HIS Promises

The Rich Man and Lazarus

19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

1 Timothy 6:7

New King James Version (NKJV)

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

Something to think about as we face the world today....Listening to a  discussion by a well known speaker yesterday, he said that all of the Bible prophecies are already fulfilled, and anytime now our Lord could return... What a glorious event this will be for those that know HIM...

The message from the following scripture gives us a lot of insight of this glorious event, and what we should do to be in HIS presence when He comes...

John 10 New International Version (NIV)

The Good Shepherd and His Sheep
1 “Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.

2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.

3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.

5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.”

6 Jesus used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.

7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.

8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them.

9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

12 The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it.

13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.

14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—

15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.

16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.

17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again.

18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”

19 The Jews who heard these words were again divided.

20 Many of them said, “He is demon-possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?”

21 But others said, “These are not the sayings of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?” PRAISE HIM... Sing Praises to our Lord and Savior, The King of kings and Lord of lords...

Be sure we are not separated from our Lord on the Day of the Lord...

John 3 New International Version (NIV)

The Facts:

John 1: 18…
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

This is why God Sent His Son Jesus who is our Sovereign Eternal God in One of HIS Holy Trinity…
The Word Became Flesh1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning.   3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4  In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.  5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has noovercome it.  (This is Jesus, The CHRIST)
Many of us think that Christ is the last name of Jesus, He is “The CHRIST” made The Christ by the Divine Holy Anointing of His Father the Creatorwho bestowed on Him from the beginning He was with Godand as we read He is God and was there from the beginning with God, and through Him (Jesus) all things were made, and; without Him nothing was ever made

And we know that all things work together for good to tose who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.  Romans 8: 28
Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5: 7
