2 Timothy 3:16 NIV
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:15-17 (in Context) 2 Timothy 3 (Whole Chapter)

2 Corinthians 5:21

New International Version (NIV)

21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Hebrews 13 New International Version (NIV)

Concluding Exhortations

1 Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. 2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.3 Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. 5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

   “Never will I leave you;
   never will I forsake you.”

6 So we say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”

7 Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

9 Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by eating ceremonial foods, which is of no benefit to those who do so. 10 We have an altar from which those who minister at the tabernacle have no right to eat.

11 The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp. 12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. 13 Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. 14 For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.

15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. 16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

17 Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.

18 Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way. 19 I particularly urge you to pray so that I may be restored to you soon.

Benediction and Final Greetings

20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

22 Brothers and sisters, I urge you to bear with my word of exhortation, for in fact I have written to you quite briefly.

Romans 1:20-22

New International Version (NIV)

20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools

 1 Corinthians 15:35-38

New International Version (NIV)

The Resurrection Body

35 But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?” 36 How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37 When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38 But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body.

Luke 21:25-33

New International Version (NIV)

25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

29 He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

32 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

A Special request to our readers
… of Good News Forever; Pray for the nations of Israel, Iraq, Syria and the entire region of the Middle East. Our Lord has a special interest in this region, and many of God’s servants travelled the region and brought the Salvation to them, let us also pray for Iran, which played an important part in history of rescuing the Israelites from Babylon, as the Persian King Cyrus was instructed to do according to the prophecy in Daniel, we read about this event in the book of Isaiah.

Pray for our Troops and our Missionary brothers and sisters around the world. We pray for them to have the protection of our Lord; and especially those serving our country and our Lord in regions where Christ is a foreigner. Places like the Islamic regions.  Remembering that Jesus loves our Moslem brothers and sisters, through the ages the servants of our Lord served in these regions, and that our Christian Church founded in Antioch, Syria is now a major place of turmoil.

We pray for the countries of Syria and Iraq where God sent his servant Jonah to Nineveh, an ancient city now bordering Syria and Iraq. We need to know that even today our God loves the people of this region.  We pray for the servants of our Lord serving and reaching the Moslem world to let them know that Jesus loves them yesterday and today, and our Lord Jesus who created us all, is calling our Moslem brothers and sisters home to Him today, just like when God commanded Jonah approximately 2,762 Years ago to go to Nineveh to preach the Word of God. Refer to the book of Jonah 1:

Jonah 1

Jonah Flees From the LORD

1 The word of the LORD came to Jonah son of Amittai: 2 “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.”

3 But Jonah ran away from the LORD and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the LORD.

4 Then the LORD sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up. 5 All the sailors were afraid and each cried out to his own god. And they threw the cargo into the sea to lighten the ship.

But Jonah had gone below deck, where he lay down and fell into a deep sleep. 6 The captain went to him and said, “How can you sleep? Get up and call on your god! Maybe he will take notice of us so that we will not perish.”

7 Then the sailors said to each other, “Come, let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity.” They cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah. 8 So they asked him, “Tell us, who is responsible for making all this trouble for us? What kind of work do you do? Where do you come from? What is your country? From what people are you?”

9 He answered, “I am a Hebrew and I worship the LORD, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”

10 This terrified them and they asked, “What have you done?” (They knew he was running away from the LORD, because he had already told them so.)

11 The sea was getting rougher and rougher. So they asked him, “What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?”

12 “Pick me up and throw me into the sea,” he replied, “and it will become calm. I know that it is my fault that this great storm has come upon you.”

13 Instead, the men did their best to row back to land. But they could not, for the sea grew even wilder than before. 14 Then they cried out to the LORD, “Please, LORD, do not let us die for taking this man’s life. Do not hold us accountable for killing an innocent man, for you, LORD, have done as you pleased.” 15 Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard, and the raging sea grew calm. 16 At this the men greatly feared the LORD, and they offered a sacrifice to the LORD and made vows to him.

Coping with the anxieties of this world, today we have a HERO… and our Hero is our Sovereign God.

The Supremacy of God… a forgotten fact among many today; since the beginning of history humans all over the world have sought to achieve greatness on their own. In recent times, we have seen the tyrants of the world, the exploiters of their own, and the persecutors of others and especially against Christians in certain parts of the world.

As the age of information came, so did the rise of the anxiety meter of most individuals, we are bombarded with news and reports of violence and constant conflicts among nations and an array of world events that are making the “Days of Noah” appear to be more like a simpler time… really? No the human traits have not changed only more amplified and expanded to a greater extent.

All of what we read, see and hear of the conflicts and events are all ‘Self-inflicted’ why if we were to turn from all our wicked ways and come to God and adopt His teaching and apply it to our neighbors, then there would be brotherly love and peace would prevail among all, then why not just do this and let us experience peace? This is a tall order and almost impossible to achieve on our own. Remember the event of Cain & Abel, the first recorded murder?

Can we ever achieve real harmony? If the answer is no, then there is virtually no hope for a peaceful life, but we can attain real harmony, but can it be sustained? Yes and no, please do not be confused by this paradox of yes and no.  No because all events are subject to the interference of the devil that intervenes, and Yes we can have harmony, if we have the armor of God to protect us from such interferences of the evil one.  In live we can choose to be the victor or the victim, and the choice to this is simple, we all would choose to be ‘Victors’  It is amazing why more of us are not choosing to be victors and continuing to allow ourselves to face the lack of Harmony in our life.

The apostle Paul wrote, "Being confident of this, that He (God) who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6).

By HIS New Covenant, as Jesus was dying on the Cross of Calvary where His Blood was shed for our Atonement, He said… ”It is Finished” The Bible said; the Veil of the Temple was torn, this was the Revelation of the New Covenant, at that very moment we passed from the “LAW” to ‘GRACE” as He granted HIS Grace.

Grace is a like a reprieve or an extension or to grant a release of a Debt or being Pardoned…

  • The Veil is Removed
  • Our Lord is no longer ‘Hidden’
  • He is Sovereign, HE is Supreme
  • He Redeemed us and He Paid-it-all
  • And ONLY Through Jesus we can have a future life in a place of Splendor.

Neither Buddha nor Mohammed can give You that Assurance as our Divine Eternal God Came, Died, Rose and Ascended and sits on the Throne of Righteousness and HE is our Advocate.

We cannot worship nature, things that we see and the goodness of men, Why? Because He (God) Created it all, and He is calling us to receive His Precious Priceless gift that all the gold cannot purchase.

We also need to know that Jesus is not just ‘His Son’… He is God in one as you read in:

John 1, Hebrews 1, and Colossians 1

Jesus is the Anointed Son, we were taught in Sunday’s school that Jesus is the Son of God, then even right now, for us that do not know our Lord, will say, how can God have a Son and He wasn’t married?  We must remember that we are finite in our thinking ability and our life span, and only God is Infinite, God knew our limited capability, so He spoke to us using Metaphor or narrated His message using simple analogy to convey the scope of His thinking to us whom He created.

In the Bible there are many Parables and description of His Messages, example, the Vine and the Branches, The Lamb of God, and many others, but one of His most profound statement made publicly was when Jesus said in His Kingdom there are many Mansion, and: “IF” He go and prepare a place for “YOU” He will come and get you so that where He is You can also be… This is oftentimes taken as a ‘Security-Blanket’ and this is to be translated by the Context of “IF & “YOU”, why, because His statement was a conditional statement with a Caveat that IF You received Him and trusted in Faith, He would go and YOU would be a Beneficiary, on the flip side if you did not believe then He was not going on your behalf.  We need to know that we cannot go to God unless through Jesus, why” because He is the Gatekeeper, and He is our Advocate (for those that know him). So if we do not know Him or turned away like the tribe of Judah when they were taken captive, the worshipped Idols, any thing, person or whatsoever other that Jesus is consider above Jesus Christ, will be considered as idols.

Buddha and Mohammed were spiritual leaders but they did not have a Triumphant Resurrection, they are in man-made boxes. Just like the idols they had to be nailed down so they do not topple over. Worshippers of idol had to ‘carry’ their stone gods, Jesus carries us, He is our Hero.

The Bible teaches that when we receive Him (Jesus Christ) we are saved and He will never … let us be lost;

 2 Timothy 1:7

New International Version (NIV)

7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

But Falling away after coming and receiving Him is an insult to our Lord and will face penalty and turning from your Faith will face judgment, but those that are in Him shall be in a Place of Splendor… Our Lord told the repented thief on the cross... “Today you will be with me in Paradise ’” What a glorious promise.

To come back to our Savior today, right now, pray the prayer following this factual life changing  Good News of HIS Redemption…and be in the presence of our Gracious Redeemer, because He is the only one that “Redeemed us’ we occupy a ‘Tent (Body) that lasts for a maximum of a hundred years in rare cases, but we were made in His Likeness and we were made to live forever, so the issue is, we cannot kill ourselves, our spiritual soul lives on forever. What a misery if we transit into the wrong place forever? The Bible says… Today is the day of Salvation and now is the Accepted Time… life is but a Vapor, but this should really say our body is alive and propelled by a Vapor, just like when the tank in our car goes on “E” and the fuel warning light glows.  But when the body dies, as God said from dust we came and to dust we return, but our Soul lives on… Let us choose Whom we will trust and in Faith know that we are redeemed by His Grace and atoned by His Blood.

The Blood of Christ is like the Blood of the lamb that was used to mark the door posts of the Israelite in Egypt when The Lord sent the angel of death and the Blood protected the Israelites during the Passover of their homes. So Jesus our Redeemer is offering His Blood as the Mark of Redemption as he redeemed us from the sin that we were born with.  We are all sinners; read about Why did Jesus come and why was He destined to Die?

To redeem us from His word, ‘Eat of this and you will surely die’ [Genesis 2:16], He came, for the purpose of paying the ultimate sacrifice, and He departed. We should look at the way He came, and the way He departed.  He came as a Child, for the sole purpose of?  Redemption, He came for the redemption of our sins, and HIS word ‘Eat of this and you will surely die’ Genesis 2: 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.  Not to be repetitious, it is to highlight the ‘Command’ that was broken, causing us all as descendants from Adam to be from this linage that was condemned to die… to the day that we accept the Priceless Gift.

But you might say, I am a good person, I do not steal, I do not go contrary to the 10 commandments, and I also attend church or; I observe the Sabbath and is in the Temple praising God, All this is good, but we did not commit the sin, it was handed down to us because of Adam and this is why we are sinners.

Now that he has made this right, by paving the way, creating the passageway, such a unique route that man cannot sell tickets for this journey, we can all get aboard.  This Passageway is a part of the ‘Priceless-Gift’ that all the Gold in the world cannot purchase, nor can we earn it by our own doing…

Somehow, explorers and archeologists have never located the remains of Christ.  But when it comes to Buddha, it is a documented fact that we know he was buried and remain buried.  All other spiritual leaders, the revered leader of Islam also died and is known to be buried on earth.

The Resurrection is the first hint and the reality of the Passageway… Science cannot accept this as such an event may be too advanced for our thinking.
So why not come to our Lord today and be assured that you are washed in His Blood. Keep the circle from being unbroken, come to Jesus and bring your families, reach out to them and lead them home too, by accepting Jesus.

Ephesians 4:30

New International Version (NIV)

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Ephesians 1

New International Version (NIV)

11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

The Death of Jesus
Luke 23 New International Version (NIV)

44 It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, 45 for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. 46Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.

He is Raised… The Resurrection of Jesus:

Matthew 28

New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Has Risen

1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.

2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”
