Devotionals for Tuesday:      12-06-2016

Without Christ, you are building on ‘Sand’ With Him as the Cornerstone. You are on Solid Rock…

Focus:  Why do we need a church?  It is a place to Worship and Praise our Lord… It is a place where God is in the midst

The Church’s one foundation   Is Jesus Christ her Lord;

She is His new creation   By water and the Word:

From heav’n He came and sought her   To be His Holy Bride;

With His own blood, He bought her, And for her life He died.

2

Elect from every nation, Yet one o’er all the earth,

Her charter of salvation, One Lord, one faith, one birth;

One holy Name she blesses, Partakes one holy food,

And to one hope she presses, With every grace endued.

3

’Mid toil and tribulation, And tumult of her war,

She waits the consummation Of peace for evermore;

Till, with the vision glorious, her longing eyes are blest,

And the great Church victorious   Shall be the Church at rest.

4

Yet she on earth hath union With God the Three in One,

And mystic sweet communion with those whose rest is won:

O happy ones and holy!  Lord, give us grace that we,

Like them, the meek and lowly, In love may dwell with Thee.

TEXT: Matthew 16:18  (Jesus said this)

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

In Context | Full Chapter

Commentary:

‘Church’ is mentioned in the Bible over 120 times, and Jesus told Peter that “on this ‘Rock’ I will build my church…

Jesus was speaking of His Own Divine Grace, His Holiness and His reference to ‘The Rock’ was not to Peter as the rock.  Jesus laid the foundation as He is the Corner-Stone and Jesus was saying “I am the Rock’ I am sure that as Jesus was telling Peter and uttering the words…’On this Rock’ He was pointing to Himself and not at Peter.

Therefore no one, no church, no earthly ‘Peter’ can claim that he is or was ‘the Rock’.  The Rock is Jesus the ‘Christ’ and God made our Divine Jesus ‘The-Christ’; Christ was not the last name of Jesus it is the elevated Preeminence bestowed upon Jesus the Son of the Most High.

Jesus Messiah or Jesus the ‘Anointed One” = Jesus Christ.  So, to Know Him is to know the Messiah, and God’s anointing of His Son Jesus is our Redeemer.

Our reverence is to Jesus Christ our Redeemer.  No man, nothing can save us, only by the Blood of Jesus our Redeemer.

Therefore, no church or any religion formed by man in the name of Peter can ever constitute the formation on the Rock.  The Rock is Jesus’ Grace… Nothing but the Lord Jesus can lead you, not a church, not the principle of any religion, only the Grace of our Lord Jesus on which the Church is built on.  So, you being a member of a church, must be a Member in Christ, as we are the reminded that ‘Religion’ cannot save you, only by the Blood of Christ we can be saved.

John 15 [Full Chapter] (The Word of Jesus)

[The Vine and the Branches] “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. ...

John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. In Context | Full Chapter |

The Love of Christ:

Jesus said apart from Him (Without Him) we can do nothing… NIL, Nada nothing; but in Him all things are possible.

EVENING:

What a privilege our Lord Jesus gave us all… His Grace is extended to each of us.  So, lets us refresh the meaning of Grace… Grace is defined as Grace of Beauty, or Grace of ‘Time’

Grace is mention in the NIV 121 Times and in…

 Isaiah 26: 10

But when grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness;
even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and do not regard the majesty of the Lord.
11 Lord, your hand is lifted high, but they do not see it.
Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame;
let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them.

12 Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us.
13 Lord our God, other lords besides you have ruled over us,
but your name alone do we honor.

Conclusion:

Ephesians 2:8

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

Devotionals for Monday: 12-05-2016

Would you like to live in the Garden of Eden? Guess what? ….
Choosing to live in the Garden of Eden is one option we do not have, but many are in their own Garden of Eden. Genesis outlined the event of God’s magnificent place and how Adam and Eve squandered this gift. While the Bible gave us a historical synopsis of this wonderful life, we today may be in a modern-day Eden and what occurred when Adam & Eve disobeyed God they were evicted, will also apply to each of our lives.
To be living in comfort by God’s providence and looking away from the Lord, the Garden will be dried up and its occupant will be turned away.  There are multiple examples of this, princes have forfeited their heirship to the throne, son(s) have squandered their future, and even those of the clergy lost their way and were led out of their Garden of Eden.
In our personal lives, we are given certain latitudes and we are self-governed to an extent.  But as usual we get comfortable and we get complacent and we are humans.  Even Solomon in his days of glory turned away, numerous leaders strayed away from God and their Garden of Eden dried up.  We are not saying that we are to live by the rules of legality, living to just maintain our status quo, we are to follow Jesus’ saying as He said… Seek Him and His Righteousness first, and all these things will be added unto to you.
Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
His Faithfulness:
Creation is His painting with the beauty and wonder of it all
What kind of God would God be if he did not communicate with us?
So God speaks through His Word; the Word is Christ
God's enjoyment of what He was doing in creating the heavens & the earth. And us he said it was Good
God really made it all for man because He loved us
His great design was by intelligent design
The Christian doctrine of creation is that God made this all for us, as He gave us dominion over everything
We fail to appreciate his creation as He made it all for us, so thank Him for the majesty of His marvelous creation
We are privileged of being made in His likeness,

Principle: God delights in his creation
God placed us here to enjoy the worship of him and the intimacy of his love for us

EVENING:
Action/Coming to our Lord:
Prayer is the ‘Pillar of Faith’ and coming to our Lord many times each day will strengthen us against the temptation, and He will make a way for us to overcome the wiles of the devil. Praise our Lord Jesus for He said…”Greater is He in you that who is in this world’ meaning by His Spirit in You can do all things through Him, Christ Jesus.

Conclusion:
What is Man that our God is so concerned with our wellbeing? He created us, He numbered our days, and He also made a way for us to be in Eternity with Him.  Because the Eden Restored will be sinless and pure not because we are capable of being good on our own, He died for our sin, and He has prepared a ‘Sanctified’ Place which is Sinless and we humans will be Transformed, and be in a place of Splendor where our Eternal Sovereign God will radiate His Love and His Holy Spirit that will abide in us will in keep us in Harmony with our Lord.

Prayer:
Father we come today in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that You are the Light of the World, and that on the first day, as our Creator said…”Let there be light” and there was light, Lord we also read that our Creator did not create the Sun until the fourth day, so therefore Lord, it was Your Divine Radiance that illuminated the darkness. Lord we thank you for Your Love and we are privileged to serve You knowing that You are the same yesterday and forever. Lord bless our Visitors to this Website, grant Your Favors to all Lord, as we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen

His Faithfulness:
Yes, you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

The ‘Pain’ of life’s challenges? Or the JOY of an abundant Life?

Life’s challenges may come in many forms, some of our challenges are not the business or financial stress, but moral stress.

What could be defined as ‘moral-stress’ Temptation is foremost in dealing with life’s challenges.

As the Apostle Paul said… Romans 7: 14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?  25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature[d] a slave to the law of sin.

In life, we have a delicate balance… the ‘Abundance’ of what the Lord has provided makes one comfortable, it also nourishes our bodies, but not our soul; why? Being well taken care of, our instinct is to keep searching, and in our exploration, we need to keep our focus on the Lord and His teaching.

We saw this in the Garden of Eden, our fore parents were well provided for, and yet they fell for the temptation.  So, the realty of each of our lives, if you are in a virtual ‘Eden’ being well provided for, do not do what Adam and Eve did by falling into temptation.

Our lives are not judged by a system of legality in the eyes of the Lord, we are given the freedom of choice, but choosing the wrong thing that is an abomination to God is where the rubber meets the road.  So, avoid forfeiting the abundance that you are experiencing and conquering the ‘Moral-challenges’ by defying the tempter doing what we mentioned yesterday… when life’s ill-wind blows your way, step back and let it pass you by. The fiery darts of the evil ones are all aimed at us, so don’t just stand there, step aside and let them miss you.

Ephesians 2:8-9New International Version (NIV)

8 For it is by grace you have been SAVED, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9: not by works, so that no one can boast.

Note that it is God who provides the way of escape. Talk to the Lord many times a day, asking for His help. Read your Bible and fill your mind with thoughts from His Word. The Word of God will have a purifying effect on your life; see Psalm 119:11.

The old sinful lifestyle must now be replaced with the new life in Christ. This requires the enabling power of the Holy Spirit to replace the old habits with new ones. Avoid companionship with those that influence you to indulge in sinful activities. Make a list of those activities and habits you want changed. Set some positive goals for your life, and with God's strength go after them. Take the initiative and seek the counsel of a gospel-teaching pastor or other dedicated Christian worker.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in The Holy Trinity of our Father and His Holy Spirit, Jesus Messiah, King of kings and Lord of lords, we lift You up on High.  Lord today as we come and pray for our brothers and sisters who are serving You, we ask Your divine protection for Your servants as the evil forces are on the prowl seeking to compromise us and especially Your servants that are engaged in Your Mission. Lord nurture our resolve of Truth in You Jesus our Lord, Lord let there be no doubt of Your Covenant that You will be there to say “well done good and Faithful Servant”, so Lord, let all of Your servants run the race to the finish without looking back, looking to You as the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Lord we ask Your blessing upon our Visitors coming to this Good News Forever site to receive Your inspiration, and Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You. In Your Precious Holy Name Lord Jesus, we commit all to You. Now to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

‘Rolling with the punches’ don’t be K’OD by life’s punches…

based on boxing, from the literal meaning roll with the punches (step back or to one side as you are being hit), so that you do not receive the full force of the attack.

So, when life’s ill-wind blows your way, step back and let it pass you by. The fiery darts of the evil ones are all aimed at us, so don’t just stand there, step aside and let them miss you.

The story of a little robin flying south for the winter, it was snowing and his wings were frozen, that caused him to fall, he fell through the opening in the roof of a barn and landed in a pile of cow mess, he was warm and fuzzy so he started to chirp, while chirping a cat came and got him…  The moral of the story is; if you are warm and fuzzy even in a pile of mess, remain quiet and enjoy the moment.

Stepping back and or stepping aside sometimes can be very beneficial.  And the next thing to be aware of… if you have succeeded; remain quiet and enjoy the moment of triumph in solitude with the Lord.

God sends us all ‘Helpers’ and His helper will be more than what we all deserve.  On the other hand, one of the most dreadful Message to hear…” I am from the government and I am here to help you”.   Not to say that government cannot be helpful.  So look to the Lord first.

Matthew 6:33-34New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Jesus came to teach us how to ‘Fish’ and not to depend on being fed.  We see this when He said… John 6:26

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. In Context | Full Chapter |

EVENING:

Writer’s notation… while today’s message is more like a Blog and not a message of devotion, we want to say that the focus is on what our Lord Jesus said about the days to come… the day described by our lord is already here, and He said when these days came, then shall we see Him coming in the clouds.

Yes; His Word will never change, He will never compromise, He forgives and he saves.  He came and He provided His Divine Redemption of all including those described in the events above.  He freely gave us His ‘SEAL’ which is His Blood to prepare us for the final ‘Passover’, but we must come and receive it.

It will not be a ‘Flood’ this time, so we do not need a boat, as we said… Professionals built the Titanic and amateurs built the Ark, but the Ark was designed by God.  And God is designing the next ‘ARK” and He is freely giving each of us His Grace that will be His ‘SEAL’.

The Bible said… 1 Thessalonians 4:17

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (in Context) 1 Thessalonians 4 (Whole Chapter)

So today knowing that our Lord Jesus only spoke the truth… His word could be fulfilled any day…

This is the reason why he said to bring His Good News to the ends of the earth.

The Good News…The Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John all gave us full account of Jesus, His life, His ministry and above all His Crucifixion and He Divine Resurrection.

The Good News is… Our redeemer lives, and we can trust Him knowing that His word is forever.  To come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him Pray:

Prayer: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Thank you for coming to the Lord, as we pray…

Father we thank You for the privilege through Jesus our Lord and Savior to bring Your Good News to many. Lord bless our Visitors and let Your blessings flow to each and everyone who seek You Lord.  We pray in Your Holy Name and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The ‘Happy-face’ of a circus clown, many are sad on the inside…

Tears of a clown… A phrase used to describe a person who appears joyful and chipper around people but is emotionally distraught. Usually this results from heartbreak or a severely stubbed toe.

The Christmas season should bring Joy to many, but to many it is a season of remembering the good times that are no longer here…  Loneliness is a state of mind, being alone and happy is ‘solitude’ in communication with the Almighty…

Hearing the Good News and rejecting God’s invitation will turn into ‘Bad’ News.  Why? To deny Christ, He said if you do, He will deny you before His Father.  One may say why do I need Christ? God is a merciful God, and He said He loves me… To deny Christ you are making Jesus to be a Liar, because He said no one comes to the Father unless through Him.

TEXT   The Good News for today are:

“The battle is not yours, but God’s. … Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.”

Text: “Do not be terrified. … The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you” (Deuteronomy 1:29-31).

“All this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47).

Devotional:

Philippians 4: 6 (The Amplified New Testament)

Verse 6: Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition (a defined request) with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God.

Notice the key words are:

  • Do not fret
  • Bring every circumstance to the Lord
  • By Prayer & Petition with Thanksgiving, continue your request to God

Give thanks to our Faithful Lord and Savior as He provides all our needs… as stated in:

Philippians 4:19 New International Version (NIV)

19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Coming to the Lord

Our Lord’s Grace and His Kindness and Graciousness are His gifts to those that serve and place Him first.

Live by the principle of… Spiritual maturity is developed by holding unto a FAITH that is FIRMLY ANCHORED IN CHRIST; and knowing that we are never on our own because Jesus is our High Priest.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Things to know that in the realms of reality, right now is what counts; not yesterday, nor tomorrow, for we know… “Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Conclusion:

Is anyone facing the need for His Supplication? Money, Loneliness, Family’s faith, Concerns for our future & seeking a closer walk with the Lord? All the answers lie in Jesus our Redeemer, as He knows what we have need of; all we have to do is ‘ASK’ in HIS Name…

John 16: 24

New International Version (NIV)

24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

His Faithfulness

Jesus said in Faith ASK, and Ask in His Name with Thanksgiving, believing you will be receiving your petition…

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign eternal God in One of the Father in Your Holy Trinity, Lord we Praise You and give You our all as we are privileged to serve You.    Lord bless this day as we look to You in Faith and thank You for our visitors coming to this Good News site for Your Glory. Lord bless us all in Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, we are blessed and privileged to be in Your Holy Presence through as we acknowledge that no one comes to You unless through You our Lord and Savior.  Lord direct our pathway and lead us to Green Pastures and the Water of Life.  Lord You are the Living Water that we shall never thirst as we come to You and Pray these in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

‘Walking the Walk’…. To where? Do you know the way?

Moses the leader of millions, he personally may not have known the way to Canaan.  But we did read that when Moses fled Egypt to a place where he met his wife, he did travel 216 miles to Midian which is about 2 days by car. But Moses walked and this could take maybe up to 5 or 6 days walking during sunlight.

While Moses did not know the way, God ‘Called’ him, and directed his pathway to Median.  Moses’ calling was a very unusual circumstance…

Exodus 3:2

There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. In Context | Full Chapter |

Exodus 3:3

So, Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Exodus 3:4

When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.” In Context | Full Chapter |

So, the way is already mapped by God for each of us, but we must listen and do as Moses went over and saw the strange bush on fire but being burnt up…  Today we call this a ‘Hologram’ which is still relatively undeveloped since it was discovered in 1962.

God did say to Moses… remove your sandals, because the ground was Holy, and it was more than holy as God knew that Moses had to be grounded to be close by.

No, we are not writing science-fiction, but our Father in Heaven is the creator of all things and Jesus His Son conducted all the undertaking of the Father.  Our unlearnt skill which is still in the infancy of advance technology cannot comprehend what Jesus said… “if you have faith like a mustard-seed, you can move mountains”

Matthew 17:20 New International Version (NIV)

20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

1 Corinthians 13:2

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. In Context | Full Chapter |

What did Jesus mean when He said if we do not have love we are nothing?  Because with Love, the gift of prophecy even with faith, we will not be empowered, as without love the use of such power would be used against our fellow humans.  Therefore, Love conquerors all, in His Holy Name.

Romans 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

So, today as Jesus said… we are a chosen people, called to a royal priesthood, and as God’s ‘Special’ possession.  Jesus Word said… you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

TEXT: 1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. In Context | Full Chapter |

Are you ready to be ‘Glorified’ by the Lord?

Romans 8:30

And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

In Context | Full Chapter |

What a privilege He gave us…

John 15:15

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

Celebrate the above today… Praise the Majesty of Jesus Emanuel. “God with Us”!

Giving Thanks to the Lord:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come… Lord Jesus because You are the Light of our lives, and we are called by You Lord we are privileged to serve You for Your Glory.  Lord as we go in Faith let this mission be a beacon on the hill so that others may come and know You Lord.  Lord we thank You for your Divine providence and we thank You for our Visitors as we ask Your blessing on each and every one and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Actions speak louder than Word…

Consider these actions…

  • A Daily Walk with our Lord through His Word
  • Love your neighbors
  • Give the Lord the First-Fruit
  • Bring whatever challenges you to the Lord
  • Execute your endeavors for His Glory
  • Thank the Lord for His Mercies
  • Seek Him and Praise Him for His Love and His Providence
  • Bring the Good News of His Salvation to others
  • Keep looking up…

What is life’s incentive? Work hard and be rewarded, or work smart and be successful? Self-Reliance is not a reliable- strategic plan, but it is the root of what is sown in our mind.

There are some root-stock that are bad and cannot bear good-fruit, so we must use caution of what we sow in our mind that the root-stock will be good and the fruit that we produce will be worthy of a good harvest.

So, reliance on God is the pathway to successful life with Christ, because our Lord gave us the best ‘Incentive’ but this is most often over-looked or ignored.

TEXT: Matthew 6: 33-34 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Remember of all of God’s creation we are His most loved… all things were ‘Spoken’ into existence, but when He said…” Let us make man in our likeness” He said “Let-us” you may have heard some teaching that there are more than one-God, This is not so, God’s reference to ‘Let us’ was addressed to Jesus who was there from the beginning of it all.   So, when Man was created we were made by Hand and God breathed life into us.

God gave us Free-Will, He trusted us but the forces of evil entered our lives and mankind fell to the temptation of the evil one; read in the event of the Garden of Eden. Genesis 3:13

Even today we still have the ‘Free-Will and the temptation of the forces of this world continues. God continues to ‘Trust’ us but we continue to disappoint Him.  Why did it take 40 years for the Israelite to travel to Canaan? Remember this is a journey that we can do on-foot within 11-15 days. It was God’s intent to teach them His principles, instilling in them the need for ‘Faith’.

By following His instruction in the above Text, we can avoid that 40-year training, as we go in Faith trusting in Him.

An old English story related the experience of a Dutchman who had settled down at the Cape of Good Hope, he saw a poor native reading the Bible and said scornfully: This book is not for you or the likes of you.” The native person answered quietly: “Yes, it is for me, sir.” The Dutchman said… How do you know?” - “Well my name is mentioned in it”, “your name?  Where?”. “Sir, said the man, pointing to the verse…This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptances that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” … Sinner, that is my name, that’s why the book is for me. The Dutchman did not know what to say to this.  Yes, God’s Holy Word is a book for us all.

We can say with full conviction that the Bible is the only book for us all, and we can draw riches for time eternity.  Happy are all who read it in simplicity and sincerity of heart like that native man who recognized himself to be a Sinner before a Holy and Righteous God that show not preference, as He is not prejudice and do not take sides because of race, color or creed.

Let us not ‘pre-judge’ anyone and let us revisit His Commandment which is founded on Love.

1 Timothy 1:15

New International Version (NIV)

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners —of whom I am the worst.

The Grace and Love of our Lord

His Sovereignty, His Majesty, His Love, His Redemption….

His Omniscient… Jesus is with us always, even to the ends of the age:

Matthew 28:20  teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 (in Context) Matthew 28 (Whole Chapter) Mark 14:7

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we reflect upon You our King who suffered and died in our place, Lord Your Divine Gift of Your Precious Blood as our Seal of Redemption we accept Lord.  Father we thank You for sending Your Son Jesus who sits at Your Right-Hand Father and Jesus our Messiah we thank You for being our Mediator to The Father.  Lord we praise You and we thank You for our Visitors as we ask Your blessings on us all, Lord we thank You for the privilege to bring Your Good News of Your Resurrection to the world, and to you Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday 11-29-2016

Tuesday:               Talk is ‘Cheap’

Focus: Talk may be cheap but politicians charge a lot under the Pay for Play program.

Talk is beneficial when The Word is presented, the method of how the ‘Talk’ is presented may not be cheap, as Air-Time on Radio, Television and other media do cost money.  But with Christ all things are possible.

Our ‘small-cog’ mission here presented in three languages are in our fifth year and it is by the Grace and providence of the Lord, that we have never received any funding nor do we ever solicit money.  Considering that the sites do reach a thousand (more or less) readers each week, we are privileged to publish the sites for God’s Glory.  We thank you all for coming and especially you are returning readers.

Jesus did His first ‘Mountainside’ Chat widely known as ‘The Sermon on the Mount’…

The setting for Jesus ‘Inauguration’ speech was on the Mount overlooking the sea of Galilee.  It was a natural amphitheater as the acoustics allowed Jesus’ message to be heard by the multitude that gathered.

Matthew 5 New International Version (NIV)

Introduction to the Sermon on the Mount

5 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them.

The Beatitudes; He said:

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

The Sermon on the mount is a teaching by the Lord that outlined the Love, Providence and Redemption of His followers, it also was a warning to those that rejected His teaching.  As we said yesterday, Jesus never ‘sugar-coated’ His messages.

Fate is not a destiny… Fate is the result of not preparing in Faith.  Faith is the ‘Power’ that God endowed for us and He said if we have faith we can move mountains…

Looking at the difference of Fate Vs Faith, as someone said, “Your worries end when you go in Faith”.

Jesus said we are to bring His Good News to the ends of the earth.  He also told His disciples to go, take nothing.  He said all their needs would be taken care of in each town.  He also said if they did not receive you leave and shake the very dust off your feet.

The Lord never told anyone to build monumental cathedrals, expansive campus, and to create a ‘Brand’ of religion. Jesus never taught ‘Religion’ He taught Love and Redemption through our Faith in Him.  All that Jesus asked in His final message in Revelation is to ‘Repent’ and He said that all those that believe and remain faithful will receive ‘The Crown of Life’

In the quest for success or fame many are going out using His Name sending the message of prosperity. If we make our mission focused of gaining wealth and ritualistically ‘Giving to Get” this is not giving because of ‘Love’ it is just a trade-off for personal gain.

So, let us answer the question…Is God keeping us waiting? No, He wants each of us to prepare to meet Him. And His message of preparation is…

Revelation 3: 5-6 New King James Version (NKJV)

5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

6 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

Matthew 26: 41 NIV

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come to You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and You intercedes for us, Lord. Lord be with our Visitors today and fill us all with Your Holy Spirit and direct our pathways as we seek to be led by Your divine guidance as the Author and Finisher of our Faith.  And by Faith we come and accept You Lord klnowi9ng that all things work for good to those that love You, and in acknowledgement of Your Word, that You will never leave us nor forsake us, Lord we give You the Praise and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday 11-28-2016

Is it ‘Real; or a counterfeit?... If walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it is a duck.

You can purchase counterfeit high-end watches for a few dollars, it looks like the real thing but it isn’t.

What’s the difference? The real one will do what the manufacturers say it will do, the knock-off is just a cheap quartz watch made to simulate the real ones.

In life, we have wannabe actors, singers and doctors. To go a bit further, we may have had false teachers, preachers and false prophets. Notice we say ‘May have’ because it is not for us to judge others. On the other hand, being politically correct seems to be the order of the day.

Jesus told it as it was, He never sugar-coated His warnings.  God through His Son… told Adam; Genesis 2: 15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

So, the command of God to Adam was ‘Real’ and God’s Word is real when He said… “for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” These words are forever emblazoned upon mankind, (to be politically correct it is now Humankind)

It is because of God’s true and authentic Word that we have CHRIST-MAS.

Today we want to focus of the ‘Real’ meaning of CHRIST-MAS, as this is Christ for the masses.  At the announcement of Jesus’ Birth, the message was presented with JOY… Luke 2:10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. In Context |

Notice the statement ends with…’To all people’ This is our take on Christmas as a true acronym of Our Savior and His mission to the Masses.

This Christmas, meaning ‘CHRIST’ The Anointed One; Jesus son of the Most-High came as God with us! Emanuel, and CHRISTMAS… Meaning; CHRIST saving the Masses and Christ-in-Person…

Devotional:  We thank You Lord for coming, Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Holy Trinity; we look for Your second coming soon.

Coming to the Lord: We at Good News Forever extends the invitation from our Lord to each and every one to come to Him and receive His divine Grace of Redemption… go to our Green Pastures page and accept our Lord’s invitation to come and ‘Know Him, not just ‘know of Him’  The divine experience of ‘Knowing our Lord’ will provide a Peace that is un-explainable as when you place your Faith in Jesus, He takes over your burdens, and he said He will never leave you nor forget you. When you accept Jesus, you are born into His family and then you are a joint-heir in His Kingdom, what a privilege He has given us freely… Take His Priceless gift now for ‘Free’.

Principle: Only in Jesus Christ we can be Redeemed… Jesus Paid-It-All

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Colossians 2:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV)

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Titus 2:13-14 New King James Version (NKJV)

13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Gracious Savior let us enlighten others and let Your servants be equipped as we shall say we will never be ashamed in trusting You Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Grace.  Lord bless our Visitors as we go in faith knowing You our Redeemer Lives. we pray in Your Holy Name and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore... Amen.

Sunday 11-27-2016

This is the beginning of Advent, remembering Christ’s Birth and looking to His return…

The Good News… Matthew 1: 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”[g] (which means “God with us”).

Preparing for Christ- ‘mas’

The season of Advent is represented by the four Sundays preceding Christmas Eve.

The Season of Advent declares the Birth of Christ… Emanuel, GOD with US.

He declared that He was at the day of Creation with God the Father…

John 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. In Context

As we draw near to Christmas the season of Advent… This is all about the Miracle of Christ, and Christ for the Masses as he came to redeem the masses. Therefore, CHRIST- ‘MAS’ represents the Visit of Christ the Messiah and the coming return of Christ the Redeemer and the Judge…

Jesus in no new kid on the block… He was declared on the first day, when God said…

Genesis 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.  John 1:2 He was with God in the beginning.

And Jesus is Sovereign… Colossians 1:16

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

His Faithfulness:

We are assured in Psalm 56:11 In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

What a privilege our Lord Jesus has given us all…  Keep looking up, as the Bible said:  Acts 1:11

“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Devotional: Lord today we seek to remain focused on You Lord as You are the Center of our lives, Lord let us leave the Pride, Deceit, self-confidence, any accomplishment at the door and enter as a Child… Lord we thank You for remembering us as we celebrate the season of Advent of Your Divine Birth, Lord as we look at the four most important events that ever occurred… These are: Your Birth by a Virgin, Your Crucifixion and Resurrection, and the best is yet to come… Your return when You will be seen from the east to the west.

Lord we thank You today for Your Divine Redemption as we are privileged to tell others of Your Grace and Your ‘Priceless-Gift’.  We give You our Praises and we go in Faith knowing that we will never be ashamed in trusting You Lord Jesus.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we come to thank You for Your Grace, Your Love and Your Redemption. Lord, we know that unless You build it, it shall not last. Lord we thank You for being the Solid Rock on which we stand. Lord bless this mission and let it be a blessing for many, as we dedicate this to You for Your Glory.  Lord let this endeavor be fruitful and we thank You Lord for the Visitors and we ask Your Divine Blessing on each one. In Your Precious Name, we pray Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The Joy of the Lord is ‘freely-given’ receive it as it lasts forever…

Focus:  While you receive the JOY of the Lord… Do NOT Miss-Use it.

The Prodigal Son is the example of miss-using the Joy… for many the conclusion of the Son’s action of taking his inheritance and leaving home is based on the ‘Grass is ‘Greener’ on the other side.  The real conclusion is that the Son lacked ‘Love’. His love for his brother and his father.

Luke 15:11-32 [Full Chapter]

The Parable of the Lost Son] Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So, he divided his property between them. “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. ...

Here was a Youngman with all the comfort of a loving father, all the things he needed, home, abundance of supplies as his father was the owner of an estate with hired help, cattle sheep, goats and an abundance of food and wealth.  This is a Parallel of each of our lives… you may say who are we to make this statement?   Because the travesty of this Youngman is also the parallel of what Adam and Eve did to God. The chose look away from God; they took the first step of being deceived by the devil. And on the other hand, their ‘Love’ for God was taken for granted as they had all the comfort that God provided.

So, relating this to our own lives, we are given many creature comforts, Home, car, food, care and all our needs, but we do the same things over and over again, no different from Adam & Eve, David and Bathsheba, the Prodigal son, and this is caused by the one root problem…lacking our Love of the Lord. You may say I love the Lord, but I still do these things.

Dealing with Temptation:  None of us is strong enough to overcome temptation in our own strength, but God will give us the strength; see Philippians 4:13. I can do all this through him who gives me strength (NIV).  1 Corinthians 10:13 states: "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able; but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it" (NKJV).

Note that it is God who provides the way of escape. Talk to the Lord many times a day, asking for His help. Read your Bible and fill your mind with thoughts from His Word. The Word of God will have a purifying effect on your life; see Psalm 119:11.

The story of the Prodigal Son also had another meaning, while the older son stayed with his father, he never once through of his brother, nor tried to locate him, and even when the wayward brother returned, he resented him as he was worried that his share of the estate would now be further compromised. What we see here is the lack of brotherly love. His resentment of his brother returning was an offense to the father that expressed his love for him as the father expressed his love for him too.

Realizing that Jesus said…  Mark 12 The Greatest Commandment

28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”  29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[f] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[g]There is no commandment greater than these.”

John 14:15Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit] “If you love me, keep my commands. In Context | Full Chapter

Today do not depend on yourself, let the Holy Spirit be indwelling in you and remember the love of Christ, as He provides the Holy Spirit when we keep His commands.

Prayer: Heavenly Father through Jesus our Lord and Savior we come and acknowledged Your Love and we affirm our Love for You Lord. Lord Jesus today let Your Holy Spirit be upon us as we are like the prodigal son. Lord direct our pathway as we seek to serve You Lord as You so commanded. Lord let our endeavors be for Your Glory as You shall increase and we shall decrease. Lord bless our Visitors and grant to each one Your favors, we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You be the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Getting ready for 2017 and beyond… Make a sustainable plan, Use God’s Plan to last forever.

Jeremiah 29:11 [Full Chapter]

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

A Hollywood screenwriter/actor said…” If you want to make God laughs, tell him about your plans”

Our plan will oftentimes fail as it is interdependent on mankind. Even when the project is realized as per plan. Why?  there will be some bickering. Why? Success brings money and then there is the factor of greed.  In the world of being an entrepreneur all’s well until ‘value’ is created, then someone in the group will start to try and Gain more than what he originally agreed to.   More often than not this is the outcome.

God’s plan for each of our lives is to enrich us in His Word… And when you have His Word hidden in your heart you are rich beyond comprehension. No one can take His Word from you, as His Word is His covenant of His Grace, and His Grace is sufficient.

Matthew 22: 37-39 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

The early church was founded by a few and the benefactor was a ‘Merchant of Purple cloth’ (This is an example of God’s Plan)

Acts 17: 14-15 Lydia’s Conversion in Philippi14 One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message. 15 When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.

The follower of Christ experienced many travesties, and even the death of Stephen who was stoned to death, and welcomed home by Jesus as Stephen prayed and said… Lord receive my Spirit.  This is in the city of Antioch where the first Christian Church was founded and followers of Christ were first called ‘Christians’.  Stephen’s death could be attributed to what the Bible said… without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.

The ‘Sustainable’ Plan from the Lord is more than the superficial success of the created value that man will covet.  His Kingdom is Eternal and this is What he offered and made available to you and us. We are claiming True-Victory and not the temporary things that maybe stolen.  Walk in Victory knowing that your treasures are in His Kingdom where no one can claim what was endowed by our Lord.  Matthew 6:19

God’s plan may not be clear to you, but His plan will never fail. You only must trust Him and go in faith… Jesus told His disciples to go and take nothing… for the disciples Jesus laid out a ‘network’ of benefactors that are always ready to support His ministry, because all work in His name are ‘His’ Ministry, they are not ours.  If they are of man, then it is a ‘business’.

God’s Plan for each of us… Yes, we have Victory in Christ… We are made more than conquerors in Him, He has empowered us to be a Joint-Heir to His Kingdom, a kingdom that will never be shaken.  (These are Jesus’ gift to you and us all, when you come to Him) Romans 8:17 [Full Chapter]

Prayer… Heavenly Father we thank You in Jesus our Lord and Savior. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Divine Grace, Your Love, Your Providence and Your Divine Redemption as we can claim Victory in You Lord.  Lord be with our Visitors as we gather to give You our love and our Praises knowing that You Lord Jesus our Redeemer Lives.  We go in Faith knowing that it is by Your Grace that we shall see you on that day Lord. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Thursday 11-24-2016

It’s Thanksgiving Day… Everyday should be Thanksgiving Day, God’s Grace is 24x7x365 days

The ever Faithfulness of our Lord… His Grace is year-round and it is not just for today that you are provided with His Love, His Care and His Salvation…

Try this in the morning… Just come to the Lord and say...” Good Morning Lord Jesus” a true from your heart hello to the Lord. It like waking up and greeting a family member. Just talk with Him and listen for His feedback.

Jesus is not the 3rd Party in our Prayers.

Jesus is not just a ‘By-stander’ He is our Mediator

Jesus said… No one comes to the Father without Him…. So, when we pray He is in our Midst.

All prayers are made to God the Father in the Trinity.  Jesus is ‘One’ with the Father as God in the Trinity.  Jesus is our Triune God of Father Son and Holy Spirit.

Coming into the presence of the Father without Jesus is like breaking protocol… why? Jesus said no one come to the Father unless through Him.

•              There are no One on One Prayers to the Father… why? Because Jesus said; “No one comes to the Father unless through me”

•              Just like when Stephen was being stoned by the crowd, he looked up and prayed… Jesus receive my Spirit, then he saw Jesus standing at the right-hand of the Father.

So, when we end our prayers to the Father and abruptly say…” In Jesus Name, we pray” are we making an inference to Jesus being absent? This is out of protocol as Jesus was present and you had to be speaking to Him as well as the Father, therefore we must say… To You Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy Name, and to end with a salutation as in His Prayer (The Lord’s Prayer) ends with, ‘For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory’… Amen,

A Thanksgiving Story…  Lord, thank you for this sink of dirty dishes; we have plenty of food to eat.

Thank you for this pile of dirty, stinky laundry; we have plenty of nice clothes to wear.

And I would like to thank you, Lord, for those unmade beds; they were so warm and comfortable last night.

I know that many have no bed. My thanks to you, Lord, for this bathroom, complete with all the splattered mirrors, soggy, grimy towels and dirty lavatory; they are so convenient.

Thank you for this finger-smudged refrigerator that needs cleaning.   It has served us faithfully for many years.

It is full of cold drinks and enough leftovers for two or three meals.

Thank you, Lord, for this oven that absolutely must be cleaned today; It has baked so many things over the years.

The whole family is grateful for that tall grass that we all enjoy the yard.  My kids are healthy and able to run and play.

Lord, the presence of all these chores awaiting me says You have richly blessed my family.  I shall do them cheerfully and I shall do them gratefully. Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings, Thank you, Lord, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf. Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long as possible, Thank you, Lord, that I can see. Many are blind. Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising,

Thank you, Lord, that I have the strength to rise.      There are many who are bedridden.

Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burned and tempers are short, my children are so loud,

Thank you, Lord, for my family. There are many who are lonely. Even though our breakfast table never looks like the pictures in magazines and the menu is at times not balanced, there are many who are hungry.

Even though the routine of my job is often monotonous, thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to work.  There are many who have no job. Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest, Thank you, Lord, for life.... Anon

Prayer:  Father in Heaven, in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus bless this day as we thank You and affirm that all things are from You Lord. Bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Peace, To You be the Power and the Glory Amen.

Praise: English /Spanish / Chinese:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jWOfi5wA9Y

Wednesday 11-23-2016

The year 2016 is almost over, what did you accomplish? There’s still time do something…

The countdown to 2017 is Thirty-Nine days…  There’s still time to do somethings. Spread the Good news…

Spread the Good News of His Faithfulness: God loves us all, regardless of our background, and this is the Good News to all, Jesus came to save Sinners, and regardless of us being: a Moslem, an Atheist, Jewish of a non-believer, Christ died for the sins of all, you may notice that Christian was not among the mix, why we are called Christians only after one has come to the Lord, being born in a so-called Christian society do not make one a Christian.

Pray for God’s protection over our nation and especially the Thanksgiving Parade 2016.  Let us remember to give thanks to the ‘Giver’ and not just for the Gifts.

His Faithfulness: 2 Kings 4-8 New International Version (NIV)  The Widow’s Olive Oil

The wife of a man from the company of the prophets cried out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that he revered the Lord. But now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves.”

Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?”

“Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.”

Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few. Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side.”

She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.” But he replied, “There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing.

She went and told the man of God, and he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.”

Principle: Jesus Christ the same Yesterday, Today and Forever… He is Faithful and He loves us so much to have died as a Sacrifice for our Sins, and He Rose from death, seen by thousands, and this is among the most verified facts of all times. HE LIVES….

His Warning:  Remember our Lord said: “Vengeance is Mine” but He is ready to receive you by His Grace by His Resurrection He conquered death.

Action:  Because we are made in His likeness, we also shall never die, the Bible said, “after death, the Judgment”, this means that death in the early realms but in the spiritual realms, we shall live, so therefore; choose where we will spend eternity, He has given us His Salvation, the Good News is; He is ready to receive you now, and His Salvation is fully paid for by Him at Calvary.

Coming to our Savior: He said come unto Him and He will give us rest…

PrayerHeavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer our Lord and Savior and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus today as we seek You and come in Your Holy presence, Lord let this day be filled with Your Grace, Gracious Savior, we thank You for our Visitors and Lord grants us all safety and to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore.. Amen

To God be the Glory…

Could you use any help? Why did Jesus gather twelve disciples, did He need their help?

Focus: Jesus did reach out to twelve men that He chose. He gathered these men to be their mentor…

When Jesus was with the Father at the Creation Jesus/Yeshua He did not need any help… He was God’s helper and solely by His doing all things were created.

Colossians 1:16 Amplified Bible (AMP)

16 For [a]by Him all things were created in heaven and on earth, [things] visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [that is, by His activity] and for Him.

We on the other hand do need help, and the Lord will send helpers… think back in your life how many times you have received help that were unsolicited.   Hebrews 13:2 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Do not neglect to extend hospitality to strangers [especially among the family of believers—being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

Have you even been saved from a disastrous situation? Many of us can say yes…So, we must recognize that it is because of God’s Divine interaction that you were saved from the event.  Many of us simply just ‘move-on’ not thinking of the fateful moment when help was rendered, to many it is a ‘live goes-on’ attitude.

We all have heard the sales pitch of selling life insurance policies, and they are very direct to the point, pointing to death of a spouse and what would the family do in such an event.  The take-away from such dramatic depiction of life and death is a reality, but it is so unappealing because of the factual message.

To look at what Christ said about life and what lies beyond, and how He provided a way for us all to be a part of the Best is Yet to Come… A Life in His Holy presence.

John 3:15 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life [after physical death, and will actually live forever].

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

We have the Assurance which is different from ‘Insurance’, insurance insures you to the extent of your losses, God’s Assurance is a total Assurance beyond your known losses.  What is the ‘unknown’ losses? It is ‘Spiritual’ death. And Jesus provided His Assurance that we never will suffer this loss.

John 5:24 “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, the person who hears My word [the one who heeds My message], and believes and trusts in Him who sent Me, has (possesses now) eternal life [that is, eternal life actually begins—the believer is transformed], and does not come into judgment and condemnation, but has passed [over] from death into life.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Prayer: Heavenly Father we thank You and because of Jesus Your Son and our Redeemer, we thank You Lord Jesus knowing that as you greeted Stephen, so will us who solemnly say that we heard Your message and trust in You our Redeemer, and You have declared that eternal life begins.  Lord Jesus we lift our Visitors up to You and seek Your Divine Blessings upon us all, as we go in Faith knowing that Your Word is eternal. To You Lord Jesus be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Monday 11-21-2016

What are your plans for this week? The Season of Advent starts on the 27th

This is Thanksgiving week in the USA, on Thursday millions of families will gather for ‘Thanksgiving-dinners’ and the day after is ‘Black-Friday’ when the stores are opened to put themselves in the ‘black’ As we know ‘Red-ink’ means losses, so the adage of Black-Friday is probably created to put them back into the black.

So, this Thursday we start hearing Christmas song, that are more commercialized with the ‘Holiday’ spirit. Christians will commence the season of Advent being the four weeks ahead of Christmas day.

Fate versus Faith… It is better by Faith, as Fate is most often an accident. God’s plan for us is by Faith…

Fate is not a destiny… Fate is the result of not preparing in Faith.  Faith is the ‘Power’ that God endowed for us and He said if we have faith we can move mountain…

TEXT:     Matthew 17:20

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” In Context | Full Chapter

Good News:

Coming to the Lord:

Faith cannot save you without His Grace.  As said in Ephesians 2:8-9Amplified Bible (AMP)

For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation]. Amplified Bible (AMP)

Sunday: 11-20-2016

Why is Gold a building block in heaven? A place not made by human hands, nor any material produced by man.

We have Lab-grown Diamond, we have Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) but Gold we have not been able to reproduce. It is still 100% God-Made

We, you and all are still 100% God-Made, we haven’t yet made humans, Cloning is an attempt, but God will tell us start with our own genes, our own blood, our own flesh and bones, as He will say… “Do not use anything I made, get your own”

Recently there was an article that said Gold could be $5,000 per Oz.  You can have a ton of gold but you cannot survive without a glass of water.

:          What can you bring to God today? He provided all things, but he needs something from us…

While all our needs are met by the Lord, yet He still need something from us…

Jesus told John (The writer of Revelation to write down everything that he saw and was told) the message to the church of Laodicea is also written to us.  Why? Because the people of Laodicea were very much like us, they were an affluent advanced society, they had well laid out city, medical services even a hospital, and lived in houses that are comparable in size to our contemporary homes in our richest zip codes.

The message of them being ‘Lukewarm’ and their elite attitudes were very class conscious as they lived in a comfort-zone that made them complacent to the Lord.  While they were believers they lack the zeal to reach out to others.

They Lord warned them that they were neither hot nor cold and He would ‘spit’ them out like a Luke-warm beverage than is supposed to be serve either hot or cold.  We all have tasted the left-over juice that was once chilled at serving. This is what the Lord is saying, we may not be fit to be served.

Today the invitation from the Lord to come…18 So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also, buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see.

So, the answer what can we bring to the Lord today?  We are to bring ourselves, be filled with the zeal and to yield to Him and He said open our hearts, enter through the open-door that only He has the key to, as He said20 “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

EVENING:

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3 And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come, Lord Jesus thank You for Your invitation to join You and be a part of Your Kingdom…. Lord we thank You for this privilege as we share this Good News with our Visitors. Lord be with us all as we go in faith knowing that all things will work for good through Your Divine providence. We pray in Your Holy name and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Saturday: 11-19-2016

Getting there is only half the fun, the best is yet to come…

As we reflect at our childhood years, reaching the year 2016, do you think back and say… If I can only turn back time?

Today is a new day and it is a day that we can make it a good day, and it could be a great-day by the Grace of the Lord.

So, let’s make it a Great-Day as the Lord has made it and He said fret not yourself…

Let’s define a Good-Day:

A day that you awaken and know that all’s well on the Homefront,

A day that you have great anticipation that the Lord is in Charge,

A day that you can call others and wish them well and spread the Joy of having the Peace within,

A day that you can spread the Good-News that the Best is yet to Come,

A day that what you are worrying about, you suddenly realize that the Will of the Lord is for you to have a Joyful day,

And what you though would be a mountain ahead is a straight-road to a good day.

Some may say that all the above is wishful-thinking, and we agree, why? Make them your wishes looking to the Lord as He gave you His secret… This is what the Lord said… Matthew 6:33 [Full Chapter]

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Jesus enabled you and us as He said: Matthew 5: 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

So today rejoice in the Lord as He made you the light of the world to be a shining beacon leading others to Him.

So, come and know this amazing Redeemer, the Son of God, the Image of the Invisible God, who is Messiah. We Praise our Lord Jesus as He did not forget you and us, He is always present, the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.

Jesus said…John 15:15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus our Redeemer sent by You we come to thank You, and Lord Jesus by Your Righteousness we are privileged to be in Your Holy Presence.  Lord today we thank You for Your Love, Your Providence and Your Divine Redemption by Your Grace as we go forward in faith knowing that You our Redeemer Lives.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors as we ask Your blessings upon each and grant Your favors so that we all will have your Joy, Your peace and Your Assurance knowing that the Best is yet to come as revealed in Your Word. We give You Preeminence and lift You up before all knowing that we shall see You on that day, To You Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Topic: Gaining strength and be Victorious…

I can do all things…

Philippians 4:13

I can do all this through him who gives me strength. In Context | Full Chapter |

Isaiah 40:29 [Full Chapter]

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Gaining Strength through the power of the Lord is no mystery, it is Divinely given.  While we seek His blessings, we must be aware that our innate (inborn, natural) instinct is to overuse the Strength that leads to a state of abandonment.

King Saul at the end of his reign lost the Divinely given power, as the anointing of the Lord was removed and given to David.

Going without Jesus is like jumping out of an airplane with a backpack and not a parachute. (A humorous story) … A lawyer, a doctor, a little boy and a priest were all out on a small plane for an afternoon flight when the plane developed engine trouble. In-spite of the pilot's best efforts, the plane started to go down. Finally, the pilot yelled out to his passengers that they'd better jump, he grabbed a parachute and bail out.

Unfortunately, that left only three remaining parachutes. Grabbing one, the doctor said, "I am a doctor and I save lives, so I must live," and he jumped.
The lawyer then grabbed a parachute and said, "I am the smartest man in the world. I definitely deserve to live." Then he jumped.

Looking at the young boy, the priest said, "Son, I have been fortunate to have lived a long and full life. You are young and have your whole life ahead of you. Take the last parachute and live in peace."
Handing the parachute back to the priest, the little boy said, "Don't worry, Father. The smartest man in the world just jumped out with my backpack

The prerequisite of receiving the Divine Strength of the Lord is encapsulated in the following verse…

1 Corinthians 13:2

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. In Context | Full Chapter |

So, the above concludes that we can receive Strength through our Lord by His Grace we are given Power…

Luke 10:19

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. In Context | Full Chapter |

Today we affirm the Power of God, through Jesus Christ our Redeemer, as He Lives!

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. In Context | Full Chapter

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come… Lord You have said where two or more are gathered in Your Name You are in our Midst.  Lord we thank You for Your ever presence, Your Grace and Your Divine Redemption. Lord today we thank you for our Visitors and we ask you blessings on each and every one as we go in Faith knowing that the Best is Yet to Come. Lord Jesus we give You our Praises and we make You Preeminent in our lives. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Thursday: 11-17-2016

Focus: No one ever did what Jesus did…No one ever endured what he did,

Jesus said He was not of this world, He ’Ascended’ to The Father

Thoughts for the day:  We have a Comforter – The Holy Spirit.  Be Calm He’s is still in charge!

TEXT: John 15:26  Amplified Bible
But when the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, Whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth Who comes (proceeds) from the Father, He [Himself] will testify regarding Me.
John 15:25-27 (in Context) John 15 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary: Our Lord spent 40 days with His disciples after He rose from the dead… He promised that He would send us a Comforter, and He did, His Holy Spirit descended on the day of Pentecost

Pentecost comes 50 days after Easter, Easter is the 2nd most important event ever recorded in the history of mankind. Easter commemorates the Resurrection of Jesus who triumphantly rose from the grave, and Divinely Ascended 40 days after His Resurrection. (The 1st most important event in mankind’s history was the Virgin Birth of our Lord Jesus, the 3rd most important was the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven.) The Bible went on to say that Jesus will return, “The Best is yet to Come”

Today we look at a world that is so separated by man’s greed and exploitation. Syria (Antioch) is known to have been the birth place of the Church of Christianity in the city of Antioch, now part of Turkey...  As we see a divided world of Moslems, Jews, Christians and other beliefs of Buddhism and others, we have a world that has drifted apart from God with their own agenda to dominate their regions and to expand their religion on a global basis. Notice the word used is “ReligionReligion is not Salvation, only Jesus Christ represents Salvation as Jesus is the only one that Died for our Sins. No one else died for others, except Jesus who made the Sacrifice to Redeem us from Sin.

The Best is Yet to Come…  Because Jesus Paid-It-All and we are no longer mortgaged to this world, Jesus our Redeemer paid the debt of Sins, through His Atoning blood we have be stamped ‘Paid-In-Full’ no longer are we grounded here… Just as He ascended to His Kingdom, He said…” I go to prepare a place for You, and ‘If’ I go I will return and where He is you shall be also”.  The ‘If’ was His Caveat meaning that He was going but ‘if’ You did not know Him and accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, He would not be building you a place. But we can be assured that His Word will never change and He will return and gather those that are Sealed with His Blood of Atonement; as his mission is complete and you and I are His project.  Come to Christ and be privileged to be included in His Kingdom. Through Him we were made Joint-Heirs and more than conquerors.

EVENING:

Romans 8: 1-4 (We urge you to read all of Romans 8 to realize the full privilege Jesus gave us all)

 1. Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

To know Christ…

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name, I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus we come, Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we thank You for the privilege of serving You Lord. Bless each and every one as we seek Your Holy Spirit to fill us and surround us. Lord we thank you for Your Providence and we go in faith knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us. In Your Name, we pray Lord Jesus and to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The Holy Bible…Still the Best-Seller of all times…

Over 148 Million books were published in 2015 and yet the Holy Bible is still the No.1 Bests selling book of all times.

Over5 Billion copies have been sold or distributed since it was first published.

We wrote about a small boy that found the family Bible which was covered with dust, as he began turning the pages, he said…” Mommy is it true that the Bible is God’s book?” his mommy said yes, it is, he then said “then we better give it back to Him because we never use it”, is this describing our own use of the Bible?  Today we have the Bible online www.biblegateway.org and many version on our smart phones.  One thing for sure the word of God is sharper than any two-edged swords.

Join the Winning Team, know the results of the match before it ends; remain calm you are already in victory

Think on this: The choice is yours, but God did say He knew us all before you were born, and He has good things in store for you, so do you wonder why you have not yet received His abundance?

TEXT: Matthew 6: 25-34

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

New King James Version (NKJV)

Commentary: Which of these would be more precious to you…

  • Wealth versus Health
  • Be rich but have a life full of strife or be comfortable and secure
  • Have money but no wisdom
  • In a mansion going over the cliff versus a cottage soundly anchored and be safe
  • Being humble going to a place of Splendor versus full of pride but going to hell
  • In your canoe on still water or in a yacht on a raging sea
  • In your luxury car bogged down in traffic or be sitting in the shade in a green pasture

Most of us will choose the following: Health, Security, Wisdom, Safety, Splendor, Still water and Green Pastures.

Come to Christ today and be made a Joint Heir… Come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Prayer:

Father we come today in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that You are the Light of the World, and that on the first day, as our Creator said…” Let there be light” and there was light, Lord we also read that You our Creator did not create the Sun until the fourth day, so therefore Lord, it was Your Divine Radiance that illuminated the darkness.

Focus: Our Plans are ‘Planned mistakes’ only God’s Plan will materialize

Designed to fail… There are a few aircrafts that are well-known as ill-fated planes. Fortunately, today’s technological advances have made airplanes much safer.

A successful plan or a ‘proven-product’ can be a ‘cash-cow’ for the owners. In marketing the saying that ‘success breeds success’ and everyone loves a winner are the accolades that the winning team will receive.  But there are also the ‘Also-ran’ the runners-up and the ‘losers’.

As we go through life, our plans are becoming more complex, a typical marketing plan or product evaluation cannot just ‘go to’ market without testing, focus groups, field testing are just a few evaluation steps to take.  If the producers hurry up the process, the end-result will be a failure resulting in major recall and credibility damage. We have seen this in a few high-profile launches of Smartphones, Airbags, Juvenile furniture and even food items.

The ultimate Plan for our lives is already laid by our Creator, who said… Jeremiah 1:5 New Living Translation (NLT)

“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.     Before you were born I set you apart   and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”

God did not only called Jerimiah… He is also calling you and us.   So, God’s statement of “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb”.  He called each us all… This is God’s Plan for each of us…

Reading from: 1 Peter 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Comments:  Peter’s strong statement of Faith, Love, Goodness, Godliness Brotherly Kindness and making our calling and election to ensure that if we do these things we will never fail…

Prayer: Dear Lord Your Unconditional love abounds in what you have created for mankind, Lord today let us be good-stewards of Your mission and bless our Visitors coming to this Website. Monday: 11-14th, 2016    There’s no ‘Message’ without Christ

Speaking about our Lord without mentioning His Name is to conform to society’s desire for a generic-god.

Most idols are nameless and are useless as it is necessary for them to be carried…. No piece of rock, wood, or bronze can help you.  In fact, these man-made idols cannot even stand, ‘It’ must be nailed-down.  Idols are like ‘Fifth-Wheels on a car. It is considered ‘extra-luggage’ or a piece of carved image. Only Jesus our Lord is always in our presence by His Holy Spirit

Today we see ceremonies conducted in the name of ‘god’ without a message, without Hope, without Joy and without the providence of the Lord. Jesus said where one or more are gathered in His Name He is in their Midst.

Today we explore the idol made by king Nebuchadnezzar who ordered that his people must worship the image,

Daniel 3 [Full Chapter]

The Image of Gold and the Blazing Furnace] King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold, sixty cubits high and six cubits wide, and set it up on the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon.

Then the herald loudly proclaimed, “Nations and peoples of every language, this is what you are commanded to do: As soon as you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music, you must fall down and worship the image of gold that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up. Whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace.”

13 Furious with rage, Nebuchadnezzar summoned Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. So, these men were brought before the king, 14 and Nebuchadnezzar said to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image of gold I have set up? 15 Now when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music, if you are ready to fall down and worship the image I made, very good. But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. Then what god will be able to rescue you from my hand?”

16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us[c] from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

22 The king’s command was so urgent and the furnace so hot that the flames of the fire killed the soldiers who took up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, 23 and these three men, firmly tied, fell into the blazing furnace.

24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?”

They replied, “Certainly, Your Majesty.”

25 He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.”

26 Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!”

So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, 27 and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.

28 Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. 29 Therefore I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble, for no other god can save in this way.”

30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.

The above provides the proof that to deny the Most High God, you will be burned, but to stand your ground you are protected, as 16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us[c] from Your Majesty’s hand.

So, all who are coming to God without Christ will not have His Divine protection as Shadrach and his colleagues did.

ditch the idols, and the idol in our lives can be anything that we place more Importance over the Lord.

Commentary

We who are believers need to do our part as the commission of our Lord was to proclaim His message of this Good News that He Rose Triumphantly and HE is alive on the Throne of Righteousness and He is waiting to receive those that come to Him for His Redemption.

There’s so much to tell, as we recite the key things we all need to know:

  1. God Created the Heaven and the Earth
  2. God Created us in His Likeness
  3. Because we are Created in the Likeness of God, we too shall live forever.
  4. Jesus is the Son of God and He is Supreme and was there from the beginning of it all
  5. Because we are descendants of Adam, we are all born into Sin.
  6. The Good News is: God Sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us
  7. Jesus Paid It All by His Blood of Atonement.

Invitation: We can come to our Lord Jesus right where we are and he will receive us, and we can have His assurance that we will be saved by His Blood

Romans 8:11 New International Version (NIV) 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

His Assurance:

Romans 5:11 New International Version (NIV) 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Matthew 26: 41 NIV Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Prayer: Lord Jesus we come to You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and You intercedes for us, Lord, be with our Visitors and fill us with Your Holy Spirit, direct our pathways as we seek to be led by Your divine guidance as the Author and Finisher of our Faith.  And by Faith we come and accept You Lord knowi9ng that all things work for good to those that love You, and in acknowledgement of Your Word, that You will never leave us nor forsake us, Lord we give You the Praise and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday November 13th, 2016

Spending Quality-Time today, Communal-Gathering in Praise is a Renewal for you and others. Go to Church and Praise our Savior…

Focus: Quality-time can be defined as… time spent with close family or friends that is in a ‘togetherness’ frame of mind. A period considered special, productive or profitable. A time set aside for paying undivided attention to the person or matter at hand.

Quality-time is also beneficial to all participating. The most beneficial of all quality-time is spent in the presence of the Lord; and the ‘Oneness’ in Christ is a moment of experiencing His Holiness as we Praise Him in Adoration.

Praise is a multi-meaning noun, when used in conjunction with Worship we attain ‘Adoration and Love’ and not just a message of ‘gratitude’.   To say that God wants our Praise, this is not what He wants, He wants our Adoration which is expressed in our love and affirmation of His Grace, His Holiness, His Love and His Divine Redemption; which is founded on His Unconditional Love.

To ‘praise’ someone because he or she gave you a large gift, such praise is superficial as your ‘praise’ is about the gift.  Just like when Jesus answered; “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. 27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval. John 6: 26-27.

Let our Quality-Time’ be spent asking God to place His Divine blessings on ourselves and on others who are seeking Him. So seeking Him should not because of our ‘Want’ but because of our ‘Need’ as He will always provide our ‘Needs’, and He will do this in Abundance as he said Psalm 23:5 He will prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. He will anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus’ affirmation of God’s love and His Divine Mission to Redeem us…

John 6: 28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”

29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

30 So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? 31 Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’[c]

32 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

You have Jesus’ personal invitation as He said… 2 Corinthians 6:2 [Full Chapter]

For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Notice the key words… Behold (pay attention) now is the ‘accepted’ time’ because there is a time when it will be a too-late or there won’t be time. To come to Christ…  just say…” Jesus; I am a sinner, save me as I accept Your Divine Invitation to be cleansed by Your Blood, forgive me of my sins, Lord come into my heart and make me a new creation, thank You Lord Jesus, Amen”

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that through You our Savior we are made Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom. Lord we pray that our Visitors will be guided by Your Good News and that they will be brought to You Lord; Lord bless this day as we go forward in Faith and knowing that all our needs are provided and we give You thanks knowing that Your faithfulness and Your Covenant will never change. Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy name and to You Jesus our Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator, is the Power and the Glory, Now and Forevermore… Amen.

A time to give thanks and enjoy what the Lord has provided…

Stop and know that I am God.  Said the Lord…

Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

In Context | Full Chapter |

Stop what you are doing this moment and look to God in Jesus you will find His favor.  Have you ever reflected and wonder what God may be doing at this moment?  What do you thing He is doing? Listening to billions of prayers? Sending out messages? Calling people to Him and do you think His time is spent 100% doing these ‘chores’?

A King on earth would not be doing these chores, the king is head of the monarchy and his government is the administrator of the kingdom.  In the heavenly realms, there will no ‘government’ as those in the presence of the Lord are all Born again by His Holy Spirit, fully transformed to be Holy.

As we dedicate the time to give thanks and enjoy what the Lord has provided, we acknowledge that it is God’s will that we have His Joy... John 15:10-12 New International Version (NIV)

10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

Choose JOY over Happiness…

Coming to the Lord:  Today Lord Jesus we can claim Victory in You because You said so… Lord being created in Your Likeness we are privileged to know that by Your Grace we have the best to come, and this is when we see You Lord Jesus, as You said, when we see You we also see the Father.   We come today and pray for those that know of You Lord, but because of the ‘Scales’ over their eyes they cannot see, Lord just as you removed the scales of Paul’s eyes, let there be many today that will gain their sight to see Your WORD. Lord we affirm that the WORD of The Father… “Let there be Light” and You Lord Jesus became the Light of the World.

His Faithfulness

Lord we declare that You have said in Your Kingdom nothing is made by human hands, and Lord considering this we see why Gold will be a common building material, as it is one substance that mankind cannot replicate.  Therefore, Lord just as man has discovered the God-Particle, there are more than substantial evidence that we mere mortals are still in the era of building the Tower of Babel.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus…

Let it be Your Will Lord… Today as we renew our dedication of following the great commission of spreading Your Good News… Gracious Savior let us enlighten others and let Your servants be equipped as we shall say we will never be ashamed in trusting You Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Grace and Your Redemption and to You Lord Jesus, we pray in Your Holy Name and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore... Amen.

Devotionals for Friday, November 11, 2016

Do not worry… Worrying cannot help. Jesus provides answers

Worrying is counterproductive, it is generated anxiety, it deters you from finding solutions, and worrying will only make the problem bigger.

Instead of worrying determine the cause of the ‘worry’ is it caused by lack of ‘know-how’ or resources? Is it a health issue that you feel may become a problem?

In life, we can take the road filled with ‘pot-holes’ or a smooth pavement, we can choose not to be on the bus, by driving, flying, or sailing to a destination. Observe the key words in the foregoing sentence…

a)       Pot-holes, b) Smooth pavement, c) Bus, d) Driving, e) Flying, f) Flying, g) Sailing and; h) Destination.

  • Life’s pathway will always consist of bumps, curves and some smooth roads, enjoy the ride…
  • Choose to take the Bus, you may meet someone you can help, or even be helped.
  • Driving may take you on a ‘detour’ that opens a new opportunity…
  • Flying may get you there faster and it is still the safest mode of travel, even to the end (which is the beginning)
  • Sailing is a slow pace, but it will reveal the beauty of our Creator.
  • Destination is the ultimate-goal, and God has a destination for each of us and it is a place eyes have not seen nor can we imagine the beauty.

When Jesus told His disciples” Not to worry” he was saying; Worrying cannot help…

Matthew 6:25-34 [Full Chapter]

Do Not Worry] “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

Many of us are blessed and are provided with the abundance of our Lord’s Providence… Jesus did say, that He came that we would have an ‘abundant’ life and have it ‘more-abundantly’.  His disciples did have an abundant life as they had the presence of the Lord, but of the 12 chosen, one was Judas who betrayed Jesus, (he died by suicide) and this was so done by God’s plan, of the eleven only John did not die at the hands of men.

  1. Andrew: Martyrdom by crucifixion (bound, not nailed, to a cross).
  2. Bartholomew (Often identified with Nathaniel in the New Testament): Martyrdom by being either 1. Beheaded, or 2. Flayed alive and crucified, head downward.
  3. James the Greater: Martyrdom by being beheaded1 or stabbed2 with a sword.
  4. James the Lesser: Martyrdom by being thrown from a pinnacle of the Temple at Jerusalem, then stoned and beaten with clubs.
  5. John: Died of old age.
  6. Jude (Often identified with Thaddeus in the New Testament): Martyrdom by being beaten to death with a club.2
  7. Judas: Suicide.
  8. Matthew: Martyrdom by being burned, stoned, or beheaded.
  9. Peter: Martyrdom by crucifixion at Rome with his head downwards.
  10. Philip: Martyrdom.2
  11. Simon: Martyrdom by crucifixion.1 or being sawn in half.
  12. Thomas: Martyrdom by being stabbed with a spear.

Thinking of the journey of these followers of Christ, why did they die by ‘un-natural’ death? Just like John the Baptist, he also was killed, why? So, did Stephen who was stoned to death, the real reason is that Christ did tell them…” I am not of this world’, so they were in fact were being sent to Jesus’ Kingdom. As Christ said… Unless the kernel dies; John 12:24

Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. In Context | Full Chapter |

Their ‘Destination’ is as described in Revelation 21 https://www.biblegateway.com/audio/mclean/niv/Rev.21

Brothers, Sisters, friends and everyone… as we ‘sojourn’ through this world, let us remember that the ‘Destination’ is far beyond our imagination and we can get there only by God’s Divine way…Through Jesus ‘The Christ’.

Knowing this today we have a gift that is ‘Priceless; and it is freely given, Revelation 22 New International Version (NIV) Eden Restored

22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

Finding Peace in a world of disarray…

A world of disarray is to be in…disorder, confusion, chaos, untidiness, disorganization, dishevelment, mess, muddle, clutter, jumble, tangle, and in shambles.

Focus:    Is God ready to do another ‘Reset’? The Flood was the first Re-set, He said there will be a final reset

Thoughts for the day: The Day of The Lord will be like no other day in the history of mankind….

The Day of our Lord…. What a day it will be!

Text:                      2 Peter 3:10  [The Day of the Lord]

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

Commentary:

What is the Day of the Lord? This is the day when His Grace ends, what do we mean by this? Before answering this, let’s first look at the meaning of Grace; a: unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification

b: a virtue coming from God, c: a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace. (From the Merriam-Webster)

We see that His Grace is undeserved by us, why do we need His Grace? Because we are all sinners. Why am I called a sinner? Because we are all descendants of Adam, and when Adam & Eve sinned, God evicted them from the Garden of Eden. But God made a way for us to be Redeemed by His Son, Jesus (Read more about the supremacy of Jesus in John 1, Hebrews 1 & Ephesians 1), as He is God in One of our Father) Now His Grace granted to allow us to receive Him exists at this time, but the expiration date will be by one of two means.  One way if you die before accepting Him, and secondly, when He Returns which is known as the Day of The Lord.

2 Peter 3:10  [The Day of the Lord]

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

2 Peter 3:9-11 (in Context) 2 Peter 3 (Whole Chapter)

In the last daysWe read today from the writing of the Apostle Peter, who was considered an authoritative follower of Christ.  Peter’s first letter was written around 60 to 64 AD His second letter known as 2nd Peter was written between 65 and 68 AD.   He was martyred during the reign of Nero.  Peter had the zeal to bring the teaching of living for Christ, in 2 Peter 1: 3, he was making a calling to be aware of:

Verse 3:  “His divine Power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him (Jesus Christ) who called us by His own glory and goodness”.

Comment: Just like the messages of today, we are reaching out to all to remind ourselves of what is quoted below:

Reading from: 1 Peter 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

Comments:  Peter’s strong statement of Faith, Love, Goodness, Godliness Brotherly Kindness and making our calling and election to ensure that if we do these things we will never fail…

His Faithfulness:

God placed us here to enjoy the worship of him and the intimacy of his love for us
This is the big joy that he gave us so forget the short-term pitfall disguised as joy
2: God named his creation i.e. light, the expanse Sky, and he separated the darkness from light and the water from dry land.

  • God named it all,
  • The defining focus of God is Love not power
  • God brings order
  • God commanded; us to be fruitful and multiply
  • God blesses His living beings
  • God gave us lordship over all living things and dominion over earth.

Principle God knows us by a name before we were born, but this common name ‘Sinner” was changed to “Redeemed’ and because of His Redemption by His Blood of Atonement, we are now Joint Heirs to His Kingdom. What a Privilege! He gave us.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Prayer:

Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus in awe we come knowing that all things were created by You as The Father Spoke and You acted in His Holy Spirit. Lord today we come to You seeking Your Divine Blessings and Your guidance, as we say that Your Hands are ‘Over’ us, and not in what we do, as You Lord do not need help, so we place all things in Your Hands and look to You knowing that all things are possible for those who trust in You Lord. Lord Your Unconditional love abounds in what You have created for mankind, Lord today let us be good-stewards of Your mission and bless our Visitors coming to this Website. We pray in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus, to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday 9th, 2016 Coping with the outcome of events beyond your control by Trust…

Focus:  Over the years of voting in the national elections, in a span of 25 years the outcome of success runs an Average of 50% and the other 50% would be negative. But even in the case of my candidate of choice winning, the decisions made by the elected government erred and the mistakes are sometime irreversible.

While we seek prudent government, this is very elusive as the agenda of politicians do not always do what is good For the country. The political favors weigh more in the balance far overshadowing the things that benefits the Society.

Man, seeks power, applies greed and self-satisfaction and politicians do this at the expense of their constituents.

From the Lord, we have His faithfulness, through the providence of the Lord we can cope with the outcome of Events beyond our control, because God is in control.

History displayed the turmoil of war, even dating back to biblical times, among the ancient of wars, we can reflect on Syria, and today Syria is in the spotlight of a major conflict with human atrocities on a grand-scale.

The movement of war refugees are impacting the global community.
Humanity is a victim of the radicals inter-woven in the mass exodus bringing their radical violence that labelled all as ‘suspects’.  Only the Lord sees the hearts, and we pray for those who are suppressed because of the radicals.

Devotional:
Lord Your Word said… we are to grow in Grace and knowledge of You our Savior Lord Jesus, and as we affirm that to You Lord Jesus is the Glory now and for eternity.

Commentary:
Grace will never end for those in Christ, but for those who did not receive His Grace on that fateful day as described above, the time of Grace will expire… The day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.

Devotionals for Tuesday 8th, 2016

Use the privilege of choosing wisely…

Make a decision for Christ.

Today is Election day in the U.S.A…

This could be a day that we can reflect on Rome in the time of NERO…

Famously known for the apocryphal story that he fiddled while Rome burned in a great fire, Nero has become one of the most infamous men who ever lived.

During his rule, he murdered his own mother, Agrippina the Younger; his first wife, Octavia; and allegedly, his second wife, Poppaea Sabina. In addition, ancient writers claim that he started the great fire of Rome in A.D. 64 so that he could re-build the city center.

Nero's mother, Agrippina the younger, daughter of Germanicus and of Agrippina the elder, was assassinated at Nero's command in 60 A.D. in her villa on Lake Lucrine, after an unsuccessful attempt to drown her in a boat so constructed as to break to pieces while she was sailing in it on the lake. His younger brother Britannicus was poisoned by his order at a banquet in 55 A.D. His first wife Octavia was divorced in order that he might marry Poppæa, the wife of his friend Otho, and was afterward put to death. Poppæa herself died from the effects of a kick given her by Nero while she was with child.

The above biographical summary sounds familiar? As we cast our vote today, let us choose the candidate who has

kept the saying of ‘One Nation under One God’ and pledged for our religious freedom with a respect for the country’s  Constitution.

Overcoming the world’s challenge, Jesus gave us His ‘Secrets’

Focus:    The entire Bible is filled with God’s Divine Blessings…  Jesus told us the secret in today’s text

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus because You are our only Mediator to the Father we thank you for Your Righteousness and Your Divine Redemption by your Grace.  Lord as You presents us to Your Father we are privileged to give You our Praises and to know that You Lord is Sovereign and Eternal. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Unconditional Love and Your Divine Providence as we bring You our Visitors and seek Your blessing on us all. Lord we go in Faith and in You Lord Jesus we are made a Joint Heir knowing that on that day we shall see You Lord, and what a day that will be our Gracious Savior, Jesus Messiah… We Praise You and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Monday 7th, 2016:            Do not give permission to the evil one. Keep Christ in your life…

Each of us are a prized possession of the Lord…  God made us with ‘Free-Will’ and the ability to choose what we do. As Citizens of the USA go to the Poll, they will vote their choice of the next president of this nation.

Just as we are to be guarded against giving permission to the devil, the election is a time to make the right decision of whom the candidate will serve; to weigh the consequence of action previously taken by the candidate, and to make a judgment of not electing such a person that will further impact society at large.

While the political campaign enters its final stage, one thing for sure, we know that the Lord is in charge…

The principles of our discussion here are:

  1. Do not give permission to the evil one. Did you know the devil cannot use you unless you grant your permission to allow him?
  2. Why the devil does want your soul? Because you are worth a lot to Jesus
  3. The Power of Prayer, keep praying for the Lord will hear our requests for the solution to our petitions.

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3
And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

His Warning: Be aware of Jesus’ statement, He said ‘If”; why? Because while He was going, He would only build a place for those that are in Faith and the unbelievers would not be an heir to His Kingdom. (Therefore Voltaire the Atheist could not sell what he did not have the rights to.) Many of us read this and presumed that Jesus’ statement of Him going meant that ‘everyone’ would receive a ‘place’, there is no entitlement by default, and Jesus statement of “IF” was very specific to believers in Faith.

Only He (our Lord) knows the future…James 4: 14

Text:      James 4:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

EVENING -

The Parable of the Rich Fool: Luke 12: 13-34

13 Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”

14 Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?” 15 Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”

16 And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’

18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

TEXT:     Matthew 10: Jesus Teaches the Fear of God

27 “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Confess Christ before Men

32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that through You our Savior we are made Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom. Today we bring Your Salvation to the global community by Your will and am privileged to serve You Lord Jesus through this Good News network, Lord we pray that many visiting will be guided by Your Good News and that they will be brought to You Lord; as angels will celebrate for every sinner that repents, Lord bless this day as we go forward in Faith and knowing that all our needs are provided and we give You thanks knowing that Your faithfulness and Your Covenant will never change. Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy name and to You Jesus our Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator, is the Power and the Glory, Now and Forevermore… Amen.

Finding your level of tolerance in politics

:  Which of these will help us in our time of need?   FEAR or FAITH? of FATE?

Text: 1 John 4:4

New International Version (NIV)

4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Commentary:

Regardless of any individual’s standing, the wealthiest, the strongest athletes, the famous celebrities, or all other individuals, we all have a fear of something… FATE.

FAITH is defined:

1: FAITH is the belief and trust in and loyalty to God (2): belief in the traditional doctrines of a religion

2: firm belief in something for which there is no proof (2): complete trust

3: something that is believed especially with strong conviction; especially: a system of religious beliefs <the Protestant faith>

FATE is defined:

Webster’s dictionary said:

1: FATE is the will or principle or determining cause by which things in general are believed to come to be as they are or events to happen as they do: destiny

2: an inevitable and often adverse outcome, condition, or end

Fear is the by-product of ‘worry’. Mental anguish and stress can cause physical illness, even life threatening sickness. Some of the causes of our fear are: Worry of rejection, lack of self-esteem, confidence, and fear of failure.

Worry is a symptom of not having self-control, like when we fly or being driven.

Our Lord said… “Fear not”; “Cast our cares upon Him” we do not believe in the Doctrine of ‘Fear’ but, in the Doctrine of ‘GRACE”

Fear is either spawned by fear-mongering News… or self-imagined, and many times we will find that our Fear can be an un-founded reason to worry.

Today the trending is on ‘Doomsday-Preppers’, the sale of Freeze-Dried Food that will last for almost forever… sometimes we need to stop and refer to the Bible, as it said what is Life, it is just a Vapor…

Fear for the safety of our kids is a common practice as we were all kids, and a new born baby’s fear would be the fear of falling, and fear of strangers, an animal will respond to us by showing a fierce intent to attack, or simply runaway.

When we know our Lord Jesus He said He has our back covered… just like how He took care of Abraham, Joseph, Job, David, Paul, and many others.

Principle: With God’s encouragement we are driven to a positive contented life in Christ though Faith in Him.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

The promise of our Lord is more than just a ‘figure of speech’.  We can trust Him as we see in Matthew 14: 25-33 25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.

27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

29 “Come,” he said.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”

32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.

Conclusion:

Our daily lives are filled with challenges, and most of the challenges are from the devil.  When we look at the first temptation recorded when the serpent tempted Eve in the garden of Eden, there was a contented person Adam and Eve with no care in the world led into sin. What followed their betrayal of trust with God, they tried to cover up their wrong-doing. Not only did they try to evade the violation, Adam blamed it on God for giving him the woman.   So we are addressing the need for honesty in our daily walk.

Romans 12:17

New International Version (NIV)

17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Come to our Lord and listen to his guidance…

proverbs 3:5-6

New International Version (NIV)

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Assurance as You have said do not worry…

Lord we thank You for the Covenants of Grace and it is by your Grace that we are saved and not of ourselves. Lord bless this day as we bring to You our daily challenges and in Faith we look to you Lord for Your Divine guidance.  Lord bless this mission of bringing Your Good News to the World, bless our Visitors and grant to each one You Favors as they call upon Your Holy Name.  Lord directs our path today and let Your Blessing flow as we seek to serve you for your Glory. Lord today let those seeking you be led to Your Green Pastures as You have said You will never leave us nor forsake us. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Tuesday* 11-01-16     Spending our time wisely as it is more than money, it goes and never returns

Time is fleeting by and it passes never to return….

Are we there yet? No, we are not forgotten by God…

The massive migration of people displaced by the war and other conflicts is a current news item.  The journey to the Promised-Land was a more epic event, Moses led millions through the desert to Canaan, and the Lord did not forget them, in fact he cared for them while ‘training’ them in preparation to enter the Promised-Land.

We are all a ‘Diaspora’ of some sort. Why? Wide-Spread changes are making many feel like we are a foreigner.

TEXT:     Romans 5:12
Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ ] Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—
Romans 5:11-13 (in Context) Romans 5 (Whole Chapter)

Focus:    Look what our fore-parents gave up for what we have today? They squandered it for a lifetime of challenges,

Theme:  By one man Sin entered the world, our Creator was not surprised by Adam & Eve of their falling for the serpent’s temptation.  The Good News is that God forgave us and gave us His Priceless Gift, that, but… ”we must receive it to own it”.

Genesis 2: 15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

While Adam and Eve were casted out of the Garden of Eden, they were not classified as Diaspora as they were not driven out by adversity, they were ‘displaced’ because of Sin…

The Good News for us all:

His Priceless Gift: This is the reason why He came to Redeem us… Because He said “you will certainly die, He has “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation." - II Corinthians 5:18-19

Commentary

We who are believers need to do our part as the commission of our Lord was to proclaim His message of; Good News that He Rose Triumphantly and HE is alive on the Throne of Righteousness and He is waiting to receive those that come to Him for His Redemption.

  8. The Grace of our Lord is extended to us all, and right now is the time of Acceptance
  9. If we Accept our Lord Jesus and repent of our Sin, He will Redeem us by His Blood as a Seal and as a Down/Payment for our Redemption that we will be with our Lord in a Place of Splendor forever.
  10. We also need to let it be known; that while our Lord is a Lord of Love, A Gracious Redeemer and a Patient God, He is also a God of Consuming Fire…
  11. Our Lord said that when we are saved by His Grace we will never be lost, but we must know Him and have a close walk with our Lord; as He will meet all our needs and He will never leave us nor forsake us.

We can come to our Lord Jesus right where we are and he will receive us, and we can have His assurance that we will be saved by His Blood

Why did He come to Redeem us?

As we journey through this life, with a life-span of 70-80-90 or even a hundred years old…we needs to stop and Know that He is God; as the bible said; what is Man? That You are mindful of him?  Alexander the Great (356-323 BC) who conquered the Persian Empire, into Egypt and India, died at age 33, at his death he requested that his hands were not to be wrapped and they were to be visible showing that his hands were “Empty” a bold statement while he gained much in life, but in death he could not take anything with him. Let us be mindful of this…

Hebrews 2:6
But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him?
Hebrews 2:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 2 (Whole Chapter)

His warning…

John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Isaiah 1:24

24 Therefore the Lord, the Lord Almighty,
the Mighty One of Israel, declares:
“Ah! I will vent my wrath on my foes and avenge myself on my enemies.

EVENING:

Conclusion: Jesus Made Fully Human

Hebrews 2: 5-10 NIV

It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking. But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him?  You made them a little lower than the angels; you crowned them with glory and honor   and put everything under their feet.” In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them. But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.10 In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.

Invitation:

Romans 8:11 New International Version (NIV) 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

His Assurance:

Romans 5:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Matthew 26: 41 NIV

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Wednesday*  11-02-16            Finding your way home… Where’s home?

Hebrews 4: 12 (NIV)

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Jesus is our Intercessor and our Mediator as our High Priest, that Intercedes to the Father, as HE Said...”No one comes to the Father unless Through HIM”

Psalms 95 Verse 7 (NIV).  For he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.

Today, if only you would hear his voice, 8. Do not harden your hearts

His encouragement to persevere and Stay focused in FAITH

EVENING:

Principle 2: We become Mature in The Faith as we live out the Truth, and Learn about God…

MATURE FAITH = ACTION FOR CHRIST

Keynote:

Jesus is the Foundation Who Secures the ANCHOR of OUR FAITH…

The GOSPEL IS THE WHOLE THING, And The Goodness of HIS Resurrection.

Conclusion: In history there are stories of innocent men that may have taken the rap (traded their freedom) for financial gain, and there are some well-known what we know as ‘Trophy’ properties owned by the ones that served the prison terms in exchange for wealth.  But our Lord Jesus who was already Rich, became poor so that He could bear our sins, He had nothing to gain but to Redeem us because He LOVED us.  God in His Infinite Knowledge made this possible through Jesus, and the ‘Sacrifice’ with Jesus on the Cross was the only way for us to escape eternal damnation.  Remember we really never die, as we are created in the Likeness of God, and God do not die… This is why it is said it is appointed unto man once to ‘die’ but after this there is the judgment.  What is this saying? After our physical death we will still be around to face His Judgment, but those in Christ are Saved by His Blood and we will not face Judgment as stated in Romans 8: 1.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father in Jesus we come Lord because You are one of the Father we know that You our Redeemer is not a faceless God, and Lord we are created in Your Likeness. Lord Jesus we thank You for the privilege of presenting You and we thank You for being in Your likeness.  Lord today as we are challenged let us be victorious in You Lord Jesus.

Lord Jesus we do not seek to be hidden and we do not seek to keep You hidden because you are the Light of the World.

Lord Jesus thank you for giving us knowledge and Lord let us bring You and Your Divine Grace to this world for Your Glory.

Lord Jesus today we go in Faith and we go knowing that all things will work together for good and Lord the Good is You and Lord let it be done for Your Kingdom.

Gracious Savior let us enlighten others and let Your servants be equipped as we shall say we will never be ashamed in trusting You Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Grace and Your Redemption and to You Lord Jesus, we pray in Your Holy Name and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore... Amen.

Think on this today:

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Thursday          11-03-16            One Faith, One Way and the only way…

Topic:  Why Did Jesus the Almighty Yeshua come? Why did He willingly go to the Cross?

Text: : John 6:53 New International Version (NIV)

53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

Commentary:

These are the key words that we need to understand:

God                          No one has ever seen God, except Jesus,.

Jesus                       Jesus is the Image of the4 invisible Gof, who is God in One of His Holy Trinity Colossian 1: 15

Trinity                    This is the Triune of Father, Son and Holy Spirit

Remission             To Re-Admit, because mankind was evicted from the Eden, we need to be readmitted

Redemption         To Pay a price to be Redeemed, to ‘Buy-back’

Sacrifice                Jesus made His Sacrifice to Redeem us by His Atoning Blood

Divine                     ‘From God’’

Forgiveness         No one can forgive ‘Sin’; Sin is an inherent ‘pre-condition’ that we inherited from Adam

Grace                      The Grace of our Lord is what He offered us to be Redeemed

Holy Spirit            The Power of His Holy Spirit will be an In-Dwelling Comforter when we accept Jesus

Eternity                 A place where we will be, in one of two places

Damnation           A Place where one is separated from God forever, and in a state of dying but never dead

Splendor               A state in a place where Jesus described as ‘Paradise’

Cleansed by the Blood is an action of purification done by the High Priest before coming to God.  This is an old tradition done inside what is called the Inner-Sanctum of the Temple.  Jesus said “It-is Finished” and the dividing curtain (Wall) of the Temple was torn revealing Him as our ‘High-Priest’ why? Because His Blood was shed for all, and all that come to Him and accept Him; His Blood becomes His SEAL of Redemption, this is the ‘PAID-IN-FULL” Stamp that He purchased us and we are now aboard with Him and is Heaven bound.

Does this mean that because Jesus died and His blood was shed for us all, and by His action we are ‘automatically’ saved? NO! The parallel is: If someone comes to the door of your house and offer you a pot of Gold but you did not take it, so this person moves on, what happened? You just lost your opportunity.  While the Priceless Gift of Salvation through Jesus is free, unless you accept it you cannot possesses it.

You cannot earn it, purchase it or work your way to get it. It is only by His Grace that we can receive His gift, and it is only in Faith that you can come to Him.

As we commemorate the Crucifixion of Jesus ‘The Christ’ at Calvary, we need to know that Jesus was not a new kid on the block… This same Jesus is the Yeshua/Yahweh who walked with Adam in Eden.; but He had to come to Redeem us as Adam sinned and this sin was transferred down to all that came after Adam.

Therefore, you me and everyone are descendants of this man Adam, but nothing surprised our God, and He made a provision for us to be Redeemed. Why did God go to this extent to Redeem us? Because we are His creation, and of all His creations, when He created Man, He said ‘This is good’ and he loved us, and he still loves us.

If you are experiencing challenging times and other difficulties in live, you may ask…If He loves me why am I in this state? I need a Job, I need money and I need to get a life.   This is the description of one that is not ‘Fully experiencing His Grace’  There are multiple reasons why we have challenges…

First we are disciplined by God, why” because He loves us, if He did not care then he would write you off and just say Romans 1:28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Romans 1:27-29 (in Context) Romans 1 (Whole Chapter)

Because of His Unconditional Love, God provided a way for us to have Eternity with Him. The key factor here is; “With Him” why, because all things were created for HIM. Even us, but He gave us a Free-thinking mind’ and not as slaves.  The Scriptures said, God gave us a Sound Mind, with Power… 2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:6-8 (in Context) 2 Timothy 1 (Whole Chapter)

Principle:  Eden Restored will be a place like no other, as described in Revelations, its wall was like Jasper and like glass made of Gold… Revelation 21:18

The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass.

Revelation 21:17-19 (in Context) Revelation 21 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

2 Corinthians 4:16-17 New International Version (NIV)

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Philippians 4:6  (NIV)

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Conclusion:

Revelation 22 (NIV)

Eden Restored

22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.  3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Divine Redemption, and by Your Grace we have Victory in You. Lord Your Unconditional Love is overwhelming as we stand in Awe of what you have in store for us. Lord in humility we come knowing that You the Creator came and we received You not. Lord Your Divine Plan was fulfilled as You Paid-It-All and by Your Sacrifice we are Sealed with Your Atoning Blood and made Joint Heirs in you our Lord. Thank Your Lord for the privilege of bringing Your Good News and for our Visitors, Lord bless us all and grant Your Favors to all that call on Your Holy Name Lord Jesus. We pray in Your Matchless Name Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in one of The Father, Son and Holy Spirit Your Divine Trinity, to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore….Amen.

Text: The Christian has permanent peace with God (Romans 5:1).

Romans 5:1

New International Version (NIV)

Peace and Hope

5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Commentary:  The recent trend on  TV commercials for  pharmaceutical drugs are written by Lawyers and not Madison Avenue marketers.  Just listen to the warning of the side effects.  In so many words the side effects can harm you more than what the medicine could do to cure any ailment that it was intended for.   The GREED factor of pharmaceutical companies have crossed the boundaries of trust. And many are inflicting just as much harm to the population as the illegal drug pushers, they are just about equally as dangerous.

Advancements in Medicine are being made and truly there are break-through cures but many of these remedies are pointing to stuff we may find in our gardens and our pantries.  But the drug manufacturers of today are driven by Wall Street, as we can see many un-tested products are oftentimes recalled due to death of a consumer.  The fierce competition for market share is out of control., as they place more emphasis on earnings versus delivering a product that is supposed to help the patients.

Principle: But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written; "Be holy, because I am holy." - 1 Peter 1:15-16

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

The ruling peace of Christ in the heart is not supposed to be an optional extra (Colossians 3:15).

Colossians 3:15 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.  (in Context) Ephesians 2 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:

New King James Version (NKJV)

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we thank you by Your Grace we can repel the forces of evil that seek to penetrate Your followers.  Lord,   Your promise as we walk through this valley by the shadow of death, You are with us and we are protected just as You protected Your people as they passed through the waters and the river will not overflow and when they walk through the fire, they will not be burned, nor shall the flames scorch us. Lord we remain in You and You Lord are near to us as You said You will guide us continually. We ask Your divine blessing on our Visitors and say in Your Name: May our God of Grace who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus bless and keep you, and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, and give you peace now and forever, in Jesus Name…. Amen.

Saturday 11-05-16        A good life= Health, Faith, Stability & Sustainability through by God’s Providence

Can you recall the bleakest day in man’s history… which was it?  A) Pearl Harbor; B) the Crash of 1929; C) Day one of World War 1 & 2, or in recent time 911 World Trade Towers?

Text: Isaiah 53: 7. 7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
    yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.

Commentary:

To many American most of the above could be in the bleakest day’s category… but to cap it all, the day Jesus was Crucified, almost 1,983 years ago at Calvary. (The year is calculated based on 2016 – 33, Christ was crucified at age 33 and our calendar is based on His Birth 2,013 years ago)

As time is fleeting by; 1,983 years ago is ancient. Recently I opened one of the clocks on the mantle and the date read…made in ’35, this by an American clock manufacturer ‘Ansonia’ this company went out of business in the turn of the century, the actual date is 1835, maybe they thought they would never see the year 1,900. So the date did not feature which century, just the years.

Jesus’ crucifixion was physically the bleakest day as the Sun went dark for three (3) Hours, (Never repeated since)  But the Good News is this was the day that Man was Redeemed from eternal Damnation.

The Good News is, He Paid-It-All by His Atoning Blood.  The Crucifixion was more savage than the sacrifice of the Burnt-Offering when a Lamb would be sacrificed.  The Pre-Crucifixion beating, mocking and painful punishments rendered to our Savior was totally foretold 700 years ago before Jesus came to earth.

Principle: Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. - John 8:32

Action/Coming to our Lord:

We must come to our Lord daily in Prayers, it is like some pumps that drains dry and require ‘Priming’ a good example of this is as stated by Charles Spurgeon….You have heard it said, that when a pump is dry, you must pour water down it first of all, and then you will get water, and so, Christian, when thou art dry, go to God, ask him to shed abroad his joy in thy heart, and then thy joy shall be full. Do not go to earthly acquaintances, for you will find them Job's comforters after all; but go first and foremost to thy "God, that comforted those that are cast down," and you will soon say, "In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul."

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 1:7 New International Version (NIV)

7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.

Conclusion:

Isaiah 53 New International Version (NIV)

53 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.3 He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.

4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him  the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,  and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,  so he did not open his mouth. 8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished.

9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.10 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.

11 After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities 12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,  and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death,  and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Grace, Your Love and for Your Sacrifice made for us. Lord just like how You provided a substitution for Isaac by the Lamb, You Lord Jesus went to the cross instead of us Lord. Lord had to be substituted as we are ‘blemished’ and could not be offered to God the Father. Lord without Your Divine Sacrifice we could not be saved as it is only by Your Grace Lord that we are Saved and not of anything we do.

Lord we thank You and in Faith place all in Your hands. Lord bless our endeavors and bless the Visitors and grants us Your Favors. Lord we Pray in your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Thoughts for the Day: Can you find your way to that Oasis in this desert, yes there is a Map pointing to this Well of Life

Good News: He is the Godhead and not the Masthead… He is our Redeemer, our Sovereign Eternal God and He made us more than conquerors.

TEXT: Amos 1: 1 (NKJV)

1 The words of Amos, who was among the sheep breeders of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

Amos 3

Authority of the Prophet’s Message

3 Hear this word that the Lord has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying:

“You only have I known of all the families of the earth;
Therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.”

Commentary: Ancient mariners would send   (Nautical Terms) to send a sailor to the masthead as a punishment. Man in our quest named their ocean-going vessels and placed figurehead statue on the bow of ships, this was intended to ward off evil forces.

Our Almighty God has given us a ‘glimpse’ of His vast-universe the most prominent telescope ‘Hubble’ opened up the depth of space widening man’s knowledge of the immense heavens. As Jesus said…”I am not of this world”  Our quest to find Him is still elusive to many. But our short-sightedness has prevented many from finding Him as he is so close, and actually in our Midst.  As we say…”Hidden-in plain sight”

Jesus said… I am standing at the door knocking, and if you answer He will come in and be with us.  The USA will hear the presidential State of the Union speech today, and this speech will be filled with grandiose plans of how we will overcome our problems and we will ‘fix’ the deficits and we will restore jobs and improve education, etc.

We need to ‘stop-look-listen’ and retrace the good times and the bad times of this nation, and stop wondering why are we in a downward spiral financially with record debt and that is snowballing out of control.  As we once said, if we melted all the gold in the world we still would not have enough money to pay off the national debt.so as they say, a billion here and a billion there and soon or later it translate to real money… but the  -illions are no longer with a ‘B’ but with a ‘T’.

The ‘Roaring-20’s’ led to the first major depression, now are we in the roaring ‘millennium’ that will send the battleship aground? We are placing much emphasis on...Pro-Choice (Abortion) same-sex marriages, Birth control and God is left out of the equation in every aspect of government.  The agenda is exactly from the charter of a once famous city that no longer exists. We do not have to mention this city by name, but, as Ruth Graham said… "If God doesn't soon bring judgment upon America, He'll have to go back and apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah!" why?  Are we there yet? Have we reached the parallel of this once ‘city of lights’ that was put out of its miseries.

Do we need a Jonah? Or an Amos” where is the modern day Amos, the lone shepherd that came to town to warn of the impending catastrophes?

EVENING:

Take heart, the Good News is: Among all of God’s creation man was made in His likeness, and we are His most prized possession, because He purchased us with His Blood, this is the sole reason why Jesus came to redeem us from the Pawn-shop that men have pledged their life to the darkness of this world, Jesus came as the ‘Light of the World’, His radiance is shining lighting the way to His Cross. We need to know that the Cross that is offensive to many is the ‘Only-Way’ because without the Cross there would be no Salvation, No Redemption and Christ would have come in Vain.  He came to die that we may have Life and have it more abundantly here and in His Kingdom that He Jesus made us Joint-Heirs.

When Peter rebuked Jesus and suggested that he avoid the cross, (Matthew 16: 22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”

Jesus replied ‘Get behind me satan” why? Because this was the same suggestion the devil made in tempting Jesus, the devil knew that the Cross was the Victory that we would receive from God.

Yet is all of the calamities, God made us Conquerors… Romans 8: 37-39 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8: 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

God’s Everlasting Love

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

PRAISE our Lord for His Faithfulness… To be redeemed, come to Christ, He is waiting, His invitation is extended to each of us, He said come as you are, no appointment necessary, He is The King but He is standing at the door, He is waiting to receive you.

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord we are in awe that you would love us so much that You went to the Cross for us. Lord today we are blessed to know that Your Divine Redemption through Your Grace is offered to us as we accept You and give You our Praises. Lord knowing that Your mission of mercy was not an accident and not a plan from man, as we acknowledge… That it is by Grace we are saved through faith, and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of You Lord God, not of works, lest anyone should boast, Lord be with our Visitors as we thank You or the privilege of bringing Your Good News for Your Glory, we pray in your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Sunday 11-06-16         Remove the clutter, make room for Joy – Peace & Happiness

No… God have not forgotten us.  He is patient and he doesn’t want any to be lost.

Think on this: To God a Day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day… Jesus ascended 1981 years ago

TEXT: 1 John 4:8-9

New International Version (NIV)

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

Commentary:

To God a Day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day… Jesus ascended 1981 years ago.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 NIV

Our Faith, our Walk and His warning….

God in His infinite power of Light & Love, He did revealed His love for us in the Divine Gift of His Son.  In Jesus Christ, God came to us in the fullness of His Grace.  He came that we might receive His pardon by His Atonement for our sins, and save us from everlasting destruction.  One might say, how do we have the authority of making this statement of Everlasting Destruction?  Because we are simply repeating the Word of God, as He said we are Created in His Likeness, and He also said that it is appointed unto man to die and after that there is a Judgment… God is never wrong, and these two statements affirmed that we will live forever.

The Love of God found its fullest expression in the Cross, where the Lord Jesus bore the judgment for our sins, meaning that he stood in our place, and by His Crucifixion, He paid It All, and by His Blood of Atonement, we are able to receive His SEAL of Salvation.

  • Every circumstance
  • By Prayer & Petition
  • With Thanksgiving
  • Continue your request to God

Give thanks to our Faithful Lord and Savior as He provides all our needs… as stated in: Philippians 4:19 New International Version (NIV) 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

The Beatitudes preached by Jesus and better known as the Sermon on the Mount.  Before we read the text, we did a little checking as to the meaning of Beatitude... and the Webster's definitions are listed below.
Comment: Our Lord was probably saying... These should be your attitudes, these are the principles of living a life pleasing to our Lord...

Definition of BEATITUDE

1. A: a state of utmost bliss —used as a title for a primate especially of an Eastern Church

2 : any of the declarations made in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:3–11) beginning in the Authorized Version “Blessed are”  Related to BEATITUDE Synonyms: happinessblessednessblissblissfulness, felicitygladnessjoywarm fuzzies

Matthew 5 New International Version (NIV) Introduction to the Sermon on the Mount

1 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them.

The Beatitudes

    He said:

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Things to know that in the realms of reality, right now is what counts; not yesterday, nor tomorrow, for we know…“Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Hebrews 4: 12 (NIV) For the word of God is alive and active.

EVENING:

Looking at His Words in Matthew 6: 28-34 (NIV) preface…These are the words of Jesus as told by Him from His sermon at a gathering which was in effect our Lord’s Inauguration speech as King Jesus, widely known as the Beatitudes and as ‘The Sermon on the Mount’ The theme of this message is: ‘To have Faith and not to Worry’

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Conclusion: But our Lord Jesus who was already Rich, became poor so that He could bear our sins, He had nothing to gain but to Redeem us because He LOVED us.  God in His infinite Knowledge made this possible through Jesus, and the ‘Sacrifice’ with Jesus on the Cross was the only way for us to escape eternal damnation, Remember we really never die, as we are created in the Likeness of God, and God do not die… This is why it is said it is appointed unto man once to ‘die’ but after this there is the judgment.  What is this saying? After our physical death we will still be around to face His Judgment, but those in Christ are Saved by His Blood and we will not face Judgment as stated in Romans 8: 1.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus thank You for hearing us as we stand at the Cross knowing that You rose triumphantly and ascended to the Throne of Righteousness and by Your Grace Lord we are saved. What a privilege that You have given us to stand in Victory, Lord we Thank You for bringing visitors to this site, as we serve You for Your Glory. We are privileged to be Your Messenger Lord.              - Caring with compassion = True love

FOCUS: Can you live without money?  The tribes in the jungle do… are they happier than us?

With over 200 indigenous groups in the Amazon Rainforest with 180 different languages and diverse cultural background. The tribes of the flora and fauna are still enjoying their jungle life with cultural diversity that gives them a very high standards of family principles surviving in an interesting and rich place to live.

These people are living day by day without cash currency nor do they need an automobile, cell phones or the internet.  Remembering that our Lord said not to worry, so when Jesus said “I go to prepare a place for you” He also mention… “In my Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions” He was not going to carve out a piece of the jungle for us.

Today as we reflect on the tribes in the Amazon, even though they do not know Christ, yet The Father has provided for them, as they too were created in His likeness.

Do not ‘Blend-In’ – Shine by Being a child of LIGHT

Thoughts for today: To Reject Christ is to be condemned, to receive Christ there will be no condemnation

TEXT: Romans 8: 1 There is no condemnation now for those who live in union with Christ Jesus.

Commentary:

A little yeast will cause the entire bowl of flour to rise… So is a little sin, but there is no ‘little’ sin. Sin is sin and we were born in sin and there are many instances where we may ask, if we are all born in sin will the baby or a child that died before knowing the Lord go to hell?  The Biblical answers are compiled for us to see, read on…

The Scriptures outlined…:  "He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God" (John 3:18).   An infant is not capable of rejecting Jesus Christ.   An infant is incapable of committing the sin mentioned in John 16:9.

Although the Bible does not specifically declare that infants who die will go to heaven, there is a weight of Biblical evidence which points in this direction.  We can safely say that   infants who die will be safe in the arms of Jesus and will spend eternity with Him in heaven.

Some reasons for reaching such a conclusion are as follows:

1.  The Lord Jesus Christ died for all of Adam's race (for all mankind), including every infant that has ever been born.   Consider the following study:  For Whom Did Christ Die?

2.  A person is condemned for rejecting Jesus Christ and for refusing to believe in Him:  "He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God" (John 3:18).   An infant is not capable of rejecting Jesus Christ.   An infant is incapable of committing the sin mentioned in John 16:9.

3.  Those who go to hell in 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 are those who have deliberately disobeyed the gospel by refusing to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.  Infants have not willfully disobeyed the gospel.   Note:  The heathen, who are not under the hearing of the gospel, are condemned for rejecting the lesser revelation that God has given to them (Rom. 1:20-21, etc.). For a detailed study of this see Romans chapter 1.  But an infant would also be incapable of rejecting this lesser revelation.

4.  Revelation 20:11-15 indicates that all of the unsaved are resurrected to appear before the Great White Throne, and twice it is stressed that each will be judged according to their works. It is doubtful that young infants are included in this evaluation.  What evil works has a 6-month old baby committed?

5.  Consider the compassionate heart of God for those who are lost:  "Who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim. 2:4--this is God's desire).   "Not willing that any should perish" (2 Pet. 3:9).  "Even so it is not the will of your Father, who is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish" (Matt. 18:14).  "I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked" (Ezekiel 33:11).  While these verses do not refer specifically to infants, they do teach us that the loving and merciful heart of our God desires the salvation of all men.

6.  We know that the Lord Jesus had a tender and compassionate heart for the little children and was much displeased when His disciples were hindering them from coming to Him (Mark 10:13-14).  We are sure that our Saviour has this same kind of compassion, not only for children, but for young infants also.

7.  King David had a child by Bathsheba which died in infancy. David's words are significant:  "While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?  But now he is dead, why should I fast? Can I bring him back again?  I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me" (2 Samuel 12:22-23).

The clear sense of this passage is that David believed that he would be reunited with his child in the next life.   He knew the baby, having died, could not come back to this life, but he believed that he would go to him. While we can't be dogmatic that such a passage teaches infant salvation, yet it does seem to point in that direction.

Quoted from an article published by: George Zeller, 10/08 The Middletown Bible Church, CT, USA

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord: It is a privileged to be ‘Enlightened’ by the Good News of the Gospel. This is why the Gospel is not an Invitation it is a command. Why? To reject the Lord is to be condemned and those that believe in Christ is not condemned.

Knowing to ‘deliberately’ disobey the gospel by refusing to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ are already condemned.  So today having heard the Gospel which is the Good News of Christ’ Salvation, we must Ask Him, Consider Him, Confess to Him, Believe Him, Receive Him. Walk with Him and draw close to Him. Remember Him for He remembered you.

There’s no escape, because it is appointed unto to man to die and then the judgment…

Hebrews 9:27

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: In Context | Full Chapter |

So death is not the end because the Bible said after death there is a judgment, therefore you will be around to receive the judgment, but to those in Christ there are no condemnation.

Prayer: For all:

Father in Jesus I come, I have sinned, I have not obeyed Your Word.  I have tried to run my own life, I have ignored You and Your will for me. I have tried to decide for myself what is right and wrong. I deserve Your wrath and punishment; I am lost unless You save me.  Thank You Jesus for coming to pay for my sin and guilt, thank You Father for raising Jesus whom You made The Christ and giving Him authority over all and today I ask You Lord Jesus to be Lord of my life, as I receive You as my personal Lord and Savior.  I receive Your gift of eternal life in You Lord Jesus, I seek your Divine Holy Spirit to guide me and Lord I make You the Author and Finisher of my Faith as You are my Creator and Redeemer, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Go to the Lord and make your request known to Him.

Introducing a Friend…

Today I will introduce a Friend, and my introduction will be based on His life, His care for me and His unmatched graciousness.

This friend visited earth 2,016 years ago. He came under a very unorthodox auspice of being born without an earthly father, His mother was a Virgin and many wanted to make Him a king.

During His 33 years, He did many things that are still mind-baffling, He also made an astounding claim… He said “I Am not of this world”.  He even claimed that before Abraham was He was…

John 8:58  “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” In Context | Full Chapter |

He declared that He was at the day of Creation with God the Father…

John 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. In Context

Now it is clear who this Friend is? …. Jesus the Messiah!

As we draw near to Christmas the season of Advent… This is all about the Miracle of Christ, and Christ for the Masses as he came to redeem the masses. Therefore, CHRIST-‘MAS’ represents the Visit of Christ the Messiah and the coming return of Christ the Redeemer and the Judge…

Jesus in no new kid on the block… He was declared on the first day, when God said…

Genesis 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. In Context | Full Chapter |

The Bible refers to God in the Plural as stated…Genesis 1: 26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Remember the Sun was not yet placed until the fourth day, but Jesus who is the Image of the Invisible God, was there… and Jesus is Sovereign and Preeminent as we read…

John 1:1

The Word Became Flesh] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 1:2  He was with God in the beginning. In Context | Full Chapter |

And Jesus is Sovereign… Colossians 1:16

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. In Context | Full Chapter

Preparing for Christ-‘mas’

The season of Advent is represented by the four Sundays preceding Christmas Eve.

The Season of Advent declares the Birth of Christ… Emanuel, GOD with US.

So, as we continue to introduce our Messiah, Who said… I no longer call you servants but a Friend…

John 15:15

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter

What a privilege our Lord Jesus has given us all…  Keep looking up, as the Bible said:  This same Jesus will return. Acts 1:11

“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Think on these…

You cannot Test or Tempt the Lord, To say Lord...  ” if you do this for me I will do this for you”  The Lord needs no favors from me, He only wants my Love and Adoration of Him by trusting Him and allowing Him to be the Author and Finisher of my Faith.

Sharing the Gospel…. By Spreading the Good News. The Good News is that Christ died for sinners just like me and you all. And by His Grace we are saved (When we come and repent and accept Him as our Lord and Savior)

To accomplish the work of God, we must give up relying on my own power...

Principles: Whatever God asks me to do I can only do by His Power

I must realize my powerlessness by:

Step one: place it all in the hands of Jesus…  Step Two: apply His Mission statement in my life by spreading His Good News

As I go through this world keep my eyes on Him…  Always know that Jesus is preeminent and He is Go

Whatever you long for, there is no satisfaction apart from Jesus Christ

Praise is a multi-meaning noun, when used in conjunction with Worship we attain ‘Adoration and Love’ and not just a message of ‘gratitude’.   To say that God wants our Praise, this is not what He wants, He wants our Adoration which is expressed in our love and affirmation of His Grace, His Holiness, His Love and His Divine Redemption; which is founded on His Unconditional Love.

1 John 5:6-8 Living Bible (TLB)

6-8 And we know he is, because God said so with a voice from heaven when Jesus was baptized, and again as he was facing death[a]—yes, not only at his baptism but also as he faced death.* And the Holy Spirit, forever truthful, says it too. So, we have these three witnesses: the voice of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, the voice from heaven at Christ’s baptism, and the voice before he died. * And they all say the same thing: that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. *

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Avoid Worldly Wisdom

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Think on This…He saved because of His Mercies... But to receive His salvation we need to come to Him and ask to be forgiven of our sin and in exchange for our filthy rags He gives us His Seal of Redemption by His blood.

Thank You Lord Jesus for this day and Lord because of You it is a Good Day.

Lord let me use this day to:

Pray for my brothers and sisters and all so they too will have a Good-Day.

Lord as we know that this Day is made by You and all things are made new in You, let us be reminded that this Good time will continue in spite of the ‘end’-times that we face.

Lord let us use this day to pray for those in need and those who are seeking You to be blessed with You Peace.

We give You preeminence in our lives knowing that we shall see You as You are Jesus Messiah… To You be the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

      Think on these...

  1. His Assurance:  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV….  Thank our lord Jesus for His Spirit of Power, of Love, given us a Sound mind that we can give Him the Glory.

  1. He is Mediator: For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a random for all 1 Timothy 2: 5-6 NKJV …. Thank Him that he intercedes to the Father on our behalf, and He Paid-It-All to Redeem us.

  1. Finding our Lord:  Jeremiah 33: 3… Call on Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.  What a privilege He gave us, we can freely come to our Lord.

  1. Meeting our needs:  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4: 6 NKJV… He is never too busy to receive our requests (notice not just one request, as many as we need) so give thanks our Lord knowing that whatever we ask He will provide meeting all our needs.

  1. Salvation through His Blood: In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace... Ephesians 1: 7 NKJV… We are saved by His Grace and in Faith and not by ourselves, it is a ‘Gift’ of God, not of any works, so we cannot boast. (Ephesians 2: 8)

  1. Christ is Eternal, His Word is forever, His Redemption is for Eternity, and those He saved will never be lost… Romans 8: 38-39… For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present not things to come, not height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord… Rest assured that this is a truthful and faithful saying and we can trust in Jesus for He is on the Throne of Righteousness and he has our back and in Him we have Victory...

The   Bible is all about the Majesty of God, His mercies, His Redemption and His Kingdom to come.

The most profound words ever spoken on earth…

”I am not of this world” Jesus said this, and no one ever repeated these words.   Imagine today this being claimed by someone over the Airwaves broadcasted across the continents? Who can claim this, Only Jesus the Christ, Anointed as the Messiah.  He proved this by…

  1. The sun went dark for three hours while He was on the Cross
  2. The empty grave
  3. His Resurrection, seen by many

The Birth and Crucifixion of Jesus was foretold by Isaiah over 700 years before Jesus came, born of a Virgin in a Manger, Died and Resurrected and Ascended to Heaven.  His promise of His Comforter His Holy-Spirit is also a factual event and to this day his Holy Spirit dwells among us.

His promise is wrapped in the love He bestowed on us and we have Victory in Him…Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever…

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

1 John 5:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

1 John 3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

                   The Assurance from The Lord
....

                  Romans 8:28-39New International Version (NIV)

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[b]

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[c] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Things to consider…

Do not indulge, temptation comes in many form…

Avoid these stages to being drawn into the act are:

Seeing + Lusting + Participating = Sinning

Remember King David did the same thing, He looked, he saw, he lusted and indulged and committed one of the most infamous act of adultery and even murder.

The Lord wants us to be without compromise…

15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot. I will vomit you out of My mouth.   Revelation 3: 15-16 NKJV

The Lord does not want us to be ‘Lukewarm’ and an example of this we can see why He chose Saul on the road to Damascus, why would Jesus choose Saul who was an avid persecutor of Christians?, because He looked at Saul as a person who was not ‘Lukewarm’ but was ‘hot’ to arrest Christian, therefore when Paul was stuck down and chosen to be a ‘Vessel’ for Christ, Saul later known as Paul became one of Jesus’ most formidable messenger to bring the Good News to the Gentiles.

WHO IS JESUS?
(All Scripture texts from  the NIV Bible)

Jesus said…”I am not of this world’, then where is He? He is Omniscient, He is the image of the invisible God, and He Lives.

He is my Redeemer and He is the Great “I AM”

His return will be His 3rd Visit.  He was here before when it all began… God said “Let there be Light” and there was Light and this Light was Jesus.

Jesus/Yeshua came before the Sun was installed on the 4th day.

His 2nd Visit was when He came as God-Emanuel, He fulfilled His Mission of Redeeming us by His Sacrifice.

He gave us His irreversible and irrevocable Gift.

This ‘Priceless’ Gift I accept and this is the Grace of Salvation from our Lord Jesus. By this I can say my Redeemer Lives!

His third and final visit will be on that day known as the ‘Day of The Lord’

Let us all look to that glorious day when the trumpet will sound, and His coming will be seen from the East to the West.

No, our Lord is not ‘too busy’ to return as some say where is He and I have been hearing of Christ’s coming and when will this be?  Our Lord is Gracious and He wants all to be saved, and His time is not ours, so just Trust Him and remain in Faith knowing that he said He will never leave you nor forsake you.  Praise Him come to Him and know that our Lord Jesus is always there for you.

Steps to Victory…

John 16:33 [Full Chapter]

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Accept His Priceless-Gift

John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

  1. Communicate with Jesus

  9. Yield to the Holy Spirit
  10. Trust the Lord
  11. He will provide a way and a solution
  12. His Way is always the Right-Way

To Ignore our Lord is an act of denying Him...

Remember:  Jesus is not the third-party bystander in our Prayers to the Father,  He is our Mediator and without Him no one comes to the Father, therefore we always go to our Father in the Holy Name of our Jesus our Redeemer, It is through His Righteousness that we are able to be presented to the Father.  T

The supremacy of our Lord...

Hebrews 1: 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs. Isaiah 61: 1, 3 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me.... (This refers to Jesus being endowed by The Father to come and be our Redeemer Hebrews 8 and Psalm 45: 6&7 are identical and it affirms The Anointing of Jesus as The Christ; which is Prophecy fulfilled)

Hebrews 6: 1 Verse 3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory,

Hebrews 1: verse 3. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in Heaven.

Hebrews 6: 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. Hebrews 6: 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie.

Touchstone: Jesus also said:
John 16
Jesus spoke of His Ascension into Heaven…  Verse 28: “I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”

Just like when Moses was looking to God in: Exodus 14: 15-16 New International Version (NIV)

15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

Waiting around is not what Jesus did. He was constantly on the move, by age Twelve He was already full of knowledge from His Father. We saw Him in the Synagogue questioning and answering the elders with authority, we saw Him over-turning the tables of the money changers in the Temple, and we saw Him healing many.

Romans 8:37-39 New King James Version (NKJV)

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

By Today's standard of communication, the above would read,

May our Lord bless you as you read these Words

To start a relationship with Jesus, visit our GREEN PASTURES Page (click the Tab above)

Today make Jesus Christ the Center of your life

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

If You know HIM you will Love and Serve HIM… by:

Romans 12:1 (NIV)

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

John 14:21 (NIV)

Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

Then live by HIS precept, as told to us in:

Matthew 6:33 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

So today we can know the affirmation of:

  1. Whom we believed
  2. In Whom we place our trust
  3. He is Faithful and Trust Worthy to defend us
  4. Who we can look to for what we need
  5. And HIS Rewards are granted to those that seek HIM FIRST…

And our Heavenly Rewards are far greater that the temporary things that will need replacing as soon as man’s short-term warranty expire so that they can sell you a service contract.

With our Lord there is a Service Contract but there is no Premium, why? Because; HE already paid it in FULL at the Cross by HIS Blood; His blood is the “Atonement” for our sins, it is the Divine Gift of Grace that He granted to each of us.

Grace is like your house payment that is past due, but there is a late fee and if you do not make the payment, it is then declared a delinquent loan, and by ignoring the bank the loan is then foreclosed… with God our life is declared PAID-In-FULL so that we can look to the future by HIS preparation for Life-everlasting….

1 John 3 NIV

1. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!  And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

 2. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

  3. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.

 2 Corinthians 5:21

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God"

Colossians 1: 15-20 New International Version (NIV)

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

For He said:  All things work together for good to those that love the Lord…

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:27-29 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

You are Complete in Christ” as Jesus Loves You and Paid It All for You to come and know Him, and by knowing Jesus as Lord of lords, all Things are Possible… because in God’s eyes you are ‘Complete in Christ’ even as you are; but God wants to make you “PERFECT” in Him, and You can be perfect this moment by coming to our Savior, and in Faith Pray…
Lord Jesus Christ, I accept in faith that You came and died for my sins and by Your Blood of Atonement offered for me, my Lord I accept You and by Your Grace I am saved knowing that it is only by Your Blood that my sins are washed away, and by Your Grace extended to me that I can look to You my Savior knowing that one day I shall see You and be brought into Your Kingdom where there shall be no more sin no more pain and be filled with the Joy of Your Holy presence my Lord and Savior.  I commit my life and my soul to You my Lord Jesus and expect to spend eternity with You my Lord, I accept Your divine saving Grace now and pray this in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer His holy Spirit will find you and growing in Christ is a daily walk with Jesus…

The Lord is our Shepherd....Psalm 23 New International Version (NIV)

A psalm of David.

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,  he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.  He guides me along the right paths  for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk  through the darkest valley,  I will fear no evil,  for you are with me;  your rod and your staff,  they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me  in the presence of my enemies.  You anoint my head with oil;  my cup overflows.  6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me  all the days of my life,  and I will dwell in the house of the LORD  forever.
 Amen

Jesus said.... "I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."

John 10:9 Jesus, the great I AM, is the entrance into the true church, and the way of access to God himself. .

Starting the day with these precepts from our Lord…

Let’s start the day by Praising our Eternal God, who is Sovereign, knowing that Jesus is the Anointed Son of our Father the Creator who said…

To proclaim Jesus as the SON of GOD:

Our blessed Jesus, as God, is omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent.

Continue to join us each day, and read the Good News. God Bless you all...

T
he TABLE OF GRACE:

“Lord let the Fruits from the work that you have given me Adorn Your Table of Grace…For You my Lord has set a table in front of our enemies and our enemy is also against You Lord, as we give You the Glory; and You said love our enemies”…

Grace: Grace is as tangible as what? Can we see Grace? Yet Grace is defined in the Webster as The Definition of GRACE

a : unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification

b : a virtue coming from God

c : a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace

Paul said in 2nd Corinthians 12: 9  And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses,

Paul was who was chosen by Jesus to be a ‘Vessel’ bearing the Word of Salvation, was also speaking of his personal experience, but speaking in third party instances so that he would not be exalting himself, here is a man that was a persecutor of Christian, a man that witnessed the stoning of Steven to death, now redeemed as a servant of the Most High, speaking as a privileged individual when he made this statement… Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a man was caught up to the third heaven. And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows— was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.  On behalf of such a man I will boast; but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in regard to my weaknesses. For if I do wish to boast I will not be foolish, for I will be speaking the truth; but I refrain from this, so that no one will credit me with more than he sees in me or hears from me.

As we see was Paul taken into Heaven?  Yes, Who God chooses to serve Him, such person will experience His calling…

Prior to Paul’s conversion, we would place Paul in the category of; Those than do not love, they do not know our Lord…

As we read that three days after Paul was struck down by our Lord, he started to preach Christ Crucified, here was a man just days before stood holding the clothes of Steven and watching a man being put to death, but within days was transformed by the Grace of God.

Think on this today...

To SEEK the Kingdom of GOD!...To Walk in Faith, knowing that the Kingdom of God goes forth in TRUTH & POWER

With JESUS on the Throne, knowing that Jesus is in Charge. The Solution is not More Religion, but More of Christ’s

Matthew 6: NIV

Jesus taught us how to pray

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:

   “‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Philippians 4: 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

We need to focus on the positive more and still remember the negative results of sins. Our Lord is saying in HIS Prayer “   “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”… He was telling us while we are here the following will apply:

He (Jesus) is as powerful here on earth as He is in Heaven

He will supply our needs here while we are here on earth

He will protect from evil, by us trusting and knowing Him

As Christians we need to emphasize the following:

The Positive aspects of following our Lord Jesus, as He is Holy

The Joy that He provides by His words of Assurance

The Victory we have in Him

The satisfaction of spreading His Good news to others, as we spread His fragrance we also receive His blessings too.

We are to tear down the barriers to achieve the secret of satisfaction in coming to Jesus and fellowship in Christ in Oneness; knowing that we can find the fulfillment of all our needs in fellowship with God.

We thank our Lord Jesus for His Faithfulness and for His unspeakable gift.

Matthew 6: NIV

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

HE ROSE TRIUMPHANTLY.... Jesus Paid It All!
This Website is sponsored by The Maurice & Eva Hoo Foundation

We need to be reminded that the Bible said....Our Lord is  a  God of Fire

Hebrews 12:28-29 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”

God made a way for us to escape His wrath, through His Son Jesus who Paid-It-All, and we are assured of this as written in  Romans 8:1-4 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Now that we have proof of the mercy of our Lord, and in Him we can have Victory, let us all come to Him that we can receive His assurance that we are transitioned from condemnation to life. To receive His Assurance place your faith in Jesus, come to the Cross, He is waiting...

Just Pray this prayer... Heavenly Father I come knowing I am a sinner and in You Lord I can trust, I confess  my sins and seek to be Saved by Your Grace as You have provided a way for me to be cleansed by Your Blood. Lord today I turn my life over to You that I can be guided by Your Holy Spirit, Lord come into my heart and make me a new creation from this day forward. Lord Jesus be with me as I now look to You as my Lord and Savior, In Your name Lord Jesus I pray... Amen.
