Devotionals for Thursday:  November 30, 2017

Even now!  It’s not too late to know Him… Enter your name here, Yes, Lord I am here, save me.

You may say… “why do I need to be saved” I am a good person, I never stole anything, I have been faithful to wife and family, I am active in many clubs servicing my fellow humans. We will refer to this person as the ‘Self-Righteous one’.

Now, for a person like who we just described above, he really doesn’t need much help if he plans to remain here on earth forever.  But remaining here on earth till the end of time is not too secure a place, as the above person will just be buried in a box and laid in death. Now for Christians, they are ‘Laid to Rest’ as they are awaiting the return of the Lord, but their Soul is absent from the body and present with the Lord.  The Self-Righteous One never is in his final place, but his soul will also transition to a permanent place.

But, know this… There’s only one way to a Kingdom other than the place called hell. And there’s only one Mediator that can present you to His Father, and He intercedes for us by His Righteousness and His Divine Grace.  Again, we ask… So why do I have to come to Christ? Because the self-righteous one would much prefer to be reunited with his loved ones in that Kingdom other than Hell.

You may say… I am now confused, remember I never stole, I have been faithful, I am honest, and I live a clean life. Yes, all this is good but not good enough’ because we all are born with that blemish called Sin.  How is that?

Romans 5:17

For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! In Context | Full Chapter |

So, I was created by a God, a God who is Merciful and He is kind, so why would I an individual that never asked to be born or chose my parents need to seek forgiveness for a sin I never had a part of.  Yes, you did have a part of the original sin.

What is that original Sin? God did instruct Adam and Eve as follows:

Genesis 3:3

but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ In Context | Full Chapter |

They did break His command, and the above text refers to ‘you will die’ and this is referring to the ‘second’ death.

So, Mr. Self-Righteous will die a second death, without Christ.  And the reason is within each of us there is that inherent mark of sin.  This sis is not a superficial idea imposed on Adam’s offspring, it was an emblazed Word that made all following Adam to be sinners…  but by the Grace of God, He sent His Son Jesus…

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 3:17

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

In Context | Full Chapter

So, when the Text above said… ‘for God so loved the world’ it is meant to say that For God so loved ‘Us’ who are in the world.  Because on the ‘Day of the Lord’ Earth and all in this world will be left ‘Bare’ a barren place just like the planet Mars.

So, there’s no ‘Self-Righteous’ one because is there were then Christ would have died in vain. And we cannot go to the Father without Jesus as our Redeemer. And as said… that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No, one comes to the Father except through me.

Devotionals for Wednesday:  November 29, 2017

God is never too busy, or too distinguished to hear us, our Lord Jesus who is God is forever faithful

Have you ever forgotten to return a call because the person was not one of your close friends or business associates? Was it because you were too busy, travelling or simply considered that it was not a priority to speak with that person?  that missed call could be a very important call to the person at the other end.

Even when you accepted the call be a good listener…  as the person calling may need help. I had such a call that was a call for help. This is a very poignant situation that touches my heart whenever I reflect on that occasion as the caller died a few days after he called.

We must remember that God uses ordinary people for His missions…

Text: Nahum 1:3 (NKJV)

3 The Lord is slow to anger and great in power,

And will not at all acquit the wicked.

The Lord has His way

In the whirlwind and in the storm,

And the clouds are the dust of His feet.

Commentary:  Nahum wrote his vision around 612 BC and his warning was to the Syrians and to the Tribe of Judah… So, we see back 612 years before the Birth of Christ, the Syrians were described as brutally cruel, known as Nineveh. This is where God sent Jonah.  Now we see why Jonah tried to hide and runaway from God by not going to Nineveh.  Today Syria is the biggest news of its civil war.

Let’s take a brief look at the life of Joseph, here was a young man sold into slavery, but his new master was the chief administrator of the Pharaoh’s kingdom, He was falsely accused by his bosses’ wife, put in prison, released from prison and became the number one administrator of Pharaoh’s kingdom, saved the nation from a major famine, his brothers who sold him came to buy grains and he gave them the grains and then had the permission of his boss to bring his father and brothers to live in a land of plenty.

Does this sound familiar? Is Joseph’s life similar to our Lord?  Joseph’s Coat of many colors was taken from him, he suffered under the hands of men when he was innocent, but he was triumphant in the end.  Think of the similarities in Jesus’ life. So, we may say Joseph was a fore-runner to our Lord Jesus. The difference is that instead of a family with brothers that he saved, Jesus came to save the world, and His Salvation is not to the land of Goshen, but to an everlasting place of Splendor. Jesus did not have a dream, Jesus had a plan, and His plan as revealed in the Gospel which is the Good News of His Redemption through His Divine Resurrection which is what we proclaim here today.

Principle:  We cannot purchase one of the place that our Lord is preparing, it is only received by a Grant, a Grant from God through His Son Jesus our Redeemer.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Ephesians 1:7 (NIV)

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

Conclusion: God’s Providence is paramount to all of what this world can offer. Because what this world offers are all temporary. We may have some fulfillment when we get that new car, but in a few years, it will be ready to be considered a means of transportation that we must start looking to replace. All our fine clothes, shoes, etc. will need replacing. Nothing last forever, only the love of our Sovereign God. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

What Jesus said… “I will never leave you nor forsake you” this is a statement that will be forever…

Therefore, we can focus at: Titus 2:13-14 (NIV)

13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

Action/Coming to our Lord:   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God… Romans 8:14 NKJV

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus Lord Jesus we thank You for the to bring Your Good News to many in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus.  Lord let your servants be equipped and Lord let us go that extra mile to reach as many for You my Lord as You said to go to the ends of the Earth and to Proclaim You as our Lord and Redeemer, Lord Jesus we Praise You and thank You for our Visitors and this privilege. Lord Jesus bless our Visitors and let what we do be a blessing to them as we ask Your favors upon us all.  We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Imagine a King who knows you and me by name…

In the USA we do not have a sovereign king, in the UK, Spain and many sovereign countries have monarchy.

Yes, we however do have a Sovereign King who is King of all kings, and Lord of all lords. And He is Jesus ‘The’ Christ.

Known as Jesus Christ, many may not be aware that Christ was not Jesus’ family name.  ‘The Christ’ means God’s Anointed Holy One. Jesus-Yeshua chosen from day-one of the Creation.  Jesus came, as God said… “Let there be Light” and there was Light.  Jesus is the light of this world and the world to come, and more so, He is the Light of our souls.

1 Timothy 6:15

As we look forward to Christmas, again we revisit…’Christ’ for the Masses thereby the acronym of why the birth day of Christ is called; ‘Christ-mas’…

So, affirming that Christ came to save the masses, and masses means you and me. Meaning of… mass·es

‘To gather or be gathered into a mass’.

We are still in ‘exile’ in a land that is no different from the Israel described by Isaiah… Read the entire chapter here:

Isaiah 5:13-15 New International Version (NIV)

13 Therefore my people will go into exile(A)
    for lack of understanding;(B)
those of high rank(C) will die of hunger
and the common people will be parched with thirst.(D)
14 Therefore Death(E) expands its jaws,
    opening wide its mouth;(F)
into it will descend their nobles and masses
with all their brawlers and revelers.(G)
15 So people will be brought low(H)
    and everyone humbled,(I)
the eyes of the arrogant(J) humbled.

So, God knows you by your name, because even before you were conceived…

Isaiah 43:1

But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. In Context | Full Chapter |

A descendant from Abraham.

Romans 11:   Ingrafted Branches (Through Jesus we are neither Jews nor Gentiles, but Oneness in Christ)

11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all!(Q) Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles(R)to make Israel envious.(S) 12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles,(T) how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!

Lord Jesus… today in Awe we come knowing that Your Saving Grace abounds in our lives, and as You have engrafted us together in Oneness in You Lord Jesus, we affirm Your Power and Your Glory. Lord bless our endeavors and our Visitors as we go in faith knowing that we can do all thing through You Lord Jesus according to Your Righteousness and Your Heavenly riches. Thank You Lord for Your faithful Providence as You know our needs. To you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday November 27th, 2017

How underserving, yet…His Grace abounds. His Love, and His Providence He also gave…

knock, knock...

‘I am from the Government and I am here to help you’… how does this offer stack up to the offer from our Lord Jesus?

Text:  Matthew 11:28-29 New International Version (NIV)

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Commentary: Offer number one may be valid, but the extent of help will be temporary, the offer from Jesus is a ‘permanent’ solution…In life we can be enabled by an enabler or be empowered by the source of Power.

Who is this source of power?  Answer…  Of God.

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

(We presented the Text in both the NIV & the NKJV)

Notice the text above speaks in past tense, this means The Spirit of God is already ‘given’ and it gives us Power!  Did you receive yours? Sometime ago we spoke of ‘Unclaimed benefits ‘. Today’s message is not a ‘prosperity’ theme; it is a message of Christ’s Grace.

God does not want His people to be under-served, so why is some not receiving the answers to prayers? James 4:3

When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. James 4:2-4 (in Context) James 4 (Whole Chapter)

700+- Years before the Birth of Christ, Isaiah the prophet to whom God revealed His assurance…

When you pass through the waters,
    I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
    you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2 New International Version (NIV)

Today 2017 years later, the same assurance is endowed to us… So, we can thank our Faithful Lord and Savior Jesus because He is the same yesterday, today and forever.  How do we know this? Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:7-9 (in Context) Hebrews 13 (Whole Chapter)

Principle: 1 Peter 1:25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:24-25 (in Context) 1 Peter 1 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise / His Faithfulness:  2 John 1:2 because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever: 2 John 1:1-3 (in Context) 2 John 1 (Whole Chapter)

Action/Coming to our Lord: John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:16-18 (in Context) John 1 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:  If you are travelling on a country road and the signage is inadequate with no road maps, it is a challenge to find your destination.  Driving for 6 hours from Germany to Geneva Switzerland and arriving at 4 AM, I was unfamiliar with the city, I saw a police station and asked directions, the officer said…” follow me” he turned on his flasher and led me to my hotel. I was very grateful after the long drive.  Today we are travelling on a journey to where?  The destination we all seek is a place of splendor that we believers are looking at our journey’s end. Our Lord is standing by to ‘guide’ us home.  This is what our Lord Jesus said, and His Word is forever.

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 14:5-7 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord thank You that You are the Truth, the Way and in You we have Life-Everlasting. Lord thank You that our journey’s end will be at a place that You have prepared for us. Lord direct our path and lead us to Green Pastures and in You Lord we have Victory knowing that You are the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.  Lord we place all in Your Holy Hands and we thank You for our Visitors and seek Your Divine Blessing on us all. Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You Lord. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, we pray and to You are the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

a Graceful day awaits you today… Praise the Lord and thank Him

John 20:27-29

27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”(A)

28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed;(B) blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Matthew 11:28  TLB

Come to me and I will give you rest—all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. Wear my yoke—for it fits perfectly—and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens.”

Do not use the Ministry or the Gospel for monetary gains nor worldly prominence.  We see Simon the sorcerer tried to ‘buy’ the power of the Holy Spirit… read more;

Acts 8:18-20 Living Bible (TLB)

18 When Simon saw this—that the Holy Spirit was given when the apostles placed their hands upon people’s heads—he offered money to buy this power.

19 “Let me have this power too,” he exclaimed, “so that when I lay my hands-on people, they will receive the Holy Spirit!”

20 But Peter replied, “Your money perishes with you for thinking God’s gift can be bought!

Today the Grace of our Lord Jesus awaits us all, as we come to Him knowing that all good things are from Him, and all things work together for the Good of those who loves Him.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. In Context | Full Chapter |

We are not ‘forgotten’… God is only giving us the privilege of coming to Him, He loves us, so He is allowing us to ‘know’ Him.

Focus:  Scoffers will say… for eons I have heard about the return of Jesus, where is he?   As we address this we will reflect on Jesus telling Phillip that he saw him under the fig-tree before he came to meet him. Just as when Jesus saw Phillip on that day, He is seeing us today as His Power and Glory remain the same… Jesus Christ the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever…

John 1:48

Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 1:50

Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Remember Nathanael was a Scoffer… John 1: Philip and Nathanael

43 The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, “Follow Me.”44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

46 And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”

Philip said to him, “Come and see.”

47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”

48 Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

49 Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

50 Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter[j] you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

The above is an example of the patience of our Lord, and because of His Majestic-Glory He did not need to expose His

“Power” He expressed His ‘LOVE”.  But this same Christ who is God Incarnate will also be a God of a Consuming Fire on that day.  But in Christ we have His Covenant and in Him there is no condemnation those He has made Joint-Heirs.

Prayer: Lord we look up to You our Sovereign Eternal God, Your strength was covered by Your Humbleness and mankind has demonstrated our weakness by exalting ourselves while You the Most High allowed us to ultimately be realized that we can do nothing and in all things, we need You Lord. Lord we thank You for the many blessings and we come giving You our Praises. Lord bless our Visitors and grant each one Your Peace and for this season of celebrating Your Coming Lord, we give You the Glory and Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday:  November 25, 2017

Nothing held-back in defense of the Gospel… No compromise, going by Faith & Grace.

We spoke of…’Can we change the course of our lives?’  The answer is…

For Saul, who became Paul, he did not change the course of his life, Jesus made the Divine change.

Nothing is held back when you are chosen by God.

And no compromise will be made.  Paul chosen as God’s vessel to bring the Good News of the Gospel to Jews and Gentiles. Paul wrote to:  Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Colossians, Philippians, Philemon, and 1 Thessalonians. These Books plus three Pastoral letters written by Paul, while imprisoned.

(Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon) Yet, he did not co0mpromize his conviction of his belief in Jesus and continued to expound the love of Christ.

Paul’s teaching…

Colossians 2:11-15  (NKJV)

Not Legalism but Christ

11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Romans 6  (NKJV)

Dead to Sin, Alive to God

6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

From Slaves of Sin to Slaves of God

15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. 18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans Re-Affirmed the Everlasting Love of Christ, and His GRACE is all I have. And to Abide in Him knowing that my Redeemer Lives, and I shall see Him on that day.

Darkness and Light cannot co-mingle.  The law of God’s Spirituality in some ways are relative to the laws of Physic.  Water and Fire cannot co-exit. So, being alive cannot co-exist with death, be alive in Christ, and stop placing Him back on the cross when we sin.

Heavenly Father by Your Grace through Jesus our Lord and savior, we thank You and Lord Jesus our Messiah We Praise You and seek Your Divine Blessing on our Visitors and us all. Thank You Lord for Your Providence and Your Redeeming Power, in Your Holy Name we pray, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Gaining ‘All’ by Christ, and for Christ.  This true gain, and can never be lost…

Whatever I have gained, I gained it through Christ, and all that I am given is for Him. Writer of this page; Good News Forever

Philemon 1:7 TLB

I myself have gained much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because your kindness has so often refreshed the hearts of God’s people. In Context | Full Chapter

The verse above was written by Paul while in chains in prison.  Paul took delight  in the news of Philemon’s walk with the Lord. Paul has ‘Inner’ Joy, while surrounded by the Bars and the prison guards, yet, Paul wrote of ‘JOY’.

Hebrews 12: 28 Since we have a Kingdom nothing can destroy, let us please God by serving him with thankful hearts and with holy fear and awe. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Joy is eternal, unlike happiness, Joy is from the Lord, as we ‘Rejoice’ in the Lord Jesus today may not have the mindset of Joy.  But, Joy is within reach in a flash, the twinkling of an eye, by knowing Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:52  The Living Bible… It will all happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For there will be a trumpet blast from the sky, and all the Christians who have died will suddenly become alive, with new bodies that will never, never die; and then we who are still alive shall suddenly have new bodies too.

Yesterday America celebrated Thanksgiving Day.  And to many this day is a day of missing loved ones, but those in Christ have the Inner-Peace from the Lord.

So, those absent from your earthly gather, believers know they are in the presence of the Lord…

Devotionals for Thursday:   Thanksgiving Day November 23, 2017

The Future is ‘Now’… What? Yes… While today may not look like there’s much to be thankful for, because your plan did not come together as you expected.  Remember God’s plan is what counts. So, while proceeding in faith, just trust Him and all things will be more than fine.

So, as America celebrates Thanksgiving Day, it is a day that is set aside for a national event.  Our daily prayers of thanking the Lord is more than a ritualistic motion, it should be a experientially event, as our Lord provides all of our needs.

Be at the Table of Grace, stay away from the table of greed… God loves you so give Him thanks and Praise Him...

TEXT: John 6:25-27 Good News Translation (GNT)

Jesus the Bread of Life

25 When the people found Jesus on the other side of the lake, they said to him, “Teacher, when did you get here?”

26 Jesus answered, “I am telling you the truth: you are looking for me because you ate the bread and had all you wanted, not because you understood my miracles. 27 Do not work for food that spoils; instead, work for the food that lasts for eternal life. This is the food which the Son of Man will give you, because God, the Father, has put his mark of approval on him.”

Focus:  Give thanks for His Graciousness first, and then thank our Lord Jesus for His Providence. Remember the crowd that were following Jesus? He said you seek me because of the food that you received… while we are reflecting on this statement from Jesus, today we are thanking our Lord not just for the meal, the things that he provided, but above all we thank Him for Who HE is… He is the great I AM…  So Lord we thank You for remembering us, and Lord we thank You for Your unconditional love, we thank You for Your Redemption and Lord we thank You for the privilege of knowing You Lord Jesus.

Today as we dedicate this day to Thanking You Lord we acknowledge that You have throughout the year granted Your Divine Grace and we thank You Lord for the YOU as You Lord Jesus is our reward…

Matthew 26: 26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Lord as You said…   Luke 22:19 [Full Chapter]

Then he took a piece of bread, gave thanks to God, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”

Lord You have said:

John 4:14

but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Matthew 6 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Giving to the Poor and Prayer

6 “Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.

2 “So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come… Lord today as we thank You for Your Graciousness and Your Divide Redemption, Lord Your unconditional love for us we acknowledge. Because you know our heart knowing that we are no different from those that You mentioned that sought You because of what they received. Lord we acknowledge Your Divine Grace Your Sacrifice and that it is by Your Blood of Atonement that we are saved by your Grace.  Lord as we observe this day of giving thanks, we thank You Lord Jesus knowing that You Lord Jesus is Sovereign and Eternal and Lord Jesus we thank You for our Visitors and we thank You for Your Providence. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Praise: Great is Thy faithfulness…

Devotionals for Wednesday November 22nd, 2017

Is Heaven like a 5-Star Resort?  No need to guess, the Bible revealed this… read more;

There are Five Stars and Five Diamond Resorts starting price of $39,000 per night. Yet all these are simply buildings situated on an island surrounded by the beauty of the Lord. So, to spend a lavish week that will cost you more than a quarter of a million dollars, this ought to be a memorable vacation.  But the word is memorable, therefore after leaving, all the luxuries and amenities they are left behind.

Compare the above to a place that the Lord has provided, a place He referred to as Paradise…

A place that will be our permanent abode. Imagine No daily rates, no rent, no time limits, no checkout time, and endless beauty. This is Paradise as described by Jesus.

The Lord did not place His utmost emphasis of the place called Paradise, He place His utmost emphasis on His care upon us.  So, as we read in Romans 6:

As we continue in our journey facing the constant battle of temptations and knowing that Christ died for our Sins, and as we affirm that  sin’s power over us was broken when we became Christians and were baptized to become a part of Jesus Christ; through his death the power of your sinful nature was shattered.

Romans 6 Living Bible (TLB)

6 Well then, shall we keep on sinning so that God can keep on showing us more and more kindness and forgiveness?

2-3 Of course not! Should we keep on sinning when we don’t have to? For sin’s power over us was broken when we became Christians and were baptized to become a part of Jesus Christ; through his death the power of your sinful nature was shattered.

4 Your old sin-loving nature was buried with him by baptism when he died; and when God the Father, with glorious power, brought him back to life again, you were given his wonderful new life to enjoy.

5 For you have become a part of him, and so you died with him, so to speak, when he died; and now you share his new life and shall rise as he did.

6 Your old evil desires were nailed to the cross with him; that part of you that loves to sin was crushed and fatally wounded, so that your sin-loving body is no longer under sin’s control, no longer needs to be a slave to sin;

7 for when you are deadened to sin you are freed from all its allure and its power over you.

8 And since your old sin-loving nature “died” with Christ, we know that you will share his new life.

9 Christ rose from the dead and will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him.

10 He died once for all to end sin’s power, but now he lives forever in unbroken fellowship with God.

11 So look upon your old sin nature as dead and unresponsive to sin, and instead be alive to God, alert to him, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So, today celebrate the Glory of the Lord as…  I can never stop thanking God for all the wonderful gifts he has given you, now that you are Christ’s: he has enriched your whole life. He has helped you speak out for him and has given you a full understanding of the truth; 1 Corinthians 1:4-5 TLB

Principle: Romans 5: 8  (NASB)

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Colossians 2:9-10 (NASB) 9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, 10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;

To come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we bring Your Good News of Salvation to many, we seek Your blessings on our Visitors and Lord remove the scales from our eyes, and lead us to Green Pastures and Your Still Water of Life. We Praise You Lord and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday:   November 21st, 2017

What is your ‘Ideal-destination’? a dream cruise, a world-tour? Remember they all ends…

Remember when you went on a trip, enjoying the beach, the dining and the sight-seeing? And on the last day leaving it is like leaving home…

Sometime leaving may be a different experience as it could be a relief leaving for home. But in most instances that mini-vacation can be good and be filled with good times to be remembered.

But all good things must come an end… but the real thing at the real and permanent place will never end. Where?  In God’s Kingdom.

Let’s us first review being ‘Enlightened’ defined as… Enlighten definition, to give intellectual or spiritual light to; instruct; impart knowledge.

So being ‘enlightened’ you have received the Spiritual-Light and His Holy Spirit imparts the Knowledge of His Word upon you.

Know this… as said yesterday, your Spiritual-Light will never fade, even when you depart this world. Because the Bible said… To be absent from the Body is to be present with the Lord.

Heaven in as real as that nice Vacation sport that we mentioned above, but it is permanent, and it is far better, as described below:

Revelation 21New King James Version (NKJV)

All Things Made New

21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also, there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

Remember… that Jesus said… 7 “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son”.

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

His Faithfulness:

He is coming again… 1 Thessalonians 4:17

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught  up  together with thein the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (in Context) 1 Thessalonians 4 (Whole Chapter)

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Come to our Lord while there’s still time, seek Him while He can be found…

In conclusion, the Bible statements are accepted as the Truth, and nothing but the Truth, and where we will be? Read above… It states clearly that we will be caught up together with thein the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever.

Father in Jesus our Savior we come, Lord Jesus our Redeemer we acknowledge today that You are not of this world and that you have prepared a place for us. Lord we thank you for Your assurance that You will return and where You are we will be with You Lord. In Faith we come and in Faith we go following Your instructions to bring the Good News to the ends of the Earth. We will be a bearer of Your Message till that day Lord, we ask Your blessing upon our Visitors today and by Your Divine Powers, bestow on us all Your Blessings and Your favors, as we follow You to Green Pastures. In Your Name We Pray Lord Jesus to You be the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday:  November 20th, 2017

Can we change the course of our lives? Yes… by making a decision, to follow Jesus

What is your goal for this week? Is it to finish a current project or start a new one?

Text: James 1 New International Version (NIV)

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,

Trials and Temptations

2. Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3. because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5.  If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

Commentary:  Giving our Lord Jesus Christ the Glory, because we can do nothing without Christ, but with Jesus all things are possible.  All of what we plan to do or are currently doing, without the blessings of our Lord it is in vain.

Just like the journey to the Promised-Land, the Israelites failed to apply one key factor… “FAITH” they depended on their own understanding by lacking faith.  Because as they journeyed the looked at God bringing up the rear, He is leading.  We must identify His leadership and follow Him. Our finite plans are limited for a specific time, His plan is infinite, as He said…” I am not of this world”, therefore God’s plan is out of this world.

The excitement of moving into a new house, driving that new car out of the dealership, and having money in the bank, all these are still ‘temporary’. This is where ‘Estate-Planning’ comes into effect… all of the planning lacks one thing, what is this one thing? Eternity… The world’s landscape is dotted with magnificent estates, build by men, and guess what? These are just museums, places such as; The Hearst Castle in California, Versailles in France, and the most poignant of all is the Taj mahal in Agra, India which is a tomb

Our plan for this week should be to include our Lord in the planning process making Jesus the Author and Finisher of the Plan. We must step back and follow His lead; we are like ‘ants’ in the scope of His ‘Heavenly-Realms’.  Because the new house, the new car, and those mansions are all similar to the ruins found in the jungle.  ‘Machu-Picchu’ being one of the most famous of all ruins, the inhabitants all passed, yet the buildings are reverting back to dust.

So, recognizing that God gave us the answer to all of the above… The Good News of Christ’s Redemption, because He ‘Redeemed’ us and made us a ‘Joint-Heir’ in a Kingdom not made by human hands, and it will remain Un-Shaken.  A place where the streets are paved with Gold.

Principle: Claim His Redemption today, it is like a coupon that must be accepted and presented… This is the Seal of the Atoning Blood of Christ.  Unless we stand and receive this, we cannot claim it. It is freely given, but we must accept Him knowing that He is our Redeemer.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: John 15: 5 (NKJV) Jesus said…” I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing”.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Jesus also said… Luke 9:23 NKJV Then He said to them all, “If anyone desire to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.”   Where is He leading us?  To Glory, to His Kingdom, a place our Lord Jesus called Paradise.

Yet for a while we are here, until that day when He calls us home, we must do this… Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good work. Titus 2: 13-14 (NKJV)

Come to Jesus just as you are, without one plea of defense as we are all sinners…

Pray: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come… Lord as You have patiently dealt with me and granted Your Grace, today I accept Your invitation to come and be renewed by You and to receive Your Holy Spirit as I come and accept Your Love and Redemption and go placing You first in my life. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen.

Prayer: Thank You Father through our Lord Jesus we can boldly come to You knowing that whoever calls upon Your name Lord shall be saved. We thank You for the privilege of spreading Your Good News and we thank You for the Visitors in English, Chinese and Spanish, Lord be with each one and Lord bless our endeavors as it is done for Your Glory Lord. We thank You Lord and pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:   November 19, 2017

Gain strength from the Light of Jesus, just like a plant it needs ‘Light’ to grow and so do we.

Even the details of how a plant uses Light turning it into a complex combination of chemicals causing the growth of the plant’s cell…

Why Good Light is Essential

Photosynthesis is the process whereby plants turn the energy of light into their own building materials. They combine water and carbon dioxide (and a minute amount of other elements) into the complex chemicals their cells are made of.

The amazing transmittal of heat and light unpacked from a burning log…

When you burn a log of wood all heat coming off is the sun’s light the tree absorbed now being re-emitted…

So, we humans are more dependent on the Good Light from the One who is the Light of the World, the world being our own Body and Soul.

John 8:12 [Full Chapter]

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Though the Eternal Light of Jesus, we are fully charged to become a reflection of His enduring Light, so, let your Light so shine before all bearing His Good News… The News of Salvation.

Matthew 5:14

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

The Word of the Lord never fades, He said when you are ‘Enlightened’ and His Light is instilled in us, it will never fade. And this applies even to those that pass away from this world, as their Light continues… The Soul is who you are and us all.  Therefore, as we shed the earthly tent, the Soul transition to the presence of the Lord.

A camera was invented that captures the Soul leaving the body… an amazing claim?  Yes and no, because the Bible makes this claim.  As stated...

2 Corinthians 5:8

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

Luke 23:43

And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Jesus demonstrated this as he said to the repentant thief on the cross.

Paul wrote about taking this trip, but he was sent back to continue the mission of what Jesus chose him to do. While Paul spoke in the ‘Third-party’ he was speaking of his own experience when he was taken outside the city and left for dead after been beaten.

2 Corinthians 12:4

how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Humanity is still a primitive being, as we talk of Quantum-Physics.  Just like eastern medicine of acupuncture that is a method of realigning the meridian… The ancient Chinese modality of acupuncture is being recognized more and more in the west as both a practical and advanced technique for many purposes; including pain relief and over-all realignment. Based on knowledge of the body’s energy systems known as meridians, acupuncture seeks to open the flow of once blocked passageways in order to allow the body to heal itself.

Revelation 2:7

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” In Context | Full Chapter

Affirmation by Jesus…

John 8:12

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Colossians 1: The Incomparable Christ

13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus thank You for lighting the way and through Your Grace we have reconciliation with the Father. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and seek Your Divine blessing on s all. We give You preeminence in our lives. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore... Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday:   November 18, 2017

Be alert…    Look beyond the façade, but not to pre-judge, test the spirit and know that it is not a wolf….

1 John 4 [Full Chapter]

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. ...

We are told not to ‘pre-judge’ but to discern, which is defined as to separate or distinguish, to separate by the eye, or by the understanding.

A recent experience of someone we met, and he quickly disclosed he was a Christian… this certainly placed us at ease.  As the meeting progressed he presented his credentials of banking and as an energy (oil & gas) trader.  He came to make us an offer to acquire and interest in a business that we sought to sell.  On our second contact, he then revealed he was also in the category of what we presented. We subsequently found that this was not so, but was applying what he gathered from us he embarked on trying to do what we presented to him.

In life the story of the Bees and the Wasp…  and it is said that they both went through the same training, the Wasp left after learning how to make the Comb, and the Bees stayed on and completed the training of how to make the honey and fill the comb.  As we all know Wasps do not make honey, so a little knowledge is not enough.

One thing for sure… Philippians 4: 9  (NKJV)

The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Philippians 4: 19  And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

So, we shall abide by these Words…

Philippians 4: Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things arejust, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Forgiveness is the cornerstone of your own health.  To forgive is healthy and to be forgiven is an act of grace.

Everyone say forgiveness is a good idea until they have something to forgive
