Jesus described His Kingdom as ‘Paradise’ and this is because He is the Radiance in His Kingdom.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: What problems have you experienced when you failed to wait for God to fulfill a promise or wait upon His direction?

This should be our approach… Philippians 4:6 New International Version (NIV)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

We can ask our Lord to ‘Break the bondage of Sin’ but if, I am not trying to rebuke the temptation in His name then this is futile, therefore I must have Faith and believe that He will grant the Favor because it is for His Glory, His providence to me equipping me is for his mission.

Mark 12:26

But concerning the dead, that they rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the burning bush passage, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? Mark 12:25-27 (in Context) Mark 12 (Whole Chapter)

1 John 2:1 New King James Version (NKJV)

2 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord we thank You for Your Divine Grace and Your Redemption. Lord as we claim Victory in You Lord, we are assured that all things work together for good to those who love You Lord. Lord let us be among those who are called according to Your purpose.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant Your favors; Lord be with us as we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.
