DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Devotionals for Thursday: December 14,2017

Factoid…     Finding Peace in a world that is turning into a place of conflicts, it’s still there

Thoughts for the day… We all have heard of ‘The Greatest Story ever told’.  An all-star, large scale epic film that chronicles the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.

We wish to put this on record that it was not the greatest ‘Story’ because the ‘Virgin birth of Jesus’ was not a story…

The birth of Jesus was… THE GREATEST ‘Event’ ever to unfold.

And guest what? It is still the greatest event in history since 2017 years ago when God Emanuel came as a man. So, today we are privileged to bring His Good News of His Redemption.

Many may wonder why did Jesus had to come… it was because of one-man sin that we all are born with that blemish called ‘Sin’ (The man Adam) but through the love of God He redeemed us…

John 3;16

The Grace of God is still there, find it today.

2 Corinthians 2: 8-9

To many of our readers this message may be ‘Old stuff’ but to many around the world they are hearing of this great event and the reason why Jesus or the first time, and the reason why ‘The Christ’ came. So let us share this Good News with as many as possible.

As modern humanity discovers new technology, we need to remind our selves that the great Americans Space program after several failed attempts. It was after the secrets were revealed from the Bible, subsequently NASA was formed. Today we have advanced weapon systems, stemming from the particle beam lasers, the deployment of Laser-Cannon is still rudimentary compared to the ‘Shout! That brought down the wall of Jericho.

So, the Divine Virgin Birth has never been repeated because there is only one Messiah, and He is Jesus the King of kings and Lord of lords.

So, we boldly present Christ the King who said...

“Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory”…

Mark 13:26 In Context | Full Chapter |

Matthew 24:27

For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. In Context | Full Chapter |

So, as we draw close to Christ-MAS day, we want to reiterate the reason for Christ coming… Jesus came as a man as The Christ, and Christ came to save the Masses, therefore we have this acronym of Christmas, a day like no other day.

Scholars and many are trying to determine the exact date of Christ’s Birth, was it 2 or 4 BC tied to Herod who died in 4 BC, and thus, this could be the year Christ was born.  Nevertheless, the fact is; Christ came, and whether we mark the calendar at year zero when Jesus was born, the fact is he was born of a Virgin Birth.

So, the year 2017 marking the beginning of our calendar we accept as our contemporary calendar. And Officially we will recognize Christmas day December 25th,2017 as CHRISTMAS DAY.

The knowledge of man is finite, and God is Infinite, we think we know everything, but we are just like a little colony of ants, wait till earth shakes, then all including the atheist are all aware that ‘The God’ is in control.  Guess what? we know that God, and He is Jesus our Lord, because He has grafted us into the union of His, making us all One in Him, so there are neither Jews or Gentiles to be in His Kingdom.

If life we have on earth was all we had to look forward to, then whats the use?  You can have all the wealth, all the toys, but come that ripe old age all this will be left behind; and what?  But we know the end, as Jesus said…

Revelation 21:5

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” In Context | Full Chapter

Revelation 21:4-6 New King James Version (NKJV)

4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Jesus Paid It All…

6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

Praise The Lord:

1 Timothy 1:15 (NIV)

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners —of whom I am the worst.

The Grace and Love of our Lord

His Sovereignty, His Majesty, His Love, His Redemption….

His Omniscient… Jesus is with us always, even to the ends of the age:

Matthew 28:20  teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 (in Context) Matthew 28 (Whole Chapter) Mark 14:7

Conclusion: We can come to the Throne of Righteousness in Prayer knowing that our High Priest our Redeemer Jesus Christ intercedes for us and by His Grace we are Saved… Amen

Prayer… Lord let me be humble and by brotherly love not pre-judge anyone. Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and  capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You.  leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore; Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broaden and grant our audience that seek You Lord; safety and as Your said Lord.. ”You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

Reminder to our visitors, keep looking to our Lord to be the Author and Finisher of our Faith… God Loves You, and come to Jesus as He is our Mediator and our Sovereign God in One of His Divine Holy Trinity in His Father our Creator and His Holy Spirit. †††

Bring good news, even if you are to announce bad news, always bring hope

Text: 1 John 5:14-15 Amplified Bible (AMP)

14 And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us.

15 And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.

Commentary: The prayers of great men were mostly done in times of impending peril.  History reflected even a prayer to have good weather so that the war can be mobilized to defeat the enemy.

Life is not a bed of roses…

We saw Jacob taking the Patriarchal blessing from Esau when he deceived his father Isaac, by claiming to be Esau…  On the lighter side of life, we read about the rich man who had in his will that all his money was to be buried with him, at his funeral his attorney asked how much money it was? And he was told ‘about a million’ so the attorney wrote a check and took the cash and said; “put the check in the grave, it is good as cash” … Now this deceased person’s last wish was ‘sort of’ fulfilled, or was ‘his’ cash high-jacked?

Life is not a bed of roses, and fortunately so…. As Rose bushes are full of thorns. Now Rose petals are soft, but they only last a few days. Just like money it last only for a while, unless we have more incoming.  The only lasting thing that we can have ‘forever’ is the Grace of our Lord. Nothing else stays around. Without money one loses most of their friends, and those we lose are not friends indeed, so when it starts to rain all ‘fair-weather’ friends will go, and those that we have true-fellowship will be still around. Our Lord said… “I will never leave you nor forsake you”

The old saying… God moves in a mysterious way… To man it is mysterious, but to God it is a ‘Divine’ way.  Many instances in life when someone suffers a tragedy one would ask, where was God? When Stephen was stoned to death, why did God not save him? Stephen looked up and saw Jesus with open arms welcoming him home.  Now, would it be better for Stephen to be protected from the rocks and remained alive?  Or was it better for our Lord to receive him home and give him a place of splendor.  I can imagine, that our Lord was saying… look at those fools, they are fighting and killing each other for what? To gain what? To dominate their fellow men for what? Therefore, Jesus said… “Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing”

Talking about what is the best thing we can hope for? Did you know that many Lotto winners that won millions reverted to poverty? In fact, there is a person than won $5.2 Million and now lives in a trailer and on welfare.  What does this tell us?  Unless the Lord builds it, it will not last.

Psalm 127:1

[Laboring and Prospering with the LORD] Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.

In our daily lives, we are bombarded by the world’s distraction via, Print, electronic (TV-Internet) radio, etc. the apostle Paul in the text above was merely saying “I am a man, and I am susceptible to the temptations”.  To be tempted is not a sin, but to partake in the temptation and enter into an act of complicity is a sin.  The constant battle with the forces of temptation is not regulated to our bodies, it is our mind, so be mindful of our imaginations that we are not led astray.

Our Lord Jesus who was tempted by the devil never partook of the temptation, He overcame the wiles of the devil with the Word of God…  So, there is a way for us to deal with this universal problem which is:

Ephesians 2:8

Amplified Bible (AMP)

For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus as our Mediator we acknowledge that unless we come through You no one comes to the Father. Lord we thank You as we stand in Faith acknowledging Your Grace; and we affirm that it is only by Your Grace that we are saved and not of anything we do. Lord we thank you for Your divine redemption.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Favors as we seek You and give You first place in our lives. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our sovereign eternal God in One of the Father in Your Holy Trinity. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday: December 12, 2017

Be aware…   Never go to the head of the table, wait to be seated, your host will seat you

Luke 14:8

“When you are invited by anyone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in the best place, lest one more honorable than you be invited by him; and he who invited you and he come and say to you, ‘Give place to this man,’ and then you begin with shame to take the lowest place.

Luke 14: 7-11

10 But when you are invited, go and sit down in the lowest place, so that when he who invited you comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, go up higher.’ Then you will have glory in the presence of those who sit at the table with you. 11 For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Commentary:

God created man, while He created us He made us free-thinkers.  When we look at the trait of man, we sometimes say ‘what a clever move’?  Herod was a paranoid individual, as a king, he was also a tyrant. So, hearing of Jesus’ birth he instantly became jealous of the Threat from the new born King.  His move to kill all newborn Male children just to ‘eliminate’ Jesus. His plan was a futile move.  God was in charge and He is still in charge.

The Wisemen figured out the intent of Herod and out-smarted Herod, so he took a radical approach to commit mass murder.  Could such a person wield his power today?  Yes, there are still sovereign nations with rulers doing the same thing just to preserve their stronghold on the nation they govern.

The return of the Lord will displace them all and more, and there will be Peace.  The constant threat inflicted towards Israel will also be futile as the Lord Said…” No Weapons formed against His people will prosper”

Jesus our Messiah the Son of the Most-High came and Paid-It-All… We are privileged to receive His ‘Priceless-Gift’ of His Redemption.

This Christmas we are spreading the Good-News of His Love for us, and 2012 years ago our Lord Jesus was born in a Manger in Bethlehem, which we will call Christmas Version 1.  But Christmas Version 2 is coming, as this same Jesus will return, and His return will not be like Version 1, His coming will be seen from the East to the West. Not even the plans of another ‘Herod’ could stand in His way.

Yes, the power of our Lord has always been with Him, as He said He could have called a thousand leagues of Angels to stop the procedures of His crucifixion at Calvary, but He came to die for us, and He willingly went to the cross and Paid It-All.

Principle: The Power of our Lord is displayed in His Love for us.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

We can come to our Lord knowing…

Hebrews 4:15-16

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Conclusion:

Remember the best Gift we can give this year to anyone, especially to our children is to remind them that all the presents will be be in the trash or on the shelves, but your Love will last forever, and that the real reason why we have Christmas is because God loves us so much that He sent Jesus, The Christ.   So, Christmas will always be filled with JOY because He came to Redeem us.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus as we go through the trials and challenges of this world Lord, we look back 2017 years ago when Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem and had to settle for a stable where You were born my Lord. Lord Jesus we are humbled and humiliated to think that You our Lord had to be born in a stable. Lord if only the innkeeper knew that he was hosting a King and a Lord of lords, Lord we look up to You our Sovereign Eternal God, Your strength was covered by Your Humbleness and mankind has demonstrated our weakness by exalting ourselves while You the Most High allowed us to ultimately realize that we can do nothing and in all things, we need You Lord. Lord bless our Visitors and grant each one Your Peace and for this season of celebrating Your Coming Lord, we give You the Glory and Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday: December 11, 2017

Know this…  The Great I Am… how did God deal with those that claimed to be ‘the greatest’

First there is only One ‘Great’ “I AM” and HE is The Almighty.

Whenever a mere human claimed to be Great, he is cut down to the size of how God sees this person.

Humility and Humbleness are similar, but quite the contrary, different in stance, why? Because humbleness is an inherent trait, humility is when one is humbled by being humiliated.

Going over the edge like what the once famous boxer Cassius Clay used to say… “I am the greatest” guess what? This person lived out his life in a body as an invalid, barely able to speak and totally humbled by God.

So, becoming bold is not an offense to God, but to be self-elevated through actions that are considered conceited, and offensive, then such a stance sets up the person for a fall.

God does not want us to be an invalid, but He wants us to prosper. This is a fact, as Jesus said… He came to give us life and to give us a more abundant life.

So, in this world Jesus will give you life, and in the world to come Jesus will give you a ‘More Abundant’ life.

There are steps we must take in Life, to get your driver’s license you must go and step in front of a camera and then you will get the license, to know Christ, we must come to Him, and to receive His promise of a ‘more abundant life’ we must invite Him into our lives.

Yes, we are all sinners, but through His Grace we have His Pardon. But know this we are still sinners living under Grace, and being under grace we through His Holy Spirit will be guided to abide in Him. And when you know Him and received a Him, Jesus is our Mediator to the Father as He is now our ADVOCATE through His Divine Resurrection we have been Redeemed. Yet until that day when we are in His Holy Presence, the total Transformation will take place by Sanctification when there will be no more Sin.

So as Jesus said... be Holy for He Is Holy, avoid the temptation, keep focusing on Jesus. Lean not on your own understanding, as the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Mark 14:38 (NKJV)

38 Watch and pray, lest you enter temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

His Grace abounds…

Grace is available, but His Redemption is not received by ‘Default’ we have to come and receive it

Not because of God’s Grace and His Redemption through His Forbearance, it does not mean we should continue to ‘Willfully’ Sin. But His Word said… because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished, The Key WORD is ’Beforehand to remain unpunished’. So, one ‘Enlightened and Redeemed” let us strive to be holy, but His Grace abounds as we are still a ‘recovering sinner’

Jesus came to fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.

When He returns He will not be wearing Sandals and wearing a white robe, He will be returning as described in Ezekiel 1 in full Power 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

Why would God present His Own Son as a sacrifice of atonement and how can you express your gratitude for such great love?

Jesus bore my Sins, and Isaiah 53 said it all, by His Stripes (these are not stripe of ranks, they were from the beating Jesus suffered for me in my place. What a Savior who love me and you so much that He paid it all, even unto to death, but though His Redemption we have Victory.

Good News:

Isaiah 1:18 (NKJV) 18 “Come now, and let us reason together,”

Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow;

Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

Isaiah 61:10 New King James Version (NKJV) 10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness,

As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

EVENING: Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3 And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord today as we affirm Your Divine Grace and Your love for us all as You are calling each and everyone to come and buy gold and to buy food without money as You have provided it all. Lord we say that there is no need for gold as Your Kingdom is built with streets of gold as it is not made by human hands.  Lord we bring You our Visitors and we are encouraged by those who seek Your Good News and we are privileged to serve You. We pray in Your Holy Name as to you Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory now and forevermore…Amen.

Seek Him and… Walking in the Light… Being enlightened and receiving the Lord, His Light is instilled in you…

MORNING:

Topic: Jesus said He came that we would have life and have it more abundantly…

Commentary:

Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

Just think how Jesus would bring me great news of what he has prepared for me and to give me insight of what to come? I can imagine that the table setting would be with delicacies of fruits, nectars, fishes, meat and bread.  I can imagine how He would pray over the setting and thank His Father and then feast with me as He prepared only the best.

Yes, my Jesus is at your door and He came because He wants to give you Peace, Joy, Hope, His Love, His care and His plan for your life.

Today as we gather with friends and families, thank Him and Praise Him for His Graciousness knowing that it is only by His Grace that you are saved and journeying to His Kingdom, where He has prepared a place for you.

Jesus said…” I am not of this world” what did He mean by this statement? No need to wonder about this.  He ascended to Heaven, but He did not abandon us; He said The Holy Spirit would be with us while He went to His Father. The same Holy Spirit that descended on the day of Pentecost where 5,000 came to Jesus through Peter’s telling them the Good News, this Holy Spirit is with us right now.

Jesus said… “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them”.  Matthew 18: 20.

Jesus said we must have Faith, and Faith is a belief in something unseen, He said if we have faith like a grain of mustard seed, (which is the size of this ‘.’ dot) we can move mountains.  Jesus spoke about mountains, and these are ‘mountains’ in our lives... such as: Health, Finances, Families, Relationships and our love for others like ourselves.

Now His Grace covers a period which is the ‘Gap’ when you are saved and have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we are still sinners but under Grace, and now that you are saved, Jesus will be your Intercessor, as we now have an advocate with Jesus.  So as an enlightened sinner now redeemed, we are like a ‘recovering alcoholic’ that lives by each day to remain sober, so we as an enlightened sinner will do the same, but we have the Holy Spirit that is now with us.  Remembering that it is not what we do that saves us, it is by the ‘Grace’ of God through His Blood.

Ephesians 2:8-9

New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Principle: When you know the Lord Jesus He will give you a clean heart, and He will renew your Spirit with a clear mind.

EVENING:

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 NASB

1 John 5:14-15

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

Conclusion:

Hebrews 3:15

While it is said, “Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked Me.”

Hebrews 3:14-16 (in Context) Hebrews 3 (Whole Chapter)

John 10:10  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:9-11 (in Context) John 10 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, Ephesians 3:19-21 (in Context) Ephesians 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that 2,017 years ago when You came to earth, You came so that we will have life and have it more abundantly. Lord we thank You for Your Covenant of Grace, and it is by Your Grace that we are saved.  Lord thank You for bringing the Visitors to this site, as we are privileged to serve You and all for Your Glory Lord. Bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Peace as we thank you for Your Favors. Lord today be with us as we look to You knowing that all things work for Good to those that loves You Lord. Stop searching and start praying. Nothing is ever lost, we just don’t know where we placed it.

Focus: Why is Vintage Wine considered better? Why Aged-Beef is considered a premium product? (Enzyme)

Why Vintage Wine is better than what was made a few weeks ago? Aging is a process the makes good wine, Stradivarius found that old wood made great violins.

TEXT: John 21:18

Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.”

In Context | Full Chapter |

Focus:    Our mind should not get worn-out, but our bodies may.  The adage of getting older and wiser should be true and we all should have a pristine mind. Our mind will be part of us when we make that ultimate journey. But man’s mind had an inherent flaw… this is what we inherited…Sin.

Genetically we all have a heredity trace of certain carrier that carries on the family’s susceptibility to cancer, Alzheimer or some dreadful decease.  But we needn’t worry as each of us are known to our Creator, and He alone will determine our future.

(These are the Word of Jesus)

John 21:18

Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.”

In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus said… Matthew 18:3

and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Devotional:

Lord Jesus as we read Your Word of assurance we thank You for Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us… Therefore, Lord for those that are having their loved ones being challenged Your assurance that all must come to You as a little-child, and we say Lord that that are with dementia are reverting to be a child and as said, they will stretch out their hands and another will carry them where they do not wish, as their actions are like a child.  Lord bless those who are care-givers and let the burden be lightened as they come to this message knowing that the best is yet to come, as you have provided a place of splendor for us all.

Stop searching, make these your goals…

Coming to the Lord:

  1. The gospel Provides the hope in Christ Be patient and determined to receive his holy spirit
Be compassionate to all Be truthful and loving the main goal is the future in Christ

  1. Goals: Paul was a practicing Pharisee, but he came to Christ as Christ chose him to be His vessel

  2. Principle of ’I shall decrease, and He must increase in life' prevail
that I might know Jesus and proclaim Him to all to be intimately connected to Christ; Jesus to be pre-eminent in my life; To put Him first

  1. Philippian 3: 12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

EVENING

This is Jesus' own example to have a prize a 'core' we cannot build without the core
Nothing compares with Christ as all other is garbage
By sharing my life with Christ I will become more like Christ
We must share in Christ's sufferings and in his victory

Because Christ has made me his own. Not only will you find Jesus, but He will find you when you come to Him.

Philippians 3:16   Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.

We are to attain a closer walk with Christ by giving him first place in my life:
By focusing on what I can do for His Glory and let Him work in me for His glory being the righteousness of God. To focus on him and. Grow in him;
‘Focus on Jesus not on myself’
Change from work to Grace by faith, there’s no substitute for our savior

Approach every day by making Christ preeminent in our lives

Have a zeal to serve Him, when we can say… I have found a friend in Christ, knowing that…

Ephesians 2: 8-9 is by His Grace…For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord thank You for Your Grace, Your Divine Redemption, and Your Unconditional love.  Lord we praise You and give You first place in all as we yield to You and seek a closer walk with You. Jesus Messiah, we thank You for being our Intercessor as we are presented to the Father by Your Righteousness and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved.  Lord let Your Holy Spirit be indwelling in us as we go in Faith.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your favors. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday:  December 8, 2017

Consider this…. The real meaning of Praise songs, some songs that are like ‘infomercials’ as they do not Praise Him…

Today we have ‘Praise’ songs that address the Lord in a ‘Third-party’ inferences.  An example of this is… ‘My God is mighty.  So, we sing praises as informercials and not to Praise Him.   By inserting ‘You” my God this is now addressing the Lord.

wonder when we get to heaven if any of these ‘infomercial’ type of lyrics will be used.  Because now we are in the presence of the Lord, and it would be improper to say…’my’ God, as this is like ignoring His presence.  So, the words would have to say. .’You my God’.

Maybe this is being a little picky, but without the ‘You’ we are not addressing him, but only telling others, which is not bad, but it is an infomercial. To Praise Him we need to address Him.

Even when we are here on earth, signing a Praise is to Him as He is present when we gather with others.

Matthew 18:20 [Full Chapter] Good News Translation

For where two or three come together in my name, I am there with them.”

The Preeminence of Christ…Colossians 1: 15- 23 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Reconciled in Christ

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

His Faithfulness:  Today as we gather to worship our Lord we stand reconciled because of His Faithfulness.

EVENING:

What a ‘privilege’ to be represented by Jesus our Lord to the Father…21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—

Conclusion:

The Text above said… to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— ‘In His sight’ means in the presence of the Father.  Once more we want to mention that Jesus is not a ‘third-party’ in our prayer.  Jesus said…

No one comes to the Father without Him…. So, when we pray He is in our Midst. There are no One to One Prayers, all prayers are made to God the Father in the Trinity.  Jesus is ‘One’ with the Father as God in the Trinity.  Jesus is our Triune God of Father Son and Holy Spirit. Therefore, what a ‘privilege’ to be represented by Jesus our Lord to the Father

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. We thank You for presenting us by Your Righteousness to the Father.  Lord today as we share the Good News Lord let our Visitors be Divinely blessed by Your Grace as we go in Faith. Lord thank You for Your eternal promise of never leaving us nor forsaking us.  We declare You our Redeemer as our Eternal Sovereign God Lord Jesus in the Father Son and Holy Spirit, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

The Reward being brought by the Lord on His return is not a sleigh full of gifts, it’s going to be Heavenly…

Today is the day declared that would live in infamy… “December 7, 1941 – a date,” President Franklin D. Roosevelt famously proclaimed, “which will live in infamy.”

While history has proved that out of such tragedy, good will over come evil.  Today…  “Japan is our most trusted ally in the Pacific region…  a US State department statement.

As we are in the season of Advent, Christ came and His impact on us all made a difference to all humanity.

Jesus came as a man, Died and His Triumphant Resurrection changed many people of the world forever. He left here as a Triumphant Messiah, and He is on the Throne of Righteousness.

TEXT: Hebrews 2:17

For this reason, he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.

Hebrews 2:16-18 (in Context) Hebrews 2 (Whole Chapter)

Revelation 22:12

Commentary: How would you like everyone to deal with you? To be sincere, honest, truthful, and loyal and be respectful, these are the qualities we would seek in a relationship. And in fact, these would be the criteria of hiring a new employee.

Our Creator endowed us with ‘Free-Will’ and gave us ‘Freedom of choice’. In addition to the qualities of; Sincerity, honesty, loyalty and be respectful… the ‘key’ word is: Forgive, and the overriding factor is ‘Love’

Do you think that God allowing us to have ‘Free-will’ was too trusting of humans?  As said, the true-test of man is in dealing with success.  King David went through a phase when he abused his success by putting the husband of Bathsheba to the frontline to be killed. Saul abused his monarchy that made God removed the anointing.  So, gaining the Providence of our Lord comes with great responsibility.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:9-11 (in Context) 1 Peter 4 (Whole Chapter)

As the Text above instructs us to be faithful stewards of God’s Grace, let us be aware that God’s Grace come in various forms.  Thank our Lord today for His Faithfulness in granting you:

  • Health
  • Wealth
  • Wisdom
  • Love for others

While we all wished each other; A Prosperous New year’ let the wish be filled with brotherly love, as Love is mention 533 times in the New King James Bible. Love knows no boundaries…

“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.

Luke 6:31-33 (in Context) Luke 6 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

Luke 6:34-36 (in Context) Luke 6 (Whole Chapter)

Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love.

2 John 1:2-4

And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another.

2 John 1:4-6 (in Context) 2 John 1 (Whole Chapter)

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. 2 John 1:5-7 (in Context)

We are saved by Grace...
Ephesians 2:8-9

For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God'sgift, so that no one can boast about it. In Context | Full Chapter |

His Promise / His Faithfulness:  We are one of Christ’s, why? We were purchased at a price… by His Blood, He made us a Royal Priesthood,   1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord today as we draw closer to that day of Advent…Christmas, we seek Your Divine Grace and Your Providence with the knowledge that we must be good stewards of Your Grace. Lord thank You for our Visitors and be with each of us as we look to You knowing that Your Faithfulness abounds in our lives. Lord let our endeavors be realized for Your Glory. Devotionals for Wednesday:  December 6, 2017

Know this…  The Lord will provide all your needs, not what you ‘want’ He will give only if needed, because He knows…

Not only will our Lord provide all our needs, but He knows when to have it delivered.  It won’t be before the time, but it will be ‘Just-in-Time’ … Because he wrote the master plan of timing.

The greatest example of ‘On-Time delivery’ was the event of the journey to Canaan.  Precisely on time God would drop the Manna from heaven.  While this was an ‘Organic’ pure and divinely prepared meal. Over a time, the Israelites became complacent and ungrateful.

So, while our Lord has met your needs today, let use take a lesson from the event of becoming ungrateful.  If you are still waiting for the Lord’s provision, be patient, He will have it delivered at the right time.  Maybe, why is it late in coming according to your time, if you should receive it, you may use it for the wrong reason.

The scripture verse that applies to this is taken from…

Proverbs 3:5 [Full Chapter] [New American Standard Bible] NASB

Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.

The mercies of the Lord are beyond comprehension… it transcends our ability to think that He could love us so much…

"Our God, Our Help in Ages Past"
by Isaac Watts, 1674-1748

1. Our God, our Help in ages past,
Our Hope for years to come,
Our Shelter from the stormy blast,
And our eternal Home!

2. Under the shadow of Thy throne
Thy saints have dwelt secure;
Sufficient is Thine arm alone,
And our defense is sure.

The Lord loves us so much that He came to redeem us… why did we have to be redeemed? Because we are all sinners…

John 9:31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.

Mark 10:15

Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

Commentary

Why did He come to Redeem us?

By one-man Sin entered the world, our Creator was not surprised by Adam & Eve of their falling for the serpent’s temptation.

Genesis 2: 15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

This is the reason why He came to Redeem us… Because He said, “you will certainly die”, He decreed this…  All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation." –

II Corinthians 5:18-19

Romans 5:12  [Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ ] Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned— Romans 5:11-13 (in Context) Romans 5 (Whole Chapter)

We who are believers need to do our part as the commission of our Lord was to proclaim His message of; Good News that He Rose Triumphantly and HE is alive on the Throne of Righteousness and He is waiting to receive those that come to Him for His Redemption.

Coming to our Lord:

To know Christ… Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer:  Prayer: Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus as we come just as we are, Lord we thank You for Your Saving Grace. Lord we give You the Glory and we are privileged to serve You Lord for Your Glory. Lord bless our Visitors and grant Your Peace upon us all, as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You be the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

It is well with my soul… written by Horatio G. Spafford  while sailing over the site where his four daughters died in a ship wreck.  As the words said…

It is well With my soul

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul

My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, o my soul.

Be ready…          Stand firm fully armored as the evil one works harder as we all move closer to the Lord.

God’s Army…

You’re in the Army now… Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Paul and many others were the nucleus of God’s army. We need an army to counter the evil one. Let no one tell you that we can take it easy, why? Because the devil is on the prowl seeking to devour those that he can. This not a myth, the need to be armed with the Word and be suited in the armor of our Lord to thwart the fiery arrows of the evil one is a constant battle.

Acts 4:12

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Acts 4:11-13 (in Context) Acts 4 (Whole Chapter)

The Armor of God EPHESIANS 6:
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

 Verse 14:

  • Stand firm then, with:
  • the belt of truth buckled around your waist,
  • with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
  • 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this,
  • Take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
  • 17 Take the helmet of salvation
  • And the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

These all-powerful components in these six pieces or armaments are:

  1. TRUTH:
  2. RIGHTEOUSNESS
  3. FAITH
  4. SALVATION
  5. PEACE
  6. THE HOLY SPIRIT

Imagine with these four pieces of HIS Weapon, we are more powerful that the most advance weapon system made by man. We will be Powered by Truth, Shielded from any attack, Shielded and be invisible to the enemy, and be able to fire the most advanced weapon which is a HIS WORD, a flameless Divine Laser that is Super-Natural, powered by HIS HOLY SPIRIT.

Now with this Suit of Armor I am ready for battle and can take on the world at large and defend myself and expound the Power of my Majestic God empowered by His Son Jesus that marked me with His SEAL of HIS Blood of Atonement and by His Blood, I am Invincible and in Victory I shall live and in Victory I shall Proclaim Him as HE our Majestic King Jesus Messiah is coming and; with Power and Glory He shall return seen from the East to the West, not riding on a donkey as He did when He made His Triumphant entry on Palm Sunday, but the Clouds will implode and in a Flash He will appear.

Yes, I am ready Lord, and am Armed and by Your Grace I can do all Things in You Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior…

Directions of how to be accepted, Trained and be Equipped…

Come to our Lord Jesus and asked to be Saved by His Grace, Confess that you are a Sinner, as we are all sinners, and He will forgive you. Ask that His Holy Spirit be in you, as all Believers are made a ‘New Creation’ and the Power of God will resonate through you as you will experience His Gift of Life. Devotionals for Monday: December 4, 2017

Note…  Accept the blame even if it is falsely imposed, forgive the person blaming, because he may be the guilty one.

The guilty one oftentimes seeks out someone else to blame for their shortcoming. Not to be judgmental here, but there are many instances in life that the guilty one will blame it on someone else.

Way back, and this is the first case of passing the buck, Adam said to God... Genesis 3:12

Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”

In Context | Full Chapter

The Lord did forgive them, and as we see, the first act of God’s mercies…

God made coats of skins from a slain animal.

Genesis 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

In Context | Full Chapter |

The Bible did not specify the type of animal killed for the skins.  The order from God to Moses was to have the Israelites kill n unblemished Lamb and us the blood to mark the Doors of their houses so that the angel of death would Passover the Israelites, and so, will this be for the second and final ‘Passover’ known as the ‘Day of the Lord’

Exodus 12:27

That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the Lord's Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses.

So, gird yourself …

Exodus 12:11

And thus, shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord's Passover. In Context | Full Chapter |

So, stand firm while being blamed for someone else’ mistakes. Just render forgiveness and extend the love of the Lord…

We can blame ourselves for more mistakes than anyone blaming us.  So, as we say…’if only we could turn back time’ things would be a whole lot better.

Today we can rely on this true saying…

Proverbs 3:5-6 [Full Chapter] TLB

If you want favor with both God and man, and a reputation for good judgment and common sense, then trust the Lord completely; don’t ever trust yourself. In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.

So. Take note…  Psalm 118:8

It is better to trust the Lord than to put confidence in men. In Context | Full Chapter |

Forgiveness is difficult
Everyone say forgiveness is a good idea until they have something to forgive
The strength to forgive

the source of forgiveness is from faith
So we must increase our faith.

Faith is one of the most enigmatic intangible actions, but it is the key to Power from our Lord.

Faith, Hope, Trust, & Grace are not commonly used word in
Legal documents, these are aligned to the Heavenly realms.

Faith in our Lord is the source of our Power from Him
The power of our Supreme God who spoke the world into Existence can change anything in our lives.

Just ask Jesus to change the abominable things in our lives…

1.  we must make a decision
2. Must understand the need & urgency to give forgiveness
3. You cannot come to Christ unless we have forgiven all
4. You must uproot the barrier to truly forgive others
5. Forgiveness is paying a debt of someone that incurred a debt
6. Forgiveness is to forgive & to forget

Forgiveness is only real when it is rendered with sincerity Attitude is what makes up sincerity, forgiveness without repentance is false, Love & Forgiveness is the cornerstone of faith.

Heavenly Father today through Jesus our Mediator we come.  Lord Jesus we seek forgiveness as we forgive all who trespass against us.  Lord remembering that You forgive and remove our sins as far as the east is from the west and You remember it no more. Lord we thank You for Your Graciousness and by Your Divine Grace we are saved.  Lord bless our Visitors as we thank You for Your Providence upon us all, and in Your Holy Name we pray Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:  December 3rd, 2017

Today and everyday,  Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Text:  John 14:26 (NASB)

26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Commentary:

A book ( Do you sincerely want to be Rich?)  written by an infamous investor that created what he called the Funds of Funds, which was a forerunner to the now standard Mutual Funds investment platform.  This innovator made a lot of money riding on the backs of the most successful Wall Street firms, with some degree of safety due to his formula his method irked the Wall Street power base and the SEC stepped in and drove him off-shore.  In a desperate move to survive, the founder brought in a ‘trusted’ individual that swindled the entity. This individual  was supposed to be the ‘White-Knight’ came to ‘Raid’ instead to rescue. The Rescuer fled to Cuba after gaining control of the assets, he eventually died in Havana... (The Rescuer became a famous Fugitive)

This is a fine example of…

“What does it profit a man if he gained the whole world but lost his soul?”

The answer to the topic above is Yes… Yes! we can be Rich, in Christ! Riches are not defined by the temporary things we see, it is determined by God in His Economy of Scale, He said …

Luke 19:17  (NKJV)

17 And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’

Our Gracious Savior Jesus… Messiah, said:  2”But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you” John 14:26.

What did Jesus mean? He will send His Divine Helper, His Holy Spirit that will be our Guide us.  What a privilege that Jesus promised and delivered to those that sought Him, this is the POWER from Him, and not something we can buy nor download from Google® It is only available through Jesus.  Our Lord made a lot of statement that are meaningless to us mere mortals, remember:

1 Corinthians 1:25
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

These statements include:

FAITH

REDEMPTION

GRACE

SANCTIFIED

The applications of the above words mostly apply to the Heavenly Realms.  Jesus our Lord and Savior gave us His secret to Success.  What is this Secret?  He revealed this to us in…

 Matthew 6:33-34

33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Not only was our Lord Jesus giving us the secret to a successful life in HIM, but he also went on to reveal a life of Joy and even some leisure time, as He said, “do not worry about tomorrow”

In the Book of Exodus it states…Exodus 20:3
“ You shall have no other gods before Me.

What does the book of Exodus have to do with us today?  During the Exodus the Israelites were fleeing Egypt to the Promised Land, today we are doing the same, but is not just Egypt, it is the world that has become more vile than the Pharaoh, as almost all are virtually ‘enslaved’ to high interest Credit Cards, Mortgages, Automobile Loans, or debt owed to man.

His Promise:

The Greatest of all Gifts we can ever receive is His Priceless GIFT.  John 3: 16 is a Bible verse taught to us as a child, and this short narrative is the Whole Gospel of Christ’s Redemption for us all.

John 3:16 (NASB)

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and savior. In Your Name Lord Jesus, Amen.

Do not look for any ‘New’ Doctrine… all of what we need to know or will ever need are already contained in the Holy Bible. There is no need to add or modify the Word of God.

We cannot trust in ‘Hard work, ’ fame, wealth, physical appearances and worst of all Pride all these can be gone in an instant. Only what’s done in Christ will Last.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and savior we come. Lord Jesus You are on the Throne of Righteousness, and by Your intercession for us all, we seek Your divine Blessings and Guidance.  Lord grant us Your Peace and Your Favors to all including our Visitors as it is for Your Glory.  Lord by Your Power release those from the burdens of this world as You Lord Jesus is Preeminent. Lord let us use this day for Your Glory as we open our hearts to You and receive Your Divine Grace. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

This is the Season of Advent…

As we celebrate the coming of Jesus 2017 years ago. Emanuel meaning God with us, Jesus Christ;  and as we celebrate Christ-Mas meaning Christ came for the masses.

Here’s the real News, “Christ died to save sinners’ and He is willing to save you today.

A few days ago we wrote about…

You may say… “why do I need to be saved” I am a good person, I never stole anything, I have been faithful to wife and family, I am active in many clubs servicing my fellow humans. We will refer to this person as the ‘Self-Righteous one’.

Here the News…Romans 5:17

For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man…

Explanation… That ‘One’ man was Adam.

Now the real News; God sent His Son Jesus…

how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! In Context | Full Chapter |

and, the Good News…

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

We are not judging anyone, but today we can unswervingly say; God sees us from the inside out.

Remember if we are perfect, then Christ would not have to come… and if we say we are without sin, then we are making Him out to be a liar.

1 John 1:10

If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. In Context | Full Chapter |

When we know that Light cannot coexist with darkness, we must know that we are the Light through Jesus as we are enlightened and in us dwell His Eternal Light.

John 8:12 [Full Chapter]

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Matthew 5:14

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. In Context | Full Chapter

Commentary:

One of the first creation… God said…” Let there be light and there was Light” but He did not yet created the Sun, there was a diffusion of Light in a Gaseous form, but God declared let there be Light and then He said it was Good…

If the Sun was not yet created what was the source of this Light?  We must first look at John 1. In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus/Yeshua appeared on day-one…

Now we see the Light that God Declared... ”Let there be Light” This will be revealed as we go to chapter 9…There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Colossians 1: The Incomparable Christ

13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

Prayer:

Father we come today in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that You are the Light of the World, and that on the first day, as our Creator said…”Let there be light” and there was light, Lord we also read that our Creator did not create the Sun until the fourth day, so therefore Lord, it was Your Divine Radiance that illuminated the darkness. Lord we thank you for Your Love and we are privileged to serve You knowing that You are the same yesterday and forever. Lord bless our Visitors to this Website, grant Your Favors to all Lord, as we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen

       Is ‘Wormwood’ on its way?

News item…

ALEX SUNDBY CBS NEWS November 28, 2017, 1:37 PM

Asteroid expected to make closest pass by Earth in over 40 years

Last Updated Nov 29, 2017 12:26 PM EST

A large flying object expected in December has caught NASA's attention, but it isn't Santa Claus' sleigh.

Instead, an asteroid called 3200 Phaethon is projected to come close enough to Earth that it's been classified as "potentially hazardous" by the International Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Center.

The asteroid has a diameter of about 3 miles, according to NASA, making it the third-largest "potentially hazardous" asteroid to pass by Earth.

NASA expects Phaethon to be the closest to Earth on Dec. 16, when it's projected to be more than 6.4 million miles away. That's about 27 times the average distance between Earth and the moon, which is 238,855 miles.

It will be the closest this asteroid has been to Earth since Dec. 16, 1974, when it was just over 5 million miles away, according to NASA. But humans weren't aware of its presence until later; the asteroid was first discovered in 1983.

While the "potentially hazardous" classification may sound alarming, CBS News space consultant Bill Harwood said there's really no reason to worry about this asteroid hitting Earth.

Revelation 8:11 [Full Chapter]

The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.

Do not fear… we know the end, and we win.

1 Corinthians 15:52

in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

There will be the ‘gathering’ of His elect, as the Bible also said those in Christ will be caught up in the clouds… 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

How will this be? Because when you know Christ and as Jesus said…Born-Again, you are now accepted into His Kingdom…

Romans 8: 1-3 describes this…Romans 8:1-3 Good News Translation (GNT)

Life in the Spirit

There is no condemnation now for those who live in union with Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit, which brings us life in union with Christ Jesus, has set me free from the law of sin and death. What the Law could not do, because human nature was weak, God did. He condemned sin in human nature by sending his own Son, who came with a nature like our sinful nature, to do away with sin.

Praise our Lord Jesus for His Unconditional love and by His Blood of Atonement we are saved by His Grace. Ephesians 2:8-9

Good News Translation (GNT)

8-9 For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it.

Devotion:

John 1:12-13 New King James Version (NKJV) 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Romans 8:1-2 (NKJV)

Free from Indwelling Sin

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Principle: Separation of ‘Church’ and State is like boarding the Titanic and ignoring safety, or more like driving without brakes…

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus we come, Lord today our dependence is on You Lord, and Your empowerment reaches far above the powers of mankind.  Let us comprehend the real meaning of being made ‘Joint-Heirs’ in You Lord as You have endowed us with Riches far greater than the kingdoms of this world as You said not even Solomon had the beauty of Your Grace. Lord we thank You and Praise You and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Thursday:  November 30, 2017

Even now!  It’s not too late to know Him… Enter your name here, Yes, Lord I am here, save me.

You may say… “why do I need to be saved” I am a good person, I never stole anything, I have been faithful to wife and family, I am active in many clubs servicing my fellow humans. We will refer to this person as the ‘Self-Righteous one’.

Now, for a person like who we just described above, he really doesn’t need much help if he plans to remain here on earth forever.  But remaining here on earth till the end of time is not too secure a place, as the above person will just be buried in a box and laid in death. Now for Christians, they are ‘Laid to Rest’ as they are awaiting the return of the Lord, but their Soul is absent from the body and present with the Lord.  The Self-Righteous One never is in his final place, but his soul will also transition to a permanent place.

But, know this… There’s only one way to a Kingdom other than the place called hell. And there’s only one Mediator that can present you to His Father, and He intercedes for us by His Righteousness and His Divine Grace.  Again, we ask… So why do I have to come to Christ? Because the self-righteous one would much prefer to be reunited with his loved ones in that Kingdom other than Hell.

You may say… I am now confused, remember I never stole, I have been faithful, I am honest, and I live a clean life. Yes, all this is good but not good enough’ because we all are born with that blemish called Sin.  How is that?

Romans 5:17

For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! In Context | Full Chapter |

So, I was created by a God, a God who is Merciful and He is kind, so why would I an individual that never asked to be born or chose my parents need to seek forgiveness for a sin I never had a part of.  Yes, you did have a part of the original sin.

What is that original Sin? God did instruct Adam and Eve as follows:

Genesis 3:3

but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ In Context | Full Chapter |

They did break His command, and the above text refers to ‘you will die’ and this is referring to the ‘second’ death.

So, Mr. Self-Righteous will die a second death, without Christ.  And the reason is within each of us there is that inherent mark of sin.  This sis is not a superficial idea imposed on Adam’s offspring, it was an emblazed Word that made all following Adam to be sinners…  but by the Grace of God, He sent His Son Jesus…

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 3:17

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

In Context | Full Chapter

So, when the Text above said… ‘for God so loved the world’ it is meant to say that For God so loved ‘Us’ who are in the world.  Because on the ‘Day of the Lord’ Earth and all in this world will be left ‘Bare’ a barren place just like the planet Mars.

So, there’s no ‘Self-Righteous’ one because is there were then Christ would have died in vain. And we cannot go to the Father without Jesus as our Redeemer. And as said… that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No, one comes to the Father except through me.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign eternal God in One of the Father in Your Holy Trinity, Lord bless this day as we look to You in Faith and thank You for the visitors coming to this Good News site for Your Glory. Lord Jesus in Your Name we have Victory. Devotionals for Wednesday:  November 29, 2017

God is never too busy, or too distinguished to hear us, our Lord Jesus who is God is forever faithful

Have you ever forgotten to return a call because the person was not one of your close friends or business associates? Was it because you were too busy, travelling or simply considered that it was not a priority to speak with that person?  that missed call could be a very important call to the person at the other end.

Even when you accepted the call be a good listener…  as the person calling may need help. I had such a call that was a call for help. This is a very poignant situation that touches my heart whenever I reflect on that occasion as the caller died a few days after he called.

We must remember that God uses ordinary people for His missions…

Text: Nahum 1:3 (NKJV)

3 The Lord is slow to anger and great in power,

And will not at all acquit the wicked.

The Lord has His way

In the whirlwind and in the storm,

And the clouds are the dust of His feet.

Commentary:  Nahum wrote his vision around 612 BC and his warning was to the Syrians and to the Tribe of Judah… So, we see back 612 years before the Birth of Christ, the Syrians were described as brutally cruel, known as Nineveh. This is where God sent Jonah.  Now we see why Jonah tried to hide and runaway from God by not going to Nineveh.  Today Syria is the biggest news of its civil war.

Let’s take a brief look at the life of Joseph, here was a young man sold into slavery, but his new master was the chief administrator of the Pharaoh’s kingdom, He was falsely accused by his bosses’ wife, put in prison, released from prison and became the number one administrator of Pharaoh’s kingdom, saved the nation from a major famine, his brothers who sold him came to buy grains and he gave them the grains and then had the permission of his boss to bring his father and brothers to live in a land of plenty.

Does this sound familiar? Is Joseph’s life similar to our Lord?  Joseph’s Coat of many colors was taken from him, he suffered under the hands of men when he was innocent, but he was triumphant in the end.  Think of the similarities in Jesus’ life. So, we may say Joseph was a fore-runner to our Lord Jesus. The difference is that instead of a family with brothers that he saved, Jesus came to save the world, and His Salvation is not to the land of Goshen, but to an everlasting place of Splendor. Jesus did not have a dream, Jesus had a plan, and His plan as revealed in the Gospel which is the Good News of His Redemption through His Divine Resurrection which is what we proclaim here today.

Principle:  We cannot purchase one of the place that our Lord is preparing, it is only received by a Grant, a Grant from God through His Son Jesus our Redeemer.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Ephesians 1:7 (NIV)

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

Conclusion: God’s Providence is paramount to all of what this world can offer. Because what this world offers are all temporary. We may have some fulfillment when we get that new car, but in a few years, it will be ready to be considered a means of transportation that we must start looking to replace. All our fine clothes, shoes, etc. will need replacing. Nothing last forever, only the love of our Sovereign God. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

What Jesus said… “I will never leave you nor forsake you” this is a statement that will be forever…

Therefore, we can focus at: Titus 2:13-14 (NIV)

13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

Action/Coming to our Lord:   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God… Romans 8:14 NKJV

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus Lord Jesus we thank You for the to bring Your Good News to many in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus.  Lord let your servants be equipped and Lord let us go that extra mile to reach as many for You my Lord as You said to go to the ends of the Earth and to Proclaim You as our Lord and Redeemer, Lord Jesus we Praise You and thank You for our Visitors and this privilege. Lord Jesus bless our Visitors and let what we do be a blessing to them as we ask Your favors upon us all.  We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Imagine a King who knows you and me by name…

In the USA we do not have a sovereign king, in the UK, Spain and many sovereign countries have monarchy.

Yes, we however do have a Sovereign King who is King of all kings, and Lord of all lords. And He is Jesus ‘The’ Christ.

Known as Jesus Christ, many may not be aware that Christ was not Jesus’ family name.  ‘The Christ’ means God’s Anointed Holy One. Jesus-Yeshua chosen from day-one of the Creation.  Jesus came, as God said… “Let there be Light” and there was Light.  Jesus is the light of this world and the world to come, and more so, He is the Light of our souls.

So, affirming that Christ came to save the masses, and masses means you and me. Meaning of… mass·es

‘To gather or be gathered into a mass’.

We are still in ‘exile’ in a land that is no different from the Israel described by Isaiah… Read the entire chapter here: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah+5&version=NIV

Devotionals for Monday November 27th, 2017

How underserving, yet…His Grace abounds. His Love, and His Providence He also gave…

knock, knock...

‘I am from the Government and I am here to help you’… how does this offer stack up to the offer from our Lord Jesus?

Text:  Matthew 11:28-29 New International Version (NIV)

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Commentary: Offer number one may be valid, but the extent of help will be temporary, the offer from Jesus is a ‘permanent’ solution…In life we can be enabled by an enabler or be empowered by the source of Power.

Who is this source of power?  Answer…  Of God.

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

(We presented the Text in both the NIV & the NKJV)

Notice the text above speaks in past tense, this means The Spirit of God is already ‘given’ and it gives us Power!  Did you receive yours? Sometime ago we spoke of ‘Unclaimed benefits ‘. Today’s message is not a ‘prosperity’ theme; it is a message of Christ’s Grace.

God does not want His people to be under-served, so why is some not receiving the answers to prayers?  James 4:3

When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. James 4:2-4 (in Context) James 4 (Whole Chapter)

700+- Years before the Birth of Christ, Isaiah the prophet to whom God revealed His assurance…

When you pass through the waters,
    I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
    you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2 New International Version (NIV)

Today 2017 years later, the same assurance is endowed to us… So, we can thank our Faithful Lord and Savior Jesus because He is the same yesterday, today and forever.  How do we know this? Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:7-9 (in Context) Hebrews 13 (Whole Chapter)

Principle: 1 Peter 1:25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:24-25 (in Context) 1 Peter 1 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise / His Faithfulness:  2 John 1:2 because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever: 2 John 1:1-3 (in Context) 2 John 1 (Whole Chapter)

Action/Coming to our Lord: John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:16-18 (in Context) John 1 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:  If you are travelling on a country road and the signage is inadequate with no road maps, it is a challenge to find your destination.  Driving for 6 hours from Germany to Geneva Switzerland and arriving at 4 AM, I was unfamiliar with the city, I saw a police station and asked directions, the officer said…” follow me” he turned on his flasher and led me to my hotel. I was very grateful after the long drive.  Today we are travelling on a journey to where?  The destination we all seek is a place of splendor that we believers are looking at our journey’s end. Our Lord is standing by to ‘guide’ us home.  This is what our Lord Jesus said, and His Word is forever.

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

a Graceful day awaits you today… Praise the Lord and thank Him

John 20:27-29

27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”(A)

28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed;(B) blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Matthew 11:28  TLB

Come to me and I will give you rest—all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. Wear my yoke—for it fits perfectly—and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens.”

Do not use the Ministry or the Gospel for monetary gains nor worldly prominence.  We see Simon the sorcerer tried to ‘buy’ the power of the Holy Spirit… read more;

Acts 8:18-20 Living Bible (TLB)

18 When Simon saw this—that the Holy Spirit was given when the apostles placed their hands upon people’s heads—he offered money to buy this power.

19 “Let me have this power too,” he exclaimed, “so that when I lay my hands-on people, they will receive the Holy Spirit!”

20 But Peter replied, “Your money perishes with you for thinking God’s gift can be bought!

Today the Grace of our Lord Jesus awaits us all, as we come to Him knowing that all good things are from Him, and all things work together for the Good of those who loves Him.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. In Context | Full Chapter |

We are not ‘forgotten’… God is only giving us the privilege of coming to Him, He loves us, so He is allowing us to ‘know’ Him.

Focus:  Scoffers will say… for eons I have heard about the return of Jesus, where is he?   As we address this we will reflect on Jesus telling Phillip that he saw him under the fig-tree before he came to meet him. Just as when Jesus saw Phillip on that day, He is seeing us today as His Power and Glory remain the same… Jesus Christ the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever…

John 1:48

Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 1:50

Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Remember Nathanael was a Scoffer… John 1: Philip and Nathanael

43 The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, “Follow Me.”44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

46 And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”

Philip said to him, “Come and see.”

47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”

48 Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

49 Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

50 Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter[j] you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

The above is an example of the patience of our Lord, and because of His Majestic-Glory He did not need to expose His

“Power” He expressed His ‘LOVE”.  But this same Christ who is God Incarnate will also be a God of a Consuming Fire on that day.  But in Christ we have His Covenant and in Him there is no condemnation those He has made Joint-Heirs.

Prayer: Lord we look up to You our Sovereign Eternal God, Your strength was covered by Your Humbleness and mankind has demonstrated our weakness by exalting ourselves while You the Most High allowed us to ultimately be realized that we can do nothing and in all things, we need You Lord. Lord we thank You for the many blessings and we come giving You our Praises. Lord bless our Visitors and grant each one Your Peace and for this season of celebrating Your Coming Lord, we give You the Glory and Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday:  November 25, 2017

Nothing held-back in defense of the Gospel… No compromise, going by Faith & Grace.

We spoke of…’Can we change the course of our lives?’  The answer is…

For Saul, who became Paul, he did not change the course of his life, Jesus made the Divine change.

Nothing is held back when you are chosen by God.

And no compromise will be made.  Paul chosen as God’s vessel to bring the Good News of the Gospel to Jews and Gentiles. Paul wrote to:  Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Colossians, Philippians, Philemon, and 1 Thessalonians. These Books plus three Pastoral letters written by Paul, while imprisoned.

(Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon) Yet, he did not co0mpromize his conviction of his belief in Jesus and continued to expound the love of Christ.

Paul’s teaching…

Colossians 2:11-15  (NKJV)

Not Legalism but Christ

11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Romans 6  (NKJV)

Dead to Sin, Alive to God

6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

From Slaves of Sin to Slaves of God

15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. 18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Commentary:

Romans Re-Affirmed the Everlasting Love of Christ, and His GRACE is all I have. And to Abide in Him knowing that my Redeemer Lives, and I shall see Him on that day.

Darkness and Light cannot co-mingle.  The law of God’s Spirituality in some ways are relative to the laws of Physic.  Water and Fire cannot co-exit. So, being alive cannot co-exist with death, be alive in Christ, and stop placing Him back on the cross when we sin.

Principle:  REIGN OF GRACE CONQUERED DEATH.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father by Your Grace through Jesus our Lord and savior, we thank You and Lord Jesus our Messiah We Praise You and seek Your Divine Blessing on our Visitors and us all. Thank You Lord for Your Providence and Your Redeeming Power, in Your Holy Name we pray, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Yesterday America celebrated Thanksgiving Day.  And to many this day is a day of missing loved ones, but those in Christ have the Inner-Peace from the Lord.

So, those absent from your earthly gather, believers know they are in the presence of the Lord…

Devotionals for Thursday:   Thanksgiving Day November 23, 2017

The Future is ‘Now’… What? Yes… While today may not look like there’s much to be thankful for, because your plan did not come together as you expected.  Remember God’s plan is what counts. So, while proceeding in faith, just trust Him and all things will be more than fine.

So, as America celebrates Thanksgiving Day, it is a day that is set aside for a national event.  Our daily prayers of thanking the Lord is more than a ritualistic motion, it should be a experientially event, as our Lord provides all of our needs.

Be at the Table of Grace, stay away from the table of greed… God loves you so give Him thanks and Praise Him...

TEXT: John 6:25-27 Good News Translation (GNT)

Jesus the Bread of Life

25 When the people found Jesus on the other side of the lake, they said to him, “Teacher, when did you get here?”

26 Jesus answered, “I am telling you the truth: you are looking for me because you ate the bread and had all you wanted, not because you understood my miracles. 27 Do not work for food that spoils; instead, work for the food that lasts for eternal life. This is the food which the Son of Man will give you, because God, the Father, has put his mark of approval on him.”

Focus: Give thanks for His Graciousness first, and then thank our Lord Jesus for His Providence. Remember the crowd that were following Jesus? He said you seek me because of the food that you received… while we are reflecting on this statement from Jesus, today we are thanking our Lord not just for the meal, the things that he provided, but above all we thank Him for Who HE is… He is the great I AM…  So Lord we thank You for remembering us, and Lord we thank You for Your unconditional love, we thank You for Your Redemption and Lord we thank You for the privilege of knowing You Lord Jesus.

Devotional:

Today as we dedicate this day to Thanking You Lord we acknowledge that You have throughout the year granted Your Divine Grace and we thank You Lord for the YOU as You Lord Jesus is our reward…

Matthew 26: 26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Lord as You said…   Luke 22:19 [Full Chapter]

Then he took a piece of bread, gave thanks to God, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”

Lord You have said:

EVENING:

Matthew 6 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Giving to the Poor and Prayer

6 “Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.

2 “So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come… Lord today as we thank You for Your Graciousness and Your Divide Redemption, Lord Your unconditional love for us we acknowledge. Because you know our heart knowing that we are no different from those that You mentioned that sought You because of what they received. Lord we acknowledge Your Divine Grace Your Sacrifice and that it is by Your Blood of Atonement that we are saved by your Grace.  Lord as we observe this day of giving thanks, we thank You Lord Jesus knowing that You Lord Jesus is Sovereign and Eternal and Lord Jesus we thank You for our Visitors and we thank You for Your Providence. Devotionals for Wednesday November 22nd, 2017

Is Heaven like a 5-Star Resort?  No need to guess, the Bible revealed this… read more;

There are Five Stars and Five Diamond Resorts starting price of $39,000 per night. Yet all these are simply buildings situated on an island surrounded by the beauty of the Lord. So, to spend a lavish week that will cost you more than a quarter of a million dollars, this ought to be a memorable vacation.  But the word is memorable, therefore after leaving, all the luxuries and amenities they are left behind.

Compare the above to a place that the Lord has provided, a place He referred to as Paradise…

A place that will be our permanent abode. Imagine No daily rates, no rent, no time limits, no checkout time, and endless beauty. This is Paradise as described by Jesus.

The Lord did not place His utmost emphasis of the place called Paradise, He place His utmost emphasis on His care upon us.  So, as we read in Romans 6:

As we continue in our journey facing the constant battle of temptations and knowing that Christ died for our Sins, and as we affirm that  sin’s power over us was broken when we became Christians and were baptized to become a part of Jesus Christ; through his death the power of your sinful nature was shattered.

Romans 6 Living Bible (TLB)

6 Well then, shall we keep on sinning so that God can keep on showing us more and more kindness and forgiveness?

2-3 Of course not! Should we keep on sinning when we don’t have to? For sin’s power over us was broken when we became Christians and were baptized to become a part of Jesus Christ; through his death the power of your sinful nature was shattered.

4 Your old sin-loving nature was buried with him by baptism when he died; and when God the Father, with glorious power, brought him back to life again, you were given his wonderful new life to enjoy.

5 For you have become a part of him, and so you died with him, so to speak, when he died; and now you share his new life and shall rise as he did.

6 Your old evil desires were nailed to the cross with him; that part of you that loves to sin was crushed and fatally wounded, so that your sin-loving body is no longer under sin’s control, no longer needs to be a slave to sin;

7 for when you are deadened to sin you are freed from all its allure and its power over you.

8 And since your old sin-loving nature “died” with Christ, we know that you will share his new life.

9 Christ rose from the dead and will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him.

10 He died once for all to end sin’s power, but now he lives forever in unbroken fellowship with God.

11 So look upon your old sin nature as dead and unresponsive to sin, and instead be alive to God, alert to him, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So, today celebrate the Glory of the Lord as…  I can never stop thanking God for all the wonderful gifts he has given you, now that you are Christ’s: he has enriched your whole life. He has helped you speak out for him and has given you a full understanding of the truth; 1 Corinthians 1:4-5 TLB

Principle: Romans 5: 8  (NASB)

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Colossians 2:9-10 (NASB)For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, 10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;

To come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we bring Your Good News of Salvation to many, we seek Your blessings on our Visitors and Lord remove the scales from our eyes, and lead us to Green Pastures and Your Still Water of Life. We Praise You Lord and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday:   November 21st, 2017

What is your ‘Ideal-destination’? a dream cruise, a world-tour? Remember they all ends…

Remember when you went on a trip, enjoying the beach, the dining and the sight-seeing? And on the last day leaving it is like leaving home…

Sometime leaving may be a different experience as it could be a relief leaving for home. But in most instances that mini-vacation can be good and be filled with good times to be remembered.

But all good things must come an end… but the real thing at the real and permanent place will never end. Where?  In God’s Kingdom.

Let’s us first review being ‘Enlightened’ defined as… Enlighten definition, to give intellectual or spiritual light to; instruct; impart knowledge.

So being ‘enlightened’ you have received the Spiritual-Light and His Holy Spirit imparts the Knowledge of His Word upon you.

Know this… as said yesterday, your Spiritual-Light will never fade, even when you depart this world. Because the Bible said… To be absent from the Body is to be present with the Lord.

Heaven in as real as that nice Vacation sport that we mentioned above, but it is permanent, and it is far better, as described below:

Revelation 21New King James Version (NKJV)

All Things Made New

21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also, there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

Remember… that Jesus said… 7 “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son”.

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

His Faithfulness:

He is coming again… 1 Thessalonians 4:17

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught  up  together with thein the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (in Context) 1 Thessalonians 4 (Whole Chapter)

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Come to our Lord while there’s still time, seek Him while He can be found…

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the Bible statements are accepted as the Truth, and nothing but the Truth, and where we will be? Read above… It states clearly that we will be caught up together with thein the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever.

Prayer:

Father in Jesus our Savior we come, Lord Jesus our Redeemer we acknowledge today that You are not of this world and that you have prepared a place for us. Lord we thank you for Your assurance that You will return and where You are we will be with You Lord. In Faith we come and in Faith we go following Your instructions to bring the Good News to the ends of the Earth. We will be a bearer of Your Message till that day Lord, we ask Your blessing upon our Visitors today and by Your Divine Powers, bestow on us all Your Blessings and Your favors, as we follow You to Green Pastures. In Your Name We Pray Lord Jesus to You be the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Can we change the course of our lives? Yes… by making a decision, to follow Jesus

What is your goal for this week? Is it to finish a current project or start a new one?

Text: James 1 New International Version (NIV)

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,

Trials and Temptations

2. Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3. because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5.  If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

Commentary:  Giving our Lord Jesus Christ the Glory, because we can do nothing without Christ, but with Jesus all things are possible.  All of what we plan to do or are currently doing, without the blessings of our Lord it is in vain.

Just like the journey to the Promised-Land, the Israelites failed to apply one key factor… “FAITH” they depended on their own understanding by lacking faith.  Because as they journeyed the looked at God bringing up the rear, He is leading.  We must identify His leadership and follow Him. Our finite plans are limited for a specific time, His plan is infinite, as He said…” I am not of this world”, therefore God’s plan is out of this world.

The excitement of moving into a new house, driving that new car out of the dealership, and having money in the bank, all these are still ‘temporary’. This is where ‘Estate-Planning’ comes into effect… all of the planning lacks one thing, what is this one thing? Eternity… The world’s landscape is dotted with magnificent estates, build by men, and guess what? These are just museums, places such as; The Hearst Castle in California, Versailles in France, and the most poignant of all is the Taj mahal in Agra, India which is a tomb

Our plan for this week should be to include our Lord in the planning process making Jesus the Author and Finisher of the Plan. We must step back and follow His lead; we are like ‘ants’ in the scope of His ‘Heavenly-Realms’.  Because the new house, the new car, and those mansions are all similar to the ruins found in the jungle.  ‘Machu-Picchu’ being one of the most famous of all ruins, the inhabitants all passed, yet the buildings are reverting back to dust.

So, recognizing that God gave us the answer to all of the above… The Good News of Christ’s Redemption, because He ‘Redeemed’ us and made us a ‘Joint-Heir’ in a Kingdom not made by human hands, and it will remain Un-Shaken.  A place where the streets are paved with Gold.

Principle: Claim His Redemption today, it is like a coupon that must be accepted and presented… This is the Seal of the Atoning Blood of Christ.  Unless we stand and receive this, we cannot claim it. It is freely given, but we must accept Him knowing that He is our Redeemer.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: John 15: 5 (NKJV) Jesus said…” I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing”.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Jesus also said… Luke 9:23 NKJV Then He said to them all, “If anyone desire to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.”   Where is He leading us?  To Glory, to His Kingdom, a place our Lord Jesus called Paradise.

Conclusion:

Yet for a while we are here, until that day when He calls us home, we must do this… Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good work. Titus 2: 13-14 (NKJV)

Come to Jesus just as you are, without one plea of defense as we are all sinners…

Pray: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come… Lord as You have patiently dealt with me and granted Your Grace, today I accept Your invitation to come and be renewed by You and to receive Your Holy Spirit as I come and accept Your Love and Redemption and go placing You first in my life. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen.

Prayer: Thank You Father through our Lord Jesus we can boldly come to You knowing that whoever calls upon Your name Lord shall be saved. We thank You for the privilege of spreading Your Good News and we thank You for the Visitors in English, Chinese and Spanish, Lord be with each one and Lord bless our endeavors as it is done for Your Glory Lord. We thank You Lord and pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:   November 19, 2017

Gain strength from the Light of Jesus, just like a plant it needs ‘Light’ to grow and so do we.

Even the details of how a plant uses Light turning it into a complex combination of chemicals causing the growth of the plant’s cell…

Why Good Light is Essential

Photosynthesis is the process whereby plants turn the energy of light into their own building materials. They combine water and carbon dioxide (and a minute amount of other elements) into the complex chemicals their cells are made of.

The amazing transmittal of heat and light unpacked from a burning log…

When you burn a log of wood all heat coming off is the sun’s light the tree absorbed now being re-emitted…

So, we humans are more dependent on the Good Light from the One who is the Light of the World, the world being our own Body and Soul.

John 8:12 [Full Chapter]

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Though the Eternal Light of Jesus, we are fully charged to become a reflection of His enduring Light, so, let your Light so shine before all bearing His Good News… The News of Salvation.

Matthew 5:14

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

The Word of the Lord never fades, He said when you are ‘Enlightened’ and His Light is instilled in us, it will never fade. And this applies even to those that pass away from this world, as their Light continues… The Soul is who you are and us all.  Therefore, as we shed the earthly tent, the Soul transition to the presence of the Lord.

A camera was invented that captures the Soul leaving the body… an amazing claim?  Yes and no, because the Bible makes this claim.  As stated...

2 Corinthians 5:8

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

Luke 23:43

And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Jesus demonstrated this as he said to the repentant thief on the cross.

Paul wrote about taking this trip, but he was sent back to continue the mission of what Jesus chose him to do. While Paul spoke in the ‘Third-party’ he was speaking of his own experience when he was taken outside the city and left for dead after been beaten.

2 Corinthians 12:4

how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Humanity is still a primitive being, as we talk of Quantum-Physics.  Just like eastern medicine of acupuncture that is a method of realigning the meridian… The ancient Chinese modality of acupuncture is being recognized more and more in the west as both a practical and advanced technique for many purposes; including pain relief and over-all realignment. Based on knowledge of the body’s energy systems known as meridians, acupuncture seeks to open the flow of once blocked passageways in order to allow the body to heal itself.

Revelation 2:7

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” In Context | Full Chapter

Affirmation by Jesus…

John 8:12

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus thank You for lighting the way and through Your Grace we have reconciliation with the Father. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and seek Your Divine blessing on s all. We give You preeminence in our lives. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore... Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday:   November 18, 2017

Be alert…    Look beyond the façade, but not to pre-judge, test the spirit and know that it is not a wolf….

1 John 4 [Full Chapter]

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. ...

We are told not to ‘pre-judge’ but to discern, which is defined as to separate or distinguish, to separate by the eye, or by the understanding.

A recent experience of someone we met, and he quickly disclosed he was a Christian… this certainly placed us at ease.  As the meeting progressed he presented his credentials of banking and as an energy (oil & gas) trader.  He came to make us an offer to acquire and interest in a business that we sought to sell.  On our second contact, he then revealed he was also in the category of what we presented. We subsequently found that this was not so, but was applying what he gathered from us he embarked on trying to do what we presented to him.

In life the story of the Bees and the Wasp…  and it is said that they both went through the same training, the Wasp left after learning how to make the Comb, and the Bees stayed on and completed the training of how to make the honey and fill the comb.  As we all know Wasps do not make honey, so a little knowledge is not enough.

One thing for sure… Philippians 4: 9  (NKJV)

The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Philippians 4: 19  And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

So, we shall abide by these Words…

Philippians 4: Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things arejust, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Forgiveness is the cornerstone of your own health.  To forgive is healthy and to be forgiven is an act of grace.

Everyone say forgiveness is a good idea until they have something to forgive

Principle: Prophecy proves that God is in charge of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

I can be assured that my redeemer lives and that I am redeemed because of his redemption, so stay in Grace and seek him and fellowship with my Jesus in His Holy Spirit.

Thanks you for Visiting...

Bringing the good news of Salvation is not because of what you know, but who you know…

The Bible said the ‘fear’ of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom… Loving the Lord is when you begat wisdom.

Jesus is not the third party in our prayer, He is always present, so end by saying ‘In Your holy name Lord Jesus we pray, not the third-party inference as if He is not present, which is not acknowledging g Him Presence. All this is because He said He is ‘always’ present.

Jesus said… “I go to prepare a place, and ‘if’ I go, I will return and get you that where I am you will be also… His caveat of ‘If’ is to rack of us. While He did go, he is not building a place for us unless we are born-again, just as told to Nicodemus. We do not get a place in His kingdom by default.

Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

Good News:   Join the winning Team... Our Lord never lost a battle...  God will always prevail, He will forever be victorious.
God has not yet forgotten us. The Lord Answers Prayers.

Go to the Lord and make your request known to Him.

Introducing a Friend…

Today I will introduce a Friend, and my introduction will be based on His life, His care for me and His unmatched graciousness.

This friend visited earth 2,017 years ago. He came under a very unorthodox auspice of being born without an earthly father, His mother was a Virgin and many wanted to make Him a king.

During His 33 years, He did many things that are still mind-baffling, He also made an astounding claim… He said “I Am not of this world”.  He even claimed that before Abraham was He was…

John 8:58  “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” In Context | Full Chapter |

He declared that He was at the day of Creation with God the Father…

John 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. In Context

Now it is clear who this Friend is? …. Jesus the Messiah!

Jesus in no new kid on the block… He was declared on the first day, when God said…

Genesis 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. In Context | Full Chapter |

The Bible refers to God in the Plural as stated…Genesis 1: 26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Remember the Sun was not yet placed until the fourth day, but Jesus who is the Image of the Invisible God, was there… and Jesus is Sovereign and Preeminent as we read…

John 1:1

The Word Became Flesh] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 1:2  He was with God in the beginning. In Context | Full Chapter |

And Jesus is Sovereign… Colossians 1:16

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. In Context | Full Chapter

So, as we continue to introduce our Messiah, Who said… I no longer call you servants but a Friend…

John 15:15

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter

What a privilege our Lord Jesus has given us all…  Keep looking up, as the Bible said:  This same Jesus will return. Acts 1:11

“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Think on these…

You cannot Test or Tempt the Lord, To say Lord...  ” if you do this for me I will do this for you”  The Lord needs no favors from me, He only wants my Love and Adoration of Him by trusting Him and allowing Him to be the Author and Finisher of my Faith.

Sharing the Gospel…. By Spreading the Good News. The Good News is that Christ died for sinners just like me and you all. And by His Grace we are saved (When we come and repent and accept Him as our Lord and Savior)

Let our Quality-Time’ be spent asking God to place His Divine blessings on ourselves and on others who are seeking Him. So seeking Him should not because of our ‘Want’ but because of our ‘Need’ as He will always provide our ‘Needs’, and He will do this in Abundance as he said Psalm 23:5 He will prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. He will anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. In Context | Full Chapter |

To accomplish the work of God, we must give up relying on my own power...

Principles: Whatever God asks me to do I can only do by His Power

I must realize my powerlessness by:

Step one: place it all in the hands of Jesus…  Step Two: apply His Mission statement in my life by spreading His Good News

As I go through this world keep my eyes on Him…  Always know that Jesus is preeminent and He is God.

Whatever you long for, there is no satisfaction apart from Jesus Christ

Praise is a multi-meaning noun, when used in conjunction with Worship we attain ‘Adoration and Love’ and not just a message of ‘gratitude’.   To say that God wants our Praise, this is not what He wants, He wants our Adoration which is expressed in our love and affirmation of His Grace, His Holiness, His Love and His Divine Redemption; which is founded on His Unconditional Love.

1 John 5:6-8 Living Bible (TLB)

6-8 And we know he is, because God said so with a voice from heaven when Jesus was baptized, and again as he was facing death—yes, not only at his baptism but also as he faced death.* And the Holy Spirit, forever truthful, says it too. So, we have these three witnesses: the voice of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, the voice from heaven at Christ’s baptism, and the voice before he died. * And they all say the same thing: that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. *

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Avoid Worldly Wisdom

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Think on This…He saved because of His Mercies... But to receive His salvation we need to come to Him and ask to be forgiven of our sin and in exchange for our filthy rags He gives us His Seal of Redemption by His blood.

Isaiah 55:1

Invitation to the Thirsty] “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. In Context | Full Chapter |

Thank You Lord Jesus for this day and Lord because of You it is a Good Day.

Lord let me use this day to:

Pray for my brothers and sisters and all so they too will have a Good-Day.

Lord as we know that this Day is made by You and all things are made new in You, let us be reminded that this Good time will continue in spite of the ‘end’-times that we face.

Lord let us use this day to pray for those in need and those who are seeking You to be blessed with You Peace.

We give You preeminence in our lives knowing that we shall see You as You are Jesus Messiah… To You be the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

      Think on these...

  1. His Assurance:  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV….  Thank our lord Jesus for His Spirit of Power, of Love, given us a Sound mind that we can give Him the Glory.

  1. He is Mediator: For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a random for all 1 Timothy 2: 5-6 NKJV …. Thank Him that he intercedes to the Father on our behalf, and He Paid-It-All to Redeem us.

  1. Finding our Lord:  Jeremiah 33: 3… Call on Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.  What a privilege He gave us, we can freely come to our Lord.

  1. Meeting our needs:  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4: 6 NKJV… He is never too busy to receive our requests (notice not just one request, as many as we need) so give thanks our Lord knowing that whatever we ask He will provide meeting all our needs.

  1. Salvation through His Blood: In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace... Ephesians 1: 7 NKJV… We are saved by His Grace and in Faith and not by ourselves, it is a ‘Gift’ of God, not of any works, so we cannot boast. (Ephesians 2: 8)

  1. Christ is Eternal, His Word is forever, His Redemption is for Eternity, and those He saved will never be lost… Romans 8: 38-39… For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present not things to come, not height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord… Rest assured that this is a truthful and faithful saying and we can trust in Jesus for He is on the Throne of Righteousness and he has our back and in Him we have Victory...

The most profound words ever spoken on earth…

”I am not of this world” Jesus said this, and no one ever repeated these words.   Imagine today this being claimed by someone over the Airwaves broadcasted across the continents? Who can claim this, Only Jesus the Christ, Anointed as the Messiah.  He proved this by…

  1. The sun went dark for three hours while He was on the Cross
  2. The empty grave
  3. His Resurrection, seen by many

The Birth and Crucifixion of Jesus was foretold by Isaiah over 700 years before Jesus came, born of a Virgin in a Manger, Died and Resurrected and Ascended to Heaven.  His promise of His Comforter His Holy-Spirit is also a factual event and to this day his Holy Spirit dwells among us.

His promise is wrapped in the love He bestowed on us and we have Victory in Him…Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever…

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

1 John 5:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

1 John 3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

                   The Assurance from The Lord
....

                  Romans 8:28-39New International Version (NIV)

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[b]

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[c] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  **********************

Things to consider…

Do not indulge, temptation comes in many form…

Avoid these stages to being drawn into the act are:

Seeing + Lusting + Participating = Sinning

Remember King David did the same thing, He looked, he saw, he lusted and indulged and committed one of the most infamous act of adultery and even murder.

The Lord wants us to be without compromise…

15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot. I will vomit you out of My mouth.   Revelation 3: 15-16 NKJV

The Lord does not want us to be ‘Lukewarm’ and an example of this we can see why He chose Saul on the road to Damascus, why would Jesus choose Saul who was an avid persecutor of Christians?, because He looked at Saul as a person who was not ‘Lukewarm’ but was ‘hot’ to arrest Christian, therefore when Paul was stuck down and chosen to be a ‘Vessel’ for Christ, Saul later known as Paul became one of Jesus’ most formidable messenger to bring the Good News to the Gentiles.

WHO IS JESUS?
(All Scripture texts from  the NIV Bible)

Jesus said…”I am not of this world’, then where is He? He is Omniscient, He is the image of the invisible God, and He Lives.

He is my Redeemer and He is the Great “I AM”

His return will be His 3rd Visit.  He was here before when it all began… God said “Let there be Light” and there was Light and this Light was Jesus.

Jesus/Yeshua came before the Sun was installed on the 4th day.

His 2nd Visit was when He came as God-Emanuel, He fulfilled His Mission of Redeeming us by His Sacrifice.

He gave us His irreversible and irrevocable Gift.

This ‘Priceless’ Gift I accept and this is the Grace of Salvation from our Lord Jesus. By this I can say my Redeemer Lives!

His third and final visit will be on that day known as the ‘Day of The Lord’

Let us all look to that glorious day when the trumpet will sound, and His coming will be seen from the East to the West.

No, our Lord is not ‘too busy’ to return as some say where is He and I have been hearing of Christ’s coming and when will this be?  Our Lord is Gracious and He wants all to be saved, and His time is not ours, so just Trust Him and remain in Faith knowing that he said He will never leave you nor forsake you.  Praise Him come to Him and know that our Lord Jesus is always there for you.

Steps to Victory…

John 16:33 [Full Chapter]

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

To Ignore our Lord is an act of denying Him...

Remember:  Jesus is not the third-party bystander in our Prayers to the Father,  He is our Mediator and without Him no one comes to the Father, therefore we always go to our Father in the Holy Name of our Jesus our Redeemer, It is through His Righteousness that we are able to be presented to the Father.  T

The supremacy of our Lord...

Hebrews 1: 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs. Isaiah 61: 1, 3 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me.... (This refers to Jesus being endowed by The Father to come and be our Redeemer Hebrews 8 and Psalm 45: 6&7 are identical and it affirms The Anointing of Jesus as The Christ; which is Prophecy fulfilled)

Hebrews 6: 1 Verse 3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory,

Hebrews 1: verse 3. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in Heaven.

Hebrews 6: 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. Hebrews 6: 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie.

Touchstone: Jesus also said:
John 16
Jesus spoke of His Ascension into Heaven…  Verse 28: “I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”

Just like when Moses was looking to God in: Exodus 14: 15-16 New International Version (NIV)

15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

Waiting around is not what Jesus did. He was constantly on the move, by age Twelve He was already full of knowledge from His Father. We saw Him in the Synagogue questioning and answering the elders with authority, we saw Him over-turning the tables of the money changers in the Temple, and we saw Him healing many.

Romans 8:37-39 New King James Version (NKJV)

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

By Today's standard of communication, the above would read,

May our Lord bless you as you read these Words

Today make Jesus Christ the Center of your life

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

If You know HIM you will Love and Serve HIM… by:

Romans 12:1 (NIV)

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

John 14:21 (NIV)

Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

Then live by HIS precept, as told to us in:

Matthew 6:33 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

So today we can know the affirmation of:

  1. Whom we believed
  2. In Whom we place our trust
  3. He is Faithful and Trust Worthy to defend us
  4. Who we can look to for what we need
  5. And HIS Rewards are granted to those that seek HIM FIRST…

And our Heavenly Rewards are far greater that the temporary things that will need replacing as soon as man’s short-term warranty expire so that they can sell you a service contract.

With our Lord there is a Service Contract but there is no Premium, why? Because; HE already paid it in FULL at the Cross by HIS Blood; His blood is the “Atonement” for our sins, it is the Divine Gift of Grace that He granted to each of us.

Grace is like your house payment that is past due, but there is a late fee and if you do not make the payment, it is then declared a delinquent loan, and by ignoring the bank the loan is then foreclosed… with God our life is declared PAID-In-FULL so that we can look to the future by HIS preparation for Life-everlasting….

1 John 3 NIV

1. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!  And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

 2. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

  3. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.

 2 Corinthians 5:21

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God"

Colossians 1: 15-20 New International Version (NIV)

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

For He said:  All things work together for good to those that love the Lord…

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:27-29 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

You are Complete in Christ” as Jesus Loves You and Paid It All for You to come and know Him, and by knowing Jesus as Lord of lords, all Things are Possible… because in God’s eyes you are ‘Complete in Christ’ even as you are; but God wants to make you “PERFECT” in Him, and You can be perfect this moment by coming to our Savior, and in Faith Pray…
Lord Jesus Christ, I accept in faith that You came and died for my sins and by Your Blood of Atonement offered for me, my Lord I accept You and by Your Grace I am saved knowing that it is only by Your Blood that my sins are washed away, and by Your Grace extended to me that I can look to You my Savior knowing that one day I shall see You and be brought into Your Kingdom where there shall be no more sin no more pain and be filled with the Joy of Your Holy presence my Lord and Savior.  I commit my life and my soul to You my Lord Jesus and expect to spend eternity with You my Lord, I accept Your divine saving Grace now and pray this in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer His holy Spirit will find you and growing in Christ is a daily walk with Jesus…

The Lord is our Shepherd....Psalm 23 New International Version (NIV)

A psalm of David.

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,  he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.  He guides me along the right paths  for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk  through the darkest valley,  I will fear no evil,  for you are with me;  your rod and your staff,  they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me  in the presence of my enemies.  You anoint my head with oil;  my cup overflows.  6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me  all the days of my life,  and I will dwell in the house of the LORD  forever.
 Amen

Jesus said.... "I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."

John 10:9 Jesus, the great I AM, is the entrance into the true church, and the way of access to God himself. .

Starting the day with these precepts from our Lord…

Let’s start the day by Praising our Eternal God, who is Sovereign, knowing that Jesus is the Anointed Son of our Father the Creator who said…

To proclaim Jesus as the SON of GOD:

Our blessed Jesus, as God, is omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent.

Continue to join us each day, and read the Good News. God Bless you all...

T
he TABLE OF GRACE:

“Lord let the Fruits from the work that you have given me Adorn Your Table of Grace…For You my Lord has set a table in front of our enemies and our enemy is also against You Lord, as we give You the Glory; and You said love our enemies”…

Grace: Grace is as tangible as what? Can we see Grace? Yet Grace is defined in the Webster as The Definition of GRACE

a : unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification

b : a virtue coming from God

c : a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace

Paul said in 2nd Corinthians 12: 9  And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses,

Paul was who was chosen by Jesus to be a ‘Vessel’ bearing the Word of Salvation, was also speaking of his personal experience, but speaking in third party instances so that he would not be exalting himself, here is a man that was a persecutor of Christian, a man that witnessed the stoning of Steven to death, now redeemed as a servant of the Most High, speaking as a privileged individual when he made this statement… Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a man was caught up to the third heaven. And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows— was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.  On behalf of such a man I will boast; but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in regard to my weaknesses. For if I do wish to boast I will not be foolish, for I will be speaking the truth; but I refrain from this, so that no one will credit me with more than he sees in me or hears from me.

As we see was Paul taken into Heaven?  Yes, Who God chooses to serve Him, such person will experience His calling…

Prior to Paul’s conversion, we would place Paul in the category of; Those than do not love, they do not know our Lord…

As we read that three days after Paul was struck down by our Lord, he started to preach Christ Crucified, here was a man just days before stood holding the clothes of Steven and watching a man being put to death, but within days was transformed by the Grace of God.

Think on this today...

To SEEK the Kingdom of GOD!...To Walk in Faith, knowing that the Kingdom of God goes forth in TRUTH & POWER

With JESUS on the Throne, knowing that Jesus is in Charge. The Solution is not More Religion, but More of Christ’s

Matthew 6: NIV

Jesus taught us how to pray

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:

   “‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Philippians 4: 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

We need to focus on the positive more and still remember the negative results of sins. Our Lord is saying in HIS Prayer “   “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”… He was telling us while we are here the following will apply:

He (Jesus) is as powerful here on earth as He is in Heaven

He will supply our needs here while we are here on earth

He will protect from evil, by us trusting and knowing Him

As Christians we need to emphasize the following:

The Positive aspects of following our Lord Jesus, as He is Holy

The Joy that He provides by His words of Assurance

The Victory we have in Him

The satisfaction of spreading His Good news to others, as we spread His fragrance we also receive His blessings too.

We are to tear down the barriers to achieve the secret of satisfaction in coming to Jesus and fellowship in Christ in Oneness; knowing that we can find the fulfillment of all our needs in fellowship with God.

We thank our Lord Jesus for His Faithfulness and for His unspeakable gift.

Matthew 6: NIV

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

HE ROSE TRIUMPHANTLY.... Jesus Paid It All!
This Website is sponsored by The Maurice & Eva Hoo Foundation

We need to be reminded that the Bible said....Our Lord is  a  God of Fire

Hebrews 12:28-29 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”

God made a way for us to escape His wrath, through His Son Jesus who Paid-It-All, and we are assured of this as written in  Romans 8:1-4 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Now that we have proof of the mercy of our Lord, and in Him we can have Victory, let us all come to Him that we can receive His assurance that we are transitioned from condemnation to life. To receive His Assurance place your faith in Jesus, come to the Cross, He is waiting...

Just Pray this prayer... Heavenly Father I come knowing I am a sinner and in You Lord I can trust, I confess  my sins and seek to be Saved by Your Grace as You have provided a way for me to be cleansed by Your Blood. Lord today I turn my life over to You that I can be guided by Your Holy Spirit, Lord come into my heart and make me a new creation from this day forward. Lord Jesus be with me as I now look to You as my Lord and Savior, In Your name Lord Jesus I pray... Amen.
