Amazing… Imagine the sun went dark for three hours when Jesus was crucified…

Matthew 27:51

At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split. 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. In Context | Full Chapter |

New International Version (NIV)

We want to present Luke’s version of the Crucifixion, which covered it in more detail as Luke mentioned that the Sun was darken for 3 Hours, and …32 Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed. 33 When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. 34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. (as His coat was seam free woven in one piece) also….  39 One of the criminals who hung their hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”

40 But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”

43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Luke 26 -49

The Crucifixion of Jesus

26 As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus. 27 Many people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him. 28 Jesus turned and said to them, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children. 29 For the time will come when you will say, ‘Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’ 30 Then

“‘they will say to the mountains, “Fall on us!”
and to the hills, “Cover us!”’

31 For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

32 Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed. 33 When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. 34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

35 The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.”

36 The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar 37 and said, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.”

38 There was a written notice above him, which read: this is the king of the Jews.

The Death of Jesus

44 It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, 45 for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.

47 The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, “Surely this was a righteous man.” 48 When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away. 49 But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savor we come… Lord Jesus Messiah, we affirm You as God in One of the Father, we Praise You and thank You for Your Divine Grace. Lord as we look to Resurrection Morning knowing that You our Redeemer lives and all in You Jesus will also by Your Resurrection. Lord Jesus we thank You for our Visitors and ask Your Divine blessing on us all, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday:  March 30th, 2018

Wonder why?   Why is today called ‘Good’, a day when our Lord was crucified? Because He died to save sinners…

Focus: Jesus’ Sacrifice on the Cross for our Sins… Thanks to our Redeemer

Text:  John 19: 28 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. 30When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Commentary: Today is Good Friday…  How could we call this day Good?  A day that our Lord Jesus was arrested, flogged, Mocked and crown with a ‘crown’ of thorn, and they slapped our Lord…

Jesus restrained His power and endured the torture for our sake.   Remember that over 7 centuries before Jesus was born the prophet Isaiah foretold about the Crucifixion of Jesus in Isaiah 53…. Even before Isaiah God told Moses and his people to slaughter a Lamb but not to break any of the bones, and use the Blood to mark their doorposts to be protected from the angel of death, this being the Passover, and Jesus is the Lamb of God, and the scripture said none of His bone would be broken….Our Lord made that ultimate Sacrifice for our sins…. Not only did His Blood wash our sins away, He made us Joint-Heir to His Kingdom.

The Crucifixion was a day that has never been seen again when the Sun went dark at noon for three hours

John 18:28-36   Jesus before Pilate

28 Then the Jewish leaders took Jesus from Caiaphas to the palace of the Roman governor. By now it was early morning, and to avoid ceremonial uncleanness they did not enter the palace, because they wanted to be able to eat the Passover. 29 So Pilate came out to them and asked, “What charges are you bringing against this man?”

30 “If he were not a criminal,” they replied, “we would not have handed him over to you.”

31 Pilate said, “Take him yourselves and judge him by your own law.”

“But we have no right to execute anyone,” they objected. 32 This took place to fulfill what Jesus had said about the kind of death he was going to die.

33 Pilate then went back inside the palace, summoned Jesus and asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”

34 “Is that your own idea,” Jesus asked, “or did others talk to you about me?”

35 “Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied. “Your own people and chief priests handed you over to me. What is it you have done?”

36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

John 19: 16- 42 The Crucifixion of Jesus

So, the soldiers took charge of Jesus. 17 Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). 18 There they crucified him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle.

19 Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20 Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. 21 The chief priests of the Jews protested to Pilate, “Do not write ‘The King of the Jews,’ but that this man claimed to be king of the Jews.”

22 Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”  23 When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.

24 “Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another. “Let’s decide by lot who will get it.”    This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said, “They divided my clothes among them   and cast lots for my garment.”     So, this is what the soldiers did.

25 Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman, here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

The Death of Jesus

28 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. 30When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

31 Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down. 32 The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other. 33 But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. 34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water. 35 The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe. 36 These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken,” 37 and, as another scripture says, “They will look on the one they have pierced.”

The Burial of Jesus

38 Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish leaders. With Pilate’s permission, he came and took the body away. 39 He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds. 40 Taking Jesus’ body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs. 41 At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid. 42 Because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Risen Lord we come.  Lord we affirm today that our Redeemer lives and You Lord Jesus is on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord as You intercede for us we come and Praise You as we look forward to Resurrection Day, a day that You our Lord Rose Triumphantly. Lord we thank You for Your Redemption and by Your Grace we can look to that day when we shall see You as You are.  Lord bless our Visitors as we seek Your Divine Blessings and Your Favors to us all. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Imagine 600+ soldiers falling as Jesus said…” I AM HE”

Jesus Arrested…

Text:  John 18 1-5 (NIV) When he had finished praying, Jesus left with his disciples and crossed the Kidron Valley. On the other side there was a garden, and he and his disciples went into it.

Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples. So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons.

Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, “Who is it you want?”

“Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied.

“I am he,” Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.) When Jesus said, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground.

Commentary:  Our Lord is such a Humble Supreme God, who willingly submitted to these ‘mere mortals’ that thought they were so powerful, factually they had no power over Him. Because Jesus came for One-Reason, to Redeem us by His Blood, We need to know that Blood was a part of the Cleansing and preparation of the High Priest before coming to God. Therefore; Jesus was the sacrifice made just like a Lamb and His Blood was shed for the Atonement of our Sins…

Many of us will say I did not need this, why? Many may not feel that they are sinners, because one may say, “I live a good life, I do not steal, I am faithful and I even attend church or Temple of even a Mosque. And I saw no reason why Jesus had to die for me.  You may recall that God created Adam and Eve, and when they went against God’s command, this was the first sin against God, and all of us are descendants from Adam, no; we did not evolve from a primate, God created Man and Woman, and this is where it all began.

Principle: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 New International Version (NIV)

His Promise / His Faithfulness: John 17: 20-36 Jesus Prays for All Believers

20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

Conclusion: What would you pray for if God said,…”Ask Me what would you like me to do for you now? (Now this request will be answered in the twinkling of an eye) would you ask: (a) to be with Him today> or would you ask (b)  that your earthly needs be met, or would you ask (c)  Him to give you wisdom to reach many for Him? In Verse 24 above, Jesus prayed… “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.  Here we see Jesus wanting those He loves to be with Him.  Sometimes we wonder why God took our loved ones, our selfish desires for personal well-being leaves us with the ‘Void’ but Jesus’ prayer is explicit “I want those you have given me to be with me where I am. Therefore, we are ‘Given’ to Him through His Grace and knowing Jesus’ desire, maybe our request should be (a) “To be with Him today”

Tomorrow we will be reading about His Crucifixion… a day called “Good Friday” as a child this was the most confusing description for this day, as I would say what’s good about this Friday? It is the day that they crucified our Lord… Why is it called ‘Good’ But it is a factual Good-Friday as this is the day that Salvation came to mankind, this is the day that Jesus Paid-It-All….

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.   Lord Jesus today as we reflect on the day at Calvary, the event of the day marks the 2nd most important event in our history, the first was when you Came Lord on that first Christmas day, and the third most important event is Your divine Resurrection, all of these events cannot be repeated as only You our Lord is Divine, Supreme and Eternal. Lord we thank You for Your Grace and Your Divine Redemption, Lord thank you for the many Visitors and bless each and every one as we look to that day when we shall see You Lord Jesus. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You are the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Judas…. The betrayal… I have not met anyone named Judas, parents do not use this name.

The Plot to Betray Jesus, are we also doing this today?

Text:  Matthew 26 (NIV)

The Plot Against Jesus

26 When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples, “As you know, the Passover is two days away—and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.”

Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas, and they to arrest Jesus secretly and kill him.“But not during the festival,” they said, “or there may be a riot among the people.”

Jesus Anointed at Bethany

While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.

When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked. “This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.”

10 Aware of this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 11 The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me. 12 When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.13 Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus

14 Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests 15 and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So, they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver. 16 From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.

This week we are focused on The Betrayal, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection of our Lord.  Why did Jesus suffer the injustice of men?  Why did He not just ascend back to his Father? If He had done so without His Sacrifice at Calvary, we would all be eternally condemned and destined to eternal damnation.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Is Judas the only guilty one? Who betrayed God’s trust first?  Adam & Eve, both were equally guilty, what we found in Genesis, Adam blamed God for giving him the woman, and Eve blames the serpent.  Notice no one said they were sorry…. Judas did threw the 30 pieces of silver away and committed suicide in a fit of remorse and guilt. Today we are just about doing the same when we go against the will of our Lord. What is His will? To love Him with all our heart, and to love our neighbors, even when they are not the most compatible ones.

Our sins are not hidden, why, as descendants from Adam, we all are sinners, and you may say how about those that have never heard the Gospel? Are they still sinners? And if they have never heard the Good News of Christ Redemption on the Cross, will they we condemned to eternal damnation?  Our God is a God of Love and Justice, He will take care of those…

Conclusion: When Jesus returns, He will be seen from the East to the west.  His return will not be to ‘walk among us’ This will be…’The Day of The Lord’ and when He returns Grace will expire, Abraham said to God,, “What if you found 10 good in Sodom, will you save Sodom?, He said… Yes, but there were not 10 but the Angels took LOT and his wife and Lot’s two daughters and then destroyed Sodom, Lot wife went against God’s instruction, not to look back at the city, she did and was turned into a pillar of salt.

On the day of the Lord, Earth will be laid bare, and those in Christ will be caught up in the air and be taken to His Kingdom. We did not make this up, read about this in 2 Peter 3:10

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.  2 Peter 3:9-11  (in Context) 2 Peter 3 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Heavenly Father, In Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus thanks to You for Your Graciousness and we acknowledge that You Paid It All… Lord thank You for the Privilege of knowing that by your Grace we are saved and by Your Blood of Atonement we are cleansed. Lord, Your Grace abides with us as You Intercedes to the Father and until that day Lord when we shall be transformed in a Sanctified place where there will be no more Sin Your Grace and Holy Presence will be forever abiding. Lord thank you for Your Divine Redemption, We Praise You Lord and Lift You up before all, as You said we will never be ashamed in trusting You and all things are possible in Your name Lord, for those that loves You.  Lord thank You for our Visitors as we ask your Blessings on all, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

God created us with ‘Free-Will’

You may say I did not ask to be born… aren’t you happy to be alive?  History reveals the future, and what is the future for each of us? Who made an impact of your life, if you had a choice which famous person would you like to be like?

One could choose from the biblical time to be like Joseph, Moses, David or best yet to emulate Jesus.  We are all would not choose the Pre-Crucifixion Jesus, but we would prefer to be the Risen Christ.

Guess what, He died in our place, so we did not have to go to the cross. And through his Redemption we are made whole and as Joint-Heirs.

We are made more than Conquerors by His Love and His Divine Sacrifice.  For those that say...” I did not asked to be born, Jesus Died for you and you may ask, “I did not asked that Jesus die for me”, But He died so that you may accept His Grace and His Redemption.  You may also say why do I need to be redeemed? Unless you came from another plant and are not considered from the linage of Adam then you do not need to be ‘Redeemed’.

You need His Redemption because as Adam sinned so we all are born with that inherent blemish called Sin. God made a way for us to receive His Pardon by His Grace and by the Blood of Jesus, we receive His Shield that is able to protect you and us on that great Passover day on the Day of the Lord, when Earth will be left bare, destroyed and desolate.

But God in His infinite love for you and us sent Jesus His Son to go to the Cross and by His Blood we are saved through Faith and this is not by anything we do, but it is by His Grace that we are saved.

Ephesians 2:8-9New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Luke 23:44-46 New King James Version (NKJV)

Jesus Dies on the Cross

44 Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45 Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. 46 And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ Having said this, He breathed His last.

Focus: John 18: 4-4 NKJV

The Power of the Almighty is seen here… as they came to arrest Jesus, we see His Power by just His answer; “I AM HE”

Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, “Whom are you seeking?”

They answered Him, “Jesus of Nazareth.”

Jesus said to them, “I am He.” And Judas, who betrayed Him, also stood with them. Now when He said to them, “I am He,” they drew back and fell to the ground.

Jesus who willingly went to the cross for us took our sins to the cross and by His Blood we are saved as His Blood is a deposit to Redeem us.

The reason why Christ came…  He came to save sinners like myself and everyone.

  • We are all sinners, because of One-Man’s sins…
  • Christ came to Redeem us, and by His Blood we are Saved
  • Jesus said, ‘You must be Born-Again’ and He came that we could be and have engrafted us into the Family of Abraham.

As we celebrate Easter a time of Renewal through the Divine Resurrection of Jesus.  We reflect on the prophecy written over 700+ years before Jesus came…

Isaiah 53
 [Full Chapter]

Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. ...

4 Surely, he took up our pain and bore our suffering,

yet we considered him punished by God,

    stricken by him and afflicted.

5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,

    he was crushed for our iniquities;

the punishment that brought us peace was on him,

and by his wounds we are healed.

6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,

    each of us has turned to our own way;

and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed and afflicted,

    yet he did not open his mouth;

he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,

and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,

so, he did not open his mouth.

8 By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away.

Yet who of his generation protested?

For he was cut off from the land of the living;

for the transgression of my people he was punished. [b]

9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,

and with the rich in his death,

though he had done no violence,

nor was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,

and though the Lord makes[c] his life an offering for sin,

he will see his offspring and prolong his days,

and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.

11 After he has suffered,

    he will see the light of life[d] and be satisfied[e];

by his knowledge[f] my righteous servant will justify many,

and he will bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, [g]

and he will divide the spoils with the strong, [h]

because he poured out his life unto death,

and was numbered with the transgressors.

For he bore the sin of many,

and made intercession for the transgressors. (End of Text)

Imagine if the above was describing our future? It would have been better if you and I were not born…

Jesus our Redeemer came and…

He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?” Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”

In Context | Full Chapter |

16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.”

She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).

17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

Spirits do dot eat, Jesus requested food and ate it…. He is our Risen Lord!

Luke 24:49

And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus Appears to the Disciples

36 While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

37 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. 38 He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds?39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. 41 And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish,

43 and he took it and ate it in their presence.

44 He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.”

45 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. 46 He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things.

49 I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”

Recapping the Power and Glory of Jesus ‘The Christ’.

  • When he said “I AM” …  600 Soldiers fell backward
  • When He was Crucified the Sun went dark for 3 hours, not just dark but a darkness you cannot see anything.
  • When Jesus said…” It is Finished” there ware earthquakes, and the Temple Dividing Curtain was split
  • Jesus appeared to many seen by thousands, spent 40 days with His disciples
  • Jesus ‘Ascended’

So, today let’s be patient as His return will be as He said… Remember a day is like a thousand years, yet in time those in Christ will see Him either by going to Him or He returning as He said.

We can share the affirmation of Job… Job 19:25

I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. In Context | Full Chapter |

The mystery of who wrote the Book of Job is still not known.  But it is the oldest Book of the Bible. It is all about Faith in God and the Faithfulness of the Lord, and it is an affirmation that God Restores.

Rest assured that our faith in Christ is not in vain, as you will never be ashamed in trusting Him. So acknowledge Him and he will also acknowledge you in the presence of the Father.

For those that are still waiting for the Messiah, we want to expound that Jesus the Messiah came and He is on the throne of Righteousness.  So, therefore do as He said.

Seek first His Kingdom and His Righteousness…

Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

In Context | Full Chapter

What are the ‘Things; that Jesus referred to?

An Abundant Life, here and forever…

So, when you seek His Kingdom, His Providence will prevail, and His precepts are to reproduce for His Kingdom by telling others of the Good News of His Divine Salvation and His Providence.

Keep on praying, keep on trusting and keep on spreading the ‘Fragrance’ of Christ as you yourself will become immersed in His Fragrance for a Grace filled life.

Thoughts for today… Without ‘Oneness’ in Christ there’s no unity.   ‘A house divided cannot stand’

Today as we gather, let’s leave your pride, and all self-gratification behind, before coming to the Lord, knowing that all things are from Him, by Him and to Him be the Glory…

Coming to our Lord:

To know Christ… Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer:  Prayer: Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus as we come just as we are, Lord we thank you for Your Saving Grace. Lord let this mission of spreading Your Good News be heard and be accepted by many. Lord we give You the Glory and we are privileged to serve You lord for Your Glory. Lord bless our Visitors and grant Your Peace upon us all, as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to you be the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Forward looking… As we face this new week let us share the day with Our Lord, carry over a little of ‘Sunday’ to have the presence of our Lord near us for the whole week… He said he encamps around us as we stand in His presence.

Devotionals for Saturday: March 24, 2018

Jesus came as one of us… fully human, but He was Celestial, and we too are all like Him…

Born as a Baby of a Virgin Birth… This separates the Lord Jesus from all others.  Born fully Human, yet Celestial as Jesus suffered on the cross….

Imagine a King that said…”you are no longer a servant but my friend”

The fiction by Mark Twain… The Prince and the Pauper tells of two boys that switched identities with the Prince growing up as a Pauper and the beggar growing us as the Prince. The time came when the Prince was to be crowned, the real prince showed up, but he was unable to prove that he was the real prince. The Sham-Prince did help him to prove that the ‘Pauper’ was the real Prince as they had switched roles.  The real Prince was restored to the monarchy with the assistance of the sham-Prince, who was later granted a position in the royal household.

Jesus is the real King who said, ‘You are no longer a servant but a Friend’ He is Jesus the King of kings. Jesus came from His place of Splendor, a place He called Paradise. He came to His own and His own did not receive Him.

TEXT: John 1:11

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

The condescension of Christ

“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9

In the garden Jesus could have used his power to call twelve legions of angels to his rescue (Matthew 26:53), but instead he employed it to heal the ear of one of his enemies (Luke 22:51). On the cross he could have used his power to save himself, but instead he continued to employ it to save others—his enemies, including us (Romans 5:10 ).

In the Old Testament, God installed men like Moses, Noah, Joshua, Joseph, Abraham, David and many others. Before the Birth of Christ, God’s interaction were direct through His Divine Spirit and when the Bible makes reference that God walked with Adam, Adam was walking with Yeshua-Jesus who was there from the beginning. As we read in Colossians 1:15-20 NIV

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Jesus is the “LINK” that keeps the circle from being broken… Without Jesus we are being drawn by a chain with a weak link. So where is the weakest link?  All that seeks the Power of God without His Son are approaching The Almighty without His ‘Password” it is like being locked out from your Email files because we do not remember the Password.  But Jesus is more than a Password, He is our Redeemer, and God loved us so much that He gave His Only Son Jesus, so that whoever believes in Him (Jesus) should not die but have everlasting life… John 3:16

We must also know that… There is one God and one Mediator between God and men, The Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for us all… 1 Timothy 2: 5-6

God in His infinite power of Light & Love, He revealed His love for us in the Divine Gift of His Son.  In Jesus Christ God came to us in the fullness of His Grace.  He came that we might receive His pardon by His Atonement for our sins, and save us from everlasting destruction.  One might say, how do we have the authority of making this statement of Everlasting Destruction?  Because we are simply repeating the Word of God, as He said we are Created in His Likeness, and He also said that it is appointed unto man to die and after that there is a Judgment… God is never wrong, and these two statements affirmed that we will live forever.

Give thanks to our Faithful Lord and Savior as He provides all our needs… as stated in: Philippians 4:19  19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus as we reflect on You bearing the Cross, Lord as King of kings Lord we thank You for Your Divine Redemption through Your Triumphant Resurrection and we claim Victory in You Lord Jesus. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all You Providence as we go in faith know that You our Redeemer Lives. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Reflecting on our Lord’s mission to earth… His visit was a mission to prepare all for the future…

How far into the future do you project? It is said that the heart sends a signal to the brains in three+ seconds spurts to remind you of what’s next.  It’s like jogging your memory… Oh, I need to be ready for the meeting, or I am to call my friend, etc.  The future is around the corner, it is the next moment in time.

Jesus said…

John 14:

My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

John 14:3

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Again, we need to analyze Jesus’ statement; He said He was going to prepare a place for?  Here the sentence ends with a question mark; and, in His next statement He said… ‘And if I go ’, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

The key words are: ‘Going’, and ‘If’, Jesus was saying… I am going, and I will prepare a place, but ‘If’ you knew Him then He would be building a place for you too.  The bottom line; He went, and He built, but not necessarily for those who did not know Him.

Getting into His Kingdom is not by default, (it is not an open border) Only to those in the Lamb’s book of life will be allowed.

Romans 4:16

Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. (Because Born Again Gentiles are engrafted into Abraham’s family)

Ephesians 2:5

Made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

Other Translations

Ephesians 2:8

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

God’s Grace came through Jesus Christ, and we are Redeemed by His Blood.  Just like the blood of the lamb marking the Passover, the Blood of Christ is for the great and final Passover, known as the Day of the Lord…

2 Peter 3:10

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

Friends… all of the above are Good-News, because Jesus made a way for us all to be in His Lamb’s Book of Like. Because of His Saving Grace.

"I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."
John 10:9 (as said by Jesus)

Jesus, the great I AM, is the entrance into the true church, and the way of access to God himself. He gives to the man who comes to God by him four choice privileges. (By Charles Spurgeon)

1. He shall be saved. The fugitive manslayer passed the gate of the city of refuge and was safe. Noah entered the door of the ark, and was secure. None can be lost who take Jesus as the door of faith to their souls. Entrance through Jesus into peace is the guarantee of entrance by the same door into heaven. Jesus is the only door, an open door, a wide door, a safe door; and blessed is he who rests all his hope of admission to glory upon the crucified Redeemer.

2. He shall go in. He shall be privileged to go in among the divine family, sharing the children's bread, and participating in all their honors and enjoyments. He shall go in to the chambers of communion, to the banquets of love, to the treasures of the covenant, to the storehouses of the promises. He shall go in unto the King of kings in the power of the Holy Spirit, and the secret of the Lord shall be with him.

3. He shall go out. This blessing is much forgotten. We go out into the world to labor and suffer, but what a mercy to go in the name and power of Jesus! We are called to bear witness to the truth, to cheer the disconsolate, to warn the careless, to win souls, and to glorify God; and as the angel said to Gideon, "Go in this thy might," even thus the Lord would have us proceed as his messengers in his name and strength.

4. He shall find pasture. He who knows Jesus shall never want. Going in and out shall be alike helpful to him: in fellowship with God he shall grow, and in watering others he shall be watered. Having made Jesus his all, he shall find all in Jesus. His soul shall be as a watered garden, and as a well of water whose waters fail not.

What a glorious and permanent place, instead of the perpetual strive it will be eternal Peace and Splendor.

Father we Praise You and by the Righteousness of Jesus our Redeemer, we thank You for Your Divine Grace. Lord Jesus because of Your accomplished mission, we can in faith look to that day when we shall see You as You Are. Lord be with our Visitors and bless us all as we go sharing Your Good News. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…  Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday March 22, 2018

The Lord takes care of all … He can give you unequalled Peace, because He said it.

Are you being taken care of? If so, Praise the Lord… If you feel lonely and in need, have you tried this;

Matthew 6:

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[e]?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

With all the above said to not worry, but… Jesus did say Ask-Seek & Knock.

Matthew 7:7

Ask, Seek, Knock ] “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Matthew 7:8

For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Luke 11:9

“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

In Context | Full Chapter |

It’s easy for someone to say ‘Do not worry’ and to say ‘Just Ask’, but asking is not just a motion or intent to receive, it is built on trust, faith and belief that what you asked for will be received, as James said below…

Another factor of asking and receiving, we need to do a self-evaluation … ‘if I received my request, am I worthy, am I capable of sharing and using my new-found gift granted by the providence of the Lord? For His Glory’

James 4:3 Good News Translation (GNT)

3 And when you ask, you do not receive it, because your motives are bad; you ask for things to use for your own pleasures.

God’s gift that is above all that we can ask for, is His ‘Peace’

John 14:27

“Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid. In Context | Full Chapter |

Who can we depend on?  Which of these?  A) Ourselves, b) our employer, c) our parents, d) the government, or the Providence of our Lord?

Text:  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17 NKJV

Commentary:  Self-reliance is probably the inherent choice of mankind as we were born with a survivalist instinct. Even when a new born baby cries it is crying because of fear and this reflects the need for cuddling.  Our survivalist instinct leads us to excel in learning and a spirit of developing skills that lead us to a form of entrepreneuring or inventing. Or to put it less formal we would say improvising.

The number one answer should be ‘The Providence of God’ and this should be by trusting our Lord, not just for earthly needs but for our future by serving Him to bring others to Him. Why? Because His two greatest commandments are: 1) to have no other God and to…

 Luke 10:27

So, he answered and said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”

The uniqueness of God is even reflected in His Creation, the electron, the hydrogen atoms and the molecules forming the snowflakes make every snowflake unique. No two are alike in the billions ever made in history proven by Quantum physic.

But with 7 Billion people on planet earth, you and us all are unique, but God knows each of us individually.

Prayer: Lord Jesus today as we come in Your Holy Presence we thank You for Your Divine Grace. Lord we go in faith knowing that all things work together for the Good of those who loves You Lord. Lord we affirm our love and adoration and with our Visitors we seek Your Blessings and Your Providence. We thank You lord and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday: March 21, 2018

Something to enjoy… enjoy is to join into Joy. Beyond ‘Happiness’ is what Jesus offered each of us…

Beyond Happiness? What could be better than Happiness?  Eternal Joy.  Joy is mention 242 times in the NIV and 192 times in the New King James Bible. Happiness is mention only 6 times in the NIV.

Joy… defined as: delight, great pleasure, joyfulness, jubilation, triumph, exultation, rejoicing, happiness, gladness, glee, exhilaration, exuberance, elation, euphoria, bliss, ecstasy, rapture;

Luke 10:21

At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. In Context | Full Chapter |

1 Thessalonians 2:19

For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you?

NO condemnation, and in fact we will not even face the Judgment, as we are already in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Romans 8: 1-4

Romans 8

New International Version (NIV)

Life Through the Spirit

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Today by His Grace and by the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus and by His Divine Resurrection, we can Trust in His Assurance that he came to Redeem us, and again we need to be reminded that we Need His Redemption as ‘We are all Sinners” and the most important thing of all we are created in His Likeness, and as such; we will live forever.  This is the reason when we all need His Redemption, if Death was the end and we knew no more upon dying, this could be an easy way out, but The Bible said, after our earthly death there is a Judgment and then we will be given what we are due.

For those that have not received Jesus and His Blood of Atonement, they will be destined to a place of eternal damnation where it is like dying but never really dead, for those that have come to Him and accepted His Salvation by Accepting His Redemption and in Faith trust Him and confessed that “I am a Sinner” there will be no condemnation.

Father in Jesus we come knowing that our Lord Jesus rose triumphantly, and You Lord Jesus sits on the throne of Righteousness and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved. Your Divine Grace and Your Eminence and Sovereignty was revealed to man over 700 Years before You came to Redeem us. Lord we acknowledge that You were there at the beginning as You were the Light declared by the Father…”Let there be Light” , Lord Jesus today in Faith we seek You and open our hearts to you so that your Holy Spirit will come upon us and our Visitor. By Your Grace we will be Sealed with Your Blood of Atonement, looking to that day Lord when we shall see You as You are.  In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, we pray and give You the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen.

What is precious, wealth, health or Peace?  Wealth and health without peace is unbearable…

PEACE…  A state of tranquility that we all desire.  How can we have peace?  The Peace of man is as good as an Ice Cube on a hot pavement.

Only from our Lord can we have an Everlasting Peace. Real Peace by anyone on earth is still limited to a finite time.  So we call this a ‘Superficial’ Peace as it can only last till be face that fateful day. We should we have FAITH in our Lord and accept His Covenant of His Salvation, then we will have Peace here and Peace in a place of Splendor, which will be an Infinite everlasting Peace & Joy, fully sanctified in the presence of our Lord Jesus.

What a privilege we have in Him, as Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and in Faith we can trust HIM.

Faith in Action

11: 1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made from what was visible.

By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.

By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. 11 And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise. 12 And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.

17 By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, 18 even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” 19 Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.

20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.

21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.

22 By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions concerning the burial of his bones.

23 By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.

24 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.

29 By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.

30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days.

Conclusion: Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All… Lord Jesus we thank You for our Visitors and Your Covenant that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Lord, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all, as we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God; to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday: March 19, 2018

The answer should be Yes… Would you recommend your neighbor to visit your church?

We rate many places by **** and five stars give it an excellent rating.

Today’s worship programs are being ‘compromised’ and the opinion of leaders, are to attract a younger generation.

Maybe our pastors should look at themselves as a place of offering:

  1. PEACE

By extending the environment of what the youth are experiencing, using loud contemporary ‘songs; with 7 words and 11 repeated lines, if this is what they experience 6 days of the week, and their life is empty, then why come and get more of the same.  Without the Liturgy of Worship and participation in experiencing the Spirit of the message, there is nothing to gain.

The lack of Liturgy is just another event without meaning.  The ‘Hymns’ when in sync with the Message, then the Praise is complete.

The goal is to promote the ‘Oneness’ in Christ, without this it is pure ritualistic motions.  Noise is not a way of connecting. Meditation on the Word is a way we can connect. We are not promoting individualism, Noise is not Frequency, it is pure dis-harmony.

Harmony is when we can immerse oneself into the worship. So, serving up more of what the youth indulges in is not sending the right message. We do not mean that a worship song cannot have a beat or rhythm, but when the band is acting like how a rock concert should be played, then why come.  It like leaving a noisy fast food place to a fine dining but the environment is the same, and the chef is absent. When the chef comes by your table and say something, then you feel that you are in a place with some leadership. If the pastor is absent at the end of the service, then the experience is more a ritual and not a fellowship.

Tell your pastor if the above profile describes your church.

Prayers is a Divine approach to the Almighty, it is not mailed, FedEx, Faxed or Emailed, but our Brain-waves are comprised of   5 Types of Brain Waves Frequencies: Gamma, Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta.

Human do not hear sounds above 13 kHz). Sounds with frequencies above the range of human hearing are called ultrasound. Sounds with frequencies below the range of human hearing are called infrasound.

  • Typical sounds produced by human speech have frequencies on the order of 100 to 1000 Hz.
  • The peak sensitivity of human hearing is around 4000 Hz.

For the first time, scientists have experimentally demonstrated that sound pulses can travel at velocities faster than the speed of light. This is achieving Quantum Mechanic in practice.

Key note:  We are to add nothing to the Gospel, (No Pre-condition)

Faith & the Holy Spirit are the Keys and our anchor; see Romans 12

Principles:  Any method of Salvation that departs from Faith is the basis for a perversion or it is no Gospel at all.

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus today as you did over 2,000 years ago you read from the pulpit…  Knowing that the Father endowed this to You….
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
    because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19     to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Truly Lord You are the Anointed One, and in You we trust. We go in faith giving You the Glory, To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore.  Amen.

We look forward to a year of providing the Good News, and hope that our postings are inspiraional.

Do this…. Spending ‘Quality-Time’ in the form of giving and receiving, are we doing our share?

Consider this…Jesus knew who His friends were… He is still calling us His friends.

Are you a friend of the Lord? What are the conditions that you place in qualifying a person to be a friend? Friendship is defined as…

“A man is known by the company he keeps” and, “Tell me the company you keep and I’ll

tell you who you are.”

The idiom above does not apply to Jesus as He had Tax-Collectors as His friends.  True friendship is knowing the need of each other, sharing the good times, giving and not receiving.

Loyalty cannot be purchased, because once you stop paying the loyalty ends.  A friend is defined as one that will share the results of a failure and not look to partake in your success but enjoy seeing you in victory.

A dog will bury his most treasured item, a big bone.  Dogs will ‘age’ his bone for a few days then enjoys chopping on it.  So, to be a good friend of a dog, he may consider burying you; not really, as he is considered man’s best friend, and their loyalty goes to extremes.

Job’s friends rebuked him rather than render sympathy they looked down upon Job, but…

Job 42:10 After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. In Context | Full Chapter |

A Stories About Friendship…

One day a lion was sleeping in his den. A mouse was also playing nearby. By chance Ole mouse ran over the lion. This made the lion wake up. The lion caught the mouse. He was ready to kill it.

‘Please do not kill me,’ said the mouse. ‘I am a tiny creature. Please save me.’

The lion felt pity for the mouse. He smiled and let the mouse go.

A few days after the lion was walking in a jungle. He found himself caught in a hunter’s net. He roared and rolled to get out of the net. But he failed.

The mouse heard the roar. It at once ran to the lion and said, ‘Please don’t roar. I’ll on set you free.’

It cut through the net and set the lion free.

Conclusion: Grace brings Freedom through the Holy Spirit – Follow the Spirit

2nd Corinth. 4: 7 * Jars of Clay Our Treasures are in Jars of Clay, and must be exposed to let others see the Gift of The Holy Spirit.

In today’s hustle & bustle it is hard to stop and reflect on the Grace that we have from our Lord.  Grace is defined as ‘UN-Merited’; while we face the challenges of this world, our Lord God in His infinite power sent His Son Jesus to redeem us…. 2 Corinthians 8: 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Redeemer we come in Your Holy presence. we lift You up before all. Thank You Lord for opening the doors to bring visitors to this site each day; Lord we are privileged to be Your messenger and we thank You for our Visitors and Your blessings. Lord Jesus open our minds and grant us wisdom and let our readers grasp the Good News of Your Salvation. Lord as we bring Your message to many let the substance of what we present be from You our Lord. We pray in Your Holy Name and give You the Glory and the Power now and forevermore… Amen.

Amazing… Knowledge Doubling Every 12 Months, soon to be Every 12 Hours ... It is said Knowledge is Power…

Imagine waking up each day with with new knowledge? This is not how it works. You won’t get smarter each morning, but you can access how to be smarter. So those who do not seek to gain knowledge will still be where they were, outdated and lack of knowledge.

Rocket scientists will learn how to make better engines or will know what they should not do.  Thomas Edison did double his knowledge of how to make the light bulb, after finding over 1,000 things that he should not use as the filament. He did not fail 1,000 times, he just determined what did not work. He did finally make the first incandescent bulb. The screw-in light bulbs are known as Edison type.

So, while knowledge will double every 12 hours… you will still have to do the research to gain knowledge. Google® in a flash can answer almost any questions, try asking… when is Jesus Christ returning? The answers are all from independent bloggers and some theologian’s view. The fact is, no one knows, only the Father knows.

Matthew 17:20

Remember our Lord is Omniscient ‘Omniscient’ is defined as; having infinite awareness, understanding, and insight and: possessed of universal or complete knowledge.

Jesus is Supreme, He is God in One of the Father in the Holy Trinity, no one has even seen God, except His Son Jesus… In Jesus we have the assurance of an Eternal Life through His Crucifixion and His Triumphant Resurrection.

The incomparable Christ…

Colossians 1: 13-19

13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His Beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

Principle: Without Jesus there was nothing made, and our Lord Jesus holds it all together.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10: 13 NKJV

We are not ‘forgotten’… God is only giving us the privilege of coming to Him, He loves us, so He is allowing us to ‘know’ Him.

TEXT: 2 Peter 3:9

Focus:  Scoffers will say… for eons I have heard about the return of Jesus, where is he?   As we address this we will reflect on Jesus telling Phillip that he saw him under the fig-tree before he came to meet him. Just as when Jesus saw Phillip on that day, He is seeing us today as His Power and Glory remain the same… Jesus Christ the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever…

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus as we go through the trials and challenges of this world Lord, Lord we look up to You our Sovereign Eternal God, Your strength was covered by Your Humbleness and while You the Most High allowed us to ultimately realize that we can do nothing, and, in all things, we need You Lord. Lord, we give You the Glory and Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Get ready too… Storing up for the winter, did you know Chipmunks start stocking their pantry in the fall?

Many of us are more or less last-minute doers… there’s the hurricane season, and a season for wild fires, flood, mudslides, drought and other extremes of weather. These are some that one can prepare for, but earthquakes, falling meteorites etc., are just unpredictable. The winter snowstorm of 2018 in the northeast still have not been blamed on the ‘global-warming’ declared by many. With this came impassable roads, power outages and of course lack of food if one did not prepare.

We are sure the beavers, the chipmunks and all of God’s creatures were well prepared. The bears hibernate in winter and no wonder why they are so strong. God gave them enough to sustain the winter. Among the hibernators, black bears are good at surviving winter, by hibernating they conserve energy and lower their metabolism.

The writer’s family participated in establishing one of the largest nature conservation zones for black bears, which is now a 2,880 acres wildlife refuge in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. This preserved the annual migration of black bears into a protected zone a project sponsored with the Nature Conservancy organization®.

While God’s creatures did get some help here, they are more adept than us humans in preparing for the season.

What season of life do you have to prepare for? No matter what season, with God’s help you can sustain and emerge like the black bears from a long winter. All because…

Deuteronomy 31:6 Amp Bible

Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you. In Context | Full Chapter |

Yesterday we spoke of leading a life, thriving under God’s Divine providence versus ‘Jogging in place’ while the black bears can hibernate through winter, they must spend most of their life foraging for food. So even these guys cannot jog in place, they are constantly on the move.

All our quest for a tranquil life is good, but as Dawson Trotman the founder of the Navigators® said, we were born to reproduce for our Creator. Which leads to Jesus’ great commission of taking the gospel to the ends of the earth.

We are not saying leave your job and start a street ministry… but through your walk and conduct interacting with others, the opportunity of telling others of the priceless gift available and it’s free. As you spread the fragrance of Christ you also will be filled with his fragrance. Start by sharing our website with many.

Know this… Life is a puzzle… Yes or No? The Mystery of many things cannot be defined, but, Jesus laid it out…

Mystery is mentioned 26 times in the Bible…  Mostly written by Paul and let us define where did Paul obtained the knowledge and how was Paul inspired to write about the Saving Grace of our Lord Jesus.

As Paul wrote the following…

2 Corinthians 12:2

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows.

As we recall the Damascus Road event…

Acts 9:3

As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

In Three days Saul (now known as Paul) commenced his ministry by preaching about Jesus Christ…

Acts 9:27

Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus.

Paul said.. whether it was in the body or out of the body he did not know only God knows… so, we read about Saul speaking of himself in the a third party inference of the experience of being caught up to the third heaven. He was shown things that he said he could not speak about…

2 Corinthians 12: 3-10 (NIV)

And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows— was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell. I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses. Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say, or because of these surpassingly great revelations.

Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Mystery revealed…

1 Corinthians 15:50-52  (NIV)

50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

In our daily life, dealing with the challenges of life, one may wonder…what does Paul’s revelation of the mystery got to do with me as I cope with daily challenges.  What is your daily challenge? Health, finance, relationships, concerns for others or just trying to ‘jog-in-place’?

We were placed here to be more than just ‘jog-in-place’ we are here to thrive and prosper for His Glory….

Paul continued his declaration of the mysteries of Christ…
Romans 11:25

All Israel Will Be Saved ] I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in,

Romans 16:25

Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past.

Here’s why you are not to be contented with just ‘jogging in place’…

We are empowered to thrive in spreading the Gospel and by doing this the Fragrance of the Lord will overflow unto us.
Romans 10:19

Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, “I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.” In Context

Romans 11:11

Ingrafted Branches] Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. In Context

Yes, we are engrafted in to family of Abraham, and this is why Paul said, all Israel will be saved…

Romans 11:25

All Israel Will Be Saved]  I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in,

In Context

Jesus Himself revealed the ‘Secret’ (Mystery) of how we can thrive…

Matthew 6:33

But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior, our Redeemer, our protector, Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Saving Grace, and the revelation to seek You first. Lord we pray for our Visitors and by Your Righteousness we go in faith. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday: March 14,2018

Can you handle success? What is success? Is it wealth, fame or just being known as a kind person?

Success is being able to manage an abundant of wealth, not being arrogant, and knowing that all things are from God, Through Him and to Him be the Glory.

Today we want to take a look at our possessions, our resources.  We look at the world’s economic conditions and wonder why The USA, France, The UK, Spain, Italy and a few other developed nations and wonder why are these so called world-class economies are awash in debt?  Is it because we spend more than what we take in? Yes, then why are we spending more than what we take in? is it because China has beaten us at our own game?

Stewardship is defined in the dictionary as…

tTe action of conducting, supervising, or managing of something; especially: the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care <stewardship of natural resources>

Back to the question at the beginning, we need to stop and know that HE IS GOD... we need to be good stewards, and the key factors are, responsibility, management with care of what we are entrusted with....just like Jesus said in the following teaching:

Matthew 25:22-23

22 “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’

23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

The text from Matthew 25: 22-23 are direct statements made by Jesus himself. Oftentimes, our Lord spoke using graphic illustrations, and Jesus was laying out a metaphor that He used bags of gold, but in the real world today we could say that the bag of gold is in fact the talent that He entrusted us with.

To be able to gain ‘The Bags of Gold” that our Lord referred to, He said in Matthews 6: 33 Matthew 6:33

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

As a custodian of what we receive as the Favor of our Lord, we need to continue to ‘Seek’ Him, and by Seeking Him we will ‘Love’ Him and His Love will overflow to others through us.

As Stewards we are just caretakers (Custodians) until we journey on to Glory in His presence, and this point all earthly possessions that we held are left behind.

Our Lord is not telling us to go and trade Gold, He is saying that we must proclaim the Gospel and bring others to Him, just as He said, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

… Lay up treasures in heaven, treasure are defined by extending the Love of Christ to others and to use that ‘Bag of Gold’ which is His Gospel of Good News of His Resurrection from death to life-everlasting, this Good News that He died for our sins so that we can be saved, and only by His Blood of Atonement, a divine action to Redeem us as His Grace extended to us while we are here right now, this grace expires when we dies or when Jesus returns, at any of these events, should one or the other occur before you have accepted Jesus as your Redeemer you will face the wrath of God…

While our Lord is a loving God full of compassion, yet the scriptures said; ‘Our God is a God of consuming fire’ To accept Jesus pray in faith and acknowledge that He died and paid the penalty of our Sin. Why did He do this? because we were born in Sin, from the sin handed down from Adam.  You see we will die, but our soul will live on forever, and Our Lord’s Grace extended here can Redeem us by coming to Him and asking Him to forgive you of your sins.

Now as a new person in faith remember to use the “Bag of Gold’ that you will gain to bring others to Jesus, this is the explanation of his story, when He will say… ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

1 Timothy 6:7

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

PRAYER: Thank You Father in Jesus we come… Lord we thank You for Your Covenant of Grace and Your eternal Redemption through Your Blood of Atonement. Lord we are in Faith that Your return will occur as on that day many shall be filled with Joy and those that are not in Your book of Life will separated forever. Lord we thank You for the privilege of spreading Your Good News that today is the day of Salvation and that You are willing to receive those wanting to accept Your Priceless Gift and know You Lord as their Redeemer. Lord let our endeavors reach across this world to bring many to You Lord. We thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your blessing on each and every one as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore…Amen.

Is someone helping you today? Or, are you invincible needing no help? We all can use some help…

Yes… you are being help, how? Someone may be praying for you, and The Lord answers prayers.

So, even if you feel invincible and needing no help, guess what? soon or later you will need help.

The Mystery Of Qin Shi Huangdi’s Mausoleum 4

Qin Shi Huang, the founder of the Qin dynasty, is until this day best remembered as the person who gave China a face. His marvelous construction of the Great Wall and the famous Terra cotta Army are both known to everyone in the world. He was one of the most significant Chinese emperors, shaping the country’s history and culture. The people around him, heavily influenced by his great accomplishments started to believe that he was immortal, and he tried to make it come true.

According to legend, in his search for eternal life, Qin Shihuang sent one of his servants to find the secret of immortality. The servant, Xu Fudong set sail eastward with thousands of young boys and girls. They never returned to China, perhaps because they feared punishment for failing the mission. Legend says that they found and populated the island we now know as Japan. Qin Shihuang died at the age of 50 in 210 B.C. He died of a quick and lethal disease and proved to his dedicated followers that he was as mortal as every other human being.

Here is a man that thought he was invincible, he even south immortality. In his quest he indirectly founded Japan.

Qin Huang died at age 50 but he left a legacy as he created a Terra Cotta Army world renown for the life-sized figures of each members of his army. Emperor Qin even in death believed in an afterlife, so much so,  he had Terracotta Army made replicating more than 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses, the majority of which remained buried in the pits nearby Qin Shi Huang's mausoleum. Other terracotta non-military figures were found in other pits, including officials, acrobats, strongmen and musicians.

Only Jesus Rose from the tomb….  Even Jesus the Son of God prayed to His Father for help.  Unlike us mortals, Jesus was fully human going to the Cross, but He rose Triumphantly and was transformed.  So much so, that even Mary did not recognize Him at the Tomb.

So, no one is invincible, and we more than the Son of God do need the help from the Father and it is through Jesus who is our Redeemer, Mediator, Messiah as God in One.  Our Triune God, of Father, Son and Holy Spirit is ready to render to you all His love, His Redemption as we go in Faith trusting Him.

Does God need our Help?   No! But He placed us here for a purpose, what is this purpose?

You are a Chosen Generation….

1 Peter 2:9

Amplified Bible (AMP)

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation; [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

How privileged we are… step out of darkness into His marvelous light!

Just think that we are special… We are of ‘Royalty’ associated with HIS Priesthood, purchased by His Blood of Atonement; He pointed us in the direction to perform His wonderful deeds and display His Virtues and His perfection, all of these belong to our Lord as He has made us Joint-heirs.

As we spend today, either looking back at the week’s activities; and reflecting on what have we accomplished? And what have we done that to help others, or did we add to our wallets resources for the coming days? Or did we secure the means of meeting our financial needs, or our spiritual needs, are we healthier today than last week? Are we just ‘Jogging in place’? or do we have that sense of accomplishment with a week of fulfillment?  All these questions are answered by one single instruction from our Lord…

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Psalm 32:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)

I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord we are privileged to be called a Royal Priesthood by Your Redemption, and only by Your Divine Resurrection we can have Victory in You Lord.  Lord we are privileged and Blessed and we Praise you and give You first place in all our lives. Lord, thank You for the many Visitors coming to hear Your Good News today and Lord bless our Visitors and grants us all Your Favors. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday: March 12, 2018

Know this…. The Lord will never let you be ashamed in trusting him. Trust Him He is Faithful.

Psalm 31:1

 [ A Psalm of David. ]

In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness. In Context | Full Chapter |

Envy not the affluent and their wealth, do not judge, their wealth may be well endowed to those who are good-custodian and stewards.

For meditation: We should never be ashamed to be seen hiding behind Jesus (Mark 8:38 ).

Ephesians 1:4
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

“For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless, I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” 2 Timothy 1:12

An offender had committed a crime for which he must die, but it was in the olden time when churches were considered to be sanctuaries in which criminals might hide themselves and so escape. See the transgressor—he rushes towards the church, the guards pursue him with their drawn swords, all athirst for his blood, they pursue him even to the church door. He rushes up the steps, and just as they are about to overtake him and hew him in pieces on the threshold of the church, out comes the Bishop, and holding up the crucifix he cries, “Back, back! Stain not the precincts of God’s house with blood! Stand back!” and the guards at once respect the emblem and stand back, while the poor fugitive hides himself behind the robes of the priest. It is even so with Christ.

The guilty sinner flies to the cross—flies straight away to Jesus, and though Justice pursues him, Christ lifts up his wounded hands and cries to Justice, “Stand back! Stand back! I shelter this sinner; in the secret place of my tabernacle do I hide him; I will not suffer him to perish, for he puts his trust in me.”

TEXT:  Romans 1:28 [Full Chapter]

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Commentary: These are the key words that we need to understand:

  • God                           : No one has ever seen God, except Jesus,
  • Incarnate                : Jesus is the Incarnate Son, who is God in One of His Holy Trinity
  • Trinity                      : This is the Triune of Father, Son and Holy Spirit
  • Sacrifice                  : Jesus made His Sacrifice to Redeem us by His Atoning Blood
  • Forgiveness          :  No one can forgive ‘Sin’; Sin is an inherent ‘pre-condition’ that we inherited from Adam
  • Grace                       : The Grace of our Lord is what He offered us to be Redeemed
  • Holy Spirit             : The Power of His Holy Spirit will be an In-Dwelling Comforter when we accept Jesus

Cleansed by the Blood is an action of purification done by the High Priest before coming to God.  This is an old tradition done inside what is called the Inner-Sanctum of the Temple.  Jesus said “It-is Finished” and the dividing curtain (Wall) of the Temple was torn revealing Him as our ‘High-Priest’ why? Because His Blood was shed for all, and all that come to Him and accept Him; His Blood becomes His SEAL of Redemption, this is the ‘PAID-IN-FULL” Stamp that He purchased us and we are now aboard with Him and is Heaven bound.

Does this mean that because Jesus died, and His blood was shed for us all, and by His action we are ‘automatically’ saved? NO! The parallel is: If someone comes to the door of your house and offer you a pot of Gold but you did not take it, so this person moves on, what happened? You just lost your opportunity.  While the Priceless Gift of Salvation through Jesus is free, unless you accept it you cannot possesses it.

You cannot earn it, purchase it or work your way to get it. It is only by His Grace that we can receive His gift, and it is only in Faith that you can come to Him. Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, In Context | Full Chapter

There’s Hope in Christ….In Him alone Romans 3:25
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God we come into Your Holy presence. Lord Jesus today we stand at the Cross knowing that You came and Paid-It-All, and that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Devotionals for Sunday:  March 11, 2018

Be aware of…    The goal of presenting the ‘Message’; is your Pastor reaching his audience? If not tell him

Worship is the theme of Sunday’s service… the question is: are you participating in the worship? Today’s contemporary songs are really entertainment, somewhat like a rock concert.   This, I proved last Sunday, when the pastor asked…how do we like the music? They are a new group that was ‘hired’ and he was pleased to hear the ‘new-songs’… The fact is no one in the congregation knew any of the ‘Songs’

So, standing in church listening to repetitive lines and a pounding drummer, with no participation this lacks liturgy, which is defined as; Liturgy is the customary public worship performed by a religious group, according to its beliefs, customs and traditions. As a religious phenomenon, liturgy is a communal response to and participation in, the sacred through activity reflecting praise, thanksgiving, supplication or repentance.

Be set apart, yet be in ‘Oneness’ in Christ as you worship Him with unconditional adoration.

Oneness in Christ is not a ritualistic action, it is a combination of ‘Closeness and acknowledging His Love’, His Providence and through His Grace that we have ‘Oneness’ in Him.

Today is Sunday, and some may say I will skip church today, I have somethings to do and I will stay in ‘Oneness’ in Christ alone today.  This could be considered a selfish approach, because your presence could inspire someone to come to Christ. Maybe your absence would let you lose the opportunity to lead someone to the Lord. Maybe your presence would be part of the corporate worship that inspire that person sitting next to you and even encourage the pastor, or the whole congregation by being presence.

What if 50% of the congregation adopts the same feeling of…’Maybe I will skip church today?’ there would be only half of the congregation that is a discouragement to others and most of all the pastor’s confidence of growing the congregation.

Among all, coming to church is a privilege, it is something that many would like to do, but they cannot.  The can’t because of being laid up in hospitals, nursing homes, away on trips, even some that are in prison or in a place where worshipping the Lord is not allowed publicly.

Reading the Bible or attending Church or praying on your own cannot save you… this bold statement is rather contrary to many preacher’s definition of being saved.  I was reading this morning about instructions from a pastor to one of his congregation... “Go home and Pray’. Suppose you are an ambassador of a country, It is your responsibility being an ambassador or if you are an officer at the Embassy, if someone comes and asks ”how can I seek political asylum as I am being pursued by my government for speaking about being a Christian”, would we say go home and wait? Wait for what? To be arrested? Or a miracle?  The same applies if someone comes and said, I am facing a doubt in my mind of how to be sure I have been saved? The answer is not one of Reading the Bible or attending Church or praying, Praying may save you if you were praying to the Lord Jesus and in fact called upon His name.

So, the instructions go home and Pray may not help you in finding the Truth. The Truth defined as the Good News of His Salvation.  It is the duty of the Pastor to counsel and provide guidance.  Therefore, we are doing what Paul was saying to the Philippians, described below…

Philippians 1:12-18

New International Version (NIV)

Paul’s Chains Advance the Gospel

12 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has served to advance the gospel. 13 As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. 14 And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.

15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill.16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.

Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,

Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus we come knowing that You our Lord & Savior sits on the Throne of Righteousness and as we come You intercedes for us. Lord we thank You for this day that we are privileged to serve You Lord and to bring Your Good News to all. Lord let our visitors find Grace in You as Your Faithfulness is forever and those that call on You Lord will be Saved. We give You our Praises and we thank You for allowing us to be a Vessel for You Lord. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday: March 10, 2018

Focus:   Doing what you think Jesus would do when confronted by temptation, try it…

Matthew 4:1

Satan Tempts Jesus] Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Satan Tempts Jesus

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written:

‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’

‘In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’”

Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’”

Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”

10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’

We all are susceptible to temptations as the devil masquerades as the angel of light…

2 Corinthians 11:14

And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

2 Corinthians 11:15

It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. In Context | Full Chapter |

Remember we are more than Conquerors, and in the last day God will seize the devil and bound him for a thousand years. And the ‘thousand’ years may be a thousand-thousands years, as day is like a thousand years in the sight of the Lord.

Revelation 20:2

He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

Finally, God will cast the devil away forever….

In Context | Full Chapter |

Revelation 20: 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Be happy and rejoice as the Kingdom of the Lord, there will be no sin, no evil as all will be sanctified by the Love of Christ, and we all will be made holy to be in the sight of God.

So, we shall say…  “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ These words will repel and rebuke the tempter as we reaffirm that we too serve only the Lord.

 Action/Coming to our Lord:

Hebrews 10: 36-39 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37 For, ”In just a little while,  he who is coming will come and will not delay.”38 And, “But my righteous one will live by faith.
    And I take no pleasure
in the one who shrinks back.”39 But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

Conclusion:  The text above warns of ‘Shrinking-back’ this is summed up with the conclusion for those that do will be destroyed. But those remaining faithful to our Lord will have Victory…

Philippians 3:20

Good News Translation (GNT)

20 We, however, are citizens of heaven, and we eagerly wait for our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, to come from heaven.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus we thank You for being our Mediator and through you by You we can come to the Father. Father God, today as we end the day we seek a closer walk with You Lord and Savior Jesus our Redeemer. Lord, knowing unless You build it, it is built in vain. Lord we acknowledge that by Grace we are saved through faith, and not of ourselves, Lord thank You for this Priceless Gift as we spread the Good News of Your Divine Salvation. Lord we are at Peace knowing that whoever calls upon Your Name Lord shall be Saved.  Lord we thank you for our Visitors and the increase in our Spanish readership Lord, it is for Your Glory and all that we do is to bring others to you Lord. We seek your blessing on all and we give you first place as you are preeminent. Lord Jesus Messiah, we pray in your Holy Name and to you be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday March 9. 2018

Do this…       Call someone today and surprise them with some Good News, call to give not to get.

The passage of Scripture below details all of what we should do…

Text: Romans 12 New King James Version (NKJV) In Context | Full Chapter

Living Sacrifices to God

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Serve God with Spiritual Gifts

3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Behave Like a Christian

9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.

14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 Therefore

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;

If he is thirsty, give him a drink;

For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Reflecting to the time when the Apostle Paul was imprisoned and taken before Felix the Governor. Paul spoke in his own defense of the charges against him, he made a frank confession of his faith in God, and how He was struck-down on the road to Damascus and came to be a servant of Jesus his Lord. Felix heart was evidently touched by Paul’s statement, to the extent that Felix commanded his centurion to free Paul. But a few days later he ordered his unique prisoner to come and tell him more about his faith in Christ. After Paul pointed out to Felix the judgment to come, Felix was filled with fear and sent him away saying… go and I will call you when I have a more convenient time. To Felix the love of power, money, worldly lust and pleasure had hardened his heart, and he did not repent when Paul told him about the Good News of Christ’ Salvation. Many of us are like Felix, and we feel that the need to know our Lord and to accept His Grace is something we can do in a timely manner.

His Promise:

In Romans 6: 23 we have His assurance, Jesus proved that there is life-after death, as He rose from the dead and Ascended into Heaven.

Ephesians 3: 20-21

20 Now to him who can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, we are privileged to be called Children of God through Faith.  Lord Jesus in You we trust and in You we are Redeemed by Your Crucifixion and Your Divine Resurrection. Lord we thank You for our Visitors, and Your Grace that will guide us all, as we look to You today for Your guidance, we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday: March 8, 2018

Consider this….   If you could save someone’s life, would you offer help?

Yes; we all can save someone… How? First saving someone’s life is a monumental achievement, but sometimes it is done, and no one thanked the person that did it. In Chinese tradition, if you saved some’s life that person is indebted to you for life. It is said that there is a great sense of accomplishment when you saved someone’s life.

I have experienced this by someone catching up to me and pulled alongside me and started pointed to the rear of my car.  I ran over a metal object on the highway and it pierced the gas tank and it started to flame-up.  I pulled over and we doused the flame.  I can still remember the person that saved me from the disaster.

Can you count the number of times you have been saved? I can recall up to six incidents that were life threatening…

How many can you recall?  Even one, and there is always a question… Why are we here?

There are many reasons why you and I may have to thank the Lord for allowing us to be here today.  So, there is a reason, and this reason is to save someone’s else life.  The act may not be a physical act such as getting someone out of a flaming automobile, but by the Act of Grace through our Lord Jesus who is our Savior.

We are Christ’s Ambassadors, made so by Jesus’ great commission, as He said…

Acts 13:47

For so the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’

Paul and Barnabas along with Lydia (the merchant that sold Purple cloth) and the jailers were among the founders of the church in Antioch, this is where followers of Christ were first called Christians.

As we are made a light to the Gentiles, even now we are considered ‘engrafted’ into the family of Abraham, so therefore, we are commissioned to bring the Gospel to the Jews, as we are to make them envious to come back to Christ….

Romans 11:11-12 New International Version (NIV)

Ingrafted Branches

11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!

So, today in the eyes of the Lord, we are neither Jews nor Gentile, we are in Oneness in Christ. As Billy Graham said… we are all created equally by God, and the Blood of all races are the same as he had multiple transfusions and he did not know from whom the blood was from.

Jesus Christ is the Savior of each of our lives, and this is the ‘More-Abundant’ Life that Jesus referred to when He said…

John 10:10

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Jesus Paid-it-All…

'Cause Jesus paid it all
All to him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain, he washed it white as snow

Because He made us Children by HIS Divine Power, as disclosed in Romans 8: 14, 15, 16 & 17…

Romans 14: For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.  And by him we cry, “Abba,Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

What a glorious day this will be, as Jesus has prepared a place of Splendor for those that know Him., We must accept Him and receive His Gift of Salvation by confessing

“Lord Jesus I come as a Sinner and I seek to receive You into my life as my Lord and Savior, I confess my sin and am privileged to receive Your forgiveness through Your Holy Blood of Atonement. Lord Jesus become the author and finisher of my Faith in You and guide me as I am made a new creation in You and a child of our Creator I am now a Joint Heir with You Lord Jesus as spoken in Your Word. Jesus; I acknowledge that my Salvation through You Lord Jesus is not of my own but only by Your Grace and Your Love for me. I pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus”, Amen.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come… Lord Jesus, Thank You for Your Saving-Grace, we thank You for this privilege of serving, and for our Visitors to be blessed as we all go in faith knowing that we shall see You as You are. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday:  March 7, 2018

List what your need to thank the Lord for and dedicate them for His Glory.

1 Thessalonians 5:18
 [Full Chapter]

be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God wants from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 13: 1-6 New International Version (NIV)

Concluding Exhortations

13: 1  Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;
    never will I forsake you.”

So we say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”

His Promise:

Romans 8 New International Version (NIV)

Life Through the Spirit

8.1  Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

His Faithfulness:

1 Peter 3:14

2 Corinthians 6:1-3 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 6 (Whole Chapter)

5) But if we reject Him…2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar;the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.
2 Peter 3:9-11 (in Context) 2 Peter 3 (Whole Chapter)

6) Some day His Grace will expire.. Hebrews 10:26

Good to Know: While our Lord is a Patient God, Loving, and Forgiving, but He is also a God of a Consuming Fire.

Therefore Beware, He will not be Mocked…Come to Him and ask Him to keep you pure by His Holy Sprit.

Devotionals for Tuesday: March 6, 2018

Do this….  List your needs then list the sources, and why should you get your desires.

Our Needs are what we can use, our ‘Wants’ are our ‘Wish’ list.  Sometimes what we wish for is not what we receive, as what we ‘want’ is not really what we need.

James 4:3 Good News Translation

And when you ask, you do not receive it, because your motives are bad; you ask for things to use for your own pleasures.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Sometimes, what we receive is far greater than what we requested.  The reason for this, is the Lord knows our capabilities. So, being entrusted with an abundance, the main factor is to remain humble and be a good trustee and carry out the mission of what He has provided, to be used for His Glory.

James 1:12

Testing and Tempting] Happy are those who remain faithful under trials, because when they succeed in passing such a test, they will receive as their reward the life which God has promised to those who love him. In Context | Full Chapter |

Remember the mission of the Lord today is not much different from the time of Moses… Today His people in Israel are being threatened by their neighbors, and what the Lord has entrusted me with is a small wedge against the forces against His people.

As we reflect on the faithfulness of God, and His promise…

Isaiah 54:17 [Full Chapter]

“No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from Me,” says the Lord.

It has been said… Necessity is the ‘Mother’ of Invention…Guess what? This is man’s saying. Read on… to see why we really never ‘Invented’ anything, we just ‘discovered’ and most times by accident.

Back when man was living in caves, God made Spiders that had the technology of making a ‘Trap-Door’ for their habitats.  When man was trying to fish, the bears were feasting on salmon. God had to provide daily food drops to His people in the journey to Canaan. Even today there are millions still unable to feed themselves around the world, and even in this land of plenty … The United states of America!

Jesus said… “ I come so that you may have life and have it more abundantly” , so what’s the reason why so many are suffering?  The answer is simple, did we say simple? Yes… the root cause of it all is the exploitation of mankind by their fellow man.  An example in a poverty-stricken nation that had an outbreak of Cholera, the life-saving medicine was shipped in and a team of physicians went to this country but the medicine was not available to be administered, why? The greed of men, they wanted to be ‘bribed’ before they would release the medicine, while hundreds were dying daily, the greedy government officials stood by with their hands outstretched looking for money.  This is an example of how many suffer from mal-nutrition and diseases that plagues the population of society.

Text: Hebrews 4:15-16 (New International Version (NIV)

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Devotionals for Monday March 5, 2018

Make a list of your weakness… then a list of your strength.

My list of Strength         = Zero

My list of Weakness      = Max

From where or whom do we get our strength?

The food we eat will provide fuel for our bodies for a limited time…  Our physical strength depends on our intake of nutrition, exercise, and mental abilities.

The adrenaline generated from our thoughts translating to physical attributes will be a greater portion of your strength.  So, listing our strength is somewhat difficult, as we are prone to physical limitations caused by the lack of impetus and a bit of laziness; driven by the inner-voice that may be saying “it can wait”.

Procrastination…  "To put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness," while Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary calls it "To put off intentionally the doing of something that should be done."

Have you ever missed a deadline to redeem a valuable coupon? Or to even pay your phone bill?  A classic example of

Someone practicing procrastination in the real-sense.… I returned my rental car at the front desk of my hotel in Geneva, Switzerland, and about a month later Hertz called from Germany asking where’s the car?  The hotel forgot to call Hertz to pick up the vehicle, by then the bill was now several thousand dollars.  I have no idea how this was resolved between American-Express, Hertz and Intercontinental hotels, as I was never charged for the vehicle.

Our ‘real-strength’ comes from the Lord…

Psalm 18:1-3 Amplified Bible (AMP)

David Praises the Lord for Rescuing Him.

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David, the servant of the Lord, who spoke the words of this song to the Lord on the day when the Lord rescued him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said:

18 “I love You [fervently and devotedly], O Lord, my strength.”
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and the One who rescues me;
My God, my rock and strength in whom I trust and take refuge;
My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower—my stronghold.
I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised;
And I am saved from my enemies.

David while fleeing Saul was constantly on the move, he was in the cave, while he did not pursue Saul, Saul relentlessly sought David, and there was a time when David could have killed Saul, but he didn’t.  David was fully vindicated by the death of Saul who fell on his own sword.

So, trust in the Lord and His Strength will be given you…

This is what He give, when we seek Him and to serve Him:

1 Timothy 1:12

The Lord’s Grace to Paul] I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. In Context | Full Chapter |

Be aware that your list of Strength is well-endowed… because The Lord has done this for those who loves Him:

Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.] In Context | Full Chapter |

Romans 12:2

2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

2 Corinthians 3:18 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Philippians 2:13 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act to fulfill his good purpose.

Praise the Lord… Father thank You for sending Jesus my Redeemer, Lord Jesus thank you for Your Divine assurance that whomever shall call upon Your Name will be saved. Lord thank you for our Visitors as we all call upon You this moment to give You our Praises. Lord bless us all as we go in faith knowing that all things work for the Good to all who loves You Lord. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Remember…    Praises are reserved for those that assisted you in life… it goes to the Lord first, because he is the first to help because He loves you.

Good News:  Today you can find The Lord, HE is still extending His Grace to us

Turn to the Lord and pray to him, now that he is near.

The Righteousness of Jesus is Pre-Eminent, and He did not claim to be the greatest nor wanted the title ‘The Great’ but His Humbleness and willingness to be the Lamb of God for mankind is more than we can comprehend.

Jesus never claimed to be Great, He claimed to be the Son of God, He never wanted to be king, yet He was King of kings, and one day this ‘Great’ King will return to be King of kings and Lord of lords.

So, looking at the so-called ‘The Great’ we can look at the art piece of Buddha’s remain in a box on the back of a Horse being taken to his final resting place, where he was return to dust.  But our Christ exited the Tomb and we can look at an empty tomb knowing our Jesus rose triumphantly and walked among His disciples for 40 days and then ascended to heaven.

Remember Jesus said… the Least among you shall become the greatest, the first shall be last and the last to be first.  So today are you feeling that you are not good enough, or you do not know enough and are passed by and left to be last?   Jesus said ‘Pick up your cross and follow Him’ what is your cross?  Your Cross is your resolve of knowing that Jesus is your Redeemer, as the sole purpose of His journey to earth was to die for you, and by His blood we are cleaned and are saved from the inherent sin of our forefather Adam.

Jesus is Faithful, If we have Faith we can do all things through Christ. Ask and your will receive:  When you ask “in-His Name’ and believe we will receive His Providence.

Romans 8:37-39 (NKJV)

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Good News...

º We are created in His Likeness

º Christ died for our Sins
º He Rose Triumphantly

º If you come to Him and ask for forgiveness, He will give it

º Jesus Christ is our Mediator and our Sovereign God
º When we are saved, we receive an Eternal life of Joy in Him
º He is coming again
º All those that are still here will be caught up in the air to Him
º His Kingdom will be fully Sanctified and Sinless
º We will be reunited with our loved ones

Our Lord said…

 1 John 3:17 (NIV)

17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Philippians 4:

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus

Conclusion: Matthew 25:35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,

Prayer: Heavenly Father we have Victory in You through Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus today we come and thank You for the Power of Your Grace as we in Faith combine Your Grace with our Faith in You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord We thank You for the privilege of serving You Lord, and we thank You for our Visitors, as we proclaim Your Good News Message to many. Lord let our Visitors be Blessed and grant them Your Peace. Lord we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore.  Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday:  March 3, 2018

Do this…  Enjoy your chores and hope that you will be doing it for another 50 years, if you can you will be healthy.

What is your task today? Is it going shopping, mowing the grass, washing the car, cleaning the pool or just relaxing in the shade?  To be able to perform any of the above 10, 20 or even 30 years from today, consider yourself blessed to be able to do any of the above.

So, don’t complain… as you will be also able to pick the fruits, enjoy a clean car, swim in a clean pool, and to be surrounded by a well mowed and trimmed shrubbery. So, enjoy the ride and praise the Lord for keeping you active and healthy.

Aging is an avoidable process

Aging is an avoidable process, some of us do better and some do not enjoy their sunset years. For sure everyone can have the Joy of the Lord, regardless of age.  Because when you know the Lord, you know that…’The Best is yet to come’.

So today as you look around and see the clutter in the garage, the best way to fix this is to give away what’s not needed and reduce the clutter. The same for our brains to have a clear mind, hit the delete key and look at the message from the Lord by reading His Word…

Proverbs 3:5-6 [Full Chapter]

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. My feet have closely followed his steps; I have kept to his way without turning aside. Job 23:10-11 NIV

The book of Job is considered the oldest book in the Bible, and may have been compiled by Moses.

I know of a man that suffered the lost of his fortune, but he never recovered it. On the other hand… Job’s family, wealth and a life of Joy was restored. Seeing these two examples of men that reached the pinnacle of life to be deposed, my admiration is for Job… as Job was stricken by ill-health and the loss of family, his wealth; yet, in his sad state, his wife said, curse God and die, but rather, Job praise the Lord by saying…  Job 19:25

For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth;  In Context | Full Chapter |

Job went on by saying…
And after my skin is destroyed, this I know,
That in my flesh I shall see God,

Job 42:10-16 New King James Version (NKJV)

10 And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed, the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. 11 Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the Lord had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold.

12 Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys. 13 He also had seven sons and three daughters. 14 And he called the name of the first Jemimah, the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch. 15 In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job; and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.

16 After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations.

The lesson here, Job continued in Faith… the other person once considered among the richest man in Florida, after losing everything, rather than turning to the Lord continued seeking to replace his fortune.

Today, use the moment to seek the Lord, and as He said… tomorrow will take care of itself.

Matthew 6:33-34 Amplified Bible (AMP)

33 But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer, Lord and Savior we come.  Lord as we seek You first, and Your Righteousness, Your Kingdom will follow.  Lord we thank You today for Your mercies as shown to Job, and for the faithfulness of Job, as an example that we shall follow.  Lord bless our Visitors as we start this new week.  We pray in Your Precious Name declaring the Power and the Glory to be thine…. Amen.

Epilogue:  Our God is a God of love, full of Grace through His Son Jesus the Christ. As seen in Job’s life, the Lord restores and His restoration is renewed far above what was lost.

Remember this…  Never complain, always give thanks even if it is not what you like. God will give you what you deserve.

“Deserve” means to be worthy of: merit; to be worthy, fit, or suitable for some reward or requital — deserve in a sentence.  even though we are not deserving of His Grace, He has given it to us… because…

Romans 5:8

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. In Context | Full Chapter |

Sometimes in life we are placed in a position that we may not like, you may be driving a car that you would prefer to own a new model, you may live on a street that has too much traffic, give thanks because you are driving and having a place to lay your head.

Jesus did not need a car, nor did He need a house in a fashionable neighborhood, He knew that His Heavenly Father has provided the ultimate place in His Kingdom. So, give thanks today, our Heavenly Father has also prepared the ultimate place for each of us.

Today is what counts, yesterday is gone and tomorrow will be governed by what you do today…

So, what can we do to make tomorrow a great day?  Give Thanks and call upon the name of the Lord.

Romans 10:13 [Full Chapter]

for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

What do we have to Give Thanks for? And to Whom do we thank?

Text: Philippians 4. 4-9

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Prayer is the ‘Pillar of Faith’ and coming to our Lord many times each day will strengthen us against the temptation, and He will make a way for us to overcome the wiles of the devil. Praise our Lord Jesus for He said…”Greater is He in you that who is in this world’ meaning by His Spirit in You can do all things through Him, Christ Jesus.

The Good News is that Jesus is Sovereign, He is Eternal, and He loves us! and above all Jesus died and Rose Triumphantly and conquered death by taking all of our Sins on the Cross.  Yes, He died for our Sins, and he Rose from the tomb, and He Ascended to Heaven and He is on the Throne of Righteousness, and one day he will return. We at Good News Forever would prefer to spread the Good News that God loves you, and He interceded for us to The Father.  At no time did our Lord ever leave us nor forsake us.

Are you ready for His return? Today His Grace abounds, and His Salvation is readily available to be received. So, come to Him, and pray…

Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, and I repent of my sin by accepting Your ‘Priceless-Gift, Lord Jesus Your Grace I receive and in You I place my trust. Lord direct my path as I seek a closer walk with you my Lord. I Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday:  March 1, 2018

Do this…    Try out-giving the Lord, you cannot… because He Restores.

His Faithfulness:

Yes, you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

Coming to the Lord:

Heaven is Real… God is Real – Eden Restored, a Place of splendor filled with the presence of our Lord, a place of Joy… Joy is mentioned in the Bible 244 times.

You should not worry; the Bible clearly teaches that if we know Christ, we are safely in God's hands forever when we die, and that nothing "in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:39).

Romans 8: 28-34

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.

34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

2 Corinthians 8:9  (NIV)

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

His Faithfulness:

As we look back to the day of His Crucifixion, Jesus died willingly, as He said…

53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? Matthew 26:53 New International Version (NIV)

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Romans 5:10 (NIV)

10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

Conclusion: What’s important to us in our daily lives? Is it our devotions, our daily ‘pursuit’ of happiness, or the challenge of making ‘ends meet’ ?  At Good News Forever we will not accept the response to our ‘How are you today’… with a response of ‘Same O – same O’ the only thing that remain the same is Sin, the Love of Christ is ‘fresh’ every moment of our lives.  For us believers it is not a same O; it is a constant growth in His Word, and standing on the promise that our Lord is forever faithful.

The 23rd Psalm said it all… This is not a poem, it is the promise of our Father in Heaven, and He made us a beneficiary of this faithful saying.  Claim it, Receive it and know it and Thank Him for it.  For He is our Shepherd…

Psalm 23 (AMP)

1 The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.

2 He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.

3 He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.

4 Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.

6 Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.

Heavenly Father It is with Awe that we come knowing Jesus our Redeemer rose triumphantly and sits on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity of our Father and the Holy Spirit, we come today knowing that we serve You our Living God who is Lord of lords and King of kings and You Jesus our Messiah is our Salvation.  Lord today as we go forward in Faith, grant us Your Favors and equip us as we seek to serve You and are privileged to be a Vessel bearing your Word of Life.
