Beware… Do not cast your pearls before swine… Be not unequally yoked, Darkness and Light cannot coexist.

These saying are not intended to invoke a superiority stance over non-believers, nor is it intended for us to judge others. Jesus said this because He knew the consequences and outcome of being unequally yoked.

The description of unequally ‘Yoked’ is to physically place a horse and goat hitched to a wagon.  Or trying to run a race between a championship stallion against a donkey.  Christians are special as they are called and set aside by the Blood of Christ.

Casting your ‘Pearls’ before swine is another metaphor used by our Lord… It is like taking a Stradivarius Violin and playing the best piece of music before a heard of pigs. What may happen, for one, they would not be listening, they would continue to splash in the mud and the herd may turn and trample you.

So, today as we are among unbelievers, we will bear this warning in mind.  Yet Jesus said… We are to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth, and He will be with us till the end of time… Matthew 28:20

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Matthew 13:49

This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous

So, when you feel trampled by the world, Jesus made this most astounding statement… “I am not of this World”

John 8:23

But he continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

Jesus’ Faithful Promise of His return.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17New International Version (NIV) In Context | Full Chapter |

15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Let us focus on Jesus because He is the Light, Ezekiel 1:28

Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking. In Context | Full Chapter |

Just like when Jesus asked…Whom do you seek? When He answered, “I Am” He, they all fell back, this was a contingent of Romans soldiers of about 500 strong, they all fell.  So, today we praise our Majestic Redeemer who is God in One of the Father.

Come to our Lord Jesus and asked to be Saved by His Grace, Confess that you are a Sinner, as we are all sinners, and He will forgive you. Ask that His Holy Spirit be in you, as all Believers are made a ‘New Creation’ and the Power of God will resonate through you as you will experience His Gift of Life. Walk with our Lord Jesus, as all relationships must be nurtured, ask Jesus to lead you and to open your eyes and learn His WORD, Study the Bible, join a Bible Study* group, attend a Bible Based Church** and grow in His Grace.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus Messiah… Thank You for this privilege knowing that by Your Blood of Redemption we are saved from the wrath of God.  Thank You Lord for our Visitors and Your Divine Blessings on us all. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore … Amen.

Devotionals for Monday: May 29, 2017

What did we fight for: All that glitter is not gold.  The dog and the bigger bone? so, stay focused, stay the course.

Remembrance Day, U.S. Memorial Holiday, remembering those that gave their ultimate for freedom.

Defending Freedom is one thing, but fighting for territorial control or to gain resources is another agenda… sometimes we need to stop and think is it going to be worth it at the end?

A Dog, to whom the butcher had thrown a bone, was hurrying home with his prize as fast as he could go. As he crossed a narrow footbridge, he happened to look down and saw himself reflected in the quiet water as if in a mirror. But the greedy Dog thought he saw a real Dog carrying a bone much bigger than his own.

If he had stopped to think he would have known better. But instead of thinking, he dropped his bone and sprang at the Dog in the river, only to find himself swimming for dear life to reach the shore. At last he managed to scramble out, and as he stood sadly thinking about the good bone he had lost, he realized what a stupid Dog he had been.

Defending Freedom is the purpose of our armed-forces, all categorized as “Defense” and ‘Defense’ is the core of our military forces.

Remembering the Men and Women who served is the order of the day, and remembering the mercies of our Lord is foremost as all things are done according to His Will.

Let all stop and know that there’s no Pot of Gold at the end of the Rainbow…  so, going to war may be futile, and we all should be thankful for what we have, giving thanks always. Yet there are many oppressed, and exploited, so as a nation we will strive to protect those who are victims of persecution by Prayers and supplication in the Name of the Lord.

Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. In Context | Full Chapter |

Today we are remembering the Victory of our Lord Jesus as He conquered death and Rose triumphantly, ascended to the Father and is on the Throne of Righteousness. Jesus is Preeminent and He is the Great ‘IAM’

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 6:10-18 [Full Chapter] [TheWhole Armor of God]

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ...

EVENING:

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Father we thank You today in Jesus name. Jesus Messiah, we come and Praise You our Sovereign God in One of our Father our Creator and thank You Lord for Your Divine Redemption. Lord just as Jonah relented and was directed to render to the Ninevites Your Salvation. We go forth today bringing Your Good News to the worldwide web Lord we thank You for this privilege, and we ask Your Divine Blessing to our visitors of this Website and Lord grant Your favors to all. We pray in Your precious name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Beware of this… Kindness mistaken for weakness. Remember Jesus loves you, but He is also a God of a consuming fire…

Hebrews 12:29 for our “God is a consuming fire.” In Context | Full Chapter |

MORNING:

The Good News for today are:

Focus: “The battle is not yours, but God’s. … Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.”

Text: “Do not be terrified. … The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you” (Deuteronomy 1:29-31).

“All this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47).

In our lifetime, we all have experienced some degree of mockery, but the worst case of mockery is to have some form of ‘Respect’ for the individual but behind his back we commit things that are offensive to the person.  It is like saying Dear God, I love You and Praise You and I serve You, then in the afternoon we are violating his trust.  This is among the highest form of mockery that we can commit.  But our God who is Omniscience, Omni Potent and all Powerful will not be mocked.  In society, we often misjudge Kindness for ‘Weakness’ Our Lord express such kindness and so many of us take His love for granted.  There is an “Entitlement’ offered by our Lord, and He offered His Love to have made the ultimate Sacrifice for us by granting us His Grace and it is an Entitlement that we must accept.

His Promise:

1 Corinthians 3:16-23

New King James Version (NKJV)

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

His Faithfulness:

1 Peter 2

New King James Version (NKJV)

Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Matthew 5 New International Version (NIV)
Introduction to the Sermon on the Mount

1 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them.

The Beatitudes

    He said: (Jesus direct statement)

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
   for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
   for they will be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
   for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Principle:  Our Lord’s Grace and His Kindness and Graciousness are His gifts to those that serve and place Him first.

Live by the principle of… Spiritual maturity is developed by holding unto a FAITH that is FIRMLY ANCHORED IN CHRIST; and knowing that we are never on our own because Jesus is our High Priest.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Things to know that in the realms of reality, right now is what counts; not yesterday, nor tomorrow, for we know… “Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Is anyone facing the need for His Supplication? Money, Loneliness, Family’s faith, Concerns for our future & seeking a closer walk with the Lord? All the answers lie in Jesus our Redeemer, as He knows what we have need of; all we have to do is ‘ASK’ in HIS Name…

John 16: 24 New International Version (NIV)

24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

Jesus said in Faith ASK, and Ask in His Name with Thanksgiving, believing you will be receiving your petition…

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

1 Peter 5:7 New International Version (NIV)

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus today we thank You for this privilege of being in Your Holy presence. Lord Jesus as You are our Mediator we ask You for Your divine blessings on us all and we thank You for our Visitors as we go in Faith knowing that we have Victory in You because greater is You in us than those of this world.  Lord Your Divine Grace and Your Redemption provide a bountiful future because…all things work together for good as we love You Lord Jesus. Devotionals for Saturday: May 27th, 2017

Try This…   Ending the week, planning ahead, start with saying, Lord… let it be Your Will, try this and see…

His Pre-eminence and His Sovereignty…

He is the Center of It all! He is Foremost, He is Pre-eminent, He is above All

He is the Great ‘I AM’, Everything revolves around HIM Now and Forever…

Text:     John 8:58
“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
John 8:57-59 (in Context) John 8 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary::

The wonder of our Lord’s creation never ceases to amaze us, even the Locust fly in formation and will not wander from their ranks. This is why when they invade a field they can eat the crop down in one swoop eating away a swath of vegetation. To think that these wild insects being so small but with a sense of order; they do not break ranks nor crowd each others, they work as a team.  Christian should adopt the order of God’s smallest insects, just like the Ants they are governed by hierarchy, and are very industrious, the leaf-cutting ants are an example of performing large-scale feats as they carry a leaf at least a hundred times their size.

We are probably the least self-taught of all of God’s creation, we are told what to do, through childcare, KinderCare, grade schools, through to college. Our learning process accounts for a great portion of our lifespan.

Reflecting back to yesterday’s commentary on the bible…

What’s the Bible all about:

  1. It is a Book about God;  In Genesis it documents the Creation of all things by God
  2. It’s a book about Jesus,  He is the center of the it all, In Isaiah the prophecy of Jesus was foretold 700 years before Christ was born.
  3. It’s a Book about Salvation: It is the Word of God, which is sharper than a two-edged sword.
  4. It’s a book about us:  God so loved us that he sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins. The Bible focus on us , and chronologically document the life and times of mankind.
  5. It’s a Book about today: The Bible is full of Prophecies that are being realized during our time, and today we can read the Bible and it is as contemporary within the hour and foretells the future that are unfolding before our eyes.

Man is a unique being, why? Because God gave us dominion over all living beings; but He also gave us a unique ability to ‘Think’ and to have the Power of ‘FAITH’ by His GRACE. Romans 10: 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. And Faith comes by GRACE, as it is by His Grace that we can Hope in Faith knowing that He is God Eternal

Ephesians 2: 4  But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses (Sin), made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. They are no longer strangers and are reconciled to God, and fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

His Faithfulness:

1) That I was bought with a Price,

2) His Blood is the seal of Redemption,

3) I am His Holy Temple and I cannot come to the Father unless by Jesus my Lord and savior

Action:

What a privilege…. To be a Child of God through Jesus that redeemed us, as it is said ‘No one cometh to the Father except through His Son”…. Read this in

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”

Because as a Child of God, we can live triumphantly and be blessed and be given that pathway that is lit by His Light and to drink of the water of Life Everlasting.  What a blessing that He made available and a privilege that we have.

Conclusion:

Romans 8:17
Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
Romans 8:16-18 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:           Father we come in Your Holy presence through Jesus our Redeemer; Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of our Father and Creator, Jesus-Messiah we praise You and lift You up before all.  Lord today we commit into Your hands the order of this day and seek your Holy Spirit to guide our Visitors and us all and we thank You for Your Unconditional Love and Your Redemption through Your Blood of Atonement. Lord Your Grace is all we need as we like Your servant Paul who said, ‘Your Grace is sufficient’. Lord grants us Your peace and leads us to Green Pastures and Still-Water as we journey to You by Your Grace. We thank You for the privilege of being in Your holy presence, we pray in Your precious name Lord Jesus our Redeemer... Amen

Remember…        Good memories are great, forget the bad times, remember God’s forgiveness, you are ‘Freed’

The devil keeps reminding us of our past sin(s).  and the key word here is ‘Past’. Because the Lord said…

He has removed our sin as far as the east is from the west, and He remembers them ‘No-More’

Psalm 103:12

as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. In Context | Full Chapter |

Ephesians 6:11

Directions of how to be accepted, Trained and be Equipped…

Principle:

Nothing we do as ‘Good’ works can earn our way to heaven, as He (Jesus) is the only way and by His Redemption and not of anything we do even what we call Good

Conclusion:

Even Today Christianity is expanded in Russia, as Putin once came to the Kremlin and said.. ‘Stop persecuting the Christians’ they asked him why, was he getting crazy? He said, do a study of who comes to work, they found that the Christians were the loyal workers and the non-Christians seldom show up…

C.S. Lewis the well known Atheist that became a Christian, some of his quotes are featured below:

A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.
C. S. Lewis

Can a mortal ask questions which God finds unanswerable? Quite easily, I should think. All nonsense questions are unanswerable.
C. S. Lewis

Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important.
C. S. Lewis

I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. C. S. Lewis

I gave in, and admitted that God was God.
C. S. Lewis

If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning.
C. S. Lewis

Devotionals for   Thursday: May 25, 2017

Question… How can I help? When was the last time you asked this question? Do it more often and see…

Rendering help is a privilege, it is almost an obligation, but voluntary.

The coming Famine… It is a Famine of the Word of God.

A Brief Bio of Amos:  Amos was a contemporary of Hosea and Jonah. He lived in the town of Judah, close to Bethlehem and about 11 miles from Jerusalem. His writing is dated around 760-750 BC. This makes his statement below approximately 2,760 years in history. We read of the coming ‘Famine” of not a famine of food, but a famine of the words of the Lord.

The news item below is like a trickle that turns into a tidal wave and eventually a Tsunami, just like a ‘Spark’ that kindles into a forest fire, so will the suppression of the Gospel and the word of God be targeted.

Text:  Amos 8: 11
11
“The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord,
“when I will send a famine through the land—
not a famine of food or a thirst for water,
but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 People will stagger from sea to sea
and wander from north to east,
searching for the word of the Lord,
but they will not find it.

Commentary:

Human philosophy tries to answer questions as: “How did man develop into what he is at present? Or: “How did social conditions develop into their present state?” God’s word gives us the true answers. The present condition of the world system finds its real explanation in the corruption of human nature.

If man could be transformed back into a “Good” being, evil would cease to exist. But this is what the Bible said…Matthew 15:18
But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man.

Matthew 15:17-19 (in Context) Matthew 15 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise:  Our Lord said there will be wars, and rumors of wars, nation will rise up against each other. Knowledge will increase, and people will be moving to and from… Historically we had wars in Syria, and today we have a civil war in this same place, why because of the one factor… Mankind, really nothing has changed as the behavior of the human race continues with the principle of an inherent factor… Sin

His Faithfulness: God loves us all, regardless of our background, and this is the Good News to all, Jesus came to save Sinners, and regardless of us being: a Moslem, an Atheist, Jewish of a non-believer, Christ died for the sins of all, you may notice that Christian was not among the mix, why we are called Christians only after one has some to the Lord, being born in a so-called Christian society do not make one a Christian.

Matthew 24:37
As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
Matthew 24:36-38 (in Context) Matthew 24 (Whole Chapter)

Principle: Jesus Christ the same Yesterday, Today and Forever… He is Faithful and He loves us so much to have died as a Sacrifice for our Sins, and He Rose from death, seen by thousands, and this is among the most verified facts of all times. HE LIVES….

His Warning:  Remember our Lord said: “Vengeance is Mine” but He is ready to receive you by His Grace by His Resurrection He conquered death.

Action:  Because we are made in His likeness, we also shall never die, the Bible said, “after death, the Judgment”, this means that death in the early realms but in the spiritual realms, we shall live, so therefore; choose where we will spend eternity, He has given us His Salvation, the Good News is; He is ready to receive you now, and His Salvation is fully paid for by Him at Calvary.

Coming to our Savior: He said come unto Him and He will give us rest…

Prayer:  Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer our Lord and Savior and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus today as we seek You and come in Your Holy presence, Lord let this day be filled with Your Grace, Gracious Savior, grant our Visitors and us all safety and to you be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore. Amen

Listen… somewhere out there your name was spoken, answer the call and get answers…

Topic:  Just think we are NOT redeemed by Silver or Gold, but by the Blood of Christ, He gave us a pedigree that is so high it cannot be bred, bought or created by any genetic engineering. Only by His Blood of Atonement we are ‘Sealed’ with Life-Everlasting to be in His Kingdom.

Text:  1 Peter 1: Living Before God Our Father

13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

The Enduring Word

22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,24 because

“All flesh is as grass,

And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.

The grass withers,

And its flower falls away,

25 But the word of the LORD endures forever.”

Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

Remember those in Christ will have a Joyful reunion, and we will know and recognize our loved ones… as we read of Moses and Elijah appeared to Jesus, they were recognized by the Disciples …Matthew 17:3

And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.

Luke 9:30

And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah,

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Romans 8:38-39

New King James Version (NKJV)

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Commentary:

What is a ‘Break-through’ Prayer? Our Lord spoke of many that Prayed, and He warned about using repetitious phrases and praying like many ceremoniously… One of the Prayers mentioned in the Bible is a short and direct sincere Prayer…’Lord Save me a Sinner’.

Genelle Guzman-McMillan the last survivor from the World Trade Towers, her prayer was answered while trapped on the 13th floor in the rubble that fell on her. Genelle’s story has been featured in many publication of her prayers being answered and her miraculous rescue and recovery and becoming a born-again Christian. She tells the story of being found after pushing her hand through an opening and someone held unto her, he told her that his name was Paul and he won’t let go of her until they get her out, she had an instant calmness even being semi buried.

After her rescue and meeting the crew of rescuers, she asked for Paul and they said they had no one with the name of Paul, Genelle tried to find Paul but he never stepped forward, she had given her life to Christ while buried in the rubble, and now realized her rescue was for a purpose and her faith in Christ led her to know that her miraculous rescue by ‘Paul’, finding her was a mission from God hearing her ‘Break-Through’ Prayer in her time of need.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we thank You for Your Word of assurance that You will never leave us not forsake us, and that nothing can separate us from Your Love for us as we trust in You Lord Jesus.  Lord let this day be filled with Your Peace that transcends all understanding. Lord bless our Visitors as in You we have Victory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Is your Life’s journey walking in the jungle, or in a rose-garden? Stop & smell the fragrance…

God made a place of such tranquility, a place that we cannot imagine, it would be like visiting the most beautiful botanical garden here on earth, except it was a perfect place.  This is Eden…

Genesis 2 (NIV)

Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so, on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

Adam and Eve

This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.

The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters.

11 The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold.

12 (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin and onyx are also there.)

13 The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush.

14 The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Ashur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;

17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

Back to today… as offspring of Adam, we are created with the ‘Free-will’ just as how God created Adam. Are we using our ‘Free-will’ to choose the right thing? What is the right-things?

So, as we travel today, let us declare it to be a garden of Peace…

Today… We church goers that are really ‘Arm-chair’ worshippers we who are believers need to do our part as the commission of our Lord was to proclaim His message of; Good News that He Rose Triumphantly and HE is alive on the Throne of Righteousness and He is waiting to receive those that come to Him for His Redemption.

EVENING:

There’s so much to tell, as re recite the key things we all need to know:

  1. God Created the Heaven and the Earth
  2. God Created us in His Likeness
  3. Because we are Created in the Likeness of God, we too shall live forever.
  4. Jesus is the Son of God and He is Supreme and was there from the beginning of it all
  5. Because we are descendants of Adam, we are all born into Sin.
  6. The Good News is: God Sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us
  7. Jesus Paid It All by His Blood of Atonement.
  8. The Grace of our Lord is extended to us all, and right now is the time of Acceptance
  9. If we Accept our Lord Jesus and repent of our Sin, He will Redeem us by His Blood as a Seal and as a Down/Payment for our Redemption that we will be with our Lord in a Place of Splendor forever.
  10. We also need to let it be known that while our Lord is a Lord of Love, A Gracious Redeemer and a Patient God, He is also a God of Consuming Fire…

Praise Our Lord Jesus for His Omniscience and His Divine Holiness and Jesus is our Sovereign Eternal God. Thank You Lord for the privilege of coming to you my Lord. Amen.

Prayer:

Father in Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, we come and seek Your Divine Blessings today and we thank You for Your Saving Grace.  Lord Your Unconditional Love for us we acknowledge knowing that You created it all for us and gave us humans dominion over all things, but man tarnished your Creation, and Lord this Creation we address is man himself. Lord we thank you for removing that ‘Tarnish’ by Your Blood of Atonement. And by Your Redemption we are no longer a ‘Pawn” to the evil one, as You Have Redeemed us and given us Your Grace and made us Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom, Lord let this message ring through to us all and for our Visitors to receive your Peace and Your Favors for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Messiah, our Redeemer and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday: May 22, 2017

Try this…  Let’s use the winning formula, you already know it, or you may have heard of it, get it today…

First let’s look at the achievers that almost did not make it…

We must not give in to failures or to put it less drastic, an un-successful ending of a project or financial loss in a venture that did not make it for some reason.  Some of the Icons of today did not make it until they failed an average of 12 plus tries.

It is said that the average entrepreneur did not achieve success until his 11th tries.

Read more about the late-bloomers that gave the world the World Class Hotels, Marriott® and one of the most successful fast food businesses on a global scale and many inventions that were spawned by mere accidents. Colonel Saunders, the King of Fried Chicken as an example, today KFC® is a worldwide franchise.

IBM® the world renown giant ‘BIG BLUE’ led by a visionary Thomas Watson took the decisive step of leaving his secured job with NCR® because of NCR’s management philosophy of being too focused in the Cash Register business, It was after Watson made a suggestion that NCR do some research in what was then relatively unknown “Data Processing” (Key Punch) after the Board of Directors of NCR told him that they have traditionally paid their stockholders annual dividends and that they had no interest, Watson made that decisive  move and launched what was the beginning of business civilization, the computer age, now known as the information and digital age.

Can we really build the Future?

Just like the Thomas Edison and the Alexander Graham Bell of the world that experienced failures in testing new inventions, we must never give up… Thomas Edison, the story goes that "Thomas Edison failed more than 1,000 times when trying to create the light bulb". (The story is often told as 5,000 or 10,000 times depending on the version.) When asked about it, Edison allegedly said, "I have not failed 1,000 times. I have successfully discovered 1,000 ways to NOT make a light bulb."

So, today let us take the Winning Formula…

God’s formula is too-easy… why do we say this? Because He said… Seek Him and His Righteousness first, and all those things will be added unto to you.

There some request from the Lord, as well as He said…

Matthew 6:33-34 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

John 16:24

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

Defining the FUTURE - Definition of the ‘Golden years

Just like vapor trail of the famous US Navy-Blue-Angels performance, many of us will leave a legacy, leaving behind a trail of philosophical thesis in posterity, but this is just like a vapor trail from the Blue Angel’s flyover.  Once they go out of sight and the vapor evaporates, we turn to the question: What is man?Hebrews 2:6 (NIV) But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him?  and again, we see that our life is a vapor… But we live on as we are created in the likeness of our Creator. So, choose where each of us will spend eternity.

We have a great High Priest Jesus our Redeemer that said “come unto me” because when God gave us the law He knew we were incapable of keeping them; if God knew this why did He give us the Law? The Law was given to let us know that we are sinners, so Jesus came to redeem us from the Law and gave us His Grace.Ephesians 2:5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:8 (NIV) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

James 4:14 (NKJV) whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. James 4:13-15 (in Context) James 4 (Whole Chapter)

What a privilege that our Lord gave us, so we can be with Him forever in Splendor as He Paid it all so that we can be saved by His Grace. Thanks, be to our Lord for His Saving Grace…

Plant seeds by speaking positively, never ‘dumb-down’ or putting down anyone, including yourself, step out in Faith…remembering that negativity only breeds failure, and success breeds success.

Proverbs 6:2 (NKJV)

You are snared by the words of your mouth;
You are taken by the words of your mouth.

Prayer:

Father thank You in Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus, thank You for coming and thank you for Your Grace and by Your Divine Resurrection we have Victory in You. Lord as we sow the seeds of Your Righteousness, Lord let in fall on good ground and bear much fruit for Your Glory. Lord we thank You for our Visitors, we come to You realizing Your Love and great Salvation through Your Sacrifice. Lord we are humbled by Your UN-Conditional love for us all. Devotionals for Sunday: May 21, 2017

Be set apart, yet be in ‘Oneness’ in Christ as you worship Him with unconditional adoration.

Oneness in Christ is not a ritualistic action, it is a combination of ‘Closeness and acknowledging His Love, His Providence and through His Grace that we have ‘Oneness’ in Him.

Today is Sunday, and some may say I will skip church today, I have somethings to do and I will stay in ‘Oneness’ in Christ alone today.  This could be considered a selfish approach, because your presence could inspire someone to come to Christ. Maybe your absence would let you lose the opportunity to lead someone to the Lord. Maybe your presence would be part of the corporate worship that inspire that person sitting next to you and even encourage the pastor, or the whole congregation by being presence.

What if 50% of the congregation adopts the same feeling of…’Maybe I will skip church today?’ there would be only half of the congregation that is a discouragement to others and most of all the pastor’s confidence of growing the congregation.

Among all, coming to church is a privilege, it is something that many would like to do, but they cannot.  The can’t because of being laid up in hospitals, nursing homes, away on trips, even some that are in prison or in a place where worshipping the Lord is not allowed publicly.

Commentary:

Reading the Bible or attending Church or praying on your own cannot save you… this bold statement is rather contrary to many preacher’s definition of being saved.  I was reading this morning about instructions from a pastor to one of his congregation... “Go home and Pray’. Suppose you are an ambassador of a country, It is your responsibility being an ambassador or if you are an officer at the Embassy, if someone comes and asks ”how can I seek political asylum as I am being pursued by my government for speaking about being a Christian”, would we say go home and wait? Wait for what? To be arrested? Or a miracle?  The same applies if someone comes and said, I am facing a doubt in my mind of how to be sure I have been saved? The answer is not one of Reading the Bible or attending Church or praying, Praying may save you if you were praying to the Lord Jesus and in fact called upon His name.

So, the instructions go home and Pray may not help you in finding the Truth. The Truth defined as the Good News of His Salvation.  It is the duty of the Pastor to counsel and provide guidance.  Therefore, we are doing what Paul was saying to the Philippians, described below…

Philippians 1:12-18

New International Version (NIV)

Paul’s Chains Advance the Gospel

12 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has served to advance the gospel. 13 As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. 14 And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.

15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill.16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.

Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus we come knowing that You our Lord & Savior sits on the Throne of Righteousness and as we come You intercedes for us. Lord we thank You for this day that we are privileged to serve You Lord and to bring Your Good News to all. Lord let our visitors find Grace in You as Your Faithfulness is forever and those that call on You Lord will be Saved. We give You our Praises and we thank You for allowing us to be a Vessel for You Lord. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Think on this today:

Because Jesus said, He came that we may have an abundant life and have it 'more' abundantly... why did Jesus said 'more' in describing 'Abundant'? Because He has prepared a way for each of us to have a 'Double-Portion' and His double-portion is an eternal life in Him.

Devotionals for Saturday: May 20, 2017

Are you having a winning streak, or are you in ‘Victory’ Lane? Find Victory in the Lord…

A famous man once said, “Although I do not want to live as Christians do, I would like to die as they do” Obviously, this is impossible as a man living without Christ cannot please God, and without Faith acknowledging His Grace this person will never be in the presence of God.

Paul writing to the Galatians encapsulated the key points of Jesus’ teaching. We will take a brief look back on Paul who was a persecutor of Christians, he even witnessed the stoning death of Steven, and how Saul later known as Paul became a Vessel of Christ. The Lord chose him and made him a vessel, in fact we read that Paul was not boasting when he said he know of a man that was taken to the third heaven… this is where he received the knowledge of the Good News that he was commissioned to bring to the Gentiles.

The most important appointment of the day is: Coming to our Lord, today we are focused at ‘Freedom’ as we read below… Christ our Redeemer has set us free!

Galatians 5

New International Version (NIV)

Freedom in Christ

5: 1, 13-26 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Life by the Spirit

13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.  † End of Text

His Promise:

Hebrews 7:25
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

His Faithfulness:

Romans 8: 28-35

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died —more than that, who was raised to life —is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

Action / Coming to our Lord:

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Prayer:  Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer, Lord Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God, as we start this new week Lord, let each day be a day of Grace, and let Your Blessings flow to us and to each other’s that we interact with. Lord we place You on High, and we stand at the empty Cross knowing that You ascended to the Throne of Righteousness, and we are privileged to come as You intercedes for us. Lord, we pray for all Visitors and our Nation and we ask that Your Will be done and bring us to You so that You may heal our land, we pray for rain to the farms that our nation will still have a salvageable crop. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday: May 19, 2017

Focus:    Nothing compares to the Providence of the Lord… When you receive it, share it and spread the Joy…

Providence is more than the capital of Rhode Island, Providence is from God.

Providence is a divine action by the Grace of the Lord.  In this sentence, we have three words that are outside of the realms of human’s capability….

  1. Providence
  2. Divine
  3. Grace

All three of the above go together:

God said… Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. In Context | Full Chapter |

These are the substance of the above…

  1. To prosper you,
  2. Not to harm you,
  3. To give you Hope and a future.

Encapsulated in this one sentence is all we will ever need in this life and in the life to come.

Jesus said…

Mark 11:24

Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

So, knowing that you are chosen and appointed to bear fruit, (Fruit that will last) Jesus is referring to His great commission… to bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth, this is an affirmation that we are born to reproduce, by knowing Christ and to make Him known.

So, we have often said, if you knew the cure for a life-threatening disease and you kept it to yourself, this would be an evil act. So today we know of a cure that can cure the greatest life-threatening illness, so, share it, and this is what we must share…

Devotionals for Thursday: May 18, 2017

Choose the right one… Life is like being stranded on an island or in a desert, or are you in a green pasture?... choose one.

Being stranded on an island may have some advantage over being in the desert.  On an island, there would be some form of vegetation, and there could be a spring that provides drinking water, but you are surrounded by water and without a boat you are trapped, on the other hand being in a desert, there is no water and just sand dunes for miles, but you could be on the edge of the desert and there may be life just beyond the dunes.  Either way none of these situations would be desirable.

In life we are pretty much in one of the above situations… The travel from Egypt to Canaan was a forty-year trek. Our lives are much the same, growing up from an infant through end of schooling, reaching age 20+; thereafter the remaining forty years in a career(s) or finding your way through to the ripe old-age of 70+ the sequence of events could be like doing what the Israelites did.

They were cared for, fed and given leadership, but they ‘slipped-away’ and God’s punishment came upon many.  Many of us are like those traversing the desert. We had God’s providence, we took it for granted, we ‘slipped-back’ and suffer the consequences, but the graciousness of the Lord always prevailed.

So, today as we address what we face, let us remember that Jesus said… “Do not Worry”

Jesus said…” I will never leave you nor forsake you”.  So, when you know Jesus His promise of a ‘Green-Pasture’ will always be there.

Psalm 23:2

He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, In Context | Full Chapter |

Remember God care for us, and when His ‘correction’ is rendered, it is because He loves us. Just like when a mother corrects her child. So do not despite His chastening.

Hebrews 12:6

because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”

Prayer: Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus knowing that You are God in One of our Father and Creator, we come and thank You for Your Saving Grace, and in Faith we accept Your Good News of Your Salvation. Lord Jesus thank You for coming and by Your Blood shed for us at Calvary, we are saved with Your Seal of Salvation. Thank You Lord for Your Grace as we look to You for Your Holy Spirit to guide our Visitors and us all in this challenging world that You have conquered, Lord we Praise You knowing that” The Best is Yet to Come” for those in Christ as You have said, where You are so shall those in Faith knowing You shall be. We Praise You for Your Supremacy and Majesty Jesus, Messiah our Eternal Sovereign God, to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…Amen.

A Necessity:         Having a plan is necessary, make sure the plan can be realized, going alone often fails, why?

Commentary:

We spoke about … a Royal Priesthood, yes, we descended from a line of that is ‘Blessed’ by God.  The Word of God said we are made Joint-Heirs in Christ Jesus.

The benefits offered from Life Insurance policies are designed to provide a ‘pay-out’ upon death, there are some policies that will give you an annuity but in the first years there are no benefits, only in the event of death or disability.

God’s plan is a whole lot different… The Plan offered by our Lord differs in the following conditions:

1. God’s Plan is Free

2. The Payout is the Maximum Value far above what the best policy can provide on earth

3. The Benefits never vary

4. All are accepted

5. No Medical Examination necessary

6. Pre-Existing conditions accepted

7. No Monthly payment

8. No Financial statement of income required

9. Foreigners are accepted

10. No Expiration date

11. And His Grace gives you a life of forever.

Under God’s Plan? He provided the Maximum coverage that includes:

Full Replacement

a. Moving to a Mansion that replaces the modest home one owns and currently occupies

b. All future needs are fully provided

c. Never must see a doctor or fill a prescription

d. Never should worry about anything, and all your neighbors will be loving

e. And best of all there will be no Utility bills, as lighting, heating, cooling will be free, all provided by the Radiance of our Lord.

g. No need for a Credit Card to dine out, the best of everything will be served.

And guess what, we never will need to be entertained so the 600 channels of nonsense will not be needed, why? Because your new place will be filled with Splendor and Joy.

Now you may ask, where are we reading about this utopia?  no, we did not make this up.  The following scriptures are provided and these are the Word of God…

Acts 8:20

But Peter said to him, “May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!  Acts 8:19-21 (in Context) Acts 8 (Whole Chapter)

This was Peter’s response to Simon the sorcerer that thought he could purchase the ability to perform the power of healing.

John 1:12

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,  John 1:11-13 (in Context) John 1 (Whole Chapter)

Principle:  Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved… Romans 10:13 NKJV

Action/Coming to our Lord:

At Calvary when the thief that said to Jesus, Lord remember me when you come into your Kingdom… This repentant person came to Christ the King that was on the Cross also, His request was made with a Contrite Heart, repenting but also knowing that Jesus was God, and he came in Faith,  his request was responded to by Jesus… Luke 23:43

And He (Jesus) said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”

Luke 23:42-44 (in Context) Luke 23 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Romans 8:28-30

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

Ephesians 2:8-9

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Note: The Text above said, It is “BY GRACE” you are saved, through (Your) Faith in Jesus, and His Salvation is from Him (Jesus) and not of anything we can do. Why? Because our ‘righteousness’ is like a filthy rag.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we thank You for Your Saving Grace and we praise You for your UN-Conditional Love toward us while we are still sinners. Lord Your Divine Resurrection fulfilled the Covenant of Grace that You have extended us. Lord as we acknowledge Your Gift of Grace that Redeemed us, we are privileged to bring this Good News to others according to Your great commission.  Lord let those that visit our site be redeemed by coming to You today and let Your Holy Spirit be upon us all. We thank You for this privilege and we dedicate this endeavors to You for Your Glory and all things are made possible through You. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to you is the power and the Glory now and forever… Amen.

Focus… Can our thoughts change our future? Can your goal influence your achievement?

Goals are good to set, and focusing your thoughts on the mission can yield results.  But research and market study are essential. However, some studies may be eclipsed by changes that are tied to generational trends.

How secure is the future? The wide-spread application of Artificial-Intelligence could be the greatest threat to the generational trend known as Millennials.

According to an MIT professor…47 percent of total US employment is in the high-risk category, meaning that associated occupations are potentially automatable over some unspecified number of years, perhaps a decade or two," they predict in the report The Future of Employment.

During the coming decades, they forecast two "waves of computerization" during which different categories of jobs will be washed away, with no field of employment left untouched.

But the future is not all doom and gloom, as there will be need for some manual-labor, and positions that require Inter-Personal interaction.

The coming years could be a form of chaos for many, or it could be utopia.

Commentary: Our Lord let it rain on both the just and the unjust…. But in our life, we cannot have Faith without knowing His Holiness, His Graciousness, His Unconditional love and above all His Divine Redemption.  He sends His Showers of Blessings…

Matthew 5:45

That you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Matthew 5:44-46 (in Context) Matthew 5 (Whole Chapter)

Today as we check the weather report, are we deserving of His blessings?  Some western weather reporters report rainy weather as a ‘bad-day’ in the Asian society; it would be described as ‘what a lovely shower of rain’.

Looking ahead for this week, we see challenges but the days ahead are really filled with opportunities… why? We will meet new people, we will visit with friends, and we can pass-on the Good News.  The good news is that all what we need will be provided by the Providence of our Lord to those that seek Him.  Look at Matthew a Tax Collector that used his mission in life to bring the Good News of Jesus to his Jewish people.

Matthew’s message was and is focused to the Jews and the Gentiles as well, that Jesus is the Messiah, and through Jesus the deliverance from sin and its effect is available to both Jews and Gentiles.

To the unbeliever, Matthew made his statement that Jesus welcomes those who called upon our Lord as He is the Savior of the world, (The world means living beings not the physical word)

Because our Lord knows our thoughts, He said …Matthew 6:8

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Matthew 6:7-9 (in Context) Matthew 6 (Whole Chapter)

Let us give thanks for the Favors of our Lord…

  1. 2 Corinthians 8:14

At the present time, your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality,

  1. 2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Conclusion:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name, I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come… Lord Jesus thank You as we are privileged to be presented by You Jesus Messiah… We Praise You and we seek You and we thank You for Your Divine Redemption, Lord preserve us and Lord let this mission continue to reach many for Your Glory as we present our Visitors and ask Your Blessings on each as we go in Faith. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday: May 15, 2017

Reality of life… What do you wish to accomplish this week? Could it be life-changing, or just another week?

There are many things that can occur for a life-changing experience…

  • career change
  • change in religion
  • changes in education
  • fall in love
  • fame
  • financial windfall
  • major change in income
  • major dietary changes
  • marriage
  • negative to positive thinking
  • positive to higher spiritual thinking
  • relocation
  • retirement

We choose the positive events and hope that one of more of these may come your way…  except for change of religion, as we consider religion to be a ritual, we prefer to say ‘Faith’, belief and Grace, as it is by Grace that you are saved.

Ephesians 2:8

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

In Context | Full Chapter |

Make this a week of life-changing event, coming to the Lord…

Things to know that in the realms of reality, right now is what counts; not yesterday, nor tomorrow, for we know… “Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Our Lord’s Grace and His Kindness and Graciousness are His gifts to those that serve and place Him first.

Live by the principle of… Spiritual maturity is developed by holding unto a FAITH that is FIRMLY ANCHORED IN CHRIST; and knowing that we are never on our own because Jesus is our High Priest.

Hebrews 4: 12 (NIV)

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Jesus is our Intercessor and our Mediator as our High Priest, that Intercedes to the Father, as HE Said...” No one comes to the Father unless Through HIM”

Psalms 95 Verse 7 (NIV).  For he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.

Today, if only you would hear his voice, 8. Do not harden your hearts

His encouragement to persevere and Stay focused in FAITH

Principle 2:

We become Mature in The Faith as we live out the Truth, and Learn about God…

MATURE FAITH = ACTION FOR CHRIST

Keynote:

Jesus is the Foundation Who Secures the ANCHOR of OUR FAITH…

The GOSPEL IS THE WHOLE THING, And The Goodness of HIS Resurrection.

Keynote: Keep Focused on HIM!

Jesus is on the Throne, and He is our Anchor, and we can come to Him as HE said…

Pay Careful attention to the Gospel, so we will be fully Anchored in Jesus Christ…as HE Never Lies, HE is Supreme, HE is Sovereign and HE is our Eternal God…

Our Father holds the purse-strings, and what we lose for his sake he can repay a thousand-fold.

It is ours to obey his will, and we may rest assured that he will provide for us. The Lord will be no man's debtor.

Looking at His Words in Matthew 6: 28-34 (NIV) preface…These are the words of Jesus as told by Him from His sermon at a gathering which was in effect our Lord’s Inauguration speech as King Jesus, widely known as the Beatitudes and as ‘The Sermon on the Mount’ Thetheme of this message is: ‘To have Faith and not to Worry’

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

EVENING:

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3 And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that by Your Grace we are being welcomed by You.  Lord today we bring our Visitors and we seek your Divine blessings on us all, we pray in Your Holy name and to You Lord Jesus our Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator, is the Power and the Glory, Now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:  May 14, 2017

Remember…        A loving Mother is a Gift from God…

Mother’s Day Factoid… Did you know the founder of Mother’s Day was childless her entire life? The official Mother’s Day holiday started in the 1900s as a result of the efforts of Anna Jarvis to honor her mom’s passing.  In May 1908 she organized the first official Mother’s Day celebration at a Methodist church in Grafton, West Virginia.

A Christian Mother is one of the greatest influences in our lives…

For those of us that are blessed with a Christian Mother we can truly thank our Lord for His Grace through our maternal Mom.

Nothing replaces the love of our Mom; a Mother is a Blessed person to bear a living being and to nurture and bring up her child under the guidance of our Lord.

Only the presence of our Lord in the homes of our mother brought the Grace that blossomed into the love of a Christian mother.

History gave us mothers with a difference, our Christian Moms were loving, and caring, but there were mothers that were off the chart, like Nero’s mother that history said was a murderess. So thank our Lord for Christian Moms, and remember that it is by the Grace of our Lord that she is saved and so are we.

Prayer…

Lord we thank You for all the Mothers and especially the Christian Moms around the world, and ask your continued blessings on all as they continue to bring their families to You Lord.

To You Lord is the Power and the Glory Lord Jesus… Amen.

Commentary:

We know that Christ was born at the right time (Galatians 4:4) and that he died for us at the right time (Romans 5:6). We cannot tell when he will come again, but it will be at the right time (Acts 17:31). The right time to trust in him is now (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Without the Redeeming Blood of our Savior all is lost.  So we must know how rich an endowment our Lord has bestowed upon us.  Because what He has provided will be eternal.

We need to know that in life there are two forces, one is of the evil one and one is of God our Creator, there may be a question in your mind why did God allow the evil one to live? Because this evil one was cast out of heaven to earth, and earth  was created by God for us,. And God made us a place of splendor, but we squandered His Love and He evicted  Adam & Eva from the Garden of Eden.  This was not a surprise to our Creator as He endowed Yeshua-Christ to be our Redeemer that through His Redemption we will be elevated to a New Eden restored as a ‘Sanctified’ place without sin, as we shall be in His Likeness through His Blood of Atonement. While earth is not God’s home, we are on earth, and he loved us so much to have sent Yeshua –Jesus to be our Redeemer through the process of a Holy Sacrifice.

What is a Sacrifice? Just like when the angel of death was to pass over Egypt, the instruction of the Lord to the Israelites were to offer a Sacrifice of a lamb and the blood to be sprinkled on the door post of each house and the Angel of death would Passover their house.  The Blood of Jesus is His Seal of Redemption that He has given to us who accepts His Blood of Atonement

Action/Coming to our Lord: Bring to our Lord all your needs, sometimes is not need for money, but most times it is the need to Stop and Know that He is God, and put Jesus first and His Righteousness and your needs will be fulfilled.

Conclusion:  In what way can you use the help of our Lord?  Fear is from the evil one, this is the doctrine of the devil, our Lord said Fear not; for we have our Lord’s assurance of… For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of  POWER and of LOVE and of a SOUND Mind… 2 Timothy 1: 7

Words of Wisdom:  Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.  Ephesians 2: 20 NKJV

To know Christ…

Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer:  Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we gather in churches around the world, we thank You for the privilege of gathering in Your Name Lord.  Lord today being a day of Worship, we reflect on the recent taking of innocent lives as we ask Your blessing on the survivors and to those losing loved ones. Lord let there be peace in our land and let Your Divine Powers be felt as Your Covenant of Grace and Your Redemption is granted to those that seek You Lord. Today we thank You for the many Visitors coming to hear the Good News of the Gospels, and we know You our Redeemer Lives, We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday: May 13, 2107

Question… Are we a society of consumers, or anxiety? We could be both, but how about a peaceful society?

A ‘Peaceful’ society is God’s plan for us all, but we have turned what He created into a place of anxiety.

When you were a kid there was nothing to worry about, thinking of toys, school, friends, playing, and enjoy what kids do would be your agenda. Living today is like being on a fast treadmill that the power switch is broken, the trick is how to get off safely.

Many satisfy their anxiety by being a shopaholic, as we see the closing of many departments stores and retailers closing the big box stores, this is a result of consumerism driven by online purchases.

A peaceful life is to be satisfied with what we possess, but is doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t think about replacing that worn out car, the broken dishwasher or fixing the broken fence.  Eating is a necessity but over eating is an indulgence and doing this will cause you to have health issues.  So, everything in moderation is the order of the day.

You can be awake at 3 AM and buy anything Online, in some case it can be delivered within hours.  This is convenience, but overdoing this leads to consumerism.  At 3 Am one should be asleep regenerating your mind, conditioning your heart, blood vessels, improves your hearing as sleeping is good for your health.

Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. In Context | Full Chapter |

Psalm 112:7

They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. In Context | Full Chapter |

Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. In Context | Full Chapter |

John 1:18
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Commentary:    Because God will not tolerate Sin and sinner cannot come into the presence of God.

If sinners cannot come into the presence of God, then are we going to Hell? We will answer this a little further on, but first, murderers and convicted criminals will not see God, what are we saying? If these cannot, how about Liars, Hypocrites, and cheaters who was never convicted of a crime? None will see God, because we are all sinners, even a church pastor or a priest will not see God if they do not know and accepted the Lord. Then what about me who attends church every Sunday, and is considered a good person, I even go on mission trips and serve as a church elder? Unless you are born again you will not see God.  Jesus said all our righteousness is like a filthy rag.

Therefore, Jesus came to Redeem us, and without His Blood of Atonement we are condemned to die… then some may say so that, when I die it is over, so what do I care? This would be an easy way out if when we die it’s over. But the Bibles said… ‘It is appointed unto to Man to die and then the Judgment’.  If there is a Judgment, what do I care when I am dead? I can face no further consequences, so what? Guess what? This is not the end. Because we will never die? Then this is good news, yes for those that know our Lord it is, but to the unrepentant sinner, it is bad news; for the Lord said the wages of sin is death, which is not a physical death, but a spiritual death, but the soul lives on in eternity, and the sinner’s soul will be in a place of constant separation from God in a place of His consuming fire that never ends. We many say then God is unreasonable to allow his creation to end up in such a desolate place? Just, like what Jesus depicted of Lazarus and the rich man, as the rich man ended in such a place and Lazarus in Heaven.

Jesus said He is the Light of the World, when He said “world” he was referring to us living beings, not the physical world, He said He came to save sinners, He was declared by God to be ‘The Lamb of God’ what did God mean by this? As a Sacrifice a Lamb without blemish is always chosen as a Sacrifice’ therefore God chose Jesus as His Lamb that was Sacrificed at Calvary for our Sin.  So, when Jesus was Crucified He said, “It is Finished’ and at that moment the Temple Curtain was torn, revealing the inner place of High-Holy, as Jesus became our High Priest, but we must turn to Him and receive His Gift of Grace.  Jesus Rose Triumphantly, and conquered death forever for mankind. And through His Grace we have His ‘Priceless’ Gift of Everlasting Life with Him.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we thank You with Jesus our Lord and our Mediator. Lord Jesus guide us and bless our Visitors and us all, we give You our Praise and to You be the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday:     May 12, 2017

Question…            We are all ‘Seekers” seekers of attention, seeker of the ‘Light’ seeking what else… fame & fortune?

Jesus said… Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. In Context | Full Chapter |

Fame and Fortune come and go… Some ‘Famous’ individuals are known for their schemes, and one that is a Text-Book lesson taught in every business schools would be Carlo Ponzi.  Today all schemes that offers great and exorbitant returns are somewhat classified as a ‘Ponzi-Scheme’

Ponzi sought wealth and he received a misfortune instead, he became infamous.   Even today many ‘schemers’ are still deceiving others. But we will rely on the principle that all ‘ill-begotten fortunes will soon be lost’

For the record, Ponzi died a penniless person.

Deception is the main ingredients of all schemes…

The devil is a deceiver, and we must place things in its chronological order.  The Creation through to the fall of mankind to the lies of the devil in the garden of Eden, when we read about this in the Bible, it appeared that the devil was always present, but time wise there was a period when Adam and Eve were already in the garden, and there was a time when the devil was casted out of heaven and came to earth.   Therefore, chronologically it was after the devil landed on earth that he came to the Garden and started his deceitfulness.

So, let’s be seeker of Light, and the Light of the World is Jesus.

John 8:12

Dispute Over Jesus’ Testimony] When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”   In Context | Full Chapter

John 9:5

While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” In Context | Full Chapter

The power and the Glory of the Lord is described below…

Ezekiel 1:

25 Then there came a voice from above the vault over their heads as they stood with lowered wings. 26 Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. 27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.

This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

So, today the Almighty Messiah is not dressed in his sandals, He is surrounded by brilliant light.

Lord Jesus we come affirming You as our Messiah, and Lord as we humbly seek You and Your Glory is shining around us. Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You and we ask Your divine Providence on our Visitors and us all. Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Be aware that you are a Chosen-One…

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. In Context | Full Chapter |

1 Peter 2:6

For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus’ said this…

Mark 13 New International Version (NIV)

The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times

13 As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!”

“Do you see all these great buildings?” replied Jesus. “Not one stone here will be left on another; everyone will be thrown down.”

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked him privately, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?”

Jesus said to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you. Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and will deceive many. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.

“You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. 10 And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. 11 Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

12 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. 13 Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

14 “When you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’[a] standing where it[b] does not belong—let the reader understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 15 Let no one on the housetop go down or enter the house to take anything out. 16 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 17 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 18 Pray that this will not take place in winter,19 because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now—and never to be equaled again.

20 “If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them. 21 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. 22 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 23 So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.

24 “But in those days, following that distress,

“‘the sun will be darkened,
    and the moon will not give its light;
25 the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’[
c]

26 “At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.

28 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 29 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it[d] is near, right at the door.30 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

One thing for sure… We can trust in the Word of Jesus…

What more ‘Proof’ do we need? Are we like Thomas who said;  John 20:25

So, the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

Jesus appeared to Thomas and said… John 20:27-29 New International Version (NIV)

27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

The entire Bible is all about Jesus, today is May 5th in the 2017 years after the Birth of Christ, what made His birth such a significant date that our calendar is tied to this event? Because he is Messiah.

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus Messiah… today we affirm that there’s no other God but You as You in the Triune God, of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Jesus, we thank You for Your assurance and Your Provision of Redemption. Lord be with our Visitors and we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday: May 10, 2017

Know this… Happiness versus Joy… Which will last forever? ‘Rejoice’ in the Lord…

rejoiced, rejoicing.

  1. to be glad; take delight (often followed by in):

to rejoice in another's happiness.

  1. to make joyful; gladden:

a song to rejoice the heart. To exult, to give glory to revel in Joy…

FOCUS:  Time is precious, once lost it can never be regained. Live at the moment while looking to Jesus

TEXT: Romans 8:28 [Full Chapter]

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

If you could turn back time and had one wish, what would that wish be?

There are moments in our lives that we wish we could relive and many of us may have something in common…

We live in a world that is always on the ‘brink’. We are sold computers that are almost ‘outdated’ by the time you have unpacked it. Our vehicles are equipped with ‘intuitive’ software that will self-park and stop for an oncoming obstacle.  But choosing the era that we would like to live in is still a fantasy.

So, turning back time you may want to use that time for good and to use the time to retract or avoid a mistake made in the past. While we cannot turn back time, we can look forward to using the time at hand for good and to plan to use the future for the things that we should have done. Unfortunately, there are things that we cannot undo or relive but we can interpose them at this moment knowing that all things work together for good to those that love the Lord…

EVENING:

Let us spend this moment Praising our Lord and thanking Him for His mercies and His Divine Redemption.

In life, they say count the pennies and the dollars will take care of itself… So, Choosing Christ, making Him the Author and Finisher of our Faith will let all things fall in-line.  Yes, we will have challenges, a there is always a constant battle against the evil one, but we have Victory…

1 John 4: 1-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you are greater than he who is in the world.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. In Context | Full Chapter |

And the Apostle Paul wrote; in whatever state, we are in we must be thankful.

Philippians 4: Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Jesus Messiah we are privileged to be called to love one another as You have loved us. Lord bless our Visitors and grant each and every one Your providence as we know You know our needs even before we ask or even think it.  Lord we thank You knowing that You will lead us in triumph in You our Sovereign Eternal God. Lord we thank You for the privilege of bringing Your Good News to these sites and we seek Your continued blessings that many will come to know You Lord.  Lord we give You the Glory and to You is the Power and thine is the Kingdom, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday: May 9, 2017

Beware… The Jackpot could be a curse?  of 35,000 lottery winners, 1,900 filed for bankruptcy within five years

Focus: Are you practicing ‘Self-made religion’? (Col 2: 20) beware of legalism, cling to Faith and Grace, Christ did not die in vain… Self-righteousness is useless, because there’s nothing we can do to be ‘righteous’ if this was so, then Christ died in vain, and we make Him to be liar.

Remember our Lord knows us by name, while this is so, we may say that we all have a ‘common-name’ and this name is ‘Sinner’. You may say why I am a sinner, I do not steal, I do not curse, I attend church, and yet you are a sinner, why? Because we are all born with that blemished called sin.

Sin entered the world through one man, and death was passed unto ALL... But God loves us so much He sent His Only Son Jesus to die for our sins. John 3:16-17 King James Version (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

TEXT:  Romans 5:12

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: In Context | Full Chapter

Topic: The old saying… God moves in a mysterious way… To man it is mysterious, but to God it is a ‘Divine’ way.  Many instances in life when someone suffers a tragedy one would ask, where was God? When Stephen was stoned to death, why did God not save him? Stephen looked up and saw Jesus with open arms welcoming him home.  Now, would it be better for Stephen to be protected from the rocks and remained alive?  Or was it better for our Lord to receive him home and give him a place of splendor.  I can imagine, that our Lord was saying… look at those fools, they are fighting and killing each other for what? To gain what? To dominate their fellow men for what? This is why Jesus said… “Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing” This is like watching the football game seeing your team being out-scored, but you are smiling because you already know the ending that your team won.

Talking about what is the best thing we can hope for? Did you know that many Lotto winners that won millions reverted to poverty? In fact, there is a person than won $5.2 Million and now lives in a trailer and on welfare.  What does this tell us?  Unless the Lord builds it, it will not last.

Psalm 127:1

[Laboring and Prospering with the LORD] [A Song of Ascents. Of Solomon.] Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.

Psalm 127:1-3 (in Context) Psalm 127 (Whole Chapter)

EVENING: Action/Coming to our Lord:

Paul the Apostle that Jesus chose to be His vessel, said…

Romans 7:24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?

In our daily lives, we are bombarded by the world’s distraction via, Print, electronic (TV-Internet) radio, etc. the apostle Paul in the text above was merely saying “I am a man, and I am susceptible to the temptations”.  To be tempted is not a sin, but to partake in the temptation and enter into an act of complicity is a sin.  The constant battle with the forces of temptation is not regulated to our bodies, it is our mind, so be mindful of our imaginations that we are not led astray.  In a recent piece written by Leroy Elms, he stated that his friend that contracted Polio and while he was wasting away in an Iron-Lung machine weighing less than 70 lbs., he asked him what bothered him the most, and the reply was the ‘Lustful’ thinking that went on in his mind constantly.

Our Lord Jesus who was tempted by the devil never partook of the temptation, He overcame the wiles of the devil with the Word of God…  So, there is a way for us to deal with this universal problem which is:

Psalm 119:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Conclusion:

We again reflect on the apostle Paul while being taken to Rome, their ship was wrecked on the island of Malta, and the event of the snake that fastened to his hand was an event that got the attention of the natives They though Paul would have died, but he shook it off and continued.  Here we see how our Lord not only made Paul His vessel, but He made him a prominent leader to bring the Gospel to the gentiles.

Acts 28:3

And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. Acts 28:2-4 (in Context) Acts 28 (Whole Chapter)

Principle: God will use men that are chosen by Him even though their background may be ‘spotty’

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

His Faithfulness- His Graciousness:

We can count on our Lord’s graciousness, and He said He will never leave us nor forsake us.  Finally, we want to remind everyone that it is not Faith that saves us, it is GRACE, and only by His Grace we are saved through Faith in our Lord Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)

For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus as our Mediator we acknowledge that unless we come through You no one comes to the Father. Lord we thank You as we stand in Faith acknowledging Your Grace; and we affirm that it is only by Your Grace that we are saved and not of anything we do. Lord we thank you for Your divine redemption. Lord today we seek Your guidance as we are weak and You are strong and by Your Grace we have Victory. Lord let Your Word be our Shield and let us be fully armed with Your sword as Your word is sharper than a two-edged sword. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us Your Favors as we seek You and give You first place in our lives. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our sovereign eternal God in One of the Father in Your Holy Trinity. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Reminder: For those feeling self-sufficient, let them be reminded it all comes from the Lord, if not, all will be lost.

The rich man who came to Jesus…

Matthew 19:16

The Rich and the Kingdom of God] Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?” In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus replied…

17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”

While the rich man refused Jesus’ answer, he trusted in his own wealth rather than following Jesus. Today, there are many like this rich young man.  There are many wealthy philanthropist, their motivations are driven by, tax benefits, humanitarian, even a ‘give-back’ that borders on guilt. And some do this for fame and posterity.

Proverbs 28:26

Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe. In Context | Full Chapter |

Proverbs 13:11

Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Proverbs 17:16

Why should fools have money in hand to buy wisdom, when they are not able to understand it?

In Context | Full Chapter |

The three verse above are challenging to many, as we say how can the rich be called a fool? This is because they trust in their wealth, and real Wisdom is to know the Lord and knowing that beyond the earthly wealth, the best is yet to come.

Wealth of man could not buy a place in God’s Kingdom.

The story of the rich man that died…

: Luke 16   NIV The Rich Man and Lazarus

19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Conclusion:

Millions are attending church services, let us remember the ‘Real’ reason why we attend churches… To Praise our King, not to just feed our souls, and hope for wealth.  He already knows what we need before coming.  What our Lord want from us is our Faith in Him… for His Greatest Gift: Live Everlasting with HIM, just as he told the repentant thief on the cross, ‘Today you will be with me in Paradise’ His Kingdom is nothing like what we have as what we have is a ghetto with filthy rags… His Kingdom is Paradise where He reigns, so let it be done on earth like it is in Heaven while we wait for the ultimate Kingdom.  How? To Praise Him and give Him the Glory here just as we will in His Kingdom.

One day He will leave the Throne why? To come and get those waiting on Him, and the final gathering will be exclusive. The word ‘Exclusive’ means to exclude by a select inclusion. Be part of this inclusion by accepting His Great Salvation as He Already Paid your ransom and is ready to include you in this great ‘Exclusive Gathering’

Prayer: Father in heaven, in Jesus we come. Lord we thank You for Your Grace and we lift You up before all knowing that You are the Great- I Am.  Lord we thank You for Your Divine Providence and we thank you for the privilege of serving You for Your Glory.  Lord thanks for our Visitors to these Good News Sites as we do this for Your Glory,  we are bearers of Your Good News.  Lord let our Visitors be filled with Your Holy Spirit as we go in Faith.  Lord we pray for our nation and we seek Your guidance to our leaders that they may turn to  You as You said You will hear their pleas and heal our land.  We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Beware…The tongue is the most destructive weapon, we all have one… use it wisely, use it to spread Good News.

Unlike a Propeller that moves the ship, the tongue cannot propel you but it can bring you down, or up…The size of some propeller for large ships can weigh as much as 30 tons.  But our tongue is a small organ than can do a lot of damage when wrongly used.

Choosing to live in harmony is considered a good choice.  An insult against certain religion can result in the severing of the tongue, Thank the Lord that this is not the law of the land in many civilized societies.

The strife, the threats of war and human tragedies around the world all started with a ‘war of words’ leading to conflicts.

If a group of religious leaders must resort to violence to expound their belief, it may appear that they are believing in nothing, an empty god.  In Christ, we have His Holy-Spirit and the Holy Spirit can make all things possible, and thus; there is no need to fight a battle, as the Lord said…” The Battle is His’

One of the finest examples of the battle being the Lord’s would be the falling of the walls of Jericho.  Yes, it was brought down with a loud ‘Shout’ but it was the Power of the Lord.

Today as many gather in houses of worship to participate in the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Jesus, also make this Holy-Sacrament to declare your body as a holy temple for the Lord.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 [Full Chapter]

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.

Praise the Lord for His mercies, His Providence and His Divine Redemption as nothing we can ever gain will compare to with what He provides.

Get this…  Insurance against losses, can you have insurance from being deceived? From liars, a thief? Yes….

Insurance against losses caused by Windstorm, Fire or Burglary, can be covered.  Insurance against a deceiver or a liar is only covered by God’s Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 6:5-7 New King James Version (NKJV)

Bondservants and Masters

Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eye service, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,

Commentary:  Who do you serve is a question that many would answer; I serve myself and my family. I must earn a living, I have a job that is just a job, or I own a business that demands a lot of my time, I make a decent living and I have little time to serve any others that my clients or my employer.

So, you will be doing this routine until you retire or be displaced by job obsolesce or business downturn.  Our top down views of life here is to reflect that nothing lasts forever.  So we did well, we made it up the corporate ladder, you became chairman of the board, but there is a day when you will be replaced,  So we all end up going back to the mundane chore of living out our years in retirement without the daily challenges, but we now face a major mountain that we all must climb… the twilight years of our lives… knowing that the one sure thing is inevitable  We will not mention the inevitable, but we all go to the ‘great-beyond’.

Now in the life of leisure not having to go to the office, or travelling on business trips, the question is still what is next?

We have Good News for those in the workplaces, retirement, and those facing life’s challenges of the sunset years…  If you were asked this question; would you like to leave this world and be with Jesus who told the thief on the cross; “Today you will be with me in Paradise” or would you prefer to remain right where you are? This is a personal question, so we will let you answer this on your own.

Commentary:

Yesterday we spoke about … a Royal Priesthood,  yes we descended from a line of that is ‘Blessed’ by God.  The Word of God said we are made Joint-Heirs in Christ Jesus.

The benefits offered from Life Insurance policies are designed to provide a ‘pay-out’ upon death, there are some policies that will give you an annuity but in the first years there are no benefits, only in the event of death or disability.  God’s plan is a whole lot different… The Plan offered by our Lord differs in the following conditions:

1. God’s Plan is Free

2. The Payout is the Maximum Value far above what the best policy can provide on earth

3. The Benefits never vary

4. All are accepted

5. No Medical Examination necessary

6. Pre-Existing conditions accepted

7. No Monthly payment

8. No Financial statement of income required

9. Foreigners are accepted

10. No Expiration date

11. And the Grace Period of forever.

So how much coverage can one purchase under God’s Plan? The Maximum coverage that includes:

Full Replacement

a. Moving to a Mansion that replaces the modest home one owns and currently occupies

b. All future needs are fully provided

c. Never have to see a doctor or fill a prescription

d. Never have to worry about anything, and all your neighbors will be loving

e. And best of all there will be no Utility bills, as lighting, heating, cooling will be free, all provided by the f. Radiance of our Lord.

g. No need for a Credit Card to dine out, the best of everything will be served.

And guess what, we never will need to be entertained so the 600 channels of nonsense will not be needed , why? Because your new place will be filled with Splendor and Joy.

Now you may ask, where are we reading about this utopia ?  no we did not make this up.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come and we thank You Father in Jesus Name knowing that Your Word will never pass away and that by the new Covenant in Jesus we have Salvation through You Lord Jesus. Lord we thank You for Your Divine Redemption that we shall see You on that day… Lord Jesus let us all today stand and know that You have said now is the accepted time and You will hear us, Lord let us spread Your Good News that today is the accepted time and the day of Salvation, we thank You Lord Jesus.  Lord hear our Visitors and gather each one that we shall all gathered on that day when Your Kingdom will be revealed.  Thank You Lord and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Text: Proverbs 9:10
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Proverbs 9:9-11 (in Context) Proverbs 9 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

What is considered ‘Mocking our Lord’? The word Mock is defined as…

1: to treat with contempt or ridicule:

Text:  Ephesians 2:8-9 Good News Translation (GNT)

8-9 For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it.

Commentary: Indoctrination was and still is the modus operandi of the communist. While this has been practiced for decades, many even in the ‘Party’ are now coming to Christ.  Why? Man is the creation of God, and we are inherently a creature that is aware that there are many unexplainable things that we mere men cannot understand. Therefore, even the atheist is subconsciously thinking that there must be a superior power somewhere out there.  The Bible classify those that say that there is no God as ‘Fools’.

Living Before the World

This is what our Lord said… “You Must be Born-Again” and being Born-Again, we are a new Creation.   If we think we will be in Heaven acting like our old self, then life will be just the same drudgery of a constant battle against the forces of evil.

Therefore, our Lord said, we will be ‘Transformed’ and Sanctified… “Without Sin, in a place where there is no Sin, it is a place of Splendor filled with the presence of our Lord Jesus that radiates His Joy in a place He called Paradise.

Just think… the thief on the cross said “Lord remember me when you come into your Kingdom” and Jesus said, “Today you will be with me in Paradise” Jesus did not say your sins are forgiven, our Lord knows that we are sinners, and even when we are saved by his Grace, we are still a sinner, because He Died once, and His Blood when we receive Him and  His ‘Seal’ of His Salvation upon us, as we are still subject to sin until that day when we are fully ‘Sanctified’. However, we cannot say then … If this is so let us continue to sin, as He also said, to ‘Willfully-Sin’ we will have no more sacrifice for us, as are ‘crucifying our Lord again and again when we willfully sin.

There is a fine line of being tempted and falling for the temptation and willfully sinning, so be careful, pray without ceasing, meaning, keep His Word in your heart that you will not sin against Him, as our Lord will make a away for the temptation to pass. Jesus Himself went through severe temptations, but He overcame them all with His Word, which is the Shield and Sword as we too can be protected by His Armor.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

We are one of Christ’s, why? We were purchased at a price… by His Blood, He made us a Royal Priesthood,

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Conclusion:

Principle: All our Righteousness are like a Filthy rag…

Action/Coming to our Lord:

18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness

Prayer:

Beware of… The pretenders, the deceivers, and the deception is usually well-packaged, Test it before acceptance…

We all have been deceived at one time or the other, even Joshua was deceived…

After conquering the city of Ai, the Gibeonites did this:

Joshua 9 New International Version (NIV)

9 Now when all the kings west of the Jordan heard about these things—the kings in the hill country, in the western foothills, and along the entire coast of the Mediterranean Sea as far as Lebanon (the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites)— 2 they came together to wage war against Joshua and Israel.

3 However, when the people of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done to Jericho and Ai, 4 they resorted to a ruse: They went as a delegation whose donkeys were loaded with worn-out sacks and old wineskins, cracked and mended. 5 They put worn and patched sandals on their feet and wore old clothes. All the bread of their food supply was dry and moldy. 6 Then they went to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal and said to him and the Israelites, “We have come from a distant country; make a treaty with us.”

7 The Israelites said to the Hivites, “But perhaps you live near us, so how can we make a treaty with you?”

8 “We are your servants,” they said to Joshua.

But Joshua asked, “Who are you and where do you come from?”

9 They answered: “Your servants have come from a very distant country because of the fame of the Lord your God. For we have heard reports of him: all that he did in Egypt, 10 and all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites east of the Jordan—Sihon king of Heshbon, and Og king of Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth. 11 And our elders and all those living in our country said to us, ‘Take provisions for your journey; go and meet them and say to them, “We are your servants; make a treaty with us.”’ 12 This bread of ours was warm when we packed it at home on the day we left to come to you. But now see how dry and moldy it is. 13 And these wineskins that we filled were new, but see how cracked they are. And our clothes and sandals are worn out by the very long journey.”

14 The Israelites sampled their provisions but did not inquire of the Lord. 15 Then Joshua made a treaty of peace with them to let them live, and the leaders of the assembly ratified it by oath.

16 Three days after they made the treaty with the Gibeonites, the Israelites heard that they were neighbors, living near them. 17 So the Israelites set out and on the third day came to their cities: Gibeon, Kephirah, Beeroth and Kiriath Jearim. 18 But the Israelites did not attack them, because the leaders of the assembly had sworn an oath to them by the Lord, the God of Israel.

The whole assembly grumbled against the leaders, 19 but all the leaders answered, “We have given them our oath by the Lord, the God of Israel, and we cannot touch them now. 20 This is what we will do to them: We will let them live, so that God’s wrath will not fall on us for breaking the oath we swore to them.” 21 They continued, “Let them live, but let them be woodcutters and water carriers in the service of the whole assembly.” So the leaders’ promise to them was kept.

22 Then Joshua summoned the Gibeonites and said, “Why did you deceive us by saying, ‘We live a long way from you,’ while actually you live near us? 23 You are now under a curse: You will never be released from service as woodcutters and water carriers for the house of my God.”

24 They answered Joshua, “Your servants were clearly told how the Lord your God had commanded his servant Moses to give you the whole land and to wipe out all its inhabitants from before you. So we feared for our lives because of you, and that is why we did this. 25 We are now in your hands. Do to us whatever seems good and right to you.”

26. So Joshua saved them from the Israelites, and they did not kill them. 27 That day he made the Gibeonites woodcutters and water carriers for the assembly, to provide for the needs of the altar of the Lord at the place the Lord would choose. And that is what they are to this day.

The final analysis of what took place 1,390 BC is evidence that deception is as old as time…

Conclusion:

To apply the principle of Matthew 23: 12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.  Peter 5:  6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Prayer:   Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Redeemer we come in Your Holy presence. we lift you up before all. Thank You Lord for opening the doors to bring Visitors this site each day; Lord we thank Your and seek your blessings on us all. Lord Jesus open the minds and grant us wisdom and let our readers grasp the Good News of Your Salvation. We pray in Your Holy name and give You the Glory and the Power now and forevermore… Amen.

True lies, or: You can depend on it, my word is my bond, how often have you heard this? Can you accept it?

Deception comes in many forms. The difference from just lying versus a deceitful action… a liar is just telling an outright lie, but the deceit is so contrived to keep the truth hidden, especially to get an advantage, the combination of deceit with lying makes one more than just a liar, it is more like a fraudulent action.

In the business world deceit is the SOP (Standard Operation principle) the food industry is it deceit or larceny? Read this report…

www.seattletimes.com/life/food-drink/first-pink-slime-now-meat-glue/

May 10, 2012 - Meet "meat glue," which could be in a lot of what you are eating, even if it isn't meat. ... in local delis and in restaurants ranging from fast food to fine dining. ... 11 percent to 35 percent of all packaged and sliced ham, beef, chicken, fish, ... pig-blood extracts are holding together their chicken or fish pieces?

Just think, as high as 35% of what is consumed are made up of ‘pieces’ of meat, and some may even be exposed to E. coli and other bacteria.  So, without knowing one could be exposing themselves to a major health risk.

So, we live in an imperfect world… Yes, but we do not have to a participant, the Lord had much to say about things like these.

Proverbs 10:16

The wages of the righteous is life, but the earnings of the wicked are sin and death.

Proverbs 11:18

A wicked person earns deceptive wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.

The employer that withholds the wages is also equally guilty…

Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. In Context | Full Chapter |

James 5:4 Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. In Context | Full Chapter |

Definition of disclaimer: a denial or disavowal of legal claim, a disclaimer could be a license to lie, but in the case of a fraud, nothing will protect the disclaimer shielding themselves from a claim by the one defrauded.

In the heavenly realms, we cannot ask God’s forgiveness before you commit the sin, so if what you plan to do is a sin, ask the Lord to take the temptation away, and He can do this as the scripture said…

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. In Context | Full Chapter

The closer we get to our Lord the harder the devil works to destabilize our faith…

Text: Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Galatians 2:19-21 (in Context) Galatians 2 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:  The devil wants us to think that the ‘best-things in life is free’. The real meaning should be… the ‘best-things in life are ‘just-things’.  Our Lord offers His exclusive ‘Best’ as we in Christ can say ‘The Best is yet to come’ and it is not a thing, it is ‘Seeing our Lord as He is” Jesus described His Kingdom as ‘Paradise’ and this is because He is the Radiance in His Kingdom.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: What problems have you experienced when you failed to wait for God to fulfill a promise or wait upon His direction?

This should be our approach… Philippians 4:6 New International Version (NIV)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Action/Coming to our Lord: We can ask our Lord to ‘Break the bondage of Sin’ but if I am not trying to rebuke the temptation in His name then this is futile, therefore I must have Faith and believe that He will grant the Favor because it is for His Glory, His providence to me equipping me is for his mission.

Mark 12:26

But concerning the dead, that they rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the burning bush passage, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? Mark 12:25-27 (in Context) Mark 12 (Whole Chapter)

1 John 2:1 New King James Version (NKJV)

My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord we thank You for Your Divine Grace and Your Redemption. Lord as we claim Victory in You Lord we are assured that all things work together for good to those who love You Lord. Lord let us be among those who are called according to Your purpose.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant Your favors, Lord be with us as we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Fact:      The greatest Gift is waiting to be claimed, get it today, and start enjoying the Joy that it gives…

Nothing we own, or purchase will be of use on that day that we leave this earth… why do we say leave this earth? Rather than dying? Because we never die. The Bible said…’To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord’

2 Corinthians 5:1-10 For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

Therefore, we are always confident and know that if we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So, we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

So, having the assurance which is the greatest Gift waiting to be claimed, get it today, and start enjoying the Joy that it gives…

This “Priceless’ Gift is the gift that as Jesus said… John 14:2-3 (NKJV)
2. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
John 14:1-3 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Note the New International Version of the Bible refers to “Rooms” and the King James refers to Mansions…

Let’s look forward to either a Room or a Mansion, as our Lord is Gracious and His version of a room will not be a boarding house as He said His Kingdom is a Paradise.

This is not an automatic gift, it must be received by each of us by coming to Him personally and acknowledging that you are a sinner and needed His Redemption, and by His Blood of Atonement, you will receive His SEAL that is a Down Payment on our Soul by His Blood and we are now written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. What is the Lamb’s Book? Because Jesus is the Lamb of God that paid it all by His Sacrifice for our Sin; this was prophesied in Isaiah 53 written 700 years before Jesus was born of a Virgin.

“All this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47).

Romans 8:  gives us the Assurance of God’s Divine Grace…

Present Suffering and Future Glory

18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake, we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Father in Heaven, in Jesus we come. We thank You in the name of Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Divine Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus Your Majestic Powers and Your Everlasting Love for us and your Grace are all we need. Lord We Love You Lord, we praise You and we are privileged to bring Your Good News to the ends of the world.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Divine Providence as You know our needs before we ask. Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

We thank our Visitors and hope that it has been a blessing to you, we request your help in spreading the Good News.  Please tell your friends and families of this,  and our sites in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.  God’s richest blessing be on you all…

Devotionals for Monday: May 1st, 2017

Focus:   What have you achieved that will serve you to the end? Whatever it is, you will outlast it…

And…If you lay up treasures in heaven it will be there too.

Titus 2:12-13 New International Version (NIV)

12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The World loves a winner… but they did not recognize the ‘Real-Winner’  who are the ‘Real-Winners’?  Jesus ‘The’ Christ and all those in Christ…. Everyone would like to be in ‘Victory-Lane’  In Christ you can be in Victory-lane today by the Grace of our Lord and savior…

Text: Matthew 6:20

But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

Matthew 6:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 6 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary: Do not envy that person that you know who went on to be the town’s wealthy guy and is always in the social columns.  Look at the flipside… is he happy?  Is he heaven-bound? If the answer is no, then he is the poorest person that you can point to. Being the richest person in the graveyard means nothing as; naked we came and naked we go, we take nothing with us. One Life to Live and after that the Judgment…

We need to know that we never die… So what is to come after this life? Jesus revealed this…

Hebrews 9:27

And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
Hebrews 9:26-28 (in Context) Hebrews 9 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

John 11:26
And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
John 11:25-27 (in Context) John 11 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

This website is known as GOOD NEWS FOREVER, and our discussion today may not start out as ‘Good-News’ but it will end in Good NEWS and backed by a Guarantee that far exceeds the greatest Warranty backed by any company or government, there is a saying the surest thing we have in live is “Death & Taxes’ but there’s more – A Judgment, and the best to come is Salvation and a live of total Splendor through Jesus Christ our Lord and savior…

What does this mean?  If we have just one life and when we die, how can there be a judgment? And by whom will we be judged?

The first things we all need to know are:

·         We were created in the likeness of our Creator

·         We will never Die

·         And there is a place of Splendor and a place of eternal suffering (Hell)

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Principle:  Ephesians 2:8-9

New International Version (NIV)

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Matthew 6:25
[Do Not Worry] “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Matthew 6:24-26 (in Context) Matthew 6 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Action/Coming to our Lord: Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter

Conclusion: While our Lord is a Gracious God, He is a God of Consuming Fire, as Sinners that have not repented will be separated from God and will be cast out from His sight and be in a place of perpetual suffering (yes you will be alive but never dying and ever suffering) because our Lord has given sinners over to the final death (but still never dead)  So Come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Pray... Lord Jesus I come in Faith accepting Your gift of Salvation and chose to be alive in You by your Grace my Lord. Lord Jesus receive me as I repent of my sin and accept your great Salvation by your Blood of Atonement, and I seek Your divine guidance in  my life, to you Lord be the Glory... Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we come to praise You and proclaim You as our Eternal-Sovereign God. Lord today as we stand at the empty cross we acknowledge in Faith that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord we thank You for Your Grace and we thank You for the privilege of serving You Lord. Lord bless our Visitors and Precious Lord take our hands and lead us unto Your Kingdom, as look to that day when we shall see You Lord as You are. Lord grant Your favors to all that call on You and to You, Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.
