MORNING:

Topic:  The Lord is the Master of ‘Just-in-time’ He is not late in coming, He is coming on His time

Our God works in Quantum Yield or greater so great that our mind cannot comprehend the state of Physic that our Creator applied to ‘Super-Naturally’ created the Universe.

TEXT:   Romans 8: 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Commentary:

Theologians debated the time that God took in creating the Universe… The Bible said a Day is like a thousand years to God, so are we saying that Genesis description of how God Created the Heavens and the Earth in six days, to be 6,000 years.  Quantum Mechanics and the law of Physics are talking 10,000 times faster than light, does this mean that in reality the 1,000 years according to our 24-hour clock when deduced by the theory of 10,000 times the day was in fact a unit of One (1) meaning that actually God’s creation was 1x6 days as we know a day to be Morning to Evening. Our God used Quantum Physics or a greater power that we haven’t yet thought about which shows our finite mind versus the Infinite power of God.

The theory of Teleportation is something physicists are saying that moving from point ‘A’ to point “B” in an instantaneous moment may be a possibility.  So our infinite mind is intrigued by this theory.  Somewhat like the men that stated to build the ‘Tower of Babel’ to reach heaven.  Somehow we are still in the ‘Quantum-Mystery’ Mode, as we are still talking of taking the theory to the Thesis.

Looking back at primitive man thinking they could use Bricks with Tar as the mortar to build a stairway to heaven, today man is doing the same in our modern time thinking of how we may be ‘Teleported’ to another time zone?

Focus:

Jesus said... “I am not of this world” and He was ‘Teleported’ back to the Father in Heaven.  Is the Bible giving us the clues to the future?  NASA failed to launch an 11 Lb. Satellite to counter Russia’s Sputnick-1.  The NASA Scientists found the answers in the Holy Bible, and successfully launch Explorer and went on to conquer the Moon.  Albert Einstein said… God does not throw dice.

What do we want to conquer?  Jesus already made us Conquerors, and we are already ‘chosen’ and are Heirs to a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, not made by human hands. Being Heirs with our Lord Jesus who is God Incarnated (Remember no one has ever seen God) will we possess the ability to understand the rules that govern the atoms? And Quantum Mechanics? We may never understand it, but He will allow us to one day be ‘Teleported’ to Him. He already used it, He created the Universe from nothing.

Many of the Physicists that are developing Quantum Mechanics say that it is still a theory to teleport the ‘Particles’ and it could misfire… Our God has already made and operates a Teleport, this is described when the Bible said…” To be absent from the Body but be with the Lord”.

Scientists says that there is still a gaping hole in Quantum Physics, (The word ‘Mystery’ is routinely used by many researchers) The top Physicists can all agree that there is a missing link that is still a mystery.  Let’s tell them that the Missing-Link is God!

Man’s quest to achieve Quantum-Physic and taking the theory of Faster than light to achieve a new dimension is not a theory, as the Good News is; God already provided this to each and every one of us.

EVENING:

TEXT:   Romans 6:13-14 New International Version (NIV)

13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

We must remember the ‘Silent-years’ the 400 years when the Old Testament ended and the event of Jesus’ Birth starting in Matthew written 2,016 years ago, and 33 years after the Year 00 Jesus performed many miracles and Ascended into heaven. Were the actions of our Lord Jesus performed by Quantum Mechanics? Certainly His Ascension was a mode of transportation that we have yet to apply. But this mode of transportation is used every day when a Believer is received by our Lord Jesus in a twinkling of an Eye.

Conclusion: …  So we end this brief exploration of God’s Power and the limited knowledge of man and our quest to achieve what is already divinely set in place by our Lord. Just think on this… God said “Abel still speaks even though he is dead” this means; that to God, death is not the end and therefore we can believe the following scripture:

Hebrews 11-1-3 New International Version (NIV)

Faith in Action

11 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.

3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

His Faithfulness: Romans 8:1 [Free from Indwelling Sin]

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1-3 (in Context) Romans 8 (Click here to read the whole Chapter)

Prayers: Heavenly Father, in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus we Praise You today knowing that You have said...” No one comes to the Father unless through Your” Lord we thank You for this privilege that one day we too shall use that ‘Passage-way’ that only You Lord Jesus is our ‘Guiding-Light’ that provides that passage-way to You Lord. Lord Your Preeminence we accept and in faith we acknowledge that You were there with the Father before all things, as You said:  "And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began". Lord Jesus we are in awe that we can come into Your Holy presence and that You came to Redeem us. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Grace, we love You Lord Jesus, we adore You and we Praise You and look to that day when we shall see You as You Are Lord Jesus.  Lord today as we go in faith, we thank You for allowing us to reach our many Visitors and we ask Your Divine blessing on us all as we pray that there will be a celebration in heaven over just one who comes to know You Lord.  Be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Gratitude Makes For More Satisfaction:

by editor Baylor University

People who are materialistic are more likely to be depressed and unsatisfied, in part because they find it harder to be grateful for what they have, according to a study by Baylor University researchers.

The study — “Why are materialists less happy? The role of gratitude and need satisfaction in the relationship between materialism and life satisfaction” — appears in the journal Personality and Individual Differences.

“Gratitude is a positive mood. It’s about other people,” said study lead author Jo-Ann Tsang, Ph.D., associate professor of psychology and neuroscience in Baylor’s College of Arts and Sciences. “Previous research that we and others have done finds that people are motivated to help people that help them — and to help others as well. We’re social creatures, and so focusing on others in a positive way is good for our health.”

But materialism tends to be “me-centered.” A material outlook focuses on what one does not have, impairing the ability to be grateful for what one already has, researchers said.

“Our ability to adapt to new situations may help explain why ‘more stuff’ doesn’t make us any happier,” said study co-author, James Roberts, Ph.D., holder of The Ben H. Williams Professorship in Marketing in Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business.

“As we amass more and more possessions, we don’t get any happier we simply raise our reference point,” he said. “That new 2,500-square-foot house becomes the baseline for your desires for an even bigger house. It’s called the Treadmill of Consumption. We continue to purchase more and more stuff but we don’t get any closer to happiness, we simply speed up the treadmill.”

Focus:

  • That Wealth and Pleasure cannot compare to the eternal JOY of knowing God
  • God loves and defends those who believe in Him and follow His Son.

That new car that you bought or was given to you as your first car is now a rusted out forgotten junk… and your latest computer is now a slow piece of equipment that you wish you had a newer one.  All of the things that we treasured are becoming obsolete but God’s Creation is as new as Tomorrow…

Our Majestic Savior who came 2016 years ago is not the ‘Baby-Jesus’ He is the Sovereign King of kings and Lord of lords.

JESUS, the creator of all things, He is the Light of the world…

John 1:1-5. The Eternal Word

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

John 14:15-21. — 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

John 15:9-17 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My Name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another.

Because he chose you and us all, He said He went to prepare a place for each of us, and He will return to gather us so where he is we shall also be…

Topic:  It’s always darkest before the Dawn… but God has a good plan for each of us.

Topic:  There is Murphy’s Law which is really a ‘Loser’s law’ as negative thinking breeds negative outcome.

The Faithfulness of the Lord…  In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:9 NKJV

Commentary:

The so called Murphy’s Law was born at Edwards Air Force Base in 1949 at North Base. Murphy's Law ("If anything can go wrong, it will") It like erasing your bank balance and changing it to “ZERO” or like the song American Pie? Which says… today is the day I will die. Only losers talk like this; maybe the use of negative objectives should say… now that we do not allow the Bible to be read aloud in school, and pray in the name of Jesus, whatever will go wrong is already wronged.

The Good News is that we are Chosen by our Lord… as He said: 1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

1 Peter 2:8-10 (in Context) 1 Peter 2 (Whole Chapter)

We need to know that our Lord never changes, Whom He called before us, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob approximately 3,400 years ago, today He is calling us in the year 2016.

How can we adopt a set of rules that pre-determine the outcome to be negative? how would this guy Murphy react to what Romans 8: 1-9.  New King James Version (NKJV)

Free from Indwelling Sin

8 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Devotionals for Monday March 28th, 2016

MORNING:

Make this a good week because each of us can say…For I know my Redeemer Lives!

Topic:  The Best is Yet to Come…              It is a Covenant made by God because of Jesus

Thoughts for the day: If you have ‘Everything’ but do not have God…you have Nothing!

Text:  John 14 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

14 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

Commentary:  Forgiveness is the cornerstone of God’s love for us… When Peter denied Christ, Peter did this with such drama, he vehemently denied Jesus… he said I never know the man, he even cursed and swore.

But when Jesus was Resurrected, He told the angel to tell Mary… go and tell the disciples and Peter that the Lord went ahead to Galilee and there they shall meet Him… Mark 16: 6 But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”

In studying the Book of Matthew, one of the key theme is that Matthew gave a ‘close-up’ look at Jesus, He wrote focusing of the Lord. Matthew compilation did not include the inclusion of ‘and Peter’ but Mark’s account of the Crucifixion and the Resurrection brought out many details.

The personal message to the disciples and the special mention of ‘Peter’ is of such significance as, Jesus Himself saw Peter’s action of denying Him and even cursing and swearing, yet Jesus after experiencing the agony of torture and physical death, Jesus did not skip a beat, He remembered Peter and his cowardly act. Maybe we could look at Jesus’ action like this… Jesus knew that Peter was ‘just a man’ and we all have that one factor; a trait called ‘Fear’ Jesus knew that Peter loved Him but he feared death, and one could only assume that at the trial of Jesus, Peter remembered the saying of Jesus, that the Son of many will be betrayed, killed and in three-days rise from the dead. But as we said…Peter is just like us all… mere mortals and not able to comprehend the Divine Resurrection as this was not yet realized.

Even James the half-brother of Jesus did not believe in the Resurrection until Christ rose from the dead and appeared to them all. So the many stories that the disciples stole the Body of Christ is so far from the truth, because as we read, the disciples were a group of men that were law-abiding, timid and relied solely on Jesus.  The ‘great-seal’ placed by the Romans if broken the one that did this would be put to death, and secondly the disciples never really understood the Resurrection, this is proven as they themselves when told by Mary that the Lord has Risen they probably said… what are these women saying? Maybe they are in severe mourning and would believe anything.

When all was said and done, Jesus appeared to them all, and He came physically and not as a ‘spirit’ why? When Jesus said do you have any meat? I am hungry, they gave him a piece of boiled fish and He ate it.

Yes, we worship a Living God, Jesus Emanuel… God with us! Today we can go to our Lord Jesus who ascended to the throne of righteousness and He intercedes for us all. The Word of Christ is true and all of what Jesus said were fulfilled and there are still a few yet to be fulfilled… He said we shall see the ‘Son-of-Man coming in the clouds’ Jesus the Son of God will return, as He said…I go to build a place for you and if I go (for you) I will return and take you there, because where I am you will be also…

Luke 17: 22-37 (NASB – New American Standard Bible)

Second Coming Foretold

22 And He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. 23 They will say to you, ‘Look there! Look here!’ Do not go away, and do not run after them24 For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day. 25 But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26 And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; 29 but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed. 31 On that day, the one who is on the housetop and whose goods are in the house must not go down to take them out; and likewise the one who is in the field must not turn back. 32 Remember Lot’s wife. 33 Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. 34 I tell you, on that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left. 35 There will be two women grinding at the same place; one will be taken and the other will be left. 36 [Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left.”] 37 And answering they *said to Him, “Where, Lord?” And He said to them, “Where the body is, there also the vultures will be gathered.”

Consider this… Being on the sinking Titanic, and you just boarded one of the life-boats (remember there weren’t enough life-boats, because the builder of the Titanic thought this was an ‘un-sinkable ship) Also remember that professional built the Titanic and an ‘Amateur’ a novice built the Ark… but the Ark was designed by God.

So you just board a life-boat and would be counted among the ‘survivors’ Jesus’ told in Luke 17 above that…34 I tell you, on that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left. 35 There will be two women grinding at the same place; one will be taken and the other will be left. 36 [Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left.”]  What is Jesus saying?  Just like when the umpire shouts… ‘you are safe’ running to the home plate.

We believers will be ‘wrapped’ in cotton… The world and its tribulation will not be a part of our lives. What? Aren’t we having enough challenges today?  We have always said’ ‘The Best is Yet to Come’ so on the day of the Rapture which Jesus described in Verse 34 above… one will be taken and the other left, this is when you will be taken away from this world to His Kingdom, you are now on His Life-boat to a destination of splendor.

What did Jesus mean by “Where the body is, there also the vultures will be gathered” this is the period following the ‘Rapture’ as those left behind will be among the vultures.  This is a harsh statement, but we did not make it up… Jesus said this.

EVENING:

Today as we listen to the lyrics of modern day gospel songs, the writers have made our Lord to be the ‘Ideal-God’ of their choice.  Many of the contemporary music are mere infomercial, rather than Praises being sung to our Lord. A Song is a ‘Prayer’ or a ‘Praise’ so when we say ‘My God is a Mighty God’ who are we speaking to? Or should we say…’You my God is Mighty and I praise You Lord’  do we write to the audience or to the Almighty? Are we in church to please men or to please the Lord?  None of what we write here is intended to be judging anyone, but consider them to be commentary to help us ‘refocus’ on whom we speak to… Yes we should speak to the Lord when we address Him, but if we consider the song to be a message or an invitation to come to the Lord, then the ‘third-party’ messages are appropriate… Again, in prayers, many are praying to The Father without ever mentioning Jesus His Son… Christ said; “No one comes to the Father except through Him” often a prayer will conclude with…’In Jesus Name’ I wonder who they were praying to? Isn’t Jesus present in the Prayer? Are we treating Jesus as a ‘by-stander’ and He just happen to be on the sidelines?

Jesus is the One Mediator between man and God the Father, because we are sinners and without the Righteousness of Jesus we cannot come to the Father, why? God will not tolerate sin, only by our Lord Jesus who stands and presents us to His Father with Jesus standing by our side, by His Righteousness then we are allowed to speak to the Father. He is our High-Priest, Jesus said… ‘It is finished’ and the curtain wall was torn revealing Him allowing us to boldly come to Him as He is our Redeemer.

Conclusion:   John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:5-7 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Acts 17:30-31 31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14  14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

Hebrews 7:16, 23-28  25 Therefore he is able to save completely[a] those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them

1 Peter 1:3-5 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you,

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come… Lord today we thank you for Your Grace and Your Unconditional love. Lord we thank you for our Visitors and we Praise You and give you first-place in our lives. Lord bless us all as we go in go in faith knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us. Lord we pray in Your Name Jesus Messiah, to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday March 26th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:    Just imagine the disciples despair without their Messiah? He said mourning will be Joy

For those who have experienced losing a close friend, a parent or a spouse, the emptiness and the separation is mind-bending. Especially for the eleven remaining disciples who Jesus told of His death and His Resurrection…

Matthew 20:17-19New King James Version (NKJV)

Jesus a Third Time Predicts His Death and Resurrection

17 Now Jesus, going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them, 18 “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, 19 and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.”

The verse above refers to twelve disciples as Judas was still with them. On the day after the eventful day at Calvary I can imagine their feeling of a monumental loss.  But their mourning was turned to Joy as Jesus appeared to them all after His Triumphant Resurrection; and we too can share that Joy knowing that our Redeemer Lises!

Today we will reflect on what was said of Christ…

A man who was completely innocent, offered himself as a sacrifice for the good of others, including his enemies, and became the ransom of the world. It was a perfect act. Mahatma Gandhi.

God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, 'I love you.' Billy Graham.

John 16:19-21New King James Version (NKJV)

19 Now Jesus knew that they desired to ask Him, and He said to them, “Are you inquiring among yourselves about what I said, ‘A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me’?  20 Mostassuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. 21 A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.

Even today we have many scoffers, and for those that know the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior we can Sign Praise today, and not songs of mourning.

1 Corinthians 1:17-19New King James Version (NKJV)

17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.

Christ the Power and Wisdom of God

18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”[a]

To those who are perishing (Not knowing the Savior) the cross is foolishness, but to those of us who are saved the Cross is the Power of God…

God doesn’t move mysteriously, He moves Divinely

EVENING:

Conclusion: Many statements are made saying… ‘Our God is a God of Second Chance’, ‘Chance’ is still a guessing game) We wish to affirm that our Lord is a God of ‘Destiny’ and when we come to Him and know Him, not just knowing of Him; but having a real relationship with Him personally, He will take care of us, as we are now children of the Most High.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Come to the Lord and surrender because…

Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him. - Psalm 115:3

You may wonder how can God know you an individual in a world with 7+ Billion people, how can Jesus know who I am and hear me as billions are praying simultaneously? This is probably the most troublesome question for non-believers and Atheist.  The answer is; God the Creator who said “Let us” create, spoke the world into existence, and just as He and His Son Jesus with His Holy Spirit being there from the beginning of it all, this same power of Creation is able to hear each of us, as the Divinity of God through His Holy Spirit is in each believer; and His Holy Spirit is Omniscient, Omnipresence and Omnipotent.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord the Scriptures said You will do whatever pleases You, Lord we also know that Your Love abounds in our lives and what You do will be Divinely done for our good.  Lord You said You came that we would have live and have it more abundantly, and we Praise you for Your Redemption of saving us by Your Grace. Lord we thank you and look to serve You as we are privileged to bring Your Good News to many. Lord bless our Visitors today and grants us all Your Favors. Lord we commit into Your holy hands the undertaking of this day, and Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus for Yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday March 25th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  How could this be ‘Good-Friday’ a day when Christ was Crucified?

It was not just another ordinary day; it was a special day; the Sun went dark for three hours.

Growing up I often wonder why the day that our Lord was crucified called ‘Good Friday’… If you grew up singing Sunday school chorus like ‘Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so’ then you would know that Jesus was God in One of the Father, and to crucify Him it would be considered a barbaric act committing murder of the Almighty Son of God.

So ‘Good-Friday’ was most confusing to kill someone who loves you and your love for Him…

The ‘Big-Picture’ of why Christ was crucified is not to blame the Jews, nor even Judas, how can we say this? Because the mission of Jesus coming to earth by a Virgin-Birth was a Divine action by God the Father…

Isaiah 53: 4- 5

Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

The above written over 700 years before Christ came affirms that Jesus was destined by God to come and die for us so that we could be redeemed by His Blood.

We are made more than Conquerors by His Love and His Divine Sacrifice.  For those that say...” I did not ask to be born, Jesus Died for you and you may ask, “I did not ask that Jesus die for me”, But He died so that you may accept His Grace and His Redemption.  You may also say why do I need to be redeemed? Unless you came from another plant and are not considered from the linage of Adam then you do not need to be ‘Redeemed’.

You need His Redemption because as Adam sinned so we all are born with that inherent blemish called Sin.  God made a way for us to receive His Pardon by His Grace and by the Blood of Jesus, we receive His Shield that is able to protect you and us on that great Passover day on the Day of the Lord, when Earth will be left bare, destroyed and desolate.

But God in His infinite love for you and us sent Jesus His Son to go to the Cross and by His Blood we are saved through Faith and this is not by anything we do, but it is by His Grace that we are saved.

Ephesians 2:8-9New King James Version (NKJV)

Devotionals for Thursday March 24th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  Jesus arrested, He restrained His ‘Power’ as seen the soldiers all fell as He said “I am He”

It was 1,983 years ago on this day that our Lord Jesus was arrested as He was betrayed by Judas.

Men with their own agenda with intention of killing Jesus, why? It was because Jesus told them the Truth, and the truth ran contrary to their desire to continue the ‘Religious’ practices and what Jesus taught could threatened their ‘Monopoly’ among the Jews.

While men with their own evil intent were not aware that they were in fact carrying out the plans of Christ’s Crucifixion that would reveal the One True Son of God…

But Jesus said…” Father forgive them for they know not what they do”

God uses everyone and He can use us too… Just as He used the Persian King Cyrus in leading the Israelites back from Babylon.  Even Judas Iscariot served the mission of God by betraying Jesus.  Jesus while speaking to the 12 disciples, He said; John 70-71 New King James Version (NKJV)

70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?” 71 He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him, being one of the twelve.

God in His Infinite Power Achieves His great purposes in the world, not only inspite of His enemies, but even through them.  Showing that God will use even the evil one to get His mission accomplished as He turns their evil intent to His cause of good.  Just like those who Crucified Him, as it was necessary for Him to be Crucified and be Raised on the third day in Triumph over death.

Focus: John 18: 4-4 NKJV

The Power of the Almighty is seen here… as they came to arrest Jesus, we see His Power by just His answer; “I AM HE”

Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, “Whom are you seeking?” They answered Him, “Jesus of Nazareth.”

Jesus said to them, “I am He.” And Judas, who betrayed Him, also stood with them. Now when He said to them, “I am He,” they drew back and fell to the ground.

Jesus restrains His Power…

Jesus who willingly went to the cross for us took our sins to the cross and by His Blood we are saved as His Blood is a deposit to Redeem us.

By His Blood we are sealed…

Devotionals for Wednesday March 23rd, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: Your triumph is by Jesus who made us all ‘More than Conquerors’, so why worry?

God created us with ‘Free-Will’

You may say I did not ask to be born… aren’t you happy to be alive?  History reveals the future, and what is the future for each of us? Who made an impact of your life, if you had a choice which famous person would you like to be like?

One could choose from the biblical time to be like Joseph, Moses, David or best yet to emulate Jesus.  We are all would not choose the Pre-Crucifixion Jesus, but we would prefer to be the Risen Christ.

Guess what, He died in our place so we did not have to go to the cross. And through his Redemption we are made whole and as Joint-Heirs.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

As we spread the Word of our Lord, His Fragrance will also surround us... If you had a choice of who to represent, assuming the choice was a Winner versus an unknown that could be a loser in the end, the obvious choice would be to go with the winner... The following words are what described our Lord Jesus when we choose HIM:

  • Victory
  • Triumph
  • Sovereignty
  • Joint-Heir
  • Divine Providence
  • Goodness & Righteousness

Remember our Lord also gave a Sound-Mind with Power. Now all these goodness is wrapped up in one tidy package which Jesus called... Faith.

Devotionals for Tuesday March 22nd, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: Can anyone imagine an appointment with death? Jesus did but it was a ‘New Beginning’

Jesus did but His death was a ‘New-Beginning’ by which He Redeemed us. The Prince of Prophets Isaiah prophesied the death and resurrection of Jesus as the Lamb of God…

Jesus who willingly went to the cross for us took our sins to the cross and by His Blood we are saved as His Blood is a deposit to Redeem us.

Luke 23:44-46 New King James Version (NKJV)

Jesus Dies on the Cross

44 Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45 Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. 46 And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ Having said this, He breathed His last.

Ephesians 2:13

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

God in His infinite power of Light & Love, He did reveal His love for us in the Divine Gift of His Son.  In Jesus Christ God came to us in the fullness of His Grace.  He came that we might receive His pardon by His Atonement for our sins, and save us from everlasting destruction.  One might say, how do we have the authority of making this statement of Everlasting Destruction?  Because we are simply repeating the Word of God, as He said we are Created in His Likeness, and He also said that it is appointed unto man to die and after that there is a Judgment… God is never wrong, and these two statements affirmed that we will live forever.

The Love of God found its fullest expression in the Cross, where the Lord Jesus bore the judgment for our sins, meaning that he stood in our place, and by His Crucifixion, He paid It All, and by His Blood of Atonement, we are able to receive His SEAL of Salvation.

But our Lord Jesus who was already Rich, became poor so that He could bear our sins, He had nothing to gain but to Redeem us because He LOVED us.  God in His Infinite Knowledge made this possible through Jesus, and the ‘Sacrifice’ with Jesus on the Cross was the only way for us to escape eternal damnation, remember we really never die, as we are created in the Likeness of God, and God do not die… This is why it is said it is appointed unto man once to ‘die’ but after this there is the judgment.  What is this saying? After our physical death we will still be around to face His Judgment, but those in Christ are Saved by His Blood and we will not face Judgment as stated in…

Romans 8 New King James Version (NKJV)

Free from Indwelling Sin

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,

Come to Christ, now is the accepted time…

Pray... Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I believe and accept that You died for my sins, and by Your Blood that was shed at Calvary, I am Saved by Your Grace. Lord Jesus let Your Holy Spirit come into my heart and change me and by Your Divine Resurrection You Are The Sovereign God, I receive You Lord Jesus as my Savior and Lord, I accept Your Priceless Gift of Salvation and trusting You Lord Jesus, and know that it is only by Your Grace that I am saved, I pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus as my Redeemer... Amen.

Devotionals for Monday March 21st, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: As we start this week let us remind ourselves that Jesus said…” It is Finished” why?

At that moment we were released from Law to Grace, Yet His Laws are meant to be kept as it is given that we know the difference of good and evil.  But God in His infinite powers through Jesus made it possible for sinners to be redeemed by His Grace.

We can never be good enough to be saved, we can never be by our own ‘righteousness’ come into His Kingdom.  Why because God will not tolerate sinners… does this mean that we are doomed?  No, it is by Grace that we are saved and not of anything we do.

TEXT:                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)8
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

If Heaven had anyone that got there on their own, then this would be no different from where we are today, why? That person would be bragging how he accomplished his journey and how well he did.  So our God has made a place where there will be no hierarchy or super-Christians that can look down on us, only our Lord Jesus who sits of the Throne of Righteousness, and Jesus Himself walked with His disciples and said, He was their ‘Friend’.

Commentary: Forgiveness is difficult
Everyone say forgiveness is a good idea until they have something to forgive and to have the strength to forgive. There two important things that benefit one when he or she forgive others:

These are: 1: We remove from our mind the anger that we have against the that person and we no longer carry any grudge or thoughts that are only affect yourself, so when we forgive and forget, we are relieved and casting aside all burdens associated with this person.

2. We are abiding to the teaching of our Lord Jesus as taught in His Prayer

Matthew 6: 12 forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.

The source of forgiveness is from our Lord through faith, so we must increase our faith

  • Faith is one of the most enigmatic intangible action, but it is the key to Power from our Lord
  • Faith, Hope, Trust, & Grace are not commonly used word in Legal documents, these are aligned to the Heavenly realms
  •  Forgiveness is only real when it is rendered with sincerity
  • Attitude is what makes up sincerity, forgiveness without repentance is false,
  • Love & Forgiveness is the cornerstone of faith
  • Faith in our Lord is the source of our Power from Him
  • The power of our Supreme God who spoke the world into Existence can change anything in our lives
  • Just ask Jesus to change the abominable things in our lives

1 We must make a decision
2. I must understand the need & urgency to give forgiveness before He will accept me.
3. You cannot come to Christ unless we have forgiven all
4. You have to uproot the barrier to truly forgive others
5. Forgiveness is paying a debt of someone that incurred a debt
6. Forgiveness is to forgive & to forget

The gospel is the Grace of our Lord and his Power

  • Mercy is of Grace
  • Jesus acted as a servant to us when he was a King
  • God is not obliged to forgive us it is by his Love that he extended His Grace
  • All sins are all sin, one sin makes us a sinner, but we must know that willful sinning is persecuting Christ again and those that willfully sin may suffer His wrath as he will give you over to a Reprobate mind and treat you as Hopeless case of mocking Him.
  • God will not be mocked.
  • The Grace from Jesus is undeserved and we cannot earn it
  • Grace is what Jesus paid for by his Blood for us
  • Faith is the power from our God and in His son Jesus we have redemption by his Grace that we are saved and not of ourselves

Devotionals for Sunday March 20th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: The reconciliation by way of the Cross as Jesus Paid It All

Jesus said…” It is Finished!” At that moment there were earthquakes, and the Curtail wall to the inner-sanctum was torn into two, revealing the most sacred place in a temple or church.  A place where the High=Priest would enter once per year.

The Inner-Sanctum a private or secret place to which few other people are admitted. Jesus declared that no longer do we have to wait for the annual event when the High-Priest would seek intercession for forgiveness of sins.

Focus: John 18: 4-4 NKJV

The Power of the Almighty is seen here… as they came to arrest Jesus, we see His Power by just His answer; “I AM HE”

Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, “Whom are you seeking?”

They answered Him, “Jesus of Nazareth.”

Jesus said to them, “I am He.” And Judas, who betrayed Him, also stood with them. Now when He said to them, “I am He,” they drew back and fell to the ground.

Jesus who willingly went to the cross for us, He took our sins to the cross and by His Blood we are saved as His Blood is a deposit to Redeem us.

Devotionals for Saturday March 19th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: The Cross offends because it is too simple for man to realize God’s Triumph over death…

Many may say how can one die to save others?  The answer is not the Death of Christ; it is the Blood of the Savior.

Just as the ‘Blood’ of the Lamb that was provided to mark the door-posts of the Israelites during the Passover of the ‘angel-of-death’ in Egypt.  The Blood of Jesus our Redeemer will preserve those who have accepted Him for that coming great and final Passover.

In a world of complacency and the events reported on the news-channels one would wonder…. Is the Lord thinking of the world? Is he going to return as he said? This Easter will be Resurrection Morning 1983, why is that so and not 2016? Because it has been 1983 years since Christ was Crucified, Died and Rose from death… and He ascended to the Father.

For many the events in the Bible can be perplexing, but nothing with God is impossible, and Jesus who came 2016 years ago was there with the Father on Day-One. Jesus was there by the Right-hand of the Father when Stephen looked up and said “Jesus receive my Spirit”, and Jesus who had the power to squash those stoning Stephen, but instead Jesus welcomed Stephen home into the Kingdom.

Remember we serve a Living God and as Jesus said…” I am not of this world” … One would wonder what is the World of Jesus like, He described it as ‘Paradise’.

Paradise is described in the dictionary… as a place of Bliss, Joy and Splendor, and this depicts the Garden of Eden…

God did not destroy the Garden He only ‘barred the entry’ that man could not enter. Why? God will not tolerate Sin… so only those who are Born-Again will have access.  Christ came to Redeem us and by His ‘Redemption’ those who know Him and accepted His Grace in Faith are all new creation meaning that you are ‘Born-Again’ in to His Kingdom.

Focus:

Today by His Grace and by the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus and by His Divine Resurrection, we can Trust in His Assurance that he came to Redeem us, and again we need to be reminded that we Need His Redemption as ‘We are all Sinners” and the most important thing of all we are created in His Likeness, and as such; we will live forever.  This is the reason why we all need His Redemption, if Death was the end and we knew no more upon dying, this could be an easy way out, but The Bible said, after our earthly death there is a Judgment and then we will be given what we due.

There is a way and Jesus made it possible, so avoid the eternity that you will not like, He said there is no condemnation in Him…

For those that have not received Jesus and His Blood of Atonement, they will be destined to a place of eternal damnation where it is like dying but never really dead,

For those that have come to Him and accepted His Salvation by Accepting His Redemption and in Faith trust Him and confessed that “I am a Sinner” there will be NO condemnation, and in fact we will not even face the Judgment, as we are already in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Romans 8: 1-4

New International Version (NIV)

Life Through the Spirit

8 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Come to the Savior now, He is ready to accept you now.

Amen.

We thank you for coming to our Lord and Savior, who is our Redeemer.

Prayer:

Father in Jesus we come knowing that our Lord Jesus rose triumphantly and You Lord Jesus sits on the Throne of Righteousness and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved. Your Divine Grace and Your Eminence and Sovereignty was revealed to man over 700 Years before You came to Redeem us. Lord we acknowledge that You were there at the beginning as You were the Light declared by the Father…” Let there be Light”, Lord Jesus today in Faith we seek You and open our hearts to you so that your Holy Spirit will come and by Your Grace we will be Sealed with Your Blood of Atonement, looking to that day Lord when we shall see You as You are.  In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, we pray and give You the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday March 18th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: Burdens are lifted at Calvary…  Because Jesus took that Burden of Sin to the Cross…

Let’s look at what the Father did for us… imagine that you are asked to sacrifice one of your child how would you react to this insane request? God asked Abraham to do this, and he went along with God’s request.

Genesis 22 [Full Chapter]

[ Abraham’s Faith Confirmed] Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. ...

Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off. And Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.”

So Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and the two of them went together.

But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!”

And he said, “Here I am, my son.”

Then he said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”

And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.

Then they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built an altar there and placed the wood in order; and he bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, upon the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.

11 But the Angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!”

So he said, “Here I am.”

12 And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now, I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”

13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”

15 Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, 16 and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—17 blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. 18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” 19 So Abraham returned to his young men, and they rose and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.

The birth of our Savior was not an uneventful event, Joseph and Mary went through many difficulties travelling to Bethlehem where they did not find a place except the stable where the King of kings was laid in a feeding trough… they had to flee because of Herod’s pursuit to kill Jesus.  It’s as God planned including Jesus’ crucifixion so that our Divine Savior could conquer death by His resurrection.

So today we can say “Because He lives I can face tomorrow”.  Just as Peter Marshall telling his wife Catherine;” I will see you in the morning” and as my Jewish Son-in-Law’s dad who said; “I will see you again” because I bought insurance by accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior…

Yes, the Cross is the bridge across that great divide that spans the chasm of hell to God’s Kingdom and Jesus paid it all… Halleluiah…  Praise God for His Priceless gift.  Thank You Lord Jesus for making us joint-heirs with you to your Kingdom.

God did not spare His Son…

Romans 8:32

He who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

In Context | Full Chapter |

As we go towards Good-Friday, we must look at the event at Calvary when men in their quest to crucify Christ were not aware that they we fulfilling the Prophecy, Jesus said…” Father forgive them for they know not what they do”

… God in His Infinite Power Achieves His great purposes in the world, not only inspite of His enemies, but even through them.  Showing that God will use even the evil one to get His mission accomplished as He turns their evil intent to His cause of good.

EVENING:

God’s Assurance…

Christ is Eternal, His Word is forever, His Redemption is for Eternity, and those He saved will never be lost… Romans 8: 38-39… For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present not things to come, not height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord… Rest assured that this is a truthful and faithful saying and we can trust in Jesus for He is on the Throne of Righteousness and he has our back and in Him we have Victory...

Action/Coming to our Lord:

We affirm the following:

  • No one has ever seen God, except the Son (Jesus)
  • Jesus Born of a Virgin is no new kid on the Block, He was before Abraham
  • Jesus-Yeshua was at the beginning of Creation, as God said…” Let there be Light” and there was light
  • Jesus appeared on the first day as the Light. because the Sun was not created until the 4th day

2 Corinthians 6:2

For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. In Context | Full Chapter |

Devotionals for Thursday March 17th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: The Cross is for one condemned of major crimes. But the Crucified Christ Resurrected…

Christ is Eternal, His Word is forever, His Redemption is for Eternity, and those He saved will never be lost…

TEXT: Romans 8: 38-39… For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present not things to come, not height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord… Rest assured that this is a truthful and faithful saying and we can trust in Jesus for He is on the Throne of Righteousness and he has our back and in Him we have Victory...

Focus:  What major crime did Jesus do to have deserved being crucified on the Cross? None

Crime is defined…

an action or omission that constitutes an offense that may be prosecuted by the state and is punishable by law. illegal activities. lawbreaking, delinquency, wrongdoing, criminality, misconduct, illegality, villainy.

Sin is more an action or activity that, although not illegal, is considered to be evil.  Sin is an offense, unlawful act, illegal act, a misdeed, and an abomination to God.

Capital punishment is rendered to all that committed murder, and the consequence is death. An offense against the Lord carries more penalty than the law of the land, because there is a second-death.

A pardon can be granted by the governor of a state or the president of the country. But usually this pardon is granted for a wrongful conviction. Therefore, if the crime was committed it is a rare instance for one to receive a pardon.

Christ commuted our sentence of death, you may say ‘I did not kill anyone’ so why would I be under the sentence of death?  Because God said this…

Genesis 3: 17 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Temptation and Fall of Man

17 Then to Adam He said“Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’:

“Cursed is the ground for your sake;

In toil you shall eat of it

All the days of your life.

18 Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you,

And you shall eat the herb of the field.

19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread

Till you return to the ground,

For out of it you were taken;

For dust you are,

And to dust you shall return.”

God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to Redeem us…

EVENING:

Some of us may say what do I have with all this of Adam and Eve going against God’s commandment? It all inure to us as we are off-springs and inherited the blemish of sin and the decree of death…

But God said we can have His Pardon, which is available through His Son Jesus who came to redeem us.

Isaiah 53: Verses 1, 5,6 & 12:

700+ Years before Christ came, this Prophecy of the Lamb of God that would take away the sins of the world…

  1. Surely He has borne our griefs

And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken,

Smitten by God, and afflicted.

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way;

And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,

And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,

Because He poured out His soul unto death,

And He was numbered with the transgressors,

And He bore the sin of many,

And made intercession for the transgressors.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Amen.

MORNING:

Topic: Why is the cross offensive to many? Because it presents the Grace & Truth of God…

Before we discuss the Cross, let us look at those who Crucified Christ…

It should be known that if God did not want Jesus to be crucified, God would intervene…there are many instances when God did not intervene when His people were being harmed or killed. Why? God did not intervene when John the Baptist was killed, nor did He stop those stoning Stephen, and allowed Stephen to come into the Kingdom.  He allowed Paul to be stoned beaten and left for dead, but God kept Paul alive for His purpose of His ministry of teaching His Salvation.

Those that condemned Christ and those that Crucified Him were also being used by God to fulfill the Prophecy of what Isaiah prophesied 700+ years before Jesus came to earth.  So if God used Judas to fulfill His Plans, then He can also use us too.

God in His Infinite Power Achieves His great purposes in the world, not only inspite of His enemies, but even through them.  Showing that God will use even the evil one to get His mission accomplished as He turns their evil intent to His cause of good.

Jesus was Crucified and Raised on the third day in Triumph over death.

TEXT: Acts 1:3

to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. In Context | Full Chapter

Romans 8:1-3New King James Version (NKJV)

Free from Indwelling Sin

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,

EVENING: Action/Coming to our Lord:

Today we look at a world that is so separated by man’s greed and exploitation, looking back at the day of Pentecost; Acts 2: Verse 8, 9 & 10 there was a gathering of Jews, Iranian, Arabs from Libya, Cyprus and other regions; will we came together on the day of the Lord?  Syria (Antioch) is known to have been the birth place of the Church of Christianity in the city of Antioch. (Now part of Turkey) As we see a divided world of Moslems, Jews, Christians and other beliefs of Buddhism and others, we have a world that has drifted apart from God with their own agenda to dominate their regions and to expand their religion on a global basis. Notice: the word used is “Religion” Religion is not Salvation, only Jesus Christ represents Salvation as Jesus is the only one that Died for our Sins. No one else died for others, except Jesus who made the Sacrifice to Redeem us from Sin.

In Heaven there will be no Moslem, Buddhists, Catholics, Presbyterians, Baptists or Pentecostals. Maybe we should add…Mormons, Adventist, and Jehovah Witnesses.  Only ‘Born-Again’ Followers of Christ (Christians) will be there.

The Good news is: You can come to Jesus and be assured that you will be counted among the gathering in His Kingdom.

John 14:5-7New King James Version (NKJV)

Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

The Father Revealed

“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him

Prayer: Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus as He Paid It All… Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions and where You are we will be. Lord let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God, to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday March 15th, 2016

MORNING:
Topic: What is your burden today? Do not carry it… leave it at the cross and receive God’s Grace…

A burden to many in the old days were the Idols that they carried around.  Many of the idols were wooden images, heavy and had to be propped up to stand upright.  These were around during the days of Jacob, and even today many religious groups have their own little statutes.

Some business establishments that you may visit have a little shrine somewhere in the corner of their store, or even hotels. These would be related to the Buddhist or Hindu religions.  In some instances, there are Crosses or an image of Christ Crucifixion.

Jesus our Messiah holds all things together but on the Day of the Lord… the events in 2 Peter 3: 10 above will occur.

Let us come to our Lord and receive His assurance…God’s Everlasting Love

  • If God is for us, who can be against us?
  • He who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
  • Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
  • Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
  • Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
  • We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
  • For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Conclusion:

  • Jesus promises a great reward to those who seek God First.
  • The focus of our lives reveals the source of our righteousness
  • Jesus challenges religious hypocrisy
  • Jesus warns against self-righteousness
  • Jesus questions our anxiety When you do your giving in public you will get the rewards of men, but not of God.  Our alms giving in secret will be rewarded by God when you do this in private... The Core Reward is God Himself and He is whom we should seek, Jesus gave us His Prayer... The Lord's Prayer

Prayer (Luke 11) So He said to them, “When you pray, say:

Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”

Lord Jesus we thank You for providing this prayer and we thank You for being our Mediator knowing that You Lord Jesus is on the Throne of Righteousness.  Lord we thank You for opening the doors and allowing us to bring Your Good News to our Visitors. Lord thank You for each Visitors and grant to each one Your Divine Blessing and Your Providence. We seek Your Holy Spirit to be with us as we commit all to you as the Author and Finisher of our Faith. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore for Yours is the Kingdom.  Amen

Devotionals for Monday March 14th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: The Cross was made for Roman criminals… it was designed for a long painful death.

Peace DoveThe Dove is the symbol of Peace and the Cross is more than a symbol it is the ‘Bridge’ that through Jesus we can come to the Father.  Yet the world is at war against the Cross, to be against Christ is to deny the Cross. Because the Crucifixion of Christ took our sins to the Cross.

Focus:  Jesus Emmanuel (God with us) took our place on that cross at Calvary.  But we being on the cross would be futile, as like the thief that did not repent he went to a place of separation from God.  Why is separation from God a place of suffering?

If we say we are without sin, we are making Jesus to be a liar… Because He said ‘All have sinned’ and being sinners we fall short of His Glory.  The alternative to His Glory is an eternal damnation.

He came to save us, and this is like making a choice to be on the life-boat to safety, but if we refuse to board the boat, then going down with the sinking ship will mean death.  But the death that Jesus is saving us from is the 2nd death.  Because the Bible said… It is appointed unto to man to die than after that the Judgment.

So if we will be around for the judgment then we really never die. So choose where you will spend eternity as, eternity is real.

Why do we make these harsh statement, because it is factual that Christ came to save sinners like you and us, and His grace is extended as he is giving each of us time to join Him in His Kingdom.

Romans 8 New King James Version (NKJV)

Free from Indwelling Sin

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, [a] who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

God’s precious Gift…

John 3 16 a Bible verse that we first learned in Sundays school, this tells the whole story of God and His love for us and Jesus’ Redemption

John 3:16-17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Romans 8: 31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Conclusion: Our calls to our Lord should be made known to Him. Knowing that our Lord knows what we have need of before we ask, but He does want us to make our request known to Him….

Philippians 4: 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4: 4-9 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Think of Excellence

4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. 9 The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Let us focus on the following principles...

One: That our Lord is the same and HE never changes, His message is the same, “You must be born again” …. John 3: 7 as He said…You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ (These are the Words of Jesus)

Two: That when we come to the Cross and receives Jesus, we need to know that it is by HIS GRACE that we are saved… Ephesians 2: 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—… The Key word here is FAITH, and the 2nd is the Gift of God…

Three: To accept Jesus...First we have to come to Jesus and in Faith

Amen.

We wish to thank you for accepting Jesus. Jesus our Sovereign God will guide you. And we would like to invite you to consider enrolling in a Bible Study Group, go to the LINK Page and select www.bsfinternational.org and find a BSF group and enroll to be a member.

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Redeemer we come knowing You our Lord Jesus sits on the Throne of Righteousness and by His Grace we can come into Your Holy presence. Father we thank You for our Visitors and the privilege of being made Joint-Heir with You our Lord, and by Your Grace Lord Jesus we are all children of God through You Lord Jesus. Thank You Lord for coming and redeemed us by Your Blood at Calvary. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Think on this today:

Why do we have challenges in our daily lives? Is there a force that likes to impede our progress? Remember the closer you get to the Lord the harder the devil works to cause you to stumble, because he knows that you are loved by The Lord and he wants to take you away. This is the work of evil, and we must recognize this and walk in the Light, and the Light is Jesus our Lord and Savior. Jesus said My Peace I give... and the Peace is not like what man give...

Devotionals for Sunday March 13th, 2016

MORNING:
Topic: Giving Thanks:       Remember to Thank the Lord…

TEXT: Luke 17:15-17 15 Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice, 16 and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Samaritan. 17 Then Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine—where are they?

Focus: Who are the Samaritans? The Samaritans were the ‘Mixed-race’ during the Babylonian period of Israel’s captivity to Babylon. While they were most hated at the time during the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar II

Jesus broke the barriers when He was at the well…

John 4:9-11 New King James Version (NKJV)

Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.

10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

11 The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water?

13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

15 The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.”

16 Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.”

17 The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.”

Jesus said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’ 18 for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly.”

19 The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.”

21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

25 The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.”

26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.

The Whitened Harvest

27 And at this point His disciples came, and they marveled that He talked with a woman; yet no one said, “What do You seek?” or, “Why are You talking with her?”

28 The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, 29 “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” 30 Then they went out of the city and came to Him.

31 In the meantime His disciples urged Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.”

32 But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.”

33 Therefore the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?”

34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. 35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! 36 And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. 37 For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’ 38 I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.”

The Savior of the World

39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all that I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. 41 And many more believed because of His own word.

42 Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Jesus spoke of another Samaritan known as the Good-Samaritan…

Luke 10: The Parable of the Good Samaritan

25 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?

27 So he answered and said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’] and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’

28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”

29 But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

30 Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side.

33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 On the next day, when he departed] he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ 36 So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?”

37 And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.”

Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

Conclusion

To accept Jesus...First we have to come to Jesus and in Faith

Pray... Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I believe and accept that You died for my sins, and by Your Blood that was shed at Calvary, I am Saved by Your Grace. Devotionals for Saturday March 12th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: Assurance: Timothy 3:13 Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus.

Focus: Born to reproduce…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQ_dVYTjLb0

The video Born to Reproduce is about the early days of the Navigators and the founder’s Dawson Trotman’s dedication to the Lord. The 83-year-old ministry is now a global outreach.

Navigators organization is the living proof of the Power of Prayer…

Principles: The Bible describes the attributes of God’s servants:  Live by the Spirit - Love our Lord – Serve Others

Commentary:

Serving HIM by LOVE and OBEY His Commandments, to SERVE HIM and bring others to HIM, by REJOICING in HIS Words, to PROCLAIM the Salvation of His Redemption, to Serve Him WHOLEHEARTEDLY, and come to HIM with HUMILITY.

We are writing about serving our Lord while serving others. For many of us in our present circumstances, we face many challenges, some may have lost a loved one, some may be facing financial needs, family matters, and relationships, children growing up in a society filled with many distractions. The negativism of the news and even issues in churches and facing personal challenges affecting our walk with the Lord, are the mountains that we face daily.

So you may ask how does this topic of ‘Live by the Spirit, Love our Lord, Serve others’ be relevant while one is facing a mountain of issues, as recited above? Life is to live the moment by knowing that our Lord loves us, and that we were known to Him before we were born, He knows us by name, He has a plan for each of us, He offers His care and above all He offers His Priceless Gift of Salvation.

Some may say it is easy for us to just adopt the “Place it all at the Cross” “Cast your burdens on God”, and ‘Leave it up to Him’ but these approaches have not yielded any answer for me… if this is your attitude, you have really not truly applied any of these principles, why? It is live writing a request to a charitable foundation by simply saying, I need a million dollars because I can use it to do something, you need to write a request to these funding organizations with a detailed plan and explain how you intend to achieve your mission.

With God it is really not like this, but in some ways there is a need to make your request known to the Lord, but with thanksgiving, give Him thanks that when your favor is granted you will achieve your goals and you are thanking Him for the Goals, not the money. So if the goal is not worthy of His favor, the request will not be granted.  Why? He said why you do not receive His favor; it is because you ask amiss, meaning your intentions are not good, you plan to use what He will provide for things that are abominable to Him. Therefore, you are ignored.

Come to our Lord with Faith and with the resolve that what you seek will be for good things, the good things are not necessarily to run a charity and care for 1,000 homeless individuals, ‘Goodness’ in the eyes of the Lord is to live by His precepts of knowing He is God, and that Jesus died for you, and that He loves you and just the first two Commandments will allow you to adhere to the other 8 commandments. First he said Love Him, Secondly, Love your Neighbors like yourself.  So when we can live by these two key factors, all other things will fall into line.

You may say this is too simple, Simple? Just try living by these and see. So when your request is granted you will have an outlook of living for Him and helping other, rather than taking the money to buy a new Porsche to show off on your neighbors, you are able to continuously receive His Favors to perpetually live for Him and to help many. Living for Him does not say that you cannot have that shiny new Porsche but you will not place any ‘Pride’ of ownership as the Porsche will be just a means of transportation while you are going around living for Him and delivering His Love to others.

Serving my Lord as defined:

Galatians 5: 13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Joshua 22:5        Love and OBEY His Commandments

Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God and walk in all His ways and keep His commandments and hold fast to Him and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

Romans 12:11   TO SERVE HIM and Bring others to HIM,

11 not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

Psalm 2:11          BY REJOICING IN HIS WORD,

11 Worship the Lord with reverence And rejoice with trembling.

Romans 15:17    TO PROCLAIM THE SALVATION OF HIS REDEMPTION,

17 Therefore in Christ Jesus I have found reason for boasting in things pertaining to God.

2 Chronicles 19:9             TO SERVE HIM WHOLE HEARTEDLY

Then he charged them saying, “Thus you shall do in the fear of the Lord, faithfully and wholeheartedly.

EVENING:

Philippians 2: 3-8            COME TO HIM WITH HUMILITY

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

His Promise:

I go to prepare a place for you, John 14:3
If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.
John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

John 8:24
Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

His Faithfulness:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

That where I am there will you be also, so come to our Lord today and be assured that He will prepare a place for you.

Conclusion:

In Philippians 2: 3-8 above that clearly stated the Example of Christ, how He was God (Verse 6) He was taking the form of a Bond-Servant, and how He humbled Himself even to the point of Death on the cross.

Just think The King of kings, Lord of lords and God Supreme chose to die in our place.  Only by His Grace could His Divine Crucifixion and Triumphant Resurrection Paid-It-All for us. “He is the Great I AM”

Prayer:

Father in Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, we come and seek Your Divine Blessings today and we thank You for Your Saving Grace.  Lord Your Unconditional Love for us we acknowledge knowing that You created it all for us and gave us humans dominion over all things, but man tarnished your Creation, and Lord this Creation we address is man himself. Lord we thank you for removing that ‘Tarnish’ by Your Blood of Atonement. And by Your Redemption we are no longer a ‘Pawn” to the evil one, as You Have Redeemed us and given us Your Grace and made us Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom, Lord let this message ring through to us all and for our Visitors to receive your Peace and Your Favors for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Messiah, our Redeemer and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Philippians 4: 4-9

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

To accept Jesus...First we have to come to Jesus and in Faith

Pray... Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I believe and accept that You died for my sins, and by Your Blood that was shed at Calvary, I am Saved by Your Grace. Devotionals for Thursday March 10th, 2016

MORNING:
Topic: Victory:    Be prepared and be armed, test the spirit. Call on Jesus because in His name the evil one will flee…

1 Peter 5:8  Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. In Context | Full Chapter |

As we move closer to Resurrection Day March 27th, we thank our Heavenly Father for His Sacrifice of His Son…Jesus our Redeemer. Lord Jesus Messiah, You said…” It is Finished” and at that moment the Temple Curtain was torn revealing You as our Eternal High Priest. Lord Jesus as we bring this message of Your Triumphant Resurrection we are privileged to know that because of You be can come Boldly to You as You intercede for and presents us to The Father.

John 3:16-17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

Focus: The Good News is…  Jesus’ Triumphant Resurrection to Life-Everlasting

To our Audience and those visiting for the first time, we welcome you and thank you all for coming here today.  Let’s recognize that you are here not by accident and there is a purpose for us bringing God’s Word and a purpose for you to be here at this moment.

In today’s busy world of our lives facing a constant battle, we all need the Grace of our Lord.  None of us are immune to the temptation of the evil one.  Who is our enemy? You may say…I do not have any enemy, I like everyone and I get along with almost everyone.  Adam & Eve did not have any enemy; they were in the most serene place that God created for mankind. But the devil intervened as from that moment they broke God’s commandment of…, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

Genesis 3New International Version (NIV)

The Fall

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

Because of the event in the Garden of Eden, we inherited the blemish of Sin… because of this God sent us His Son Jesus, who is Yeshua who was and is with the Father from the beginning of it all. And because of His Blood shed for us as are redeemed and made worthy by His Grace.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Conclusion: Our calls to our Lord should be made known to Him… Even though our Lord knows what we have need of before we ask, but He does want us to make our request known to Him….

Philippians 4: 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

When we come to the Cross and receives Jesus, we need to know that it is by HIS GRACE that we are saved… Ephesians 2: 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—… The Key word here is FAITH, and the 2nd is the Gift of God…

To accept Jesus...First we have to come to Jesus and in Faith

Pray... Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I believe and accept that You died for my sins, and by Your Blood that was shed at Calvary, I am Saved by Your Grace. Amen.

We thank you for coming to our Lord and Savior, who is our Redeemer.

We wish to thank you for accepting Jesus. Jesus our Sovereign God will guide you. And we would like to invite you to consider enrolling in a Bible Study Group, go to the LINK Page and select www.bsfinternational.org and find a BSF group and enroll to be a member.

Devotionals for Wednesday March 9th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: Be prepared to deal with the tempter. Repel the tempter first and the temptation will dissipate.

Focus: The doomsday clock, and the countdown, the back pack versus the parachute…

TEXT   The Good News for today are: “The battle is not yours, but God’s. … Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.”

Hearing the Good News and rejecting God’s invitation will turn into ‘Bad’ News.  Why? To deny Christ, He said if you do, He will deny you before His Father.  One may say why do I need Christ? God is a merciful God, and He said He loves me… To deny Christ you are making Jesus to be a Liar, because He said no one comes to the Father unless through Him.

Going without Jesus is like jumping out of an airplane with a backpack and not a parachute. (A humorous story… A lawyer, a doctor, a little boy and a priest were all out on a small plane for an afternoon flight when the plane developed engine trouble. In spite of the pilot's best efforts, the plane started to go down. Finally, the pilot yelled out to his passengers that they'd better jump, grab a parachute and bail out. Unfortunately, that left only three remaining parachutes. Grabbing one, the doctor said, "I am a doctor and I save lives, so I must live," and he jumped. The lawyer then grabbed a parachute and said, "I am the smartest man in the world. I definitely deserve to live." Then he jumped. Looking at the young boy, the priest said, "Son, I have been fortunate to have lived a long and full life. You are young and have your whole life ahead of you. Take the last parachute and live in peace. Handing the parachute back to the priest, the little boy said, "Don't worry, Father. The smartest man in the world just jumped out with my backpack!"

The countdown of the so called ‘doomsday clock’ is based on the adversities of ‘climate-change’? Not really…  We are experiencing a cold-winter that is no different from the one in the last decade and in fact colder.  So the ‘Global-Warming alarm that is driving the Doomsday clock could be operating on a flawed assumption.  There are claims that Global Warming may be a hoax… The motive: $22 billion per yearTo be clear that’s $22 billion of taxpayers’ money. the amount that our government pays to stop the “global warming” epidemic. That comes out to $41,856 every minute. Hopefully the smartest man in the world that jumped with the backpack is not on the team of the ‘smartest’ scientist promoting the Global warming agenda.

Text: “Do not be terrified. … The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you” (Deuteronomy 1:29-31).

“All this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47).

Devotional:

Philippians 4: 6 (The Amplified New Testament)

Verse 6: Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition (a defined request) with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God.

Notice the key words are:

  • Do not fret
  • Every circumstance
  • By Prayer & Petition
  • With Thanksgiving
  • Continue your request to God

Give thanks to our Faithful Lord and Savior as He provides all our needs… as stated in:

Philippians 4:19 New International Version (NIV)

19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord

Our Lord’s Grace and His Kindness and Graciousness Are His gifts to those that serve and place Him first.

Live by the principle of… Spiritual maturity is developed by holding unto a FAITH that is FIRMLY ANCHORED IN CHRIST; and knowing that we are never on our own because Jesus is our High Priest.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Things to know that in the realms of reality, right now is what counts; not yesterday, nor tomorrow, for we know… “Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Conclusion:

Is anyone facing the need for His Supplication? Money, Loneliness, Family’s faith, Concerns for our future & seeking a closer walk with the Lord? All the answers lie in Jesus our Redeemer, as He knows what we have need of; all we have to do is ‘ASK’ in HIS Name…

John 16: 24 New International Version (NIV)

24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

His Faithfulness

Jesus said in Faith ASK, and Ask in His Name with Thanksgiving, believing you will be receiving your petition…

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Father in Your Holy Trinity, Lord we Praise You and give You our all as we are privileged to serve You Lord. Devotionals for Tuesday March 8th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  Ask + Seek & Knock…  Suggested reading Matthew Chapter 7: 7-12

TEXT: Matthew 7:7-12New International Version (NIV)

Ask, Seek, Knock

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Focus: The Good News is…  The Lord is Sovereign, He is Eternal and He cares for each of us… Think on the things He has done for you, look at the many times that you were saved from a disaster or something that would have harmed you, but He protected you and kept you till this day.

Look at the opportunity you have today, and a day that can make a whole life changing difference in each of our lives.

Revelation 1:8

8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

1] God is ultimately in Charge… 2] His Plan will prevail… 3] Those in Christ will be Victorious… We already know the end, Jesus wins

Action/Coming to our Lord: Matthew 6:33-34 NewInternational Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

The ‘Key’ Statement above is…   Seek Him and His Righteousness ‘First’, leave it All to Him and do not worry.

EVENING:

Rejoice with Joy today knowing that the future is bright, because He Jesus is the Bright Morning Star, He is the Beginning and the End, and His ending is the beginning of what we refer to as; ‘The Best is yet to come’

Jesus told the thief on the cross next to Him… 43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43 New International Version (NIV)

Principle: Our Redeemer lives…  Rejoice for He chose us.  Have Victory in Christ Jesus He is Faithful forever.

Philippians 4: 4-9 Think of Excellence

4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. Devotionals for Monday March 7th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: Threat = Fear.      Action: Look up and speak in the name of The Lord...Suggested reading 1 Samuel Chapter 17

Focus: The Good News is…  John 3 16 a Bible verse that we first learned in Sundays school, this tells the whole story of God and His love for us and Jesus’ Redemption

John 3:16-17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

The bible said we are to ‘Test’ the spirit…

1 John 4 [Full Chapter]

On Denying the Incarnation] Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. ...

Have you ever been approached by a religious group that denies the Holy Trinity? also that Christ is just a man?... this is the right time to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus….

Some ‘religious’ groups live their belief that they can live a perfect life, or that they must live a life that will make them eligible to the Lord’s Kingdom. Not to judge anyone but if this was so, then Christ would have died in vain.

God created us as ‘Free-thinkers’ giving us the ability to freely choose, why? Because God did not want the inhabitants of earth to be ‘slaves’ but we all became slaves to ‘sin’.  Some religious groups also think that when you die your soul dies.  One would have to ask, if this was so why do they want to live a ‘perfect’ life as they will end up returning to dust?

It is stated in the Bible that ‘it is appointed unto man once to die, then after that the judgment’. Logically, if after ‘death’ you will be ‘judged’ then those with the belief that death is the end, the day of The Lord will be a true day of know that our Redeemer Jesus is King of kings, Lord of lords and God in the Holy Trinity of Father Son and Holy Spirit.

Hebrews 9:26-28 New International Version (NIV)

26 Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.

27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

So wait upon the Lord… as Jesus said. John 14:2-4 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.”

The ‘Key’ Statement above is…  If” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. We all know that Jesus went, but He was specifically addressing each of us, as He said “IF” by this He meant that while He was going, ‘If’ your name was in the Lamb’s book of life, then He would be preparing a place for you.

Jesus said that we are ‘Joint-Heirs’ with Him in His Kingdom, but this is not by default nor is everyone automatically qualified…

He said this to Nicodemus: You must be Born-Again

John 3:6-8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

His Faithful promise:

Romans 8:16-18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

Titus 3:7

so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. In Context | Full Chapter |

Hebrews 6:17

In the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath, In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

As we start this week let’s give thanks for another week of opportunities. Just think that we can use this week to be a blessing to others.  When we look at life as a grand Easter-Egg hunt we can enjoy every step of the way, why? Because we know that somewhere out there is that basket of eggs, and we may be closing in on the catch; because our Lord has already planned all steps in our lives… His plan for us is already laid, all we have to do is in Faith Trust Him.   No Due Diligence needed here, because His Grace is given to us. Remember Grace is ‘Undeserved’ and it is by His Grace that we can have what Jesus offered…A Life and more Abundantly endowed by our Lord. We are His, as He purchased us at a price, and He lives in us.

EVENING:

Rejoice with Joy today knowing that the future is bright, because He Jesus is the Bright Morning Star, He is the Beginning and the End, and His ending is the beginning of what we refer to as; ‘The Best is yet to come’

Devotionals for Sunday March 6th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: Before the Throne of God… Yes, we are always before Him because He is Omniscient, and Omnipresent.

Focus: The Good News is… The birth of Jesus, His Crucifixion and His Triumphant Resurrection to Life-Everlasting.

Luke 2:10 And as the Angels declared…

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. Luke 2:9-11 (in Context) Luke 2 (Whole Chapter)

This announcement made 2016 years ago is still breaking-news to many… why? Because so many have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  So the question asked today, if Jesus was to return today what would you tell Him about the ‘Talent’ He gave you, did you put it to good use? And what would you say to someone that said… lead me to Jesus Christ. (Are you ready to lead?)

Is our ‘calling-out’ to our Lord a call for Grace or a call for wealth?

Mark 10:47-48 King James Version (KJV)

47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.

48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.

Philippians 4: 4-9

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

One: That our Lord is the same and HE never changes, His message is the same, “You must be born again”….

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we thank You for this Privilege of bringing Your Good News and Lord bless our Visitors and be with us as we go in Faith. Lord let Your providence be upon us all as we give You thanks and in You we have Victory, we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… amen.

MORNING:

Topic: His perfect peace versus the perfect-storm…

Experiencing a Category-5 Hurricane could be called living through a disaster. Imagine the relief after the storm, but in the midst of such a killer-storm such experience will draw us near to God… even an atheist would be looking for some kind of relief while he or she is wondering what’s next.  For the believers they would be praying and experiencing an inner-calm knowing that the Lord is in Charge.

Yes, the Lord is in charge as we read about Jonah, Peter and the disciple that were caught is rough waters while Jesus was sleep below deck.

TEXT:  Luke 8:24

And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. In Context | Full Chapter

Jonah’s Disobedience:

Jonah fled and boarded a boat that experienced severe storm to the extent the crew members started to think...’why or who may be on board that caused the fury of God’ and they found Jonah and threw him overboard.  For Jonah this was the ‘perfect-storm’ landing in the water and being swallowed by a big fish.  Jonah escaped but he could not hide and God found him and he was diverted to Nineveh where he brought the message of repentance to the people on Nineveh.

Jonah 1: NIV

Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,“Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.” But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.

Commentary:

Peter saw Jesus walking on the water and he asked if he could do the same, and Jesus said… come, but Peter looked away and started to sink, Jesus did reach out and saved him.

The perfect ‘Peace’ from God is available to us… Just as how Jesus reached out a grabbed Peter from sinking.

Moses reasoned with God not to destroy the people…

Exodus 32:  11 Then Moses pleaded with the Lord his God, and said: “Lord, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? 12 Why should the Egyptians speak, and say, ‘He brought them out to harm them, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth’? Turn from Your fierce wrath, and relent from this harm to Your people. 13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your own self, and said to them, ‘I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven; and all this land that I have spoken of I give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.’

14 So the Lord relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people.

No matter what ‘storm’ we have in our lives… The Grace of our Lord will calm the storm and bring you Peace.

Romans 8:28-30 New King James Version (NKJV)

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

God created us as ‘Free-thinkers’ because He trusted us, but we squandered away His Trust.

Can God have regrets? The Bible said yes, He did. But in spite of our disappointment to The Lord, He loved us so much He sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us. Jesus said He was not of this world… the Bible said… For God so loved the ‘world’ and it also warned us against the ‘world’

Coming to The Lord:

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

In Context | Full Chapter

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Our Redeemer Lives! He came that you will have an abundant life and have it ‘more-abundantly’

Praise Him for His Love and His Divine Redemption, Jesus paid-it-all, come and be made a Joint-Heir by His Grace.

EVENING:

Because of His Grace we can look to the coming Easter with optimism regardless of circumstances as Jesus said… He will never leave us nor forsake us.   With His Assurance let us look to the coming week knowing that; Jesus did say… John 14: 19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

Prayer:  Lord be with us today as we come and give You our Praises and Lord You have already overcome any challenges we may face, so Lord Jesus let us move ahead and implement Your Plans for the Expansion of Your Kingdom.  Lord let us lead in Your Holy Name so that others will be led to You Lord Jesus. We dedicate these websites to You for Your Glory and thank You for the many Visitors, bless each and every one as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday March 4, 2016

MORNING

Topic:    The ‘Special’ message to the disciples and ‘To Peter’

Thoughts for the day: If you have ‘Everything’ but do not have God…you have Nothing!

This is a Pre-Easter message that addresses Jesus’ Love, His Omniscient His Grace, His Eternal Holiness, as we Praise a Living Savior who intercedes for us…

Maybe we could look at Jesus’ action like this… Jesus knew that Peter was ‘just a man’ and we all have that one factor; a trait called ‘Fear’ Jesus knew that Peter loved Him but he feared death, and one could only assume that at the trial of Jesus, Peter remembered the saying of Jesus, that the Son of man will be betrayed, killed and in three-days rise from the dead. But as we said…Peter is just like us all… mere mortals and not able to comprehend the Divine Resurrection of Jesus as this was not yet realized.

Luke 17: 22-33 (NASB – New American Standard Bible)

Second Coming Foretold

22 And He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. 23 They will say to you, ‘Look there! Look here!’ Do not go away, and do not run after them. 24 For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day.

33 Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. 34 I tell you, on that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left.

So you just boarded a life-boat and would be counted among the ‘survivors’ Jesus’ told in Luke 17 above that…34 I tell you, on that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left. 35 There will be two women grinding at the same place; one will be taken and the other will be left. 36 [Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left.”]  What is Jesus saying?  Just like when the umpire shouts… ‘you are safe’ running to the home plate.

What did Jesus mean by “Where the body is, there also the vultures will be gathered” this is the period following the ‘Rapture’ as those left behind will be among the vultures.  This is a harsh statement, but we did not make it up… Jesus said this.

EVENING:

Again, in prayers, many are praying to The Father without ever mentioning Jesus His Son… Christ said; “No one comes to the Father except through Him” often a prayer will conclude with…’In Jesus Name’ I wonder who they were praying to?

Devotionals for Thursday March 3rd, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: Commit your ways to Him and He will lead you to Green Pastures and Still waters.

Thoughts for the day:     Self-denial, who or what are you living for?

We were Born to reproduce, this is what God said; “be fruitful and multiply”.

TEXT: Genesis 1:28

Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:27-29 (in Context) Genesis 1 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

Self-preservation is the human instinct, and sometimes it is driven by fear, or lack of faith…

What was Peter thinking when Jesus said come, and he stepped into the water and started to walk, he did make a few steps, but his fear overcame him and he started to sink... then the self-preservation factor came into play, but he needed help so he yelled ‘help me Lord!’

Do you believe the statement of Jesus? … But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6: 33

I you do not believe the above, then you are like the farmer described below…

“Any fear associated with giving to God's kingdom is irrational. It's on par with a farmer who, out of fear of losing his seed, refuses to plant his fields.” ― Andy Stanley, Fields of Gold

So if we do not sow the seeds, then there will be no reproduction, then we will have to yell “Help me Lord!”

Did you know that on board an airplane when there is a decompression, the oxygen masks will deploy, you are told to first put yours on before helping others.  So by not planting the seeds you cannot help others, but in this case you yourself will need help.

So looking at the self-preservation of man and the need to know where to go to, some go to the deck chairs while on the sinking Titanic, some went to the life-boats and some jumped overboard.  But our Lord Jesus said… “If anyone desire to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”

The message here is… First we must forget who we are, and know that He is Pre-Eminent, and by our ‘Own-Cross’ where we nail our worldly-challenges to, and ‘Follow-Him’ then we shall find the Green-Pastures that He promised. Let us review the tranquility of the 23rdPsalm:

The Lord the Shepherd of His People - A Psalm of David.

23 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

EVENING:

Remember He first loved us…

1 John 4:19

We love Him because He first loved us. 1 John 4:18-20 (in Context) 1 John 4 (Whole Chapter)

The Text above said we love Him, because he first loved us… which is like when Jesus said the crowd was seeking him because of the food that they received…

John 6:26

Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. John 6:25-27 (in Context) John 6 (Whole Chapter)

So we see that Jesus knew the heart of everyone, and again we re-visit the Self-preservation of the human instinct, and sometimes it is driven by fear, or lack of faith… but it is also fed by greed.

So if we love Him simply because He first loved us, then are we sincere?  Yes, we can, but let it not be a ‘Love’ founded on what our Lord can do for you, let it be also be anchored by what you may be able to do for our Lord, and this is to know that we are to love our neighbors and we are to spread His Good News to the ends of the earth to bring others to Him for His Glory.

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Remember you are equipped with one of the most-powerful resources, the Love of God and His Divine Salvation, so share this with others.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity we come thanking you and giving You our Praises for in You we have Victory. Lord we bring You our burdens which are many for our Brothers and Sisters, our Government leaders, our Pastors and those in foreign land that are oppressed and persecuted Lord. You have promised Your Divine protection as their battle will be won because You will never leave us nor forsake us. Lord let Your servants be equipped as in faith they proceed knowing that You are the Author and Finisher of their Faith. Lord bless our Visitors and grant them Your Favors. Devotionals for Wednesday March 2nd, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: He will find you among the 8 Billion people… He knows exactly where you are.

Focus Romans 8: 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Listen up… The Text above said whom He predestined He also called, and when called He Justifies and He will bless you so that you may glorify Him.

The Glory belongs to our Lord, and while we give Him the Glory His blessings also fall upon us.

In life many ‘social-climbers’ improve their status by associating with others of an upper-class… In the realms of Christ, He offered Himself so that we can be associated with Him and He freely gives you His Divine Grace.

In life Grace is not found among men, there are given titles such as…’Your Grace’ usually these titles are given to royalty, Archbishops and Popes.  In Christ we are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

TEXT: Romans 3:23-25 New King James Version (NKJV)

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His Forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed.

Commentary:

Romans 8:28-30 New King James Version (NKJV)

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Coming to The Lord:

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

His Faithfulness:

We are assured in Psalm 56:11 In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

The Bible spoke of ‘Being absent from the Body and be with the Lord”

Prayer: Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we come to thank You for Your Grace, Your Love and Your Redemption. Lord, we know that unless You build it, it shall not last. Lord we thank you for being the Solid Rock on which we stand. Lord bless this mission and let it be a blessing for many, as we dedicate this to You for Your Glory.  Lord let this endeavor be fruitful and we thank You Lord for the Visitors and we ask Your Divine Blessing on each one. In Your precious name we pray Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday March 1sth, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: Do not make your prayer time a ‘wish-list’ meeting, Give the Lord your acknowledgement of what he did for you.

Focus: Coming to the Lord is not ‘going-shopping’… It is a Divine meeting that we are given the privilege of being in His Holy Presence. Therefore, just as you would meet the president of a country, the first thing you may want to say to him could… “Mr. President it is an honor and a pleasure to meet you and to tell you how much I appreciate what you are doing. (However, if he is a tyrant and a dictator you probably would not meet him) For purposes of our discussion, let’s assume he is well-deserving of being met… then the salutation and accolades would apply.

The same or even more so applies to coming to The Father and He is God; and through Jesus who is King of kings and Lord of all…

Make a ‘Thank You Lord’ List before your ‘Please do this for me Lord list’

TEXT: Matthew 6:8 “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

Commentary:  Prayer is the cornerstone of our Faith and you can’t afford to miss the most IMPORTANT Appointment of the Day”

Pray for all our Christian Brothers and Sisters all in Oneness in Christ, especially those that are leading others, just like how Paul asked to be prayed for, we must pray for those that are ambassadors for Christ as the devil is on the prowl, and has done a lot of damage, but our Lord is in charge and the evil one will be banished.

Text:      Ephesians 6:18 New International Version (NIV)

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Praying to the Lord is the Most-Important Meeting we can have in our daily lives…

All other things we do are secondary, as only our Lord Can Divinely prepare us for the day, He can smooth our tasks, inspire us, give us His Blessings, and by His Grace we can cope with all aspects of life’s responsibilities.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him (Jesus) that if we ask anything according to His will. He will hear us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.  From: 1 John 5: 14-15 NKJV

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundant above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.  from Ephesians 3:20 NKJV  When we serve others by spreading the Good News, we are sprinkling the Fragrance of our Lord Jesus, and we also get the sweet smelling fragrance on ourselves… meaning that we are privileged to be a Vessel bearing the sweet smell of our Lord and Redeemer, and while we spread His Fragrance our Lord also blesses us with His Grace…2 Corinthians 2:15  New King James Version (NKJV) 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 4-10 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 3:  20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Action:

Ephesians 3:

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.   20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen

 Coming to our Lord:

Ephesians 6: 1. We face the power of darkness, 2 the spiritual forces of evil, so we must have the Armor of our Lord and 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
