Devotionals for Tuesday September 27th, 2016

Topic:     Preparation meeting Opportunity = Success

Focus: Many will call Success ‘Luck’…Luck is a ‘chance’, and a chance is the result of many trials and errors.

In life the use of the ‘Trial & Error’ approach can be disastrous. Big Pharma applied this is producing pain-killers that are narcotic based, and the result is a major disaster of massive drug abuse.  Some cough medicine sold over the counter (without prescriptions) are also addictive because of the Codeine, OxyContin and other narcotic based ingredients.

The outcome of the Trial & Error by the Big-Parma is to them a success as it led them to a cash bonanza at the expense of the victims.

Preparation on the other hand will lead to success every time…   The Lord prepared natural herbs that will provide healing. Using the herbs to treat the pain is a reverse of using the herbs to cure the problem that will cause the pain.  It appears that there’s more money is selling the drugs to relieve the symptom than to cure or prevent the cause of the symptom.  So to practice reactive medicine rather than to be proactive in promoting wellness, this is the modus operandi of the big pharmaceutical firms.

Revelation 22:2

In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. In Context | Full Chapter

EVENING:

Let us thank our Lord for His mercies and His Unconditional love.  Let us claim Victory in Jesus our Messiah Who Redeemed us and by His Grace we are saved.

As we said, if man could work his way or buy his way to Heaven then it would not be a place that we would want to be. Thanks to our Lord Jesus that there will be no ‘Super-Christians’ no government, no president, no election, no commercial and guess what? No lies, no jails, no hospitals, and no one to steal anything.

Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Jesus spoke about Heaven over 120 times… Jesus said He was not of this world, and He also said the He would return to His Father in heaven. Jesus also described His Kingdom as ‘Paradise’.

To Receive His Holy Spirit today, we have this opportunity right now… Because of HIS Blessed Assurance, if you come to Christ today the Angels will celebrate in heaven today.

Romans 8: 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose

(Today you are all here for one Reason, to be given this Opportunity to become JOINT HEIR with Jesus) because in…

Verse 29 For those (You and me) God foreknew he also predestined (YOU) to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he (JESUS) might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

Verse 30 And those he predestined, (you and me) he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. Verse 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord today as we face this new week let the challenges be replaced with Your Providence, Lord let us all go in faith knowing that Your faithfulness abounds in our lives. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and Lord bless each and every one that call upon Your Holy Name receive Your Holy Spirit.  Lord we commit this day knowing that you will never leave us nor forsake us, we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday September 26th, 2016

Topic:    No one wants to be kept waiting, are you keeping the Lord waiting?

Focus:          Is God keeping us waiting? His Promise of His return, is it overdue? Are you ready to meet Him?

Fate is not a destiny… Fate is the result of not preparing in Faith.  Faith is the ‘Power’ that God endowed for us and He said if we have faith we can move mountains…

Looking at the difference of Fate Vs Faith, as someone said, “Your worries end when you go in Faith”.

Jesus said we are to bring His Good News to the ends of the earth.  He also told His disciples to go, take nothing.  He said all their needs would be taken care of in each town.  He also said if they did not receive you leave and shake the very dust off your feet.

The Lord never told anyone to build monumental cathedrals, expansive campus, and to create a ‘Brand’ of religion. Jesus never taught ‘Religion’ He taught Love and Redemption through our Faith in Him.  All that Jesus asked in His final message in Revelation is to ‘Repent’ and He said that all those that believe and remain faithful will receive ‘The Crown of Life’

In the quest for success or fame many are going out using His name sending the message of prosperity. If we make our mission focused of gaining wealth and ritualistically ‘Giving to Get” this is really not giving because of ‘Love’ it is just a trade-off for personal gain.

So let us answer the question…Is God keeping us waiting? No, He wants each of us to prepare to meet Him. And His message of preparation is…

Revelation 3: 5-6 New King James Version (NKJV)

5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

6 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

Here is the message from Jesus through John in Revelation 3: 19-21

While these passages are written to the seven churches, they are also addressed to us individually as we are the church. The church is a building made up of us all going in Faith in the Body of Christ…

Jesus said…

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’

As you undergo His-Chastening’ remember it is by His ‘Love’ that He rebukes and chasten, He said be Zealous (Faithful) and ‘repent’

Our comment regarding the unimaginable ‘Coronation of the King of kings, our Lord Jesus’…

Revelation 5: 11-13 (NKJV)

11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,

12 saying with a loud voice:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain

To receive power and riches and wisdom,

And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:

“Blessing and honor and glory and power

Be to Him who sits on the throne,

And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”

So we are asking each of our readers to be prepared, and listen to the word of Jesus who said…

2 Corinthians 6:2 For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. In Context | Full Chapter

Devotionals for Sunday September 25, 2016

Focus:   My Password… Jesus save me, this is all you need, remember Stephen’s request;” Jesus receive my soul”

The popular cartoon show in which the lead character who works in a Nuclear power station, as he sat before his computer he reads on the screen, ‘enter password’… you guessed it, he did it by typing in the word ‘Password’

Making up a Password is becoming more and more lengthy with a mix of upper case alphabets, numbers and symbols. And yet cracking a Password is a piece of cake for hackers.

In the realms of reaching the Lord there is no challenge question, such as what is the name of your pet, your first car, or your favorite movie actor.

All Stephen had to do was to look up and say…Lord Jesus receive my Spirit:

Acts 7:59 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

59 They went on stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”

Matthew 12: 41 Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And many who were rich put in much. 42 Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans. 43 So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; 44 for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.” New King James Version (NKJV)

Commentary:

Banks are in the business of making money on your money or on someone else’s funds that they have received.  Even currency (Cash) deposited sometimes cannot be drawn against the same day.  This is treating your cash deposit like a check that must be cleared.  The reason behind this over-night hold of your funds is that the funds in the bank can be loaned to the Federal Bank on an ‘Over-night’ loan.   Using deposits and ‘floating’ the funds overnight can generate substantial revenue for the banks with no risk involved. The only risk-taker in these transactions it is you the depositor that will be assessed a whopping $32 service charge if you overdrew your account even by a buck ($1)

It is no wonder Jesus overturned the tables of the money changers in the Temple Court.  Today the Identity-Theft statistics are showing a significant growth as banks, merchants and institutions are hacked and individuals’ accounts are accessed by hackers.  Your money in your account will be gone, but when the bank is hit by a cyber-criminal, but your funds will be restored by the bank.

The damage is done when they steal your Identity.  So today with ‘Zombie-computers’, Trojan-horses, and other forms of stealing your identity, we have to be careful by standing our ground… ‘Do NOT ever give your Social Security information over the phone or enter it into any emails received requesting you to verify your personal data.

Just a tip to keep us all safe, never use the ‘Remember-me’ option on your computer, this is where your personal data and Password are store and can be used by anyone who access your computer or smartphone.

The Good News:

Jesus gave the widow that gave her last two coins in the offering plate a higher ‘Credit-rating’ than the rich donors…

Philippians 4. 4-9

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come… Lord Jesus we come in Faith, as You said Faith can move mountain… and the mountain in our lives are the temptation of this world that is a Broadway to utter darkness. Lord let us be guided by the illumination from the eternal flame described by You Lord. Lord because of Your great Salvation of Your Redemption and Your Triumphant Resurrection we can by Your Grace be in Victory in You Lord Jesus.  Lord let us share this Good News with many and we give You the preeminence in our lives Lord Jesus as we acknowledge Your Sovereignty and power knowing that You are sitting on the Throne of Righteousness at the Right-Hand of our Father and Creator. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus as our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Saturday September 24, 2016

Topic:    Internet Speed at max speed is still too slow to handle God’s Traffic… God’s speed is infinite…

Focus: 10 gigabits per second is the fastest Internet connection available to the general public.  This is still a primitive method of communication in the realms of reaching the Almighty God.

Mental-telepathy and ‘Remote-Viewing’ were used by Jesus in a practical and workable state, as in the case of…

John 1:48

“How do you know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.” In Context | Full Chapter |

John 1: 41-51

Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael

43 The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.”

44 Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida. 45 Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

46 “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked.

“Come and see,” said Philip.

47 When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”

48 “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked.

Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”

49 Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.”

50 Jesus said, “You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that.” 51 He then added, “Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.”

Our best communication currently is still the ‘coffee-break’ according to Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Group.   The ‘Carrier-Pigeon’ was a way of communication, many years ago, my wife and I let loose five pigeons about 30-miles way, and four made it home just about the time we got home, the last one made it a day later.

Ecclesiastes 11:1 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Cast Your Bread on the Waters

11 Cast your bread on the surface of the waters, for you will find it after many days.

Today as we end the week, let us thank the Lord for His Faithfulness, His Graciousness and His Supremacy, as Jesus our Redeemer is God in the Holy Trinity who always intercedes for us to the Father.

Colossians 1:15-16 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.

Come to Christ now, He is waiting and He will receive you and give you His rest… Sufficient is the hustle and rush of the week, let us use the coming days to reflect on the Majesty of our lord and what he has in store for each of us.

A Child’s Prayer…. Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray The Lord my Soul to Keep. Keep me safe through the night, and wake me with the Morning's Light. AMEN.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.   Lord Jesus today as we reflect on the day at Calvary, the event of the day marks the 2nd most important event in our history, the first was when you Came Lord on that first Christmas day, and the third most important event was Your Divine Resurrection, all of these events cannot be repeated as only You our Lord is Divine, Supreme and Eternal. Lord we thank You for Your Grace and Your Divine Redemption, Lord thank You for the many Visitors and bless each and every one as we look to that day when we shall see You Lord Jesus. Devotionals for Friday September 22, 2016

Topic:    Forgiveness is the foundation to the future, when well-placed it will support a tower…

Focus:  Matthew 6:15

But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.  In Context | Full Chapter |

Text:

Matthew 6:14

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Matthew 5:23-25 New International Version (NIV)

23 “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you,24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

Avoid ‘self-righteousness’…

Matthew 7:3

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Matthew 7:4

How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? In Context | Full Chapter |

The topic is about judging others… it is fair to say that Einstein’s statement ‘Stupidity has no limits’ was not intended as judgment on others.

These are the teaching of Jesus… (using the Amplified Bible) Only The Lord could speak like this because He later said…” Father forgive them for they know not what they do” Luke 23:34 [Full Chapter]

And Jesus prayed, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And they divided His garments and distributed them by casting lots for them.

Matthew 5: 22 But I say to you that everyone who continues to be angry with his brother or harbors malice (enmity of heart) against him shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the court; and whoever speaks contemptuously and insultingly to his brother shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the Sanhedrin, and whoever says, You cursed fool! [You empty-headed idiot!]  Shall be liable to and unable to escape the hell (Gehenna) of fire.

23 So if when you are offering your gift at the altar you there remember that your brother has any [grievance] against you,

24 Leave your gift at the altar and go. First make peace with your brother, and then come back and present your gift.

25 Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are on the way traveling with him, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison.

TEXT:    Matthew 7 [Full Chapter] The Amplified Bible (AMP)

Do not judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves. For just as you judge and criticize and condemn others, you will be judged and criticized and condemned, and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you. Why do you stare from without at the very small particle that is in your brother’s eye but do not become aware of and consider the beam of timber that is in your own eye? ...

Luke 6:37 New King James Version (NKJV)

Do Not Judge

37 “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

James 1:19-27 NIV

Listening and Doing

19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20. because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

Commentary: Relationship is different from infatuation, and admiration versus love can only be real when you are known by your admirer with a mutual relationship.

Let’s say you received news that your rich uncle left you an estate and you are to claim it, and the condition of claiming ownership is to relate one instance in your life when you made contact with him or even told someone else of your rich uncle and his life of helping others.   Too bad… you cannot recall a time when you did any of these that would allow you in meeting the condition of gaining ownership.

The Love of God is in some ways similar, but God’s love offered an unconditional love while we are still onboard the Titanic He gave us a Life-line…  So today we want to alert everyone to stop re-arranging the deck chairs, and follow the instructions pointing to the lifeboats.

Coming to the Lord:

Commentary:

Life’s uncertainties are all around us. Again one will ask isn’t this website supposed to be a bearer of Good News?  Yes we are bringing you Good News today.  The Good News is that we are endowed with:

•              We are created in the Likeness of our Creator

•              Christ died for our Sins

•              He Rose Triumphantly

•              He Ascended into Heaven

•              He Sits on the Throne of Righteousness

•              He is willing to forgive us of our sins

•              If you come to Him and ask for forgiveness, He will give it

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity; today as we proceed in Faith knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us, we are privileged to be blest by You Lord.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors, and meeting our needs and let us receive an abundance that we can share Your favors with others Lord as we give You the Glory, knowing that all good things are from You Lord Jesus. Lord direct our nation by Your Divine Powers and grant in our leaders the wisdom to lead and for them to Stop and Know that You Are God and turn to You Lord. Our land is parched, our streams are dry and many are in hunger, Lord Supply the needs of those that are suffering and especially the children in this nation and around the world because of man’s inequities and Lord let Your presence be known; so that we all will know that You Are God of all. In Your precious name Lord Jesus, we pray… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday September 22, 2016

Topic:    Is ‘Truth’ a scarce factor in today’s society?  ‘Half-Truth’ is more prevalent, why?

Focus:  The Age of Information managed in a Digital Age created a new platform to suppress the Truth…

How could this be? Money, corruption, influence and retribution are suppressing the truth to the point of promoting evil over goodness.  Mostly driven by the ulterior motives of people of influence. The Media, and all News channels are directed to ‘Spin’ the facts and to remove the truth that will harm the ‘Big-Money’ influences. So when ‘Big-Money’ is tied to people of influence, mostly higher-ups in the hierarchy of society, they can remove the truth and spin their agenda to influence the public.

A person choosing to do the right thing by telling the truth, it may cause some problem but in the end it will relief that person from guilt, and in most instances reduce the penalty.

In Christ the Truth is always first and foremost, and when you come and confess that ‘half-truth’ or the whole thing of what was done.  The Lord will forgive, but to willfully sin you are mocking the Lord.  In one’s life we ourselves will say ‘enough is enough’ and in the case of a habitual offender coming back each time to say ‘I am sorry’ and right after you have pardoned this person, he does it again and he comes back and say, I did it again and I am sorry.  Yet, we are to forgive again.

So today… let us not mock the Lord by willfully sinning… Our sins are forgiven, because of the Grace of the Lord, but our Redemption are by His Sacrifice done at Calvary.  It has been 2016 years since our Redeemer came.  Jesus our Redeemer came to save us…

John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

The Text above is saying God loved the ‘People’ of the World.  In reality only living-souls can love and be loved, the world is a physical place not a being.  The World is a place and it contains the ‘life-style’ and what is imposed by humans and set in place by man in what God created.

1 John 2:15

On Not Loving the World] Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

1 John 3:1

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. In Context | Full Chapter

We read that the Meek shall inherit the earth…

Psalm 37:11 But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity. In Context | Full Chapter |

Matthew 5:5

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. In Context | Full Chapter

Jesus did say this, but He was referring to inherit the benefits of earth ‘During’ our lifetime’ while we sojourn to Him.

Because Scriptures tell us…

2 Peter 3:10

The Day of the Lord] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. In Context | Full Chapter |

Here’s where our ‘Inheritance’ will be… It is a Kingdom not made with human hand:

John 14:2

In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 14:3

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus astounded everyone by saying… John 8:23

And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus said He will return and He is bringing His Reward with Him…

Revelation 22:12

Jesus Testifies to the Churches] “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. In Context | Full Chapter |

In God’s Kingdom there will be a whole New-World, as Jesus said…” I am not of this World” and His World is a Sanctified Sinless World.  We will still be our same individual selves, but we will be fully ‘Sanctified’ as a ‘New-Creation’ in a place Jesus called ‘Paradise’.  700+ years before the Birth of Christ the Bible foretold us of Christ our Redeemer… Isaiah 53

Devotional:  Let’s us Praise our Lord and Savior today and know that it is by His Grace that we are Saved…

Topic:    Going that ‘Extra-Mile’ because of being enabled by Grace…

Today when you go that ‘extra-mile’ and a co-worker say to you; “you don’t have to do that, it is not your duty”, just remember God rewards those that are faithful and He will see your good works.

Do you believe there is a God, even the devil does? And he (the devil) shudders

Thoughts for the day:  Does the belief of the devil that there is a God confirms your belief?

TEXT: Ephesians 6:10-18 [Full Chapter]

[The Whole Armor of God] Finally, build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil's evil tricks. For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age.

Commentary:

You do not need the devil to confirm that there is a God, because God loves you, and the devil hates you…

God through His Son Jesus who is God in One of the Father cares for you, the devil wants to destroy you.

Remember the devil cannot use you unless you grant him your permission. This is done when we yield to temptation, being tempted is not a sin, but to indulge knowing that the temptation is from the evil one, you are now crossing over and will be used by the devil.

The devil has no power that cannot be overcome when you are armed with the Word of God.  Unless the devil is permitted he cannot harm those in Grace with the Lord.  What do we mean, He could not harm Job, he was permitted to render pain and grief but God stopped him from killing Job, and God restored Job and all that he lost caused by the evil one.

So today do not grant your permission to the evil one.  We need to be armed with the armor of God.  The text above clearly stated… For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age.

Knowing that God is Real and Jesus who is Supreme and Eternal and conquered death, on the other hand we need to know there exists the wicked spiritual forces who is the ruler of this dark-age.

Yielding to temptation is like knowing that beyond the next step is the end of the ledge and you will fall 20 floors to the ground, but the lure of this world tempts you to indulge.  So indulging you fall, not many people ever survived such a free-fall to tell us of the brief ‘soaring feeling’ that may be a good-feeling which ends in seconds.  Such is the pleasures of what the devil offers.

The text also said… build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil's evil tricks.

Remember the ‘Mighty-Power’ belongs to the Lord, and through Jesus we have His Power to withstand the devil’s evil tricks.

Ephesians 6:13-18 (GNT) 13 So put on God's armor now! Then when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist the enemy's attacks; and after fighting to the end, you will still hold your ground.

14 So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight around your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, 15 and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. 16 At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the Evil One. 17 And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. 18 Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason, keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God's people.

  1. Truth as a belt tight around your waist
  2. Righteousness as your breastplate
  3. The readiness to announce the Good News of peace is your shoes
  4. Faith as a shield
  5. Salvation as a helmet
  6. The word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you

The above represent the most advanced weapon ever made, as it is made and provided by God.

The wall of Jericho fell without one sword, battering-ram of efforts of God’s army. The mountain in our lives can be mowed-down to a rubble when we deploy the 6 shield and weapons above.

A reminder to us all... God will not be mocked; Ecclesiastes Chapter 12: 13-14 After all this, there is only one thing to say: Have reverence for God, and obey his commands, because this is all that we were created for. 14 God is going to judge everything we do, whether good or bad, even things done in secret.

EVENING:

We have God’s assurance… Romans 8:1-3 Good News Translation (GNT)

Life in the Spirit

There is no condemnation now for those who live in union with Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit, which brings us life in union with Christ Jesus, has set me free from the law of sin and death. What the Law could not do, because human nature was weak, God did. He condemned sin in human nature by sending his own Son, who came with a nature like our sinful nature, to do away with sin.

The Lord is not slow to do what he has promised, as some think. Instead, he is patient with you, because he does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants all to turn away from their sins. 2 Peter 3:9 GNT

Our memory jogger…

2 Corinthians 11:14
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 11 (Whole Chapter)

Come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Heavenly Father we thank You for this privilege of serving You for Your Glory. Lord bless our Visitors and Lord Open the flood-gates that this endeavors will spread Your Living Water.  Lord we Praise You and to You Lord Jesus we give You the Glory and to You Jesus Messiah is the Power for evermore… Amen.

Topic:    Sharing the wealth… ‘The communist that won the Lotto’

Thoughts for the day: Good-Stewardship – True Testing is when He has blessed you

TEXT: Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:27-29 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary: We wrote about the devout communist that won the national lottery, and his comrades came and said… “now that you won the jackpot, you have to share this with us, as the order of communism is to share with your comrades”, the response was, now that I won, I am now a ‘capitalist’ so capitalist do not share their wealth with communist”.  This little humor is somewhat parallel to many that became wealthy through their faithful walk and God rewarded their endeavors.

Remember that the endeavors are not achieved by ourselves, and gaining the providence of our Lord that placed you in a position of well-being, the ‘Gift’ or the favors granted to you is for ‘His Glory’… God entrusted you as a ‘Trustee’ and you are simply holding the resources to be used for His Glory.  This does not mean that you are to give it all away, you are to sow seeds, and you are to continue ‘fishing’ you are to teach others to fish and to sow seeds that will also yield His bountiful harvest.

The secret that Jesus revealed in His teaching of Matthew 6: 33… New King James Version (NKJV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We are to spread His Good News, we are to have no other God, and he alone is Sovereign and He is the Great “I AM” and we are to love others like ourselves.

We also must bring to our Lord the First-Fruit, not just from the beginning of His Providence, but all succeeding harvest as His Favors will last. So we are to be good-stewards because it is a duty, be a good steward because of your love and compassion to all and for His Glory.

You may say…” how can I be a good-steward” when I personally am having difficulties making ends meet? Have you tried what Jesus said in Matthew 6: 33?  (See above) Give this precept of our Lord a try, and sincerely apply this and let’s revisit your stance in a few months.  You may find that “All things work together for good for those who love our Lord Jesus…

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.  Romans 8:27-29 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

EVENING:

Financial well-being is part of a peaceful life, but spiritual well-being is the utmost tranquility we can have, and this is through the Grace of our Lord Jesus.

Philippians 4: Rejoice in the Lord always.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Philippian Generosity

10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity. 11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Conclusion:

Stay focused on Christ our Redeemer…. Remember the devil is hard at work, and the closer you come to Jesus the hard the evil one will try… so place this on your heart:

1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV)

13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Rebuke the temptation in the name of the Lord…  Remembering that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you; and the temptation will be overshadowed by the Radiance of our Lord Jesus.

Proverbs 11:24-25 New King James Version (NKJV)

24 There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty.25 The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.

1 John 3:2-3 New King James Version (NKJV)

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Luke 9:23 New King James Version (NKJV)

Take Up the Cross and Follow Him

23 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.  Jesus taught us to be ‘Fishers-of-men’ He ‘Called’ and ‘Sent’ His disciples, and He is sending you too.

Luke 14:11 New King James Version (NKJV)

11 For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Lord and Savior, our Messiah, we come and praise You and lift You up before all knowing that through You we have Victory. Lord You said; Whoever calls upon Your Name Lord shall be saved, Lord as we do, let many also come calling and we thank You Lord for our Visitors, be with us all as we go in faith knowing that all things work together for good to all who loves You Lord. We give You our Praises and we thank You for Your Grace knowing that it is by Your Grace that sinners are saved. Lord we thank You for coming and giving Your Divine Redemption on us all as we call to You. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, we pray and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore... Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday September 18, 2016

Topic:    Finding your way home.  ‘Home is where your heart is… Put Your Heart in God’s hand.

Focus: Oneness in the Body of Christ

Text: Galatians 3:28-29 New International Version (NIV)

28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Commentary:

Reading the Bible or attending Church or praying on your own cannot save you… these bold statements are rather contrary to many preacher’s definition of being saved.  I was reading this morning about instructions from a pastor to one of his congregation... “Go home and Pray” If you are an ambassador of a country, it is your responsibility being an ambassador or if you are an officer at the Embassy, if someone comes and asks;” how can I seek political asylum as I am being pursued by my government for speaking about being a Christian”, would we say go home and wait? Wait for what? To be arrested? Or a miracle?  The same applies if someone comes and said, I am facing a doubt in my mind of how to be sure I have been saved? The answer is not one of Reading the Bible or attending Church or praying, praying will save you if you were praying to the Lord Jesus and in fact called upon His name.

So the instructions go home and Pray may not help you in finding the Truth. The Truth defined as the Good News of His Salvation.  It is the duty of the Pastor to counsel and provide guidance.  Therefore, we are doing what Paul was saying to the Philippians, described below…

Philippians 1:15-18 New International Version (NIV)

Paul’s Chains Advance the Gospel

15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill.16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,

Another instance of ‘Oneness in Christ’ The Ethiopian Eunuch’s finding Christ by Philip’s counselling… Acts 8:26

[Christ Is Preached to an Ethiopian]

26 Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert. 27 So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, 28 was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.”

30 So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”

31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him. 32 The place in the Scripture which he read was this:

“He was led as a sheep to the slaughter;

And as a lamb before its shearer is silent,

So He opened not His mouth.

33 In His Humiliation His justice was taken away,

And who will declare His generation?

For His life is taken from the earth.”

34 So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?”

35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”

37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”

And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. 39 Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea.

Should Philip have said…” Go home and read the Bible” The Divine message came to Phillip and he saved the Ethiopian government minister that brought Christianity to the country of Ethiopia. Christianity still thrives there.

His Promise & His Faithfulness:

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:8-10 (in Context) 1 John 1 (Whole Chapter)

Action / Coming to our Lord:

We were born in Sin and are still sinner till that day when we are sanctified in HIS KINGDOM, where Sin cannot enter as our Lord will not tolerate Sin, therefore sin cannot be in HIS presence.

The Solution is…. Hebrews 7:25

Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:24-26 (in Context) Hebrews 7 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:  Key note:  We are to add nothing to the Gospel, (No Pre-condition)

For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. - 2 Corinthians 2:15

Faith & the Holy Spirit are the Keys and our anchor; Romans 12:9 [Behave Like a Christian]

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Romans 12 (Whole Chapter)

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus we come knowing that You our Lord & Savior Jesus sits on the Throne of Righteousness and as we come You intercedes for us. Lord we thank You for this day that we are privileged to serve You Lord and to bring Your Good News to all. Lord let our visitors find Grace in You as Your Faithfulness is forever and those that call on You Lord will be Saved. We give You our Praises and we thank You for allowing us to be a Vessel for You Lord. We pray in Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God in One of the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Devotionals for Saturday September 17, 2016

Morning...

Topic:  Lean not to our own understanding, Acknowledge the Lord and Get His directions…

Focus:  What’s on your Agenda for today?

TEXT:

Hebrews 13: Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say:

“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”

2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15 Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? 16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said,

“I will dwell in them and walk among them;
And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
17 “Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord.
And do not touch what is unclean;
And I will welcome you.
18 “And I will be a father to you,
And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,”
Says the Lord Almighty.

Focus: Could the most important thing on your mind today be one of the following?

  1. Families
  2. Health
  3. Finances
  4. Work
  5. The Lord - Church
  6. Neighbor/Friends

If it is Neighbor, then you are on a good pathway, because you may be at peace with items 1 through 5, these being either well taken care of or at least under-control sufficient to the point to be able to consider your neighbor.  Then Thank our Lord for this. On the other hand, if any of the items 1 thru 5 needs tending to there is a source to get help and not just superficial help, but Divine help.  You may say… I need help and I have been praying and not getting any results. We like to say that God moves in a Divine way and not a mysterious way. Sometimes it appears that God is not hearing us, and we are not seeing any changes.

Remember Jacob when he encountered problem while staying in Shechem? The first thing he told his family to do was to get rid of the foreign gods. This event is told in Genesis 34 and 35, as Jacob prayed The Lord re-assured him of the plan for him that he would inherit the land of his father and his offspring would be; A nation and a company of nations shall come from you.

In our own lives, the same applies, get rid of the foreign gods, an idol can be anything that we place more emphasis on in front of our Lord.  Could this be any of the idols in our lives, be our material possessions? Certainly the Lord will not mind your focus on 5 & 6 of the above, as these are what Jesus said we were to have on our mind.

Principle: Whom God chose, regardless of what he does, God will Divinely place him on the right track.

Devotional:

Many statements are made saying… ‘Our God is a God of Second Chance’, ‘Chance’ is still a guessing game) We wish to affirm that our Lord is a God of ‘Destiny’ and when we come to Him and know Him, not just knowing of Him; but having a real relationship with Him personally, He will take care of us, as we are now children of the Most High.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Come to the Lord and surrender because…

Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him. - Psalm 115:3

You may wonder how can God know you an individual in a world with 7+ Billion people, how can Jesus know who I am and hear me as billions are praying simultaneously? This is probably the most troublesome question for non-believers and Atheist.  The answer is; God the Creator who said “Let us” create, spoke the world into existence, and just as He and His Son Jesus with His Holy Spirit being there from the beginning of it all, this same power of Creation is able to hear each of us, as the Divinity of God through His Holy Spirit is in each believer; and His Holy Spirit is Omniscient, Omnipresence and Omnipotent.

Good News -His Faithfulness:

2 Timothy 1:7

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Our Lord, who is Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresence, He is Jesus, the Incarnate God of Our Father/Creator…. He gave us the Spirit of Truth that is Bold with Power and a Sound Mind.

Matthew 21:21 NASB

And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.

Topic:     Who is your ‘Go-To’, is it self-reliance?  to a point, Jesus said make Him your ‘real’ go to…

Text:   Matthew 11:28 [Full Chapter]

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

In sports the definition of ‘a Go to person’ is… A player to whom the ball is thrown for a fairlysure score: He was our go-to guy down low. Andyou knew if he got fouled he'd make his freethrows/ He's once again the go-to guy on the best team in the conference.

Life’s challenges are sometimes just a little mole-hill and sometime a high mountain.  Jesus said this about mountains…

Matthew 17:20 [Full Chapter]

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Jesus’ message above is telling us how to be enabled to cope with the mountains in our lives.  He pointed out the pre-requisite of how to cope with mountains.  The pre-requisite is ‘Faith’… No, He was not speaking about ‘the Power of positive thinking’, because wishing that the problem goes away will not make it disappear.  It is like having a form of illness and just hoping for it to get well, but not tacking action to render the cure, the illness will just linger.

Jesus’ instructions of to have ‘Faith’ is to take action…  because in Faith we are acknowledging that our Lord is ready to give you ‘Rest’, Remember when you come to Him, He already knows your needs, even before you asked.

Matthew 6:  “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

He, Jesus is our ‘Real’ Go To…  Hebrews 7:25

Principles:  Any method of Salvation that departs from Faith is the basis for a perversion or it is no Gospel at all.

Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus we come knowing that You our Lord & Savior Jesus sits on the Throne of Righteousness and as we come You intercedes for us. Lord we thank You for this day that we are privileged to serve You Lord, bringing Your Good News to all. Lord let our visitors find Grace in You as Your Faithfulness is forever and those that call on You Lord will be Saved. We give You our Praises and we thank You for allowing us to be a Vessel for You Lord. We pray in Your Name Lord Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God in One of the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday September 15, 2016

Topic: The Legacy of Man, versus the Legacy of Christ…

Focus: What is Man’s Legacy?  In reality we have the Fall of Mankind by Adam when they went against God’s command in the Garden of Eden.

Let us look at the legacy of man in more recent times…

“Our days are numbered. One of the primary goals in our lives should be to prepare for our last day. The legacy we leave is not just in our possessions, but in the quality of our lives. What preparations should we be making now? The greatest waste in all of our earth, which cannot be recycled or reclaimed, is our waste of the time that God has given us each day.”
― Bill Graham

“the difference between the old and the new education being) in a word, the old was a kind of propagation - men transmitting manhood to men; the new is merely propaganda.” ― C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man

“Your life matters. You are here for a reason. Your job is to determine why.”
― Michael Hyatt, Living Forward: A Proven Plan to Stop Drifting and Get the Life You Want

“This is the day― Michael Hyatt, Living Forward: A Proven Plan to Stop Drifting and Get the Life You Want that everything can change for you.”

Commentary:

All we have is from God…

A famous man-made product is Corian® Countertop, but this is still made from Plastic and derived from Polymer or Petroleum related. The clothes we wear, the shoes, the cell phone, the food we eat and the beverage we drink, etc., all are derived from what God created.

We have engineered cars, planes and even genetically modified Plants and Food. But still all are derived from sources of what God created.

Our finite mind was displayed when man thought they could build a tower to heaven (Tower of Babel). The continuous quest to develop longevity has been elusive.  The average life-span has been growing, but what is life, living to be a hundred with nothing but memories of years gone by? Or even without memories due to dementia or lack of full mobility.

Leaving a legacy means nothing to a person that is no longer here. The Good News is that while we cannot account for anything that are truly ‘Man-made’ and having to face mortality; the Good News is that we are created in the ‘Likeness of God’ and because God never dies, and we too will never die.

The Legacy of God…

Colossian 1: The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

The Good News is that Jesus is Sovereign, He is Eternal and He loves us! and above all Jesus died and Rose Triumphantly and conquered death by taking all of our Sins on the Cross.  Yes, He died for our Sins, and he Rose from the tomb, and He Ascended to Heaven and He is on the Throne of Righteousness, and one day he will return.

Today as we end the day we reflect on the free enterprise system still blessed by the freedom of worship and the freedom of speech.  Our daily devotion written more like a blog stimulates the mind and addresses issues in our society, but one sure thing… we present the Gospel of our Lord Jesus.

So tonight we lift our Lord Jesus on High, we Praise Him and we give Him first place and He is Pre-Eminent and is above all powers and; For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.  (Hebrews 4: 15-14)

Are you ready for His return? Today His Grace abounds, and His Salvation is readily available to be received. So come to Him, and pray… Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, and I repent of my sin by accepting Your ‘Priceless-Gift, Lord Jesus Your Grace I receive and in You I place my trust. Lord direct my path as I seek a closer walk with you my Lord. I Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, Amen.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus thank You for coming and Thank You for Your Divine Redemption. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and the privilege of serving You Lord, for Your Glory.  Lord we Praise You and we seek Your divine guidance as we go in Faith knowing that You will return Lord Jesus. In Your Holy name we Pray Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Topic:     The oldest living person to date, and how to remain the ‘Youthful-One’ forever…

Focus:    May 17, 2016 - 116-Year-Old Italian Woman Named World's Oldest Living Person by ... Emma Morano, 116, in Verbania, North Italy, May 14, 2016.

Moses was 80 years old when God called him to lead His people from Egypt.  According to history the Israelites were slaves in Egypt for over 400 years.  The generation of people leaving Egypt wandered in the desert for 40 years, and you would wonder why?  They did eventually get there by overcoming the fear, misinformation of the 10 spies and finally taking God at His promise, entering the Promise-Land.

How could a 11-day journey turned out to be 40 years? We may ask this of the Israelites, why not ask this of ourselves. Are we journeying to a new ‘Promised-Land’?  Being taken out of bondage after 400 years, you would believe these now freed slaves would be grateful to God, who showed His Power over Pharaoh.  Instead they carried on their idolatrous practices, sins and other abominations to the Lord. Again after being in the land of ‘milk & honey’ they continued with   their idolatrous practices, sins and other abominations to the Lord; and once again taken captive to Babylon.

After their restoration by the Persian King from Babylon.  Today we see new ‘storm-clouds’ gathering again against the nation of Israel.

Speaking of remaining the ‘Youthful0One’ forever, Moses did not get to enter the Promised land, but He was taken to the ultimate Promise-Land.  We read about Moses and Elijah appearing at the Transformation of Christ…

Matthew 17 [Full Chapter]

The Transfiguration] Six days later Jesus *took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. ...

The Moses who appeared to Jesus and the disciples was not the aged Moses who at the time of being told by God that he would not enter Canaan which would be 120+ years old.

So we can say that in heaven all individuals will be recognizable and will be at an ideal age…

The question today is… how to remain the ‘Youthful-One’ forever… Yes, we can.

Philippians 3:  7-11 NASB

But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, 10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; 11 in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Being empowered by Jesus, draw near with confidence… Receive His mercies

Hebrews 4:14-16 [Full Chapter]

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

The Promises of His return, and what He has in store for those who know Him…

Hebrews 9:11

But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; In Context | Full Chapter |

Think on this…

Why are the streets of heaven paved with Gold? Because His kingdom will be made with human hands… Gold is one substance man cannot make. So God will make Gold an ordinary building material. And no one will need to steal the gold.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come… Lord Jesus You disclosed to us how to remain youthful and to focus on You while we sojourn through this world to You. Lord as we take a lesson from the Israelites’ and the travails and restoration, and yet as we all still transgress against You Lord.  We seek Your Divine Grace as we gather here, forgive us for our sins, and open our minds to receive Your Redemption.  We thank You for the privilege of serving You and for our Visitors as we seek Your Providence upon us all. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, we pray and to you is the Power and the glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Topic:    Become ‘Unconditionally’ Guaranteed…

TEXT:     2 Corinthians 5:1

Assurance of the Resurrection] For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary:  The text above outlined that we will outlive our earthly house, our physical body.  Why? Because we are made in the image of God, and God never dies.  Therefore, God will provide a replacement ‘Tent’ with a building not made with human hands, and we shall be eternally in heaven in His Presence.

When you know the Lord and Redeemed by His Grace, you are now unconditionally Guaranteed.

Romans 8: 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Faithfulness of God and His Unconditional Guarantee…

Romans 8:28-39New American Standard Bible (NASB)

28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?33 Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; 34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. 35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Just as it is written,

“For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.

38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Praise our Sovereign Eternal God, through Jesus our Redeemer and in Him we have Victory as He made us ‘Joint-Heir’ through Him to His Kingdom.

This is the Assurance and it is unconditionally guaranteed by God’s Unconditional love for those who loves Him…

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come… Lord Jesus Your Word is Eternal and we thank You knowing that we shall see You as You are, as we affirm that You our Redeemer Lives… Lord bless our Visitors as we seek Your Divine providence to us all.  We Praise You Lord knowing that in You we have Victory as You Lord Jesus conquered it all.  To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday September 12, 21016

Morning:

Topic:    The Lifetime Warranty… Is it the product life or your life?

Focus:  Assurance versus insurance… Philippians 1: 6 gives us His assurance that he will complete His good work in us.

We reflect back at the ‘Lifetime warranty’ issued for a product, and as we said, the ‘lifetime’ is not for the product, it tied to ‘your’ lifetime. Therefore, the warranty expires upon death…

In God’s Kingdom there will be no banks, no credit cards, no installment plans and no debt.

Thoughts for the day: While you are here your car, your house and what you own will still cost you for Taxes and Insurance

TEXT:  Ecclesiastes 29:  This is all that I have learned: God made us plain and simple, but we have made ourselves very complicated.

Commentary:

There are people trying to live off the Grid, (No hook up to power, just Solar and or Wind.) unless you are one of the un-contacted tribes remaining in the world, then living in any country it will cost you.

So let us learn more of our Lord’s Grace, and the more we learn of the love of Christ, the more we are comforted.  The statement of ‘The more you know, the more it hurts’ is based on the more we know of the un-saved masses, the more it hurts, therefore we are to have a zeal to bring the Good News of the Gospel that our Lord Jesus fulfilled to the ends of the earth as commanded by our Lord Jesus.  We affirm that Solomon’s facts of life did in all instances respected and gave God the highest place in all of what he wrote.

Romans 8: 28-39

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

His Promise:

Our God is a Loving God but He is also a God of a consuming fire,

Hebrews 12: 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

Romans 5:10 New International Version (NIV)

10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come in Your Holy Presence. Lord we thank you for Your Unconditional love and we Praise You and thank You for the privilege of serving You.  Lord thank You for our Visitors and we ask that this endeavors will spread like a wild –fire for Your Glory.  We give You the Gory and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Sunday September 11, 2016

Topic:    Thanking our Provider, our Redeemer and make Him the Author of your future in Faith.

Focus:  Give Thanks to the Lord for His ‘Priceless-Gift’… Praise Him for His Sovereignty, His Divine Grace and Redemption.  Thank him for His Unconditional Love.

Today as many gather in His House of Worship, let us be reminded of ‘The Oneness in Christ’ that where one or more are gathered in His Name, Jesus is in our midst; and as we end our prayers, by saying “in Your Holy Name We Pray Lord Jesus’…. Not using the ‘third-party’ inference of saying…’In Jesus Name we pray’.  Why? Because He Jesus is already present.  He is not missing and absent in the Prayer.

We are not judging anyone, but we want to express the ‘Oneness’ in Christ in each of our Prayers.   Assuming your name is John, how would you like to be at supper and someone said speaking with you (John) and he end by saying… ‘Remember I am asking ‘John’ to provide what I asked? You certainly would say to yourself why is he referring to ‘John’ while he is already speaking with me (John) directly?  You may say this guy is nuts? Or is blind and not knowing he is speaking with John directly.

The sudden abrupt ending of Prayers by “In Jesus Name we pray” and not “IN ‘Your’ Name Lord Jesus we pray… I am sure our Lord will understand but He may be saying ‘Am I not in the presence of the Prayer’

Another example, you have just been ‘Knighted’ by the Queen, and you want to say ‘Thank you your majesty’ would you say’ thanks to the queen’?  I am sure her majesty would be insulted as you did not recognize her as the queen in your presence.

Jesus Christ did the same for you and us… He called you to be a member of Royalty…

1 Peter 2:9 [Full Chapter]

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

His ‘Priceless-Gift’…

His Priceless Gift is something we cannot purchase, earn it, inherit it or own it because we ‘deserve’ it.

This is the Grace of God…

Ephesians 2:8-9New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Can you imagine that when you arrive in Heaven you meet this fellow who said…’Let me tell you how I got here’ I made it on my own, because I am the greatest.   Mohammed Ali once said:” I am the Greatest” but remembering that we are mere humans, created in the Likeness of God… but we are born with a blemish.  This blemish is ‘sin’ as by one made sin entered into the world, and by One Redeemer we are saved.

Therefore, being redeemed by the Blood…

Lord we thank you for being our Mediator and because of Your Righteousness Lord and Your Divine Redemption we are saved by Your Grace. I returned and saw under the sun that— The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.

The road to Victory…  It is by Faith

Hebrews 12:1 [Full Chapter]

The Race of Faith] Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

Conclusion:

Faith is one of the most intangible elements… but Jesus said; ‘If we have Faith like a Mustard Seed, we can move mountains… Matthew 17:20

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 17 (Whole Chapter)

Imagine that our Lord said, if we have Faith as a Mustard seed, nothing will be impossible.  Just think if man knew how to apply the full power of Faith as described by Jesus, man would not be able to contain this power against his fellow men… but our Lord did make the power of Faith available to each of us, this is the Faith “in-HIM’ and as we trust in Him, and His Word said we will have Life-Everlasting, then at the right time, when life ceases on earth for us, the power of Faith is super-naturally released allowing all believers to transition to Him in the twinkling of an eye.

Keynote: Ephesians 1:7

New King James Version (NKJV)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Matthew 5:48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:47-48 (in Context) Matthew 5 (Whole Chapter).

Acts 3:19 19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.

To know Christ… Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus as we acknowledge Your Sovereignty and Your Eminence on the Throne of Righteousness, we seek Your Divine mediation to the Father on our behalf. Lord, Your Word said, that You Lord Jesus is the only Mediator between man and the Father.  Lord we thank You for receiving us as we give You our praises. Lord, bless what is presented for Your Glory Lord, and we extend Your invitation by revealing the Good News of Your Salvation. Bless our Visitors, and let Your Grace be upon each one as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday September 9, 2016

Topic: Gaining the world, is it just a ‘Moment in Time?’ what is the intrinsic value?

Focus:   At the recent Olympics Many athletes gained victory and some falsely gained a ‘Moment in Time’ and the moment in time was short lived, with no intrinsic value.

In life there another ‘winner’ that gain their ‘Moment in Time’ by winning the lotto, and a high percentage of Lotto-winners simply get just a moment-in-time, as the statistics show that most lotto winners go broke in the end.  It is the quest of mankind to achieve financial independence and in today’s economy more than ever.

Gaining the world may solve your quest for financial independence, but there’s much more to financial independence. We need safety and me need good health.

Above all there’s the factor of one’s ‘Soul’ that you will live on eternally, so are you concerned with the real intrinsic value of life? What is this intrinsic-value? Becoming the richest person in the cemetery this is absolutely of no intrinsic-value, if one’s Soul is lost.

Jesus spoke of the rich man and the beggar…

Luke 16:

The Rich Man and Lazarus

19 “There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. 20 But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate,21 desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell[d] from the rich man’s table. Moreover, the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ 25 But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’

27 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’ 29 Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ 31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’”

Skepticism is the enemy of Faith…Now Faith is defined as a belief in something that doesn’t exist.   Assumption is a major deterrent to having Faith.  Many skeptics (Scoffers) are filled with their own pre-supposed opinions.

Seek treasures in Heaven…

1 Peter: 22 Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, 23 for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. 24 For,

“All flesh is like grass,
And all its glory like the flower of grass.
The grass withers,
And the flower falls off,
25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.”

And this is the word which was preached to you.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Reason with yourself, search your abilities, and determine our finite mind. Accept the sovereignty of our Lord Jesus by dropping our old assumptions in exchange for Faith of His Divine Assurance and His Redemption.

Titus 2:13-14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

13 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, 14 who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.

Conclusion:

The scripture reminds us that “All flesh is like grass,
And all its glory like the flower of grass.
The grass withers,
And the flower falls of
25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus we thank You for coming and thank You for remembering us and by your Grace we are Redeemed. Lord bless this day as we start a new week and through you Lord we have your assurance of Your Salvation, and in Faith we affirm that You Are Sovereign and Eternal.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Favors as we look to You Lord as the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Lord Thanks for Your Divine Grace and in Faith we place all in Your Holy Hands, we pray in Your majestic name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday September 8, 2016

Topic:    Is your health, wealth and wellbeing sustainable?  Until when?

Focus:  Jesus said… John 10:9-11 New King James Version (NKJV)

I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep”.

Commentary:

More-Abundantly is a superlative description of what Jesus offers. The double portion of what Jesus came and gave us are:

a] An abundant life here while we live out our life on earth, and:

b] The ‘More’ Abundant life when He receives those who know Him into His Kingdom.

So what’s with us talking about the ‘Kingdom’ of God?  Because this was the sole purpose of Jesus coming, to ‘Redeem’ us that we may be saved by his Grace.

You may ask why I need to be saved. I have a comfortable life, a good job, a nice family, a home and cars and all that I need.  Guess what? It’s only 8 decades more or less that you will need to know more about His Kingdom. Why like your new car it will be worn-out in a few years, but this is replaceable, but we are not replaceable.  Yes, you are replaced, when you know Jesus your tired body will be replaced with a Heavenly body.

The Grace and Love of our Lord… His Sovereignty, His Majesty, His Love, His Redemption….

His Omniscient… Jesus is with us always, even to the ends of the age:

Matthew 28:20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

HE is Omnipotent:  From Jesus our Eternal God, we receive His Power through His Holy Spirit:

2 Peter 1:3 [Confirming One’s Calling and Election] His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

His Love:   Our Sovereign God loves us so much He sent His Son to Redeem us

1 John 4:10 NIV

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

2 John 1:6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

His Divine Providence

Job 10:12 NIV

You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit. Job 10:11-13

His Saving Grace:

2 Timothy 1:9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

Morning Prayer… Lord let me be humble and by brotherly love not pre-judge anyone. Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You.  leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore; Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broaden and grant our audience that seek You Lord; safety and as Your Said Lord.” You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

EVENING:

Conclusion: We can come to the Throne of Righteousness in Prayer knowing that our High Priest our Redeemer Jesus Christ intercedes for us and by His Grace we are Saved… Amen

Reminder to our visitors, keep looking to our Lord to be the Author and Finisher of your Faith… God Loves you, and come to Jesus as He is our Mediator and our Sovereign God in One of His Divine Holy Trinity in His Father our Creator and His Holy Spirit.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Come to our Lord as He is calling, and He said…

“Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”

The Grace of our Lord Jesus made it possible for us to have His Heavenly Rest… Hebrews 4: 11-13

Let us; therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.

12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come. Lord Jesus, because You were there from the beginning of it all, Lord, we thank You for Your invitation that we can boldly come to You today.  Lord the command of our Father to be fruitful and multiply and to fill and subdue the earth are misplaced by many, Lord we thank You for Your Divine Redemption through Your Blood of Atonement and the Remission of our Sins.  Lord by Your gift of Remission, we are ‘Re-admitted’ to receive Your Rest. We thank You Lord and we thank You for the privilege of serving as we reach many for Your Glory, and let our Visitors multiply and let Your Favors be granted to all that seek You and come to know You Lord as You have provided this day as “Today” and we come and open our hearts to You Lord, Bless us as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Thoughts for the day:    Remember Jesus said He came that we may have life and have it More-Abundantly.

Topic:    We need Air, Water, Food and what else?...

Focus:    All three of the above are from the Lord…

Humans in our quest to improve on God’s creation made changes to the species by modifying the genetics resulting in food that are causing allergies, and antibiotic resistance for humans and livestock. GMO means Genetically Modified Organism.

The story of God and man… Man said to God “I can take the Corn and I can make it grow a larger crop and I will make it resistant to insects”, God replied…OK start, but do not use anything I created, start with your own seeds, your own dirt, water and sunlight.  This statement from God eliminated our ability to do anything.

On the other hand, humans have done something… we have made the greatest contribution to polluting the world’s water supply.  Food is a ‘weapon’ as stated…

Image result for food as a weapon

God in His Finite Power never wanted to ‘Control’ anyone… in fact God enabled each of us to be an individual.

Even when Peter denied Him, Jesus never reacted, He just knew that peter was a man and it was Peter’s survival instinct that he expounded when he vehemently denied any association with Jesus.  But Jesus after His resurrection left a message with the angel at the tomb to tell Mary for His disciples that He went ahead of them to Galilee to meet Him there, Jesus added and Peter too.   Here we see Jesus reaffirming that He did not condemn Peter for his denial.  While it is Blasphemy to deny the Lord, in this instance Jesus knew in the heart of Peter that Peter loved Him.

Today as we go about our daily lives… let us remember to place the Lord First, givi8ng Him Preeminence in our lives.  He gave us His secret to life….

Matthew 6:33-34 Amplified Bible (AMP)

33 But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

So let us not worry about the agenda of man, because said…

1 John 5:8-10 Amplified Bible (AMP)

the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three are in agreement [their testimony is perfectly consistent]. If we accept [as we do] the testimony of men [that is, if we are willing to take the sworn statements of fallible humans as evidence], the testimony of God is greater [far more authoritative]; for this is the testimony of God, that He has testified regarding His Son.

10 The one who believes in the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies confidently on Him as Savior] has the testimony within himself [because he can speak authoritatively about Christ from his own personal experience]. The one who does not believe God [in this way] has made Him [out to be] a liar, because he has not believed in the evidence that God has given regarding His Son. Amplified Bible (AMP)

Thank the Lord for His mercies, His Grace, His Redemption and His gift of live-everlasting.

The ‘Best is Yet to Come’…

Revelation 22Amplified Bible (AMP)

The Perfect Life

22 Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb (Christ), in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

There will no longer exist anything that is cursed [because sin and illness and death are gone]; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve and worship Him [with great awe and joy and loving devotion]; they will [be privileged to] see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. And there will no longer be night; they have no need for lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign [as kings] forever and ever.

You are invited…

Revelation 22: You Are Invited to be Blessed

Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His angel [as a representative] to show His bond-servants the things that must soon take place.

“And behold, I am coming quickly. [a]Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) is the one who heeds and takes to heart and remembers the words of the prophecy [that is, the predictions, consolations, and warnings] contained in this book (scroll).”

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus as we thank You for Your Divine grace upon us all, Lord bless our Visitors as we go in Faith knowing that You Lord is Omniscient and all our needs are provided for by Your providence. Lord we thank You and we give You first-place in all knowing that You Lord Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith as we acknowledge You before all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Topic: Did you know Coffee ground can stop a bleeding wound? God made a cure for all illness…

Revelation 22:2 New King James Version (NKJV)

In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

 Here are some natural remedies….

Basil is an herbal carminative, that is, it can relieve gas and soothe stomach upsets. One possible explanation for its calming effect is a compound called eugenol, which has been shown to help ease muscle spasms.

Cayenne pepper is a hot red powder made from tropical chili peppers. It contains alkaloid capsaicin, which relieves pain by blocking the chemicals that send pain messages to the brain.

Cinnamon bark contains an oily chemical called cinnamaldehyde that kills a variety of illness causing bacteria, including the dreaded E. coli, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus aureas. Research shows that cinnamon is also able to stop the growth of the Asian flu virus. Herbalists report that cinnamon bark also helps regulate the menstrual cycle and checks flooding during menopause. Also cinnamaldehyde has a tranquilizing effect that helps reduce anxiety and stress.

Oil of clove is 60 to 90 percent eugenol. A potent pain deadening antimicrobial. Clove has earned the official endorsement of the FDA as an effective stopgap measure for tooth pain. Clove is also among the spices that can help the body use insulin more effectively, thus lowering blood sugar somewhat. In one lab study, clove was also found to speed healing of the dreaded cold sores.

Rich in volatile oils, fennel is what’s known as a carminative herb, meaning that it can ease bloating, gas pains, and digestive spasms in the small and large intestines. Fennel can also reduce bad breath and body odor that originates in the intestines. Women who are breastfeeding may find that fennel, which works in a way similar to the body’s hormones, increases milk flow.

7. GARLIC – Intact garlic cloves contain an odorless, Sulphur-containing amino acid called alliin. When the garlic is crushed, alliin becomes allicin. Research shows that allicin helps lower cholesterol and blood pressure and also helps prevents blood clots. Garlic can also reduce the risk of developing atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). Compounds in this familiar bulb kill many organisms, including bacteria and viruses that cause earaches, flu and colds. Research indicates that garlic is also effective against digestive ailments and diarrhea. What’s more, further studies suggest that this common and familiar herb may help prevent the onset of cancers.

8. GINGER – When it comes to quelling the queasiness of motion sickness, ginger has no equal say herbalists. In fact, researchers have demonstrated that ginger beats dimenhydrate, the main ingredient in motion sickness drugs such as Dramamine, for controlling symptoms of seasickness and motion sickness. Ginger stimulates saliva flow and digestive activity, settles the stomach, relieves vomiting, eases pain from gas and diarrhea, and is effective as an anti-nausea remedy. This aromatic herb also helps lower cholesterol. Herbalists have also found it to be useful as a pain reliever.

Tomorrow we will feature more Healing properties of Spices.

Commentary: The Birds and the Lilies are carefree and God takes care of them, but when it comes to man we were placed in a class by ourselves.  God made us special, he gave us dominion over all living things.  He made us in His likeness and made us ‘Joint-Heirs’ yet we ignore Him and go against His will.

But there are times when He will demand our attention, and sooner or later we will all come to Him either voluntarily or in an involuntary state.  See above Text… Every Knee shall bow to Him.

Our Lord declared that we are Joint –Heirs but being made a beneficiary we have to be ‘Born-Again’ and being born of His Grace we are now His children and are even called ‘Friends.

As we venture out this Monday and start a new week, we all have some degree of apprehension of how the week will be.  No one knows the future, and only our Lord knows the ‘next-step’ in our lives, and He knew us before we were born and when we come to Him, we are ‘Pre-destined’ and those who He pre-destined He called, and whom He call are made Heirs in Him.

Principle:

We have the Covenant of Grace in Christ Jesus our Lord.  The promise of God is ‘Sacred’ and His Word never changes as he is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Jesus who is the Son of God and is God Incarnate as he Yeshua/Jehovah/Jesus was before Abraham, known as the father of Nations.  His promise of Redemption by His Divine Resurrection and Ascension to the Right Hand of His Father is our Intercessor and our Lord and Savior. Praise Him for His Divine Power.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Romans 8: 26-39

Our Victory in Christ

26 In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; 27 and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

32 He who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33 Who will bring a charge against God’s elect?

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Come to Jesus and know it is only by His Grace we are saved, it is not Faith that saves us, Faith in Him and Accepting Him is how He will save us, Our faith can be ‘blind-faith’ but when we come to the Cross knowing that he died and Rose triumphantly, we have Victory in Him by his Grace.

Conclusion: His Grace from the Cross extended to us sinners is still valid today.  Today is the most important day in our lives, yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come. As He said today is the day of Salvation.

Our Lord said He went to prepare a place and He said …

 Romans 8

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Deliverance from Bondage

8 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. 3 For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as You intercedes for us, we seek Your Divine Grace and Your Holy Spirit to fill us and be with us. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we seek your Blessings on us all as we come and look to You knowing that all things work together for good in You our Lord, we love You Lord. We praise You and lift You up before all. Lord bless our endeavors and let it be done according to your Will for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Topic:  Why a beautiful Rose blooms on a bush of thorns?

Focus:  God did give us a Rose-Garden but the fall of man this beautiful place ‘Eden’ was sealed and Adam with his wife Eve were casted out.  The Rose is among the most cherished flowers of all times, and the thorn on the tree is to remind us of the blemished life we inherited.

Jesus said…” I am not of this world’, then where is He? He is Omniscient, He is the image of the invisible God, and He Lives.

If life was a bed of roses then we would not need that place of splendor what Jesus referred to as 'Paradise'

TEXT: Psalm 23: 1-2

The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.

Commentary: Yes… God did place our fore parents in a Rose-Garden a place called Eden. Can we imagine the beauty of such a setting?  The Bible does not give us a complete picture of Eden, but this was a place of Green-Pastures and Still Water as the 23rd Psalm said…  God’s definition of Green Pastures would be a place of total tranquility.  Today we have ‘noise-pollution’ on a global scale, finding a place undisturbed by man will take some searching to hear the quietness of God’s creation.

Mankind has created noise-pollution and one in particular that we bring to the forefront is; HAARP (High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) is a high-powered radio transmission. There are many conspiracy theories that this is a form of weather control, etc.  The beaching of Dolphins, Wales and the loss of Homing-Pigeons in high numbers are all affected by one or more of human interference on mammals and even insects.  So we see mankind is still building a newer version of the Tower of Babel.

When God said to Moses… Exodus 3:5

Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground”.

Nothing we have today, even the most advanced mode of communication, the Internet, super-computers and even advance weapon systems classified under ‘Black-Projects’ can compare to the Holy Spirit.  Jesus did not conceal His promise, and He message was delivered on the day of Pentecost as the Holy Spirit descended.

Yes… we are blessed and are provided God’s Comforter His Holy Spirit.  So when Jesus said…If we have faith

Matthew 17:20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. In Context | Full Chapter

Matthew 21:21

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. In Context | Full Chapter

Jesus said… “With faith as a mustard seed we can move mountain, and nothing will be impossible for you”.

Devotional / Coming to the Lord:

Lord as we look at your reference to a place of Splendor… Your Word said we are to look to You Lord; Psalm 145:5

I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, And on Your wondrous works. In Context | Full Chapter |

Lord we Praise You for Your Loving-Kindness and above all Your Divine Redemption.  Lord as we stand in Awe of the Majesty of Your Creation and what mankind has done to deface Your majestic creation, yet Your patience abounds as You Lord is slow to anger and Lord let the Good News that we present bring Your message to many for Your Glory\...as we affirm in Your Holy Name… (Psalm 23)

You Lord Jesus is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

Good News -His Faithfulness: Our Redeemer Lives! He came that you will have an abundant life and have it ‘more-abundantly’. Praise Him for His Love and His Divine Redemption, Jesus paid-it-all, come and be made a Joint-Heir by His Grace.

EVENING: Action/Coming to our Lord:

Conclusion: Philippians 2:15 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom You appear as lights in the world.

Did you know that there is certain degree of attractiveness to a person because they inspire and are interactive?

Our mission is to showcase Christ our redeemer by being humble

Developing humility is by doing nothing to even working on being humble or by being conceited about our humbleness.

Being aware that I am a sinner is not enough

I cannot be a good person by works

Philippians 3: Verse 16 to attain Christ by giving him first place in my life.

1. By focusing on what I can do, instead let Him work in me for His glory being the righteousness of God

2. To focus on him and. Grow in him

3. Focus on Jesus not on myself

4. Change from work to Grace by faith

5. There's no substitute for our savior

Principle: Good to know - before all things Our Father, His Son and His Holy Spirit were there. The Holy Trinity was there and is still with us…

The Bible says the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God the Father created all things by Jesus Christ. "For by him"--that is, by Jesus Christ--"all things were created" (Colossians 1:16).

Principle:  Humbleness and Meekness shall triumph over pride and the boastful ones will be debased.  Pride debases those that boast and put their trust in money and earthly things….

His Faithfulness:

Romans 8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Deliverance from Bondage

8 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

Principle:

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

We can count on our Lord’s graciousness, and He said He will never leave us nor forsake us.  Finally, we want to remind everyone that it is not Faith that saves us, it is GRACE, and only by His Grace we are saved through Faith in our Lord Jesus.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus as our Mediator we acknowledge that unless we come through You no one comes to the Father. Lord Jesus we come this day and present our Visitors as You presents us all to The Father by your Righteousness. We Praise You and give You first place in all… To You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Sunday September 4th, 2016

Topic: Keep remembering the Privileges God gave us.  Stand-up and tell it to others….

Text: Philippians 4: 4-9 (NKJV)

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Here what to Tell and shout it out from the mountain tops…

Philippians 2New International Version (NIV)

Imitating Christ’s Humility

2 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in very nature[a] God,

    did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;

7 rather, he made himself nothing

by taking the very nature[b] of a servant,

    being made in human likeness.

8 And being found in appearance as a man,

he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—

        even death on a cross!

9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place

and gave him the name that is above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God, the Father. (End of Text)

Today as many congregations gather to worship the Lord… let us come let every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Remember that the love of God that radiates to us this Sunday should be shared with many and to Imitate Christ’s Humility… and do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

The foregoing is somewhat a tall-order as some will rebuff or debase your humility. Why? Kindness is often mistaken for weakness.  This is why the Gift of Salvation so ‘Freely-given’ is often overlooked and material things takes precedent.  Do not envy the wealth of others, because in your heart you should know that your ’Real-Wealth’ is the truest wealth of all, as in your heart there rings a melody, and this is the love of Christ. Knowing that in Christ all things are possible.

Philippians 4:13New International Version (NIV)

13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength. †

We have so much to tell…

  • The Love of God, through Jesus our Redeemer
  • The exaltation by God the Father of Jesus our Sovereign Eternal Redeemer in the Holy Trinity
  • Let us acknowledge Jesus as Lord…
  • Let us give Thanks to the Lord for His mercies, His Gracious Gift and His coming Return…

Devotionals for Saturday September 3rd, 2016

Topic:  Seek the Lord and receive His Goodness, God desires goodness for us all...

Focus:  While seeking the Lord, seek Him for His mercies, His Love and His Grace, Seek Him to ‘Thank Him’ and to Praise Him for His Majesty, His Divine Gift of Life here and to come as He gave His life for you so that You may have eternal life through Him. Praise our Lord Jesus as we say ‘Our Redeemer Lives’ and we shall see Him on that day.

Commentary: Seek the Lord as He said “you are no longer servants, but friends” …

 John 15:15

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

We all have a few ‘fair weather’ friends… such a relationship with the Lord is no relationship as Jesus said…

Matthew 7:23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ In Context | Full Chapter |

God desires goodness for us all, this is why He sent His Son Jesus…

John 3:16-17New King James Version (NKJV)

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Note: The Text refers to ‘The World’ but in context… God was referring to the ‘people’ of the World, as He said ‘Whosoever believes in Him shall not perish’.

Remember the most profound statement ever said on earth was said by Jesus, when He said…” I am not of this world”

Good News…

A Patient & Merciful God… God through His Son Jesus came that we could be saved from the consequences of our sins

2016 years ago, yes we are in 2016 and on that first day of our calendar year Christ was born in Bethlehem fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 53 written 700+ years before the first day of 2016.

Principle: The Good News is that God has a plan inspite of our shortcoming…

He came so that we may have life and have it more abundantly… A statement made by Jesus himself; John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context | Full Chapter |

His Redemption: 1 Peter 1:18-19 NIV

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

His Eternal Faithfulness:

John 11:25-26 New King James Version (NKJV)

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” New King James Version (NKJV)

His Faithfulness-

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.” John 10:28-30 NKJV

It is already done by the Redeemer:

Mark 11:22-24 New International Version (NIV)

22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Action/Coming to our Lord: Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion

Come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Pray... Lord Jesus I come in Faith accepting Your gift of Salvation and chose to be alive in You by your Grace my Lord. Devotionals for Friday September 2nd, 2016

Topic:   Judge Not… But ‘Test’ the spirit.  God will reveal Himself at the right time…

Focus: Acts 19: NKJV - Miracles Glorify Christ

11 Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.

13 Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” 14 Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so.

15 And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”

16 Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered[b] them, and prevailed against them,[c] so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

17 This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. 18 And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds. 19 Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20 So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

Commentary:

Even the evil spirit knew the ‘pretenders’ and it is almost humorous to see… “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”  16 Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

Jesus said…  Matthew 7:15You Will Know Them by Their Fruits] “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. In Context | Full Chapter |

All that Glitter is not Gold…Measure twice and cut once, look before you leap, Stop Look & Listen

Think on this       : Of all the warning given to us, the best is; the fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

TEXT:                     Psalm 111:10

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. In Context | Full Chapter |

Proverbs 9:10

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary:

Wisdom could be considered more valuable than gold, it is said that the person with the gold makes the ‘golden’ rules. So the rules are from God as all the gold belongs to him, but as we read in Revelation, this precious metal will be used as ‘brick-pavers’ for the street of Heaven.

It is amazing that God trusted us so much that He made us with ‘Free-Will’. God also endowed some of the ‘Poorest’ nation with the most Precious Metal and Gemstones, and the people of these nations continue in poverty because of the exploitation of their resources by fellowmen.   This why we have ‘Blood-Diamond’, ‘Jungle Gold’ and still the greed goes on...

God provided these to be used for Joy and to share among mankind, but as we see Diamonds are used to fuel war and conflicts.

Without God all is lost, the Bible said, when the Gospel is preached in all the land then shall the end comes.

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

In Context | Full Chapter |

For as long as you have been around, it is the belief that the text above about when the ‘End’ will come.  We want to point out that the ‘Gospel’ is the Key Element of this text, and what is the Gospel?  Read on…

The gospel is the good news about what Jesus Christ has done to reconcile sinners to God. Here’s the whole story:

  1. The one and only God, who is holy, made us in his image to know him (Gen. 1:26-28).
  2. But we sinned and cut ourselves off from him (Gen. 3Rom. 3:23).
  3. In his great love, God sent his Son Jesus to come as King and rescue His people from their enemies—most significantly their own sin (Ps. 2Luke 1:67-79).
  4. Jesus established His kingdom by acting as both a Mediating Priest and a priestly sacrifice—He live a perfect life and died on the cross, thus fulfilling the law Himself and taking on Himself the punishment for the sins of many (Mark 10:45John 1:14Heb. 7:26Rom. 3:21-265:12-21); then He rose again from the dead, showing that God accepted His sacrifice and that God’s wrath against us had been exhausted (Acts 2:24Rom. 4:25).
  5. He now calls us to repent of our sins and trust in Christ alone for our forgiveness (Acts 17:30John 1:12). If we repent of our sins and trust in Christ, we are born again into a new life, an eternal life with God (John 3:16).

Action/Coming to our Lord:

His Time and His plan for us is not ours, and we must trust Him in Faith and come to Jesus to be Assured of being named in the Lamb’s Book of Live, that can never be removed once entered.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity, Lord as You are on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us Lord, we come and seek You and we bring all things to You as You said come and You will give us rest.  Lord today we thank You for the privilege of serving You for Your Glory.  Lord we thank You for the many Visitors and we ask Your Divine Blessing on each and Your Favors to be released to those that call on Your Holy Name Lord. We give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday September 1st, 2016

Topic: Never give up – Keep praying for your loved ones and those you want to know Christ.

Focus:  Once thing for sure, the Lord answers prayers, and He never forgets, He is Omniscient, He is Omnipotent and our Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.

Commentary:  A young man whose mother loved the Lord and taught him about the love of Christ, but this young man went off to college, became a physician buy never followed his mom’s leading. While in internship at a hospital where we saw a lot of accident victims; there was a man who suffered a mighty fall who was not going to make it.  This man was conscious so the young physician asked is there anyone that he would like to notify to come and visit him, the injured man said he had no relative, but he would like his landlady to come and see him so that he could pay what he owed before dying.

The young physician called the landlady who came a few times, the man died peacefully, the physician was asked; what should they do with a bible that they found that the man was reading, the physician said he would take it as the man had no relative.

Taking the Bible, the physician opened the bible and found that this was a bible his mom gave him, when he went off to medical school that he sold. The physician’s name was written inside the front cover written by his mom. He was shocked because of the coincident of this bible coming back to him. He took it home and read all the passages that the man had underlined.  The young physician was led to the Lord after realizing the Word of the Lord and the prayers by his mom and the unconditional love of God.

Sometime in our life when we offer to help someone, we ourselves get more benefit returning to us.  The incident of this young physician’s life’ experience of this accident victim owning a Bible that was owned by the young physician was a divine interaction of the Lord in the life of this young physician; whose mom was fervently praying for her son to come to Jesus.

Do not neglect to entertain strangers, because somewhere or sometime an angel of our Lord will be sent to you…

The NKJV Bible mention the presence of Angels 190 times. One of the most profound visit of an angel was… Matthew 1:20

But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 1 (Whole Chapter)

The Divine Super-Natural powers of our God far exceeds our thinking abilities… so today we stand in awe of the great things our Lord has done for us; His Divine Redemption through his Crucifixion and His Triumphant Resurrection.  Knowing this we are more awe-struck that Jesus who is God Incarnate would do this for us, yes he did!  Because we are His greatest treasures, when He created us in His Likeness He said it was Good… so why did He had to die? Because mankind fell from His Grace He came to redeemed us.  Just as Jesus is of the linage of David through Joseph His earthly father that fulfilled the prophecy written over 700 years before Christ was born, we are descendant of Adam whom He created, and by the sin of Adam we are all sinners.

EVENING:

What a privilege our Lord has given us… Through His Death and Resurrection, we have His Divine Redemption. You may say…why do I need to be redeemed? I am going to die someday and what do I know or care?  Guess what? You will never die, because you are carefully and wonderfully made in the Likeness of God, and as such we will never die. The Word of God said… It is appointed unto to man to die once and after that the judgment; here we see a very contradictory statement, how can you be around for the judgment if you died?  Because we really never die, and even after the judgment we will live forever.  In Christ we will have a life of Splendor, without Christ we are separated from God forever in a place of desolation.

Modern man will say… how can a loving God put him in a place of perpetual desolation (Hell) Yes, He will as His ‘Fair-Warning’ will end on the Day of the Lord. And the Bible also tells us that …  Peter 3:10

[The Day of the Lord] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.2 Peter 3:9-11 (in Context) 2 Peter 3 (Whole Chapter)

Our Lord is a Loving God but He is also a God of a consuming fire.  Hebrews 12:29

For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:28-29 (in Context) Hebrews 12 (Whole Chapter)

Friends today our message is a little mix of ‘Fire and Brimstone' tone, but there is GOOD NEWS Because He is ready to receive you and make you a Victor and not a Victim…

2 Corinthians 8:9

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:8-10 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 8 (Whole Chapter)

2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:7-9 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 9 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your assurance that in You Lord we have peace and in You we have Victory. Lord we thank You for interceding for us to the Father as no one comes to the Father unless through Your Lord. Lord today we thank You for the privilege of serving You and bringing Your Good News to may for Your Glory. Lord bless our many Visitors and grant Your Favors upon us all as we go in faith. Lord we thank you for Your Grace as we call upon Your Name and to You Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

This Sunday as we start the new work-week, let us carry over the blessings of The Lord through the week, and keep looking up, watching and Praying as Jesus said, ‘His Kingdom is at hand’… Reach out and claim it in His Holy Name. God Bless you all.

Principle: Prophecy proves that God is in charge of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

I can be assured that my redeemer lives and that I am redeemed because of his redemption, so stay in Grace and seek him and fellowship with my Jesus in His Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Avoid Worldly Wisdom

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Think on This…He saved because of His Mercies... But to receive His salvation we need to come to Him and ask to be forgiven of our sin and in exchange for our filthy rags He gives us His Seal of Redemption by His blood.

Isaiah 55:1

Invitation to the Thirsty] “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. In Context | Full Chapter |

Thank You Lord Jesus for this day and Lord because of You it is a Good Day.

Lord let me use this day to:

Pray for my brothers and sisters and all so they too will have a Good-Day.

Lord as we know that this Day is made by You and all things are made new in You, let us be reminded that this Good time will continue in spite of the ‘end’-times that we face.

Lord let us use this day to pray for those in need and those who are seeking You to be blessed with You Peace.

We give You preeminence in our lives knowing that we shall see You as You are Jesus Messiah… To You be the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

      Think on these...

  1. His Assurance:  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV….  Thank our lord Jesus for His Spirit of Power, of Love, given us a Sound mind that we can give Him the Glory.

  1. He is Mediator: For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a random for all 1 Timothy 2: 5-6 NKJV …. Thank Him that he intercedes to the Father on our behalf, and He Paid-It-All to Redeem us.

  1. Finding our Lord:  Jeremiah 33: 3… Call on Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.  What a privilege He gave us, we can freely come to our Lord.

  1. Meeting our needs:  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4: 6 NKJV… He is never too busy to receive our requests (notice not just one request, as many as we need) so give thanks our Lord knowing that whatever we ask He will provide meeting all our needs.

  1. Salvation through His Blood: In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace... Ephesians 1: 7 NKJV… We are saved by His Grace and in Faith and not by ourselves, it is a ‘Gift’ of God, not of any works, so we cannot boast. (Ephesians 2: 8)

  1. Christ is Eternal, His Word is forever, His Redemption is for Eternity, and those He saved will never be lost… Romans 8: 38-39… For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present not things to come, not height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord… Rest assured that this is a truthful and faithful saying and we can trust in Jesus for He is on the Throne of Righteousness and he has our back and in Him we have Victory...

              ***

The most profound words ever spoken on earth…

”I am not of this world” Jesus said this, and no one ever repeated these words.   Imagine today this being claimed by someone over the Airwaves broadcasted across the continents? Who can claim this, Only Jesus the Christ, Anointed as the Messiah.  He proved this by…

  1. The sun went dark for three hours while He was on the Cross
  2. The empty grave
  3. His Resurrection, seen by many

The Birth and Crucifixion of Jesus was foretold by Isaiah over 700 years before Jesus came, born of a Virgin in a Manger, Died and Resurrected and Ascended to Heaven.  His promise of His Comforter His Holy-Spirit is also a factual event and to this day his Holy Spirit dwells among us.

His promise is wrapped in the love He bestowed on us and we have Victory in Him…Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever…

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

1 John 5:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

1 John 3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

                   The Assurance from The Lord
....

                  Romans 8:28-39New International Version (NIV)

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[b]

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[c] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Things to consider…

Do not indulge, temptation comes in many form…

Avoid these stages to being drawn into the act are:

Seeing + Lusting + Participating = Sinning

Remember King David did the same thing, He looked, he saw, he lusted and indulged and committed one of the most infamous act of adultery and even murder.

The Lord wants us to be without compromise…

15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot. I will vomit you out of My mouth.   Revelation 3: 15-16 NKJV

The Lord does not want us to be ‘Lukewarm’ and an example of this we can see why He chose Saul on the road to Damascus, why would Jesus choose Saul who was an avid persecutor of Christians?, because He looked at Saul as a person who was not ‘Lukewarm’ but was ‘hot’ to arrest Christian, therefore when Paul was stuck down and chosen to be a ‘Vessel’ for Christ, Saul later known as Paul became one of Jesus’ most formidable messenger to bring the Good News to the Gentiles.

WHO IS JESUS?
(All Scripture texts from  the NIV Bible)

Jesus said…”I am not of this world’, then where is He? He is Omniscient, He is the image of the invisible God, and He Lives.

He is my Redeemer and He is the Great “I AM”

His return will be His 3rd Visit.  He was here before when it all began… God said “Let there be Light” and there was Light and this Light was Jesus.

Jesus/Yeshua came before the Sun was installed on the 4th day.

His 2nd Visit was when He came as God-Emanuel, He fulfilled His Mission of Redeeming us by His Sacrifice.

He gave us His irreversible and irrevocable Gift.

This ‘Priceless’ Gift I accept and this is the Grace of Salvation from our Lord Jesus. By this I can say my Redeemer Lives!

His third and final visit will be on that day known as the ‘Day of The Lord’

Let us all look to that glorious day when the trumpet will sound, and His coming will be seen from the East to the West.

No, our Lord is not ‘too busy’ to return as some say where is He and I have been hearing of Christ’s coming and when will this be?  Our Lord is Gracious and He wants all to be saved, and His time is not ours, so just Trust Him and remain in Faith knowing that he said He will never leave you nor forsake you.  Praise Him come to Him and know that our Lord Jesus is always there for you.

Steps to Victory…

John 16:33 [Full Chapter]

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Accept His Priceless-Gift

John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

  1. Communicate with Jesus
  2. Seek His Divine Guidance
  3. Absorb His messages
  4. Follow His Instructions
  5. Serve Him
  6. Resist the Evil forces
  7. Turn away from things that are not from our Lord
  8. Just say “I will not go there because it offends my Lord”
  9. Yield to the Holy Spirit
  10. Trust the Lord
  11. He will provide a way and a solution
  12. His Way is always the Right-Way
  13. What our Lord is giving you is not a temporary answer
  14. His Answers is Eternal, and it will be with you forever
  15. He will never let me be ashamed in Trusting Him
  16. He will provide all of my Needs according to His Riches
  17. His Riches is not this world, His riches is our Faith in Him
  18. He loves us so much He even Died for me
  19. He provided a Way that I can come to Him
  20. Without His Forgiveness and His Grace I cannot come into His Kingdom
  21. His Redemption is not a ritual, His Redemption is a Sacrifice for my Sins
  22. Without His Blood of Atonement I cannot come to Him, so He has provided a Seal of Life through His Resurrection
  23. The Good News is that He died to save Sinners like me and you
  24. His Good News is; He is willing to forgive me and you, and His Good News is that you will be with Him in a Place He called Paradise, a place that is sanctified without sin and we all shall have His Holy Presence giving us His Joy in a Place of Splendor. Come to Him today.

Tell others of this resourceful site, and also our Chinese and Spanish sites, we hope that our posting will inspire you all... God Bless you all.

To Ignore our Lord is an act of denying Him...

Remember:  Jesus is not the third-party bystander in our Prayers to the Father,  He is our Mediator and without Him no one comes to the Father, therefore we always go to our Father in the Holy Name of our Jesus our Redeemer, It is through His Righteousness that we are able to be presented to the Father.  T

The supremacy of our Lord...

Hebrews 1: 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs. Isaiah 61: 1, 3 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me.... (This refers to Jesus being endowed by The Father to come and be our Redeemer Hebrews 8 and Psalm 45: 6&7 are identical and it affirms The Anointing of Jesus as The Christ; which is Prophecy fulfilled)

Hebrews 6: 1 Verse 3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory,

Hebrews 1: verse 3. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in Heaven.

Hebrews 6: 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. Hebrews 6: 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie.

Touchstone: Jesus also said:
John 16
Jesus spoke of His Ascension into Heaven…  Verse 28: “I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”

Just like when Moses was looking to God in: Exodus 14: 15-16 New International Version (NIV)

15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

Waiting around is not what Jesus did. He was constantly on the move, by age Twelve He was already full of knowledge from His Father. We saw Him in the Synagogue questioning and answering the elders with authority, we saw Him over-turning the tables of the money changers in the Temple, and we saw Him healing many.

Romans 8:37-39 New King James Version (NKJV)

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Today make Jesus Christ the Center of your life

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

If You know HIM you will Love and Serve HIM… by:

Romans 12:1 (NIV)

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

John 14:21 (NIV)

Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

Then live by HIS precept, as told to us in:

Matthew 6:33 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

So today we can know the affirmation of:

  1. Whom we believed
  2. In Whom we place our trust
  3. He is Faithful and Trust Worthy to defend us
  4. Who we can look to for what we need
  5. And HIS Rewards are granted to those that seek HIM FIRST…

And our Heavenly Rewards are far greater that the temporary things that will need replacing as soon as man’s short-term warranty expire so that they can sell you a service contract.

With our Lord there is a Service Contract but there is no Premium, why? Because; HE already paid it in FULL at the Cross by HIS Blood; His blood is the “Atonement” for our sins, it is the Divine Gift of Grace that He granted to each of us.

Grace is like your house payment that is past due, but there is a late fee and if you do not make the payment, it is then declared a delinquent loan, and by ignoring the bank the loan is then foreclosed… with God our life is declared PAID-In-FULL so that we can look to the future by HIS preparation for Life-everlasting….

1 John 3 NIV

1. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!  And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

 2. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

  3. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.

 2 Corinthians 5:21

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God"

Colossians 1: 15-20 New International Version (NIV)

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

For He said:  All things work together for good to those that love the Lord…

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:27-29 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

You are Complete in Christ” as Jesus Loves You and Paid It All for You to come and know Him, and by knowing Jesus as Lord of lords, all Things are Possible… because in God’s eyes you are ‘Complete in Christ’ even as you are; but God wants to make you “PERFECT” in Him, and You can be perfect this moment by coming to our Savior, and in Faith Pray…
Lord Jesus Christ, I accept in faith that You came and died for my sins and by Your Blood of Atonement offered for me, my Lord I accept You and by Your Grace I am saved knowing that it is only by Your Blood that my sins are washed away, and by Your Grace extended to me that I can look to You my Savior knowing that one day I shall see You and be brought into Your Kingdom where there shall be no more sin no more pain and be filled with the Joy of Your Holy presence my Lord and Savior.  I commit my life and my soul to You my Lord Jesus and expect to spend eternity with You my Lord, I accept Your divine saving Grace now and pray this in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer His holy Spirit will find you and growing in Christ is a daily walk with Jesus…

The Lord is our Shepherd....Psalm 23 New International Version (NIV)

A psalm of David.

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,  he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.  He guides me along the right paths  for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk  through the darkest valley,  I will fear no evil,  for you are with me;  your rod and your staff,  they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me  in the presence of my enemies.  You anoint my head with oil;  my cup overflows.  6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me  all the days of my life,  and I will dwell in the house of the LORD  forever.
 Amen

Jesus said.... "I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."

John 10:9 Jesus, the great I AM, is the entrance into the true church, and the way of access to God himself. .

Starting the day with these precepts from our Lord…

Let’s start the day by Praising our Eternal God, who is Sovereign, knowing that Jesus is the Anointed Son of our Father the Creator who said…

To proclaim Jesus as the SON of GOD:

Our blessed Jesus, as God, is omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent.

Continue to join us each day, and read the Good News. God Bless you all...

T
he TABLE OF GRACE:

“Lord let the Fruits from the work that you have given me Adorn Your Table of Grace…For You my Lord has set a table in front of our enemies and our enemy is also against You Lord, as we give You the Glory; and You said love our enemies”…

Grace: Grace is as tangible as what? Can we see Grace? Yet Grace is defined in the Webster as The Definition of GRACE

a : unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification

b : a virtue coming from God

c : a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace

Paul said in 2nd Corinthians 12: 9  And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses,

Paul was who was chosen by Jesus to be a ‘Vessel’ bearing the Word of Salvation, was also speaking of his personal experience, but speaking in third party instances so that he would not be exalting himself, here is a man that was a persecutor of Christian, a man that witnessed the stoning of Steven to death, now redeemed as a servant of the Most High, speaking as a privileged individual when he made this statement… Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a man was caught up to the third heaven. And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows— was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.  On behalf of such a man I will boast; but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in regard to my weaknesses. For if I do wish to boast I will not be foolish, for I will be speaking the truth; but I refrain from this, so that no one will credit me with more than he sees in me or hears from me.

As we see was Paul taken into Heaven?  Yes, Who God chooses to serve Him, such person will experience His calling…

Prior to Paul’s conversion, we would place Paul in the category of; Those than do not love, they do not know our Lord…

As we read that three days after Paul was struck down by our Lord, he started to preach Christ Crucified, here was a man just days before stood holding the clothes of Steven and watching a man being put to death, but within days was transformed by the Grace of God.

Think on this today...

To SEEK the Kingdom of GOD!...To Walk in Faith, knowing that the Kingdom of God goes forth in TRUTH & POWER

With JESUS on the Throne, knowing that Jesus is in Charge. The Solution is not More Religion, but More of Christ’s

Matthew 6: NIV

Jesus taught us how to pray

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:

   “‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Philippians 4: 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

We need to focus on the positive more and still remember the negative results of sins. Our Lord is saying in HIS Prayer “   “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”… He was telling us while we are here the following will apply:

He (Jesus) is as powerful here on earth as He is in Heaven

He will supply our needs here while we are here on earth

He will protect from evil, by us trusting and knowing Him

As Christians we need to emphasize the following:

The Positive aspects of following our Lord Jesus, as He is Holy

The Joy that He provides by His words of Assurance

The Victory we have in Him

The satisfaction of spreading His Good news to others, as we spread His fragrance we also receive His blessings too.

We are to tear down the barriers to achieve the secret of satisfaction in coming to Jesus and fellowship in Christ in Oneness; knowing that we can find the fulfillment of all our needs in fellowship with God.

We thank our Lord Jesus for His Faithfulness and for His unspeakable gift.

HE MADE THE IRON AXE FLOAT FOR ELISHA, and HE CAN DO THIS FOR US...

Today's watchword: The value of being 'Truthful'..

Ephesians 4:25-30 New International Version (NIV)

25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. 28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.

29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Matthew 6: NIV

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

HE ROSE TRIUMPHANTLY.... Jesus Paid It All!
This Website is sponsored by The Maurice & Eva Hoo Foundation

We need to be reminded that the Bible said....Our Lord is  a  God of Fire

Hebrews 12:28-29 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”

God made a way for us to escape His wrath, through His Son Jesus who Paid-It-All, and we are assured of this as written in  Romans 8:1-4 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Now that we have proof of the mercy of our Lord, and in Him we can have Victory, let us all come to Him that we can receive His assurance that we are transitioned from condemnation to life. To receive His Assurance place your faith in Jesus, come to the Cross, He is waiting...

Just Pray this prayer... Heavenly Father I come knowing I am a sinner and in You Lord I can trust, I confess  my sins and seek to be Saved by Your Grace as You have provided a way for me to be cleansed by Your Blood. Lord today I turn my life over to You that I can be guided by Your Holy Spirit, Lord come into my heart and make me a new creation from this day forward. Lord Jesus be with me as I now look to You as my Lord and Savior, In Your name Lord Jesus I pray... Amen.
