Devotionals for Saturday October 31st, 2015

Focus:  What is the new plague of our generation? Guess what? It’s man-made, designer drugs, and other chemical substance.

Think of this… Is there a conspiracy against our society? Why do we need the school system to dispense an addictive drug…? Ritalin?

A major factor is the growing popularity of Ritalin, a drug prescribed for hyperactive children and those with short attention spans, which calms them and helps them concentrate. This has become a form of ‘recreational drug’ and is severely abused.

Was this intended to be the ‘prelude’ to growing a nation of addicts? It’s a good thing that this drug Ritalin was not around when Einstein went to school, because he would have been declared Attention deficit

News headline…  Drug-dispensing Role Swells into a Bitter Pill for Schools…

It's that trend to medicate that has sent the number of student prescriptions soaring.

Ritalin is the common name for methylphenidate, classified by the Drug Enforcement Administration as a Schedule II narcotic—the same classification as cocaine, morphine and amphetamines.1 It is abused by teens for its stimulant effects.

So what does this have to do with the Daily-Devotional?  The above real-life fact is an alarming trend. And we cannot blame the parents as society imposed this on the parent by the school system, the alternative to having the kids being exposed to this spawned the national growth of the Home-Schooling network.

So our Daily devotional which is more like a blog is pointing to the ills of society and to what Jesus said…” I am not of this world”

God’s plan will not be over-ruled by men, but we want to reflect on what Jesus said…”I am not of this world” so when we read of the disciples and learning that of the twelve, 10 were martyred, (Judas committed suicide) all except John lived to write about the coming days… Therefore, it was God’s plan to take the 10 martyrs home to paradise, just as how he did not save Stephen from the stoning to death but welcomed him home, and even John the Baptist, he allowed Herod to behead him because Jesus knew it was time for them to leave this earth, He did save Paul when he was stoned by the crowd and cast out of town to die, but Paul was revived to continue as the Vessel of our Lord Jesus as he chose Paul to be the bearer of His Good News to the Gentiles.

EVENING:

Good News -His Faithfulness:

We have Victory in Jesus our Lord

Romans 5 New International Version (NIV) Peace and Hope

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus thank You for hearing us as we stand at the Cross knowing that You rose triumphantly and ascended to the Throne of Righteousness and by Your Grace Lord we are saved. What a privilege that You have given us to stand in Victory, Lord we Thank You for bringing over 270,000 visitors to this site, as we serve You for Your Glory. We are privileged to be Your Messenger Lord. Bless our visitors and let Your messages bring many to you Lord Jesus, as it is for Your Kingdom Lord. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday October 30th, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  Assurance versus insurance… Philippians 1: 6 gives us His assurance that he will complete His good work in us

We reflect back at the ‘Lifetime warranty’ issued for a product, and as we said, the ‘lifetime’ is not for the product, it tied to ‘your’ lifetime. Therefore the warranty expires upon death…

In God’s Kingdom there will be no banks, no credit cards, no installment plans and no debt

Thoughts for the day: While you are here your car, your house and what you own will still cost you for Taxes and Insurance

TEXT:  Ecclesiastes 29:  This is all that I have learned: God made us plain and simple, but we have made ourselves very complicated.

Commentary:

There are people trying to live off the Grid, (No hook up to power, just Solar and or Wind.) unless you are one of the un-contacted tribes remaining in the world, then living in any country it will cost you.

So let us learn more of our Lord’s Grace, and the more we learn of the love of Christ, the more we are comforted.  The statement of ‘The more you know, the more it hurts’ is based on the  more we know of the un-saved masses, the more it hurts, therefore we are to have a zeal to bring the Good News of the Gospel that our Lord Jesus fulfilled to the ends of the earth as commanded by our Lord Jesus.  We affirm that Solomon’s facts of life did in all instances respected and gave God the highest place in all of what he wrote.

Romans 8: 28-39

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

His Promise:

Our God is a Loving God but He is also a God of a consuming fire,

Hebrews 12: 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

Timothy, said in… 1 Timothy 1:15
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. 1 Timothy 1:14-16 (in Context) 1 Timothy 1 (Whole Chapter)

EVENING:

The Ministry of Jesus was to reach sinners, and He met with them, dined and saved many… His message yesterday is the same today.

2 Corinthians 8:9 New International Version (NIV)

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Romans 5:10 New International Version (NIV)

10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

Come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come in Your Holy Presence. Lord we thank you for Your Unconditional love and we Praise You and thank You for the privilege of serving You.  Lord thank You for our Visitors and we ask that this endeavors will spread like a wild –fire for Your Glory.  We give You the Gory and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen

 Victory in Jesus.

Devotionals for Thursday October 29th, 2015

Morning:

Focus:    Have you received a little of God’s correction lately, we hope you did, because if you did it because He loves you…

This is to  a reference that we can only be a Christian, you cannot be a ‘Good’ Christian or a ‘Bad’ Christian, because Jesus said, Slaves do not live in the house, only the ‘Son’ lives in His House. To be a ‘Slave’ to sin we are not going to live in his house. But we must thank the Lord Jesus for His Grace as it is only by his Grace than one can be saved…

The Lord wants us to be without compromise…

15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot. I will vomit you out of My mouth.   Revelation 3: 15-16 NKJV

The Lord does not want us to be ‘Lukewarm’ and an example of this we can see why He chose Saul on the road to Damascus, why would Jesus choose Saul who was an avid persecutor of Christians?, because He looked at Saul as a person who was not ‘Lukewarm’ but was ‘hot’ to arrest Christian, therefore when Paul was stuck down and chosen to be a ‘Vessel’ for Christ, Saul later known as Paul became one of Jesus’ most formidable messenger to bring the Good News to the Gentiles.

Parents correct their children because they love them, the same with God’s relationship with His own…

Hebrews 12:8 Amplified Bible (AMP) Now if you are exempt from correction and without discipline, in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate children and not sons [at all].

Hebrews 12:8 King James Version (KJV)

But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Hebrews 12:8 New Living Translation (NLT)

If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all.

Count it as a blessing that we are ‘corrected’ by our Father who cares and loves us so much that we are not ignored to slide into the abyss of sins.

The Lord wants us to be filled with a zeal (fervor for a person, cause, or object; eager desire or endeavor; enthusiastic diligence; ardor.) but not fanatical in serving Him.

One may ask why must I serve the Lord and not serve myself.  Because God created us to be loved and to love Him, we serve ourselves by loving our Creator as he has empowered you to be a child of the Most High.

EVENING:

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Come to Him today and be privileged as a Joint-Heir in Christ our Lord to His Kingdom.  Your presence will be welcomed.

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that through You our Savior we are made Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom. We are privileged to serve You Lord Jesus through this Good News network, Lord we pray that our Visitors will be guided by Your Good News and that they will be brought to You Lord; Lord as we bring your message to our Visitors, instill in their hearts to spread the Good News that You our Redeemer Lives.  Lord bless this day as we go forward in Faith and knowing that all our needs are provided and we give You thanks knowing that Your faithfulness and Your Covenant will never change. We pray in Your Holy name and to You Jesus our Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory, Now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday October 15th, 2015

Focus:  What can you enjoy today? You can delight yourself in the best, Read Psalm 37: 4-5 His radiance will reflect to others when you walk in His shadow

Text: Psalm 37:4-5 Good News Translation (GNT)

Seek your happiness in the Lord,
and he will give you your heart's desire.

Give yourself to the Lord;
    trust in him, and he will help you;

Matthew 5:16 New King James Version (NKJV)

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Commentary:  The ‘good-works’ are from our Lord, unless we stand in His light all of our goodness is like a filthy rag; but when He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith, then we are justified by his Righteousness so that we can bring Him the Glory as only He is Holy.

Our Lord said we are all of a ‘Chosen-Generation’; therefore you are called to His mission… to lead the way by His ‘Radiance’

John 1 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Deity of Jesus Christ

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Commentary:

On the first day God said…”Let there be light and there was Light” but He did not yet created the Sun, there was a diffusion of Light in a Gaseous form, but God declared let there be Light and then He said it was Good…

If the Sun was not yet created what was the source of this Light?  We must first look at John 1. In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Now we see the Light that God Declared... ”Let there be Light” This will be revealed as we go to chapter 9… 9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Colossians 1: The Incomparable Christ

13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

His Creation is above man’s comprehension, as many are trying to bring the evolutionist theory into the school curriculum, our take on Evolution is; if evolution was a fact, then why is the ape that is in the Zoo for almost 35-40 years still sitting in his cage? If evolution was a fact, this old guy would be out driving around in his new Mercedes-Benz. Are we to assume that evolution is like the ‘Singing’ Frog, the story of the man while excavating the foundation for a building  he came across a box, he opened it and there was a Frog that started to sing like Al Jolson… so he figured he could make a lot of money by putting this Frog on stage, but each time he had a sold out theater, the frog would not sing, but right after refunding the patrons’ money, the Frog started to sing, he repeated this until he was broke, the moral of the store here, never believe in a Frog doing more than just croaking….

The good News:

His Faithfulness:

Creation is His painting with the beauty and wonder of it all
What kind of God would God be if he did not communicate with us?
So God speaks through His Word; the Word is Christ
God's enjoyment of what He was doing in creating the heavens & the earth. And us he said it was Good
God really made it all for man because He loved us His great design was by intelligent design
The Christian doctrine of creation is that God made this all for us, as He gave us dominion over everything
We fail to appreciate his creation as He made it all for us, so thank Him for the majesty of His marvelous creation We are privileged of being made in His likeness.

Principle: God delights in his creation
God placed us here to enjoy the worship of him and the intimacy of his love for us.

Conclusion:

What is Man that our God is so concerned with our well-being? He created us, He numbered our days, and He also made a way for us to be in Eternity with Him.  Because the Eden Restored will be sinless and pure not because we are capable of being good on our own, He died for our sin, and He has prepared a ‘Sanctified’ Place which is Sinless and we humans will be Transformed, and be in a place of Splendor where our Eternal Sovereign God will radiate His Love and His Holy Spirit that will abide in us will in keep us in Harmony with our Lord.

Prayer:

Father we come today in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that You are the Light of the World, and that on the first day, as our Creator said…”Let there be light” and there was light, Lord we also read that our Creator did not create the Sun until the fourth day, so therefore Lord, it was Your Divine Radiance that illuminated the darkness. Lord we thank You for Your Love and we are privileged to serve You knowing that You are the same yesterday and forever. Lord bless our Visitors to this Website, grant Your Favors to all Lord, as we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Wednesday October 14th, 2015

Focus:  Are we there yet? No, we are not forgotten by God…

The massive migration of people displaced by the war and other conflicts is a current news item.  The journey to the Promised-Land was a more epic event, Moses led millions through the desert to Canaan, and the Lord did not forget them, in fact he cared for them while ‘training’ them in preparation to enter the Promised-Land.

We are all a ‘Diaspora’ of some sort. Why? Wide-Spread changes are making many feel like we are a foreigner.

TEXT:     Romans 5:12
Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ ] Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—
Romans 5:11-13 (in Context) Romans 5 (Whole Chapter)

Look what our fore-parents gave up for what we have today? They squandered it for a lifetime of challenges,

Commentary:

By one man Sin entered the world, our Creator was not surprised by Adam & Eve of their falling for the serpent’s temptation.  The Good News is that God forgave us and gave us His Priceless Gift, but… ”we must receive it to own it”.

Genesis 2: 15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

While Adam and Eve were casted out of the Garden of Eden, they were not classified as Diaspora as they were not driven out by adversity, they were ‘displaced’ because of Sin…

The Good News for us all - His Priceless Gift

This is the reason why He came to Redeem us… Because He said “you will certainly die, He had to do a ‘Re-set’ and His Re-set is through Jesus Christ who paid-it-all by His redemption. “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation." - II Corinthians 5:18-19

We who are believers need to do our part as the commission of our Lord was to proclaim His message of the Good News that He Rose Triumphantly and HE is alive on the Throne of Righteousness and He is waiting to receive those that come to Him for His Redemption. There’s so much to tell, as we recite the key things we all need to know:

  1. God Created the Heaven and the Earth
  2. God Created us in His Likeness
  3. Because we are Created in the Likeness of God, we too shall live forever.
  4. Jesus is the Son of God and He is Supreme and was there from the beginning of it all
  5. Because we are descendants of Adam, we are all born into Sin.
  6. The Good News is: God Sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us
  7. Jesus Paid It All by His Blood of Atonement.
  8. The Grace of our Lord is extended to us all, and right now is the time of Acceptance
  9. If we Accept our Lord Jesus and repent of our Sin, He will Redeem us by His Blood as a Seal and as a Down/Payment for our Redemption that we will be with our Lord in a Place of Splendor forever.
  10. We also need to let it be known; that while our Lord is a Lord of Love, A Gracious Redeemer and a Patient God, He is also a God of Consuming Fire…
  11. Our Lord said that when we are saved by His Grace we will never be lost, but we must know Him and have a close walk with our Lord; as He will meet all our needs and He will never leave us nor forsake us.

We can come to our Lord Jesus right where we are and he will receive us, and we can have His assurance that we will be saved by His Blood.  As we journey through this life, with a life-span of 70-80-90 or even a hundred years old…we needs to stop and know that He is God; as the bible said; what is Man? That You are mindful of him?  Alexander the Great (356-323 BC) who conquered the Persian Empire, into Egypt and India, died at age 33, at his death he requested that his hands were not to be wrapped and they were to be visible showing that his hands were “Empty” a bold statement while he gained much in life, but in death he could not take anything with him. Let us be mindful of this…

Hebrews 2:6 But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him? Hebrews 2:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 2 (Whole Chapter)

His warning…

John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Isaiah 1:24

24 Therefore the Lord, the Lord Almighty,
the Mighty One of Israel, declares:
“Ah! I will vent my wrath on my foes and avenge myself on my enemies.

EVENING:

Conclusion:

Invitation:

Romans 8:11 New International Version (NIV) 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

His Assurance:

Romans 5:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Matthew 26: 41 NIV

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come to You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and You intercedes for us, Lord. Lord be with our Visitors today and fill us all with Your Holy Spirit and direct our pathways as we seek to be led by Your divine guidance as the Author and Finisher of our Faith.  And by Faith we come and accept You Lord klnowi9ng that all things work for good to those that love You, and in acknowledgement of Your Word, that You will never leave us nor forsake us, Lord we give You the Praise and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday October 13th, 2015

Focus:  Professionals built the Titanic and Amateur built the Ark…

In today’s topic about the Titanic it points to our ‘self-confident’ posture that will lead us to choose the Titanic rather than believing the event of Noah and the Ark. And we know the answer, which is… the Titanic sank and we are here because of the Ark….

TEXT:     Romans 5Good News Translation (GNT)

Right with God

Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. He has brought us by faith into this experience of God's grace, in which we now live. And so we boast of the hope we have of sharing God's glory! We also boast of our troubles, because we know that trouble produces endurance, endurance brings God's approval, and his approval creates hope. This hope does not disappoint us, for God has poured out his love into our hearts by means of the Holy Spirit, who is God's gift to us.

For when we were still helpless, Christ died for the wicked at the time that God chose. It is a difficult thing for someone to die for a righteous person. It may even be that someone might dare to die for a good person.

But God has shown us how much he loves us—it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us! By his blood we are now put right with God; how much more, then, will we be saved by him from God's anger!

10 We were God's enemies, but he made us his friends through the death of his Son. Now that we are God's friends, how much more will we be saved by Christ's life! 11 But that is not all; we rejoice because of what God has done through our Lord Jesus Christ, who has now made us God's friends.

The text affirms that our Lord loves us so much that... But God has shown us how much he loves us—it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us! By his blood we are now put right with God; how much more, then, will we be saved by him from God's anger!

Yes we were created in His likeness and being in His likeness, we will never die. This is why God sent His Son Jesus to die for us.  As we saw that while we are still sinners Jesus died for us.  We also praise our Lord Jesus as our Eternal Sovereign God in One of His Father our Creator in His Holy Trinity. Coming to our Lord Jesus is the greatest step one can take in their life. It is life stepping off the Titanic into one of the few lifeboats that will make it to safety.  So let’s stop re-arranging the Deck Chairs on board this Titanic and reserve our space on the Lifeboat

Conclusion:

“You cannot Test Drive being a Christian to see if you like it or not’

Therefore, it is not possible to get a ‘Provisional Pardon’ you are either Pardoned or Guilty.  And it should be noted that there are no “good Christian’ or a ‘Better Christian’ we can only be a Christian or a sinner.  You see... A Christian is defined as one that is Born-Again and knows the Lord, being born into a Christian Family does not make you a Christian.  Being born in the Rothschild banking family will not make you a banker, as well as being born to parents that are doctors, you are not a doctor. Our Lord was born in a Stable, but He is a King of kings and He is Jesus Messiah.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord today we are Praising You as we can confidently come to you as you have said in You we have Redemption through Your Blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to Your riches by Your Grace. Lord we thank You and we give You first place in our lives knowing that all things work together for good to all who loves you and Lord we thank You for your Unconditional love. Lord be with our Visitors as we thank You for all coming to the three sites that proclaim Your Good News. Lord grants us Your favors as we seek to use all for Your Glory. In Your Holy Name we pray Lord Jesus, to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… AMEN

Focus:  I would rather have Jesus… This is a well-known hymn that we all sing… So when you are tempted sing this.

TEXT:     1 Corinthians 10:13 Living Bible (TLB)

13 But remember this—the wrong desires that come into your life aren’t anything new and different. Many others have faced exactly the same problems before you. And no temptation is irresistible. You can trust God to keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it, for he has promised this and will do what he says. He will show you how to escape temptation’s power so that you can bear up patiently against it.

The old sinful lifestyle must now be replaced with the new life in Christ. This requires the enabling power of the Holy Spirit to replace the old habits with new ones. Avoid companionship with those that influence you to indulge in sinful activities. Make a list of those activities and habits you want changed. Set some positive goals for your life, and with God's strength go after them.

Text:  Matthew 26: 41 Watch and Pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing (To resist the temptation) but the flesh is weak.

Consider that our Creator created man and woman and gave us dominion over all living things. Consider the enormity of Plant Life, Animals, and all species of Aquatic life, Birds and even to the smallest ant. And as we speak about Ants, this specie that builds their little kingdom with the hierarchy of a Queen and an army of workers. The same applies to the Bees that form colonies and is governed by a form of hierarchy, The Bees also has ‘Drone’ these are the male Bees that mate with new Queen. They serve one single purpose of carrying on the specie.  Bees die after they string, and the Male Drone dies immediately after they mate with the new Queen, they mate in the air and right after consummation, they fall to the ground.  Not only do they die after consummating, after they have performed their duties, they are kicked out of the hive and not allowed back in.

Look at how God loves us, He gave us dominion over all living things, He gave us freedom, but we squandered the Paradise that he made for us, so as Adam & Eve were ‘evicted from Eden’ we are here today having to be employed or to employ and generate an income to meet our needs.

A well-known quote from an anonymous writer said… We do not choose to be born. We do not choose our parents. We do not choose our historical epoch, the country of our birth, or the immediate circumstances of our upbringing. We do not, most of us, choose to die; nor do we choose the time and conditions of our death. But within this realm of choicelessness, we do choose how we live. – Unknown.

EVENING:   Good News:

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ...

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3 And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Devotionals for Sunday October 11th, 2015

Focus:  Less is ‘More’ He should increase and I should decrease… because in Him we have His Abundance.

TEXT:     Matthew 6: 7-8 NIV

Jesus taught us how to pray

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

If you had one wish, what would you wish for?

Thoughts for the day: The Power of Prayer… Prayer is the source of Power given to us by our Lord to seek HIM.

Think on this… Do not throwaway today by fretting about tomorrow, The Bible said Fret not.

Commentary:

Prayer is a Divine interaction with our Lord, He gave us this privilege of coming to Him, and He also revealed many secrets to us:

  1. Faith:                      This is the Power of coming into His Presence; Faith is the key step in coming to Him,
  2. Belief:                     He said when we pray we must have Faith and Believe we already received His Favor
  3. Supremacy:           He is Supreme and Sovereign, and we must place Him First over all
  4. Redemption:         Acknowledge His Redemption and His Grace that saved us
  5. Holy Spirit:            Seek His Holy Spirit and He is Omnipresence and Omni potent.
  6. Thanks Giving:      Give Thanks and acknowledge in Faith that whatever we Ask or Think He said He will do

Are you facing a Giant today, Our Lord can make a way for you to overcome it and be victorious... Praise our Lord Jesus for He is Faithful.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Matthew 6: 7-14 NIV

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:

   “Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Philippians 4: 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. We need to focus on the positive more and still remember the negative results of sins. Our Lord is saying in HIS Prayer “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”…

He was telling us while we are here the following will apply:

  • He (Jesus) is as powerful here on earth as He is in Heaven
  • He will supply our needs here while we are here on earth
  • He will protect from evil, by us trusting and knowing Him

As Christians we need to emphasize the following:

  • The Positive aspects of following our Lord Jesus, as He is Holy
  • The Joy that He provides by His words of Assurance
  • The Victory we have in Him

The satisfaction of spreading His Good news to others, as we spread His fragrance we also receive His blessings too. We are to tear down the barriers to achieve the secret of satisfaction in coming to Jesus and fellowship in Christ in Oneness; knowing that we can find the fulfillment of all our needs in fellowship with God.

We thank our Lord Jesus for His Faithfulness and for His unspeakable gift.

What a privilege He gave us to be able to come to Him. Hebrews 7:25..."Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him (Jesus), because He always lives to intercede for them. (Hebrews 7:25 NIV)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus today as come into Your Holy Presence Lord, You said You are in their midst… Lord let Your presence be felt and let Your churches be filled with Hearers that will receive Your Good News of your Redemption. Lord let the presenters of Your Messages be anointed with Your Holy Spirit to bring the Gospel to many and Lord; be with them as You are proclaimed to be God in One of our Father and as King of kings.  Lord Jesus we give You the Glory as we seek Your blessings on us all. Lord bless our visitors as we bring Your messages for Your Glory that many will come to know You Lord, as only what’s done for You Lord will last.  Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You, and in You Lord Jesus we commit all to You and Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

We are always on the ‘brink’ of greatness, how is this so? We need to just trust the Word of the Lord… He said He came that we may have life and have it ‘more’ abundantly…

Devotionals for Friday October 9th, 2015

Focus:      Prophecy is not a guessing game, with man it is so, but to God it is a commitment yet to come.

    The Four Gospels

Text:               Luke 24:44
[The Scriptures Opened] Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”
Luke 24:43-45 (in Context) Luke 24 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

The four Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—tell us about the life of Jesus. These four Apostles wrote about the life of Christ, they said little about the background of Jesus’ family and their physical appearance. They concentrated almost totally on the three years of Jesus’ ministry, but even here they do not give enough information to reconstruct a complete history of those years. Rather, attention is focused on the Person of Jesus and His teachings, and all four Gospels climax with Jesus’ death and resurrection, and the events associated with them. Matthew, Mark, and Luke are called the “Synoptic Gospels.”

The term “Synoptic” means they view the life of Jesus from a common perspective. After introducing Jesus in different ways depending on their purpose, they record the ministry of John the Baptist, the baptism and temptation of Jesus, His ministries in Galilee and in Judea, His final week in Jerusalem, His death and resurrection. In the Synoptic record Jesus characteristically refers to Himself as the Son of Man, and He proclaims the kingdom of God. Despite the similarities in the Synoptic accounts, these Gospels vary in what material they include and in the arrangement of specific events. Furthermore, each Gospel was written to emphasize certain aspects of Jesus’ Person and work.

Matthew emphasizes that Jesus is the true Messiah and the object of Old Testament prophecy and expectation. Mark’s fast-moving account was written to appeal to Roman Christians, and Luke’s Gospel is addressed to a cultured Gentile and stresses Jesus’ concern for all kinds of people. The Gospel of John differs from the Synoptic in a number of ways. It tells more about Jesus’ early ministry in Judea. John also records more details of the life of Jesus instead of the shorter sayings typical of the Synoptic accounts.

In John, Jesus refers to Himself as God’s Son and speaks of salvation as eternal life. More than the Synoptic, John includes theological reflection on the meaning of Jesus’ life and death Summation; The Gospels are a Testimony to the Life, Death & Resurrection of Jesus our Lord.

His Promise:

In our everyday lives Jesus focuses at the heart, He applies no partiality, He grants His Grace and Truth, and We need Him every hour
Jesus said I do not condemn you because I was condemned for you

His Faithfulness:

Luke 11:28 But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
Luke 11:27-29 (in Context) Luke 11 (Whole Chapter)

  • Action/Coming to our Lord:
  • Perseverance = consistency
  • Faithfulness by steadfastness and Prayers
  • Grow in the word by seeking Christ and receive his power of the good news
  • Your Life's capacity will expand by following Jesus
  • Faith to grow in our midst
  • Make room to serve our Lord

Conclusion:

God needs nothing from us. But He loves us so much He wants us to come home to Him by receiving His Grace. Repent & be baptized = the power from the truth of the gospel

Hebrews 11 (New King James Version (NKJV)

By Faith We Understand

11: 1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

Principle God Is Supreme…
Faith is living within the realms of God's design
Use the talent that He gave us and be in fellowship
Luke 4:36
Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”
Luke 4:35-37 (in Context) Luke 4 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of our Father and His Holy Spirit, Lord we come this day to Praise You and lift You up before all knowing that you Lord sits on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us to the Father. Lord We seek Your divine Blessings today and Your Favors upon us all including our Visitors to this Good News Site. Today Lord as we proclaim You as our Supreme God, we place all things in Your Holy hands Lord. Lord Grace is all we need and we thank You Lord for Your Graciousness of Your Salvation. Devotionals for Thursday October 8th, 2015

Focus:      There are more questions than answers to life… But God gave us the ultimate Answer, and His Gift.

God gave John the vision and the message for the writing of Revelation… That the Message is of Peace, but also a warning and we see that Revelation ran in numerical order of Seven, and even today the 7 churches still stands as we are continuing His teaching from the foundation laid.  He is Supreme, and we can rely on His promise of… “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelation reveals God’s Final Victory, it is a culmination of His ‘Grand-Plan’ for us that are Born-Again-Redeemed by His Blood

TEXT:     Matthew 24:30New International Version (NIV)

30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[a] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.

Revelation is a Prophecy’ but it is God’s ‘Promise’ and I take this as His ‘Pre-View’ of His Majesty, His Mercies, His Salvation and His Kingdom that He made us Joint-Heirs through His Sacrifice at Calvary..  We affirm that the Word became flesh, and His Testimony was more that ‘Word’ He Died in our place and Rose Triumphantly and He is telling us that this is what he has prepared for us.

EVENING:

Good News:

Colossians 2:13-14 New International Version (NIV)

13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you[a] alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.

Jesus Paid It All...

Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 6:10-18 [Full Chapter] [The Whole Armor of God]

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ...

Conclusion:

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3 And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Jesus went but He did say ‘If’ He meant that if He was going on your behalf, and He would go on your behalf only if you are Born-Again, and if you are; then he would prepare a place for you. If you are not in faith and do not know Him, then He was going but He would not be preparing a place for you.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus thank you for Your Eternal promise of going to prepare a place for us and we go in Faith knowing that You our Redeemer lives. Lord thank you for being in our midst as we bring you our Visitors and seek your Divine Providence upon all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The most important day of your Christian Life is TODAY!

Text: 1 Timothy 2:5-6

New Living Translation (NLT)

For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.

Commentary:

Yesterday is Gone… Tomorrow when it comes it will be ‘Today’ but the moment in time is now! What are you doing about your Christian life?  Stop and first know that He is God, Each day when we meet a friend or even a stranger we would say, how are You? Have you said Good Morning Lord? What are we thinking? We are thinking about Him, because He is REAL.

The chosen Praise song for today is…’My God is Real’ Yes He is real and He (Jesus) was before Abraham.  The book of Genesis started with the Creation and went onto the Garden of Eden, the Flood, Cain and Abel, Abraham, Sodom and Gomorrah, Esau & Jacob… and more.

The events of the Bible chronologically recorded the Greatness of God. When we read the Bible which is still the best seller of all times, one would gather the highlights of the events, and now focus on the most important contents of this book.  What is the most important content?  The Bible is all about Jesus, From the Creation in Genesis to the book of Revelation, Jesus is fully immersed in all of the events.

The Ten Commandments given to man is like the little book handed out when you buy a car, or is best like the safety suggestions on the card in the back of each Airplane seats.  This card will tell you not to smoke, not to try and open the escape hatch, not to block the isles etc. The Ten Commandments also provide our Conscience of what we did wrong. But conscience cannot save us, it only tells us when we did something wrong.   Just like Temptation cannot kill you nor is it a Sin, but the moment we indulge then we have sinned, and Conscience is step one of avoiding or committing a sin.   Therefore when tempted, let your conscience play the most important role, and listen to your conscience and respond by saying ‘you are right and I should not do that’.

Victory is an event to be enjoyed, unless we succeed we do not have Victory to be savored, therefore let us declare that Victory is better than remorse, and the wages of sin is death. (No we did not make this up) God said…

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:22-23 (in Context) Romans 6 (Whole Chapter)

What a disappointing outcome? To be paid by death…how could one choose to work and be paid by being killed? Would you take this job? Certainly not, but we enroll for this job every day.  So let’s stop and step out of this line and join the line that offers the Free Gift of Eternal Life offered by Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ our Redeemer ascended to the Throne of Righteousness and He is our Mediator. Jesus also said “No one come to the Father except through Him”

John 14:6 NKJV

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:5-7 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Principle: 2 Timothy 1:7 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 1:7 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

Action/Coming to our Lord:

We can come to our Lord Jesus Boldly, as He give us Victory in Him:

1 John 5:3-4 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

1 John 4:4 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

Conclusion:

Today is the most important day in your life, because? Today you can make Reconciliation with the most important person ever.  Look at what He is saying…

1 John 5:14-15 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

Things to consider…

1 Timothy 4:1-5 New Living Translation (NLT)

Warnings against False Teachers

4 Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.

They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanks by faithful people who know the truth. Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks. For we know it is made acceptable by the word of God and prayer.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus Eternal Sovereign God in One of Your Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, today we Praise You knowing that You our Redeemer Lives. Lord thank You for this privilege of coming in Your Holy presence and the opportunity of bringing Your Good News to many. Lord bless our Visitors as it is by Your Divine Grace that we are saved. Lord recognizing that in You we have Victory. We ask Your blessings on our endeavors and Your favors on all. We pray in your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday October 6th, 2015

Focus:     How fast is ‘Twinkling of an eye’ be? Could it be the speed of light? Or quantum physics”

 TEXT:  Luke 24: 50-53

The Ascension

50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 51 While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. 52 And they, after worshiping Him, returned to Jerusalem with great joy, 53 and were continually in the temple praising God.

While Jesus was showing His hands and feet the disciples did not believe it was Jesus, so He asked for something to eat. This proved that he was not a Spirit, Jesus was alive, He took the fish and ate it.  Remember Jesus told Pilate…”I am not of this world”. His ‘Ascension’ is yet another feat that man cannot comprehend, (except for Star-Trek the science-fiction series)

Jesus our All-Powerful Infinite God in One of The Father was ‘carried-up’ into heaven.  The theory of Teleportation is something physicists are saying that moving from point ‘A’ to point “B” in an instantaneous moment may be a possibility.  So our infinite mind is intrigued by this theory.  Somewhat like the men that stated to build the ‘Tower of Babel’ to reach heaven.  Somehow we are still in the ‘Quantum-Mystery’ Mode, as we are still talking of taking the theory to the Thesis.

Looking back at the Tower of Babel… primitive man thinking they could use Bricks with Tar as the mortar to build a stairway to heaven, today man in our modern day are thinking of how we may be ‘Teleported’ to another time zone?

Jesus said... “I am not of this world” and He was ‘Teleported’ back to the Father in Heaven.  Is the Bible giving us the clues to the future? What do we want to conquer?  Jesus already made us Conquerors, and we are already ‘chosen’ and are Heirs to a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, not made by human hands.

Being Heirs with our Lord Jesus who is God Incarnated (Remember no one has ever seen God) will we possess the ability to understand the rules that govern the atoms? And Quantum Mechanics? We may never understand it, but He will allow us to one day be ‘Teleported’ to Him. He already used it, He created the Universe from nothing.

Many of the Physicists that are developing Quantum Mechanics say that it is still a theory to teleport the ‘Particles’ and it could misfire… Our God has already made and operates a Teleport, this is described when the Bible said…”To be absent from the Body but be with the Lord”

Scientists says that there is still a gaping hole in Quantum Physics, (The word ‘Mystery’ is routinely used by many researchers) The top Physicists can all agree that there is a missing link that is still a mystery.  Let’s tell them that the Missing-Link is God! Read about the ‘God-Particle’

Man’s quest to achieve Quantum-Physic and taking the theory of Faster than light to achieve a new dimension is not a theory, as the Good News is; God already provided this to each and every one of us.

Devotionals for Monday October 5th, 2015

Focus:      Are we guessing the time of Christ’s return or are we preparing for His return?

The study of Revelation is an eye-opener as John the Apostle that was favored by Jesus commissioned John to reveal the wonderful events of things to come.  Revelation is not about the end-times, it is about God’s Final Triumphant Plan for us all.

There are an abundance of publications about the end times and predictions of our Lord’s return. All who profess to have the message of Christ’s return is no different from playing the ‘shell-game’ and these publications are like the waste-basket full of losing lotto tickets.

Our Lord was saying ‘Prepare’ for His return, He was not telling you he when He was coming.  John’s Vision of the Lord when he was on the island of Patmos where he saw the seven Lampstands… John’s Vision of Christ

Revelation 1: 9 I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10 On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, 11 which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”

12 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

19 “Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. 20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels[e] of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

What do the seven lampstands represent? This was the presence of God accompanied by His Angels. The ancient languages could not depict the Image, the event of what was occurring, but we could say that as knowledge increases, John was seeing Jesus like a Hologram just like the Burning Bush.  We frequently place our Lord Jesus in a historical setting, but He said He is not from this world and His higher Power was more than just feeding the five thousand from the five loaves. He ascended by Levitation so we have a Supreme-Being as our Eternal God in One of the Father.

No we do not have a ‘Virtual’ God we have a Divine-Sovereign God, the Bible said He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end; and Revelation is not the end it is the beginning of God’s Final Triumphant Plan as our Lord Jesus who is God among us will reign for a thousand years, and in the realms of God Almighty this is a Thousand times a thousand, as a day is like a thousand years. Our God in Infinite and Eternal.

Devotionals for Saturday October 3rd, 2015

Focus: How much more proof do you need that Jesus is the Son of God? Can you walk on Water or raise the dead, open the eyes of the blind?

TEXT:     Acts 1:3

After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. In Context | Full Chapter

Colossians 1: 10-14

His Love for us all-His Mercies and His Redemption…

10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

The Sovereignty of Jesus the Son of God…

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of[g] your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— (End of Text)

We are reflecting on the Supremacy of Christ our Savior, and for this reason we have His Divine Assurance that He is Faithful and He is in charge. And He knows you and made you an heir to his Kingdom.

Revelation 22: 12-21 Epilogue: Invitation and Warning

12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you[a] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

Devotionals for Friday October 2nd, 2015

Focus:  God chooses His friends and empowered them… Are you His friend? How is your walk with the Lord? See what the Lord said about this.

TEXT:       John 15:15

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

Can you be a friend of the Governor of your state, friend of the president? Or even the mayor of your city? In most instances you could if you are a donor or a political ally.

With Christ it is different, because he chose you and declares you to be a ‘Friend’, try walking up to a celebrity and calling him or her ‘friend’, guess what? You may be rebuffed or even be accosted by a bodyguard.

Today we all have a standing-invitation to come to our Lord…

Matthew 11:27-29 New King James Version (NKJV)

27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son will is to reveal Him. 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

When we come to Christ He not only welcomes you but you will have rest for your soul.

Our mind is constantly at work, even when we are sleeping, we subconsciously think of things or events that affect our lives. There’s no rest for the weary is defined in the dictionary…You must keep persevering no matter how tired oroverworked you are.

Note: A variant is “no rest for the wicked,”which implies that the devil will not allow his followers to rest from their evil doings.

Today find the Peace from the Lord… John 14:26-28New King James Version (NKJV)

26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28 You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, [a] ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.

Devotionals for Thursday October 1st, 2015

Focus: Prophecy proves that God is in charge of yesterday, today and tomorrow. Is He in charge of your life? We all need Him and He loves us…

We live in a world with more questions than answers. Revelation is a fulfillment of God’s Eternal Plan, and it reveals:

 a] His Creation,

b] He is Redeemer and;

c] He is Sovereign and there is none like Him.

Revelation points to Jesus Christ as the Center of God’s Grand Design He is The Redeemer, He is the Restorer and His Prophecy is being fulfilled as we see the great Messianic Movement which may be preparing for the last days when His people shall be restored.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
