 The term “failure to launch,” is an increasingly popular way to describe the difficulties some young adults face when transitioning into the next phase of development—a stage which involves greater independence and responsibility. (17-28 years)

The above contrasting opposite actions;  ‘Jump the gun’ is to move too quickly, and ‘failure to launch’ can be defined as an inability to leave home and support oneself.

Prayer:

For sure ‘Great things are going to happen’ because Jesus said so…

As we read the news events of the day one could wish for the simpler times of life, when there was less stress, less strife.  Our world is a world of a constant battle and there are really no simpler times.

The battle started in the Garden of Eden when Eve was tempted by the serpent.  And this ‘serpent’ was the devil.  Now we may wonder why did God allow the devil to enter the Garden of Eden?  Because Adam and Eve were made in the likeness of God, created with ‘Free-will’ and the devil is always roaming seeking those he can destroy.  The devil was cast out of heaven and even now this evil one is lurking seeking to tempt you and me.

Adam and Eve were not robots and so are we… God gave Moses the Commandments and the purpose of this is to define Right from wrong.  We are given the freedom of choice.

God could have stopped the devil from entering the garden, God trusted Adam, and even after they went against God’s command of ‘Not to eat of the tree’ God was not surprised, God knew beforehand that His creation of Man was good… but not yet ‘Perfect’

We are made ‘Perfect’ in Christ… not by our own ability, but by His Grace and through His Redemption we are cleansed as we are covered by His Divine Blood, and through His Resurrection we are made Perfect.

Jesus is our Redeemer, and it is only through Him that we can come to God the Father. Just as when Adam and Eve sinned, Jesus who was there in the Garden and He did this…Genesis 3: 21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins and clothed them.

The killing of the animal from which God made the coats of skin for Adam and Eve, was the first step of what was to come.  Jesus who was there from the beginning, also came 2016 years ago to repeat this process for all mankind. When He went to the Cross and gave Himself for us so that we too would be ‘Covered’ by His Blood, and He Resurrected three days after the crucifixion to an everlasting life, so that we too who accepted Him will have life more abundantly.

John 10:10 The Word of Jesus…

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

So, the focus today of “Making it on your Own’ we can to a certain extent, but our ability is limited and on our own it leads only to a loop without ending. In Christ we are shown the way through Him as He provided the only way to His Kingdom.

Remember Jesus said…” I am NOT of this world” and He also said…

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

14 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[b] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Our Lord said that when we repent of our sins, He will not just mitigate them, He will cancel them, and He will forget them. let us accept our Lord’s Word of ‘Removal’ and we too must also forget and move forward in Joy knowing that we are ‘Forgiven’ and not to re-live the sin as the evil one would like to repeat the Temptation in our memory as ‘his bondage of sin’.  We need to thank our Lord for the infinite statement of HIS Love, His forgiveness and above all His Redemption by His Grace.

 Coming to our Lord:

Hebrews 4: 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need

Principle:

Jesus our Redeemer sets aside the Judgment of His Father…

By Jesus’ coming as a Man for us, by His Glory and Grace we are Saved…

          Waiting on God? Is He late? No… He is always on time

        God will finish what He has started, and in you His Plan, He will complete…

God will only start goodness in our lives… and the good that He has sown in us He will nurture and bring it to maturity. One may wonder what is that ‘Goodness’ is it always for His own Glory?

Some examples of whom God chose to be blessed with His ‘Goodness’ were not benevolently declared, as in the case of Joseph, whom his brothers sold, and subsequently saved them, or Moses, who God chose to serve the nation of Israel. We see that Job who lived a rich life, suffered the lost of his fortune and health, but; God restored it all and more. In the case of Boaz, who married Ruth and played a part in the lineage of Jesus, all the ‘Goodness’ in these men were guided by the Lord.

So, today as Scripture said…  Philippians 1:6

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; In Context

History is still been written, what you do today or yet to be done, could be part of tomorrow’s history. You may say that… ‘I play such an insignificant role in the world’ and as such, you may say you cannot make history. An incident like just speaking to your neighbor over the fence, could impact him or her, who I turn tell other of Christ, and your message continues on and reach a hundred and keep growing. This is highly possible, as the beauty of mathematics enlarges the outreach exponentially., if you tell 10 people about Christ in one Month and those ten that heard the message spread it to another 10 at the end of  the 10th month you would have reached 10,240 people in total.

So, don’t procrastinate and start spreading the Joy of the Lord. Layup treasure I heaven…

Commentary: One could say that the most precious thing in our life is life itself.  This could be the most precious thing we possess, but what is life? It is just a vapor… James 4:14

Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. James 4:13-15 (in Context) James 4 (Whole Chapter)

Today we have the assurance of the faithfulness of our Lord… “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”.  Philippians 15: 5

In the presence of the Almighty… be prepared, ready or not, He is present.

Time is fleeting-by, but messing with your ‘Body-clock’ is dangerous…

MESSING WITH YOUR body’s clock is dangerous business, in fact it could make you sick – or worse.

The inner timekeeper dubbed the “circadian clock”, governs the day-night cycle that guides sleep and eating patterns, hormones and even body temperature.

Imagine… identified genes that regulate the clock, and the mechanism by which light can synchronize it.

Yet humans have a long history of overriding the circadian-driven need for sleep, Russell Foster, a professor of circadian neuroscience at Oxford University told AFP – the most obvious example being night work.

Such tinkering with Mother Nature can have serious consequences ranging from impulsive behavior to life-threatening conditions such as obesity and cancer, the experts say.

Just look at the poor health records of shift workers such as nurses or factory laborer.

The World Health Organization has already raised the red flag, with a 2007 report noting that “circadian disruption” is “probably carcinogenic” – which means cancer-causing.

The trouble is that the human body never really adapts to operating outside the normal cycle of working by day and sleeping at night.

Like everyone else, shift workers’ biological clocks are set by the rising and setting of the Sun – not their work schedule.

“There is no medicine in the world that allows you to… speed up or slow down your body clock,” said Claude Gronfier, a neurobiologist at France’s Inserm research institute.

An ‘exciting stage’ 

When workers force themselves to stay awake, it triggers the release of stress hormones such as cortisol – the same one that rushes into your blood in a life-or-death situation.

The chemicals may keep you on your feet, but they are a bargain with the devil.

For example, cortisol works to suppress the immune system and in the long run can make you more susceptible to a range of illnesses, including cancer.

Such a lifestyle also opens one up to eating outside of normal times, when the body’s metabolism might be lower, and the calories are more likely to be converted into fat instead of being burnt up.

“You’re raising your heart rate, raising your blood pressure and insulin levels at a time that you would not ordinarily do that,” (Excerpt from AFP)

So, while time is fleeting-by, use it well, get more sleep. Do not eat outside of normal times, eat more leafy green vegetable, fish, Blue berries, and exercise. Reduce the calories and do not let them turn into fat.

This is our ‘Blog’ for today. Yet we will Praise the Lord for His Graciousness, His love, and His Divine Redemption as we look to Him as the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

Jesus said…

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity… Lord Jesus Messiah, we lift You up on High and give You our Praises and thank You for Your Divine Grace. Lord today we go in Faith knowing that You are interceding for us and that we can look to that day when we shall see You as You are. Devotional for Friday May 22, 2020

Forgiven and set-free. Your sins are removed as far as the east is to the west…

Psalm 103:12

As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

Commentary::

The wonder of our Lord’s creation never ceases to amaze us, even the Locust fly in formation and will not wander from their ranks. This is why when they invade a field, they can eat the crop down in one swoop eating away a swath of vegetation. To think that these wild insects being so small but with a sense of order; they do not break ranks nor crowd each others, they work as a team.  Christian should adopt the order of God’s smallest insects, just like the Ants they are governed by hierarchy, and are very industrious, the leaf-cutting ants are an example of performing large-scale feats as they carry a leaf at least a hundred times their size.

We are probably the least self-taught of all of God’s creation, we are told what to do, through childcare, KinderCare, grade schools, through to college. Our learning process accounts for a great portion of our lifespan.  One of the greatest source of what we really need to know, this source is within the covers of the Holy Bible… One may say it is more like a history book of events, Factually, the events recorded are historical and as such; Genesis through Revelation provides us with how the Lord created, cared, provided, protected and made mankind a body of nations. The Bible revealed the Good News of Jesus’ Redemption through His Crucifixion and Divine Resurrection.

Reflecting back to yesterday’s commentary on the bible…

What’s the Bible all about:

  1. It is a Book about God;  In Genesis it documents the Creation of all things by God
  2. It’s a book about Jesus,  He is the center of the it all, In Isaiah the prophecy of Jesus was foretold 700 years before Christ was born.
  3. It’s a Book about Salvation: It is the Word of God, which is sharper than a two-edged sword.
  4. It’s a book about us:  God so loved us that he sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins. The Bible focus on us , and chronologically document the life and times of mankind.
  5. It’s a Book about today: The Bible is full of Prophecies that are being realized during our time, and today we can read the Bible and it is as contemporary within the hour and foretells the future that are unfolding before our eyes.

Man is a unique being, why? Because God gave us dominion over all living beings; but He also gave us a unique ability to ‘Think’ and to have the Power of ‘FAITH’ by His GRACE. Romans 10: 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. And Faith comes by GRACE, as it is by His Grace that we can Hope in Faith knowing that He is God Eternal

Ephesians 2: 4  But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses (Sin), made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. They are no longer strangers and are reconciled to God, and fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

His Faithfulness:

Focus: Acts 19: NKJV - Miracles Glorify Christ

11 Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.

13 Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” 14 Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so.

15 And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”

16 Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered[b] them, and prevailed against them,[c] so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 

Commentary:

Even the evil spirit knew the ‘pretenders’ and it is almost humorous to see… “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”  16 Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 

Jesus said…  Matthew 7:15You Will Know Them by Their Fruits] “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.

 

Proverbs 9:10

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Commentary:

Wisdom could be considered more valuable than gold, it is said that the person with the gold makes the ‘golden’ rules. So the rules are from God as all the gold belongs to him, but as we read in Revelation, this precious metal will be used as ‘brick-pavers’ for the street of Heaven.

It is amazing that God trusted us so much that He made us with ‘Free-Will’. God also endowed some of the ‘Poorest’ nation with the most Precious Metal and Gemstones, and the people of these nations continue in poverty because of the exploitation of their resources by fellowmen.   This why we have ‘Blood-Diamond’, ‘Jungle Gold’ and still the greed goes on...

God provided these to be used for Joy and to share among mankind, but as we see Diamonds are used to fuel war and conflicts.

Without God all is lost, the Bible said…

For as long as you have been around, it is the belief that the text above about when the ‘End’ will come.  We want to point out that the ‘Gospel’ is the Key Element of this text, and what is the Gospel?  Read on…

The gospel is the good news about what Jesus Christ has done to reconcile sinners to God. Here’s the whole story:

  1. The one and only God, who is holy, made us in his image to know him (Gen. 1:26-28).
  2. But we sinned and cut ourselves off from him (Gen. 3; Rom. 3:23).
  3. In his great love, God sent his Son Jesus to come as King and rescue His people from their enemies—most significantly their own sin (Ps. 2; Luke 1:67-79).
  4. Jesus established His kingdom by acting as both a Mediating Priest and a priestly sacrifice—He live a perfect life and died on the cross, thus fulfilling the law Himself and taking on Himself the punishment for the sins of many (Mark 10:45; John 1:14; Heb. 7:26; Rom. 3:21-26, 5:12-21); then He rose again from the dead, showing that God accepted His sacrifice and that God’s wrath against us had been exhausted (Acts 2:24, Rom. 4:25).
  5. He now calls us to repent of our sins and trust in Christ alone for our forgiveness (Acts 17:30, John 1:12). If we repent of our sins and trust in Christ, we are born again into a new life, an eternal life with God (John 3:16).

Changing course… sometimes we must change direction and head in a different direction… Jesus said this… Shake the very dust off your feet.

Matthew 10:14

And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.

Every disappointment will lead to good… One of the most monumental disappointments in the Bible would be Saul’s being struck down on the road to Damascus, this led him to goodness as Jesus chose Saul to be a Vessel bringing Salvation to the world.

Today as we read the New Testament, we are reading a lot of Paul’s writing as he presented Jesus as the supreme eminent one who is God in One of the Father.

Colossians 1: 15-23 Christ’ Supremacy…(NKJV)

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Reconciled in Christ

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

As the Worldwide Pandemic of Coronavirus persist…

Do this…   Stay the Course, do not be deterred by any fear, stay in faith and Hope…

Do not do what Peter did… he looked away while walking on the water to go to Jesus.

Matthew 14:

25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.

27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, [c]“Be of good cheer![d]It is I; do not be afraid.”

28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw [e]that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.

33 Then those who were in the boat [f]came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”

Sometimes we get a little out of our comfort zone and start to think about the ‘what-ifs’ and fear that things are not working out as planned. But a plan founded on the foundation of trust, dedication and the Will of the Lord should not be questioned.

So, remain in faith, stay the course and trust in the Lord.

Hebrews 4:15-16 

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. http://static5.bgcdn.com/images/icons/icon-audio.png

Commentary:

Back when man was living in caves, God made Spiders that had the technology of making a ‘Trap-Door’ for their habitats.  When man was trying to fish, the bears were feasting on salmon. God had to provide daily food drops to His people in the journey to Canaan. Even today there are millions still unable to feed themselves around the world, and even in this land of plenty … The United states of America!

Jesus said… “ I come so that you may have life and have it more abundantly” , so what’s the reason why so many are suffering?  The answer is simple, did we say simple? Yes… the root cause of it all is the exploitation of mankind by their fellow man.  An example in a poverty-stricken nation that had an outbreak of Cholera, the life-saving medicine was shipped in and a team of physicians went to this country, but the medicine was not available to be administered, why? The greed of men, they wanted to be ‘bribed’ before they would release the medicine, while hundreds were dying daily, the greedy government customs officials stood by with their hands outstretched looking for money.  This is an example of how many suffer from mal-nutrition and diseases that plagues the population of society.

Millions are not attending church services, let us remember the ‘Real’ reason why we attend churches… To Praise our King, not to just feed our souls, and hope for wealth.  He already knows what we need before coming.  What our Lord want from us is our Faith in Him… for His greatest Gift: Live Everlasting with HIM, just as he told the repentant thief, ‘Today you will be with me in Paradise’…  

Philippians 4:13

13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength. †

Let us give Thanks to the Lord for His mercies, His Gracious Gift and His coming Return…

Coming to the Lord: These are the saying of Jesus…

  1. Mark 10:15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

One day He will leave the Throne why? To come and get those waiting on Him, and the final gathering will be exclusive. The word ‘Exclusive’ means to exclude by a select inclusion. Be part of this inclusion by accepting His great Salvation as He already Paid your ransom and is ready to include you in this great ‘Exclusive Gathering’.

Prayer:

God will finish what He has started, and in you His Plan, He will complete…

God will only start goodness in our lives… and the good that He has sown in us He will nurture and bring it to maturity. One may wonder what is that ‘Goodness’ is it always for His own Glory?

Some examples of whom God chose to be blessed with His ‘Goodness’ were not benevolently declared, as in the case of Joseph, whom his brothers sold, and subsequently saved them, or Moses, who God chose to serve the nation of Israel. We see that Job who lived a rich life, suffered the loss of his fortune and health, but; God restored it all and more. In the case of Boaz, who married Ruth and played a part in the lineage of Jesus, all the ‘Goodness’ in these men were guided by the Lord.

So, today as Scripture said…  Philippians 1:6

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; In Context

History is still been written, what you do today or yet to be done, could be part of tomorrow’s history. You may say that… ‘I play such an insignificant role in the world’ and as such, you may say you cannot make history. An incident like just speaking to your neighbor over the fence, could impact him or her, who I turn tell other of Christ, and your message continues on and reach a hundred and keep growing. This is highly possible, as the beauty of mathematics enlarges the outreach exponentially., if you tell 10 people about Christ in one Month and those ten that heard the message spread it to another 10 at the end of  the 10th month you would have reached 10,240 people in total.

So, don’t procrastinate and start spreading the Joy of the Lord. Layup treasure I heaven…

Acts 13:22 In Context

After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.’

God know each of us. You are known to Him, and we all know of David’s sin…

Two thirds of the Psalms were written by David. We know what David was best known for. David slew Goliath, and the event of David and Bathsheba; these two events made him famous.

But he should be more famous as he wrote most of the Psalms expressing his love and trust in God.

The 23rd Psalms ‘The Lord is my Shepherd’, this along with John 3: 16 and the beloved chorus...”Jesus loves me this I know’, All there are the revelation of God’s love for us.

John 3: 16 revealed the real reason why Jesus came… Because of what our fore-parent Adam and Eve did, as God said…

Genesis 2:17

but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” In Context |

God loved us so much, but being God, He could not die for us… So, He sent Jesus who was born of a virgin, Jesus was fully Man, but also as the Incarnated One in God the Father. So, Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sin. And through the Divine Crucifixion at Calvary, the Blood of Jesus provided the remission of our sins.  Though His Blood we were pardon; and by His Divine Resurrection Jesus rose triumphantly to a life-everlasting.

God wants a ‘cheerful giver, not just a somber ‘seeker’… So, cheer-up and know that you are called today to bring your ‘first-fruit’ to God as He is the head, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, and His end is endless because He is Eternal.

Now, being made perfect but becoming defective, you may say we are being insolent by saying you and we are being defective.  Consider these parameters:

  1. First if we were ‘Perfect’ then Christ would not have to come and die for our defectiveness as we were already perfect.

  1. If we are already perfect, then we make our Lord a liar, as He said all have sinned and fall short of God’s Glory.

  1. If you or us can get to heaven on our own, then I, the writer prefers not to go, why? Because all who got there will be bragging of how they did this and did that and how all their good deeds got them there. Life will be miserable listening to these bragging stories.  So, those that die with the most toys do not believe that these trinkets will get you into God’s Kingdom.  There’s only one way…

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Since He (Jesus) is the Author and Finisher of our Faith when you seek Him first, therefore; we must know the following important factors for our daily living:

  • There can be no half-measure in coming to Him
  • He must be Preeminent above all things, cast away all idols*
  • You cannot mock God, so let us not do what Jonah did by running away
  • Spend quiet time reviewing your life’s event to see why you may follow Him
  • Do not live in the past, He said our sins are forgiven and forgotten and removed as the East from the West
  • Live by Deeds to give Him the Glory and not by just words
  • Finally, don’t be discouraged even in challenging times, know that Jesus is in Control, and He is Faithful, so when you pray, pray that all will be for His Glory and not for His providence to be used for your own pleasure. This is what the bible said.

Remember we cannot ‘test-drive’ being a Christian, you are either for Christ of against Him…

Conclusion: Philippians 4: 4-9   Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, in Jesus we come. Lord as we continue in faith reaching our Visitors let there be just One that will come to know You Lord and be counted among the Joint-Heirs in You Lord Jesus. Lord let Your messages be like ‘Wild-Fire’ spreading across the globe so that your prophecy will be fulfilled as we look to that day Lord when we shall see You as You are. Let this be a day of Praise and thanksgiving… Delight yourself in Him and He will give you the desires of your heart.

      Always Gather in Jesus’s Name, without Him there’s no connection.

In Context

Jesus is not the 3rd Party in our Prayers.

Jesus is not just a ‘By-stander’ He is our Mediator

Jesus said…

No one comes to the Father without Him…. So, when we pray, He is in our Midst. There are no One to One Prayers, All prayers are made to God the Father in the Trinity.  Jesus is ‘One’ with the Father as God in the Trinity.  Jesus is our Triune God of Father Son and Holy Spirit.

Je 17: 7-8 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord... He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream... Its leaves are always green and it never fails to bear fruit" (17:7-8).

“In Jesus’ name we pray”

Many prayers end with an abrupt ending… ‘In Jesus name we pray’; this is mention as if Jesus was not in the midst of the prayer to the Father.

Coming into the presence of the Father without Jesus is like breaking protocol… why? Jesus said no one come to the Father unless through Him.

  • There are no One on One Prayers to the Father… why? Because Jesus said; “No one comes to the Father unless through me”
  • Just like when Stephen was being stoned by the crowd, he look ip and prayed… Jesus receive my Spirit, then he saw Jesus standing at the right-hand of the Father.
  • In a meeting with your best friend Bob or Jane and John who arranged the meeting do you end the meeting by saying goodbye Bob or Jane and in John name I thank him, Wouldn’t you be saying goodbye Bob or Jane and to you John I thank you for arranging the meeting. Instead of Bye Bob and in John name I thank him?
  • So when we end our prayers to the Father and abruptly say…”In Jesus name we pray” are we making an inference to Jesus who is absent? This is out of protocol as Jesus was present and you had to be speaking to Him as well as the Father, therefore we must say… To You Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy Name, and to end with a salutation (just , like you would say to a friend have a great day… But Jesus is Sovereign and Eternal so ‘A Great day’ is too superficial; addressing our Lord it is more like…  to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…  Because His Prayer (The Lord’s Prayer) ends with, ‘For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory’… Amen.

Stephen’s final prayer…

1.         When Stephen was being stoned by the crowd, he looked up as said “Jesus receive my Spirit’ and Stephen saw Jesus standing at the Right-Hand of the Father,

2.         Why did Stephen approach Jesus and not the Father?

3.         Remember ‘No one has ever seen God except Jesus, the Son of God.

4.         The Bible said… God will not tolerate Sin and will not accept you without the Sanctification of the Atoning-Blood of Jesus.

God created us as ‘Free-thinkers’ because He trusted us, but we squandered away His Trust.

Can God have regrets? The Bible said yes, He did

But in spite of our disappointment to The Lord, He loved us so much He sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us.

Jesus said He was not of this world… the Bible said For God so loved the ‘world’ and it also warned us against the ‘world’

We need to know that Jesus is not the ‘New-Kid’ on the block… He said before Abraham was, He was.

Why do we take the long way home? The forty-year journey was prolonged by the Israelites themselves. Why? Without faith it is not possible to please God. Their UN BELIEF in who God extended the journey.

Moses said “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent”, So, the Lord empowered him...

Yesterday we spoke of ‘fear of public-speaking’. Speaking to a king may even be more fearsome… Moses had no idea that God had chosen him to lead His people out of bondage.  We too are more or less like Moses, why? Maybe the Lord has chosen you to be a part of what He would like to accomplish, do you have any idea what that might be?

When Moses told the Lord that  “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you’?” Then the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?”

“A staff,” he replied.

Exodus 4:3

The Lord said, “Throw it on the ground.” Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it. In Context | Full Chapter | 

 Then the Lord said to him, “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail.” So Moses reached out and took hold of the snake and it turned back into a staff in his hand. “This,” said the Lord, “is so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has appeared to you.”

Then the Lord said, “Put your hand inside your cloak.” So Moses put his hand into his cloak, and when he took it out, the skin was leprous[a]—it had become as white as snow.

10 Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”

11 The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”

13 But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”

14 Then the Lord’s anger burned against Moses and he said, “What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and he will be glad to see you.15 You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth; I will help both of you speak and will teach you what to do. 16 He will speak to the people for you, and it will be as if he were your mouth and as if you were God to him. 17 But take this staff in your hand so you can perform the signs with it.”

Even today, God through His Son Jesus is using ordinary people to perform His mission. God is not dead, He is alive, He is Omniscient, Omnipotent and is the same Yesterday and Today.

So be on the alert to watch and pray and to take the initiative following His lead.  We can play a minor role, but that minor role could be a major role in someone’s life. Share your ‘Great-Moments’ with the Lord, share it with others and see the outcome and changes that you could make.

So, today I want to share the Great-Moments I had, and this is coming to the Lord, and writing this piece to share God’s Power and His Love.

What God did in using Moses, He can and will use someone that we may know of, including yourself in fulfilling His prophecy, not that you or that someone will make any changes to the Will of the Lord, but to carry out His Will.

Ephesians 5:17

Why we will never be ashamed in trusting Him, because He said so, and His Providence is bestowed so by His abundance of from the table that He has set before us so others will see the fruit from Him.

You can survive the worst of times, even death… use your golden parachute

Did you know you have a ‘Golden Parachute? Maybe it is not a Parachute as many will be ascending rather than taking a dive. 

Therefore, it will be a Silver-Rocket.

The terminology of a ‘Golden-Parachute’ describes the grand exit as a financial lump sum payment when an executive is dismissed, replaced or his position is no longer needed to be filled.

Survive even ‘death’… we are pleased say that this is highly possible and there exist that ‘quantum-launch’ that is far greater than the golden-parachute.

Focus: God gave us dominion over all living things and he gave us ‘Free-will’; God in His infinite Power and Glory trusted us and because He is God and His Creations were made for us as He made us in ‘His-Likeness’. As God said…” Let US make man in our likeness” we were made by His hands   He spoke the elements and all things into being, He made us and breathed Life into us. And this ‘Life” is the Spirit that God endowed to each of us.

As scientists continue their research, the recent discovery of quantum vibrations in microtubules inside brain neuron may be what Jesus referred to as a ‘Grain of Mustard’ Seed…  Quantum-Physics is still a mystery, and this is the utopia that scientists are trying to achieve, the ability to travel at the speed of light is what man would like to achieve. Yet God has already made this provision, as Jesus ‘Ascended’ and as we said in a previous posting thousands of believers are performing this feat daily as they too ‘Ascended’ to the presence of the Lord.

Coming to the Lord:

Come to the Lord while there is time, as He said now in the time of Salvation… Remember you cannot drive your car without insurance. Protecting your vehicle and yourself by insurance is mandatory, but there is a greater need to have the ultimate assurance… The Priceless Gift of the Grace and Salvation from Jesus our Redeemer is your ‘Umbrella-Assurance’ and Jesus said come unto me…

Good News -His Faithfulness:

An atheist was taking a walk through the woods, admiring all that the “accident of evolution” had created.

“What majestic trees! What powerful rivers! What beautiful animals!” he said to himself.

As he walked alongside the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. As he turned to look, he saw a 7-foot grizzly charge towards him.

He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder and saw the bear closing in on him.

He tried to run even faster, so scared that tears were coming to his eyes. He looked over his shoulder again, and the bear was even closer.

His heart was tumping frantically as he triedto run even faster, but he tripped and fell on the ground.

He rolled over to pick himself up and saw the bear right on top of him raising his paw to kill him.

At that instant he cried out “Oh my God!”

Just then, time stopped; the bear froze; the forest was silent; the river even stopped moving.

A bright light shone upon the man, and a voice came out of the sky saying…

“You deny my existence all of these years; teach others I don’t exist; even credit my creation to a cosmic accident, and now do you expect me to help you out of this predicament?”

“Am I to count you as a believer now?” said the voice.

The atheist, ever so proud, looked into the light and said, “It would be rather hypocritical to ask to be a Christian after all these years, but could you make the bear a Christian”

“Very well,” said the voice.

As the light went out, the river ran, and the sounds of the forest continued, the bear put his paw down. The bear then brought both paws together, bowed his head and said…

“Lord, I thank you for this food, which I am about to receive.”

Sometimes our desires are not provided, and we may feel that God is not hearing…  But He did hear, but as James said… James 4:3

Commentary:

Each of us have one or more mountains that we face.  Climbing even a steep hill is rugged, in my youth we lived close to the foothills of a Hill that was part of a small mountain range. The experience of climbing for a 7-year-old boy to me this was a major feat to get past the first 10 feet and looking down, for a kid this vantage point would be the equivalent of Edmond Hillary’s conquering the summit of Everest.

When our Lord was referring to Mountains, was he referring to a physical mountain? Or the challenges in our lives? Our Lord in His Infinite realms could move a mountain, but He also said O Ye of little faith… His definition of Faith was Divine, and His statement “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, we could move a mountain.  Our Lord in His Infinite mind knew our capabilities and this is why the “Depth’ of the Faith that He described he reserved for that ‘Last Minute’ of consciousness that we believers will have before passing from this world. This is the ‘Depth’ of our Faith that we will exercise during our transition to Him, and this event is done in the ‘Twinkling of an eye’ .

Let us adopt the age-old saying of ‘not to make a mountain out of a molehill’ this idiom applies to the Forgiveness by our Lord, as we discussed that forgiveness of our sin by our repentance  to our Lord, He not only forgives but He forgets. And the only reason why we are reminded of the sin is because the devil wants to remind you and keep you in the bondage of sin.  So, when our Lord has forgiven us of our sin that we sought His forgiveness, we are able to now shift to the Victory Lane, and no more standing in the ‘loser’s lane…  Because in Christ we have Victory, and we can claim Victory in HIM because His Word is Truth and His Faithfulness is forever.

We all have heard that there are no Atheist in the Fox Holes of war, and this could be true as man inherently fears death.   Today we do not have to be in a Fox Hole on the battlefront, our vulnerability is Anywhere- if they knew the Lord, to the others, they are on a long journey to a place described by our Lord Jesus where the rich man went and saw Lazarus across the Chasm, we read that the rich man lingered on the brink of dying but really never dying.  Therefore, with this said… let us claim Victory in Christ, by coming to Him and receiving His Priceless gift.

We cannot work our way into His Kingdom, because God will not tolerate Sin, and we are all sinners, if this is so, then we are all doomed? No, because God our Father sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us by His Crucifixion and His Divine Resurrection so that we can be forgiven and receive His Salvation, as Jesus said…”No one comes to the Father except through Him” He was saying unless we are ‘Born-Again’ we cannot enter into the Kingdom.  What is Born-Again?  We were born in Sin because of Adam, but by Jesus’ Crucifixion and Resurrection we now have a new Birth in Him… Praise Him for His Graciousness.  Our Lord Jesus not only saved us by His Sacrifice on the Cross , He sits on the Throne of Righteousness at the Right-Hand of His Father our Creator and He intercedes for us.  We are privileged to have Jesus our Lord and Savior, our Redeemer and our Intercessor.

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that through You our Savior we are made Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom.  Lord we pray that our Visitors will be guided by Your Good News, Lord bless this day as we go forward in Faith and knowing that all our needs are provided, and we give You thanks knowing that Your faithfulness and Your Covenant will never change. Lord,  we pray in Your Holy Name and to You Jesus our Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory, Now and Forevermore… Amen.

Believe Him… Christ came so we may have life, and he said “More” abundantly. Receive him and His abundance

This is not a prosperity sermon; it is all about what Jesus said.

The syndrome of poverty must be broken, and the Lord can do this today…

Unless you have earned it…  it is not deserved. This applies to earthy wealth, in the Heavenly -realms, Jesus Paid It All, and it is by His Providence that we are Spiritually wealthy.

Your biggest break is here, and you did not earn it. And when you are spiritually wealthy the cycle of poverty is broken. Why? Because Jesus love you and cares for you…

John 10:10 NIV

 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

 This is not ‘Prosperity preaching’ it is founded on what Jesus said…

Matthew 6:33 [Full Chapter] But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

The key-factor here is Seek HIM First, and the next is ‘As-well’. The scripture said…’Seek ‘First’ His ‘Kingdom’ but this is now we are to do, because we cannot get to His Kingdom without Him. Therefore. Jesus spoke in reference to the Kingdom, but He did also say…

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

So, the reference of ‘As-Well’ means after… Seeking Him, Receiving Him, Knowing Him and acknowledge that…

Commentary: Millions of eggs are laid daily and from these eggs baby chicks are hatched in incubators for the broiler-chicken farms daily.  The question today how was the first chicken born without an egg?  If any of our readers have this answer, please email us and we will share the answer.

Just like the Egg, and many more ‘un-answered’ questions that are mysteries to mere men, we still do not know how the exact speed of rotation for Planet Earth was determined. Earth spins at the equator at 1,038 miles per hour (1,670 kph). The mid-latitudes of the U.S. and Europe speed along at 700 to 900 mph.  The mystery is; if Earth is rotating why are we not ‘falling off the planet’? The gravitational pull may be part of the answer, so above all; these grand-designs of our Creator provided the uniqueness of His Creation.

Notice the precise speed of 1,038 MPH not 1,039 or 1,040 MPH... but precisely at 1,038 MPH; MIT, Harvard, Princeton or any other Institutes of Technology could not arrive at the proper equation even in a billion years.  Therefore, the Chicken and the egg dilemma is considered a challenge to all, believers or atheists.

The theory of evolution has been touted that things do evolve, therefore let’s see where the egg came from?

The Text today asked… How will we call on Him if we do not believe in Him? And how will anyone believe if there is no bearer of His Good news?  And how will they hear without the spreading of His Word?

The answer is… We are commanded to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth…

The other mystery of Gods Providence…

What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory—

Happy Mother’s Day

On Mother’s Day we should remember our Mothers by not just sending roses, chocolate, or a gift, but to remember to thank her for her Faith in God that brought us up in the Light of our Lord.

A Christian Mother is one of the greatest influences in our lives…

For those of us that are blessed with a Christian Mother we can truly thank our Lord for His Grace through our maternal Mom.

Nothing replaces the love of our Mom; a Mother is a Blessed person to bear a living being and to nurture and bring up her child under the guidance of our Lord.

Only the presence of our Lord in the homes of our mother brought the Grace that blossomed into the love of a Christian mother. 

History gave us mothers with a difference, our Christian Moms were loving, and caring, but there were mothers that were off the chart, like Nero’s mother that history said was a murderess. So, thank our Lord for Christian Moms, and remember that it is by the Grace of our Lord that she is saved and so are we.

Prayer…

Lord we thank You for all the Mothers and especially the Christian Moms around the world and ask your continued blessings on all as they continue to bring their families to You Lord.

To You Lord is the Power and the Glory Lord Jesus… Amen.

The following is a brief history of the National Day of Prayer in the USA, (The information is from the official site of the National Day of Prayer Organization)  

The National Day of Prayer is a vital part of our heritage. Since the first call to prayer in 1775, when the Continental Congress asked the colonies to pray for wisdom in forming a nation, the call to prayer has continued through our history, including President Lincoln’s proclamation of a day of “humiliation, fasting, and prayer” in 1863. In 1952, a joint resolution by Congress, signed by President Truman, declared an annual, National Day of Prayer. In 1988, the law was amended and signed by President Reagan, permanently setting the day as the first Thursday of every May. Each year, the president signs a proclamation, encouraging all Americans to pray on this day. Last year, all 50 state governors plus the governors of several U.S. territories signed similar proclamations.

1952   Harry S. Truman declares a National Day of Prayer and signs into law an annual
observance there of – United States Congress passed Joint Resolution 382 on April 17, 1952/ President Truman signs Public Law 82-324 (Public Law 82-324; 66 Stat. 64—April 17, 1952).

The National Day of Prayer is Significant

The National Day of Prayer has great significance for us as a nation. It enables us to recall and to teach the way in which our founding fathers sought the wisdom of God when faced with critical decisions. It stands as a call to us to humbly come before God, seeking His guidance for our leaders and His grace upon us as a people. The unanimous passage of the bill establishing the National Day of Prayer as an annual event, signifies that prayer is as important to our nation today as it was in the beginning.

Like Thanksgiving or Christmas, this day has become a national observance placed on all Hallmark calendars and observed annually across the nation and in Washington, D.C. Last year, local, state, and federal observances were held from sunrise in Maine to sunset in Hawaii, uniting Americans from all socio-economic, political, and ethnic backgrounds in prayer for our nation. It is estimated that over two million people attended more than 30,000 observances organized by approximately 40,000 volunteers. At state capitols, county court houses, on the steps of city halls, and in schools, businesses, churches and homes, people stopped their activities and gathered for prayer.

His Promise:

 When is your payday? Is it today, make it every day a pay day?

God’s pay scale is greater than what you can earn from your job, how is that possible?

He pays us by His Grace and His Providence is a heavenly treasure.

Today, find the answers in the Bible. Be hungry for His Word. Receive the Joy of knowing His Faithfulness. Know that you you will never be ashamed in trusting Him, and He will never be ashamed in presenting you to the Father.

“You earned it and deserved it” … a measure here on earth and also in heaven

Earning a reward is gaining something… deserving a penalty is a setback.  Advancement is a choice one chooses to achieve. In life victory is not gained by default, it is gained by performance.

The best piece of music you ever heard may have been performed after numerous practice sessions. Unless you are like the late Johnny Cash, he could read a song and just sing it and it became a recorded hit.  One such song by Johnny Cash is… Sunday Morning coming down… Johnny’s mission in life was to sing Gospel. When Johnny signed with Sun Records®, the publisher did not want him to sign gospel, but he did it, as in his first hit of ‘Walking the Line; that he sung at every concerts for 40 years.

Yes, Johnny ‘Walked the line’ as he had Jesus in his heart.  June Carter Cash his beloved wife once told the story of her discussion with Ruth Graham (Wife of Dr. Billy Graham) June asked her if she liked the Fur-Coat she gave her, Ruth responded by telling her she sold it, the next day June had another Fur-Coat shipped to Ruth. 

June and Johnny were well provided for as they travelled the world and proclaimed Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and as they journeyed home to the Lord, the same measure of rewards was poured out on them by the Lord.

Some may say these reflections are on the past… No, they are futuristic, as we reflect on those who are there in Glory and this is eternal Glory.

Commentary: The Egyptians placed grains in the hands of their mummies hoping that the grains would of use to then in the future. But, we are told by Jesus…  “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain”.

So, we see that the grains in the hands of the mummy remained alone and never reproduces.

When Jesus said…  “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain”; Jesus was using this as a metaphor of His Crucifixion declaring His Triumphant Resurrection… His reference to…” If it dies, it produces much grain was a declaration of His Saving Grace through His Blood of Atonement. 

We who are washed in His Blood through His Holy Spirit, His blood is a SEAL applied on each of us as a ‘Deposit’ paid by our Lord. We are bought at a price, a price so astounding it’s Priceless, but He gives it ‘Free’ and He is ready to place this ‘Deposit’ on you making you eligible to be with Him in His Kingdom. A place Jesus called ‘Paradise’

The Lord will separate the wheat from the chaff… what are we Grains or Chaff?  Today let us be Seeds worthy of our Savior’s Showers of Blessing.   His mercies endure forever upon His people.

Key Factor:  There is nothing better than to know that you can say…

” I AM A CHILD OF THE MOST-HIGH”

Principle: Repentance is turning away from sin and turning to God.

Confession is not a salvation… To confess one’s sin doesn’t save you from the sin. Confession with acknowledgement of our sin against God must include asking His Forgiveness plus turning from our sin towards God through Jesus Christ our Savior who redeemed us.

Being sorry for our sin is like what Judas did, after he betrayed Christ he went out and threw the thirty pieces of silver away and hung himself.  This was not a repentance.  Repentance is only in Christ Jesus who is the only way that we can receive forgiveness for sins.

If feeling sorry for what we have done wrongfully could save us from God’s wrath, then Christ died in vain.  Salvation is only through His Grace… We are saved by Grace and not of anything we do…

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,not of works, lest anyone should boast.

  • There are no Super Christian, no one has any more of the Holy Spirit than you or me… Remember our Lord makes no preference.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come. Lord Jesus as Your Word stated that You will never leave us nor forsake us, we are thankful and in privileged by Your Grace and Salvation.  Lord be with our Visitors and grant us all Your Divine Providence, in our Holy Name we pray Lord Jesus.  Amen.

Who’s waiting for whom? Are you waiting on God, or is God waiting on you?

Many of us may be waiting on God, and for some God is waiting on them.

Two things to be guarded against…

Do not get the Pharaoh’s syndrome ( Ignoring the True God)

Never put God to the Test.

While Moses was telling Pharaoh to let his people go, Pharaoh was ignoring the God of Israel, and he did put God to the test. We all know how this ended.

Today, there’s a storm brewing and we dont know of it yet. Just like the Covid-19 Pandemic. 

Whoever created this Virus, will learn a lesson by the manifestation of…

 Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

Where’s the Good News today? Here’ some Good News… God has placed our nation in a pivotal position led by men of faith.

And we can trust our Lord as He said…

Romans 8:31-39 [Full Chapter]

God’s Everlasting Love ] What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

Who are you waiting on? Know this… God is waiting on you. So, stop waiting on God and come to Him and know that He is ready to do the best for you. Imagine, God said to Samuel?

1 Samuel 3:10

Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other  times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.”

Here we see, God called, and Samuel responded.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus... just as You spoke, and Samuel said; ‘Your servant hears’ Lord we are listening. Lord we thank You for Your covenant of ‘No weapon formed against Your people will prosper’. Lord we are comforted knowing; ‘Greater is You in us than those in this world’.

Lord thank You for our Visitors and bless us all in Your Holy Name we pray. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

 Do you care what happens to your neighbor?

Start this day with a tankful of love for your work, your neighbors, even your enemies, and top it off with the Love of Christ.

Romans 8:35

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

 Today as we go to the Lord, let us not put our personal needs above the quest for the scripture of the Gospel to be spread across the world.

He knows our needs, and He overlooked our faults.

You may say “fault? I really done have any… guess what, if you were perfect then Jesus would not need to die. And if you say, “I am without faults”, then you made Jesus a liar…

Jesus said…

John 3:7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’

If you knew the cure for cancer and did not tell anyone, how would you feel seeing your friends dying? And not sharing the Good News? The equivalent to this is to know the Salvation of Christ and His Divine Grace and not being Sharing this.

Even our canine friends are now able to diagnose thyroid cancer. Dogs are trained to identify a person that has Thyroid cancer.

Focus: Start the week with Optimism… why there is so many doom & gloom messages backed by the news around the world?

What sells newspaper?  Among the top issues, are war, weather, disaster, money, and crime, In a list of 19 categories, and "celebrity scandals" and Cartoons…

The message which is the Gospel is the Good-News… The Love of God is stronger, greater than anything that we could ever do, all He asks of us is to come to Him and receive His Salvation, giving us the privilege of being saved by his Grace, not of anything that we do or can do, as it is only by His Grace we are saved and not of our selves.

Faith Triumphs in Trouble

5 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Commentary:

In life we have some circle of influence though some connections of one form or the other. In this world of ‘Social Networking’ the chain of friendship spans the global landscape.  The meaning of ‘Friend’ has become so over-used it is now meaningless in some instances. What is a Friend?  It is said a friend is one that is closer than a brother.

Oneness in Christ can be through any of the following:

  • Our Prayer time with our Lord
  • Community Worship at Church
  • Giving Thanks at Dinner
  • Bible Study
  • Meeting with friends or even with strangers in spreading His message
  • Engaged in His mission

Prayer:

Thank You Father for providing Your Circle of Influence through Your Word of Life, which gave us Your enlightenment by Your Grace.  Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Eternal Sovereign God in Your Holy Trinity; we Praise You Lord and thank You for Your Graciousness and Your Saving Grace. Lord bless our Visitors today and give us Your messages to bring many to You Lord. We pray in Your precious name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

If you had one wish what would it be?

A wish is a hope, and hope is believing in something that is not seen, but when done

in faith, all things are possible in the Name of our Lord Jesus…

Do this…     Giving Thanks and in Faith believe that our requests have been heard and granted, Jesus said this.

Mark 11:23 

Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. In Context 

Remember…    Never brag about tomorrow, the future belongs to the Lord, and it is by His will we have tomorrow.

Commentary: One could say that the most precious thing in our life is life itself.  This could be the most precious thing we possess, but what is life? It is just a vapor… James 4:14

Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. James 4:13-15 

The famous comedian Rodney Dangerfield once said, “I am so old, so I do not buy green bananas” But Jesus said… “I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” John 15: 5

Today we have the assurance of the faithfulness of our Lord… “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”.  Philippians 15: 5

Because God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life… John 3: 16

What was the bleakest moment you have ever faced?

A Bleak moment can be an eminent danger that you faced, or a period of suffering from an illness.

A Bleak moment could be a ‘Near Miss’… like missed by an oncoming vehicle, or almost drowned.

Have you ever come close to the ‘brink’ thinking this is the end?  This is a real life experience that I can relate to… flying home from Canada as we entered the US Air-space I looked out the window and saw a Jetliner headed straight into our place, it was so close that I could see the face of the pilot in the in-coming plane, with seconds to spare our plane took a dive sending the stewardess and the beverage cart right into the cockpit door.  This is what I would say is a real near miss.  This life-experience can bring anyone to what our Lord God said in...

Isaiah 43: 2 New King James Version (NKJV)

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.

On the lighter side, the pilots needed to know that the ‘Braille-system’ does not apply in flying.  Planes do better when they avoid any object, on another occasion sitting in the cockpit next to the pilot, the pilot said...’keep an eye out for bird”. I guess the earlier the warning the better it would be.  So, in our daily lives, the watchword is keeping an eye out for sin.  While the Lord said…” Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you: He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.  Psalm 55: 22 

In spite of the loving care of our Lord, we still must be on the watch. Yet He knows our needs and overlook our faults.

Conclusion:

God in His infinite power of Light & Love, He did reveal His love for us in the Divine Gift of His Son in Jesus Christ. God came to us in the fullness of His Grace.  He came that we might receive His pardon by His Atonement for our sins and save us from everlasting destruction.  One might say, how do we have the authority of making this statement of Everlasting Destruction?  Because we are simply repeating the Word of God, as He said we are Created in His Likeness, and He also said that it is appointed unto man to die and after that there is a Judgment… God is never wrong, and these two statements affirmed that we will live forever.

The Love of God found its fullest expression in the Cross, where the Lord Jesus bore the judgment for our sins, meaning that he stood in our place, and by His Crucifixion, He paid It All, and by His Blood of Atonement, we are able to receive His SEAL of Salvation.

Let us come our Lord this evening knowing that we can be...Confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.  Philippians 1: 6 NKJV

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come. Lord today as we honor You knowing that you intercedes for us to the Father, we are privileged to serve You and we are blessed to have many Visitors daily to bring them Your Good News. Lord be with our Visitors and grant each and every one Your Peace and Lord let Your Divine Blessings flow to us all as we come knowing that it is only by Grace that we are saved and not of anything we do. Lord You Word that we are comforted by that where You are there will we be. Lord Jesus we pray this in Your Holy name and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Jesus taught us how to pray

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Commentary:

Prayer is a Divine interaction with our Lord, He gave us this privilege of coming to Him, and He also revealed many secrets to us:

Faith is the Power of coming into His Presence; Faith is the key step in coming to Him,

Belief as pray we must have Faith and Believe we already received His Favor

He is Supreme and Sovereign, and we must place Him First over all

Acknowledge His Redemption and His Grace that saved us

Seek His Holy Spirit and He is Omnipresence and Omni potent.

Give Thanks and acknowledge in Faith that whatever we Ask or Think He saiHe will do

Are you facing a Giant today, Our Lord can make a way for you to overcome it and be victorious... Praise our Lord Jesus for He is Faithful.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Matthew 6: 7-14 NIV

   14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Philippians 4: 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. We need to focus on the positive more and still remember the negative results of sins. Our Lord is saying in HIS Prayer “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”… He was telling us while we are here the following will apply:

  • He (Jesus) is as powerful here on earth as He is in Heaven
  • He will supply our needs here while we are here on earth
  • He will protect from evil, by us trusting and knowing Him
  • As Christians we need to emphasize the following:
  • The Positive aspects of following our Lord Jesus, as He is Holy
  • The Joy that He provides by His words of Assurance
  • The Victory we have in Him

The satisfaction of spreading His Good news to others, as we spread His fragrance, we also receive His blessings too.

We are to tear down the barriers to achieve the secret of satisfaction in coming to Jesus and fellowship in Christ in Oneness; knowing that we can find the fulfillment of all our needs in fellowship with God.

We thank our Lord Jesus for His Faithfulness and for His unspeakable gift.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 NIV 

Principle:  Humbleness and Meekness shall triumph over pride and the boastful ones will be debased.  Pride Debases those that boast and put their trust in money and earthly things…. Correct Living is rooted in Christ    Pride displaces God from the heart in favor of Self

23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Let us not judge others and remembering that forgiveness is the first step towards building a relationship among each other.  To be less self-centered and more Christ Centered 

Conclusion:

What a privilege He gave us to be able to come to Him. Hebrews 7:25..."Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him (Jesus), because He always lives to intercede for them. (Hebrews 7:25 NIV) 

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus today as Your Houses of Worship where many are absent Lord, yet You are in their midst… Lord let Your presence be felt and let Your churches be once more filled with Hearers that will receive Your Good News of your Redemption.              The absence of light is darkness… Jesus is the light, go with Him

Darkness is the absence of Light, Evil is the absence of God, Jesus is the answer…

         Count the blessings, look beyond the obstacle, the Best is yet to Come…
The apostle Paul spoke about giving thanks in whatever state we are in….

Philippians 4:11

Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

What obstacle do you face today? Compare it to what the Lord has brought you through…

Jesus was here on earth simultaneously when John the Baptist was imprisoned by Herod, and eventually killed by Herod. Why Jesus didn’t stop Herod?  John’s mission was completed and what Herod did was in fact ‘Sending John back home to Glory’

John 12:24  Jesus said this…

Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 

Each of us is a ‘Seed’ and many good are derived through the endowments, done in memory of a loved one, and dedicated in memory of someone or an event.

Example:  The Vietnam Memorial in Washington, DC, A healing place.

A newly published study suggests that PTSD is relieved by visiting, it does, although multiple visits are apparently required for the positive effect to take hold. The paper, in the journal of Environment and Behavior, looks at the impact of the memorial on veterans' post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms.

Even this lay ministry was spawned out of the founder’s beloved wife who wrote a daily letter to the Lord as she passed her journal on at her passing.  Nevertheless… all commitments are made solely for the Glory of the Father, through Jesus our Redeemer…

 

Philippians 2:11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

  1. Factually our Lord is not asking for your love because of fear of Him. He said “If we love Him keep His commandments”  Just like when He came, He came as a Man and not as a King or as God Incarnate, The angel did make known… Matthew 1: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”
  2.  1 John 3:22 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
  3. 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

Conclusion:

We have mentioned “The Best is yet to Come” in the normal course of our daily lives, the demands of this world appears to be moving at a faster pace more than ever.  In a world of reality, the health, financial and relationships often overshadow the real purpose of why we were created.

Genesis 1:27

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Today as we start a new work week, let us affirm the preeminence of Christ as He is our Mediator, our Redeemer, our eternal Lord and Savior.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we come through Jesus our Lord and Savior… Lord Jesus thank You for this opportunity to come and give You our Praises and to affirm that all good things are from You knowing that You have said…”Never will I leave you nor forsake you” and in return Lord we give You preeminently our time seek Your Divine blessings upon our Visitors and us all.  To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

While many celebrate TGIF, we want to thank the Lord for another week of serving Him,

Thank God it’s Friday (TGIF) We thank Him for the privilege of serving for another week.

Commentary:

Ready to have a wonderful weekend?  The TGIF slogan of Thank God it’s a Friday, the end of the week … Phil 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.  Happy Monday!

Jesus said… Matthew 10: 30, 32, 33   And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.

Stop to think… Looking up and Thanking our Father, that He chose us and you because He has a mission for us all… and before the Creation of the World He Chose Jesus to Redeem us and to be made Holy and Blameless in His Sight… How Gracious is our God, Jesus our Messiah, Thank You Father in Jesus name… Amen.

His Promise:

We are safe in Christ; Life circumstances cannot separate you from His Love. Romans 8:38-39  38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

His Faithfulness:

Matthews 10: 40 “Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. 41 Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. 42 And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”

Devotion:

As we step out in Faith today, let us take the baton and run to the finish line knowing that our Lord and Savior who is the Author and Finisher of our Faith is there waiting to award His Priceless Gift.

What a privilege our Lord has given us, this is far more valuable that all Olympic Gold Medals as the Olympic Gold is worth only $620.70 each. Imagine being CO-HEIR with  Jesus?  Yes, and this is already confirmed, not just something we wish for and have to earn, it is already given to us, all we have to do is to receive it. There are no Judges, no dispute or can anyone contest it, as it is GIVEN by The Almighty!

“HIS GRACE IS GRANTED TO US THROUGH HIS CRUCIFIXION AND RESURRECTION AT CALVARY” HE IS OFFERING HIS PRICELESS GIFT OF SALVATION TO US; IT IS GIVEN BY HIS UNCONDITONAL LOVE.

Coming to our Lord:

Come and receive His Gift to us all, it is Un-Merited as we did not earn it, nor can we buy it is by His Graciousness that we can be a beneficiary.  As He did set us apart from this world  1 Corinthians 12: 27  Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

Our Lord cleared the way for us to come to HIM:

Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you.

             Are you living a s of centered life? Are you happy? Joy is found in Jesus.

Happiness is a momentary experience; Joy is a permanent experience that is tangible.

The text today is from Peter an Apostle who was a Disciple with our Lord Jesus. Peter experienced the association with Jesus during our Lord’s earthly ministry. Peter was a witness of the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus. Peter wrote 1st Peter giving instructions on Holy living to those suffering persecutions and how to deal with false teaching and evil doers in the church

1 Peter 1:8-9

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

1 Peter 2

2 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.

In Life there’s a lot of uncertainties, but one thing we can be sure of, we can accept our Lord Jesus as our Savior in the arms of faith, and say, "I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him." Do not let the thing of this world distract you, regardless of whatever it is…. We can be assured that we have a full assurance of our Lord Jesus’ interest in us. Nothing can substitute what our Lord has in store for us now in this life and at the end of our earthly lives, as in Him we have Life-Everlasting.

Let nothing satisfy us knowing that only what comes from our Eternal God will be permanent, because in Christ Jesus we are made perfect by His Atoning Blood. Let us be witnesses of the Holy Spirit bearing witness with His spirit, and we are certified that we are indeed a child of God.

Prayer… Lord let the city lights be dimmed in my view that I can see the glorious heavens that You have created by Your Divine Powers. Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and  capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore; Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broaden and grant our audience that seek You Lord; safety and as Your said Lord.. ” You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

The Coronavirus has created a severe shortage of toilet papers in the stores, it is amazing of where the priorities are placed…

Are we ready for the ultimate journey?

Are we prepared for the Rapture? Or are we prepared to be grounded here on earth?

Text:   2 Corinthians 2:11  in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes

Commentary:

The need for preparation is a prudent thing to do, but the great beyond is such an unknown factor for many, but for us Christians, we have the assurance of our Lord…

So, choose where we will spend eternity; THIS IS AN UTMOST PRIORITY.

Read 2 Corinthians 5: For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. 

For we walk by faith, not by sight. 

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

His Promise: Come to our Lord and be in Victory, He is Faithful, and He is ready to receive you, as He clearly states…

2 Corinthians 5: 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 

18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 

His Faithfulness:

2 Corinthian 8:  For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.  15 As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.”

Action/Coming to our Lord:

2 Corinthians 9: Generosity Encouraged

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written:

“They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor;
    their righteousness endures forever.”

10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

Conclusion:

He (our Lord) must receive the First Fruit… this is not just a protocol; it is a commandment. Even in Asia when we sit to eat, the guest must start first, and usually, the host, helps the guest with a helping of food, and if it is a fish, they head of the fish must face the guest, and he gets the eye ball of the fish… a strange custom, but this demonstrates respect to the guest. So, we give to our Lord the First Fruit. Remember Jesus came so that we will have life and have it more abundantly, praise Him for placing us in Victory Lane.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God in One of Your Holy Trinity, in You we have victory through Your Grace. Gracious God because of Your Saving Grace we can come boldly go and spread Your Good News to many. Lord, we thank You for the privilege of serving. Lord bless our visitors and grant in them Your Peace and as we all seek to be guided by Your Holy Spirit Lord, let us stop and know that You are God. Lord lead us to Green Pastures and to Still Waters of Life, as we go forward today in Faith knowing that You have said that we can do all things through You that strengthen us. Lord Jesus to You is the Praise and the Power and Glory now and forevermore. Amen.

Our Heritage, our Culture and our lives, what matters?

          If God is for you no one can be against you, what a great position to be in?

The Power of the Holy Spirit is greater than any person, forces or whatever.  We have read about the man of God whom He bestowed His Holy shield surrounding them.

Men like, Joseph, Moses, Job, Joshua, Elijah, Elisha, David, Paul and John…

Our Lord is Unstoppable, because He is Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent.

Think on this… For sure Moses was thinking of going to the Promised Land, all through the 40 years of leading a few million people through the wilderness, for sure Moses had his desires of entering Canaan.  But we all know that Moses did not enter Canaan. The Lord allowed him to see the land, but he did not get there.

Was Moses’ plan a failure? Or was it a choice made by God? Obviously, it was a decision made by God.  The burial site of Moses nor his remains are nowhere to be found. But we read of Moses and Elijah returning to earth to confer with Jesus.

Just like Moses, we too may be looking at a more fulfilled life, a life of tranquility, a life with financial security, a healthy and long life; but like Moses God may have a more important assignment for each of us.

Join the winning team… Be a Victor and not the victim. Pray the Jabez prayer…

The four key points in the Prayer of Jabez are:

(To the Lord) 

Oh. That You would bless me indeed,

And enlarge my territory,

That Your hand would be with me,

And that You would keep me from evil.

1: Seeking the Blessing from the Lord

2: Asking for the Lord’s providence to enlarge his Territory

3: Asking the Lord to keep His hands on him

4: Seeking to abide in the Lord and having God’s shield from the evil one.

While Jabez’s prayer may appear to be ‘self-serving’... Jabez was earnestly praying to have his territory enlarged and by this he meant having a mission field to give God the glory.  Jabez probably applied the principle of logics knowing if he received the blessing of God and had his territory enlarged, like every human-being when we get to this level the most important thing, we need is to have the hands of God over us to keep us from being arrogant. And Jabez addressed this knowing that having the ‘enlarged’ territory usually leads to vulnerability from the fiery arrows of the evil one.

Commentary: 

Just like the prayer of the sinner that said, Lord forgive me for I am a sinner…

2 Corinthians 2:14

14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

from Ephesians 3:20 NKJV  When we serve others by spreading the Good News, we are sprinkling the Fragrance of our Lord Jesus, and we also get the sweet smelling fragrance on ourselves… meaning that we are privileged to be a Vessel bearing the sweet smell of our Lord and Redeemer, and while we spread His Fragrance our Lord also blesses us with His Grace…

2 Corinthians 2:15   15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 4-10 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are, we will be. Lord be with our Visitors, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The global pandemic of the Coronavirus is still an ongoing battle. This invisible enemy that is widely assumed to be man-made or of other origin. This global epidemic demonstrated that we are still ignoring the direction that will give us answers.

Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

In the Bible there are many Parables and description of His Messages, example, the Vine and the Branches, The Lamb of God, and many others, but one of His most profound statement made publicly was when Jesus said in His Kingdom there are many Mansion, and: “IF” He go and prepare a place for “YOU” He will come and get you so that where He is You can also be… This is oftentimes taken as a ‘Security-Blanket’ and this is to be translated by the Context of “IF & “YOU”, why, because His statement was a conditional statement with a Caveat that IF You received Him and trusted in Faith, He would go and YOU would be a Beneficiary, on the flip side if you did not believe then He was not going on your behalf. 

 We need to know that we cannot go to God unless through Jesus, why” because He is the Gatekeeper, and He is our Advocate (for those that know him). So if we do not know Him or turned away like the tribe of Judah when they were taken captive, the worshipped Idols, anything, person or whatsoever other that Jesus is consider above Jesus Christ, will be considered as idols.

Buddha and Mohammed were spiritual leaders, but they did not have a Triumphant Resurrection, they are in man-made boxes. Just like the idols they had to be nailed down so they do not topple over. Worshippers of idol had to ‘carry’ their stone gods, Jesus carries us, He is our Hero.

The Bible teaches that when we receive Him (Jesus Christ) we are saved, and He will never … let us be lost.

 2 Timothy 1:7

Psalm 37:4 New International Version (NIV)

Take delight in the Lord,
    and he will give you the desires of
your heart.

What are the desires of your heart? It will be all good when you have delighted yourself in the Lord. Just think, the desire for that new car the new house, the dream job, will all be achievable when you have placed Him first.

It is for this reason why the scripture makes this clear… ‘Delight “In” The Lord. This makes him Preeminent above that shiny new car. We all had that ‘I can’t wait till morning when I get delivery of my new wheels.

Like a child at Christmas morning, this is an experience we all would like to relive. Yes, there is an exciting day ahead. So, remain joyful and do this in whatever state you are in.

Conclusion: Today we look at a world that is so separated by man’s greed and exploitation. Syria (Antioch) is known to have been the birthplace of the Church of Christianity in the city of Antioch.  As we see a divided world of Moslems, Jews, Christians and other beliefs of Buddhism and others, we have a world that has drifted apart from God with their own agenda to dominate their regions and to expand their religion on a global basis. Notice the word used is “ReligionReligion is not Salvation, only Jesus Christ represents Salvation as Jesus is the only one that Died for our Sins. No one else died for others, except Jesus who made the Sacrifice to Redeem us from Sin.

Watch for… The DAY OF THE LORD… This is the day when our Lord will return, but the prelude to the Day of the Lord will be the Rapture… there will be the Sound of the Trumpet, but not everyone will hear it, only those in Christ will hear it.

Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All… Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions and where You are we will be. Lord, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us as we pray in Your Holy

Consider it a great privilege to be chosen and be sent. So, today… Stop-Look-Listen the Lord is calling you.

Prayer:

Lord, today as we pause to hear Your calling, Lord reveal to each of us Your desire. We acknowledge that You did say to Your disciples… take nothing, and do not worry what you will say, as your Holy Spirit will empower each of us. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your Divine blessing on all, and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Each of us are valuable to the Lord, because we all are His treasured creation, we are made in His likeness. And He sees us from the inside-out. Therefore, to use the platform of evangelism to draw attention to oneself, this is a mockery.

ACTS 8: 4-24

Simon the Sorcerer…

4 Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went. 5 Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah there. 6 When the crowds heard Philip and saw the signs he performed, they all paid close attention to what he said. 7 For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed, or lame were healed. 8 So there was great joy in that city.

9 Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. 20 Peter answered: “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! 21 You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God. 22 Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart. 23 For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin.”

24 Then Simon answered, “Pray to the Lord for me so that nothing you have said may happen to me.”

Acts 19

11 God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured, and the evil spirits left them.

13 Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15 One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” 16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.

The foregoing is a classic example of falsely claiming the anointing.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus today as the world undergoes the confinement and the inconvenience by the global pandemic of the Coronavirus. Lord protect us and keep Your people safe. Lord, we thank You for providing the abundance for our country so that we can survive this stressful time by Your Divine Grace. Lord bless our Visitors and as we give You our Praises and to You be the Glory now and forevermore … Amen.

Is your quest to survive, or to prosper? Prosperity is better than poverty…

Prosperity should lead to contentment, but to some it leads to disaster. I once knew a man that was considered among the richest person in the State, and most certainly the City in which I resides.  This was a person that I met many years ago, he invited me to tour several buildings that he built on the ocean, in each of these buildings he had a number of unsold luxury condominiums. He offered me to take them all at a negotiated price, no money needed. But I declined, we remained friends. One day he asked me to visit him at his office, I got there on time, but he was running late. His Chief Financial Officer said I could wait in his office; as I waited, I walked around looking at the many photographs of his trophy properties, one in particular was a top-secret location that is a vital facility for national defense. I went back to the CFO and said what is that picture I saw? he said I wasn’t supposed to see it, but since I saw it, he said… it was a classified strategic site leased to our government.

All the foregoing was irrelevant in his life, as he was embroiled in lawsuits with his daughter and his son over monies. Here we see a man of massive wealth but had no peace.

Jesus said… John 14: 7 New International Version
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Matthew 6: 3 New Living Translation
But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.

So, what’s more important: Health versus wealth?  Wealth versus family disputes and lack of peace?

Luke 10:

The Parable of the Good Samaritan

25 One day an expert in the law stood up to test Him. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 “What is written in the Law?” Jesus replied. “How do you read it?”

27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.

28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus said. “Do this and you will live.”

29 But wanting to justify himself, he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

30 Jesus took up this question and said, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him, beat him, and went away, leaving him half dead.

31 Now by chance a priest was going down the same road, but when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32 So too, when a Levite came to spot and saw him, he passed by on the other side.

33 But when a Samaritan on a journey came upon him, he looked at him and had compassion. 

34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

35 The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Take care of him,’ he said, ‘and on my return I will repay you for any additional expense.’

36 Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

37 “The one who showed him mercy,” replied the expert in the law.

Then Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”


Prayer: Lord today we are listening and stand ready to go according to your Will. Lord let us hear and Lord reveal to us Your Will for each of us. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all your providence as we go in faith knowing that all things work for the Good to those who loves You. You may not be called to be a pastor, but to be a teacher, the veterinarian is not a shepherd, the shepherd is to feed and tend the flock, the Veterinarian is to heal the flock.

In an operating room there are the surgeon, anesthesiologist, RN circulating nurse and a surgical tech. In the cockpit of a commercial aircraft, there are: Captain, First officer, 2nd Officer, 3rd Officer, Flight Engineer, Airborne Sensor Operator, (Tactical coordinator) Navigator (Nor replaced by GPS) Radio Operator (Now replaced by modern equipment and handled by 1st of 2nd officer)

Why do we have so many specialized operators? Because our gifts are connected to our call.

1 Corinthians 12 New International Version (NIV)

12 Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.

15 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19 If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, but one body.

21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24 while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28 And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? 31 Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.

And yet I will show you the most excellent way.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come… You have not set any standards that imposes how eloquent we must be to come to You.  Lord today we thank You for this privilege and we praise You and we acknowledge that it is by Your Grace we are saved and not of anything we do.

I may not be the best communicator, do not focus on my writing or my style, it is not about What I do as it is about HIM and not me.

Since 2012 this website has been published daily, and it is time to re-publish our Statement of Faith…


STATEMENT OF FAITH

Our Mission:

  1. To Bring the Good News of the Gospel to a worldwide community
  2. To Praise our Lord
  3. To provide proof of Jesus as our Redeemer and our Eternal Sovereign God
  4. To lead sinners to our Lord by telling them that Jesus loves them and is waiting to give His Forgiveness
  5. To bring comfort to all through the Covenant of our Lord
  6. To be a Refuge to many pointing them to a place of Splendor
  7. To bring the Precepts of our Lord as a guide to Christian living
  8. To build a community of believers with a focus to Fellowship in Jesus Christ.

The Lay-Ministry of www.goodnewsforever.org is founded on the Credo of belief in Jesus The CHRIST, the Holy Anointed Son of God. Because no one comes to the Father unless through Jesus His Son, for this reason Good-News Central is an Internet based ministry to spread THE WORD.  

The Good News is that Jesus who was written about in Isaiah 53, written 700+ years before Jesus was born in the year 0000, and Jesus is the Son of God our Creator and HE is God in One of the Holy Trinity.

We believe that the Bible is inspired by God, and No one has ever seen God… This is why our Father and Creator sent His Son Jesus who is our Redeemer and Sovereign Eternal God in One of HIS Holy Trinity…The Word Became Flesh. John 1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 

We believe in the Ministry of our Lord Jesus, who lived and walked this earth for 33 years

We believe Jesus came and HE was predestined to die for our sins, was crucified and;

We believe in His Divine Resurrection, as HE rose Triumphantly, three days after, and after spending time with His Disciples for 40 days, ascended to Heaven.

We believe in His Divine Ascension Jesus spoke of His Ascension into Heaven…  John 16 Verse 28: “I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”

We believe in His return, John 16. Verse 16…Jesus went on to say, “In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”

We believe in His Redemption, and by His Gift of His Redemption, Romans 8: 14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

We believe in The Holy Spirit and by His Word that He would send us His Holy Spirit, Verse 15…  The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba Father.” 

We believe we are continuing HIS mission, just like when Peter who denied Christ at his trial by muttering, ‘I do not know him’ to save himself, but the Lord foretold that Peter would deny Him three times before the rooster crowed, Our Lord who is Gracious still chose men like Peter, chosen as a vessel and filled with the Holy Spirit that spoke with authority on the day of Pentecost, that over 3,000 came to Jesus.

We believe that one can be saved by the Grace of God by accepting Jesus and have a personal relationship with Jesus; and like Saul who was a persecutor of the followers of Christ, that guarded the clothes of those that stoned Stephen and killed him, but the shining face of Stephen when he saw the our Lord welcoming him home, something moved Saul, and Saul was struck down and commanded by Jesus who made him to be a vessel, and Saul that became Paul is a shining example of our Lord’s Graciousness… (Not Paul’s accomplishment, as we give credit to our Lord and not to Paul, as he was just a vessel for our Lord), therefore, this ministry is not a credit to the founder but to Jesus Christ… is the Glory.

Our mission and service are provided because of the Love of Jesus that we are saved by His Grace… so we are here to take the message into the digital age with a difference.  This is a ministry that will never ask for money, and in faith we seek our daily needs by HIS Faithfulness… coming from our Lord and not by solicitations. We are inspired by Paul’s faith in Christ… 

In Reading from 2 Corinthians 2: 11 Paul’s statement and his modesty of being an unlearned speaker but Paul had the Holy Spirit that gave him the Knowledge from our Lord Jesus that chose him to be a Vessel.

This lay ministry is dedicated to spread the ‘Good News’ and the sponsor/founder is in faith making the  similar statement of Faith as Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians Verse 6, he was an untrained speaker, but Paul also said he had the knowledge.

In Verse 12 is the Credo of this lay-ministry and our intention is to bring the Good-News according to the Scriptures, and not like a ‘used-car salesman’. This is one thing I admire in Paul that said in Verse 7 Was it a sin for me to lower myself in order to elevate you by preaching the gospel of God to you free of charge?

    We believe at Good-News Forever, we are not doing ‘Good Works’ but ‘God’s Work…

In 2 Corinthian 11: 1 I hope you will put up with me in a little foolishness. Yes, please put up with me! 2 I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. 3 But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 4 For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. 5 I do not think I am in the least inferior to those “super-apostles.” 6 I may indeed be untrained as a speaker, but I do have knowledge. We have made this perfectly clear to you in every way. 7 Was it a sin for me to lower myself in order to elevate you by preaching the gospel of God to you free of charge? 8 I robbed other churches by receiving support from them so as to serve you. 9 And when I was with you and needed something, I was not a burden to anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied what I needed. I have kept myself from being a burden to you in anyway, and will continue to do so. 10 As surely as the truth of Christ is in me, nobody in the regions of Achaia will stop this boasting of mine. 11 Why? Because I do not love you? God knows I do!

 12 And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. 13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

Nothing has changed since Exodus (about 3,470 Years ago) to the miracle on the Hudson that occurred January 15, 2009.

The parting of the Red-Sea was a monumental event because God said to Moses…

Exodus 14:14-16 (NIV)

14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

That was done 1,400+ years before Christ.

This is evidence that God has not changed, and miracles do happen…

On January 15, 2009, a potential disaster turned into a heroic display of skill and composure when Captain Chesley Burnett Sullenberger III safely landed the plane he was piloting on New York City’s Hudson River after a bird strike caused its engines to fail. David Paterson, governor of New York at the time, dubbed the incident the “miracle on the Hudson.” Sullenberger, a former fighter pilot with decades of flying experience, received a slew of honors for his actions,

About a minute after taking off from New York’s La Guardia Airport on January 15, 2009, US Airways Flight 1549 collided with one of the aviation industry’s most threatening foes: a flock of geese. Crippled by the bird strike, both engines lost power and went quiet, forcing Captain Sullenberger to make an emergency landing. When air traffic controllers instructed the seasoned pilot to head for nearby Teterboro Airport, he calmly informed them that he was “unable” to reach a runway. “We’re gonna be in the Hudson,” he said simply, and then told the 150 terrified passengers and five crew members on board to brace for impact.

Ninety seconds later, Sullenberger glided the Airbus 320 over the George Washington Bridge and onto the chilly surface of the Hudson River, where it splashed down midway between Manhattan and New Jersey. As flight attendants ushered passengers into life jackets, through emergency exits and onto the waterlogged wings of the bobbing jet, a flotilla of commuter ferries, sightseeing boats and rescue vessels hastened to the scene. One survivor suffered two broken legs and others were treated for minor injuries or hypothermia, but no fatalities occurred. After walking up and down the aisle twice to ensure a complete evacuation, Sullenberger was the last to leave the sinking plane.

As the invisible enemy Coronavirus - Covid-19 continues to cause a lockdown, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Let us hope that it is the exit and not an oncoming train.

The re-opening of business will be the exit to this tunnel.  Every politician had their say, and the critics of saying the Federal government has not done enough, the question is… then why don’t you do something about it and do more?

We pray for those who are experiencing difficulties, we urge all to seek the Lord and make your request known as He is faithful, and He knows our needs.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Lord and Savor we come. Lord Jesus thank You for hearing our prayers and thank You for Your Divine Providence and mercies to us, our Visitors and to all who call upon Your Name. Lord we thank you and give You Preeminence in our lives.

Do you believe the Flood and Noah and the ARK?

Luke 17:27

They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 

Hebrews 11:7

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Thoughts for today…  There’s no ‘secret-sins’ beware all things hidden will be revealed… So, we must apply caution, and let the Grace of our Lord lead us by his Holy Spirit. “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23

 

Narrow is the way to His Kingdom, but broad is the way to destruction.  Destruction here is defined as condemnation… Matthew 7:13

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at. 

As Solomon said, all is vanity… Let’s say you just got your new car and at the supermarket lot, you find the first big ‘ding’ how do we react? With some remorse of not finding that ‘safe-zone’ to park your new car.  When it comes to cars, we are protective, and when it comes to guarding our actions we are less apprehensive and pretty much go with the flow.  The latter is where we are to place our emphasis, as our walk with our Lord is more important that a box with four wheels. Our walk with our Lord is forever as we stay the course with decorum knowing our Lord is near with us as we journey through the shadow of death and we fear nothing as He is present.

A Psalm of David.

The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.

He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.

Friends… today we have His Assurance of what is stated above, in Faith we can say that our Redeemer Lives!

 

Principle:  Are we ready to meet the most important person face to face?  He is Ready to greet you!

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Jesus our Lord and Savior, The Sovereign Eternal God will return. This is not our opinion it is His Word…

But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

 

Our Lord once said, we are no longer servants, but we are His friends, why? Because He has told us everything that we need to receive His Kingdom…

John 15:15

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

Conclusion:

The invitation of our Lord is not like what we call an engraved gold printed piece of paper, the Invitation is Sanctified by the Blood of Jesus. When we accept His Gift we are inducted into an exclusive chosen community with Jesus as the Head of our lives that is now blessed by His Word… For I came that you may have life and have it more abundantly’   This defines as…our lives here and in the world to come!

His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, in Jesus we come, Lord as we acknowledge that ‘naked we came and naked we shall go’ and nothing that we possess will be taken but the greatest of all treasures will be taken into Your kingdom… Your Grace and Redemption Sealed by Your Atoning Blood. Lord we thank You for coming and thank You for redeeming us as it is through Your Grace that we are saved and not of anything we do. Lord bless us all as we thank You for this privilege of bringing Your Good news to many. Lord thank You for our Visitors and bless each one and grant us all Your Favors as we shall one day Lord see You as You are. No, we are no the expert to tell you about the remaining part of what the world faces. But, Jesus provided, so the Best is yet to come…

First…                    Today is where you are, yesterday is gone and tomorrow will be there for us, because Jesus said so.

Secondly…          We can’t do anything to change the event of what will take place tomorrow, maybe how we will face it., but not the coming storm, or the pleasant Spring morning.

All the above are not just insured, but they are ‘Assured’ by the Lord as an endowment to each of us.

for we know… “Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Our Lord’s Grace and His Kindness and Graciousness are His gifts to those that serve and place Him first.

Live by the principle of… Spiritual maturity is developed by holding unto a FAITH that is FIRMLY ANCHORED IN CHRIST; and knowing that we are never on our own because Jesus is our High Priest.

Hebrews 4: 12 (NIV)

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Jesus is our Intercessor and our Mediator as our High Priest, that Intercedes to the Father, as HE Said...” No one comes to the Father unless Through HIM”

PRAYER: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity we come thanking you and giving You our Praises for in You we have Victory. Lord we bring You our burdens which are many for our Brothers and Sisters, our Government leaders, our Pastors and those in foreign land that are oppressed and persecuted Lord. You have promised Your Divine protection as their battle will be won because You will never leave us nor forsake us. Lord let Your servants be equipped as in faith they proceed knowing that You are the Author and Finisher of their Faith. Lord bless our Visitors and grant them Your Favors. The Cross offends many, to us it is the ‘Crossroads’ to a place of Splendor paved with Gold…

 Crucifixion was considered one of the most brutal and shameful modes of death. Yet Jesus was crucified on a cross.

Isaiah, the prince of prophets wrote about the Lamb of God…

Isaiah 53:7

He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.

This was written around 1,318 years ago and 1,285 years before Christ came as a man born of a Virgin…

Sometimes one should stop to think of the grand-design of the universe, and the wonders of the billions of galaxies, all known by individual names. And to think that 1,285 years before the event of Jesus’ birth Isaiah wrote about the Crucifixion of Jesus.

Isaiah 53:8-10 New International Version (NIV)

By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away.
    Yet who of his generation protested?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
    for the transgression of my people he was punished.[b]
He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
    and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
    nor was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
    and though the Lord makes[c] his life an offering for sin,

While the Cross is the symbol of Christianity, it is to Christian the “Crossroads” to the Lord’s Kingdom.

There’s only ‘One-Way’ to God’s Kingdom… and we cannot get there on our own.

Our readers will ask why do we focus so much on the ‘Future’… because, if this world was all we had to look forward to; what is the end result?  Spending our prime years, living to build a ‘Nest-egg’ growing old and then what?

No matter who you are, you may have the newest cars, living in the biggest mansion, a beach house, a new Gulfstream jet and an income of a billion dollars incoming, let’s see how long this will last…

Philanthropy is a way of gaining a good feel in life, it gives the satisfaction that we are contributing to humanity, but even this will not save you. It is not by good works that we can secure a future in the ‘Renewed-Eden’.

Therefore, our emphasis on the future is more than life itself, it is an abundant life endowed by Jesus our Redeemer.

We wrote about the rich man that stated in his will that all his money was to be buried with him, his attorney showed up at the funeral and said to the accountant…how much will be placed in the hole? The accounts said a million dollars, the lawyer wrote a check for a million and said, take this and let me have the cash.

What a wonderful future there is, knowing that the Best is yet to come…

Prayer:  Heavenly Father thank You for preparing a place that was made possible by Jesus our Redeemer who Paid It All on the Cross.  Lord Jesus today as we share the Good News of Your Salvation, we are delighted to know that it is by Your Grace that we are saved… Lord be with our Visitors and bless each one as we go in Faith trusting and obeying Your Precepts.  To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Think on this today:

Because Jesus said, He came that we may have an abundant life and have it 'more' abundantly... why did Jesus said 'more' in describing 'Abundant'? Because He has prepared a way for each of us to have a 'Double-Portion' and His double-portion is an eternal life in Him.

Be a…  A Conqueror… One who conquers; one who gains a victory; Victory in Christ…

Many ‘Conquerors’ were part of world’s history.

To name a few, they were:

  • Genghis Khan
  • Alexander the Great
  • Cyrus the Great (Cyrus rescued the Jews from Babylon)

But all of the above were just mere men, their greatness were just for a time, and their time expired…

Jesus never professed to be ‘Jesus-The Great’, Yet, Jesus did declare that He was there at the beginning of creation with the Father.

John 8:58

Boldness with Humbleness, these are the characteristics of being His Ambassador.  We can Boldly come to our Lord, and we can Boldly claim Victory in Him.

 

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Invite Jesus to be with you today, walk with Him and His Holy Spirit will be with You.

Many prayers end with an abrupt ending… ‘In Jesus name we pray’; this is mention as if Jesus was not in the midst of the prayer to the Father.

Coming into the presence of the Father without Jesus is like breaking protocol… why? Jesus said no one come to the Father unless through Him.

  • There are no One on One Prayers to the Father… why? Because Jesus said; “No one comes to the Father unless through me”
  • Just like when Stephen was being stoned by the crowd, he looked up and prayed… Jesus receive my Spirit, then he saw Jesus standing at the right-hand of the Father.
  • In a meeting with your best friend Bob or Jane and John who arranged the meeting do you end the meeting by saying goodbye Bob or Jane and in John name I thank him, wouldn’t you be saying goodbye Bob or Jane and to you John I thank you for arranging the meeting. Instead of Bye Bob and in John name I thank him?

So, when we end our prayers to the Father and abruptly say…” In Jesus name we pray” are we making an inference to Jesus beings absent? This is out of protocol as Jesus was present and you had to be speaking to Him as well as the Father, therefore we must say… To You Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy Name. not the sudden abrupt ending…’In Jesus Name we pray’

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus we thank You for calling us and remembering us as we are wayward and are in need of Your Divine guidance. We come today, and we seek to be in truth and not be superficial without Your Holy Spirit in our lives. Space… ‘The final Frontier’. Frontier is defined as: The extreme limit beyond which lies wilderness.

Really/ is it wilderness out there? It is time humans to come to reality that our finite mind cannot comprehend the infinite dept of God’s creation.  We speak with such ‘Authority’ yet we our satellites are in orbit just 22,000 miles above earth. The Bible describes God’s Kingdom in Revelation 21 and what we read described by John as told to him by Jesus, is like us telling a toddler how the atoms produce energy.

So, as we go in faith, our attitude should be like the toddler ‘Trusting’ in the Lord, as the story goes, man said to God I can improve on the specie making it grow faster, more resistant to pest and a bigger harvest, this is the GMO output, But God said, do not use any of what I created, get your own dirt, water, air and seeds.  Really? We then realized that we don’t have any of these on our own, it all came from Him.

Back to reality… we were created by God, born to reproduce and born to worship a living God.

His Faithfulness:

Romans 8: 28-35

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. The key factor is to live by his precepts of Matthew 6:33

live reverently and not ritually to please our lord

Because we are created in His likeness, so we will never Die

Place value on the treasures in heaven

To place Him first

My job is to present Christ and lift Him up before all

What matters to God

We serve others in our vocation that our Lord gave us

Our life's experience are lessons to be used to lead Others to Christ.

His Faithfulness:

God gave us his assignments, but we were given specific work so that we would come to him for His grace and Blessings

He could have given us fruit without having to plant it so why did He needs us to plough, plant and cultivate, He gave us these functions so that we would seek his guidance

Our work regardless of what we do, does it help others?

Personally, I am privileged to be a vessel for my Lord, and we all must seek to be an ambassador for HIM. I need my Lord's blessings to be focused to be His vessel for His Glory.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Lord we place You on High, and we stand at the empty Cross knowing that You ascended to the Throne of Righteousness, and we are privileged to come as You intercedes for us. Lord, we pray for our Nation and we ask that Your will be done and bring us to You so that You may heal our land, we pray for rain to the farms that our nation will still have a salvageable crop. Everyone needs a comforter, even the billionaires as their money may be a form of comfort, but like the king or the queen, worry is the one that wears the crown.  As said… Ecclesiastes 3:1

Jesus Paid-It-All...

Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of His Holy Trinity loves us so much that He did this for us.  As we said regardless of whom you are, every knee shall bow to Him, He did not come to enslave us, He came that we may have life and have it more abundantly.

Jesus did not tell Thomas he was mistaken; instead Jesus accepted these titles. Other people in Scripture, notably Paul and Barnabas, refused to accept worship as gods (Acts 14).

*       "Therefore, God exalted him to the highest place and gave

Paul, the writer of Philippians, is saying about Jesus what Isaiah 45:23 says about the LORD, and then Paul concludes

that Jesus is LORD, that is, the same LORD God of the Old Testament.

Topic:  Seek the Lord and receive His Goodness, God desires goodness for us all...

Focus:  While seeking the Lord, seek Him for His mercies, His Love and His Grace, Seek Him to ‘Thank Him’ and to Praise Him for His Majesty, His Divine Gift of Life here and to come as He gave His life for you so that You may have eternal life through Him. Praise our Lord Jesus as we say ‘Our Redeemer Lives’ and we shall see Him on that day.

Commentary: Seek the Lord as He said “you are no longer servants, but friends” …

 John 15:15

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Note: The Text refers to ‘The World’ but in context… God was referring to the ‘people’ of the World, as He said, ‘Whosoever believes in Him shall not perish’.

Remember the most profound statement ever said on earth was said by Jesus, when He said…” I am not of this world”

Good News…

A Patient & Merciful God… God through His Son Jesus came that we could be saved from the consequences of our sins

2016 years ago, yes, we are in 2020 and on that first day of our calendar year Christ was born in Bethlehem fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 53 written 700+ years before the first day of 2016.

Principle: The Good News is that God has a plan inspite of our shortcoming…

He came so that we may have life and have it more abundantly… A statement made by Jesus himself; John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context | Full Chapter |

Conclusion

Come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Pray... Lord Jesus I come in Faith accepting Your gift of Salvation and chose to be alive in You by your Grace my Lord. Lord Jesus receive me as I repent of my sin and accept your great Salvation by your Blood of Atonement, and I seek Your divine guidance in my life, to you Lord be the Glory... Amen. 

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we come to praise You and proclaim You as our Eternal-Sovereign God. Thank You Lord Jesus for this day and Lord because of You it is a Good Day as we Pray for our brothers and sisters and all, so they too will have a Good-Day. Lord as we know that this Day is made by You and all things are made new in You, let us be reminded that this Good time will continue in spite of the ‘end’-times that we face. Lord let us use this day to pray for our Visitors and those who are seeking You to be blessed with Your Peace. We give You preeminence in our lives knowing that we shall see You as You are Jesus Messiah… To You be the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Text:  John 19: 28 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. 30When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Commentary: Today is Good Friday…  How could we call this day Good?  A day that our Lord Jesus was arrested, flogged, Mocked and crown with a ‘crown’ of thorn, and they slapped our Lord…

John 18:6 New International Version (NIV)

When Jesus said, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground.

( When they came to arrest Jesus, He asked whom do they seek, as said… ” I am He” the contingent of soldiers fell to the ground.

Jesus restrained His power and endured the torture for our sake.   Remember that over 7 centuries before Jesus was born of a Virgin, the prophet Isaiah foretold about the Crucifixion of Jesus in Isaiah 53…. Even before Isaiah God told Moses and his people to slaughter a Lamb but not to break any of the bones, and use the Blood to mark their doorposts to be protected from the angel of death, this being the Passover, and Jesus is the Lamb of God, and the scripture said none of His bone would be broken….Our Lord made that ultimate Sacrifice for our sins…. Not only did His Blood wash our sins away, He made us Joint-Heir to His Kingdom.

The Crucifixion was a day that has never been seen again when the Sun went dark at noon for three hours.

There are three important events in the history of the world. One; is the Birth of Jesus born of a Virgin, Secondly; The Crucifixion and Thirdly; the Resurrection of Jesus. Yet there is one more event to come, and this is the Return of the Lord.

Conclusion:  Resurrection Morning is a day like no other day in the History of mankind.  We need to stop and think on this as no one has ever returned from the dead., except Jesus.  Jesus said “I am not of this world” His Kingdom is from another place John 19: Verse 38.  When we consider the Miracle of Jesus’ Resurrection, we need to measure what he also said, “In Him we shall also have Life and Life abundantly… and By His Blood we are cleansed and by his Grace we are Saved.  Praise God that Jesus our Redeemer lives, and Jesus our Incarnate God will be there to greet us, just as He did in welcoming Stephen into His Kingdom. For those that know our Lord and accepted Jesus as our Redeemer; just as when Stephen was stoned to death and transitioned into the presence of Jesus so are those in Christ. Woodlawn # 1, 2, 3 5 Etc are also with many empty graves for those in Christ, as the Scriptures said, to be absent from the body and be Present with our Lord…. Praise our Lord Jesus for He is Worthy, He is Supreme, and He is Eternal, and He Loves you…

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Risen Lord we come.  Lord we affirm today that our Redeemer lives and You Lord Jesus is on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord as you intercedes for us we come and Praise you as we look forward to Resurrection Day a day that You our Lord Rose Triumphantly. Lord we thank You for Your Redemption and by your Grace we can look tot hat day when we shall see You as You are.  Lord bless our Visitors as we seek your Divine Blessings and Your Favors to us all. We pray in your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

                Never give up – Keep praying for your loved ones and those you want to know Christ.

Focus:  Once thing for sure, the Lord answers prayers, and He never forgets, He is Omniscient, He is Omnipotent, and our Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.  

Commentary: 

The global state of commerce being partially shut is intended to hurt the population causing them to be stressed and the ones that invented this Virus will enter the scene with a vaccine that is also the method of imprinting the mark of the beast???

Is the Prophecy being fulfilled? 

Revelation 13:17, NIV: "so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark of the beast”, ...  Revelation makes it clear that true believers will reject this mark (Revelation ... on the forehead, everyone will be required to display it in order to purchase ... The first beast dominates the final form of the Roman Empire and sets himself up ... 

We do not believe in conspiracy theory, but as said, history has a way of repeating itself.

The intent of mankind to wield their ‘Power’ this is what they need to know… The ultimate power is from God, and no weapon formed against His people will prosper.  

The easiest way for those attempting to dominate is for them to lose their monetary wealth and when their resources are drained then become like a wilted plant, that is only good to be thrown into the trash heap.

 As we reflect on the wonderful Grace of God, He sent His Son Jesus.

When we look as the top richest individuals, is God using them? Yet, God used Shepherds to bring His Good News, and many ‘unknown’ as angels.

Do not neglect to entertain strangers, because somewhere or sometime an angel of our Lord will be sent to you…

The NKJV Bible mention the presence of Angels 190 times. One of the most profound visit of an angel was… Matthew 1:20

But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

The Divine Super-Natural powers of our God far exceeds our thinking abilities… so today we stand in awe of the great things our Lord has done for us, His Divine Redemption through his Crucifixion and His Triumphant Resurrection.  Knowing this we are more awe-struck that Jesus who is God Incarnate would do this for us, yes, he did!  Because we are His greatest treasures, when He created us in His Likeness, He said it was Good… so why did He had to die? Because mankind fell from His Grace, He came to redeem us we are descendant of Adam whom He created, and by the sin of Adam we are all sinners. 

EVENING:

What a privilege our Lord has given us… Through His Death and Resurrection, we have His Divine Redemption. You may say…why do I need to be redeemed? I am going to die someday and what do I know or care?  Guess what? You will never die, because you are carefully and wonderfully made in the Likeness of God, and as such we will never die. The Word of God said… It is appointed unto to man to die once and after that the judgment; here we see a very contradictory statement, how can you be around for the judgment if you died?  Because we really never die, and even after the judgment we will live forever.  In Christ we will have a life of Splendor, without Christ we are separated from God forever in a place of desolation.  

Modern man will say… how can a loving God put him in a place of perpetual desolation (Hell) Yes, He will as His ‘Fair-Warning’ will end on the Day of the Lord. And the Bible also tells us that …  Peter 3:10

[The Day of the Lord] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 

Our Lord is a Loving God, but He is also a God of a consuming fire.  Hebrews 12:29

For our God is a consuming fire.

2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:7-9

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your assurance that in You Lord we have peace and in You we have Victory. Lord we thank You for interceding for us to the Father as no one comes to the Father unless through Your Lord. Lord today we thank You for the privilege of serving You and bringing Your Good News to may for Your Glory. Lord bless our many Visitors and grant Your Favors upon us all as we go in faith. Lying to the Holy Spirit

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”

Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.

The Truth will always prevail – A Flower a Day, a short story of telling the truth…

Once upon a time there were two friends who lived in a palace with their families, who worked in service of the King. One of these boys knew a girl he liked so much that he wanted to give her a present.

One day, he was walking with his friend in the main palace hall, and he saw a big vase filled with the loveliest flowers you could imagine. He decided to take one to give to the girl, thinking that no one would see him do so. He did the same thing the next day, and the next, and the next... until, one day, the King noticed how few flowers were left in the vase. He was so angry that he called everyone in the palace to assemble.

When they were all before the King, the boy thought he should say it had been him who took the flowers. However, his friend told him to be quiet, because the King would be terribly angry with him. The boy was paralyzed with fear, but when the King came near, he decided to confess.

As soon as the boy said that he had done it, the King went red with anger, but on hearing what the boy had done with the flowers, a smile appeared on the King's face, and he said,

"I couldn't have thought of a better use for my flowers."

And, from that day, the boy and the King became great friends. They went to the vase and took two of those wonderful flowers, one for the girl, and the other for the Queen.

God will not be mocked… Come clean, but our ‘clean’ is still a dirty rag…so coming to the Lord He will set you free as His Blood of Redemption purifies the heart. And the Bible said…

Topic:    God’s Plan = TRUTH – Man’s Plan = Hidden Agenda


Focus:   The science of marketing used by media giants today is significantly dependent on ‘Tracking’ your search and shopping habits. The new Chip in your Credit Card; EMV -- which stands for Europay, MasterCard and Visa are a dynamic digital security method that is not constant, therefore to it is more difficult to replicate the card by a fraudster.

While the EMV Chip may be better than the data-strip cards, they may be more vulnerable to fraud as the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) can be accessed while your Card is in your pocket.

The question is… Is EMV Chip a prelude to receive a mark on the hand or on the foreheads?

Revelation 13:15-17 (NKJV)

15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or[a] the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Not to be fearmongering, but the ‘hidden-agenda’ of man may be in fact the agenda of the evil one.  The event of Eve being tempted by the ‘Serpent’ is being applied on a grander scale.

Truly the Word of God will prevail and what was given to John by the Lord to write in His Revelation, it appears that all of what Revelation 13: 17 said… and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or[a] the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Someone wrote that she declined her credit card with a chip, she later discovered that she could not access her bank account.  The hidden agenda is starting to be revealed.

We may say let’s hope this isn’t so… but we may ask’ are we there yet?  At this point the only sure thing is…’The King is Coming’

Revelation 11:15

Seventh Trumpet: The Kingdom Proclaimed] Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” 

Fear not… These are the Words of the Lord:

Therefore, do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed and hidden that will not be known.

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

To our Lord there is nothing Spooky and unsettling… His divine Grace was displayed here on earth at Calvary… There is nothing spooky but all Divine… The Curtain separating the Inner Sanctum of the Temple was torn when Christ said…” It is Finished” the Sun went dark for three hours, a darkness that was without shadows.  He Rose from the Dead on the Third Day, He Ascended into heaven by Levitation. 

So, our Prayers and Brain waves are heard by our Lord even a billion all at once but individually for each of us.

Use this Divine Power that our Almighty God gave us, and not only did He give us this power He gave us an even higher power to ‘elevate’ us to Him through His Son Jesus whom He made the Sole Mediator between us and God.

Knowing Him – Fellowship in Oneness:

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we Praise You for Your Majestic power knowing that You are the Incarnate God of Your Holy Spirit. Lord we are in awe of the vastness of the universe that you have made and given mankind domination over Your Creation. Lord we had such privilege that was squandered in the garden of Eden, but Lord Your Un-Conditional love for us You Mercies we have and Your Redemption made available to us all, we thank You for your Grace and we accept Your Gift of Salvation in You Lord. Lord thank You for remembering us just as You remembered Noah and replenished the earth and we today are here because of Your Grace. Lord bless our Visitors and grant as Your Peace and Favors Lord. We pray in your Holy Name Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Topic:   Begin with yourself. Make changes from within…

Focus: Change from within begins with Love, Forgiveness, caring for others and Seeking God’s Peace…

We are addressing the apostasy and drifting away from the Lord… Statistics is showing the decline of Christianity and the growth of other religious groups.  Is this a fact? Or is it just a posturing by the mainstream media?  In the business world the fraudsters use the Pump & Dump method of getting followers that result in the sale of their stocks.

The principle of the ‘Pump & Dump’ process is built on the ‘sheep-syndrome’ which is defined as… Sheep Syndrome refers to the oblivious mindset of a people within society who unawares support a movement or ideology which is potentially dangerous to the well-being and safety of their community.

Hitler ran a great Pump & Dump operation, and many cults apply this principle.  Many religious groups including Islam claiming to be the fastest growing, but this is a myth. 

The fastest growing in China… The Telegraph News: China on course to become 'world's most Christian nation' within 15 years. The number of Christians in Communist China is growing so steadily that it by 2030 it could have more churchgoers than America.

Update to the above article, the sentiment of the Chinese Communist today is now very much against Christianity due to the current leadership.

Where is your ‘Comfort-zone’? It’s all ‘Paid-for’ by Jesus our Redeemer who suffered so that we could have His Peace & comfort.

God blesses those who takes risks for Him, but the risk is insured by faith

Text:  James 5:7 [Be Patient and Persevering] Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.

Matthew 5: 43-45 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45. That you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

Conclusion:

The Lord’s blessing to let it rain on the just and the unjust is because He is not partial, and He made no preference, but one preference to all in Unity, as we are all sinners, and by his Grace we are Redeemed. So even the un-redeemed are beneficiary of His showers of Blessings, because they too shall come to know him and be also redeemed.

 But His great commission to us to bring the Gospels to all and spread the Good News to the ends of Earth is to be our mission for His Glory.

Principle: Not only do we have his assurance; it is eternal as we lay up treasures in heaven as his faithfulness abounds. Ephesians 2: 8-9 New International Version (NIV)

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

EVENING: Never a Busy signal… Calling on the Lord, He is Omniscience, Omnipotent and Eternal.

Prayer: Lord Jesus we come knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and no one comes to the Father unless through You. Lord today as we seek your Divine guidance and thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your Providence and above all Your Redemption on us all.  Lord bless this day as we go with the Peace from you knowing that You our Redeemer Lives and we can boldly come to You. Lord in Faith we go with your Assurance. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Many do have some reservation about todays’ ‘Prosperity doctrine’ but we must recognize that each of us are given different gifts. Therefore…

We must never touch the anointed by declaring that they are preaching prosperity doctrine…

Certain preachers may focus on wealth and prosperity, but this must now be overshadowed by being good stewards.  As declared by Andrew Carnegie, who felt that his vast fortune was a divine intervention given him that he could say…

The Gospel of Wealth was an idea made popular by industrialist Andrew Carnegie in 1889. In an article he wrote titled “Wealth”, Carnegie described his belief that it was the moral responsibility of the rich (especially the self-made rich) to tackle wealth inequality by giving their surplus wealth to those who were less fortunate. Carnegie argued that the rich should give to any number of public institutions, including libraries, museums, and concert halls.

So, let us know that God is a God of Abundance,

2 Corinthians 1:5

For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

So, let’s set aside the political divide of the county, and for those that continue to deny Christ and to oppose the agenda of the Lord, let them be aware…

To Whom Much is Given, Much Will Be Required. To whom much is given, much will be required (Luke 12:48).

Here is the situation that we face today, as the coronavirus continues to plague the countries on a global scale there's only one nation that is recognizing that this is a journey to the promised land.  Just see how the Lord provided for the Israelites during their journey to Canaan they were provided with everything that they need. As we read today of 701,000 job losses we must be reminded that we have a leader that he was selected to  provide the Lords Providence that God provided to him so that the 701,000 job loss will not be truly a loss they are in fact on paid furloughs and they are paid for the next months that will take them through to the commencement of the recovery. At this point we are providing this as a ‘good report’ filled with faith. So, the vision of what is coming… we will be entering the recovery period.

If we do not have faith we cannot conquer because so that were sent to survey the promised land came back with a very gloomy report, it was Joshua and Caleb who came back with hope and a vision in faith that the land is already given and will be conquered. Unless we do the same, we will be like those lacking faith living in fear and did not know the faithfulness of God

As we face the next coming days let us be Joshua and Caleb let us move to victory today looking to the days of abundance that our Lord has endowed for those in faith in Him.

Play for our president,  vice president and all those engaged in serving this country and Declaring by the Holy Spirit, pray that they will be sustained and that the fiery darts of the evil ones will be deflected In The name of Jesus.

Genesis 45: 4-11

God sent Joseph ahead to save His people…

Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Come close to me.” When they had done so, he said, “I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt! And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you. For two years now there has been famine in the land, and for the next five years there will be no plowing and reaping. But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

“So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt. Now hurry back to my father and say to him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says: God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me; don’t delay. 10 You shall live in the region of Goshen and be near me—you, your children and grandchildren, your flocks and herds, and all you have. 11 I will provide for you there, because five years of famine are still to come. Otherwise you and your household and all who belong to you will become destitute.’

Prayer:

Today as we reflect on the leadership enabled by You Lord to Moses, You empowered him and allowed his leadership to bring Your people to the Promised-Land. Lord as Joseph told his brothers, God sent me ahead of you. But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. Today, we thank You Lord for providing the storehouse of wealth to our nation, so that there will be sufficient resources to provide to many as the nation undergo a lockdown. Yet Your Mercies abound, and Your Providence prevail in our lives. Thank You Lord, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…Amen.

Two Kinds of Wisdom

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

Be Still and Know that He is God…

“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.  This is what the ancients were commended for...And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.”  Hebrews 11:1-2, 6

Father bring to my mind the ways I have doubted you and forgive me for the times I have questioned your character and goodness. Forgive me for twisting your Word to mean something other than what you intended, and for not believing your promises.  Help me reject the crafty whispers of doubt the enemy brings to my mind and listen only to the voice of my Good Shepherd.

His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 2: But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Use the power you have today, are you aware of it? Find it and use it for His Glory

The Power of God’s Love through Jesus our Redeemer, He has granted His Holy Spirit that empowers us, as we with all the Lord’s people. Because all those He has called through Christ we are given the Power from Him and the Wisdom from the Lord.

Prayer: 

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus today as we go in faith, we thank You for Your Providence and Your guidance.  Lord as we place all in Your hands, we seek Your Divine blessings on our Visitors and Praise You for Your Graciousness.  To You Lord Jesus be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Moses said “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent”, So, the Lord empowered him...

Yesterday we spoke of ‘fear of public-speaking’. Speaking to a king may even be more fearsome… Moses had no idea that God had chosen him to lead His people out of bondage.  We too are more or less like Moses, why? Maybe the Lord has chosen you to be a part of what He would like to accomplish, do you have any idea what that might be?

When Moses told the Lord that  “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you’?” Then the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?”

“A staff,” he replied.

Exodus 4:3

The Lord said, “Throw it on the ground.” Moses threw it on the ground, and it became a snake, and he ran from it. In Context | Full Chapter | 

 Then the Lord said to him, “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail.” So, Moses reached out and took hold of the snake and it turned back into a staff in his hand. “This,” said the Lord, “is so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has appeared to you.”

Then the Lord said, “Put your hand inside your cloak.” So Moses put his hand into his cloak, and when he took it out, the skin was leprous[a]—it had become as white as snow.

“Now put it back into your cloak,” he said. So, Moses put his hand back into his cloak, and when he took it out, it was restored, like the rest of his flesh.

Then the Lord said, “If they do not believe you or pay attention to the first sign, they may believe the second. But if they do not believe these two signs or listen to you, take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground. The water you take from the river will become blood on the ground.”

10 Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”

11 The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”

13 But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”

14 Then the Lord’s anger burned against Moses and he said, “What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and he will be glad to see you.15 You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth; I will help both of you speak and will teach you what to do. 16 He will speak to the people for you, and it will be as if he were your mouth and as if you were God to him. 17 But take this staff in your hand so you can perform the signs with it.”

Even today, God through His Son Jesus is using ordinary people to perform His mission. God is not dead, He is alive, He is Omniscient, Omnipotent and is the same Yesterday and Today.

His Faithfulness:

Using your God given Gift for a purpose. What is your purpose?

Each of us are given gifts for a purpose, while we are born with ‘Free-Will” and yet we did not ask to be born. But give thanks that you are alive and can choose to do whatever you wish.  With this said, we need to know this…

Romans 11:29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.

Romans 12:6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith.

Jesus did this for you, have you shared this to others?

What did Jesus do for you? You may know it or you may not, one of the most important thing in your life that you have or you may have not yet found was done for you by Jesus.

Read carefully… we said, ‘The most important thing in your life’. So, what is your most important possession you have or the most important event in your life?  Many times, things that we do or choose to do did not seems important until the need arises.

Many times, Jesus spoke of ‘If’ and this is addressed to each of us.

John 14:2-4 (NKJV)

In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” Jesus did go, but the caveat is… And if I go and prepare a place for you, He was saying He wasn’t going to build for ‘All’, this means that Salvation is not by default, we have to come and accept Him.

The Divine Super-Natural powers of our God far exceeds our thinking abilities… so today we stand in awe of the great things our Lord has done for us; His Divine Redemption through his Crucifixion and His Triumphant Resurrection.  Knowing this we are more awe-struck that Jesus who is God Incarnate would do this for us, yes, he did!  Because we are His greatest treasures, when He created us in His Likeness, He said it was Good… so why did He had to die? Because mankind fell from His Grace, He came to redeem us.  Just as Jesus is of the linage of David through Joseph His earthly father that fulfilled the prophecy written over 700 years before Christ was born, we are descendant of Adam whom He created, and by the sin of Adam we are all sinners.

EVENING:

What a privilege our Lord has given us… Through His Death and Resurrection, we have His Divine Redemption. You may say…why do I need to be redeemed? I am going to die someday and what do I know or care?  Guess what? You will never die, because you are carefully and wonderfully made in the Likeness of God, and as such we will never die. The Word of God said… It is appointed unto to man to die once and after that the judgment; here we see a very contradictory statement, how can you be around for the judgment if you died?  Because we really never die, and even after the judgment we will live forever. 

In Christ we will have a life of Splendor, without Christ we are separated from God forever in a place of desolation. 

Modern man will say… how can a loving God put him in a place of perpetual desolation (Hell) Yes, He will as His ‘Fair-Warning’ will end on the Day of the Lord. And the Bible also tells us that …  Peter 3:10

[The Day of the Lord] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.2 Peter 3:9-11 (in Context) 2 Peter 3 (Whole Chapter)

Our Lord is a Loving God but He is also a God of a consuming fire.  Hebrews 12:29

For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:28-29 (in Context) Hebrews 12 (Whole Chapter) 

Friends today our message is a little mix of ‘Fire and Brimstone' tone, but there is GOOD NEWS Because He is ready to receive you and make you a Victor and not a Victim…

2 Corinthians 8:9

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your assurance that in You Lord we have peace and in You we have Victory. Lord we thank You for interceding for us to the Father as no one comes to the Father unless through Your Lord. Lord today we thank You for the privilege of serving You and bringing Your Good News to may for Your Glory. Lord bless our many Visitors and grant Your Favors upon us all as we go in faith. Lord we thank you for Your Grace as we call upon Your Name and to You Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.
