Be aware…   Keep looking for the Cross it is always visible…

The Cross is offensive to many, and there are many lawsuits in the United States of America to have the Cross removed.

We often wonder why are Atheists offended by the Cross?  If you do not believe there is a God and that Christ died on a Cross, then the symbol of the C ross will be meaningless.  If the ‘Pot of Gold at the end of the Rainbow is a myth. Then no one goes looking for it or even pay attention to the end of the rainbow.

AP01100402476

But the Cross is more than a symbol, it is the center of Christianity. It is the pedestal where the King of kings was Crucified and three days after He Rose from the dead.

The Ground-Zero Iron Cross depicted here is a famous remnant of the devastation suffered in the terrorist attack to the World Trade Center Towers…

The Cross evokes more memories and points to Christ and it is a catalyst bringing many to Christ.

The cross installed on a pedestal at Ground Zero (c. 2003)

On that fateful day of September 11, 2001, the attacks killed 2,996 people, injured over 6,000 others, and caused at least $10 billion in property and infrastructure.

On the day of Crucifixion of our Lord many things occurred, including the Sun going dark for Three Hours. Darkness shrouded the air with such thick density that nothing was visible.  It was a Moment from God letting all mere humans know to be still and know that He is God…

In … 2 Peter 3:10

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. In Context | Full Chapter |

So, realizing that the Word of God will never pass, they are always fulfilled. Therefore, the ‘Day of the Lord’ will be the epic event of all times and it will be the final curtain an epilogue of the world. Yet in the New Kingdom there will be no memorial to this world’s passing, it will be a New Kingdom as described in Revelation 21:

The Crucifixion

Revelation 21:21

The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass. In Context | Full Chapter |

and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. In Context | Full Chapter |

Yes, the event of 9-11 was a shocker to the world, not only the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and an averted charge into possibly the Whitehouse.  But the Day of the Lord will be seen from the east to the west and none will escape unless… Those who are Born-Again, they shall be spared the wrath of God.

We say to be ‘Saved’ and make it so simple, the reality is that Christ came to save us all, and to save us from what?  The Wrath of God, and to make us citizens in His Heavenly Kingdom.

The days of Tribulation will be an endless period… not to be the bearer of ‘bad-news’ but before the Good News one should know the consequence and realize the opportunity offered by our Redeemer.  Jesus is calling and He is ready to forgive you and He also will forget all your past sins.

Heavenly Father we thank You for hearing our prayers through Jesus our Mediator, Lord Jesus thank You for being our Advocate as we give You first place in all.  We thank You Lord for Your Divine Grace and for this ministry that our Visitors and their encouragement of coming to read Your Word. Lord bless each one and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday 2-27-2017

Topic: God is not institutionalized He is Personalized…

How would you like to read your Daily Devotional for a whole month and there was only one mention of Jesus? And the instance of Jesus being mentioned was not even a snippet,

Sometimes we read devotionals published that are mere history journals and not ever mentioning the presence of Jesus. We are not being critical, but we prefer not to be lost in a too sophisticated discourse that ignores the Preeminent of Jesus.

We must remember the prayers of the tax collector… his prayer was short and direct to the point “……….

Luke 18:12-14 New International Version (NIV)

12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ (The Pharisee’s prayer)

13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ (Tax collector’s prayer)

14 “I tell you that this man, (Tax collector) rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

Many theologians write in superfluous style that the message of Christ is ignored. We prefer to be a listener and followers of Christ. It is our quest to ‘To know Christ and to make Him known’

One of the richest man in the world said… his secret to wealth is one principle he learnt early is “Compounding money” and we too can do this by multiplying ourselves by adding at least one person and that person reaching another to make Christ known. The impact of this compounding in a decade will reach a million for Christ

So, today as we reflect on Colossians 1:15-22

The preeminence of Jesus…

Colossians 1:15-22 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—

Know our preeminent Savior today, as Jesus is the Triune-God in One of the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come…. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Word of Comfort & Grace. Lord we come to give You our Praises by Adoration as the Word said the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.  Lord we want to say in lieu of ‘Fear’ we Love You and our Love is because we adore You and give You Preeminence in our lives. We thank You for our Visitors and seek Your Divine blessings on us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:   February 26, 2017

Today’s place of worship will be replaced by a tabernacle…

Are we re-arranging the Deck Chairs on the Titanic? When should we head for the life boats? Best yet get a life-vest and be prepared….

A Church is not a building; it is made up of Believers in Christ, and In Christ alone. The Building is where Christians gather to Worship. As we read in Ephesians 2: 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Text:      James 1:19-27 NIV

Listening and Doing

19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. (The preceding written by James the Brother of Jesus) †

Commentary:

Life’s uncertainties are all around us. Again, one will ask isn’t this website supposed to be a bearer of Good News?  Yes, we are bringing you Good News today.  The Good News is that we are endowed with:

  • We are created in His Likeness
  • Christ died for our Sins
  • He Rose Triumphantly
  • He Ascended into Heaven
  • He Sits on the Throne of Righteousness
  • He is willing to forgive us of our sins
  • If you come to Him and ask for forgiveness, He will give it
  • Jesus Christ is our Mediator and our Sovereign God
  • When we are saved, we receive an Eternal life of Joy in Him
  • He is coming again
  • All those that are still here will be caught up in the air to Him
  • His Kingdom will be fully Sanctified and Sinless
  • We will be reunited with our loved ones

Ephesians 1:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 2: But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Action / Coming to our Lord:

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity; today as we proceed in Faith knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us, we are privileged to be blest by You Lord.  Lord we thank you for our Visitors and meeting our needs and let us receive an abundance that we can share Your favors with others Lord as we give You the Glory, knowing that all good things are from you Lord Jesus.

Lord direct our nation by Your Divine Powers and grant in our leaders the wisdom to lead and for them to Stop and Know that you are God and turn to you Lord. Many are in hunger, Lord supply the needs of those that are suffering and especially the children in this nation and around the world because of man’s inequities and Lord let Your presence be known; so, that we all will know that You are God of all. In Your Precious Name Lord Jesus, we pray… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday:  February 25, 2017

Topic:   You already won… it is not the lotto jackpot that melts away, your victory is permanent

Today we can choose to have victory in Christ or remain enslaved to sin, you may say maybe I will win the lotto today and l don’t need the grace of God, guess what, most people that won the lottery are still poor, a high percentage of lottery winners are financially ruined and spiritually poor.  So, what do I gain by knowing the Lord… John 11:50 nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.”

God said, lay up treasures in Heaven where thief cannot steal it… so what is life, 80, 90 or even a hundred years? Will your retirement funds take you to the end zone? Will your life be just as good then, or better?

Life is full of twist and turns, as we meander this earthly journey, where are we headed? In my lifetime, I met some of the most interesting people, Generals a well-known 4-Star, who was also US-Secretary of a Key government post; some on the Forbes ® list, and those that became Icon of industry, and yes, one that was on the top of the world who became a household name and died a poor fallen business star.  So why is this relevant? Fame and fortune will only be relevant on earth. In Christ, we are VICTORS because of our Lord Jesus who is our God, Benefactor, and Protector and above all a Redeemer who redeemed us from death to Life-everlasting.

Father we thank You in Jesus our Lord and savior, be with us today as we in faith look to You seeking Your guidance, we give You our Praises, to You Lord be the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen

EVENING:

Come to our Lord Jesus and be Victorious in Him… He said…. Ask, and it will be given to you, seek, and you will find, knock, and it will be opened to you (as told by Jesus) Matthew 7: 7 NKJV.

Winston Churchill said…Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.... Winston Churchill

We reflect on the topic that success is not final and failure is not fatal. This profound statement applies to life’s challenges, but when we know the Lord and have accepted Him, in Him our Success is FINAL.

Looking back at quotes from Churchill who was severely challenged during the German’s blitz over Britain…

Here we see a leader that looked at logics and applied knowledge; one would guess he also listened to God and not just men.

Quoting Churchill… Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.... Winston Churchill

All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope... Winston Churchill

Is our freedom challenged?  Yes; in many places, Christians are being persecuted and even killed, thank to our Lord that we have Freedom of Worship in many countries and many are still coming to Jesus.

Action/Coming to our Lord: Ephesians 1:7 NKJV

7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Ephesians 2:8 (NKJV)

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

Prayer: Heavenly Father as we end the day we thank You in Jesus for Your Grace and Your faithfulness. Lord be with us tonight and let Your blessing be upon our Visitors and grant each us Your Favors as it is all to your Glory Lord. We Pray in Your Holy Name and to You lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday:    February 24, 2017

Focus:      Giving to get is a barter, God does not barter, He only ask us to love Him and our neighbors

Thoughts for the Day:    God loves you… and He will surprise you with His rewards

TEXT:  Matthew 17: 3-5 The Transfiguration- And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”

Good News:  God will give us more than we deserve.

Commentary:  Just like when God told Moses that he was not allowed to cross into the Promised Land, Was God denying Moses the reward after Moses spent 40 years leading his people to Canaan? It certainly appeared unfair, but in Matthew we see Moses and Elijah appearing to Jesus at the Transfiguration.  Therefore, Moses was taken directly to Heaven and was not left at Mt. Pisgah.

Our God is not only a God of Love, He is a God with a sense of humor, just think of how God jammed the wheels of the chariots driven by Pharaoh’s soldiers chasing the Israelite crossing the Red Sea…

Exodus 14:25 New International Version (NIV)

25 He jammed the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, “Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.”

Imagine the enormity of Moses ’daily routine, leading a nation on foot, a nation without a country.  Moses had 603,550 armed men for war if all those men were living at the time (Numbers 1:46). These were all able-bodied men from the age of twenty (Numbers 1:45) to the age of retirement at year fifty (Numbers 4:3; John 8:57) or sometimes sixty (Leviticus 27:7). Assuming all the women, children and older people over fifty (or sixty) are included, the number of Israelites who left Egypt would have numbered about two and a half million.

Moses led these ‘stiff-necked’ people for 40 years, a nation on foot going to a country that they were going to inhabit and how wonderful should this be when they get there.  But the good times in the Promised-land were full of travesties and disappointments because of wayward-living.  Again, we see the similarity of God settling humans in a land of ‘Milk & Honey’ and we squandered it all, which is an earlier event of Adam and Eve in the

Garden of Eden.

Are you in your own land of ‘Milk & Honey’ today? Are you focused on the precepts of the Lord?  Have you tried what Jesus said? He said; “Seek Him and His Righteousness first”.

The Lord made a ‘Covenant’ that no weapon formed against my people shall prosper. Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

Isaiah 54:16-17 (in Context) Isaiah 54 (Whole Chapter)

As we go today we have the assurance of our Lord that He not only promised good things for those who loves Him, but He promised to keep you till that day when you shall see Him. Just do as he said…

Matthew 6:33-34

New King James Version (NKJV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

1 Thessalonians 3:13

New International Version (NIV)

13 May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.

Philippians 4:12

New King James Version (NKJV)

12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things, I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Accept His Invitation today; come to our Lord as He is willing to accept you just as you are…

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come Lord knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and through You Lord Jesus we can be Redeemed as we come with a contrite heart seeking Your Forgiveness.   Lord we thank you for Your Saving Grace and our Visitors, Lord bless us all as we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday:  February 23, 2017

Our pledge… I wouldn’t trade for gold… our mission here is priceless because of our visitors led by Grace…

Heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ’

Beyond the Olympic Gold – a Far More Precious Medal ‘Un-earned’ and in fact Priceless.

Text: Romans 8: 14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs —heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Commentary:

What a privilege our Lord has given us, this is far more valuable that all Olympic Gold Medals as the Olympic Gold is worth only $620.70 each. Imagine being CO-HEIR with Jesus?  Yes, and this is already confirmed, not just something we wish for and must earn, it is already given to us, all we have to do is to receive it. There are no Judges, no dispute or can anyone contest it, as it is GIVEN by The Almighty!

The Gift of Salvation is ‘Forever’ and this Gift is in us, as we live forever, His Priceless Gift is not just a ‘Passageway’ to his Kingdom, it is a Gift of us being made a ‘New-Creation’ in His likeness.

We are told to run the Race looking to our Lord and savior as our Author and Finisher of our Faith….

1 Corinthians 9:24
The Need for Self-Discipline] Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
1 Corinthians 9:23-25 (in Context) 1 Corinthians 9 (Whole Chapter)

When Jesus lived on earth for 33 years, He lived a sinless life, He extended His Love and He healed many, but His mission here was to Die on the Cross at Calvary for our sin.  Born of a Virgin, Crucified, rose from death by a Triumphant Resurrection, seen by thousands, and Ascended into Heaven

His Promise:

He made us Co-HEIRS, Heirs to His Kingdom, and His Kingdom is described as …
Revelation 21:18-20 (in Context) Revelation 21 (Whole Chapter)

18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald,20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.

His Faithfulness:

[ Life Through the Spirit ] Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,  Romans 8:1-3 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

Action:

Coming to our Lord:

Conclusion:

Jesus said… “I will never leave you nor forsake you”, but first we HAVE TO KNOW HIM, even though our Lord is omniscient with infinite awareness, He also said, Ask, Seek and Knock, therefore A-S-K must be applied in a relationship with our Lord.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus we thank You that the ‘Finish line’ of the Race that You have set before us is not judged by man, but by You in the Heavenly Realms.  Lord because of Your Grace we are all ‘Winners’ in You Lord.  In Faith, we trust and in Faith we go forward running to the finish line knowing that You Lord Jesus will be there to greet us as we make that turn in Victory, Lord we thank You and give You our Praises knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us Lord. What a privilege that You have given us to come and stand in Your shadow of Truth and to know that the finish line is founded on Truth and Your Unconditional Love. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Think on this… Stay focus but use your peripheral vision… sometimes the treasure is on the side…

Grace brings Freedom through the Holy Spirit-Follow the Spirit

Theme:  GRACE - JOY – HOPE – TRIUMPH

Text:      2 Corinthians 4: 7 NIV

Present Weakness and Resurrection Life

Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

Commentary:

Grace brings Freedom through the Holy Spirit – Follow the Spirit

2nd Corinth. 4: 7 * Jars of Clay Our Treasures are in Jars of Clay, and must be exposed to let others see the Gift of The Holy Spirit.

We wrote about a small boy that found the family Bible which was covered with dust, as he began turning the pages, he said…” Mummy is it true that the Bible is God’s book?” his mommy said yes, it is, he then said “then we better give it back to Him because we never use it”, is this describing our own use of the Bible?  Today we have the Bible online www.biblegateway.org and many version on our smart phones.  One thing for sure the word of God is sharper than any two-edged swords.

2 Corinthians 2:14
But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.
2 Corinthians 2:13-15 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 2 (Whole Chapter)

While the world undergoes the turmoil of economic woes, Europe, China, the USA and everywhere else, we have Hope (mentioned 121 times in the KJV and 159 times in the NIV Bibles.)

  • JOY:       Joy is mentioned 244 times in the Bible, considering the announcement of our Savior’s Birth… Luke 2:10
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
Luke 2:9-11 (in Context) Luke 2 (Whole Chapter)

  • FAITH:   Romans 1:17
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
Romans 1:16-18 (in Context) Romans 1 (Whole Chapter)

  • TRIUMPH:     Revelation 17:14
They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”
Revelation 17:13-15 (in Context) Revelation 17 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise:

2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:7-9 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 9 (Whole Chapter)

His Faithfulness:

1 Timothy 1:14
The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
1 Timothy 1:13-15 (in Context) 1 Timothy 1 (Whole Chapter)

Action:  The Difference of intellectually knowing my Lord or experientially knowing Him… Experience Christ by Living and Learning, Christ must be the Center of my/our Life;

James 2: 14-16

Faith and Deeds

14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord today as we affirm Victory in Your Holy Name, You are Preeminent in all and as You Lord Jesus holds all things together we are privileged to be called Your friend and You have so said.  Lord we are humbled by Your Grace and we thank You for our Visitors as we all go in Faith from victory unto to victory as in You. Lord we thank You and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday:     February 21, 2017

Focus:   The weakest link must be found first… avoiding building on sand, place the right cornerstone first…

Who can we trust? Others? Ourselves? Our Government? “In God We Trust”

Text: John 14:27 New International Version (NIV)

27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Commentary:

The inscription “In God We Trust” is emblazed on our Coins and our Currencies… yet prayers are made at the state level without reference to our Lord.   The Bible states that we cannot come to God our Father without His Son; this is factual as God is Holy and cannot tolerate sin, as we are sinners.  So without the intercession by Jesus to His Father God, we who pray without coming to Jesus and trying to go directly,  we are only reaching the outer chamber and not in the presence of God.

In the Old Testament, God installed men like Moses, Noah, Joshua, Joseph, Abraham, David and many others. Before the Birth of Christ, God’s interaction were direct through His Divine Spirit and when the Bible makes reference that God walked with Adam, Adam was walking with Yeshua-Jesus who was there from the beginning.

As we read in Colossians 1:15-20 NIV

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Notice in Verse 16 In Him (Jesus) all things were CREATED… in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Jesus is the “LINK” that keeps the circle from being broken… Without Jesus we are being drawn by a chain with a weak link. So where is the weakest link?  All that seeks the Power of God without His Son are approaching The Almighty without His ‘Password” it is like being locked out from your Email files because we do not remember the Password.  But Jesus is more than a Password, He is our Redeemer, and God loved us so much that He gave His Only Son Jesus, so that whoever believes in Him (Jesus) should not die but have everlasting life… John 3:16

We must also know that… There is one God and one Mediator between God and men, The Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for us all… 1 Timothy 2: 5-6

When we call on Him (Jesus) we have God’s Power through Jesus… For God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of Power and Love and a Sound Mind... 2 Timothy 1: 7

We have His assurance as stated in Colossians 2: 9-10... For in Him (Jesus) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and we are complete in Him, who is the Head of all Principality and Power.

Conclusion:

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His (Jesus) knowledge in every place.... 2 Corinthians 2: 14 NKJV

Prayer: Lord Jesus today as we come, we thank You for this privilege and we go with Your Peace in faith.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your Divine blessings on us all knowing that all things work together for Good…and Lord You are Good and as You intercedes for us to the Father We Praise You and adore You Lord, knowing You and the Father are One. To You our Triune God of Father Son and Holy Spirit be the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday February 20, 2017

Topic:  Taking so much for granted, surrounded by water, mountains and God’s abundance…

A TREE

There is nothing that compares to a living Tree

  • A creation from God that offers:
  • Beauty
  • Shade
  • Lumber for our housing, our boats and even vessels from which we eat.
  • Fruits
  • Healing

And while doing these, the Tree will clean the Air…

What have we invented?

Air Conditioners, it cools the air but it consumes some resources and emits some pollutants

Automobiles, it moves us around but is generates deadly carbon.

Airplanes, it takes us around the world while emitting Co2 and damages the air-quality

Cruise ships, that leaves a wake and trails of oil residues etc.

So, whenever you see a Tree remember the Cross as it also was made from a Tree, and to know that the Creator was crucified on a Tree that He created.  But He willingly died in our place.

Living in a country with an abundance of water we sometimes forget that there are places in the world without clean water. Our country may be blessed with water and known as the country that waste more food than the rest of the world, yet there are people going to bed hungry.

One may ask how can this be?

:  What is Faith? Something we must believe in…. to some people, they have to see it in black & white to believe. Therefore, people like these should not fly on a loaded 747-400 that weighs 435 Tons, as it should not fly and stay aloft…

Text: He made the Iron Axe Float 2 Kings 6 (NKJV)

The Floating Ax Head

And the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, “See now, the place where we dwell with you is too small for us. Please, let us go to the Jordan, and let every man take a beam from there, and let us make there a place where we may dwell.” So, he answered, “Go.”

Then one said, “Please consent to go with your servants.” And he answered, “I will go.” So he went with them. And when they came to the Jordan, they cut down trees. But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, master! For it was borrowed.”

So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float. Therefore he said, “Pick it up for yourself.” So he reached out his hand and took it.

The good and bad about Faith it is good until it is breached. With our Lord Jesus, our faith can never be breached by Him but only by our finite mind. Faith is a belief in something unseen… but with God it is all seen, look around; everything was made by Him.

Genetic-Engineering is not ‘made’ it is just an enhancement of God’s creation by re-mixing only what God can make.  We have this story, God said start improving what I made, but do not use anything of what I made, get your own Air, Dirt, Water and other elements; do not use anything I have produced, guess what we have produced? Nothing…

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus thank You for coming and as you said that You will return and all of Your Saying Lord are true as we reaffirm that that day will occur as you said so. Lord we are privilege to bring Your Good News to many as we thank You for our Visitors. Lord we give you first-place in our lives and seek Your Divine blessing on us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday February 19, 201

Gathering in the Presence of the Lord, today it is in a building built by human’s hands… In His Kingdom, it is not man-made.

The streets of gold prove this, why? Man, have not found a way to make gold.

As we gather in the presence of the Lord what’s on your mind? Is it monetary, health, relationship, other challenges?

Let come to the Lord with no pre-condition today.  Let us come because of the sole reason that He said ‘Come unto to Me’ and what did He say next? I will give you Rest…

Rest is only achieved when we have a clear mind, even when you are totally exhausted but there’s something on your mind that is troubling you and you will not be restful.

So today let our presence with the Lord be founded on the sole purpose of receiving His Grace.  Grace is undeserved, and when we received that is undeserved, it could be really what we should receive for the intended good thing that any of us do.  Undeserved or rather being ungrateful; is like letting someone out in traffic into your lane only for this person to stop and waiting to get to the next lane blocking you and all behind you.  Yes, this is a common occurrence and we cannot say that all good deeds never go unpunished, because you did the right thing by letting him out.

Our Lord Jesus let us out and guess what? We immediately repeat the offense again. It is only by His Grace that we have His Divine Forbearance.  Forbearance by banks is just a temporary extension giving you additional time to fulfill your obligations.  God’s Forbearance is not an ‘interim’ extension, His Forbearance is a true ‘Forgiving’ of the debt.

Romans 2:4

Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

Romans 3:25

whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

In Context | Full Chapter |

So, today do not make your visit with the Lord a monetary issue, nor any issue of life’s challenges. Because Jesus said, do this…

Ask but acknowledge that the Lord already knows your needs…

Matthew 6:33-34New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Believe that you have received it… Mark 11:24 New King James Version (NKJV)

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord today we thank You for teaching of Your Kingdom and Your warning against the Sin that are weed in our lives, Lord we surrender to You knowing that in You Lord all Goodness originates and Your Grace abounds to those that know You Lord. Lord we affirm today that to know you Lord Jesus is to love You Lord as You loves us unconditionally, but You also warned us about the coming of the angels to separate the wicked from the just. Lord we acknowledge that only by Your Grace we can be saved and we thank you Lord for Your Grace upon us all and for our Visitors.  Lord Jesus we pray in your Holy name and to You is the power and the glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday February 18, 2017

Fact: If earth is a billion years old, so is Jesus, is His return the 2nd or the 3rd time? The 3rd will be a Glorious Day. He speaks only the Truth, as He said  HE will return.

Who is Jesus? He is the ‘Great I am’ and He is God Emanuel… No one ever did what He did for us all.  He is the Redeemer.

He is my Redeemer and He is the Great “I AM”

His return will be His 3rd Visit.  He was here before when it all began… God said “Let there be Light” and there was Light and this Light was Jesus. Jesus/Yeshua came before the Sun was installed on the 4th day.

His 2nd Visit was when He came as God-Emanuel, He fulfilled His Mission of Redeeming us by His Sacrifice.

He gave us His irreversible and irrevocable Gift.

His third and final visit will be on that day known as the ‘Day of The Lord’

Let us all look to that glorious day when the trumpet will sound, and His coming will be seen from the East to the West.

No, our Lord is not ‘too busy’ to return as some say where is He and I have been hearing of Christ’s coming and when will this be?  Our Lord is Gracious and He wants all to be saved, and His time is not ours, so just Trust Him and remain in Faith knowing that he said He will never leave you nor forsake you.  Praise Him come to Him and know that our Lord Jesus is always there for you.

TEXT:  John 16:28

I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

John 16:27-29 (in Context) John 16 (Whole Chapter)

Principle: His ‘Priceless’ Gift I accept and this is the Grace of Salvation from our Lord Jesus. By this I can say my Redeemer Lives!

His Faithfulness- His Graciousness:

We can count on our Lord’s graciousness, and He said He will never leave us nor forsake us.  Finally, we want to remind everyone that it is not Faith that saves us, it is GRACE, and only by His Grace we are saved through Faith in our Lord Jesus.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 2:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)

For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11 KJV Today's passage is from the King James Version.

EVENING:  Action/Coming to our Lord:

Cnclusion:

To know Christ… Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Hebrews 13:5

The Words of Jesus… Luke 17:21 Good News Translation (GNT)

21 No one will say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ because the Kingdom of God is within you.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus as our Mediator we acknowledge that unless we come through You no one comes to the Father. Lord we thank You as we stand in Faith acknowledging Your Grace; and we affirm that it is only by Your Grace that we are saved and not of anything we do. Lord we thank you for Your divine redemption. Devotionals for Friday: February 17, 2017

It seems like Yesterday, yet is was 76 years ago, another event 1,984 years ago, still being remembered…

Seventy six years ago, world war… 15th February, 1942: The Japanese experienced a major victory in the Pacific as Singapore Surrenders. Japanese had captured Singapore troops and caused them to surrender; and Pearl Harbor was bombed by the Japanese.

The price of a new car seventy-six years ago, was $700. University Tuition including housing was around $1,200 now the annual cost for Tuition and housing, books etc., is $69,000.

The year 0033 which was 1,984 years ago, Christ was Crucified and on the third day rose from the grave, and 40 days thereafter Ascended into Heaven.  The event of Jesus’ Crucifixion and Resurrection changed the world, but the final change will be on the ‘Day of the Lord’.

While Annual Tuition is running @ $69,000,000 per year, yet on the day when we are re-settled in God’s Kingdom, the cost of everything will be free.

He knows our thoughts, the very hair on your head are numbered. He is ready to bless you

TEXT:  Romans 1:16 Good News Translation (GNT)

The Power of the Gospel

16 I have complete confidence in the gospel; it is God's power to save all who believe, first the Jews and also the Gentiles.

Good News: Our Redeemer Lives! …

Commentary:  In business we had a slogan…” If all it took was Money, anyone could do it”; the same applies to the ‘Abundant-Life’ described by our Lord.  Money cannot buy His Kingdom…

Just like the vine that starts from a small root, but stretches over a long distance, a river starts as a trickle growing to a roaring river like the sound of a mini Niagara Falls.

When our Lord Jesus said, He is the Vine and we are the branches, he was saying if we abide in Him we can be like this river that flows on, and we can be ‘roaring-rapids’ but without Him we are nothing… just like a ‘dry-pond’

If we choose to be with Him and He considers us to be a branch of His Vine, He can release exponent growth that will shoot like the most bountiful grape vineyard bearing fruits that many will attracted to, which is His fragrance to be tasted so many may know Him.

Action:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name, I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus we thank you for the privilege of bringing Your Good News to all and we thank you for our Visitors.  We give You first Place in all and we dedicate to You our endeavors as we go in Faith. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday February 16, 2017

Consider this…Jesus knew who His friends were
He is still calling us His friends.

Are you a friend of the Lord? What are the conditions that you place in qualifying a person to be a friend? Friendship is defined as…

“A man is known by the company he keeps” and, “Tell me the company you keep and I’ll tell you who you are.”

The idiom above does not apply to Jesus as He had Tax-Collectors as His friends.  True friendship is knowing the need of each other, sharing the good times, giving and not receiving.

Loyalty cannot be purchased, because once you stop paying the loyalty ends.  A friend is defined as one that will share the results of a failure and not look to partake in your success but enjoy seeing you in victory.

A dog will bury his most treasured item, a big bone.  Dogs will ‘age’ his bone for a few days then enjoys chopping on it.  So, to be a good friend of a dog, he may consider burying you; not really, as he is considered man’s best friend, and their loyalty goes to extremes.

Job’s friends rebuked him rather than render sympathy they looked down upon Job, but…

Job 42:10 After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus said… John 15:13

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

John 15:14

John 15:15

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

A Stories About Friendship…

One day a lion was sleeping in his den. A mouse was also playing nearby. By chance Ole mouse ran over the lion. This made the lion wake up. The lion caught the mouse. He was ready to kill it.

‘Please do not kill me,’ said the mouse. ‘I am a tiny creature. Please save me.’

The lion felt pity for the mouse. He smiled and let the mouse go.

A few days after the lion was walking in a jungle. He found himself caught in a hunter’s net. He roared and rolled to get out of the net. But he failed.

The mouse heard the roar. It at once ran to the lion and said, ‘Please don’t roar. I’ll on set you free.’

It cut through the net and set the lion free.

Conclusion: Grace brings Freedom through the Holy Spirit – Follow the Spirit

2nd Corinth. 4: 7 * Jars of Clay Our Treasures are in Jars of Clay, and must be exposed to let others see the Gift of The Holy Spirit.

In today’s hustle & bustle it is hard to stop and reflect on the Grace that we have from our Lord.  Grace is defined as ‘UN-Merited’; while we face the challenges of this world, our Lord God in His infinite power sent His Son Jesus to redeem us…. 2 Corinthians 8: 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Redeemer we come in Your Holy presence. we lift You up before all. Thank You Lord for opening the doors to bring hundreds of people to visit this site each day; Lord we are privileged to be Your messenger and we thank You for our Visitors and Your blessings. Lord Jesus open the minds and grant us wisdom and let our readers grasp the Good News of Your Salvation. Lord as we bring Your message to many let the substance of what we present be from You our Lord. We pray in Your Holy name and give You the Glory and the Power now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday: February 15, 2017

Think on this…There will be no Mini-Storage in Heaven.  Your life will be uncluttered living in Splendor. Also… Jesus is not the third-party in our prayers, He is the Party of the First Part.

In an agreement, it starts out by defining the Parties,  such as … The agreement would read " John Smith” (hereinafter called The Party of the First Part). So, when we go to the Father, we must address Jesus as He is the Party of the First Part of bringing us to the Father.

We are the party of the ‘Second’ Part. And as always, we should end by addressing the Lord by saying ‘In Your Holy Name we pray” not the third-party inference of “In Jesus name we pray” as if He was not already in the Prayer. If He is not in the Prayer, then are we reaching the Father?  While Jesus said He and the Father are One, but He also said no one comes to the Father except through Him.

Today’s contemporary living is a clutter-free environment. But some of us like to store memorabilia and things we have gathered over the years.  Our mind is like a storage area, like the attics in the houses where we place that old lamp that no longer works or is outdated.  The attic is where we can find stuffs that we keep what we believe we may need in the future. But they turn out to be either junk or eventually fit for a garage sale.

Our mind is our personal mini-storage and we clutter our brains with things that we like to think about, and some that we prefer not to think about but it remain in storage.

Declutter the mind by…

Writing down the things that you keep thinking of.
Place the things that you should do in an order of priority.

Stop thinking on the list, make a time to work through the list and check off the accomplished items.

Make a mental decision by saying ”I prefer to spend quality time rather than working overtime on what is already in the hopper”

Dedicate time to read inspirational subjects, many say that they are studying the Word, but reading the Bible is not studying, it is best when we immerse ourselves into what we are reading, can you imagine being in the march around the wall of Jericho? It must be a great feeling of triumph when it came tumbling down.

Today, let us live in triumph… 2 Corinthians 2:14

But thanks, be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. In Context | Full Chapter |

Do this and your mind will be uncluttered, make Jesus Preeminent in all of what we think or do.  Because when you give Him first place, it is like what I read in one of Billy Graham’s sermon, a little girl said…” when the devil comes to the door, she sends Jesus to answer it” So, ask Jesus to send His Holy Spirit to guard your front and rear doors.

Find the Joy of our Lord today, Joy is from Him, happiness is from the things that lose it enjoyment and then stored in the attic. Joy is from ‘Rejoice’ so Rejoice in the Lord today and have His Eternal Peace.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. In Context | Full Chapter |

Praise Him as He is forever faithful…

Lord Jesus we come in Your Holy Presence and we thank you for the privilege of having this mission for Your Glory.  Lord bless our Visitors and give us Your Peace. We thank You and give You the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday: February
 14, 2017

Focus:
What have you done for someone recently,or what have someone
done for you lately? Doing with no condition…

These are the statistics for Valentine’s day…

  1. Average annual Valentine’s Day spending                                                     $13,290,000,000
  2. Number of Valentine’s Day cards exchanged annually                                180 Million
  3. Average number of roses produced for Valentine’s Day                             198,000,000
  4. Percent of Valentine’s Day cards bought by women                                   85 %
  5. Percent of all flowers purchased by men                                                       73 %
  6. Percent of women who send themselves flowers on Valentine’s Day              14 %
  7. Amount the average consumer spends on Valentine’s Day                        $116.21
  8. Percent of consumers who celebrate Valentine’s Day                                61.8 %
  9. Percent of women who would end their relationship if they didn’t

get something for Valentine’s day.                                                                  53 %

The statistic above (No. 9) the survey showed that 53% of women would end their relationship if they didn’t receive a Valentine’s gift.  Hopefully this is not 53% of those that are married. If this was so, then it would only take approximately 5 years to have 100% of the wives divorced.

As we look at the importance of Valentine’s day, and the consequence of missing it, it is not the ‘Material’ gift, it is the importance of relationship being memorialized. However, the drastic action of ending the relationship if Valentine’s day is missed reflects a total insecure state of mind for someone taking this to the extreme.  Why? the relationship should be in such good standing that the absence of a bouquet of roses or a box of chocolate should not damage the relationship to the extent of a break-off.  If this is so, then there was no sustainable relationship in the first place.

With Jesus, He doesn’t need a box of candy, or a bouquet of roses, if fact; our action at times do warrant having a ‘Break-off’ by the Lord. But His love goes beyond our faults, as He overlooked our faults and knows our needs.

Think on this…

Our faults were not made by our Creator… We are created by God, so why do we have faults?  Because God trusted us and made us with free will.  We may ask the question then why did He allow the serpent (the devil) to have tempted Eve?  God wanted us to choose on our own as He did not create us to be slaves, so He gave us a mind of ‘Free-will’.

Genesis 2:16-17New International Version (NIV)

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

Just like the Garden of Eden, the new restored Eden which is His Kingdom (Heaven) The Kingdom will not be ‘Ruled’ because God wants us to know Him, love and adore him as He loves us.  If you have to whip your dog to be subordinate to you this is a case where the animal doesn’t love you. But if the dog greets you wagging his tail and expressing his love for you, then this is the free-will of the Dog. But God created us far above the animals, He created us in His likeness.

So, the choice made by our fore-parents resulted in us being blemished, but we have a loving God who sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us and by His Blood we are Sanctified. Sanctification is to make ‘Holy’.

John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

John 16:33 [Full Chapter] (The saying from Jesus)

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

TEXT: 1 John 1:10New International Version (NIV)

10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

2 Corinthians 2:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Lord we thank You for our Visitors, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday February 13, 2017

Think on this… Who is a Friend? Someone who patronize you? Someone who cares? Or someone sees you as you are…

In this world, we have categories of ‘Friends’ some are ‘Fair-weather’ friends, some people comes as a friend but the relationship is superficial and some are true friends.  A friend is defined as one that knows you. Your faults and yet stays in close contact.

A Police dog named Belk refused to leave his human partner's side after fatal head-on car accident

•            Lt Eric Eslary was killed Tuesday morning in a wrong-way driving crash in Ligonier, Pennsylvania

•            K-9 partner Belk guarded his dying owner even as paramedics showed up on the scene

•            It was only when Eslary's wife showed up at the scene that the German shepherd could be pried away,

It has been said…if you want a friend get a dog.  We disagree as Jesus said we are no longer servants, but friends.

John 15:15

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

Here is a real enemy… Therefore we are to be vigilant and watch for the devil as this evil forces comes in all form and is dressed as the angel of light, he is masquerading as a good person…. Then who can we trust? Trust in the Lord, ask His guidance and seek Him first.

1 Peter 5:8
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:7-9 (in Context) 1 Peter 5 (Whole Chapter)

His Faithfulness:

The Faithfulness of our Lord still remains… While we are not sons or daughters of any king, we are made ‘Joint-HEIRS’ in Christ.

Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Romans 8:16-18 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Come to the Lord… Jesus is calling, the amazing thing that will happen when His invitation is received, and coming to Him He said… But as many as received Him, to them He gave  the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name… John 1:12 NKJV

And when we are in Christ, we are saved and free of condemnation…

Romans 8:1
[Life Through the Spirit] Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
Romans 8:1-3 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:

Many of us in the daily routine of life’s demand will say I have time enough to come to Christ, I know of this and it is available to me when I am ready… But we can never be too sure that there will be time enough to come when we are good and ready.  The events of live can change in the blink of an eye.  The time needs to reach out to our Lord and savior is instantaneous, we do not have to make an appointment, wait for the computer to startup, we do not have to search for an address, we can come to Him just like the thief on the Cross, all he said.. ” Remember me Lord when you are in your Kingdom” just  say Lord I am a Sinner, save me, I repent of my sins and seek to make You Lord of my Life, In Your name Lord Jesus I pray.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven in Jesus our Redeemer we come. Lord Jesus today we acknowledge Your Sovereignty and in Faith Lord we go forward with Your command to take the Gospel to the ends of the world.  Lord You have endowed us with Your Grace, You have showered us with Your Unconditional Love and made us rulers over Your Creation. Lord, we seek to be anchored by Your Grace and we acknowledge Your Priceless Gift of Redemption. Lord, Today we seek Your Blessings on us all and for our Visitors. Grant us all Your Peace and Your Favors. In Your Name we Pray Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday: February 12, 2017

Focus:  Never holdback… You can never out give the Lord, His portion to you is a double portion.

As we discuss giving, we are saying never to holdback, as what we give really is from the Lord….

When Mary anointed Christ, she gave her entire fortune, as the cost of the perfume was worth a year’s wages.

John 12: 6-13

Jesus Anointed at Bethany

While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.

When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked. “This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.”

10 Aware of this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 11 The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me. 12 When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.13 Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

As we read that the perfume was worth a year’s wages…

John 12

“Why wasn’t this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year’s wages.

We are not saying you are to give a year’s wages in the offering today, but what Mary did for Jesus was not intended to a gift in trade, in other words, many preachers tell their congregation to give as the giving is ‘sowing a seed’ and that the seed will return an abundance to the giver.   This is what we said yesterday, this type of giving is really an intent to ‘negotiate’ with the Lord.

Mary had no ulterior motive of receiving an abundance on her gift, she did this knowing that Jesus was her Lord.  So, today we say give to the Lord the First-Fruit and let your gift be like the widow’s mite.  This is the poor widow that gave the last of her two coins, to which Jesus said her small mite was worth more than the rich givers.

Jesus is the Giver of everything, Life, health, wealth, and above all His Divine Salvation, and while we receive these He also is giving each of us a ‘Double-Portion’ which is His Eternal Pardon that placed our names in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

So today come to Christ and give Him your ultimate Gift… the Gift of Yourself as He will transform you and make you a new Creation in Him.

We praise our Lord this day as we come to You lord Jesus knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us.  Lord we bring you ourselves as we seek to be a Vessel for You Lord. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your Divine Grace and Your Providence as we go in Faith.  Thank You Lord Jesus, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday: February 11, 2017

Fact:       You are ‘called, not re-called, because God made you perfect, but we became defective

1 John 3:1

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. In Context | Full Chapter |

1 John 4:19

We love because he first loved us. In Context | Full Chapter |

The difference of having Pity towards someone, versus, Adoration, compassion by loving, you can give to a cause but if you do not love the person or the cause, then you are nothing.

Giving to get is not really ‘giving’ it is a form of an intended ‘exchange’

We can give compassion to a dying person and truly extend the love of Christ and pray that the Holy Spirit will be with that person, this is real love as the dying person will not have anything to exchange for your gracious gift of God’s peace.

The Bible said… If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 NIV

This Sunday when you give make it a true gift and not an intended ‘Exchange’ God wants a ‘cheerful giver, not a somber ‘seeker’… So, cheer-up and know that you are called today to bring your ‘first-fruit’ to God as He is the head, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, and His end is endless because He is Eternal.

Now, being made perfect but becoming defective, you may say we are being insolent by saying you and us are being defective.  Consider these parameters:

  1. First if we were ‘Perfect’ then Christ would not have to come and die for our defectiveness as we were already perfect.

  1. If we are already perfect, then we make our Lord a liar, as He said all have sinned and fall short of God’s Glory.

  1. If you or us can get to heaven on our own, then I, the writer prefers not to go, why? Because all who got there will be bragging of how they did this and did that and how all their good deeds got them there. Life will be miserable listening to these bragging stories.  So, those that die with the most toys do not believe that these trinkets will get you into God’s Kingdom.  There’s only one way…

1 John 4:9

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. In Context | Full Chapter |

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. In Context | Full Chapter

Today as we read about Christ’s Redemption, and His Redemptive-Power is still alive and He can redeem you.  Come to the Lord today and receive His Peace…

Go to Him now as he said…” Now is the accepted time”

2 Corinthians 6:2

For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. In Context | Full Chapter |

John 14:27  (Jesus said this…)

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. In Context | Full Chapter

Today, we are privileged to present Jesus our Lord and Savior… so, we invite you all to know Him.

While we expound the Love of God, we also want to say that His Saving Grace is available for each of us, and what will He be saving us from? His Wrath, because this same Loving God is also a God of a Consuming-Fire…

Hebrews 12:28-29 New International Version (NIV)

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus today as we end the week we thank You for Your Providence and Your guidance.  Lord as we place all in Your hands we seek Your Divine blessings on our Visitors and Praise You for Your Graciousness.  To You Lord Jesus be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday:              February 10, 2017

Focus: You will never be passed-over, He sees you and there’s a place for you in God’s plan…

The U.S. Government uses a Merit system to determine competence for job promotions.  The system works good but when the element of cronyism is deployed the person getting the promotion will moved up while the real person of merit is passed over.

While we do not look down on friendship among us, we will take an example from David’s friendship with Jonathan, the son of King Saul. Saul who sought to kill David because of jealousy od David’s conquest.  David deployed the principle of merit.  He forged a good friendship with Jonathan who himself was a warrior and defeated the philistines.  But when God rejected Saul, David was chosen to be king.

Here we see the ‘Merit’ recognition of David who conquered the philistines by slaying goliath the giant.

David was not passed-over he was chosen to be king… we see the Spirit of the Lord being taken away from Saul who sought to kill David.  The Lord rejected Saul after he disobeyed the Lord’s instruction against Amalekites. The Lord did not ‘Passed-him over’ for David, but mocking the Lord is something that no one gets away with.

Samuel anointed David and made him King… Because of Saul’s sin he was deposed as king.  David was pursued by Saul who wanted to kill David, but in his quest to kill David, he fell into David’s snare and twice David could have killed Saul but David spared Saul’s life.   The tragic end of a sovereign reign for Saul ended by taking his own life.

Today, as we look at what occurred with Saul, he grew arrogant, he relied on his own self and went against God’s order.  This brings us to the Verse of the day…

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In Context | Full Chapter |

Just think we are NOT redeemed by Silver or Gold, but by the Blood of Christ, He gave us a pedigree that is so high it cannot be bred, bought or created by any genetic engineering. Only by His Blood of Atonement we are ‘Sealed’ with Life-Everlasting to be in His Kingdom.

Action/Coming to our Lord:  Come to our Lord Jesus and experience His Un-Conditional Love and invite Jesus into your heart and you will be saved.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus you said no one come to the Father unless through You Lord.  Lord we affirm Your Sovereignty Lord Jesus as all things were made by You and for You and without You Lord there is nothing made. Lord as we end this day we place all in Your Holy hands and seek Your blessing as we look to a new dawn to be renewed in your Holy Spirit. Lord bless our Visitors and provide to all our needs as in You Jesus all things are possible. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday: February 9, 2017

Focus:  Only the best for you and you are worth it.  Jesus said this, and it is the truth…

Commentary:

Our Lord needs nothing from us, except our Love and in exchange for this He offered Ever-Lasting Life.  What a ‘Gift’

Our Lord is a loving God, but He is also a God of a Consuming Fire…  We need to know this; and because He loves us, He wants only the best for us… What is the best? His Grace and His Love, so why is the Bible saying that the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom?  Because to not fear Him and to continue to sin, we are mocking our Lord.  How would you like to be told by someone that you are a good and reliable person, and behind your back this person slanders you and tells everyone the opposite and say that you are no good and you are not trustworthy?  The person slandering you probably do not fear you nor really loves you, as this ‘friend’ would not be really a friend indeed, rather he is your enemy.

Our Lord wants a ‘Sincere relationship, and sincerity is achieved only by a true relationship without any infidelity or action that will blemish the relationship, in other word let’s not attempt to Mock God, as He said, He will not be mocked… as Vengeance is His.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

  1. Factually our Lord is not asking for your love because of fear of Him. He said “If we love Him keep His commandments” Just like when He came, He came as a Man and not as a King or as God Incarnate, The angel did make known… Matthew 1: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”
  2.  1 John 3:22
and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
1 John 3:21-23 (in Context) 1 John 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  3. 1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. 1 John 5:2-4 (in Context) 1 John 5 (Whole Chapter)

As we cope with the daily things in our lives, some are challenging and some are pleasant to experience.  Despite what we see around us, the growing rate of scoffers, substance abusers, crime and even human-trafficking, these will end on that fateful day, ‘The Day of the Lord’ but through Jesus our Lord we have Victory and He has provided a way for those who trust in Him, know Him and by accepting Him as our Savior, He has laid a way for the Best is yet to come.

Just to consider is what we see, own or being a part of being the only things we had to look forward to, what would our future be like? The richest man on earth that possesses all of what he needs and beyond, mansions, beach houses, Jet, Yacht, even a private island, what do you think a person like this is thinking of? One could say his mortality, would be the top concerns, as life is but a vapor…

Why do we talk about the future and beyond?  History should be a measure of the future, you may be a teenager, a millennial, a senior or even an octogenarian, or even the purchaser of the oldest car, this person purchased a piece of history. But we cannot purchase a piece of the ‘Future’. Why, because all man-made items will become history, and God’s Future is Eternal.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- A steam-powered car, billed as the oldest car in the world that still runs, was sold at a Hershey, Pa. auction late Friday for $4.6 million.

The auction company, RM Auctions, had estimated that the car would sell for about half that much. It represents the highest price ever paid for an early automobile at auction.

So, today we come to our Lord knowing that only the Future that he offers is worthy of being owned. He had endowed this to each of us….

Text: Hebrews 13:5 (New International Version, ©2010)

5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Philippians 4: 6: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4: 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4: 19 & 20 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer… Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus we thank You for the privilege of serving and for our Visitors, as we seek Your Divine Providence upon us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday: February 8th, 2017

Focus: Come and buy without money… all you will ever need are here for ‘Free’

Isaiah 55:1An Invitation to Abundant Life ] “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary:  As someone said…"Life is too short to be busy." (Tim Kreider) and we are saying… Life without Christ by being busy in this world will cause you to miss the stairway to His Kingdom… Jesus is there pointing the way.  Find Him and follow Him.

To qualify for special financing the source of your down payment must be monies that you own, or from a source that you can claim as a gift. It cannot be ‘Borrowed’ money. This criterion plus the disclosure of your debt owed must be declared and if you incur more debt while the application is in processing, then you will not qualify.  One may say that this is a tough set of rules, but if you are asking for special financing from a public source, you must comply and it is somewhat relevant that you ‘Prove’ your ability to make the monthly payments.

In God’s equation, you do not have to ‘prove’ anything, because God already knows you and your obligations, you are an ‘open-book’ in the sight of God. Just like when Jesus said to Nathanial… “I saw you under the fig tree”

John 1:50 Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” In Context | Full Chapter

We cannot ‘prove’ anything to God… because Jesus came to die for sinners, and this include us all, we cannot prove our righteousness, as all out righteousness are like a ‘filthy-rag’ If we could get to heaven without the Redemption of the Atoning Blood of Christ, then Jesus died in vain.   Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” In Context | Full Chapter |

We cannot make our Lord a Liar, because the Bible said:  Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

In Context | Full Chapter  this means that we are all sinners and are all condemned to a second death… But Jesus came that we may have His Redemption by dying in our place.

Ephesians 1:7 [Full Chapter]

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Romans 3:24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, In Context | Full Chapter |

Ephesians 1:14 In Context | Full Chapter |

(Jesus) who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. In Context | Full Chapter |

Principles:

  1. Do not give permission to the evil one. Did you know the devil cannot use you unless you grant your permission to allow him?
  2. Why the devil does want your soul? Because you are worth a lot to Jesus
  3. The Power of Prayer... Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said…

John 14:3
And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

His Warning: Be aware of Jesus’ statement, He said ‘If”; why? Because while He was going, He would only build a place for those that are in Faith and the unbelievers would not be an heir to His Kingdom. (Therefore, His Kingdom cannot be claimed by an Atheist) Many of us read this and presumed that Jesus’ statement of Him going meant that ‘everyone’ would receive a ‘place’, there is no entitlement by default, and Jesus statement of “IF” was very specific to believers in Faith.

Only He (our Lord) knows the future…James 4: 14

Text:       James 4:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

Prayer:

Gracious God our Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus because You are Holy and by Your Redemption we were redeemed by Your Grace, Lord by Your Sacrifice at Calvary we can come boldly to You Lord; as You said come and You will give us Rest. Lord today as we go forward in Faith, equip us and enable us by Your Holy Spirit and lead us to Green Pastures and Still Water of Life. We seek You Lord and Praise You for Your Unconditional Love and Thank You for Your Graciousness. In Your Holy Name, we pray Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. In Context | Full Chapter |

So, today move to a higher stratum, take the High-Road and enjoy the beauty and wonders of God’s Creation surrounding you and give thanks for His Graciousness, as we say to God be the Glory as His Grace is sufficient.

Job 19: 25 – 26

For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth;
26 And after my skin is destroyed, this I know,
That in my flesh I shall see God.

Coming to the Lord…

The theme today is: a) Surrender, b) Believe, c) Be still and know that He is God…

Just as one must believe the instruments and surrender to the fact that the readings are correct and be still knowing that the instruments are showing you your true position.

We all have experiencing going in the wrong direction, think you are headed south but you are in fact headed north. Without a compass, it would be hopeless on the open seas, God did place the stars above that has been guiding mariners for centuries, and our Lord Jesus has been doing the same for centuries.  Centuries? But He was born just 2,017 years ago, Jesus said before Abraham was He was the ‘I AM’. So, coming to Christ you are not coming to some new kid on the block, He was there on the first day of creation…

Devotional:

Coming to the Lord

Lord today we come knowing that You are not our ‘Co-Pilot’ but You Lord Jesus is the Pilot that of our lives.  Lord today as we look at the ‘reading’ of the times, we remain steadfast that only in You we have the Abundant-Life that You provided. Lord today we thank You for our Visitors and praise You and give You preeminence in all knowing that before Abraham, Lord Jesus You were there as the great “I AM”.   Lord let there be many that will surrender and know that You are God in One of The Father through His Holy Trinity. Lord open our minds and let us be receptive to Your Word as we go with Your Peace… To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Fact:     Did you know you came with a Lifetime Warranty?  Register it today…

The ‘Lifetime’ warranty issued on a product that you purchased covers the period of your lifetime or the product’s lifetime.  We believe it is the owner’s lifetime. Or more the lifetime of the manufacturer.  Try redeeming the ‘Lifetime’ warranty on any product after 10 years, it will be one of two results, the manufacturer no longer is in business, or there is a ‘Pre-rated’ scale that charges a per-year fee and to get the new replacement is like purchasing a new item. These are the hidden clauses in man’s warranty program.

With God, you are ‘Unconditionally’ covered under a ‘Full-Replacement Guaranty Assurance” plan. Because you have been ‘Redeemed’ and fully covered by His Eternal Grace.

Man’s Lifetime Warranty that will still runs out. But God’s Assurance will never end, it is forever!

He came so we may have Life and have it more abundantly

Text:  2 Corinthians 8:9 New King James Version (NKJV) 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

Commentary:

Jesus our Lord and Savior came to reconcile us to the Father our Creator, but before we can come to the Father we had to be cleansed by His Blood.  Soldiers returning from the frontline of battle were usually covered with blood sustained in battle, before going in front of the King they had to be cleaned up and made presentable. Mankind is in this state with stains from our sins. Therefore, God will not see us in our sin filled state. Thus, Jesus came to Redeem us, ‘Redeem’ means we were lost in Sin, and by the Redemption through Jesus we who have accepted His Redemption can now come into the presence of God through Jesus.

The ‘SEAL’ of Assurance from our Lord is Unconditional and it is perpetual for infinity…What is our Savior providing?  He made a way for His ‘Seal’ paid for by His Blood that was shed at Calvary for us, and this is His Deposit for a ‘More’ Abundant Life.  Just as Jesus said… He came that we may have life and have it ‘more’ abundantly.

TEXT: John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context | Full Chapter |

TEXT: John 12:24

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. John 12:23-25 (in Context) John 12 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

1 Corinthians 15:36

Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. 1 Corinthians 15:35-37 (in Context) 1 Corinthians 15 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary: The Egyptians placed grains in the hands of their mummies; as told by Jesus…  Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

So, we see that the grains in the hands of the mummy remained alone and never reproduces.

When Jesus said…  “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain”; Jesus was using this as a metaphor of His Crucifixion declaring His Triumphant Resurrection… His reference to…” If it dies, it produces much grain was a declaration of His Saving Grace through His Blood of Atonement.  We who are washed in His Blood through His Holy Spirit, His blood is a SEAL applied on each of us as a ‘Deposit’ paid by our Lord. We are bought at a price, a price so astounding it’s Priceless but He gives it ‘Free’ and He is ready to place this ‘Deposit’ on you making you eligible to be with Him in His Kingdom. A place Jesus called ‘Paradise’

The Lord will separate the wheat from the chaff… what are we Grains or Chaff?  Today let us be Seeds worthy of our Savior’s Showers of Blessing.   His mercies endure forever upon His people.

Key Factor:  There is nothing better than to know that you can say…” I AM A CHILD OF THE MOST-HIGH”

Prayer:

Father we thank You today in Jesus name. Jesus Messiah, we come and Praise You our Sovereign God in One of our Father our Creator and thank you Lord for Your Divine Redemption. Lord just as Jonah relented and was directed to render to the Ninevites Your Salvation. We go forth today bringing Your Good News to the worldwide web Lord we thank You for this privilege, and we ask Your Divine Blessing to our visitors of this Website and Lord grant You favors to

Devotionals for Sunday February 5, 2017.

Jesus travelled in a class of His Own, never economy, always in comfort…

Even when the Lord was asleep in the hold of the boat and there was a ranging storm, He was at rest…

Luke 8:24

And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. In Context | Full Chapter |

Luke 8:23-25 New King James Version (NKJV)

23 But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. 24 And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!”

Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 But He said to them, “Where is your faith?”

And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”

There will be many more asking the same question…” Who can this be” Because on the day of the Lord, this same Jesus will be travelling first-class…

Revelation 19: 12-16

Christ on a White Horse

11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had[e] a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean,[f] followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp[g] sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS.

The Day of our Lord…. What a day it will be!

Text:                         2 Peter 3:10  [The Day of the Lord]

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

Commentary:

What is the Day of the Lord? This is the day when His Grace ends, what do we mean by this? Before answering this, let’s first look at the meaning of Grace; a: unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification

b: a virtue coming from God, c: a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace. (From the Merriam-Webster)

We see that His Grace is undeserved by us, why do we need His Grace? Because we are all sinners. Why am I called a sinner? Because we are all descendants of Adam, and when Adam & Eve sinned, God evicted them from the Garden of Eden. But God made a way for us to be Redeemed by His Son, Jesus (Read more about the supremacy of Jesus in John 1, Hebrews 1 & Ephesians 1), as He is God in One of our Father) Now His Grace granted to allow us to receive Him exists at this time, but the expiration date will be by one of two means.  One way if you die before accepting Him, and secondly, when He Returns which is known as the Day of The Lord.

Devotional:

Lord Jesus today we affirm Your next coming to be Your Third as You were with the Father at the beginning of it all…

We boldly tell the world that You are no ‘New-Comer’ and Lord when You came the world did not know You even though You made it all. Lord today our mission is just as the Father sent John leading the way as John declared he was not worthy to loosen the latch on Your shoe, Lord we too are like John.  Lord You came for the sole reason to Redeem us, and as we tell others we also tell of Your Unconditional Love and Your Divine Grace and Your Sacrifice at Calvary and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved by Your Grace.

So, Lord Jesus we extend Your invitation as You said… Come unto to You all who are weary and You will grant Your Rest.  Thank You Lord Jesus for coming as we look to that day because Your Word said…

Prayer:  Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Redeemer we come in Your Holy presence. We lift You up before all. Thank You Lord for opening the doors to bring hundreds of Visitors to visit these sites; Lord we are privileged to be Your messenger and we thank You for Your blessings. Lord as we bring Your message to many, let the substance of what we present be from You our Lord. We thank You for the many Visitors and Lord open their mind and let Your Holy Spirit be indwelling for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You be the Glory and the Power now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday February 4, 2017.

Travel is a drudgery, not an experience of joy… why?  try flying economy class in a high-density double-decker airplane for an 8-hour trip, it is not what one would consider the joy of traveling.

Consider that  the American Bald-Eagle will fly solo from Alaska to Newfoundland a distance of approximately 3,500 Miles. The eagle mostly fly during the daytime, and they can see a rabbit from 15,000 Feet and dive at a speed of up to 75 MPH.

While God gave us human dominion over all living things, we are limited in our capabilities compared to His free-spirited animals.  Yet the Lord empowered us to use our brain , maybe us humans have not yet achieved the full potential of interacting with the Doves, Eagles or other living things that are equipped to serve us… We see Noah releasing the Dove to determine the water level of the flood, and the Dove made a determination when it was save to disembark from the Ark.

Things to know…

The magnificent creation…

Imagine if we could have Vision that:

  • Telescopes
  • See in stereo optic view
  • To magnify the image
  • See in the dark
  • See ultra violet images
  • Detect heat with our eyes

Guess what, God made the birds of prey fully equipped with all the above.

He also made the eagles see a minute mice from 15,000 feet away.

We need a telescope to see a car from 15,000 feet below. So, when Jesus said…

The Lord made us individuals, and each of us are given certain skills…

1 Corinthians 12:10

to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. In Context | Full Chapter |

While we deal with what it takes to cope, we must remember the Word of the Lord…

Matthew 6: 25-26 Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than them?

Matthew 6:33-34 New King James Version (NKJV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

We need to know that Jesus is Lord and that He was there at the beginning…

His Promise:

The Message of the Cross to many is the picture of death, but to the Believer the Cross is the realization of the Resurrection, which is Life… in Christ Jesus our Redeemer.

As Jesus said ‘It is Finished’ the Veil was torn, therefore He is no longer Hidden, and we can boldly come to Christ, as He is our High Priest.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Today as we address the challenges of this world come to our Lord by setting aside a formal time to meet and commune with our Lord. There are no other appointments as important as this Morning Prayer with our Lord.  Come to Him many times per day in silent prayers and knowing that He is God and all things work for the good of those who loves our Lord.

Conclusion:

We are to live for the Glory of God not the glory of Self, serving others in His name is laying up treasures in Heaven. as he commanded: “Love one Another”

2 Corinthians 4:  5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Verse 7:  that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. The principle of: We are to live for the Glory of God not the glory of Self

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus we have so much to give thanks for, so today we Thank You for Your Blessings and Your Favors. Lord Jesus today as we go forth in Faith, as you said to the disciples take nothing and all will be provided, we do the same Lord knowing that all good things are from You and we thank You for Your Faithfulness. Lord we pray for Your Peace and Blessings on us all and to our Visitors that are coming to this site, Lord grant us all your favors and we thank You for Your Graciousness and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory Now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday February 3, 2017.

Jesus said… ‘Gather the pieces’, why? Jesus wanted to show It is real and not an illusion

John 6 New King James Version (NKJV)

Feeding the Five Thousand
6 After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias. 2 Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased.

3 And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples.

4 Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near.

5 Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” 6 But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.

7 Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.”

8 One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, 9 “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”

10 Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So, the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples[a] to those sitting down; and likewise, of the fish, as much as they wanted.

12 So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.”

13 Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.

14 Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Commentary:
The feeding of the 5,000 was not an illusion, why? Because of the twelve baskets of left-over. A magic illusion performed by a ‘magician’ leaves no evidence of the illusion, because there are no residual material matters.

Jesus proved Himself to be ‘Real’ after the Resurrection when He asked is there anything to eat?  They gave Him a piece of Fish and He ate it, why? Ghost do not eat, as the physical fish would remain if the spirit tried to eat it.

Praise our Eternal Lord… as we say; Jesus we declare Your Eternal Presence in our lives. Our Lord Jesus who is God Incarnate and He was there before Earth was formed, so this Truth is what we believe, and He will do what is necessary, as He said, "No weapons formed against us will prevail"

Remember when the Syrian also learned that they were not fighting the Israelite, they were fighting Elijah, guess what? they surrounded Elijah with thousands of soldiers, and you saw the result, Elijah said, Our God is more powerful that all of them, and guess what? suddenly they were surrounded by an army from God and the mountain was filled with Chariots of Fire, is our God an Alien? the answer is Yes and No...God is Alien to those that do not know HIM, He is OMNISCIENCE, OMNIPOTENT & OMNIPRESENCE to us believers..

His Promise:
He said... FEAR NOT The Battle is MINE"

Conclusion:
When we look at the structure of a giant fortune 100 companies that dominated their industry, gone are the icons like KODAK®, WorldCom, Washington Mutual, IndyMac, Bear Stearns, RCA, etc; these ‘Giants’ when compared to the business of our Lord, they all came and they all went… but our Lord is forever and as Jesus said his Word will never Pass, Heaven and Earth will pass and His Word will last…

Prayer:
Heavenly Father we thank You for Your Love and Your Son Jesus sent to redeem us.  Lord Jesus today we can boldly say our Redeemer Lives!... Lord Jesus thank You for Your Grace and we extend to our Visitors Your Love knowing that all things work together for the Good of those who love You.  Lord because the Good is You Lord, and in harmony by Your Grace we go in Faith. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forever… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday February 2,2017.

Finding the key to open the door, it’s usually the last one you try that opens the door...

It usually take a few tries before finding the right keys. Fortunately, technology is changing the way we access and enter. Electronic keycards, digital punch codes and facial recognition, etc.

Ford Motors announced that in the future their cars will not have a dash-panel, nor a steering wheel or pedals.  These will be the self-driving automobiles.  Are you ready for this?

Mark the ‘Key-to-life’… make the Lord your ‘Go-To’ because He is the Key to Life as Jesus said…

Jesus holds the Key to Life Everlasting…

Matthew 16:19

And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Hebrews 1 New International Version (NIV)

God’s Final Word: His Son

1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word

Colossians 1: 15-18  New International Version (NIV)

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

Coming to our Lord and finding His Faithfulness:

Hebrews 4:7 NIV
God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”
Hebrews 4:6-8 (in Context) Hebrews 4 (Whole Chapter)

In Colossians 3: 12-14 & 17  we are told how to come to Jesus….

12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

You can come to Him right now by praying

Heavenly Father by the Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ, I accept Your gift of Salvation and I repent of my sins, and accept you Lord Jesus as my personal Savior, knowing I cannot earn save my self and it is only by Your Grace that I can be saves through Faith in You my Lord. I commit my life in Your hands and receive You Lord Jesus and I accept Your Holy  Spirit that will guide me from here on, and I give You the Glory Lord Jesus, knowing You are now my Eternal Living God. I pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus… Amen.

Praise God, for every sinner that repents and accepts our Lord, the angels celebrates in heaven.

Luke 15:10

Conclusion: Luke 18: Christ speaks of ‘beware do not exalt (elevate) ourselves’

The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector

9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable:

10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’

13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’

14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

Prayer; Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord we ask your blessing upon our Visitors, grant each one Your peace, and let Your Holy Spirit be with us all. Lord we thank You for Your Providential care in our lives ad se are privileged to serve You Lord for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to you are the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday February 1, 2017

Focus: Receive supernatural vision today, let the scales fall from your eyes…

Today’s key point… Remember Felix the governor of Rome, while listening to Paul’s experience of how Christ chose him as a vessel on the road to Damascus, Felix faced his own conviction and sensing his need for salvation, but he chose to postpone coming to Christ, and said “not now”

Acts 24:24

And after some days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. 25. Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered, “Go away for now; when I have a convenient time, I will call for you.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Paul was an important person, he was well protected as many wanted to kill him, but he was sent to Rome…

Acts 23:11-24 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Plot Against Paul

11 But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.”

12 And when it was day, some of the Jews banded together and bound themselves under an oath, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul. 13 Now there were more than forty who had formed this conspiracy. 14 They came to the chief priests and elders, and said, “We have bound ourselves under a great oath that we will eat nothing until we have killed Paul. 15 Now you, therefore, together with the council, suggest to the commander that he be brought down to you tomorrow,[c] as though you were going to make further inquiries concerning him; but we are ready to kill him before he comes near.”

16 So when Paul’s sister’s son heard of their ambush, he went and entered the barracks and told Paul. 17 Then Paul called one of the centurions to him and said, “Take this young man to the commander, for he has something to tell him.” 18 So he took him and brought him to the commander and said, “Paul the prisoner called me to him and asked me to bring this young man to you. He has something to say to you.”

19 Then the commander took him by the hand, went aside, and asked privately, “What is it that you have to tell me?”

20 And he said, “The Jews have agreed to ask that you bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though they were going to inquire more fully about him.

21 But do not yield to them, for more than forty of them lie in wait for him, men who have bound themselves by an oath that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him; and now they are ready, waiting for the promise from you.”

22 So the commander let the young man depart, and commanded him, “Tell no one that you have revealed these things to me.”

22 So the commander let the young man depart, and commanded him, “Tell no one that you have revealed these things to me.”

Sent to Felix

23 And he called for two centurions, saying, “Prepare two hundred soldiers, seventy horsemen, and two hundred spearmen to go to Caesarea at the third hour of the night; 24 and provide mounts to set Paul on, and bring him safely to Felix the governor.”

Are you saying to the Lord” Not now”? for Felix it was too late…

Today is the day… Right now:

2 Corinthians 6:2

For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. In Context | Full Chapter |

Do not keep the Lord waiting... He will be there to greet you, as He said “I will never leave you nor forsake you” no one else can make this statement. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness and be relieved that…

Romans 8:28-30, 37-39 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Prayer… Thank you Lord Jesus for your eternal faithfulness. We go in faith knowing that Your Word will prevail and we are blessed to serve you. Lord we thank our Visitors and we ask Your Divine blessings on us all. To You Lord Jesus is the power and the glory now and forever… Amen

Devotionals for Tuesday January 31, 2017

Focus: Would you go on a trip not knowing where you are going? Guess who did this…

Abraham was told to move to a foreign land… Genesis 12 New King James Version (NKJV)

Promises to Abram

12 Now the Lord had said to Abram:

“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.

I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. Then Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of Canaan. So, they came to the land of Canaan. Abram passed through the land to the place of Shechem, as far as the terebinth tree of Moreh.[a] And the Canaanites were then in the land.

Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” And there he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him. And he moved from there to the mountain east of Bethel, and he pitched his tent with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; there he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord. So Abram journeyed, going on still toward the South.[b]

Abraham’ journey was no field trip, it was an ‘Epic move’ to start of something  big, so Big, like the stars of heaven…

And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; In Context | Full Chapter |

So, today be patient, the Lord is not slow in responding, just as He did for Abraham and Sara, not until the right time will we receive the latter rain that brings the bumper harvest.

When God wants you to take that trip, never question Him, it could be your epic-trip to change things, not just for you but for many.

We are all on a Sojourn… Earth is just a ‘stop-over’ and when it’s time to move on God will let you know. Guess what? The destination for Abraham was not Egypt, he went to what Jesus called ‘Paradise’; and so, will it be for those who know the Lord.

We have said… to ‘know-of’ is different from ‘knowing’’ you see to know of a medicine that will cure you but you never took it because all you know is to hear about it, but when you know it, tasted of it and experienced the remedies that it offers then you are cured. The same applies to knowing of Christ, and receiving Him.

To receive Christ, go to http://www.goodnewsforever.org/How_to_be_Saved.html

Prayer: Lord Jesus today we come and thank You for the privilege of bringing Your Good News to many, we thank You Lord for our Visitors as se ask Your Divine blessings on each as we go in Faith knowing that all things work for good to those who love you. Lord let our adoration be heard as you loved us first. We pray in Your Holy Name and to You Lord Jesus in our Father and Holy Spirit, is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday January 30, 2017:

Topic:   What do you have to offer the Lord? Yes, you have something He needs…

What is it that you may have that the Lord needs? Is it your money, your good looks, or your goodness? None of these he wants. Then what do you have to offer Him?

The Lord wants you because of who you are… Your money, your looks are all worthless to Him.  He wants you just the way you are.

Regardless of how you may be, you could be like Saul who later we know as Paul, Paul was a persecutor of believers in Christ, he even held the clothes of those stoning Stephen to death, his mission in life was to arrest believers and bring them to persecuted.  But despite this, Jesus claimed him to be a messenger of the Good News.

Paul’s writing in the New Testament accounts for:

  • Galatians (AD 47)
  • 1 and 2 Thessalonians (AD 59—51)
  • 1 and 2 Corinthians and Romans (AD 52—56)
  • Ephesians, Philemon, Colossians, and Philippians (AD 60—62, during Paul’s first Roman imprisonment)
  • 1 Timothy and Titus (AD 62)
  • 2 Timothy (AD 63—64, during Paul’s second Roman imprisonment)

Acts 9

The Damascus Road: Saul Converted In Context | Full Chapter |

Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”

Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.[a] It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”

Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one. Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

Maybe each of us needs a ‘Damascus-Road’ experience to be drawn closer to Jesus…

Let us Praise our Lord Jesus for His Graciousness…

  • P- Providence
  • R- Redemption
  • A – Assurance
  •  I - Immortality
  • S- Salvation
  • E – Eternity

Lord Jesus we come as we begin this week, we Praise You for Your Grace, Your Redemption and Your Eternal-Assurance.  Jesus just as Paul stood watching Your servant Stephen being put to death; Lord You chose to welcome Stephen home, and even then, You chose to claim Saul as Your servant.  Lord Your Grace is sufficient for us and we thank You for our Visitors and seek Your Providence on us all.  To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday: January 29, 2017

Focus: Prayers of ‘Thanks’ and Adoration more so than ‘Asking’… Thank You Lord Jesus for Your Love, Your mercies, Your Providence and above all Your Divine Redemption.

Should our prayers be more ‘Thank You Lord’ and less…’Lord I need this’ While our Lord said Ask, Seek and Knock, He also knows what we have need of even before we ask.

The reason why we tend to be asking more than ‘thanking’ is we seek what we ‘Want’ not what we ‘need’.

Giving Thanks to the Lord is our return of  Faith in Him as He will provide our needs.  So, think of the many things we are provided with…

  • His Divine Grace
  • His Divine Redemption
  • His Holy Spirit
  • His Providence
  • His breath of Life

When the Lord’s Prayer said… Give us this day our ‘Daily-Bread’ it is referring to Jesus as He is our Bread of Life. And as the Prayer said, ‘He caused our cup to overflow’ this is because receiving Jesus He is the eternal Spring.

So being made aware that His Prayer said, ‘Surely Goodness shall for us for the rest of our lives’ this is founded on Jesus Redemption, as though Him we have life-Everlasting.

To many these words will not be of any meaning, because without the Holy Spirit God’s Word cannot be revealed.

What’s in your basket is there something for that person in need?

Considering that self-preservation is an inborn trait that we all possess. Just as how Peter denied Christ at the arrest of Jesus… Jesus had foretold him that Peter would deny Him.

Matthew 26:33-35New International Version (NIV)

33 Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.”

34 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.

35 But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.

But Peter denied Christ and as he did the third time the rooster crowed…

So today as we ask what’s in the basket? Many of us may not be thinking of the other person in need, as we focus on our self-preservation trait.

God in His infinite design also gave us an instinct of caring for others. And it is a privilege to be able to provide for others. When we give, we receive more than the gratification, we also fulfill the 2nd great commandment which is… To love your neighbor as yourself.

In a world of high demand, you may say having ‘just enough’ is what I have and being able to help others it is not possible. This is using our own judgment but with Christ, He did make it possible for you to have the abundance that you will be able to provide for others.

  1. TEXT: Matthew 6:33-34Good News Translation (GNT)

33 Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all these other things. 34 So do not worry about tomorrow; it will have enough worries of its own. There is no need to add to the troubles each day brings. Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society

Luke 10:25-37 The Good Samaritan…

[25] On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?"

[26] "What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?"

[27] He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

[28] "You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live."

Prayer:   Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus today we Thank-You and we give You our adoration as Your faithfulness and prevailing providence have met our needs. Lord we give You Preeminence in our lives as we thank You for our Visitors and ask Your blessings on each as we go in Faith following Your Word to love You Lord with all our heart and soul and to love our neighbors as ourselves.  To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday: January 28, 2017

TOPIC:   The Lord sends ‘Helpers’ have you had any recently?

I lift up my eyes to the hills–where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. – Psalm 121:1-2

Commentary:  Acts 24:25… Here we read when Paul was before Felix the Governor, who after hearing Paul’s’ testimony of how Jesus transformed him and he became a believer and follower of Christ. We see Felix trembling and saying “Not Now”, many of us apply this ‘Not Now’ attitude when the rubber meets the road… when one is on the brink of being convicted, the evasive attitude sets in.

The Lord sent helpers to Lot, Lot was the nephew of Abraham, Lot on the other hand ‘Piggy-backed’ on Abraham and received an abundance of material things.  Lot was assisted by Abraham to gain cattle and helpers and other comfort in live.  But we have to think was Lot just going along for the ride? Or was he in accord with Abraham in Abraham’s walk with God? It was apparent that Lot sought the creature comfort and liked the ‘City-lights’ and therefore moved to the vicinity of Sodom.  Lot wanted to live close to the ‘Action’ and he did get action, he was captured and his possession was seized’ but Abraham’s love for Lot once more was expressed when Abraham assembled a small group of men of 318, armed with a strategy and the blessing of the Lord, Abraham over ran several armies, defeating them and seizing their wealth.

The rest is history as the Lord blessed Abraham and made his descendants like the sand on the seashores or the stars in the heaven.

Many of us are on the ‘Almost-achieved’ or ‘on the brink’ of receiving the Blessings of the Lord.  But we look at the short-term gain and take the easy road lured by the ‘City-Lights’.

Many scoffers will look at the life of successful evangelists and say they have a comfortable life, because they are receiving tides and living a ‘cushy’ Life… we can count more than a handful of blessed evangelists that are not living a ‘cushy life’ because of their congregations’ tidings.  We can point to several that have generated substantial revenues from their book sales with successful NY Times Best Sellers.

We can draw a parallel on the Project of Government Oversight -

The Project On Government Oversight (POGO), founded in 1981, exposing $640 toilet seats, $7,600 coffee makers, $436 hammers and other ... many of these exorbitant charges were abuses and some were diversions into what is known as ‘black projects’ a black project would be considered a highly classified project, that are classified and cannot be identified, such as the Stealth bombers, etc.  In Evangelism, there are some ‘black-projects’ that are not black, but humanitarian in nature and moneys are diverted many times in ministry to help others in distress, special projects to aid hunger and distressed situations.

No, we are not endorsing diversion of church funds, and many abuses exist, and this is an abomination to our Lord, the parallel is also when David ate of the shrew bread from the temple, because they were hungry.  Mark 2: 25 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungered, he, and they that were with him? 26 How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiatha the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Romans 5:6

Conclusion:

If we are like Felix by postponing the acceptance of our Lord’s precious Gift of Salvation, then it may be too late when we come to that fateful crossroads of life.  Come to Jesus today and be fulfilled by His Grace and be assured that your future is sealed with His Blood.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Lot enjoyed the care of his uncle Abraham, but when the time came for them to part company, Lot chose to live close to town… where he could have the comfort of city life, and the city was Sodom.  Today is we are all living close to the modern-day Sodom… and this is what Jesus said… as in the day of Noah, He will return.  Are we there yet? Yes and the Day of the Lord is at hand soon…

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity we come. Lord Jesus as we stand before the empty cross Lord, we acknowledge that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and Interceding for us Lord. Thank You Lord Jesus for Your Grace and Your Priceless Gift of Redemption.  Thank You Lord for the opportunity of serving You Lord; and thank You for our Visitors, grants Your blessing on each. Lord bless this day and let it be a day filled with your Peace as we ask Your blessing on us all and Your favors to our Visitors. Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday:     January 27, 2017

Topic:     The ‘Inner-Circle’ of Jesus = John, James and Peter… The circle continues…

Today, we may say that Jesus ascended to Heaven and in His absence how can we be part of the ‘Inner-Circle’? The Circle is not broken, and there will be ‘One’ Circle because of the ‘Oneness’ in Christ’.

In our system of government, we have the executive branch. The Executive-Brank executes Policies enforces the law.

Then we have the Legislative branch and the Judicial branch. These are the three branches of the government.

Notice that all branches are founded on adopting rules, execution rules and enforcing rules.  In Heaven, there will be no enforcement, as all will be in ‘Oneness’ in the Lord…

Revelation 7:17

Proverbs 9:10

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

In Context | Full Chapter |

The conclusion to be drawn from the above… Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowledge… meaning that knowledge is to… Know Him, and to love Him. And by our adoration all that we do will be done will not by enforcement but by our transformation in our ‘Oneness in Him’

Wisdom is better than gold, and knowledge will be the enlightenment by His Holy Presence that will bring us in Holiness through the understanding of God’s love, as He guides us to the spring of life.

So, today be part of Jesus’ Circle as He called us… Romans 8:16 New International Version (NIV)

16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

He made us more important than… the Stars, consider the heavens that is filled with billions of Galaxies… The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) site estimates there are hundreds of billions of galaxies in the universe. A recent German super-computer simulation estimates that the number may be as high as 500 billion!

Consider that up to 500 billion galaxies… and we humans are the only ‘Hand-Made’ creation made by God Himself!  Scientists’ recently determined that most of the Milky Way's stars—100 billion is the most conservative estimate—have one or more planets, the researchers reported in Nature Wednesday. None of the planets detected so far appear suitable for conventional carbon-based life as known on Earth.

Man, in our quest to conquer space should be more cognizant of our Almighty God than anyone else, but are we?  The Bible said, when our Lord returns His coming will be seen from the east to the west just like a Lighting flash that is seen in the entire sky…

His Promise:

Ephesians 1:11-23 New International Version (NIV)

11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

His Faithfulness:

Devotionals for Thursday: January 26, 2017

Focus:    Jesus + The Cross X Catalyst = Redemption by His Blood through Grace

Catalyst is defined as… a person whose talk, enthusiasm, or energy causes others to be more friendly, enthusiastic, or energetic.

During the 33 years that Jesus lived on earth, He never expounded His Own Power, He always gave the glory to His Father.  Jesus Himself was and is the Catalyst.

It is all because of Jesus, as declared in the books of John, Ephesians and Colossians.

John 12 NASB

44 And Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, does not believe in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45 He who sees Me sees the One who sent Me. 46 I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness. 47 If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day. 49 For I did not speak [s]on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. 50 I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore, the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.”

Jesus is the Light of the World, and He is the way the Truth and in Him we have eternal-life….

Jesus said He came that we would have life and have it more abundantly…

Text: Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.  Revelation 3:19-21 (in Context) Revelation 3 (Whole Chapter)

John 14:6

Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

John 14:5-7 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. “Acts (in Context) Acts 4 (Whole Chapter)

Principle: For where two or three are gathered together in His name, He is in the midst… (Matthew 18: 20)

Conclusion:

The great commission from our Lord, is to spread the Gospel, and the Gospel is the ‘Good-News’ The following Text outlines the treasure in ‘earthen vessels’ and the greatness of His treasure will demonstrate great power from Him (God) and not from ourselves.  The Text also point out that we are to showcase Him and not have Him hidden I the Earthen Vessels. Remember the Dead-Sea Scrolls found by the shepherd boy? What a revelation that authenticated the Scriptures in many ways.

When we look at how God’s subtle ways of revealing His Truth, we must also remember that Jesus was there at the beginning of it all, and He was before Abraham, known as the ‘Father of many’.

Even though we read that the sons of Jacob, Levi and Judah born to Jacob and Leah, Levi as the tribe of Priest, and Judah as the linage of Jesus, we need to know that 2017 years ago when Christ was born this was not the first time He was here, as He was at the day of Creation and in the Garden with Adam, but Jesus who was prophesized 700+ years before He was born to be crucified and suffer for our sins, Isaiah 53, His birth in Bethlehem was to come among us so that we could accept Him by coming as a Man.

James 1:5

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Come to Jesus and receive His Assurance today, go to our Green pastures page and receive Him and we Praise our Lord for everyone that comes to the Cross and accept our Lord Jesus as their personal Savior.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord today as we acknowledge that Your Truth is no longer hidden in Earthen Vessels, we bring You to all and Praise You as we thank You for our Visitors and this privilege of serving You Lord.  Lord bless each of our Visitors and we thank you for Your Favors and we know that all things work for the good to those that loves You Lord. Lord grant us safety as we stand up for You Lord knowing that we will never be ashamed in placing You first, as we pray to You Lord Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Father, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

It is somewhat an enigma to read the text below:

Job 22: 29 When they cast you down, and you say, ‘Exaltation will come!
Then He will save the humble person.
30 He will even deliver one who is not innocent;
Yes, he will be delivered by the purity of your hands.”

The statement of… He will even deliver one who is not innocent? This is Job’s affirmation of God’s mercies to repentant sinners.

Our answer is, God will deliver even those who are not innocent, Yes, He saves sinners.

As we often say… Thankfully it is only by His Grace that anyone will get to His Kingdom, as said…

Praise God that His Double-Portion will yield a life of perpetual Joy… and as Job said, we also say…

For we know our Redeemer Lives and we shall stand with Him.

The promise of God’s Faithfulness, and His affirmation of restoration…

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a [a]shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive [b]and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Luke 17:6
He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you. Luke 17:5-7 (in Context) Luke 17 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Savior and our Eternal God we come, Lord Jesus as You are on the Throne of Righteousness we give You our Praises and lift You up before men for Your Glory.  Lord today we seek You and know that apart from You Lord, there is no other Savior, and we are Your witnesses. There’s a double-portion available for you, claim it today… it’s free

When Joseph’s brothers visited him in Egypt, he gave Benjamin his youngest brother a double portion. We read about Moses growing up not as a slave but as a governor over Pharaoh’s domain. He went into self-imposed exile and was later called to lead his people out of Egypt. The rest of Moses’ life we know, as he led his people to the Promised-Land, yet he himself never got there.  We see evidence that Moses was taken to God’s Kingdom, rather than Canaan.

Moses and Elijah was present at the Transfiguration of Jesus, this is proof enough that Moses was not left in a grave on the mountainside overlooking Canaan.  God gave Moses a ‘Double-Portion’.

Read Matthew 17:1-13.

Of all the prophets, why did God choose Moses and Elijah to talk with Jesus at that time?

Deuteronomy 3:27 New King James Version (NKJV) 27 Go up to the top of Pisgah, and lift your eyes toward the west, the north, the south, and the east; behold it with your eyes, for you shall not cross over this Jordan.

Moses was forbidden to cross the Jordan to the Promised-Land. On the other hand, we see the event of the transfiguration that occurred around 31 AD, Matthew 17: 2-4 New King James Version (NKJV) Jesus Transfigured on the Mount

17 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.

This was to demonstrate that Moses was not left in the wilderness.

Jesus said that He came that we would have life and have it ‘More’ abundantly.  This is our Lord’s statement of His ‘Double-Portion’ to each of us. John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context | Full Chapter |

As we address the week, rather than singing the ‘blues’, let us start the day knowing that this is a new day a day our Lord has made…  The Rogers & Hammerstein rendition of O what a beautiful morning says it all…

“There's a bright golden haze on the meadow,
There's a bright golden haze on the meadow,
The corn is as high as an elephant's eye,
An' it looks like its climbin' clear up to the sky”

Chorus:
Oh what a beautiful morning,
Oh what a beautiful day,
I've got a wonderful feeling,
Everything's going my way.

Even the ‘Double-Portion’ from Christ today is waiting to be claimed.  So, stop and smell the Roses, be still and know that Jesus is God in One of the Father, as the Father gave our Lord Jesus His ‘Double-Portion’ that He also offered us.

Let us know this, and let it be our credo of life as we sojourn through this life… So, we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:6  In Context | Full Chapter |

Be fearless in coming to our Lord…

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” Hebrews 4:16 In Context | Full Chapter |

The Grace of our Lord is alive and upon us as we claim in faith through Christ… Ephesians 2:8

Receive your ‘Double-Portion’ today by coming to our Lord Jesus and receive His Priceless Gift of Live-everlasting…

Acts 15:11

But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.”

Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

Praise our Lord for His mercies, His Providence And His Divine Redemption…

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus my Lord my Savior my Messiah I come… Lord we thank you for the privilege of bringing Your Good News and we thank You for our Visitors and ask Your Blessings upon each and every one as we go in Faith knowing that all things work for Good to those that love You Lord Jesus.  We pray in Your Holy Name our Sovereigns Eternal God in One of the Father and Your Holy Spirit. Devotionals for Monday January 23, 2017

Topic: The closer we get to our Lord the harder the devil works to destabilize our faith…

Many servants of the Lord have fallen victims of the devil…   The evil one will work harder to lead us astray, to divide and conquer.

Background… Divide and rule (or divide and conquer, from Latin divide et īmpera) in politics and sociology is gaining and maintaining power by breaking up larger concentrations of power into pieces that individually have less power than the one implementing the strategy.

Here’s then objective of the evil-one… that a Captain (the Evil-one) should endeavor with every art to divide the forces of the enemy, (the enemy being the disciples of Christ) either by making him suspicious of his men in whom he trusted, or by giving him cause that he has to separate his forces, and, because of this, become weaker.

End result… the union of strength is broken and the evil one conquerors.

Assumption is a factor that we must weigh heavily before making a decision…

These are the governing factors in maintaining a cohesive union to remain a force for Christ.

Do what Jesus said, first examine ourselves before an accusation: Matthew 7:3  In Context | Full Chapter |

And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?

The devil is masquerading as ‘Angel of Light’ just as how this evil-one tempted Eve in the Garden, he is hard at work in each of our lives.  2 Corinthians 11:14 In Context | Full Chapter

And no wonder! For Satan, himself transforms himself into an angel of light.

Use the Armor of God, Notice, the Word said, Armor, this means that we are to be ‘Shielded’ before we have to use the weapon.  Ephesians 6:10-18 [Full Chapter]

The Whole Armor of God] Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places

Celebrate Victory Today…

Re-Commit all to Christ, because He Restores!

1 John 5:4

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

In Context | Full Chapter |

The world has been cast in two different light.

A] We know John 3: 16 ‘For God so loved the World’ we want to emphasize that the reference to ‘World’ meant the people of the world

B] 1 John 2:15 In Context | Full Chapter |

Do Not Love the World] Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

C] John 18:36

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world.

So, let us sojourn through this world, let us remain focused on Christ knowing that His return is eminent.

Prayer… Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior, Lord we thank You for Your Redemption and we claim victory in You as You have conquered the darkness by Your Eternal-Light. Lord today as we seek to be equipped with Your Armor let us be armed with Your Word that is shaper than any two-edged sword. Lord let Your Holy-Spirit descend on us all as You have conquered this world. We thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your Providence upon us all, To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:  January 22, 2017

To God Time is infinite, with God there is no time, He is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, in Him all things are eternal.

God is never late nor, is He ever not Faithful, He is always On-Time, and He knows each of us by name

Text: 1 John 5:13 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

This Is Written That You May Know

13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

Commentary:

This is His Priceless Gift from our Lord Jesus, He provided us with a ‘Pardon’ that we could not purchase, not even the governor, not the king or queen or anyone could grant you a pardon for the sentence of death that we all have.

Today with Joy knowing in Christ Jesus we have Victory over death, granted through His Blood of Atonement that we can be with our Lord in a place He called ‘Paradise’

Principle: Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10: 13 NKJV

What we need to know that the Bible is not just a book, it was inspired by God, and Jesus that came on the day over 2017 years ago, that started the calendar at Year 01, and 1,984 years after this wonderful day, He was crucified and the Sun went dark for 3 hours, and three days after the crucifixion He rose triumphantly… appeared to the disciples and family then ascended into Heaven.

We read that HE came also to give us abundant life…

John 10:10 (King James Version)

10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly”. (These are the word spoken by Jesus)

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

An everlasting Gift of HIS GRACE:” Ephesians 2:8

Verse 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— Verse 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

What do we have here on earth? Life is a Sojourn through this world, all of what we purchase are classified as non-durable and durable goods… but even the durable goods that are man-made; such as a Car, a TV, a Refrigerator they all wear out, nothing that we have is durable, GOLD is, but it was not made by man, Iron and other metal are forged by man, but they all breakdown, just like us, we get older and we suddenly find that we are mere mortals.

Romans 8: 31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is

for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own

Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with

him, graciously give us all things?

Quote for today: But besides being blind we are also by nature poor. Our father Adam spent our birthright, lost our estates. Paradise, the homestead of our race, has become dilapidated, and we are left in the depths of beggary without anything with which we may buy bread for our hungry souls, or clothing for our naked spirits; blindness and beggary are the lot of all men after a spiritual fashion, till Jesus visits them in love. C.H. Spurgeon

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Seek Him while He may be found, He said today is the day of Salvation.

Jeremiah 33: 3… Call to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

The above text from the New King James Bible said…’Call Me’ just think we do not need a smart phone or an internet connection to be in touch with our Lord, so He said “Call Him”, His is Omniscient, Omnipresence and Omnipotent and He will hear us.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity we come. Lord Jesus thank You for interceding as our sole Mediator between us and the Father. Lord today we affirm that no one comes to the Father unless through You. Lord Your Unconditional love for us overwhelms us as we stand in Awe of Your Majestic Power knowing that You Lord spoke all things into existence but You made us with Your hands and breathed life into us. Lord we thank you for Your Redemption and by Your Grace. Lord bless our Visitors and grant Your Favors to all. Lord let all who seeks You be at peace knowing that we have Victory in You. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday: January 21, 21017

Focus:    2,017 Years and counting, Jesus is not tardy, He is coming and we can count on this, because He said so…

Make your desire sustainable, momentary short-lived enjoyment is soon gone. God will make it sustainable…

Happiness is for a moment, Joy is perpetual, because we are to ‘Rejoice’

If Jesus came today? Would we say look; ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’

They probably would… but not this time, for when He returns He will be coming in the Clouds with the Power and His Glory.

TEXT:     Matthew 24:30

Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

In Context | Full Chapter

Why are we focused on the return of Christ? Because it will be the greatest event of our lives, even to those that are absent from the body, because there will be a great reunion when the trumpet sounds.

Revelation 5: 11-13 (NKJV)

11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,

12 saying with a loud voice:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain

To receive power and riches and wisdom,

And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:

“Blessing and honor and glory and power

Be to Him who sits on the throne,

And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”

Good News:

We can all be at that great event along with our loved ones who went ahead… Why should you be concerned about being present at this even? Because if you do not accept His invitation, then the alternate place will be utter-darkness, forever separated from everyone, everything and in a place Jesus described in His description of the rich man and the beggar Lazarus.

You have Jesus’ personal invitation as He said… 2 Corinthians 6:2 [Full Chapter]

For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Notice the key words… Behold (pay attention) now is the ‘accepted’ time’  because there is a time when it will be a too-late or there won’t be time to just say…”Jesus; I am a sinner, save me as I accept Your Divine Invitation to be cleansed by Your Blood, forgive me of my sins, Lord come into my heart and make me a new creation, thank You Lord Jesus, Amen”

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that through You our Savior we are made Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom. Lord we pray that our Visitors will be guided by Your Good News and that they will be brought to You Lord; Lord bless this day as we go forward in Faith and knowing that all our needs are provided and we give You thanks knowing that Your faithfulness and Your Covenant will never change. Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy name and to You Jesus our Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator, is the Power and the Glory, Now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday:     January 20, 2017

Focus:    The Bible is about Jesus He came on Day-1 of the Creation, if earth is a billion years old, so is He, Jesus said so…

Time is fleeting by, January is almost gone.  Is today just another day? Or is it going to be a spectacular day? Which would you like?

The most spectacular day in history should be day-one of the Creation, it’s not because God created the heavens and the earth, it was spectacular because God said… “Let there be light”; and there was light. ...

Genesis 1 [Full Chapter]

The History of Creation] In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

The declaration of Let it be Light’ was the advent of Yeshua/Jesus who is the Light of the world… God did not yet create the Sun until the 4th day. So, Jesus called by God His Father created all things…

John 1New King James Version (NKJV)

The Eternal Word

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend[a] it.

Today as we face the challenges of this world, let us remind ourselves that all we see, do and are challenged by are temporary.  Only what’s done for Christ will Last. Because he said so…2 Corinthians 4:18

while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things, which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus declared a place that we cannot imagine…1 Corinthians 2:9

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Revelation 21:18

The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. In Context | Full Chapter |

The next spectacular day will be the coming home to His kingdom. Yes, God has prepared a Place as described above and it is only for those ‘who love Him’

We have His Assurance, Assurance is different from ‘Insurance’.  Insurance only insure to the extent of what the property is worth.  Assurance is an all-encompassing ‘Restoration’.  What is our worth? individually we have no residual value…  it is said that one’s body is only worth $160. But in the heavenly realms, we have the Lord’s assurance of His Redemption.

Romans 3:24

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus it is a privilege to know we are justified freely by Your Grace through Your Divine Redemption. Lord we affirm here our mission of knowing You Lord and making You known for Your Glory. Lord we humbly go in faith knowing that You have said all things work together for Good to those that love You Lord. We thank You for our Visitors as we ask Your Divine Providence upon us all. Devotionals for Thursday: January 19, 2017

Topic:     God’s Word is for me and you, it is alive and it is as contemporary today as it was 1,406 B.C. (3,423 Years ago,)

The Bible compiled around 3,423 years ago, is still the best-selling book of all times.

There’s something about this Holy Book that place it on the top seller list of all times.  Is it because of human’s quest to find answers? The Bible over the years a provided comfort, a source of assurance and pointing the way to God’s kingdom.

There are many ‘self-help’ books, life-management series, etc., most will tell you to set a goal, and how to achieve your mission. The Bible is the best-selling book of all times… and it is full of ‘secrets’ that are revealed.  The Bible is a storehouse of knowledge, it reveals how to deal with success, how not to take the ‘shortcuts’ in life, but it also reveals the secret of overcoming, Adversities, how to gain ‘Victory’ and it also affirms the Promises of our Lord.

Some may dispute this as the bible said… things like, if it was to record the things that our Lord Jesus did, even the whole world could not contain it?  How could Jesus\ 33 years on earth and His actions could not be contained even in the whole world? Let’s step back FOR A MOMENT AND LOOK AT THE Galaxy… how many billions are out there in the ‘Milky-Way’, our most powerful telescopes and probes are just touching the tip of the universe.

The fastest we can travel is The Apollo 10 crew; Thomas Stafford, John W. Young and Eugene Cernan achieved the highest speed relative to Earth ever attained by humans; [citation needed] 39,896 km/h (11.1 km/s, 24,790 mph, approximately 32 x speed of sound, approximately 0.0037 percent of the speed of light). The record was set 26 May 1969.So, our best is not enough, at 32 times the speed of sound and a fraction of the speed of light we cannot do what Jesus did.

He ascended at the speed of light, and so will we; as in the twinkling of an eye we shall all be transformed into a new creation. Making this statement gives one goose-bumps as many of us cannot board a roller-coaster, much less being propelled at the speed of light.  The ‘Mystery’ of what lies beyond the speed of light will be revealed to each of us.

Conclusion: As we end the day, let us be prepared by reading the Best-Seller of all times… The Bible, search it and find His ‘Secrets’ and one of the most direct statement revealing one of His secret is…

 Matthew 6:33-34

New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, Ephesians 2:19 NIV

Invitation:

Romans 8:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

His Assurance:

Romans 5:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Matthew 26: 41 NIV

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Heavenly Father in our Lord Jesus we come to knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and You intercedes for us, Lord, fill us with Your Holy Spirit and direct our pathways as we seek to be led by Your divine guidance as the Author and Finisher of our Faith.  And by Faith we come and accept You Lord klnowi9ng that all things work for good to those that love You, and in acknowledgement of Your Word, that You will never leave us nor forsake us. Lord be with each of our Visitors and bless every one with Your providence. We pray this in Your Holy Name and we give You the Praise and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday: January 18, 2017

Focus:    God knows our names, we are all known as ‘Sinners; hello Mr. or Ms. Sinners, come to Christ today…

No, we are not judging anyone, nor condemning anyone, but our names are written in the Bible.  It is not because you are famous nor is it because you are a prophet, but God did call you and us. Because he has chosen us to be in His kingdom.

An old English story related the experience of a Dutchman who had settled down at the Cape of Good Hope, he saw a poor native reading the Bible and said scornfully… This book is not for you or the likes of you.” The native person answered quietly: “Yes, it is for me, sir.” The Dutchman said… How do you know?” - “Well my name is mentioned in it”, “your name?  Where?”. “Sir, said the man, pointing to the verse…This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptances that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” … Sinner, that is my name, that’s why the book is for me. The Dutchman did not know what to say to this.  Yes, God’s Holy Word is a book for us all.

We can say with full conviction that the Bible is the only book for us all, and we can draw riches for time eternity.  Happy are all who read it in simplicity and sincerity of heart like that native man who recognized himself to be a Sinner before a Holy and Righteous God that show not preference, as He is not prejudice and does not take sides because of race, color or creed.

Let us not ‘pre-judge’ anyone and let us revisit His Commandment which is founded on Love.

1 Timothy 1:15 New International Version (NIV)

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners —of whom I am the worst.

The Grace and Love of our Lord

Topic: If God will not tolerate sin, how can you come to Him? You can, He made it possible through Jesus…

Jesus said…” I am the Resurrection and the Life…

And for this reason, He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. In Context | Full Chapter |

Therefore, praying to the Father requires us to acknowledge the presence of Jesus… Why? Because Jesus is not the Third Party, Jesus intercedes for us to the Father. It is all because of His Righteousness that we are presented to the Father.

If you are being interviewed by your lawyer who will represent you in the presence of a judge, are you able to say… sir, I am sinless and I am righteous?  Would you be able to say I am a good person, I have never lied, I have never cheated nor do I have any wrong-doing against anyone? If the scoring points to gain entry is 100% could you qualify?

In live the scoring of 100% may be achievable for academics, but for moral standings can anyone achieve 100%? In the heavenly realms, it is not the legality, the morality nor your goodness that will allow you in the presence of the Father, it is by the Grace of God through His Son Jesus, who paid the price for what you and us all as transgressors.  So as transgressors, we are privileged to come to Jesus Christ who redeemed us, by ‘Bonding’ us out of the bondage of sin.

So, today as we are given the Divine Grace of our Lord Jesus, let us come boldly to Him and seek His forgiveness.

Devotionals for Monday January 16, 2016

Thoughts for the day… Do we know the way to Utopia? What is Utopia? How long will Utopia last if you find it?

Topic: Is there someone you need to forgive, or someone you should ask their forgiveness? Do it while there’s time.

Focus: Forgiving in your own mind may not be sufficient to please the Lord… He said first go and forgive and come back to Him. His order was ‘Leave’ the alter and fist do this then return to Him after ‘Reconciliation’

Today we may forgive others who wronged you, but if you ‘wronged’ someone, was Christ saying you are make amend the wrong?  Let’s explore the Word…

Matthew 5:24

leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. In Context | Full Chapter |

Sometimes forgiving is more than a One-Way give, it takes two to reconcile. But if the other party will not accept your forgiveness or your apology of what you did, then your personal pledge of forgiveness will be considered a peace offering that the Lord will considered offered.

The Pope forgave the person who shot him, many others who were victims of violence also forgave their assailants.  To carry a ‘grudge’ or a hate is only hurting one person, and that person is yourself.  Forgiving a wrong-doer not only makes right with the Lord, but it heaps coals of fire upon the head of the wrong-doer.

You will be set free by your good intent of forgiving others by saying I am ‘Sorry’, to remove the hurt and accept the Joy of the Lord; as He forgives our sins and remove them as far as the east is from the west, and He remembers them no more.

Only the devil keeps on reminding us of our wrongful-deeds, he wants to keep you on the sinning-side. So. Leave the ‘baggage’ behind and move unto the road of Joy in Christ.

Praise our Lord today for His Graciousness and His Divine Redemption… Thank Him for His Unconditional Love He has given us through His Priceless Gift that we are undeserving of.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus as You are our Mediator, we are blessed to know that You intercedes for us. Lord as we start this new week we place it all in Your hands.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your Divine blessings on each today as we go in Faith knowing that all things work together for the Good by Your Grace. We pray in Your Holy Name and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:  January 15, 2017

Topic:     The Promised land is always within easy reach.  Jesus is from another world, and it is ‘Light-Years’ away but in the twinkling of an eye we will get there.

How can we decide if something is from God or from the world?

Text: 1 John 2:15-17 New International Version (NIV)

On Not Loving the World

15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.

Commentary:

Jesus Himself declared that He was not of this world… What was He telling the Jews in the Temple?

They disputed all of His representation, but He said they were blinded by their father who is the devil…

The interaction between Jesus and the Jews took place before His Crucifixion and most of these Nay-Sayers were around to see His Divine Resurrection.  Those present at His Crucifixion then realized He was truly the Son of God…

John 8:23
But he continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 8:22-24 (in Context) John 8 (Whole Chapter)

We urge you to read the entire chapter of John 8, this is an intense dialogue between Jesus and the Jews in the Temple

Can God Change my life?

He is willing… but what if we are not willing to change our old ways?

When we come to Jesus our High Priest, He intercedes to His Father our Creator, we are told to come to HIM boldly and make all petitions known with Thanksgiving in Prayer to our Lord Jesus.

How can we be changed to be bulletproof from temptation?

No one is immune to temptation to sin, even Jesus was tempted but He remained Sinless, he used the scripture to thwart the temptation of the devil.

We too need the Two-edged Sword to thwart the temptation which is more than ever a blitz in lights, on the TV, the Internet, Print and music etc.  We have to look beyond the temporary pleasure that is abominable to our Lord.  We need to ask for His help in overcoming the urge.

1 John 1:9

New International Version (NIV)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

His promise goes beyond our today’s need…

Philippians 1:6

New International Version (NIV)

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Before Abraham… Jesus was the Great I AM….

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Hebrews 10:22: "Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith.

Seek Him while He may be found…Isaiah 55:6
Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Isaiah 55:5-7 (in Context) Isaiah 55 (Whole Chapter)

1 John 5:3-4

New International Version (NIV)

In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

Conclusion:

The one sure thing that we can say will be from the Lord, this will be known as ‘The Day of the Lord’

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives” 2 Peter 3:10-11 NIV

Psalm 32:6
Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.
Psalm 32:5-7 (in Context) Psalm 32 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus name we come, Lord Jesus today as we seek Your Guidance and Your Divine Providence in our lives, Lord let us be led by Your Holy Spirit.  Lord we look to that day in Faith, when You appear we shall see You as You are, and we shall be transformed in the twinkling of an eye. Lord Your Word said, In You dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and we are complete in You Lord Jesus, and You are the head of all principalities and Power. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your favors as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Saturday: January 14, 2016

Topic:     The Providence of the Lord is readily available, so why aren’t everyone getting their share? Read more…

This will not be one of the ‘prosperity’ message, but what we have to say is based on what Jesus said.  He said many things about…

  • Abundance
  • Providence
  • Winning the Battle
  • Gaining the Prize
  • And bringing His ‘Rewards’

Let us focus on what is sustainable, nothing that we own, our houses, our cars, our personal belongings and even your life is not forever.  While our Lord spoke of His abundance, He also spoke of what will last, and from many of Jesus astonishing statements, He said He went to prepare a place that where He is you will be there also.

Remember that Jesus said… “I am not of this world” this would be the most amazing statement if we were to have a visitor today and while he was talking and introducing himself, he said…” I am pleased to meet you, and let me tell you I am not of this world, and I am here for a short while and I will return to where I am from to the one who sent me”

Such a meeting would be either dismissed with a response of this person being delirious or out of his mind.  But this person not only said these things, he performed many amazing things, he was killed, buried, and rose from the dead, and walked among his friends for forty days, then he performed the most amazing thing by levitating upwards to the heavens. Who was this? This person also had some strange helpers, who said… This same Jesus who ascended to the heavens will one day return.

The event mention above occurred 1,894 years ago, but many of what was said by Jesus is being realized.  One of the amazing thing that occurred 50 days after His resurrection is the day of Pentecost… this is the realization of what Jesus said would occur…

Acts 2 [Full Chapter]

Coming of the Holy Spirit] When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. ...

So, the question today… The Providence of the Lord is readily available, so why aren’t everyone getting their share? Read more… Maybe the reason why the Providence of the Lord is not upon each of us, could be because the nations have drifted apart, as we read in Acts 2…’that they were all in ‘One-Accord’ in ‘one-place’ this referred to: people from every nation under heaven, including Persian, Jews, Egyptians, Libyans, Asians, Romans, Jews, Gentiles and Arabs were all together in one accord. read more…

Acts 2: And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?

Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” 12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?”

Pray for a change among this divided world…

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus we affirm that every knee shall bow as Your return will bring order to this divided world which will be a new Kingdom as described by John. Lord we look with great anticipation as all what You have said are being fulfilled. Lord we thank you for the privilege of serving You and all is for Your Glory, as we thank You for our Visitors and seek Your Divine Providence upon us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday: January 13, 2017

Focus:    Worrying will not solve the problem, the Bible said… Ask, Seek & Knock and you will find it.

The difference of ‘Thinking’ versus worrying is to focus on the problem and get a solution.

Solution cannot be achieved by ‘Wishful’ thinking, but positive thinking can help, the help may not be from your own thinking, but by applying positive thinking you will find the source that will produce the solution.

Ask, Seek & Knock are instruction from the Lord… Matthew 7:7

Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking] “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Do not offer your life to God with conditions; He does not accept any ‘Pre- Conditions’

Text:       Romans 12: 1-8

Commentary:

  • We need to adopt the principles of not trying to save our life for our own goal, but give it with no condition even to death
  • We need to let go and no strings attached so that the Grace of God will take charge of our life
  • This is what we call a living sacrifice

Each of us received specific talents, some with the gift of communication, some with music some inventors and some with financial skills, some are leaders and some are followers. Whatever skills we possess we can use it to help others.

Fanny Crosby a blind person wrote some of the most beloved hymns with over 100 million copies of her hymns printed.

Albert Einstein is the great scientist of the twentieth century and notable physicist of all time. It is told that he had learning disability in his childhood. He could not talk till he was three and could not read till he was eight. Despite such problems, he later became the noble prize winner for his contribution to the Physics.

Thomas Edison is the great inventor who has over 1000 patents and his inventions are in various fields used in our daily life. In his early life, he was thought to have a learning disability and he could not read till he was twelve

Helen Keller (Devoted Life to Persons with Disabilities) She was Blind, Deaf, and Mute.

All the above individuals facing life’s challenges made their mark on earth with significant contribution to mankind, except for Fanny Crosby who set out to give her Lord praises and to share her faith, but while doing this she received the blessing of the fragrance of our Lord. She was admitted to the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

The example of Fanny Crosby above points us to the fact while we spread the fragrance of our Lord, we will also receive His fragrance.  Remember only what’s done for Him will last and only what He builds will last. So, let Him build our lives by His Grace, and following our Lord’s commandments, No. 1 To Love Him and No.2 to Love our Neighbors.

What can we contribute to society, it starts with one person, and the one person that can make a difference is ourselves. The bury our heads in the sand approach will not accomplish anything; it just takes a small spark to have started the great Chicago fire.  Thousands of acres burn across the US-West, guess what? they all started with a small spark or a small flame. The small Rudder on a giant Cruise-liner changes the directions.  The tongue is a small organ but it can inflict serious damage.

Plant seeds by speaking positively, never ‘dumb-down’ or putting down anyone, including yourself, step out in Faith…remembering that negativity only breeds failure, and success breeds success.

So, look around see what talent the Lord gave you, get involved. Bring your ideas to your church; seek others to join you in volunteering to help other. Even visiting nursing homes, hospitals and Children’s home, etc.

His Faithfulness:

Matthew 25: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

Prayer:

Father thank You in Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus, thank You for coming and thank you for Your Grace and by Your Divine Resurrection we have Victory in You. Lord as we sow the seeds of Your Righteousness, Lord let in fall on good ground and bear much fruit for Your Glory. Lord we thank You for the thousands that visited this Website as it is for Your Glory to bring many to you Lord. We ask Your blessing upon our Visitors and that all will come to You realizing Your Love and great Salvation through Your Sacrifice. Lord we are humbled by Your UN-Conditional love for us all. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory. Now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday January 12, 2017

Finding a needle in a haystack… God knows exactly where you are among 8 Billion people.

‘Making Haste-slowly’ is really an oxymoron description. But this defines exactly the state of affairs in government.

When you combine legalism with liberalism you get this result of -making ‘haste’ slowly.

Today the media is supplemented by ‘Fake-News’ this is what we used to call ‘Lies’ now the meaning of News is diluted to be a blend of gossips with lies that produces a society driven by rumors and destructive intent to blemish others.

Where is the spirit of ‘Unity’ the mission of ‘Peace’ and goodwill? It is buried in the greed factor of the human-race.

What we see today is parallel dating back to the year 0033 when Jesus was questioned by the scribes…

John 12:37-44New King James Version (NKJV)

Who Has Believed Our Report?

37 But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him, 38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke:

“Lord, who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

39 Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again:

40 “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts,
Lest they should see with their eyes,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.”

41 These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.

The political scene today is driven by many in darkness, as they stumble along the way…’making haste-slowly’

So, today to those that believe in the Lord Jesus we say…Praise God for walking in the Light and not wasting time knowing that the Truth shall set us all free…

Walk in the Light

42 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; 43 for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

44 Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me.

Therefore… Believe in Christ is a Trust in the Triune God of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Too often we simplify our faith… why? The age-old statement of Jesus loves me needs to expanded to say, ‘Jesus Loves who is God in One of the Father who loves me too’

Isaiah wrote about our Messiah 700 years before Christ was born of a virgin.

Read the Text in Isaiah 53:5

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.  In Context | Full Chapter |

What a privilege we have at this very moment to say God loves ‘me’ and Jesus is my ‘Friend’ indeed?

John 15:15 (Jesus said this)

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

Today… Let us Praise ‘Them’ why ‘them’ instead of Him? Because God said ‘Let-us’ create mankind in ‘our’ likeness…this declared His presence when God said… ‘Let there be Light’  and Yeshua/Jesus appeared at the first day of Creation. Therefore, today we Praise Them, and we love Him because He first loved us.

Father in Heaven and Jesus our Lord in Unity Lord Jesus knowing You said… He who believes in You, is believing in the Father who sent You, and You our Lord is God in One of the Father.  Today, Lord we thank You and we give you preeminence in our lives.  We thank You Lord Jesus for this privilege and our Visitors as we give You the Glory and let Your Divine Providence be upon us all. Thine is the Kingdom now any forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday, January 11, 2017

Focus: Fishing is knowing where to cast your Net… Just like knowing where to Hit, to every action there is a reaction

The following is a humorous story of a foreign country purchasing a computer from a U.S. firm. The computer was purchased with no service contract to avoid the US firm accessing their data under the service contract. The computer broke and the owners could not get it to restart, finally they decided to call the U.S. Manufacturer to get it fixed.  The Technician from the U.S. came, surveyed the system, took out his stethoscope and listened, then took out a RUBBER MALLET and gave the computer a hit at the bottom left corner and the system started.  The Technician said the cost is $20,000.  The government officer said, I need an itemized bill, as all you did was hit the Computer, The Technician gave then an itemized bill, as follows: To find where to hit $19,999.00 to Hit Computer $1.00

Fishing is knowing where to cast your Net…

When Jesus said…  John 21:6

And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So, they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish. In Context | Full Chapter

In our everyday lives, we all need to know where to drop our lines when fishing.  The Lord said…” Follow Him and He will make us fishers.

Matthew 4:19

Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Today to be politically correct we must say Fishers of Souls.  We are privileged to be chosen as we follow our Lord.

As we face the daily chores, let us give thanks as follows:

  • Thank the Lord for making us able to cope with the challenges of this world
  • Thank the Lord for claiming us as a Child of His
  • Thank the Lord for letting us know that we are His ‘Prized-possessions’
  • Thank the Lord that we can come to Him Boldly and present Him to the world, as we do this all for His Glory by His Graciousness.

So, while we are sent on a ‘Fishing-expedition’ we can know that we are being directed as our Lord makes our pathway straight.  Because His faithfulness abounds…

Thank the Lord for His Divine Redemption and His Faithful Providence as we go in faith knowing that He has good things in store for us. As affirmed in His Word…

John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

1 Corinthians 15:10

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. In Context | Full Chapter |

Hope is defined as…Expectation of a good outcome.  Faith is believing on something unseen…

: Are you going in Faith, or going by risk? How can a farmer sleep through a Thunderstorm that may produce Hail?

Text: Hebrews 9:27 And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,

Hebrews 9:26-28 (in Context) Hebrews 9 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary: Hail destroys the corn crop, just imagine that you have several hundred acres planted with Corn, and somewhere along the way when the corn is about to yield a bumper harvest, then comes the weather report of an oncoming unstable weather with a band of Thunderstorm and potential Hail or even a tornado.

In God, His Assurance is not just a replacement of what we currently have but a new irreplaceable place that He has prepared for us. And our new life will be a ‘New-Creation’

Consider the risk of not having insurance for the crop, but what’s worse is going along in this world without insurance.  All things are replaceable, except one thing, your life, and this life that you now live can never be lost, except that your body will return to dust and you will live-on forever. So why do we need Insurance?  The need to have ‘Assurance’ for our future beyond this life is a must. So how can we obtain this Assurance?  The Bible said “it is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgment’…

Notice it said; ‘Once to die’ but after this the Judgment… If we die how can we be around for the judgment? Factually, you will never really die. So, to avoid judgment, come to Jesus and accept Him, and be among the believers that will not be condemned…

The Bible said every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess. But as we read in…

Romans 8: 1, (NASB)

Deliverance from Bondage

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do soand those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

EVENING: Action/Coming to our Lord:

Conclusion:

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Devotionals for Monday January 9th, 2017

Focus: Opportunity is something we cannot demand, it is to be given and be received.

Opportunity is something you do not get…It is something to be ‘Claimed’ only by the ‘Providence’ of the Lord, it is something I can ‘Get’ I ‘Cannot’ claim it…as He will ‘Provide’.  God’s Providence cannot be claimed.  it is only by the privilege that I Receive it by His Grace. I am undeserving of His Grace & His Providence by His Unconditional Love that makes me eligible to be blessed by His Grace, and I am to use it all for His Glory…

His Faithfulness:

  1. John 14:2 (NASB)
In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:1-3 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

  1. John 14:3
If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

For sure God who made us did not make us to return our love to him like a ‘Puppy-love’. God made us with Free-Will. Puppy love is a temporary state of mind usually experienced by adolescents. This is called infatuation; in some way, this is the relationship we have with our Lord. Not to judge anyone, but to live without ‘Grace’ is like driving without insurance, the difference in real life, driving without insurance is a traffic offense and could be construed a crime.

Grace is the ‘Glue’ that holds our ‘Faith’ together. Life is described by Spurgeon as a ‘Slippery slope’ and falling off without Grace is a tragic situation.  Grace is His Real Assurance. Our Creator loves us to the extent that after the fall of Adam and Eve in succumbing to the temptation of the devil, our Lord found Adam and after their confession, our Lord killed an animal and made Skins for them to wear.

This act of killing and the shedding of blood was a for-telling of the Savior’s Crucifixion for our sins.  The Bible said without the shedding of Blood there is no remission of sin.  His blood at Calvary was for the Atonement of our sins.  This Divine act to many cannot be understood by scientific principles, why? It is just like the method of how God spoke the Heaven and Earth into existence, and what is more un-scientific; is how God made man from dust and breathed life into his creation.  We know the saying ‘dust to dust’, but this is not the end of our life, it is the beginning as we cross the threshold into Eternity.

One of the next scientifically un-proven things is that our soul lives on.  The only proof of Life after death was the witness by thousands of Jesus, and by His disciples. Jesus spent 40 days with them after He rose triumphantly from the grave.  Jesus even came to the beach and where they were returning from all night fishing without any catch, and the Lord said “Cast your net to the right’ and the catch was a most bountiful haul.  Jesus spent many days eating and talking and telling them about the coming of the Holy Spirit.  These followers of Jesus were all unlearned ordinary guys, but when our Lord Ascended into Heaved by another un-explainable method of levitation… these fellows received the Holy Spirit and became fully knowledgeable of the Good News of the Gospel.

His Promise:

Without His Grace our life on this planet would be somewhat pointless, why? Even if you have a successful career and is set for ‘Life’ we ask... what is Life? 80-90 or even a hundred, then what? Remember Solomon who was considered the wisest king and the richest of all kings, King Solomon came to the conclusion ‘All is Folly’ With this said, we are blest to know that the “Best is Yet to Come’ we did promise this, our Lord Jesus said so. And His word will never change.

Conclusion:

Today speaking to a brother in Christ, and the discussion was on the subject to the financial crunch of our times, he was saying that he would like to sell his business and then focus on a ministry project, and he was working to achieve this, I reminded him that rather than working to achieve this, the principle of Matthew 6: 33 should apply.  Then again, his objective is like what the Lord said, follow me, and the person said he had to bury someone in his family, and our Lord told this person, let the dead bury their dead, Jesus was said, what we are working one could be of all purposes be dead, and only what’s done for Him is alive, as He is the Light of the of the World, and He is Life Everlasting.  He is Eternal.

Prayer:

Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus today we acknowledge Your Holiness, and only through You we can come to the Father, as Sinners will not be tolerated in His presence. Lord because of Your Redemption we have the privilege of coming into the presence of the Father. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Saving Grace, and we thank you for preparing a place for us all.

Lord today as we stand in Faith and go forward to spread your Good News for Your Glory, Lord, bless our Visitors and grant Your Divine Favors to us all. Lord we pray for our nation as we approach the crucial time of new leadership. Lord let your will be done as You are in charge and we thank You for all that You have provided. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday January 8th, 2017

Focus: Spending Quality-Time and gaining in-sight from The Word…

Oneness in Christ…

Oneness in the Body of Christ

Text:

Galatians 3:26-29

New International Version (NIV)

26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Commentary:

Reading the Bible or attending Church cannot save you… these bold statements are rather contrary to many preacher’s definition of being saved.  I was reading this morning about instructions from a pastor to one of his congregation... “Go home and Pray” If you are an ambassador of a country it is your responsibility being an ambassador or an officer at the Embassy, if someone comes and asks” how can I seek political asylum as I am being pursued by my government for speaking about being a Christian”, would we say go home and wait? Wait for what? To be arrested? Or a miracle?  The same applies if someone comes and said, I am facing a doubt in my mind of how to be sure I have been saved? The answer is not one of Reading the Bible or attending Church. Praying may save you if you were praying to the Lord Jesus and in fact called upon His name you will be saved.

So, the instructions go home may not help you in finding the Truth. The Truth defined as the Good News of His Salvation.  It is the duty of the Pastor to counsel and provide guidance.  Therefore, we are doing what Paul was saying to the Philippians, described below…

Philippians 1:12-18

New International Version (NIV)

Paul’s Chains Advance the Gospel

12 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has served to advance the gospel. 13 As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. 14 And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.

15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill.16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.

Yes, and I will continue to rejoice.

His Promise & His Faithfulness:

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:8-10 (in Context) 1 John 1 (Whole Chapter)

The Solution is…. Hebrews 7:25
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
Hebrews 7:24-26 (in Context) Hebrews 7 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:

Key note:  We are to add nothing to the Gospel, (No Pre-condition)

  • The Gospel defined in:
  • Romans 10:  9. that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Faith & the Holy Spirit are the Keys and our anchor:

Romans 12 New King James Version (NKJV)

Living Sacrifices to God

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Principles:  Any method of Salvation that departs from Faith is the basis for a perversion or it is no Gospel at all.

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus we come knowing that our Lord & Savior Jesus sits on the Throne of Righteousness and as we come He intercedes for us. Lord we thank You for this day that we are privileged to serve You Lord and to bring Your Good News to all. Lord let our visitors find Grace in You as Your Faithfulness is forever and those that call on You Lord will be Saved. We give You our Praises and we thank You for allowing us to be a Vessel for You Lord. We pray in Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God in One of the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Devotionals for Saturday January 7th, 2017

Focus:    Starting Strong, run the race to finish strong…

Let’s start the New Year Strong!... In Christ is all about a New Beginning, there is no ending in the Heavenly realms.

Text: Romans 13:11-12

New King James Version (NKJV)

Put on Christ

11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now, our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

Commentary:

Our Lord is Eternal, He is Jehovah… yes Yeshua/Jesus is Forever. Today rather than thinking of finishing strong, we want to focus on welcoming the New Year with a strong Praise of our Sovereign Savior.

2016 was a challenging year for many, and mankind did not make any new outstanding discoveries during 2016, neither did we improve the standard of living for many. Needless to say, there are more homeless population, more people going hungry, schools are failing, more violence and what’s next.  What is the root cause of these disarray?  Whenever someone says…” It is because God is out of the equation” the press would jump all over this person, what is the agenda of our press? TV, Newspapers, Internet and other medias are all focused on what? One could say decadence is the top priority. Life-style and greed factors are headliners.

Who do we blame? Our leaders? Parents, Hollywood? Our pastors? Or just society at large?  One thing for sure we cannot blame God… His warning is perpetually stated in His words.  So how do we end this cycle of a down-spiraling in our society?  Let us look at the ‘Solution”

2 Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:13-15 (in Context) 2 Chronicles 7 (Whole Chapter)

It would take some global catastrophic event for our ’Stiff-necked’ population to follow the above instruction. So, let’s us start with ourselves…  we may recall the little boy tossing beached Star-Fishes back into the ocean, and this old guy came up and said there are so many, what you are doing won’t make a difference, the boy continued tossing, and as he tossed another, he said, “to this one it will make a difference”.

Let’s ring in the New Year with a great anticipation of our Lord’s return…

Principle: 1 John 5:3

New King James Version (NKJV)

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

How wonderful is the love of our Savior as He said...

James 1:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

Profiting from Trials

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Romans 8:28

New King James Version (NKJV)

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we look forward to the beginning of a new year which is the year 2013 after Your Divine Birth, Lord bless this day as we go in faith knowing that You are in charge Lord. Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You for Your Glory. Lord bless our Visitors and grants us Your Favors Lord. We seek Your Divine Guidance for the coming year as we look to You to be filled with the Holy Spirit and be a Vessel bearing Your Word of Salvation.  In Your name, we pray Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday January 5th, 2017

Focus:  Gaining the world but losing your Soul – Reverse the order

Reversing the order by Gaining Christ’s Grace… Gaining His Grace leads to His Kingdom, a Place of Splendor.

Topic:     Is the Message of Salvation being diluted?  Are we seeking prosperity or are we seeking the love of God?

Text: Revelation 22:18
A Warning ] For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
Revelation 22:17-19 (in Context) Revelation 22 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

Before we make any critical statement of a nation that is adrift… let us first know the Good News, Christ came and He Died, He Rose and He paid for our Sins… and Through Him we have His Word that He will be our Savior.

As we look at the political setting and the effects of policies imposed on our society, can we say that this nation is adrift?  Are we just re-arranging the deck-chairs on this mega Titanic?  Brothers and Sisters, Boys and Girls, do not be dismayed, as what we are passing through is what our Lord said will occur, but the best is yet to come.  This is a ride equivalent to the largest roller-coaster, and we are not yet into the most trilling section of the ride, but our Lord has assured us that no matter what we face He will never leave us nor forsake us.

To board a giant roller-coaster, we must have faith in the operator and the manufacturers that the cars will not be falling off the tracks, if we can trust man to provide the integrity of the ride, (which failed several times) we can trust our Lord for HE is forever faithful…

Many times, we have heard this statement (especially on TV) ‘And God told me so last night” now I do not know which God the speaker is referring to? But if he had a face to face conversation with God, then the Bible is a lie… Because it clearly stated ‘No one has ever seen God, except His Son’

 1 John 4:12
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
1 John 4:11-13 (in Context) 1 John 4 (Whole Chapter)

So, when we are told to plant a ‘Seed’ and the ‘Seed will guarantee a return of monetary gain, if we believe this, we can offer you a bridge in NY for a few dollars.  Today is not a day of bashing such statements, but the message of our Lord is being diluted and substituted by the Get rich, feel good and send money now ministries.

No doubt about it; it takes money to buy airtime, and to publish materials and the Pastors must also earn his pay, But when we choose to serve, we are not ‘Hired by the Listeners’ we are in God’s employ, and He will provide without the need to ‘stretch’ the message into making any misrepresentation.

Many of today’s outreach for the Lord are being circumvented to reach out for dollar. Our Lord knows what we have need of before we even ask, if we are in Faith then this is so, there is no need to spend 80% of the programming to solicit money, doing this is just providing more fodder for the Scoffers to say that it is all about the dollars.

Many Pastors exist and many are not taking salaries, as the Lord has blest many with income other than the churches, and these are fine examples of Christian leadership.  But sometimes the message must be presented to make clear that giving is a privilege, and therefore, the message of the ‘Seed’ is abused, the ‘Seed’ is to be planted for His Kingdom, and from the Seeds of which He provides we are to nurture it, plant it and reap an abundant harvest for His Glory.  Giving is an act of Love for our Lord, if we are ‘giving to-get’; forget it as you will not be receiving any returns, as this is what our Lord said, ‘Because you asked amiss’ meaning your intentions are not well intended. When we give, it is a privilege and our Lord loves a:’Cheerful’ giver…

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

1 Timothy 2:5-6

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.

Today we thank our Lord for His Abundance Grace, His Providence and His Eternal Love.

Devotionals for Wednesday January 4th, 2017

Focus: Q-1 =3 months’ time – How about a Day at a Time? Today is what counts…

A day at a time… The moment is Now! Tomorrow is not yet here you can do somethings today, not tomorrow.  Tomorrow is a ‘projection’ and is still in the future… Now is the important moment in your life.

James 4:14 [Full Chapter]

whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

James the brother of Jesus wrote the above Text in AD 50.  At the time when Jesus lived among His earthly siblings, James his brother did not believe Jesus to be the Son of God.  It was not until Jesus Resurrection that James became a believer.  James went on to be the head of the Jerusalem Council.  The Jerusalem Church consisted of Jewish Christians that were scattered after Stephen’s death.

The use of ‘Vapor’ 1,967 years ago, to describe the brevity of life is as contemporary today, as back then.  We are so privileged to be here ‘Today’ and to know that it is only by the Will of the Lord that tomorrow will be a reality.

Use the time at hand and let your friends, family members and all know the Good News of Jesus’ Redemption. Because it is said in the twinkling of an eye…

Devotionals for Tuesday January 3rd, 2017

Focus: Is it a calendar year or a Fiscal-year, make it a Spiritual year…

Imagine a year that is Spirit-filled, rather than the chaos of the world?

Joshua 24:15

And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Today we want to pray for our Land… America, as we have done as written in Joshua 24: 9 Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose to make war against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you.

God did not listen to Balaam, who was hired to curse Israel…10 But I would not listen to Balaam; therefore, he continued to bless you.

Commentary: America’s recent decision to be a proponent of siding against Israel and the recent statement by America’s secretary of State Kerry, we consider him to be a defacto Balaam.  But the Lord will not listen to him, just as He ignored Balaam.

For the people of Israel, the days ahead will be challenging but the Lord has said…

God’s Covenant with His people…

Deuteronomy 20:3

And he shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them;

2 Chronicles 20:15

And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

2 Chronicles 20:17  You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.” In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations.

Today as we face this New Year, let us stop and know…

Psalm 24:8

Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. In Context | Full Chapter |

Let us all…

Psalm 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

In Context | Full Chapter |

His Faithful Promise…

Psalm 23:2

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. In Context | Full Chapter |

Let us pray for our nation as America is embarking on a new direction, let us be more Christ-Centered and seek to find God’s plan for each of our selves and not to serve the agenda of this world but the agenda of our Lord.

So, we join to make this a ‘Spiritual year’ as God’s Grace is sufficient by His Holy Spirit in Jesus our Lord and Redeemer.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord we come as we ask Your Divine blessings on our country and the nation of Israel. Lord today as we face this new year we pause and know that You art God, we go in faith knowing that all things shall be done according to Your Will.  We thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your Divine Providence on us all.  To  you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday January 2nd, 2017

It's a new day in a New Year = a clean Slate, let's be guided by the Light…

As we face this New Year of 2017 since Jesus came into this world… Let us be reminded that He said He will return.  He came that we could have a ‘New-Start’ in Him.

What are the ‘New Start; that Jesus provided? Here are some of what He said He has provided…

“I came that you may have life and have it ‘more’ abundantly”

Jesus said…

Matthew 19:26

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Matthew 22:37

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

In Context | Full Chapter |

His Un-Conditional Love:

Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

The Divine Grace of our Lord Jesus as He replied to the thief on the cross at the crucifixion who asked Jesus…

“Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” Luke 23:42 In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Luke 23:43

And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” In Context | Full Chapter |

We sometimes wonder why John wrote this….

John 21:25

And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

The explanation is: The synoptic Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John covered the life of Jesus over a 33-year period.  John the disciple that Jesus chose to write down ‘all-thing’ that we read in the book of revelation, he was given clear insight of who Jesus was.  Therefore, knowing that Jesus came from the Father, and by Jesus’s declaration that He (Jesus) was at the beginning with the Father. John declared this:

John 1:3

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Context | Full Chapter |

Therefore, the events and many things that Jesus did could not be contained in a book. Imagine these things included the creation of the world, us humans and walking in the garden of Eden with Adam, and Jesus sent from God the Father 1,984 years ago, as told: Acts 1:9 Jesus Ascends to Heaven] Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Let us be aware that … This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

Acts 1:11

who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” In Context | Full Chapter |

So, let us have a great 2017 knowing that the Word of the Lord is Eternal and we shall share His Glory on that day…

Heavenly Father as we acknowledge through Jesus our Lord and Savior we are privileged to come into Your Holy Presence. Lord today we acknowledge that unless it is built by you it shall not last. Lord we also acknowledge that Your Kingdom shall never be shaken as we thank you for Your Grace knowing that the Best is Yet to Come.  We give You our Praise and go in Faith knowing that we shall see You on that day. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.
