Deceptive Practices and how to avoid them

Text:      Genesis 3 4      New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die!

The Fall of Man

Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’” The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die! For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”  When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings.

Commentary:

Yesterday we explored the subtleness of changes that can lead us astray. Today the topic is Deceptive Practices… deception is an age old practice as we read way back in the Old Testament of Esau & Jacob, and before this the serpent and the Lies to Eve that became the first sin of the world.  Deceptive practices are still commonplace globally, and it takes many forms.

In all aspects of our lives we see deceptive practices ranging in; Religion, Trade, Commerce, Government and even when you make final arrangements for a loved one. Don’t be in despair, as all concealments, misrepresentations; deceptions, lies, cheating and trickery are avoidable. In most instances we can classify the foregoing as robbery without violence.  So just as well the offender performed an injustice similar to the holdup by a bandit.

But we say don’t despair as we can avoid the deception, it takes a willing participant to make the schemers’ deceptive plans work, therefore we must not become a participant and be wise in seeking counsel before we enter into a binding contract that may contain deceptive practices. The same applies to when we are confronted with the deception of the devil to entice us in participating in his schemes, just like what took place in the Garden of Eden. Therefore we should seek our Counselor to rebuke the schemes and lies of the devil, as in Christ we have a superior ‘Counsel’ because He is Jesus, and He was introduced as:

Isaiah 9:6 (Written over 700 Year before Christ came as a man)

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For a child will be born to us; a son will be given to us;

And the government will rest on His shoulders;

And His name will be called Wonderful CounselorMighty God,

Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah known as the ‘Prince of Prophets’ wrote the above 700 years before the birth of Christ.

There is another type of deception that has proliferated across the country, today in every town and cities of America, we see Card-Reading and Fortune Telling shops, someone must be franchising these like fast-food outlets, while attending a businessmen fellowship meeting the chairman of an aeronautic company related the story of his life, even though he had achieved success and a wholesome family life, there was this ‘emptiness’ so he visited one of these fortune tellers, after his second visit; it was apparent that the fortune-teller found out who he was, and in his next session, the reading said… ‘Leave your wife and join me and you will be happy’… this was his last visit to this ‘fortune-hunter’. He went on to relate that he tried, Buddhism, becoming a follower of Zen and other eastern religions, he came full circle and realized that the teaching of Jesus Christ was the safe harbor he was seeking, and re-dedicated himself and found the inner peace through the grace of God.

His Promise & His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 1

New International Version (NIV)

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,

To God’s holy people in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—

to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,

he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ,

10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment —to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

Conclusion:

The following quotes are noteworthy…

The end of life is to be like God, and the soul following God will be like Him.

Socrates (BC 469-BC 399) Greek philosopher of Athens

God heals and the doctor takes the fee.

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) American statesman, scientist and philosopher.

We should live our lives as though Christ were coming this afternoon.

Jimmy Carter (1924-?) American statesman. 39th President of the USA.

Lord, how the day passes! It is like a life, so quickly when we don't watch it, and so slowly if we do.

John Steinbeck (1902-1968) American writer.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Coming to Our Lord is the most important step one can ever take in his or her life.  We can make this bold statement of all that comes to the end of their life and if all, they have is money, they died broke… But those in Christ are beyond wealthy, as they are Heirs to a place of Splendor that the Bible said, eyes have not seen, nor can we imagine the beauty.  As Jesus told the dying repentant thief on the cross, “Today you will be with me in Paradise” For those that have stayed in any five-star resorts and enjoyed the beauty and the appointment and services, that ends when we check out; even this cannot compare to the Paradise that our Lord has prepared for us.  Beyond the beauty His Kingdom will be filled with His Holy Presence.

1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:8-10 (in Context) 1 Corinthians 2 (Whole Chapter)

Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:14-16 (in Context) Hebrews 4 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come to thank You Lord Jesus for coming, and removing the veil that gave us access to You our Lord. In You alone we are saved by Your Grace. Lord Your Unconditional Love prevails and we are humbled by Your Majestic powers to be sacrificed for our Redemption, Lord we look to that day when we shall behold You as You are knowing that only what’s done in Your name for Your Glory will last, as we seek treasures in Heaven knowing that all things that we see are temporary, in Faith we look to that day when we will be transformed in the twinkling of an eye, Lord our strength lies in You and we seek Your Holy Spirit to bless us and for those visiting this Good News site for Your Glory and to bring others to You Lord. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory and Thine is the Kingdom, now and forevermore… Amen

Focus:  What God gives you will last but there is a caveat… Seek Him and His Kingdom first and what you receive will last forever…

Thoughts for the Day:    Who can you help today, or from whom do you need help?

TEXT:  Romans 3:24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, Romans 3:23-25 (in Context) Romans 3 (Whole Chapter)

Good News:  2 Corinthians 2:14

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

2 Corinthians 2:13-15 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 2 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:  A young man whose mother loved the Lord and taught him about the love of Christ, but this young man went off to college, became a physician buy never followed his mom’s leading. While in internship at a hospital where we saw a lot of accident victims; there was a man who suffered a mighty fall who was not going to make it.  This man was conscious so the young physician asked is there anyone that he would like to notify to come and visit him, the injured man said he had no relative, but he would like his landlady to come and see him so that he could pay what he owed before dying.

The young physician called the landlady who came a few times, the man died peacefully, the physician was asked; what should they do with a bible that they found that the man was reading, the physician said he would take it as the man had no relative.

Taking the Bible the physician opened the bible and found that this was a bible his mom gave him, when he went off to medical school that he sold. The physician’s name was written inside the front cover written by his mom. He was shocked because of the coincident of this bible coming back to him. He took it home and read all the passages that the man had underlined.  The young physician was led to the Lord after realizing the Word of the Lord and the unconditional love of God.

Sometime in our life when we offer to help someone, we ourselves get more benefit returning to us.  The incident of this young physician’s life’ experience of this accident victim owning a Bible that was owned by the young physician was a divine interaction of the Lord in the life of this young physician; whose mom was fervently praying for her son to come to Jesus.

Once thing for sure, the Lord answers prayers, and He never forgets, He is Omniscient, He is Omnipotent and our Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.

Do not neglect to entertain strangers, because somewhere or sometime an angel of our Lord will be sent to you…

The NKJV Bible mention the presence of Angels 190 times. One of the most profound visit of an angel was… Matthew 1:20

But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 1 (Whole Chapter)

The Divine Super-Natural powers of our God far exceeds our thinking abilities… so today we stand in awe of the great things our Lord has done for us; His Divine Redemption through his Crucifixion and His Triumphant Resurrection.  Knowing this we are more awe-struck that Jesus who is God Incarnate would do this for us, yes he did!  Because we are His greatest treasures, when He created us in His Likeness He said it was Good… so why did He had to die? Because mankind fell from His Grace He came to redeemed us.  Just as Jesus is of the linage of David through Joseph His earthly father that fulfilled the prophecy written over 700 years before Christ was born, we are descendant of Adam whom He created, and by the sin of Adam we are all sinners.

EVENING:

What a privilege our Lord has given us… Through His Death and Resurrection we have His Divine Redemption. You may say…why do I need to be redeemed? I am going to die someday and what do I know or care?  Guess what? You will never die, because you are carefully and wonderfully made in the Likeness of God, and as such we will never die. The Word of God said… It is appointed unto to man to die once and after that the judgment; here we see a very contradictory statement, how can you be around for the judgment if you died?  Because we really never die, and even after the judgment we will live forever.

In Christ we will have a life of Splendor, without Christ we are separated from God forever in a place of desolation.

Modern man will say… how can a loving God put him in a place of perpetual desolation (Hell) Yes, He will as His ‘Fair-Warning’ will end on the Day of the Lord. And the Bible also tells us that …  Peter 3:10

[The Day of the Lord] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.2 Peter 3:9-11 (in Context) 2 Peter 3 (Whole Chapter)

Our Lord is a Loving God but He is also a God of a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:29

For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:28-29 (in Context) Hebrews 12 (Whole Chapter)

Friends today our message is a little mix of ‘Fire and Brimstone' tone, but there is GOOD NEWS Because He is ready to receive you and make you a Victor and not a Victim…

2 Corinthians 8:9

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:8-10 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 8 (Whole Chapter)

2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:7-9 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 9 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your assurance that in You Lord we have peace and in You we have Victory. Lord we thank You for interceding for us to the Father as no one comes to the Father unless through Your Lord. Lord today we thank You for the privilege of serving You and bringing Your Good News to may for Your Glory. Lord bless our many Visitors and grant Your Favors upon us all as we go in faith. The Unending Love of Christ

Text: Romans 12:9-10 (NIV)

Love in Action

9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.

“Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:24

Commentary:   We are to have intimacy with Jesus, and to live by His precepts and teaching….If we desire to be in a faithful walk with our Lord, we are to come to Him not when we are in need but to have a constant relationship just like your ‘best friend’ that you Text and Email or call daily.

We are to know that His Holy Spirit give us ‘Power’ to overcome the evil forces and to rebuke the schemes of the devil by the Word of God… Just like when Jesus quoted Scriptures to ward off the devil that tempted our Lord. When we come to Jesus our High Priest, He intercedes to His Father our Creator, we are told to come to HIM boldly and make all petitions known with Thanksgiving in Prayer to our Lord Jesus.

No one is immune to temptation to sin, even Jesus was tempted but He remained Sinless, he used the scripture to thwart the temptation of the devil.

We too need the Two-edged Sword to thwart the temptation which is more than ever a blitz in lights, on the TV, the Internet, Print and music etc.  We have to look beyond the temporary pleasure that is abominable to our Lord.  We need to ask for His help in overcoming the urge.

Principle: Knowing that God loves us all, meaning we must be rooted in Love.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: 1 Timothy 1:14

The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

To be still and Know that He is GOD and Continue to work as He said the Harvest is great but the Workers are few...

EVENING:

The Difference of intellectually knowing my Lord or experientially knowing Him… Experience Christ by Living and Learning, Christ must be the Center of my/our Life.

This message today is to focus on how privileged we are… There is Someone who loves you, unselfishly and unseen by yourself.  His love is far more intense that the greatest love known to us all. The love of a mother cannot be compared with the love described in today’s Text:

Some of us are lonely or sometimes feeling rejected, without joy or love, there is One who knows us and cares for us and loves us.  He came to give us Joy, Happiness and Love, He is seeking everyone and His invitation is extended to each of us to receive His ‘Priceless’ Gift.

Just think that all of our earthly accomplishments will amount to naught (NIL) as we journey through this life, the elusive ‘Pot of Gold’ at the end of the rainbow, will in fact be there, as our Lord Jesus Paid it all…

We are invited to become the wealthy child of a King! He desires to relieve us of the strain and stress of this world’s challenges.

It this all true? It is a wonderful fact because our Lord loves you so much that He came and Paid It All. Yes we can come to our Lord Jesus and receive this Abundant Life as He said this is what He came to give us.

2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV)
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:7-9 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 9 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise:

Ephesians 2:10

New King James Version (NKJV)

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Conclusion:

Our Lord will never let us be ashamed of Trusting Him… He is forever FAITHFUL!

Prayer:

Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus in Faith we come into Your Holy presence knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness.  Lord Jesus as You executed the assignment of the Father and when You said “It is Finished” Lord we were emancipated from the Bondage of Sin by Your Blood.  Lord we thank You for Your Saving Grace and that we can look to that day when we shall see You. Lord bless this new week as we go forward in Faith, bless our Visitors and we thank you for the Visitors who came to the websites on Thursday… Lord bless all those reading the Good News for your Glory. Lord, we thank You for Your love and what You have provided. Lord grant us Your Favors, and lead us as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

2 Peter 3:8

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one dayis as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary: Recently published papers by scientists are claiming that the Universe is timeless, and the measuring of time points back to the theory of relativity as published by Einstein… meaning that the universe is timeless.  The mystery of the universe is still a baffling theoretical challenge to us, as the claim to travel at the speed of light there would be no time and the outcome of quantum mechanics would then in theory be the fourth-dimension.

Are we back to building the ‘Tower of Babel’ in our modern time? Or; is time really our modern day ‘Babel’ as the Past-Presence and the Future may be coexisting according to Einstein’s theory.  Probably this is why God gave us the force of Gravity that pulls everything to the center of earth.

A Timeless Universe meaning that everything is eternal is a paradox that God already gave us the answer and we keep ignoring His profound wisdom.   Gravity can only control our bodies, a mass that we call our physical bodies in which we life is subject to the factor of time, but our ‘Spiritual-Being’ is not subject to the earth-bound gravitational force, so what the scientists and researchers are proving is really reaching the climax of what Jesus taught.  The statement of “Unless you be ‘Born-Again’ you cannot enter into the Kingdom of God” what Jesus was saying, your Spiritual-Being needs to be ‘Super-Naturally’ washed in His atoning Blood, then as one who is now ‘Sealed’ with His Blood through His Divine Grace and when we receive Him (Jesus) we are redeemed.  This is where the Quantum-Mechanics will allow all those in Christ to be ‘Freed’ from their ‘earth-bound’ being, to allow the Redeemed to be a ‘Joint-Heir’ to His Kingdom. Therefore Christ is the Catalyst that causes it all to happen by His Grace. And when Christ said…Today you will be in Paradise with Him, He was referring to the Twinkling of an Eye when we will be transformed by our Faith in Him and by His Grace.

We will reflect on Stephen’s journey to Jesus… and as Stephen said, “Jesus receive my Spirit” here we read Stephen entering that Quantum Mechanic Zone.  Thousands of Christians are experiencing this pathway daily as they are received by our Lord Jesus to a Kingdom of Splendor, a place that Jesus called Paradise.

The ‘Black & White’ physical evidence that we all seek… meaning unless we can turn to page number 1001 of a manual that will tell us how to get onboard to take that Quantum Physic journey, we cannot believe that such a journey exists.  But this same person that needs the ‘Black & White proof’ will believe the lies of the devil or even believe in the novel written by English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll... publish in 1865 Alice in Wonderland a book that we all grew up with, impacting generations after generations.

Faith is an intangible factor, but this is as tangible as stepping in front of an oncoming locomotive… When Jesus said “If you have faith like a grain of mustard seed you could move mountains’ He was not saying that the mustard seed had any faith he was saying if your faith is as small as the little pinhead dot your faith could do things that we call supernatural.  By having Faith in Christ He will one day allow us to perform that ‘Supernatural’ Quantum Physic achievement of our journey to our Savior.

What a privilege that our Lord Jesus gave us… Just think that little ‘unknown-switch’ that we never knew we had, but being ‘Enlightened’ we now know that this ‘switch’ is engaged and we are now guided by His Holy Spirit. His Holy Spirit is what we would refer to as a ‘force-field’ that is a barrier that surrounds us when we accept Jesus and as He said, the angels of the Lord surrounds those who are in Him…Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. In Context | Full Chapter |

Devotional:

Lord knowing that when we are enlighten we are now given the privilege of knowing You Lord Jesus, yet to deny You and blaspheme against The Father we will never come into Your Kingdom, Therefore today anyone hearing the Good News of Your Divine Salvation and receiving You Lord Jesus there will be no condemnation as in You Lord Jesus Your Grace is bestowed upon us and by the law of the Spirit of life in You Lord Jesus we have been made free from the law of sin and death. Lord Jesus is it only because of Your Divine Redemption that fulfilled the condemnation of sin in the flesh, and by Your Holy Spirit Lord we are now saved by Grace, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Praise our Lord Jesus for His Saving Grace and by His Redemption through His Blood of Atonement we are assured of His Salvation.   If we say we have not sinned we make our Lord Jesus a Liar… Because he said ‘All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God’… Romans 3:23

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, In Context | Full Chapter |

Coming to the Lord:

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Romans 8 New King James Version (NKJV)

Free from Indwelling Sin

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

EVENING:

Romans 3: 21-26 God’s Righteousness Through Faith

21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Conclusion:

Today as we Praise our Lord Jesus let us thank Him for His Mercies, His Unconditional love and His Divine Redemption… for it is by (His) Grace that we are saved… Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come.  Lord Jesus as You said there is only One Mediator between man and God, and Lord we today look to You Lord Jesus and say Lord receive our Spirit as Your Holy Spirit will be indwelling in us as we commits all to You Lord.  Lord because You are One in The Father and by Your Holy Trinity we go in Faith knowing that we are assured by your Eternal-Word that we are justified freely by your Grace through You Lord Jesus. We thank you Lord for the privilege of bring this Good News to our Visitors, bless us all as we look to You Lord Jesus as the Author and Finisher of our Faith and our journey to You Lord Jesus. To You Jesus Messiah is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Morning:

Focus:    The wonder of it all… The Universe of billions of galaxies, the placement of the Moon and the perfect balance of our planet, only a God could have made this. The Universe is held together by God…

Scientists in the 1970s determined that there was more to the universe than meets the eye. They also arrived at the conclusion that the Milky Way, they found that the center would not hold—based on what they saw, the galaxy doesn’t have enough mass to keep everything in place. As it rotates, it should disintegrate, shedding stars and gas in every direction. The mystery that a spiral galaxy such as the Milky Way violates the laws of gravity, or the light emanating from it—from the vast glowing clouds of gas and the myriad stars—is an inaccurate indication of the galaxy’s mass.

But what if some portion of a galaxy’s mass didn’t radiate light? If spiral galaxies contained enough of such mystery mass, then they might well be obeying the laws of gravity. Astronomers dubbed the invisible mass “dark matter.”

“Nobody ever told us that all matter radiated, “Vera Rubin, an astronomer whose observations of galaxy rotations provided evidence for dark matter, has said. “We just assumed that it did.”

The effort to understand dark matter defined much of astronomy for the next two decades. Astronomers may not know what dark matter is, but inferring its presence allowed them to pursue in a new way an eternal question: What is the fate of the universe? (Credit article from Google®)

The billion and billions of Galaxies were placed in the universe to baffle our finite abilities… the scientist Vera Rubin said…”Nobody ever told us that all matter radiated, and he just assumed that it did… Here we can provide the proof…

TEXT John 1 Good News Translation (GNT)

The Word of Life

1 In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was with God, and the Word was God. From the very beginning the Word was with God. Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him.The Word was the source of life, [a] and this life brought light to people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never put it out.

God sent his messenger, a man named John, who came to tell people about the light, so that all should hear the message and believe. He himself was not the light; he came to tell about the light. This was the real light—the light that comes into the world and shines on all people.

10 The Word was in the world, and though God made the world through him, yet the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to his own country, but his own people did not receive him. 12 Some, however, did receive him and believed in him; so he gave them the right to become God's children. 13 They did not become God's children by natural means, that is, by being born as the children of a human father; God himself was their Father.

14 The Word became a human being and, full of grace and truth, lived among us. We saw his glory, the glory which he received as the Father's only Son.

15 John spoke about him. He cried out, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘He comes after me, but he is greater than I am, because he existed before I was born.’”

16 Out of the fullness of his grace he has blessed us all, giving us one blessing after another. 17 God gave the Law through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God. The only Son, who is the same as God and is at the Father's side, he has made him known.

Principle:  Out of the fullness of his grace he has blessed us all, giving us one blessing after another… Jesus did this for us all.

We are proven to be mere-men doing just like the men of old build the 'Tower of Babel’ the super collider in Cern Switzerland did not prove anything, it just opened up a new mystery that man dubbed “the God Matter”  or the God-Particle.

The attached Image will show the Cells in your body and their formation… the Sign of a Cross…

The mysteries of our Bodies, our Planet, and the Universe are all revealed in the Bible.

As Ronald Reagan said…”Within the covers of this book (the Bible) all the answers are provided for us”.

Colossians 1: 15-20 The Person and Work of Christ (The Good News translation)

15 Christ is the visible likeness of the invisible God. He is the first-born Son, superior to all created things. 16 For through him God created everything in heaven and on earth, the seen and the unseen things, including spiritual powers, lords, rulers, and authorities. God created the whole universe through him and for him. 17 Christ existed before all things, and in union with him all things have their proper place. 18 He is the head of his body, the church; he is the source of the body's life. He is the first-born Son, who was raised from death, in order that he alone might have the first place in all things. 19 For it was by God's own decision that the Son has in himself the full nature of God.20 Through the Son, then, God decided to bring the whole universe back to himself. God made peace through his Son's blood[c] on the cross and so brought back to himself all things, both on earth and in heaven.

Find Jesus, know Him today accept Him and let His Holy Spirit reveal things that you never thought were possible.

‘Knowledge is power’… This phrase is often attributed to Francis Bacon, in his Meditationes Sacrae (1597).[1] Thomas Jefferson used the phrase at least twice: Time and time again man has proved that our knowledge is finite and it is like a ‘boomerang’ that turns around and as we say boomerang…

The unclaimed 'Resources' are vital to our well-being not just for today but for the world to come… How can we gain access to the unclaimed resources?  And how might this help me or my loved ones?  Remember mankind was given the very best by our Creator, we squandered it and the life we life here today is we are on our own. A life of challenges, it like being sent back to the starting point when you were already on the podium receiving the prize; not much different from what God told the serpent… Genesis 3:14

So the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life.

Genesis 3:13-15 (in Context) Genesis 3 (Whole Chapter)

His resource that we haven’t claim is the Power of Faith.

Matthew 17:18-21 New King James Version (NKJV)

18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

Yes we have Good News today… and it is the Will of the Lord to endow you with His blessings.

Jesus said “Everything is possible for him who believes” The key is: Faith in Jesus is effective” This was a lesson to the disciples of their ineffectiveness to heal because of their lack of faith…

Faith is mentioned in the NKJV Bible 252 times… Hebrews 11:1

[By Faith We Understand] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1-3 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

2 Corinthians 5:7

For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 5 (Whole Chapter)

Galatians 3:11

But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.”

Galatians 3:10-12 (in Context) Galatians 3 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come…  Lord without Your Holy Spirit, as we are created by You Lord as free thinkers and cannot be spiritually minded without Your Guidance, therefore let us be filled with Your Holy Spirit Lord Jesus, let us each be a Vessel for You Lord Jesus. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and Lord grant us all Your Grace and Your Providence as we go in Faith knowing that all things work together for good to those who loves You Lord.  Be with us today as we ask this in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to you be the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for:  Tuesday May 26, 2015

Morning:

Focus:     Handle with Care… Life is Fragile, and the most Fragile of you is Your Soul, but it can be wrapped in ‘Cotton’

Topic: Why does evil exist? Why did God give us 10 Commandments that we cannot keep? They were given to let us know His Goodness.

Text: Exodus 24:12

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.”

Commentary: In life there is a wrong way and a right way. Why is there an instruction sheet enclosed in the little box that contains an electrical switch? Because you will attach the wrong wires to the wrong contacts, so read the wiring instruction to avoid burning the contacts. As we say… when all else fail, read the instructions.

In life we are confronted with allure of marketing, at an automobile show, they emphasis is not on the cars but the models standing by the vehicles.  In most commercials the promotion is not the product but what the product will do for you. So in today’s message we are focused on the ‘Core-Aspect’ of why Christ died for us….

First; He loves us, so this is the core reason, secondly, He wants us to be filled with Joy, Thirdly, He wants us to be where He is.

The above are what we consider to be God’s perspective as the scriptures taught us. Now let’s look at this from our own perspective.  Why do we need a Savior? Because without His salvation we are going down in the Titanic, so the following is more or less of why we need to be saved:

First, we are all survivalist, and will always struggle to survive, secondly, we would like to avoid being cast into hell and therefore we want to find a way around this. Thirdly, His offer of Lifer Everlasting sounds interesting, but we oftentimes postpone the decision to take up His offer.

Now we want to analyze why did we receive the Ten-Commandments.  Because the absence of a set of rule will cause us to be living a lawless life not governed by a set of instructions of how to live a good life. Just like the instruction of how to wire the switch, the commandments are there to tell us if we do the wrong thing we will be roasted, (like burning-up the wrongly wired switch)

We are all created as ‘Free-thinkers’ and having this freedom, we will choose the wrong things especially lured by the marketing blitz.  Some things are obvious that are done in our lives by applying intelligence; but rational thinking is not always applied. So when we stray off course we will be reminded of why you cannot get in your car and floor the accelerator pedal from the get-go.  Why? The consequences are either being spun out of control, burning the tires, or just ramming another vehicle or an object because of one’s insanity.  This brings us to the irrational action that usually comes with consequences.

In life the consequences are far more than having a damaged or wrecked automobile, Life is a Vapor, The Bible said… James 4:14

Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

Principle: You can’t ‘Test-Drive’ Christianity… to see if it works for you!

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Deuteronomy 6:2

that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Deuteronomy 28:13

And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.

Conclusion: The Followers of Jesus gave their lives for the Gospel, Why? Because they knew His Resurrection was TRUE…

The book of ACTS is about The Holy Spirit and the Disciples, as we see that Christ gave them the Holy Spirit that empowered them with the Power to Heal, and to Proclaim Him with Authority and be Fearless, they did this as they were filled with His Holy Spirit, “The Comforter” that HE said He would send after He ascended into Heaven.

Today we can boldly come to Jesus our High Priest as our Sovereign God, as he said “It is Finished” and the Temple Veil was torn, and by His Blood we are saved as He, Jesus is our Intercessor and our Mediator and He will never leave us not forsake us.

Accept His Invitation today; come to our Lord as He is willing to accept you just as you are…

Pray:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and through You Lord Jesus we can be Redeemed as we come with a contrite heart seeking Your Forgiveness, Lord we thank you for our Visitors and Your Saving Grace and we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Focus:    Choose Joy Lane because it will outlast the big-money lane…Wealth diminishes but the Love of God is forever

Big-Money Lane will meet your obligations and more… but “Big” will eventually be smaller and then smaller till it is really small, unless you have a sustainable plan.  A few days ago we spoke of the lost ‘icons’ of which the outstanding one would be Kodak® a former household name around the world… the motto of  ‘a Kodak moment’ meant taking a photo to remember.  While this company was the world leader in photography that gave generations after generations from the Kodak-Brownie Box camera to the world’s fastest color film, and yet they lost the leadership in the industry. The irony of Kodak’s demise as an industry leader is that they invented the Digital Photography that is today’s standard of photography…

Ecclesiastes 6:2

A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.

Wealth received by the Grace of God’s Providence to be used for God’s purpose in one’s life will be sustained and the fruits of the endeavors will be in abundance as a good stewardship is like a tree planted by the river.

Ecclesiastes 5:19

Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

So choose Jesus and the ‘Big-Money’ Lane will be revealed so that you can use the fruits of the endeavors to further the Mission for what you have as a custodian for His Glory.

Remember the prodigal son, while he still had money he had a lot of friends, but when he had squandered it all the text here says it all…Proverbs 19:4

Wealth maketh many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour. In Context | Full Chapter

Commentary:

We wrote about the story of the son that was asked by his dad, “Son what would you like for your graduation?” he replied, I liked the car I have seen in the dealer’s showroom, came graduation day and he came home to find a Bible with a ribbon, he reacted by walking out and leaving home. Several years later he was called home as his Dad was gravely ill, he arrived home too late. Later in the afternoon he wondered into his old bedroom and (everything was still intact just as the day he left home) he saw the Bible, picked it up and opened it, inside was a card and a gift certificate to the car that he had chosen.  This is a tragic story for a young man that missed the love of his father.

Many like this young man are doing the same to our Heavenly Father, as His “Gift” is in Jesus His Son that we often take for granted…  The analogy of the above, is; Jesus came so that we may have life and more abundantly.  We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping and the rest of the time awake, We probably spend the remaining 2/3 learning if we are students, or working if we are adults.  The similarity to the unfortunate story of the young man that missed his dad’s love; and a lifetime of friendship lost due to ‘arrogance’ but in our case, it may be the pursuit of making a living, or simply just existing.

Jesus said… John 10:10 New King James Version (NKJV)

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Just like the Youngman that passed on the Bible, we pass on receiving Jesus who said in Him there is Life Everlasting, and even now while we journey home to His Kingdom, He can give us an Abundant life while we face the challenges of this world...

His Promise: 2 Peter 1:4 New International Version (NIV)

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

His Faithfulness:

Jesus is our Protector, our Redeemer, our Intercessor and above all He Redeemed us by His Blood.  Why is ‘Blood’ important in a Sacrifice? Because … Hebrews 9:7

Conclusion:

Happiness is within our Heart, it is not in our Wallet.  The Grace of God is more resourceful that the fattest wallet or the largest bank account.

1) Knowing that God loves us all, meaning we must be rooted in Love.

2) To remain un-shaken remain strong by the Established Love.

3) To be rooted and established in Christ’s Love,

4) To be filled with God’s Holy Spirit,

5) That one must be satisfied and complete in Him,

6) To move towards the full purpose that God intended for us,

7) Let the Power of His Holy Spirit work in us

Morning:

Focus:             The Goodness of God is His Son Jesus, and while He was rich He became poor for us, but His Father gave Him the Kingdom and the Riches of the Kingdom is untold and boundless. He has endowed us to share His Kingdom.

TEXT: Matthew 25:35

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in… In Context | Full Chapter

The Lord was not saying ‘HE” was hungry and thirsty, but those we invited in and gave them something, we are doing this for Him.

Today as we meet others, let us share the privileges granted by our Lord…

  • Jesus said we are no longer servants, we are His ‘Friends’
  • We are more than Conquerors
  • We are “Heirs’ to His Kingdom
  • We are forever safe…
  • All things will work together for Good…Romans 8: 28

Romans 8: 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who [I] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[j]

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, [k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Principle:  Revelation 20:6

Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

Commentary:

An old English story related the experience of a Dutchman who had settled down at the Cape of Good Hope, he saw a poor native reading the Bible and said scornfully: This book is not for you or the likes of you.” The native person answered quietly: “Yes, it is for me, sir.” The Dutchman said… How do you know? ” - “Well my name is mentioned in it”, “your name?  Where?”. “Sir, said the man, pointing to the verse…This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptances that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”… Sinner that is my name, that’s why the book is for me. The Dutchman did not know what to say to this.  Yes God’s Holy Word is a book for us all.

We can say with full conviction that the Bible is the only book for us all, and we can draw riches for time eternity.  Happy are all who read it in simplicity and sincerity of heart like that native man who recognized himself to be a Sinner before a Holy and Righteous God that show not preference, as He is not prejudice and do not take sides because of race, color or creed.

Let us not ‘pre-judge’ anyone and let us revisit His Commandment which is founded on Love.

1 Timothy 1:15

New International Version (NIV)

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners —of whom I am the worst.

The Grace and Love of our Lord

His Sovereignty, His Majesty, His Love, His Redemption….

His Love:   Our Sovereign God loves us so much He sent His Son to Redeem us

1 John 4:10  NIV
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
1 John 4:9-11 (in Context) 1 John 4 (Whole Chapter)

2 John 1:6
And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

His Divine Providence

Job 10:12 NIV
You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit. Job 10:11-13 (in Context) Job 10 (Whole Chapter):

His Saving Grace:

2 Timothy 1:9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
2 Timothy 1:8-10 (in Context) 2 Timothy 1 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion: We can come to the Throne of Righteousness in Prayer knowing that our High Priest our Redeemer Jesus Christ intercedes for us and by His Grace we are Saved… Amen

Prayer… Lord let me be humble and by brotherly love not pre-judge anyone. Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and  capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You.  leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore; Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broaden and grant our audience who seek You Lord Your Peace,  and as Your said Lord.. ”You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

Devotionals for:  Saturday May 23, 2015

Morning:

Focus:    Stand firm… you are surrounded by your private bodyguards, the battle is already won, don’t panic we already won…

There are 34 ‘Stand firm’ mentioned in the Bible (NIV) and the NKJV.

There are 124 ‘Be Still” mentioned in the NIV

Being ‘Still’ means…free from turbulence or commotion; peaceful; tranquil; calm:

the still air, or a still, small voice.

What was the Word of God telling us… Psalm 46:10 [Full Chapter]

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

So when we say… Stand firm as your ‘personal’ bodyguard surrounds you, God affirmed this; Psalm 34:7

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

Remember God provided the Smoke/cloud by day and fire by night to guide the people and today we have even more than what the Israelites has, as we have the ‘Holy-Spirit’.

Exodus 13:21

By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. In Context | Full Chapter

His Faithfulness:

Let’s look at what the Lord did to the Syrian army. During an invasion the Syrian General tried to overthrow King Hezekiah's army by telling the Army general of Hezekiah, “why not defect to us and stop believing in your king that believes in a God that cannot do anything, look at us, we overran Egypt, and we will crush you as your king knows nothing but to trust in his God that will not save him,

Guess what? that night, God sent a Plague of Black death carried by Rats, and 8,000 soldiers died.  The lesson here, if you go against our God, guess what? you will always be put out of business, you can curse everyone, everything, blame it all on others, but when you oppose things that are of our God, He will not tolerate it.

We have leaders in our society that endorse Gay Marriages, Muzzle the Chaplains  mandate that they perform gay marriages, Fund Abortion centers with Tax dollars, Remove Jesus from public prayers, curse Congress for making “in God we Trust” a Mandate, interfering with the National day of Prayers,  and not telling the truth.  The result of TRUTH… No. 1 is that; Truth Hurts Liars, and the other:  TRUTH sets us Free... Our Lord Jesus who is God Incarnate and He was there before Earth was formed, so this Truth is what we believe, and He will do what is necessary, as He said, "No weapons formed against us will prevail"

Remember when the Syrian also learned that they were not fighting the Israelite, they were fighting Elijah, guess what? They surrounded Elijah with thousands of soldiers, and you saw the result, Elijah said, Our God is more powerful that all of them, and guess what? Suddenly they were surrounded by an army from God and the mountain was filled with Chariots of Fire, is our God an Alien? the answer is Yes and No...God is Alien to those that do not know HIM, He is OMNISCIENCE, OMNIPOTENT & OMNIPRESENCE to us believers...

His Promise:

He said... FEAR NOT The Battle is MINE"

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Psalm 37:4-5New International Version (NIV)

Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:

New International Version (NIV)

When we look at the structure of giant fortune 100 companies that dominated their industry, gone are the icons like KODAK®, WorldCom, Washington Mutual, IndyMac, Bear Stearns, RCA, etc.; these ‘Giants’ when compared to the business of our Lord, they all came and they all went… but our Lord is forever and as Jesus said his Word will never Pass, Heaven and Earth will pass and His Word will last… Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Matthew 24:34-36 (in Context) Matthew 24 (Whole Chapter)

EVENING:

Today make Jesus Christ the Center of your life

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

If you know HIM you will Love and Serve HIM…

Romans 12:1 (NIV)

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

John 14:21 (NIV)

Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Then live by HIS precept, as told to us in:

Matthew 6:33 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

So today we can know the affirmation of:

  1. Whom we believed
  2. In Whom we place our trust
  3. He is Faithful and Trust Worthy to defend us
  4. Who we can look to for what we need
  5. And HIS Rewards are granted to those that seek HIM FIRST…

And our Heavenly Rewards are far greater that the temporary things that will need replacing as soon as man’s short-term warranty expire so that they can sell you a service contract.

With our Lord there is a Service Contract but there is no Premium, why? Because; HE already paid it in FULL at the Cross by HIS Blood; His blood is the “Atonement” for our sins, it is the Divine Gift of Grace that He granted to each of us.

1 John 3 NIV  1. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!  And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

 2. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

  3. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus we thank You for this privilege of coming into Your Holy presence. Lord because You are  on the Throne of Righteousness as our Mediator between Man and God, Lord we thank You  that we can boldly come to Your as the Veil of the Temple was torn revealing You Lord Jesus as our Savior.  Lord bless this day as we go in Faith to spread the Good News of Your Divine Powers and Your Grace. Lord we give You first place in our lives and offer ourselves as a living Sacrifice to have Your Holy Spirit indwells in us.  Lord we ask Your blessing upon our Visitors and that Your Favors be released to us all as we come and give Thanks for Your Love and the Covenant of Truth in You Lord. Lord guide us and let Your plans for our lives be revealed as we are privileged to serve You Lord. We pray in Your precious name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for:  Friday May 22, 2015 (Pentecost)

Morning:

Focus:    Will there be a time when the Jews, the Iranian, Syrians, Egyptians all be gathered together?  Yes…

This is the day set aside to commemorate the event when the Holy Spirit descended.  It was also a day of Salvation when Peter preached and over three thousands came to Christ. See Verse 40 of Acts 2.

Today we see large crusades in areas and stadiums, but nothing compares to the eventful day when the Holy Spirit descended upon those that were gathered. Among them were Egyptians, Arabs, Libyans, Romans, Jews, Partians (natives of Iran, formerly known as Persia) and many from Judea and surrounding regions.

Today is the Day of Pentecost, as we revisit the event of Pentecost recorded in the Acts of the Apostles. The Book of ACTS was written by LUKE who was a physicians and an Apostle; written around AD 63, this was 63 years after the Birth of Christ and 33 years after Christ was Crucified.

Pentecost comes 50 days after Easter, Easter is the 2nd most important event ever recorded in the history of mankind. Easter commemorates the Resurrection of Jesus that triumphantly rose from the grave, and Divinely Ascended 40 days after His Resurrection. (The 1st most important event in mankind’s history was the Virgin Birth of our Lord Jesus, the 3rd most important was the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven.) The Bible went on to say that Jesus will return, we will cover this subject next week.

Pentecost is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit that Jesus said He would send from His father…

TEXT: John 15:26 Amplified Bible

But when the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, Whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth Who comes (proceeds) from the Father, He [Himself] will testify regarding Me.

John 15:25-27 (in Context) John 15 (Whole Chapter)

Read the text below in Acts 2: Verse 5-12 and see how the Holy Spirit touched those present and filled them all with the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2

New International Version (NIV)

The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost

2: 1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

5 Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. 7 Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? 9 Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontusand Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” 12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”

Peter Addresses the Crowd

14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! 16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17 “‘In the last days, God says,

I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy,

your young men will see visions,

your old men will dream dreams.

18 Even on my servants, both men and women,

I will pour out my Spirit in those days,

    and they will prophesy.

19 I will show wonders in the heavens above

and signs on the earth below,

blood and fire and billows of smoke.

20 The sun will be turned to darkness

    and the moon to blood

before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

21 And everyone who calls

on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

22 “Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. 23 This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. 24 But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. 25 David said about him:

“‘I saw the Lord always before me.

Because he is at my right hand,

    I will not be shaken.

26 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;

my body also will rest in hope,

27 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,

you will not let your holy one see decay.

28 You have made known to me the paths of life;

You will fill me with joy in your presence.’

Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All…Prayer:  Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions and where You are we will be. Lord, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us as we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for:  Thursday May 21, 2015

Morning:

Focus:    The grass is always greener on the next side… avoid the reflection of the bigger bone, read more…

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and tomorrow…

Text:

James 1:17 New International Version (NIV)

17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Commentary:      Before the beginning of it all, Jesus our Savior was destined to be our Redeemer… John 1:9 New International Version (NIV)

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.

Genesis 1 New International Version (NIV)

The Beginning

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning —the first day. † (End of Text)

This ‘Light’ was Jesus-Yeshua, as we read when Jesus said…”I was with the Father from the beginning”

So often we are in a position that we would trade where we are for another place just because the ‘Grass is Greener on the other side it is like the dog that went to the pond with his bone and saw a bigger bone in the reflection, not knowing it was just a reflection, he grabbed for that bone only to lose his bone, ‘this is the dog in Aesop's fable.'

Christian families are sometimes susceptible to seeing the grass being ‘Greener’ on the other side… thankfully new regulation has allowed Home-Schooling in today’s society. ‘Home-Schooling’ practice is growing across our nation.
and gained popularity because it enables families to safeguard the values, morals and joy of learning that focus on the child’s abilities to progress at a pace without the distraction of other schoolmates; which in some instances some may be slow learners or sometimes disruptive.

Therefore kids in home schooling are not susceptible to peer pressure to participate in the ‘greener-Grass syndrome’

We could say that the Disciples of Christ were more or less ‘Home-Schooled’ as we do not read where any of the 12 (or rather the eleven) were taught in any formal place of education or even being a member of a temple or synagogue. Was our Lord leading His disciples away from the masses applying His teaching of not to be unequally yoked?

Paul that wrote a greater portion of the New Testament who was chosen by Jesus that made him a ‘Vessel’ for the Good News to bring the gospel to the Gentiles.  Saul before he started using his name Paul, was an avid persecutor of Christians, but he was struck down on the road to Damascus and made a ‘Vessel’ of our Lord; to preach the Gospel, as Paid said…2 Corinthians 12:2
I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. 2 Corinthians 12:1-3 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 12

His Faithfulness:

Yes you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

Coming to the Lord:

A PLACE OF SPLENDOR HE ENDOWED TO US

22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.† (End of Text)

The message above is saying… our Lord will not tolerate Sin, and Sinners cannot come into His presence, but it is only by the Grace of our Lord Jesus that washed our sins away so that we can be made whole to come into the Kingdom of our Lord.

He is Faithful and He said… Eden will be Restored

Revelation 22:

22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

His Faithfulness:

Revelation 7:17
For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ ”
Revelation 7:16-17 (in Context) Revelation 7 (Whole Chapter)

EVENING:

Action / Coming to our Lord:

John 1:18 New International Version (NIV)

18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Conclusion:

Romans 1:20 New International Version (NIV)

20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

The message above is saying God in His Infinite knowledge knew before the sin of Adam & Eve that we whom he created had to be Redeemed by His Divine Grace, therefore Jesus was predestined to be the Lamb of God, confirmed below: (Written over 700 Years before the Birth of Christ)

Isaiah 53:7  (Written over 700 years before Christ was born = approximately 2765 years ago, this was making reference to Jesus who is our Redeemer)
He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. Isaiah 53:6-8 (in Context) Isaiah 53 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God we come into Your Holy presence. Lord Jesus today we stand at the Cross knowing that You came and Paid-It-All, and that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord all things point to the day that will be known as ‘The Day of The Lord’… By Your Grace Lord we can say come and come quickly as the prophecy of Your teaching are being fulfilled. Lord bless us as we seek Your Divine leadership in our lives, and Your Holy Spirit to be in us and we seek your Blessing, and lift You up before all, knowing we serve you Lord Jesus our Eternal God in One of our Father and Creator and by Your Holy Spirit Lord let Your favors be granted as we Thank You Lord and give You the Praises and the Power and Glory be Yours now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for:  Wednesday May 20, 2015

Morning:

Focus:    Let the solution begin with you, the boy and the starfish… saving one at a time is the key…

Once upon a time, there was an old man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach every morning before he began his work. Early one morning, he was walking along the shore after a big storm had passed and found the vast beach littered with starfish as far as the eye could see, stretching in both directions.

https://eventsforchange.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/starfish11.jpg?w=150&h=104Off in the distance, the old man noticed a small boy approaching.  As the boy walked, he paused every so often and as he grew closer, the man could see that he was occasionally bending down to pick up an object and throw it into the sea.  The boy came closer still and the man called out, “Good morning!  May I ask what it is that you are doing?”

The young boy paused, looked up, and replied “Throwing starfish into the ocean. The tide has washed them up onto the beach and they can’t return to the sea by themselves,” the youth replied. “When the sun gets high, they will die, unless I throw them back into the water.”

The old man replied, “But there must be tens of thousands of starfish on this beach. I’m afraid you won’t really be able to make much of a difference.”

The boy bent down, picked up yet another starfish and threw it as far as he could into the ocean. Then he turned, smiled and said, “It made a difference to that one!”

Let it begin with me…

Once enlightened as we have introduced you to Jesus, do not deny Him, as He said no one comes to the father without Him.

TEXT:     Hebrews 10:26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,

2 Peter 2:21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

Focus:  The difference of being ‘Intellectually’ enlighten and ‘Spiritually’ enlightened… Hebrews 10: 26 is referring to the intellectually enlightened that never came to the Lord and Accepted Him… Because if one rejects Him then the Sacrifice was not offered for his sin, but when you accept Christ His Sacrifice is placed upon you as His Blood is His Seal, His Deposit made for you as said in Ephesians 2:8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--

2 Peter 2: 21 gives us the full explanation… to have known it and ‘turn their back’ on the sacred command passed on to them. This statement said they have passed on the Priceless-Gift from our Lord Jesus.

God’s word said all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God… Romans 3:22-24 New King James Version (NKJV)

22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Hebrews 9: 28 (ESV) so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Note: Once saved you are saved by Grace as Christ’s Sacrifice was sufficient to save us by His Blood of Atonement.

Devotional:

Father in Heaven we thank You for sending Jesus our Lord and Savior… Lord Jesus knowing that You were with the Father from the beginning of it all and that by Your Divine Grace through Your Crucifixion and Triumphant Resurrection we are saved by Your Blood of Atonement. Lord Your Divine Sacrifice made for us sinners is an unmerited Gift that You have extended to us. Lord we accept Your Gift of Life in You and we make You Lord knowing that we have Victory in You by Your Divine Grace.

We acknowledge that our Lord Jesus is the only way to the Father and we can only come to the Father through Jesus His Son, so today we go in Faith knowing that in Christ alone we are saved and not of anything we do.  Praise our Lord and Savior for His Priceless Gift, and He our Lord Jesus is our Priceless Gift as we have the privilege of coming to Him and giving Him the Glory.

Coming to the Lord:

Hebrews 9:24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; In Context | Full Chapter |

EVENING:

Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in allpoints tempted as we are, yet without sin. In Context | Full Chapter |

Conclusion:

Today as we acknowledge the Saving Grace of our Lord, and we emphasize “His Grace” as only He alone can save, so we thank our Lord Jesus for His Grace, knowing that while we were yet sinners He Jesus Christ died for our sins.

Because He took our Sins to the Cross, and He said…”It is Finished”, let no one lead us astray as by His Grace we are saved and not of anything that we do.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17: For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

God’s word above refers to the World, but in Verse 18, we will observe that the theme here was “Whoever”

John 3:18: Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son

2 Corinthians 5:21

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God"

Colossians 1: 15-20 New International Version (NIV)

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

For He said:  All things work together for good to those that love the Lord…

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.Romans 8:27-29 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

Remember the battle is the Lord's, and HE sits on the Throne of Righteous and intercedes for us... What a Privilege HE gave us!  Revelation 21:4 New International Version (NIV)

4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.’

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord today as we look at the challenges of life we also have Your assurance that we too accept Your Word…“Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your Divine blessings upon each one, we thank You for the privilege of presenting the Good News of Your Salvation. Lord we thank You for Your Redemption and lift You up before men knowing that we will never be ashamed in trusting You. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Messiah, to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for:  Tuesday May 19, 2015

Morning:

Focus: The Bible is the best-selling book ever, are we reading it? Read it and learn God’s instruction of gaining His peace…

The Bible is the world’s best-selling and most widely distributed book. A survey by the Bible Society concluded that around 2.5 billion copies were printed between 1815 and 1975, but more recent estimates put the number at more than 5 billion.

The whole Bible had been translated into 349 languages; 2123 languages have at least one book of the Bible in that language.

The Bible is all about the Son of God, why?  Read on…

God said…”Let there be Light” and there was Light, this was the first day of Creation, the Sun was not yet place in the firmament.

TEXT: John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Principle:  The Word of God is a ‘Two-Edged’ Sword’   how many ‘notches’ do you have on your weapon?  Jesus said…”Follow me and I will make you fishers of men”

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Over 2,715 years ago God spoke through Isaiah the Prophet giving His assurance to His people… “The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your soul in drought and strengthen your bones, you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose water do not fail”… Isaiah 58:14

Remember the Bible is all about Jesus, without Him there was nothing made and with Jesus all things are held together.  On the Day of The Lord (Man has a saying… “When all (hell breaks loose”) all things will become ‘Un-Glued’; The Bible states… But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up, 2 Peter 3: 10

Analyzing the above…  We who are alive and still here on that day, shall be caught up together with them (those that are already with our Lord), and together be reunited to meet Our Lord and be with our Lord forever.  You probably say how can this be? The Bible said every knees shall bow and there is a judgment? The Bible also said… There is now ‘No-Condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus”  But those that remain not knowing our Lord will be in the midst of this great troubling time, with no relief.

Romans 8 1-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

Free from Indwelling Sin

8 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Action/Coming to our Lord: Come to Jesus today… He said; I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go, I will guide you with My eye. Psalm 32: 8

Matthew 17:20 New King James Version (NKJV)

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Conclusion: Good News…. God’s Grace extends through the day above… Why?  Because all those in Christ will be caught up in the Air…  1 Thessalonians 4: 12  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: No matter what we face today, is it an interference in your life that distracts you from serving your Lord?  Just remember… Elijah’s message; 1“Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them 2 Kings 6: 16

Action/Coming to our Lord: Bring to our Lord all your needs, sometimes is not need for money, but most times it is the need to Stop and Know that He is God, and put Jesus first and His Righteousness and your needs will be fulfilled.

Conclusion:  In what way can you use the help of our Lord?  Fear is from the evil one, this is the doctrine of the devil, our Lord said Fear not; for we have our Lord’s assurance of… For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of POWER and of LOVE and of a SOUND Mind… 2 Timothy 1: 7

Morning:

Focus: Why should we care about the war and rumors of war? We all have our own constant battle, so let’s take care of it first.

What is your constant battle? Whatever it is God will make a way for you to conquer the challenge that you face.

The Bible is a ‘Loaded-Gun’ it is powered by that sacred-covenant from God… where do we find these assurance that God is on your side? First we must know Him, and when you know God by accepting Him you are saved by His ‘Grace’ and is now a considered a child of God.  Some of us may be a board-chairman of a fortune 500 company and may say how I may be a ‘Child’?  Jesus never said that you would be treated like a child, what He was telling us is our intelligence is limited as the things of God is far above our comprehension.

TEXT: Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.

In Context | Full Chapter |

So stop questioning the Divine Power of His Sovereignty and come in faith like a child.  The innocence of a child is the most touching scene that anyone can ever see.  This is why Jesus said whoever causes one of these little one to stumble, woe to them.

Matthew 18 New International Version (NIV)

The Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven

18 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

Causing to Stumble

“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!

We are set free by His Blood…
Matthew 26:28
For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

The Power of Jesus…

John 18 New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Arrested

18 When he had finished praying, Jesus left with his disciples and crossed the Kidron Valley. On the other side there was a garden, and he and his disciples went into it.

Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples. So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons.

Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, “Who is it you want?”

“Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied.

“I am he,” Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.)When Jesus said, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground.

Again he asked them, “Who is it you want?”

“Jesus of Nazareth,” they said.

Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If you are looking for me, then let these men go.” This happened so that the words he had spoken would be fulfilled: “I have not lost one of those you gave me.”[a]

The question today should we be concerned with the war and the rumors of war, our answer is yes. Beyond the personal constant-battle the war of men raging because of greed, exploitation will continue to that fateful day of the Lord, then all ‘war-lords’ will know who is in charge.  So let us battle the personal warfare by knowing that our Lord has said the battle is not ours… it’s the Lord.

His Faithfulness:

Jeremiah 29:10-12 New International Version (NIV)

10 This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Yes you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…  The text above said when seventy years are completed for Babylon, is also meant for us all… as our daily lives many be like being in Babylon, so the Lord declared…11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Coming to the Lord:

Matthew 19:14

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Morning:

Focus:            Have you shared the goodness of God lately?  He freely gave us His ‘Priceless gift’ so share with others today…

The ‘Goodness’ of God is His Son Jesus… as Jesus came that we may have life and have it ‘more’ abundantly.

Today as we gather, let us remember that Jesus is not the ’bystander’ He is our Mediator and we are gathered in His Holy Presence.

So our presence before God is with Jesus standing at our side, as He said… “Father I hereby present (your name) who is made righteous through my Divine Redemption, as I this person is now able to come into Your Holy Presence Father”

Remember no one has ever seen God… Moses may have spoken to God but He never saw the face of God…

Only His Son Jesus, and Jesus is the image of the Invisible God…

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

1 Timothy 2:5-6

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Hebrews 4:15-16

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

John 14:6
Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
John 14:5-7 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

We want to clarify the statement of no one has ever seen God…. Which is confirmed in 1 John 4:12
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

In Genesis 32: 30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

Here we read Jacob saying He saw God face to face. We are clarifying that He saw Yeshua/Jesus who was there from the beginning of it all, as Jesus also walked with Adam in the Garden.

See Colossians 1: 15-17

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

EVENING:

Psalm 106:1

New American Standard Bible (NASB).

106 Praise the Lord!
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His loving kindness is everlasting.

‘There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear...” 1 John 4:18

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”  Proverbs 9:10

Acts 10:34-43

Christ is the power of God, for he is the Creator of all things, and by Him all things exist. But when he came to earth, took upon himself the fashion of a man, tabernacled in the inn, and slept in the manger, he still gave proof that he was the Son of God; not so much so when, as an infant of a span long, the immortal was the mortal, and the infinite became a babe; not so much so in his youth, but afterwards when he began his public ministry, he gave abundant proofs of his power and godhead.

The winds hushed by his finger uplifted, the waves calmed by his voice, so that they became solid as marble beneath his tread; the tempest, cowering at his feet, as before a conqueror whom it knew and obeyed; these things, these stormy elements, the wind, the tempest, and the water, gave full proof of his abundant power.

The lame man leaping, the deaf man hearing, the dumb man singing, the dead rising, these, again, were proofs that he was the “power of God.” When the voice of Jesus startled the shades of Hades, and rent the bonds of death, with “Lazarus come forth!” and when the carcase rotten in the tomb woke up to life, there was proof of his divine power and godhead.

A thousand other proofs he afforded; but we need not stay to mention them to you who have Bibles in your houses, and who can read them every day. At last he yielded up his life, and was buried in the tomb. Not long, however, did he sleep; for he gave another proof of his divine power and godhead, when starting from his slumber, he affrighted the guards with the majesty of his grandeur, not being held by the bonds of death, they being like green twigs before our conquering Samson, who had meanwhile pulled up the gates of hell, and carried them on his shoulders far away.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father as we face this new week, we seek You in Jesus our Lord and Savior. Lord Jesus because You are the image of the invisible God, and You are the firstborn of all Creation, and by You Lord all things were made, both in Heaven and on Earth, visible and invisible, and You our Lord is before all things and in You Lord Jesus all things are held together.  Lord knowing this we seek a closer walk with You and seek Your divine guidance as we go in Faith and acknowledge You before all and You are our Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Father our Creator in Your Holy Trinity. Lord take this day and make it a day for Your Glory, Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving and the many Visitors coming to this site, Lord bless each and everyone and let Your Word be an Anchor in each of our  lives. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

EVENING:

The Difference of intellectually knowing my Lord or experientially knowing Him… Experience Christ by Living and Learning, Christ must be the Center of my/our Life;

James 2: 14-19

Faith and Deeds

14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”

Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that —and shudder.

By ignoring the Word, and not being Patient, He said “wait on the latter rain and endure the suffering” as He will never let us be Ashamed in Trusting in Him, and only when we try and shortcut His Plan in our lives we express these traits.

To Be still and Know that He is GOD and Continue to work as He said the Harvest is great but the Workers are few...

Conclusion:

To apply the principle of Matthew 23: 12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. And to remind my Brothers in their dedication of doing God’s work, He said… 1 Peter 5:  6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Coming to our Lord:

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." - John 13:34-35

1)  To remain un-shaken remain strong by His Established Love.

2) To be rooted and established in Christ’s Love,

3) To be filled with God’s Holy Spirit,

4) That one must be satisfied and complete in Him,

5) To move towards the full purpose that God intended for us,

6) Let the Power of His Holy Spirit work in us

1 John 4:19

We love Him because He first loved us.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come to thank You for Your Graciousness,  Lord the message is loud and clear as You outlined in Your parable of the Vineyard and the Vine-growers.  Lord Your Grace is all we need as You have granted this to us. Lord today as we look back and reflected on Your love for even those that went against your will Lord, and yet You came and Paid-It-All so that whomsoever call upon You will be saved. Lord Jesus, let your message of Salvation be heard and let the hearers respond by calling so that many will be saved by Your Grace. Lord, we are privileged to serve You and to be a vessel bearing the Water of Life for Your Glory. Lord, bless our Visitors here today as we ask Your Favors to us all be released and we thank You for meeting our needs. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus for Yours are the Kingdom the Power and the Glory now and forevermore... Amen. .

Morning:

Focus:   "Wantrepreneur” a buzzword for 2015… this defines a wannabe, someone that wants to start a business but never do…

Entrepreneur is defined as one that operates a business starting with considerable initiative and risk. The disciples could be described as a wantrepreneur and sort of an entrepreneur as they wanted be more like Jesus. But they were also entrepreneurs as they took considerable risks and the applying of initiative was mostly directed by the Lord.

TEXT: Mark 6:8 And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse: In Context | Full Chapter

Jesus sent the disciples out…

And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;

And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:

But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.

10 And he said unto them, In what place whosoever ye enter into a house, there abide till ye depart from that place.

11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Principle:  After asking…Trust Jesus to provide, if you trust Him you are not to worry. If you worry you do not trust Him.

Thoughts for the day: Faith is the cornerstone of knowing that Jesus loves you…

TEXT: Ephesians 2:8-9 New International Version (NIV)

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

Commentary:

Can you imagine it is almost June already, in twenty weekends we will be hearing Christmas Carols.

Thoughts for the day: Is time fleeting-by? Or is it just the same when you were just a kid?

TEXT: Genesis 2 New International Version (NIV)

2 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

Commentary:

Are the days being shortened?  Time is relative to what we do in our lives, a farmer will look at time moving too slowly because his crops and cattle need to mature in a timely cycle.  Growing corn or rearing a flock of chicken, they must run the time-cycle to reach maturity.  To a money lender the days cannot end soon enough so that the interest payment can be collected, and if you are at the paying end, the payment date rolls around so-quickly.

To most of the world’s population we operate by a five-day work week.  Our Lord operates by a six-day workweek.  According to the Bible God took six-days to create the heavens and the earth. Many and scientists will dispute this.  According to the Bible a day in the sight of God is like a thousand-years.

The Factor of man’s Finite capacity, versus the Infinity of God

Reading of man’s attempts to define the time that God took in creating Earth, we reflected on; scientists, theologians, historians and researchers, etc. trying to establish what a ‘Creation Day’ was, was it 24 hours? Or as Peters said a Day is like a thousand years to God. If we were to apply this time line, then the creation would have taken 7,000 Years… What do we think?  We think there is no question that God was able to Divinely create what He wanted and get it done instantly, if there was a 7,000 Year lag time for the creation to be completed, then God would have a lot of workers building the universe and a lot of logistical plan.

This is a fine example of man’s limited capacity using our finite minds, to even question the ability of God and second guessing the duration of time our God took to ‘Speak’ the world into existence.

Among God’s power and His Infinite love for us, is the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus, back in the Old Testament when God ordered the Israelites to mark their door post with the Blood of the Lamb, this protected them from the passing over of the angel of death, the Blood of Jesus serves the same purpose, only that we are individually marked with the Seal of His Blood when we come to Him, and this Seal is His Redemption of us into Live-Everlasting. This ‘Super-Natural’ Atonement by His Blood is another proof of the Infinite Power of God, and His Son Jesus Christ.

EVENING:

“You cannot Test Drive being a Christian to see if you like it or not’

Why? In today’s topic we asked … Are the days are being shortened? For many of us it took a very ‘long’ time to get to that age when we could get our driver’s license.  So what is the next important date is it retirement age, or graduation day?

What a glorious day that will be and what a glorious life we have here at present knowing that the Best is Yet to come.

The Good News is… We can come to Jesus right now, and receive that Assurance, even on your own, all you have to do is…

Pray; Lord Jesus I come knowing that You are God in One of our Creator, and that You have said no one can come to the Father unless through You, and Jesus, here I am to receive You as my Redeemer and I accept You today as the Author and Finisher of my Faith in You Lord Jesus, and I confess my sins and ask that You forgive me and let Your Holy Spirit guide me from here on, Lord I look to you from this day forward knowing that I am now a child of God, and Lord Jesus I am now a Joint Heir with You knowing I am saved by Your Grace Lord Jesus, I pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, take my life and let it be for Your will and to You be the Glory and the Power Lord Jesus, Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we thank You for this privilege of serving You for Your Glory Lord Jesus.  We pray that many may come to You and receive Your Divine Grace. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your blessings on us all as we go in faith knowing that all things work together for those who loves You Lord Jesus.  To You Lord we pray in your matchless name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Ephesians 1:4
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:Ephesians 1:3-5 (in Context) Ephesians 1 (Whole Chapter)

“For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” 2 Timothy 1:12

Charles Spurgeon wrote…..But if you can lay hold on the horns of the altar of God, even Christ, you are most surely safe, and no sword of vengeance can ever reach you. I saw the other day a remarkable picture, which I shall use as an illustration of the way of salvation by faith in Jesus. An offender had committed a crime for which he must die, but it was in the olden time when churches were considered to be sanctuaries in which criminals might hide themselves and so escape. See the transgressor—he rushes towards the church, the guards pursue him with their drawn swords, all athirst for his blood, they pursue him even to the church door. He rushes up the steps, and just as they are about to overtake him and hew him in pieces on the threshold of the church, out comes the Bishop, and holding up the crucifix he cries, “Back, back! Stain not the precincts of God’s house with blood! Stand back!” and the guards at once respect the emblem and stand back, while the poor fugitive hides himself behind the robes of the priest. It is even so with Christ.

The guilty sinner flies to the cross—flies straight away to Jesus, and though Justice pursues him, Christ lifts up his wounded hands and cries to Justice, “Stand back! Stand back! I shelter this sinner; in the secret place of my tabernacle do I hide him; I will not suffer him to perish, for he puts his trust in me.”

TEXT:  Romans 1:28 [Full Chapter]

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Principle:

Commentary: These are the key words that we need to understand:

  • God                        : No one has ever seen God, except Jesus,
  • Incarnate              : Jesus is the Incarnate Son, who is God in One of His Holy Trinity
  • Trinity                    : This is the Triune of Father, Son and Holy Spirit
  • Remission             : To Re-Admit, because mankind was evicted from the Eden, we need to be readmitted
  • Redemption         : To Pay a price to be Redeemed, to ‘Buy-back’
  • Sacrifice                : Jesus made His Sacrifice to Redeem us by His Atoning Blood
  • Divine                    : ‘From God’’
  • Forgiveness         :  No one can forgive ‘Sin’; Sin is an inherent ‘pre-condition’ that we inherited from Adam
  • Grace                    : The Grace of our Lord is what He offered us to be Redeemed
  • Holy Spirit            : The Power of His Holy Spirit will be an In-Dwelling Comforter when we accept Jesus
  • Eternity                 : A place where we will be, in one of two places
  • Damnation           : A Place where one is separated from God forever, and in a state of dying but never dead
  • Splendor               : A state in a place where Jesus described as ‘Paradise’

EVENING:

Cleansed by the Blood is an action of purification done by the High Priest before coming to God.  This is an old tradition done inside what is called the Inner-Sanctum of the Temple.  Jesus said “It-is Finished” and the dividing curtain (Wall) of the Temple was torn revealing Him as our ‘High-Priest’ why? Because His Blood was shed for all, and all that come to Him and accept Him; His Blood becomes His SEAL of Redemption, this is the ‘PAID-IN-FULL” Stamp that He purchased us and we are now aboard with Him and is Heaven bound.

Does this mean that because Jesus died and His blood was shed for us all, and by His action we are ‘automatically’ saved? NO! The parallel is: If someone comes to the door of your house and offer you a pot of Gold but you did not take it, so this person moves on, what happened? You just lost your opportunity.  While the Priceless Gift of Salvation through Jesus is free, unless you accept it you cannot possesses it.

You cannot earn it, purchase it or work your way to get it. It is only by His Grace that we can receive His gift, and it is only in Faith that you can come to Him.

For meditation: We should never be ashamed to be seen hiding behind Jesus (Mark 8:38).

Conclusion:

There’s Hope in Christ….In Him alone Romans 3:25
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— Romans 3:24-26 (in Context) Romans 3 (Whole Chapter)

So Choose where we will spend the glory years of our lives forever… Seek Him while He may be found…

His Faithfulness:

Yes you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

Remember:  Our Lord’s will for us today is: Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

MORNING:

FOCUS:   Sharing His fragrance, by doing this we get some on us and His Fragrance is eternal.

Do not offer your life to God with conditions; He does not accept any ‘Pre- Conditions’

Text:      Romans 12: 1-8 Life in God's Service

12 So then, my friends, because of God's great mercy to us I appeal to you: Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him. This is the true worship that you should offer. Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God—what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect.

And because of God's gracious gift to me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you should. Instead, be modest in your thinking, and judge yourself according to the amount of faith that God has given you. We have many parts in the one body, and all these parts have different functions. In the same way, though we are many, we are one body in union with Christ, and we are all joined to each other as different parts of one body. So we are to use our different gifts in accordance with the grace that God has given us. If our gift is to speak God's message, we should do it according to the faith that we have; if it is to serve, we should serve; if it is to teach, we should teach; if it is to encourage others, we should do so. Whoever shares with others should do it generously; whoever has authority should work hard; whoever shows kindness to others should do it cheerfully.

Commentary:

  • We need to adopt the principles of not trying to save our life for our own goal, but give it with no condition even to death
  • We need to let go and no strings attached so that the Grace of God will take charge of our life
  • This is what we call a living sacrifice

Matthew 25:21
His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Matthew 25:20-22 (in Context) Matthew 25 (Whole Chapter)

Each of us received specific talents, some with the gift of communication, some with music some inventors and some with financial skills, some are leaders and some are followers. Whatever skills we possess we can use it to help others. Our pastor told the story of two friends from school growing up one had an accident that rendered her a paraplegic and the other suffered the same fate, they both came together and instead of saying…”Who will marry us in our present state”? They formed a community project to help other paraplegics. So even when we think we are down and out, there are always others with more challenge than what you face right now.

Fanny Crosby a blind person wrote some of the most beloved hymns with over 100 million copies of her hymns printed.

Albert Einstein is the great scientist of the twentieth century and notable physicist of all time. It is told that he had learning disability in his childhood. He could not talk till he was three and could not read till he was eight. Despite such problems he later became the noble prize winner for his contribution to the Physics.

Thomas Edison is the great inventor who has over 1000 patents and his inventions are in various fields used in our daily life. In his early life he was thought to have a learning disability and he could not read till he was twelve

Helen Keller (Devoted Life to Persons with Disabilities) She was Blind, Deaf, and Mute.

All of the above individuals facing life’s challenges made their mark on earth with significant contribution to mankind, except for Fanny Crosby who set out to give her Lord praises and to share her faith, but while doing this she received the blessing of the fragrance of our Lord. She was admitted to the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. The example of Fanny Crosby above points us to the fact while we spread the fragrance of our Lord, we will also receive His fragrance.  Remember only what’s done for Him will last and only what He builds will last. So let Him build our lives by His Grace, and following our Lord’s commandments, No. 1 To Love Him and No.2 to Love our Neighbors.

The City of Miami, New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Rio, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and here at home Miami Beach are they modern day City of Corinth. And more like Babylon which depicts the decadence of today.

What can we contribute to society, it starts with one person, and the one person that can make a difference is ourselves. It’s like the little boy tossing beached Star Fishes back into the ocean, and a man came and said “what you are doing won’t make a difference”, the boy ignored him and tossed another, and then said, “to this one it makes a difference”. Burying our heads in the sand approach will not accomplish anything; it just takes a small spark to have started the great Chicago fire.  Thousands of acres are still burning across the US-West, guess what? they all started with a small spark or a small flame.

So look around see what talent the Lord gave you, get involved. Bring your ideas to your church; seek others to join you in volunteering to help other. Even visiting nursing homes, hospitals and Children’s home, etc.

His Faithfulness:

Matthew 25: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Matthew 7:22
I Never Knew You

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Conclusion: His Promise:

Right now we can start by praying for our friends in need, our neighbor, and even those that offended you today.  Pray for our nation, our leaders and for our Lord to re-align what may need our Lord’s help; in our schools, our government and even in our churches; Plant seeds by speaking positively, never ‘dumb-down’ or putting down anyone, including yourself, step out in Faith…remembering that negativity only breeds failure, and success breeds success.

Proverbs 6:2 New King James Version (NKJV)

You are snared by the words of your mouth;
You are taken by the words of your mouth.

Prayer:

Father thank You in Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus, thank You for coming and thank you for Your Grace and by Your Divine Resurrection we have Victory in You. Lord as we sow the seeds of Your Righteousness, Lord let in fall on good ground and bear much fruit for Your Glory. Lord we thank You for the thousands that visited this Website as it is for Your Glory to bring many to you Lord. We ask Your blessing upon our Visitors and that all will come to You realizing Your Love and great Salvation through Your Sacrifice. Lord we are humbled by Your UN-Conditional love for us all. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory, Now and forevermore… Amen.

Remember:  Jesus is not the third-party bystander in our Prayers to the Father,  He is our Mediator and without Him no one comes to the Father, therefore we always go to our Father in the Holy Name of our Jesus our Redeemer, It is through His Righteousness that we are able to be presented to the Father.

Our Lord’s will for us today is: Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Morning:

Focus: If you received Ten Million dollars today what would you do? Or a million or even a thousand dollars, how will you use it?

TEXT: 1 Peter 4:10

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. In Context | Full Chapter

On the subject of stewardship and managing what we have.  Today we want to take a look at our possessions, our resources.  We look at the world’s economic conditions and wonder why The USA, France, The UK, Spain, Italy and a few other developed nations and wonder why are these so called world-class economies are awash in debt?  Is it because we spend more than what we take in? Yes, then why are we spending more than what we take in? Is it because China has beaten us at our own game?

Before answering any of the above, let us first read about David when they were about to build the temple….

1 Chronicle 29 New International Version-NIV

David’s Prayer

10 David praised the LORD in the presence of the whole assembly, saying,

   “Praise be to you, LORD,
the God of our father Israel,
   from everlasting to everlasting.
11 Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, LORD, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all.
12 Wealth and honor come from you;
you are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power
to exalt and give strength to all.
13 Now, our God, we give you thanks,
   and praise your glorious name.

14 “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.15 We are foreigners and strangers in your sight, as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope. 16 LORD our God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a temple for your Holy Name comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you. 17 I know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity. All these things I have given willingly and with honest intent. And now I have seen with joy how willingly your people who are here have given to you.  End of Bible Text

Continuing of the subject of Stewardship; Stewardship is defined in the dictionary as…

The action of conducting, supervising, or managing of something; especially: the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care <stewardship of natural resources>

Back to the question at the beginning, what will you use your Gift for? We need to stop and know that HE IS GOD... we need to be good stewards, and the key factors are, responsibility, management with care of what we are entrusted with....just like Jesus said in the following teaching:

Matthew 25:22-23

New International Version (NIV)

22 “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’

23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

                                                                                                †

Continuing the discussion on Stewardship; the text from Matthew 25: 22-23 are direct statements made by Jesus himself. Oftentimes, our Lord spoke using graphic illustrations, and Jesus was laying out a metaphor that He used bags of gold, but in the real world today we could say that the bag of gold is in fact the talent that He entrusted us with.

To be able to gain ‘The Bags of Gold” that our Lord referred to, He said in Matthews 6: 33 Matthew 6:33

New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

As a custodian of what we receive as the Favor of our Lord, we need to continue to ‘Seek’ Him, and by Seeking Him we will ‘Love’ Him and His Love will overflow to others through us.

As Stewards we are just caretakers (Custodians) until we journey on to Glory in His presence, and this point all earthly possessions that we held are left behind.

In the above Scripture, our Lord is not telling us to go and trade Gold, He is saying that we must proclaim the Gospel and bring others to Him, just as He said, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

EVENING:

Conclusion… Lay up treasures in heaven, treasure are defined by extending the Love of Christ to others and to use that ‘Bag of Gold’ which is His Gospel of Good News of His Resurrection from death to life-everlasting, this Good News that He died for our sins so that we can be saved, and only by His Blood of Atonement, a divine action to Redeem us as His Grace extended to us while we are here right now, this grace expires when we dies or when Jesus returns, at any of these events, should one or the other occur before you have accepted Jesus as your Redeemer you will face the wrath of God… While our Lord is a loving God full of compassion, yet the scriptures said; ‘Our God is a God of consuming fire’

To accept Jesus pray in faith and acknowledge that He died and paid the penalty of our Sin. Why did He do this? Because we were born in Sin, from the sin handed down from Adam.  You see we will die, but our soul will live on forever, and Our Lord’s Grace extended here can Redeem us by coming to Him and asking Him to forgive you of your sins, and for Him to be your Redeemer and to be your Sovereign Eternal God, Jesus is One in the Trinity of the Father our Creator and as God in One, Jesus sits of the throne of Righteousness and until that day when we are taken into His Kingdom, He Intercedes for us to His Father, and as we come to Him in prayers, He will guide you and forgive you and as you seek him; His Holy Spirit will fill you and your spiritual walk with Him will grow.

Now as a new person in faith remember to use the “Bag of Gold’ that you will gain to bring others to Jesus, this is the explanation of his story, when He will say… ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

Principle: Luke 16:11

So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? †

Be a good custodian, use your worldly wealth for His Glory, and being a good steward means to be ‘Rich’ in His Holy Spirit by Delighting yourself in our Lord Jesus who makes all things possible for those who love Him.

1 Timothy 6:7 (NKJV) For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity we come. Lord Jesus as we stand before the empty cross Lord, we acknowledge that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and Interceding for us Lord. Thank You Lord Jesus for Your Grace and Your Priceless Gift of Redemption.  Thank You Lord for the opportunity of serving You Lord; and thank You for our Visitors, grants Your blessing on each. Lord bless this day and let it be a day filled with your Peace as we ask Your blessing on us all and Your favors to our Visitors. Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Focus:  Jesus used Lazarus’s death to showcase the Glory of God…How will you use the talent He gave you to give God the Glory?

Jesus dedicated His life for us…

23 Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

TEXT: John 11 [Full Chapter]

[The Death of Lazarus] Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. (This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped his feet with her hair.) So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.”...

Prior to Jesus being called by Mary and Martha to come because of their brother’s sickness, the Jews were trying to stone Jesus,  Jesus however went to see Mary and Martha because the Jews were still gathered at her house mourning Lazarus’ death.  Jesus took the occasion to revive Lazarus and many of his persecutors believed after Lazarus was brought back to life.

The miraculous revival of Lazarus who was dead for four days was an occasion to give The Father the Glory…

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

27 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

This event leading up to Christ’s Crucifixion was the ultimate Sacrifice and giving God the Glory as Jesus died and was resurrected from death, lived among His disciples for 40 days then Ascended into heaven, and just as He said the Father would send a ‘Comforter’ which is The Holy Spirit.

Peter who denied Christ three-times and yet Jesus after rising from the grave, sent a special message to Peter that He went ahead of them to Galilee, as the message said… 7 “But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’”

Mark 16: Jesus Has Risen

16 When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”

But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’”

Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid

Speaking of using one’s talent, Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost and over 5,000 came to Christ.

May 24, 2015 will be the day of Pentecost for 2015…

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

An everlasting Gift of HIS GRACE:” Ephesians 2:8

Verse 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— Verse 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

What do we have here on earth? Life is a Sojourn through this world, all of what we purchase are classified as non-durable and durable goods… but even the durable goods that are manmade; such as a Car, a TV, a Refrigerator they all wear out, nothing that we have is durable, GOLD is, but it was not made by man, Iron and other metal are forged by man, but they all breakdown, just like us, we get older and we suddenly find that we are mere mortals.

So, what we own cannot last, only one thing can last forever, The Love of Christ… and He gave us His Love and Redeemed us so that we can last forever…

Romans 8: 31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is

for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own

Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with

Him, graciously give us all things?

Quote for today: But besides being blind we are also by nature poor. Our father Adam spent our birthright, lost our estates. Paradise, the homestead of our race, has become dilapidated, and we are left in the depths of beggary without anything with which we may buy bread for our hungry souls, or clothing for our naked spirits; blindness and beggary are the lot of all men after a spiritual fashion, till Jesus visits them in love. C.H. Spurgeon

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Seek Him while He may be found, He said today is the day of Salvation.

Jeremiah 33: 3… Call to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

The above text from the New King James Bible said…’Call Me’  just thing we do not need a smart phone or an internet connection to be in touch with our Lord, so He said “Call Him”, His is Omniscient, Omnipresence and Omnipotent and He will hear us.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity we come. Lord Jesus thank You for interceding as our sole Mediator between us and the Father. Lord today we affirm that no one comes to the Father unless through You. Lord Your Unconditional love for us overwhelms us as we stand in Awe of Your Majestic Power knowing that You Lord spoke all things into existence but You made use with Your hands and breathed life into us. Lord we thank you for Your Redemption and by Your Grace we can look to that day when we shall see you as you are. Lord bless our Visitors and grant Your Favors to all. Lord let all who seeks You be at peace knowing that they have Victory in You. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Focus:  The beginning of Christianity destined for Ethiopia began with one man and the Spirit of the Lord

Just like reading the Bible, the non-Believer will not get the real meaning until the Holy Spirit is indwelling in that person then the Word of God becomes real.

TEXT: Acts 8:27

So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means “queen of the Ethiopians”). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship, In Context | Full Chapter

Philip and the Ethiopian

26 Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” 27 So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian[a] eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means “queen of the Ethiopians”). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship, 28 and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the Book of Isaiah the prophet. 29 The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.”

30 Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked.

31 “How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

32 This is the passage of Scripture the eunuch was reading:

“He was led like a sheep to the slaughter,
and as a lamb before its shearer is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
33 In his humiliation he was deprived of justice.
Who can speak of his descendants?
For his life was taken from the earth.”[b]

34 The eunuch asked Philip, “Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?” 35 Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.

36 As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?”[37] [c] 38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.

39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing. 40 Philip, however, appeared at Azotize and traveled about, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea.

Principle: The Holy Bible is the Best Selling Book of all times; is it also the most read book?  Is your Bible gathering dust? Why is this book the biggest seller of all times?

Text:  Romans 8: 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Commentary:  Someone said, when going hunting we must take our own gun, so when going to church we should take our own Bible, why? Using someone else’s weapon is not as good as using your own.

How awesome to serve our Lord, A God with No Beginning and No Ending… Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. - Proverbs 3:5-6

How can we focus of the teaching of our Lord without the Bible?  Many will purchase a Bible and not read it. It contains the Word of God, it is not to be treated like The Ark of the Covenant, it is not a decorative item, the Bible is used for the presidential Swearing-in and taking oath of offices, It is like a bag of Seeds, unless you open it up and retrieve the seeds and plant it, there will be no reproduction.

A little boy found the Family Bible and came to his mom and said… “Mommy, this belongs to God, let’s give it back to him as we do not use it”  Are we spiritual babes? Needing milk or food of substance?

Principle:  The Word of God is a ‘Two-Edged’ Sword’   how many ‘notches’ do you have on your weapon?  Jesus said…”Follow me and I will make you fishers of men”

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Over 2,713 years ago God spoke through Isaiah the Prophet giving His assurance to His people… “The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your soul in drought and strengthen your bones, you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose water do not fail”… Isaiah 58:14

Remember the Bible is all about Jesus, without Him there was nothing made and with Jesus all things are held together.  On the Day of The Lord (Man has a saying… “When all hell breaks loose”) all things will become ‘Un-Glued’; The Bible states… But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up, 2 Peter 3: 10

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we reflect upon You our King who suffered and died in our place, Lord Your Divine Gift of Your Precious Blood as our Seal of Redemption we accept Lord.  Father we thank You for sending Your Son Jesus who sits at Your Right-Hand Father and Jesus our Messiah we thank You for being our Mediator to The Father.  Lord we praise You and we thank You for our Visitors as we ask Your blessings on us all, Lord we thank You for the privilege to bring Your Good News of Your Resurrection to the world, and to you Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Morning:

Focus:   Starting Strong is good but finishing strong is what counts…

Taken from Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Poem… “Sands of Time”

  Trust no Future, howe'er  pleasant!

Let the dead Past bury its dead!

Act, — act in the living Present!

        Heart within, and God o'erhead!

Lives of great men all remind us

We can make our lives sublime,

    And, departing, leave behind us

        Footprints on the sands of time;

    Footprints, that perhaps another,

        Sailing o'er life's solemn main,

    A forlorn and shipwrecked brother,

        Seeing, shall take heart again.

Let us, then, be up and doing,

        With a heart for any fate;

    Still achieving, still pursuing,

Learn to labor and to wait.

Longfellow wrote about life….    Life is real!   Life is earnest!  And the grave is not its goal;   Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.

For many who did leave their ‘footprints’ on the sands of time… we can say one that started weak but ended strong would have been Albert Einstein that starting speaking at the age of four, but his theory of relativity gave us an insight to  Einstein's mathematicshttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png, space has three dimensions, and the fourth dimension is time.

Key notes: The sands of time were never impacted like footsteps of our Lord Jesus.

As we reflect on the Shroud of Turin, which defies all claim that this is a forgery.  It is the most researched, tested and examined of any artifact in the history of mankind.  Yet the findings are consistent to the wounds of our crucified Jesus.

Our finite mind cannot reconcile the Creation, as God said… Let there be Light and there was light.  And this was His Son Yeshua (Jesus).  What a privilege that we have to be given the ‘Gospels’ and the revealing of the Birth of Christ and His Crucifixion and His Divine Resurrection.

TEXT: Matthew 27:54

When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!” In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary:

The opportunity we have today to know the Lord and the Grace of our Lord Jesus is freely given but we must receive Him and ask to be saved.

Look at what Christ did for us…

Yet in all of what our Lord endured, His love for us abounds and He said… ‘Father forgive them for they do not know what they.    Because the Goodness of our Lord was revealed for our sins as he took our place on the cross. Praise our Lord Jesus for His Divine Grace and His Divine Resurrection to Live-Everlasting. Because He lives we shall also live in Him eternally!

Romans 5 New International Version (NIV)

Peace and Hope

1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Morning:

Focus:              If we keep His greatest commandments and abide by them… It is like counting the pennies and the Dollar will be OK.

A little spark can start a fire, the rudder a small device for governing, directing, or guiding a course, as a leader or principle. The tongue is a small organ that can be used to express our love for others as well as to inflict insults and pain to others.

TEXT: James 3:5New International Version (NIV)

Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.

Jesus warned of the leavening (Yeast) Matthew 13: 33 He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds[b] of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

1 Corinthians 5:6

Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough?

In Context | Full Chapter

The analogy of a ‘little-yeast’ relates to a little sin, by yielding to the temptation, we will allow that little impurity to penetrate our minds and then the sin will overtake your heart.

Why the ‘Heart’ is oftentimes mentioned?  Because the heart is the center of our emotions, our eyes is the light to our body our brain is the processor of what we see and our heart will control our reaction.  This is why the Lie-Detector called a Polygraph, it is a devise that records multiple (Poly) reactions including heart rate, blood pressure, stress and other form of reaction to a series of questions. But the Heart is the central point that control your pulse rate etc.

Principle:

Commentary:

What is a ‘Break-through’ Prayer? Our Lord spoke of many that Prayed, and He warned about using repetitious phrases and praying  like many ceremoniously… One of the Prayers mentioned in the Bible is a short and direct sincere Prayer…’Lord Save me a Sinner’.

Genelle Guzman-McMillan the last survivor from the World Trade Towers, her prayer was answered while trapped on the 13th floor in the rubble that fell on her. Genelle’s story has been featured in many publication of her prayers being answered and her miraculous rescue and recovery and becoming a born-again Christian. She tells the story of being found after pushing her hand through  an opening and some one held unto her, he told her that his name was Paul and he won’t let go of her until they get her out, she had an instant calmness even being semi buried.  After her rescue and meeting the crew of rescuers, she asked for Paul and they said they had no one with the name of Paul, Genelle tried to find Paul but he never stepped forward, she had given her life to Christ while buried in the rubble, and now realized her rescue was for a purpose and her faith in Christ led her to know that her miraculous rescue by ‘Paul’, finding her was a mission from God hearing her ‘Break-Through’ Prayer in her time of need..

Prayer is the cornerstone of all events in our lives, when Jesus took the five loaves and two Fishes, He looked up to Heaven and Prayed… Matthew 14:  19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV

.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Conclusion:

The Bible said...

2 Corinthians 8:9

New International Version (NIV)

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

His Faithfulness:

As we look back to the day of His Crucifixion, Jesus died willingly, as He said…

53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? Matthew 26:53 New International Version (NIV)

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Romans 5:10 New International Version (NIV)

10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

Hebrews 12:: 23-29 New International Version (NIV)

23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

Conclusion:

The Death of Jesus on the Cross:

Mark 15: 37 With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last.

38 The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. 39 And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, saw how he died, he said, “Surely this man was the Son of God!”

The Resurrection of Jesus from death:

Mark 16: 1-7

New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Has Risen

Prayer:

Heavenly Father It is with Awe that we come knowing Jesus our Redeemer rose triumphantly and sits on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity of our Father and the Holy Spirit, we come today knowing that we serve You our Living God who is Lord of lords and King of kings and You Jesus our Messiah is our Salvation.  Lord today as we go forward in Faith, grant us Your Favors and equip us as we seek to serve You and are privileged to be a Vessel bearing your Word of Life. Lord bless the visitors coming to this website and let Your Peace be upon all, as all we do is for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for:  Thursday May 7, 2015

Morning:

Focus: Stop looking for the winning lotto number, you are already ‘Rich’ in Christ when you know Him… Jerimiah 29: 11-12

TEXT: Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16 NIV

Jeremiah 29:11-12New International Version (NIV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

We all have a Rich Father and a Rich Brother in Heaven…

What is His name?  His name is Emanuel… How rich is He? His riches span the universe and His holdings are larger than all those listed in the Forbes list.

He holds more patents of inventions, He owns more real estate than even the largest land owners, He operates more hospitals than the largest healthcare giants, and He is more powerful than the largest government of our time.

What can His riches do for us?  He rented His property to us and entrusted us with the use of His holdings,  You see, we are just mere ‘Occupants’ as we all have some times or the other received mails addressed to ‘Dear Occupants’.  Our rich Father knows us by name, and calls us by name, and made us stewards over many things until we leave this earth.

He offers us not just the use of His properties, but He wants us to be blessed and to have abundance of Joy and have “JOY” therefore; all of our needs are met and we shall lack nothing

What’s in a name, His name is Emanuel, the meaning of this name is; ‘God with us”

You may ask:

  • Who is this Brother that I do not know?
  • When did He know me?
  • How do I know if He is real?
  • How can I get in touch with Him?
  • How can I receive their Blessings?
  • How do I prepare to meet this Ultra-Rich Father?
  • Whom should I call?
  • And where must I go to meet my long lost Rich Father?

We have provided the answer to the set of questions above… read on and you will find Him and He will extend to you His helping hands… Who is this Father that I do not know?

His name is our Creator… The Sovereign God; King of kings, and He is Eternal and though His Son Jesus ‘The Christ’, read  Isaiah 9: 6 (Written 700+ years before Jesus was born 2015 years ago…

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,

and the government will be on his shoulders.

And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Jesus came into this world by way of a Virgin Birth, an event that has never been repeated.

When did He know me? Before you were born He knew you,

Psalms 139:  New International Version (NIV)

13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

How do I know if He is real?

The world did not just happen; science and man still do not understand many things, the grand design of His Creation and His super-natural being, Jesus  born of a Virgin, died and rose by a divine resurrection is as real as real can be.

John 1 NIV  The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Hebrews 1 NIV God’s Final Word: His Son

1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

Colossians 1 New International Version (NIV)  The Supremacy of the Son of God

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Jesus the Great High Priest

Hebrews 4:14-16 New International Version

14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

How can I get in touch with Him?

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV

Prayer: (Psalm 8 A psalm of David.)

1 Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You have set your glory in the heavens.

2 Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.

3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,

4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?[c]

5 You have made them[d] a little lower than the angels and crowned them[f] with glory and honor.

6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their[g] feet:

7 all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild,

8 the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea,  all that swim the paths of the seas.

9 Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Father in You we have Victory because of Jesus our Redeemer, Lord bless our Visitors and grant us Your Grace… Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy Name and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Focus: We can trust God when He said “My plan is to prosper you and not to harm you”

TEXT: Jerimiah 29: 11-13… 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Principle:  We cannot change our heart’s desire, only Christ can do this as we are weak, and it only by His Grace that we can be transformed… Just like reading the Bible, the non-Believer will not get the real meaning until the Holy Spirit is indwelling in that person then the Word of God becomes real.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV

:             Our Lord is the Same Yesterday, Today & Eternally

Text:                Genesis 1:26

New King James Version (NKJV)

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Commentary:

Jesus our Lord and Savior was there at the beginning of it all. In Genesis (The Beginning) we read in Genesis 1: 26, God was referring to Jesus His Son and His Holy Spirit, when He said “Let Us” Create…In Jeremiah 29 above, we read that God told the Exiles (Israelites in Babylon) how He would proper them…. Our Lord is telling us the same things today, as we are in a place similar to Babylon, but just as He was telling them He would repatriate them to their Land… Verse 11: 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

Factually we are in Exile here on earth as our fore-parents were exiled from the Garden of Eden… the  Scriptures from the beginning of the Bible is all about our well-being, God created it all for us, as He gave us humans dominion over it all…. Humans during our exiles over the centuries done both good and bad to their fellowmen, many were good custodians, and we can pick for today’s review Milton Hershey the Chocolate industrialist, as he and his wife Catherine had a great deal of compassion on the less fortunate, and even today we have people of such standing considered good stewards through their philanthropic foundations, Another would be Joseph Pew, the PEW Charitable Foundation, and on the flip sides we can name a few rouges that have impacted humanity to the extent of atrocity to the human race, one that would top the list would be Schickelgruber later known as Adolph Hitler.

To regain those he loves, God sent His Son Jesus, The Christ, and our Messiah and through His Death at Calvary He vanquished the enemy… Sin… that first placed us into Exile, but God loved us so much that He redeemed us.   Now that he had Paid-It-All, we can by His Blood be Redeemed and we will be taken to the Restored Eden.

While we reflected on the goodness of those blessed by our Lord and those that rendered the atrocity, both of these; good and bad are still ‘Sinners’ as we are the offspring’s of our exiled parents. This is the only reason why Jesus Christ came to Redeem us.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

The Bible said… Ephesians 2:8-9

New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

His Promise:

The essence of God is his Power
Elohim – God Supreme, read about His supremacy in

John 1

New King James Version (NKJV)

The Eternal Word

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

  1. Colossians 1: 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
  2. Hebrews 1:  God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Prayer: Heavenly Father today we come in Jesus our Lord and Savior Your Son; and our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity. Lord we give You preeminence in our lives and look to You for Your Grace, Your Blessings and Your divine guidance today as we go in Faith.  Lord bless all Visitors to this Website which is for Your Glory as we are privileged to serve You and bring Your Good News to many.  We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Tuesday May 5, 2015

MORNING:

The Good News for today are:

Focus:   “The battle is not yours, but God’s. … Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.”

Text: “Do not be terrified. … The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you” (Deuteronomy 1:29-31).

“All this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47).

Commentary:   Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking:  “ASK” Luke 11: 9-12

“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

Note: Philippians 4: 6 (The Amplified New Testament)

Verse 6: Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition (a defined request) with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God.

Notice the key words are:

  • Do not fret
  • Every circumstance
  • By Prayer & Petition
  • With Thanksgiving
  • Continue your request to God

Give thanks to our Faithful Lord and Savior as He provides all our needs: Philippians 4:19 New International Version (NIV)

Live by the principle of… Spiritual maturity is developed by holding unto a FAITH that is FIRMLY ANCHORED IN CHRIST; and knowing that we are never on our own because Jesus is our High Priest.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Things to know that in the realms of reality, right now is what counts; not yesterday, nor tomorrow, for we know…“Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Is anyone facing the need for His Supplication? Money, Loneliness, Family’s faith, Concerns for our future & seeking a closer walk with the Lord? All the answers lie in Jesus our Redeemer, as He knows what we have need of; all we have to do is ‘ASK’ in HIS Name…

John 16: 24 New International Version (NIV)

24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

Jesus said in Faith ASK, and Ask in His Name with Thanksgiving, believing you will be receiving your petition…

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

1 Peter 5:7 New International Version (NIV)

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Remember Jesus loves you, and knowing this to be the Truth, You should not be in need…

Just like Psalm 23 said… A psalm of David.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
    he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign eternal God in One of the Father in Your Holy Trinity, Lord we Praise You and give You our all as we are privileged to serve You Lord. Lord bless this day as we look to You in Faith and thank You for the visitors coming to this Good News site for Your Glory. Devotionals for:  Monday May 4, 2015

Morning:

Focus: Start the week with Optimism… why there’s so many doom & gloom messages backed by the news around the world?

What sells newspaper?  Among the top issues; are war, weather, disaster, money and crime, In a list of 19 categories, and "celebrity scandals" and Cartoons…

The message which is the Gospel is the Good-News… The Love of God is stronger, greater than anything that we could ever do, all He asks of us is to come to Him and receive His Salvation, giving us the privilege of being saved by his Grace, not of anything that we do or can do, as it is only by His Grace we are saved and not of our selves.

TEXT: Romans 5 New King James Version (NKJV)

Faith Triumphs in Trouble

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Commentary:

In life we have some circle of influence though some connections of one form or the other. In this world of ‘Social Networking’ the chain of friendship spans the global landscape.  The meaning of ‘Friend’ has become so over-used it is now meaningless in some instances. What is a Friend?  It is said a friend is one that is closer than a brother.

Oneness in Christ can be through any of the following:

  • Our Prayer time with our Lord
  • Community Worship at Church
  • Giving Thanks at Dinner
  • Bible Study
  • Meeting with friends or even with  strangers in spreading His message
  • Engaged in His mission

Not too long ago we spoke about the human traits of how ‘Familiarity breeds contempt’ this is not always true, but most times man has fallen victim to this. We see this even with relationship between man and God; from Kings to individuals, such as Adam & Eve. Why? By losing the focus of the Supremacy of the Almighty God, the kindness of God is too often taken for granted. Today in our society kindness is too often taken for ‘weaknesses’

We need to start at the Beginning… “In the Beginning GOD created the Heavens and the Earth’. Now this sets Him apart from us, He is not our ‘Peer’ He is the Almighty, and He needs nothing from us, but He loves us so much that He redeemed us and those that receive Him will be with Him in a place of Splendor forever.

His Promise:

Though our Lord Jesus His ‘Circle of Influence’ we gain His Influence, as we read the Gospels and the Scriptures written by His Disciples, His brothers and the Prophets, we get to know Him (Jesus) through the inspired Word… How is this? Jesus himself said when he ascended to the Father He would send The Holy Spirit as evidenced on the day of Pentecost.

Therefore our ‘Circle of Influence’ from the Written Word is the positive influence leading us to Jesus our Lord and Savior.  When we come to Jesus and accept Him we receive His Seal of Redemption, and His Holy Spirit will come and dwell in us. He also said our bodies are ‘Living-Temples’. What a privilege He has given us.

His Faithfulness:

Christ in Our Place - Romans 5: 6-8

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Why do we need Jesus to ‘Die’ for us? First; that without the shedding of Blood there is no Remission of Sis… It is like Jesus giving us a cure for Cancer… secondly; we are all born with Sin, just like we are born with a small percentage of cancer that our body fights.

What we see about ‘Death’ that there is really no permanent death, our ‘Tent’ (bodies) die, but our Soul lives on and those in Christ will live in a permanent place of Splendor that He has prepared for us all; who have received Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

Hebrews 9:27
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, Hebrews 9:26-28 (in Context) Hebrews 9 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:

Judgment, a threatening word is mentioned in the Bible 294 times, therefore it must be an important event that our Lord has in store for us, but He provided a way for us to have a reprieve from his Judgment, in Romans 8: 1….

Romans 8:1

New King James Version (NKJV)

Free from Indwelling Sin

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. What Good News this is, from our Lord himself…

Prayer:

Thank You Father for providing Your Circle of Influence through Your Word of Life, which gave us Your enlightenment by Your Grace.  Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Eternal Sovereign God in Your Holy Trinity; we Praise You Lord and thank You for Your Graciousness and Your Saving Grace. Lord bless our Visitors today and give us Your messages to bring many to You Lord. We pray in Your precious name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Morning:

Focus: A] Seek The Lord, b] Know The Lord, c] Love The Lord, d] Obey The Lord, e] Worship The Lord and know that He is GOD

Choosing to Trust, Choosing to Love,  Choosing to Live, this was later affirmed by Jesus Himself when He said, I came that you may have an abundant Life and that you will have it ‘More’ Abundantly.  When Jesus said I no longer call you ‘Servants’ but ‘Friends’ this was the greatest privilege granted to mankind.

TEXT: Which Is the First Commandment of All?

Matthew 22:

34 But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”

37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’[d] 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[e] 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Principle when we trust in the word of God we find the strength and courage to persevere in life.
We must-have faith in the General for his strategy... Trust in God because He is Omniscient and His plans for us is to prospers us as He is Supreme…

His Redemption:

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 NIV

Our Faith, our Walk and His warning….

Text:

1 John 4:8-9

New International Version (NIV)

8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

Commentary:

God in His infinite power of Light & Love, He did revealed His love for us in the Divine Gift of His Son.  In Jesus Christ God came to us in the fullness of His Grace.  He came that we might receive His pardon by His Atonement for our sins, and save us from everlasting destruction.  One might say, how do we have the authority of making this statement of Everlasting Destruction?  Because we are simply repeating the Word of God, as He said we are Created in His Likeness, and He also said that it is appointed unto man to die and after that there is a Judgment… God is never wrong, and these two statements affirmed that we will live forever.

The Love of God found its fullest expression in the Cross, where the Lord Jesus bore the judgment for our sins, meaning that he stood in our place, and by His Crucifixion, He paid It All, and by His Blood of Atonement, we are able to receive His SEAL of Salvation.

Christian families are sometimes susceptible to seeing the grass being ‘Greener’ on the other side… thankfully new regulation has allowed Home-Schooling in today’s society. ‘Home-Schooling’ practice is growing across our nation, and gained popularity because it enables families to safeguard the values, morals and joy of learning that focus on the child’s abilities to progress at a pace without the distraction of other schoolmates; which in some instances some may be slow learners or sometimes disruptive.

Therefore kids in home schooling are not susceptible to peer pressure to participate in the ‘greener-Grass syndrome’ We could say that the Disciples of Christ were more or less ‘Home-Schooled’ as we do not read where any of the 12 (or rather the eleven) were taught in any formal place of education or even being a member of a temple or synagogue. Was our Lord leading His disciples away from the masses applying His teaching of not to be unequally yoked?

Paul who wrote a greater portion of the New Testament was also an unlearned person, but he was chosen by Jesus that made him a ‘Vessel’ for the Good News to bring the gospel to the Gentiles.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Considering the ultimate Gift being Life-Everlasting, therefore make every provision to guard this prize knowing…our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 3: 20 NKJV

Our Lord died once and was raised from the dead, He rose triumphantly, ascended to heaven and sits on the throne of Righteousness. Just as when you come to Christ and receive Him, you received His Grace, His Grace is ‘Forever’ when you faithfully, Sincerely,  confess your sins and ask His to be Lord of your life; you will be forgiven and knowing Jesus you are now counted among the living.  Yet we are still sinners, but now under His Grace. Read Romans 6:15-23

Principle:  Live by His precepts as He said… Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6: 33 NKJV

EVENING:

Conclusion:

Romans 5 Good News Translation (GNT)

Right with God

5 Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 He has brought us by faith into this experience of God's grace, in which we now live. And so we boast of the hope we have of sharing God's glory! 3 We also boast of our troubles, because we know that trouble produces endurance, 4 endurance brings God's approval, and his approval creates hope. 5 This hope does not disappoint us, for God has poured out his love into our hearts by means of the Holy Spirit, who is God's gift to us.

6 For when we were still helpless, Christ died for the wicked at the time that God chose. 7 It is a difficult thing for someone to die for a righteous person. It may even be that someone might dare to die for a good person. 8 But God has shown us how much he loves us—it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us! 9 By his blood we are now put right with God; how much more, then, will we be saved by him from God's anger! 10 We were God's enemies, but he made us his friends through the death of his Son. Now that we are God's friends, how much more will we be saved by Christ's life! 11 But that is not all; we rejoice because of what God has done through our Lord Jesus Christ, who has now made us God's friends.

Conclusion:

The Bible said...

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord today as we go in faith trusting You and thanking You for Your Divine Grace Your Unconditional Love and Your Gift of Redemption, we are privileged to be in Your presence. Lord You have made it possible for us all to look to that day when we shall see You as You are; knowing that our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await your return Lord Jesus. We honor You Lord with our possessions as it is all Yours Lord and we bring You the First-Fruits of all our increase. Lord thank You for Your Providence as we seek You first knowing that You have Paid-It-All. Lord be with our Visitors and grant each Your favors as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Morning:

Focus: Knowing and living by God’s Word is a matter of life and death

Why is it a matter of life and death? What is God WORD? The answer is rather ‘Who’ is God’s Word…

TEXT:  John 1:14

[The Word Becomes Flesh] And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. In Context | Full Chapter

‘The Word’…  God spoke many words, but there was ‘One-Word’ that was unique above all that he spoke, and this was His Son, not the ‘Sun’ as His SON Yeshua (Jesus) appeared on  the first day of His Divine Creation…

The first Command from God was “Let there be light” and this Light is Jesus, as He appeared before the Sun which was created on the fourth day.

Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;

How strong is your faith?  The Bible said from the beginning of it all, Yeshua-Jesus was there on the first day… and as declared in:

Colossians 1: 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

John 1 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Eternal Word

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend[a] it.

John’s Witness: The True Light

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. [b]

10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own,[c] and His own[d] did not receive Him.12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

The Word Becomes Flesh

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’”

16 And[e] of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, [f] who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

His Faithfulness:

Let us discuss the Factor of LIFE… A life without Christ is an ending that will be void of ‘Life’ what do we mean, to deny Christ and be un-saved that person will be in a state of dying but never dead, but wishing to be dead as described by Jesus Himself…

Because of Jesus’ Divine sacrifice for us, as the Unblemished Lamb of God… we through His Grace are saved…

Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

EVENING:  Action/Coming to our Lord:

Colossians 1:  Reconciled in Christ

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—

Know that nothing we own on this planet will be of any value on that fateful day… by our Faithful Lord and Savior has prepared a place for those who ‘Know’ Him…

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”  In Context | Full Chapter |

John 1: 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Prayers: Father in Heaven, in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus today as You are God in One of the Father as it pleased the Father that in You Lord Jesus dwells the fullness of the Father that we have Peace through Your Blood we are no longer alienated and are made one in the as You have presented through Your Holiness and are Redeemed by Your Grace. Lord You have said… all those who believe in You Lord Jesus are now born by the will of God and You Lord has the right to make us children of God.  Lord Jesus thank you and we thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your Divine blessings on us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…

Morning:

Focus: His Faithfulness assures He will accomplish His purposes for His People… Are we His people?

The Mission of Jesus Christ:

TEXT: Ephesians 1: 11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

We are to gather in the Body of Christ, and in To SEEK the Kingdom of GOD!...To Walk in Faith, knowing that the Kingdom of God goes forth in TRUTH & POWER With JESUS at the Throne, knowing that Jesus is in Charge. The Solution is not More Religion, but More of Christ's

Principles:  The Bottom line is… We are either going for the Kingdom of GOD, or to a God Forsaken place, so Choose JESUS.  The descendent of HIS Holy Spirit was revealed in the Book of ACTS: Acts 2: 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

Have Faith in Jesus our Redeemer and our Advocate, and also as a Friend, and by being joint Heir, I can trust Him knowing, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Hebrews 13: He said come to Him Boldly as HE sits on the Throne of Righteousness. To Boldly Proclaim Jesus, and also to identify that I am Son of the Most High.

Today we are just like the Diaspora, but instead of the transplanted Jews from Jerusalem, we are in America a land that is similar to Corinth comprising all “Foreigners” but thanks to the Grace of our Lord in Timothy 1: 8 We are saved by Grace for Obedience Verse 3 Praise to God for a LIVING HOPE

Christian Living….Holiness this is a tall order in a world like ours, but knowing that I (we) shall be like Jesus, for when we shall see Him as He is, 1 John 3:2..and 1 Peter 2 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Changes for me to know that: 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Ephesians 1 New International Version (NIV)

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,

To God’s holy people in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise for Spiritual Blessings in Christ

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment —to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Trusting God and knowing Him leads to:

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear (loves) Him, and delivers them (you)... Oh, fear the Lord, you saints! There is no want to those who fear Him… Psalm 34: 7, 9 NKJV

The bible refer to believers as ‘Saints’ through Jesus Christ our Lord we have this privilege of receiving His Salvation by His Grace. Fortunately, no one can buy or earn His Salvation, otherwise heaven would be a place full of ‘boastful’ people. We are saved by His Grace and not of anything we do or can do.

When we have the knowledge of His Good News that He died and Rose Triumphantly and ascended to heaven where He said He went to prepare a place for you (if you know Him) what a privilege of being in touch with the Most-High at this moment. He said come to Him and He will give you rest.

The Christian life is full of Joy… Following Christ is what ‘Christianity’ means; and in Jesus we have that Victory and being filled with His Holy Spirit (His Comforter) we have the JOY.  Knowing that Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and forever… we have His assurance of Heaven to be a real place where Jesus is King of His Kingdom.

Right now you can speak with the King of kings, you do not have to wait to get to heaven… you have access to Jesus because he said “Come unto me”.

EVENING:

Today we asked… other than our Lord, who else is trustworthy? The old hymn ‘Trust & Obey’ to some may be just an old hymn from another century, but the factual statement that this old hymn said…’There’s no other way’ and this is anchored by Jesus own statement; “No one comes to the Father unless through Him” no not Buddha, not Mohammed, not St. Peter or the church.

So we have this open invitation to come to Jesus...

Luke 5:32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Luke 5:31-33 (in Context) Luke 5 (Whole Chapter)

Jesus is actually calling each of us by name… what is your name or mine?  ‘Sinners’

In that great reunion there will be many missing… because Matthew 22: 23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. 24 Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!

Romans 10:13 New King James Version (NKJV)

13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Matthew 22: 37 Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Prayer:

Prayer:   Father in Heaven in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus we Praise You as our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Divine Trinity of Your Father and the Holy Spirit.  Lord we commit into Your hands this day as we go forth in Faith knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord by Your Resurrection which is the Good News of You conquering death; and by Your Salvation we are privileged to receive Your Grace and peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord thank You for opening the doors so that our Visitors will come and be blessed as we do all for Your Glory Lord. We Praise You and lift You up before all knowing that we will never be ashamed of trusting in You my Lord Jesus.  In Your name we pray Lord Jesus and to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.
