Devotionals for Sunday: April 30, 2017

Reality Check… Are you sharing His Providence? His Grace, His Salvation and His Invitation to others?

Focus:       What’s the Prime of your life? Is it 40-50-60 or?  It is a combination of physical, mental by adding Spiritual your Prime is extended.

The age-old idiom of ‘You can’t teach an old dog new tricks’ may be not so true, but it may mean that it is very difficult to teach someone new skills or to change someone's habits or character.

There’s no age at which we are best at everything, or even most things… Josh Hartshorne at Harvard University conducted the study that even concluded there could be an upside in your flagging libido.

Our mental abilities rise and fall in waves as we keep on developing skills, we may even expand our reading comprehension and our mathematic skill improves.  So, getting better with age may not only apply to vintage wines, but we are an amazing creation and more so when we add God to the equation of aging.

When God chooses you, you could be as old as ever, as His mission in your life will be fulfilled, let’s look at:

  • Noah was 500 years old when he started to build the Ark, and 600 years old when he entered the ark.
  • Moses was 80 years old when he entered the palace of Pharaoh to tell him… Exodus 5:1

[First Encounter with Pharaoh] Afterward Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.’

  • David killed Goliath when he was only 15 years old…

So regardless of your age, be prepared to serve the Lord.

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

His Faithfulness:

Jesus the giver of Life – everlasting, remember that a ‘Free’ Gift had to be bought by the giver, and Jesus bought His Priceless Gift with His Life by dying for us, and His Payment was Redeemed by the Father as He Rose from death. His Resurrection is a Witness of what He has endowed for those in Jesus who shall also share in His Glory through His Divine Redemption.

Yes, we can receive His ‘Priceless-Gift’ right now and be made a Joint-Heir in Christ our Savior.

Matthew 10:32

[Confess Christ Before Men] “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess (you) before My Father who is in heaven. In Context | Full Chapter

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior. Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name, I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we come through Jesus our Lord and Savior. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Divine Grace and we thank You for each Visitors that are returning to our websites to read Your Good News. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday: April 29, 2017

Jesus said…        The Great Commission…  “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”

When Jesus said to Mary…” Go and tell the others” … and we are also given this ‘Great-Commission’ to bring the Gospel-the Good News to the ends of the earth, till that day when we shall see Him.

John 11 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

He will also call us by Name, just as He said ‘MARY’,

John 20: 16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).

John 20: 21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

Today, knowing that Jesus said… Receive the Holy Spirit, let us receive His Peace…

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. In Context | Full Chapter |

As we sojourn through this life, we want to reflect on the following…

Our time is like the sands of time… but God’s time is endless, He is without end.

Jesus to John to ‘Write these things down”

 TEXT: Revelation 22:13 [Full Chapter]

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Revelation 1:8

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” In Context | Full Chapter |

In life, the time spent on a project sometimes become center-stage.  Our time on earth, the journey of life is also a practice run. As someone said, “we are in training” so choose to receive the correct training that when life’s over we will be placed in the right position, and that position is loving our Lord. As in His Kingdom there will be no ‘Ruler’ as we shall abide by our adoration of serving our Eternal God.

You may say, why do I need God? I don’t have him now, and I am just doing fine? Really? Your life is a vapor and the Bible said…

2 Peter 3:3

Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. In Context | Full Chapter

James 5:3

Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. In Context | Full Chapter

James 4:14 [Full Chapter]

Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

Good News:

Coming to the Lord: Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…come to Christ and accept Him as He offers His saving Grace, ask Him to forgive you and make you a new creation in Him.

EVENING:

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3 And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Devotionals for Friday:  April 28, 2017

Focus:   When Jesus said… The meek shall inherit the earth” He was speaking of His Kingdom.

MORNING:

The Good News for today are:

Focus:   “The battle is not yours, but God’s. … Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.”

Commentary:   Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking:  “ASK” Luke 11: 9-12

“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

Note: Philippians 4: 6 (The Amplified New Testament)

Verse 6: Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition (a defined request) with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
    he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Devotionals for Thursday: April 27, 2017

Be aware…         Angels unaware… never envy the prominence of people living worldly lives, its only temporary.

In the New International Version (NIV) Angel is mentioned 290 times, from Genesis to Revelation.

Moses and the burning ‘Bush’

In Exodus 3…  There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”

When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”

And Moses said, “Here I am.”

“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” Then he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.

The angel of the Lord was present with God, the “I AM” this was and is the same ‘I AM” that answered the several hundred Roman soldiers that came to arrest Jesus, and s He said, ‘I AM’ they all fell back.

Jesus is the same Yesterday, dating back to the beginning as Yeshua, who was these with Elohim the Father and today He is here and His angels are all around us.

Genesis 1 [Full Chapter]

The Beginning] In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. ...

Remember the Sun was not yet made until the 5th day, so Jesus who is the light of the world came on day-1.

2017 years ago, Jesus came as a man…

Matthew 1:21 New International Version (NIV)

21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

1,984 years ago, Jesus Ascended to heaven…

Acts 1:11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Jesus revealed the secret of His Kingdom…

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

The angels were created by God for one purpose: to carry out His will. The Bible says, "Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will" (Psalm 103:21).

One way they do this is by watching over God's people and protecting us from the evil schemes of our spiritual enemy, the devil. Although they are largely unseen by us, God's angels are constantly at work to safeguard us -- and when our life's journey is over, they will accompany us into God's presence in heaven forever. The Bible calls them "ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation" (Hebrews 1:14).

The Bible doesn't say the angels pray for us -- and the reason is because One far greater than the angels already is praying for us: the Lord Jesus Christ. He alone is the divine Son of God, who even now sits in heaven interceding for us (see Hebrews 7:25). Is your faith and trust in Him -- both for today and for eternity?

Prayer: Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer…  Lord Jesus You said no one comes to the Father unless through You Lord, and today we come in Your Holy presence Lord Jesus knowing that You are at the Right-Hand of the Father our Creator in Whom you are God in One of His Divine Trinity.  Lord Jesus in Faith we go forward knowing that You are the same Yesterday, Today and Forever; Lord bless this day as we look to You and by Your Grace we can do all things Through You as it is written… I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
Father we thank You through Jesus our Savior and our Sovereign God of all, we thank You for the privilege of spreading Your Good News and for the many Visitors, Lord bless each and everyone... Lord Jesus in Your Holy name we pray and give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…
Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday: April 26, 2017

Be advised…      You haven’t lost the best years of your life, it is still ahead, know it, claim it, and know it to be so

His Promise:

Hebrews 13:5

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Philippians 4: 6: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4: 13 I can do all things through Christ[b] who strengthens me.

Philippians 4: 19 & 20 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen

Action/Coming to our Lord:

What will we need for the Journey? It’s already provided… Why not get it?

Not to be repetitious, it is to highlight the ‘Command’ that was broken, causing us all as descendants from Adam to be from this linage that was condemned to die… to the day that we accept the Priceless Gift.

But you might say, I am a good person, I do not steal, I do not go contrary to the 10 commandments, and I also attend church or; I observe the Sabbath and is in the Temple praising God, all this is good, but we did not commit the sin, it was handed down to us because of Adam and therefore we are sinners.

Conclusion:

Now that he has made this right, by paving the way, creating the passageway, such a unique route that man cannot sell tickets for this journey, we can all get aboard.  This Passageway is the ‘Priceless-Gift’ that all the Gold in the world cannot purchase, nor can we earn it by our own doing.

Ephesians 2: 8-9-10 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Prayer:

Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Eternal Sovereign God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus thank You for coming and thank You for Your Divine Redemption; Lord today as we acknowledge You before all knowing that You are seated on the Throne of Righteous, we recognize Your Power of Your Divine Resurrection and Your Majestic Glory as King of kings and Lord of lords and You are Sovereign Lord Jesus. As said in the scriptures that you were there from the beginning of it all and You are the Great “I AM”, Lord we Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals Tuesday:        April 25, 2017

A pleasant surprise… No ‘Short-cut’ but we may be taken through detours that is an Oasis, instead of the desert.

There are conflicting reports that the deserts are shrinking but it is expanding. An example of this is the GOBI desert just west of Beijing, China. The Tennger desert is next to the urban regions of China’s most populous cities. The Oasis are shrinking and the water table is lower than ever.

The real ‘Oasis’ is the ‘Living-Water’, and Christ is the Living Water…

John 7:38

Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”

In Context | Full Chapter |

Thoughts for the Day: Is your ‘Inner-Spring’ going dry? Is the cistern overgrown with bushes, restore the Flow of Living Water

Good News:  Trusting in God –For there is one God and one Mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for us. 1 Timothy 2: 5-6

TEXT: John 7:37-38, Jesus said: "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." And then John unlocks the mystery of Jesus' words. By this, John said, Jesus meant the Spirit.

Commentary: Water is essential for our hydration…

The amount of water in the human body ranges from 50-75%. The average adult human body is 50-65% water, averaging around 57-60%. The percentage of water in infants is much higher, typically around 75-78% water, dropping to 65% by one year of age.

Water is mentioned in the Holy Bible 396 times (KJV) There are 28 Bible Verses about ‘LIVING-WATER’

Look what the Lord has endowed to us all…

Revelation 7:15-17 New International Version (NIV)

15 Therefore,

“they are before the throne of God
    and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
will shelter them with his presence.
16 ‘Never again will they hunger;
    never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’
    nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne
    will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’

While the Bible refers to the Shepherd leading them to the springs of living water, it is not depicting being led to the watering place, it is saying what Jesus said…  “Whoever believes in me”, they will already have the rivers of living water that will flow from within them.

A Fact that everyone should know… He (God) Created us in His Likeness, and being in His likeness, we never Die, as he lives forever... So, come to Him today and Accept His Priceless Gift and be sealed with His Blood of Atonement.

Conclusion:

His Grace is the Catalyst that ignites our Faith and when these two forces are fused together the power of His Redemption is now in us.  No one comes to the Father unless through Jesus His Son our Redeemer. Therefore, the Power our Faith + His Grace x Life²= Everlasting Life in Christ Jesus. This equation is the highest power of all mathematic formulae.

  1. Colossians 1:15
The Supremacy of the Son of God] The Son is theimage of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. End of Text.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we have Victory in You through Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus today we come and thank You for the Power of Your Grace as we in Faith combine Your Grace with our Faith in You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord let our Visitors be Blessed and grant them Your Peace. Lord we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore.  Amen.

Devotionals for Monday: April 24, 2017

Share this…       The Providence of God… Find it, know it, receive it and share it…

Commentary: Our Lord let it rain on both the just and the unjust…. But in our life, we cannot have Faith without knowing His Holiness, His Graciousness, His Unconditional love and above all His Divine Redemption.  He sends His Showers of Blessings…

Matthew 5:45

That you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Matthew 5:44-46 (in Context) Matthew 5 (Whole Chapter)

Today as we check the weather report, are we deserving of His blessings?  Some western weather reporters report rainy weather as a ‘bad-day’ in the Asian society; it would be described as ‘what a lovely shower of rain’.

Looking ahead for this week, we see challenges but the days ahead are really filled with opportunities… why? We will meet new people, we will visit with friends, and we can pass-on the Good News.  The good news is that all what we need will be provided by the Providence of our Lord to those that seek Him.  Look at Matthew a Tax Collector that used his mission in life to bring the Good News of Jesus to his Jewish people.

Matthew’s message was and is focused to the Jews and the Gentiles as well, that Jesus is the Messiah, and through Jesus the deliverance from sin and its effect is available to both Jews and Gentiles.

To the unbeliever, Matthew made his statement that Jesus welcomes those who called upon our Lord as He is the Savior of the world, (The world means living beings not the physical word)

Because our Lord knows our thoughts, He said … Matthew 6:8

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Matthew 6:7-9 (in Context) Matthew 6 (Whole Chapter)

Devotionals for Sunday:    April 23, 2017

Know this…           Our best is not enough; our righteousness is a filthy rag.

Who said this? Yet Jesus said… There is a way;  Because our Sovereign Eternal Savior, Jesus Christ the Son of God, who is God Incarnate in His Holy Trinity is our Mediator and is Interceding for us to His Father, Jesus our Redeemer sitting on the Throne of Righteousness who Paid-It-All… we are presented to his Father as ‘Redeemed’ and through His Blood of Atonement we are no long filthy rags.

What a privilege our Lord Jesus gave us… He took us out of the trash-heap and made us into fine-linen worthy of coming into the Presence of His Father.

TEXT: Hebrews 1: 14   Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

COMMENTARY: When you know and trust our Lord, the Bible said…”He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” Psalm 91:11.  Only our Lord prays for us, as His angels are constantly at work to safeguard us, His angels are here to minister to us and to guide us into our Lord’s presence at our life’s journey in heaven forever.

Jesus said… No one comes to the Father unless through Him…

John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 14:5-7 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Jesus is not our ‘Buddy’ He is the Supreme-Sovereign God in One of The Father, yet He said…. I am your friend… John 15:15

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord:

So, when we gather in His Holy Name, remember Jesus is always in our Midst. Jesus said…  “Where two or more are gathered in my name, I am in the Midst” Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Good News -His Faithfulness:

When you know and trust our Lord, the Bible said…”He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” Psalm 91:11.  Only our Lord prays for us, as His angels are constantly at work to safeguard us, His angels are here to minister to us and to guide us into our Lord’s presence at our life’s journey in heaven forever.  His angels are sent to serve those who loves the Lord and those our Lord made Joint-Heirs to His Kingdom.

Because our Sovereign Eternal Savior, Jesus Christ the Son of God, who is God Incarnate in His Holy Trinity is our Mediator and is Interceding for us to His Father, Jesus our Redeemer sitting on the Throne of Righteousness who Paid-It-All, and He died and through His Divine Resurrection, we are presented to his Father as ‘Redeemed’ and through His Blood of Atonement we are no long filthy rags.

What a privilege our Lord Jesus gave us… He took us out of the trash-heap and made us into fine-linen worthy of coming into the Presence of His Father.

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart…

In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come, Lord Jesus thank You for being our Mediator to the Father.  Lord it is because of Your Righteousness we are privileged to come in Your Holy Presence.  Lord thank You for Your Divine Grace as You have prepared a place for us all knowing that You have said You are not of this world… Lord as we go in faith, Lord remove the challenges and lead us all to green pastures as it is by Your Divine Providence that You gave us an abundant life and a more-abundant life to come. Lord we thank You for the Visitors to this site, bless us all Jesus Messiah, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday:  April 22, 2017

Imagine this…        What is the ‘Twinkling of an eye ‘? It is Going from Terrestrial to Celestial, yes you can…

Will you be one that have this experience?

Yes, you can…

:  Time is the element that cannot be regained, but sometimes what we think was wasted is in fact a preparation for the future.

Many times, working on a project that was later abandoned because of a change of plans and the time spent not counting the cost would be written off. This is when one would say…”If only I could turn back time”

In life, we all have experienced the desire to ‘turn-back time’ it is like the computers, sometime it is necessary to do a ‘recovery’ process backing up the systems to a date in the past to reset the registry. Occasionally this is needed as the automatic-updates from the operating system providers change the protocol or it is necessary to reset the routers because of interruptions, Etc.

Our time is like the sands of time… but God’s time is endless, He is without end

TEXT: Revelation 22:13 [Full Chapter]  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Revelation 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” In Context | Full Chapter |

In life, the time spent on the abandoned project sometimes become center-stage.

2 Peter 3:3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. In Context | Full Chapter

James 5:3 Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. In Context | Full Chapter

James 4:14 [Full Chapter] Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow.

We all need a Savior… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jJPcjeP2SI

Friday:                The fastest rocket cannot compare tJesus’ mode of transport…

Speed of Light = 671 million (6.71×108) Miles per hour:

We have nothing that can achieve the speed of light… yet God did place a feature in each of us to have that final moment of quantum physic, the moment the soul leaves the body.

We spoke of Quantum-Physics and scientist’s theory of time-travel which is still a mystery, we also said that our Lord already has this in use… No, we are not writing science-fiction we are simply expounding what Jesus said and did.  Jesus said…” I am not of this world”, so where is He:  We read of Jesus’ Ascension…

Luke 24:49-51 New International Version (NIV)

Now in the life of leisure not having to go to the office, or travelling on business trips, the question is still what is next?

We have Good News for those in the workplaces, retirement, and those facing life’s challenges of the sunset years…  If you were asked this question; would you like to leave this world and be with Jesus who told the thief on the cross; “Today you will be with me in Paradise” or would you prefer to remain right where you are? This is a personal question, so we will let you answer this on your own.

Fact: You could be richer than the richest person on earth!

The richest man on earth believing that he is wealthy, he will one day be turned into the ‘Penniless’ man in the cemetery.  The richest of all are those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book-of-life.

Earthly wealth is easily lost… but heavenly Treasures are eternal.  Here’s a tory worth repeating…

Focus:    A story worth repeating, the love of the father and the arrogance of the son. But there is a ‘Son’ that endured all for His Father

Jesus told about the Prodigal Son:

Image result for picture of farmLuke 15:11-32New International Version (NIV)

The Parable of the Lost Son

11 Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. 12 The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So, he divided his property between them.

13 “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. 14 After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. 15 So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. 16 He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.

17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father.

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So, they began to celebrate.

25 “Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. 27 ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’

28 “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So, his father went out and pleaded with him. 29 But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. 30 But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’

31 “My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. 32 But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”

Commentary:  The Lost brother that came home repented and sought the Father’s forgiveness, and he was well received and his father embraced him… yet we see the other brother who was ‘loyal’ and never did anything to seek his lost brother, but kept his duties, what do we have here? We have a son that was keeping pace of doing his duties and probably waiting to inherit the entire estate. The ‘loyal’ son lacked the compassion, he valued his future inheritance more than his brother. And even when his brother returned he spurned him and never welcomed him home. The final analysis he was more concerned for his share of the estate that may now be compromised by the return of his lost brother.

Good News:

There is a Son that endure forever…  Jesus gave His life for us, and His share of the Kingdom, because all are His. He went to the Cross and paid for our sins, and when we return to Him and repent, He gives us a part of the Kingdom.

We are just like the Prodigal son… because Adam received his inheritance which was the ultimate estate, the ‘Garden of Eden’ it was squandered by going against what God commanded. But Christ came and as we go to Him, we are received with a welcome arm, just as the father who welcomed his lost son.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father ion Jesus we come… Lord Jesus thank you today for making us Joint-heirs in You to Your Father’s Kingdom.  Lord we are privileged to serve You and Lord bless our Visitors and grant us Your Providence as we lay up treasures in Heaven knowing that You Lord Jesus will be our rewards. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, we pray… Amen.

Do this…    Sharing the Providence of the Lord…

What is God’s Providence? To some it may be the things that we are surrounded with, the things that He has provided for our daily lives.  But God’s Providence goes much further, it is the something that money cannot purchase.

The Providence of the Lord is greater that the anything we can imagine.

Remember Jesus said… All your needs will be met. Be patient do not do what Sara did.

Thoughts for the day: God’s timeline is His, our timeline are usually flawed, and God knows what’s best for us all.

Text: “The battle is not yours, but God’s. … Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.”

Commentary:  Writing about Sara and her decision that brought Ishmael into this world and this is why the Jews have so many enemies…  The lesson is being patient and wait on the Lord…

Today, Christians are being persecuted, killed and the feud continues stemming back from the parting of ways between Sarah and Hagar, and the offspring of Ishmael as predestined by God to be like a wild donkey remain militant against the Jews.

God’s Covenant will never pass away, and His assurance in Chronicles and in Deuteronomy must be remembered and respected. And for us Gentiles, God made it clear in Romans 8:31-39 More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This “Priceless’ Gift is the gift that as Jesus said… John 14:2-3 (NKJV)
2. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:1-3 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

But, notice, in Jesus’ statement there was a caveat (Warning) the word ‘IF” this is a major preface that applies to each of us, Jesus was saying If we qualify, and He meant, IF we were saved by His Redemption, which he later provided on the Cross, then He would go and prepare a place for each of us that accepted His Redemption.

This is not an automatic gift, it must be received by each of us by coming to Him personally and acknowledging that you are a sinner and needed His Redemption, and by His Blood of Atonement, you will receive His SEAL that is a Down Payment on our Soul by His Blood and we are now written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

What a Gift He gave us, Praise God and Yield to His Son who is God Eternal.

Thoughts for the Day: What will you do with the Increase of abundance when received? Are you ready to handle it?

TEXT: Proverbs 3:9

Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the first fruits of all your increase;

Proverbs 3:8-10 (in Context) Proverbs 3 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary: The true test of one’s ability to be a good steward is when the abundance of the Lord is received.  Wealth, is somewhat associated with change of attitudes, it can make one arrogant, boastful, proud with ‘Pride’ but for those that know that ‘Pride’ comes before destruction, they will remain humble and in some cases, are made a better person to share the providence of the Lord with many.

The love of anything that takes up our focus can be counted as an ‘Idol’ therefore do not place too much importance on anything that takes precedence over our Lord.  The Bible said… let you your giving be done in secret:

Prayer:  Prayer: Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Lord and Savior.  . Lord we are privileged to bring Your message of being good-stewards for Your Glory. Lord all wealth and honor come from You Lord and without You Lord Jesus we can do nothing.  Lord we honor You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and in Your Hands, are strength and Power. Lord be with our Visitors as we all go in Faith looking to that day when we shall see You Lord Jesus. Lord we give You thanks and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday:    April 18, 2017

Think on this…       Can we have ‘real’ peace?

Peace in the world or Peace in your heart?

History dating back to Biblical times told us about many wars. The book of Joshua whom God commanded to enter Canaan, the battle plans drawn up by God even included the spies taken in by Rahab the prostitute, the supernatural collapse of the wall of Jericho, God even made the sun to stand still, and the eventual conquer of the southern cities.

So, today as we look at Syria and parts of the Middle-East, it is like Deja-vu all over.  Is history revealing the future? Do we ever learn? Peace is broken by mankind in the form of religion, greed and ethnicity; but, it is often the ‘Class-standards’ created by prejudice and disdain for each other’s way of life.

No nation is better than any other… why the inhabitants of each nation consists of people and people are living beings all created by God.  So anytime we feel ‘superior’ to any other nation(s) this is when we begin to slide on the slippery-slope. Yes, God did allow nations to be conquered by the Israelite, but He also let them be conquered by other nation; as in the case of the Babylonians invading Israel.

So, when will us humans learn the rules of God’s Commandment?  What is God’s greatest commandment?

Matthew 22: 34-40

The Greatest Commandment

34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[c] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

All gains, benefits or whatever we receive, earn or purchased will be lost… why, when we turn away from God this occurs each time.  Great nations have fallen.  But when we stop and know that He is God, and look to Him…

Nehemiah 1:9 but if you return to me and obey my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.’ In Context | Full Chapter |

The lack of ‘Neighborly love’ is the root of all conflicts…  By following Jesus’ command, there would be no conflict leading to ‘Real-Peace’

Let it begin with one person, our self and joined together we can make a difference by calling on His Name…

2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. In Context | Full Chapter |

Prayer: Heavenly Father we come knowing that our Lord Jesus is in our midst. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your abiding Grace and we thank You for Your Divine Providence granted to our Visitors as we give You the Glory and to You Lord Jesus be the Power now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday April 17,2017

Why do we have challenges? Some are self-imposed, some are shared burdens, and some are unplanned…

In life, many move from the country to the city, retiring from their city careers to move back to the country for a peaceful retirement.  So, spending thirty or more years living in the city to move back to the country, why not just stay in the country first place?

Even when God choose you for His mission you will have challenges, Mary and Joseph faced, any challenges, they had to leave the town of Bethlehem for Egypt to avoid Herod’s pursuit. Even the mother of Jesus had challenges to the day when her son Jesus our Messiah was crucified.

But we are to take all the challenges in stride. We can count on the Lord as Jesus said do not worry.

Jesus gave-the secret to life…

Matthew 6:25-34 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—

Commentary:

The Supremacy of Jesus He was before Abraham, He is the first born over all creation!  For by Him all things were created here on Earth and in Heaven. His coming as a man was to fulfill the Prophecy of Isaiah (Isaiah 53) to Redeem us.

Colossians 1:  15- 18 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

What is the chief reason for conflicts? The word is ‘Human’, and all wars should be re-named Human Conflicts.

So, let us spread the Really Good News Today… To us is Born a Savior… Emanuel; God with us!

The word of the Lord in the message from the Angel… Good Tiding (News) of Great JOY, which God gave to ‘All-People’ this is a broad statement and it is the greatest News ever!... How can we be part of this “JOY”?  Remember Jesus said…” I am not of this world’”

John 8:23
And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 8:22-24 (in Context) John 8 (Whole Chapter)

Our Lord also described His Kingdom as ‘Paradise’ This is the Key Element of His Good News, but not the Chief Factor of His Good News… The Chief Factor of His Good News is… He came to give Life and for us to have it more Abundantly…

John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John (in Context) John 10 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus as we acknowledge Your Sovereignty and Your Eminence on the Throne of Righteousness, we seek Your Divine mediation to the Father on our behalf. Lord, Your Word said, that You Lord Jesus is the only Mediator between man and the Father.  Lord we thank You for receiving us as we give You our praises. Lord. Bless our Visitors, and let Your Grace be upon each one as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:  April 16, 2017

A Triumphant Day….   Victory…” He is Risen” it is Resurrection Day, Death is swallowed up in Victory in Christ.

It is Resurrection Morning…

The angel said to Mary…

Matthew 28:6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus responded to Martha just before He raised Lazarus from the dead; John 11:25

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; In Context | Full Chapter |

Today as we go about our business, to work, school or even if we are staying home, just consider the scene of the Crucifixion where our Lord was beaten, even forced to carry the cross that he would be nailed to.  On the other hand, just consider that Jesus could have called ten thousand angels to His rescue. Why didn’t He? Because His sole reason for coming to earth was to shed His Blood of Atonement for you and me.   as we celebrate Easter…  Easter is the most Joyous time of the year just like Christmas, but Easter is the high point of Jesus’ mission to earth for the sole reason to Redeem those whom He loves. He loved us so much that he died for us, but death had no hold on our Messiah, Jesus who is the great “I AM” was there at the beginning of it all, in John 1:  The Word became Flesh….

Commentary: Have you ever wondered how many parents named their child ‘Judas’?  Some people being aware of the Thirty-Pieces of Silver will not buy or store coins in 30-piece lot, as this is the sum that Judas received to betray Jesus.

This week we are focused on The Betrayal, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection of our Lord.  Why did Jesus suffer the injustice of men?  Why did He not just ascend back to his Father? If He had done so without His Sacrifice at Calvary, we would all be eternally condemned and destined to eternal damnation.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Is Judas the only guilty one? Who betrayed God’s trust first?  Adam & Eve, both were equally guilty, what we found in Genesis, Adam blamed God for giving him the woman, and Eve blames the serpent.  Notice no one said they were sorry…. Judas did throw the 30 pieces of silver away and committed suicide in a fit of remorse and guilt. Today we are just about doing the same when we go against the will of our Lord. What is His will? To love Him with all our heart, and to love our neighbors, even when they are not the most compatible ones.

Our sins are not hidden, why, as descendants from Adam, we all are sinners, and you may say how about those that have never heard the Gospel? Are they still sinners? And if they have never heard the Good News of Christ Redemption on the Cross, will they be condemned to eternal damnation?  Our God is a God of Love and Justice, He will take care of those…

Conclusion: When Jesus returns, He will be seen from the East to the west.  His return will not be to ‘walk among us’ This will be…’The Day of The Lord’ and when He returns Grace will expire, Abraham said to God, “What if you found 10 good in Sodom, will you save Sodom?, He said… Yes, but there were not 10 but the Angels took LOT and his wife and Lot’s two daughters and then destroyed Sodom, Lot wife went against God’s instruction, not to look back at the city, she did and was turned into a pillar of salt.

On the day of the Lord, Earth will be laid bare, and those in Christ will be caught up in the air and be taken to His Kingdom. We did not make this up, read about this in 2 Peter 3:10

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.  2 Peter 3:9-11 (in Context) 2 Peter 3 (Whole Chapter)

God’s Providence is paramount to all of what this world can offer. Because what this world offers are all temporary. We may have some fulfillment when we get that new car, but in a few years, it will be ready to be considered a means of transportation that we must start looking to replace. All our fine clothes, shoes, etc. will need replacing. Nothing last forever, only the love of our Sovereign God. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

What Jesus said… “I will never leave you nor forsake you” this is a statement that will be forever…

Therefore, we can focus at: Titus 2:13-14 (NIV)

13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we reflect on Your Crucifixion and Your Triumphant Resurrection, Lord we thank you for Your Graciousness and Your Love. Lord we thank You for your Sacrifice at Calvary, and Your Blood of Atonement we receive Lord as we stand in Awe knowing that your choice was not to thwart Your persecutors as they brought You to the Cross Lord. We thank you for choosing to save us by your Grace. Lord We give You our Praises and thank you Lord for this privilege and we ask your blessings on our Visitors as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday: April 15, 2017

Remember…     It is not a time of despair, it is a time to claim Victory…

The disciples were bewildered by the event of the Crucifixion, somewhat lost in what took place, the trial of Jesus, the torture, the crown of thorn and then the crucifixion.  The event that followed the death of Jesus on the cross should have assured them of what the Lord said to them; that after three-days He would rise from the dead.

It's 'Good' Friday, and it is a day that our Lord was Crucified, so how could it be called a 'good-day'? It is a Great-Day because Jesus Paid-It-All...

The disciples thought it was a somber day and they were in mourning, as we see them on the road to Emmaus... Luke 24

As they walked along the road to Emmaus Jesus joined them, and they were so dazed they did not realized it was Jesus until they invited this ‘stranger’ to join them. As Jesus broke the bread their eyes were opened, and…

Luke 24: 13-35 On the Road to Emmaus

13 Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles[a] from Jerusalem. 14 They were talking with each other about everything that had happened. 15 As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them; 16 but they were kept from recognizing him.

17 He asked them, “What are you discussing together as you walk along?”

They stood still, their faces downcast. 18 One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, “Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?”

19 “What things?” he asked.

“About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. 20 The chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; 21 but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place. 22 In addition, some of our women amazed us. They went to the tomb early this morning 23 but didn’t find his body. They came and told us that they had seen a vision of angels, who said he was alive. 24 Then some of our companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but they did not see Jesus.”

25 He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?” 27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.

28 As they approached the village to which they were going, Jesus continued on as if he were going farther. 29 But they urged him strongly, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening; the day is almost over.” So, he went in to stay with them.

30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. 32 They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”

33 They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, assembled together 34 and saying, “It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.” 35 Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when he broke the bread.

Thank the Lord that we have the Gospel, as the disciples did not, they were living it.... so today we can declare this day to be a day of Victory.

Questions & Answers:   Why is today called ‘Good-Friday”? when our Lord was Crucified?  because He redeemed us, and by His Blood we are cleansed.

Jesus Paid-It-All… The inner-sanctum the most sacred place in a temple or church… This sacred place was separated by a thick curtain from the general assembly.  Only the Chief-Priest could enter,

Hebrews 9:6-8 New King James Version (NKJV) Hebrews 9:7

Limitations of the Earthly Service

Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services. But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance; the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.

On the Cross our Lord Jesus declared “It is Finished” ….

John 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. In Context | Full Chapter |

Luke 23:44-46New International Version (NIV)

The Curtain was Torn - The Death of Jesus

44 It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, 45 for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. 46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”[a] When he had said this, he breathed his last.

Matthew 27: 51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and[e] went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

We are to tear down the barriers to achieve the secret of satisfaction in coming to Jesus and fellowship in Christ in Oneness; knowing that we can find the fulfillment of all our needs in fellowship with God. We thank our Lord Jesus for His Faithfulness and for His unspeakable gift.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 NIV

Principle:  Humbleness and Meekness shall triumph over pride and the boastful ones will be debased.  Pride debases those that boast and put their trust in money and earthly things…. Correct Living is rooted in Christ    Pride displaces God from the heart in favor of Self

Hebrews 10:23 New International Version (NIV)

23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Let us not judge others, and remembering that forgiveness is the first step towards building a relationship among each other.  To be less self-centered and Christ Centered

What a privilege He gave us to be able to come to Him. Hebrews 7:25..."Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him (Jesus), because He always lives to intercede for them. (Hebrews 7:25 NIV)

Conclusion:

To know Christ… Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus today as are gathered Lord as You said You are in their midst… Lord Jesus we give You the Glory as we seek Your blessings on us all. Lord bless our visitors as we bring Your messages for Your Glory that many will come to know You Lord, as only what’s done for You Lord will last.  Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You, and in You Lord Jesus we commit all to You and Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday:  April 13, 2017

Imagine…        Man’s plot to crucify Christ was ordered from the Almighty, but they did not know it.

Today as the remnants of the Tribunal group known as the Sanhedrin continues to regroup after the Crucifixion, the Prominence of Christ continues and this week as we remember the greatest Gift of all times… The Salvation of all through the Blood of our Savior Jesus the Lamb of God.

As we say… Easter is a time for ‘Receiving’ and through this Holy week to the day of Pentecost, we will be receiving His Abundance through His Holy Spirit.

Hebrews 2:9

But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. In Context | Full Chapter |

The Power and the Glory of our Savior’s Divine Resurrection is celebrated this week and this event is a prelude to many coming events. Regardless who you are, you may be a governor of a state, the king or queen of a sovereign nation, or a citizen of earth, we need to know that al shall bow and knew to Him, our Majestic Messiah.

So, looking to the forthcoming events, one of the most prominent and to some a state of devastation… this is the ‘Day of the Lord’ But through Jesus we are all given the opportunity to be ‘Set-aside’ through His Seal by His Blood. This day we refer to as the Final-Passover.

Exodus 12:27

then tell them, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice to the Lord, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt and spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.’” Then the people bowed down and worshiped.

The Day of the Lord…

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. In Context | Full Chapter |

At the Cross Jesus said, ‘It is Finished” and through His Sacrifice, the Curtain of the Temple was torn, revealing Him as our High Priest, no more do we need to be ceremoniously cleaned to come to Him, and through Him we are presented to the Father.

Coming to our Lord:

John 1:12-13 (NIV) 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

Conclusion: Today as we go about our business, to work, school or even if we are staying home, just consider the scene of the Crucifixion where our Lord was beaten, even forced to carry the cross that he would be nailed to.  On the other hand, just consider that Jesus could have called ten thousand angels to His rescue. Why didn’t He? Because His sole reason for coming to earth was to shed His Blood of Atonement for you and me.  This week we will be visiting the Passover and the events leading up to the Empty Tomb, as we celebrate Easter.  Easter is the most Joyous time of the year just like Christmas, but Easter is the high point of Jesus’ mission to earth for the sole reason to Redeem those whom He loves. He loved us so much that he died for us, but death had no hold on our Messiah, Jesus who is the great “I AM” was there at the beginning of it all, in John 1:  The Word became Flesh….

Devotionals for Wednesday:  April 12, 2017

Notice…   Keeping His ‘Cool’ Jesus never panic, always keeping calm, because he knew the answers…

John 19: When Pilate heard this, he was even more afraid,

and he went back inside the palace. “Where do you come from?” he asked Jesus, but Jesus gave him no answer. 10 “Do you refuse to speak to me?” Pilate said. “Don’t you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?”

11 Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore, the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.”

Luke 23:34

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus is King of kings, and far more than a King.  He is Lord of lord and God in One of the Father…

In the Heavenly realms, nothing has changed, The Lord made the wall of Jericho fall, He stilled the Water, He walked on Water, and He Ascended into heaven.

Colossians 1:15-22 New International Version (NIV)

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of[a] your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—

Ezekiel 1: 23-28

This described the Power and the Glory of the Lord.  So, today we Praise Jesus our Redeemer who sits at the Right-hand of God.

25 Then there came a voice from above the vault over their heads as they stood with lowered wings. 26 Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. 27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.

This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

Conclusion: Today we look at a world that is so separated by man’s greed and exploitation, looking back at the day of Pentecost Verse 8, 9 & 10 above) there was a gathering of Jews, Iranian, Arabs from Libya, Cyprus and other regions; will we come together on the day of the Lord?  Syria (Antioch) is known to have been the birth place of the Church of Christianity in the city of Antioch. (Now part of Turkey) As we see a divided world of Moslems, Jews, Christians and other beliefs of Buddhism and others, we have a world that has drifted apart from God with their own agenda to dominate their regions and to expand their religion on a global basis. Notice: the word used is “Religion” Religion is not Salvation, only Jesus Christ represents Salvation as Jesus is the only one that Died for our Sins. No one else died for others, except Jesus who made the Sacrifice to Redeem us from Sin.

In Heaven, there will be no Moslem, Buddhists, Catholics, Presbyterians, Baptists or Pentecostals. Maybe we should add…Mormons, Adventist, and Jehovah Witnesses.  Only ‘Born-Again’ Followers of Christ (Christians) will be there.

The Good news is: You can come to Jesus and be assured that you will be counted among the gathering in His Kingdom.

Prayer: Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus as He Paid It All… Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions and where You are we will be. Lord let Your Holy Spirit be with our Visitors and us as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God, to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Be aware…  Enlightenment is a privilege we must accept, to deny it, this is danger, so listen up…

When Jesus stood before Pilate, somehow Pilate sensed that Jesus was much more than just whom the Sanhedrin claimed Jesus to be… they claimed Jesus to be a liar and an enemy of Caesar and denied Jesus as the Messiah.

Enlightenment came to the Sanhedrin and to Pilate, to Pilate it was his position as governor, and to the Sanhedrin it was the potential loss of their recognition as community-leaders. So, both parties sacrificed the Lord in exchange for their earthly gain.  What a loss suffered that gave them nothing in the end.

Today as you are enlightened by the Good News of Christ’s Redeeming Blood, and His Salvation, do not let what Pilate and the Sanhedrin suffered.  Come to Christ today as he is ready to receive you with open arms.

:  Jesus said… Do not worry, yet we do. If you have made your request known to Him, worrying is a form of mistrust, stay in Faith.

It is up to us… God made us free-thinkers, so make the right choices.

TEXT: John 14:3 And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

COMMENTARY:

“You cannot sell what you do not own” The story of François-Marie Arouet, better known by his nom de plume Voltaire, was a French Enlightenment writer, historian and philosopher

Frederick II (the Great) was King of Prussia from 1740 to 1786 who held a social gathering to which he invited the infamous atheist Voltaire. Voltaire was a scoffer and as an unbeliever remarked “I’ll sell my place in heaven for a gold coin”, no one else was able to match his daring offering until a council member stood up and said, “Sir, anyone wishing to sell anything must first produce proof of ownership.  If you produce your title to a place in heaven, I’ll buy it for as much gold as you demand.”  This profound statement silenced this scoffer, who normally would have a witty answer.

Principles:

  1. Do not give permission to the evil one. Did you know the devil cannot use you unless you grant your permission to allow him?
  2. Why the devil does want your soul? Because you are worth a lot to Jesus
  3. The Power of Prayer... Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said…

John 14:3
And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

His Warning: Be aware of Jesus’ statement, He said ‘If”; why? Because while He was going, He would only build a place for those that are in Faith and the unbelievers would not be an heir to His Kingdom. (Therefore, Voltaire the Atheist could not sell what he did not have the rights to.) Many of us read this and presumed that Jesus’ statement of Him going meant that ‘everyone’ would receive a ‘place’, there is no entitlement by default, and Jesus statement of “IF” was very specific to believers in Faith.

Only He (our Lord) knows the future…James 4: 14

Text:       James 4:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that through You our Savior we are made Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom. Devotionals for Monday April 10th, 2017

Know this:  Prophecy fulfilled and being fulfilled today…

This week we will celebrate our Risen Lord, the Great ‘I AM’

John 18:6

When Jesus said, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Judas who betrayed Jesus came with a “Detachment’ which is 1/10th of the troop of 4,200 to 6,000 soldiers, therefore the contingent that came with Judas to arrest Jesus would be around 420 to 600 soldiers.

Jesus remained calm, and declared Himself to be “I AM” he who you are seeking… the declaration of “I AM” threw the soldiers to the ground.  This was God’s declaration that they had no power of Jesus.

Isaiah 53: New International Version (NIV) https://www.biblegateway.com/audio/mclean/niv/Isa.53

53 Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.

Surely he took up our pain
    and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
    stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
    each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
    the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed and afflicted,
    yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people he was punished.[b]
He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and though the Lord makes[c] his life an offering for sin,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.
11 After he has suffered,
    he will see the light of life[d] and be satisfied[e];
by his knowledge[f] my righteous servant will justify many,
and he will bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,[g]
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,[h]
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.

Jesus said these Words:

John 8:12Dispute Over Jesus’ Testimony ] When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” In Context | Full Chapter

John 8:23 But he continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

Devotionals for Sunday:   April 9, 2017

Question…    Which will you choose…the Past, the Presence or the Future? Choose Christ He is your assurance to an

                               eternal future.

Our Lord is Omniscient… having complete or unlimited knowledge, awareness, or understanding; perceiving all things.

The past is not important, it is the present and what’s in store for us tomorrow.

When you have asked for forgiveness the Lord removes your sin as far as the east is from the west, and He remembers it no more… only the devil will remind you so that you feel that status-quo feeling to continue sinning.  The Lord is telling us to enjoy the Victory in Him.

So, know that the Bible said… Romans 8:1

Life Through the Spirit] Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

Celebrate our Lord’s Victory at the Cross… the forces of evil thought the crucifixion was the end of Jesus, but it was the ‘Beginning’ of Salvation though Him.  Our Lord in His Infinite Wisdom and Power triumphed on the day to Jesus’ Crucifixion, the sun went dark for three hours, an event that has never been repeated.

In preparation for the last and greatest ‘Passover’ the Blood of Jesus was shed at Calvary for us, this is His ‘Seal’ that will protect His elect on that fateful day known as the Day of the Lord…

2 Peter 3:10

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

2 Corinthians 5:21

New International Version (NIV)

21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Hebrews 13 New International Version (NIV)

Concluding Exhortations

1 Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. 2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.3 Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

1 Corinthians 15: 42-58

“Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”[f]; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. 46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. 47 The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. 48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. 49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we[g] bear the image of the heavenly man.

50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

55 “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”

56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Lord and Savior… Lord Jesus thank you for being in our midst and Lord we thank you for Your Divine Grace as by Your Blood we are saved and Lord today as many gather in Your Holy Presence let Your message of Your Salvation be heard and many will come to You. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your providence and Your blessings on us all.  In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, we go in faith knowing we have Victory in You and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Is it Organic? This is the most over-used word…’Organic’, we even have Organic Water Coconuts…

Buying ‘Organic’ you may not be getting what you think…  We tend to think that being ‘Organic’ it is free of fertilizer and other forms of pesticide.  Yes, it may not contain pesticide’ but there are artificial fertilizer and even use of other ‘organic’ fertilizers that scientists are now saying excessive use can harm the soil.  So, if excessive use of alternative fertilizer can harm the soil, much less your stomach, think on this…

Recent report: Excessive doses of organic residues in agricultural fields could be dangerous for plants, invertebrates and micro-organisms living in the soil. This is the finding of a study carried out by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), which has shown that the use of appropriate levels of fertilizers would prevent this toxic impact on the soil biota.

Although controlled amounts of organic residues, sewage sludge and animal waste are a good choice for soil fertilization, they can have damaging effects on soil biota when applied in excessive doses. In an effort to prevent these toxic impacts on soil, a team of researchers from the UAB’s Centre for Ecological Research and Forestry Applications (CREAF) has carried out a test that sets the maximum safe doses for organic fertilizers.

“We based this on bio-trials in the laboratory using soil-based organisms that are representative of agro-ecosystems, and which need to be protected: plants (Brassica rapa, Lolium perenne and Trifolium pratense), earthworms, annelids, collembola and micro-organisms,” the study’s lead author Xavier Domene told SINC.

The research, which has been published in the magazine Environmental Pollution, shows that the low levels of stability in the residues used is one of the main reasons for their damaging effects on plants and animals. “The rapid decomposition of the residue in the ground generates substances such as ammonia, which is the main cause of the toxic effects observed,” said Domene.

What the Lord has provided, let us consider this…

Acts 11New King James Version (NKJV)

Peter Defends God’s Grace

11 Now the apostles and brethren who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God. And when Peter came up to Jerusalem, those of the circumcision contended with him, saying, “You went in to uncircumcised men and ate with them!”

But Peter explained it to them in order from the beginning, saying: “I was in the city of Joppa praying; and in a trance, I saw a vision, an object descending like a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came to me. When I observed it intently and considered, I saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. And I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Rise, Peter; kill and eat.’ But I said, ‘Not so, Lord! For nothing common or unclean has at any time entered my mouth.’ But the voice answered me again from heaven, ‘What God has cleansed you must not call common.’ 10 Now this was done three times, and all were drawn up again into heaven. 11 At that very moment, three men stood before the house where I was,

Knowing that …  What God has cleansed you must not call common.

As we see the objective of the exercise in our quest to achieve our endeavors the pursuit should be to attain our goals without taking from anyone.  It is by the Love of Christ that we have His providence in making our endeavors a reality, why?  Because without Christ we can do nothing, Nada, Nil as we reflect on man saying to God, “I can improve the specie, I can make the crop resistance to pest, faster growth”, so God said… “Start but do not use anything I have made, get your own dirt your own water, your own seeds and your own root stock” Guess what? We have none unless we use His creation.

Remember God created us from Dust and to Dust we go, but being in His likeness we live forever.  So, choose where you will spend eternity. Unfortunately, we can choose the place that Jesus called ‘Paradise’ but we can’t get there on our own.  Just as Jesus said to Nicodemus… “You must be Born-Again” to see the Kingdom of God, we too must do so.

Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
Hebrews 10:22-24 (in Context) Hebrews 10 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and through You Lord Jesus we can be Redeemed as we come with a contrite heart seeking Your Forgiveness, Lord we thank you for our Visitors and we seek Your blessings on us all. Lord we thank You for Your Saving Grace and we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday:   April 6, 2017

Focus:              What is Grace? Why do you need it?  When you get it, there’s always a time limit before it expires.

What a privilege our Lord Jesus gave us all… His Grace is extended to each of us.  So, let us refresh the meaning of Grace… Grace is defined as Grace of Beauty, or Grace of ‘Time’

Grace is mention in the NIV 121 Times and in…

 Isaiah 26: 10

But when grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness;
even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and do not regard the majesty of the Lord.
11 Lord, your hand is lifted high, but they do not see it.
Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame;
let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them.

12 Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us.
13 Lord our God, other lords besides you have ruled over us,
but your name alone do we honor.

The Love of Christ:

Christ who is our Divine and Son of the invisible who was there before Abraham, Moses and everyone, because God said on the First-Day…” Let there be light” and there appeared Yeshua/Jesus and even in the crossing to Canaan, it was Jesus and our Lord had compassion on Moses and Aaron.

Let’s face it… Today we do not have a million Israelites and others surrounding us, we have billions and within these billions we have the same conditions of complaint, scoffing and faithless individuals, we are not judging anyone but this is just the facts of life. So, we say, let us be steadfast, keep the faith and not be deterred by what anyone say, anything they do and whatever befalls us we will be still and know that Jesus is Lord of lord and Kings of kings and though Him He has made us more than ‘Conquerors’ and being made more than conquerors mean that we have Victory in Him.

Key Note: To have Jesus is to have all that we ever will need and in Him all things are possible. And the ‘things’ are not important as He is Preeminent as our Redeemer.   Being Redeemed means that we are taken out of the downward-spiral to a place of Splendor because He is there, so ‘Rejoice’ and to have ‘Joy’ in Him.  Praise our everlasting God as through Jesus we are made righteous to be in God’s presence. Thank You, Jesus Messiah, …

Conclusion:

Ephesians 2:8

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

Read this…       Neighborly love… a Story of compassion in our time of needs…

Go to : www.http://goodnewsforever.org/Neighborly_Love.html

Another moving story of compassion is found in Ruth 2New King James Version (NKJV)

Ruth Meets Boaz

There was a relative of Naomi’s husband, a man of great wealth, of the family of Elimelech. His name was Boaz. So Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, “Please let me go to the field, and glean heads of grain after him in whose sight I may find favor.”

And she said to her, “Go, my daughter.”

Then she left, and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers. And she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.

Now behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said to the reapers, “The Lord be with you!”

And they answered him, “The Lord bless you!”

Then Boaz said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, “Whose young woman is this?”

So the servant who was in charge of the reapers answered and said, “It is the young Moabite woman who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab. And she said, ‘Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves.’ So she came and has continued from morning until now, though she rested a little in the house.”

Then Boaz said to Ruth, “You will listen, my daughter, will you not? Do not go to glean in another field, nor go from here, but stay close by my young women. Let your eyes be on the field which they reap, and go after them. Have I not commanded the young men not to touch you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink from what the young men have drawn.”

10 So she fell on her face, bowed down to the ground, and said to him, “Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?”

11 And Boaz answered and said to her, “It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before. 12 The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.”

13 Then she said, “Let me find favor in your sight, my lord; for you have comforted me, and have spoken kindly to your maidservant, though I am not like one of your maidservants.”

14 Now Boaz said to her at mealtime, “Come here, and eat of the bread, and dip your piece of bread in the vinegar.” So, she sat beside the reapers, and he passed parched grain to her; and she ate and was satisfied, and kept some back. 15 And when she rose up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, “Let her glean even among the sheaves, and do not reproach her. 16 Also let grain from the bundles fall purposely for her; leave it that she may glean, and do not rebuke her.”

17 So she gleaned in the field until evening, and beat out what she had gleaned, and it was about an ephah of barley. 18 Then she took it up and went into the city, and her mother-in-law saw what she had gleaned.

So, she brought out and gave to her what she had kept back after she had been satisfied.

19 And her mother-in-law said to her, “Where have you gleaned today? And where did you work? Blessed be the one who took notice of you.”

Moving forward to Chapter 4…

Descendants of Boaz and Ruth

13 So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife; and when he went in to her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bore a son. 14 Then the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the Lord, who has not left you this day without a close relative; and may his name be famous in Israel! 15 And may he be to you a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age; for your daughter-in-law, who loves you, who is better to you than seven sons, has borne him.” 16 Then Naomi took the child and laid him on her bosom, and became a nurse to him. 17 Also the neighbor women gave him a name, saying, “There is a son born to Naomi.” And they called his name Obed. He is the father of Jesse, the father of David.

18 Now this is the genealogy of Perez: Perez begot Hezron; 19 Hezron begot Ram, and Ram begot Amminadab; 20 Amminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot Salmon; 21 Salmon begot Boaz, and Boaz begot Obed; 22 Obed begot Jesse, and Jesse begot David.

The grand design of the above love-story lead to the linage of Christ…

There were fourteen generations from Abraham to David,  another fourteen from David to the Babylonian exile,  and yet another fourteen from the Babylonian exile to Christ.

Commentary: Notice the highlighted Texts, Ruth saved some of what she had for lunch and took it home to Noami, what an amazing love displayed here. It is no wonder that God chose Ruth to be the month of Obed the father of Jesse the father of David. Ruth’s inherent humbleness was what God saw, the marriage was made in heaven.

Prayer: Father we thank You today in Jesus name. Jesus Messiah, we come and Praise You our Sovereign God in One of our Father our Creator and thank You Lord for Your Divine Redemption. We are privileged to bring the Good News of Your Your Salvation. We go forth today bringing Your Good News to the worldwide web Lord we thank You for this privilege, and we ask Your Divine Blessing to our visitors of this Website and Lord grant Your favors to all. We pray in Your precious name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

So, the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So, he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float. In Context | Full Chapter

In the Bible, the event of the ‘Iron’ Axe made to float is unexplainable.  Many things in our times are also divinely done, and many times the person experiencing the protection from disaster have attributed the outcome by a divine intervention.

Contemporary high profile individuals who experienced the limelight’s of their achievement to be later tarnished by scandalous events, we can surely find that they never acknowledged the Lord’s hand in their lives.

Herod suffered the consequence of not giving God the glory and claimed it for himself…

Acts 12:

Herod’s Violent Death

20 Now Herod had been very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon; but they came to him with one accord, and having made Blastus the king’s personal aide their friend, they asked for peace, because their country was supplied with food by the king’s country.

21 So on a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave an oration to them. 22 And the people kept shouting, “The voice of a god and not of a man!” 23 Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died.

Today we render to our Lord the Glory and thank Him for His Divine Grace…

As we walk by Faith…

2 Corinthians 5:7

For we walk by faith, not by sight. In Context | Full Chapter

Prayer… Heavenly Father as we acknowledge that the cattle on a thousand hills are all owned by You and as we go by Faith, we proclaim that all things are from You and we give You the Glory.  Lord Jesus Your Sovereignty is above all as we declare You to be King of kings and Lord of lords.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your Divine Blessings on us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday:   April 4, 2017

Think on this…  Are we on our own? Is God aware of what we do, and are you aware that He knows you and sees you?

God is Omniscient, Omni-present & Omnipotent… and He is Eternal. Numbers, Time, Equation and  Sequence of events are still mind-baffling to us, even how the Milky way is held together… much less the statement of being absent from the body and be present with the Lord.

Commentary: We said it once, that our Lord knows each of us by our names, but our real name is ‘Sinner’ therefore, Jesus came as a man, died for our sins and through His Triumphant Resurrection we are Redeemed…

Our Lord is never late, and He is never impatient, He is slow to anger… just as he did in the garden of Eden when Adam and Eve went against His command, He was not rushing to kill them, He was patiently coming to Adam, and He said… Adam where are you? (He knew exactly where they were) Adam and Eve were hiding, but when the came to Him, He still loved them, He made them clothing from animal skin, (This was the first demonstration of the shedding of blood to cleanse us from sin)

This is His Priceless Gift from our Lord Jesus, He provided us with a ‘Pardon’ that we could not purchase, not even the governor, not the king or queen or anyone could grant you a pardon for the sentence of death that we all have.

Principle: Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10: 13 NKJV

As we go through this work week… One of the opportunity we have is knowing that you are loved by God, and our Lord Jesus stands at the door and knock. While He can enter without opening the door, but He is calling me to receive Him, and His mission is to bring me Joy, as he said as I stand at the door and know and if I answers, He will come in and dine with me.  What a privilege this would be to sit at a table set by my Lord and to be just like when He sat at dinner with the disciples.
Just think how Jesus would bring me great news of what he has prepared for me and to give me insight of what to come? I can imagine that the table setting would be with delicacies of fruits, nectars, fishes, meat and bread.  I can imagine how He would pray over the setting and thank His Father and then feast with me as He prepared only the best.

Yes, my Jesus is at your door and He came because He wants to give you Peace, Joy, Hope, His Love, His care and His plan for your life.
Today as we gather with friends and families, thank Him and Praise Him for His Graciousness knowing that it is only by His Grace that you are saved and journeying to His Kingdom, where He has prepared a place for you.

Jesus said… ”I am not of this world” what did He mean by this statement? No need to wonder about this.  He ascended to Heaven, but He did not abandon us; He said The Holy Spirit would be with us while He went to His Father. The same Holy Spirit that descended on the day of Pentecost where 5,000 came to Jesus through Peter’s telling them the Good News, this Holy Spirit is with us right now.
Jesus said… “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them”.  Matthew 18: 20.

So when Jesus knocks, open the door and let Him in, His saying is faithful, and all what is stated in Psalm 23 He will do.
Hebrews 3:15
While it is said, “Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked Me.”

John 10:10  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:9-11 (in Context) John 10 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, Ephesians 3:19-21 (in Context) Ephesians 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

2 Peter 1:11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.2 Peter 1:10-12 (in Context) 2 Peter 1 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that 2,014 years ago when You came to earth, You came so that we will have life and have it more abundantly. Lord we thank You for Your Covenant of Grace, and it is by Your Grace that we are saved.  Lord thank You for bringing the Visitors to this site, as we are privileged to serve You and all for Your Glory Lord. Bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Peace as we thank you for Your Favors. Lord today be with us as we look to You knowing that all things work for Good to those that loves You Lord. Devotionals for Monday:  April 3, 2017

Today… it’s another week, is it more of the same? Let the same be good, as we spread His Good News…

Sometimes when you ask someone…how’s it going, the answer is; ‘Same-o, Samo… the same old thing as one has had before or is used to. I'm getting tired of the same ol' same ol'. Why not something different? Do you like the same o' same o'?

If we have the same o everyday then live must be boring.  Can you imagine going fishing on your yacht everyday doing the same thing, trolling for game-fish?  Going shopping on Rodeo drive in Beverly Hills everyday? Or driving your Ferrari around the track everyday?  This high lifestyle could get boring after the 10 day…   For many of those in this category are prone to boredom that leads to a ‘higher’ desire that many times lead to life downturns.

I believe for the first ten consecutive days of doing the above would be exhilarating for many, but human traits will eventually these exciting moments to be done over and over, it becomes ‘Chore’ and then we need a higher level of excitement.  Hopefully some of those having such a lifestyle could find real happiness by helping the needy.

Who is a needy-person? Even the materially rich person described above are among the ‘needy’… So, today as we all go about this week, let us first look at ourselves, then ascertain, do ‘I’ need help or can ‘I’ render help?  So, if you are well-endowed and need very little material things; without Christ, you are still poor and naked in the sight of the Lord.

We all can possess the above material things, but they are just ‘Things’ and if treated as such.  Then, they are nothing more than what we were provided with while we are here. But when treated as luxury items, they become our idol.

A Church building is a necessary place to gather. But when it becomes a ‘Crystal-Cathedral’ it is worshipped rather than being a place of worship.  The Grandeur of God’s Kingdom will be the King of Kings, Jesus-Messiah on His Throne, not the throne. And while it is said that the streets of heaven will be paved with gold, no one will be paying attention to the gold as the center of it all will be our Lord.

Let us gather today by His Proclamation, that coming to the Lord…we come in oneness to Christ…

The Solution is…. Hebrews 7:25
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
Hebrews 7:24-26 (in Context) Hebrews 7 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:

Key note:  We are to add nothing to the Gospel, (No Pre-condition)

  • The Gospel defined in:
  • 2 Corinthians 1: 66

Faith & the Holy Spirit are the Keys and our anchor; see Romans 12

Principles:  Any method of Salvation that departs from Faith is the basis for a perversion or it is no Gospel at all.

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus we come knowing that our Lord & Savior Jesus sits on the Throne of Righteousness and as we come He intercedes for us. Lord we thank You for this day that we are privileged to serve You Lord and to bring Your Good News to all. Lord let our visitors find Grace in You as Your Faithfulness is forever and those that call on You Lord will be Saved. We give You our Praises and we thank You for allowing us to be a Vessel for You Lord. We pray in Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God in One of the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:  April 2,2017

You are invited…  An open invitation, always in good-standing engraved with your name…look inside

Joining the club? Many exclusive clubs will not let you join unless you are invited, but God is inviting us to join Him now. Unlike some exclusive club, you cannot just go and say… “I want to be a member” but you can go to Jesus and say…” I want to become a follower, may I join you Lord” and His answer is yes, come on in and be a Joint-Heir.

FOCUS: The benefits of most Private-clubs are temporary and is just a gathering place with one purpose… to set the members apart from the ‘the non-members’ and the membership status gives many a feeling of being ‘Elite’.  To qualify you must be recommended by one or more members in good-standing, and be approved by a board and then you will be required to pay a substantial initiation fee.

In society, there is the ‘We – They’ class distinction which is at times can be a form of prejudice, a word derived from ‘pre-judging’ others. While Jesus said… “All have sinned and there is none righteous”, he made no class distinction because He said ‘ALL’ and this includes even those that are saved by His Grace as we are still a sinner but saved by His Grace.

TEXT:

Romans 3:22-27, 29 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith.

Devotional:

Lord as I go this day in faith I go with Your Peace a Peace that is above all as Your Peace is a lasting Peace.

Lord You did set is apart as You have said we are chosen and called out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Lord Jesus thank You for our Graciousness and Your Unconditional love, and because You are Holy we make You Preeminent in all. To You Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory, Praise be to You Lord.

Coming to the Lord: Good News -His Faithfulness:

EVENING:

Conclusion:

Text:  Ephesians 2:8-9 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Commentary: Many religious broadcasters preach that have you must have faith… and ‘Faith’ becomes the saving factor.  Why comment on this? Faith is good, but if not knowing that it is the ‘Grace’ of God that saves, not your faith, then the message is lost.

Faith is a belief in something unseen, or having faith that we can receive the power or God’s Divine Gift, which is by the Blood of Jesus.  In God’s schedule, His Grace is the ‘Gap’ between your acceptance of Him as Your Savior and the time when you enter His Kingdom at which time you will be fully sanctified and free from sin forever.

Now His Grace period the ‘Gap’ when you are saved and have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we are still sinners but under Grace, and now that you are saved, Jesus will be your Intercessor, as we now have an advocate with Jesus.  So, as an enlightened sinner now redeemed, we are like a ‘recovering alcoholic’ that lives by each day to remain sober, so we as an enlightened sinner will do the same, but we have the Holy Spirit that is now with us.

By studying His word, we will find that His Word is like a lamp to our pathway that guides us to maintain the straight and narrow pathway leading us to Him.

John 14:6

Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

John 14:5-7 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Acts 4:12

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:11-13 (in Context) Acts 4 (Whole Chapter)

Principle: For where two or three are gathered together in His name, He is in the midst… (Matthew 18: 20)

Prayer: Father in Jesus we come. Lord today as we acknowledge that Your Truth is no longer hidden in Earthen Vessels, we bring You to all and Praise You as we thank You for our Visitors and this privilege of serving You Lord.  Lord bless each of our Visitors and we thank You for Your Favors and we know that all things work for the good to those that loves You Lord. Lord grant us safety as we stand up for You Lord knowing that we will never be ashamed in placing You first, as we pray to You Lord Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Father, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Fact:         Know that The Great “I AM” is God… never let familiarity breeds concept…

Chosen by God the Father...

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6 KJV

It was Thomas one of the disciples asked to see the nail-pierced palm of Jesus.

John 20:25

So, the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

In Context | Full Chapter |

26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Jesus said this… John 3: 5-18 NIV:

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So, it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

“How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.

10 “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man. 14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,

15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Commentary:

The above statement by the Great “I AM” is a resounding Fact, why? Because Jesus who is Yeshua as declared in… Jesus who was at the beginning of it all as noted in:

Colossians 1:15-19 King James Version (KJV)

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell.

Today, as we read the text above said He is the ‘image’ of the invisible God… but to be more precise, we say He is not just an image He is the Living God in One of the Father. While no one except him has ever seen the Father, we proclaim Him as the Power of Light, and not just the 33-year-old Christ that came wearing a sandal and a robe, but to know this Awesome God, read about Him in Ezekiel 1 and in

Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer our Eternal Sovereign God in One of Your Divine Trinity, Lord Jesus thank You for Your Graciousness and for Victory in You as we give You our Praises knowing that You Lord is our Salvation and by Your Grace we are saved. Lord Your Infinite Power and Divine Glory are our shelter in troubled times, Lord let those that are experiencing turbulent times in their lives find You from this mission of Good News Forever; and let the number of visitors grow as we do this for Your Glory and am privileged to serve You Lord. Bringing the good news of Salvation is not because of what you know, but who you know…

The Bible said the ‘fear’ of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom… Loving the Lord is when you begat wisdom.

Jesus is not the third party in our prayer, He is always present, so end by saying ‘In Your holy name Lord Jesus we pray, not the third-party inference as if He is not present, which is not acknowledging g Him Presence. All this is because He said He is ‘always’ present.

Jesus said… “I go to prepare a place, and ‘if’ I go, I will return and get you that where I am you will be also… His caveat of ‘If’ is to rack of us. While He did go, he is not building a place for us unless we are born-again, just as told to Nicodemus. We do not get a place in His kingdom by default.

Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

**********

Good News:   Join the winning Team... Our Lord never lost a battle...  God will always prevail, He will forever be victorious.
God has not yet forgotten us. The Lord Answers Prayers.

Go to the Lord and make your request known to Him.

Introducing a Friend…

Today I will introduce a Friend, and my introduction will be based on His life, His care for me and His unmatched graciousness.

This friend visited earth 2,017 years ago. He came under a very unorthodox auspice of being born without an earthly father, His mother was a Virgin and many wanted to make Him a king.

During His 33 years, He did many things that are still mind-baffling, He also made an astounding claim… He said “I Am not of this world”.  He even claimed that before Abraham was He was…

John 8:58  “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” In Context | Full Chapter |

He declared that He was at the day of Creation with God the Father…

John 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. In Context

Now it is clear who this Friend is? …. Jesus the Messiah!

Jesus in no new kid on the block… He was declared on the first day, when God said…

Genesis 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. In Context | Full Chapter |

The Bible refers to God in the Plural as stated…Genesis 1: 26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Remember the Sun was not yet placed until the fourth day, but Jesus who is the Image of the Invisible God, was there… and Jesus is Sovereign and Preeminent as we read…

John 1:1

The Word Became Flesh] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 1:2  He was with God in the beginning. In Context | Full Chapter |

And Jesus is Sovereign… Colossians 1:16

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. In Context | Full Chapter

So, as we continue to introduce our Messiah, Who said… I no longer call you servants but a Friend…

John 15:15

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter

What a privilege our Lord Jesus has given us all…  Keep looking up, as the Bible said:  This same Jesus will return. Acts 1:11

“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Think on these…

You cannot Test or Tempt the Lord, To say Lord...  ” if you do this for me I will do this for you”  The Lord needs no favors from me, He only wants my Love and Adoration of Him by trusting Him and allowing Him to be the Author and Finisher of my Faith.

Sharing the Gospel…. By Spreading the Good News. The Good News is that Christ died for sinners just like me and you all. And by His Grace we are saved (When we come and repent and accept Him as our Lord and Savior)

Let our Quality-Time’ be spent asking God to place His Divine blessings on ourselves and on others who are seeking Him. So seeking Him should not because of our ‘Want’ but because of our ‘Need’ as He will always provide our ‘Needs’, and He will do this in Abundance as he said Psalm 23:5 He will prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. He will anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. In Context | Full Chapter |

To accomplish the work of God, we must give up relying on my own power...

Principles: Whatever God asks me to do I can only do by His Power

I must realize my powerlessness by:

Step one: place it all in the hands of Jesus…  Step Two: apply His Mission statement in my life by spreading His Good News

As I go through this world keep my eyes on Him…  Always know that Jesus is preeminent and He is Go

Whatever you long for, there is no satisfaction apart from Jesus Christ

Praise is a multi-meaning noun, when used in conjunction with Worship we attain ‘Adoration and Love’ and not just a message of ‘gratitude’.   To say that God wants our Praise, this is not what He wants, He wants our Adoration which is expressed in our love and affirmation of His Grace, His Holiness, His Love and His Divine Redemption; which is founded on His Unconditional Love.

1 John 5:6-8 Living Bible (TLB)

6-8 And we know he is, because God said so with a voice from heaven when Jesus was baptized, and again as he was facing death—yes, not only at his baptism but also as he faced death.* And the Holy Spirit, forever truthful, says it too. So, we have these three witnesses: the voice of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, the voice from heaven at Christ’s baptism, and the voice before he died. * And they all say the same thing: that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. *

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Avoid Worldly Wisdom

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Think on This…He saved because of His Mercies... But to receive His salvation we need to come to Him and ask to be forgiven of our sin and in exchange for our filthy rags He gives us His Seal of Redemption by His blood.

Isaiah 55:1

Invitation to the Thirsty] “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. In Context | Full Chapter |

Thank You Lord Jesus for this day and Lord because of You it is a Good Day.

Lord let me use this day to:

Pray for my brothers and sisters and all so they too will have a Good-Day.

Lord as we know that this Day is made by You and all things are made new in You, let us be reminded that this Good time will continue in spite of the ‘end’-times that we face.

Lord let us use this day to pray for those in need and those who are seeking You to be blessed with You Peace.

We give You preeminence in our lives knowing that we shall see You as You are Jesus Messiah… To You be the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

      Think on these...

  1. His Assurance:  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV….  Thank our lord Jesus for His Spirit of Power, of Love, given us a Sound mind that we can give Him the Glory.

  1. He is Mediator: For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a random for all 1 Timothy 2: 5-6 NKJV …. Thank Him that he intercedes to the Father on our behalf, and He Paid-It-All to Redeem us.

  1. Finding our Lord:  Jeremiah 33: 3… Call on Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.  What a privilege He gave us, we can freely come to our Lord.

  1. Meeting our needs:  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4: 6 NKJV… He is never too busy to receive our requests (notice not just one request, as many as we need) so give thanks our Lord knowing that whatever we ask He will provide meeting all our needs.

  1. Salvation through His Blood: In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace... Ephesians 1: 7 NKJV… We are saved by His Grace and in Faith and not by ourselves, it is a ‘Gift’ of God, not of any works, so we cannot boast. (Ephesians 2: 8)

  1. Christ is Eternal, His Word is forever, His Redemption is for Eternity, and those He saved will never be lost… Romans 8: 38-39… For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present not things to come, not height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord… Rest assured that this is a truthful and faithful saying and we can trust in Jesus for He is on the Throne of Righteousness and he has our back and in Him we have Victory...

              ***

The most profound words ever spoken on earth…

”I am not of this world” Jesus said this, and no one ever repeated these words.   Imagine today this being claimed by someone over the Airwaves broadcasted across the continents? Who can claim this, Only Jesus the Christ, Anointed as the Messiah.  He proved this by…

  1. The sun went dark for three hours while He was on the Cross
  2. The empty grave
  3. His Resurrection, seen by many

The Birth and Crucifixion of Jesus was foretold by Isaiah over 700 years before Jesus came, born of a Virgin in a Manger, Died and Resurrected and Ascended to Heaven.  His promise of His Comforter His Holy-Spirit is also a factual event and to this day his Holy Spirit dwells among us.

His promise is wrapped in the love He bestowed on us and we have Victory in Him…Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever…

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

1 John 5:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

1 John 3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

                   The Assurance from The Lord
....

                  Romans 8:28-39New International Version (NIV)

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[b]

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[c] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Things to consider…

Do not indulge, temptation comes in many form…

Avoid these stages to being drawn into the act are:

Seeing + Lusting + Participating = Sinning

Remember King David did the same thing, He looked, he saw, he lusted and indulged and committed one of the most infamous act of adultery and even murder.

The Lord wants us to be without compromise…

15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot. I will vomit you out of My mouth.   Revelation 3: 15-16 NKJV

The Lord does not want us to be ‘Lukewarm’ and an example of this we can see why He chose Saul on the road to Damascus, why would Jesus choose Saul who was an avid persecutor of Christians?, because He looked at Saul as a person who was not ‘Lukewarm’ but was ‘hot’ to arrest Christian, therefore when Paul was stuck down and chosen to be a ‘Vessel’ for Christ, Saul later known as Paul became one of Jesus’ most formidable messenger to bring the Good News to the Gentiles.

WHO IS JESUS?
(All Scripture texts from  the NIV Bible)

Jesus said…”I am not of this world’, then where is He? He is Omniscient, He is the image of the invisible God, and He Lives.

He is my Redeemer and He is the Great “I AM”

His return will be His 3rd Visit.  He was here before when it all began… God said “Let there be Light” and there was Light and this Light was Jesus.

Jesus/Yeshua came before the Sun was installed on the 4th day.

His 2nd Visit was when He came as God-Emanuel, He fulfilled His Mission of Redeeming us by His Sacrifice.

He gave us His irreversible and irrevocable Gift.

This ‘Priceless’ Gift I accept and this is the Grace of Salvation from our Lord Jesus. By this I can say my Redeemer Lives!

His third and final visit will be on that day known as the ‘Day of The Lord’

Let us all look to that glorious day when the trumpet will sound, and His coming will be seen from the East to the West.

No, our Lord is not ‘too busy’ to return as some say where is He and I have been hearing of Christ’s coming and when will this be?  Our Lord is Gracious and He wants all to be saved, and His time is not ours, so just Trust Him and remain in Faith knowing that he said He will never leave you nor forsake you.  Praise Him come to Him and know that our Lord Jesus is always there for you.

Steps to Victory…

John 16:33 [Full Chapter]

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Accept His Priceless-Gift

John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

  1. Communicate with Jesus
  2. Seek His Divine Guidance
  3. Absorb His messages
  4. Follow His Instructions
  5. Serve Him
  6. Resist the Evil forces
  7. Turn away from things that are not from our Lord
  8. Just say “I will not go there because it offends my Lord”
  9. Yield to the Holy Spirit
  10. Trust the Lord
  11. He will provide a way and a solution
  12. His Way is always the Right-Way
  13. What our Lord is giving you is not a temporary answer
  14. His Answers is Eternal, and it will be with you forever
  15. He will never let me be ashamed in Trusting Him
  16. He will provide all of my Needs according to His Riches
  17. His Riches is not this world, His riches is our Faith in Him
  18. He loves us so much He even Died for me
  19. He provided a Way that I can come to Him
  20. Without His Forgiveness and His Grace I cannot come into His Kingdom
  21. His Redemption is not a ritual, His Redemption is a Sacrifice for my Sins
  22. Without His Blood of Atonement I cannot come to Him, so He has provided a Seal of Life through His Resurrection
  23. The Good News is that He died to save Sinners like me and you
  24. His Good News is; He is willing to forgive me and you, and His Good News is that you will be with Him in a Place He called Paradise, a place that is sanctified without sin and we all shall have His Holy Presence giving us His Joy in a Place of Splendor. Come to Him today.

Tell others of this resourceful site, and also our Chinese and Spanish sites, we hope that our posting will inspire you all... God Bless you all.

To Ignore our Lord is an act of denying Him...

Remember:  Jesus is not the third-party bystander in our Prayers to the Father,  He is our Mediator and without Him no one comes to the Father, therefore we always go to our Father in the Holy Name of our Jesus our Redeemer, It is through His Righteousness that we are able to be presented to the Father.  T

The supremacy of our Lord...

Hebrews 1: 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs. Isaiah 61: 1, 3 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me.... (This refers to Jesus being endowed by The Father to come and be our Redeemer Hebrews 8 and Psalm 45: 6&7 are identical and it affirms The Anointing of Jesus as The Christ; which is Prophecy fulfilled)

Hebrews 6: 1 Verse 3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory,

Hebrews 1: verse 3. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in Heaven.

Hebrews 6: 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. Hebrews 6: 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie.

Touchstone: Jesus also said:
John 16
Jesus spoke of His Ascension into Heaven…  Verse 28: “I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”

Just like when Moses was looking to God in: Exodus 14: 15-16 New International Version (NIV)

15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

Waiting around is not what Jesus did. He was constantly on the move, by age Twelve He was already full of knowledge from His Father. We saw Him in the Synagogue questioning and answering the elders with authority, we saw Him over-turning the tables of the money changers in the Temple, and we saw Him healing many.

Romans 8:37-39 New King James Version (NKJV)

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Today make Jesus Christ the Center of your life

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

If You know HIM you will Love and Serve HIM… by:

Romans 12:1 (NIV)

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

John 14:21 (NIV)

Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

Then live by HIS precept, as told to us in:

Matthew 6:33 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

So today we can know the affirmation of:

  1. Whom we believed
  2. In Whom we place our trust
  3. He is Faithful and Trust Worthy to defend us
  4. Who we can look to for what we need
  5. And HIS Rewards are granted to those that seek HIM FIRST…

And our Heavenly Rewards are far greater that the temporary things that will need replacing as soon as man’s short-term warranty expire so that they can sell you a service contract.

With our Lord there is a Service Contract but there is no Premium, why? Because; HE already paid it in FULL at the Cross by HIS Blood; His blood is the “Atonement” for our sins, it is the Divine Gift of Grace that He granted to each of us.

Grace is like your house payment that is past due, but there is a late fee and if you do not make the payment, it is then declared a delinquent loan, and by ignoring the bank the loan is then foreclosed… with God our life is declared PAID-In-FULL so that we can look to the future by HIS preparation for Life-everlasting….

1 John 3 NIV

1. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!  And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

 2. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

  3. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.

 2 Corinthians 5:21

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God"

Colossians 1: 15-20 New International Version (NIV)

For He said:  All things work together for good to those that love the Lord…

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

You are Complete in Christ” as Jesus Loves You and Paid It All for You to come and know Him, and by knowing Jesus as Lord of lords, all Things are Possible… because in God’s eyes you are ‘Complete in Christ’ even as you are; but God wants to make you “PERFECT” in Him, and You can be perfect this moment by coming to our Savior, and in Faith Pray…
Lord Jesus Christ, I accept in faith that You came and died for my sins and by Your Blood of Atonement offered for me, my Lord I accept You and by Your Grace I am saved knowing that it is only by Your Blood that my sins are washed away, and by Your Grace extended to me that I can look to You my Savior knowing that one day I shall see You and be brought into Your Kingdom where there shall be no more sin no more pain and be filled with the Joy of Your Holy presence my Lord and Savior.  I commit my life and my soul to You my Lord Jesus and expect to spend eternity with You my Lord, I accept Your divine saving Grace now and pray this in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer His holy Spirit will find you and growing in Christ is a daily walk with Jesus…

The Lord is our Shepherd....Psalm 23 New International Version (NIV)

A psalm of David.

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,  he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.  He guides me along the right paths  for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk  through the darkest valley,  I will fear no evil,  for you are with me;  your rod and your staff,  they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me  in the presence of my enemies.  You anoint my head with oil;  my cup overflows.  6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me  all the days of my life,  and I will dwell in the house of the LORD  forever.
 Amen

Jesus said.... "I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."

John 10:9 Jesus, the great I AM, is the entrance into the true church, and the way of access to God himself. .

Starting the day with these precepts from our Lord…

Let’s start the day by Praising our Eternal God, who is Sovereign, knowing that Jesus is the Anointed Son of our Father the Creator who said…

To proclaim Jesus as the SON of GOD:

Our blessed Jesus, as God, is omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent.

Continue to join us each day, and read the Good News. God Bless you all...

T
he TABLE OF GRACE:

“Lord let the Fruits from the work that you have given me Adorn Your Table of Grace…For You my Lord has set a table in front of our enemies and our enemy is also against You Lord, as we give You the Glory; and You said love our enemies”…

Grace: Grace is as tangible as what? Can we see Grace? Yet Grace is defined in the Webster as The Definition of GRACE

a : unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification

b : a virtue coming from God

c : a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace

Paul said in 2nd Corinthians 12: 9  And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses,

Paul was who was chosen by Jesus to be a ‘Vessel’ bearing the Word of Salvation, was also speaking of his personal experience, but speaking in third party instances so that he would not be exalting himself, here is a man that was a persecutor of Christian, a man that witnessed the stoning of Steven to death, now redeemed as a servant of the Most High, speaking as a privileged individual when he made this statement… Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a man was caught up to the third heaven. And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows— was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.  On behalf of such a man I will boast; but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in regard to my weaknesses. For if I do wish to boast I will not be foolish, for I will be speaking the truth; but I refrain from this, so that no one will credit me with more than he sees in me or hears from me.

As we see was Paul taken into Heaven?  Yes, Who God chooses to serve Him, such person will experience His calling…

Prior to Paul’s conversion, we would place Paul in the category of; Those than do not love, they do not know our Lord…

As we read that three days after Paul was struck down by our Lord, he started to preach Christ Crucified, here was a man just days before stood holding the clothes of Steven and watching a man being put to death, but within days was transformed by the Grace of God.

Think on this today...

To SEEK the Kingdom of GOD!...To Walk in Faith, knowing that the Kingdom of God goes forth in TRUTH & POWER

With JESUS on the Throne, knowing that Jesus is in Charge. The Solution is not More Religion, but More of Christ’s

Matthew 6: NIV

Jesus taught us how to pray

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:

   “‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Philippians 4: 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

We need to focus on the positive more and still remember the negative results of sins. Our Lord is saying in HIS Prayer “   “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”… He was telling us while we are here the following will apply:

He (Jesus) is as powerful here on earth as He is in Heaven

He will supply our needs here while we are here on earth

He will protect from evil, by us trusting and knowing Him

As Christians we need to emphasize the following:

The Positive aspects of following our Lord Jesus, as He is Holy

The Joy that He provides by His words of Assurance

The Victory we have in Him

The satisfaction of spreading His Good news to others, as we spread His fragrance we also receive His blessings too.

Matthew 6: NIV

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

We need to be reminded that the Bible said....Our Lord is  a  God of Fire

Hebrews 12:28-29 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”

God made a way for us to escape His wrath, through His Son Jesus who Paid-It-All, and we are assured of this as written in  Romans 8:1-4 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Now that we have proof of the mercy of our Lord, and in Him we can have Victory, let us all come to Him that we can receive His assurance that we are transitioned from condemnation to life. To receive His Assurance place your faith in Jesus, come to the Cross, He is waiting...

Just Pray this prayer... Heavenly Father I come knowing I am a sinner and in You Lord I can trust, I confess  my sins and seek to be Saved by Your Grace as You have provided a way for me to be cleansed by Your Blood. Lord today I turn my life over to You that I can be guided by Your Holy Spirit, Lord come into my heart and make me a new creation from this day forward. Lord Jesus be with me as I now look to You as my Lord and Savior, In Your name Lord Jesus I pray... Amen.
